- 1:06Speaker 4: We got Benji Vaughan on the job today. Phones open
- 1:09Speaker 4: eight seven seven forty four. Woodie, send us a text
- 1:12Speaker 4: over to two to nine eight seven is the beginning
- 1:16Speaker 4: of Nark Week. Ladies and Gentlemen Way Justice. So it
- 1:19Speaker 4: is a Shark week on Discovery. It is Nark Week,
- 1:22Speaker 4: cart and Arc Week here on The Woody Show. And
- 1:25Speaker 4: some special surprises throughout the week. New features with yeah,
- 1:28Speaker 4: some new features. They do that every year for Discovery too.
- 1:30Speaker 3: And they do they come up them something. Yeah.
- 1:34Speaker 4: I was watching another one of these videos where there
- 1:37Speaker 4: are some you know, unaware swimmers. These are like some
- 1:41Speaker 4: kids used that big ass great white shark fields just
- 1:45Speaker 4: kind of I think it's in Malibu and the thing
- 1:49Speaker 4: is like they've always been there. What the difference is
- 1:52Speaker 4: you didn't have drones. And I agree with the comments
- 1:56Speaker 4: people on all these comments whenever they you know, paddle
- 1:58Speaker 4: boarders or here's some swimmers and there are sharks going around.
- 2:01Speaker 4: If I see a drone hovering around where I'm swimming, yeah,
- 2:06Speaker 4: I'm getting the fl Yeah, that's the new warning. That's
- 2:10Speaker 4: the new shark warning?
- 2:11Speaker 3: Is that?
- 2:12Speaker 4: And worth? They talking about that at one point like
- 2:14Speaker 4: they were gonna have drones hovering above certain beaches where
- 2:17Speaker 4: there were known like you know, like a heavier concentration
- 2:20Speaker 4: and it would sound like an alarm of some kind
- 2:23Speaker 4: if it spotted something in the water, Like all right,
- 2:25Speaker 4: that's cool, maybe it's time to get out. Today July
- 2:27Speaker 4: twenty seventh is bagpipe Appreciation Day. I have none.
- 2:31Speaker 3: You will not partake.
- 2:32Speaker 4: Got I hate bagpipes. Today menace is National Chicken Finger Days. Yeah,
- 2:40Speaker 4: where are we're going?
- 2:41Speaker 5: I do?
- 2:42Speaker 6: By the way, I tried the costco ones. Oh yeah,
- 2:44Speaker 6: they were actually really good. A venis I think you'd
- 2:46Speaker 6: like them and they give you a lot of bang
- 2:48Speaker 6: for your book. It's a lot of a lot of
- 2:49Speaker 6: fingers in the interesting.
- 2:50Speaker 4: All right, it's a National crem brewle at Day. It
- 2:54Speaker 4: is National New Jersey Day. Shout out to the dry wallers.
- 2:58Speaker 4: It's walk on stilts Day. I think that's kind of cool.
- 3:02Speaker 3: I think it's really cool.
- 3:03Speaker 4: Like when you watch dudes who are really good at
- 3:05Speaker 4: drywall and how quick they are with like cutting, taping, mudding,
- 3:09Speaker 4: doing all that stuff. And especially the guys who are
- 3:11Speaker 4: doing the ceilings and stuff.
- 3:12Speaker 3: They're on the still and they have the screw gun.
- 3:15Speaker 4: It's just yeah, that stuff is super cool man, so
- 3:18Speaker 4: rad Yeah, nice, nice work. Let's see. And today is
- 3:23Speaker 4: National sleepy head Day. How's how's that going? Gina? Have
- 3:27Speaker 4: you figured anything out about that? We had an after
- 3:30Speaker 4: hours VOICEMAILM yeah, here's h here's somebody left us a
- 3:34Speaker 4: message eight seven seven WOODI.
- 3:37Speaker 7: Hi, I just wanted to do a check up on Gina. Gina,
- 3:45Speaker 7: I like, you cannot sleep for crap. Every night, I get,
- 3:48Speaker 7: on average about three hours to maybe four hours of sleep.
- 3:51Speaker 7: And I understand your pain and the insanity that comes
- 3:55Speaker 7: behind it. And I too got myself an or ring
- 3:59Speaker 7: after hearing what he talk about how it's been helpful
- 4:02Speaker 7: for him with his sleep. But I have found that
- 4:05Speaker 7: the Ora ring has been lending itself to way more
- 4:08Speaker 7: anxieties than anything. Every morning, when I check my Ora rings,
- 4:13Speaker 7: my heart's pounding because I'm like, what's my sleep score
- 4:16Speaker 7: may be? And then every time, even though without fail,
- 4:19Speaker 7: I get like an absolute crap score. I get so infuriated,
- 4:23Speaker 7: and I just find myself that it's not as helpful
- 4:26Speaker 7: as it is more anxiety and do things. So I
- 4:29Speaker 7: just want to do a little welfare check on Gina
- 4:31Speaker 7: and see how she's doing and how you're enjoying or hating.
- 4:35Speaker 3: The or ring.
- 4:35Speaker 7: He alway, love you guys, talk to you later.
- 4:38Speaker 6: Bye bye.
- 4:40Speaker 4: He's so right. Oh my god.
- 4:42Speaker 8: That's why I didn't want the or ring because I
- 4:44Speaker 8: didn't want it to confirm anything.
- 4:45Speaker 4: So what he's talking about and what Gina is confirming,
- 4:48Speaker 4: it sounds like you need a therapist. Yeah, I mean
- 4:51Speaker 4: I know, I don't. It's an or ring can give
- 4:53Speaker 4: you such anxiety. No, No, it's you just can't.
- 4:57Speaker 9: Eve's that hard.
- 4:58Speaker 4: But it's a to give you some insight, like I okay,
- 5:02Speaker 4: stand like maybe adjust my schedule. Maybe I'm getting better sleep.
- 5:05Speaker 4: But I get home from doing this weird you know
- 5:07Speaker 4: schedule that we have, which is what I figured out. Yeah.
- 5:10Speaker 8: Yeah, for me, it's not really the sleep score, as
- 5:12Speaker 8: jeff Gy and I have discussed many times, it's the
- 5:14Speaker 8: sleep debt. I'm like, what do you mean, I meant
- 5:17Speaker 8: seven hours into sleep debate that I need so make
- 5:19Speaker 8: it up.
- 5:20Speaker 4: The idea is to figure it out so that you
- 5:22Speaker 4: can get that score up. I started with the terrible
- 5:24Speaker 4: scores as well, and you know what, here here's my score.
- 5:28Speaker 4: Boom ninety three never ever weekday. Yeah, ninety three on
- 5:33Speaker 4: a weekday. Good for you. Yeah, but it takes a
- 5:36Speaker 4: long time. It's like anything else. It's like you've worked
- 5:39Speaker 4: out once, right, and you're expecting to have the v
- 5:42Speaker 4: greg you know, No, yeah, that one.
- 5:45Speaker 10: It's like it's a work in progress.
- 5:48Speaker 8: That once and realized how much it hurt and didn't
- 5:50Speaker 8: change anything. And now I'm depressed. So I understand.
- 5:53Speaker 3: So you got it.
- 5:53Speaker 4: You just got to keep working out.
- 5:54Speaker 8: I shall do that.
- 5:55Speaker 4: Yeah, I think I think it works great. If you're
- 5:58Speaker 4: if you're gonna make y'all like it's gonna make you
- 5:59Speaker 4: not that's about that kind of thing. Well, then yeah, Okay.
- 6:02Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 6:03Speaker 8: Now, I always say all information is good information, but
- 6:05Speaker 8: it is like, God, damn it. I actually thought I
- 6:07Speaker 8: slept well, the ring says I didn't.
- 6:09Speaker 4: Right, And you have to go into it looking to
- 6:11Speaker 4: get insight, not to get pissed. Yeah, you're it's there
- 6:15Speaker 4: for information, got it?
- 6:16Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 6:16Speaker 4: Eight seven, seven forty four. What you can always give
- 6:19Speaker 4: us your after hours voicemail, whatever you got. Let's get
- 6:22Speaker 4: into some birthdays and your part of birthday it's shiver da.

- 9:15Speaker 4: Greg is one of the smartest people I know, and
- 9:18Speaker 4: for certain things, one of the dumbest people I know.
- 9:20Speaker 3: Really dumb.
- 9:20Speaker 4: Am I going crazy?
- 9:22Speaker 3: Am I back dumbs?
- 9:23Speaker 4: I don't have that other side like you where you're
- 9:25Speaker 4: really smart. All right, here, you're too generous.
- 9:29Speaker 9: The Woody Show.
- 9:31Speaker 4: And we're in two another new hour. It is the
- 9:35Speaker 4: Woody Show. I'm modding. That's Greg Gory, That's Menace. What's up? Hi,
- 9:39Speaker 4: We've got Gina grad phones are open eight seven seven
- 9:42Speaker 4: forty four, Woodie says the text over to two two
- 9:46Speaker 4: nine eight seven. Check in on some cheers and jeers.
- 9:50Speaker 4: We'll start with you, Menace.
- 9:52Speaker 9: Well, had a great weekend with you actually, Woody and
- 9:54Speaker 9: our friends in Las Vegas.
- 9:56Speaker 3: Uh.
- 9:57Speaker 9: It was fun to hang out a new spot. Usually
- 9:59Speaker 9: we have a yearly trip and we hang out a
- 10:02Speaker 9: certain pool, but now we tried a new pool and
- 10:04Speaker 9: it was awesome.
- 10:05Speaker 12: And then we hit a couple of restaurants and.
- 10:07Speaker 4: It's like a it's like a pool cabana day. So
- 10:09Speaker 4: you can go into any of the hotels and resorts
- 10:11Speaker 4: and they can you see him. They have these nice
- 10:13Speaker 4: cabanas off the side. They bring food and drinks and
- 10:16Speaker 4: everything else. It's dope. I wish I had one of those.
- 10:18Speaker 5: It's not.
- 10:25Speaker 4: You, but anyways, it was.
- 10:28Speaker 9: It was a really good time. And then you actually
- 10:31Speaker 9: introduced me to Mother Wolf, the restaurant. I've heard a
- 10:33Speaker 9: lot about it, but I've never been there. They had
- 10:36Speaker 9: one on property and it was delicious.
- 10:38Speaker 4: Rules Yeah, we were at the Fountain Blue Blue, Yeah,
- 10:44Speaker 4: which is which is a nice place. I don't see
- 10:46Speaker 4: how it survives. Really was so big and it's so
- 10:49Speaker 4: empty and.
- 10:50Speaker 9: It's so yeah good though, Yeah, it's it's great.
- 10:54Speaker 4: The rooms are nice and everything else, and the pool
- 10:57Speaker 4: thing was a great experience and everything else.
- 10:59Speaker 12: Food's awesome.
- 11:00Speaker 4: It's not unique to that place. I mean, like, look
- 11:02Speaker 4: at Resorts World, look at all these other places. There's
- 11:04Speaker 4: nobody's there's just nobody there.
- 11:06Speaker 6: Wow.
- 11:07Speaker 4: Vegas is in some trouble with some of that stuff.
- 11:10Speaker 4: It's it's weird because it's so expensive that people, you know,
- 11:13Speaker 4: used to be one of those where it was like
- 11:15Speaker 4: a mega cheap you can just go there because it
- 11:18Speaker 4: was cheaper to go there, and maybe even though you
- 11:20Speaker 4: weren't rich, you could live like you were rich for
- 11:22Speaker 4: a weekend. Now it's like you got to be rich.
- 11:23Speaker 4: It's a special occasion place.
- 11:25Speaker 8: Wait a second, So you're not getting any hot deals
- 11:27Speaker 8: even though these hotels are empty.
- 11:29Speaker 4: No, wow, no, no, there's there's no you have to
- 11:32Speaker 4: go to like old Vegas or whatever. And the problem
- 11:35Speaker 4: is that I was reading about this is that a
- 11:37Speaker 4: lot of the resorts during COVID that try to make
- 11:39Speaker 4: ends meet or try to, you know, figure out the financials.
- 11:42Speaker 4: They used to own the land that the that the
- 11:44Speaker 4: property sat on, they sold it to the private investor people,
- 11:47Speaker 4: and so now they're leasing it back from the private
- 11:49Speaker 4: investor people sometimes for over a billion dollars a month.
- 11:54Speaker 4: So where they used to be able to offer drinks
- 11:55Speaker 4: and food vouchers and deals on rooms and things like that,
- 11:58Speaker 4: they can't. They have to up everything thirty five dollars parking, yeah,
- 12:01Speaker 4: and you know, seventeen dollars waters and all these other
- 12:05Speaker 4: resort fee. Which is why, which is why it's hard
- 12:08Speaker 4: for them to make the business work. So something's gonna
- 12:10Speaker 4: something's gonna have to happen.
- 12:11Speaker 9: Because there's a couple of properties that are doing all
- 12:14Speaker 9: inclusive deals, which I think.
- 12:17Speaker 3: Show and the room.
- 12:19Speaker 4: Well, you can still get some pretty decent deals, like
- 12:21Speaker 4: in old Vegas down I know, but a lot of
- 12:24Speaker 4: the stuff on the strip is in trouble because of
- 12:26Speaker 4: those Because of those factors I never really understood, because
- 12:29Speaker 4: there's still people there and people are gambling, and you go, well,
- 12:33Speaker 4: how are they not making just a ton of money
- 12:36Speaker 4: every minute? Well, it's not. They're not making money. They
- 12:38Speaker 4: take the gambling from year to year, it's pretty flat,
- 12:41Speaker 4: like people are still gambling. Those those numbers are the same,
- 12:44Speaker 4: But when it comes to their profits and stuff, it's
- 12:46Speaker 4: because they it's how McDonald's. Yeah, it's how McDonald's owns
- 12:51Speaker 4: the land that these restaurants sit on, even though it's
- 12:53Speaker 4: you know, franchised. Wow, you know, the McDonald's people own
- 12:57Speaker 4: the land and so you have to lease it back
- 12:59Speaker 4: and look at that amount of space that takes and
- 13:03Speaker 4: you have a really good location. Some of these places
- 13:05Speaker 4: are paying up to a billion dollars a month. Yeah,
- 13:09Speaker 4: you just so before one person even walks in, they're
- 13:13Speaker 4: already a billion dollars in the hole for that month,
- 13:16Speaker 4: which is why the math don't math.
- 13:18Speaker 3: Yeah, but if you and I gamble, there's the rest
- 13:20Speaker 3: for the year.
- 13:20Speaker 4: It's not that Vegas sucks. Vegas is great and the
- 13:23Speaker 4: resorts are great and it's a really cool thing. But
- 13:25Speaker 4: like you know, the math is tough right now, and
- 13:28Speaker 4: so it'll be interesting to see how that all plays
- 13:30Speaker 4: out over the next handful of years because it's not sustainable.
- 13:34Speaker 8: Well, of course, not people stop coming.
- 13:36Speaker 3: It's all entertainment because I think it's gotten less fun
- 13:39Speaker 3: because of that.
- 13:40Speaker 4: Well, the show's great. The restaurants are great, like all
- 13:43Speaker 4: those other things, everything else, everything that you loved about it,
- 13:46Speaker 4: like the things themselves. Take the price tag off everything.
- 13:49Speaker 4: All those things are still there and they're still great.
- 13:51Speaker 4: It's just that a lot of those things are have
- 13:53Speaker 4: become unattainable for many people.
- 13:56Speaker 8: Yeah, because even on stuff like hotels tonight or whatever,
- 14:00Speaker 8: it was like, oh my god, I could stay at
- 14:01Speaker 8: the wind for thirty five dollars and I guess you're
- 14:04Speaker 8: just not.
- 14:04Speaker 4: Well, you can still get something like that during the
- 14:06Speaker 4: week but they said at any given time, even on
- 14:08Speaker 4: the weekends, these places are a quarter empty. God, that's crazy.
- 14:12Speaker 3: Even on the weekends quarter empty. Yeah, so they're seventy
- 14:15Speaker 3: five percent full.
- 14:16Speaker 4: Correct.
- 14:17Speaker 3: That seems pretty good.
- 14:19Speaker 4: Well, not not compared.
- 14:20Speaker 3: To how it was.
- 14:21Speaker 4: It's not going to there the more people running or
- 14:24Speaker 4: on the casino floor and they're gambling and they're doing
- 14:26Speaker 4: that kind of stuff, which is where the money really
- 14:27Speaker 4: kind of comes in.
- 14:28Speaker 8: But at least the pools probably aren't that much of
- 14:30Speaker 8: a Herbie stew Oh.
- 14:31Speaker 4: There's still a ton of people at the point. I
- 14:33Speaker 4: think it's one of the cheaper things. If you were
- 14:34Speaker 4: there you just go to the pool and hang out.
- 14:37Speaker 4: You might end up be getting like a cabana with
- 14:38Speaker 4: all your friends, you know, but you know you can
- 14:41Speaker 4: still you can still do all that. Well, I say
- 14:44Speaker 4: that that said, like I said, the place is this
- 14:48Speaker 4: is not a not a knock on any of the
- 14:50Speaker 4: places themselves. It's the business of it. Yeah, you know,
- 14:53Speaker 4: it's the business of it. For whatever reason the decisions
- 14:55Speaker 4: were made and how things happen. That's where we're at.
- 14:58Speaker 4: And people like Greg wonder, well, why is it that
- 15:00Speaker 4: I used to be able to go there? And that
- 15:02Speaker 4: was what they were able to do to keep people
- 15:04Speaker 4: coming and to keep people gambling and short sighted? Yeah,
- 15:08Speaker 4: it's like how we used to have a free breakfast
- 15:10Speaker 4: burritos around here, like every week. They used to do that,
- 15:13Speaker 4: but that has, you know, the business changes and they
- 15:16Speaker 4: have other expenses.
- 15:17Speaker 3: We don't get that anymore.
- 15:18Speaker 4: And then it went from breakfast burritos to breakfast bagels,
- 15:20Speaker 4: and then and then those disappeared. So and now we're
- 15:23Speaker 4: lucky if they you know, even stock the little break
- 15:25Speaker 4: area with coffees and keep the machine running for the
- 15:28Speaker 4: coffee for Greg. Yeah, exist all right, what's your jear?
- 15:36Speaker 5: Oh?
- 15:36Speaker 9: My gear is I got that thing that I told
- 15:39Speaker 9: you that I've.
- 15:41Speaker 12: Been bringing up with the chlorine.
- 15:42Speaker 9: I don't know, get like, I get really itchy after
- 15:45Speaker 9: the pool and I went away, But now I guess
- 15:48Speaker 9: it's back again every pool.
- 15:51Speaker 13: Uh.
- 15:52Speaker 9: It was like for a full year I was getting
- 15:54Speaker 9: it and then now like the past two years completely fine,
- 16:00Speaker 9: and then I had it again this weekend.
- 16:01Speaker 4: We menaces skin is sensitive. Maybe you have to use
- 16:06Speaker 4: pools for women like you. Maybe maybe your skin is
- 16:10Speaker 4: just like.
- 16:11Speaker 9: pH balance for her phter the pool. I did take
- 16:17Speaker 9: a bath and it was pretty awesome.
- 16:19Speaker 4: Oh yeah, damn yeah, we're all coordinating. You know what
- 16:23Speaker 4: time everybody's going to meet up. And then you know
- 16:25Speaker 4: MENACE's wife spicy Nacho hits. Everybody goes well, Menace is
- 16:28Speaker 4: in a bubble bath. Like a bubble bath.
- 16:31Speaker 3: I think I'm going to do it more often. Take
- 16:33Speaker 3: a towel and like wrap it up over your head.
- 16:35Speaker 4: I did away.
- 16:38Speaker 9: It ruled hard.
- 16:39Speaker 8: Did you clean the the tub first?
- 16:41Speaker 12: You just hop in it was spotless? This to take
- 16:46Speaker 12: hotel bath the font Lou, I'm telling you man that
- 16:48Speaker 12: place rules.
- 16:50Speaker 4: Did you use official bubble bath?
- 16:52Speaker 13: Like?
- 16:52Speaker 9: Do you think I just took the that's how a
- 16:56Speaker 9: man does it take the whatever there in there. Yeah,
- 17:01Speaker 9: I understand why people get like super high and then
- 17:03Speaker 9: like just you know, fall asleep.
- 17:05Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, Sammy cheers and jeers.
- 17:08Speaker 14: My cheers. It does have to do with laundry.
- 17:13Speaker 13: I thanks for the warningsscovered the steam fresh mode on
- 17:19Speaker 13: a dryer. Never seen it before. I think maybe it's
- 17:22Speaker 13: just this dryer that I have.
- 17:23Speaker 4: Now, Well, yeah, you can buy this that. They have
- 17:26Speaker 4: steam washers and dryers, but you have to buy them specifically.
- 17:30Speaker 4: Not all of them have it.
- 17:31Speaker 14: Yeah, I've never seen I've never had it before. There
- 17:34Speaker 14: is a steam.
- 17:35Speaker 13: Fresh mode on this dryer that I'm psyched about. I've
- 17:38Speaker 13: been using it all weekend. Your clothes when they're in there,
- 17:41Speaker 13: you know how like they're in the dryer and then
- 17:43Speaker 13: if you let it sit for too long, then they
- 17:45Speaker 13: get wrinkled and you're like a holiday show.
- 17:47Speaker 14: You hit steam fresh. It takes ten minutes and it
- 17:49Speaker 14: steams all the wrinkles out of your clothes.
- 17:51Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 17:52Speaker 14: What, It's incredible. I don't have to steam anything, I
- 17:55Speaker 14: don't have to iron anything.
- 17:56Speaker 8: Wait a second, how do I know if I have.
- 17:58Speaker 4: This it'll you'll you'll see a setting on.
- 18:01Speaker 8: Your steam fresh.
- 18:03Speaker 9: Yeah, I don't say or else steam what sounds like
- 18:06Speaker 9: a wild weekend.
- 18:07Speaker 4: Now you don't even you're outside outside.
- 18:12Speaker 9: Here's another thing. You gotta go to the hospital.
- 18:15Speaker 4: You don't even need the steam fresh setting, Gina. Just
- 18:18Speaker 4: refire for like ten minutes in the dryer. Like, as
- 18:20Speaker 4: long as things are warm, you can take them out
- 18:22Speaker 4: laying flat and they won't wrinkle.
- 18:24Speaker 14: Theoretically, yes, because that's what I always used to do,
- 18:26Speaker 14: but it would take a while.
- 18:27Speaker 13: It takes a lot longer, and the wrinkles don't come
- 18:29Speaker 13: out as well as the steam Fresh. I'm telling you
- 18:31Speaker 13: if I had something in my closet, because you know,
- 18:33Speaker 13: stuff gets wrinkled even after you watch it it's hanging there.
- 18:35Speaker 13: You're like, I'm ready to wear this, but now it
- 18:37Speaker 13: needs to be ironed or steamed.
- 18:38Speaker 14: No, it doesn't. Put it in the dryer and it's
- 18:41Speaker 14: steam fresh.
- 18:41Speaker 4: I can't tell you the last time I iron something,
- 18:43Speaker 4: even stuff that requires ironing most of the time, because
- 18:46Speaker 4: I'll just leave it in the the dryer until it's
- 18:49Speaker 4: nice and hot. A lot of times, it's like, unless
- 18:52Speaker 4: you're overpacking these loads of laundry. If It's just a
- 18:54Speaker 4: regular sized loads ten minutes on like a high heat setting.
- 18:58Speaker 4: Take it out on the bed, lay it out flat
- 19:00Speaker 4: and use your hands to smooth it, and it'll it'll stay.
- 19:03Speaker 4: It'll stay perfectly good.
- 19:05Speaker 8: But I have the spear that if I put it
- 19:06Speaker 8: an extra it's gonna shrink.
- 19:08Speaker 4: No extra, already it's already dry. You're adding now heat okay, yeah,
- 19:13Speaker 4: there already was heat. It's like adding you would add
- 19:16Speaker 4: heat if you were ironing it right. Yeah, it doesn't
- 19:18Speaker 4: make a shrink, no, but it steems well.
- 19:21Speaker 8: Does is superior to just running? I got to look
- 19:25Speaker 8: this up at my house.
- 19:26Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 19:27Speaker 6: I iron iron every day, man, almost every day.
- 19:30Speaker 4: Iron I just I always have. I could do it.
- 19:34Speaker 4: It's just not that I can't do it. I know
- 19:35Speaker 4: how to. Some people just don't know how to iron.
- 19:37Speaker 4: That's me like a button down.
- 19:39Speaker 3: Shirt because you flip it. Let's say you're ironing the
- 19:42Speaker 3: front of a button up shirt and then you flip
- 19:44Speaker 3: it over to do the back. You just put creases
- 19:46Speaker 3: into it. You don't don't get it. No, it has
- 19:48Speaker 3: to be flat, I know, but it never stays flat.
- 19:51Speaker 3: And then you try to.
- 19:52Speaker 4: You just to kind of move it around you can't
- 19:54Speaker 4: just set it, run the iron over it, and move
- 19:55Speaker 4: it like you have to keep your here's an art
- 19:57Speaker 4: to it moving around.
- 19:59Speaker 3: The only time I iron is in a hotel room, Yeah,
- 20:01Speaker 3: because whatever I packed got wrinkled.
- 20:03Speaker 12: But the iron in the hotel room was always crappy.
- 20:08Speaker 4: Stuff.
- 20:08Speaker 3: That's spray, Yeah, I gotta get that.
- 20:10Speaker 4: I think it's downing or somebody down Yeah, recal spray.
- 20:14Speaker 4: That's pretty good. Jeers.
- 20:16Speaker 14: My geers is two friends moving away.
- 20:19Speaker 13: I have friends who I hang out with all the
- 20:21Speaker 13: time and they're a lot of fun and I love them,
- 20:23Speaker 13: and they're moving like three.
- 20:24Speaker 14: Hours away, so it's not too far, but it's still
- 20:27Speaker 14: as far enough to not see them as much.
- 20:29Speaker 13: So we did a going away thing for them this
- 20:31Speaker 13: weekend and everyone kind of just stopped buy a brewery
- 20:33Speaker 13: and stuff.
- 20:34Speaker 14: But it's like so awkward too when you're at a
- 20:36Speaker 14: going away thing and you're.
- 20:37Speaker 13: Like, Okay, well bye, we'll see and everyone starts going
- 20:41Speaker 13: like we're gonna come up there and you're gonna come
- 20:43Speaker 13: down here, and we're still going to see each other
- 20:44Speaker 13: so much, and you're making these like awkward promises that
- 20:47Speaker 13: you know our you know the intent is there.
- 20:49Speaker 14: We do all want to do this.
- 20:50Speaker 4: But like high school or college graduation. Yeah, exactly, we'll
- 20:54Speaker 4: totally stay in touch. Yeah, or you're breaking up, well
- 20:58Speaker 4: we can still be friends. Yeah, no thanks, that's a brunch.
- 21:01Speaker 3: They probably left because you do too much laundry.
- 21:05Speaker 4: Yeah, she doesn't have the dollar. Yeah she's talking about laundry.
- 21:08Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 21:10Speaker 3: Man, my cousin.
- 21:13Speaker 4: I would see him more when he lived two thousand
- 21:16Speaker 4: miles away. Yeah, there's now ten minutes from my house.
- 21:19Speaker 4: He got this job about almost ten years ago. At
- 21:22Speaker 4: this point, we're like, what where are you moving? He goes, well,
- 21:25Speaker 4: do you know where that is?
- 21:25Speaker 15: Go?
- 21:26Speaker 4: Yeah, that's like five minutes down the road. He's like, no,
- 21:29Speaker 4: no way. And now he's since he's lived there, barely
- 21:32Speaker 4: see him maybe twice a year. He lives ten minutes away.
- 21:36Speaker 4: When I saw him, when he lived two thousand miles away,
- 21:38Speaker 4: i'd see him multiple times a year.
- 21:40Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 21:40Speaker 8: I have really good friends from college that I never
- 21:43Speaker 8: see unless our other friends come in town.
- 21:44Speaker 4: And it has nothing, nothing's changed. I still love him
- 21:47Speaker 4: to death. I grew up with him. He's you know,
- 21:49Speaker 4: as far as all the cousins and everything go, he's close.
- 21:52Speaker 4: He's a close family member. But it's just he's busy.
- 21:55Speaker 4: I'm busy, and I think you just take for granted
- 21:57Speaker 4: when you have somebody who lives that close, because you like,
- 22:00Speaker 4: in your mind, you go, oh, I can see them
- 22:01Speaker 4: any time, and it's not until you can't. It's like
- 22:04Speaker 4: you want things you can have totally.
- 22:06Speaker 3: Are you what one?
- 22:06Speaker 4: You don't have? People they say they cut hair, They say,
- 22:09Speaker 4: nobody that I've ever worked with, any customer that comes in.
- 22:12Speaker 4: Nobody's ever happy with their hair.
- 22:14Speaker 3: Oh that's true.
- 22:15Speaker 4: If it's too thin, they would, you know whatever, they
- 22:18Speaker 4: can't do anything with it, or they want, you know,
- 22:20Speaker 4: more curls than people who have curls want curls.
- 22:23Speaker 3: Yes, you know, weird phenomenon. Yeah, everybody hates their own.
- 22:28Speaker 4: Yeah, nobody's never happy with what they got.
- 22:32Speaker 3: All right.
- 22:33Speaker 4: Trending news headlines what do you got?
- 22:35Speaker 8: Gina gred Well at Chill Day at Seattle's popular Bite
- 22:37Speaker 8: of Seattle food festival that turned really bad when a
- 22:40Speaker 8: shootout went down near the Space Needle. Three people were killed.
- 22:43Speaker 8: Four others were injured, including a two year old. Cops
- 22:46Speaker 8: say two people were shooting at each other in the
- 22:48Speaker 8: middle of a crowded event.
- 22:50Speaker 4: So we got a clip.
- 22:51Speaker 8: This food vendor was in the middle of an Instagram
- 22:53Speaker 8: live when the shooting happened.
- 22:55Speaker 6: Shooting, Oh, get down, get down down.
- 23:01Speaker 5: Oh it's right there.
- 23:03Speaker 4: Oh yeah.
- 23:05Speaker 8: Thousands of people at the festival when it happened, people running,
- 23:08Speaker 8: scrambling to get to safety.
- 23:10Speaker 4: So it was just like random shooters or like beef.
- 23:15Speaker 8: Okay, So investigators they're still trying to figure out what
- 23:17Speaker 8: the hell happened. One suspect was arrested. They're still looking
- 23:20Speaker 8: for this other a hole.
- 23:21Speaker 4: Is it a weird Like I'm sitting here thinking about
- 23:24Speaker 4: my own reaction to this, Like we hear about so
- 23:26Speaker 4: many of these things. Yeah that I go, oh, is
- 23:28Speaker 4: it a random shooter? And you're like, oh, just two
- 23:29Speaker 4: people be like okay, okay, we're cool people, you know.
- 23:35Speaker 4: You know, it's like if it was a random thing,
- 23:36Speaker 4: that makes it even more scary. Scary. This other one,
- 23:39Speaker 4: oh that's just a regular one.
- 23:41Speaker 8: Yeah, they were just trying to settle each other's hash.
- 23:43Speaker 3: The reason behind it.
- 23:45Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 23:45Speaker 8: Well, speaking of Seattle, a couple of dudes climbed over
- 23:48Speaker 8: the glass wall of the space Needle, jumped off, and
- 23:51Speaker 8: parachuted down about six hundred feet these two dudes haven't
- 23:54Speaker 8: been got a ton of tourists that were at the
- 23:56Speaker 8: space Needle took video.
- 23:58Speaker 3: Look you find these guys what.
- 24:00Speaker 8: It sounded like.
- 24:05Speaker 4: Because the one guy he like, just did a backflip
- 24:08Speaker 4: off the app.
- 24:10Speaker 3: I think that's your new thing that you want to do, Gina, right,
- 24:13Speaker 3: base jump?
- 24:13Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, if not off the space you don't know,
- 24:16Speaker 4: but somewhere like mo Ab. But yeah, for sure in
- 24:20Speaker 4: uh Las Vegas you could do that whole bungee jump
- 24:23Speaker 4: off the stratosphere. Are they still I've done it?
- 24:25Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 24:25Speaker 8: I did it, and it's not really I mean, you
- 24:27Speaker 8: go straight down. You don't like bounce like a bungee cord,
- 24:30Speaker 8: but it's it's awesome.
- 24:31Speaker 4: You don't bounce, No, it's a free fall.
- 24:36Speaker 8: It's counter balanced in a way that you don't your stomach.
- 24:38Speaker 8: You don't like lose your stomach.
- 24:39Speaker 4: You know that feeling.
- 24:40Speaker 8: It's cool, It's very cool. I cried, but it was
- 24:42Speaker 8: worth it.
- 24:43Speaker 3: I would take a trillion dollars to get me to
- 24:45Speaker 3: do that. Maybe think anybody wants you to do it
- 24:48Speaker 3: that man, Yeah, nobody's going to offer it.
- 24:51Speaker 4: Maybe get on the phone. Well with these two dudes.
- 24:54Speaker 8: They are looking for them and you guys, be on
- 24:56Speaker 8: the lookout. We have a very specific profile description of them.
- 25:00Speaker 8: They are white guys in their twenties in Seattle. Be
- 25:04Speaker 8: on the lookout, Bolo. And as if we haven't noticed,
- 25:08Speaker 8: a giant heat wave is baking a lot of us
- 25:11Speaker 8: in the US, with about eighty million people under heat
- 25:14Speaker 8: advisories from Texas to North Dakota. Some areas could top
- 25:17Speaker 8: one hundred degrees for days, with parts of Nebraska reaching
- 25:20Speaker 8: around one hundred and eight Vegas hitting one hundred and fourteen.
- 25:24Speaker 8: The extreme heat is expected to stick around most of
- 25:26Speaker 8: the week, with Texas and the Gulf possibly seeing the
- 25:28Speaker 8: worst of it by Wednesday, while the Northeast and a
- 25:30Speaker 8: lot of the Pacific Northwest they should escape some of
- 25:33Speaker 8: the worst stuff.
- 25:34Speaker 4: I saw a report this heat dome that's hanging over
- 25:36Speaker 4: Kansas right now. Yeah, makes up the hottest spot on
- 25:40Speaker 4: the planet.
- 25:41Speaker 2: I hate here.
- 25:41Speaker 4: Yes, yeah, so of everywhere on Earth, that's it. Yeah,
- 25:46Speaker 4: it's over Kansas.
- 25:47Speaker 8: I feel so bad for my mom.
- 25:49Speaker 4: It was one hundred and fifteen in Las Vegas.
- 25:51Speaker 12: Yeah, but didn't feel too crazy.
- 25:54Speaker 4: Because we're sitting in a pool.
- 25:55Speaker 12: Yes, yeah, but I don't know.
- 25:57Speaker 4: You made it work. We were literally up to our
- 26:01Speaker 4: necks in a pool. Yeah.
- 26:02Speaker 9: In this recent heat dome in in Europe, Like, it
- 26:05Speaker 9: wasn't that. It didn't feel that crazy either, well either.
- 26:08Speaker 8: I haven't been there into Europe in two decades, but
- 26:11Speaker 8: there's nothing worse than a heat dome in Europe. There's
- 26:14Speaker 8: no central ac. They don't put glass ice in your glasses.
- 26:18Speaker 4: Yeah, not built for it. Yeah. When I when I
- 26:21Speaker 4: moved to Portland, Oregon in nineteen ninety seven, all the
- 26:23Speaker 4: apartments that I was going to look at, nobody had
- 26:25Speaker 4: air conditioning. They didn't offer it. It was like you
- 26:28Speaker 4: had heat, but there was there was no option for air.
- 26:30Speaker 4: And I go, well, what's what's with that? I like
- 26:32Speaker 4: it cold, you know, And they're like, oh, we don't
- 26:35Speaker 4: really need it around here. It turns out no, you don't,
- 26:37Speaker 4: like you might not. And I knew a lot of
- 26:40Speaker 4: people that were going there. In fact, I went to
- 26:42Speaker 4: go look at a car at one point and there
- 26:44Speaker 4: were a lot of cars that just didn't come standard
- 26:47Speaker 4: with air conditioning.
- 26:47Speaker 2: Cars.
- 26:48Speaker 4: Yeah, I was looking at Anne.
- 26:52Speaker 8: I was looking at a model to yeah, yeah.
- 26:55Speaker 4: And no air conditioning in there. And they go, oh, no,
- 26:58Speaker 4: you can add it because they were trying to keep
- 27:00Speaker 4: the price is lower for people. The cars of there
- 27:02Speaker 4: were on the lot. If you want it, you can
- 27:04Speaker 4: add it and they would install it, but it just
- 27:06Speaker 4: wasn't standard. I'm like, who lives like this? That's crazy,
- 27:09Speaker 4: especially a car, because you got to figure like the
- 27:10Speaker 4: car sits there, the doors are closed and the suns
- 27:12Speaker 4: but you know how hot, how hot a car gets,
- 27:14Speaker 4: you could literally be sitting you know. That's why I
- 27:16Speaker 4: don't leave your pets and old people.
- 27:17Speaker 3: Yeah, right, that's why I ask Europe all the time,
- 27:19Speaker 3: what year is this?
- 27:20Speaker 8: I know, we love your charming cobblestone ball.
- 27:25Speaker 4: With the time, and I would understand it. We're talking
- 27:27Speaker 4: about older buildings that didn't have it because it wasn't
- 27:30Speaker 4: a thing when they built the build But I was
- 27:32Speaker 4: looking at newer apartments, things that had just been built
- 27:34Speaker 4: within the last handful of years. I'm like, how do
- 27:36Speaker 4: you buildings with air conditioning?
- 27:39Speaker 3: Why?
- 27:39Speaker 4: How do you use it?
- 27:39Speaker 3: Or not?
- 27:40Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 27:40Speaker 3: House centers, house hunters International. It sucks.
- 27:44Speaker 4: Depressing. It's the worst one.
- 27:46Speaker 8: Also, something happened to me the last few days. My
- 27:48Speaker 8: air hasn't been getting below seventy four in my house. Oh, Damn,
- 27:52Speaker 8: I feel like I might die.
- 27:55Speaker 4: Yeah, Oh my god, something's not worthing's not good. I
- 27:59Speaker 4: got to get the guys out there.
- 28:00Speaker 8: Oh man, we got to replace all of it. And
- 28:02Speaker 8: I'm thinking about this attic fan y'all are talking about.
- 28:05Speaker 4: So oh yeah, we'll see what happens. Helpful, Okay.
- 28:07Speaker 8: Well, San Francisco forty nine Ers head coach Kyle Shanahan.
- 28:10Speaker 8: He's recovering after getting hurt in a big car crash
- 28:12Speaker 8: a couple of weeks ago. He had a concussion, a
- 28:14Speaker 8: broken nose, three broken ribs, a broken hand, and he
- 28:18Speaker 8: needed more than forty stitches in his face. Yeah, he
- 28:21Speaker 8: was treated at the hospital. He's been released. But the
- 28:23Speaker 8: internet it's on fire saying he's drunk driving. Of course,
- 28:27Speaker 8: no proof of that, just the internet, you know, being
- 28:29Speaker 8: the Internet.
- 28:29Speaker 4: But I think you would have heard about that, Like
- 28:30Speaker 4: if there was a drunk driving incident involving an NFL
- 28:33Speaker 4: head coach, someone from the police department would have leaked
- 28:35Speaker 4: that information about how he got was like justin Timberlake,
- 28:38Speaker 4: or you would have heard about it.
- 28:40Speaker 9: Also, if he got that messed up, there's no way
- 28:42Speaker 9: that he would be able to hide that he was drunk.
- 28:44Speaker 8: But here's the thing, the information didn't even become public
- 28:48Speaker 8: for two weeks, so somebody was sitting on it. Somebody
- 28:50Speaker 8: had their mouth shut. And speaking of that, another well
- 28:53Speaker 8: known NFL personality was arrested, this time for a confirmed DWI.
- 28:58Speaker 8: That was former Dallas Cow Voice quarterback Tony Romo. He
- 29:02Speaker 8: was busted on suspicion of d w I in Milwaukee.
- 29:04Speaker 8: So according to that police report, Romo was pulled over
- 29:07Speaker 8: and performed poorly on his field sobriety test. He was
- 29:10Speaker 8: taken into custody. He was released and he'll have to
- 29:13Speaker 8: be in court in September. No word if he'll face
- 29:15Speaker 8: any punishment for his job over at CBS.
- 29:17Speaker 4: My question because when I saw this story it said
- 29:20Speaker 4: Tony Romo arrested for oh WI, which I had not
- 29:23Speaker 4: seen before. I wish we could just agree on is
- 29:26Speaker 4: it O w I, d UI or d W Is
- 29:29Speaker 4: it operating?
- 29:30Speaker 3: Yes?
- 29:31Speaker 4: Operating wile in toxicare yn't like it? So d U
- 29:34Speaker 4: I d WY. Can we just like standardize right?
- 29:37Speaker 8: I mean does that cover like using a wrecking ball?
- 29:40Speaker 8: Like why does it have to be?
- 29:41Speaker 4: What do you operating?
- 29:42Speaker 13: Because d UY is drinking d wys driving, driving under
- 29:47Speaker 13: the influenced toxic will impaired. So I think that goes
- 29:51Speaker 13: under like pills or weed or something like that.
- 29:54Speaker 4: That's different. But again came in just standardize, doesn't matter
- 29:56Speaker 4: what it is. You were impaired, so ether through that
- 29:58Speaker 4: alcohol or do some kind of drugs or cough, medicine,
- 30:01Speaker 4: you know whatever they could say, you know you're impaired.
- 30:04Speaker 4: So yeah, I don't like it, which like it was
- 30:06Speaker 4: just stick with the standard thing, that'd be nice, but simplify.
- 30:09Speaker 8: Yeah, why make it harder? And finally not to mention.
- 30:12Speaker 8: As far as the weekend box office goes, the Odyssey
- 30:15Speaker 8: down thirty percent, but it's still dominated. It was still
- 30:18Speaker 8: number one this week. That's going to change though. Was
- 30:21Speaker 8: spider Man brand new day hitting theaters this weekend? Though
- 30:25Speaker 8: it was all about San Diego Comic Con, so we
- 30:27Speaker 8: have some of the highlights. Rick moranis that was exciting
- 30:30Speaker 8: for a lot of people. He hasn't been on screen
- 30:32Speaker 8: since Honey, We Shrunk Ourselves in nineteen ninety seven.
- 30:35Speaker 4: He looks pretty much the same, exactly the.
- 30:37Speaker 8: Same he was there promoting his return. Is dark Helmet
- 30:41Speaker 8: for Spaceball's a new one? Yeah, Marvel's Comic Con panel
- 30:45Speaker 8: included Ryan Reynolds in a Gray dead Pool costume. Ryan
- 30:48Speaker 8: Gosling was announced as ghostwriter, and Robert Downey Junior joined
- 30:52Speaker 8: other cast members for Avenger Doomsday on stage to share
- 30:54Speaker 8: that new trailer, and Ryan Reynolds crashed the presentation. He
- 30:57Speaker 8: was in disguise. He wore this never before were seen
- 31:00Speaker 8: on screen Gray Deadpool costume, so tended to be a cosplayer.
- 31:04Speaker 8: That was funny.
- 31:04Speaker 4: I like it when they do that where people were
- 31:07Speaker 4: walking around no clue.
- 31:09Speaker 8: The best one. I went to Comic Con that year,
- 31:12Speaker 8: and the best one was, like, damn, that guy really
- 31:15Speaker 8: looks like Walter White from Breaking Bad and Brian Krantzty
- 31:17Speaker 8: came on stage in the Walter White mask that he
- 31:20Speaker 8: was walking around in all day and ripped it off
- 31:22Speaker 8: and air and it was awesome. Rule Black Panther three
- 31:26Speaker 8: was announced with David Johnson as to Chala grown up.
- 31:29Speaker 8: His grown up son T'Challa was the late Chadwick Boseman
- 31:32Speaker 8: in the first film that's expected to hit theaters in
- 31:35Speaker 8: twenty twenty eight, and you might know David from that
- 31:37Speaker 8: HBO show.
- 31:37Speaker 4: The Industry. Prime Video shared a teaser.
- 31:40Speaker 8: For Carrie, which I'm so excited about that. Premiere is
- 31:44Speaker 8: October seventh. Apple TV debuted a trailer from Matchbox, the
- 31:48Speaker 8: movie that stars John Cena and Jessicail Car Yeah, Matchbox, Yeah,
- 31:52Speaker 8: the movie premiere is October ninth, and Green Day brought
- 31:56Speaker 8: an ice cream truck to promote their upcoming movie, Nimrods.
- 32:00Speaker 4: I did see a video of that was that he's
- 32:02Speaker 4: like standing on top of it and he was, uh,
- 32:04Speaker 4: you know, Billy Joe's up there doing doing songs. Jenni
- 32:06Speaker 4: Fisher from the office in the office, she was like
- 32:09Speaker 4: off the side of like trade cool and it was
- 32:13Speaker 4: it was just Billy Billy Joe playing guitar and you know, singing.
- 32:17Speaker 8: Basketcase yeah and handed out ice cream.
- 32:20Speaker 4: I'll bid that. What's going on?
- 32:21Speaker 8: Money?
- 32:21Speaker 3: All right?
- 32:22Speaker 4: Thank you very much, Gina Grat got it more? What
- 32:24Speaker 4: shows next?
- 32:25Speaker 3: Hang On.
- 32:27Speaker 1: Alone?
- 32:27Speaker 9: The Wood Show, how.
- 32:38Speaker 10: Well?
- 32:39Speaker 4: The celebration of life ceremony for Oliver Tree, who recently
- 32:43Speaker 4: died in the helicopter crash uh that happened with his family,
- 32:47Speaker 4: friends and fans.
- 32:48Speaker 3: Like Kurk Dots to watch.
- 32:50Speaker 4: Diplo, Logan, Paul, and a whole bunch more. There were
- 32:53Speaker 4: live performances tribute videos, unreleased footage, and a whole bunch more,
- 32:57Speaker 4: including one thing people were talking about is Oliver's mom.
- 33:01Speaker 4: Mom was great, Yeah, talked about her final FaceTime with
- 33:05Speaker 4: Oliver before the accident.
- 33:07Speaker 16: I texted Oliver the day before he passed and asked
- 33:10Speaker 16: how quitting smoking was going for him, as he promised
- 33:13Speaker 16: he would give it up once he was on tour.
- 33:16Speaker 4: He facetimeed me.
- 33:17Speaker 16: Immediately and let out a huge puff of cigarette smoke
- 33:20Speaker 16: in my face. But he was so happy and excited
- 33:26Speaker 16: about life that day. He told us he was taking
- 33:28Speaker 16: a helicopter ride to a house on a mountaintop the
- 33:32Speaker 16: next day to make tiktoks and music with his friends.
- 33:36Speaker 16: He loved having epic days, each one more memorable than
- 33:39Speaker 16: the last.
- 33:41Speaker 4: That sucks. I can't imagine, like, you know, having to
- 33:44Speaker 4: speak at your own child's funeral or celebration of life.
- 33:48Speaker 4: Thing that sucks. But I mean the event itself, I
- 33:52Speaker 4: mean looked like fun. You know, like it sounds weird
- 33:56Speaker 4: to say, but I think that was the idea, right, Yeah,
- 33:59Speaker 4: the idea was just this fun celebration, which Greg wants
- 34:03Speaker 4: the opposite of it.
- 34:04Speaker 3: I want you want devastating, devastated, he wants you to
- 34:08Speaker 3: jump on barely carry on.
- 34:11Speaker 4: Like he really wants us to be requiring medication just
- 34:15Speaker 4: to balance us back out after like a week for the.
- 34:19Speaker 3: Rest of your life. I mean, is it so much
- 34:22Speaker 3: to ask that you spend one week just devast car?
- 34:28Speaker 10: Yeah?
- 34:29Speaker 4: Gone, Greg, I know how much you love a good
- 34:33Speaker 4: prank and a good social media fad.
- 34:37Speaker 3: Oh for sure.
- 34:37Speaker 4: Well this is happening right now. This is I think
- 34:40Speaker 4: it's pretty funny. So parents are tricking their kids, I'm sorry,
- 34:44Speaker 4: are tricking their parents, and they get a video of
- 34:48Speaker 4: a newscaster telling a story. Have you seen any of
- 34:51Speaker 4: these menace?
- 34:52Speaker 3: Well?
- 34:53Speaker 12: Guess is ai thing?
- 34:54Speaker 4: Well, so the newscaster tells a story about someone who's
- 34:57Speaker 4: committed a crime, and then the kids have a picture
- 34:59Speaker 4: of their as like you know where they go please
- 35:02Speaker 4: are looking for this person? Right, And then they get
- 35:06Speaker 4: the reaction. They film the reaction of the parents watching it. Well,
- 35:10Speaker 4: it's good.
- 35:10Speaker 9: What sucks is kids are doing this to old people
- 35:13Speaker 9: inside like uh, grocery stores and like Target and stuff
- 35:16Speaker 9: like that. And I'll show them AI video of them
- 35:20Speaker 9: still like secretly take a photo of the old person
- 35:23Speaker 9: and then put them in an AI video of them
- 35:25Speaker 9: doing like weird stuff.
- 35:26Speaker 4: I hate that.
- 35:27Speaker 9: Oh look what you're doing. They like confuse the old person.
- 35:31Speaker 9: That's you want to hear some of the reactions is
- 35:34Speaker 9: what you're describing.
- 35:35Speaker 3: It's funny. Yeah, it's funny. Yeah.
- 35:37Speaker 4: Like if I, you know, showed my mom, Oh my god, Mom,
- 35:39Speaker 4: did you see this and it's her picture She's the
- 35:42Speaker 4: one wanted for shoplift and just get a reaction.
- 35:44Speaker 10: He news a woman who is wanted for shoplifting Tennessee.
- 35:48Speaker 12: Your name is Carolyn Puckett.
- 36:00Speaker 1: Expected in a murder in eastern Kentucky late last night.
- 36:02Speaker 3: If anybody knows anything.
- 36:10Speaker 9: Bragg would take a major coca Yeah right, Yeah.
- 36:14Speaker 3: My favorite prank going around that I'm seeing on Instagram
- 36:17Speaker 3: a lot is it's I think it's called the invisible threat.
- 36:20Speaker 3: So let's say Gina and I are having dinner and
- 36:22Speaker 3: we're just eating eating and I see nothing, and I
- 36:25Speaker 3: just go, oh my god, and I jump back, and
- 36:27Speaker 3: then the other person sees it and they think there's
- 36:29Speaker 3: a bug or a snake bug and they go flying
- 36:32Speaker 3: backwards and fall over.
- 36:33Speaker 4: That's funny.
- 36:34Speaker 8: But if you did that, I'd be like, let me
- 36:36Speaker 8: get a lady bag.
- 36:37Speaker 3: That's true, it wouldn't work, but if you did it
- 36:39Speaker 3: to me.
- 36:39Speaker 4: Oh, you'd freak out. And the harmless prank stuff is fine.
- 36:42Speaker 4: There was a video that popped up. Hey, this is
- 36:45Speaker 4: remember those guys when pranks were harmless and people they
- 36:48Speaker 4: were sent to go make a delivery flowers or different
- 36:51Speaker 4: things to a church and they walked in and as
- 36:54Speaker 4: they're about halfway down, like walking toward the front of
- 36:56Speaker 4: the church up from the pews, three head pop up.
- 37:00Speaker 4: One is the priest and then another one is like
- 37:03Speaker 4: a woman like a nuns outfit and the priests like
- 37:06Speaker 4: shirt is like unbuttoned, and just to get the reaction
- 37:10Speaker 4: of the there, it's like these chicks like holding like flowers.
- 37:13Speaker 4: That's good my uh. And then excuse they started with
- 37:18Speaker 4: it was just the priest and like one nun's head
- 37:20Speaker 4: would pop up. Then it was like the priest a nun,
- 37:22Speaker 4: and then a second nun. Nice some people, you can
- 37:26Speaker 4: imagine the comments did not like that. They did not
- 37:29Speaker 4: have a they didn't have a sense of.
- 37:30Speaker 3: Name about it.
- 37:30Speaker 9: When I worked at a grocery store, it's still harmless.
- 37:32Speaker 9: The new people we would always go, oh, we need
- 37:34Speaker 9: you to count the black tiles because there's a checker
- 37:37Speaker 9: floor because we're going to replace them. So we would
- 37:40Speaker 9: see the new people like walk around the store counting,
- 37:43Speaker 9: and then also outside would make them mop the cement
- 37:47Speaker 9: for the handicap ones. We're like, oh, so the handicap
- 37:50Speaker 9: people could see the sign better, so they'd be out
- 37:53Speaker 9: there with the mop mopping it, and we're like, what
- 37:55Speaker 9: are you doing on the parking lot mopping the cement.
- 37:59Speaker 4: I think stuff like that's really popular with fire departments
- 38:03Speaker 4: when they have when they have the new guys and
- 38:05Speaker 4: I forget what they.
- 38:05Speaker 3: Call them random chores.
- 38:07Speaker 4: Yeah, they were talking about it. They would mess with
- 38:10Speaker 4: that new guy on rescue me great, yeah, oh oh god.
- 38:13Speaker 3: They never stopped.
- 38:14Speaker 4: Yeah, but I think that's based on a real thing
- 38:16Speaker 4: where like the new guy, the new the guy fresh
- 38:20Speaker 4: out of the academy or whatever, like a fire school, Yeah,
- 38:23Speaker 4: comes in and they give him a hard time. Yeah.
- 38:27Speaker 8: You are like the male equivalent of a basic bitch.
- 38:31Speaker 4: Basic It means you will go with.
- 38:33Speaker 10: The most basic, popular option and don't and you have
- 38:35Speaker 10: no thoughts originality in your brain.
- 38:37Speaker 4: You just go for what everyone else is doing. Basic.
- 38:40Speaker 4: The Woody Show, Well, dude, cheers. I was in bed
- 38:48Speaker 4: at four thirty.
- 38:50Speaker 2: No way.
- 38:51Speaker 4: Yeah, well because we were in Vegas. We were in
- 38:55Speaker 4: Vegas and we were you know, in the sun all
- 38:59Speaker 4: day long. So by the end of the weekend was
- 39:01Speaker 4: just wiped. So got home and you know, kids were
- 39:06Speaker 4: off at activities where it can be back till I
- 39:08Speaker 4: would have been in bed normally anyway, and I was like, you.
- 39:11Speaker 3: Know what, nobody's home.
- 39:12Speaker 4: Spent plenty of time with the wife who was also
- 39:14Speaker 4: gone because you took the kids to the activities, and
- 39:15Speaker 4: I went, I'm out, man, it was that great. It
- 39:18Speaker 4: resulted in in eighty six sleeps core Gina, I know, you're.
- 39:21Speaker 8: Oh god, worse than ever. I even took a melatonin.
- 39:24Speaker 3: Yeah, man, so good.
- 39:26Speaker 4: Oh that's why he doesn't care about daily saving times.
- 39:29Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I don't.
- 39:30Speaker 4: I don't because I prioritized getting the proper amount of sleep.
- 39:34Speaker 8: And you sleep, You sleep through the whole night, you
- 39:36Speaker 8: don't wake up or anything random.
- 39:38Speaker 4: Well I'll wake up and I go ooh, it's only
- 39:39Speaker 4: ten o'clock. I know that's the best people will be
- 39:43Speaker 4: normally going.
- 39:44Speaker 8: What time did you actually fall asleep? You were in
- 39:46Speaker 8: bed at four thirty. When'd you fall asleep?
- 39:48Speaker 4: Let's see the ring, dude, the oar ring. I fell
- 39:52Speaker 4: asleep at five oh eight, dude, Yeah, because of course
- 39:58Speaker 4: I scrawled a little bit.
- 40:00Speaker 9: Should have to sleep at five? It was pretty great crazy.
- 40:05Speaker 4: Also, cheers to flying, but like, you know, I wanted to, uh,
- 40:10Speaker 4: you know, I wanted to fly myself to Vegas, which
- 40:12Speaker 4: I did, landed at Harry Reid, which is a really
- 40:16Speaker 4: busy airport. So that's always cool, big boy to challenge
- 40:20Speaker 4: yourself and you know, do things like that. But it
- 40:22Speaker 4: was it was great. That was super cool. Jeers to
- 40:24Speaker 4: adulting stuff. Wife and I are trying to finalize a trust,
- 40:28Speaker 4: which is a big pain in the answer. I think
- 40:30Speaker 4: I brought that up before because there's so many questions.
- 40:32Speaker 4: It's all about your demise.
- 40:33Speaker 8: Feels like it's been going on forever.
- 40:34Speaker 4: It is. It's one of those things.
- 40:36Speaker 3: But I thought this was done a year ago.
- 40:38Speaker 4: Well, we've been working with the attorney and doing the
- 40:40Speaker 4: whole thing to you know, get everything in line because
- 40:43Speaker 4: then they have to you know, draft documents. Man. That's
- 40:46Speaker 4: that's some real adulting stuff right there.
- 40:48Speaker 8: This might sound very sick, but I think it would
- 40:51Speaker 8: be kind of fun to answer some of those questions.
- 40:54Speaker 4: It's not okay. It's interesting like why like, okay, so
- 40:58Speaker 4: you're dead but your husband's alive, but one of your
- 41:02Speaker 4: two kids also died. How does everything get split up
- 41:04Speaker 4: at that point because things not naturally go to your partner.
- 41:06Speaker 4: But then after that, like does it get to this this?
- 41:10Speaker 4: This Every scenario has to be kind of like thought out,
- 41:13Speaker 4: Oh that's not fun.
- 41:14Speaker 8: I thought you meant, like, no, you're beheaded in a
- 41:16Speaker 8: fun boating accident. Like all kinds of like crazy scenarios.
- 41:19Speaker 8: It's not like one of your kids dies.
- 41:21Speaker 4: Right, yeah, well how about you survive one of your
- 41:24Speaker 4: kids dies and then once you pass, then it goes
- 41:27Speaker 4: on to the whatever and then this other person like
- 41:29Speaker 4: had it in you?
- 41:31Speaker 8: Yeah, it's it's one of you is in a vegetative state.
- 41:34Speaker 4: And the thing I've I've I've leaned into more these
- 41:37Speaker 4: days is the ugly action beats perfection approach. So just
- 41:44Speaker 4: starting something like you have a project that you've been
- 41:47Speaker 4: like thinking about and now you're it's like the people go, well,
- 41:50Speaker 4: first I need to do this, then this, then this
- 41:51Speaker 4: is and then we can now man like, the the
- 41:55Speaker 4: time that's spent trying to make something perfect before you
- 41:57Speaker 4: even start doing it is where things die. Right, So
- 42:01Speaker 4: you have an idea of something you want to do,
- 42:02Speaker 4: whether it's I need to get my trust together or
- 42:05Speaker 4: I want to start doing whatever this hobby is, or
- 42:08Speaker 4: I want to start, uh, you know, looking for a
- 42:11Speaker 4: new job or whatever it is. Action ugly action beats perfection.
- 42:19Speaker 12: Do you see what?
- 42:19Speaker 4: Because what's that? Or the term for that is was that?
- 42:23Speaker 4: The new term for that is our word maxing.
- 42:26Speaker 9: So there's there's like looks maxing, retard maxing.
- 42:30Speaker 4: Okay, yeah, yeah.
- 42:32Speaker 9: Look it up, exactly what you're talking about.
- 42:34Speaker 12: It's just like just going for and just doing it.
- 42:36Speaker 4: And there's there's a kind of a meme of course
- 42:38Speaker 4: that goes with it, but it kind of paints the
- 42:40Speaker 4: picture where it's like, Okay, the steps of the ladder
- 42:43Speaker 4: aren't perfectly straight or whatever, but you're so much higher
- 42:45Speaker 4: and further up than you are. The person who made
- 42:47Speaker 4: the first two steps of their ladder absolutely perfect, isn't
- 42:50Speaker 4: melt Robbins thing.
- 42:51Speaker 10: Then it's it's like to take five or like just
- 42:53Speaker 10: spend five minutes something' putting off something.
- 42:57Speaker 4: That's what's been hot and trendy, and it's exactly what
- 43:00Speaker 4: he's talking about. It but just think about like in
- 43:01Speaker 4: the course of like what we do for business, Like
- 43:03Speaker 4: we'll come up with an idea for something and it
- 43:05Speaker 4: just gets like talked out to death before anything happens
- 43:08Speaker 4: and it's done. It takes from her to get something accomplished. Yeah,
- 43:11Speaker 4: you got to be able to move quickly. What do
- 43:13Speaker 4: they call it? Perfect?
- 43:14Speaker 9: Or yeah?
- 43:14Speaker 8: Perfect is the enemy.
- 43:15Speaker 4: Of goods something.
- 43:17Speaker 9: I mean, it just starts the tech world has been
- 43:19Speaker 9: doing for a decade. They call it, you know, move fast,
- 43:21Speaker 9: break stuff. It just like just go ahead.
- 43:24Speaker 12: And just do it.
- 43:24Speaker 4: It's a very let's see weekend. What happened? Cheers jeers Gina,
- 43:33Speaker 4: What do you got?
- 43:34Speaker 8: I found this dude's dog wandering on the street all
- 43:37Speaker 8: by myself and keep it well, no, I didn't want to,
- 43:39Speaker 8: like it wasn't cute, but reunited it with its owner.
- 43:43Speaker 8: I felt very proud of myself for doing that. I
- 43:45Speaker 8: was on a little walk with miss Pip and I
- 43:48Speaker 8: just saw this like kind of poodle like old poodle
- 43:51Speaker 8: looking thing kind of sniffing around with dragging a leash,
- 43:54Speaker 8: and I was like, well, that can't be good.
- 43:56Speaker 4: So I tied up Pip.
- 43:57Speaker 8: And I ran over there and she kept the dog
- 43:58Speaker 8: kept running away, and then I got down and did
- 44:00Speaker 8: like the like yeah, give here, and he came on
- 44:04Speaker 8: back and I grabbed his little harness and called the tag.
- 44:07Speaker 8: Now it went to voicemail and I left two messages.
- 44:10Speaker 8: So I'm kind of trying to keep him there, and
- 44:11Speaker 8: I'm about to take him in the house, and this
- 44:14Speaker 8: just like dude, like this old kind of tubby dude
- 44:18Speaker 8: who doesn't seem to really have a lot of hustle
- 44:20Speaker 8: into step.
- 44:20Speaker 4: I see him way out in the distance.
- 44:22Speaker 14: I go, oh, is this your dog?
- 44:23Speaker 4: Yeah? Yeah, I'm like, you know, running after it exactly
- 44:28Speaker 4: like the dog got loose, it ran, it ran on.
- 44:30Speaker 4: He tries to run, yeah, about seven steps.
- 44:34Speaker 3: He probably let it free. He didn't want it anymore, so.
- 44:38Speaker 8: He brings it so he gets it, and I feel
- 44:40Speaker 8: really good about that. I'm so glad I got it back.
- 44:42Speaker 8: And then later I got this text that.
- 44:45Speaker 4: Said, Zelle, no, please for a reward.
- 44:48Speaker 8: Please. I get a text that says, uh, thanks for
- 44:51Speaker 8: the call. This is hours later, Thanks for the call.
- 44:54Speaker 8: My sister found the dog earlier and I texted I
- 44:57Speaker 8: was like, no, I found the dog and gave it
- 44:59Speaker 8: to a gentleman.
- 45:00Speaker 3: Stolen day.
- 45:01Speaker 8: It was so weird, but I'm glad. I'm glad the dog.
- 45:04Speaker 4: They were in charge of watching it, and his sister
- 45:07Speaker 4: and the husband were in charge of watching it. It
- 45:09Speaker 4: got loose, he got sent to go look for the dog,
- 45:11Speaker 4: got it back from you. They told the story as if, yes,
- 45:17Speaker 4: am I responsib to be how did I get your number?
- 45:18Speaker 4: I know your dog exactly?
- 45:20Speaker 8: Yeah, No, I busted that. I busted her immediately on that.
- 45:25Speaker 8: I'm sorry, my jears is how many psychos walk among
- 45:31Speaker 8: us and we don't even realize it. There is a
- 45:33Speaker 8: new true crime Netflix doc that I highly recommend called
- 45:38Speaker 8: Toxic Love Story. It's not really like the headline didn't hear, Yeah,
- 45:42Speaker 8: the title didn't grab me, but Sammy so anyway, Yeah,
- 45:46Speaker 8: because whenever they featured whenever they feature a new true
- 45:50Speaker 8: crime thing, I have to give it a go. I
- 45:53Speaker 8: I can hardly explain it because it's there's so many spoilers,
- 45:55Speaker 8: but it's this very messy love triangle and one of
- 45:59Speaker 8: the women starts getting all these insane harassing emails and
- 46:03Speaker 8: they're super threatening and they're crazy.
- 46:05Speaker 4: But who's doing it? That's the question.
- 46:08Speaker 8: So it's not what you think something happens and you're like, yeah, okay, fine,
- 46:12Speaker 8: something else happens, you're like yeah, okay fine, and then
- 46:14Speaker 8: the whole thing explodes.
- 46:16Speaker 4: It's crazy, toxic love story.
- 46:17Speaker 8: But it just it sickens me that these people like,
- 46:19Speaker 8: oh I met him at a Chili's, he seemed normal.
- 46:21Speaker 8: I met her at a Starbucks and she was cool,
- 46:23Speaker 8: and they just walk among us, Like, why aren't they
- 46:26Speaker 8: all locked up these people.
- 46:29Speaker 4: Because they're still out there criming. I hate it. You know,
- 46:33Speaker 4: we don't need these people. So anyway, that's my gy.
- 46:36Speaker 4: Wait till they kill somebody, Yeah, right exactly, the cops
- 46:38Speaker 4: can't Yeah until then, Like you can know someone's bad,
- 46:41Speaker 4: is crazy, but you can't do anything about it. You
- 46:43Speaker 4: can't lock them back because in the show that infringes
- 46:46Speaker 4: on their quote rights or freedoms, Like we know this
- 46:49Speaker 4: person is just like to be a nutjob. You do,
- 46:52Speaker 4: but it doesn't mean that you're saying to be you know,
- 46:56Speaker 4: not monitored.
- 46:57Speaker 8: And I'd like to get out in front of being murdered.
- 46:59Speaker 8: Murdered if it's all the same to you.
- 47:00Speaker 4: They don't care, then it's left to the news to say, well,
- 47:04Speaker 4: what can we do to prevent this? In the future.
- 47:06Speaker 4: Were there any signs do people? Well know, plenty of
- 47:08Speaker 4: people saw the signs. This person was nuts, but they
- 47:12Speaker 4: were online and looking up all this stuff and collecting
- 47:14Speaker 4: all this material to make whatever device they were trying
- 47:16Speaker 4: to create to you know, take people out, but you
- 47:18Speaker 4: can't do anything until they actually try it.
- 47:20Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, exactly, that's fun. So anyway, that's my jeers.
- 47:23Speaker 8: But I do recommend toxic love story.
- 47:25Speaker 4: All right, ce maass cheers and jeers, well, cheers to
- 47:28Speaker 4: the guy who terribly and horribly lost his lawsuit to me.
- 47:33Speaker 4: He is reached out and agreed to pay because he
- 47:36Speaker 4: had till the end of the month. If you recall
- 47:37Speaker 4: the sign collecting or the signature.
- 47:39Speaker 10: The guy did a very poor job, and I say
- 47:42Speaker 10: broke the contract to collect signatures from my bid for
- 47:45Speaker 10: city councils.
- 47:46Speaker 4: Asked to pay.
- 47:47Speaker 10: You know, he didn't misquote the price. He didn't include
- 47:49Speaker 10: court fees, which I reminded of them of very kindly.
- 47:52Speaker 10: But I was afraid, you know, you're afraid with these guys,
- 47:54Speaker 10: and judging by what I'd known of this company, that
- 47:56Speaker 10: perhaps they were just kind of disappear, and you know,
- 47:58Speaker 10: it's like a bad contract, like I to go chase
- 48:00Speaker 10: him and blah blah blah blah blah.
- 48:02Speaker 4: So cheers to him.
- 48:03Speaker 10: For at least it seems well, you know, the check
- 48:06Speaker 10: hasn't cleared yet that he's gonna pay me, which is good, ladies.
- 48:10Speaker 4: He'll send you the check, but there will be no
- 48:12Speaker 4: signature on the check. Yes, right, God, or it's posted
- 48:17Speaker 4: in the next year. Oh my bad.
- 48:19Speaker 10: Yeah, So I mean that's I mean, ladies, that means
- 48:21Speaker 10: I'm gonna have like sixteen grand burning a hole in
- 48:23Speaker 10: my pocket. I don't know Mama needs a new pair
- 48:25Speaker 10: of shoes or anything.
- 48:26Speaker 4: Hit me up you to get a hold of me.
- 48:28Speaker 10: Yeah, yeah, I don't know what I spend that money on.
- 48:32Speaker 10: Feel free to text in with your ideas, although I
- 48:34Speaker 10: don't have access to that, so I won't know what
- 48:36Speaker 10: they are.
- 48:37Speaker 12: They can't afford a b yeah you can, yeah, like
- 48:42Speaker 12: three or four grand.
- 48:42Speaker 10: You can get entry level for they were like one
- 48:45Speaker 10: hundred grand.
- 48:46Speaker 12: Well, there there are some that go up to one
- 48:48Speaker 12: hundred grand.
- 48:49Speaker 4: Let's do purse talk with men.
- 48:52Speaker 10: Jeers to the City of San Diego was down for
- 48:56Speaker 10: like the twelfth year in a row to comic Con,
- 48:58Speaker 10: and it was the worst for homelessness that I've ever seen,
- 49:01Speaker 10: and you'd think this is their weekend, this is San
- 49:05Speaker 10: Diego's big thing.
- 49:06Speaker 4: Even San Francisco cleans itself up and they know they're
- 49:09Speaker 4: going to be in a spot and I forget what
- 49:10Speaker 4: that event was and for the first time.
- 49:13Speaker 3: Ever everything so it can be done.
- 49:16Speaker 10: And Kevin it was a minute, is like, yeah, we
- 49:18Speaker 10: could do that anytime. So I'm driving in Saturday nine
- 49:22Speaker 10: am and it's it's San Diego downtown. Sandigo is not huge,
- 49:26Speaker 10: and they are everywhere and it's just zombies picking its stuff,
- 49:30Speaker 10: taking over sidewalks.
- 49:32Speaker 4: It looked like San Francisco or La But I.
- 49:34Speaker 10: Was like, this is this is Saturday of Comic Con.
- 49:38Speaker 10: And there's of course parents and kids because it's it's
- 49:40Speaker 10: comic books. It should be for children everywhere, and they're
- 49:43Speaker 10: just in and among the population. So I don't know
- 49:46Speaker 10: what they're doing down there, but it's not working well.
- 49:48Speaker 9: I was just telling off the air to people in
- 49:51Speaker 9: the room. We weren't here Sea Bass. In Mexico, they're
- 49:54Speaker 9: starting to just have people that just round people up
- 49:57Speaker 9: off the street and then force them into rehab and
- 50:00Speaker 9: it's even.
- 50:00Speaker 4: Like, well yeah, and taking them the rehab. It's like
- 50:05Speaker 4: when you tell your kids that they went to the
- 50:07Speaker 4: dog went to the farm. Yeah, Mexico rehab whatever.
- 50:11Speaker 9: Family, even family, it's called spiritual mission or something like that,
- 50:16Speaker 9: all in the desert.
- 50:18Speaker 10: But see again, that's what we used to do in
- 50:20Speaker 10: a and what other go to Japan.
- 50:22Speaker 4: You don't see it there child in Japan.
- 50:24Speaker 10: So we used to do in this country until people
- 50:27Speaker 10: forty fifty years ago decided that one flew over the
- 50:30Speaker 10: Cuco's nest was real life.
- 50:31Speaker 4: And yeah, and and there and there.
- 50:32Speaker 10: The solution is, well, there are there is some abuse
- 50:35Speaker 10: in the hospitals, so instead of cleaning up the hospitals,
- 50:37Speaker 10: we'll just set up free on the streets.
- 50:39Speaker 4: It will get no treatment and each other and kill
- 50:42Speaker 4: and kill.
- 50:42Speaker 12: You know who started it, It was the Kennedy's.
- 50:45Speaker 4: It was read that book. Yes, Yes, goes back to genus.
- 50:47Speaker 4: Whole thing about this documentary that she watched. A lot
- 50:49Speaker 4: of people in the text are saying, man, it was
- 50:51Speaker 4: really good.
- 50:51Speaker 10: They want to stigmatize that Rosemary Kennedy's uh mental illness,
- 50:56Speaker 10: and they just kind of and then slowly.
- 50:57Speaker 4: And then you know it, ye started defunding it. And
- 51:00Speaker 4: on both sides Reagan was part of the problem too.
- 51:02Speaker 8: He's too who's two part plan that never got to
- 51:04Speaker 8: part two.
- 51:05Speaker 10: But Reagan took a lot of heat for it. But
- 51:06Speaker 10: it was the Kennedy's that I really started it. Both
- 51:09Speaker 10: of them did wrong, I agree, so lock them up.
- 51:11Speaker 14: But then you and Kennedy started the Special Olympics.
- 51:14Speaker 17: Thank you?
- 51:17Speaker 4: What the guy?
- 51:18Speaker 10: The guy, the guy laid out on the sidewalk in
- 51:20Speaker 10: San Diego with an armful of meth doesn't need a
- 51:22Speaker 10: Special Olympics.
- 51:23Speaker 12: So we need to go in Mexico style.
- 51:26Speaker 3: Having never been to Japan, if you're walking through a
- 51:29Speaker 3: city in Japan, do you see trash or homeless people
- 51:32Speaker 3: at all?
- 51:33Speaker 10: Or not only do you not see trash, you don't
- 51:35Speaker 10: even see garbage cans. Really, it's it's a very famous
- 51:38Speaker 10: thing where they just you take it with you and
- 51:40Speaker 10: get rid of it at home.
- 51:41Speaker 4: I will say this.
- 51:42Speaker 10: I was walking around a park greg in Japan, in Tokyo,
- 51:45Speaker 10: and I did notice like something wrong the bushes and
- 51:48Speaker 10: this guy I did see a homeless guy there. He'd
- 51:50Speaker 10: made like a perfectly hidden little hideout.
- 51:53Speaker 4: In the bushes.
- 51:54Speaker 3: It was probably neat in order exactly so.
- 51:56Speaker 10: Even the homeless in Japan are very orderly and they
- 51:59Speaker 10: don't want to just start the rest of the population.
- 52:01Speaker 4: Gina. Back to your documentary that you watch, the True
- 52:03Speaker 4: crime what's called it's called Toxic Love Story? Okay, because
- 52:06Speaker 4: people like some of some man so good. OMG, Gina,
- 52:10Speaker 4: great documentary. I'm addicted to the true crime as well.
- 52:12Speaker 4: Some other person texted over saying, my cousin was the
- 52:15Speaker 4: neighbor in that true crime doc and was telling us
- 52:18Speaker 4: that the guy in Ian was always a dick to
- 52:21Speaker 4: people and threatened everyone with the fact that he was
- 52:23Speaker 4: a US marshal and that he could make things happen.
- 52:26Speaker 8: This is what I'm talking about. Why do these people
- 52:28Speaker 8: get to walk around?
- 52:29Speaker 4: Yeah, it's crazy.
- 52:31Speaker 8: Yeah, definitely check it out.
- 52:37Speaker 11: All right, a man, you gotta see this video. Let's
- 52:44Speaker 11: play guess the cruise line.
- 52:47Speaker 4: Oh okay, right on. So there's this video that is
- 52:51Speaker 4: being shared on social media. So this is all because
- 52:55Speaker 4: of the behavior of one of the other passengers during dinner.
- 53:02Speaker 4: In the video, the woman can be seen grabbing her
- 53:04Speaker 4: dinner fork and using it to scratch her foot at
- 53:07Speaker 4: the table. God, and she must have had some kind
- 53:11Speaker 4: of like foot thing going on, because you can actually
- 53:14Speaker 4: see the skin flakes falling off of her foot and
- 53:17Speaker 4: onto the floor.
- 53:20Speaker 9: Yeah, so here's here's a here's a clip of the
- 53:25Speaker 9: passengers who went down and they were they were talking
- 53:27Speaker 9: to the employees trying to have something done about it.
- 53:30Speaker 10: We actually have a video if you would like to
- 53:32Speaker 10: commit it's back because we showed the services and they
- 53:36Speaker 10: couldn't believe it.
- 53:37Speaker 18: So this is her just scratching her foot at this
- 53:39Speaker 18: point as as you can see.
- 53:44Speaker 1: And she lives on the.
- 53:48Speaker 4: Okay, so guess the cruise line.
- 53:52Speaker 9: The risk Carlton going to be virgin.
- 53:56Speaker 4: I'm going to say Carnival, Carnival, second though, Carnival.
- 54:02Speaker 9: Yeah, maybe Carnival Carnival.
- 54:05Speaker 17: I would say Carnival.
- 54:06Speaker 4: Well sweep it for Carnival, will you guys? Man? You
- 54:08Speaker 4: guys are really good at this because it is Carnival,
- 54:11Speaker 4: of course it is.
- 54:13Speaker 3: Or people not embarrassed.
- 54:14Speaker 9: Spring Break of the Seas.
- 54:16Speaker 4: Yeah, somebody said it's the waffle House of the Seas.
- 54:20Speaker 8: I had some good times on Carnival, but if I
- 54:22Speaker 8: saw this, I would never sit throwing up.
- 54:24Speaker 4: When was the last time you were on there? I
- 54:26Speaker 4: feel like it's maybe changed because eight years ago the
- 54:30Speaker 4: dialogue the conversation around Carnival seems to have changed over
- 54:33Speaker 4: the last like five or six years. Right about that.
- 54:35Speaker 8: This was not a thing I think when I.
- 54:37Speaker 4: Went, yeah, like, I don't know this all of a sudden,
- 54:39Speaker 4: it just like it became the place where people who
- 54:41Speaker 4: just wanted to cause trouble or you know, kind of
- 54:44Speaker 4: gross people go yeah, yeah, yeah, but you like people
- 54:48Speaker 4: who are just like being gross or you know, acting
- 54:51Speaker 4: acting ridiculous, or yeah, they scratching their foot with a
- 54:55Speaker 4: with a fork at the dinner table. It's so discussing.
- 54:59Speaker 4: Carnival saw the video, they released the statement saying that
- 55:01Speaker 4: cleanliness and hygiene are no joke to them. They also
- 55:05Speaker 4: say they removed that fork from service. Did they No,
- 55:11Speaker 4: they don't know. By the time these people went down
- 55:13Speaker 4: to whatever, I think the person was still there at
- 55:15Speaker 4: the dinner table and they went there and they grabbed
- 55:16Speaker 4: that one fork. No chance, some Carnival passenger right now
- 55:21Speaker 4: has that in their mouth. I'm not saying they didn't
- 55:24Speaker 4: wash it.
- 55:25Speaker 3: That's the thing. I judge this woman harshly. She's disgusting.
- 55:29Speaker 3: She should be embarrassed. Why would you do that when
- 55:31Speaker 3: you're at the dinner table. The list goes on and
- 55:33Speaker 3: on and on. But when it comes to gross factor,
- 55:37Speaker 3: what she was doing was gross. It's not necessarily the
- 55:40Speaker 3: fork that's gross. You probably have gone to restaurants and
- 55:43Speaker 3: put a fork in your mouth that was in the
- 55:44Speaker 3: mouth of a cold sore riddle swab, and you're putting
- 55:49Speaker 3: that in your mouth. You're drinking from glasses that everybody
- 55:52Speaker 3: has drink. Sure, so it's no more or less gross
- 55:55Speaker 3: because it's the fork. The woman is disgusting. She's a pig.
- 56:00Speaker 8: I think that's just how you pacify your passengers.
- 56:03Speaker 4: Don't worry, fork's.
- 56:03Speaker 8: Gone everybody psychologically.
- 56:05Speaker 4: It's so disgusting.
- 56:06Speaker 14: But how did nobody say anything?
- 56:08Speaker 13: Even the people she was with were fine with her
- 56:10Speaker 13: scratching her foot at the dinner table.
- 56:12Speaker 9: I saw the video.
- 56:13Speaker 12: I don't think they could see what she was.
- 56:15Speaker 8: She's kind of under the table, being real nonchalant about it.
- 56:17Speaker 4: Yeah, it is the people at the other table who
- 56:20Speaker 4: saw what she was view Yeah, I mean I've had
- 56:23Speaker 4: those thoughts about you know, you think about hotels, like
- 56:26Speaker 4: you're putting your face on these pillows, that maybe something,
- 56:29Speaker 4: maybe that was somebody else's crotch pillow. You know, some
- 56:31Speaker 4: people sleep with like a pillow between their knees and
- 56:33Speaker 4: it's up in there and their ass crack and there
- 56:35Speaker 4: you know, they're coucie crease. Pillows don't get smarked out, Like,
- 56:40Speaker 4: how do you know that the bed you're sleeping in
- 56:42Speaker 4: wasn't the sex bed for somebody else? And they slept
- 56:44Speaker 4: in the other one, right, like Sammy does.
- 56:46Speaker 8: But that's an eating bed, right, eating in a seating bed.
- 56:50Speaker 4: Yeah, Like so people, people are foul. Yeah, people blowing
- 56:53Speaker 4: their snot rockets on the floor.
- 56:55Speaker 8: And you can really see the extent of the infection.
- 57:00Speaker 3: It's so much. Yeah, it's disgusting.
- 57:04Speaker 8: Thank you.
- 57:05Speaker 4: Uh. Anybody seeing any clips from the w NBA All
- 57:08Speaker 4: Star Game over the weekend?
- 57:10Speaker 5: I did.
- 57:10Speaker 4: I did.
- 57:11Speaker 17: I watched the whole thing.
- 57:14Speaker 4: Here's my question. So I saw clips, and I thought
- 57:18Speaker 4: it was almost a joke, like they must have just
- 57:20Speaker 4: taken all the absolute worst moments and strung them all together.
- 57:23Speaker 12: They absolutely did.
- 57:25Speaker 17: No, I don't think they did.
- 57:26Speaker 4: But I keep seeing people rebutting it, saying, no, I
- 57:29Speaker 4: watched the game. It was one of the most embarrassing
- 57:32Speaker 4: things I've ever seen. And this is the All Star game.
- 57:34Speaker 4: We're talking like mega airballs, like layups that like, dude, yeah,
- 57:40Speaker 4: the layup that like when they want to go up
- 57:43Speaker 4: for the layup, the first time the ball touches anything
- 57:45Speaker 4: is almost the very top of the backboard.
- 57:48Speaker 5: And it wasn't just Angel Reese, it was everybody.
- 57:50Speaker 4: Yeah, it wasn't just the Brickmaster General herself, Angel Reese.
- 57:55Speaker 4: I love those guys.
- 57:56Speaker 18: Full makeup, full hair done, girl and like didn't even
- 57:59Speaker 18: have their.
- 58:00Speaker 4: Hair tied up a lot.
- 58:01Speaker 12: Why are you watching?
- 58:02Speaker 18: I had friends that have money on it, you know,
- 58:07Speaker 18: with the markets these days. But it was hilarious. And
- 58:10Speaker 18: then they kept saying they would interview the girls at
- 58:12Speaker 18: halftime or whatever, and they're like, we're just not playing defense.
- 58:14Speaker 17: We're here to have fun. And I'm like, okay, sure.
- 58:16Speaker 8: Yeah, but you're on like well, I mean not really
- 58:19Speaker 8: but kind of the world stage. Maybe try.
- 58:21Speaker 4: I'm saying, it's it's supposed to be, yeah, like an
- 58:23Speaker 4: opportunity to supposed to be the best people. Yeah, like
- 58:27Speaker 4: hitting from like five point range or something like show
- 58:30Speaker 4: something pretty cool, you know, not like man, you just
- 58:33Speaker 4: take like a basic as shot and it's not even
- 58:36Speaker 4: like close, just complete air ball.
- 58:40Speaker 17: The amount of layups missed was crazy.
- 58:42Speaker 6: I saw Caitlin Clark start off hot and she hit
- 58:45Speaker 6: a couple of those like what should be four pointers,
- 58:47Speaker 6: the logo threes, you know, yeah, and she did it
- 58:49Speaker 6: all right, but then she kind of cooled off and menace.
- 58:51Speaker 6: We were joking about it on Friday about a dunk contest.
- 58:54Speaker 6: Someone actually dunked in the game.
- 58:55Speaker 4: No way they did.
- 58:56Speaker 5: Yeah, they did dunk in the games.
- 58:58Speaker 9: So maybe a couple of highlights right there.
- 59:00Speaker 5: That was about it.
- 59:01Speaker 4: Yeah, I just don't know how anybody's into it.
- 59:04Speaker 17: Yeah, yeah, that makes it way more interesting.
- 59:09Speaker 4: There are Marble races that you can bet on. I'm
- 59:12Speaker 4: addicted to the online. I'm saying, I don't know how
- 59:16Speaker 4: anybody takes the w n B A seriously.
- 59:18Speaker 9: Yeah, but if you go to a non top tier
- 59:22Speaker 9: NBA game, it's just as bad. It's crazy.
- 59:25Speaker 8: That's a good point.
- 59:26Speaker 4: I don't watch it, So would you agree with that, Jeff?
- 59:28Speaker 6: I would say, like, if you go watch like the
- 59:29Speaker 6: Sacramento Kings or Washington there.
- 59:33Speaker 9: It was bad, crazy. And one week I went and
- 59:35Speaker 9: I saw the Clippers play, and I was like, okay,
- 59:39Speaker 9: you know so right, there was like a long period
- 59:41Speaker 9: of time where no one was getting any baskets. And
- 59:43Speaker 9: then I went like the same week and I saw
- 59:45Speaker 9: the Lakers play. I'm like, oh my god, it was
- 59:47Speaker 9: like the week before watching the Clippers was like a
- 59:50Speaker 9: high school basketball game versus what I was seeing with
- 59:52Speaker 9: the Lakers.
- 59:53Speaker 3: You know.
- 59:54Speaker 9: So it's like, yeah, if you don't go to like
- 59:56Speaker 9: a top tier team, it's just as bad as what
- 59:59Speaker 9: you're talking about with the I mean, fair enough, I said, up,
- 1:00:03Speaker 9: I can't tell you last time I went to an
- 1:00:04Speaker 9: NBA game.
- 1:00:05Speaker 4: I certainly don't watch the NBA.
- 1:00:08Speaker 6: I do have a question for the ladies. You none
- 1:00:11Speaker 6: of you have fake eyelashes, right Morgan?
- 1:00:14Speaker 16: Do you not?
- 1:00:15Speaker 6: They're not as crazy as some of the ladies in
- 1:00:17Speaker 6: the w NBA. How could you play basketball or organized
- 1:00:20Speaker 6: sports with you one inch fake islands?
- 1:00:23Speaker 8: Every time I see what's your name run the Olympic chick,
- 1:00:26Speaker 8: the runner, I'm like, how, yes, how, that's a great question.
- 1:00:30Speaker 6: That's the thing I always look at Like you mentioned
- 1:00:32Speaker 6: full makeup and hair, and I noticed that about the game,
- 1:00:34Speaker 6: and I'm like, damn, how do they see the basket?
- 1:00:37Speaker 4: You can run with long nails if they're long, they're
- 1:00:39Speaker 4: not long toenails with.
- 1:00:40Speaker 8: No lashes slashes really while you're running.
- 1:00:45Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:00:45Speaker 18: The only thing that would be hard with that, and
- 1:00:47Speaker 18: it's hard with boxing, is if it's a contact sport,
- 1:00:50Speaker 18: Like if a girl gets, you know, an arm or
- 1:00:52Speaker 18: something in her eye, you're going to get all these
- 1:00:54Speaker 18: lashes in your eye and it makes it way worse.
- 1:00:57Speaker 13: Yeah, And it's eyelash extensions, so it's not like they're
- 1:00:59Speaker 13: gluing them on. They're already they're somewhat permanently until they
- 1:01:02Speaker 13: grow out and it's time to take them off.
- 1:01:04Speaker 17: Some people blue them on though.
- 1:01:05Speaker 8: It's a pain in the ass.
- 1:01:07Speaker 4: Fellas, right, it's hard.
- 1:01:09Speaker 17: It's like two hour appointments every time.
- 1:01:11Speaker 4: Yeah, it's tough. Text us over to two two nine
- 1:01:16Speaker 4: eight seven. It is Shark Week on Discovery, and as
- 1:01:20Speaker 4: his tradition here on The Woody Show, whenever it's Shark
- 1:01:22Speaker 4: Week on Discovery, it is Nark Week here on The
- 1:01:25Speaker 4: Woody Show. So we got cart narks for you each
- 1:01:28Speaker 4: morning this week. A couple of new exciting twists and
- 1:01:31Speaker 4: things that are different from your average cart narking that
- 1:01:35Speaker 4: Agent Sebastian does, and so we'll have some of those
- 1:01:38Speaker 4: surprises they do that on Shark Week two.
- 1:01:40Speaker 3: Yeah, there's always one big spectacle.
- 1:01:42Speaker 4: Yeah, they'll introduce like a couple of new elements or
- 1:01:44Speaker 4: something from the year's past that maybe you hadn't seen before.
- 1:01:47Speaker 4: So we'll we'll kick off Nark Week next year on
- 1:01:50Speaker 4: The Woody Show. The Woody Show will be back in
- 1:01:53Speaker 4: a sec.
- 1:01:58Speaker 11: Show.
- 1:02:00Speaker 4: I'm Whatddy? That is Greg Gory Menace?
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: What is up?
- 1:02:04Speaker 4: High Gina gret phones are open eight seven seven forty four. Woodie.
- 1:02:10Speaker 4: You can set us a text check in over to
- 1:02:12Speaker 4: two two nine eight seven. So it's the annual tradition
- 1:02:16Speaker 4: on Discovery Shark Week.
- 1:02:18Speaker 3: So excited.
- 1:02:19Speaker 4: Yeah, people love my wife, man, she loves She's not
- 1:02:22Speaker 4: as crazy as she used to be. She used to
- 1:02:24Speaker 4: set up she used to set up all the recordings
- 1:02:27Speaker 4: back with its just DVR only. I think now because
- 1:02:29Speaker 4: you got the Discovery app, you can watch it.
- 1:02:32Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:02:32Speaker 4: You just go to the Shark Week tab on there
- 1:02:35Speaker 4: and a lot of times they repeat stuff from you know,
- 1:02:38Speaker 4: past season. Yeah, there's a lot of repeat stuff, but
- 1:02:41Speaker 4: there's always some new stuff in there.
- 1:02:42Speaker 8: Did she record it for the kids or she like,
- 1:02:44Speaker 8: oh it's for her, good for her.
- 1:02:46Speaker 3: No, she loves all that Sharks one week where they
- 1:02:48Speaker 3: were so obsessed with the sharks jumping out of the water.
- 1:02:52Speaker 4: On what was the what was the dumb thing they
- 1:02:55Speaker 4: had a couple of years ago. Was it Michael Phelps
- 1:02:57Speaker 4: racing k They got to keep it, but not really.
- 1:03:02Speaker 9: That was cool.
- 1:03:03Speaker 4: Yeah, but the way they hype that up and you're like,
- 1:03:05Speaker 4: wait what Yeah, but you know then they just take
- 1:03:08Speaker 4: the time of a shark and then compared it to
- 1:03:11Speaker 4: the time that he was able to do it, otherwise
- 1:03:12Speaker 4: known as something you could look up on your own, right. Yeah,
- 1:03:15Speaker 4: but they gave it a good shot, you know, they
- 1:03:17Speaker 4: try to get creative. Well, when it's Shark week on Discovery,
- 1:03:20Speaker 4: it is narc week here on the Woody Show. That's right,
- 1:03:23Speaker 4: Ancient Sebastians. It's gone around trying to get people do
- 1:03:29Speaker 4: the right thing and return those cards to the card
- 1:03:32Speaker 4: corral or to the front of the store. And what
- 1:03:35Speaker 4: he got for his agency best.
- 1:03:36Speaker 10: We got a new agent joining a law and more
- 1:03:38Speaker 10: of a quality controller supervisor agent.
- 1:03:40Speaker 4: That's a Jeff g.
- 1:03:44Speaker 10: The premise here is that I'm going out and doing
- 1:03:45Speaker 10: my narking and then as I'm as I'm kind of
- 1:03:47Speaker 10: finishing things up, my supervisor will kind of get a
- 1:03:50Speaker 10: customer survey.
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: So this first.
- 1:03:53Speaker 10: Lady, she's a German lady, middle aged German lady, and
- 1:03:58Speaker 10: she had dumped her carts and on an angle loose
- 1:04:01Speaker 10: in the handicap walkway, which means that the blue and
- 1:04:03Speaker 10: white striped area next to the handicap spots that is
- 1:04:06Speaker 10: that says no parking, but it's always big and open,
- 1:04:08Speaker 10: so they're from a throw it so that now someone
- 1:04:10Speaker 10: can't open their rear door, for instance, or we'll get
- 1:04:12Speaker 10: a wheelchair around. So I've been sitting there in front
- 1:04:15Speaker 10: of her for a while and I'm waving, I'm pointing, waving, pointing,
- 1:04:19Speaker 10: and she won't have she won't talk to me, talk
- 1:04:21Speaker 10: to me, talk to me until Jeff shows up. And
- 1:04:23Speaker 10: then her first her first complaint isn't oh I'm sorry
- 1:04:26Speaker 10: about the card. It's oh you got a camera. Yeah,
- 1:04:29Speaker 10: I don't understand the first Amendment. Oh okay, oh yeah, man,
- 1:04:32Speaker 10: See what you did is because you blocked the handicapped
- 1:04:35Speaker 10: spot with you.
- 1:04:36Speaker 8: I didn't knock anything.
- 1:04:37Speaker 4: Well what's that?
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: What's that park? What's that right there? The front of
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: the store is right there.
- 1:04:43Speaker 14: You can murdered part of the first say.
- 1:04:47Speaker 10: Hurt MANA I don't think you understand the first Amendments
- 1:04:49Speaker 10: of the damn Constitution, which.
- 1:04:50Speaker 15: Says we have the freedom of speech to stop people
- 1:04:53Speaker 15: like yourself from being darn old lazybones who hate freedom.
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: Watch out behind you. Sorry, man, she's very lazy, a
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: lazy bone.
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: It's you.
- 1:05:04Speaker 8: Think they know better in Munich getting Uh yeah, well
- 1:05:07Speaker 8: they had such hard control and for folks people might
- 1:05:10Speaker 8: I don't think I understand necessarily.
- 1:05:12Speaker 10: People say, well, the first moment's freedom of speech. Well,
- 1:05:13Speaker 10: freedom of speech means the ability also to record things
- 1:05:16Speaker 10: to talk about later. So that means taking notes, taking photos,
- 1:05:19Speaker 10: taking video, recording audio, assuming it's in a public place
- 1:05:22Speaker 10: like a like a parking lot, assumed privacy, right, So
- 1:05:25Speaker 10: that is part of the freedom of speech and the
- 1:05:27Speaker 10: ability to talk about and record the things you wanted
- 1:05:29Speaker 10: to talk about. So she's she just insulted her by
- 1:05:33Speaker 10: calling her lazy bones.
- 1:05:34Speaker 4: She doesn't like that. Thank God.
- 1:05:36Speaker 10: My supervisor Jeff g is here.
- 1:05:39Speaker 9: What are you wearing?
- 1:05:39Speaker 4: Do you look like a supervisor?
- 1:05:41Speaker 5: Yes?
- 1:05:41Speaker 9: I wore glasses and a tie.
- 1:05:43Speaker 4: Oh you had a tie on, a tie on bell khakis. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:05:48Speaker 4: he looked like a manager. It was perfect employee review time.
- 1:05:51Speaker 10: Yesh he's got a checklist and a clipboard, and.
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: I though I described what you did accurately.
- 1:05:57Speaker 10: You yeah, because you let your cart blocking the handicap access. Yeah,
- 1:06:03Speaker 10: the handicapped people who's spotting you just block?
- 1:06:05Speaker 5: Here's my sam, I'm a supervisor. How do you think
- 1:06:08Speaker 5: you did today? Was our agent polite and friendly?
- 1:06:10Speaker 4: No? No, no.
- 1:06:21Speaker 10: And then so she's got a bunch of so her
- 1:06:23Speaker 10: first excuse is, you can't record me.
- 1:06:25Speaker 4: That's a lie, obviously.
- 1:06:26Speaker 10: Her second excuse was it's too far. It was as
- 1:06:29Speaker 10: far to go to the front of the store.
- 1:06:30Speaker 4: It's right there.
- 1:06:32Speaker 10: And now she then throws some more stuff at Jeff
- 1:06:34Speaker 10: as he goes through his checklist.
- 1:06:35Speaker 5: I mean, do you think next time you'll put your
- 1:06:37Speaker 5: cart back?
- 1:06:38Speaker 2: Oh?
- 1:06:39Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, I do, like have emergency.
- 1:06:40Speaker 9: I gotta think you have an emergency.
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: Okay, I gotta take handy that.
- 1:06:44Speaker 6: Okay, okay, what did you use any dumb excuses for
- 1:06:49Speaker 6: our agent?
- 1:06:49Speaker 10: I think she just did, Joe, Yeah, what emergency? What
- 1:06:52Speaker 10: appointment are you going to? That's so that's such an emergency.
- 1:06:55Speaker 4: What's wrong with you?
- 1:06:56Speaker 10: He asked you if you use any dumb excuses, and
- 1:06:57Speaker 10: you just used one about be having an emergency appointment.
- 1:06:59Speaker 9: On a scale of one to five, five being the best.
- 1:07:01Speaker 5: How would you rate our agent? Is that a zero?
- 1:07:07Speaker 4: This trouble?
- 1:07:09Speaker 10: So this is, by the way, to give you more context.
- 1:07:13Speaker 10: She's got an able bodied passenger with her who could
- 1:07:15Speaker 10: have taken the card back as well.
- 1:07:17Speaker 4: She's it's six thirty in the evening. She went to
- 1:07:20Speaker 4: a warehouse club, but she has to get this guy
- 1:07:23Speaker 4: to some sort of emergency appointment. Interesting do you think
- 1:07:27Speaker 4: she might be lying?
- 1:07:28Speaker 3: That's every time I have an emergency, I quickly do
- 1:07:31Speaker 3: some shopping.
- 1:07:32Speaker 4: At the biggest store you can find too.
- 1:07:33Speaker 13: Yeah, right, right, And I have a lot of appointments
- 1:07:36Speaker 13: at seven pm.
- 1:07:37Speaker 10: Right, and if there's such an emergency, that used to
- 1:07:40Speaker 10: you take five minutes to argue with people about to right? Okay,
- 1:07:42Speaker 10: sure makes sense. So sadly, I don't think that one worked. Unfortunately,
- 1:07:46Speaker 10: help all right, Well, what do you show narc week?
- 1:07:50Speaker 10: And in this next one, this guy it's a family
- 1:07:53Speaker 10: affair here where a dad, a mom and an older, older,
- 1:07:56Speaker 10: older son are there and they dumped their card off
- 1:07:59Speaker 10: in the driving life in the fire lane, about three
- 1:08:01Speaker 10: feet from a fire hydrant. And so I approached this
- 1:08:05Speaker 10: family to see if I can, without even help for
- 1:08:07Speaker 10: my supervisor yet get them to do the right thing.
- 1:08:09Speaker 4: We keep we we we.
- 1:08:14Speaker 10: Oh, all right, yeah, I was the son of the
- 1:08:16Speaker 10: kid to go get it about there.
- 1:08:18Speaker 5: This is where we're normally, well.
- 1:08:20Speaker 10: We're going about over there, well, way over there, because
- 1:08:24Speaker 10: that's where the cars go.
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: You know what's going on, right, sir? You're young, coming
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: for twenty years? I believe is that said fire lane
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: for twenty years?
- 1:08:35Speaker 4: Is that an alien ship or an electric I.
- 1:08:37Speaker 10: Think you can tell the evry So they they don't
- 1:08:40Speaker 10: fight me like the last first woman did.
- 1:08:42Speaker 4: They send a kid out to pick it up, and
- 1:08:44Speaker 4: even he gave a little weepskeep like he knew it
- 1:08:46Speaker 4: was going on.
- 1:08:46Speaker 10: Okay, but they can't let me have the last word.
- 1:08:50Speaker 10: The dad has to argue, we've been coming here twenty.
- 1:08:52Speaker 4: Years, Well then you should.
- 1:08:54Speaker 10: Then you haven't noticed a cart return, No, and you're
- 1:08:56Speaker 10: twenty years of life coming to this this warehouse club.
- 1:08:59Speaker 8: Well, dads an't gonna let you get the last word
- 1:09:00Speaker 8: in front of their kids exactly.
- 1:09:02Speaker 10: Even they may even know they're doing the right they're
- 1:09:03Speaker 10: admitting yeap doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. So let's see
- 1:09:06Speaker 10: if Jeff can talk some sense into this dad.
- 1:09:08Speaker 4: All right, Agent Sebastian. Supervisor Jeff is on the scene.
- 1:09:11Speaker 6: I'm a supervisor. How do you think our agent was today?
- 1:09:15Speaker 6: Was he polite and friendly?
- 1:09:17Speaker 13: Fin?
- 1:09:18Speaker 6: He's okay?
- 1:09:18Speaker 12: Who is he?
- 1:09:19Speaker 5: I'm sorry, we don't have time for this.
- 1:09:21Speaker 2: A good job.
- 1:09:22Speaker 9: Just do my job.
- 1:09:22Speaker 6: I'm doing my job, sir. I'm doing my job. I'm
- 1:09:26Speaker 6: making sure. Oh, you don't have to cuss. That's not necessary.
- 1:09:32Speaker 8: He's telling Jef to do his job as he's doing
- 1:09:35Speaker 8: his job.
- 1:09:36Speaker 4: I'm literally doing job. Can I do my job more
- 1:09:39Speaker 4: than what I'm doing right now?
- 1:09:40Speaker 9: Off?
- 1:09:42Speaker 5: And he had his wife roll up the windows.
- 1:09:44Speaker 4: Yeah, he's here like.
- 1:09:45Speaker 10: This is this is a classics you know, the kids
- 1:09:47Speaker 10: doing the work. The wife is apologized, and the dad's
- 1:09:49Speaker 10: telling you to have off classic family dynamic. So I
- 1:09:54Speaker 10: don't know, hopefully the kid will shape them up.
- 1:09:56Speaker 3: All right?
- 1:09:56Speaker 4: What do you show? Cart and arts?
- 1:09:58Speaker 10: So this last one, this guy he had parked a
- 1:10:00Speaker 10: little ways away, but and there's a card return pretty close.
- 1:10:03Speaker 10: But even closer next to him was an empty spot
- 1:10:06Speaker 10: and so he dumps the card there. But it's a
- 1:10:08Speaker 10: little windy and there's a little bit of an angle
- 1:10:11Speaker 10: and so as I'm seeing him dump the cart, it
- 1:10:12Speaker 10: begins rolling away, perhaps to even hit his own truck.
- 1:10:17Speaker 4: So I run up on this fella.
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: I was blowing away.
- 1:10:20Speaker 15: Directly behind will lift pree w wall flow away behind
- 1:10:23Speaker 15: his own truck.
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: Look at this mind is there there? Did you see
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: there's one hundred and fifty I've met the cart return?
- 1:10:30Speaker 15: I pined, Okay, yeah, yeah, who are you when the things? Yeah?
- 1:10:34Speaker 16: Yeah?
- 1:10:34Speaker 10: And did he use any kind of like reasoning to say, well,
- 1:10:36Speaker 10: maybe that's not where they go?
- 1:10:37Speaker 4: Huh excuse? Was I find it there? See that one?
- 1:10:39Speaker 11: Yeah?
- 1:10:39Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm not the only one they.
- 1:10:40Speaker 4: Love pointing out the one that's loose and not the
- 1:10:42Speaker 4: one hundred and fifty There are the cart return? Yeah
- 1:10:44Speaker 4: they could that guy.
- 1:10:47Speaker 10: So he's but he does get out and because it's
- 1:10:49Speaker 10: it's it, he can't argue it because it is rolling
- 1:10:51Speaker 10: away at the moment I'm out there, and uh, Jeff
- 1:10:54Speaker 10: comes up to do the after action reports.
- 1:10:58Speaker 5: He had a hard day.
- 1:11:00Speaker 6: You learned your lessons are about cards.
- 1:11:02Speaker 5: It's good.
- 1:11:03Speaker 9: Yeah, it's good. Okay, yeah, every time coming every time,
- 1:11:06Speaker 9: and my kids when they come in with my kids say, hey,
- 1:11:09Speaker 9: does I'm gonna help you and you're coming. Oh, you
- 1:11:11Speaker 9: have great kids.
- 1:11:12Speaker 10: And yes, I'm a very embarrassed because I don't want
- 1:11:16Speaker 10: the CSA people lazy.
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: Yeah, you are very nice person.
- 1:11:22Speaker 9: You know what.
- 1:11:22Speaker 4: I almost feel like Jeff has this weird kind of
- 1:11:25Speaker 4: calming that he his presence is actually helping your cause,
- 1:11:30Speaker 4: which if the cause is trying to get people to
- 1:11:32Speaker 4: realize that they've made the mistake and see the error
- 1:11:35Speaker 4: of their ways and that next time they'll put the
- 1:11:38Speaker 4: card back, this might be the secret sauce.
- 1:11:42Speaker 8: He's like, just Okay, what do you think?
- 1:11:44Speaker 5: Maybe it's the tie.
- 1:11:47Speaker 10: He's not He's not telling them one thing or the other.
- 1:11:49Speaker 10: He's just asking questions.
- 1:11:50Speaker 8: This is the first time ever in the history of cartnarks,
- 1:11:52Speaker 8: I actually feel sorry for somebody. I'm embarrased.
- 1:11:55Speaker 4: My kids make me do.
- 1:11:56Speaker 3: It's a learning experience.
- 1:11:58Speaker 4: Well some people, some people grow older, they don't grow up.
- 1:12:01Speaker 4: But this guy, I think grew three sizes too big.
- 1:12:05Speaker 4: Let me ask Jeff about his overall cart and Arcs experience, like, so,
- 1:12:09Speaker 4: what was it like? Were you nervous at all? Because
- 1:12:11Speaker 4: now some of these people get crazy like going into
- 1:12:13Speaker 4: it because yeah, I don't know, you don't know what
- 1:12:15Speaker 4: to expect. You don't know how people are going to react.
- 1:12:18Speaker 5: Well, I mean, honestly, I never really thought about that.
- 1:12:20Speaker 6: I looked at us like I got to do a
- 1:12:22Speaker 6: job and I got to get some good audio.
- 1:12:23Speaker 5: And that was it.
- 1:12:24Speaker 6: Man, Like I'm all in and that Sea Bass in
- 1:12:27Speaker 6: action was impressive. Yeah, it was awesome, honestly, Like, and
- 1:12:31Speaker 6: so many people that come up to him when we're
- 1:12:33Speaker 6: looking around for cards, and then all the people at
- 1:12:36Speaker 6: the store that their job is to collect cards were
- 1:12:38Speaker 6: thanking him and high fiving him. And at one point
- 1:12:41Speaker 6: we thought we were going to get kicked out because
- 1:12:43Speaker 6: the manager came out, but he was like, hey.
- 1:12:45Speaker 5: Man, you guys need your water anything.
- 1:12:47Speaker 9: He was like so thankful that Sea Bass was there
- 1:12:51Speaker 9: doing his thing. My question is did you guys arrive
- 1:12:55Speaker 9: to the location together? Did you take a car?
- 1:12:57Speaker 5: No, we did not.
- 1:12:58Speaker 4: You didn't get to go in there.
- 1:13:00Speaker 9: It was closer.
- 1:13:00Speaker 4: It was close to jeff GY's house.
- 1:13:02Speaker 10: But no, it's I And I tell people like f
- 1:13:05Speaker 10: y I, they're gonna be super mad at me, but
- 1:13:07Speaker 10: if you're there with me, they're not gonna hurt you.
- 1:13:10Speaker 10: And like Jeff said to people are not ten to
- 1:13:13Speaker 10: ten to one people are cool. The people are mean
- 1:13:15Speaker 10: and nasty, but the mean and nasty ones something to
- 1:13:17Speaker 10: be dealt with.
- 1:13:18Speaker 4: Well, it is narc week because the shark Wei gun discovery.
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: Yeah, gonna do.
- 1:13:26Speaker 9: When they's so nice?
- 1:13:27Speaker 3: Word, what you're gonna do?
- 1:13:30Speaker 4: What you're gonna do when?
- 1:13:33Speaker 10: Yeah, because you blocked the handicapped spot with your didn't
- 1:13:37Speaker 10: look anything?
- 1:13:38Speaker 4: Well, what's that?
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: What's the.
- 1:13:41Speaker 4: Time?
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: What's that right there? The front of the store is
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: right there?
- 1:13:45Speaker 10: You did recard first, man, I don't think you understand
- 1:13:49Speaker 10: the first Amendments of the damn Constitution, which says we have.
- 1:13:52Speaker 15: The freedom of speech to stop people like yourself from
- 1:13:56Speaker 15: being darn old lazybones who hate free to watch out
- 1:13:58Speaker 15: behind you.
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: Sorry, man, she's very lazy. Oh lazy bones.
- 1:14:01Speaker 4: You're a jest.
- 1:14:08Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:14:08Speaker 4: I want to give the Cartnark supervisor Jeff g An
- 1:14:12Speaker 4: opportunity to speak on this first, because I think you
- 1:14:15Speaker 4: would be more sensitive to this than you know, eight
- 1:14:19Speaker 4: agents of bastians not really sensitive to many things at all.
- 1:14:23Speaker 4: But somebody said, I've never seen Sea Basket aggressive so
- 1:14:26Speaker 4: quickly with Americans as he did with this immigrant, And
- 1:14:30Speaker 4: there was something there was something else in there too, like.
- 1:14:34Speaker 8: He only picks on minority He.
- 1:14:35Speaker 4: Only picks on minorities for the carton arking. What was
- 1:14:40Speaker 4: your observation in that?
- 1:14:41Speaker 5: No, I mean he treated everybody the same.
- 1:14:44Speaker 6: And U those are only three out of about you know,
- 1:14:47Speaker 6: seven or so that we approached.
- 1:14:50Speaker 5: You know, they'll just be happen to be the ones
- 1:14:51Speaker 5: that he played today. But no, he treated everybody equally.
- 1:14:54Speaker 5: He wasn't. I mean, I don't think he was aggressive
- 1:14:56Speaker 5: at all. I mean, he just was doing his job
- 1:14:58Speaker 5: as a carton arch. Yeah.
- 1:14:59Speaker 4: Who point is to get the best reactions, So the
- 1:15:02Speaker 4: people that you hear on the air are the best reactions.
- 1:15:04Speaker 4: There's a bunch of other people that he's approached that
- 1:15:07Speaker 4: just don't give you a boring Yeah. And so we
- 1:15:09Speaker 4: you know, we don't we don't hear those, We don't
- 1:15:11Speaker 4: play those in the in the segment.
- 1:15:13Speaker 5: No, but he was equal opportunity to destroyer.
- 1:15:17Speaker 4: Excuses. Yeah.
- 1:15:18Speaker 6: Yeah, So, I mean I think that's b as and
- 1:15:21Speaker 6: I think you're looking way too hard into it.
- 1:15:22Speaker 13: Man.
- 1:15:23Speaker 10: It sounds like you're blaming immigrants for leading carts out
- 1:15:25Speaker 10: not cool, texture not.
- 1:15:26Speaker 4: Cool, making a lot of assumptions and c best you
- 1:15:29Speaker 4: weren't in the room because we had gone to the
- 1:15:31Speaker 4: break when Jeff said this, But he did pay you
- 1:15:34Speaker 4: a compliment when it comes to your athletic prowess. Did
- 1:15:37Speaker 4: I told you I had to run after one? We didn't.
- 1:15:39Speaker 10: It wasn't part of the audio, but there was one
- 1:15:40Speaker 10: guy who they do this very oftense will drive. They'll
- 1:15:43Speaker 10: drive halfway across the parking lot and then throw then
- 1:15:45Speaker 10: throw the magnet away. But of course I'm aware of this,
- 1:15:48Speaker 10: so I'll wait until they stop and then put a
- 1:15:50Speaker 10: new magnet on.
- 1:15:52Speaker 7: Wait.
- 1:15:52Speaker 6: Yeah, the guy that was in the older lady's car,
- 1:15:55Speaker 6: the first one that we played, the guy that supposedly
- 1:15:57Speaker 6: had an emergency to get it too, got out of
- 1:15:59Speaker 6: the are and through the magnet somewhere.
- 1:16:01Speaker 5: So obviously he wasn't very hurt, obviously.
- 1:16:06Speaker 6: But yeah, the one thing I noticed is when seabast
- 1:16:08Speaker 6: will notice that person in the cart. He's got a
- 1:16:10Speaker 6: very distinct way of noticing everything.
- 1:16:12Speaker 5: Man.
- 1:16:12Speaker 6: He gets out of the gate fast like a sprinter,
- 1:16:15Speaker 6: and he gets right over to the situation and addresses it.
- 1:16:17Speaker 6: So my bad form misjudging your athletic prowess, bro, you
- 1:16:20Speaker 6: are you are a top tier man.
- 1:16:24Speaker 10: You know.
- 1:16:24Speaker 4: It's kind of like.
- 1:16:24Speaker 10: How you know, Luca, you look at Luca, don chik
- 1:16:27Speaker 10: or you're like whatever.
- 1:16:31Speaker 4: But that they just think they.
- 1:16:32Speaker 10: Just know the game so well, and they move in
- 1:16:35Speaker 10: such a way that they're just pastoring everybody.
- 1:16:36Speaker 4: Like I did witness a conversation the other day when
- 1:16:41Speaker 4: I was arriving at the grocery store and I'm walking
- 1:16:43Speaker 4: to the front and there's, uh, my grocery store, and
- 1:16:45Speaker 4: then there's a pet Smart right next door, and PetSmart
- 1:16:49Speaker 4: has their own carts, right, and so these people had
- 1:16:52Speaker 4: gone to the pet Smart first. They wheeled the cart
- 1:16:55Speaker 4: from the pet Smart up to where the grocery store is,
- 1:16:58Speaker 4: which there was a pretty good two big yeah. Right,
- 1:17:01Speaker 4: So the divider wall between the two stores is kind
- 1:17:04Speaker 4: of somewhere in the middle, and there's a there's there's
- 1:17:06Speaker 4: a great distance in between. Well, they took the the
- 1:17:09Speaker 4: pet Smart cart all the way up to the grocery store,
- 1:17:12Speaker 4: left it there, and she goes, where are you gonna
- 1:17:14Speaker 4: bring the cart back? He goes, Ah, he goes, and
- 1:17:18Speaker 4: then so then he starts pushing it back towards the
- 1:17:20Speaker 4: Pet Smart. I go, wow, this guy, he's doing the
- 1:17:23Speaker 4: right thing. Yep, Nope, he got it about halfway to
- 1:17:26Speaker 4: where it was technically on pet Smart's side. Oh my,
- 1:17:30Speaker 4: and then leaned it up against the planter that was
- 1:17:32Speaker 4: right there in the middle of the sidewalk. I like,
- 1:17:34Speaker 4: you already went halfway at this point. We're only talking
- 1:17:37Speaker 4: about another sixty feet and it would have been there,
- 1:17:41Speaker 4: like you already went that far in a rush. Yeah,
- 1:17:45Speaker 4: well it has it was left it there.
- 1:17:46Speaker 10: It's like as a psychological phenomenon, where like, once you've
- 1:17:49Speaker 10: decided you're not going to do it, you're not gonna
- 1:17:51Speaker 10: do it.
- 1:17:51Speaker 4: Uh huh.
- 1:17:52Speaker 10: Again, this is child behavior. You tell your kids and
- 1:17:55Speaker 10: they just don't want to do it. They're gonna find
- 1:17:56Speaker 10: a way to do it half assed or not do
- 1:17:58Speaker 10: it so they get to win.
- 1:17:59Speaker 4: That'll show you.
- 1:18:00Speaker 3: I think you all disagree with me, but I think
- 1:18:03Speaker 3: one of the problems with this whole thing is that
- 1:18:06Speaker 3: people go to the store. You generally have an idea
- 1:18:09Speaker 3: of what you're going to get. If you're just getting
- 1:18:11Speaker 3: some ground beef and a pack of Hamburger buns, why
- 1:18:14Speaker 3: do you need an f and cart. I was behind
- 1:18:16Speaker 3: a woman in line the other day. She had two
- 1:18:19Speaker 3: things in her cart. You could have either carried them
- 1:18:21Speaker 3: in your hand or used one of those hand baskets.
- 1:18:23Speaker 4: What I think.
- 1:18:23Speaker 3: I think with the damn card, you don't need a
- 1:18:25Speaker 3: cart carry.
- 1:18:28Speaker 4: Who cares?
- 1:18:30Speaker 3: Most of them are not putting him back, And a
- 1:18:33Speaker 3: lot of these people this cart narks would demand for
- 1:18:36Speaker 3: cart narks would be lessened.
- 1:18:37Speaker 4: Pole are just in a habit man, they they pick
- 1:18:40Speaker 4: it up, then wake up, get.
- 1:18:41Speaker 3: Out of your phone.
- 1:18:42Speaker 8: You're right because those are also the people that park
- 1:18:44Speaker 8: right in the middle of the aisle and they're dicking around.
- 1:18:47Speaker 4: Have you ever screwed up?
- 1:18:48Speaker 13: Though?
- 1:18:48Speaker 4: Where are you going there? Just for a couple of things?
- 1:18:50Speaker 4: Next thing, you know, like as you're in there, now
- 1:18:52Speaker 4: you have your day in.
- 1:18:55Speaker 10: The cart I should have got a car car damn it.
- 1:18:57Speaker 10: Another thing too, greg with women perse they love putting
- 1:19:01Speaker 10: a purse.
- 1:19:05Speaker 5: So Cark Sebastian.
- 1:19:07Speaker 6: I know i'm your supervisor technically, but how how would
- 1:19:11Speaker 6: you like to rate my job that I did out there?
- 1:19:13Speaker 10: Well, you know, it's his first time and as you
- 1:19:15Speaker 10: kind of heard, I was helping him along a little bit.
- 1:19:18Speaker 10: But as far as you know, going through the checklist
- 1:19:20Speaker 10: we had, he was it was good.
- 1:19:23Speaker 4: I think he could have pressed.
- 1:19:24Speaker 12: People a little more, okay.
- 1:19:27Speaker 10: But then again, that's kind of like Gina said, his presence,
- 1:19:32Speaker 10: isn't that so.
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: Your job?
- 1:19:36Speaker 4: It's like the bad cop? Yeah, yeah, exactly. Also like
- 1:19:39Speaker 4: I mean, Jeff's natural demeanor is pretty chill. Yeah, I mean,
- 1:19:42Speaker 4: you have a very diplomatic way of going about things.
- 1:19:45Speaker 6: I can press people. I'm here for the smoke. I'll
- 1:19:46Speaker 6: do it again next time.
- 1:19:49Speaker 5: I enjoy it.
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: You don't have to, but it was.
- 1:19:51Speaker 10: It was good to have that because then it's good
- 1:19:52Speaker 10: to them. Hear them then justify their idiocy to another person.
- 1:19:56Speaker 6: Then it would be just double smoke. You know, I
- 1:19:58Speaker 6: really want to sweat at supermarkets. So are old people
- 1:20:00Speaker 6: that still write checks?
- 1:20:02Speaker 5: That happened That.
- 1:20:04Speaker 9: Happened to me recently, And man, I don't see it
- 1:20:06Speaker 9: very often.
- 1:20:07Speaker 4: Damn.
- 1:20:08Speaker 5: They hold up the line and they write to check
- 1:20:09Speaker 5: for more than the groceries that they so they could
- 1:20:12Speaker 5: get more changed.
- 1:20:13Speaker 4: And this old lady they're writing a check so they
- 1:20:16Speaker 4: can get cash. Yeah, my mom would do that in
- 1:20:21Speaker 4: the eighties.
- 1:20:21Speaker 5: Yeah, and then they this lady got fives.
- 1:20:24Speaker 6: And ones and coins, the whole gamut of all kinds
- 1:20:27Speaker 6: of bills. And I'm just sitting back there, I'm like, dude,
- 1:20:30Speaker 6: I got like seven or eight things come on.
- 1:20:32Speaker 4: You know you can still do that. It was awful. Yeah,
- 1:20:35Speaker 4: I mean, you know, you don't see it very like again,
- 1:20:36Speaker 4: you don't see it very often.
- 1:20:38Speaker 8: Does everyone still accept checks at grocery stores?
- 1:20:40Speaker 5: Apparently?
- 1:20:40Speaker 11: So?
- 1:20:41Speaker 4: Yeah, I guess so shocking. Yeah, I recently used cash
- 1:20:46Speaker 4: for something because of the place I was at. There, like, oh, hey,
- 1:20:48Speaker 4: uh the machine, we're having to reboot the whatever and
- 1:20:52Speaker 4: then you can wait. It's going to be about another
- 1:20:53Speaker 4: you know, five or ten minutes before the thing fires
- 1:20:55Speaker 4: back up. But if you have cash, I actually did.
- 1:20:58Speaker 4: I actually had like a ten on me which cover it.
- 1:21:00Speaker 4: But it was weird. It's been a long time since
- 1:21:03Speaker 4: I actually got coins back. Yeah, it wasn't a waste
- 1:21:06Speaker 4: of time.
- 1:21:07Speaker 3: It was just odd.
- 1:21:08Speaker 4: I wasn't used to.
- 1:21:09Speaker 8: Was it a little coin slide?
- 1:21:11Speaker 4: No, No, they just handed They just handed me the
- 1:21:13Speaker 4: But like when I was walking around for the rest
- 1:21:14Speaker 4: of the day, it was the first time in a
- 1:21:15Speaker 4: long time I heard any clanging in my pocket, the change.
- 1:21:20Speaker 3: You know what?
- 1:21:20Speaker 4: It was nostalgic, Yeah, use it for the meat.
- 1:21:24Speaker 9: Carried any cash.
- 1:21:25Speaker 12: In so long?
- 1:21:26Speaker 4: I carried it mostly for tips.
- 1:21:27Speaker 10: How do you like, can you grease your way into
- 1:21:29Speaker 10: clubs and stuff.
- 1:21:30Speaker 12: Mant uh I don't.
- 1:21:32Speaker 4: A town in Switzerland is in the headlines for making
- 1:21:35Speaker 4: sure that people clean up bat for their pets. We've
- 1:21:36Speaker 4: heard about it before where they you know, they they
- 1:21:39Speaker 4: have like the DNA stuff for the kaka. But in
- 1:21:43Speaker 4: this town they passed a new rule to make sure
- 1:21:45Speaker 4: that you wash your dog's pee out. So like you
- 1:21:48Speaker 4: bring water and you dilute it down as soon as
- 1:21:51Speaker 4: as soon as as soon as the dog takes a leak,
- 1:21:55Speaker 4: you're supposed to take your bottle of water that you
- 1:21:57Speaker 4: bring with you and pour it over there. That way
- 1:21:59Speaker 4: is like it doesn't burn. Yeah, the grass out. That's
- 1:22:02Speaker 4: why you see those spots in the grass for the
- 1:22:04Speaker 4: animals being That's.
- 1:22:05Speaker 10: Why she peeled paint on light poles in my neighborhood.
- 1:22:07Speaker 10: Yeah oh yeah, yeah. So dog walkers are now expected
- 1:22:10Speaker 10: to carry a bottle of water with them. They usual
- 1:22:12Speaker 10: to wash the urine that's left in public places. The
- 1:22:15Speaker 10: reason for the rule leaders of the town they're tired
- 1:22:17Speaker 10: of the smell. Also the mess of the burned out
- 1:22:22Speaker 10: spots and the grass and the different things, especially if
- 1:22:25Speaker 10: it sits in the sun all day and if you
- 1:22:27Speaker 10: fail to follow the rule.
- 1:22:28Speaker 4: First time offenders get a warning. Repeat offenders get a
- 1:22:31Speaker 4: fine of up to one hundred and twenty five dollars.
- 1:22:36Speaker 8: I was walking my dog yesterday and I only had
- 1:22:38Speaker 8: one bag and she pooped twice, and there was nobody out,
- 1:22:41Speaker 8: but I was. I was on the same block as
- 1:22:43Speaker 8: my house was far down, and I yelled into the abyss.
- 1:22:47Speaker 14: I'm going back to get it back, and I did.
- 1:22:51Speaker 4: Everybody has cameras.
- 1:22:53Speaker 11: So.
- 1:22:54Speaker 4: It doesn't sound or look appealing at all. It's just
- 1:22:57Speaker 4: like you got to pretend that they're actually entertaining.
- 1:23:00Speaker 17: Yeah, I pretend it is exhausting.
- 1:23:03Speaker 4: The Wood Show. We were just talking about this, and
- 1:23:09Speaker 4: look what just came through this morning.
- 1:23:11Speaker 2: You guys, my American Express notification that Direct TV has
- 1:23:17Speaker 2: hit the hit the American Express for their monthly their
- 1:23:21Speaker 2: monthly payments.
- 1:23:22Speaker 4: So you've been getting these notices. I don't. I don't
- 1:23:25Speaker 4: see that hold on unless I'm looking for it. But
- 1:23:28Speaker 4: I just noticed it when it came through this morning.
- 1:23:31Speaker 13: Thank you for your payment.
- 1:23:32Speaker 4: Yeah, no problem. Yeah. So it's a one of those where.
- 1:23:37Speaker 9: You you're paying for something that you're not really using.
- 1:23:42Speaker 4: We were talking about gym memberships. You sign up for
- 1:23:45Speaker 4: gym memberships and espally. Automatic payments are great because I
- 1:23:48Speaker 4: don't want to have to think about it. But at
- 1:23:51Speaker 4: the same time, by not thinking about that's what they're
- 1:23:53Speaker 4: counting on. They're they're counting on me being dumb, just
- 1:23:57Speaker 4: an idiot and not really paying all that close of attention,
- 1:24:00Speaker 4: and then before you know it, you're paying for a
- 1:24:03Speaker 4: bunch of stuff that you don't even use. I've been
- 1:24:05Speaker 4: really good about stuff through Apple Pay because anything I
- 1:24:09Speaker 4: pay through Apple Pay will show up and I can
- 1:24:12Speaker 4: go in there and go, nope, cancel, cancel, cancel under
- 1:24:15Speaker 4: your settings. You know, you go into the and you
- 1:24:18Speaker 4: can see it. Sometimes apps or things that you've signed
- 1:24:21Speaker 4: up for then the seven day free trial that it
- 1:24:24Speaker 4: becomes a weekly charge or a monthly charge, and you
- 1:24:26Speaker 4: forgot because you just wanted to try this out for
- 1:24:29Speaker 4: whatever you were doing in that moment, and you forgot
- 1:24:31Speaker 4: about it. That's the game. You got to come up
- 1:24:33Speaker 4: with some kind of app that gets people too.
- 1:24:36Speaker 9: There are some out there that will go through your
- 1:24:38Speaker 9: bank statement and then figure out what you're paying for.
- 1:24:42Speaker 4: No sure, but I'm saying, like, you know, create an
- 1:24:43Speaker 4: app cash or something like that. That's enough of a
- 1:24:46Speaker 4: draw that people. You know, it's nothing fancy, but just
- 1:24:49Speaker 4: enough of a draw that people will do the seven
- 1:24:51Speaker 4: day free trial and then forget they did it. And
- 1:24:54Speaker 4: then you just like rake in that money and you
- 1:24:57Speaker 4: use it while you can. You do it while you can,
- 1:24:58Speaker 4: until people get wise to it.
- 1:25:00Speaker 3: Or set a reminder for themselves.
- 1:25:02Speaker 4: Yeah, but what do you what are you really out?
- 1:25:04Speaker 4: But yeah, man, direct TV three hundred and seventy six
- 1:25:06Speaker 4: dollars and seventy four cents. And I can't tell you
- 1:25:09Speaker 4: the last time I put direct TV on because if
- 1:25:11Speaker 4: I'm watching something it's through an app. That's crazy. Yeah,
- 1:25:15Speaker 4: So that that's on my to do list this week.
- 1:25:18Speaker 4: I did make a note of it. I will be
- 1:25:20Speaker 4: uh well, because now, I mean you know, I didn't.
- 1:25:24Speaker 4: I had to dig pretty deep to find we were
- 1:25:25Speaker 4: trying to figure out how much I was paying. So
- 1:25:28Speaker 4: it figures that it was today.
- 1:25:30Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:25:30Speaker 3: Well, next time you're in bed, scrolling right, take care
- 1:25:33Speaker 3: of it.
- 1:25:34Speaker 8: Oh yeah, scroll on that.
- 1:25:35Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:25:35Speaker 4: See, that's that's the thing, man. You gotta you gotta, like,
- 1:25:39Speaker 4: every once in a while, do that spring cleaning of
- 1:25:42Speaker 4: all your stuff. Just go through everything and just make
- 1:25:45Speaker 4: sure that everything is in order. Yeah, because you get busy.
- 1:25:48Speaker 4: I understand, you know things things get busy, but you're
- 1:25:51Speaker 4: what anybody else, like what are you paying for? Like
- 1:25:53Speaker 4: do you have a story? At least I know I'm
- 1:25:54Speaker 4: not the only person. There's plenty of people who do that.
- 1:25:56Speaker 9: I just opened up what we're talking about right now
- 1:25:58Speaker 9: on my phone of all the apps that I signed
- 1:26:01Speaker 9: up for that I forgot that I'm paid, and it
- 1:26:04Speaker 9: looks like I'm paying one hundred and thirty five dollars
- 1:26:07Speaker 9: worth of apps that I really don't need at all,
- 1:26:10Speaker 9: Like what like this photo editing app that I signed
- 1:26:15Speaker 9: up for that costs twenty four dollars a one this
- 1:26:18Speaker 9: other video editing app that I don't use per month,
- 1:26:22Speaker 9: there's one paramount plus which I blame Tyler for on
- 1:26:26Speaker 9: screwing me because we were sitting together at a bar
- 1:26:30Speaker 9: and I wanted a dual screen like the Fight to
- 1:26:32Speaker 9: go watch. We're watching soccer, but then I wanted to
- 1:26:35Speaker 9: watch the UFC fight that was on at the same time.
- 1:26:37Speaker 9: He watched me go through the whole process of signing
- 1:26:40Speaker 9: up for it and putting in my credit card information.
- 1:26:43Speaker 9: As I was going to put my phone down to
- 1:26:46Speaker 9: watch it, he takes his phone and puts it in
- 1:26:49Speaker 9: front of me with paramount plus already he watched me
- 1:26:51Speaker 9: go through everything just before I was about to put
- 1:26:54Speaker 9: it down to watch it hate. I'm like, bro, why'd
- 1:26:57Speaker 9: you watch me sign up for it when you had
- 1:26:59Speaker 9: it the entire time?
- 1:27:01Speaker 4: He gets Menace back when he can it is.
- 1:27:05Speaker 9: What the hell was that about?
- 1:27:07Speaker 4: Like Menace dunks on Tyler so often that you know
- 1:27:09Speaker 4: he waits for his opportunity, like, oh cool, you signed
- 1:27:11Speaker 4: up for that.
- 1:27:12Speaker 9: Cool in the moment, but yeah, so but what's cool
- 1:27:18Speaker 9: about what you're saying? Yeah, you can go through and
- 1:27:21Speaker 9: I'm just gonna hit cancel on all this stuff.
- 1:27:23Speaker 8: So you're doing it now?
- 1:27:25Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:27:25Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:27:26Speaker 8: Besides my big reveal confession mortifying that I had been
- 1:27:30Speaker 8: paying for years for storage unit that I had forgotten about,
- 1:27:34Speaker 8: didn't care about, and you know that was thousands of dollars.
- 1:27:36Speaker 4: Oh yeah, those things man, that got me.
- 1:27:38Speaker 8: And the day we cleared that out is like the
- 1:27:40Speaker 8: weight of the world was lifted off my chest. But
- 1:27:42Speaker 8: I just realized that I'm still paying for a Northern
- 1:27:47Speaker 8: Lights tracker app from when I went to Iceland a
- 1:27:50Speaker 8: year ago, and one night I can't believe that.
- 1:27:55Speaker 4: You point the phone to the sky and it tells
- 1:27:57Speaker 4: you what everything is.
- 1:27:58Speaker 8: Yeah, but it was more like a map, and it's
- 1:28:00Speaker 8: like but it's almost it's more like user generated, like, oh,
- 1:28:05Speaker 8: someone spotted one over here, Okay, let's get in the car.
- 1:28:08Speaker 8: It's like, I haven't been in Iceland.
- 1:28:13Speaker 4: I don't I don't have it. But I did see
- 1:28:15Speaker 4: in action one time. Somebody that I was with did
- 1:28:18Speaker 4: the night and all the stars are out there and
- 1:28:20Speaker 4: you literally hold your phone up, you know, and and
- 1:28:23Speaker 4: it'll show you like, all right, that is this, this
- 1:28:25Speaker 4: is a major and identify. Oh there's there's whatever whatever
- 1:28:29Speaker 4: the whatever the planet was, or that's you know, yeah,
- 1:28:32Speaker 4: there's the Big Dipper.
- 1:28:33Speaker 9: I spoke in my backyard and I do that all night.
- 1:28:36Speaker 8: I was just gonna say, that's a one time thing
- 1:28:37Speaker 8: when you're high. You don't need that all the time.
- 1:28:39Speaker 4: Pretty fun, Yeah, it was pretty cool.
- 1:28:42Speaker 3: My most recent one was I saw a preview for
- 1:28:45Speaker 3: this really trippy show called from Oh yeah, it looked
- 1:28:49Speaker 3: really good, and then to watch it you had to
- 1:28:52Speaker 3: have MGM plus. I didn't even know that.
- 1:28:55Speaker 4: Was GM plus yea even know that was a thing.
- 1:28:57Speaker 3: I never even heard of that really, so it says
- 1:28:59Speaker 3: you watch it, but then after one week it'll be
- 1:29:03Speaker 3: I think seven ninety nine a month. So of course
- 1:29:05Speaker 3: I set my little alarm to tell me to cancel it,
- 1:29:08Speaker 3: and I forgot. Oh no, So then I'm like, okay,
- 1:29:11Speaker 3: now I got MGM plus for another month for eight bucks.
- 1:29:14Speaker 4: The other trick to that, And I don't know why
- 1:29:17Speaker 4: anybody you know doesn't think about that. I've done the
- 1:29:19Speaker 4: same thing where you don't have to wait the seven
- 1:29:21Speaker 4: days before you cancel it. You can sign up for it, yes,
- 1:29:24Speaker 4: that for the seven day trial, and then as soon
- 1:29:26Speaker 4: as it activates, you just cancel.
- 1:29:28Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:29:28Speaker 8: I always assumed that once I hit cancel it, it
- 1:29:32Speaker 8: cancels that day.
- 1:29:32Speaker 4: It'll just know it does until the end of your
- 1:29:35Speaker 4: seven days, so you have your seven days and it
- 1:29:37Speaker 4: doesn't renew, or if you signed up for that you
- 1:29:40Speaker 4: know whatever. Let's say like today, you know, I canceled
- 1:29:43Speaker 4: this direct TV thing, like it just doesn't do it
- 1:29:46Speaker 4: the next month, but like from now until the end
- 1:29:49Speaker 4: of that billing cycle that you just paid for or whatever,
- 1:29:51Speaker 4: then it's still good. Like if you signed up for
- 1:29:53Speaker 4: an annual on one of these apps, and I'll say, okay, well,
- 1:29:55Speaker 4: I'm canceling out. I don't want to renew it when
- 1:29:57Speaker 4: it comes up for renewal. But between now and whenever
- 1:30:00Speaker 4: it was supposed to expire, it's still good.
- 1:30:02Speaker 8: But you want to use it day off DirecTV noway
- 1:30:04Speaker 8: because you're going to discover something you love and then
- 1:30:06Speaker 8: you're going to re up it again. So just stay
- 1:30:08Speaker 8: off of it like it never happened.
- 1:30:09Speaker 14: Yeah, yeah, I did.
- 1:30:11Speaker 13: I did this with Audible because I really wanted to listen.
- 1:30:14Speaker 13: There was an audiobook I was going to get into
- 1:30:15Speaker 13: the audiobook game and Mel Robbins let them.
- 1:30:18Speaker 14: Theory, which I highly recommend.
- 1:30:21Speaker 13: Yes, So then I was like, oh, I'll probably find
- 1:30:24Speaker 13: some other books that I love. But I'm not really
- 1:30:25Speaker 13: a book person. I don't even know how to find
- 1:30:27Speaker 13: things that I love. So it's charging you every month
- 1:30:31Speaker 13: and you accrue you know, it's like, oh, you have
- 1:30:32Speaker 13: one credit, and so you keep all the credits until
- 1:30:35Speaker 13: you find a book that you want to read. And
- 1:30:37Speaker 13: I ended up with like six or seven credits, and
- 1:30:40Speaker 13: I thought, I'm just going to cancel it, but your
- 1:30:41Speaker 13: credits disappear once you do that, and I'm like, well,
- 1:30:44Speaker 13: already paid for these, and I don't want my credits
- 1:30:46Speaker 13: to disappear.
- 1:30:48Speaker 4: That's what I ran into with massage envy.
- 1:30:50Speaker 14: Yeah, because you aren't. They were sitting there for you.
- 1:30:52Speaker 4: Yeah, and when you cancel, you have to like use
- 1:30:56Speaker 4: them within like that. I had like eighty some massages
- 1:31:00Speaker 4: all built up like that were already paid for, right,
- 1:31:04Speaker 4: How have the hell am I going to go through
- 1:31:05Speaker 4: eighty massages in the five days that I was given?
- 1:31:09Speaker 4: And so basically you just you you sacrifice them or
- 1:31:13Speaker 4: lose it, or you keep paying until you use them
- 1:31:16Speaker 4: all and then you cancel.
- 1:31:17Speaker 13: But so I ended up going to cancel, and then
- 1:31:20Speaker 13: it's like, are you sheer? You don't want to just
- 1:31:22Speaker 13: pause for three months? And I was like, actually pause
- 1:31:25Speaker 13: because I have all these credits.
- 1:31:27Speaker 14: That I want to say. And then all of a sudden,
- 1:31:29Speaker 14: three months later, I get hit with the charge and
- 1:31:30Speaker 14: I'm like.
- 1:31:31Speaker 13: I thought I canceled that, And then I was like, oh,
- 1:31:33Speaker 13: I did pause I And what I ended up doing
- 1:31:36Speaker 13: was I texted my friend who's into audio books. I said,
- 1:31:38Speaker 13: are there any audiobooks that you want? Because you can't
- 1:31:40Speaker 13: transfer the credit, but you can buy a book and
- 1:31:42Speaker 13: send it to someone as a gift.
- 1:31:44Speaker 14: She sent me three and I was like, Okay, here
- 1:31:46Speaker 14: you go anymore.
- 1:31:46Speaker 13: She's like no, I just picked six random books and
- 1:31:50Speaker 13: sent them directly to her, and I was like, hope
- 1:31:51Speaker 13: you like them.
- 1:31:52Speaker 14: Maybe you listen, maybe you won't, but I'm canceling this.
- 1:31:54Speaker 4: Back in the day, we had to pick all those
- 1:31:56Speaker 4: CDs for a penny. Yeah, be a house, I don't know,
- 1:32:01Speaker 4: just pick some I don't know. I mean Sea Bass.
- 1:32:05Speaker 4: When he kind of goes through a rotation, I'm very good.
- 1:32:08Speaker 4: So if there's a show on, say HBO Max, he
- 1:32:13Speaker 4: signs up for that, one watches the show, but immediately cancels.
- 1:32:17Speaker 4: I immediately canceled. They did four minutes later. Yeah, and so,
- 1:32:21Speaker 4: but he's constantly rotating around to the different things like
- 1:32:25Speaker 4: how much would you say? Like, how many apps do
- 1:32:27Speaker 4: you have?
- 1:32:27Speaker 10: I'm looking right now a recurring I currently am on
- 1:32:30Speaker 10: Netflix because I watched the Hawk Take It or Leave It?
- 1:32:33Speaker 4: But that's that. And I've got Adobe that's not a
- 1:32:36Speaker 4: real app. Do you have any kind of like YouTube,
- 1:32:38Speaker 4: TV or direct TV cable like for this regular you know,
- 1:32:42Speaker 4: local broadcasts of stuff or none.
- 1:32:46Speaker 10: I got Audible and that that I do listen to
- 1:32:48Speaker 10: the books.
- 1:32:49Speaker 5: So that's ZEUS Network.
- 1:32:51Speaker 10: Yeah, I have a feeling my credit card would end
- 1:32:54Speaker 10: up somewhere in China.
- 1:32:58Speaker 9: Specifically.
- 1:32:59Speaker 8: Yeah, there's a certain clothing brand that I do this
- 1:33:03Speaker 8: a couple times a year where you have to sign
- 1:33:05Speaker 8: up to be a VIP member and then you get
- 1:33:07Speaker 8: this crazy discount and I order all this stuff. That
- 1:33:10Speaker 8: The thing is, if you don't cancel your membership, they
- 1:33:12Speaker 8: charge you like sixty bucks a month to be a member.
- 1:33:15Speaker 8: So the second those clothes show up at my door,
- 1:33:18Speaker 8: I cancel that. Nope, it's a different one that that
- 1:33:22Speaker 8: is great. It right, But you always remember to cancel
- 1:33:27Speaker 8: those because that's the fine print. Like they'll they'll charge
- 1:33:29Speaker 8: you like seventy eight.
- 1:33:29Speaker 10: I was walking I was at a mall Menace, and
- 1:33:31Speaker 10: I was walking by a unit clone. It's like member
- 1:33:32Speaker 10: discount a member, Yeah.
- 1:33:35Speaker 3: Who do you think you are?
- 1:33:37Speaker 9: I know a lot of those clothing brands. Yeah, you'll
- 1:33:39Speaker 9: become a member and the discount is like super heavy,
- 1:33:42Speaker 9: it's crazy, just solid at the price.
- 1:33:45Speaker 4: No sell more. They get your information. I don't need
- 1:33:49Speaker 4: any information. The data is what's valuable to them, so
- 1:33:51Speaker 4: they're willing to basically pay for it by giving you
- 1:33:54Speaker 4: some crazy discount.
- 1:33:55Speaker 10: So here's the thing. We've been talking about this for
- 1:33:56Speaker 10: a long time with data. Isn't my isn't doesn't everyone have.
- 1:33:58Speaker 8: All my data already? Like how valuable? How valuable could
- 1:34:02Speaker 8: it be? They've just been trading it around for the
- 1:34:03Speaker 8: last decade.
- 1:34:05Speaker 4: Six to six. Hey, what can you gift all of
- 1:34:07Speaker 4: your hours of massage Envy? That's what we finally had
- 1:34:09Speaker 4: to do to get rid of my wife's accumulated hours
- 1:34:12Speaker 4: Christmas gifts, Birthday gifts, staff, et cetera for him.
- 1:34:15Speaker 10: What's that We were begging you for theim and you
- 1:34:16Speaker 10: wouldn't give them to us.
- 1:34:18Speaker 4: I just kept forget it.
- 1:34:20Speaker 3: Yeah, you said, no way, I'm.
- 1:34:21Speaker 4: Not going to Yeah I would have you know, I
- 1:34:25Speaker 4: I would love to have a go to you know,
- 1:34:29Speaker 4: use strippers. That was the thing I loved Massage Envy
- 1:34:32Speaker 4: and it was a good deal for like what you
- 1:34:34Speaker 4: paid in the membership would cover the one hour massage.
- 1:34:37Speaker 4: So it's a good concept. But like I'm never where
- 1:34:40Speaker 4: I I schedule something a week out. I'm usually like
- 1:34:43Speaker 4: day of or like the.
- 1:34:44Speaker 3: Next day massage on a whim And yeah.
- 1:34:46Speaker 4: Whenever I would call, they wouldn't have anything available at
- 1:34:50Speaker 4: the time that would work for me, And so they
- 1:34:52Speaker 4: just kept piling up and it just was It just
- 1:34:55Speaker 4: didn't work for me. But it's great, like if you
- 1:34:57Speaker 4: have that flexibility and you could do it. I thought
- 1:34:59Speaker 4: it was awesome. I loved it.
- 1:35:00Speaker 8: Why do we do an all staff field trip and
- 1:35:02Speaker 8: just knock them out.
- 1:35:03Speaker 9: Right with that?
- 1:35:04Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:35:05Speaker 4: Eight seven seven forty four, Woodie, I'm definitely gonna do
- 1:35:09Speaker 4: that today. Cancel direct TV, all right, Texters, feel free
- 1:35:13Speaker 4: to get it back to us in twenty four hours.
- 1:35:15Speaker 16: Yeah.
- 1:35:15Speaker 4: Yeah. I just want to make sure that when because
- 1:35:18Speaker 4: some of the other apps that I use are connected
- 1:35:21Speaker 4: to the direct TV you said, because I have I
- 1:35:23Speaker 4: have that included that channel or whatever in my direct TV,
- 1:35:27Speaker 4: so the signing for it is through my direct TV credentials,
- 1:35:31Speaker 4: all right. So I want to because I know the
- 1:35:33Speaker 4: credit card that you had mentioned covers a couple of
- 1:35:36Speaker 4: those things, or you know your cell phone provider provides
- 1:35:39Speaker 4: for a couple of those things. I just want to
- 1:35:41Speaker 4: make sure that, uh, you have Amazon, Yeah, yeah, exactly exactly,
- 1:35:45Speaker 4: So make sure it's all lined up that way. But man,
- 1:35:48Speaker 4: so much money, so much money just being wasted.
- 1:35:50Speaker 9: I just saw that it had no idea on how
- 1:35:52Speaker 9: I did this, but I was paying for two cap
- 1:35:55Speaker 9: cut video apps right address.
- 1:35:58Speaker 15: Yea.
- 1:36:01Speaker 4: Four wood set us a text over to two to
- 1:36:02Speaker 4: two nine eight seven more Woodies shows next.
- 1:36:04Speaker 3: Time next No, but.
- 1:36:11Speaker 5: A couple of.
- 1:36:11Speaker 4: Follow up questions on the text after you're talking about
- 1:36:14Speaker 4: how you sign up for something you're a member or
- 1:36:17Speaker 4: whatever subscription you signed up for, and then you're paying
- 1:36:21Speaker 4: for it every month but you're not even really using it.
- 1:36:23Speaker 4: But it's out of sight, out of mind it because
- 1:36:25Speaker 4: the autopay thing. Yeah, that's the deal with direct TV
- 1:36:28Speaker 4: for me, so little TV.
- 1:36:29Speaker 3: I wish I had more time for you you guys,
- 1:36:31Speaker 3: I know, did you talk about what you watched and
- 1:36:34Speaker 3: a year I haven't. Yeah.
- 1:36:35Speaker 4: Yeah, I've been so busy with the flight training stuff.
- 1:36:38Speaker 4: It's all right. All my all my spare time is
- 1:36:40Speaker 4: that and family stuff and work stuff. I want to
- 1:36:42Speaker 4: get back to that though. Question for Gina, Yeah, excuse me, Yes,
- 1:36:48Speaker 4: the what was the name of the clothing thing that
- 1:36:50Speaker 4: you were talking about? It's fabletics.
- 1:36:52Speaker 8: Fabletics yeah, and the stuff rules I have a ton
- 1:36:55Speaker 8: of Ye you, I was good.
- 1:36:56Speaker 4: It's great.
- 1:36:56Speaker 8: You just don't want to forget to push cancel or paul.
- 1:37:00Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 1:37:01Speaker 4: On some of those like yeah, because you can sometimes
- 1:37:03Speaker 4: you can skip. Yeah, Like if it's a subscription to something,
- 1:37:06Speaker 4: you could say skip this next.
- 1:37:08Speaker 8: I'm not a candidate for skipping because I would forget.
- 1:37:11Speaker 9: It's also a credit too, It's not like your money
- 1:37:15Speaker 9: just in the wind. With the fab legs thing.
- 1:37:17Speaker 4: Well, it was kind of the massage envy, like I'd
- 1:37:19Speaker 4: paid for the membership that was including the sixty minute massage,
- 1:37:24Speaker 4: and when he didn't use it for that month, it
- 1:37:25Speaker 4: carried over and they just started piling up till I
- 1:37:27Speaker 4: had eighty sums, so the unused one. And by the way,
- 1:37:31Speaker 4: somebody texted over saying, notice how Woody didn't even acknowledge
- 1:37:34Speaker 4: the whole group's idea to knock them out, like just
- 1:37:37Speaker 4: give them to everybody. It's because they're gone. It's because
- 1:37:39Speaker 4: it kept piling up and I kept forgetting to do
- 1:37:42Speaker 4: it to where I eventually say, you know what, cancel, yeah,
- 1:37:44Speaker 4: and just let him go in the wind, because like
- 1:37:47Speaker 4: we kept just getting behind on it, and it was
- 1:37:49Speaker 4: just adding to the problem every single month. It's if
- 1:37:51Speaker 4: I had them, I would give them away right now.
- 1:37:54Speaker 4: It's it's not that I didn't want to give you.
- 1:37:56Speaker 4: You're screw Yeah, I'm known for being very stingy. Alright,
- 1:38:01Speaker 4: cheers and jeers, Greg.
- 1:38:03Speaker 3: I'm gonna say cheers to productivity, even though it's kind
- 1:38:06Speaker 3: of a jeers, because being super productive is boring and
- 1:38:10Speaker 3: laborious and it sucks. But I have been so productive
- 1:38:14Speaker 3: the past few days because I'm getting the house painted,
- 1:38:17Speaker 3: and so you have to move stuff you have. I
- 1:38:19Speaker 3: cut down hedges. I then emptied out the home office
- 1:38:23Speaker 3: because I want to get that repainted as well. I
- 1:38:26Speaker 3: literally took out every single thing in that office. Out
- 1:38:30Speaker 3: what we both did. I'm not gonna take all the credit.
- 1:38:32Speaker 3: Made three different trips to Goodwill to the point where
- 1:38:35Speaker 3: they saw me every day. I got rid of so
- 1:38:38Speaker 3: much stuff, so it sucked, but I'm so glad it's over.
- 1:38:43Speaker 8: That's the best part.
- 1:38:44Speaker 3: Yeah, exactly, jeers, and this pains me to say it.
- 1:38:50Speaker 3: Jeers to my favorite place on Earth, Home Goods. What Greg,
- 1:38:55Speaker 3: I walked in the other day and what is taking
- 1:38:59Speaker 3: up I would say about a good twenty to twenty
- 1:39:02Speaker 3: five percent of the front of the store Halloween crab.
- 1:39:06Speaker 9: Yeah, yeah, more and more hollow crab everywhere, I exactly.
- 1:39:11Speaker 9: But at Low's they already had the skeletons are like
- 1:39:14Speaker 9: tempeed called summer ween.
- 1:39:16Speaker 3: Oh so dumb, you have that right, and it set
- 1:39:19Speaker 3: me into this mega I mean, I was gonna say judgmental,
- 1:39:23Speaker 3: more judgmental than usual state that I live in. I'm
- 1:39:26Speaker 3: so judgmental. Like they had Halloween pillows. Can you imagine
- 1:39:31Speaker 3: a grown adult changing out their pillows.
- 1:39:34Speaker 4: My wife Halloween?
- 1:39:35Speaker 12: Yeah?
- 1:39:36Speaker 4: How are my wife's one? And it's got like a
- 1:39:39Speaker 4: little candy corn throw pillow. It looks like a candy
- 1:39:42Speaker 4: corn Yeah. She breaks it out with all the other
- 1:39:45Speaker 4: you know, Halloween chopskys that she puts around the house.
- 1:39:48Speaker 3: It turned me off to Halloween, not just that the
- 1:39:51Speaker 3: timing of it or the sheer volume of it, but
- 1:39:54Speaker 3: the entire concept of it. Stop it, society, were not six,
- 1:40:00Speaker 3: we're adults.
- 1:40:01Speaker 8: You don't like stopping Halloween decoration?
- 1:40:04Speaker 15: Decoration?
- 1:40:05Speaker 9: I thought you would appreciate the course.
- 1:40:07Speaker 4: No, No, he's never been Halloween.
- 1:40:11Speaker 9: Yeah, but I'm like Halloween like a pillow.
- 1:40:14Speaker 3: No, it's it's ridiculous, And I judge you so harshly.
- 1:40:18Speaker 8: Okay, I'm afraid to ask this, but how do you
- 1:40:20Speaker 8: feel about seasonal wreaths on the door.
- 1:40:22Speaker 3: I've always been pro.
- 1:40:24Speaker 8: Read Oh thank God, reach read white, and you could.
- 1:40:26Speaker 3: Do a summer read the July read it.
- 1:40:29Speaker 4: Can it be like a black and orange wreath for Halloween?
- 1:40:31Speaker 3: That's passable. But if you're changing out your couch pillows
- 1:40:35Speaker 3: and your candy bowls and oh, it's so stupid, grow
- 1:40:41Speaker 3: So Greg.
- 1:40:41Speaker 14: Is this just because you don't like Halloween?
- 1:40:43Speaker 13: Because for a lot of people to get in the
- 1:40:45Speaker 13: mood to feel festive, but we want to be in
- 1:40:48Speaker 13: the mood of the holiday and you just don't want
- 1:40:50Speaker 13: You can get.
- 1:40:50Speaker 3: In the mood October twentieth. Why do you have to
- 1:40:56Speaker 3: get the.
- 1:40:56Speaker 4: Month of October the whole month?
- 1:40:58Speaker 3: Okay for Halloween? Even I would be that generous. You
- 1:41:01Speaker 3: can take October. You don't need to do it months
- 1:41:04Speaker 3: in advance, and then it overtakes the whole world, this
- 1:41:09Speaker 3: collective immaturity.
- 1:41:10Speaker 4: It's Sun's favorite holiday is Halloween. And he was ripping
- 1:41:16Speaker 4: out because we drove by where Spirit goes in every year,
- 1:41:18Speaker 4: and they had the pods of all the products that
- 1:41:22Speaker 4: show up because they put him into these like you know,
- 1:41:24Speaker 4: when it closes for the season. They put him in
- 1:41:26Speaker 4: one of those like mobile pods and they all get
- 1:41:28Speaker 4: picked up and taken us some warehouse somewhere. Those were delivered,
- 1:41:31Speaker 4: the signs on the door talking about like when they're
- 1:41:33Speaker 4: going to be opening and things like that. So they're
- 1:41:35Speaker 4: already starting to set up the Spirit Halloween stores.
- 1:41:37Speaker 13: Yeah, and Greg, I don't disagree with you that it's
- 1:41:40Speaker 13: too early. But the problem is that if you don't
- 1:41:43Speaker 13: buy the Halloween stuff now when it's out, when October.
- 1:41:46Speaker 14: Rolls around, it isn't gone.
- 1:41:49Speaker 4: Yeah, because you need this season's news, more new stuff.
- 1:41:53Speaker 4: You need this year's spider el, last year mechanics.
- 1:41:58Speaker 3: Yeah, it's so basic, bitch.
- 1:42:01Speaker 4: Last year's pumpkin broke Morgan cheers and jeers.
- 1:42:05Speaker 18: Well, cheers to me for just being such a stand
- 1:42:08Speaker 18: up young woman that I am.
- 1:42:10Speaker 17: Right.
- 1:42:11Speaker 18: I hit someone's car over the weekend. They're parked car,
- 1:42:15Speaker 18: they weren't in the car, just back straight into it.
- 1:42:18Speaker 17: Here we go, bowling crash.
- 1:42:20Speaker 18: And then I'm like, well, dang it, I need to
- 1:42:22Speaker 18: leave a note. So I'm looking in the car. I
- 1:42:24Speaker 18: have a receipt, but I don't have a pin. And
- 1:42:26Speaker 18: I'm looking in the car and can't find a pin.
- 1:42:28Speaker 18: And I also noticed someone in their car across the street.
- 1:42:32Speaker 18: I don't know if they saw me hit the car,
- 1:42:33Speaker 18: but I'm like, okay, there's people watching. I have to
- 1:42:35Speaker 18: leave something, right. I'm so nice that I got my
- 1:42:38Speaker 18: mask scara. I ruined my mass scara and I wrote
- 1:42:41Speaker 18: my phone number on this receipt.
- 1:42:43Speaker 17: I'll put it on the car so I hope they
- 1:42:46Speaker 17: never call me, and I hope they can't read it.
- 1:42:48Speaker 8: It looks psychotic, but it was the right thing to do.
- 1:42:50Speaker 18: I didn't see any damage, no, but because I just
- 1:42:53Speaker 18: it was a parked car, I just backed up.
- 1:42:56Speaker 13: You know, did you only write your number? Yeah, so
- 1:42:58Speaker 13: they if there's no damn, they don't even know that.
- 1:43:00Speaker 13: That's why you say me.
- 1:43:01Speaker 18: I was writing with mascara. You could barely even Yeah.
- 1:43:04Speaker 18: I ruined the mascara trying to write on the receipt.
- 1:43:07Speaker 18: But I was proud of myself for not just driving
- 1:43:09Speaker 18: away and like trying, you know, to do But then
- 1:43:13Speaker 18: they're probably going to see the receipt and be like,
- 1:43:15Speaker 18: what is this weird you know, odd weird phone number
- 1:43:19Speaker 18: for no reason.
- 1:43:19Speaker 4: Especially they don't notice any damage.
- 1:43:21Speaker 9: If they don't notice any like if they came back
- 1:43:23Speaker 9: and there was a dent, they'd be oh, okay, this
- 1:43:24Speaker 9: is the person, right, there's no damage.
- 1:43:27Speaker 4: They might even put two and two together.
- 1:43:29Speaker 18: But even if there's no damage, I feel bad driving
- 1:43:31Speaker 18: off and not saying.
- 1:43:32Speaker 4: Well, just in case there was a camera, Yeah exactly.
- 1:43:34Speaker 17: I mean, who knows who was watching witnesses.
- 1:43:37Speaker 4: My favorite of the people who get busted now, uh
- 1:43:40Speaker 4: doing things with tesla's not realizing that these things are recording. Yeah,
- 1:43:48Speaker 4: it's like idiot. I thought that was so well known.
- 1:43:50Speaker 4: Now that the teslas have cameras even when they're you
- 1:43:53Speaker 4: wouldn't even get father to try when they're parked.
- 1:43:55Speaker 9: Yeah, no face coverings, nothing like yeah, yeah.
- 1:44:00Speaker 4: Oh well, yeah, no problem.
- 1:44:02Speaker 8: That's fun.
- 1:44:03Speaker 17: And then Jeer Jeers is minuce.
- 1:44:05Speaker 18: You know I love Korean barbecue, right, yeah, but I
- 1:44:08Speaker 18: have no goddamn self control when I go in the
- 1:44:11Speaker 18: restaurants and I ate so much, and I was getting
- 1:44:14Speaker 18: the meat sweats, like so you did it right. I
- 1:44:17Speaker 18: had like my sitting so unlady like, like just chopped
- 1:44:21Speaker 18: out a chair waiting for my friends to be done.
- 1:44:23Speaker 18: And then like had three Korean pancakes and you know
- 1:44:25Speaker 18: those those.
- 1:44:26Speaker 8: Are so good, this scallion pancakes.
- 1:44:28Speaker 17: They're so good.
- 1:44:29Speaker 18: So so jeers to my self control, you just.
- 1:44:33Speaker 6: Go a hammer, Jeff, cheers and jeers cheers to Friday weddings.
- 1:44:38Speaker 5: I love them all you do.
- 1:44:40Speaker 6: At first, I was like, man, afternoon on a Friday,
- 1:44:42Speaker 6: I just want to go home, take a nap every
- 1:44:44Speaker 6: the weekend.
- 1:44:44Speaker 9: But honestly to have it over with by Friday night
- 1:44:47Speaker 9: at nine.
- 1:44:47Speaker 4: But yeah, it doesn't take.
- 1:44:49Speaker 5: Yeah, I got a Saturday Sunday.
- 1:44:51Speaker 3: Yeah for you.
- 1:44:53Speaker 9: I like the fourth wedding you went to this week
- 1:44:55Speaker 9: twice in three weeks.
- 1:44:56Speaker 5: Yeah, twice and three weeks.
- 1:44:58Speaker 3: Kind of jealous.
- 1:44:58Speaker 6: Yeah, it was fun and it it was a great wedding.
- 1:45:00Speaker 6: Shout out to Quas and as Lady Diana. It was
- 1:45:02Speaker 6: an awesome time, and thank you for having it on
- 1:45:05Speaker 6: a Friday.
- 1:45:05Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:45:06Speaker 4: You know what I've always seen, the Friday wedding is
- 1:45:08Speaker 4: an inconvenience. No, you're wedding, you're right where, especially if
- 1:45:12Speaker 4: it's in town. If you have to travel for it,
- 1:45:14Speaker 4: that's a pain. That's still a pain in the ass,
- 1:45:16Speaker 4: and it still takes up your entire weekend because now
- 1:45:18Speaker 4: you're spending your Saturday can traveling home or hanging out more.
- 1:45:21Speaker 4: But yeah, if it's a local Friday wedding, that's pretty
- 1:45:25Speaker 4: good because you're right, you still have your whole weekend.
- 1:45:27Speaker 5: Yep, it was awesome.
- 1:45:28Speaker 6: Man, Yeah, not bad and jears. My wife always late,
- 1:45:32Speaker 6: always late, menace. She was killing me on Friday for
- 1:45:35Speaker 6: the wedding.
- 1:45:35Speaker 10: Right.
- 1:45:36Speaker 6: She started getting ready like ninety minutes before me. I
- 1:45:38Speaker 6: kind of get in where I fit in, I shower,
- 1:45:40Speaker 6: I put on my suit.
- 1:45:41Speaker 5: I'm chilling. Then I go sit on the couch and
- 1:45:43Speaker 5: wait for her. Right, and I love how she comes
- 1:45:46Speaker 5: running in to the living room. We gotta go, we
- 1:45:49Speaker 5: gotta go. We're late, I said, she's been waiting on you.
- 1:45:52Speaker 4: I know, Yeah, I go, I know.
- 1:45:53Speaker 6: So I stopped on the way out of the door
- 1:45:54Speaker 6: to get a drink of water. Why are you getting
- 1:45:57Speaker 6: water right now? We're gonna be late, I go, I
- 1:45:59Speaker 6: know we're gonna be late because of you.
- 1:46:01Speaker 5: Not because of my water.
- 1:46:02Speaker 4: At this point already seconds.
- 1:46:04Speaker 15: You know.
- 1:46:04Speaker 9: I mean, it's weird because you try so many different angles.
- 1:46:07Speaker 9: You're like, bro, I'm the one that's gonna constantly remind
- 1:46:10Speaker 9: them that, hey, we need to hurry up, and then
- 1:46:12Speaker 9: you get yelled at or you don't say anything, and
- 1:46:15Speaker 9: then we we're gonna be like super late. You know,
- 1:46:18Speaker 9: there's no way of like You're never gonna have how
- 1:46:22Speaker 9: to have a discussion.
- 1:46:22Speaker 4: This has been MENACE's challenge for as long as I've
- 1:46:25Speaker 4: known him and as long as he's been with Nacho.
- 1:46:27Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:46:27Speaker 9: The only thing that's helped me, Jeff, and you haven't
- 1:46:30Speaker 9: been on the show since I mentioned this is buying
- 1:46:33Speaker 9: a dice in hair dryer because the dice and hair
- 1:46:35Speaker 9: dryer speeds up drying the hair like like it cuts
- 1:46:40Speaker 9: a half hour. So at least get an extra half
- 1:46:42Speaker 9: hour a time. That's it. I can try it, bro,
- 1:46:47Speaker 9: I'm telling you it's helped. It hasn't fixed the situation,
- 1:46:50Speaker 9: but it's definitely help.
- 1:46:51Speaker 8: But for dudes, are any of you guilty of this?
- 1:46:54Speaker 8: Everybody's finally ready to go, and then you go, okay,
- 1:46:57Speaker 8: hold on, I gotta go to the bath No, no.
- 1:46:58Speaker 5: No, that was the case.
- 1:46:59Speaker 9: I have family member dudes like that, like, okay, they
- 1:47:03Speaker 9: we've been at the house all day, yep, all day,
- 1:47:06Speaker 9: and we know that we have to leave at this
- 1:47:08Speaker 9: certain time. And then we all started walking towards the car.
- 1:47:12Speaker 9: Oh I got to go up to go to the
- 1:47:14Speaker 9: bathroom real quick or.
- 1:47:15Speaker 12: Something like that.
- 1:47:16Speaker 9: We've been in the house, bro, you saw us getting
- 1:47:18Speaker 9: ready for an hour and a half. Now you have
- 1:47:21Speaker 9: to go to the bathroom.
- 1:47:22Speaker 4: So the place that we're going to meet for dinner
- 1:47:24Speaker 4: was in the same hotel that we were already in.
- 1:47:25Speaker 4: Didn't have to travel, had to go downstairs, and we're
- 1:47:28Speaker 4: supposed to meet in fifteen minutes. Now I had gone
- 1:47:30Speaker 4: back to the room. I was, you know, t shirt,
- 1:47:34Speaker 4: boxers or whatever, just taking a nap. My wife's like,
- 1:47:36Speaker 4: you know, we have dinner in fifteen minutes. I'm like, yeah,
- 1:47:38Speaker 4: I got this. I was up, dressed, shoes on, ready
- 1:47:42Speaker 4: to go, and still had five minutes to kill. That
- 1:47:45Speaker 4: included taking a leak, brushing my hair.
- 1:47:48Speaker 8: And you did put the hair and makeup putting on.
- 1:47:52Speaker 4: You know what I'm saying, Like, I got it, Like
- 1:47:54Speaker 4: I will be ready on time, same, no problem.
- 1:47:56Speaker 5: But somehow it's always our fault still.
- 1:47:59Speaker 8: Sir, of course, leave that water in the sink, sir, please.
- 1:48:02Speaker 3: What is quote popular and huge show?
- 1:48:09Speaker 4: Well, you guys remember Punched the monkey. Oh Punch was
- 1:48:13Speaker 4: abandoned by his mother shortly after birth, and then he
- 1:48:16Speaker 4: went viral for fruiting it up with that stuffed animal
- 1:48:20Speaker 4: because none of the other monkeys wanted to be his friend. Well,
- 1:48:24Speaker 4: he just turned one year old.
- 1:48:26Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, and he's doing well right.
- 1:48:28Speaker 4: He got about twenty five hundred birthday cards and well
- 1:48:31Speaker 4: wishes from fans all over the world who have been
- 1:48:35Speaker 4: following his journey. His comeback story has made him one
- 1:48:39Speaker 4: of the Zoo's biggest attractions. Yeah, the zoo loves it
- 1:48:42Speaker 4: because it comes out to see you know, punch.
- 1:48:44Speaker 8: Didn't he get a girlfriend and like a mar.
- 1:48:48Speaker 4: Imagine how bumb out she's gonna be when he comes
- 1:48:49Speaker 4: out saying he's gay ruin this poor girl's time. You know. Yeah,
- 1:48:54Speaker 4: they should auction. Should have known from the stuffed animal.
- 1:48:58Speaker 8: They should auction that stuffed animal.
- 1:49:01Speaker 9: Yeah, she's like, oh hey, dude, what's what the what's
- 1:49:03Speaker 9: with the stuffed animal? Just a yeah, well okay.
- 1:49:11Speaker 4: So sometimes we have these stories to keep things in perspective, right,
- 1:49:14Speaker 4: Like you're bumming out because it's still so early in
- 1:49:17Speaker 4: the week. Yea, God, yeah, such a long week ahead
- 1:49:22Speaker 4: of us or whatever's going on that's you know, causing
- 1:49:24Speaker 4: draw in your life. It could be worse. Fifty nine
- 1:49:27Speaker 4: year old hiker Greg oh here we Go was on
- 1:49:30Speaker 4: a trail in Utah with his brother when the weather
- 1:49:34Speaker 4: started to turn and at first they didn't see any lightning,
- 1:49:36Speaker 4: so they decided to keep going, but just before they
- 1:49:39Speaker 4: reached the top, lightning struck and then not only did
- 1:49:43Speaker 4: it strike, but one of the hikers took a direct
- 1:49:45Speaker 4: hit died instantly while his brother watched. Yeah.
- 1:49:52Speaker 3: See, there you go.
- 1:49:52Speaker 4: Another another great hiking story. Stop me when you hear
- 1:49:56Speaker 4: a really cool one.
- 1:50:00Speaker 3: And if they were watching a movie, now, yeah.
- 1:50:02Speaker 4: Watch a movie about hiking. Watch watch somebody else's hike
- 1:50:06Speaker 4: on uh, you know, on YouTube or something.
- 1:50:09Speaker 3: Sure, Oh, gotta be a hiking movie out there.
- 1:50:12Speaker 9: Did you guys see that video last week of that
- 1:50:14Speaker 9: Chinese rocket that was taken off a guy hit by lightning?
- 1:50:18Speaker 3: I did not.
- 1:50:18Speaker 12: Oh it's pretty cool.
- 1:50:19Speaker 3: Look it up.
- 1:50:19Speaker 4: Yeah, it's just like and it just kept on going.
- 1:50:22Speaker 4: It didn't affect anything. Now, yeah, that's pretty cool when
- 1:50:25Speaker 4: you see like strike, lightning strike, like the Empire State building.
- 1:50:28Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, but dude dying on a hike watching your
- 1:50:32Speaker 4: brother died getting hit by lightning. That sucks.
- 1:50:35Speaker 3: Sucks.
- 1:50:35Speaker 4: How about this one twenty three year old woman in
- 1:50:37Speaker 4: Japan was out for a walk and twelve stories above her,
- 1:50:41Speaker 4: this guy had fallen out of his high rise apartment
- 1:50:44Speaker 4: and was on his way down, ended up falling directly
- 1:50:47Speaker 4: on the woman. Oh my god, one of them died.
- 1:50:49Speaker 4: Guess which one?
- 1:50:50Speaker 2: Oh?
- 1:50:50Speaker 13: No, the woman because she broke the other dude's fault.
- 1:50:56Speaker 4: Yeah, the alehole fell from the sky. He survived. Yeah,
- 1:50:59Speaker 4: her body broke his fall.
- 1:51:00Speaker 8: Horrible.
- 1:51:02Speaker 4: That sucks.
- 1:51:02Speaker 15: Sucks.
- 1:51:03Speaker 4: Having a great day. Yeah, you're in Japan a right,
- 1:51:06Speaker 4: which apparently is Amazingady, So we've heard up.
- 1:51:10Speaker 3: Until this moment.
- 1:51:11Speaker 4: How about this one? Anybody feel better about their situation yet? Like, hey, yeah,
- 1:51:15Speaker 4: how am I complaining about?
- 1:51:16Speaker 3: I'm glad I don't live in a high rise.
- 1:51:18Speaker 4: A pair of garbage workers were out, they were doing
- 1:51:20Speaker 4: their route Milwaukee. Suddenly the back of the trash truck
- 1:51:23Speaker 4: just exploded. Oh yeah, the explosion happened while the truck
- 1:51:27Speaker 4: was compacting the trash, and I guess some dummy had
- 1:51:30Speaker 4: thrown oxygen tanks into his trash cans. Now, both of
- 1:51:36Speaker 4: the workers in the back, they were caught in the crossfire.
- 1:51:39Speaker 4: One of them got hit in the face, flew back,
- 1:51:42Speaker 4: had to be sent to the hospital.
- 1:51:44Speaker 9: Uh.
- 1:51:45Speaker 4: Here is a little clip.
- 1:51:47Speaker 6: That blast officials say was triggered when the truck compacted
- 1:51:51Speaker 6: the two oxygen tanks that were improperly thrown out along
- 1:51:54Speaker 6: with regular trash.
- 1:51:55Speaker 19: And there's a blade that packs it in to make
- 1:51:57Speaker 19: room for the next low That pressure cause an explosion.
- 1:52:01Speaker 19: One of the pieces of shrapnel was lodged in his eye.
- 1:52:05Speaker 19: They were able to remove.
- 1:52:07Speaker 4: That, yeah eye. Yeah. The worker has been released from
- 1:52:11Speaker 4: the hospital. Should make a full recovery. Meanwhile, the police
- 1:52:13Speaker 4: start investigating the insid the person who put the tanks
- 1:52:16Speaker 4: in there could be looking at a five thousand dollars fine,
- 1:52:19Speaker 4: but I mean, yeah, kill too bright.
- 1:52:22Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:52:22Speaker 4: I wonder if like the worker could come after the
- 1:52:26Speaker 4: person who put the tanks in there in the first place.
- 1:52:28Speaker 4: I don't know how that stuff.
- 1:52:29Speaker 9: Works, That's what I was afraid.
- 1:52:31Speaker 12: I'm like, I gotta dispose of these these.
- 1:52:34Speaker 4: Tanks that I got for paying tank propane. I'm like,
- 1:52:37Speaker 4: I'm not gonna just throw them away now, just bring
- 1:52:39Speaker 4: him back and you could do that. Have the tank
- 1:52:42Speaker 4: exchange ones. They'll take any of them. Just bring them,
- 1:52:45Speaker 4: drop them off, just get them out of your life.
- 1:52:47Speaker 12: I'm not going to try to kill somebody.
- 1:52:49Speaker 4: Yeah, do that sucks? So the woods, Yeah somewhere put
- 1:52:57Speaker 4: them in the woods.
- 1:52:58Speaker 1: Woody show.
- 1:53:01Speaker 4: Man, is anything on the up and up or is
- 1:53:04Speaker 4: everything just bs and corrupt? I'm starting to wonder more
- 1:53:09Speaker 4: and more. I never I was never so pessimistic about
- 1:53:15Speaker 4: that kind of stuff until more recently. I mean, like, like,
- 1:53:19Speaker 4: just how much are we being played or scammed, you
- 1:53:24Speaker 4: know by whether it's local or federal government, you know,
- 1:53:28Speaker 4: even the companies like charities, Like what are they getting?
- 1:53:33Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:53:33Speaker 4: What are they doing with our information? Or I don't know,
- 1:53:37Speaker 4: is anything actually what you think it is?
- 1:53:41Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:53:43Speaker 4: There was a couple of stories. One was this police
- 1:53:45Speaker 4: chief in Florida forced to resign because he was caught
- 1:53:48Speaker 4: looking up or hooking up. I said, with this this
- 1:53:52Speaker 4: woman who was married to the guy that he was investigating.
- 1:53:55Speaker 3: Oh that's bad optics.
- 1:53:58Speaker 4: Yeah, so the department got a tip of out, you
- 1:54:00Speaker 4: know how the chief you know, I guess with text
- 1:54:02Speaker 4: messages showing the chief and the wife texting about a
- 1:54:05Speaker 4: lunch and a hotel hookup. And so he got exposed
- 1:54:08Speaker 4: and he resigned, and now he's the one who's being investigated. Right,
- 1:54:13Speaker 4: the power of the punani though, yeah, once again on
- 1:54:17Speaker 4: once again on display now. But then there's this twenty
- 1:54:20Speaker 4: two year old mayor in Georgia who elects a twenty
- 1:54:24Speaker 4: two year old mayor Georgia. I don't take advice from
- 1:54:27Speaker 4: twenty two year old. Yeah, Like you see that every
- 1:54:30Speaker 4: once in a while, like especially with the influencer culture,
- 1:54:34Speaker 4: Like you'll see this person. It's like you're a fetus,
- 1:54:37Speaker 4: you know. Yeah, you're twenty two years old, and you're
- 1:54:40Speaker 4: gonna give me some like really insightful life advice. Dog
- 1:54:45Speaker 4: for those are my favorite. Yeah, I'm saying you know
- 1:54:48Speaker 4: those people. Yeah, it's like, like, what kind of insight
- 1:54:50Speaker 4: do you have at twenty two years old? Like some lifetime, yes,
- 1:54:54Speaker 4: like lifetime of experience. Anyway, you might have a good point,
- 1:54:57Speaker 4: I'll hear it out, but like it's the energy with
- 1:54:59Speaker 4: which they bring their message as if I'm sitting here
- 1:55:02Speaker 4: listening to Yoda.
- 1:55:04Speaker 3: Anyway.
- 1:55:05Speaker 4: This twenty two year old mayor in Georgia is being
- 1:55:07Speaker 4: investigated for his spending habits, and the city he was
- 1:55:10Speaker 4: elected to watch over took away his city issued credit
- 1:55:13Speaker 4: cards because the investigation. His name is Jaden Williams. He
- 1:55:18Speaker 4: was sworn in as the mayor of Stockbridge just six
- 1:55:20Speaker 4: months ago, but they've already cut off his credit cards,
- 1:55:24Speaker 4: city used vehicles, and city funds. The city council got
- 1:55:28Speaker 4: information that raised red flags about his spending. Unsure what
- 1:55:34Speaker 4: Mayor Toddler here was spending his money on, or not
- 1:55:37Speaker 4: even his money, the public's money on, or how much
- 1:55:40Speaker 4: was involved in what you're twenty two Pokemon cards OnlyFans like,
- 1:55:45Speaker 4: what are you spending it on? Mayor Fetus has not
- 1:55:50Speaker 4: been charged with a crime just yet, but he is
- 1:55:53Speaker 4: presiding over the city council meetings and will continue his
- 1:55:56Speaker 4: other mayor I mean, what do you do as mayor
- 1:55:58Speaker 4: of Dockbridge, Georgia.
- 1:56:02Speaker 10: That's a it's an outer it's an excurb, as they say,
- 1:56:04Speaker 10: outer suburb of Atlanta.
- 1:56:05Speaker 4: So it's not not really it's not nothing. Oh I
- 1:56:07Speaker 4: pictured that to be like a middle of Nowheeresville, that
- 1:56:10Speaker 4: sort of.
- 1:56:10Speaker 10: I mean, it's a lot of you know, it's farm
- 1:56:12Speaker 10: land and stuff, but it's not you know, maybe forty
- 1:56:13Speaker 10: five minutes or Atlanta.
- 1:56:15Speaker 4: Whose kid is this?
- 1:56:16Speaker 8: That's all I want to know.
- 1:56:17Speaker 9: The youngest current mayor in the United States is twenty
- 1:56:20Speaker 9: years old. Nice in Henderson, Iowa.
- 1:56:24Speaker 8: He can't drink.
- 1:56:25Speaker 4: Yeah, hey, you know, the.
- 1:56:26Speaker 10: People fought the Revolutionary War were like twelve, Yeah, so
- 1:56:30Speaker 10: take that. I had anyone, I had a company credit card,
- 1:56:35Speaker 10: when I was twenty and it was insanely tempting. Thank god,
- 1:56:39Speaker 10: I'm upstanding purposes, thank god, because I was also megapoor
- 1:56:44Speaker 10: and I was just sitting like, you know, you run
- 1:56:46Speaker 10: through my livel if. I pay it back in time
- 1:56:47Speaker 10: before they noticed anything, and then right, nope, no, no no.
- 1:56:50Speaker 9: Also, I didn't get to finish my sins. Who are
- 1:56:53Speaker 9: you to assume that it's a man, it's actually a female,
- 1:56:56Speaker 9: that's the mayor? Shout out, Eva, what are you talking about?
- 1:57:06Speaker 4: Oh I thought you're talking about I'm like, no, this
- 1:57:08Speaker 4: is a guy. Jaden Williams is a dude, dumb dude. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:57:12Speaker 4: he's grounded totally. But who are the people I'm curious
- 1:57:16Speaker 4: to hear from anybody, Like when you start talking about
- 1:57:19Speaker 4: how you know the fix is in, and you know,
- 1:57:22Speaker 4: the the government, local or federal, they're they're just doing whatever.
- 1:57:26Speaker 4: It's the citizens who are suffering. It's all corrupt, it's
- 1:57:30Speaker 4: all people are getting getting rich off the backs of
- 1:57:34Speaker 4: you know, the people who are doing the right thing
- 1:57:36Speaker 4: and going to work, and you're a W two employee,
- 1:57:38Speaker 4: you're just you're just getting screwed. And people go that
- 1:57:41Speaker 4: is such a jaded way to think about it. I
- 1:57:42Speaker 4: would love to figure out, like, how do you still
- 1:57:45Speaker 4: feel that way? Because I want some of whatever you've got.
- 1:57:48Speaker 4: What's your proof of this? I don't want I don't
- 1:57:52Speaker 4: want to be this pessimistic. I don't want to feel
- 1:57:55Speaker 4: the way that I do currently. It's hard not to though.
- 1:57:58Speaker 4: There's too many stories, there's too many examples because we're
- 1:58:02Speaker 4: always getting screwed. So this is Stockbridge Mayor's pretty small one. Well, no,
- 1:58:06Speaker 4: this is that. I mean that that's small, but I
- 1:58:08Speaker 4: mean it's hard to believe, like when you see, uh,
- 1:58:11Speaker 4: you know, hundreds of millions of dollars just be in
- 1:58:13Speaker 4: the wind, and then they, you know, hold some kind
- 1:58:18Speaker 4: of vote to should we do with a forensic investigation?
- 1:58:21Speaker 4: And then one person goes nope, vetoed.
- 1:58:23Speaker 8: Yeah, were the internal investigation? We found ourselves in this.
- 1:58:28Speaker 4: There's enough of those type of examples where it's it's
- 1:58:32Speaker 4: hard not to be pessimistic. I don't want to be.
- 1:58:34Speaker 4: I really honestly don't.
- 1:58:35Speaker 3: Well, men, as you mentioned charities, even charity, I'm suspicious
- 1:58:39Speaker 3: of charities too.
- 1:58:40Speaker 4: Yeah, at that point we.
- 1:58:41Speaker 12: Got to really look into them.
- 1:58:43Speaker 3: There was a woman who posted this video somewhat recently,
- 1:58:46Speaker 3: she wanted to donate to UH I believe it was
- 1:58:49Speaker 3: earthquake relief and so they needed actual physical goods such
- 1:58:54Speaker 3: as toilet paper. So she did the toilet paper and
- 1:58:57Speaker 3: put an air tag in it, and it ended up
- 1:58:59Speaker 3: in some mark that was being sold. Didn't go to
- 1:59:02Speaker 3: where it was. You think, like, you know what, I
- 1:59:05Speaker 3: wonder how much of stuff that we gave away? Yeah,
- 1:59:07Speaker 3: ever showed up? Is anything real?
- 1:59:09Speaker 4: Like we talked about the recycling programs, you know, and
- 1:59:13Speaker 4: how many times they don't even do that anymore. Trying
- 1:59:15Speaker 4: to used to buy a bunch of allumit. They don't
- 1:59:17Speaker 4: do that anymore. They don't even buy that now. So
- 1:59:19Speaker 4: now just there's a lot of them that just go
- 1:59:20Speaker 4: right to landfills. So there was just a there was
- 1:59:23Speaker 4: just a video where they showed the city trash collectors
- 1:59:26Speaker 4: going around to the parks and the parks have the
- 1:59:28Speaker 4: three different uh you know, trash cans, and they were
- 1:59:32Speaker 4: taking them off. They all got dumped in the same truck.
- 1:59:34Speaker 4: So there are individual trash cans people were who knows.
- 1:59:37Speaker 4: I'm sure there was a lot of garbage that ended
- 1:59:38Speaker 4: up in the in the bottles and cans, uh bin,
- 1:59:41Speaker 4: But still they took them out of there. They just
- 1:59:43Speaker 4: dumped them directly into the one trash truck and then
- 1:59:47Speaker 4: and then just took off. Yeah, so is there my quie,
- 1:59:50Speaker 4: Is anything real? That's a good question life, You know
- 1:59:52Speaker 4: now that we're seeing all these videos and these different things,
- 1:59:55Speaker 4: like is that real? Is this real? Are we all
- 1:59:57Speaker 4: just being you know, suckered? Yeah, sucker here not the
- 2:00:00Speaker 4: Woody Show, never four Wooding. You can send us a
- 2:00:07Speaker 4: text over to two two ninety seven. Oh yeah, follow
- 2:00:09Speaker 4: up on the AI think Remember we're telling about talking
- 2:00:11Speaker 4: about some of these people who are so angry about
- 2:00:16Speaker 4: AI posters or flyers. Oh yeah, for things. While this
- 2:00:20Speaker 4: restaurant in San Francisco, they've been getting a ton of
- 2:00:23Speaker 4: backlash from people upset about the AI created photos that
- 2:00:26Speaker 4: were being displayed in the restaurant's windows. They don't They
- 2:00:31Speaker 4: wanted to put up some pictures of their food since
- 2:00:33Speaker 4: they're in a more touristy area and it was only
- 2:00:36Speaker 4: supposed to be temporary. But as soon as they put
- 2:00:37Speaker 4: up that first picture, the backlash was quick. People started
- 2:00:41Speaker 4: chiming in online, started review bombing the restaurant. Some people
- 2:00:45Speaker 4: went as far as vandalizing the building with the phrase
- 2:00:49Speaker 4: seriously question mark spray painted on the building. The staff
- 2:00:55Speaker 4: heard the message alatting clear. They have since taken down
- 2:00:57Speaker 4: the AI generated pictures, and they say, there's to move
- 2:01:00Speaker 4: past this whole thing, like this is what I'm talking about,
- 2:01:03Speaker 4: Like this is what you get up in arms about.
- 2:01:05Speaker 3: This is what you vandalized, because it's.
- 2:01:07Speaker 8: The path of least resistance, Like we could ruin this
- 2:01:09Speaker 8: business just with a.
- 2:01:10Speaker 10: Couple of clicks, Like why because they because they had
- 2:01:14Speaker 10: a couple of AI generated signs in the windows.
- 2:01:16Speaker 8: Because apparently your life is so great that this is
- 2:01:18Speaker 8: what passes for outrage.
- 2:01:20Speaker 3: I guess.
- 2:01:20Speaker 5: And these are the hypocrites that'll take away MO on
- 2:01:22Speaker 5: the way home.
- 2:01:23Speaker 4: Oh for sure, that's right. Yeah, no, no real driver
- 2:01:27Speaker 4: behind that car.
- 2:01:28Speaker 5: Yeah exactly.
- 2:01:29Speaker 4: You're not taking away those jobs.
- 2:01:31Speaker 8: Chat GBT, How should I write this letter to this company?
- 2:01:34Speaker 4: You could have had a professional photographer show up and
- 2:01:36Speaker 4: take pictures of your food. Then you could have given
- 2:01:37Speaker 4: it over to a graphics department and a professional graphics artist.
- 2:01:40Speaker 4: We're up in fire, And then you could have brought
- 2:01:42Speaker 4: up a professional printing establishment and had them print the
- 2:01:45Speaker 4: pictures then to put up in your your restaurant where
- 2:01:48Speaker 4: you're barely making any money. Yeah, get.
- 2:01:52Speaker 10: Yeah, exactly. And they did a bad job of the
- 2:01:54Speaker 10: spray paint too. It's one of those things menace. You
- 2:01:56Speaker 10: might have seen this, and Jeffy, you probably have. I
- 2:01:57Speaker 10: don't know friends or neighbors who do this.
- 2:02:01Speaker 4: I see those big.
- 2:02:02Speaker 10: Pump cans that like shoot like a it's like an
- 2:02:04Speaker 10: old timey fire extinguisher. Yeah yeah, and so it's yeah,
- 2:02:07Speaker 10: just leave it so it'll just goes everywhere.
- 2:02:09Speaker 4: It has barely.
- 2:02:09Speaker 9: Anything they've been doing lately. Have you seen the ministure
- 2:02:14Speaker 9: version of that? Or they're taking lighters so they take
- 2:02:17Speaker 9: out all the lighter fluid and then they put paint
- 2:02:19Speaker 9: in the lighter and then they spray it that way.
- 2:02:22Speaker 9: Oh it's kiney and it's ghatto.
