- 0:00Speaker 1: All right, it's time for Stacks and Hacks. I have
- 0:01Speaker 1: stacks of information, and Rich has life hacks of information.
- 0:06Speaker 1: My information is stuff that you can just kind of
- 0:08Speaker 1: drop on people for fun, like this weekend. You're going
- 0:09Speaker 1: to be like, boom, hey, did you know this? Like,
- 0:11Speaker 1: did you guys know? Do you guys know what the
- 0:13Speaker 1: best-selling cassette tape is of all time?
- 0:15Speaker 2: Cassette tape. Michael Jackson. I was going to say Michael
- 0:17Speaker 2: Jackson something. Oh, that's a good guess.
- 0:20Speaker 3: Ooh.
- 0:22Speaker 2: Cassette?
- 0:23Speaker 1: It sold 45 million copies worldwide.
- 0:25Speaker 2: It's got to be like something in the 80s. Yeah,
- 0:27Speaker 2: so much bigger than Michael Jackson in the 80s.
- 0:29Speaker 4: Cindy Lauper, girls just want to have fun.
- 0:31Speaker 1: Whitney Houston's The Bodyguard Sandra.
- 0:33Speaker 2: Yeah, there we go.
- 0:35Speaker 1: Do you know that when a murderer is put to death,
- 0:38Speaker 1: like on death row and they're executed, do you know
- 0:40Speaker 1: what they put on the death certificate as official cause
- 0:42Speaker 1: of death? Anyone know?
- 0:44Speaker 4: Electricity.
- 0:45Speaker 3: No, homicide.
- 0:46Speaker 2: Homicide.
- 0:47Speaker 3: Oh.
- 0:47Speaker 2: Really? Well, I guess technically they were murdered. That's a murder. Interesting.
- 0:51Speaker 1: Something you never really think about.
- 0:52Speaker 2: I know. Saves a lot of extra paperwork, I guess.
- 0:54Speaker 1: Did you know that 80% of NFL players go broke
- 0:58Speaker 1: within the first three to five years of retirement?
- 1:00Speaker 2: I believe that.
- 1:02Speaker 3: 80%.
- 1:03Speaker 2: Wow.
- 1:03Speaker 4: That's when you need a baddie in your life to
- 1:07Speaker 4: help guide you.
- 1:08Speaker 3: But I also feel like the NFL is now like,
- 1:13Speaker 3: they're giving their players financial training and stuff like that.
- 1:15Speaker 1: They should.
- 1:16Speaker 4: Because it's so easy to put money on like the
- 1:18Speaker 4: shiny things, you know.
- 1:19Speaker 3: Well, no, you get used to having these giant paychecks
- 1:22Speaker 3: all the time. And when they just disappear, they don't
- 1:24Speaker 3: know what to do. Right.
- 1:25Speaker 1: So this Kyle Payne, I believe you two can only
- 1:28Speaker 1: participate in this. Rich, you can try, I guess. But
- 1:30Speaker 1: the new survey, 50% of women say when they get home,
- 1:33Speaker 1: they are in a hurry to take off their bra.
- 1:38Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:39Speaker 2: No, I usually take off my pants.
- 1:41Speaker 3: And put some sweatpants on.
- 1:42Speaker 2: ID robe immediately.
- 1:44Speaker 1: 87% of women say they struggle finding good fitting clothing
- 1:47Speaker 1: and bras are the most common frustration followed by jeans
- 1:51Speaker 1: and swimsuits. 62% of women say they think about taking
- 1:56Speaker 1: off their bra multiple times a day.
- 1:59Speaker 2: I don't mind my bra. It's my little buddy.
- 2:02Speaker 1: And for some reason, this is a weird statistic, but
- 2:05Speaker 1: women in Kentucky think about taking it off five times
- 2:08Speaker 1: a day.
- 2:09Speaker 2: Wow, what's going on there? Humidity must be making it
- 2:12Speaker 2: feel different. Oh, yeah, that would be very uncomfortable.
- 2:14Speaker 1: 24% of women admit they unclasped their bra within the
- 2:17Speaker 1: first 60 seconds of walking through the door, and those
- 2:20Speaker 1: are from people, women from Mississippi, Arizona, and Tennessee.
- 2:23Speaker 3: Yeah, no, I.
- 2:24Speaker 4: Totally get that, though. I will say, though, sometimes when
- 2:27Speaker 4: those clasps don't go off and I have to ask...
- 2:30Speaker 4: my husband, Kadeem, and he can get it off easily,
- 2:32Speaker 4: it kind of makes me mad. Because like, how do
- 2:33Speaker 4: you have that practice? Making me angry over here.
- 2:35Speaker 1: You don't know how he has that practice?
- 2:37Speaker 2: Yeah. I could take a brawl in two seconds. Exactly.
- 2:40Speaker 4: I know.
- 2:41Speaker 1: Like this.
- 2:41Speaker 2: But I know, that's literally all I think.
- 2:43Speaker 4: And I turn around and then I'm mad at him
- 2:45Speaker 4: for like, the next two hours at least pretend like
- 2:48Speaker 4: you're struggling fiddle around a little bit i.
- 2:50Speaker 2: Haven't seen one of these before what do you need
- 2:52Speaker 2: me to.
- 2:52Speaker 4: Do like just lie to me is it like a
- 2:54Speaker 4: magnet please lie.
- 2:55Speaker 3: To me so do i use two hands squeeze.
- 3:00Speaker 1: It i've never seen one of these capri sun knows
- 3:03Speaker 1: their usual pouches don't last long so they're testing a
- 3:06Speaker 1: super side version it's called the big pouch It can
- 3:09Speaker 1: hold 20 ounces, which is more than three times the
- 3:11Speaker 1: size of the original.
- 3:12Speaker 2: Oh, yes.
- 3:12Speaker 3: I love this idea.
- 3:13Speaker 4: It's not the same. Like, have you seen the Capri Suns?
- 3:16Speaker 4: They have them in the gallon. And it's just, it
- 3:18Speaker 4: tastes better in the pouch.
- 3:20Speaker 2: But this is going to be a big pouch. It's
- 3:22Speaker 2: a big, giant pouch. Okay, maybe I'll try it.
- 3:24Speaker 1: Yeah, and then you don't have to, like, drink five
- 3:25Speaker 1: of them.
- 3:25Speaker 2: Yeah, because you get, like, three, four sips, good pulls
- 3:28Speaker 2: out of a regular pouch.
- 3:29Speaker 4: So do they make the straw bigger, too?
- 3:30Speaker 2: Because I don't think that's small of a straw.
- 3:32Speaker 1: You've got to. You've got to. A library in New
- 3:36Speaker 1: Hampshire said a man named Jan came in to return
- 3:39Speaker 1: a September 1894 issue of the Century Illustrated Monthly Magazine. Yes, 1894.
- 3:46Speaker 1: So whoever borrowed it from the library had been dead
- 3:48Speaker 1: a long time. But John told librarians the magazine... had
- 3:51Speaker 1: been at his home for years. He doesn't know how
- 3:53Speaker 1: he wound up there. The magazine was 48,220 days overdue,
- 3:58Speaker 1: which would have cost $ 12, 000 and 55 cents. But the
- 4:02Speaker 1: library waived it.
- 4:03Speaker 3: Oh, God.
- 4:03Speaker 2: They waived it. I'd like you to check it out, though.
- 4:06Speaker 2: I mean, if you want. It's back in the library. Yeah,
- 4:08Speaker 2: I guess so. That's wild.
- 4:09Speaker 1: What do you got for Life Hacks, Rich?
- 4:10Speaker 2: All right. Well, if you want to live longer, the
- 4:13Speaker 2: question is, are drinks good for you or not good
- 4:15Speaker 2: for you? So we went deep here at John Jay
- 4:18Speaker 2: and Rich into the Life Hacks science department. Um, you've
- 4:21Speaker 2: heard that moderate drinkers live a lot longer. In fact,
- 4:23Speaker 2: you always hear about people that live to a hundred.
- 4:25Speaker 2: Like I have a drink of whiskey every day. That
- 4:27Speaker 2: has nothing to do with the whiskey. They just have
- 4:29Speaker 2: really good genes. So, uh, it doesn't really cause them
- 4:32Speaker 2: to live longer, but they do say that, you know,
- 4:35Speaker 2: if you drink a nightly glass of wine and you
- 4:38Speaker 2: hang out with your friends and family, that can make
- 4:40Speaker 2: you healthier. So it's all about having friends and family
- 4:44Speaker 2: and people that you love. So, uh, Before you drink alone,
- 4:47Speaker 2: think about that. Drink with somebody else. That life hack
- 4:50Speaker 2: and many more can be found at johnjohnrich.com.
