- 2:21[SPEAKER_01]: Do we still need to address Spotify?
- 2:23[SPEAKER_01]: Is that been cleared up yet?
- 2:23[SPEAKER_01]: Do we need to announce that still?
- 2:26[SPEAKER_04]: Just forget it.
- 2:27[SPEAKER_04]: If you don't hear intro music, if you're listening this on audio, it's because Spotify still.
- 2:32[SPEAKER_04]: hasn't communicated with me.
- 2:34[SPEAKER_01]: So whatever, we're essentially the intro song that we've used since, like, episode three of this podcast 2021, really, okay, since episode one in 2020, all of a sudden is now like a right issue with Spotify, it makes no sense.
- 2:51[SPEAKER_01]: So if you don't hear intro music, that's why you're just going to lead in with my, the soft tones of me.
- 2:57[SPEAKER_01]: But.
- 2:58[SPEAKER_01]: Again, this has jumped into it here, tough data to be at Brown's fan.
- 3:02[SPEAKER_01]: I intentionally, I didn't tell anybody my thoughts in the discord after the game.
- 3:06[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't even like text Josh and Justin other than about kind of how funny I thought today was.
- 3:11[SPEAKER_01]: If you're dead inside like me and you have zero expectations, you can kind of laugh these things off.
- 3:18[SPEAKER_01]: So I just wanted to be, I wanted the first place where my thoughts come out to be on the live episode tonight.
- 3:24[SPEAKER_01]: And I,
- 3:26[SPEAKER_01]: What I said now is, if they want to fire everybody, just fire everybody.
- 3:31[SPEAKER_04]: I was going to ask you if you were ready yet, man.
- 3:34[SPEAKER_01]: So here's the deal.
- 3:35[SPEAKER_01]: This was, I talked a lot about how I expected us to be donated to buy.
- 3:41[SPEAKER_01]: We were actually, we were two and six.
- 3:42[SPEAKER_01]: We were better than I thought we would be at the buy.
- 3:44[SPEAKER_01]: I was remaining patient.
- 3:46[SPEAKER_01]: But I said that there were games left on the schedule that I was judging the Browns on, and that this was one of them.
- 3:51[SPEAKER_01]: I also said this was an absolute cannot lose game.
- 3:54[SPEAKER_01]: You cannot lose to a team that is actively tanking.
- 3:56[SPEAKER_01]: They want to lose the game, at least their front office and maybe their coaching staff would never say it out loud, but I bet you like they have some assurances that losses are okay right now, you know?
- 4:09[SPEAKER_01]: And we lost that game.
- 4:12[SPEAKER_01]: And it's just, it's at the point now where
- 4:15[SPEAKER_01]: I, even though I'm like, you can fire everybody in maybe you need to fire everybody.
- 4:20[SPEAKER_01]: I, I'm more upset about how we got to this point because
- 4:25[SPEAKER_01]: Like I still think Kevin will go coach somewhere and probably be good.
- 4:29[SPEAKER_01]: I think we're firing our best coach that we've had in a long time.
- 4:33[SPEAKER_01]: And I think one decision to go get a quarter back to end up sucking completely derailed what was a very promising build for us to finally have front office and coach in place.
- 4:44[SPEAKER_01]: And that one decision essentially tanked any chance they had at being successful and now it's just completely off the rails.
- 4:52[SPEAKER_01]: I also don't think it's all on like,
- 4:55[SPEAKER_01]: It's not just Kevin, above and true, and the special teams are terrible.
- 4:59[SPEAKER_01]: And I've been trying to say for the entire season that the defense is front runners.
- 5:04[SPEAKER_01]: And they got bullied in the fourth quarter by a jet steam.
- 5:10[SPEAKER_01]: And I understand that if we don't give up two special teams touch downs, we would have won the game, defense played well enough to win.
- 5:16[SPEAKER_01]: But once again, you needed one stop.
- 5:20[SPEAKER_01]: You needed one stop to have a chance to beat the jets, the jets.
- 5:25[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, you got bullied.
- 5:29[SPEAKER_01]: And you had a second and 17 and give up a 42 yard touchdown past a brief haul on a just a regular old screen pass.
- 5:35[SPEAKER_01]: And then after that, you let them just get first down, first down, first down, and then you jump off sides.
- 5:41[SPEAKER_01]: Like so the defense is front runners and honestly God they've been front runners for three seasons, even going back to the year where they were technically great.
- 5:50[SPEAKER_01]: They were great at home against bad quarterbacks in awful on the road against anybody average or better.
- 5:56[SPEAKER_01]: They've been front runners for three years now, and they've just been able to skate by on that and people could blame the offense and say, well, if the offense is better, the defense would be good if they're front runners.
- 6:05[SPEAKER_01]: I don't want to hear any more talk about the defense.
- 6:07[SPEAKER_01]: The entire team today's, the maybe the most aggravated I've ever been with the Browns and like last two years.
- 6:14[SPEAKER_01]: This is a game you cannot lose and for maybe the first time this season, people will think I'm crazy.
- 6:19[SPEAKER_01]: We looked
- 6:20[SPEAKER_01]: We looked like we didn't even care.
- 6:21[SPEAKER_01]: It was the first game I watched this issue, where we looked like we just, man, whatever, we're gonna lose to the jets.
- 6:27[SPEAKER_01]: And it's coaching malfeasance.
- 6:30[SPEAKER_01]: Now practice to continue to put Dylan Gabriel on the field.
- 6:35[SPEAKER_04]: Absolutely, man.
- 6:36[SPEAKER_04]: I agree with you.
- 6:37[SPEAKER_04]: It's good to hear you kind of shifting gears on what, you know, has been going on with this team.
- 6:42[SPEAKER_04]: I was watching this game.
- 6:46[SPEAKER_04]: Like, so after the game, looking at the stats kind of reconfirmed what I was feeling during the game.
- 6:53[SPEAKER_04]: They had that 42 yard screen passing the fourth quarter to put them up.
- 6:57[SPEAKER_04]: And before that, the Brown's defense held just in fields, it forget that it's just in field.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_04]: He just went off against the, you know, I noticed the bangles and everything, but the dude is capable.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_04]: He's a capable quarterback when given an opportunity, we held in five completions for 12 yards and a pick throughout the vast majority of the game, five completions for 12 yards, the opposing quarterback in an NFL game.
- 7:22[SPEAKER_04]: There's no way, no way, you should lose that game.
- 7:26[SPEAKER_04]: That is an inexcusable, it's just, oh my gosh.
- 7:30[SPEAKER_01]: And here's what it's, this is gonna sound crazy because the offense wasn't good.
- 7:35[SPEAKER_01]: The defense, other than I think the defense were the definition of soft in the fourth quarter.
- 7:43[SPEAKER_01]: Technically, the defense and the offense played well enough to win today.
- 7:47[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, the easily winable game, it's why I was talking to my dad about after the game.
- 7:50[SPEAKER_04]: I said, oh, easily should win that game.
- 7:52[SPEAKER_04]: No, no context.
- 7:53[SPEAKER_04]: We are clearly a better roster than the jets.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_04]: Clearly is bad.
- 7:57[SPEAKER_01]: Is bad is the offense was.
- 7:59[SPEAKER_01]: They still played well enough to win that game.
- 8:01[SPEAKER_01]: But you can't give up two touchdowns on special teams.
- 8:04[SPEAKER_01]: There it is.
- 8:05[SPEAKER_01]: You know, like so you find you finally got enough out of the offense and when I say enough, I mean like the absolute bare minimum of what you should get out of your offense.
- 8:14[SPEAKER_01]: But it was more than we've gotten the last few weeks and they like they were given a short field for the one touchdown.
- 8:23[SPEAKER_01]: But all 20 points they scored were the offense.
- 8:25[SPEAKER_01]: The defensive, you know,
- 8:27[SPEAKER_01]: Like the dolphins game, I think the defense scored if I remember correctly.
- 8:31[SPEAKER_01]: Yep.
- 8:31[SPEAKER_01]: But like, so this was 20 all offensive points.
- 8:35[SPEAKER_01]: Well, they were able to take a advantage of a short field.
- 8:38[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 8:39[SPEAKER_01]: But you have, I know, I know, I know, I know, I mean, I'm just saying it wasn't like a drive down the field, but yeah, I'm with you.
- 8:46[SPEAKER_01]: So, but it was 20 organic points out of the offense, which for us is kind of a modern-day miracle.
- 8:52[SPEAKER_02]: That's like 50.
- 8:54[SPEAKER_01]: and in the defense held a guy to under a hundred yards passing it's I think sixty some yards passing forty four fifty four fifty four and one of that one pet play was a forty two yard it was a screen pass it was behind the line in scrimmage
- 9:10[SPEAKER_01]: And we lost that game because we gave up two special teams touchdowns.
- 9:13[SPEAKER_01]: It's just, that's the kind of stuff where I've been like the staunchest supporter of everything of the front office and the coach, that's inexcusable, that's inexcusable.
- 9:27[SPEAKER_01]: You can't lose, you can't lose to this team in that way.
- 9:31[SPEAKER_01]: What I fire everybody tomorrow,
- 9:33[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think it does any good, but at this point, unless like a miracle happens in that miracle is not going to happen, they're all gone, they're going to be all gone.
- 9:45[SPEAKER_01]: Jimmy has him's only going to have so much patience.
- 9:48[SPEAKER_01]: Whenever I said we all expected what this season would be, yes, I expected to lose all the games to the good teams and beat the awful teams and have four to six wins.
- 9:59[SPEAKER_01]: we're going to be lucky if we went to the game.
- 10:02[SPEAKER_04]: I know you right before we came on you said, yeah, you're prediction of winning three of the next four is not off to a great start here.
- 10:08[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, because we're definitely not beating the Ravens next week.
- 10:10[SPEAKER_04]: I don't think there's any AFC north, you know, weird stuff that can happen next week where the Browns actually beat the Ravens.
- 10:19[SPEAKER_04]: I don't care if it's at home.
- 10:20[SPEAKER_04]: Like they're they're on a street care where they're trying to make it to the playoffs.
- 10:24[SPEAKER_04]: They're not going to let us beat them.
- 10:26[SPEAKER_04]: Like it's not going to happen.
- 10:27[SPEAKER_04]: It happened last year.
- 10:28[SPEAKER_04]: They're not going to let it happen again.
- 10:30[SPEAKER_04]: And then we get to go to Las Vegas, which after we lost to the jets, there is no game I'm picking the browns of wind this year.
- 10:37[SPEAKER_01]: None.
- 10:40[SPEAKER_01]: I do not understand, it might be the single biggest reason why I'm like a foot out the door on the coaching staff is you can't put Dillon Gabriel back in there to continue you can listen.
- 10:52[SPEAKER_01]: I don't expect us to go to the playoffs, I didn't even expect us to win that many games.
- 10:58[SPEAKER_01]: But I expected us to beat the Jets, you know what I mean?
- 11:02[SPEAKER_01]: And when I watch you put this kid out there for now five weeks in a row, like I think you said it, the fact that this kid doesn't have 40 interceptions is he should be nearly next to his bed every night thinking the good Lord that he doesn't lead the league in interceptions in only five games.
- 11:20[SPEAKER_01]: I also don't understand how he hasn't gotten anybody killed.
- 11:25[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, that's a great point, man.
- 11:26[SPEAKER_01]: He throws more.
- 11:28[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, he did.
- 11:29[SPEAKER_01]: He got a jet's defender killed.
- 11:31[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 11:31[SPEAKER_01]: We just got lucky that the jets are so bad that the guy put a hit on his own player instead of on set.
- 11:37[SPEAKER_01]: Cedric told me would have been out for the rest of the season.
- 11:39[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, for sure.
- 11:39[SPEAKER_04]: Yep, that would have been the end of his season.
- 11:41[SPEAKER_01]: Yep.
- 11:41[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 11:41[SPEAKER_01]: You'd have had four broken ribs.
- 11:43[SPEAKER_01]: A concussion.
- 11:45[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 11:45[SPEAKER_01]: Seven week concussion.
- 11:47[SPEAKER_01]: So he throws more hospital balls than any quarterback in his heart to throw hospital balls because you're not allowed to hit anybody.
- 11:54[SPEAKER_01]: This dude has figured out a way to bring back the hospital ball.
- 11:57[SPEAKER_01]: It's just I can't watch him play anymore.
- 12:00[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm not saying he's the soul problem, but he is a large problem.
- 12:05[SPEAKER_01]: Another I don't know if I've ever watched worse offensive tackle play in my life than what I watched today.
- 12:11[SPEAKER_01]: That that was
- 12:13[SPEAKER_01]: It is hard to call plays, it's hard to do anything on offense.
- 12:17[SPEAKER_01]: When you just literally cannot block.
- 12:20[SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't matter what you do, they're running around you, they're running through.
- 12:24[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know how many times I watched one of our tackles just get pushed down on their ass.
- 12:29[SPEAKER_01]: Just pushed over, it unbelievable.
- 12:33[SPEAKER_01]: Those two tackles, Jack Conklin came Robinson.
- 12:36[SPEAKER_01]: This should be embarrassed for anybody to have watched that game today.
- 12:41[SPEAKER_01]: That was disgusting.
- 12:43[SPEAKER_04]: It's weird to me, and this is where I try to, I should go back and look at more film and things.
- 12:49[SPEAKER_04]: If I had more time to do it, it's just so Jack Conklin is a, I mean, he's a good tackle.
- 12:55[SPEAKER_04]: He's at a great career.
- 12:56[SPEAKER_04]: He's an all pro.
- 12:57[SPEAKER_04]: All those kinds of things.
- 12:58[SPEAKER_04]: Why does he look the exact same as Cornelius Lucas or KT Leviston?
- 13:02[SPEAKER_04]: Like, it doesn't matter who you put there on the other side.
- 13:05[SPEAKER_04]: It's bad.
- 13:06[SPEAKER_04]: I just, I don't understand what's going on with the line and it makes me worried about the future if by some weird chance they decide to keep coaching staff in plays or certain members.
- 13:16[SPEAKER_04]: Like what what are we gonna do?
- 13:17[SPEAKER_04]: I mean we're gonna draft a tackle in the first round.
- 13:20[SPEAKER_04]: I'm hesitant to put anybody at any position in this offense Just because I feel like nobody's nobody looks good.
- 13:25[SPEAKER_04]: It's just I don't get it man.
- 13:27[SPEAKER_04]: I don't get it
- 13:29[SPEAKER_01]: It's it's part of the problem too with like the when you when you when you try Dylan Gabriel out there there there's zero threat in the past game.
- 13:38[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 13:39[SPEAKER_01]: Yep.
- 13:39[SPEAKER_01]: There's no there's no worry.
- 13:41[SPEAKER_01]: They don't they're just bull rushing full seam ahead.
- 13:44[SPEAKER_01]: There's no threat for him to really run it.
- 13:46[SPEAKER_01]: He did it a couple times today, but overall he's not going to kill you with his legs.
- 13:51[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, he's not going to burn you against the blitz like there's just no fear.
- 13:55[SPEAKER_01]: They just pin their ears back and just go.
- 13:59[SPEAKER_01]: He cannot throw at an NFL level.
- 14:03[SPEAKER_01]: I don't understand.
- 14:04[SPEAKER_01]: I watched him play in college.
- 14:07[SPEAKER_01]: And I watched him make some throws.
- 14:10[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what happened.
- 14:11[SPEAKER_01]: Like I obviously understand the talent gap between college and the NFL is way different.
- 14:16[SPEAKER_01]: But he looks like he's never thrown a football before.
- 14:21[SPEAKER_04]: A yard is still a yard.
- 14:23[SPEAKER_04]: From college to NFL.
- 14:28[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know what it's just kind of just like he looks at the hunt.
- 14:32[SPEAKER_01]: I just kind of floats out and like it just in a hangs up there forever.
- 14:36[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, the touchdown pass to Jerry Judy was a trotius dude.
- 14:40[SPEAKER_04]: If I had to get a lot of casters call it a beautiful throw no time I was going to flip.
- 14:45[SPEAKER_01]: they had it he had him beat to the back corner of the end zone easy touchdown and it takes Jerry Judy making an incredible play think about that Jerry Judy had to save you well making kind of fell down to took to get this that ball hung up
- 15:02[SPEAKER_01]: forever four seconds of hang time and he and it looks like he had to throw it as hard as he could yeah like any anytime any ball that is a deep ball not even like deep 20 yards it looks like he can't he can't hardly get it there and everything is on this huge arc because he's so short he can't see anything even the fourth and one play call yeah
- 15:27[SPEAKER_01]: First of all, I don't know what he was doing, but we don't even know if the play was good or bad because he literally just took the snap and stood there.
- 15:35[SPEAKER_01]: Like, if you go back home, I don't even know if you took a drop.
- 15:38[SPEAKER_01]: He literally just caught the snap and just stood there.
- 15:42[SPEAKER_01]: Didn't take a drop and I saw a still and I don't know if it was from that play, but if it's from that play, yep.
- 15:46[SPEAKER_01]: There's like, literally every player was open.
- 15:50[SPEAKER_04]: Said or tillman was open, I think it was either fan and Joeku was breaking in.
- 15:55[SPEAKER_04]: They were gonna be open, like, he had options, man.
- 15:59[SPEAKER_01]: And I just, you can't keep putting him out there.
- 16:02[SPEAKER_01]: That, like, it's the single biggest reason that it's just grinding my gears about the Browns right now.
- 16:08[SPEAKER_01]: I expect it as to suck this year, but don't do things like there's no way should yours that much worse.
- 16:15[SPEAKER_01]: And even if he is, then let us see it, you know, I mean, because, yes, because there's no, it can't be worse, how it can't possibly be worse.
- 16:27[SPEAKER_04]: no, it cannot be worse.
- 16:28[SPEAKER_04]: Let's let's hit a voice now.
- 16:30[SPEAKER_04]: Let's do our buddy Andy Kaiser real quick.
- 16:32[SPEAKER_04]: What's up, guys?
- 16:33[SPEAKER_07]: Browns fans, Andy Kaiser.
- 16:35[SPEAKER_07]: Just my take on the game today.
- 16:38[SPEAKER_07]: This is a validation to me.
- 16:41[SPEAKER_07]: But this team is completely mismanaged.
- 16:43[SPEAKER_07]: I think the majority of us know that.
- 16:45[SPEAKER_07]: And that's that's top down.
- 16:47[SPEAKER_07]: And the reason I feel that way is we saw domination.
- 16:52[SPEAKER_07]: from the our opponent and all three phases of the game.
- 16:58[SPEAKER_07]: Obviously special teams, what a huge debacle, the offense.
- 17:03[SPEAKER_07]: We knew that was a problem all year, no different today, and then defense just screwing the pooch.
- 17:10[SPEAKER_07]: It took a team to lose the day, and they lost big time.
- 17:14[SPEAKER_07]: And the complete loss of my faith, I was already out on Kevin, even more so.
- 17:19[SPEAKER_07]: I don't know how you sit there and you say, Kevin doesn't, it's not really Kevin's fault.
- 17:23[SPEAKER_07]: Give another shot and then turn around and say, Dylan Gabriel sucks and he's been Kevin's guy the whole time.
- 17:30[SPEAKER_07]: To me, that just speaks volumes of Kevin himself of, he wanted Dylan Gabriel from the start, thinks he's the bees knees.
- 17:38[SPEAKER_07]: and continues their interfaces to start Shidorah Sanders or even play him.
- 17:44[SPEAKER_07]: And here we are.
- 17:45[SPEAKER_07]: So take it from there, boys.
- 17:47[SPEAKER_07]: See you.
- 17:51[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe the most concerning thing is talent evaluation in turn.
- 17:55[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know how you could what you saw to make you think that he could play this level.
- 18:03[SPEAKER_01]: And I could push back and say, just because they took him in the third round, doesn't mean they thought he was gonna be like the franchise savior, but they thought he could operate the offense.
- 18:13[SPEAKER_01]: That's why they took him in the third.
- 18:15[SPEAKER_01]: Like if they thought he was the franchise savior, they would have taken him at two.
- 18:19[SPEAKER_01]: You know, but they took him in the third.
- 18:21[SPEAKER_01]: So it's in the third is a little bit of a flyer pick, but you said he could operate the offense and you've been trying to convince us of that since you drafted him.
- 18:31[SPEAKER_01]: And there's been multiple media members who have come out and said, false, this guy is awful.
- 18:39[SPEAKER_01]: He should not even be on a roster.
- 18:42[SPEAKER_01]: Why are you, why are you trying to convince us of this?
- 18:45[SPEAKER_01]: and all it's done and then he had like one okay preseason game and people were having to try to backpuddle their criticism's of him.
- 18:53[SPEAKER_01]: No, they're back on full display.
- 18:56[SPEAKER_01]: It's just he doesn't do tell me one thing Dylan Gabriel does well.
- 19:01[SPEAKER_01]: You can't tell me he's a super computer.
- 19:03[SPEAKER_01]: You can't tell me he reads the field so well.
- 19:05[SPEAKER_01]: He misses more open guys than
- 19:13[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I feel like every single one of our receivers dad could put out a compilation video about how many times they're ugly every single one of them and it's just like and so like I made I'm all I'm out maybe right now on on this the coaching staff and everything but I think I would be out on.
- 19:33[SPEAKER_01]: different reasons.
- 19:34[SPEAKER_01]: So like my reason is the fact that they're going to continue to pedal him out there and that they think he's good enough to do something that we can all clearly see.
- 19:42[SPEAKER_01]: He's not, I'm not so much out on I guess like the play calling and the scheme.
- 19:47[SPEAKER_01]: I thought play calling especially in the first half was actually pretty decent today with Tommy Reese.
- 19:50[SPEAKER_01]: We're rolling him out more and stuff like that.
- 19:52[SPEAKER_01]: And we have guys
- 19:54[SPEAKER_01]: open.
- 19:55[SPEAKER_01]: We have below average people open all the time.
- 19:57[SPEAKER_01]: We just have yet to have a quarterback this year who will throw it to them.
- 20:00[SPEAKER_01]: And the little bit Joe Flacco would throw it to them early in the year, we just dropped them.
- 20:05[SPEAKER_01]: So it's just, it's a failure.
- 20:09[SPEAKER_01]: If I had to pick one person, I'm just, I would put most of the blame on for me, it's injury buried.
- 20:16[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I know.
- 20:17[SPEAKER_01]: We've talked about that.
- 20:18[SPEAKER_01]: This can't be a team that you assemble.
- 20:19[SPEAKER_01]: This is not an NFL caliber roster on two of the three sides of the football.
- 20:24[SPEAKER_04]: No, and I mean, I know a couple of nice drafts this past year does not enough to make me trust him with rebuilding this thing.
- 20:31[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, they've had the control of this roster in this team for six years now, and this is where we are.
- 20:38[SPEAKER_04]: We're at five and twenty one over the last two seasons now.
- 20:41[SPEAKER_04]: Like, I'm out just on those numbers.
- 20:43[SPEAKER_04]: We're five and twenty three since the last time the Browns somehow managed to put back to back wins together.
- 20:48[SPEAKER_04]: And the big thing for me, and I posted this on social media earlier,
- 20:51[SPEAKER_04]: We talked about this or I just the one thing I texted you after the game in 2022, okay?
- 20:56[SPEAKER_04]: Browns played the jets at home.
- 20:58[SPEAKER_04]: We held a 13 point lead over them with less than two minutes to play.
- 21:02[SPEAKER_04]: Since 2001, there had been 2,000, 229 such scenarios where a team had 13 point lead with less than two minutes to play and they were 2,229 and oh.
- 21:15[SPEAKER_04]: and the Browns Laws Act game.
- 21:17[SPEAKER_04]: Now, today, we go to New York and play the jets, we hold them to less than 175 total yards, and we commit at zero turnovers on offense.
- 21:27[SPEAKER_04]: Since 1950, teams were 225 and O in those scenarios and the Browns Laws, this finding historical ways to lose is I'm so sick of it, I'm sick of it.
- 21:43[SPEAKER_04]: This episode is sponsored by W3 Schools.

- 23:46[SPEAKER_01]: uh... take cast do we are rebuilding right now with uh... as we speak and you guys act like we are going to compete this year that's what it's hilarious listening the browns fans this year ll ten years you're talking to the wrong guy here that's literally been what i've been saying for nine weeks before today what i'm saying is this is a game that you win even when you're rebuilding you're still supposed to have a top
- 24:08[SPEAKER_01]: five defense, you're, you know, you're still not actively taking supposedly.
- 24:13[SPEAKER_01]: The jets are trying to lose football games.
- 24:16[SPEAKER_01]: I, their front office is pissed that they want today pissed.
- 24:22[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 24:23[SPEAKER_04]: So it's just, we've got all these first round picks and you guys go and win.
- 24:27[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, so like that you can't tell me about the I trust me.
- 24:31[SPEAKER_01]: I know about the rebuild.
- 24:32[SPEAKER_01]: I've been one of the most patient people in the world when it comes to expectations for this season and the rebuild in what to expect.
- 24:40[SPEAKER_01]: I said there was like four or five games.
- 24:42[SPEAKER_01]: I was judging the Browns on.
- 24:43[SPEAKER_01]: This was one of them and it was a failure on all three phases.
- 24:47[SPEAKER_01]: It was not there was a one single phase of this game.
- 24:51[SPEAKER_01]: Even the defense, the defense playing as well as they did it in spots
- 24:57[SPEAKER_01]: I expect that the Jets are terrible.
- 24:59[SPEAKER_01]: They have an offense arguably almost just as bad as ours You can't get bullied in the fourth quarter.
- 25:06[SPEAKER_01]: You can't jump off sides
- 25:08[SPEAKER_01]: Kevin's literally running it onto the field, screaming, don't jump, don't jump.
- 25:13[SPEAKER_01]: Everybody watching on TV, everybody in America, new, they were not running a play.
- 25:19[SPEAKER_01]: And Chad Thomas jumps off sides.
- 25:21[SPEAKER_01]: And that's after you let them run for first down on the first play.
- 25:24[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's just, that's why all three phases epic failure.
- 25:30[SPEAKER_01]: And I wasn't gonna be out on Kevin until he continued to roll Dylan Gabriel up there and it looked like the locker room quit.
- 25:36[SPEAKER_01]: to me, it looked like both things happened today.
- 25:39[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't understand how you can get that out of the buy.
- 25:41[SPEAKER_01]: And if so, we haven't even said that yet.
- 25:43[SPEAKER_04]: This was out of the buy week, it two weeks to prepare.
- 25:47[SPEAKER_04]: And I did this on the preview show, how like the Jets defense is not good, especially against the run.
- 25:53[SPEAKER_04]: And we didn't even manage to run the ball very well.
- 25:56[SPEAKER_04]: I would've been nice to have that 15 yard run on the first play of the game, but nah, Camerobinson was holding.
- 26:00[SPEAKER_04]: So now instead of,
- 26:01[SPEAKER_04]: You know, first in 10 after 15-yard gain, we had 10 yards lost and all that crap on that first drive.
- 26:07[SPEAKER_04]: It was hilarious when the announcer, I forget which one it was, said that was probably the worst opening sequence I've seen all season.
- 26:15[SPEAKER_01]: We've talked about Dylan Gabriel, but how many passes did he have today where I was like, oh, I got tipped at the line and then they show the replay.
- 26:25[SPEAKER_01]: It wasn't tipped.
- 26:26[SPEAKER_01]: Now he just threw it to nobody or he just threw it at the ground or he just threw it five yards behind.
- 26:31[SPEAKER_01]: It happened at least two or three times.
- 26:34[SPEAKER_01]: I was like, oh, I got tipped at the line and then they show the, even the announcer one time was like, that ball might have been tipped.
- 26:39[SPEAKER_01]: And then they go back, nope, not tipped.
- 26:42[SPEAKER_01]: And it's just,
- 26:44[SPEAKER_01]: Like, it's indefensible.
- 26:46[SPEAKER_01]: I've defended these people a lot more than most people.
- 26:49[SPEAKER_01]: I can't come on here and defend that.
- 26:52[SPEAKER_01]: I knew we wouldn't be able to run the ball today, by the way.
- 26:55[SPEAKER_01]: I knew it.
- 26:55[SPEAKER_01]: Well, we won't be able to run the ball until we have some threat of a passing attack because you don't even have to worry about it.
- 27:05[SPEAKER_04]: No, and for the season, we're a, I think a bottom, two or three passing offense, and we're still a bottom five rushing offense.
- 27:11[SPEAKER_04]: Like, even with Quinshawn doing some good things here and there, overall as a team, we're not good running the ball.
- 27:17[SPEAKER_04]: I wanted to do the super chat here from Neil Gray.
- 27:20[SPEAKER_04]: Thank you, man.
- 27:20[SPEAKER_04]: It says, OMG, the fans, ticket holders and season seat holders deserve to better six years, losing record, 43, 52's to fanski coaching is appalling.
- 27:29[SPEAKER_04]: He obviously has has them unconditional support for tanking 2.0 he has to go.
- 27:34[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, I, you guys all know if you've watched the show for any number of weeks there, I've been out on Kevin for a while, like just the whole coaching, the whole regime, like I'm ready to, I'm ready to just wipe it clean.
- 27:45[SPEAKER_04]: Polity pedestrian already left this week, and I think that anybody that has been involved with him over the last decade, needs to go.
- 27:52[SPEAKER_04]: Just get new people in here.
- 27:54[SPEAKER_04]: But where we are, we are rock bottom man.
- 27:58[SPEAKER_04]: We are scraping the bottom of the barrel.
- 28:00[SPEAKER_01]: I thought they would, for sure, be back.
- 28:04[SPEAKER_01]: Today makes me question whether that is the case.
- 28:08[SPEAKER_01]: You can't lose these games.
- 28:10[SPEAKER_01]: So like you can't lose to the jets.
- 28:12[SPEAKER_01]: You can't lose to the raiders.
- 28:13[SPEAKER_01]: You can't lose to the Titans.
- 28:15[SPEAKER_01]: Like...
- 28:16[SPEAKER_01]: The owner might say, hey guys, I'm not expecting to go to go to the playoff, so I'm not expecting a Super Bowl run this year, but I need you to keep the locker room together, I need you to keep guys bought in, and when you get to play those four or five teams that we should beat, I need you to beat those teams.
- 28:30[SPEAKER_01]: Not being embarrassed, not losing another historically only in Cleveland way.
- 28:33[SPEAKER_01]: You know, even the most patient owner, which Jimmy Haslam has not always been
- 28:42[SPEAKER_01]: is that's going to wear thin real quick.
- 28:45[SPEAKER_01]: So, uh, appreciate the super chat.
- 28:47[SPEAKER_04]: Did we have another one?
- 28:48[SPEAKER_04]: It was.
- 28:49[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 28:49[SPEAKER_04]: We got one from Jason here.
- 28:50[SPEAKER_04]: You want me to read it?
- 28:51[SPEAKER_04]: Do you want to read it?
- 28:51[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 28:52[SPEAKER_04]: Go ahead.
- 28:52[SPEAKER_04]: Because I lost it.
- 28:53[SPEAKER_04]: He says, uh, defense front runner question mark.
- 28:55[SPEAKER_04]: They held, uh, the jets to 13 points, uh, their offense quarterback to 54 yards running back under a hundred yards.
- 29:02[SPEAKER_04]: Stop carrying water for a losing coach who was gifted Baker Chub and Garrett to start with.
- 29:09[SPEAKER_01]: Well, here's all that can be true, and they could still be front runners.
- 29:15[SPEAKER_01]: They played well in the first half when it was going great, and as soon as there was a little bit of adversity, we're down late, they got to get a stop, they don't get it.
- 29:23[SPEAKER_01]: The offense literally never got the ball back.
- 29:25[SPEAKER_01]: You're supposed to be elite.
- 29:26[SPEAKER_01]: You're supposed to be the best defensive football, all of this team's money outside of one player is on the defensive side of the football.
- 29:33[SPEAKER_01]: don't tell me they're they're front runners they're it's just like the caps when they're when they're at home when they're playing great they make 53s as soon as somebody punches on them out they cower it's the same way with this browns defense and it's soon it's like as soon as they give up a touchdown they give up that screen pass to briefs hall instead of being like all right it's one play we still got a chance to win this it was they were done they gave up it was awful
- 29:59[SPEAKER_01]: And that's front running.
- 30:01[SPEAKER_01]: When it's going, everybody can play well when it's going good.
- 30:04[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 30:04[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, and even the best defenses in the league, like, if we were playing Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs or the Bills or the Lions or, you know, I've got good offense with a good quarterback, good coach, all that kind of stuff, you know, sometimes it's just not going to go your way.
- 30:18[SPEAKER_04]: Sometimes the other size is just going to get the better of you.
- 30:20[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, it happens.
- 30:21[SPEAKER_04]: You're playing the Jets, the New York, and Jets, man.
- 30:27[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, there's no excuse.
- 30:29[SPEAKER_04]: There was just no excuse for it to end the way it did um on defense.
- 30:32[SPEAKER_04]: Let me let me hit Brad's voice mail report.
- 30:34[SPEAKER_09]: Oh, hang on one second guys.
- 30:36[SPEAKER_09]: Let me check the news feed.
- 30:39[SPEAKER_09]: Nope, a patron hasn't been fired yet.
- 30:41[SPEAKER_09]: Dude.
- 30:42[SPEAKER_09]: Well, five fucking 26, five and 26.
- 30:46[SPEAKER_09]: That's that's what's been our record lately.
- 30:48[SPEAKER_09]: That's what the Browns are bringing so much joy to us lately.
- 30:52[SPEAKER_09]: I am just I'm over
- 30:54[SPEAKER_09]: this whole coaching regime.
- 30:56[SPEAKER_09]: I'm over the front office.
- 30:57[SPEAKER_09]: I'm over-fucking everything about this team.
- 31:00[SPEAKER_09]: I'm just done.
- 31:01[SPEAKER_09]: The jets are just waiting there.
- 31:02[SPEAKER_09]: They trade away a bunch of their good players.
- 31:05[SPEAKER_09]: And what do we do?
- 31:06[SPEAKER_09]: We lose to that team.
- 31:08[SPEAKER_09]: Justin feels that he even have over 50 yards passing and we lose to him.
- 31:12[SPEAKER_09]: Our special teams just like was like on delay.
- 31:15[SPEAKER_09]: Just run down the field on us.
- 31:16[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, that's fine.
- 31:17[SPEAKER_09]: We'll be alright.
- 31:19[SPEAKER_09]: Nope.
- 31:19[SPEAKER_09]: Defense didn't travel again.
- 31:20[SPEAKER_09]: Dylan Gabriel barely knows what a forward pass is.
- 31:25[SPEAKER_09]: Um, yeah, this team's just a disaster.
- 31:27[SPEAKER_09]: Fire everybody.
- 31:28[SPEAKER_09]: I'm just done dude.
- 31:29[SPEAKER_09]: We'll be a little positive whatever about some things.
- 31:32[SPEAKER_09]: Some of the rookies, but I'm just I'm over it.
- 31:34[SPEAKER_09]: Turn it over.
- 31:35[SPEAKER_09]: Let's start.
- 31:36[SPEAKER_09]: Let's start a new again.
- 31:37[SPEAKER_09]: It's been 10 years of this nonsense.
- 31:39[SPEAKER_09]: Let's go.
- 31:40[SPEAKER_09]: Woo-hoo-hoo.
- 31:42[SPEAKER_01]: uh... before we get to the super chat a couple things i want getting here you're skipping the defect people say we're blaming that we're not blaming the defense
- 31:51[SPEAKER_01]: But the defense was not, I'm not going to sit here and tell you I'm happy with what the defense did today because they held a terrible team to not a lot of points.
- 32:00[SPEAKER_01]: Somebody said defense did their job.
- 32:02[SPEAKER_01]: Part of their job is getting them off the field in the fourth quarter.
- 32:06[SPEAKER_01]: So our team has a chance to go down and go three and out and lose.
- 32:09[SPEAKER_01]: But at least they can win.
- 32:12[SPEAKER_01]: Put yes.
- 32:13[SPEAKER_01]: their job doesn't stop just because the offense is playing bad.
- 32:16[SPEAKER_01]: I'm so tired of hearing the why would they try when the because their professional athletes because they're getting paid because they should have some pride.
- 32:23[SPEAKER_01]: This person's success doesn't dictate whether how hard I'm going to try.
- 32:26[SPEAKER_01]: You know, like that makes no sense to me.
- 32:30[SPEAKER_01]: If I'm on the field, I'm trying as hard as I can.
- 32:33[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 32:33[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe I'm weird.
- 32:34[SPEAKER_01]: But just because the offense doesn't play well, doesn't mean I'm going to go out there and slack.
- 32:38[SPEAKER_01]: Like no, I'm still putting tape out there.
- 32:40[SPEAKER_01]: I'm still putting film for other people to see.
- 32:42[SPEAKER_01]: I'm still being paid.
- 32:43[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to go out there and I'm going to do the best job I can.
- 32:46[SPEAKER_01]: Part of their job is getting off the field in the fourth quarter and getting the ball back to the offense.
- 32:50[SPEAKER_01]: You're playing a team that you only had 12 yards passing the first half.
- 32:54[SPEAKER_01]: You couldn't get off the field in the fourth quarter.
- 32:56[SPEAKER_01]: Like, so no, yes, the offense is the worst thing ever.
- 32:59[SPEAKER_01]: The special teams is the worst thing ever.
- 33:01[SPEAKER_01]: The defense is wonderful at home when things are going great and they get to play bad quarterbacks as soon as they get on the road and front of a different crowd and somebody scores a touchdown, they cower, and they just give up.
- 33:13[SPEAKER_04]: No, I mean, we've been saying it all year.
- 33:15[SPEAKER_04]: They play very, very well.
- 33:16[SPEAKER_04]: Elite at home for the most part.
- 33:20[SPEAKER_04]: They don't treat it like Brad just that perfectly, they don't travel.
- 33:23[SPEAKER_04]: They do not travel.
- 33:24[SPEAKER_04]: I told everybody on Thursday went into the preview.
- 33:27[SPEAKER_04]: I think I've been saying it in a couple of weeks because it's been the buy.
- 33:30[SPEAKER_04]: I was nervous about this game just because it was on the road.
- 33:32[SPEAKER_04]: If it was at home, I'd have been like, yeah, Browns are definitely going to beat the jets.
- 33:36[SPEAKER_04]: On the road, it's just it's weird how it's just such a different story with this team.
- 33:40[SPEAKER_04]: I want to do the super chat here for um, oh boy.
- 33:44[SPEAKER_04]: Vivah Hernando, Vivah Hernando, one, I think.
- 33:47[SPEAKER_04]: I'm sorry if I'm screwing that up.
- 33:49[SPEAKER_04]: Small on my screen.
- 33:51[SPEAKER_04]: It says, I'm a Shador guy, so I'm new to this Browns thing.
- 33:53[SPEAKER_04]: I'm hoping he can be the answer at quarterback in the spark for a turnaround.
- 33:56[SPEAKER_04]: Browns fans deserve better.
- 33:58[SPEAKER_04]: I think we'll talk about, we have some voicemails too, bringing up Shador, but
- 34:02[SPEAKER_04]: Well, we'll dive into our expectations a little more for if and when he gets his opportunity.
- 34:08[SPEAKER_04]: You want to do that commercial break real quick and then that way would it's out of the way?
- 34:11[SPEAKER_01]: Well, yeah, one more thing is this says if they get off the field, what was Dylan going to do?
- 34:15[SPEAKER_04]: That doesn't matter, but that does it give them, put it in the offensive hand.
- 34:20[SPEAKER_04]: That's your job.
- 34:21[SPEAKER_01]: Like you said.
- 34:21[SPEAKER_01]: Get off the field, do your job, get off the field, and then if Dylan doesn't do it, then well, I'll be sitting here saying defense gave you another shot to go, wait and you screwed it up.
- 34:30[SPEAKER_01]: you don't just give up.
- 34:31[SPEAKER_01]: That's a that's a freaking loser mentality.
- 34:34[SPEAKER_01]: That kind of likes awful.
- 34:35[SPEAKER_04]: I know when we heard back in the Vikings game about, you know, they just needed that one stop in that last drive and they let him go down the field and score.
- 34:41[SPEAKER_04]: But it was very much only offense as well because we had the ball with what just under three minutes to go or something like that and we couldn't pick up a first down like on offense.
- 34:49[SPEAKER_04]: That's your job.
- 34:50[SPEAKER_04]: keep the other team off the field you got to lead you got to protect that lead you got to hold onto the ball and pick up your first downs and they weren't able to do it so yeah this team's just a disaster but we'll do a quick commercial break and then we'll be back and we got a whole bunch other stuff to get into here.

- 36:31[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what you're agreeing on, but I feel like I've said a lot of agreeable things tonight, so I appreciate that.
- 36:37[SPEAKER_01]: All right, do we have some, do we just want to jump into a voicemail of the rigging side of this?
- 36:42[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, sure.
- 36:42[SPEAKER_08]: Here's a let's do Connor always.
- 36:44[SPEAKER_08]: We got 11 minutes 38 seconds left.
- 36:47[SPEAKER_08]: I have seen Dylan Gabriel.
- 36:48[SPEAKER_08]: I understand a rookie quarterback is going to make rookie mistakes for throws you name right, but I have watched this guy up to this point.
- 37:07[SPEAKER_08]: I have no idea.
- 37:09[SPEAKER_08]: Like, I mean, we seriously have to be tanky.
- 37:11[SPEAKER_08]: This is one of the most strangest things ever, right?
- 37:14[SPEAKER_08]: Like we talk about Jackson Dart, like, you know, it's not all there, but you just see he's got something to offer.
- 37:20[SPEAKER_08]: Dylan Gabriel, I'm not even sure he could be a backup quarterback at this point.
- 37:24[SPEAKER_08]: But anyway, go dogs.
- 37:27[SPEAKER_01]: That's what he says.
- 37:28[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not even sure that's what my argument was.
- 37:31[SPEAKER_01]: I think like, even go back two weeks.
- 37:32[SPEAKER_01]: Everybody's like, he is what he is.
- 37:34[SPEAKER_01]: He's a backup.
- 37:35[SPEAKER_01]: He'll be in the league for a long time.
- 37:37[SPEAKER_01]: I don't see that.
- 37:39[SPEAKER_01]: I don't see a guy who can play at this level in the slightest bit.
- 37:43[SPEAKER_01]: We're talking about DTR 2.0.
- 37:46[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, DTR had a stronger art.
- 37:50[SPEAKER_01]: That's the biggest thing.
- 37:51[SPEAKER_01]: I think I said this on last week's episode
- 37:55[SPEAKER_01]: whenever it's a combine time we're talking about draft picks and all that stuff people are like oh he doesn't have he doesn't have a big at time NFL arm he doesn't have a rocket arm i think even joe burrow people are like oh he's he doesn't have the strongest arm maybe he'll struggle uh... struggle in Cincinnati in the in the weather and stuff like that but then i watch joe burrow throw
- 38:12[SPEAKER_01]: And he looks like he throws fine, you know, like I never even when I hear analysts and experts talking about guy not having a super strong arm, then I watch them throwing them like they're throwing the ball where it needs to go.
- 38:23[SPEAKER_01]: They can make all these throws.
- 38:25[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe not everybody's Josh Allen can throw it 100 miles per hour, but they all throw.
- 38:30[SPEAKER_01]: This is maybe the first time in my life.
- 38:32[SPEAKER_01]: I've watched the game and like noticeably, if I've been able to tell that the
- 38:40[SPEAKER_01]: And he's not injured, you know what I mean?
- 38:43[SPEAKER_01]: Like it's the first time I've ever watched or I'm like, oh, I don't think this guy has an NFL arm legitimately, and that's the, that's the first.
- 38:51[SPEAKER_01]: I've watched other guys who supposedly don't have NFL arms make throws.
- 38:55[SPEAKER_01]: This guy looks like he, if he threw it as hard as he could, he'd be lucky to get it to go 45 to yards in the air.
- 39:02[SPEAKER_04]: Dude, it's, it's concerning because, you know,
- 39:05[SPEAKER_04]: All the talk is, you know, draft draft pick draft order all this stuff.
- 39:10[SPEAKER_04]: What quarterback are we taking next year and all that kind of discussion.
- 39:13[SPEAKER_04]: This is the regime that looked at DTR and said, yeah, this is the guy we want to bring in here to be a backup quarterback and thought he was good enough to be the QB to write off the bat as a rookie.
- 39:25[SPEAKER_04]: that didn't work out very well, this is now the regime that, you know, and to the whole tanking for draft picks thing, if you're tanking for a quarterback, why'd you take two mid-round late-round quarterbacks last year?
- 39:36[SPEAKER_04]: That's just kind of a misuse of capital, because what you're putting out on the field is somebody going to come give you something of value for Dylan Gabriel.
- 39:45[SPEAKER_04]: You are the ones that evaluate a Dylan Keeperl's a third ground pick and said, not only is this guy good enough to be our QB2 to start the season, we think he's good enough to be our QB1 at some point.
- 39:55[SPEAKER_04]: He's getting first team reps all year.
- 39:57[SPEAKER_04]: And this is this is him on the field.
- 40:00[SPEAKER_04]: I've said this before, like I boy, based on their actions and what they've said about him, I expected a whole lot more than this.
- 40:07[SPEAKER_04]: This is beyond anything I could have imagined on the bad side of things.
- 40:15[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, super try.
- 40:16[SPEAKER_01]: Here we go.
- 40:16[SPEAKER_01]: How much first team reps Dylan has to get to prove he's just a backup QB is Kevin Ego above D success of the teammate when will Miles call out the offense.
- 40:25[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think Miles is going to call out the offense and wasn't too far off today though.
- 40:29[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think he's going to blatantly say it, but I also don't think he'll like sugar coat it or try to hide his disdain.
- 40:34[SPEAKER_04]: You know, you didn't hear his comments after the game.
- 40:38[SPEAKER_04]: What do you say?
- 40:38[SPEAKER_04]: They ask him about Kevin stickin' with Dylan moving forward and he said, you know, whoever's playing quarterback is Kevin's decision.
- 40:46[SPEAKER_04]: He said, I'm not sure.
- 40:47[SPEAKER_04]: But like, that's not him.
- 40:48[SPEAKER_04]: I say, oh, no, we support Dylan.
- 40:49[SPEAKER_04]: We know he's working hard.
- 40:50[SPEAKER_04]: He just say, hey, that's Kevin's pick.
- 40:53[SPEAKER_04]: We're decision, whatever.
- 40:54[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm, I'm just really hopeful that Kevin says we're gonna stick with the Dylan Gabriel right after the game.
- 41:02[SPEAKER_01]: He said the same thing about Joe before they switched to Dylan Gabriel.
- 41:05[SPEAKER_01]: I'm hoping like they go in and they sit down and they're like, we got a switch because I just I don't I'm not expecting it.
- 41:11[SPEAKER_01]: No That's just that's like my last remaining hope because to be honest.
- 41:15[SPEAKER_01]: There's not really any point watching It like why would I tune in?
- 41:20[SPEAKER_01]: There's there's almost no point watching I'm telling you right now if Dylan Gabriel starts next week he'll have turnovers.
- 41:26[SPEAKER_01]: The Ravens will feast on him It's just it's tough.
- 41:32[SPEAKER_01]: I get like if we can talk about should door for a second
- 41:35[SPEAKER_01]: what expectations are for him, what my expectations are for should doer, I don't expect him to come in in all the sudden turn the offense into the greatest show on turf, but I expect him to throw the ball with some velocity, I expect him to be able to throw a deep shot, you know, and it's not, it doesn't look like a punt,
- 41:52[SPEAKER_01]: I expect him to maybe lead to some more explosive plays.
- 41:56[SPEAKER_01]: I'm expecting him to throw the ball more than three yards down the field over and over and over again.
- 42:01[SPEAKER_01]: I expect him to take a couple of bad sacks.
- 42:03[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe even a lot of bad sacks.
- 42:05[SPEAKER_01]: I expect maybe even turn the ball over.
- 42:08[SPEAKER_01]: But I just can't keep watching this.
- 42:11[SPEAKER_01]: Like because it's so obvious that this isn't it?
- 42:14[SPEAKER_01]: And if you put Shador in and it's he's obviously not it either, well then at least we know.
- 42:20[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 42:20[SPEAKER_01]: Then at least we know.
- 42:22[SPEAKER_01]: Then we can go into next year's known.
- 42:23[SPEAKER_01]: We got to find we're still on the hunt.
- 42:25[SPEAKER_01]: I can't, I can't continue to watch this.
- 42:28[SPEAKER_01]: There's never been anything more obvious in my life that Dylan Gabriel's not NFL quarterback.
- 42:33[SPEAKER_04]: The reason why I don't expect to see Shador any time real soon, two things.
- 42:38[SPEAKER_04]: One, I mean, I've talked about this a ton.
- 42:39[SPEAKER_04]: Coachy Seth has shown no interest in
- 42:43[SPEAKER_04]: like not they they don't seem eager to get him in there they don't seem excited they even have him on the team.
- 42:48[SPEAKER_04]: That's just how it reads man that's just the vibe you get ever since he was drafted was like okay well I guess he's on the team but it doesn't mean we have to play him and the other thing is was I know it's Tony Rizzo but he was at a game what was it a few it was the home game couple weeks ago maybe in the Miami game and he came out and said I had two sources at the game and both sources confirmed.
- 43:07[SPEAKER_04]: The plan is for Shidorah Sanders to play the last four games of the season.
- 43:10[SPEAKER_04]: And if that is true, if the Browns have already established like Dillon Gabriel's going to play into the last four, and then we're going to give Shidorah that last four games, their Kevin Stephansky will not bench Dillon Gabriel before he has to.
- 43:21[SPEAKER_04]: Before the plan says this is when you're doing it, I firmly believe that.
- 43:25[SPEAKER_01]: I just don't think forza enough.
- 43:28[SPEAKER_01]: It's not, that's what I'm, yeah, that's what I'm mad about.
- 43:30[SPEAKER_01]: Why, why, why waste another game.
- 43:33[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I understand, you know, maybe there's a plan and you're gonna give this guy this much, but you already know, you don't need to waste more time.
- 43:41[SPEAKER_01]: Forza's not enough to see if she door,
- 43:44[SPEAKER_01]: Should or four could be enough.
- 43:46[SPEAKER_01]: We, you know what I mean?
- 43:46[SPEAKER_01]: Like one was enough.
- 43:48[SPEAKER_01]: I watched Dylan Gabriel one game.
- 43:49[SPEAKER_01]: I was like, okay, this is, this is not good.
- 43:51[SPEAKER_01]: There's nothing there.
- 43:53[SPEAKER_01]: I watched two games and I knew and then I watched three games and I knew before and now five games and now I know.
- 43:57[SPEAKER_01]: So four games could be enough.
- 43:59[SPEAKER_01]: But there's what if what if should or does show some juice?
- 44:03[SPEAKER_01]: And maybe he has some turnovers and it's not a super smooth operation, but it's like a little
- 44:11[SPEAKER_01]: He's showing like, maybe there's a little bit of something there.
- 44:14[SPEAKER_01]: Sure, it would be nice if he had four more games to kind of get a rhythm and kind of establish some connections with his receivers and stuff like that.
- 44:21[SPEAKER_01]: Instead of now we're going into the offseason going, well, he showed some things, can we, do we roll with our next year or do we, we don't know?
- 44:29[SPEAKER_01]: Like,
- 44:30[SPEAKER_01]: four could be enough if he's awful.
- 44:32[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think he's gonna be awful.
- 44:33[SPEAKER_01]: I think we're gonna be sitting there going wish we were to give him six wishing we would have given him seven and to me like that's the coaching now practice.
- 44:43[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, 100% because even what you're saying between the two guys, like we saw it in the preseason.
- 44:48[SPEAKER_04]: I know.
- 44:48[SPEAKER_04]: I know it's just preseason all that stuff, but you saw in the preseason that Dylan Gabriel could execute the offense efficiently enough whenever it was scripted or in the two minute drive whenever it was like, okay, you got to get this quick pass out.
- 45:01[SPEAKER_04]: It's got to go the sideline boom, boom, boom.
- 45:03[SPEAKER_04]: He could do that, but there was no place that made you think, oh, wow.
- 45:06[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, he can really make things happen.
- 45:09[SPEAKER_04]: when she doorplayed, you saw that.
- 45:11[SPEAKER_04]: Like you said, it wasn't as polished or as like under structure and all that stuff, but that's the NFL, the whole point of a NFL defense is to force the offense out of structure.
- 45:20[SPEAKER_04]: So you need a quarterback who can function out of structure.
- 45:24[SPEAKER_04]: And he did that in the preseason game.
- 45:26[SPEAKER_04]: Like he was able to move, navigate the pocket, step up, find new throwing windows and just layer those passes that we haven't, Dylan Gabriel has,
- 45:35[SPEAKER_04]: that he has no like, there's no variation of arm strength, speed, velocity, touch, anything like that is just, I see a guy open, I got to get it to him now.
- 45:44[SPEAKER_04]: And I got to put everything I have into it to get it there.
- 45:47[SPEAKER_04]: And it's usually three yards above the guy, two yards behind him, leading him right into the head of a defender.
- 45:54[SPEAKER_04]: It's terrible to watch, it's so hard.
- 45:58[SPEAKER_01]: Jack says, I wash the door and college, you can't play the way he did in college in the pros.
- 46:02[SPEAKER_01]: You don't have the time to run around and try to make plays.
- 46:05[SPEAKER_01]: I, I also watch Dylan Gabriel in college.
- 46:08[SPEAKER_01]: So the, and he played a whole lot of a lot.
- 46:10[SPEAKER_01]: So it's not like it's not a one to one thing.
- 46:12[SPEAKER_01]: And I get what you're saying.
- 46:13[SPEAKER_01]: Like he's going to have to play more on time.
- 46:15[SPEAKER_01]: He can't just run 20 arts backwards and try to make something out of nothing every single time.
- 46:20[SPEAKER_01]: My hope is that we have some of that out of him.
- 46:22[SPEAKER_01]: Hey, make a play when there's a play to be made, but also know when you just got to get down or you throw it away to see another down that kind of thing.
- 46:31[SPEAKER_01]: But what I'm saying is I will take his, if him learning those lessons also comes with throwing the ball down field, stretching the defense, making some plays, showing some energy to the offense, I will take the bad with the good because I think there's a chance there will be more good than bad.
- 46:49[SPEAKER_01]: And then maybe if he shows the juice and he shows there's something to build on, he is a young guy.
- 46:54[SPEAKER_01]: We coach it out of him and then you know, then we have all the
- 47:00[SPEAKER_01]: it's all bad and there's almost an even as good throws aren't good throws really they're super simple they're they take the hang in the air forever they they don't look good he looks unathletic he's missing wide open guys I've seen enough there's just there's nothing there
- 47:17[SPEAKER_04]: No, let's hear from, you know, let's hear from Stacey.
- 47:19[SPEAKER_03]: Hey guys, it's Stacey.
- 47:21[SPEAKER_03]: So a couple of things about this jet scheme.
- 47:23[SPEAKER_03]: After this game, if people don't realize that Dylan Gabriel is not the answer at quarterback, then I don't know what else they need to see like seriously.
- 47:32[SPEAKER_03]: This dude, he throws the ball, it just looks awkward.
- 47:35[SPEAKER_03]: Spare severs are bailing him out.
- 47:37[SPEAKER_03]: He's throwing it high, he's throwing it out of bounds.
- 47:40[SPEAKER_03]: the accuracy is just so awful.
- 47:43[SPEAKER_03]: I cannot bear to watch another game of him seriously.
- 47:46[SPEAKER_03]: So that being said though, if they are to bring in Shador, my only thing is is at this point in the season, I mean our guys checked out like it should or going to get the best out of these offensive players or are they already like
- 48:00[SPEAKER_03]: Screw this, the season's terrible, you know, so are we going to get a real evaluation of Shidorah quarterback or is it going to be tough with tough sledding with his offense and they're well to even want to win at this point.
- 48:15[SPEAKER_03]: Also, last thing I want to say is Tommy Reese calling plays.
- 48:19[SPEAKER_03]: He looked at some of them looked okay, but then the fourth and one call comes up and then we're running the ball running the ball We're doing the jet sweep.
- 48:27[SPEAKER_03]: That's working out great with Corley and then all of a sudden fourth and one and he wants to throw the ball With Dylan like it just doesn't make sense to me.
- 48:35[SPEAKER_03]: So I don't know.
- 48:36[SPEAKER_03]: We'll see how that goes go dogs
- 48:39[SPEAKER_04]: real quick, I want to go back to the point about, you know, Shador's way of playing college, won't work in the NFL.
- 48:45[SPEAKER_04]: It worked well enough in college that pretty much every draft analyst had him as a top five pick.
- 48:51[SPEAKER_04]: As ranked as either one or two quarter back in the entire draft.
- 48:54[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
- 48:55[SPEAKER_04]: So, you know, sometimes sometimes scouts and analysts get that kind of thing wrong, things Zach Wilson, right?
- 49:01[SPEAKER_04]: It did not work in the NFL.
- 49:03[SPEAKER_04]: He was not able to adapt, but sometimes it does work.
- 49:05[SPEAKER_04]: Lamar Jackson, people said he was going to have to be a
- 49:09[SPEAKER_04]: it worked.
- 49:10[SPEAKER_04]: He was able to adapt and, you know, mold his game, which players should or I don't know, but we need to find out.
- 49:16[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, exactly.
- 49:18[SPEAKER_01]: And his ceiling is so much higher than the Gabriel's.
- 49:21[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 49:21[SPEAKER_01]: It's not even close.
- 49:24[SPEAKER_01]: I think I want to address the she said, do I think players will be checked out by time should door comes in and it's going to be tough sledding with him.
- 49:32[SPEAKER_01]: I would like to think that if they believe in this guy.
- 49:35[SPEAKER_01]: Like it seems like a lot of the people on the team, they've always said good things about them like Denzel Ward and all these guys have talked about how much they like should or I'd like to think they'll want to go out and play for him and it'll be like an energizer and so I'm hoping that won't be an issue that it's like a hey they finally made the switch
- 49:52[SPEAKER_01]: this go.
- 49:52[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe we won't lose the locker room because if you didn't lose it today, it's on very, it's on the finished point.
- 49:59[SPEAKER_01]: It's like that eagle that sits on its nose on the little pointy thing.
- 50:04[SPEAKER_01]: So if you didn't lose it today, that's where you're at.
- 50:07[SPEAKER_01]: And if you continue to roll down Gabriel out there, it's going to be gone.
- 50:11[SPEAKER_01]: And then it's clean house time.
- 50:13[SPEAKER_01]: So it's just like,
- 50:16[SPEAKER_01]: I'm, I'm hoping they'll want to play for him.
- 50:18[SPEAKER_01]: Um, and that's not an issue.
- 50:20[SPEAKER_01]: And what was the second point she made?
- 50:24[SPEAKER_04]: I for him.
- 50:25[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I do too.
- 50:26[SPEAKER_01]: I apologize.
- 50:27[SPEAKER_01]: Some of our states.
- 50:29[SPEAKER_04]: Yes.
- 50:29[SPEAKER_04]: We got so many things going on up here.
- 50:31[SPEAKER_04]: Or the chats going on, stop.
- 50:32[SPEAKER_04]: I'm trying to keep up with the chat.
- 50:34[SPEAKER_04]: It is, it has been crazy.
- 50:35[SPEAKER_04]: You guys are awesome.
- 50:36[SPEAKER_04]: By the way, everybody in the chat, thank you for, first of all, for being here, following the show, watching the show, and then engaging like this.
- 50:41[SPEAKER_04]: Like you guys are awesome.
- 50:43[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, I did do a poll.
- 50:44[SPEAKER_04]: We got 444 votes on the poll.
- 50:46[SPEAKER_04]: I said should Kevin Stephanski be fired tomorrow and 88% people said yes.
- 50:50[SPEAKER_04]: So I guess that's where the majority of fans that were pissed off right now.
- 50:54[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, well, here's a very interesting today.
- 50:56[SPEAKER_01]: I will say this if you fire Kevin Stephanski.
- 50:59[SPEAKER_01]: The assistant had coaches above and Trump.
- 51:02[SPEAKER_01]: That is scarier, but that's really good.
- 51:05[SPEAKER_01]: maybe the worst unit out of the three like you can make the argument you know what you wish for but i'm at the point like i know a big of big thing people have been like if we fire kevin you're gonna lose shorts at this point like i've got to watch what i watch today
- 51:27[SPEAKER_01]: Just there they all got to go.
- 51:30[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, in my in my humble opinion even the defenses under performed the last two seasons It in some people get super pissed when I say that, but Like well, and you're not attracting any good head coaching candidates by saying hey Come you know come work for us.
- 51:47[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, by the way We're gonna tell you who your defensive coordinator has to be
- 51:50[SPEAKER_04]: Yes, you know, you got to let the code to the new coach higher his own staff.
- 51:54[SPEAKER_04]: So that's why when I say if I ever say like fire Kevin or fire a the I am I'm meaning fire everybody like the whole regime has got to pack their bags and get their losing ways out of here.
- 52:05[SPEAKER_04]: The thing real quick, I know a lot of people will say this to like the Browns have historically rushed rookie quarterbacks onto the field before they're ready.
- 52:12[SPEAKER_04]: Ruin them.
- 52:13[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, I know that's the whole thing like what quarterback are we going to ruin next year and all this kind of stuff.
- 52:17[SPEAKER_04]: The difference this year for me is that you know this season is gone.
- 52:21[SPEAKER_04]: It's lost and you already know that the first rookie you tried to put out there is clearly not it.
- 52:26[SPEAKER_04]: And it's not even a matter of him not being ready.
- 52:29[SPEAKER_04]: I just don't think he's capable.
- 52:31[SPEAKER_04]: Period.
- 52:31[SPEAKER_04]: There's no amount of time practice experience that's going to suddenly make him capable.
- 52:36[SPEAKER_04]: We need to see if Shador is because we've got those two first rompics next year.
- 52:39[SPEAKER_04]: If you're, I keep saying, if you're going to burn a first rompics next year, you better
- 52:46[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 52:48[SPEAKER_01]: Gage says prime, I don't know if he's talking about him being our next head coach.
- 52:52[SPEAKER_04]: That's probably what he means.
- 52:54[SPEAKER_01]: No, no, I don't want any of that.
- 52:57[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think his like what what makes him great in college, in a great, I don't drew still out.
- 53:06[SPEAKER_01]: It's not going to fly in an NFL rock, rock, rock, like they're not, he's good because he's good with the kids helping kids out, getting them to college, and showing them how to do things the right way and making young men, these are professional athletes.
- 53:23[SPEAKER_01]: It's completely different message to get people to buy in at that level.
- 53:27[SPEAKER_04]: see people saying give me John Groen like here's the thing that I want to put out there like my perspective on it.
- 53:33[SPEAKER_04]: I don't need a former bin there done that head coach in the NFL that's gotten fired and rehired and maybe fired again and reh- you know how else Pete Carroll working out as a recycle for the you know Raiders out there in Vegas.
- 53:46[SPEAKER_04]: I, the good head coaches in the NFL came in to their first side coaching job from a coordinator position.
- 53:53[SPEAKER_04]: It's just the, that's the way it works.
- 53:55[SPEAKER_04]: It's really difficult to recycle these guys and find a good one.
- 53:59[SPEAKER_04]: Like every now and then again, you'll be the chiefs and get an anti-read.
- 54:02[SPEAKER_04]: But that's it.
- 54:03[SPEAKER_04]: I've telling you right now, the Browns aren't in that position.
- 54:07[SPEAKER_01]: Neil Gray thank you for I think the third super chat bird.
- 54:10[SPEAKER_01]: I think so.
- 54:10[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah The Browns is dysfunctional because we don't have an alpha male player leader on the team Miles has to be like a Ray Lewis to call out his offense defense and even his coach of not being humble.
- 54:20[SPEAKER_01]: I will say this a ton of people
- 54:23[SPEAKER_01]: And some people were saying this today in the discord, so many people get mad because Kevin like doesn't yell in the screen.
- 54:31[SPEAKER_01]: He's not like a who raw guy or whatever.
- 54:34[SPEAKER_01]: If your coach has to be that, you're probably not very good.
- 54:37[SPEAKER_01]: Even Andrew Hawkins has said this on his podcast.
- 54:40[SPEAKER_01]: All of the best teams that these guys have played on and if you're an athlete you've ever played on, your leadership is player driven.
- 54:47[SPEAKER_01]: If your coach has to be that, you're not going to be very good because your coach is out there with you.
- 54:52[SPEAKER_01]: Your coach isn't lifting with you.
- 54:53[SPEAKER_01]: Your coach isn't doing the work on the field with you.
- 54:56[SPEAKER_01]: Like, they're there to get you to buy in, but you got, you have to have strong leadership in your locker room at the player level.
- 55:03[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if the Browns have had once in service landry.
- 55:09[SPEAKER_04]: Well, and if you're going to have that sort of a personality ahead coach,
- 55:14[SPEAKER_04]: I don't disagree that it would be nice to have some of that, but it has to be organic.
- 55:18[SPEAKER_04]: It has to be sincere and genuine.
- 55:19[SPEAKER_04]: It would not work with Kevin, because that's not who he is.
- 55:23[SPEAKER_04]: If you want that, you have to make sure that the person you hire is that, and it cannot come off in a way, because you gotta remember, this is completely different than college football.
- 55:30[SPEAKER_04]: This is the NFL's as pro.
- 55:32[SPEAKER_04]: These guys are all millionaire athletes, the best in the world, and they all have egos.
- 55:38[SPEAKER_04]: That's why it is so difficult navigating a locker room and like you've been saying with Kevin and this locker room, if you lose it, you are screwed because these guys, if you lose their respect, it's over because this is, you were all grown men here working our jobs, making money for our families in the NFL.
- 55:53[SPEAKER_04]: That's kind of the way it, you know, it works.
- 55:56[SPEAKER_04]: So if you lose the respect of those players, you really don't ever get it back.
- 56:01[SPEAKER_01]: No, and I just, like, I don't, I'm not, I like that Kevin doesn't get too high or too low.
- 56:08[SPEAKER_01]: I need somebody on my team to step up.
- 56:11[SPEAKER_01]: We don't have, there's no, who's the vocal leader of the Browns roster?
- 56:16[SPEAKER_01]: Like Miles?
- 56:17[SPEAKER_01]: Miles is a great player, but he's not really like that vocal leader kind of guy.
- 56:22[SPEAKER_01]: He just kind of goes out there and lets his play, play do it.
- 56:26[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I mean?
- 56:26[SPEAKER_01]: But he's not like a who raw guy.
- 56:28[SPEAKER_01]: We saw him get the team fired up a couple weeks ago against the dolphins, but I feel like there's been
- 56:35[SPEAKER_01]: Plenty of times where like miles has done things that it make are not he's not great leader.
- 56:40[SPEAKER_01]: He's a great player, which is fine.
- 56:42[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 56:42[SPEAKER_01]: He's the best.
- 56:43[SPEAKER_01]: He's the best of the best.
- 56:44[SPEAKER_01]: That's fine.
- 56:44[SPEAKER_01]: And that's what he is.
- 56:46[SPEAKER_01]: But like Jarvis was that guy who was like your lunch pale galvanized the locker room, give this speech, keep hold people in the locker room accountable.
- 56:55[SPEAKER_01]: We don't we don't we haven't had that since he left.
- 56:58[SPEAKER_01]: There's there's no there's none of that.
- 56:59[SPEAKER_01]: And if you're coach
- 57:04[SPEAKER_01]: And that's why so much of like our player acquisition, getting guys like Deshawn and Mike Hall and stuff.
- 57:15[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, you can't keep drafting people like this and then wonder why there's no accountability in your locker room.
- 57:22[SPEAKER_04]: So I was listening to Jake Burns, Browns Film Breakdown podcast the day after that party Podesta, that news came out that he was leaving.
- 57:31[SPEAKER_04]: And he was going back and looking at kind of like I did before two here on the show, some of the money ball stuff that Paul put into place, you know, in baseball and he said, you know, there's a, there's more of an emphasis on analytical things rather than the human side of football or the human side of the player.
- 57:51[SPEAKER_04]: So it's more, I think I forget the name that they used.
- 57:54[SPEAKER_04]: I think it was in Oakland with the athletics.
- 57:55[SPEAKER_04]: They brought in a player who was a, it was pretty much a bad locker room.
- 57:59[SPEAKER_04]: kind of guy, but he could get on base, he had a high on base percentage, so they didn't care about the locker room thing.
- 58:04[SPEAKER_04]: And in football, it's just so much different because it's, you got 11 people on your side of the ball trying to do everything at the same time and everybody had, it all has to work together, has to be cohesive.
- 58:13[SPEAKER_04]: And that goes all the way to the locker room, so when you bring in guys like to Sean Watson, you bring guys like Cadarius, Tony, or any of these other, you know,
- 58:22[SPEAKER_04]: People that have some of these off-field issues or locker room problems, you're looking at the analytics and completely removing the impact it's going to have on the people that are involved in the team.
- 58:33[SPEAKER_04]: And I agree with you 100% on that.
- 58:36[SPEAKER_01]: uh... somebody uh... in here it's your boy Oz says you don't know cuz you're not a locker i know because we what we can watch you can there's no accountability you don't need that to win yes you do pat my homes isn't that guy in the chiefs when i didn't say had to be your quarterback i'd say you need somebody on your team pat my homes out
- 58:53[SPEAKER_01]: 100% holds people accountable.
- 58:55[SPEAKER_01]: He takes it on himself all the time.
- 58:57[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 58:58[SPEAKER_01]: Josh Allen's not that guy.
- 58:59[SPEAKER_01]: Are you in that locker room?
- 59:01[SPEAKER_01]: How do you know?
- 59:02[SPEAKER_01]: Again, it doesn't have, I didn't say it has to be the quarterback.
- 59:05[SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't have to be your best player.
- 59:07[SPEAKER_01]: Somebody in that locker room has to be a guy who holds people accountable.
- 59:11[SPEAKER_01]: Who gets some people faces if they're late to meetings.
- 59:13[SPEAKER_01]: It can't just always be the coach.
- 59:15[SPEAKER_01]: Like that's,
- 59:16[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, players have, it's about, your players have to hold other players accountable, even going back to high school football, like, that's why the whole team runs, not just one guy, like, so, you know, then you'll beat the shit out of the guys, because for making the whole team run, like, yes.
- 59:34[SPEAKER_01]: I can't believe they said Pat Mahomes isn't that guy.
- 59:36[SPEAKER_04]: Anyway, I know.
- 59:37[SPEAKER_04]: Let's do voicemail from, hey, here's your boy, fake burns.
- 59:40[SPEAKER_10]: Hey, what's up?
- 59:41[SPEAKER_10]: It's Zach again, aka fake burns.
- 59:44[SPEAKER_10]: What Blake called me?
- 59:46[SPEAKER_10]: Um, but here after a brutal loss, um, against the jets who were terrible, absolutely terrible all year, not that we haven't been, but, um, not a good game at all.
- 59:57[SPEAKER_10]: Obviously,
- 1:00:01[SPEAKER_10]: ridiculous.
- 1:00:02[SPEAKER_10]: And on top of that, we lost because it's two middle school-like penalties.
- 1:00:08[SPEAKER_10]: Defense of holding at the end of the game for our first time on third down is ridiculous.
- 1:00:12[SPEAKER_10]: And then we jump off sides when the jets clearly aren't going to run a play and they're going to call a timeout with one second left on their play clock and give us the ball back.
- 1:00:20[SPEAKER_10]: But you know, we jumped anyway, even though everyone except for our defensive line could tell.
- 1:00:25[SPEAKER_10]: Doesn't feel good.
- 1:00:26[SPEAKER_10]: Does not feel good at all.
- 1:00:27[SPEAKER_10]: I don't think Gabriel is the answer either, as obviously, but I mean, I don't even care who the quarterback is at this point for the rest of the year.
- 1:00:36[SPEAKER_10]: Putster during, don't putster during, putster during for the final four games like you guys talked about.
- 1:00:40[SPEAKER_10]: Hell, give, just, let Gabriel write it out.
- 1:00:43[SPEAKER_10]: Let's shudder announce shudder as a starter.
- 1:00:45[SPEAKER_10]: The moment the season ends for the entire off season, give him an off season.
- 1:00:48[SPEAKER_10]: Let's see how he does next year.
- 1:00:50[SPEAKER_10]: Please, God, do not draft the quarterback in the first round.
- 1:00:52[SPEAKER_10]: I'm sorry.
- 1:00:53[SPEAKER_10]: I cannot take another quarterback on this theme that just doesn't work out.
- 1:00:57[SPEAKER_10]: Give me, give me cut cut.
- 1:00:58[SPEAKER_10]: This is give me literally anything else.
- 1:01:00[SPEAKER_10]: I just don't want to see another rookie quarterback next year.
- 1:01:02[SPEAKER_10]: Maybe we take one the following year.
- 1:01:04[SPEAKER_10]: I am fed up.
- 1:01:05[SPEAKER_10]: Go round.
- 1:01:06[SPEAKER_10]: Who, who?
- 1:01:09[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you.
- 1:01:11[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, I still don't believe it's not Jake.
- 1:01:15[SPEAKER_01]: The penalties won.
- 1:01:16[SPEAKER_01]: The defense of hoarding call, that was a trotace.
- 1:01:21[SPEAKER_01]: That was a such...
- 1:01:23[SPEAKER_01]: is mad as I am about the defense in the fourth quarter.
- 1:01:25[SPEAKER_01]: That was such a bad call.
- 1:01:27[SPEAKER_01]: One, they weren't even going to pass it.
- 1:01:29[SPEAKER_01]: And he touched, I mean, he like, maybe bumped him.
- 1:01:34[SPEAKER_01]: That was such a weak call to call in that moment that that was awful officiating.
- 1:01:39[SPEAKER_01]: The jumping off sides, this is where I want to see some some accountability, got that guy.
- 1:01:47[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what the rules are.
- 1:01:48[SPEAKER_01]: Cut them.
- 1:01:50[SPEAKER_01]: Like no, there's only 17 games.
- 1:01:53[SPEAKER_01]: You can't cost us a chance at winning a football game.
- 1:01:57[SPEAKER_01]: That has a chance to save my job as a coach.
- 1:02:01[SPEAKER_01]: uh... are the dumbest play of all time now he's going to say that exactly what i said about and reshmit week one and you said no no no no we got to give me a chance and are you glad i said are you glad i said no no no yeah that's why i'm saying you don't want to jump off-size it was chat Thomas right that here's the thing there's a big difference between missing a kick and not in watching the ball on the out in obvious obvious they were not calling i bet you didn't even have a play called
- 1:02:29[SPEAKER_04]: You don't play the way you lost, you know, you lose the game.
- 1:02:31[SPEAKER_04]: I still get more and about kicks because it's the only damn thing he has to do.
- 1:02:36[SPEAKER_01]: All you have to do on the defensive line is watch the ball.
- 1:02:38[SPEAKER_01]: I play that play.
- 1:02:40[SPEAKER_01]: I can say I never once jumped off sides.
- 1:02:45[SPEAKER_01]: and I didn't get paid millions of dollars to not do it.
- 1:02:48[SPEAKER_01]: That was, to me, that's a cutable offense.
- 1:02:51[SPEAKER_01]: Kicking, that'd be like missing a kick sucks, but you don't cut a player when they miss a free throw.
- 1:02:58[SPEAKER_01]: Like, especially, you know, it's a percentage thing.
- 1:03:01[SPEAKER_01]: He's gonna make more than he misses.
- 1:03:03[SPEAKER_01]: When somebody just has a mental mistake that literally cost you the chance to win the football game because they can't do the simplest thing.
- 1:03:10[SPEAKER_01]: There's not even a play going on.
- 1:03:11[SPEAKER_01]: It's just a mental mistake of just watching the football.
- 1:03:15[SPEAKER_01]: You want to send a message to the locker room?
- 1:03:17[SPEAKER_01]: That's cut that guy.
- 1:03:19[SPEAKER_01]: I would cut that guy.
- 1:03:24[SPEAKER_01]: Um, we had a super chat up here.
- 1:03:26[SPEAKER_01]: I don't want to forget these.
- 1:03:28[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, Jimmy Cleveland, we appreciate you.
- 1:03:30[SPEAKER_01]: He says, I'm here for Chador and became a fan of the Browns because of it, but it's clear they're tanking in front of our faces, just like they said, we're having a quarterback competition.
- 1:03:39[SPEAKER_01]: Um, I didn't think we were actively tanking, like I thought the jets were actively tanking.
- 1:03:44[SPEAKER_01]: I thought we were maybe not putting our best foot forward.
- 1:03:47[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, but I don't know if today was a tank job or if it was just a colossal failure.
- 1:03:53[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know.
- 1:03:53[SPEAKER_04]: I would say colossal failure, I'd be more on that side because we've seen several these colossal failures this year and this year and last year.
- 1:04:03[SPEAKER_04]: So I think that draft pick positioning just happens to be a benefit of the colossal failures rather than the goal of the team because like you said, the jets, their front office is not
- 1:04:16[SPEAKER_04]: I know you said it this way earlier.
- 1:04:18[SPEAKER_04]: I don't think any team tries to lose.
- 1:04:21[SPEAKER_04]: They're just not trying their best to win.
- 1:04:23[SPEAKER_04]: It's a little bit different.
- 1:04:26[SPEAKER_04]: The coach still goes out.
- 1:04:27[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, the coach still wants his record and his job to be good.
- 1:04:29[SPEAKER_04]: Like you said earlier, the players still got to put tape out there if they want to keep their jobs for years and years and years down the line.
- 1:04:35[SPEAKER_04]: So no player goes out there and gets their ass kicked and practice all week and puts their body on the line because they want to lose.
- 1:04:43[SPEAKER_04]: Now, the front office can put a bad product together to try not to win, which, hey, maybe it was with the Browns did on offense.
- 1:04:50[SPEAKER_04]: If that's the case, I want them gone to, like, I don't want a front office that thinks that way and is like, hey, this is acceptable.
- 1:04:56[SPEAKER_04]: This often says, it's got to be the worst thing assembled.
- 1:04:59[SPEAKER_04]: And I've seen a lot of people saying this is worse than the own 16, the one in 31 years.
- 1:05:04[SPEAKER_04]: And I feel that, man, like this feels worse.
- 1:05:13[SPEAKER_01]: We have two wins.
- 1:05:15[SPEAKER_01]: It feels worse because we had two seasons during that.
- 1:05:19[SPEAKER_04]: We had the thing is I think a lot of people are saying we have a defense that is good enough to keep us in pretty much any game.
- 1:05:27[SPEAKER_04]: Now they're better at home than on the road, but they'll still keep you in the games.
- 1:05:30[SPEAKER_04]: They've kept us in the games for the most part, at least up until half time for a lot of these.
- 1:05:35[SPEAKER_04]: Just there's always a way to lose and we always seem to find it.
- 1:05:40[SPEAKER_01]: Somebody said, and here you're ready to fire the special teams coordinator after one game, LOL.
- 1:05:45[SPEAKER_01]: It's not one game where you've been.
- 1:05:47[SPEAKER_04]: It's been, and the thing is the last coordinator sucked.
- 1:05:51[SPEAKER_04]: Special, what was it, pre-fer?
- 1:05:52[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 1:05:53[SPEAKER_04]: He was terrible.
- 1:05:54[SPEAKER_04]: I just, I don't know what's going on, man.
- 1:05:56[SPEAKER_04]: It's just, yeah, I've been, I've been saying firebubba early in the season.
- 1:06:01[SPEAKER_01]: Like Aaron Butler says, thank you Brown's coaches.
- 1:06:04[SPEAKER_01]: Thanks for playing Dylan Gabriel for his Baltimore Ravens.
- 1:06:06[SPEAKER_01]: You guys are appreciated.
- 1:06:08[SPEAKER_04]: You're welcome buddy.
- 1:06:09[SPEAKER_04]: You're a blood bath.
- 1:06:11[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:06:13[SPEAKER_01]: Just don't be in here next week talking crap.
- 1:06:14[SPEAKER_01]: We know we know Aaron.
- 1:06:16[SPEAKER_04]: He was in here talking crap before the show and I'm like, dude, if you think that we have any illusion that the Browns are going to somehow win next week or be competitive with the Ravens man.
- 1:06:24[SPEAKER_04]: You have not been watching the show.
- 1:06:25[SPEAKER_04]: Like you guys are going to do this.
- 1:06:27[SPEAKER_01]: It was fun going back and forth with you for a couple of years when we were like kind of trading blows with you guys, that ship is sailed.
- 1:06:33[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe you come back next year if things are different, we can go tip for tad again, but right now, like...
- 1:06:40[SPEAKER_01]: we know.
- 1:06:40[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:06:41[SPEAKER_01]: It's over.
- 1:06:42[SPEAKER_01]: Yep.
- 1:06:43[SPEAKER_01]: Do we have any more voicemails?
- 1:06:44[SPEAKER_01]: I don't remember how many we played.
- 1:06:45[SPEAKER_01]: Two more.
- 1:06:46[SPEAKER_01]: Let's do Nick.
- 1:06:47[SPEAKER_05]: Guys, Nick from San Diego.
- 1:06:49[SPEAKER_05]: Another week where the rounds were better than the other team on the stat line.
- 1:06:53[SPEAKER_05]: And obviously the score reflects otherwise.
- 1:06:56[SPEAKER_05]: It's time.
- 1:06:57[SPEAKER_05]: Gabriel, your opportunities done.
- 1:07:00[SPEAKER_05]: We come off a by-week and we just look terrible, offensively, defensively, special teams, all of it.
- 1:07:08[SPEAKER_05]: I don't understand how we can get two back-to-back penalties on 4th downs.
- 1:07:15[SPEAKER_05]: to give the Jets first downs and end the game.
- 1:07:17[SPEAKER_05]: This team lacks discipline, lacks direction, lacks everything.
- 1:07:22[SPEAKER_05]: At this point, we need to see what should or can do so that we can potentially go ahead and waste another draft pick on a quarterback because we have no idea what we're doing when it comes to the draft and draft and quarterbacks.
- 1:07:34[SPEAKER_05]: So I'll put you door in, see what we've got.
- 1:07:37[SPEAKER_05]: Hopefully he can do something and then we can finally get a wider receiver.
- 1:07:41[SPEAKER_05]: Number one wider receiver in the draft.
- 1:07:43[SPEAKER_05]: If not, start all over.
- 1:07:45[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know what's going on.
- 1:07:47[SPEAKER_05]: Browns being the Browns, but yeah, this sucks.
- 1:07:50[SPEAKER_05]: Well, on to next week, go Browns.
- 1:07:54[SPEAKER_01]: That's not the most brown things ever.
- 1:07:56[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, this team's killing me.
- 1:07:58[SPEAKER_01]: I'll see you guys next week.
- 1:08:00[SPEAKER_01]: Go Brown.
- 1:08:01[SPEAKER_04]: Why do I watch this crap?
- 1:08:02[SPEAKER_04]: Hey, don't do anything on Sunday.
- 1:08:04[SPEAKER_04]: I want to clock.
- 1:08:04[SPEAKER_04]: I got to watch it brown.
- 1:08:05[SPEAKER_04]: One next week is at 30, but is it Sunday yet?
- 1:08:08[SPEAKER_04]: Uh-huh.
- 1:08:09[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 1:08:09[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, it's at 430 next year.
- 1:08:10[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, dude, it's going to be, it's going to run up to like, as soon as the game's over, we're going to be doing the show.
- 1:08:15[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, man.
- 1:08:16[SPEAKER_01]: Well, that'll suck.
- 1:08:19[SPEAKER_01]: At least we do it this way.
- 1:08:20[SPEAKER_01]: I have a few hours to decompress.
- 1:08:22[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I know.
- 1:08:22[SPEAKER_04]: Go play with the kids.
- 1:08:23[SPEAKER_04]: I just have a little bit of fun.
- 1:08:24[SPEAKER_04]: See what life's all about.
- 1:08:26[SPEAKER_04]: We're just going to be angry.
- 1:08:29[SPEAKER_01]: There's a coming here.
- 1:08:33[SPEAKER_01]: How many years have we not had a good wide receiver course since 99.
- 1:08:36[SPEAKER_01]: Only when we had was Cooper AB can't draft wide receivers.
- 1:08:40[SPEAKER_01]: AB can't draft wide receivers.
- 1:08:42[SPEAKER_01]: Nobody in Cleveland has been able to.
- 1:08:45[SPEAKER_01]: We outside of like a handful of seasons since we've been back.
- 1:08:48[SPEAKER_01]: We just never had
- 1:08:50[SPEAKER_01]: playmakers.
- 1:08:51[SPEAKER_01]: It's like we're allergic to them.
- 1:08:52[SPEAKER_01]: And part of the problem is we're constantly chasing the all elusive franchise quarterback.
- 1:08:57[SPEAKER_01]: And until you have that, super tough to draft other positions, it's tough to build around anything when you don't have that guy.
- 1:09:04[SPEAKER_01]: But
- 1:09:05[SPEAKER_01]: Sure would be nice to just like have, you know, two or three really good wide receivers and it's like, oh, okay, that's just make a young quarterback or a veteran for, uh, for each and quarterback's life a little easier because they're throwing to NFL caliber wide receivers.
- 1:09:20[SPEAKER_01]: Not nobody's.
- 1:09:22[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:09:23[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I say, I won't get on the field anymore.
- 1:09:25[SPEAKER_01]: And for a stretch run this year, he was our wide receiver too.
- 1:09:29[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 1:09:29[SPEAKER_04]: Well, I mean, he was, he was, he was hurt today, but,
- 1:09:33[SPEAKER_04]: That's part of it.
- 1:09:34[SPEAKER_04]: Senator Tillman was hurt for how many weeks.
- 1:09:35[SPEAKER_04]: And it's like, I don't know, there's just nobody reliable this.
- 1:09:40[SPEAKER_04]: Plus when they're afraid to, I mean, when they're legitimately afraid to catch the ball.
- 1:09:44[SPEAKER_04]: Because
- 1:09:45[SPEAKER_04]: they know if I if I go and try to make a play on this pass, I'm getting murdered because my quarterback doesn't know how to throw pass.
- 1:09:51[SPEAKER_01]: There's a Jerry Judy play late in the game and it kind of what is like a maybe a 20 yard pass and it went off his hands a little bit and I'm like if you would have caught that, you'd have got to capitate it.
- 1:10:03[SPEAKER_01]: And most of the time, I'm like, you're going to get hit anyways, catch the ball.
- 1:10:07[SPEAKER_01]: But also if I'm, it's hard to think when I'm a wide receiver, like, I wish it's got quit doing this to me.
- 1:10:12[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, there's like once and you just need to make a play.
- 1:10:15[SPEAKER_04]: But if it's over and over and it's like every passive comes your way is potentially, I'm going to the ER after this.
- 1:10:21[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 1:10:24[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, all right.
- 1:10:26[SPEAKER_04]: Well, let's let's just go ahead and let's you got anything else we should probably wrap it up because we're running We had one more.
- 1:10:30[SPEAKER_04]: We do.
- 1:10:31[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, I can play it real quick.
- 1:10:32[SPEAKER_06]: What's up guys?
- 1:10:33[SPEAKER_06]: You're was a fan here in Jersey.
- 1:10:35[SPEAKER_06]: It's Justin again optimism gone.
- 1:10:38[SPEAKER_06]: If Shidorah Sanders is not in by next week
- 1:10:41[SPEAKER_06]: we just need to start rioting in front of the stadium.
- 1:10:44[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, this is absolutely absurd that we are going to lose to the one in seven chats after they literally just sold their two best players that they have.
- 1:10:52[SPEAKER_06]: Unbelievable.
- 1:10:54[SPEAKER_06]: But still, let's go Browns.
- 1:10:55[SPEAKER_06]: Woohoo.
- 1:10:58[SPEAKER_01]: It wasn't like completely agree.
- 1:10:59[SPEAKER_01]: I think I said in a text right after until she doors in, maybe I just check out.
- 1:11:06[SPEAKER_01]: There's no point.
- 1:11:07[SPEAKER_01]: There's just, there's no point.
- 1:11:08[SPEAKER_01]: I guess I'll watch so I can do these episodes with you guys, but other than that.
- 1:11:12[SPEAKER_04]: The episodes are all the same.
- 1:11:13[SPEAKER_04]: Offences, Dylan Gabriel can't throw the ball, stupid penalties, stupid mistakes, special teams blows.
- 1:11:20[SPEAKER_04]: There you go.
- 1:11:20[SPEAKER_04]: There's your episode every week.
- 1:11:22[SPEAKER_04]: It's like Kevin's press conference.
- 1:11:23[SPEAKER_04]: You know what it's going to be.
- 1:11:25[SPEAKER_04]: You know it by heart.
- 1:11:26[SPEAKER_01]: but.
- 1:11:28[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 1:11:28[SPEAKER_01]: Well, oh, we got one.
- 1:11:30[SPEAKER_01]: You guys are pros because I've recently just become a fan.
- 1:11:32[SPEAKER_01]: It's hard waiting till Sunday and then this.
- 1:11:35[SPEAKER_01]: Hey, man, you know, that James Franco meme where he's got the news around his neck and it says first time, huh?
- 1:11:40[SPEAKER_01]: That's like us.
- 1:11:42[SPEAKER_01]: Doing the.
- 1:11:42[SPEAKER_01]: I've been doing this since I was like three, four years old.
- 1:11:45[SPEAKER_01]: This isn't new to me.
- 1:11:47[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 1:11:48[SPEAKER_01]: I'm weathered.
- 1:11:49[SPEAKER_01]: I've built up a tough exterior to this.
- 1:11:52[SPEAKER_01]: This is just another Sunday during football season for me.
- 1:11:55[SPEAKER_01]: This is why God gave us the buck guys.
- 1:11:58[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, absolutely, and I know we sit here and we do things like, I mean, I can't believe we just lost to the jets, but then I think like Thursday, I was sitting here on the preview show saying, we could lose the jets.
- 1:12:08[SPEAKER_04]: Like, I mean, I know it's a possibility.
- 1:12:11[SPEAKER_04]: Well, definitely in the range of outcomes.
- 1:12:13[SPEAKER_01]: I'll never say I can't believe we lost to the jets because we've lost to them before in worse ways.
- 1:12:19[SPEAKER_01]: So, you know, we've lost, I've seen so many games where afterwards the entire internet is just like this is the first time anybody's done this since the turn of the century This is the first time anybody's lost in this way since a gladiator lost in the Coliseum in 1600 BC
- 1:12:45[SPEAKER_01]: It's, we're dead inside.
- 1:12:47[SPEAKER_01]: We're dead inside.
- 1:12:49[SPEAKER_01]: Um, but all right.

- 1:13:07[SPEAKER_01]: We, we greatly appreciate everybody being here watching us live on these Sunday nights.
- 1:13:11[SPEAKER_01]: Even when the Browns suck, you guys still show up for us and make the episodes fun.
- 1:13:14[SPEAKER_01]: So we appreciate that.
- 1:13:15[SPEAKER_01]: Again, Browns lose a tough one today.
- 1:13:18[SPEAKER_01]: They're going to keep losing tough ones.
- 1:13:19[SPEAKER_01]: Hopefully we'll see a quarterback change, but I doubt it.
- 1:13:22[SPEAKER_01]: Only a few more weeks, though, and I have a feeling we'll be talking about coaching changes and regime changes, so that'll be fun.
- 1:13:27[SPEAKER_01]: So, and we have the buck, I still.
- 1:13:30[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, screw class A.
- 1:13:33[SPEAKER_01]: That's what I want to say to get off here, and anybody who is
- 1:13:36[SPEAKER_01]: possibly throwing games for the guardians in the post season.
- 1:13:40[SPEAKER_01]: If it comes out of huge throwing games in the post season, give them the chair, public execution.
- 1:13:47[SPEAKER_01]: So now that's what I wanted to say right here, and we got the buck guys.
- 1:13:51[SPEAKER_01]: So Hank tight guys, season's almost done, we'll get to like we'll get to talk about the draft.
- 1:13:56[SPEAKER_01]: That'll be fun again.
- 1:13:57[SPEAKER_01]: So we appreciate you guys being here.
