- 0:21[SPEAKER_00]: Could a political operation design to hurt Republicans end up boomeranging by handing the Republicans their most powerful election day weapon yet?
- 0:32[SPEAKER_00]: We're about to find out how the backlash against and exposed ballot stacking scheme is about to become a bigger story than the scheme itself.
- 0:41[SPEAKER_00]: Stick them in the very end of this video because we've got all the latest in the bomb show investigations into the Alaska Senate race that already has the Democrats reeling and with all the early voting, we're going to see why this Democrat disaster is only the beginning.

- 1:30[SPEAKER_00]: I'll see you on Monday nights.
- 1:32[SPEAKER_00]: All right, let's dive right in here again.
- 1:34[SPEAKER_00]: We've got some massive breaking news coming out of Alaska, particularly the Alaskan Senate race.
- 1:41[SPEAKER_00]: Now,
- 1:42[SPEAKER_00]: According to a bombshell report by the New York Times of all places, Democrat Mary Petola's campaign needs, and National Democratic Senate operatives worked to recruit a spoiler candidate against Republican Senator Dan Sullivan after repeated denials.
- 2:00[SPEAKER_00]: that they had deliberately recruited a candidate with the same name as Sullivan's in order to deliberately mislead voters.
- 2:08[SPEAKER_00]: The New York Times' explosive investigation confirmed the presence of text messages, documents, and testimony from Petola's former campaign manager,
- 2:20[SPEAKER_00]: reportedly substantiating the deception operation.
- 2:24[SPEAKER_00]: It's technically known as ballot stacking and involves strategically recruiting or promoting extra candidates, not necessarily to win, but to siphon votes off from an opponent.
- 2:36[SPEAKER_00]: and improve a preferred candidate's chances.
- 2:38[SPEAKER_00]: And in this case, the Democrats recruited another fellow with the same name as the Republican incumbent Senator Dan Sullivan.
- 2:46[SPEAKER_00]: So there are now two Dan Sullivan's on the ballot.
- 2:50[SPEAKER_00]: So why on earth is the New York Times torpedoing Paltola's campaign?
- 2:57[SPEAKER_00]: Well, bottom line, they want to get ahead of what we're now learning to be a widening criminal investigation by the DOJ into the Paltola campaign.
- 3:08[SPEAKER_00]: Now originally, we found out this past weekend that the Justice Department was seeking a block certification.
- 3:16[SPEAKER_00]: If votes for the other Sullivan cost the incumbent victory, but now Fox News is reporting that multiple grand jury subpoenas are expecting the coming days over the Alaska ballot controversy in the New York Times.
- 3:31[SPEAKER_00]: And appears to have wanted to get ahead of those subpoenas.
- 3:34[SPEAKER_00]: Now, to be clear, as I understand it, recruiting a spoiler is not automatically a crime.
- 3:40[SPEAKER_00]: I think it ought to be, but for whatever reason it's not.
- 3:43[SPEAKER_00]: The legal question is whether anyone cross the line into violating voting rights, illegal financing, or lying under oath, not simply whether the scheme was deceptive, which it obviously was.
- 3:57[SPEAKER_00]: Federal investigators reportedly have examined two possible criminal theories, wire fraud and conspiracy to violate voter civil rights.
- 4:06[SPEAKER_00]: So a civil rights prosecution would invoke US code 18 section 241 which prohibits conspiracies to interfere with federally protected rights.
- 4:17[SPEAKER_00]: And so this is where the tax and the emails and the paper trail
- 4:21[SPEAKER_00]: would need to prove an agreement to violate voting rights.
- 4:26[SPEAKER_00]: And why are fraud would most likely involve using?
- 4:29[SPEAKER_00]: Interstating males to fraudulently obtain donations for the spoiler operation.
- 4:35[SPEAKER_00]: Separate offenses could arise if participants knowingly lied about material facts under oath or submitted false sworn declarations or made material false statements to federal investigators.
- 4:47[SPEAKER_00]: Those circumstances could indeed support perjury or false statement charges.
- 4:52[SPEAKER_00]: There could also be campaign finance charges, that's another possibility if there's evidence of prohibited contributions, unlawful coordinated spending or deliberately false disclosures.
- 5:03[SPEAKER_00]: For his part president Trump wasted absolutely no time in calling on Potola to drop out of the race and for Alaska officials to remove the second Dan Sullivan from its Senate ballot.
- 5:16[SPEAKER_00]: He's also alleging that Democratic operatives committed perjury by denying involvement under oath.
- 5:22[SPEAKER_00]: Unfortunately, the ballots are already finalized.
- 5:25[SPEAKER_00]: and already voting early voting is already well underway and election day will most likely have both Sullivan's on the ballot leaving voters to have to distinguish between them.
- 5:38[SPEAKER_00]: And that is where I think we're seeing a rather
- 5:42[SPEAKER_00]: Shall we say astonishing genius behind all of this, a particularly Trumpian genius, Trump's DOJ sued the New York Times broke the story and it's been picked up by every major media outlet and now everyone's talking about it.
- 6:00[SPEAKER_00]: It's become now a national story and even Rino Turncoat, Lisa McCousky, who endorsed the Democrat gut for governor, has turned her back on all of this.
- 6:12[SPEAKER_00]: So you got Trump highlighting the ballot stake and you got
- 6:16[SPEAKER_00]: The New York Times exposing Mary Patola's involvement in it.
- 6:20[SPEAKER_00]: You got Lisa McCousky.
- 6:23[SPEAKER_00]: She's not denouncing Trump.
- 6:25[SPEAKER_00]: She's denouncing Mary Patola.
- 6:27[SPEAKER_00]: And now everyone in Alaska knows about this.
- 6:31[SPEAKER_00]: They now all know.
- 6:33[SPEAKER_00]: that there's a fake dance Sullivan on the ballot, and they know it was intended by the Democrats to fool them, to deceive them.
- 6:44[SPEAKER_00]: So this is a perfect means of boosting turnout among Republicans who are going to come out and droves against this just to spite Petola.
- 6:53[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, this was absolutely brilliant.
- 6:55[SPEAKER_00]: Keep in mind, Patola was already struggling in this election.
- 6:58[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, forget the polls that show the contest.
- 7:01[SPEAKER_00]: A dead heat.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_00]: The early vote has been pretty devastating in Patola.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_00]: The electorate is estimated to be around plus nine Republican.
- 7:10[SPEAKER_00]: So that's very good, obviously, for Dan Sullivan.
- 7:13[SPEAKER_00]: But it's because when all said and done, the rules are just not showing up.
- 7:17[SPEAKER_00]: to vote if you don't know, it's interesting.
- 7:19[SPEAKER_00]: Alaska is the opposite of the lower 48.
- 7:22[SPEAKER_00]: There are urban areas, are the most heavily Republican.
- 7:27[SPEAKER_00]: Their rules are Democrat.
- 7:30[SPEAKER_00]: The rules are comprised of, you know, tribal, Eskimo indigenous populations at the Democrats have successfully exploited.
- 7:37[SPEAKER_00]: So the problem is that the natives
- 7:40[SPEAKER_00]: generally don't turn out for midterms and they're certainly not coming out for this one.
- 7:44[SPEAKER_00]: So, needless to say things were already looking rather dire for Potola, now it looks like her campaign has all but collapsed as a result of this revelation.
- 7:55[SPEAKER_00]: We'll have to see how it plays out.
- 7:57[SPEAKER_00]: But there is another state where the Republicans are absolutely crushing it in early voting a state.
- 8:02[SPEAKER_00]: We haven't looked at yet and that's exactly what we're going to see next.
- 8:07[SPEAKER_00]: With the mid-terms just weeks away, the legacy media is busy shaping how Americans see this election.
- 8:12[SPEAKER_00]: From selective coverage to politically charged headlines, what gets emphasized or ignored can change the entire narrative.
- 8:20[SPEAKER_00]: With control of Congress at stake, how can you be sure you're getting the full picture?
- 8:25[SPEAKER_00]: Ground news pulls headlines from over 50,000 news sources and makes it easier to understand what's actually happening.
- 8:32[SPEAKER_00]: You can see the political bias of each outlet, along with its reliability and even ownership insights.
- 8:38[SPEAKER_00]: With over 10,000 five star reviews, Ground News has even earned praise from the Nobel Peace Center as quote an excellent way to stay informed of Voideco Chambers and expand your world view.
- 8:51[SPEAKER_00]: Check it out for yourself at GroundNotNews slash Steve.
- 8:54[SPEAKER_00]: My favorite feature and one I've used here on the show is
- 8:57[SPEAKER_00]: is the blind spot feed.
- 8:59[SPEAKER_00]: It shows you which stories are blowing up on one side of the aisle, but barely mentioned on the other.
- 9:04[SPEAKER_00]: It's the clearest way to see media bias in action.
- 9:07[SPEAKER_00]: So for example, here's a story that's getting absolutely no coverage from the left.
- 9:12[SPEAKER_00]: It's on how the justice department just announced charges.
- 9:17[SPEAKER_00]: on 16 non-citizens for alleged election crimes tied to the 2024 presidential election spanning four different states.
- 9:25[SPEAKER_00]: Now of course the right as its blind spots as well but now you'll know with every story ground news shows you the entire spectrum of whose reporting from left right and center how reliable each source is and who owns each outlet.
- 9:40[SPEAKER_00]: It's
- 9:40[SPEAKER_00]: everything the corporate press doesn't want you to see.
- 9:44[SPEAKER_00]: Right now, you can get 40% off the vantage plan, which gives you unlimited access to all the features that I personally use.
- 9:51[SPEAKER_00]: Just visit ground.news slash Steve, click the link description or scan the QR code.
- 9:57[SPEAKER_00]: That's ground.news slash Steve.
- 10:01[SPEAKER_00]: So we've been focusing on what we've been calling the Big Three Florida, Texas, and Arizona, where the Republicans have taken the lead in early voting, and now they're just, they're frankly, they're taken off.
- 10:12[SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't look like they'll be looking back from there.
- 10:15[SPEAKER_00]: And we've also been keeping our eyes on Ohio, where it looks like the Republicans are poised to dominate the state in the overall vote.
- 10:23[SPEAKER_00]: The Democrat lead in early voting in Ohio is smaller than it was in 22 and 24 when the Republicans went on to win decisively.
- 10:33[SPEAKER_00]: But now we have another state, Ohio's neighbor that's giving us some significant early vote returns where we look like we're in a position to make some projections at this point.
- 10:44[SPEAKER_00]: And it's the state of Iowa.
- 10:46[SPEAKER_00]: Now again,
- 10:47[SPEAKER_00]: Another competitive Senate race, when it comes at least to the polls, featuring the Republican Ashley Hinsen, and we're seeing the very same pattern in actual voting, forget the polls, actual voting, that we've seen in Ohio and Texas and Florida, Arizona.
- 11:08[SPEAKER_00]: The Democrats appear to be exhausting.
- 11:11[SPEAKER_00]: They're high-prepensity vote, those are the voters that
- 11:16[SPEAKER_00]: all the while the Republicans continue to gain and grow all the way into election day.
- 11:21[SPEAKER_00]: So on day one and early person voting, Democrats led by nearly 30 points, 27 points, fast forward to day seven and that advantage dropped to 22 points.
- 11:34[SPEAKER_00]: by day nine, it narrowed to 18 points.
- 11:37[SPEAKER_00]: By day 14, the lead dwindled to 15 points, that's a 12 percentage point contraction in the Democratic margin over 14 days.
- 11:49[SPEAKER_00]: And it's only going to get less and less and less.
- 11:52[SPEAKER_00]: And Iowa is significantly redder now than it was in 2022.
- 11:57[SPEAKER_00]: They were at this point upwards of 54.
- 12:00[SPEAKER_00]: Democrats were 54% of the early vote in 2022, whereas now they're 50%.
- 12:06[SPEAKER_00]: So they're four points to the right.
- 12:08[SPEAKER_00]: So Iowa's redder than it was in 2022, and the Republicans won all statewide races by double digits.
- 12:15[SPEAKER_00]: and that's because 75% of the Iowa vote is on election day and it's overwhelmingly dominated by the conservative deep red rules.
- 12:24[SPEAKER_00]: So at this point, it doesn't look like Ashley Hinson is going to have any problem winning the Senate.
- 12:31[SPEAKER_00]: So then, if that's the case, if we take a step back here and take stock of what we have, I see Republicans holding Maine, I've been pretty consistent with that, that Susan Collins sees.
- 12:42[SPEAKER_00]: She's just, she's Democrat, Kryptonite.
- 12:45[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know how she does it, but she ends up always pulling it off.
- 12:50[SPEAKER_00]: Over and over and over again.
- 12:51[SPEAKER_00]: She's a multiple term in common and she just seems to win in the Democrats state They like Susan Collins.
- 12:58[SPEAKER_00]: So I think she's gonna win in Maine I don't think their Democrat candidate is particularly strong So I've got Republicans winning in Maine obviously Florida Texas Ohio there's no major statewide election outside of their gubernatorial in Arizona
- 13:15[SPEAKER_00]: Ohio Iowa and now it increasingly looks like Alaska.
- 13:21[SPEAKER_00]: So like I've been saying of late, I don't think, unfortunately, Mike Wattley can pull it off in North Carolina.
- 13:29[SPEAKER_00]: We'll see.
- 13:29[SPEAKER_00]: I don't want to discourage if you guys are North Carolina, get out there, vote, bring your friends, all that.
- 13:34[SPEAKER_00]: But bottom line times running out.
- 13:37[SPEAKER_00]: and you've got just literally a few more days to make an impact before election day.
- 13:43[SPEAKER_00]: So we'll just have to see if the Republicans turn out the way they need to in North Carolina.
- 13:48[SPEAKER_00]: But regardless, with all of that, with Maine, with Florida, Texas, Ohio, Iowa, and Alaska, that's 52 Senate seats.
- 14:00[SPEAKER_00]: That's 52.
- 14:01[SPEAKER_00]: We're currently a 53.
- 14:03[SPEAKER_00]: I do believe that Mike Rogers is poised to pull off the grand upset in Michigan.
- 14:09[SPEAKER_00]: He certainly poised to do that.
- 14:11[SPEAKER_00]: Whether he can do it or not, it's a different question.
- 14:14[SPEAKER_00]: But if he does, that's 53.
- 14:16[SPEAKER_00]: So that's what the map as I see it looks like right now at this point.
- 14:20[SPEAKER_00]: Again, anything can change.
- 14:22[SPEAKER_00]: There's absolutely no time to get complacent.
- 14:25[SPEAKER_00]: I am not no
- 14:30[SPEAKER_00]: I'll be doing a video later on on what happens if the Democrats actually do pull off a win.
- 14:36[SPEAKER_00]: What that?
- 14:37[SPEAKER_00]: So we simply can't let the foot off the pedal here.
- 14:40[SPEAKER_00]: Get everyone you know to the polls and let's win this for Trump, for Magga and for the future of America.
