- 0:00Speaker 1: We have another season of football at four and Jeff
- 0:02Speaker 1: Boscher's back after a little vaca, little rest and relaxation.
- 0:06Speaker 2: You know, we were talking about this.
- 0:07Speaker 1: The big story kind of was over the weekend Lane Johnson,
- 0:10Speaker 1: you know, kind of saying this could potentially be his
- 0:12Speaker 1: last year and we like it.
- 0:14Speaker 2: You're like, you were on vacation last week, so.
- 0:17Speaker 1: When you were doing football at four the week before,
- 0:20Speaker 1: your mind may not have been fully on that segment
- 0:23Speaker 1: you're thinking about leaving. Do you worry about that with
- 0:26Speaker 1: Lane Johnson that if you already you're thinking about retirement,
- 0:30Speaker 1: your mind is on retirement.
- 0:33Speaker 3: I'll offer a counterpoint. I was, actually I had I
- 0:37Speaker 3: was suffering from major pre vacation work stress, and I
- 0:42Speaker 3: was trying to get so much done in advance with
- 0:45Speaker 3: Inside the Birds. There's a lot I do behind the
- 0:48Speaker 3: scenes that not a lot of people knew how to do,
- 0:50Speaker 3: so I had do training. I was one hundred percent focused,
- 0:53Speaker 3: even more so than usual on the job at hand.
- 0:56Speaker 3: And I would think for Lane Johnson if he knew
- 0:59Speaker 3: this was his last year, and look, Lane's so great
- 1:01Speaker 3: at what he does. It's it's not like he has
- 1:04Speaker 3: to laser focus in more I understand. I thought I
- 1:08Speaker 3: had the same thought you did. Man, You've got a
- 1:10Speaker 3: lot of stuff going on that you're candidly talking about
- 1:13Speaker 3: outside your your your football life, right, that's taking your
- 1:17Speaker 3: attention away and took away from camp, Like do you
- 1:20Speaker 3: have one foot out the door? Do you have your
- 1:23Speaker 3: your mind elsewhere? And I do think that that's an
- 1:25Speaker 3: understandable question. But he's so good at what he does, Mike,
- 1:29Speaker 3: and he has been for so long that I'm gonna
- 1:32Speaker 3: give him the benefit of the doubt here. I think
- 1:34Speaker 3: it's fair to wonder. But you know, like when you're
- 1:38Speaker 3: playing football, you can get real hurt if you're not
- 1:41Speaker 3: fully focused on everything you're doing. And it's not like
- 1:43Speaker 3: Lane to get to you know, to be in this
- 1:47Speaker 3: position and not give it one hundred percent of effort
- 1:51Speaker 3: and attention. That's why I think he left is to
- 1:53Speaker 3: make sure everything was taking care of that needed to be,
- 1:56Speaker 3: and he came back when he felt ready.
- 1:59Speaker 1: Yeah, And I know there was some murmurs over the
- 2:01Speaker 1: offseason whether or not he actually thought about coming back,
- 2:04Speaker 1: because you know, just Staltlin being out, he's got to
- 2:06Speaker 1: learn a whole new role. I mean, how much different
- 2:09Speaker 1: will his role be this year than it has been
- 2:12Speaker 1: in the past. I guess is that an unknown or
- 2:14Speaker 1: do we have an idea of what the tackles how
- 2:17Speaker 1: they'll be different now with Chris Cooper as the offensive
- 2:20Speaker 1: quordator and this new offense.
- 2:22Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean his role will not change. It's blocked
- 2:24Speaker 3: the guy in front of you and block him well
- 2:27Speaker 3: and keep keep him off a quarterback. How they go
- 2:30Speaker 3: about doing that might be a little bit different. I
- 2:33Speaker 3: think that there's a little bit too much made about
- 2:35Speaker 3: the whole, like guard help and everything. I think that
- 2:38Speaker 3: that's part of under center play action and having two
- 2:41Speaker 3: tight ends out there and how you're blocking it up.
- 2:44Speaker 3: I mean, for the most part, he's going to be
- 2:47Speaker 3: the right tackle. He's gonna face probably a Pro Bowl
- 2:50Speaker 3: or an All Pro edge almost every single week. And
- 2:53Speaker 3: when it's third and five right, then he's gonna have
- 2:57Speaker 3: to block that guy. And I don't think he's not
- 3:00Speaker 3: gonna be getting helped that much. He's still part of
- 3:03Speaker 3: the success is being able to leave him on an
- 3:05Speaker 3: island so that you can throw to your running back,
- 3:07Speaker 3: you can throw to your tight end without that guy
- 3:09Speaker 3: having to stay in too long.
- 3:12Speaker 1: Yeah, Because you know, one of the things in the past,
- 3:14Speaker 1: you know, last year. I wonder how much that injury
- 3:17Speaker 1: last year and him not being able to get back,
- 3:19Speaker 1: you know, really was frustrating for him. You know, like
- 3:22Speaker 1: that whole Hard Knocks, They did a whole feature on
- 3:25Speaker 1: how close he felt to coming back and then then
- 3:28Speaker 1: he couldn't do it. You wondered if that's like, Hey,
- 3:30Speaker 1: I'm getting hurt, I can't get back as fast. My family,
- 3:33Speaker 1: my parents, he mentioned his parents getting older. How much
- 3:36Speaker 1: the injury though, and all the injuries he's had over
- 3:39Speaker 1: the years have kind of played a role in this
- 3:41Speaker 1: being potentially it for him.
- 3:43Speaker 3: Yeah. I mean there's a lot of wear and tear
- 3:45Speaker 3: on the body, and there's no doubt about it. He's
- 3:47Speaker 3: overcome a lot of injuries, the ankle surgeries from earlier
- 3:49Speaker 3: in his career, the mental health obstacles that he's overcome
- 3:53Speaker 3: this latest Liz Frank And you know, as you get older,
- 3:56Speaker 3: it doesn't get easier. And then as you get older,
- 3:58Speaker 3: as he mentioned, there are forces outside of your football
- 4:02Speaker 3: career that pull at you. However, I'll say this, Mike,
- 4:05Speaker 3: I also think that, like it's frustrating when you can't
- 4:08Speaker 3: be who you want to be and you're that good
- 4:10Speaker 3: of an athlete, and he wasn't able to be that guy.
- 4:13Speaker 3: If Lingo Johnson goes out there and starts, you know,
- 4:15Speaker 3: fifteen to seventeen to eighteen games and deep into the playoffs,
- 4:19Speaker 3: play makes All Pro, makes Pro Bowl looks like the
- 4:21Speaker 3: Lane Johnson that you knew, and the team does really well,
- 4:24Speaker 3: it would not surprise me if he was back again
- 4:27Speaker 3: in twenty twenty seven. Even though he's saying right now
- 4:31Speaker 3: this is very likely his last year, he left some
- 4:33Speaker 3: wiggle room. He actually said this is probably. He says,
- 4:37Speaker 3: this is potentially probably going to be probably my last year.
- 4:41Speaker 3: I mean, if that's not a word salad of probably
- 4:43Speaker 3: and potentially, I don't know what is.
- 4:45Speaker 2: So.
- 4:46Speaker 3: I think some of his frustrations stemmed from just not
- 4:49Speaker 3: being the guy that he expects to be last year,
- 4:53Speaker 3: and if he can get back to that level and play,
- 4:56Speaker 3: it would not surprise me if he stuck it out longer.
- 5:00Speaker 1: Jeff Moster Football at four powered by the Intil the
- 5:02Speaker 1: Birds podcast, looking at the Eagles camp as they now
- 5:05Speaker 1: get ready for a preseason game. Let's talk about a
- 5:07Speaker 1: question that was asked to Nick Sirianni today. I want
- 5:10Speaker 1: to get your take on it and what you think
- 5:12Speaker 1: Jeff play in the preseason. They have not played in
- 5:16Speaker 1: the preseason over the Sirianni era, no starters, But should
- 5:20Speaker 1: the offense be out there to get some live reps?
- 5:25Speaker 3: I mean they're not, So that's the that doesn't really
- 5:27Speaker 3: matter what we think, you know, Look, the company line
- 5:32Speaker 3: is when you have joint practices against teams, which still
- 5:35Speaker 3: have against New England, right, I think they're doing it
- 5:38Speaker 3: also against Are they doing against the Bengals too? Like
- 5:41Speaker 3: one against Cincinnati? I think isn't. I have to go
- 5:45Speaker 3: back and look, But they treat those like the first
- 5:50Speaker 3: team offense in a preseason game because everything gets a
- 5:53Speaker 3: little scripted there and they're able to work on everything
- 5:56Speaker 3: in it's first versus first, which you can't always guarantee
- 6:00Speaker 3: you're playing in a preseason game. So it's been a
- 6:02Speaker 3: formula for them that they believe has worked and they're
- 6:05Speaker 3: gonna stick to it.
- 6:07Speaker 1: Yeah, do you think they should play you personally?
- 6:12Speaker 2: Would you like?
- 6:13Speaker 1: Because to me, I mean, you have a preseason game
- 6:16Speaker 1: on August the fifteenth, when you don't play for like
- 6:19Speaker 1: another month. I don't know how that's going to do it. Like,
- 6:22Speaker 1: even if you have, like I don't know, a series
- 6:25Speaker 1: or two. Is that really gonna carry over to your
- 6:27Speaker 1: first regular season game a month later, right?
- 6:29Speaker 3: I mean, I think that there's some advantages and some disadvantages,
- 6:32Speaker 3: but it's all sort of case by case. I think
- 6:35Speaker 3: that if you told me that the Ravens are not
- 6:40Speaker 3: going to play their first team defense, then I don't
- 6:43Speaker 3: need to see the Eagles first team offense against Ravens backups.
- 6:46Speaker 3: That's what that's what camp is, your offense against your
- 6:49Speaker 3: backups and then occasionally scrimmage against the first team. So
- 6:52Speaker 3: it's to me, it's not that big of a deal.
- 6:54Speaker 3: I know people want to make a big deal about, oh,
- 6:56Speaker 3: you're on like the stadium and there's a crowd and
- 7:00Speaker 3: your play calling, and I think that there's a little
- 7:03Speaker 3: bit of of a fair argument to that. But these guys,
- 7:06Speaker 3: it's not like the all it's like a team of rookies.
- 7:08Speaker 3: It's a it's a pretty veteran team. So if you
- 7:12Speaker 3: told me the Ravens were playing their first team defense,
- 7:14Speaker 3: I would say, yeah, there would be upside to playing
- 7:18Speaker 3: your first team offense, But then there's also, of course,
- 7:20Speaker 3: the risk of more injury or something happening, and you know,
- 7:24Speaker 3: they like to protect their guys. You know, they like
- 7:26Speaker 3: to save it for the practices where they can script
- 7:29Speaker 3: it and they can control what goes on, and then
- 7:33Speaker 3: you know, get a better look at the guys fighting
- 7:35Speaker 3: for jobs and get more film for those guys during
- 7:38Speaker 3: the preseason games.
- 7:40Speaker 1: Adams said the other day that he thinks that forty
- 7:44Speaker 1: eight of the fifty three spots are up. You know,
- 7:48Speaker 1: those last from forty eight to fifty three are up
- 7:50Speaker 1: for grabs. So who do you think this is a
- 7:53Speaker 1: big group of three games for. Who are some of
- 7:56Speaker 1: the guys that you're gonna kind of be saying, all right,
- 7:59Speaker 1: these three games teams might help those that group of players,
- 8:04Speaker 1: all right.
- 8:05Speaker 3: So definitely backup offensive lineman we're talking about, I mean,
- 8:09Speaker 3: Drew Kendall to me is pretty solidified. But I do
- 8:12Speaker 3: think it's big for markl Bell because he you know,
- 8:15Speaker 3: he's he could push to be the top backup offensive tackle.
- 8:20Speaker 3: I don't think Fred Johnson's gonna be off the team,
- 8:22Speaker 3: but they want to get Mark kel Bell. They want
- 8:25Speaker 3: to see him develop. And if Lane Johnson gets hurt,
- 8:29Speaker 3: you know, obviously it'll be a decision about whether go
- 8:31Speaker 3: to Fred or whether they think they can they can
- 8:33Speaker 3: rely on on Mark L. Bell and kind of start
- 8:36Speaker 3: that transition if this truly is Lane's last year. So
- 8:39Speaker 3: Mark L. Bell reps I think be pretty interesting. And
- 8:42Speaker 3: then again, I think Drew Kendall, you want to see
- 8:46Speaker 3: him play well because they expect him to be the
- 8:48Speaker 3: top interior backup. But there's gonna be another interior backup.
- 8:52Speaker 3: Is that gonna be? Is it? Could it be Willie Lampkin,
- 8:55Speaker 3: Is it gonna be Michael Jordan, the veteran that they
- 8:57Speaker 3: brought in, is it somebody else? Michael Morris the sixth
- 9:01Speaker 3: round pick. Those are the guys that I'll really be
- 9:04Speaker 3: looking at to see how they fare because interior offensive line,
- 9:07Speaker 3: as we all know, if you're when we're talking about
- 9:09Speaker 3: the biggest questions facing the Eagles in twenty twenty six,
- 9:12Speaker 3: offensive line depth, especially on the interior is one of
- 9:15Speaker 3: the biggest ones.
- 9:17Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 9:17Speaker 1: So, uh, there's a lot of interesting things there. You
- 9:20Speaker 1: brought up Fred Johnson. I think everybody just assumes he
- 9:22Speaker 1: has been the main guy they traded for him to
- 9:25Speaker 1: bring him back. So is there a possibility that he
- 9:28Speaker 1: is not on this roster?
- 9:31Speaker 3: Well, I mean I think I think that it's more
- 9:35Speaker 3: it's unlikely that he's not part of the sixty nine
- 9:38Speaker 3: man roster, right if you count the practice squad. If
- 9:40Speaker 3: they can work something out where he starts off on
- 9:44Speaker 3: the practice squad for a little bit and then makes
- 9:46Speaker 3: it to the fifty three, I don't know, you know,
- 9:48Speaker 3: or spends most of the year on the practice squad
- 9:51Speaker 3: and gets elevated at times, you know, depending on the
- 9:55Speaker 3: injury situation. I don't think that they'll be ready to
- 9:59Speaker 3: go into the season with Mark Helbell or rookie third
- 10:01Speaker 3: round pick as the top back up, even if he's
- 10:04Speaker 3: playing well. You need to have that veteran. So yes,
- 10:07Speaker 3: Fred Johnson will be on the overall sixty nine, will
- 10:11Speaker 3: be on the fifty three. That remains to be seen, all.
- 10:14Speaker 1: Right, So that'll be something to watch here. On the
- 10:17Speaker 1: other thing, on the offense, where's your concern level with
- 10:21Speaker 1: the wide receiver situation with specifically Lemon not being ready?
- 10:25Speaker 1: But then how that affects this group moving forward. I mean,
- 10:29Speaker 1: now we're getting into the first preseason week and it
- 10:32Speaker 1: doesn't appear that he's yeah ready to practice.
- 10:37Speaker 3: Yeah, And I know how frustrating that it is, especially
- 10:39Speaker 3: for fans who want to see him. I would remind
- 10:41Speaker 3: everybody that Cooper de jen missed a lot of training
- 10:44Speaker 3: camp with a hamstring injury, did not make a big
- 10:49Speaker 3: impact the first four weeks of that twenty twenty four
- 10:52Speaker 3: year and then finally got on the field and the
- 10:54Speaker 3: defense completely didn't about face. So it's you know, it's
- 10:58Speaker 3: clear right now that it's gonna be hard for Makayle
- 11:01Speaker 3: Lemon to be a starter and maybe even a significant
- 11:03Speaker 3: contributor for the first few weeks in the season because
- 11:06Speaker 3: he's missing He missed Ota time as well, right, So
- 11:09Speaker 3: now this is a lot of time he's missed. But
- 11:11Speaker 3: I will say this, I mean, like a he could join.
- 11:15Speaker 1: Them through do you do you most though, think it's
- 11:18Speaker 1: different in the situation than Cooper where you traded Aj Brown.
- 11:23Speaker 1: You drafted this guy in the first round. The anticipation
- 11:25Speaker 1: was he kind of softens that blow, whereas Cooper you
- 11:29Speaker 1: didn't know he was going to be Cooper de Gene.
- 11:33Speaker 3: Yeah, but I mean Cooper de Gene was a really
- 11:35Speaker 3: high second round pick, right, and Lemon was at the
- 11:39Speaker 3: difference between Lemon at what twenty one right and what
- 11:44Speaker 3: Cooper was thirty three, Like that's not a huge difference.
- 11:48Speaker 3: So I mean, I think expectations were pretty bad. I
- 11:50Speaker 3: get what you're saying because now Cooper didn't have to
- 11:53Speaker 3: replace a legend, but the Eagles was struggling at corner.
- 11:56Speaker 3: I mean, Quinna I mentioned when Cooper were certainly saviors
- 12:00Speaker 3: to that defense, and everything changed when Cooper Degene got
- 12:04Speaker 3: into it. But I think with the situation with Lemon,
- 12:08Speaker 3: because you have Dantavian Wicks along with DeVante Smith and
- 12:11Speaker 3: Mike I mean, this is the second year in a row.
- 12:15Speaker 3: I can't sit here and tell you that Darius Cooper
- 12:18Speaker 3: is not one of the three best receivers on the Eagles.
- 12:20Speaker 3: I can't. I can't say that he's not. I'm not
- 12:23Speaker 3: saying that he definitely is, but I'm definitely I'm intrigued.
- 12:27Speaker 3: I think this kid was more than just a flash
- 12:30Speaker 3: in the pan. I think he's showing that. You know,
- 12:32Speaker 3: he obviously didn't contribute toize a rookie because there was
- 12:35Speaker 3: no room and there was a different offense, and he
- 12:37Speaker 3: got hurt early in the season, went on ir but
- 12:41Speaker 3: he's getting every opportunity. He's shining now.
- 12:44Speaker 2: And so what is he an outside?
- 12:46Speaker 1: Is he an outside guy or is he a guyot?
- 12:49Speaker 3: He's built like AJ Brown. He could certainly play the
- 12:52Speaker 3: X they played on this conversation.
- 12:54Speaker 1: I was having this conversation with somebody this weekend. So
- 12:57Speaker 1: you've got Smith, Lemon wis those three definitively? Are there
- 13:03Speaker 1: other definitive ones for you?
- 13:05Speaker 3: Those are the three locks? I think Marquise Brown based
- 13:08Speaker 3: on salary and pedigree. I mean, it's gonna take a
- 13:11Speaker 3: lot to get him off the roster. Okay, I think
- 13:14Speaker 3: he's gonna I think he's about as close to a
- 13:17Speaker 3: lock because of that as you can get at four
- 13:19Speaker 3: and Cooper is five. Right now, that's your five. You know,
- 13:22Speaker 3: if they decide to keep six, it comes down to
- 13:26Speaker 3: Johnny Wilson as a special teams as a dirty work
- 13:29Speaker 3: guy versus maybe Elijah Moore who's just having a really
- 13:32Speaker 3: good camp but doesn't really contribute on special teams. So
- 13:35Speaker 3: I don't know what they do there.
- 13:37Speaker 1: But Moore was the guy that Adam brought up on Friday,
- 13:41Speaker 1: having a really good camp, and you know, he's got
- 13:42Speaker 1: a good pedigree in terms of second round big But
- 13:45Speaker 1: if you're the fifth or sixth receiver how many Now
- 13:47Speaker 1: that's different before if you were the fifth or sixth receiver.
- 13:50Speaker 2: On this team, you wouldn't get any targets. But what
- 13:53Speaker 2: about now?
- 13:55Speaker 3: I think I think that that's what I was about
- 13:58Speaker 3: to say to you, is just because you were Darius
- 14:00Speaker 3: Cooper and make it as the quote unquote fifth receiver
- 14:04Speaker 3: who says you can't be in the top three when
- 14:06Speaker 3: it comes to playing time at you know, maybe not
- 14:10Speaker 3: week one, but you know, if you're playing really well,
- 14:13Speaker 3: I mean, the guy gets listen. The guy's half the
- 14:16Speaker 3: battle was just just showing you belong, right, he did
- 14:19Speaker 3: that last year. Then the other half is showing that
- 14:22Speaker 3: you not only belong, but you can play. He is
- 14:25Speaker 3: out there running against the first team defense. I was
- 14:28Speaker 3: there Saturday. They practiced for two hours. He was running
- 14:31Speaker 3: with the first team because there's no Devonte Smith, no
- 14:33Speaker 3: Mkay Lemon right, and he's making plays, made plays to
- 14:36Speaker 3: gain today. So you know, at this point, again, I
- 14:40Speaker 3: don't want to I'm not trying to put the the
- 14:42Speaker 3: wagon before the cart. He obviously has to prove himself
- 14:45Speaker 3: even more, but who is to say my point is
- 14:49Speaker 3: that he's not as good as Dan Davian Wicks, or
- 14:51Speaker 3: not good enough to be one of your top three
- 14:55Speaker 3: receivers when you're in eleven personnel, especially if McKay Lemon's
- 14:59Speaker 3: not ready to be in that top three yet.
- 15:02Speaker 1: Yeah, well, yeah, well, and then let me ask you this,
- 15:09Speaker 1: if you kept an extra receiver, where do you see
- 15:14Speaker 1: uh Eli, his name is blanked on me right now? Hours, yes,
- 15:20Speaker 1: where do you see him at this point? And is
- 15:23Speaker 1: Calcutera a lock to make this because Johnny Munt you
- 15:26Speaker 1: think makes lock?
- 15:27Speaker 3: No? No, I mean, have you has anybody talked about
- 15:31Speaker 3: Grant Calcaterra since the start of camp.
- 15:33Speaker 2: I'm glad you said this.
- 15:34Speaker 1: I'm just saying some of these guys that you're like,
- 15:36Speaker 1: why they keep coming back? They keep coming back, and
- 15:39Speaker 1: you know you got your That was Johnny Munt a
- 15:41Speaker 1: lock for you.
- 15:43Speaker 3: I think he's another lock to be on the sixty nine.
- 15:47Speaker 3: There might be some roster tango at the start of
- 15:49Speaker 3: the year that he's on the practice squad as an
- 15:53Speaker 3: elevated guy because they're trying to go heavier at another position.
- 15:56Speaker 3: But yeah, I think right now, you know they want
- 15:59Speaker 3: to play a good twelve personnel. Dallas Goddard, Johnny Munt,
- 16:04Speaker 3: I think that as the days go by, cam Allotso
- 16:07Speaker 3: looks more and more like a guy who's gonna be
- 16:09Speaker 3: on the fifty three because he can block, he can catch,
- 16:13Speaker 3: and he's a dog on special teams.
- 16:15Speaker 2: So those three, can you keep that many tight ends?
- 16:20Speaker 3: You can keep three tight ends? Yeah, for sure. You
- 16:22Speaker 3: could also keep two and Stasher your practice squad with
- 16:25Speaker 3: a bunch of them.
- 16:27Speaker 1: So obviously Dallas is one. You would think Eli is two.
- 16:33Speaker 1: So is it between mont and lat Tu Yeah?
- 16:37Speaker 3: Probably. But I will say this, I think Eli Stowers
- 16:39Speaker 3: is a pretty good as we sit here today, Eli
- 16:42Speaker 3: Stowers is a pretty good bet to be inactive on
- 16:45Speaker 3: game day for the first few weeks.
- 16:48Speaker 2: All right.
- 16:48Speaker 1: That's and and you know that's a good point by you,
- 16:50Speaker 1: because I figured the same thing is that if he
- 16:52Speaker 1: he makes the roster, because you, I guess they could
- 16:55Speaker 1: try to have some mysterious injury if they don't think
- 16:57Speaker 1: he's got a big role. Because to me, I ask you,
- 17:00Speaker 1: what is a second pass catching tight ends role in
- 17:03Speaker 1: this offense?
- 17:07Speaker 3: I don't know. I And that's why they're gonna have
- 17:12Speaker 3: to have some some some stashes on their practice squad
- 17:15Speaker 3: because Goddard can catch passes, but Month is not a
- 17:19Speaker 3: pass catcher. I think a lot two has the ability
- 17:22Speaker 3: to be more of a pass catcher. Some of that
- 17:25Speaker 3: is on the quarterback. Are you're gonna get to that
- 17:27Speaker 3: third I mean, the passing game is gonna go through
- 17:30Speaker 3: the three guy, right, It's gonna go through uh DeVante Smith,
- 17:34Speaker 3: It's gonna go through Dallas Godder, It's gonna go through
- 17:37Speaker 3: whoever that number two receiver is, whether it's Wis or
- 17:40Speaker 3: or or it could be Lemon one day when he's back,
- 17:43Speaker 3: or it could be Brown, it could be Darius Cooper.
- 17:45Speaker 3: But like, there's not gonna be a whole lot opportunities
- 17:48Speaker 3: for that second tight end to catch a lot of passes.
- 17:50Speaker 3: But you do need somebody to be able to do it.
- 17:52Speaker 3: I agree, all.
- 17:53Speaker 1: Right, Jeff Bocher. Now we're getting into the nitty gritty.
- 17:56Speaker 1: Now we're starting to get some on field things that
- 17:58Speaker 1: are about to happen all this week. You can listen
- 18:01Speaker 1: to the Eagles and Ravens right here on ninety seven
- 18:03Speaker 1: three ESPN. We'll talk more about the defensive storylines when
- 18:07Speaker 1: Jeff's back on Wednesday. Maybe we'll do a pre preseason
- 18:12Speaker 1: mail bag with Mosh Heir on the Sports Bash to
- 18:14Speaker 1: see what questions people have for training camps. If you
- 18:17Speaker 1: want to send some of those in, you can always
- 18:19Speaker 1: email me with your questions. There, Jeff Mosher's back from vacation.
- 18:24Speaker 1: Everything good.
- 18:24Speaker 2: Where'd you go Hawaii?
- 18:26Speaker 3: I did go to Hawaii. Yes, very turn five. Oh
- 18:30Speaker 3: the Happy Birthday Motion, Happy City. Where's yeah?
- 18:41Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 18:41Speaker 1: So we're at Ocean Casino Resort every Monday. We're back
- 18:45Speaker 1: for the season, which, by the way, sponsors Football at four.
- 18:48Speaker 2: Thanks to them.
- 18:48Speaker 1: As always, our ratings just came out Football at four again,
- 18:52Speaker 1: just a just a freight train of a rating, a
- 18:56Speaker 1: huge rating.
- 18:57Speaker 2: For Football at four.
- 18:59Speaker 1: For all the years Football World consistently one of our
- 19:03Speaker 1: highest rated segments on the show.
- 19:04Speaker 3: But there was that Monday and Wednesday. Monday and Wednesday
- 19:07Speaker 3: the highest correct.
- 19:08Speaker 1: I will break it down for you. I will break
- 19:10Speaker 1: down Monday Wednesday four to four to twenty five.
- 19:12Speaker 2: Okay. There was a time when.
- 19:16Speaker 1: Jeff Mosher did the Mosher Mondays with me live at
- 19:20Speaker 1: a different property in Atlantic City. We did that for
- 19:22Speaker 1: a couple of years together, didn't we.
- 19:24Speaker 3: We do every and every time I'm at that specific property,
- 19:26Speaker 3: I find that spot where you and I would post up,
- 19:29Speaker 3: and I'm like, man, I can't believe how old. I
- 19:31Speaker 3: really starting to feel five zero now because that was
- 19:33Speaker 3: a lot were you.
- 19:35Speaker 2: I was gonna say, job, you were fifty, you're fifty now.
- 19:39Speaker 2: I remember.
- 19:40Speaker 1: I think you and I were doing the show the
- 19:42Speaker 1: day that they traded for oh Man, the the I
- 19:47Speaker 1: think they traded for who's the head coach.
- 19:49Speaker 2: Of the Texans, Meko Ryans. I think the.
- 19:52Speaker 1: Eagles made a trade for him to day that you
- 19:54Speaker 1: and I were live there.
- 19:56Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean we did the show. A wow, lot
- 19:58Speaker 3: of lot of crazy stuff happened, you know while we
- 20:00Speaker 3: were doing the show. Yeah, so it's fun.
- 20:03Speaker 2: So you're fifty now when were we doing that show?
- 20:05Speaker 2: What were you like? Thirty?
- 20:07Speaker 3: Well that would be two thousand and well, I mean
- 20:10Speaker 3: we did the show even before the Dimico try. We
- 20:13Speaker 3: did a show when Kevin Copples quarterback. Was that twenty
- 20:15Speaker 3: ten when he lost his doctorin Michael Vick?
- 20:18Speaker 2: Right?
- 20:19Speaker 3: So no, yeah, twenty ten? So I was I don't know.
- 20:23Speaker 3: I was born in seventy.
- 20:23Speaker 2: Six, Yeah, sixteen years ago, so.
- 20:26Speaker 3: Yeah, a long time ago.
- 20:27Speaker 2: Thirty four.
- 20:28Speaker 1: I was the young pump and we're still churning out
- 20:31Speaker 1: great mosure mondays here on the Sports Bass Live.
- 20:34Speaker 2: We still both have job that's amazing.
- 20:36Speaker 3: Yes, thanks to the listeners, and thanks to the Eagles
- 20:38Speaker 3: for being like a content king.
- 20:42Speaker 2: All right, man, looking forward to talking to you again
