  At least he is in my life. And he's been the man of the hour for the last two months, really.

  What put him, I believe, I guess I hadn't followed him before,

  so I did not know about him until he went on the podcast with Billy Carson that

  really just changed everything.

  My cousin was the one who shared the video with me of that podcast,

  and I was just blown away of what happened.

  I'd heard of Billy Carson, followed a couple of his things, but he went on that

  show and he completely just dismantled Billy Carson and his whole argument.

  So what is happening right now? Who is Wes Huff?

  We're going to do a little bit of research on him, a little bit of internet

  stalking just to find out who this guy is.

  Because whenever I saw that, you could say it's the debate.

  It was supposed to be just a casual conversation podcast. and I don't,

  I don't think Billy Carson knew what he was walking into whenever it happened,

  but regardless or irregardless, either one, I don't know which one goes in this context.

  when Billy Carson was just kind of just sitting there on the sidelines.

  I don't want to go into too much about that, but like even to kind of relitigate that whole situation.

  That's what threw Wes Huff on the map.

  Cause, and I'm surprised it's not as huge.

  I'm surprised I'm not walking into the grocery store and someone else is not

  grabbing me by the collar and saying, have you heard about Wes Huff?

  I'm surprised about that. I guess I get enamored.

  I get enamored very easily because whenever I saw the debate with Billy Carson,

  I was immediately like, Wes Huff is now, he is my go-to Christian apologist.

  Just, I loved everything he said. And I know he's not a perfect man. Nobody is.

  But the things that just the confidence, the gravitas that Wes Huff had

  It was just astounding. It's just like he knew what he was talking about.

  He knew the things that he believed and he was able to articulate it so amazingly.

  So it was incredible to watch. It was absolutely incredible to watch.

  And so I tweeted out, I probably tweeted out, I do a lot of things,

  but I sent out, I created a video and I said, Wes Huff is now my go-to Christian apologist.

  All right, fast forward a little bit. The big news of the day,

  the big news that's happening right now, Wes Huff, he has gone on Joe Rogan's show.

  And if anybody knows anything about what I do here and the videos that I've

  created, I absolutely am.

  I don't want to say in love, but I love myself some Joe Rogan.

  I do. And I don't hide it. I'm not ashamed of it.

  I'm completely upfront and honest about it. I love Joe Rogan.

  So I'm scrolling on my ex yesterday on in Twitter, and I see this pop up. Wes Huff tweets.

  Just leaves it at that. A man of few words. But it is that standard,

  traditional pose that Joe Rogan does with his guests that arm around the shoulder

  and said, we just did something.

  We just created something amazing.

  So this gets just put in front of me. This gets put in front of me.

  And I'm like, what just happened?

  And then I'm seeing Ruslan creating a video about it as well.

  He put something out there about what's happening, about what's about to go

  down and what's about to be released. Cause it's out there.

  The feelers are out there. You know, we know something's about to happen.

  when Donald Trump went on the Joe Rogan show.

  As you can see, my, my voice hits a different octave when I start talking about

  certain things that I get excited about.

  So now fast forward to today, December 31st, New Year's Eve.

  We think this is the next show that's going to be released by Joe Rogan because

  Wes Huff just put this out there that he had this video or he had this conversation with him.

  What gets released today is not, it is not that at all.

  Let's actually go to Joe Rogan. But instead today, Joe Rogan releases a video

  and it's the Joe Rogan Experience 2249 with Yanis Pappas and Chris DiStefano.

  right, I like him a lot as well. He's awesome.

  So it leaves us hanging in the balance. We got this cliffhanger that is just

  out there that we know Wes Huff has went on there. You know,

  We're analyzing this pretty tightly. What incredible thing happened besides

  Who is Wes Huff? So I wanted to go into a little bit of details just to do some

  internet stalking, just like I said. So let's do some internet stalking.

  I did the standard who is Wes Huff on Google, and he's an apologist.

  Apologist. That is just someone that defends the faith. He is a Christian.

  Praise God, he is a Christian. So this is weshuff.com. He's got his own website about him.

  And as I've started to subscribe to Wes, a lot of his older videos are starting

  to be thrown into my feed and all that so I can start watching them.

  I've caught up on a couple of them, but there's definitely a lot more out there.

  And that's not to say that everything he's done before is as good as gold.

  You know, we as Christians, we are not perfect.

  We do not. We're not perfect in any way. And our teaching is not always perfect.

  But I know and I believe that his teaching he's striving to be.

  And just hearing what he was able to teach and communicate was just so amazing.

  He's very informed with the ancient languages.

  So I wanted to read this. This is his bio that I was able to find from his website.

  So Wes Huff was born in Multan, Pakistan and spent, so I'm wondering,

  I wonder if his family was missionaries or what, why he was born over there.

  Or maybe he was just, maybe that's, maybe he's Pakistani. I don't know.

  I have no idea. Wesley Huff was born in Multan, Pakistan and spent a portion
• 7:46
  of his childhood in the Middle East after being diagnosed with a rare neurological
• 7:50
  condition at the age of 11 that left him paralyzed from the waist down.

  Wes experienced a miraculous recovery that doctors themselves said they had
• 7:59
  no medical explanation for.

  This experience, along with a great deal of study and soul searching in his
• 8:04
  later teens, solidified his interest in the subjects of faith and engaging the
• 8:10
  beliefs and worldview perspectives of others.

  He spent his high school years in the Northern Ontarian and currently lives

  in Toronto, Canada with his wife, Melissa, their son, all that.

  So he's Canadian.

  So I'm interested. He was born in Pakistan.

  Pakistan. I'm really interested in that. I mean, people are born everywhere,

  you know, but I'm wondering if his family was missionaries or maybe he's just from that area.

  I'm not sure. He holds a BA in sociology from New York University,

  a master's in theological studies from Tyndale University, and is currently

  doing his PhD in New Testament at the University of Toronto-Witcliffe College.

  For five years, Wes worked as a writer, researcher, and speaker for Power to Change.

  Wes is currently the Central Canada Director for Apologetics Canada and has

  participated in numerous public dialogues.

  So either way, I'm glad he's a Christian. Praise God. That is awesome.

  The Apostle Paul writes that not many, not many who are called are wise according to the flesh.

  Not many are mighty. Not many are noble. But God has chosen the foolish things to shame the wise.

  So, but there, not many doesn't mean that, not all. So there are some wise according

  to the flesh that are out there.

  Wes Huff is one, you know? So thank God he is on our side.

  there that is, that has the, the knowledge, the, the, the blessing of wisdom.

  And it just has that stature.

  I think it's just amazing. I think we should rejoice in it. You know, they're still a man.

  They still are imperfect like everyone else, but it's, it's awesome when we

  do see the occasional person that has it, has it all together in a sense,

  in a sense, you know, I think I'm just overly enamored right now.

  I'm just pumped up and excited and I'm very pumped up to see this,

  this conversation that went down.

  So some of the things that he did, in the debate.

  Really, I've, the main thing was the Billy Carson debate that really put him

  on there. He was so just courteous.

  He was so just gentlemanly, I guess,

  with like, he, not at all, like just trying to like make someone look,

  make someone look bad at all, but he brought facts to, to the debate and everything
• 11:52
  that, that Billy Carson would say, he had a good strong counter to it.

  And he would just, he would address whatever Billy Carson said,

  and he didn't make him look overly foolish and didn't beat him down in that way at all.

  And he listened to everything Billy Carson said in their conversation and didn't
• 12:11
  just dismiss anything so that it was clear the holes that were in Billy Carson's arguments.

  And he did it so like, the word that I'm just thinking of is gentlemanly.

  He was, he was nice about it. He was good about it. He, you know, He wasn't bombastic.

  He wasn't obnoxious or anything like that. He was just straightforward.

  The things that Billy Carson would say, he would just say, sure.

  He would say, sure, and he would answer them, and he would address everything

  that Billy Carson brought up.

  He didn't try to just dismiss something and skate past something so that he

  could get to his own, what he wanted to talk through.

  But what Billy Carson brought up, he went at it head on. So I'm this,

  I had to create this video like before it actually goes out there either way.

  Thank God he's a Christian. That's all that matters. He's a brother in Christ. He's won me over.

  He's won me over, but I would just say this conversation is going to be awesome.

  We have a lot still to learn, but he's going on the biggest platform in the planet, Joe Rogan.
