  SPEAKER_00: But many of us have learned to minimize pain or ignore it or stuff it down.

  SPEAKER_00: To stay so busy that you you you just aren't even aware of it anymore, to pretend that we're fine.

  SPEAKER_00: But hidden wounds don't stay hidden, they leak into our marriages and our parenting and our friendships.

  SPEAKER_00: David prayed in Psalm 139, search me, oh God, and know my heart.

  SPEAKER_00: It's a dangerous prayer.

  SPEAKER_00: Because God loves us too much to leave us where we are.

  SPEAKER_00: Healing begins with honesty, right?

  SPEAKER_00: And so often it's honesty with ourselves and honesty with the Lord.
