- 0:00Speaker 1: Fly from Midtown Manhattan.
- 0:03Speaker 2: Here comes the Mark Simone Show on seven ten. Well, hey,
- 0:11Speaker 2: thank got it. Friday, we got a lot to get
- 0:13Speaker 2: to Today. It's going to be a beautiful, well a
- 0:15Speaker 2: little hot, ninety degree sunny day. Same thing tomorrow. Although
- 0:20Speaker 2: there was a forecast of a lot of thunderstorms on Sunday,
- 0:22Speaker 2: it looks like that's changing a little. It looks like
- 0:25Speaker 2: now it's a passing thunderstorm on Sunday. So it should
- 0:28Speaker 2: be a great weekend. We'll get to crazy Scott Pelley,
- 0:32Speaker 2: We'll get to Pratt Platner, We'll get to Biden in town.
- 0:36Speaker 2: We'll get to a crazy mayor, Mom, Donnie and the Arch,
- 0:40Speaker 2: and a whole lot more. Of course, the Knicks tonight,
- 0:44Speaker 2: big game tonight, that's San Antonio. Then they come back
- 0:47Speaker 2: here and they play in New York Monday night. It
- 0:50Speaker 2: will be a big, big game Monday night. President Trump
- 0:55Speaker 2: will be here, so it'd be a security nightmare. Traffic wise,
- 0:58Speaker 2: it'll be a mess Monday night, Trump, President Trump coming
- 1:02Speaker 2: in for the next game. He'll sit turns out now
- 1:05Speaker 2: in the owner's box, the suite with Jim Dolan and
- 1:10Speaker 2: some others will be there. Bruce Blakeman and some other people.
- 1:13Speaker 2: Mom Donnie is coming to the game. He makes it
- 1:15Speaker 2: clear he will not be in the owner's suite. He
- 1:18Speaker 2: will be somewhere in the stands. He claims he's paid
- 1:21Speaker 2: for the ticket, which means the campaign paid for the ticket,
- 1:26Speaker 2: since he has no income, has never had a job.
- 1:29Speaker 2: But he'll be there. And then if you go online
- 1:33Speaker 2: and try to get a ticket for this Monday night
- 1:35Speaker 2: game at the guard and I think the cheapest ticket
- 1:38Speaker 2: resale is now like two hundred and eighty five thousand dollars,
- 1:42Speaker 2: absolutely preposterous. President Trump yesterday, I'm going to the next game.
- 1:47Speaker 3: I've been a Nick fan for a long time, and
- 1:49Speaker 3: I'm also a Jim Dolan fan. He's a nice guy, Okay,
- 1:53Speaker 3: he's been a long time wanting to win, and he's
- 1:55Speaker 3: a competitive guy, and he's got a team that's amazing.
- 1:58Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:58Speaker 2: I don't think Kathy Hope will there because it'd be
- 2:00Speaker 2: the first time she ever went to a Knicks game.
- 2:02Speaker 2: She tried to imply President Trump was not a Knicks fan,
- 2:05Speaker 2: although people quickly went online and found many thousands of
- 2:09Speaker 2: pictures of him sitting at the front row of the
- 2:13Speaker 2: Knicks through the years. All constantly for like thirty forty years.
- 2:17Speaker 2: He really is a big Knicks fan. And remember he
- 2:20Speaker 2: put them on the Apprentice. He's a big Knicks fan.
- 2:22Speaker 2: So he'll be there Monday night. It'll be a big,
- 2:26Speaker 2: big moment in New York. If you've been walking around
- 2:28Speaker 2: New York, you'll notice there are all the bagel places
- 2:32Speaker 2: now have orange, orange and blue bagels. Donuts, orange and
- 2:37Speaker 2: blue donuts are everywhere. It's Nicks fever everywhere in New York. Hey,
- 2:43Speaker 2: President Trump has he's appointed this guy, Bruce Poulty as
- 2:49Speaker 2: the acting Director of National Intelligence. Now, as we keep
- 2:53Speaker 2: telling you, he's not going to be the Director of
- 2:56Speaker 2: National Intelligence. This is just temporary until they find somebody.
- 3:00Speaker 2: And he did this last time first term, just threw
- 3:03Speaker 2: somebody in there temporarily till he found who he wanted,
- 3:06Speaker 2: which ended up being John Ratcliffe.
- 3:08Speaker 4: So and you know, this.
- 3:10Speaker 2: Paulty doesn't look very qualified for Director of National Intelligence.
- 3:13Speaker 2: President asked about that yesterday.
- 3:15Speaker 3: It's an acting position, it's not a private He's not
- 3:17Speaker 3: going to be permanent, because you know, I don't think
- 3:19Speaker 3: he'd want to be permanent. But he's a very smart
- 3:22Speaker 3: guy and he may find ask some things about the
- 3:24Speaker 3: rigged elections, et cetera, et cetera.
- 3:26Speaker 2: Yeah, he's a very smart guy. He's one run Fanny
- 3:29Speaker 2: and Freddie and all sorts of He's very good at
- 3:32Speaker 2: going into one of these big systems and finding some
- 3:35Speaker 2: flaws or some things that shouldn't be there. So that's
- 3:39Speaker 2: one reason he wants to go They want he Trump
- 3:41Speaker 2: wants him to go in. He's like sending an auditor
- 3:44Speaker 2: into check things. He's gonna check out the intelligence community,
- 3:49Speaker 2: what they're hiding, what they're not doing, what they should
- 3:51Speaker 2: be doing, what they're doing, that they shouldn't be doing,
- 3:53Speaker 2: that kind of stuff. Although it's it's the CIA, it's
- 3:56Speaker 2: the intelligence people imagine they're pretty good at covering stuff up,
- 3:59Speaker 2: but he's pretty good at finding it. So that's why
- 4:02Speaker 2: he's there till they appoint somebody. President wants better stuff
- 4:07Speaker 2: coming from the intelligence community. You can't trust them, as
- 4:10Speaker 2: many presidents from Kennedy to Bush learned, you can't trust
- 4:15Speaker 2: him on everything. John Bolton will pay a two and
- 4:20Speaker 2: a a two point two five million dollars fine, he's
- 4:24Speaker 2: agreed to that. You know, Bolton, if you go back
- 4:28Speaker 2: to last year, all you heard about was this is
- 4:29Speaker 2: a weaponization of the Justice Department retribution. He's been targeted
- 4:34Speaker 2: for being a critic of the president. Well, it turns
- 4:36Speaker 2: out he's absolutely one thousand percent guilty. He's admitted that
- 4:42Speaker 2: he's totally guilty. One of the reasons he pled guilty.
- 4:45Speaker 2: He's facing like eight eight counts that could send him
- 4:49Speaker 2: to jail for a long time. So to get rid
- 4:52Speaker 2: of that, he agreed to plead guilty till one count,
- 4:56Speaker 2: where the maximum prison term would be five years. He's
- 4:58Speaker 2: agreed one count he'll pay the big fine. Could still
- 5:02Speaker 2: a judge could still send him to prison. But if
- 5:06Speaker 2: you go back to last year, you'll see everybody, including him,
- 5:10Speaker 2: all over television saying these are false charges. They're just
- 5:13Speaker 2: weaponizing the Justice Department. They're just out to get them.
- 5:16Speaker 2: And then if you go back to when Trump mar
- 5:20Speaker 2: a Lago was rated the document's case, you'll see video
- 5:25Speaker 2: of Bolton all over television saying President Trump, Donald Trump
- 5:29Speaker 2: must go to jail for having those documents. He must
- 5:33Speaker 2: go to jail. So Bolton obviously regretting those videos. In fact,
- 5:38Speaker 2: the prosecutor could play that for the judge where Bolton
- 5:41Speaker 2: on television says you've got to go to jail for
- 5:43Speaker 2: having classified documents. You got to give the guy credit
- 5:47Speaker 2: for Hutzbud Oliver Television saying that when he knows at
- 5:51Speaker 2: home on his computer, he's got tons of classified documents
- 5:55Speaker 2: sitting there. Not only that, but he shared him with
- 5:57Speaker 2: his family. Obviously they have no clearance to look at
- 6:01Speaker 2: this stuff. He was a one hundred percent guilty hey,
- 6:04Speaker 2: and a lot of people pointing out that what he's
- 6:07Speaker 2: gonna get convicted of and possibly go to jail for
- 6:11Speaker 2: and definitely pay a huge fine is exactly what Hillary
- 6:15Speaker 2: Clinton got caught doing, storing classified documents on her home computers.
- 6:21Speaker 2: Totally illegal. This is what Hillary Clinton did. This is
- 6:25Speaker 2: what she should have been convicted of. But the dirty
- 6:29Speaker 2: cop James Comby, remember he held that fake press conference
- 6:32Speaker 2: where he said no reasonable prosecutor would bring such a charge. Well,
- 6:37Speaker 2: there was never any truth to that. It was a
- 6:38Speaker 2: total lie. It was Komby at his dirtiest, you know,
- 6:44Speaker 2: letting Hillary off the hook. Now, it's definitely a crime.
- 6:49Speaker 2: Hillary should have been charged with it. Any reasonable prosecutor
- 6:54Speaker 2: would bring the charge. And here's the real point. These
- 6:58Speaker 2: charges against Bolton began under the Biden Justice Department. It
- 7:03Speaker 2: was the Biden Justice Department that opened up this case.
- 7:06Speaker 2: It was the Biden Justice Department that began this process.
- 7:10Speaker 2: So it's a Biden case originally. Hey, speaking of Crazy Joe.
- 7:15Speaker 2: He and Jill are in town for the book tour
- 7:18Speaker 2: of this horrible book. It's the if you read the book,
- 7:21Speaker 2: it's just boring, shallow, empty, dull. In other words, it
- 7:29Speaker 2: captures her perfectly. It's really hering. There's nothing in the book.
- 7:34Speaker 2: You know, when anybody's on a book tour and they're
- 7:36Speaker 2: doing all these TV shows, all these interviews about the book,
- 7:40Speaker 2: what they do is in the interviews they give you
- 7:42Speaker 2: some juicy tidbits from the book or wow, and they
- 7:45Speaker 2: tell you a story in the book and the host is,
- 7:47Speaker 2: oh my, wow. You notice there hasn't been one of
- 7:51Speaker 2: those from Jill Biden because there aren't any. There's no highlights,
- 7:54Speaker 2: there's no juicy things in the book. Nothing. So in
- 7:57Speaker 2: four hundred interviews, she has yet to reveal anything of interest.
- 8:01Speaker 2: Even the publisher, you know, usually the publisher puts out
- 8:03Speaker 2: some stuff, you know, here's what's in the book. There's nothing,
- 8:07Speaker 2: absolutely nothing. So they run around New York doing interviews
- 8:12Speaker 2: with a caravan of SUVs seven eight big you had,
- 8:17Speaker 2: you know, these big big those black secret service kind
- 8:21Speaker 2: of cars pull up and the bidens that travel all
- 8:26Speaker 2: over the place in New York. They did go to
- 8:28Speaker 2: dinner last night. They were supposed to go. The word
- 8:32Speaker 2: was they were going to Elios. Now on the Upper
- 8:34Speaker 2: East Side, there's a little circuit of the top Italian restaurants.
- 8:38Speaker 2: There's Elos, there's Promola, and there's Nicola's. Nicola's is the
- 8:44Speaker 2: best of the bunch, especially food wise, it's the best,
- 8:47Speaker 2: one of the best Italian restaurants in New York. Elio's
- 8:50Speaker 2: very popular, but with the wrong people. You know, Nicola's.
- 8:53Speaker 2: You go in there, you get the top CEOs, the
- 8:56Speaker 2: top business people. Elios is Donny Deutsch, that sort of.
- 9:00Speaker 2: It's like a lot of media. There's a lot of
- 9:03Speaker 2: Donny Deutsch's in there. So the word was Biden was
- 9:07Speaker 2: going to go to Elio's last night. So a lot
- 9:08Speaker 2: of people showed up. Donny Deutsch, Martha Stewart, all these
- 9:14Speaker 2: celebrities are sitting there waiting for Joe Biden. He fooled
- 9:17Speaker 2: everybody and he went to the restaurant FuMO, which nothing
- 9:22Speaker 2: wrong with it, but it's kind of a nothing place.
- 9:24Speaker 2: It's a little tiny, it doesn't look like much. It's
- 9:27Speaker 2: not Nicolas, it's not Elio's or Promola. Doesn't look like
- 9:30Speaker 2: that Fumos. If you walk by, you just kind of
- 9:32Speaker 2: look at it and not even think about going. And
- 9:35Speaker 2: somehow Biden ended up. There some speculation that Biden just
- 9:40Speaker 2: got lost and mistaken and thought he was in Ilios
- 9:44Speaker 2: Ilio's saying they really didn't ever think he was coming.
- 9:47Speaker 2: But hopefully this is it and the Bidens will leave
- 9:50Speaker 2: town today and get the hell out of here. Hey,
- 9:54Speaker 2: you know about the arch, This is going to be
- 9:56Speaker 2: the next big thing. The ballroom fight and all that.
- 10:00Speaker 2: And then the Democrats and the liberals media have been
- 10:04Speaker 2: fighting about the reflecting pool. They don't like what Trump
- 10:06Speaker 2: did to it. He fixed it. It was a total disaster,
- 10:10Speaker 2: leaking a mess. He fixed it. It's now working perfectly.
- 10:14Speaker 2: But they don't like the color heat the blue that
- 10:16Speaker 2: he used. So that was a big fight, but it
- 10:18Speaker 2: didn't catch on. The public couldn't care less about this.
- 10:22Speaker 2: So the next big fight will be the arch. He
- 10:25Speaker 2: wants to put in a massive arch in Washington, DC,
- 10:29Speaker 2: you know, like the Arcta triumphan in Paris, that beautiful
- 10:33Speaker 2: arch where all the big boulevards come together, that circle,
- 10:36Speaker 2: and then Washington Square Park you got a little version
- 10:40Speaker 2: of it. You got that arch. So Trump wants to
- 10:42Speaker 2: build one of those in Washington, d C. As you
- 10:45Speaker 2: head towards the Potomac, and it looks beautiful, I mean
- 10:51Speaker 2: maybe a little too much gold on it, but it
- 10:52Speaker 2: looks beautiful. It looks spectacular. He's the greatest builder in America,
- 10:57Speaker 2: so he'll get it done. So if you're on only
- 10:59Speaker 2: those left twing sites, the Blue Sky, the left wing
- 11:03Speaker 2: Facebook people, they are all yelling and screaming.
- 11:05Speaker 4: About the arch.
- 11:06Speaker 2: It blocks the view of Arlington. I don't know. It
- 11:11Speaker 2: stops there to look at Arlington. And actually with the arch,
- 11:14Speaker 2: people will most likely get out and walk around that
- 11:16Speaker 2: circle and they'll have the view. Doug Bergham testifying, had
- 11:21Speaker 2: to defend the arch.
- 11:22Speaker 5: There's a very large circle. It was designed to hold
- 11:24Speaker 5: a monument. The arc that would go there is a
- 11:29Speaker 5: fantastic compliment and completion of this plan that's over one
- 11:32Speaker 5: hundred and twenty years ago.
- 11:34Speaker 2: Yeah. No, it looks beautiful. Maybe a little touch cold,
- 11:37Speaker 2: but it looks beautiful.
- 11:39Speaker 5: People come from around the world. They don't know that
- 11:41Speaker 5: one hundred yards away is the beautiful Potomac River, which
- 11:44Speaker 5: was part of the original plan. And now they'd be
- 11:46Speaker 5: able to walk around the Lincoln Memorial, walk on a
- 11:48Speaker 5: pedestrian bridge, over the first highway, walk over the next one,
- 11:52Speaker 5: and right down to the water.
- 11:53Speaker 2: Yeah, it'll be beautiful. But Democrats love to yell and
- 11:58Speaker 2: scream about and the thing they ken so had that
- 12:01Speaker 2: crazy Scott Pelley, he put out this letter to everybody.
- 12:07Speaker 2: I still think CBS should sue him. He really should
- 12:10Speaker 2: get sued over this. He accuses him of all kinds
- 12:12Speaker 2: of nonsense. He claims he was ordered he was told
- 12:16Speaker 2: to put fake things into stories. He was told to
- 12:20Speaker 2: put false assertations into stories, put false information into stories.
- 12:25Speaker 2: Now the real truth. That's why I should assume to
- 12:27Speaker 2: have this all come out. All he was told to
- 12:29Speaker 2: do was when he was doing one of those hit pieces.
- 12:32Speaker 2: When he was doing one of those hatchet jobs, he
- 12:34Speaker 2: was told, hey, you got to put in a response
- 12:36Speaker 2: from the other side. You have to get the other
- 12:39Speaker 2: So when he went vicious attack on the Trump administration,
- 12:42Speaker 2: he had to let them respond and put that in
- 12:44Speaker 2: the piece, which is standard journalism for one hundred years.
- 12:48Speaker 2: But to him, that was putting false assertations in there. Now,
- 12:52Speaker 2: look at this, Katie Kuric all of a sudden jumps
- 12:55Speaker 2: into this. Katie Kuric comes out and says, CBS was
- 12:58Speaker 2: absolutely right. Barry Weiss had no choice, no choice but
- 13:03Speaker 2: to fire him. It was classic definitive insubordination. You had
- 13:10Speaker 2: to fire him. Now, she's a real left winger. Why
- 13:13Speaker 2: would she jump in on this, Well, obviously she'd like
- 13:16Speaker 2: to go back to CBS. Obviously she knows there's going
- 13:20Speaker 2: to be a lot of openings at sixty minutes for
- 13:22Speaker 2: correspondence anchors. She'd like to be one of them. So
- 13:25Speaker 2: that's why she's jumping back in there now. Of course,
- 13:29Speaker 2: she was once the anchor of the CBS Evening News
- 13:31Speaker 2: paid her of fortune to get her away from NBC.
- 13:34Speaker 2: It didn't do well, it wasn't great. Now, the one
- 13:39Speaker 2: reason she could be hired there is she was always known,
- 13:43Speaker 2: you know the Today Show years as kind of a neutral,
- 13:45Speaker 2: non political kind of a person. However, in the last
- 13:50Speaker 2: year she's gone very left wing and really lashed out
- 13:53Speaker 2: at Trump and that kind of stuff all over podcasts
- 13:58Speaker 2: in every place. So now maybe that was Curry favored
- 14:00Speaker 2: with the left and didn't work. They left, didn't have
- 14:03Speaker 2: much interest. And now maybe she's trying to go back
- 14:05Speaker 2: the other way. But you left a paper trail of
- 14:09Speaker 2: comments that might make them think you're not so objective. Hey,
- 14:13Speaker 2: if you're a Democrat or a liberal, you might want
- 14:16Speaker 2: to cover your ears from it. It's very bad news
- 14:18Speaker 2: for you. And it was a very sad day for CNBC.
- 14:22Speaker 2: They had to report the new jobs numbers job's numbers
- 14:25Speaker 2: coming out this morning. They were not only good, they
- 14:27Speaker 2: were spectacular. They were double double what was expected one
- 14:32Speaker 2: hundred and seventy two thousand new jobs in the month.
- 14:36Speaker 2: Not twenty percent better than expected, one hundred percent better.
- 14:40Speaker 2: Literally double. Unemployment rate remains four point three. That is
- 14:45Speaker 2: considered full employment, very good news for the economy. Don't
- 14:50Speaker 2: tell Elizabeth Warren about that, you know, whenever she's asked
- 14:53Speaker 2: about Platner, she changes the subject about how bad everything
- 14:57Speaker 2: Everything is bad? To Elizabeth Warren, Do.
- 14:59Speaker 4: You worry about war coming out about his past? That
- 15:01Speaker 4: could damage his chances?
- 15:02Speaker 6: What I'm worried about is another day of war in Iranas?
- 15:08Speaker 5: Are these accusations disturbing to you?
- 15:11Speaker 6: What is disturbing to me is what's happening in this
- 15:14Speaker 6: economy and how right now the Republicans just sign off
- 15:18Speaker 6: on it.
- 15:18Speaker 2: Yeah, what is happening in this disastrous economy? This is
- 15:21Speaker 2: all over, these sort of things all over CNN, MSNBC,
- 15:25Speaker 2: the disastrous economy, and the Liberals have all convinced themselves
- 15:29Speaker 2: there's problems in the economy. Every economic number, every economic
- 15:33Speaker 2: metric is great right now, except for gas prices. They're
- 15:36Speaker 2: a little higher, nowhere near the Biden levels, but they're
- 15:40Speaker 2: a little higher, and that'll come down. But otherwise the
- 15:42Speaker 2: economy is doing very very well. Don't tell her that though. Hey,
- 15:47Speaker 2: we'll take some calls in a moment. Eight hundred three
- 15:49Speaker 2: to two one zero seven ten is the number. Eight
- 15:53Speaker 2: hundred three to two one zero seven ten.
- 15:57Speaker 7: It's the Marximone Show live from the Double R Life
- 16:01Speaker 7: Back studios.
- 16:04Speaker 2: Hey, we'll take some calls. Eight hundred three two one
- 16:07Speaker 2: zero seven ten is the number. Let's go to Dave
- 16:11Speaker 2: in Chicago. Dave, how you.
- 16:12Speaker 8: Doing, Good morning, Mark.
- 16:14Speaker 9: I'm doing very well, Thank you.
- 16:16Speaker 4: Mark.
- 16:16Speaker 10: I was watching President of Trump's press conference yesterday and
- 16:20Speaker 10: the idea of a two hundred and fifty dollars bill
- 16:22Speaker 10: featuring his image was raised. Obviously, if this was to happen,
- 16:27Speaker 10: they would have to change the law and to make
- 16:30Speaker 10: it legal tender. But I'm wondering, why did they discuss
- 16:34Speaker 10: two hundred and fifty dollars?
- 16:35Speaker 2: Isn't that Oh, because it's two d and fifty two
- 16:39Speaker 2: hundred and fiftieth birthday of America.
- 16:42Speaker 4: Oh, I understand.
- 16:43Speaker 2: It would be like a limited edition, special commemorative bill.
- 16:47Speaker 2: Just this year they put it out. And by the way,
- 16:49Speaker 2: if you can get one, get one, because it may
- 16:51Speaker 2: be worth a fortune. You know those rare bills coins
- 16:54Speaker 2: end up being worth a fortune years later. But it's
- 16:56Speaker 2: to celebrate the two hundred and fiftieth birthday. Let's go
- 17:00Speaker 2: to Chris in Manhattan. Chris, how you doing.
- 17:02Speaker 11: Good morning, Mark. I'm not being a panic in this time.
- 17:05Speaker 2: He's always a panic and he's always panicking.
- 17:07Speaker 1: That's this time.
- 17:08Speaker 11: Listen, who makes up the rules for the bus lanes
- 17:12Speaker 11: and the bike lanes and all that stuff. I was
- 17:14Speaker 11: driving on twentieth on Madison Avenue in the twenties and thirties.
- 17:18Speaker 11: It was one lane. Last night, they have these two
- 17:21Speaker 11: enormous bus lanes that are totally being unused at like
- 17:24Speaker 11: nine o'clock at night, and the other side is parking.
- 17:27Speaker 11: It's one lane going up Madison Avenue. And they have
- 17:30Speaker 11: all these side streets, these small side streets with bike
- 17:32Speaker 11: lanes on them. Nobody really pays attention to it. But
- 17:35Speaker 11: it's an inconvenience because they put up these stupid barriers
- 17:38Speaker 11: and there are no bikes on them.
- 17:40Speaker 2: It's done by politicians who don't know what the hell
- 17:42Speaker 2: they're doing. What they do is they take any street
- 17:44Speaker 2: four lanes, put in bike lanes, a scooter lanes, bus lane.
- 17:47Speaker 2: Next thing you know, it's only one lane for traffic.
- 17:50Speaker 2: And then after a while they go, look at the congestion.
- 17:52Speaker 2: We must have congestion pricing to reduce the congestion.
- 17:55Speaker 11: And there was there was traffic last night, like nine
- 17:57Speaker 11: to thirty ten o'clock, there was traffic on Avenue and
- 18:00Speaker 11: it was because it was all one lane. It wasn't
- 18:02Speaker 11: an accident or anything. No, how did the trucks do
- 18:05Speaker 11: it during the day, Like if there are trucks there,
- 18:07Speaker 11: you can't go on the bus lane. Trucks make deliveries
- 18:10Speaker 11: in Manhattan. What happens on Madison Avenue when it's only
- 18:13Speaker 11: one lane.
- 18:14Speaker 2: That's what they do, and that's why they have congestion pricing,
- 18:16Speaker 2: because they create They created the congestion. Get rid of
- 18:20Speaker 2: the bike lanes, the bus lanes, get rid of all
- 18:22Speaker 2: of that.
- 18:22Speaker 4: Maybe never have.
- 18:23Speaker 11: So many been so inconvenience for the benefit of so few.
- 18:26Speaker 11: I mean all the bicycle lanes or deliveries for you
- 18:29Speaker 11: they have hamburgers.
- 18:30Speaker 2: And stuff exactly. That's the that's the problem. Some of
- 18:33Speaker 2: the streets have two bus lanes. You only need one
- 18:35Speaker 2: stop it with all of that stuff. Get rid of
- 18:37Speaker 2: all of that. You don't need. You know, sixth Avenue
- 18:40Speaker 2: used to be fifth Avenue, used to be four or
- 18:42Speaker 2: five lanes. Now it's one lane, two lanes. Absolutely ridiculous.
- 18:46Speaker 2: That's why you got congestion pricing. Should not allow politicians
- 18:50Speaker 2: to ever ever do stuff like this. They don't know
- 18:52Speaker 2: what the hell they're doing. Let's go to Mike in Florida. Mike,
- 18:57Speaker 2: how you doing.
- 18:58Speaker 12: Good morning, Mark, Mike. I have to give the Democrats
- 19:02Speaker 12: like Elizabeth Warren credit. They know how to stick take
- 19:05Speaker 12: a story and stick with it. This Graham Platner story
- 19:09Speaker 12: is a perfect contrast with the with the Spencer Pratt
- 19:14Speaker 12: story in La Democrats.
- 19:17Speaker 4: This guy can do no wrong.
- 19:19Speaker 12: The guy from Maine. On the other man, You ask
- 19:21Speaker 12: a republicanoun Spencer Pratt, and they start to clutch their pearls.
- 19:24Speaker 1: Well he's not really experienced.
- 19:27Speaker 12: Well he could be, and there's all this equivocation the Democrats.
- 19:31Speaker 4: Nope, there's nothing wrong with Nazi signal.
- 19:33Speaker 13: No, it's not a Nazi signal.
- 19:34Speaker 4: What do you create?
- 19:35Speaker 12: Jewish guys Werry Sanders are supporting him.
- 19:38Speaker 2: Don't be too shocked if Platner is gone by Monday,
- 19:41Speaker 2: don't be too surprised. He could be. You're right, But
- 19:44Speaker 2: there's more.
- 19:45Speaker 4: Common and he lasted this long as remarkable.
- 19:47Speaker 2: There's more common, and Republicans have a lot more about him.
- 19:50Speaker 2: They haven't released yet, but Democrats are starting to get
- 19:53Speaker 2: worried about that, so they may replace it.
- 19:55Speaker 4: I'm sure you're right.
- 19:56Speaker 2: Yeah, they got the main governor who'd be the backup candidate,
- 19:59Speaker 2: who's pretty good. But well, thanks for calling. Let's go
- 20:02Speaker 2: to Rich and Myrtle Beach Rich, how you doing?
- 20:05Speaker 13: Hey, Hey, thanks Mark. That guy had it slightly wrong.
- 20:07Speaker 13: The Democrats sure know how to get rid of somebody.
- 20:09Speaker 13: When they want to get rid of somebody, it's not
- 20:11Speaker 13: a matter of stick with a story. They put their
- 20:13Speaker 13: target on you. You're totally done. You know, Hey, this
- 20:16Speaker 13: John Bolton's got to go to jail at least that way,
- 20:18Speaker 13: somebody like in Trump's administration will actually put somebody in jail.
- 20:22Speaker 9: Beyond balls.
- 20:22Speaker 13: But it's funny because John Bolton is hated by both
- 20:25Speaker 13: sides so much as no way this guy was getting
- 20:27Speaker 13: out of this in the first place. He flip flopped
- 20:30Speaker 13: so many times both sides hate him. And the last
- 20:32Speaker 13: point is Joe Biden, this doctorate of education can't even
- 20:36Speaker 13: write a book and put some sentences together to make anything.
- 20:39Speaker 2: So well, doctor of education, she's a teacher, but she
- 20:42Speaker 2: was a teacher at Delaware Community College. Imagine your husband's
- 20:46Speaker 2: vice president of the United States, and that's the best
- 20:47Speaker 2: job you can get Delaware Community College.
- 20:50Speaker 13: Yeah, I mean, my wife was a New York City
- 20:52Speaker 13: school teacher for twenty six and a half years and
- 20:55Speaker 13: hadn't did a fantastic job, and she could write a
- 20:57Speaker 13: better book anybody could.
- 20:59Speaker 2: But thanks for calling. Yeah, it's a platiner, an absolute mess.
- 21:03Speaker 2: Republicans got all kinds of dirt on them. Don't be
- 21:06Speaker 2: shocked if that comes out pretty soon. Let's go to
- 21:08Speaker 2: Barbara and Long Island. Barbara, how you doing. Wait a minute, Barbara,
- 21:13Speaker 2: are you there?
- 21:15Speaker 9: Yes?
- 21:15Speaker 14: Can you hear me?
- 21:16Speaker 2: Now? I can hear you.
- 21:17Speaker 14: Go ahead, Okay, great. I know this is a little
- 21:20Speaker 14: bit of all news. But I'm still concerned about those
- 21:24Speaker 14: people that were going down into the manholes. Yeah, I mean,
- 21:29Speaker 14: to me, I think I should be investigated a little
- 21:32Speaker 14: bit more. I mean, isn't it a concern that maybe
- 21:34Speaker 14: they're down there putting.
- 21:37Speaker 2: Oh no, no, we know why they're down there. They're thieves,
- 21:39Speaker 2: they believe it or not. If you go through the sewers,
- 21:42Speaker 2: people lose things, they fall down the If you go
- 21:44Speaker 2: look down there and look, you'll find jewelry, you'll find money.
- 21:48Speaker 14: You'll find I'm a little concerned about possible explosives or
- 21:52Speaker 14: some kind of terrorism.
- 21:53Speaker 2: And did they no, no, no, no, they're all yeah,
- 21:55Speaker 2: they're all just crummy little It's probably the lowest job
- 21:58Speaker 2: in thief world to be the were.
- 22:01Speaker 14: I hope you're correct.
- 22:03Speaker 2: Yeah, no, no, they got it. And actually they're watching
- 22:06Speaker 2: for them now. They stopped us. It's a it's quite
- 22:08Speaker 2: an operation. They wear those ed Norton you know, rubber
- 22:11Speaker 2: boots and rubber coveralls and we get that Ed Norton
- 22:15Speaker 2: sewer clothes. They go down there, five or six of them.
- 22:19Speaker 2: They go through the tunnels. They pick up everything they can, jewelry,
- 22:22Speaker 2: watch his money, all sorts of stuff, phones, and then
- 22:26Speaker 2: they climb back up and there's a car waiting for him.
- 22:28Speaker 2: They take off all the dirty, filthy clothes, throw them
- 22:30Speaker 2: in the trunk and the car takes them away. Hey,
- 22:33Speaker 2: when we come back, Roger Friedman, the Great Entertainment Reporter,
- 22:36Speaker 2: we'll talk to him next on seven ten wo R.
- 22:40Speaker 4: The Mark Simon Show on sevent ten wr.
- 22:45Speaker 2: Hey, Roger Friedman, the Great Entertainment Reporter's got a wonderful
- 22:49Speaker 2: website with the new stuff every day. You should check
- 22:51Speaker 2: it every day. Showbiz for one one dot com, Showbizz
- 22:56Speaker 2: for one one dot com. Roger Friedman, how you doing?
- 23:00Speaker 4: I'm great? Good morning Mark.
- 23:02Speaker 2: Hey, our friend Clive Davis was in the hospital. How's
- 23:05Speaker 2: he doing now?
- 23:06Speaker 7: He was?
- 23:07Speaker 4: He's home.
- 23:09Speaker 15: He's recuperating from an upper respiratory infection. You know, he's
- 23:14Speaker 15: ninety four and Okra Memorial Day weekend, he had a
- 23:18Speaker 15: three day event at his house in Westchester where there
- 23:22Speaker 15: were like one hundred guests there, and you know, he's
- 23:26Speaker 15: right at the center of all the activity, so it
- 23:28Speaker 15: might have been a little much, you know, for anybody.
- 23:30Speaker 15: Forget about ninety four even seventy four. So yeah, but
- 23:35Speaker 15: let's go to the hospital for.
- 23:36Speaker 2: Let's explain that he does that every weekend. That's a
- 23:39Speaker 2: normal weekend. One hundred people come to the house, and
- 23:42Speaker 2: you get a schedule. When you get there, you've been there,
- 23:44Speaker 2: you get that that's all right, schedule nine o'clock breakfast,
- 23:47Speaker 2: ten o'clock rest period, and then you're all going to
- 23:52Speaker 2: lunch at this restaurant. There's two buses waiting to take you,
- 23:55Speaker 2: and then.
- 23:55Speaker 4: That's exactly right.
- 23:57Speaker 15: Dinner, and then they've got a show. They put on
- 23:59Speaker 15: a show later in the theater. Everyone performs. It's hysterical,
- 24:06Speaker 15: and he's he's right at the center of it all
- 24:08Speaker 15: the time. So you know, he loves it. He's a showman.
- 24:12Speaker 15: So he's gonna just take it easy now and recuperate.
- 24:17Speaker 15: I think, don't think he'll make it to the Songwriters
- 24:19Speaker 15: Hall of Fame on next Thursday. Hopefully he'll just yeah,
- 24:23Speaker 15: hopefully he'll stay in bed or sit outside on the terrace.
- 24:27Speaker 4: And you know, listen, to some music. I don't know.
- 24:30Speaker 2: This is the guy that goes out seven nights week.
- 24:31Speaker 2: You really think he'll stay at home.
- 24:34Speaker 15: Well, he's going to have to until he feels better. Yeah,
- 24:37Speaker 15: this is a it's a serious thing to have a
- 24:39Speaker 15: upper respiratory infection, especially at that age. But he's going
- 24:43Speaker 15: to be fine and we're all sending him good wishes.
- 24:46Speaker 2: Well, that's good. Hey, Tony Awards this Sunday.
- 24:49Speaker 15: What do you think Tony Awards are going to be great?
- 24:53Speaker 15: First of all, the ratings are going to be great.
- 24:54Speaker 15: There's no competition, there's no sports at all, so they're
- 24:59Speaker 15: very lucky they don't have a Knicks game or anything
- 25:01Speaker 15: against them. And Pink the singer, is going to be
- 25:04Speaker 15: the host, and I think she's going to be great.
- 25:07Speaker 15: They have all the shows, all the musicals that are
- 25:10Speaker 15: on Broadway are doing numbers. They're having a big anniversary
- 25:16Speaker 15: number for the Book of Mormon.
- 25:17Speaker 4: With all of their original Tony winners.
- 25:20Speaker 15: Queen Latifa is doing a thirtieth anniversary of Chicago the Musical,
- 25:25Speaker 15: So it's going to be I think it's going to
- 25:26Speaker 15: be pretty cool. Yeah, it was going to be pretty entertaining.
- 25:30Speaker 2: Broadway this year was it a big money wise. Was
- 25:33Speaker 2: it a big year for Broadway?
- 25:35Speaker 15: It was a big year money wise, but it wasn't
- 25:38Speaker 15: a great year for the quality of the new musicals
- 25:41Speaker 15: because it's very expensive to produce a musical now on Broadway.
- 25:45Speaker 15: They've got to get the costs down and so they're
- 25:47Speaker 15: only bringing in things that have recognized titles like Beaches
- 25:53Speaker 15: came in and then it closed immediately, and that's a
- 25:56Speaker 15: problem because they're trying to turn these movie names into
- 25:59Speaker 15: musical and nobody wants that. And the shows aren't good,
- 26:03Speaker 15: they're not made for musicals. So last year we had Maybe,
- 26:10Speaker 15: what's it called Maybe ever After and Maybe Happy Ending,
- 26:15Speaker 15: and that was an original show that was brilliant. So
- 26:19Speaker 15: they've got to they've got to go back to doing that.
- 26:21Speaker 15: This year was a tough year financially to produce shows,
- 26:25Speaker 15: but otherwise, no, the shows are booming. Hamilton is booming,
- 26:28Speaker 15: Harry Potter is booming, of course, the Whiz and the
- 26:32Speaker 15: Lion King. So Broadway. You know, they used to say, oh,
- 26:36Speaker 15: Broadway's dying, it's never going to die, It's going to
- 26:40Speaker 15: be here long after we'd gone. We're going to die first.
- 26:44Speaker 2: Well that's good to hear, Hey, what the hell is
- 26:46Speaker 2: Madonna doing? Why didn't she go away? How did we
- 26:48Speaker 2: get rid of this Donna?
- 26:50Speaker 4: Oh my god?
- 26:52Speaker 15: She was in Times Square yesterday. Well, she really wants
- 26:56Speaker 15: to have a hit with her new album. It's called
- 26:58Speaker 15: Confessions on a Dance Floor Part Two, and it's a
- 27:02Speaker 15: disco album. She's really leaning on her gay audience. Yesterday
- 27:07Speaker 15: she threw like the biggest gay party in the world
- 27:10Speaker 15: in Times Square. She's up on the way up High,
- 27:14Speaker 15: you know, where the Times Square ball is, dancing away
- 27:17Speaker 15: in Silicon Silicon and you know she's lip syncing, and
- 27:23Speaker 15: she's sixty eight years old. You know, you have to
- 27:26Speaker 15: give her credit. She wants to stay relevant. Everybody wants
- 27:29Speaker 15: to stay relevant. Yeah, so's she's doing her best to
- 27:33Speaker 15: keep her hand in. But it seemed a little desperate
- 27:36Speaker 15: yesterday to be, you know, hanging off. She was hanging
- 27:40Speaker 15: off the side of the platform, and I don't know
- 27:44Speaker 15: what that was all about.
- 27:45Speaker 4: Yeah, so, you know, she's you.
- 27:47Speaker 2: Got to learn from from Frank Sinautter to Billy Joel.
- 27:50Speaker 2: When you get that old no more albums, no more
- 27:53Speaker 2: hit singles, it's over. You become a elder statesman, and
- 27:57Speaker 2: you do these grand concerts all like Billy Joel, you
- 27:59Speaker 2: try all the country doing these magnificent concerts. That's what
- 28:03Speaker 2: you do. Why didn't you just do that?
- 28:05Speaker 9: You know?
- 28:06Speaker 4: When we were kids.
- 28:08Speaker 15: I don't know if you remember this, there was a
- 28:10Speaker 15: woman who did burlesque. Her name was Anne Coreo, and
- 28:15Speaker 15: she was quite She was probably about that age when
- 28:18Speaker 15: she was doing it.
- 28:19Speaker 4: When I was twelve.
- 28:20Speaker 15: It seemed like she was one hundred and six, but
- 28:23Speaker 15: she was too old to be doing it. It was
- 28:24Speaker 15: kind of a joke. And that's what Madonna reminds me of.
- 28:28Speaker 15: You know, It's like she's going to keep doing this
- 28:32Speaker 15: in her seventies. We're going to be seeing her, you know,
- 28:36Speaker 15: in all kinds of strange costumes, trying to get a
- 28:39Speaker 15: disco audience to dance.
- 28:40Speaker 2: Yeah, but okay, that's going to work. And Courrea was
- 28:43Speaker 2: not a big hit on the Top Music State. She
- 28:45Speaker 2: was not on the Ed Sullivan. She was on like
- 28:47Speaker 2: the end of the Mike Douglas Show.
- 28:48Speaker 4: Maybe that was it. Well, Madonna wasn't on Ed Sullivan.
- 28:54Speaker 15: But but meantime she's got a deal with people like
- 28:58Speaker 15: Taylor Swift. Now, Taylor Swift released a single last night
- 29:01Speaker 15: it's the song from Toy Story five and it's already
- 29:07Speaker 15: number one and people were going crazy trying to get
- 29:11Speaker 15: copies of it in the last few days.
- 29:13Speaker 4: And it's huge.
- 29:15Speaker 15: And you know, she's thirty six and that's the appropriate
- 29:18Speaker 15: age for this. So that's what Madonna is facing, that
- 29:21Speaker 15: kind of competition.
- 29:23Speaker 4: Carpenter on her album. Yeah.
- 29:25Speaker 2: According to Forbes, Taylor Swift is now a billionaire, making
- 29:29Speaker 2: her one of the very few billionaires in the music.
- 29:31Speaker 15: Two billion, two billion, two billion, not just one billion,
- 29:35Speaker 15: two billion.
- 29:35Speaker 2: Excuse me, two billion. There you go, two billion.
- 29:39Speaker 15: That's why Travis he's going to throw his last ball
- 29:41Speaker 15: and go home and smoke cigars.
- 29:43Speaker 2: So this would put her ahead of McCartney and Oprah
- 29:46Speaker 2: in the billionaire show biz category perform I'm not surprised.
- 29:50Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm not surprised. Yeah. Now, well she's you know,
- 29:53Speaker 4: think about it.
- 29:54Speaker 15: First of all, she has a marketing scheme that's amazing.
- 29:59Speaker 15: But McCartney isn't doing too badly. I have to say
- 30:01Speaker 15: he has run a perfect pr campaign all week. He's
- 30:05Speaker 15: going to have the number five album today. It's even
- 30:09Speaker 15: doing better than last week. But it's called The Boys
- 30:12Speaker 15: of Dungeon Lane. It's an excellent album, very very good.
- 30:15Speaker 15: It's going to get Grammy Awards and it's people are
- 30:18Speaker 15: loving it, and so, I mean, you have to give
- 30:20Speaker 15: him credit. He's done a classy job of coming back.
- 30:24Speaker 15: That's what Madona should be looking at. That's it's a
- 30:27Speaker 15: classy job of coming back. You know, you're not going
- 30:30Speaker 15: to see Paul McCartney in Times Square hanging off a platform.
- 30:33Speaker 2: It's a big difference between Paul McCartney and Madonna. Not
- 30:36Speaker 2: the same league that I'm telling your anything. Hey, how's
- 30:44Speaker 2: our friend Frankie Valley, who's also in his nineties Now,
- 30:48Speaker 2: he canceled the rest of his tour.
- 30:50Speaker 15: Yeah, Frankie took Frankie's done, which is appropriate at the
- 30:56Speaker 15: age of almost ninety two, he's got a stop performing.
- 31:01Speaker 15: They had him out on the road and he was
- 31:05Speaker 15: singing to you know tapes, the music was playing and
- 31:10Speaker 15: his mouth wasn't moving. He didn't even look like he
- 31:12Speaker 15: knew where he was. Now, I've seen Frankie socially at
- 31:16Speaker 15: dinners and that kind of thing over the last couple
- 31:18Speaker 15: of years, and he's looks very good, but he is
- 31:23Speaker 15: very you know old, and and now he's canceled the
- 31:28Speaker 15: rest of his shows for the rest of the year,
- 31:29Speaker 15: and that's good.
- 31:30Speaker 4: He's not coming back after that, but he should be happy.
- 31:33Speaker 4: He's a gigantic star.
- 31:35Speaker 15: What a legacy Jersey Boys, right, He's got the musical
- 31:39Speaker 15: will play forever telling his story. The songs are played constantly.
- 31:44Speaker 15: You know, everyone knows Walk like a Man and Sherry
- 31:47Speaker 15: and rag Doll I mean, and Greece.
- 31:50Speaker 4: You know, come on, he's better than Frecky Valley.
- 31:54Speaker 2: Also, the mayor of Munchkinland. You're not a soprano, right, No,
- 31:58Speaker 2: you're not a sopranos fan.
- 32:00Speaker 4: You have to I am a sopranos fan. But I
- 32:02Speaker 4: don't remember that.
- 32:03Speaker 2: Remember when they wanted to kill him and they didn't.
- 32:05Speaker 2: You know, they're careful what they say on the phone.
- 32:07Speaker 2: He goes the mayor of munchkin Land, what's going on there?
- 32:14Speaker 4: But he was listening.
- 32:15Speaker 15: He's had a great time, but he deserves to stay
- 32:17Speaker 15: home now and not have to you know, but they
- 32:20Speaker 15: love it. See these performers love it. They love the adrenaline,
- 32:23Speaker 15: they love the adelation.
- 32:25Speaker 4: You know, there's so much going on.
- 32:27Speaker 15: Oh, by the way, speaking of performers who were doing well,
- 32:31Speaker 15: Sting starts his I think it's nine performances of the
- 32:37Speaker 15: Last Ship at the Metropolitan Opera on Tuesday. There's still
- 32:40Speaker 15: a few tickets left. I looked online last night. But
- 32:43Speaker 15: it's a great show, you know, the Last Ship, and
- 32:46Speaker 15: you can still get in there. I think they have
- 32:48Speaker 15: seats up top for fifty dollars and of course a
- 32:51Speaker 15: little more expensive downstairs. But it's a Metropolitan Opera and
- 32:56Speaker 15: it's going to be terrific.
- 32:57Speaker 4: I'll be there on Tuesday night and it's gonna be
- 33:01Speaker 4: it's gonna be a terrific week.
- 33:03Speaker 2: Very very good tip for everybody. Go get the sting tickets. Yeah,
- 33:06Speaker 2: and to read showbiz forour one one dot com. There's
- 33:09Speaker 2: a lot more stuff up there Showbiz four one one

- 33:49Speaker 2: they're supposed to be rain on Sunday, Well they're moving
- 33:52Speaker 2: that to Saturday night. Could be evening showers Saturday night.
- 33:55Speaker 2: And the good news is Sunday where it said thunderstorm
- 34:00Speaker 2: all day, now it's just saying eight thunderstorm in the afternoon.
- 34:03Speaker 2: It'll be hot again. It'll be like upper eighties on Sunday.
- 34:07Speaker 2: But it's gonna be a great weekend. Remember that awful
- 34:11Speaker 2: Memorial Day weekend where it never stopped ring. This is
- 34:13Speaker 2: gonna be great. We'll get a lot of stuff in
- 34:16Speaker 2: the next hour right here on seven to ten WR.
- 34:20Speaker 1: Maximo Live from ther LIFEBA Studios.
- 34:27Speaker 2: Well lost to get to this hour. Iran Well. Occasionally
- 34:30Speaker 2: a shot fired here and there, but it's basically a ceasefire.
- 34:33Speaker 2: It is good for us. I know people would like
- 34:36Speaker 2: to get this over with, but the longer we go
- 34:38Speaker 2: on this little ceasefire thing, the more we drain their
- 34:42Speaker 2: finances straight. Oh, Horn Moose closed, although it's not really closed,
- 34:47Speaker 2: it's pretty much closed. But it looks like several hundred
- 34:52Speaker 2: tankers have been slipping through here and there. Even though
- 34:55Speaker 2: we have a blockade. There is a way to slip
- 34:58Speaker 2: through there, some you know, Iranian vessels and some linked
- 35:03Speaker 2: with China and India kind of allowed to go through,
- 35:07Speaker 2: and some other vessels. There's all kinds of tracking stuff,
- 35:11Speaker 2: you know that a boat sends out, you know, like
- 35:13Speaker 2: radar like signals. You can turn all that off, turn
- 35:16Speaker 2: off all the transmission and get to the other side
- 35:19Speaker 2: of the strait, the Oman side, and as close to
- 35:23Speaker 2: that as you can get, you can kind of slip through.
- 35:25Speaker 2: They think about five hundred vessels have sneaked through during
- 35:29Speaker 2: the last month or two, but still there's no open
- 35:34Speaker 2: shipping and Iran can't move their tankers, so it's basically
- 35:38Speaker 2: just draining all of their resources. It's thought that they
- 35:41Speaker 2: only have a couple more weeks before they're totally out
- 35:44Speaker 2: of cash. Inflation is now something like two hundred percent
- 35:47Speaker 2: in Iran and population going without everything pretty much, so
- 35:52Speaker 2: it's an absolute disaster. At some point. The whole thing
- 35:56Speaker 2: is they have to agree no more nuclear anything, and
- 36:00Speaker 2: they'll have to turn in the nuclear material they have,
- 36:03Speaker 2: which is mostly dust. It's in the ground, but we
- 36:06Speaker 2: can get it out. We know how to do that.
- 36:08Speaker 2: We've got teams that can go right in there extract
- 36:11Speaker 2: the stuff. And there's three ways to do it. You
- 36:14Speaker 2: can either wipe it out right there on the scene.
- 36:18Speaker 2: You can destroy it right at the scene, or you
- 36:20Speaker 2: can take it away. You can bring it back somewhere
- 36:24Speaker 2: else where. We have facilities to destroy it. The other
- 36:26Speaker 2: plan was handed over to another country and then they'll well,
- 36:31Speaker 2: but that's not a good plan. President Trump on that.
- 36:34Speaker 3: We could get it right now. I don't think they
- 36:36Speaker 3: could stop us if we want it. But there's no
- 36:38Speaker 3: reason to It's in tomb. You use a good word.
- 36:40Speaker 3: It's in toomb. We also have cameras on it through
- 36:44Speaker 3: Space Force.
- 36:45Speaker 2: Yeah, we have Space Force has about how many about
- 36:50Speaker 2: several hundred cameras are watching every inch of I ran
- 36:53Speaker 2: right now.
- 36:54Speaker 4: Now.
- 36:54Speaker 2: We could go in there anytime we want. He's right
- 36:57Speaker 2: the way you would do that again. We have spec teams.
- 37:01Speaker 2: It's a kind of an engineering feat too. You got
- 37:03Speaker 2: to extract this stuff out of the ground. But we
- 37:05Speaker 2: have special engineering teams who know how to destroy a
- 37:07Speaker 2: nuclear material right then and there. We did this in
- 37:09Speaker 2: Libya when Kadafi gave up all his nuclear material. We
- 37:13Speaker 2: went in there and these teams destroyed it on site.
- 37:15Speaker 2: It can be done.
- 37:17Speaker 4: Now.
- 37:17Speaker 2: To do that you have to send in soldiers, ground troops.
- 37:20Speaker 2: But we've done this twice already in Iran. Remember when
- 37:23Speaker 2: we had to rescue those pilots. We created a dead zone.
- 37:27Speaker 2: We set up a perimeter of two miles, which is
- 37:31Speaker 2: where the extraction team would land, and the helicopters and
- 37:37Speaker 2: planes would land there, and we had troops on the
- 37:38Speaker 2: ground there. And then when you set up that two
- 37:41Speaker 2: mile perimeter, it's called a dead zone two mile perimeter,
- 37:45Speaker 2: and they just shoot or kill anything that enters that
- 37:47Speaker 2: perimeter except for our guys. So you would do the
- 37:50Speaker 2: same thing for the nuclear extraction. You'd know where the
- 37:53Speaker 2: material is set up, that two mile perimeter become a
- 37:58Speaker 2: dead zone, and then the planes and drones and everything
- 38:01Speaker 2: patrols that perimeter and shoots anything that tries to enter it,
- 38:05Speaker 2: while our guys on the ground do the extraction. So Platner,
- 38:11Speaker 2: if he's not in the race Monday, don't be too shocked.
- 38:14Speaker 2: Democrats may have to get rid of him at some point.
- 38:17Speaker 2: More and more and more stuff coming out. Democrats still
- 38:21Speaker 2: defend him, except for one give him credit. Fetterman. The
- 38:25Speaker 2: only one who doesn't defend Platner.
- 38:28Speaker 15: Are you concerned that there's more to drop?
- 38:31Speaker 16: Well, he lied to everybody. He said that that there
- 38:36Speaker 16: wasn't any after his Nazi tattoo situation, and now there's
- 38:41Speaker 16: more and more of the things, So he's already lied
- 38:43Speaker 16: about that. So I assume you know it's like they say,
- 38:46Speaker 16: for every ranch you see in Texas, there's fifty that
- 38:49Speaker 16: you haven't seen. So I'm sure there's plenty a lot
- 38:52Speaker 16: of more ranches in pe Hustle's life.
- 38:55Speaker 2: Yeah, you got to be crazy to defend this guy
- 38:58Speaker 2: between the big huge Nazi tattoo, all the other stiff
- 39:02Speaker 2: and they got all these women coming forward saying they
- 39:05Speaker 2: had horrible things with him being attacked, being this, being
- 39:08Speaker 2: that new even the New York Times printing these interviews
- 39:11Speaker 2: with these women. They're just horrible stuff. You got to
- 39:14Speaker 2: get rid of them at some point. You got the
- 39:16Speaker 2: crazy Elizabeth Warrens who couldn't care less about this guy
- 39:18Speaker 2: or anything, or they're just using it as a weapon.
- 39:22Speaker 2: And Warren the humors. They won't say they're endorsing him,
- 39:28Speaker 2: They just dodged the question and they say something else
- 39:30Speaker 2: like this, And do.
- 39:30Speaker 17: You worry about war coming out about his past that
- 39:32Speaker 17: could damage his chances.
- 39:34Speaker 6: What I'm worried about is another day of war in Iran.
- 39:39Speaker 4: Are these accusations disturbing to you?
- 39:42Speaker 6: What is disturbing to me is what's happening in this
- 39:45Speaker 6: economy and how right now the Republicans just sign off
- 39:49Speaker 6: on it.
- 39:50Speaker 2: Economy is doing great job. Numbers just came out there
- 39:52Speaker 2: through the roof. They're double what was expected. Now, when
- 39:56Speaker 2: she says I'm just every day of this war, I'm
- 39:59Speaker 2: so if were Obama doing this, they'd be cheering him
- 40:02Speaker 2: every day. I mean, these people are just comical. If
- 40:04Speaker 2: it were a Boma would love it. It would be great.
- 40:06Speaker 2: It would be Hey, Attorney General, Appointed Attorney General, Acting
- 40:11Speaker 2: Attorney General, Todd Blanche. All that fraud, that Minnesota fraud,
- 40:15Speaker 2: that Ohio fraud, all that fraud they're finding, Well, looks
- 40:19Speaker 2: like they're going to start doing some specially it's going
- 40:21Speaker 2: to start in Ohio.
- 40:22Speaker 18: You's Todd Bland in total, between our state and federal partners, today,
- 40:25Speaker 18: we're announcing charges that were either unsealed today or over
- 40:29Speaker 18: the past week against fourteen defendants allegedly involved in fraud
- 40:34Speaker 18: schemes targeting over fifty million dollars here in Ohio.
- 40:40Speaker 2: Pretty good, pretty good. You know a lot of this
- 40:43Speaker 2: uncovered by Nick Shirley, that kid with an iPhone. You
- 40:47Speaker 2: got that pompous, asked Scott Pelley. In his sixty minutes,
- 40:52Speaker 2: one hundred million dollar budget. They couldn't find anything anywhere.
- 40:55Speaker 2: This kid with his iPhone uncovers all the fraud in Minnesota,
- 40:58Speaker 2: all the fraud in California. So, CBS, if you're listening,
- 41:02Speaker 2: just clean house, get rid of sixteen minutes. Give Nick
- 41:06Speaker 2: Shirley a couple of bucks, give him a crew, a
- 41:07Speaker 2: camera crew. He's uncovered more in a week than sixteen minutes.
- 41:12Speaker 2: It's done in ten years. So hey. By the way,
- 41:14Speaker 2: Scott blanche, the acting Attorney General, has now been nominated.
- 41:19Speaker 2: He will become the attorney general.
- 41:21Speaker 17: Obviously, I'm honored and humble that the President indicated who's
- 41:24Speaker 17: going to nominate me today. I was with him last
- 41:26Speaker 17: night at the dinner when he said that the conference.
- 41:30Speaker 17: I was confirmed a year ago to be the deputy
- 41:32Speaker 17: attorney general. I still have the deputy attorney general. I
- 41:35Speaker 17: will work with the senators. I have a good relationship
- 41:37Speaker 17: with the Senate on both sides.
- 41:40Speaker 2: Yeah. Hey, the other thing the green scheme is pretty
- 41:43Speaker 2: much over. This green scheme with the windmills and all
- 41:47Speaker 2: this crap that doesn't work. You know, Europe fell for
- 41:50Speaker 2: it and went all windmills and solar power. They did
- 41:53Speaker 2: it for about a year and then about a year
- 41:55Speaker 2: ago had to start dismantling at all. It doesn't work.
- 41:58Speaker 2: It doesn't provide enough electricity. It also creates its own
- 42:02Speaker 2: environmental nightmares. It doesn't work. So they're taking it all down.
- 42:06Speaker 2: Coal plants, we need them. If you have an electric car,
- 42:11Speaker 2: it runs off coal. Where do you think electricity comes from.
- 42:14Speaker 2: You need coal plants to get electricity. So, but the
- 42:18Speaker 2: trick is to make them cleaner and better. China, that's
- 42:22Speaker 2: all they do is build coal plants. As the president China.
- 42:25Speaker 3: By the way, last year built fifty two coal plants.
- 42:29Speaker 3: They built about two windmills.
- 42:32Speaker 4: You know.
- 42:32Speaker 3: The only time they build a windmill is when they're
- 42:34Speaker 3: trying to sell them to stupid people from the United States,
- 42:38Speaker 3: the suckers and by the way, and all over Europe.
- 42:42Speaker 3: They sell the windmills, but they don't use them by
- 42:44Speaker 3: wonder why.
- 42:45Speaker 2: Yeah, Europe has gotten out of the windmill business. They
- 42:47Speaker 2: tried it. It doesn't work. But we're gonna have coal here.
- 42:50Speaker 3: As a result of the seven hundred million dollar investment
- 42:54Speaker 3: that I'm announcing today, we will protect fourteen coal plants
- 42:58Speaker 3: and forty two coal to tremendous number, and build two
- 43:04Speaker 3: new call plants and one massive new export terminal because
- 43:08Speaker 3: we're exporting cod.
- 43:09Speaker 2: Yeah. And again, without the coal, you have no electricity.
- 43:12Speaker 2: If you have an electric car, it's running off coal.
- 43:15Speaker 2: That's where you get electricity from. So they call it
- 43:18Speaker 2: electric car. They just call it a coal car. Hey, La,
- 43:22Speaker 2: they're still counting the votes. It looks like Karen Bass
- 43:29Speaker 2: in the votes that are in with the winner. But
- 43:32Speaker 2: they're counting votes and it's La. American Idol can count
- 43:36Speaker 2: the votes in thirty seconds, and it's more votes than
- 43:39Speaker 2: they have in California. But in California, the well, listen.
- 43:43Speaker 2: It takes a long time to cheat, takes a long
- 43:45Speaker 2: time to rig something. So that's why they're gonna, I'll
- 43:49Speaker 2: bet you. In the end, Pratt makes the makes the cut,
- 43:52Speaker 2: which means it's him and Karen Bass. Now, she is
- 43:56Speaker 2: not very bright. She's the world's worst debater. If there's
- 43:59Speaker 2: no time prompter, she says, know what the hell she's
- 44:02Speaker 2: doing so that's why Pratt is challenging her to debates.
- 44:05Speaker 2: She won't do it, but he keeps challenging.
- 44:08Speaker 3: We can do debates every Friday if she would like,
- 44:10Speaker 3: because this actually became my most favorite thing to do.
- 44:13Speaker 8: So yes, as many debates as Mayor of vas would like.
- 44:17Speaker 2: Yeah, don't count on that. Hey, speaking of Iran, price
- 44:21Speaker 2: of oil is down about fifteen dollars a barrel. Yeah,
- 44:25Speaker 2: fifteen dollars a barrel since about a week ago. You know,
- 44:28Speaker 2: when it goes up two dollars, it's the lead story
- 44:31Speaker 2: on the nightly news. If it goes down fifteen dollars,
- 44:35Speaker 2: they don't mention it. It's not even on the news.
- 44:37Speaker 2: They never ever ever mentioned it. Hey. You know Mom
- 44:40Speaker 2: Donnie and always talk about housing. Crazy mayor, Mom Donnie.
- 44:46Speaker 2: Tracy Towers. That's a big complex, Mitchell Lama Development. You know,
- 44:51Speaker 2: government run huge housing complex up there in the Bronx.
- 44:57Speaker 2: Residents of Tracy Towers were told Wednesday during the tenant meeting.
- 45:02Speaker 2: Now listen to this. This is Mom Donnie. Tenants were
- 45:05Speaker 2: told their rents would go up thirty one percent over
- 45:10Speaker 2: the next four years. Their rents would go up thirty
- 45:14Speaker 2: one percent over the next four years, absolutely ridiculous. Residents
- 45:20Speaker 2: obviously up in arms. It'll be a huge Just next year,
- 45:24Speaker 2: it'll be a fifteen percent increase. Who gets a fifteen
- 45:28Speaker 2: percent rent increase? Well, anybody's dealing with Mom Donnie. So
- 45:32Speaker 2: this is Mom Donnie's idea of affordable housing, massive rent increases. Hey,
- 45:40Speaker 2: the Baseball commissioner wants two more teams. He wants expansion,
- 45:44Speaker 2: he wants two more major league teams. Do we really
- 45:46Speaker 2: need two more major league teams? And who would they be?
- 45:51Speaker 2: Sacramento is making the case. Sacramento claims it's the largest
- 45:56Speaker 2: US market that does not have a major League Baseball team.
- 46:01Speaker 2: So Sacramento, what else Nashville could And Nashville's become like
- 46:07Speaker 2: the biggest, hottest, booming city that could get a team.
- 46:12Speaker 2: Tampa already has a team. You never know, but it's
- 46:17Speaker 2: too many baseball teams. You know, you go back into
- 46:20Speaker 2: good old days. It was like ten teams in each league,
- 46:24Speaker 2: and if you were a player, you were facing like
- 46:27Speaker 2: the best of the best. But when you expand that
- 46:29Speaker 2: to twenty teams, it dilutes it. You're bringing up more
- 46:33Speaker 2: people from the minor leagues. You're losing a little bit
- 46:36Speaker 2: of the quality there. It's not quite the same. Hey,
- 46:40Speaker 2: do you know about this? The New York State legislature,
- 46:44Speaker 2: which is all woke, crazy left wing, they just passed
- 46:48Speaker 2: a new bill for anything doing with the state child custody,
- 46:53Speaker 2: parental laws, any state business. Not allowed to use the
- 46:57Speaker 2: word mother or father. Not allowed to say mother or father.
- 47:02Speaker 2: You have to use gender neutral terms. You can't say mother,
- 47:07Speaker 2: You have to say gestating parent. That hell, does that
- 47:11Speaker 2: mean you have this for father? You have to say
- 47:14Speaker 2: the non gestating parent. Now this is for government business,
- 47:20Speaker 2: but these are these woke left wing kooks. In other words,
- 47:24Speaker 2: if you run into somebody and there's an older woman
- 47:26Speaker 2: with them, you can't say, is this your mother? You
- 47:29Speaker 2: have to say who is this your ges stating parent?
- 47:32Speaker 2: And every year you got to send a happy gestating
- 47:36Speaker 2: parent card instead of a Mother's Day card. It's pretty
- 47:40Speaker 2: pretty ridiculous. And you can't curse by saying you mother blanker.
- 47:44Speaker 2: You have to say you gestating parent blanker. Democrats love this,
- 47:51Speaker 2: they said they felt proud of doing this. They were
- 47:54Speaker 2: really thrilled. It's New York State. They're crazy. It's the
- 47:59Speaker 2: Senate and the Assembly. Hey, it's going to be the
- 48:01Speaker 2: two hundred and fiftieth birthday of America. They'll be tremendous celebrations.
- 48:05Speaker 2: You know, liberals, Democrats, they don't like Fourth of July.
- 48:11Speaker 2: It's a bad day for them. They don't like it.
- 48:14Speaker 2: They don't like hot dogs and picnics and flags and fireworks.
- 48:18Speaker 2: That's you know. These Democrats they may maybe they love
- 48:22Speaker 2: their country, but they don't like their country. They don't
- 48:24Speaker 2: like Friday night football, they don't like Fourth of July.
- 48:28Speaker 2: They don't like all this stuff. So this year it's
- 48:30Speaker 2: going to be bigger than ever. Two hundred and fiftieth
- 48:32Speaker 2: Birthday of America. It's going to be huge. So these
- 48:38Speaker 2: survey survey democrats about this. Are they proud about this
- 48:42Speaker 2: two hundred and fiftieth birthday among Democrats eighteen percent, that's it,
- 48:48Speaker 2: just eighteen percent. So they were proud. Republicans sixty eight percent,
- 48:52Speaker 2: So they felt proud. Democrats not happy about this. It's
- 48:56Speaker 2: going to be a bad time for them. Fireworks and
- 48:59Speaker 2: every thing.
- 49:00Speaker 4: Everywhere.
- 49:00Speaker 2: You're gonna see them whining and complaining about everything. Hey,
- 49:03Speaker 2: we'll take some calls. Next eight hundred three two one
- 49:07Speaker 2: zero seven ten is the number eight hundred three two
- 49:10Speaker 2: one zero seven ten.
- 49:13Speaker 10: If you're listening to Mark on the iHeart Radio app,
- 49:15Speaker 10: save time and tap the preset button.
- 49:17Speaker 16: Now.
- 49:18Speaker 2: Now back to the Mark Simone Show on woor Well,
- 49:24Speaker 2: let's take some calls. Eight hundred three two one zero
- 49:28Speaker 2: seven ten is the number. Eight hundred three two one
- 49:32Speaker 2: zero seven ten. Let's go to David in Connecticut. David,
- 49:35Speaker 2: how you doing?
- 49:37Speaker 13: Yeah? Hey, Mark, you were talking about MLB.
- 49:40Speaker 1: They were gonna open or they're going to get a
- 49:43Speaker 1: team in Portland.
- 49:44Speaker 11: Because the chaos up there, they backed out.
- 49:46Speaker 2: Oh yeah, that's not Portland. You can't have a team
- 49:49Speaker 2: in Portland. Not big enough for a baseball team? How
- 49:53Speaker 2: about Hartford?
- 49:53Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 49:54Speaker 4: I'm just.
- 49:56Speaker 12: I'm just telling you what I what I've read.
- 49:59Speaker 13: Yeah, big San Francisco Giants fan there is I love baseball,
- 50:03Speaker 13: all right?
- 50:03Speaker 2: Yeah? Have no Portland snow. There's not enough people in
- 50:05Speaker 2: Portland and it doesn't work the Portland Lobsters. It's what
- 50:10Speaker 2: kind of team is that? Anyway? Thanks for calling. Let's
- 50:13Speaker 2: go to Joe Elmwood Park. Joe, how you doing?
- 50:16Speaker 9: How you doing? Mark?
- 50:17Speaker 2: Good morning?
- 50:18Speaker 5: Uh?
- 50:18Speaker 3: We were warned by Rush Limbaugh and Bob Grant that
- 50:22Speaker 3: they were going to go and ivanheimus that they were
- 50:24Speaker 3: going to go too far with the woke stuff.
- 50:26Speaker 2: We were warned, well you could even Paul Harvey wanted
- 50:30Speaker 2: that in the sixties. But yeah, well President Trump always
- 50:34Speaker 2: says that that they they always go too far, they
- 50:38Speaker 2: always go too far. So yeah, it's a cycle. It'll end,
- 50:42Speaker 2: it'll end pretty soon. Thanks for colling. Let's go to
- 50:44Speaker 2: Bob in Montvale, New Jersey. Bob, how you doing.
- 50:49Speaker 4: I'm doing great, Mark, thanks for taking my call.
- 50:51Speaker 19: No, great, This climate thing isn't over because the law
- 50:59Speaker 19: is that Cuomo's sign that like kicking in that is
- 51:03Speaker 19: just going to make things worse unless Bruce Blakeman can
- 51:06Speaker 19: reverse the.
- 51:07Speaker 4: Law of New York.
- 51:09Speaker 2: Yeah, well you're right.
- 51:10Speaker 19: Now, Donald Trump can say what you want, but there's
- 51:13Speaker 19: New York law that's like in place.
- 51:16Speaker 4: Unfortunately.
- 51:17Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know if you heard, there's forty in
- 51:19Speaker 2: other states. What he's talking about could help with the
- 51:21Speaker 2: other states. New York, you're right, is controlled by about
- 51:24Speaker 2: a bunch of left wing cooks. And Cuomo was the
- 51:26Speaker 2: most left wing guy, the most radical left wing. He's
- 51:30Speaker 2: the guy that closed the Indian Point. He banned fracking.
- 51:33Speaker 2: You're right, we need Bruce Blakeman. He can undo that stuff.
- 51:36Speaker 2: You know, when Cuomo closed Indian Point, there was no
- 51:40Speaker 2: reason to. It's the cleanest energy we got nuclear energy,
- 51:43Speaker 2: and most countries are twenty five percent nuclear energy. But
- 51:47Speaker 2: when Cuomo closed Indian Point, that was twenty five percent
- 51:50Speaker 2: of our electricity. That's why your electric bill went crazy.
- 51:54Speaker 2: We lost a lot of our energy. That's why your
- 51:56Speaker 2: electric bill is all of a sudden, a double triple
- 51:59Speaker 2: what it used to be thanks to Cuomo. Let's go
- 52:02Speaker 2: to Tony in Long Island. Tony, how you doing?
- 52:04Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 52:04Speaker 20: How you doing there?
- 52:05Speaker 1: Mark?
- 52:06Speaker 2: Good?
- 52:08Speaker 20: Hello?
- 52:08Speaker 11: Yeah?
- 52:09Speaker 4: Go ahead?
- 52:10Speaker 20: How hell?
- 52:11Speaker 15: No?
- 52:11Speaker 20: I have a question here. I was thinking about wouldn't
- 52:17Speaker 20: it be a good idea? I'm hoping Bruce Blakeman does
- 52:20Speaker 20: get in. But even if he does get in, you
- 52:24Speaker 20: got that entire legislature up there in Albany that are
- 52:28Speaker 20: going to go in a totally different times.
- 52:29Speaker 2: But he's running NASA County with Democrats and the legislature.
- 52:32Speaker 2: He's good at dealing with that. But what's the idea?
- 52:35Speaker 20: Hopefully? But I was also contemplating, wouldn't it be a
- 52:38Speaker 20: good idea? I would think for no now to become
- 52:41Speaker 20: its own state.
- 52:43Speaker 4: No, no, no.
- 52:46Speaker 20: Sure, I would think so that we're not affiliated with
- 52:50Speaker 20: New York City anymore.
- 52:51Speaker 2: Well, but the Long Island, it's got to be part
- 52:54Speaker 2: of New York. It's got to be part of everybody's.
- 52:57Speaker 20: The only other borough and uh in New York that's
- 53:01Speaker 20: got some common sense. It's start in island.
- 53:04Speaker 2: Yeah, where are you in Long Island?
- 53:06Speaker 20: I'm over here in Brentwood.
- 53:07Speaker 2: Oh okay, yeah, Bred County.
- 53:12Speaker 20: Right, means that no matter what direction we go, I
- 53:14Speaker 20: would think that if New York or Long Island became
- 53:18Speaker 20: its own saying when you think about it, Rhode Island
- 53:20Speaker 20: is actually smaller than Long Island.
- 53:24Speaker 2: Yeah, Nassau County is like three million people. It's bigger
- 53:26Speaker 2: than a lot of states. Yeah, renal, Rhode Island is tiny,
- 53:29Speaker 2: but it's a it's a different way you get Long Island.
- 53:31Speaker 2: You got to be part of New York.
- 53:33Speaker 20: I think people, you know, the way I look at it,
- 53:36Speaker 20: seems like you got more people on the on Long
- 53:39Speaker 20: Island that's got a lot more common sense, well than
- 53:42Speaker 20: the than the New York City vicinity there, you know
- 53:45Speaker 20: what I mean.
- 53:46Speaker 2: Yeah, No, they're pretty good, Well, they're pretty smart. Uh,
- 53:50Speaker 2: now you can't. You got you got to remain part
- 53:52Speaker 2: of New York. We need you as part of New York.
- 53:54Speaker 2: Let's go to uh, Jerry and Greenwich. Jerry, how you doing.
- 53:58Speaker 9: I'm doing well? Thank you, Mark.
- 54:00Speaker 1: Uh.
- 54:00Speaker 9: Every time I look at Bernard Sanders and on television,
- 54:04Speaker 9: he looks like a crazy maniac because he should be committed.
- 54:08Speaker 9: You know, he's very dangerous to America, he said, like
- 54:12Speaker 9: the New York's time.
- 54:14Speaker 2: Uh, nobody listens to him. He's not relevant enough to
- 54:18Speaker 2: be dangerous, but that's his act, acting like a crazy man.
- 54:21Speaker 9: Well, he's very influential to people, I think, you know, yeah,
- 54:25Speaker 9: not really, I'm telling you. Look.
- 54:28Speaker 2: Yeah, he looks like a mad professor, like a mad scientist,
- 54:31Speaker 2: and he always you can never understand what he's trying
- 54:34Speaker 2: to say.
- 54:35Speaker 9: He's a bad dude. He's really bad, you know.
- 54:38Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, he's a yeah. No, he's just the
- 54:41Speaker 2: kind of a silly guy. You know, there's the richest
- 54:44Speaker 2: ten percent of the twelve percent of the richest two percent.
- 54:48Speaker 2: He just likes to yell and scream. Let's go to Uh,
- 54:50Speaker 2: Richard and Valley Stream. Richard, how you doing?
- 54:54Speaker 13: Hell?
- 54:54Speaker 8: I just want to comment on what you said before
- 54:56Speaker 8: about baseball expanding, and you said, got the quality of
- 54:59Speaker 8: player going down. I really don't want two more teams either.
- 55:02Speaker 8: But the fact is they may double the number of teams,
- 55:05Speaker 8: but the population are more than doubled. And when you
- 55:07Speaker 8: consider that now they have all the black players, which
- 55:10Speaker 8: they never give away.
- 55:11Speaker 2: That's the population of America has doubled. But what Americans
- 55:14Speaker 2: are playing, we get they all come from the Dominican
- 55:16Speaker 2: Republic or someplace.
- 55:16Speaker 8: Okay, well they don't have their name in parking today
- 55:19Speaker 8: or Japan or any place.
- 55:23Speaker 2: Yeah, we're importing players now from.
- 55:25Speaker 8: No, that's not saying. You know, the competition harder now
- 55:28Speaker 8: to get into their major leagues.
- 55:31Speaker 2: Well, yeah, I guess you're right. You may be right. Yeah,
- 55:33Speaker 2: you know, in good old days, we're all American players.
- 55:35Speaker 2: You know, the manager go out to the mound, talk
- 55:38Speaker 2: to the picture, take them out.
- 55:39Speaker 1: You know.
- 55:40Speaker 2: The managers have told me now when they go out
- 55:41Speaker 2: to the mound, you need like an interpreter with you.
- 55:43Speaker 2: The guy doesn't speak English. It's very tough either it
- 55:46Speaker 2: only speaks Spanish or Japanese or something like that. Two
- 55:51Speaker 2: more teams, I don't know. Hey, you could have a
- 55:54Speaker 2: Long Island team. That's a huge population. Population of Long Island.
- 56:00Speaker 2: There's more than a lot of states. It's a lot
- 56:03Speaker 2: more than the Sacramento wants a team. Yeah, I know
- 56:05Speaker 2: you could say the Mets of the Long Island team,
- 56:07Speaker 2: but you could have an actual Long Island team. But
- 56:09Speaker 2: then you'd have to put it somewhere. Where would you
- 56:11Speaker 2: put it in Long Island? What's a big city in
- 56:14Speaker 2: Long is I don't know, Garden City and now Huntington
- 56:19Speaker 2: somewhere in Long Island? A major league team. Hey, when
- 56:22Speaker 2: we come back, we like to bring you the smartest
- 56:24Speaker 2: people around. Charles Payne. Fox Business Network does the show
- 56:28Speaker 2: making money. People have made a lot of money watching
- 56:31Speaker 2: Charles Payin. Brilliant guy. We'll talk to him about lots
- 56:34Speaker 2: of things. Should you buy that SpaceX ipo? Everybody's buzzing,
- 56:37Speaker 2: but we'll get to that and a whole lot more
- 56:39Speaker 2: coming up on seven to ten wor Mark Simons on
- 56:44Speaker 2: wor Well, Hey, we're looking for Charles Payne. He'll turn
- 56:52Speaker 2: up the great Charles Payin from Fox Business. We'll see
- 56:56Speaker 2: if we can find him. And a lot of people
- 56:58Speaker 2: going after mom Donnie crazy. You know you had that
- 57:01Speaker 2: horrible anti semitic attack on the subway. I mean really ugly,
- 57:05Speaker 2: like a maniac, screaming about Jews are eating our kids
- 57:08Speaker 2: and then really seriously attacked a woman. It was really awful.
- 57:14Speaker 2: There was video of it that went viral. It's all
- 57:16Speaker 2: over the place, but the mayor silence, nothing, nothing, no leadership.
- 57:23Speaker 2: Normally an attack like that that was all over the news,
- 57:26Speaker 2: and when so viral, a mayor would be going crazy
- 57:30Speaker 2: talking about it, trying to show some leadership. Oh, we
- 57:33Speaker 2: found the great Charles Pain. Now you got to watch
- 57:36Speaker 2: him every day. The show's called Making Money. You will
- 57:39Speaker 2: make a lot of money if you watch this. Also,
- 57:41Speaker 2: get Charles Payne's books, very important to get his books
- 57:46Speaker 2: and make sure you follow him on Twitter and all
- 57:49Speaker 2: of that. And he's with us now, Charles Pain, how
- 57:51Speaker 2: you doing?
- 57:53Speaker 1: I am doing great man? How are you?
- 57:55Speaker 2: I'm good? Which is the latest book?
- 57:56Speaker 1: Make the latest book, Breakaball Unbreakable Investor? And I just
- 58:04Speaker 1: finished another book and hopefully I can come on in
- 58:07Speaker 1: a month and talk to you about it.
- 58:08Speaker 2: You can come on every month and talk We love
- 58:10Speaker 2: it and people, do you still do the newsletter every day?
- 58:15Speaker 2: That was great?
- 58:16Speaker 1: Absolutely? I did the market commentary every day at w
- 58:19Speaker 1: street dot com.
- 58:20Speaker 2: Yeah, I know, people make a lot of money. Just
- 58:22Speaker 2: subscribe w street dot com. Uh, it's great. Hey, everybody's
- 58:27Speaker 2: talking about this SpaceX ipo. They're all, you know, ginned
- 58:30Speaker 2: up about what. I got to get in on this.
- 58:32Speaker 2: What's the real deal?
- 58:36Speaker 1: Mark? You're going in and out a little bit?
- 58:38Speaker 2: Oh, I said, can you hear me now? The SpaceX
- 58:40Speaker 2: I can SpaceX ipo. Everybody's all getting all crazed over it.
- 58:44Speaker 2: I got to get in on that. What's the real deal?
- 58:47Speaker 1: Well, on one hand, it is. It is something we've
- 58:50Speaker 1: never seen before. You know, this company is going to
- 58:54Speaker 1: go public family near two trillion dollar evaluation as soon
- 58:58Speaker 1: as they started training. It might end up to three
- 59:00Speaker 1: trillion dollar valuation. It's a homegrown industry out of something
- 59:05Speaker 1: that almost the ashes. Right, we've kind of giving up
- 59:07Speaker 1: on the whole space thing, NASA falling apart, and then
- 59:11Speaker 1: you have someone like elam Musk who resurrects, and then
- 59:14Speaker 1: of course it turns out that the space is our future.
- 59:18Speaker 1: You know, I remember when President Trump was in office
- 59:20Speaker 1: the first term, he said we're gonna have a space force,
- 59:23Speaker 1: and everyone laughed at him. Now, it's vital because everything
- 59:26Speaker 1: we have is in the so called clouds. But now
- 59:28Speaker 1: it's even more vital because there's so many things we
- 59:31Speaker 1: can do in space and orbit and ultimately even the Moon.
- 59:34Speaker 1: So it's amazing from that point of view. The only
- 59:37Speaker 1: real for me controversy is how much do you pay
- 59:41Speaker 1: for it? Now? You know what I mean. It's one
- 59:43Speaker 1: of those things where it's an enormous undertaking. It's going
- 59:48Speaker 1: to have all the hype. It's probably going to come
- 59:50Speaker 1: out the gate like a rocket, no pun intended, well
- 59:52Speaker 1: maybe a little pun intended, and you know, I'm not
- 59:55Speaker 1: going to chase it. But at some point I plan
- 59:58Speaker 1: on owning SpaceX.
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: But like when Elon Musk did Tessa, that stock had
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: its ups and downs. There was always times where you
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: could get in, you didn't have to get out at
- 1:00:07Speaker 2: the beginning. And where is the revenue come from SpaceX.
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: It's going to come from three areas right now, it's
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: coming from Starlink, Yeah, and that has enormous upside potential
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: to rival. Like the major telephone companies around the world,
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: they make money from the launches themselves, but that's going
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: to end up being the smallest part of the business ironically,
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: and AI data centers and orbit data centers on the
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: moon AI transmissions. So they say that the total what
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: they call total addressable market TAM is twenty eight point
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: five trillion dollars.
- 1:00:48Speaker 7: Yeah, all right, Well, who am I to tell him?
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: The guy's worth a couple one hundred billions?
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: No, no, no, he'll be a trillionaire.
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: In a week, what a week?
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: A week from now when our company goes public, a
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: week whenever they go public, he will be a trillionaire.
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: So if he had a hole in his pants pocket
- 1:01:14Speaker 2: and nine hundred billion fell out, it wouldn't make much
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: of a difference.
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: I'm taking every seat cushion he sits on.
- 1:01:21Speaker 7: That's all I can tell you. That's my next gig,
- 1:01:24Speaker 7: a trillionaire. So hey, with AI, obviously you need these
- 1:01:28Speaker 7: data centers. You got to have the data centers. But
- 1:01:30Speaker 7: everywhere you look, there's a town banning data centers, there's
- 1:01:33Speaker 7: a state that wants to ban it. How's that flight
- 1:01:36Speaker 7: going to work out?
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: Oh my goodness, it is so crazy. Now we did
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: and that was so crazy about this is we had
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: the same thing with natural gas and tracking and the
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: scare tactics and the documentary. Someone turns on the Foston
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: and fire comes out of it, and right now we're
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: energy independent, you know. And if it wasn't for that,
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: you know, people think gasoline is expensive at for bucks,
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: Try ten, try twelve, if we didn't have the fracking miracle.
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: And so it's just one of these weird scare attacks. Honestly,
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: a lot of the money for it is coming from China.
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: China's back in East Sauce. And when I look at
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: Bernie Sanders put in through a bill, I'm like, well,
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: you know who's back in Bernie Sanders on this thing.
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: China doesn't want us. We have a massive lead on
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: them in Ai. China knows that this is their last
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: chance to try to catch up with America. They've got
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: amazing economic problems. They have a birth rate problem. They
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: have real instability, really instability that you'll never hear about
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: in the news. They need to find a way to
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: catch us on this on Ai. And part of their
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: plan is sort of like Tokyo Rose or any of
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: this stuff you know that people ever use in the past,
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: that you know to harm us. The propaganda, I mean,
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: it's just and but folks are falling for it. They're
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: like the water well, you know what, Ammans use a
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: million times more water than data centers. Of courses use
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: a million times more water than data centers. Yeah, data
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: centers use water. But all of that stuff is going
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: to be addressed. And the most important thing is that
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: this is this is something that this is the part
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: of the key part of the fourth Industrial Revolution. We
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: must stay number one. That there's no other alternative than
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: us staying number one.
- 1:03:15Speaker 2: Yeah, but a data center does use a tremendous amount
- 1:03:18Speaker 2: of electricity, doesn't it.
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: They use electricity. One of the things they're being forced
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: to do is, you know, to provide their own electricity.
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: And here's the thing. Mark in five years, if you
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: live near a data center, your electric bill is going
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: to go down down, because all they all have to
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: have their own electricity, they have to have their own
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: power sources. And so like, you know, they cut a
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: deal like with for instance, three Mile Island. They're firing
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: three mile Island backup. Believing or not. They're working on
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: things called small modular reactors. Yeah, there's all kinds of
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: other things out there, but they'll generate enough electricity to
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: actually be able to donate to the local areas. So
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: five teen years from now, not only the jobs in
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: the prosperity associated with data centers, but I'm saying you'll
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: have a lower electric bill.
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: Wow. Yeah, they're working on these small, small nuclear reactors
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: and stuff like that. But they're perfectly safe, right, there's
- 1:04:10Speaker 2: nothing to worry about that.
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: Well, you know, I'm pretty sure they're perfectly safe. You know,
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: it's nothing as unfollowable, I guess, but I think there'll be.
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: It's safe. Like it's sort of like thinking about when
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: we first had airplanes, right, and as the airline industry
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: took off, and people like, well, what happens when they crash?
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: You know, God, you know, listen, God, we're lucky that
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: you know, and you know, thank thank goodness that you know,
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: it's rare considering at this very moment how many planes
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: are in the air, it's extraordinarily rare. And I don't
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: think anything happens, but if anything does, it would be
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: really unique, really rare. Uh and and and you know,
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: not enough to dissuade us from what with the benefits
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: that we get from this, including prosperity and security.
- 1:04:54Speaker 2: Well, hey, child's paint, you uhould watch them every day.
- 1:04:57Speaker 2: Fox Business network making money every day two o'clock. Great show. Uh, well,
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: these states like New York and New Jersey, they keep
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: losing businesses. Did New Jersey just chase Samsung out of there? What?
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: How crazy can these people be?
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: And it's nuts, Mark, I drive by that building every day,
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: and I drove by it today. This one loan car there.
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: I don't know if it broke down, they won't move it.
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: It's a beautiful building. It's a wonderful looking campus. It's
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: like it. By the way, Samsung is the hottest company
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: in the whole world right now, the hottest company in
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: the whole world. Really and yeah, yeah, well they make
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: they make these memory chips for the AI that that
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: just that there's such demand. I think that stock is
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: up like five thousand percent in the last year. Uh.
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: It is the hottest company in the entire world. It's
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: so crazy. In Korea, they're going so nuts. You got
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: fifty million people, they've got one hundred million brokerage accounts.
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: People are selling their life insurance policies. Everyone is just
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: like it's just an economic miracle for them. Uh. And
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: so yeah, for the New Yorker, like I get out
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: of here, we don't need you more than eleven hundred.
- 1:06:03Speaker 2: Dubs up five percent? You got another one of those
- 1:06:07Speaker 2: stocks we can buy or we got to watch the
- 1:06:11Speaker 2: show to get it?
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: No, you cut out again. I'm sorry.
- 1:06:15Speaker 2: Oh I was up five thousand percent. Do you have
- 1:06:18Speaker 2: another one of those kind of stocks that we can buy?
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: Yeah, there's a lot. We've had our share with sand Disc, Micron.
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: We've had some stocks that it's just that are life changing,
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: that have been absolutely life changing.
- 1:06:28Speaker 4: Wow.
- 1:06:29Speaker 2: Well, everybody watched Charles Payne making money. It's two o'clock
- 1:06:32Speaker 2: every weekday, Fox Business Network. Get his newsletter wstreet dot com.
- 1:06:38Speaker 2: You can make a lot of money with that. Just
- 1:06:39Speaker 2: go sign up at w street dot com. And the

- 1:06:49Speaker 1: month from now come, I'm picking up on your offer
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: and I'm gonna unveil the next one because the next
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: book is focused on making a lot of money. Like before,
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: I was like, hey, let's beat the market.
- 1:06:58Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: Now, I really believe of the next three to five years,
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: maybe ten years, there are gonna be enough opportunities for
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: people to make certain kind of investments that can go
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: up one hundred percent to one thousand percent. Wow, this
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: is not an anomaly, but there's a way to do it.
- 1:07:12Speaker 2: Okay, right fast, because we want this book. We'll have
- 1:07:17Speaker 2: you back and we'll be watching today two o'clock Fox

- 1:07:29Speaker 2: lot of money watching this guy every day, real good stuff. Hey,
- 1:07:32Speaker 2: I don't forget. At noon it's Buck and Clay. They
- 1:07:35Speaker 2: do a really good show every day from noon to three.
- 1:07:38Speaker 2: Then at three o'clock you got the most listened to
- 1:07:40Speaker 2: radio show in America. Sawn Hannity got Jesse Kelly. At six,
- 1:07:46Speaker 2: you got Curtis. He's back every morning with Larry Mente
- 1:07:52Speaker 2: six to ten. Don't forget Jimmy Fayla every weeknight and
- 1:07:55Speaker 2: not really funny show nine to midnight. I'm here ten
- 1:07:58Speaker 2: to noon.
- 1:07:59Speaker 4: Hey.
- 1:07:59Speaker 2: It also if you can't listen to the show live,

- 1:08:13Speaker 2: bonus segment on the weekends, stuff that wasn't on the air,
- 1:08:17Speaker 2: and you can get all of that at seven ten
- 1:08:20Speaker 2: wor dot com.
- 1:08:22Speaker 6: Mister New York, Mark Simon, I'm a Voice of New
- 1:08:25Speaker 6: York seven ten WR.
- 1:08:28Speaker 2: Well, Hey, the President is heading to Lake later tonight,
- 1:08:34Speaker 2: will head to Bedminster, New Jersey, actually going to Wisconsin
- 1:08:37Speaker 2: making the stop. But then he's gonna for the first
- 1:08:39Speaker 2: time in a long time, spend the weekend at Bedminster,
- 1:08:43Speaker 2: New Jersey, where he has his golf club. So he'll
- 1:08:45Speaker 2: be there this weekend. Now Monday night, he's supposed to be.
- 1:08:48Speaker 2: He will be at Madison Square Garden for the Knicks
- 1:08:51Speaker 2: game fans.
- 1:08:53Speaker 3: For a long time. And I'm also a Jim Dolan fan.
- 1:08:56Speaker 3: He said, nice guy. Okay, he's been a long time
- 1:08:59Speaker 3: wanting to win, and he's he's a competitive guy and
- 1:09:01Speaker 3: he's got a team that's amazing.
- 1:09:03Speaker 4: Wow.
- 1:09:04Speaker 2: So yeah, first time ever a president will attend an
- 1:09:08Speaker 2: NBA Championship. He'll be there in the owner suite, Dolan's
- 1:09:15Speaker 2: luxury suite. Mom Donnie will be there, maybe like last
- 1:09:18Speaker 2: time he went, sitting in the nosebleed section but President
- 1:09:22Speaker 2: Trump Bedminster this weekend and he's going to stay there Monday,
- 1:09:26Speaker 2: so he'll be like a three day weekend. He'll be
- 1:09:28Speaker 2: at Bedminster all day Monday, and then from there he'll
- 1:09:30Speaker 2: hand it head into the city to I probably a
- 1:09:35Speaker 2: most likely helicopter to the Wall Street Heliport or the
- 1:09:39Speaker 2: East Side. And then so it's gonna be a traffic
- 1:09:41Speaker 2: nightmare in the evening as he goes to Madison Square
- 1:09:45Speaker 2: Garden and then leaves, there will be a lot of traffic.
- 1:09:48Speaker 2: He'll be back Monday ten to noon. Have a great weekend,
- 1:09:52Speaker 2: Mark Simone here on seven to ten WR
