- 0:00Speaker 1: Scrubbing in with Beta Tilly and Tanya rad and iHeartRadio
- 0:04Speaker 1: and two times People's Choice Award winning podcast.
- 0:11Speaker 2: Hello everybody, we are scrubbing in that we are another
- 0:18Speaker 2: day and then the day n the Daala.
- 0:21Speaker 3: Easton's in front of me. I have a blinding light
- 0:23Speaker 3: blocking his head.
- 0:25Speaker 4: Yeah, this must look great to you, just this heavenly
- 0:28Speaker 4: ethereal light in place of my head.
- 0:30Speaker 3: But then I see the rest of your body, so
- 0:31Speaker 3: it's really just your head.
- 0:32Speaker 2: But Mark's here too. The whole gang is here. Hello,
- 0:36Speaker 2: which we haven't had and quite some time.
- 0:38Speaker 3: Yeah. People be in and out, locked and busy. Well,
- 0:42Speaker 3: you and I are not, but the guys are.
- 0:44Speaker 5: Excuse me, yes we are.
- 0:46Speaker 2: I'm just saying we are the consistency of we're always together,
- 0:51Speaker 2: but we rarely have both Mark and Easton the same.
- 0:55Speaker 3: Stu Stu with us.
- 0:57Speaker 5: Yeah, so we're happy to be here.
- 0:59Speaker 3: We're back, happy to have you all.
- 1:02Speaker 5: Before you got here, I heat it up some chicken
- 1:04Speaker 5: and rice for lunch and I saw no. But I
- 1:08Speaker 5: like I think in my old age, I am becoming
- 1:11Speaker 5: more and more socially awkward because I went to go
- 1:14Speaker 5: heat up my chicken and rice in the communal kitchen,
- 1:17Speaker 5: and there was a man heating up his I'm assuming
- 1:20Speaker 5: it was a frozen meal, because he put the microwave
- 1:23Speaker 5: at five minutes right before me. If I would have
- 1:26Speaker 5: gone there thirty seconds before, I could have slipped right in,
- 1:28Speaker 5: nobody would have seen me, but right in before me. Okay, okay,
- 1:32Speaker 5: I don't know what to do for these five minutes
- 1:34Speaker 5: while he's sitting there. Yeah, I take my chicken and rice,
- 1:40Speaker 5: I put it on a plate. I kind of like
- 1:42Speaker 5: do that. I put a plate over and get it
- 1:44Speaker 5: ready for the microwave. Then I clean my tupperware in
- 1:47Speaker 5: the sink. That's going to buy me some time or
- 1:49Speaker 5: I didn't say hat this man. I don't know this man.
- 1:51Speaker 5: So I'm just like doing my own thing. I've already
- 1:54Speaker 5: done everything that I could possibly do, and there's still
- 1:57Speaker 5: two and a half minutes left on the time. So
- 1:59Speaker 5: then I come back here to bring my teper.
- 2:01Speaker 6: Some small talk. Hi, how are you how?
- 2:05Speaker 5: That's what I'm telling you. I I have lost social cues.
- 2:08Speaker 5: I have lost social dynamics. So I come in here
- 2:10Speaker 5: to put my tepperwork back in my lunch pail to
- 2:12Speaker 5: go back. Okay, there's fifteen seconds left. I'm like, great,
- 2:16Speaker 5: wait for it to count down. We're just standing there
- 2:18Speaker 5: and silence me and this man he goes to grab
- 2:20Speaker 5: his food and he goes, you can put yours in there.
- 2:24Speaker 5: It's fine, it's fine, And I'm like, uh, it's like
- 2:27Speaker 5: a two part thing. I have to store it and
- 2:28Speaker 5: put it back in. He goes, but please put yours
- 2:32Speaker 5: in and I'll wait, and I'm like, I'm not going
- 2:34Speaker 5: to make the guy like wait second.
- 2:35Speaker 3: What if that disrupts his yes? No, no, whatever, that
- 2:41Speaker 3: stir it.
- 2:42Speaker 5: Put it back in for another two minutes. I was like,
- 2:45Speaker 5: I can't. So then I put my food there. I
- 2:48Speaker 5: went to the bathroom, came back. It's just chilling my food,
- 2:52Speaker 5: my chicken. Yeah, but there's a play over it as
- 2:55Speaker 5: to have no germs.
- 2:56Speaker 2: Oh yes, I always protected the grit.
- 3:00Speaker 5: Yeah. So then I'm standing there waiting for the two
- 3:04Speaker 5: and a half minutes to go buy and this other
- 3:05Speaker 5: guy walking by and goes, is there not so awkward
- 3:07Speaker 5: when you're in the kitchen together, And I'm like, yes,
- 3:13Speaker 5: drawing even more? O, you drew.
- 3:16Speaker 3: The whole office. Is attention with your with your awkward tension?
- 3:21Speaker 5: Yes? So now so anyways, I.
- 3:23Speaker 6: Put Also, there is an audience there. I mean it's
- 3:25Speaker 6: just a cubicle left cubicle, There's got to be dozens
- 3:27Speaker 6: of them.
- 3:28Speaker 5: So I now realized two things. I am either walking
- 3:30Speaker 5: to the far kitchen in the back corner that no
- 3:33Speaker 5: one ever goes to on the other side of the building,
- 3:38Speaker 5: or I'm going to buy a microwaven put one in here.
- 3:42Speaker 3: Those are the only options.
- 3:44Speaker 6: No, get a micro put it in the back back there,
- 3:46Speaker 6: somewhere like in the back corner. Sure, yeah, good, yes.
- 3:50Speaker 2: What about in the little dressing room area? Yes, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 3:53Speaker 5: I cannot go through this again.
- 3:56Speaker 3: It was well, what if.
- 3:58Speaker 2: What if it was just more what if it was
- 4:00Speaker 2: less about the microwaven more about you remembering how to
- 4:03Speaker 2: talk to people?
- 4:04Speaker 5: Yes, Like what is that?
- 4:06Speaker 3: I don't know because that's.
- 4:07Speaker 5: Not you, totally not me.
- 4:09Speaker 2: Like if anything, you could have said something just uncomfortable,
- 4:13Speaker 2: that would be a story.
- 4:14Speaker 5: In the Space mission on Netflix by anything, you know
- 4:18Speaker 5: what I mean? Like, I literally could have said anything,
- 4:21Speaker 5: and I didn't.
- 4:22Speaker 2: I do you think do you think he was feeling
- 4:24Speaker 2: that the awkward vibes? Like do you think he was
- 4:26Speaker 2: like why am I not speaking?
- 4:28Speaker 5: Yes?
- 4:29Speaker 3: Like' just like why aren't words coming out of my mouth?
- 4:31Speaker 5: And then I was like, no, words haven't spoken, So
- 4:33Speaker 5: now I can't look at him, so that I'm like
- 4:35Speaker 5: facing the sink to try and like clean out my right.
- 4:39Speaker 6: There's a time to begin a conversation once it pas.
- 4:42Speaker 5: Yes, and that time had passed, And then I was like,
- 4:44Speaker 5: oh my gosh, I'm seven minutes in total, because he
- 4:47Speaker 5: put it in for five. And then the second part
- 4:48Speaker 5: was two hours.
- 4:49Speaker 2: What if you said, what if you said, I know,
- 4:51Speaker 2: there's just been five minutes of silence in me lingering,
- 4:54Speaker 2: So I figured the next two minutes I could.
- 4:57Speaker 5: Ask you some questions. Yeah, I said nothing, knowing this
- 5:02Speaker 5: is awkward.
- 5:03Speaker 6: Easton is the men's room?
- 5:05Speaker 2: Oh yeah, Oh yeah, y'all have to y'all are just
- 5:08Speaker 2: I don't know a back ya, but y'all are just
- 5:09Speaker 2: kind of exposed out.
- 5:10Speaker 6: There, exposed. But there is the same thing. You walk in,
- 5:12Speaker 6: there's somebody else in there, or you're doing your business
- 5:14Speaker 6: and they walk in, there's a time to say, hey,
- 5:16Speaker 6: how's it going. But if that time passes, it's just
- 5:19Speaker 6: so awkward in there.
- 5:20Speaker 4: I just have to sit there and re arrange bent
- 5:21Speaker 4: a chicken and just wait for it.
- 5:24Speaker 5: That's what I was doing. I was trying to cut
- 5:25Speaker 5: it and it was like too hard to cut.
- 5:29Speaker 2: Yeah, we speak, women speak in the restroom, but more
- 5:32Speaker 2: so after, like while we're scene. Yeah, but there can
- 5:36Speaker 2: be like full emotional connections made in that moment.
- 5:40Speaker 6: Yeah sure, Yeah, we know there's a lot of like
- 5:42Speaker 6: if Patrick's in sports talk, you know, there's all kinds
- 5:44Speaker 6: of that sort of stuff. But it's somebody I think
- 5:46Speaker 6: I've seen this guy. I don't really know his name,
- 5:49Speaker 6: I don't.
- 5:49Speaker 2: Know what he does.
- 5:50Speaker 3: Yeah, it's the elevator feeling.
- 5:52Speaker 6: It is.
- 5:53Speaker 3: Yeah, like how much time.
- 5:54Speaker 2: Do you really have to ask a question to somebody
- 5:57Speaker 2: in the elevator or what for they getting.
- 5:59Speaker 5: To elevators here? So if you're stuck in the elevator
- 6:01Speaker 5: from the garage and then you're walking on the same
- 6:03Speaker 5: pace to come up here, Yeah, it's so long to
- 6:07Speaker 5: talk about the weather.
- 6:09Speaker 6: I have sprinted those stairs because I'll see the person
- 6:11Speaker 6: going to the elevator, I'll sprint.
- 6:13Speaker 5: Up the stairs to the second Yeah. Yeah, it's wow.
- 6:17Speaker 5: So that's a little bit about my day.
- 6:19Speaker 3: Good start.
- 6:20Speaker 6: Yeah, but humans are weird, aren't we? With this the
- 6:23Speaker 6: divisital things like on the elevator, Like, I've had this
- 6:25Speaker 6: conversation so many times. Oh, how's your weekend? Oh go back,
- 6:28Speaker 6: here we are again Monday morning. Yeah, yeah, we need it.
- 6:35Speaker 6: We need the ring.
- 6:36Speaker 4: Yeah, there's one I used to do in the men's
- 6:39Speaker 4: room that I stopped doing. But because they have the
- 6:41Speaker 4: dividers between the urinals and sometimes I tap on them
- 6:43Speaker 4: one next to me, go do you hate these things?
- 6:47Speaker 5: Never works, It's so awkward. I'm like, yeah, when did
- 6:52Speaker 5: I become this person?
- 6:54Speaker 3: Well, I do think correct me if I'm wrong. There
- 6:58Speaker 3: is something to be said.
- 6:59Speaker 2: I think about the time of COVID and the pandemic,
- 7:02Speaker 2: where we were very isolated and lost the art of
- 7:06Speaker 2: small talk.
- 7:06Speaker 3: I also think our phones, like we're so there's no.
- 7:09Speaker 5: Oh my gosh, if I had my phone, this would
- 7:11Speaker 5: have been amazing.
- 7:12Speaker 2: No, I know, but I think the phone is the
- 7:14Speaker 2: detriment of friendly small talk.
- 7:17Speaker 5: Like I could have just been in my phone scrolling
- 7:19Speaker 5: it way less awkward staring into the abyss.
- 7:25Speaker 2: I there's a part of me that wishes we were
- 7:29Speaker 2: a society that's still exchanged pleasantries of like just out
- 7:34Speaker 2: of necessity without having our phone. But I'm also really
- 7:36Speaker 2: grateful for my phone in moments like that. So yeah,
- 7:40Speaker 2: mixed emotions. Yeah, well, I'm sorry you went through that.
- 7:42Speaker 2: It's such a tough start to the day.
- 7:44Speaker 5: That's all right, We're here, Yeah, a right spot. Yeah,
- 7:48Speaker 5: a bright spart spot of the day.
- 7:50Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 7:51Speaker 3: How was your weekend?
- 7:52Speaker 5: My weekend was good. How was your weekend?
- 7:54Speaker 3: It was great.
- 8:00Speaker 6: Weekend.
- 8:00Speaker 5: Yeah, rain next weekend.
- 8:03Speaker 3: We definitely need a whole thing.
- 8:04Speaker 2: Everyone in LA always says when it rains, that is
- 8:08Speaker 2: the one thing that you can start a small talk
- 8:10Speaker 2: conversation with in La when it rains. Yeah, just for
- 8:13Speaker 2: those who don't live here, it's a guarantee that if
- 8:16Speaker 2: it rains, someone goes, Oh yeah, but we really needed it.
- 8:20Speaker 2: I'm so happy. Anyways, this weekend was Haley's birthday. You
- 8:23Speaker 2: know what I love about Haley is I like my birthday,
- 8:28Speaker 2: isn't I love the celebration of getting to be around
- 8:31Speaker 2: people I love for my birthday. But I don't necessarily
- 8:34Speaker 2: love the attention of my birthday, you know, Like I'm
- 8:39Speaker 2: not like, I'm not someone who loves my birthday in
- 8:42Speaker 2: this really Yeah, but I I like being.
- 8:44Speaker 3: Around the people I love.
- 8:45Speaker 2: I love going on a trip if we do that,
- 8:47Speaker 2: Like I like that element of it, but I don't
- 8:49Speaker 2: love the like direct attention of it being my birthday.
- 8:53Speaker 6: Okay, you seem skeptical.
- 8:55Speaker 3: Yeah, are you shocked by own?
- 8:57Speaker 5: Yeah? Why because I feel like you like your birth birthday?
- 9:00Speaker 2: If I go on a trip and I'm doing something
- 9:02Speaker 2: that's not but that's why I do it, because it's not.
- 9:05Speaker 3: This like focus on me.
- 9:06Speaker 2: It's like something for everybody, but it's not.
- 9:10Speaker 3: The whole thing isn't about my birthday, but it is.
- 9:12Speaker 2: It's not though I don't make it that way, and
- 9:15Speaker 2: neither do the people around me, thank god. But we
- 9:18Speaker 2: go to a place and it's something that everyone enjoys
- 9:21Speaker 2: and we do things that everyone enjoys, and it's not
- 9:23Speaker 2: this focus of like Beca's birthday. That's why I do it. Anyways,
- 9:30Speaker 2: are you just being awkward?
- 9:31Speaker 5: Like?
- 9:31Speaker 3: Is that the joke? Is that the bit today? What happened?
- 9:36Speaker 1: She's like looking at me, like just to dare no, because.
- 9:43Speaker 5: I feel like you are a birthday person. I would
- 9:45Speaker 5: not consider you not a birthday I don't.
- 9:47Speaker 2: I'm not like, don't celebrate me. I don't like my birthday,
- 9:49Speaker 2: but I'm not on right, but I'm not. I'm also
- 9:52Speaker 2: not like I'm not like Haley where it's like my
- 9:54Speaker 2: birthday is my favorite day of the year.
- 9:56Speaker 5: Okay, but I love that.
- 9:59Speaker 2: That's Haley, Like Hailey loves her birthday and she loves that.
- 10:03Speaker 3: Oh my god, she loves it. It's really cute.
- 10:05Speaker 2: So I really tried to make an effort to make
- 10:07Speaker 2: sure that it's a wonderful day and weekend and all
- 10:11Speaker 2: the above. And so Friday was her actual birthday, and
- 10:15Speaker 2: Thursday night, I don't I ate something bad and I
- 10:17Speaker 2: was up all night with food poisoning or something. I
- 10:22Speaker 2: felt very similar to a little bit how I felt
- 10:25Speaker 2: waking up on your wedding day, minus the hangover.
- 10:28Speaker 3: Just like the just how am I going to get
- 10:30Speaker 3: through this? But I have to persevere that.
- 10:33Speaker 5: Like it makes me so sad that I think about,
- 10:34Speaker 5: like when I was getting ready that you were like fighting.
- 10:36Speaker 3: For your life. Yeah. No, it wasn't good.
- 10:41Speaker 5: Yeah, but we did it.
- 10:43Speaker 3: We did what we had to do. I didn't know, yeah,
- 10:45Speaker 3: and that's something that's all that mattered.
- 10:47Speaker 2: And I I needed Haley to know that. I didn't
- 10:50Speaker 2: need her to know how bad it was. She knew, well, yeah,
- 10:53Speaker 2: she knew it wasn't At one hundred percent, but she
- 10:56Speaker 2: still wanted to go on a walk and do all
- 11:00Speaker 2: the thing. So I said, all right, buckle up, sister,
- 11:02Speaker 2: we're going.
- 11:03Speaker 5: Yeah, here we go.
- 11:04Speaker 3: So we had a wonderful day on Friday.
- 11:06Speaker 5: We what'd you eat on Friday? With like a queasy stomach.
- 11:10Speaker 2: Weirdly enough, we went to this restaurant in Santa Monica
- 11:12Speaker 2: and I got a buttered chicken, which was risky, but
- 11:17Speaker 2: it was the best buttered chicken I've ever had. Wow, Okay,
- 11:20Speaker 2: it was amazing. And her sister met up with us.
- 11:24Speaker 2: She had she just kept saying, I'm having the best
- 11:26Speaker 2: day ever. I'm having the best day ever. So I
- 11:28Speaker 2: felt like.
- 11:29Speaker 5: Success, Job done, job done.
- 11:31Speaker 2: But then we had the next day which we had
- 11:33Speaker 2: people over and like had a party in the backyard
- 11:35Speaker 2: for the first time with it being done, and used
- 11:37Speaker 2: the pool and everything, and had a taco guy come
- 11:41Speaker 2: and yeah, and so that was also lovely, beautiful weather.
- 11:45Speaker 2: This time of year, you don't know what you're gonna get,
- 11:49Speaker 2: and it was really lovely.
- 11:51Speaker 3: I had a great time. No notes, no notes, no notes.
- 11:57Speaker 2: And then we had her family celebration yesterday, so it
- 11:59Speaker 2: was just party after party. Meanwhile, Phoebe got sick and
- 12:04Speaker 2: someone gave her chicken, which she can't have.
- 12:06Speaker 3: I know who did it, but I won't call her out.
- 12:09Speaker 2: I'm not calling anyone out. But we didn't announce. Don't
- 12:12Speaker 2: get Phoebe chicken. And I think a lot of people
- 12:15Speaker 2: would think, oh, it's harmless, but it's not harmless.
- 12:18Speaker 5: She can not harmless, she said.
- 12:20Speaker 3: The runs for two nights straight.
- 12:22Speaker 2: So I literally haven't slept through the night in like
- 12:25Speaker 2: three four nights. I feel like I have a newborn,
- 12:29Speaker 2: and it makes me realize I don't want one.
- 12:33Speaker 3: Like I told Haley, we would.
- 12:35Speaker 2: Be the worst versions of ourselves if we had a
- 12:38Speaker 2: child on no sleep.
- 12:41Speaker 3: Yeah, the sleep thing really do a number on us.
- 12:44Speaker 5: The sleep thing is rough for me too, Like I
- 12:46Speaker 5: am a girl that needs her sleep, and you can
- 12:49Speaker 5: tell when I haven't had mine.
- 12:50Speaker 2: But Alie, also, I would say, is someone who needs
- 12:53Speaker 2: her sleep and she's acclimated. Really she's like, I love
- 12:58Speaker 2: my sleep and it's the being a mom.
- 13:00Speaker 3: That was the best thing that's ever happened to me.
- 13:02Speaker 3: So but I said, and I'm happy for you.
- 13:05Speaker 2: Now I'll be doing what I need to do, which
- 13:07Speaker 2: is laying when I need to lay.
- 13:11Speaker 5: Yeah, yikes.
- 13:13Speaker 2: So, yeah, it was a really great weekend. And she
- 13:17Speaker 2: loves her birthday and I love that. I love that
- 13:19Speaker 2: about her.
- 13:20Speaker 5: Yeah, I love when you like describe the day. It
- 13:22Speaker 5: was just like so wholesome. It's like she went on
- 13:23Speaker 5: a walk, she went to breakfast.
- 13:26Speaker 3: Yeah, I made her breakfast.
- 13:27Speaker 2: Every year, I get like these balloons that are on
- 13:29Speaker 2: the ceiling and I have them delivered before she wakes up.
- 13:32Speaker 2: And then she wakes up and all the balloons are
- 13:33Speaker 2: filling the room and she's just really grateful. She's fun
- 13:37Speaker 2: to do things for her because she's so grateful. Yeah,
- 13:40Speaker 2: and so simple goal.
- 13:41Speaker 3: She's a simple goal.
- 13:43Speaker 5: Yeah, we love her.
- 13:43Speaker 2: But we're going to Mexico this week to celebrate more Wednesday.
- 13:51Speaker 5: Celebrating more.
- 13:52Speaker 3: The celebrations do not stop here. Wow.
- 13:56Speaker 5: That's fun.
- 13:57Speaker 3: Yes, so very excited about that. And that route sums
- 14:02Speaker 3: it up.
- 14:03Speaker 5: But I.
- 14:05Speaker 2: Have to get to something that gave me the best
- 14:09Speaker 2: laugh that I've had in a long time, which is
- 14:12Speaker 2: the scream heard around the world.
- 14:14Speaker 3: But we're gonna take a break and we'll.
- 14:15Speaker 6: Be right back.
- 14:34Speaker 3: We're back, We're back.
- 14:39Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 14:40Speaker 3: That was a pretty un not very close.
- 14:43Speaker 2: Yeah, so what did you do this weekend, sir?
- 14:51Speaker 5: What did I do this weekend?
- 14:52Speaker 3: The weekend we went on to date nights.
- 14:55Speaker 5: Yes, we went on two date nights and then on Saturday.
- 15:01Speaker 5: So Saturday, so we were celebrating Sophia's birthday this coming weekend,
- 15:05Speaker 5: but her sister was supposed to be at a town.
- 15:06Speaker 5: So we were celebrating with her sister at Disneyland this weekend.
- 15:11Speaker 5: And so we go by.
- 15:14Speaker 3: The way and has been on the podcast.
- 15:17Speaker 5: Yes, yes, And and so we go to Disneyland and
- 15:22Speaker 5: we're on the ride.
- 15:25Speaker 6: Resistance.
- 15:26Speaker 5: Yes, thank you. I get all of the Star Wars rides,
- 15:29Speaker 5: a little jump rise of the Resistance, and if you
- 15:31Speaker 5: have not been on it, it's like this like you're
- 15:33Speaker 5: in this like simulator thing and then the doors open
- 15:37Speaker 5: up to like all the robots what are they storms? Stormtroopers? Yes,
- 15:41Speaker 5: opens up to a room full of all the Stormtroopers.
- 15:44Speaker 5: So Robbie was like just being like cute little Instagram
- 15:47Speaker 5: husband and like filming like me and my girlfriends, you know,
- 15:49Speaker 5: like we're like the doors are going to open and
- 15:51Speaker 5: we're gonna like run out to the Stormtroopers and he's
- 15:53Speaker 5: gonna like get it on the video. So we're all
- 15:55Speaker 5: like facing the front, thinking like that's the door that's
- 15:58Speaker 5: going to open, and it turns that it's the door,
- 16:00Speaker 5: the opposite door behind Robbie. Okay, this man is standing,
- 16:05Speaker 5: when I tell you, like an inch away from Robbie.
- 16:07Speaker 5: So he turns around and like screams this screech, like
- 16:11Speaker 5: this girly screech so high. Got it all on video,
- 16:16Speaker 5: which is the best part. But the thing that you
- 16:17Speaker 5: don't really appreciate from the video, it's like this man
- 16:20Speaker 5: was three times Robbie's size, so he was like genuinely
- 16:23Speaker 5: scared because he was like literally three times his size.
- 16:28Speaker 2: And who are those what are those people? Are they
- 16:30Speaker 2: just cast members? Are they part of stars?
- 16:32Speaker 4: That's a part of the member of the First Order,
- 16:34Speaker 4: that's the First Order office, And they're like.
- 16:35Speaker 5: In characters, so they're like mean, yeah, yeah, if you've
- 16:39Speaker 5: never been Okay, hang on, I'll fast forward to their part.
- 16:46Speaker 2: Run He's scared.
- 16:59Speaker 4: That is card library scream.
- 17:02Speaker 3: Oh it was so.
- 17:07Speaker 1: From and then we got to pull that we have
- 17:12Speaker 1: it handing kills.
- 17:20Speaker 5: Me one more time, one more time.
- 17:29Speaker 3: Knowing Robbie.
- 17:30Speaker 2: I know it was in point five, so that guy
- 17:32Speaker 2: probably was so close.
- 17:34Speaker 3: It wasn't five, Thank you.
- 17:36Speaker 5: I was wondering why you can't tell how close he's
- 17:39Speaker 5: literally was in his face like he was. He walked
- 17:42Speaker 5: up literally right behind him, and he had probably had
- 17:45Speaker 5: no idea.
- 17:47Speaker 2: I didn't realize that Robbie had the poo very character
- 17:51Speaker 2: on his shoulder, the little character that you can it's
- 17:53Speaker 2: a magnet and it sits on your shoulder. But they
- 17:56Speaker 2: didn't winning the poo because of his sleep sleep attires. Yeah, yeah,
- 18:01Speaker 2: And I didn't realize that until later. So then picturing
- 18:04Speaker 2: picturing him doing that scream with.
- 18:08Speaker 5: Mind you the whole trip that we were like, uh,
- 18:11Speaker 5: when we were like going on the ride and stuff,
- 18:13Speaker 5: He's like, oh, I can't wait to show Winnie like
- 18:14Speaker 5: this ride, and like he was like fully a character with.
- 18:19Speaker 4: He's text to me right now about these cookies you
- 18:21Speaker 4: guys had. And I feel so bad that we're just
- 18:23Speaker 4: like ridiculing his laugh.
- 18:25Speaker 5: Sorry, no, he we all when I tell you, we
- 18:27Speaker 5: were like crying laughing for a good like twenty minutes
- 18:30Speaker 5: after that, Like we all were like peeling ourselves crying.
- 18:34Speaker 3: We watched it so many times. We just kept going
- 18:37Speaker 3: back and watching it for the scream. Wait, what was
- 18:40Speaker 3: that thing that he ate that looked like dog food.
- 18:44Speaker 5: Oh uh, horror set. But it's like it's you'd eat
- 18:48Speaker 5: it on passover. Oh, it's part of the satyr.
- 18:50Speaker 2: Oh. I never saw the answer, So I just saw
- 18:52Speaker 2: someone say it looks like dog food.
- 18:54Speaker 5: Yeah. Yeah, yeah. People were trying to guess what no disrespect.
- 18:57Speaker 4: No, yeah, grated apples, Wanta's honey and cinnamon.
- 19:00Speaker 5: Yes, it's really good.
- 19:01Speaker 2: Oh yeah, it sounds delicious. It's really not visually stunning.
- 19:05Speaker 5: But correct in your mouth party.
- 19:07Speaker 3: And that's what matters.
- 19:08Speaker 5: Yeah. But so we had like we have the best time.
- 19:12Speaker 5: He like wore his jeworts that he made.
- 19:14Speaker 6: Oh wow.
- 19:17Speaker 5: So he has a pair of jeans that like he
- 19:19Speaker 5: doesn't really like anymore. He wanted to get rid of them.
- 19:21Speaker 5: So I was like, let's give them to you know,
- 19:23Speaker 5: good good will, And he was like, I can make
- 19:24Speaker 5: shorts out of these.
- 19:26Speaker 2: Like I'm sorry, what a fashion icon.
- 19:30Speaker 5: So he cuts his jeans into jeorts and he wears
- 19:34Speaker 5: them to Disneyland. And it was so funny because we
- 19:36Speaker 5: were like taking all these pictures and videos and stuff.
- 19:38Speaker 5: He's like I kind of forgot, like how many followers
- 19:41Speaker 5: do you guys all have?
- 19:45Speaker 3: Yeah, it's all fun and games.
- 19:46Speaker 5: Until until the jorts make it on the grid.
- 19:49Speaker 6: You look good, look bad?
- 19:53Speaker 5: Yeah, hat was really cute.
- 19:55Speaker 6: That was pretty.
- 19:56Speaker 3: He looks very Disney.
- 19:58Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, the way.
- 19:59Speaker 6: That's the thing I I've noticed, Like I've lived in
- 20:01Speaker 6: la now thirty years or so almost going to Disneyland.
- 20:07Speaker 6: It didn't used to be the case that every single
- 20:08Speaker 6: person there was in Disney merch. Now every single.
- 20:11Speaker 5: Person there yeah yeah, yeah.
- 20:12Speaker 6: And also the extreme homemade clothing is very very where
- 20:16Speaker 6: everybody in the group has their name on their shirt.
- 20:18Speaker 6: That is so common these days. That didn't used to
- 20:21Speaker 6: be like that. Just an observation.
- 20:23Speaker 2: Yeah, well, capitalism, I'm telling you, you.
- 20:27Speaker 5: Know, we have for the first time. That was really good.
- 20:30Speaker 5: The cocoa puffy.
- 20:31Speaker 3: It's the cold brew. Oh my god, it's the best
- 20:34Speaker 3: thing to me at Disney.
- 20:35Speaker 5: It's so good.
- 20:36Speaker 3: It's I wish you liked coffee.
- 20:38Speaker 5: Yeah, I like coffee.
- 20:40Speaker 6: I drink coffee. Yeah, yes, why I think you drink coffee? Yeah,
- 20:44Speaker 6: I drink coffee all the time?
- 20:45Speaker 5: You drink that that coca puffs cold brew I do.
- 20:48Speaker 6: It's still so good. He doesn't drink alcohol, doesn't drink
- 20:55Speaker 6: anything about water. Yeah, it's my rule.
- 20:57Speaker 4: Yeah, I drink Coca cola, I drink coffee.
- 20:59Speaker 5: I drink Oh yeah, I didn't know that, but so
- 21:03Speaker 5: let me tell you something doesn't. Then was the best ever.
- 21:07Speaker 5: I always just like feel so like joyful, like there's
- 21:09Speaker 5: just like this energy about the land.
- 21:12Speaker 3: Yeah, the land.
- 21:13Speaker 5: And then on Sunday we were just like spent, like
- 21:16Speaker 5: we were just like we've been running it whatever, and
- 21:19Speaker 5: so we like really wanted to like hunker down and
- 21:21Speaker 5: watch some good TV. Yeah, I think I've finished TV.
- 21:26Speaker 3: She's completed TV.
- 21:28Speaker 5: Yeah, and so watch watching barbecue Brawl in level.
- 21:34Speaker 2: I think we've reached the stage where someone's got to
- 21:37Speaker 2: step in. This is why you can't make small talk
- 21:40Speaker 2: at the microwave, right.
- 21:42Speaker 5: Yes, you're not wrong. Like it's so funny because Robbie
- 21:45Speaker 5: was watching it, like he's watching two episodes yeah, and
- 21:49Speaker 5: I was like, this is so weird, Like why are
- 21:51Speaker 5: you watching She's like I'm like learning some tips of
- 21:53Speaker 5: like how to like barbecue, and like you know, he's
- 21:55Speaker 5: like learning some stuff from it. So I was like,
- 21:58Speaker 5: so then we tried to watch slow Horses couldn't get
- 22:02Speaker 5: through it. Then he tried to Yeah, then he tried
- 22:04Speaker 5: to pitch me on some other show I can't remember,
- 22:07Speaker 5: and the trailer looked horrendous. And then I tried to
- 22:11Speaker 5: pitch him on Rooster, the new Steve Carral Show. It
- 22:13Speaker 5: looks he didn't want it. So I was like, Okay,
- 22:15Speaker 5: let's put this barbecue Brawl back on because I like
- 22:17Speaker 5: cooking shows. They're like they make me feel good, and
- 22:19Speaker 5: now I'm like addicted.
- 22:21Speaker 3: I mean those shows are you know?
- 22:22Speaker 2: The the concept is simple enough that if it's just
- 22:26Speaker 2: consistent and they cast it, well, you're gonna get good TV.
- 22:30Speaker 5: Yeah, and I'm like, looking seven.
- 22:31Speaker 3: You're not the only person into it.
- 22:33Speaker 5: Season seven to me, I want season I'm watching Carson.
- 22:36Speaker 2: Prest Now she has content for days to go back
- 22:40Speaker 2: and watch.
- 22:41Speaker 6: I know.
- 22:41Speaker 3: Tanya Textani goes, what shows you're watching? We've we've, we're out.
- 22:46Speaker 2: I'm like, there's gotta be something you haven't dabbled in.
- 22:50Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 22:51Speaker 5: No, And then I wanted to watch the show something
- 22:54Speaker 5: bad is really bad about it to happen?
- 22:55Speaker 3: It scary?
- 22:56Speaker 5: I heard it's bad. Oh, so we watched the first
- 22:58Speaker 5: like five minutes and there's like blood the floor. Rob
- 23:00Speaker 5: He's like, we're not watching this.
- 23:02Speaker 3: Did you like the ending of Paradise. Yes, Oh I
- 23:05Speaker 3: didn't love it?
- 23:07Speaker 5: What?
- 23:07Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know.
- 23:08Speaker 5: What did you not like about her?
- 23:09Speaker 2: I think I kind of got bored by the show
- 23:12Speaker 2: the season, honestly, Wow, I don't know. I kind of
- 23:15Speaker 2: got it. Felt it got very soap operay to me.
- 23:18Speaker 3: Why Yeah, I don't know.
- 23:20Speaker 2: I was like the AI robot, just a lot of
- 23:22Speaker 2: stuff felt very like, let's try to do another twist,
- 23:26Speaker 2: Let's do another twist.
- 23:27Speaker 5: Oh my gosh. I loved the finale and spoiler alert like,
- 23:29Speaker 5: where the hell is Jane?
- 23:32Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 23:34Speaker 5: So scary, so scary now her body's gone from the shower.
- 23:37Speaker 2: That was really good. That actress is good because I'm
- 23:39Speaker 2: very scared she's haunting.
- 23:41Speaker 5: Terrified of her. I'm surprised you didn't like it.
- 23:44Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 23:45Speaker 5: Actually, when we were in our mission to find something
- 23:47Speaker 5: good to watch, I was like, let's just watch the
- 23:49Speaker 5: Paradise podcast. Like that's how low it got? No, yeah,
- 23:53Speaker 5: did you know because I got into barbecue boath.
- 23:55Speaker 3: Did you watch Ashley on Real Housewives?
- 23:57Speaker 5: Sure?
- 23:58Speaker 2: Did?
- 23:58Speaker 6: I love?
- 23:59Speaker 3: It's so fun knowing someone.
- 24:01Speaker 2: Because I don't watch the real I don't watch the
- 24:05Speaker 2: franchise franchise. Yeah, so I don't really know more of anything.
- 24:08Speaker 2: So I watched it very freshly, and it's just funny
- 24:13Speaker 2: because obviously Ashley has been on reality TV, so I
- 24:18Speaker 2: find her to come in a little more grounded.
- 24:20Speaker 3: Because he's there.
- 24:21Speaker 2: I think there's this energy of being on a reality show,
- 24:23Speaker 2: especially like the Housewives franchise, where you need to be
- 24:26Speaker 2: like loud, dramatic and cause chaos. And I think it's
- 24:32Speaker 2: just funny because in the Bachelor World, she was kind
- 24:35Speaker 2: of like the drama and the crier and you know,
- 24:37Speaker 2: but on this she.
- 24:38Speaker 3: Feels so grounded compared to everybody else.
- 24:41Speaker 5: So I realized I missed that, I think the first
- 24:43Speaker 5: chunk because as I tuned in, they were already on
- 24:46Speaker 5: a picnics. I think I missed the whole beginning.
- 24:48Speaker 3: They didn't show it kind of introed her during that Picnics.
- 24:52Speaker 4: Yeah, that was Ashley's introduction. So if you're just watching
- 24:54Speaker 4: the Ashley I cut, you came in at the perfect time.
- 24:56Speaker 3: Did you see where they went to the coffee shop
- 24:58Speaker 3: with Jared. Yes, oh yeah, And everyone's like going crazy
- 25:01Speaker 3: over Jared. Everyone like my new Bravo crush. Yeah, like
- 25:05Speaker 3: everyone's obsessed with he do.
- 25:07Speaker 5: Make him look very Tom cruisy.
- 25:09Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 25:10Speaker 5: Yeah, he looks very smoldering while he's making that turtle.
- 25:12Speaker 2: Yeah. Haley was like, man, Jared is so good looking.
- 25:15Speaker 2: I was like, well, she loves Jared. They always bond
- 25:18Speaker 2: when they're together, so she always loves him. And she's like,
- 25:21Speaker 2: he looks so handsome in this.
- 25:22Speaker 5: He does look so handsome.
- 25:24Speaker 3: So I can't wait to see I just am excited
- 25:28Speaker 3: to see what her storyline is and.
- 25:30Speaker 5: Stuff, you know what. So I was I got to
- 25:33Speaker 5: see Ashley when she was here for the iHeart Awards.
- 25:36Speaker 5: She was like getting her makeup done, and so I
- 25:38Speaker 5: went and like just to catch up with her to
- 25:39Speaker 5: see her for a little bit, and one of our
- 25:42Speaker 5: podcast producers, Heather Monday, was in the room and I
- 25:45Speaker 5: was talking to her about like the Housewives franchise, and
- 25:47Speaker 5: I was like, yeah, I just feel like I can't
- 25:50Speaker 5: stand behind it. It's like they're capitalizing on like women
- 25:53Speaker 5: just fighting over each other, and like it just doesn't
- 25:55Speaker 5: it doesn't give like girl power, yeah, girl power or
- 26:00Speaker 5: modern woman energy. And she was like, have you ever
- 26:02Speaker 5: thought about it? She goes these, this franchise has given
- 26:06Speaker 5: a platform to women in their forties and fifties who
- 26:08Speaker 5: otherwise are thrown to the curb and like, you know,
- 26:13Speaker 5: when you hit forty in the entertainment industry, you're like
- 26:15Speaker 5: yesterday's news, Like you're it's like expiration date. And this
- 26:19Speaker 5: franchise has given these women a platform to make money,
- 26:22Speaker 5: to stand on their own, to be able to divorce
- 26:24Speaker 5: men that they don't want to be with because they
- 26:26Speaker 5: have financial freedom. And I was like, wow, I've literally
- 26:29Speaker 5: never thought about it like that, and now I've changed
- 26:32Speaker 5: my tune. Wow, So now I.
- 26:34Speaker 3: Like, I like that one one shift changes your mind.
- 26:39Speaker 5: I'm nothing if not a student of life. And if
- 26:42Speaker 5: you're gonna come at me with something like that to say,
- 26:45Speaker 5: I'm going to take it in. And I really took
- 26:47Speaker 5: it in. And now I'm like, I like the Housewives franchise.
- 26:50Speaker 3: Now, yeah, you're in it.
- 26:51Speaker 5: I'm in it.
- 26:52Speaker 3: She's a supporter. Now, well there you have a lot
- 26:54Speaker 3: of content to watch.
- 26:56Speaker 5: I'll start with Ashley's season, although I did find the
- 27:00Speaker 5: drama a little hard to watch. Well, my support they have.
- 27:05Speaker 3: I think the thing is from.
- 27:07Speaker 2: A first a first episode standpoint, they have to almost
- 27:11Speaker 2: contrive drama from somewhere to get the ball rolling. So
- 27:14Speaker 2: I think that's what we were feeling watching it. It's like, wait,
- 27:17Speaker 2: why aren't you all just having a conversation to squash this?
- 27:21Speaker 3: It feel small?
- 27:22Speaker 5: Yeah, and I was like, where did this come from?
- 27:26Speaker 5: They're like a picnic and then all of a sudden
- 27:27Speaker 5: she's talking about some girl. It's not even there exactly.
- 27:30Speaker 3: I was like, huh, contrived.
- 27:31Speaker 5: But I've never seen an episode, so I don't know
- 27:33Speaker 5: if this is like the formula.
- 27:35Speaker 3: Yeah, I can't. I cannot confirm or deny.
- 27:37Speaker 5: Yeah. So I did watch that, which was exciting.
- 27:40Speaker 2: Yeah, well that's exciting. So did you get caught up
- 27:42Speaker 2: on the Summerhouse drama? Because it was it was pretty
- 27:45Speaker 2: easy to catch up. Tony was like, I think I
- 27:49Speaker 2: need to watch Summer House and I'm like, and I
- 27:51Speaker 2: text her and tell her what happened. She's like, do
- 27:53Speaker 2: you watch? And I go no, I just googled it.
- 27:55Speaker 2: It's pretty straightforward. But I was trying to explain to her. Well,
- 28:01Speaker 2: my example that I sent was that if h if
- 28:05Speaker 2: I was single and Tanya and Doctor W were still dating.
- 28:10Speaker 5: So I don't think that's a good analogy. Why Because
- 28:13Speaker 5: everybody kept messaging me, see, clearly you did not understand it.
- 28:17Speaker 5: What what because everybody kept messaging me saying that is
- 28:20Speaker 5: like when Robbie and I broke up for that first time,
- 28:23Speaker 5: when the trigger event happened. That's like if you started
- 28:26Speaker 5: dating him after our trigger event.
- 28:29Speaker 2: Yes, I don't know if they I've not gotten the
- 28:31Speaker 2: vibe that Wes and West and Sierra were that serious though, like.
- 28:35Speaker 5: Y'all were, so again, I don't think you fully understand
- 28:40Speaker 5: and you don't watch the show, so I don't trust
- 28:42Speaker 5: your opinion.
- 28:43Speaker 3: I know exectually, I know, so enlighten me.
- 28:45Speaker 5: These are people that watched the show that were messaging
- 28:48Speaker 5: me this.
- 28:48Speaker 3: Yeah, people told me, who watched the show, that's what
- 28:50Speaker 3: I was.
- 28:50Speaker 5: They said, doctor, you know I.
- 28:52Speaker 3: Was saying, but I was saying, like it didn't seem
- 28:54Speaker 3: like it was us.
- 28:55Speaker 5: So they were saying, it was like what we went
- 28:57Speaker 5: through a trigger event because Robbi and I was like,
- 29:01Speaker 5: I don't think it's done. I don't think it's done.
- 29:03Speaker 5: I think we're gonna get back together, and we did
- 29:04Speaker 5: get back together. So I feel like that's how Sierra
- 29:06Speaker 5: and West West West West were like unsure if they
- 29:10Speaker 5: were gonna get back together or not, like they broke up,
- 29:12Speaker 5: but like did they break up? Or are they gonna
- 29:13Speaker 5: get back together? They were in that kind of thing
- 29:15Speaker 5: in between, and then that girl allegedly is like her
- 29:18Speaker 5: best friend.
- 29:18Speaker 3: They're best friends.
- 29:19Speaker 2: Yeah, So that that part of it about it being
- 29:22Speaker 2: me and you. I was just trying to figure out
- 29:24Speaker 2: which a guy would that mean more like the guys
- 29:25Speaker 2: that you thought was the one or the guy that you.
- 29:27Speaker 3: Were really liked.
- 29:30Speaker 5: Yeah, and like just like dating not.
- 29:32Speaker 2: I felt like I got the vibe that they they
- 29:34Speaker 2: really liked each other and had like a summer flame.
- 29:36Speaker 5: So I got the vibe that it was like the
- 29:38Speaker 5: Robbie yeah wow when So it's funny because when people
- 29:41Speaker 5: I was like, oh, I wouldn't give two sorry if
- 29:45Speaker 5: Becca dayd whoever you know after and then when they
- 29:48Speaker 5: said Robbie after the trigger event, I was like, yeah that.
- 29:51Speaker 3: Changed kind Yeah, yeah, you would have cared too. Not
- 29:56Speaker 3: now you don't.
- 29:56Speaker 2: You have a hindsight now, but I think in that
- 29:59Speaker 2: moment you don' would have cared about I started dating
- 30:01Speaker 2: doctor w after y'all.
- 30:04Speaker 5: You think, yes, you think you were devastating. I was devastated.
- 30:09Speaker 3: I had to go up to Canada to recover.
- 30:16Speaker 2: So true, But I think the lesson here is that, like,
- 30:21Speaker 2: you don't do that to your friends, your best friend.
- 30:24Speaker 5: No, without their blessing obviously. Yeah, but I don't you
- 30:29Speaker 5: gave me or you were like you should date Robert.
- 30:31Speaker 2: Yeah, and I gave you that blessing, and that would
- 30:33Speaker 2: have been understandable.
- 30:34Speaker 5: I didn't partake in that, but you could. I had.
- 30:37Speaker 2: Yeah, but it doesn't feel like Sierra and Amanda discussed
- 30:41Speaker 2: the potential of them dating.
- 30:43Speaker 5: So it's so funny because I, you know, I don't
- 30:46Speaker 5: like to be out of the internet zeitgeist, and I
- 30:50Speaker 5: felt very left out that day when all that stuff
- 30:51Speaker 5: was going on, So like, I guess I had to
- 30:53Speaker 5: watch Summer House.
- 30:55Speaker 6: Do you know Becca about Tanya's planning to give up
- 30:57Speaker 6: social media for a full weekend?
- 31:00Speaker 3: Forty eight hours a weekend.
- 31:01Speaker 5: Yeah, weekend, that's prime scroll time. You learn in a
- 31:07Speaker 5: weekend on on social media? Salad recipe?
- 31:11Speaker 3: What'd you learn this weekend on social media?
- 31:15Speaker 5: I got this, like pair salad recipe this weekend.
- 31:18Speaker 3: You're gonna have found that on a Tuesday. I thought
- 31:21Speaker 3: you were going to say a month or something.
- 31:24Speaker 6: I was not.
- 31:25Speaker 3: Prepared for a weekend.
- 31:26Speaker 5: I could never rave.
- 31:28Speaker 3: You're brave, Yeah, yes I could. I could do it
- 31:31Speaker 3: in two seconds. I'd be happy to.
- 31:32Speaker 6: Do it nice thinking about this weekend, but this weekend
- 31:36Speaker 6: is Coachella. Brian is pushing her to do this weekend
- 31:40Speaker 6: because it'd be the biggest test.
- 31:41Speaker 5: Learn how to make these little pockets for tacos with
- 31:44Speaker 5: sweet potato amazing?
- 31:46Speaker 3: Yeah, I bet you could have found that on a Wednesday.
- 31:49Speaker 5: And then I got this jelly this like gelatin recipe
- 31:52Speaker 5: to make my like, uh, shoot, what do I make botox?
- 31:57Speaker 5: Nature's botox? Oh yeah, Nature's that's right.
- 32:01Speaker 2: Well, please document it. Why don't you just document that
- 32:04Speaker 2: and stay off social media and then post when you
- 32:06Speaker 2: come back on Monday.
- 32:07Speaker 3: So I want to do Kotella weekend.
- 32:10Speaker 5: Thank you? I needed you.
- 32:12Speaker 3: Yeah, what does it benefit? Why why that weekend to
- 32:16Speaker 3: be off exactly?
- 32:17Speaker 5: But my feeling is that maybe if I detach a
- 32:20Speaker 5: little bit, I will get like a buzz, like a high,
- 32:22Speaker 5: Like I'll like it, and then I'll continue to take
- 32:24Speaker 5: breaks from it, because I do think it's not so
- 32:26Speaker 5: much that I don't really get bothered or bogged down
- 32:29Speaker 5: by people's comments, like I get actually pretty nice comments.
- 32:33Speaker 5: My thing is I just take on I take on
- 32:36Speaker 5: people's energy through the screen through the screen.
- 32:40Speaker 3: Who are you looking at that has bad energy?
- 32:42Speaker 5: My algorithm is really hit or miss sometimes, and like
- 32:45Speaker 5: sometimes I'm taking on energy. I'm getting a lot of
- 32:48Speaker 5: like baby like stuff and that's like having me feel
- 32:52Speaker 5: mixed emotions and things. So it's like I'm just taking
- 32:54Speaker 5: on like its energy that I don't think I need
- 32:56Speaker 5: to be taking on.
- 32:57Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, you should get the brick and just brick
- 33:02Speaker 2: for a weekend. Then you don't even have a choice.
- 33:04Speaker 5: It's tough.
- 33:05Speaker 2: We're bringing our brick to Cabo so that we can
- 33:08Speaker 2: brick if we want to go to.
- 33:10Speaker 5: The multiple phones brick at the same time.
- 33:12Speaker 2: Yeah, you can break whenever, you can get bricked whenever
- 33:15Speaker 2: you need.
- 33:15Speaker 5: Wow, maybe I do get the brick. Yeah, I thought
- 33:18Speaker 5: it's for Robbie to do it too.
- 33:20Speaker 3: Yeah, it's just great. I mean it's great to have
- 33:22Speaker 3: if you're both kind of on the same page.
- 33:24Speaker 5: Because yeah, I mean watching Barbecue Brawl, like we don't
- 33:28Speaker 5: need a double screen things.
- 33:29Speaker 2: You know, you should give all your attention to Barbecue
- 33:32Speaker 2: Brawl when it's on the TV, Like there's just no
- 33:35Speaker 2: reason to have something else distracting you.
- 33:37Speaker 5: If you're watching TV, you should be focused on the TV,
- 33:40Speaker 5: like that's what bothers me.
- 33:41Speaker 2: Well, sometimes Haley watches shows that I don't want, but
- 33:43Speaker 2: she wants me to sit next to her, and so
- 33:44Speaker 2: I'm like, you can watch whatever you want. I'll just
- 33:46Speaker 2: scroll and like tune in if I want. Yeah, I
- 33:49Speaker 2: don't log in like you.
- 33:50Speaker 4: We have assigned like energies to the size of the screen,
- 33:54Speaker 4: like movie theater screen, best screen, TV screen, good screen,
- 34:00Speaker 4: top screen, better screen, phone screen, bad screen.
- 34:02Speaker 3: Yeah, so what do you so like movie screen?
- 34:05Speaker 2: I I will do not disturb and I don't even
- 34:09Speaker 2: check my phone in any capacity like I am locked
- 34:12Speaker 2: in because I find it's so rude when people are
- 34:14Speaker 2: on their phone in the theater.
- 34:16Speaker 6: Many times when you just can't do it, and that's
- 34:18Speaker 6: one of them. But Tana, you check it during a movie.
- 34:20Speaker 5: No, I don't scroll during the movie, but I'll look
- 34:22Speaker 5: and see if I have text messages.
- 34:23Speaker 3: And I bet that brightness is up, and.
- 34:27Speaker 5: Excuse me, it is not ever up at one hundred percent.
- 34:31Speaker 6: Checks your phone when she gets up to go to
- 34:32Speaker 6: the bathroom in the middle of the night. And I've
- 34:33Speaker 6: always found that bizarre.
- 34:34Speaker 5: No, I don't.
- 34:35Speaker 6: This was this was a conversation you and I have had.
- 34:40Speaker 5: Don't get up in the middle of the night.
- 34:41Speaker 6: If you do, you check your phone in the world.
- 34:42Speaker 5: I do, But it's not like I'm like often going on.
- 34:45Speaker 6: I'm a person because I'm multiple times a night, because
- 34:48Speaker 6: well we know why. But anyway, we've had this discussion.
- 34:50Speaker 6: You thought it was fine, but I think you're disrupting
- 34:52Speaker 6: your whole sleep rhythm.
- 34:54Speaker 5: I don't think you're wrong.
- 34:56Speaker 2: I mean, I'll I don't know, I'll tap my phone
- 34:59Speaker 2: to see what time it is, because I'm like, what
- 35:01Speaker 2: time should I.
- 35:02Speaker 5: Do that period? You should know. But I'm with you.
- 35:05Speaker 5: I do the same thing.
- 35:06Speaker 3: Well, you know, whether it's me tapping my phone or
- 35:10Speaker 3: Phoebe shit poop having the runs to the night. If
- 35:15Speaker 3: I'm up, I'm up. You know what I'm saying. So whatever.
- 35:18Speaker 2: But speaking of bathroom there, we do have a follow
- 35:21Speaker 2: up from Aunt Linda's visit and the knock knock around
- 35:24Speaker 2: the world, the bargein, We'll be right back, We're back. Dang,
- 35:47Speaker 2: you're really on You're really on it. So last week
- 35:51Speaker 2: we talked about uh, Haley's aunt was staying with us
- 35:54Speaker 2: and visiting us, and then Tanya and I came home
- 35:56Speaker 2: from iHeartRadio Awards and Tanya just.
- 36:00Speaker 5: I Heart Radio Music Awards.
- 36:02Speaker 3: Oh, my sincerest apologies.
- 36:04Speaker 2: Tanya and I came home from the iHeartRadio Music Awards,
- 36:07Speaker 2: Yes say it right, and she needed to wash her
- 36:10Speaker 2: hands immediately, and she we walked in. Haley said, oh,
- 36:15Speaker 2: Aunt Linda had to come in and take a bath
- 36:17Speaker 2: or shower because the ADU water isn't getting hot. And
- 36:21Speaker 2: Tanya heard that and then walked into the bathroom and
- 36:24Speaker 2: then was like, oh my gosh, what someone's in here.
- 36:28Speaker 5: Oh the context is like really one sided here, because
- 36:33Speaker 5: Hailey was having this conversation with you about your ad
- 36:35Speaker 5: in the hot water. I was not partaking in this.
- 36:41Speaker 5: I was not participating in this conversation. This was like
- 36:44Speaker 5: a household conversation about like hot water, right, I know,
- 36:48Speaker 5: but like I wasn't like, okay, I don't know what's
- 36:50Speaker 5: going on your house, Like I just had to wash
- 36:51Speaker 5: my hands, right, I wasn't partaking in your conversation, okay. Also,
- 36:56Speaker 5: Becca has many bathrooms in the home. I did not
- 36:59Speaker 5: think that our aunt would be in the one closest
- 37:01Speaker 5: to the front door of the house. I didn't think
- 37:04Speaker 5: I have two baths and I have three No one's
- 37:07Speaker 5: a shower though your bathroom and your Why would.
- 37:10Speaker 2: I put someone in our bathroom when I have a
- 37:14Speaker 2: guest bathroom.
- 37:15Speaker 5: Well, to be fair, I didn't know that you had
- 37:17Speaker 5: multiple baths so like in our house we have only
- 37:21Speaker 5: one bath Like, there's one bath that you can only
- 37:23Speaker 5: go in one bathroom, right, So that's the bath you
- 37:25Speaker 5: would go in.
- 37:25Speaker 6: I didn't.
- 37:26Speaker 5: I know, I've seen your other bathrooms, but I can't like.
- 37:30Speaker 2: I think the biggest part of this conversation is that
- 37:33Speaker 2: the way our layout is is here's the bathroom, right,
- 37:38Speaker 2: The next space over is the bathroom.
- 37:40Speaker 3: The kitchen sink, it's right there, the kitchen sink.
- 37:44Speaker 5: Washes their hands in the kitchen.
- 37:46Speaker 3: Everyone, anyone who comes in and she's going there.
- 37:48Speaker 5: You don't want your nasty hands dirty and dirty?
- 37:51Speaker 6: Were your hands? For God?
- 37:55Speaker 3: Are you dirty?
- 37:56Speaker 2: Are you like just s whirling them around in the sink?
- 38:01Speaker 2: Aren't you just using soap and water?
- 38:06Speaker 5: The way I choose, there.
- 38:07Speaker 6: Are only certain sinks you're allowed to wash hands in.
- 38:10Speaker 5: Just to me, if I have to wash my hands,
- 38:12Speaker 5: I'm gonna try and find a bathroom. I'm going to
- 38:15Speaker 5: wash them in someone's kitchen sink. That's just not my
- 38:17Speaker 5: go to.
- 38:17Speaker 6: You'd rather walk in on someone's closed door bathroom? I
- 38:20Speaker 6: didn't think that's less rude than The.
- 38:22Speaker 2: Shocking part is that I would say it was like
- 38:25Speaker 2: fifty to fifty of people who agreed with Tom.
- 38:27Speaker 6: That's not true. You actually know if you look at Mark,
- 38:30Speaker 6: should Linda have locked the door? Perhaps, But that is
- 38:34Speaker 6: not the issue here. The issue was just bursting into
- 38:36Speaker 6: a closed bathroom door.
- 38:37Speaker 5: Do you know how many doors are closed that I
- 38:39Speaker 5: walk through every single day?
- 38:41Speaker 6: That the doors?
- 38:42Speaker 3: This door?
- 38:44Speaker 6: No, you're in an office, you're not in a home.
- 38:47Speaker 6: The front door. You're comparing it to the front door
- 38:50Speaker 6: of your house.
- 38:51Speaker 3: The way you faded out right, just like losing the argument?
- 38:55Speaker 3: Is a bathroom stall?
- 39:00Speaker 5: Really knock on the bathroom stalls?
- 39:01Speaker 3: Say? Is anybody in here?
- 39:02Speaker 2: No?
- 39:03Speaker 5: I go?
- 39:03Speaker 6: I walk in.
- 39:04Speaker 5: If it's open, I go if it If it's locked,
- 39:05Speaker 5: I step to the next one. Anyone else in the here?
- 39:09Speaker 6: No bathroom stalls are open.
- 39:11Speaker 2: The public pressureroom is a little bit different. Here's the thing.
- 39:15Speaker 3: Tanya does not have boundaries with a door.
- 39:18Speaker 6: She will you could have stopped after boundaries.
- 39:20Speaker 2: No, she's gotten better with her boundaries. But when it
- 39:22Speaker 2: comes to door.
- 39:23Speaker 3: She doesn't like for it to be locked.
- 39:25Speaker 2: She doesn't like to be told what to do, and
- 39:27Speaker 2: she if it's if it's available, she's going through it.
- 39:32Speaker 5: I just don't knock before I open a door, Like
- 39:34Speaker 5: that's so silly.
- 39:36Speaker 3: And then people thought she was rage bating with this date.
- 39:39Speaker 6: Yes, because it's a ludicrous stake.
- 39:41Speaker 5: It's not. If you look at the comments, it was
- 39:44Speaker 5: fifty No, it was not.
- 39:45Speaker 6: I can't I don't see a single one here saying
- 39:47Speaker 6: Tanya was right to walk through that door.
- 39:49Speaker 5: Without because Sam skewed the results. No blame Sam.
- 39:53Speaker 6: Here are some of the comments Sam Kayla. The best
- 39:57Speaker 6: part is she walked in after being told that was
- 39:59Speaker 6: in there. See, that's the thing she was. You just
- 40:02Speaker 6: weren't listening. You were so focused on your filthy hands
- 40:05Speaker 6: that you couldn't hear words.
- 40:06Speaker 5: It's on your hands so much sauce and everything is napkins. No, no,
- 40:12Speaker 5: I had to spare like Becca had two to share.
- 40:14Speaker 5: Do you remember how and you know when you eat
- 40:16Speaker 5: protein style in and out like the juice just both
- 40:19Speaker 5: all over your hands.
- 40:20Speaker 6: I was disgusting, Naomi. Tanya taught here, But I'm on
- 40:24Speaker 6: Becka's side. Sorry, but I do question why you couldn't
- 40:27Speaker 6: use the kitchen sink. Well, we discussed that, Natalie.
- 40:30Speaker 5: When Becca has clean dishes in there, Why would I
- 40:32Speaker 5: do not have a divider? I bit, I don't, But
- 40:35Speaker 5: I also where do you put your clean ones on
- 40:37Speaker 5: the side above on the counter. H huh?
- 40:39Speaker 6: Yeah, Natalie said, I'm with Tanya, but she's really not
- 40:43Speaker 6: when you get into it, I'm with Tanya. I never
- 40:45Speaker 6: lock or close the door at my own house, but
- 40:47Speaker 6: I would one thousand percent lock it at someone else's house.
- 40:50Speaker 6: That to me, this is not the issue whether or
- 40:52Speaker 6: not at Linda should have locked the door. She should have.
- 40:54Speaker 6: Moving on from that, a closed closed door, a closed
- 40:58Speaker 6: bathroom door is sacred.
- 41:02Speaker 5: It's just not well.
- 41:03Speaker 2: Let me tell you, I've been locking my bathroom doors
- 41:06Speaker 2: in my own home out of fear that you're going
- 41:08Speaker 2: to barge in at any given them, as you should.
- 41:11Speaker 6: Another commentary, you couldn't pay me to open a closed
- 41:13Speaker 6: bathroom door anywhere without knocking and then waiting a two
- 41:16Speaker 6: to three second grace period before turning the door handle.
- 41:19Speaker 6: I do that in my own home because we'll have
- 41:21Speaker 6: guests sometimes and they'll leave the bathroom and they'll close
- 41:24Speaker 6: it when they leave just out of politeness or whatever.
- 41:27Speaker 6: They've left and gone home. But when I see that
- 41:28Speaker 6: closed bathroom door, I'm like, oh, oh, what's going on
- 41:32Speaker 6: in there? And I'm not and there's no one in.
- 41:34Speaker 5: There anyone's house. I've been and I've never knocked going
- 41:37Speaker 5: through any doors.
- 41:40Speaker 3: Well, maybe that's something we can think about. It's never
- 41:46Speaker 3: if you're nothing if not a student.
- 41:48Speaker 5: I'm not. I'm not, but this I stand firmly on
- 41:50Speaker 5: my ground.
- 41:51Speaker 3: Firmly on your ground.
- 41:52Speaker 6: Yes, I'm shaky ground.
- 41:54Speaker 5: It's not quite firm sha.
- 42:00Speaker 6: My house.
- 42:00Speaker 3: And did you watch the Laguna Beach Reunion?
- 42:07Speaker 5: It hasn't aired yet, Oh did you?
- 42:10Speaker 2: No?
- 42:11Speaker 3: But I was wondering why I haven't heard anything about it.
- 42:14Speaker 3: Why did they do the horse.
- 42:15Speaker 6: Because it's on roku that that's a sign that people
- 42:20Speaker 6: don't care, right, But then why do it? That's a
- 42:22Speaker 6: good question. And there's April tenth, which is the Friday.
- 42:25Speaker 3: Yeah, they did the premiere quite early.
- 42:27Speaker 5: No, well, they usually do it like a week before.
- 42:29Speaker 2: Yeah, like the week of Normally a movie premiere is
- 42:31Speaker 2: typically like the Monday of a Friday movie released.
- 42:33Speaker 5: I don't think so.
- 42:35Speaker 6: Yeah, Mark, I don't know I mean, I think you're
- 42:40Speaker 6: with someone who was in a movie and wrote the
- 42:42Speaker 6: movie and had premiere.
- 42:43Speaker 2: So yeah, I think the movie premiere would be the
- 42:45Speaker 2: same the beginning of the week of the movie.
- 42:48Speaker 5: But I think TV shows are different.
- 42:51Speaker 4: Does them TV not own Laguna Beach Comic? Why isn't
- 42:54Speaker 4: this on Paramount Plus? That's why I feel like nobody cares.
- 42:57Speaker 6: I don't know. I am against this because of Roku.
- 43:04Speaker 4: Roky's got our favorite stuff like the Charlie Pooth Show
- 43:06Speaker 4: and The Damian.
- 43:10Speaker 5: Wasn't the first season Jury Duty on Roku?
- 43:13Speaker 6: No?
- 43:13Speaker 4: That was on another weird one.
- 43:16Speaker 5: I got free by the way, finished the second season?
- 43:20Speaker 5: How was it excellent?
- 43:21Speaker 2: Oh?
- 43:22Speaker 3: Wow, you came around?
- 43:23Speaker 5: Came around? Yeah? The way they find these guys that
- 43:25Speaker 5: are just salt of the earth like tears may have
- 43:30Speaker 5: been said, Wow, yeah, Mark.
- 43:33Speaker 3: What are your thoughts on Teddy and Owen leaving Grace?
- 43:35Speaker 6: Ah? At this point, anyone wants to leave, It's all
- 43:40Speaker 6: fine with me because I may not be around much longer.
- 43:42Speaker 3: So they have lost their number one.
- 43:47Speaker 6: I don't know what happened. There was something in the
- 43:49Speaker 6: last episode. I'm trying of it. Oh you know, Okay,
- 43:52Speaker 6: the episode starts. It's a father in the hospital bet
- 43:56Speaker 6: and his son. His teenage son is next to him.
- 43:58Speaker 6: They've decided we need to stay I'm just behind the scenes,
- 44:01Speaker 6: the writers, producers. We need to establish that this father
- 44:05Speaker 6: and son are planning a trip together. Here's what they
- 44:08Speaker 6: came up with. They walk into the hospital room and
- 44:10Speaker 6: the dad has spread out in front of him a
- 44:13Speaker 6: giant paper map, so that one of the doctors can say,
- 44:18Speaker 6: planning a trip, and they could say, yes, we're gonna
- 44:22Speaker 6: hit every national park, me and my son. If you're
- 44:26Speaker 6: gonna hit every national park, you need a map of
- 44:27Speaker 6: the United States. But the point is paper maps don't
- 44:30Speaker 6: exist anymore. No one uses what year do you think
- 44:33Speaker 6: this is? I almost turned it off in frustration at
- 44:38Speaker 6: that point that somebody had to have a conversation, Oh,
- 44:40Speaker 6: we give him a paper map. Wouldn't even get one
- 44:43Speaker 6: to go the props department and make one?
- 44:45Speaker 5: Yeah, and also like put him in like a pair
- 44:47Speaker 5: of like boots or something.
- 44:51Speaker 6: There's a better way to do it. I don't know.
- 44:53Speaker 6: I was just so frustrated by that. I don't remember,
- 44:58Speaker 6: because what.
- 45:02Speaker 2: Remember how you used to care about patients like that
- 45:04Speaker 2: was the whole like gut wrenching part of Greasnotomy was
- 45:07Speaker 2: that they would at tattoo to these people.
- 45:09Speaker 5: But like the girl that had to sweat, like that
- 45:11Speaker 5: sweat so much. Remember when she like gotten somebody, she
- 45:15Speaker 5: thought someone who's cute. She was just like perpetually sweat.
- 45:18Speaker 6: Every episode has to have the goofy patient and that's
- 45:20Speaker 6: what's really ending it for me. Like there was a
- 45:23Speaker 6: couple recently they got injured in the bedroom play acting
- 45:29Speaker 6: because and he play acts as a doctor and she
- 45:32Speaker 6: play acts as the patient. So they came into the
- 45:35Speaker 6: er and he's still dressed as a doctor, and so
- 45:38Speaker 6: the grave doctors think he's a doctor and they goes,
- 45:40Speaker 6: oh no, no, we just play act in the bedroom.
- 45:42Speaker 6: Like I can't with this anymore. I'm watching the Pit.
- 45:45Speaker 6: The Pit is intense and real and great, and I
- 45:48Speaker 6: can't compare the two genres.
- 45:52Speaker 2: It's just so it's so sad what it what it
- 45:55Speaker 2: used to be, and what it's become. There's a really
- 45:57Speaker 2: dedicated scrubber who's posting like a thread on the Facebook
- 46:01Speaker 2: page of Gray's discussion and they're still very locked in
- 46:04Speaker 2: on it, and I have to comment, I thought it
- 46:05Speaker 2: was you actually anonymously. But now that I hear that,
- 46:10Speaker 2: you're almos out, it's not you.
- 46:12Speaker 6: I don't know if I can do it much longer.
- 46:14Speaker 3: That's something. And it just got renewed for another season.
- 46:17Speaker 6: Oh I did it really because because there would be
- 46:20Speaker 6: a sense of completion if they could end it. Now
- 46:22Speaker 6: I'm like, I made it to the end. Yeah.
- 46:24Speaker 2: Someone commented on Camilla's boast because she posted like it
- 46:27Speaker 2: got renewed and someone goes, for the love of God,

- 47:48Speaker 2: I mean, I'm not like a huge fan of his music,
- 47:50Speaker 2: so I didn't feel like a loss.

- 47:53Speaker 5: was like, I'm sure I just missed something in the
- 47:55Speaker 5: news cycle, Like, but I found him to be delightful
- 47:58Speaker 5: on the show.
- 47:59Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm sure, I don't. I know nothing about him.
