- 0:03Speaker 1: What's up and welcome. This is the Rogue Recap, and
- 0:07Speaker 1: you are here with your host, Linda McLaughlin. She is pissed, off, outraged,
- 0:12Speaker 1: and has zero patience with what seems to be an
- 0:15Speaker 1: epidemic of entitlement and stupidity. Here we talk about all
- 0:20Speaker 1: the things the other shows just don't or won't touch.
- 0:24Speaker 1: Make sure to like and subscribe to our podcast so
- 0:26Speaker 1: you never miss an episode.
- 0:28Speaker 2: Well, hey, everybody, and welcome to December. I hope everybody
- 0:32Speaker 2: had an amazing holiday Thanksgiving and got a little time
- 0:38Speaker 2: to be with their families. I know I did. I
- 0:41Speaker 2: really enjoyed it. We kept it small and it was
- 0:43Speaker 2: just our immediate family and it was actually really really nice.
- 0:47Speaker 2: So I hope that you guys were able to get
- 0:50Speaker 2: some time to do that too. I am Linda McLaughlin
- 0:53Speaker 2: for those of you who may be joining for the
- 0:54Speaker 2: first time, and this is the Rogue Recap where we
- 0:58Speaker 2: talk about the story that are probably not getting a
- 1:02Speaker 2: ton of coverage everywhere else, so we're going to cover
- 1:04Speaker 2: them a little bit here. That's one of the reasons
- 1:07Speaker 2: why on this show we're trying to give you news
- 1:09Speaker 2: that you can't get anywhere else, and one of those things.
- 1:13Speaker 2: That's what's happening with our socialist mayor in Seattle. I
- 1:17Speaker 2: don't know if you guys heard about this, but she's
- 1:21Speaker 2: appointed this anti Israel, anti America, I hate cops individual Jesse.
- 1:30Speaker 2: I don't even know how to say his last name,
- 1:31Speaker 2: Hago Pian I mean, doesn't really matter. Idiot number three,
- 1:34Speaker 2: who cares. But this guy is all about rethinking schools
- 1:38Speaker 2: and he was in the Black Lives Matter, you know, movement,
- 1:41Speaker 2: and it's all about getting rid of the SROs, the
- 1:44Speaker 2: school resource officers, and understanding and understanding and reforming police
- 1:51Speaker 2: and schools and police activity and reformative justice and all
- 1:55Speaker 2: this other bullshit that does absolutely nothing to help anybody
- 2:01Speaker 2: get through their day to day lives in violent public
- 2:04Speaker 2: schools in some of the most terrible environments, particularly those
- 2:09Speaker 2: schools that you'll find in at risk communities and inner
- 2:12Speaker 2: city schools. You know, if you don't have those SRO officers,
- 2:15Speaker 2: it could be the difference between life and death for
- 2:18Speaker 2: a kid who is you know, part of gang violence,
- 2:22Speaker 2: or you know, kids who don't understand the severity of
- 2:24Speaker 2: the actions that they're taking in their teenage years because
- 2:27Speaker 2: they don't have good role models, but they have access
- 2:30Speaker 2: to weapons, and everybody thinks it's about guns, but it's
- 2:33Speaker 2: really not about guns. But this creep is all about,
- 2:36Speaker 2: you know, teaching Palestine and understanding that police departments are
- 2:41Speaker 2: white supremacist institutions. And I just, you know, I really
- 2:45Speaker 2: do struggle with the need to continue the victim mental state,
- 2:53Speaker 2: like these people do not have an identity, they do
- 2:56Speaker 2: not have a purpose unless we give them one. And
- 3:00Speaker 2: now we have all of these it's sort of strange
- 3:03Speaker 2: we have all of these, you know, white liberals going
- 3:08Speaker 2: out and saying that black and brown people are marginalized
- 3:13Speaker 2: because asking them for id or telling them that they
- 3:19Speaker 2: don't have to answer to police officers, or that they
- 3:23Speaker 2: do but only sometimes, and the rules don't apply to
- 3:27Speaker 2: them because they shouldn't be held accountable if they do
- 3:31Speaker 2: commit crimes. So that's why we shouldn't have accountability, and
- 3:34Speaker 2: there should be you know, cashless fail and all of
- 3:38Speaker 2: it is just one thing after another of not telling children, hey,
- 3:45Speaker 2: guess what if you act like an asshole, We're going
- 3:48Speaker 2: to arrest you. You whether you're black, white, or brown. If
- 3:51Speaker 2: you hurd another student, if you sell drugs on school grounds,
- 3:55Speaker 2: you know, when I was growing up, I went to
- 3:57Speaker 2: public school and it was incredibly diverse. There was actually
- 4:02Speaker 2: not one race over another that you know, it was
- 4:05Speaker 2: just all kinds. There was blacks and Hispanics and whites
- 4:09Speaker 2: and Asian and you know, we all kind of went
- 4:12Speaker 2: through our day just doing the best that we could
- 4:15Speaker 2: in school to get good grades and to get out
- 4:18Speaker 2: of wherever we came from, because a lot of us
- 4:20Speaker 2: came from backgrounds where we didn't have a lot of
- 4:23Speaker 2: money and we didn't have the best environments, and we
- 4:25Speaker 2: were like, oh, what can we do to better ourselves? Oh,
- 4:28Speaker 2: I know, get good grades and try to get the
- 4:30Speaker 2: hell out of here and do better for ourselves and
- 4:32Speaker 2: for our family. But it wasn't let's turn to violence,
- 4:36Speaker 2: let's turn to stealing. And especially a lot of these
- 4:39Speaker 2: cities like Seattle have so much trouble with vagrants, homelessness,
- 4:46Speaker 2: homeless veterans, people with mental health issues that are out
- 4:49Speaker 2: on the street because we've got a bunch of illegals
- 4:51Speaker 2: sitting in the facilities that really should be to help
- 4:54Speaker 2: those individuals. And then we've got a massive drug issue
- 4:58Speaker 2: because the same people that don't want to put a
- 5:00Speaker 2: stop to illegal immigration don't realize that open borders and
- 5:06Speaker 2: unchecked you know, cargo boats and all of these other
- 5:10Speaker 2: issues that we're having, whether it's at ports or points
- 5:13Speaker 2: of entry throughout our nation, are allowing feentanyl to come
- 5:16Speaker 2: in and it's killing an entire generation of individuals. Hundreds
- 5:21Speaker 2: of thousands of people are dying every single day from
- 5:25Speaker 2: drug overdoses, and not even some obviously, if you're doing
- 5:28Speaker 2: heroin or you're doing meth, you know things like this, Yeah,
- 5:31Speaker 2: you're going to be in a situation where you're going
- 5:34Speaker 2: to have a problem because those drugs, all it takes
- 5:37Speaker 2: is one bad mix, one bad hit, and you're done.
- 5:40Speaker 2: But there are people, you know, like college students, I
- 5:43Speaker 2: mean you hear it so often where they buy a
- 5:46Speaker 2: xanax or an adderall to stay awake and it's laced
- 5:50Speaker 2: and they die. And it happens every single day. And
- 5:54Speaker 2: this is my massive problem with these liberal democrat socialists.
- 5:58Speaker 2: And it frightens me that I even have to say
- 6:01Speaker 2: socialists in America and that that's a real thing. But
- 6:04Speaker 2: it is a real thing. These people they are at it.
- 6:08Speaker 2: They've got funding, they've got intention, and they are dumb.
- 6:13Speaker 2: And there's nothing worse than a really stupid person leading
- 6:16Speaker 2: a bunch of other really stupid people in a giant
- 6:19Speaker 2: circle full of money. And that's exactly what this is.
- 6:22Speaker 2: It's a lot of people who never really belong to anything,
- 6:26Speaker 2: and now they all belong to the same group of
- 6:28Speaker 2: never belonging, and they think that that makes them matter.
- 6:31Speaker 2: The issue is that they have funding. And when you
- 6:34Speaker 2: have funding, and you have people that provide you with weapons,
- 6:37Speaker 2: whether it be rocks, whether it be tear gas, whether
- 6:40Speaker 2: it be bats, whether it be knives, you know, masks
- 6:44Speaker 2: and signs, and hey, don't go to work today because
- 6:47Speaker 2: we're going to pay you double what you'd make in
- 6:48Speaker 2: an office to walk around in march and block, you know,
- 6:53Speaker 2: entire highways in major cities so that people can't get
- 6:56Speaker 2: to their jobs, their daycare, their kids' school, hospitals, de
- 7:00Speaker 2: livering babies, somebody's having a heart attack. I don't understand
- 7:03Speaker 2: how in a civil society this is allowed. You know,
- 7:07Speaker 2: I love Trump and I love the administration, but when
- 7:10Speaker 2: I see a socialist Seattle mayor putting people on her
- 7:15Speaker 2: transition team that are part of Antifa and bashing police
- 7:21Speaker 2: officers and school resource officers. Last time I checked Antifa
- 7:26Speaker 2: was just designated a domestic terrorist group, So I think
- 7:30Speaker 2: that this mayor there should be some sort of review
- 7:33Speaker 2: of her election. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure the
- 7:36Speaker 2: Seattle people put her in there because Seattle as woke
- 7:39Speaker 2: as a joke. I mean, these are some looney tunes
- 7:41Speaker 2: out there. There are some normal people, but they're few
- 7:43Speaker 2: and faw between, as is most cases with the really
- 7:46Speaker 2: blue cities. But I have to say, like, if you're
- 7:49Speaker 2: going to employ a domestic terrorist, you probably don't belong
- 7:54Speaker 2: in any position of power if your judgment is that weak.
- 7:57Speaker 2: So I don't really know all of the legal in announced,
- 8:00Speaker 2: but I would think that that would warrant a second look.
- 8:03Speaker 2: And what's sad about it is these are the same
- 8:07Speaker 2: people that while they're screaming that Trump and people who
- 8:11Speaker 2: support Trump and Republicans or capitalists or basically anybody who
- 8:16Speaker 2: likes to get up, get a shower and go to
- 8:17Speaker 2: work or fascist, these are the same people who say
- 8:22Speaker 2: you have to get vaccinated, all of your recyclables have
- 8:25Speaker 2: to be out in clear plastic bags, every house on
- 8:28Speaker 2: the block has to be hated white. You know, they're
- 8:31Speaker 2: like these really psychotic we have to follow the rules,
- 8:35Speaker 2: but only the rules we make, and the rules that
- 8:37Speaker 2: you make we don't have to follow because those rules
- 8:39Speaker 2: make sense only to rich white capitalists, and we don't
- 8:44Speaker 2: like that. So we want to do things where everything's
- 8:46Speaker 2: dirty and the streets are filled with crime, and they're
- 8:49Speaker 2: filled with homeless and everybody's fighting over you know, the scraps,
- 8:53Speaker 2: while we're getting massive funding and we're living in high
- 8:57Speaker 2: rises and we don't care about that. I mean, Tina
- 8:59Speaker 2: Kotech who who's out in Oregon. She's like the worst
- 9:03Speaker 2: because she's the one person that's constantly talking about all
- 9:06Speaker 2: of the things that you know, everybody has to do,
- 9:09Speaker 2: and we're gonna we're going to arrest ice and we're
- 9:11Speaker 2: going to fight back against the federal government. Meanwhile, she's
- 9:14Speaker 2: living in a mansion. Her entire home is gated, and
- 9:18Speaker 2: she has security walking with her. It's similar to like
- 9:22Speaker 2: the Jasmine crockets, right. You know, you look at these
- 9:25Speaker 2: people and they have everything they tell you not to have,
- 9:29Speaker 2: the aocs and the and the you know Elizabeth Warrens
- 9:33Speaker 2: and the Bernie Sanders on the private planes going from
- 9:36Speaker 2: place to place. You know, nothing is better than looking
- 9:38Speaker 2: at you know, the g twenty and everybody's over there
- 9:41Speaker 2: and it's like, oh, yes, we have to go to
- 9:43Speaker 2: the summit and we have to meet. But by the way,
- 9:46Speaker 2: we're going to cut down all these trees in the
- 9:48Speaker 2: rainforest because we can't land our you know, our big
- 9:52Speaker 2: beautiful planes. Nobody's paying attention to that, like that's a
- 9:56Speaker 2: real thing. They weren't able to fly their planes, and
- 10:00Speaker 2: so they chopped down a bunch of you know, trees
- 10:04Speaker 2: in the middle of the forest so that they could
- 10:06Speaker 2: land their planes at this G twenty summit. It's insanity.
- 10:12Speaker 2: And then they go to the summit and they say,
- 10:14Speaker 2: so listen, you know how we're going to save the planet.
- 10:16Speaker 2: Since we can't give up our planes, we need to
- 10:18Speaker 2: chop down trees. You guys are going to start wiping
- 10:20Speaker 2: your ass with your hands because toilet paper is the problem.
- 10:24Speaker 2: That's a real thing. That was one of the topics
- 10:27Speaker 2: discussed at the G twenty. We're not dealing in reality.
- 10:31Speaker 2: We're not dealing with people who think in ways that
- 10:34Speaker 2: are cohesive and structured and make sense. We're dealing with
- 10:39Speaker 2: people who literally, I feel like they get up in
- 10:41Speaker 2: the morning, they get on a zoom call and they're like, hey, guys,
- 10:44Speaker 2: what crazy shit could we say today that could make
- 10:47Speaker 2: everybody go, oh yeah, that's good. Let's just hit them
- 10:51Speaker 2: out of the box with this, because there's no rational
- 10:54Speaker 2: person I mean to think about it, just to be
- 10:57Speaker 2: not even kidding. What was the one product that Americans
- 11:02Speaker 2: ran to the stores to get during the COVID pandemic.
- 11:06Speaker 2: Just think for a second, toilet paper. They all ran
- 11:11Speaker 2: for toilet paper. I was like, what is going on?
- 11:14Speaker 2: I would have ran for water, but these people ran
- 11:17Speaker 2: for toilet paper and they were fighting the costcos the
- 11:20Speaker 2: BJ's all these stores, they were packed with people fighting
- 11:22Speaker 2: over toilet paper. Now you think the G twenty summit's
- 11:25Speaker 2: going to come back and say, Okay, you got to
- 11:26Speaker 2: start using your hands, get the hell out of here.
- 11:28Speaker 2: You're never going to get Americans to do that. I
- 11:31Speaker 2: don't think you're going to get a lot of people
- 11:32Speaker 2: to do that, but you're definitely not getting Americans to
- 11:34Speaker 2: do that. But I digress. The point is the people
- 11:38Speaker 2: that are at these summits, the socialists and the liberals
- 11:41Speaker 2: around the United States that are telling you that you
- 11:45Speaker 2: are not allowed to live X, Y and Z kind
- 11:48Speaker 2: of life unless it fits into their model. Are the
- 11:52Speaker 2: same people who during the pandemic were like, if you're
- 11:57Speaker 2: not vaccinated, you can't go anywhere. And we're going to
- 12:01Speaker 2: make sure you can't go anywhere because we're going to
- 12:03Speaker 2: have a vaccine card, and on that card it's going
- 12:07Speaker 2: to say when you got your first shot, when you
- 12:09Speaker 2: got your booster shot, what was the code on the
- 12:12Speaker 2: bottle of the of the vaccine that you got. I mean,
- 12:17Speaker 2: really think about this for a minute. That's nuts. But
- 12:21Speaker 2: by the same token, if you want to ask for
- 12:25Speaker 2: somebody's ID to vote, that's fine, that's not that's not
- 12:29Speaker 2: a big deal. We don't we don't need ideas to vote.
- 12:32Speaker 2: But if you want to go to this coffee shop,
- 12:35Speaker 2: we're going to need your vaccine papers. I mean, just
- 12:37Speaker 2: hold on to that for a minute. These are people
- 12:40Speaker 2: that are making decisions that are affecting our lives and
- 12:43Speaker 2: our children's lives and their children's lives. And I saw
- 12:47Speaker 2: this girl today and I've seen it before. She posted
- 12:49Speaker 2: something up on social and she said, think about yourself
- 12:52Speaker 2: and your Famili's one hundred years from today, you know,
- 12:56Speaker 2: twenty one to twenty five, twenty one, twenty six, no
- 13:00Speaker 2: one's going to remember who you are, no one's going
- 13:02Speaker 2: to remember what you did. The world would be spinning
- 13:05Speaker 2: as it is today. So we have to think about
- 13:08Speaker 2: the here and now, because one hundred years from now,
- 13:11Speaker 2: no one's going to think about us, just like we
- 13:13Speaker 2: don't think about the people from one hundred years ago.
- 13:16Speaker 2: That is a reality that shows you how insignificant you
- 13:19Speaker 2: are and how important the reality of today is. And
- 13:24Speaker 2: that whole mantra of live every day as if it's
- 13:27Speaker 2: your last, because you're not promised tomorrow, and that's the
- 13:29Speaker 2: God's honest truth. But you have to plan for your
- 13:33Speaker 2: kids and your grandkids because that little bit you do control,
- 13:38Speaker 2: and that little bit you can help. And I'm telling
- 13:41Speaker 2: you right now, if we don't start to fight back
- 13:44Speaker 2: and take control and elect the right people in twenty
- 13:48Speaker 2: twenty six, I am so sick and tired of Rhino
- 13:52Speaker 2: Republicans and socialist Democrats. These people are out of their minds,
- 13:57Speaker 2: I really am. I would just like a normal person.
- 14:00Speaker 2: I don't even care about party affiliation, just normal. Do
- 14:03Speaker 2: we have the normal party? I would like to start
- 14:04Speaker 2: the normal party. I just want to pay my mortgage
- 14:08Speaker 2: and feed my kids and do the right thing. You
- 14:10Speaker 2: commit a crime you go to jail. If the evidence
- 14:12Speaker 2: says it's you, it's you. Period. You rape the kid,
- 14:16Speaker 2: you go to you get the death penalty. Period. There
- 14:20Speaker 2: is These things are simple, and I think part of
- 14:23Speaker 2: the problem is too is a lot of people that
- 14:26Speaker 2: are making these laws or having these conversations where it's
- 14:30Speaker 2: so hyperbolic and they're like, oh my god. People who
- 14:33Speaker 2: come after illegal aliens are like the KKK, They're like
- 14:36Speaker 2: the Nazis. I'm like, guys, have you ever read a
- 14:39Speaker 2: history book? Do you know anything about these organizations that
- 14:43Speaker 2: you're referring to, like ICE, like Homeland Security. Do you
- 14:48Speaker 2: know how many cartel members, how many drug dealers, how
- 14:52Speaker 2: many little kids are being trafficked into the arms of
- 14:56Speaker 2: rapists and pedophiles and Satanist types. I mean, read the news,
- 15:02Speaker 2: look at who they're capturing. What are you defending? But
- 15:07Speaker 2: then you're going to go to judges' houses because they
- 15:09Speaker 2: don't do the things that you want them to do.
- 15:11Speaker 2: You're going to protest at people who speak for a
- 15:15Speaker 2: living or maybe don't say the things that you like,
- 15:17Speaker 2: and you're to say, I'm going to come and kill
- 15:18Speaker 2: your kids. You're going to shoot National guardsmen in broad
- 15:21Speaker 2: daylight because you came in under a botched law from
- 15:24Speaker 2: a previous president who didn't know what day it was,
- 15:27Speaker 2: and he said it was okay for you to come in.
- 15:29Speaker 2: And now you're killing people in the middle of the
- 15:30Speaker 2: street because we have people in a sedition video telling
- 15:33Speaker 2: you that, oh, by the way, the federal government is
- 15:36Speaker 2: the enemy. That's another thing. Nobody in our government is
- 15:42Speaker 2: being held accountable. I am telling you right now, and
- 15:45Speaker 2: I'm saying this just today. If the governors, the judges,
- 15:50Speaker 2: the senators, the congress members, all people in positions of
- 15:55Speaker 2: authority who have decided to allow people to get the
- 15:59Speaker 2: legal seed licenses, the ability to take care of children,
- 16:03Speaker 2: the ability to work with our elderly, the ability to
- 16:07Speaker 2: come into our country and work in our government. I mean,
- 16:10Speaker 2: my god. We got people working in areas of the government,
- 16:14Speaker 2: whether it be the Pentagon or the administrative offices, and
- 16:17Speaker 2: they're here on HB one visas, or they've overstayed their
- 16:21Speaker 2: work or their school vis or whatever it is, and
- 16:24Speaker 2: then they're committing crimes and we're defending those people. Guess
- 16:31Speaker 2: what if you defended those people and they end up
- 16:35Speaker 2: driving their truck into an innocent person and that person
- 16:38Speaker 2: dies raping a child, and that child is forever scarred
- 16:42Speaker 2: because you allowed that to happen. Filling out the wrong
- 16:44Speaker 2: paperwork for somebody because they actually don't speak English or
- 16:47Speaker 2: read English, and then somebody is forever, you know, scarred
- 16:51Speaker 2: because the paperwork was filled out wrong. In an administrative office,
- 16:55Speaker 2: passports are given out that shouldn't be given out, whatever
- 16:58Speaker 2: office it is, whatever life kind of work it is
- 17:01Speaker 2: that these illegals are put into because rogue judges and
- 17:06Speaker 2: governors and mayors and other elected officials who are on
- 17:10Speaker 2: the left decided that it was more important to play
- 17:13Speaker 2: politics and be woke and lenient than it was to
- 17:16Speaker 2: protect their constituents and the people of the United States
- 17:19Speaker 2: of America. You should be held accountable. You should go
- 17:23Speaker 2: to jail, and you should serve time for your decisions
- 17:27Speaker 2: that allow people to cause the injuries to completely innocent
- 17:32Speaker 2: victims who have nothing to do with your decision to
- 17:37Speaker 2: put them in danger. All of you should share in
- 17:41Speaker 2: the price of what these poor people are suffering. Because
- 17:45Speaker 2: I got to tell you, I am sick and tired
- 17:47Speaker 2: of opening up newspapers, bringing up stories on x and
- 17:53Speaker 2: Instagram anywhere else that you're reading your news from and
- 17:57Speaker 2: seeing a news story couple killed by tractor t child,
- 18:01Speaker 2: rape by illegal immigrant, girl, kidnapped by uber driver. It's
- 18:06Speaker 2: always the same story, and it's like wash, rince repeat
- 18:10Speaker 2: enough already, hold them accountable. It's done. We cannot allow
- 18:17Speaker 2: this to keep happening. And the only reason they want
- 18:19Speaker 2: it to happen is because they need the fake voters
- 18:22Speaker 2: so that they can keep getting in office. If we
- 18:24Speaker 2: don't get our election integrity under our belts, I'll tell
- 18:27Speaker 2: you right now, we're done. It's over. Twenty twenty six,
- 18:31Speaker 2: doesn't matter. If we don't do the right things, that
- 18:35Speaker 2: is a massive problem. Now I will tell you two
- 18:39Speaker 2: nice stories, and I want to start to do this
- 18:42Speaker 2: on every show. I want to be able to tell you, guys,
- 18:44Speaker 2: two nice stories. So the first one, a lot of
- 18:49Speaker 2: you heard about this. I read about this last night
- 18:52Speaker 2: and it is just amazing. This is an eighty eight
- 18:55Speaker 2: year old veteran. He was approached and nominated by fellow
- 19:00Speaker 2: co worker. He works in a grocery store in Detroit,
- 19:03Speaker 2: and he was a member of our Armed forces. He
- 19:07Speaker 2: served in the Army and then worked at General Motors, retired,
- 19:11Speaker 2: and then General Motors went bankrupt. He lost his life
- 19:14Speaker 2: savings and ended up losing his pension and his healthcare.
- 19:19Speaker 2: His wife was very, very sick, very sadly passed away
- 19:22Speaker 2: seven years ago. He's completely alone, but he has no money,
- 19:25Speaker 2: so now he works forty hours a week. Forty hours
- 19:29Speaker 2: a week. He's eighty eight years old, served our country
- 19:33Speaker 2: so that he can make ends meet. So we have
- 19:35Speaker 2: illegal immigrants all over this country sitting in hotel rooms, disgusting,
- 19:40Speaker 2: getting credit cards and lunches and their sheets washed and
- 19:46Speaker 2: their clothes washed. I mean, it's really repulsive when you
- 19:49Speaker 2: think about it. And then we've got an eighty eight
- 19:51Speaker 2: year old veteran who literally is working every single day
- 19:55Speaker 2: because he can't eat unless he does, because he had
- 19:57Speaker 2: to give everything up to try to save his wife
- 20:00Speaker 2: life after General Motors went belly up and they never
- 20:03Speaker 2: repaid those pensions or any of those benefits, even after
- 20:07Speaker 2: General Motors became Government motors and got bought out. But
- 20:09Speaker 2: we'll leave that for another day. So this guy goes in,
- 20:13Speaker 2: he shares a story on TikTok, starts to go fund me,
- 20:16Speaker 2: and says, please, let's raise enough money so that this gentleman,
- 20:20Speaker 2: his name is Ed Bombas can finally retire. I'm happy
- 20:23Speaker 2: to say that as of today today's Tuesday, December two
- 20:28Speaker 2: people have raised over a million dollars. My husband and
- 20:30Speaker 2: I are two of those people. We love our veterans.
- 20:33Speaker 2: I love the elderly. I just think they're amazing people.
- 20:36Speaker 2: We have a lot to learn from them if we
- 20:37Speaker 2: would just shut up and listen. And we donated. And
- 20:41Speaker 2: I can't even tell you how happy it makes me
- 20:44Speaker 2: to see so many people donating to this man and
- 20:48Speaker 2: doing something for him. So that's a happy story. If
- 20:51Speaker 2: you haven't seen it, just google ed Bombas Bambas. Check
- 20:55Speaker 2: it out. It's fantastic. Second story that I loved was
- 20:59Speaker 2: I I saw a gentleman, another eighty two year old veteran.
- 21:04Speaker 2: He was a decorated Vietnam veteran, and he was living
- 21:08Speaker 2: on the streets. He was arrested because it was a
- 21:12Speaker 2: freezing storm where he lived, and they found him in
- 21:15Speaker 2: the lobby of a post office because he was so
- 21:18Speaker 2: cold that he snuck in and he slept there for
- 21:20Speaker 2: the night, and he was arrested for trespassing and then
- 21:23Speaker 2: resisting arrest, trying to explain to them, this is the
- 21:25Speaker 2: guy who's got a purple heart and a bronze star.
- 21:27Speaker 2: So they bring him before the judge and he's like
- 21:30Speaker 2: crying and upset, and he's explaining to the judge what happened,
- 21:34Speaker 2: and the judge looks at him and he goes, so,
- 21:35Speaker 2: you served in our military, you served in Vietnam, you
- 21:39Speaker 2: have a purple heart and a bronze star, and you're
- 21:42Speaker 2: homeless on the street for three years. You're eighty two
- 21:44Speaker 2: years old. And a guy's like breaking down crying, waiting
- 21:47Speaker 2: for the judge to send him to jail. And the
- 21:49Speaker 2: judge got up from the bench and asked the bailiff
- 21:53Speaker 2: to come. Let the man come to him and hugged
- 21:56Speaker 2: him and said, I am not arresting you. You are
- 21:58Speaker 2: a hero, and we're going to get you the help
- 22:00Speaker 2: you need and get you to a place with veterans
- 22:03Speaker 2: benefits that can take care of you. That's incredible. This
- 22:07Speaker 2: is the kind of stuff that needs to happen every day.
- 22:11Speaker 2: And I hope that it is happening every day, and
- 22:13Speaker 2: that there's just so much negative stuff that it just
- 22:15Speaker 2: gets buried. That would actually make me really happy. But
- 22:18Speaker 2: this is the stuff that we need to do. We
- 22:20Speaker 2: need to extend kindness to those who deserve it, and
- 22:23Speaker 2: stop giving handouts to people who shouldn't even be here.
- 22:27Speaker 2: This is the Roague Recap, you guys. I'm gonna wrap
- 22:29Speaker 2: it up there for today. I think I've given you
- 22:32Speaker 2: plenty to think one. I will see you tomorrow and
- 22:35Speaker 2: please check us out at Lindamik at Rogue Recap. Keep listening.
- 22:39Speaker 2: I'm going to keep doing and I promise I'm going
- 22:41Speaker 2: to start video really really soon. It has been crazy
- 22:44Speaker 2: and I've been on the road, but as soon as
- 22:46Speaker 2: I get back in the studio and I get it
- 22:47Speaker 2: set up, we will be doing video every day so
- 22:51Speaker 2: you could see me and I could see you. Please
- 22:53Speaker 2: let me know if there's anything you'd like to talk about,
- 22:54Speaker 2: any questions you have, and we'll see you next time.
- 22:56Speaker 2: Thanks for listening.
