- 0:10Speaker 1: Welcome to Girls Gun Hallmark, a homemark review podcast. I'm
- 0:13Speaker 1: Megan and I'm a longtime Homemark fan. I'm Wendy, I'm
- 0:16Speaker 1: a former homemark hater. On today's episode, it's time to
- 0:19Speaker 1: discuss our first impressions of the July twenty twenty six
- 0:23Speaker 1: Christmas in July lineup. We have four movies and two
- 0:27Speaker 1: series to talk about today. Do you want to jump
- 0:30Speaker 1: right into it? I want to preface this episode. Yes. First.
- 0:37Speaker 1: First of all, if anybody knows me has been a
- 0:40Speaker 1: listener to our podcast for a long time, you know
- 0:43Speaker 1: I'm not like a big fan of Christmas. So here
- 0:46Speaker 1: we go with Christmas in July. I'm not looking forward
- 0:49Speaker 1: to it simply on theme alone. Uh huh. The second
- 0:53Speaker 1: thing is, we just recorded are the Way Home listener
- 0:57Speaker 1: mail bag where we joked a lot about the hate
- 1:01Speaker 1: comments we got. So I feel a little bit spicy
- 1:05Speaker 1: right now, got it? Got it? Got it? So the
- 1:09Speaker 1: former Hallmark hater mate might come out to play a
- 1:12Speaker 1: little bit with our precious of Christmas in July, and
- 1:16Speaker 1: I feel a little bit sad about it because I
- 1:19Speaker 1: know that there are probably a ton of listeners who
- 1:21Speaker 1: are so excited for Christmas in July, and I just look.
- 1:26Speaker 1: My husband has been asking me, like, when does Hallmark
- 1:29Speaker 1: start playing their Christmas movies? And it makes me laugh
- 1:32Speaker 1: because we have Hallmark Plus. I'm like, they're all right there,
- 1:34Speaker 1: go watch them all Like, why do you looking for
- 1:37Speaker 1: new ones? I'm telling you, he's been watching Christmas movies
- 1:41Speaker 1: recently and he's like digging through those archives trying to
- 1:44Speaker 1: find something I haven't seen, and he definitely has. I mean,
- 1:47Speaker 1: this is definitely something people really look forward to. I
- 1:49Speaker 1: totally understand that it's not your jam. June twenty six
- 1:52Speaker 1: is when Hallmark will start airing Christmas movies on the channel. Jeez.
- 1:58Speaker 1: But our first movie we'll kick off on July fourth.
- 2:03Speaker 1: You know, last year we didn't get any new Christmas movies.
- 2:06Speaker 1: They just did reruns and then they did the Christmas
- 2:08Speaker 1: at Sea Hallmark Plus exclusive, which we'll talk about because
- 2:14Speaker 1: that is coming back for a season two. All right,
- 2:17Speaker 1: So let's talk about the first movie. Are you ready? Yes,
- 2:23Speaker 1: Christmas Under Construction drops on July fourth. Methinks it's not
- 2:29Speaker 1: going to get a ton of views on July fourth.
- 2:31Speaker 1: What do you think? I don't is the Hallmark audience
- 2:34Speaker 1: out watching fireworks. I don't think they. I think they are. Okay,
- 2:39Speaker 1: I think they are. Do you want a synopsis? Yeah.
- 2:43Speaker 1: Chelsea and Jake are the hosts of a hit reality
- 2:47Speaker 1: renovation show called Renovation Romance. For their live Christmas special,
- 2:52Speaker 1: their paradoff with a new duo, and things get complicated fast.
- 2:57Speaker 1: Behind the festive cameras, Chelsea and Jake's relationship is quietly
- 3:02Speaker 1: falling apart, and working alongside Cooper and his partner, starts
- 3:06Speaker 1: to make her question everything. This one stars Jessica Loundus
- 3:11Speaker 1: and Daniel Lissing, Adam Herding, and Samantha Kendrick. This one's
- 3:16Speaker 1: got real problems all over it in my opinion. I
- 3:21Speaker 1: know we talked about it somewhere before. I don't remember where,
- 3:24Speaker 1: but this movie did previously air in twenty twenty four
- 3:27Speaker 1: under the name Renovation Romance, so this is an acquisition.
- 3:32Speaker 1: It's not a true homework original. I believe it is
- 3:35Speaker 1: still currently airing on Hulu right now, and unfortunately, the
- 3:39Speaker 1: reviews that exist for that are not super positive. A
- 3:44Speaker 1: lot of them call it cheesy, although I did see
- 3:46Speaker 1: some reviews that were like, this was not a good movie,
- 3:49Speaker 1: and yet it was totally watchable, So I definitely know
- 3:53Speaker 1: that vibe of movie. I've definitely watched movies. I'm like,
- 3:56Speaker 1: this was not good, but it was fun to watch.
- 3:58Speaker 1: So I like Daniel this sing a lot, what Daniel
- 4:02Speaker 1: listening a lot too? And I like a twist of
- 4:04Speaker 1: a reality TV show and I like a renovation home
- 4:10Speaker 1: repair show too. I mean there's elements to it that
- 4:13Speaker 1: I'm like, it could work for me. What would be
- 4:18Speaker 1: really funny is that, like when we do review this movie,
- 4:21Speaker 1: I'm like, you, guys, I loved it. I mean, stranger
- 4:25Speaker 1: things have happened. It has happened. You know. A live
- 4:29Speaker 1: Christmas special does have me roll in my eyes because
- 4:32Speaker 1: as much as no one's watching this on fourth of July,
- 4:35Speaker 1: no one's watching a renovation show reveal on Christmas. But nevertheless, nevertheless,
- 4:44Speaker 1: let's talk about our next movie. Okay, go ahead, Oh
- 4:47Speaker 1: Little Christmas Market on Saturday, July eleventh, starring Catherine Barrell
- 4:51Speaker 1: and Stephen Who's Our. I'm laughing because when I see
- 4:55Speaker 1: the name Stephen, Who's Our? What am I thinking? Take
- 4:58Speaker 1: your shirt up? Ye? Exactly. Olivia is a miniature artist
- 5:03Speaker 1: fighting to save her town's beloved Christmas market, a tradition
- 5:08Speaker 1: she inherited from her late father from a corporate developer,
- 5:13Speaker 1: Enter Grayson, a talented architect she meets by chance at
- 5:17Speaker 1: a train station. The catch his firm is the one
- 5:21Speaker 1: behind the buyout. No way, Now this is Tropes on
- 5:27Speaker 1: Tropes on Troops. We've got the Christmas market, small town,
- 5:33Speaker 1: big bad developer coming in to take it over. The
- 5:37Speaker 1: phrasing miniature artist like the adjective miniature. She's an artist
- 5:45Speaker 1: of miniature. She's not an artist who is miniature. Yeah, no,
- 5:48Speaker 1: I get it. No, I know that's what I was assuming.
- 5:52Speaker 1: I get it too, But reading it, my brain goes to,
- 5:56Speaker 1: like that Recent Peaks. Sure, did you watch that series
- 6:02Speaker 1: The Miniature Wife. No, but anyway you're talking about? Yeah,
- 6:07Speaker 1: is this like dollhouse miniatures? Is that what we're talking about?
- 6:11Speaker 1: I hope? So, I don't know. Huh interesting. Okay, let's
- 6:18Speaker 1: look our cast here. Yeah, Catherine Burrell, we last saw
- 6:23Speaker 1: her in a Christmas Baby. A Christmas Baby is that
- 6:26Speaker 1: what it was called. I think it's the Christmas Baby?
- 6:28Speaker 1: But the Christmas Baby? You know where she and her
- 6:35Speaker 1: girlfriend like came in. They could have been married, I
- 6:38Speaker 1: don't remember, but adopted a baby Okay, I like her.
- 6:41Speaker 1: This cass is fine. What are your thoughts? I like
- 6:45Speaker 1: Caparell too. I mean, Stephen, who's our What did we
- 6:48Speaker 1: just see him in? Oh? To Philly with Love? Oh?
- 6:51Speaker 1: I was actually thinking of the glass Blowing movie? Wasn't
- 6:54Speaker 1: he in the Glowing movie? Melt My Heart? This Christmas
- 6:57Speaker 1: I like? Which you really liked? I actually like to
- 7:00Speaker 1: Philly with Love. I know people didn't. I found it
- 7:03Speaker 1: kind of charming, forgettable, but charming. So look, I'm open
- 7:08Speaker 1: to this. The thing is, while this isn't an acquisition,
- 7:11Speaker 1: we don't know if it's an acquisition. While it's not
- 7:13Speaker 1: a re eirr of an already existing movie, it is
- 7:17Speaker 1: very familiar, very tropy. I feel like it is possible
- 7:21Speaker 1: to save this movie, like if we have fun writing,
- 7:24Speaker 1: if they really lean into the intricacies of Olivia's work,
- 7:28Speaker 1: if they make that fun. But this has, unfortunately the
- 7:32Speaker 1: opportunity to be a little bit forgettable, a little bit
- 7:36Speaker 1: check the box of a Christmas in July movie and
- 7:39Speaker 1: move on. Yeah, especially because it doesn't have like big,
- 7:43Speaker 1: big names behind it. Obviously this is like our first impressions.
- 7:48Speaker 1: But I want to reserve a little bit of judgment
- 7:51Speaker 1: like this is probably of the for the one I'm
- 7:56Speaker 1: most interested in. The interesting. So the writer. One of
- 8:00Speaker 1: the writers is Ryan Peckinpah, who wrote a nineties Christmas
- 8:04Speaker 1: which Cat Barrell was in. She played like the ghost
- 8:07Speaker 1: of Christmas past kind of situation. The other writer is
- 8:11Speaker 1: Natasha Baron, who has written some Christmas movies, but they
- 8:18Speaker 1: were not on Hallmark. This does have like a whiff
- 8:22Speaker 1: of acquisition to it. The director is Mars Herodisky. She
- 8:29Speaker 1: is an Emmy nominated director. She has forty seven directing credits.
- 8:35Speaker 1: But I am not seeing anything on Hallmark, but certainly
- 8:38Speaker 1: some Oh. She directed ten episodes of Work in Moms.
- 8:41Speaker 1: Oh love that show, forty episodes of this hour has
- 8:45Speaker 1: twenty two minutes, a show that I've never heard of.
- 8:48Speaker 1: She has quite a few directing credits. So let's see,
- 8:51Speaker 1: let's see what we can do with this one, all right.
- 9:01Speaker 1: Our next one premiering Saturday, July eighteenth. This called Snowbound
- 9:06Speaker 1: for the Holidays. Cassie is sent by her mother to
- 9:09Speaker 1: evaluate a struggling boutique lodge called London Lodge. Once she arrives,
- 9:14Speaker 1: she meets Trey, the devoted co owner doing everything he
- 9:19Speaker 1: can to keep the place alive, including preserving the town's
- 9:23Speaker 1: annual Christmas festival. So I have to tell you, Marcus Rossner,
- 9:28Speaker 1: who stars in this movie, I have a real soft
- 9:30Speaker 1: spot for him, same because probably for the same reason
- 9:34Speaker 1: you do. There's actually two things. It was first the
- 9:37Speaker 1: Kansas City event he was on stage. That was one
- 9:40Speaker 1: of his first fan events like that. He got choked
- 9:44Speaker 1: up talking about his mom at us and comes across
- 9:49Speaker 1: prior to this to me as like kind of a
- 9:50Speaker 1: tough guy, and we called him b d oh right, right,
- 9:56Speaker 1: you're right, Okay, just google what no, don't okay, don't please,
- 10:03Speaker 1: But he kind of had like a macho way about him. Yeah,
- 10:07Speaker 1: I'm on ride and that's I'm not knocking it at all.
- 10:10Speaker 1: But he was so charming at the Kansas City event.
- 10:14Speaker 1: He just seemed so happy to be there. I had
- 10:17Speaker 1: an incidents the wrong word, but I had a moment
- 10:20Speaker 1: where I got to meet the briefly the stars that
- 10:24Speaker 1: were there, and he was like so warm and like
- 10:26Speaker 1: looked you in the eye, had a conversation with you.
- 10:28Speaker 1: Look he just I was like, I'm in right. But
- 10:30Speaker 1: then last year at Bramblefest, which is a fan event
- 10:35Speaker 1: for the Bramble Jam podcast network. He was there and
- 10:38Speaker 1: he was just like so cool and easy going and
- 10:41Speaker 1: interactive and like willing to have a good time. And
- 10:43Speaker 1: so I have a real soft spot for him. Such
- 10:46Speaker 1: a regular nice guy. Yes, and he and his wife
- 10:49Speaker 1: just had a baby and he's posting like the sweetest
- 10:52Speaker 1: fatherhood content. So I'm already like, all right, show me
- 10:56Speaker 1: what you got Rossner? Now, is this movie that he's produced?
- 11:02Speaker 1: You know, he like produces a lot of not of
- 11:05Speaker 1: his own work, but has a production company makes a
- 11:08Speaker 1: lot of movies. Yeah, he is not listed as a
- 11:11Speaker 1: producer on this movie on IMDb. That that doesn't mean
- 11:16Speaker 1: that his production company wasn't involved. Okay, So I don't know,
- 11:21Speaker 1: all right, Christopher Dureau is the producer of this movie,
- 11:25Speaker 1: and I'm just looking to see if there's anything, like
- 11:28Speaker 1: is there a writer or director? Yeah? So the writers
- 11:31Speaker 1: are Courtney McAllister and Tim Stubinski. Courtney McAllister has nine
- 11:37Speaker 1: writing credits Christmas movies, but they are not a Hallmark
- 11:42Speaker 1: and Tim Stubinski has two writing credits If I Had
- 11:49Speaker 1: Wings and Wolf Canyon from twenty thirteen to two thousand
- 11:53Speaker 1: and nine, respectively. So I don't. I don't know. And
- 11:56Speaker 1: the director is Christopher Gireau. Sorry not that he's also
- 11:59Speaker 1: the pret user of this movie, but he has five
- 12:02Speaker 1: directing credits, one called b Bee My Love, which she
- 12:07Speaker 1: also wrote. I'm not familiar with the co star, Vanessa
- 12:12Speaker 1: Lengi's yeah you are, let me look her up. I
- 12:17Speaker 1: really can't place this face at all. So she was
- 12:20Speaker 1: in Take Me Back for Christmas. I don't know if
- 12:22Speaker 1: you remember she played like herself in two different eras.
- 12:26Speaker 1: That sounds familiar. Oh yeah, I like her? Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 12:33Speaker 1: Okay this okay, maybe this is the one I'm looking
- 12:36Speaker 1: forward to the most. Yeah, take Me Back for Christmas.
- 12:39Speaker 1: I really liked she's been. She was also in Christmas
- 12:42Speaker 1: and Toiland, which is a Hallmark movie. She has fifty
- 12:45Speaker 1: six credits, so she's done quite a bit. Her name
- 12:48Speaker 1: in this movie is Cassidy Evergreen. Cassidy Evergreen, I get
- 12:53Speaker 1: it once again. It's it's tropes on tropes. It's like
- 13:00Speaker 1: trying to save this lodge. Now we have a festival
- 13:04Speaker 1: that we need to save. And I don't know right,
- 13:08Speaker 1: Like she's from the Big Bad Boutique hotel company and
- 13:13Speaker 1: not Big Bad but it's this is very trophy as well. Yeah, okay,
- 13:19Speaker 1: well but you know Christmas festival. Are we gonna have
- 13:25Speaker 1: all of these Christmas events? Sometimes those are fun. I
- 13:32Speaker 1: hear you, I hear you. City woman meets small town
- 13:35Speaker 1: local falls in love. We're not. It's not a big stretch.
- 13:38Speaker 1: I'm like, I'm feeling a little Christmas market and snowbound
- 13:42Speaker 1: for the holidays, and these are the two I'm probably
- 13:47Speaker 1: most looking forward to. And look sometimes, maybe like Christmas
- 13:50Speaker 1: in July, we just need a little comfort food, We
- 13:53Speaker 1: just need a little escapism. So maybe this will just
- 13:56Speaker 1: hit those marks. But I don't think these are gonna
- 13:58Speaker 1: be Oh my gosh, these were the most amazing movies.
- 14:01Speaker 1: Put them on your rewatch list every year. I'm right,
- 14:04Speaker 1: But you know, come for me on YouTube please. Finally,
- 14:07Speaker 1: would you believe we have another acquisition that has already aired?
- 14:11Speaker 1: Oh wow, No, I didn't know that. This is Love
- 14:15Speaker 1: under the Mistletoe. It premieres on Saturday, July twenty fifth,
- 14:18Speaker 1: stars Jen Lily and Nick Bateman. The synopsis is Grace
- 14:23Speaker 1: is a busy interior designer who hasn't made time for
- 14:25Speaker 1: a relationship Ryan, her former high school crush, is back
- 14:30Speaker 1: in town to sell his grandmother's historic home. The mayor
- 14:35Speaker 1: ropes them both in to reviving a beloved charity fundraiser
- 14:39Speaker 1: called Ribbons and Bows. Now. This originally aired as Operation
- 14:46Speaker 1: Missletoe on the CW in twenty twenty four. Guess c W.
- 14:51Speaker 1: Guess what the IMDb rating is? Oh my god? Wait
- 14:56Speaker 1: is it out of ten? I can't remember. Yes, I'm
- 15:00Speaker 1: gonna give it a four point five five point three.
- 15:05Speaker 1: The director, however, Hello, is Bradley Walsh, who has fifty
- 15:10Speaker 1: three directing credits, including a royal setting trading up for Christmas.
- 15:15Speaker 1: Oh twas the date before Christmas. Catch me if you clause,
- 15:20Speaker 1: oh wow, undercover Holiday. There's some more in here, but
- 15:24Speaker 1: I'm just trying to find link the I mean, he's
- 15:26Speaker 1: he's got some he's got some strong the Holiday Calendar,
- 15:30Speaker 1: which is a Netflix Christmas movie that is real cute
- 15:34Speaker 1: Christmas and Angel falls, many flower shop mysteries. So this
- 15:39Speaker 1: is in good hands. I think how bizarre that it
- 15:43Speaker 1: aired on the CW. Maybe just didn't land with that
- 15:46Speaker 1: audience over there, because typically their stuff is you know, young,
- 15:51Speaker 1: m hmm. I'm just pulling it up to look at
- 15:54Speaker 1: the original I've never seen this guy before, Nick Bateman.
- 15:58Speaker 1: Annsley Gordon wrote the aforementioned Melt My Heart this Christmas,
- 16:02Speaker 1: she wrote this one too. Yep. Well interesting it is
- 16:06Speaker 1: on Hulu too, is it? I believe it's on Hulu
- 16:10Speaker 1: right now too. So yeah, if you guys want to jump,
- 16:14Speaker 1: if you want to get ahead of Christmas before, yeah,
- 16:17Speaker 1: I mean Nick Bateman real cute his other credits when
- 16:20Speaker 1: Hope calls. I feel kind of bad for Jen Lily here, because,
- 16:26Speaker 1: like I, it seems like she is attempting to come
- 16:30Speaker 1: back to Hallmark. She had a movie earlier this year
- 16:32Speaker 1: which was okay, like don't I don't remember like loving it,
- 16:36Speaker 1: but I remember thinking this is a not a great
- 16:42Speaker 1: vehicle for a comeback, and now we have an acquisition
- 16:46Speaker 1: on top of it. Yeah, I agree with that because
- 16:49Speaker 1: the thing about a royal setting was I didn't think
- 16:52Speaker 1: the movie itself was doing a lot, but I thought
- 16:55Speaker 1: Jen Lilly was doing as much as she could in
- 16:57Speaker 1: that movie. Like I understood her charm in that movie,
- 17:03Speaker 1: and I would like to see her get a written
- 17:09Speaker 1: for Hallmark non acquisition moment, like an actual new movie,
- 17:15Speaker 1: like hearing star in an actual Christmas movie. Well maybe
- 17:19Speaker 1: she will. Yeah, that'd be great, she will. All right,
- 17:23Speaker 1: let's talk about these other projects coming to Hallmark. Okay,
- 17:28Speaker 1: Christmas at Sea Season two. This is a reality light
- 17:36Speaker 1: documentary of the produced reality series. Yes of you know,
- 17:42Speaker 1: the Christmas at Sea Hallmark Christmas Cruise that happened last Yeah.
- 17:49Speaker 1: Fall was it fall? I guess November. Yeah, you'll see
- 17:53Speaker 1: Tyler Hines, Jonathan Bennett, Nikit de Loache, Paul Campbell, Ashley Williams,
- 17:58Speaker 1: Andrew Walker, Taylor, Cole Westron bj Britt and more. If
- 18:03Speaker 1: I recall, I am strictly going from memory, but I
- 18:06Speaker 1: believe Paul Campbell and Kimberly Saystad had to depart early
- 18:10Speaker 1: because Paul had a family emergency. Yes, So I wonder
- 18:16Speaker 1: how much they actually were part of the season two
- 18:23Speaker 1: Christmas at Sea. I am very curious. So last season
- 18:27Speaker 1: was a real mixed bag of reactions. We actually liked it.
- 18:31Speaker 1: I think we liked Okay, Hindsight's twenty twenty. I think
- 18:34Speaker 1: we liked it because we were there interesting the first
- 18:37Speaker 1: you know, we were not on the cruise the time
- 18:40Speaker 1: that they were filming it, but we were on the
- 18:43Speaker 1: cruise prior, and so I think it was fun that
- 18:47Speaker 1: we got to see the things that we experienced. So
- 18:51Speaker 1: this when we first found out they were filming a
- 18:53Speaker 1: reality show, this is not what I anticipated it being.
- 18:57Speaker 1: I'm glad it wasn't just here's shots or here's what
- 18:59Speaker 1: happen happens on a Hallmark Christmas Cruise. It wasn't just
- 19:01Speaker 1: an infomercial for the cruise. It was taking the Hallmark
- 19:05Speaker 1: style of storytelling and applying it to people on the cruise,
- 19:10Speaker 1: which I thought was smart because nobody wants to watch
- 19:13Speaker 1: four episodes of Here's what Happens on a Hallmark Christmas Cruise.
- 19:17Speaker 1: Like they gave you a chance to buy into the characters.
- 19:20Speaker 1: There was a wedding, there was this friendship, you know,
- 19:25Speaker 1: there was a family. Look. I thought it was cute.
- 19:28Speaker 1: It was like TLC in its olden days for sure.
- 19:33Speaker 1: A baby story, a wedding story, a cruise story basically
- 19:37Speaker 1: is what they were giving us. I'm curious to see
- 19:40Speaker 1: the characters they put together. And basically they had Hallmark
- 19:43Speaker 1: stars participate in these storylines. So Tyler Hines hopped on
- 19:50Speaker 1: an ATV with these women so they could break out
- 19:53Speaker 1: of some of their fears. And Paul Campbell officiated a wedding.
- 19:58Speaker 1: You think it's going to be like be and repeat, Pat,
- 20:01Speaker 1: I think I assume it's going to be a similar situation.
- 20:06Speaker 1: We're not going to be reviewing it here, Nope, simply
- 20:10Speaker 1: because my guess is there's not a lot to like.
- 20:12Speaker 1: It's not a lot to talk about week to week.
- 20:14Speaker 1: But follow us on socials for some reactions to this series.
- 20:19Speaker 1: For sure. Finally, this is actually the thing I'm most
- 20:21Speaker 1: excited about it in July, although we get it at
- 20:23Speaker 1: the end of the month. Paris is always a good idea.
- 20:25Speaker 1: We've been talking about this for a few months. It
- 20:28Speaker 1: will premiere Thursday, July thirtieth, exclusively on Hallmark Plus. It
- 20:33Speaker 1: will be a six episode series starring Lazy Shabt, Scott,
- 20:39Speaker 1: Michael Foster, Barbara Niven, and some other names. It's basically
- 20:46Speaker 1: the story of career driven nonprofit executive Chelsea travels to
- 20:51Speaker 1: Paris with her confident rival turned ally Jason Knightley to
- 20:57Speaker 1: secure a major donation, but a heartfelt message from her
- 21:00Speaker 1: late mother and a loving push from her sister sends
- 21:03Speaker 1: her on an unexpected journey to reconnect with the three
- 21:07Speaker 1: great loves she once left behind. Part of me just
- 21:11Speaker 1: had like a wish hoping it was the same team
- 21:15Speaker 1: that was behind the Twelve Dates Till Christmas. Yes, because
- 21:20Speaker 1: that was so well done. I would love it if
- 21:26Speaker 1: they were. I mean, that's just my wish. Yeah, I
- 21:30Speaker 1: would love that too. They did such a nice job
- 21:33Speaker 1: with that series. I think this book lends itself really
- 21:38Speaker 1: nicely to a series because the story is she basically
- 21:41Speaker 1: travels to some locations where she's had significant experiences in
- 21:46Speaker 1: the past, and so we kind of travel through. We
- 21:49Speaker 1: do Ireland and then Paris and then Spain, although in
- 21:54Speaker 1: the book it's Italy, so I don't know if Spain
- 21:57Speaker 1: stands in for Italy or if they've just changed. It
- 22:00Speaker 1: was filmed on location Scott Michael Foster. I think, having
- 22:04Speaker 1: read the book, he is excellent casting for this character
- 22:08Speaker 1: of Jason Knightley. The die is kind of like too cool,
- 22:13Speaker 1: too suave, but then Nylan gets some warmth. I think
- 22:15Speaker 1: the casting is fan freakantastic. I'm really excited to see
- 22:18Speaker 1: Lacey take this on. The character of Chelsea is like
- 22:22Speaker 1: a little sassier than we've seen Lacey Bee. I think, yeah,
- 22:27Speaker 1: so I think that will be interesting. But I'm very
- 22:29Speaker 1: much looking forward to this. We will be reviewing this
- 22:31Speaker 1: here on Girls con Homark. What are your thoughts. I
- 22:34Speaker 1: can't wait. I'm most excited for this. When reading the book,
- 22:38Speaker 1: I was like, how are they going to make this
- 22:42Speaker 1: Hallmark Hallmark efid uh huh. Yeah, I'm really looking forward
- 22:47Speaker 1: to this, really looking forward to it. Agree for me, Oh,
- 22:51Speaker 1: it's a tie between Oh Little Christmas Market and Snowbound
- 22:54Speaker 1: for the holidays of one and two. Then I think
- 22:58Speaker 1: Love under the Mistletoe, followed by Christmas Under Construction. This
- 23:02Speaker 1: is honestly a much tougher list for me than last
- 23:05Speaker 1: month because there are a lot of similarities here. I'm
- 23:09Speaker 1: going Snowbound for the holidays, Love under the Missiletoe, believe
- 23:13Speaker 1: it or not, Oh Little Christmas Market, and then Christmas
- 23:17Speaker 1: under Construction. Oh interesting, all right? But my real favorite
- 23:23Speaker 1: is Paris is always a good idea. Yeah, I can't wait.
- 23:26Speaker 1: I'm really looking forward to that. And for those who
- 23:29Speaker 1: are just listening to our first Impression episode, we are
- 23:33Speaker 1: also covering four Hallmark Hall of Fame Christmas movies this
- 23:39Speaker 1: month as well, so there will be two new episodes
- 23:42Speaker 1: each week from us. That's right. Well, hey, thanks for
- 23:45Speaker 1: listening to this. Episode of Girls Gone Hallmark. We'd love
