Transcript
- 0:00Welcome to World View Matters, discussing controversial issues, discerning current events,
- 0:10defending biblical Christianity.
- 0:13No topic, off limits.
- 0:16And now, here's your host, David Fierazzo.
- 0:19Hey, friends.
- 0:20Thanks for watching.
- 0:21And sharing the podcast.
- 0:22We're going to jump right into it today.
- 0:23There's a lot to cover with.
- 0:24With Pete Garcia, retired military combat veteran and aviator.
- 0:29He's a writer, speaker, researcher, teacher of Bible, prophecy, and apologetics.
- 0:33And his website is rev310.net.
- 0:38That's our EV310.net.
- 0:42Pete Garcia, welcome back to World View Matters.
- 0:44Good to see you, brother.
- 0:46And it's going to be back with you, David.
- 0:48Yeah, always.
- 0:49So where have you been recently?
- 0:50I know you've been on a couple of trips, including Australia.
- 0:53We have a couple of pastor friends over there.
- 0:55Tell us about your recent trips and where you've been speaking.
- 0:59The last, yes, the last two I spoke at was in Australia, New Zealand.
- 1:03It was part of Tom Hughes's prophecy conference tour down there, called until he comes,
- 1:11or until he returns.
- 1:12I think it was called until he comes.
- 1:14And it was myself, Billy, Ron, Brandon, whole house, Mondo, Gonzalez, Ken Michaels, and
- 1:20then Tom and then me.
- 1:22So that was an amazing time that the people there in Australia and New Zealand, they were
- 1:29so grateful for us to come down there because it's so expensive and it's such a arduous
- 1:36task to get ministries down there and even to get materials down their books and things
- 1:41like that shipping stuff down there is really expensive.
- 1:44So it was a really great time.
- 1:47I really enjoyed meeting the people there.
- 1:49And we did our best to try and encourage them to start networking and building communities
- 1:54in their locations because when you have like 800 people show up and you feel like you're
- 2:00the only person in your whole area that is interested in Bible prophecy, and then you
- 2:06talk to the person sitting next to you like, oh, you're the next town over.
- 2:09And so people like that were making those kind of connections or were hoping that should
- 2:14the Lord Terry will go back down and you know that will be double the size next time.
- 2:19That's awesome.
- 2:20Friend of ours, Pastor Dean Dwyer mentioned you guys in the conference and just I'm so glad
- 2:25you guys have that opportunity to go over there coming up.
- 2:28You're going to be in Oklahoma looks like you're going to be in Mississippi anywhere else that
- 2:33people can check your website about.
- 2:36Yeah, so I'll be in Fort Collins, Colorado on April 6th and 7th, it'll be myself and Lee
- 2:42Brainerd there with a church and we're being brought in by a guy named Steve Schmutzert.
- 2:49Then April 11th through the 13th will be in Guthrie, Oklahoma and that will be myself,
- 2:54Lee Brainerd, Mondo Gonzales, and Ellie Marzuli. And then May 4th is going to be in Mississippi
- 3:03and that's me and Jeff Kinley. Yep.
- 3:07Chris and Kathy got here and meeting with those fine folks there and then prophecy watchers
- 3:13will be at the end of June in Colorado Springs.
- 3:15All right, kicking off. Well actually we've already kicked off the year.
- 3:18That's going to just keep things just rolling for you. So glad to see you getting out there Pete.
- 3:24So today let's jump into you talk about these events a lot when you travel when you speak
- 3:30depending on what the conference is about. But we've been sharing emails back and forth.
- 3:36You've been sending me some of your presentations. There's so much. I mean, they can take six hours.
- 3:41Well, we have less than a half hour. So I'm going to let you kick off with whatever one you wanted
- 3:45to go to first because there's some fascinating quotes, information, and just go ahead Pete.
- 3:50Share what's on your heart. All right, so this will be kind of a combination of the two
- 3:56presentations that gave down in Australia, New Zealand. First of which was the ghost in the
- 4:00machine dealing with the veil that's being cast over the world and cast over the nations that's
- 4:06blinding people to the reality and to where we are in time and to truth in general. And then the
- 4:12second presentation was the tyranny of the present. And there I'm dealing a lot more with time
- 4:18as a construct and how we understand the times we live in. And so in that, I wanted to really kind
- 4:25of, with you, I wanted to discuss what the Bible calls the times of the Gentiles.
- 4:31And we can look back through history and we can see the rising and falling of empires
- 4:36going all the way back to like the Acadians, Sumerians, the Egyptian dynasties, the Caldeans,
- 4:44Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, Romans, and so forth, you know, up into modern times.
- 4:49And Karl Rove, who was a political strategist for President George W. Bush once said that empires
- 4:57create reality. And that quote really resonated with me because when you think about
- 5:04those different empires and dynasties and kingdoms, when they are in power, when they're at the
- 5:09height of their control, they create the reality of that day. So they tell the people who they're
- 5:16going to worship, how they're going to worship, what they're going to do and live and how they're
- 5:20going to live and where they're going to live and who they're going to fight. And they create the
- 5:24laws and essentially create the history narrative that they want to pass down. And we've seen that
- 5:32play out over and over and over. And this is the rising and falling of empires has been fairly
- 5:38routine and regular throughout human history. And the point I was making with this particular
- 5:44piece was not that, you know, not disputing that empires create reality they do. It's that transition
- 5:51point between empires. So as an empire is on the decline and it's beginning to fall apart,
- 5:57and then you have another empire rising up, you have these two competing realities that are trying
- 6:02to control the narrative for the world. And I think that's where we are today. We're seeing the
- 6:09decline of the United States. We're also seeing the rise of this globalist entity and it's taking
- 6:14it's like a multi-headed hydrant. It's taking all different kinds of shapes, but it's coming at us
- 6:19from academia, from the private industry, corporate world, you know, the economic side, religion.
- 6:28You know, it's coming from many different facets, but it seems like that is what is going to be
- 6:33replacing what I always call Pax Americana would have been basically the the normal world order
- 6:41or the present world order since the end of World War II where America, the United States,
- 6:45led the world and basically every metric that you can think of that's coming to an end. And I
- 6:51think our enemies and our allies realize that's coming to an end. So they're accelerating this
- 6:56collapsing so they can move on to the next thing. And that next thing is why they call it the great
- 7:02reset. The reset is resetting the world order so that the United States is no longer in charge.
- 7:08So Pete, let's go back to the slide empire's create reality. It starts with the Tower of Babel.
- 7:14So you've got or Tower of Babel and that's from Genesis. And it goes really through world history
- 7:19wars and empires. And then it ends is that the last slide there is that out of the book of
- 7:25Revelation explain that to us. And then within each one of these does can you fit the cycle of
- 7:34cycles within each one of these historical markers? Through most of them. Yeah. So the last a couple
- 7:42slides are the last three pictures there. The third one to the end. That is a screenshot from
- 7:49Dark Norse which is a a website that tracks all cyber attacks in the world. And you can see that
- 7:54that any given hour of the day there are tens of thousands of cyber attacks going on everywhere.
- 8:01Oh my coming from the United States against the United States. Yeah. And they run the map in
- 8:06lifetime real time. So you can watch it as as an attack comes out of the Philippines and it goes
- 8:12into Japan or Japan goes into North Korea. It's going all over the place. And so it's it's
- 8:17pretty fascinating to watch this that while we go about our daily lives there is an active
- 8:22cyber war going on all around us. And just today I mean the cell phone carriers went down. There
- 8:31was a nationwide outage with AT&T and then a whole host of other carriers were experiencing all
- 8:37kind of problems as well as many websites and even Starlink was having issues. So it seemed
- 8:45it seemed to be rather odd because you have all these different platforms that are at different
- 8:50places in the world and even outside of the atmosphere being attacked. So we didn't know if it was
- 8:55cyber if it was some type of natural phenomenon with like a solar flare or something like that impacting
- 9:00anything electrical. We nobody's explained what it is just yet I'm sure we'll find out hopefully
- 9:05in a few days. But the other two pictures there are the advancement of robotics and how artificial
- 9:11intelligence is going to be put into these machines. And then the last one is the swarm technology
- 9:17that's quickly becoming I think it's going to become the model going into the future and how to offset
- 9:26advancing technologies. If somebody has an ICBM or really the world's fastest and best yet
- 9:32how do you fight against that or how do you fight against a country that has decked man at 200
- 9:37million man army when we we are struggling to even meet recruiting demands. So I think they're
- 9:42looking at these ways to offset those disadvantages we have right now. That's fascinating because
- 9:48technology we rely on technology so heavily. But yeah there have been in the last several years
- 9:53the military has had recruiting shortages. Now there are many reasons for that that we're
- 9:57not going to get into on this podcast the wokeness and the transgenders and all the stuff that
- 10:01the administration is doing but there's a concern in America. They for some reason the Democrats
- 10:08don't take their responsibility seriously when it comes to national defense. Your thoughts on
- 10:12that Pete before we move on? Yeah it's inevitable you can't when you look at the majority of the
- 10:21ethnic group that makes up the military any of the military armed forces that's predominantly
- 10:26white males particularly from the south and when you target them as enemy number one in every single
- 10:32kind of metric and you're constantly diminishing them as a people and as a race it's no wonder why
- 10:40parents are dissuading their kids from going not going into the military. I don't want my kids
- 10:44going into the military and I serve 22 years is not the same army that it was. So until that
- 10:49changes I'm telling my 18 year old like hey there's better ways if you need to get college we'll
- 10:56figure out a way if you need to go to this place there's a better way. So yeah I'm sure I'm not
- 11:03alone in that in terms of parents talking common sense to their kids. So another slide you had was
- 11:09called the cycle of cycles. Is that going to be a next logical step to go because we just talked
- 11:15about the empire's creating reality? Yeah so so basically Alexander Tyler who was a Scottish
- 11:23philosopher years and you're back in the 1800s he had this cycle that's very well known it talks about
- 11:29how the cycle that a nation or kingdom will go through and it starts off in bondage and then it
- 11:35goes into spiritual faith and out of that break courage and then liberty and then abundance and
- 11:40then apathy dependence and then back into bondage and this has been seen over and over throughout
- 11:47any empire kingdom that's that's you know been around for longer than say 200 years we generally
- 11:52see this you can see these patterns repeating and Mark Twain once said that you know history doesn't
- 11:58repeat itself but it rhymes and so we see this over and over and the reason we see it over and
- 12:03over is because humans don't change we're still sinful following people who are selfish and
- 12:08self-centered and and you know at our core we're not good people let if left to our own devices so
- 12:15this is why these empires and stuff keep repeating the same thing the other layers on that I put
- 12:21on there come some of that comes from like William Strauss and how who came up with this idea of
- 12:28the fourth turning point and it talks about every 80 years there's there's generally a repeat of
- 12:35the cycle so the each 80 years is broken into 20 year segments and you have the the nomad generation
- 12:42the hero generation the artist generation and the profit generation yeah and and so we see that
- 12:50and you can look through the you can you can it's a very simple thing to pull up I mean you can
- 12:54have just put up how and HOWE and then put up fourth generation or a fourth turning point and
- 13:00it'll it'll show you the breakdown of these but the the thing that is interesting is that they
- 13:06also incorporate these turning points and we see these turning points very clearly in the United
- 13:11States but you can also see it through other nations like the English the French you could look
- 13:17at the Roman Empire and then you can apply this to many different kingdoms and empires of the past
- 13:23but the turning point kind of coincides sort of with the industrial revolutions that we've gone
- 13:29through the first second and third and now we're in the fourth industrial revolution where
- 13:33everything's becoming automated everything is becoming connected to the internet
- 13:38we have this I this phrase called the internet of things the military has a thing called the
- 13:44internet of military things so everything that can be connected to the internet will be connected to
- 13:50the internet and I think going forward that's going to play into this new strategy that they're
- 13:55looking at in terms of how they want to control everything into the future and then has to deal
- 14:01with mosaic warfare and we can talk about that in a little bit but the quote I wanted to really
- 14:05highlight was by Sir John Glob and I'm just going to read the first sentence and not the whole thing
- 14:11because it's pretty lengthy but his book The Fate of Empires and the Search for Survival he writes
- 14:17the people of the great nations of the past seem normally to have imagined that their
- 14:21preeminence would last forever and so when you think about today people that we get in the
- 14:29the way things are today are the way they're always going to be and it's common in every generation
- 14:35everybody thinks that but it never turns out that way I mean the the only constant that we've ever
- 14:42had through human history is that everything changes it's always changing and so and it's
- 14:47only changing now more exponentially because of the pace at which technology is changing and how
- 14:52that's revolutionizing how we live in the world today yeah when we talk about these cycles it's
- 14:57always been somewhat disappointing disturbing sobering for me looking at world history and looking
- 15:04at where America is at you know we've had the awakening and now we're kind of in the unraveling
- 15:10and between complacency and apathy we're heading toward dependence and then back into bondage
- 15:16it's sad to say a great republic under god I should say former republic under god but we've
- 15:22got to take a quick break we're with Pete Garcia friends the website is rev310.net we'll be right

- 16:07we're talking about all kinds of things warfare prophecy you've got a phenomenal slide
- 16:13called jigsaw versus the mosaic is that where you wanted to go next yeah yeah so I was asked a
- 16:20question in in Australia one of the questions that we couldn't get to in the q&a we didn't answer
- 16:26there but we answered it later in New Zealand but as I was looking and researching for the answer to
- 16:31this question it led me down this whole different path of just very interesting things and one of the
- 16:39things that that really stood out to me was the question was you know is DARPA like really 50 years
- 16:46of head of where we are with technology or is that just kind of like a siop or is that some kind
- 16:51of mind trick mind fake they're trying to get to to pull over on the people and so as I begin
- 16:57researching DARPA and how DARPA is made up it revealed a lot of interesting things about how
- 17:03their mindset is on things so they began in the 1950s after the Russians launched sputnik into
- 17:10space and they beat the us into space and the early stages of the space race there and so DARPA
- 17:17was supposed to be created separate and different from the rest of the department of defense and that
- 17:21it would always be the leading edge on on anything and it would not have the same restrictions and
- 17:26requirements that other projects require going into like developing a new tank or developing a
- 17:34new plane etc etc and a great example of this in in is the air force going to DARPA saying hey we
- 17:40want a faster jet and so the DARPA they create the plans the blue parents and they make this faster
- 17:45jet and then the air force comes back a little bit later hey we want it to go faster and then so
- 17:49they keep going back and forth on this faster and faster and faster and then DARPA say well why don't
- 17:53we just look at it as a different way instead of it making it you know in this never-ending quest for
- 17:59the fastest thing ever why don't we just make it invisible and so that that led them down another
- 18:04way of how to create a plane that can fly through the skies that can't be tracked by any kind of radar
- 18:09anything and basically it flies invisible and that's where the stealth bomber came out of that concept
- 18:15and then obviously that cloaking technology was passed on to the f 35 another advanced aircraft so
- 18:20that technology now has been with us for many you know for many decades but that idea is how DARPA
- 18:26thinks about things they don't like to take the traditional path on something they want to think
- 18:31outside of the box and so one of the ways that they are revolutionizing warfare is moving away from
- 18:38the traditional models of of creating a standalone tank a standalone ship a standalone plane a
- 18:46standalone weapon what they're really focused on now is creating a system of system system of systems
- 18:54right so in traditional warfare you think about a jigsaw puzzle each one of those pieces is
- 18:58specifically cut to fit in that one place in the puzzle and that's how traditional militaries and
- 19:06defense industries have looked at projects as these standalone things rather if you look at the
- 19:12picture below that there is a mosaic of the Spartan soldier and if you look at each of those
- 19:18individual pieces there's just little squares and the only difference in the squares is the color
- 19:23and so you can apply different colors to make a different picture but those can be plug and play
- 19:30and so the intent then is to focus more on creating an array of sensors that litter the battlefield
- 19:38and then those sensors are constantly feeding information back to a decision maker
- 19:43and that decision maker can be a human sitting in an op center somewhere or it can be a system
- 19:49an artificial intelligence system that makes a decision for whether to execute the attack or not
- 19:56and then the last piece of that is increasing the the lethality in that attack
- 20:00and so that is where they are moving today with technology and so when you think about why
- 20:05everything is being connected to the internet everything is becoming a smart device your washer
- 20:11machine your car your watch your cell phones I mean everything is being connected to the internet
- 20:18anything that can be connected to the internet will be connected to the internet and what that
- 20:21does is that's going to create a worldwide sensor array across the world and everywhere you go
- 20:30there's going to be sensors and then those sensors are then tied in with things that can execute
- 20:35make a decision and execute an attack whether it's a a long-range drone that just flies and
- 20:40hovers over the earth and is solar panels so it's you know it's always being recharged as it flies
- 20:45over the earth and then it can make decisions or it can feed that decision back to a drone on the
- 20:51ground that was in a kind of a the status a a dormant status you know hibernating if you will
- 20:59then it's activated right then and there and then it can execute an attack and but that idea
- 21:04mosaic warfare at least the strategy of it is not new and as I was telling you before
- 21:11the the idea mosaic strategy goes back to the the beginning of the church in a sense so when
- 21:19Jesus was in the upper room and he's telling his disciples the night before he's arrested and
- 21:24taken the trial to be crucified he tells him I'm going to go away but if I go away I'm going to
- 21:28come back and take you to be where I am and then he goes on to explain to them that when he goes away
- 21:34the father was going to send a helper and this helper the comforter is going to be the holy spirit
- 21:39and we know later on through Paul's writings and the other epistles that when a person places
- 21:44their faith in Jesus Christ they are immediately indwelt and sealed by the holy spirit
- 21:49amen so in a sense we become the sensor here on the earth and we carry out the mandate of being
- 21:54salt and light in the world and we've had Christians all over the world for the last two thousand
- 22:00years and I think this is where we're seeing things today kind of trying to mirror that and trying
- 22:05mimic that because Satan can't create anything originally of his own thinking he's mimicking what
- 22:11God's already done and so he is using technology to achieve that end and then ultimately we know
- 22:17that technology is going to manifest in what we call the mark of the beast and then that will be
- 22:21used to track everything and control everything on the planet as well as become presumably some type
- 22:27of living sensor everywhere you go we know that when if you go to if you go to a house a friend's
- 22:32house and he has Alexa that Alexa's without you knowing it is going to be interacting with any
- 22:39technology you're carrying on with you whether it's a smartphone whether it's your car outside
- 22:45and it can create a digital picture without even seeing you because it can look at everything that's
- 22:51tied to the internet and it does the math on it increases kind of a digital blueprint of you
- 22:57being at this person's house so it's going to be to that level there's not going to be anywhere
- 23:02to hide one Satan gets this thing going so Pete in the last four or five minutes here keeping with
- 23:07the military theme you've got to quote by former secretary of defense Donald Rumsfeld and you've
- 23:12got what's called an uncertainty matrix I know you could take a whole half hour or whatever and
- 23:17just explain that but can you walk us through some of the bullet points yeah so Donald Rumsfeld the
- 23:24former secretary of defense was asked this early on in the the early stages of the Iraq war
- 23:30talking about the weapons of mass destruction and so forth and he was trying to explain this to
- 23:34the reporters there and he said there are known loans and there are things there are things we know
- 23:39we know we we also know there are known unknowns and that is to say we know there are some things we
- 23:45do not know but there are also unknown unknowns and they're the ones that we don't know we don't
- 23:50know and I'd sounds very redundant and they're saying all that but it really the unknown unknowns
- 23:57with what we call a black swan those are those things we don't even know to be scared of you know
- 24:03like a sudden eruption of a volcano or something, you know, earthquake or something that happens
- 24:09completely unexpected. But the known knowns and implying this to prophecy, I kind of broke these
- 24:16down in another slide. I just said, we know that Jesus told us specifically that he would come
- 24:21back and come back for his church. And that's repeated in several different places in scripture. But
- 24:27that is something we can bank on. We know we can take God at His word. We can take Jesus at His word
- 24:32that He is going to come back for us. So that would be an example of a known known. We know that
- 24:37He's coming with clouds. We know that he's coming to take the church first and then he'll come
- 24:43back with the church at the second coming and then he'll conquer the world and rule and reign for
- 24:48the next thousand years. We know that there was known unknowns. So a known unknown would be
- 24:54related to we know he's going to come back. We just don't know when and he gave several parables
- 25:00where he implied that there would be a significant amount of time that would pass between the two.
- 25:04The parable of the talons, parable of the wicked vine dressers and that the gospel will go to the
- 25:10ends of the earth and the parable of the faithful and the evil servant. So there is time implied
- 25:16in there. We just don't know how much time. And then the last one, the unknown known is that we'll
- 25:21know we won't know specifically, but the Bible states we should recognize the season. So even though
- 25:26we're not going to know the day or the hour, there are several places in scripture that implies
- 25:31that we should know the season. We should see it coming based on signs that the Bible gives us
- 25:36to be looking for. So yes, signs of the times and discerning. Boy, we need better discernment,
- 25:43don't we, as a church? Also, you got into some failed apocalyptic predictions. We don't have
- 25:50time to get into that. I thought that list was fascinating. Man, you go all the way back to a thousand
- 25:54AD and you talk about just some of the people that made predictions and oh, so that's a whole
- 26:00another topic, but Pete just leave our viewers with some encouragement knowing that things are
- 26:06changing rapidly. It's hard to keep up with everything, but our faith obviously is in a God who
- 26:12knows the future and we can trust him, right? Yeah, yeah. I think we know storms coming. We get
- 26:21prepared. We stay focused on what God's called us to do and influence those within our circle
- 26:27of influence. So we stay busy about the Lord's work. We keep our hope focused on Jesus Christ
- 26:34and His promise to come back for us. So we keep looking up. We keep watching because those aren't
- 26:40those aren't just simply nice to do. Those are commands that Christ gave us himself to be watching
- 26:44and waiting for him and to be expecting him. And I think that's really what we should be doing here
- 26:51in these last days. Amen, brother. And one of the promises that you named your ministry after
