- 0:01Carmen Lezeth: I don't know what happened.
- 0:04Rick Costa: What.
- 0:05Carmen Lezeth: Did you guys see it?
- 0:06Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, but then it went late, it kind of like paused yeah.
- 0:11Rick Costa: Got choppy sometimes it was choppy.
- 0:15Cynthia Ruiz: I wonder if last time you started the video and then you went live, because, remember, there's like a little gap before it starts counting.
- 0:22Cynthia Ruiz: Oh, so start the video first and then go live yeah all right that's not what I do again.
- 0:29Rick Costa: Let's be quiet, that's not what I do, though.
- 0:32Rick Costa: I hit the live button and then I immediately hit the button to go right away.
- 0:35Carmen Lezeth: No, no but I think cynthia's right.
- 0:37Carmen Lezeth: Last time I did the video first and then I hit the live button, so so okay, let's just see.
- 0:44Carmen Lezeth: Oh, somebody else is in the house, andrea.
- 0:47Carmen Lezeth: Hi Are you going to do this?
- 0:50Carmen Lezeth: You're going to do this, so we can.
- 0:54Andrea Nunez: Okay, hold on how are you, I'm okay.
- 1:00Andrea Nunez: Okay, yeah, no.
- 1:01Carmen Lezeth: It's not working.
- 1:02Carmen Lezeth: Your phone's not turning.
- 1:04Carmen Lezeth: Your phone is not.
- 1:08Rick Costa: Oh well.
- 1:08Andrea Nunez: Yeah, sorry, no can do.
- 1:13Carmen Lezeth: Hey Melanie, how are you yeah?
- 1:15Rick Costa: I only saw one second.
- 1:17Carmen Lezeth: Okay, so Melanie only saw one second of the intro.
- 1:20Carmen Lezeth: We're going to do it a different way in the future.
- 1:22Carmen Lezeth: I think Cynthia's right.
- 1:23Carmen Lezeth: I did it wrong this time.
- 1:24Carmen Lezeth: I did it Rick's way, whatever.
- 1:28Rick Costa: But if she only saw one second, then that means my way is better, because if you play the video first, that means she's even going to see less of the video.
- 1:39Carmen Lezeth: Okay, so let's not worry about it, I'm going to do it next week, I think.
- 1:42Carmen Lezeth: Cynthia's right.
- 1:42Carmen Lezeth: Last time we did it, we played the video first.
- 1:46Rick Costa: Oh, I forgot to put the pillow up.
- 1:48Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean.
- 1:48Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, see you don't.
- 1:49Carmen Lezeth: There's no love from you, rick.
- 1:51Carmen Lezeth: There's no love.
- 1:52Carmen Lezeth: Where's your pillow?
- 1:53Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, hidden back there.
- 1:55Carmen Lezeth: Hey, andrea, how you doing.
- 2:00Andrea Nunez: I'm good.
- 2:00Andrea Nunez: I'm good, I'm at soccer practice.
- 2:03Andrea Nunez: So if my background noise is bad, just let me know it's okay, she's frozen.
- 2:10Carmen Lezeth: I know you don't have to come on the show, girl, we love having you, but I know you with the kids doing soccer.
- 2:18Andrea Nunez: Well, we got in a fight, so I'm to stay in the car.
- 2:24Carmen Lezeth: Oh, Uh-oh, we got in a fight so I'm to stay in the car.
- 2:26Carmen Lezeth: Which godchild of mine is?
- 2:30Carmen Lezeth: Who do you?
- 2:31Andrea Nunez: think.
- 2:31Andrea Nunez: Who do you think?
- 2:32Andrea Nunez: Is it Natalia, I guess, obviously.
- 2:35Carmen Lezeth: Oh my.
- 2:36Andrea Nunez: God, yeah, no way, I mean, I can see her from here, but Okay.
- 2:43Carmen Lezeth: I have a question.
- 2:44Carmen Lezeth: She told you you have to stay in the car, um no?
- 2:48Andrea Nunez: There was a lot of silence and then some door slamming.
- 2:52Andrea Nunez: So I'm just gonna like let it ride For right now, and then we'll have our discussion when she comes back to the car.
- 2:59Carmen Lezeth: Okay, and how long is soccer practice?
- 3:03Carmen Lezeth: Uh?
- 3:05Andrea Nunez: Like an hour and a half.
- 3:06Andrea Nunez: Wow, I'm so glad I'm going to let her, get all that aggression out and then come back in and dart her up all over again.
- 3:18Carmen Lezeth: Oh my God, I thought as I got older I've said this so many times and I'm sorry I'm going to say it again.
- 3:23Carmen Lezeth: I thought as I got older I would said this so many times and I'm sorry I'm going to say it again.
- 3:25Carmen Lezeth: I thought as I got older I would regret the decision not to have children.
- 3:27Carmen Lezeth: But I have to tell you, as I get older, and every single day it is proven to me what a brilliant, magnificent, genius choice I made and never wanted to have.
- 3:37Carmen Lezeth: I love them, but it just never ends.
- 3:40Carmen Lezeth: You know, yeah, and I'm just godmother and auntie and I'm so over children right now.
- 3:48Carmen Lezeth: Love them, love them, but yeah, uh.
- 3:51Carmen Lezeth: So how are you doing, andrea, because we haven't seen you in a few weeks.
- 3:54Carmen Lezeth: I'm fine.
- 3:55Carmen Lezeth: Did you feel the earthquake in Malibu this morning?
- 3:59Andrea Nunez: um, you know, I was doing the dishes and I heard some like jangling or whatever and I just thought that it was like my phone pressing against the cabinet, so I didn't really feel anything.
- 4:10Carmen Lezeth: I'm just so I've been here 30 years, okay, and Rick, I just want to say you did not reach out.
- 4:15Carmen Lezeth: I didn't even know.
- 4:16Carmen Lezeth: I'm just letting you know who did reach out, though.
- 4:21Carmen Lezeth: Who was texting me?
- 4:23Carmen Lezeth: Carmen, I just got a.
- 4:25Carmen Lezeth: It touched my heart, though, cause she was like I just got a notification, there was an earthquake.
- 4:30Carmen Lezeth: I'm like she got a notification.
- 4:32Rick Costa: The one with all the merch.
- 4:35Carmen Lezeth: The one with all the merch over there, right, right, right.
- 4:37Carmen Lezeth: But can I tell you, I've been here 30 years.
- 4:40Carmen Lezeth: Nothing has ever fallen in any place.
- 4:45Carmen Lezeth: I've lived whenever we've had one of these, but it really was right in malibu and it was like four.
- 4:49Carmen Lezeth: You know, 4.7 ain't nothing for us, right, but I was so close to it and it was a rolling earthquake, so it was like for a little bit, those ones kind of like those, those are the fun ones I Because.
- 5:02Andrea Nunez: Then you're kind of like, ooh, ooh, you take over this.
- 5:05Andrea Nunez: You're like, ooh, is it going to be a big one?
- 5:08Andrea Nunez: Oh no.
- 5:12Carmen Lezeth: As she's washing the dishes.
- 5:13Carmen Lezeth: I'm over here trying to do my hair before I go to work.
- 5:18Carmen Lezeth: I'm like, ooh, it was so funny, but one of my pieces of art fell to the ground.
- 5:25Rick Costa: I was shocked.
- 5:28Carmen Lezeth: I was like oh no.
- 5:29Carmen Lezeth: Still wasn't that thrown by it.
- 5:33Carmen Lezeth: I was like, oh my God, like it was just, but that was for 30 years.
- 5:37Carmen Lezeth: Knock on wood, because you know, tonight we're going to be sleeping.
- 5:40Carmen Lezeth: Guess, I'm motherfucking big and I'm going to shut the fuck up.
- 5:43Cynthia Ruiz: You'll be like the guy next door.
- 5:44Cynthia Ruiz: What do you mean, the guy next door?
- 5:48Cynthia Ruiz: Didn't you say the guy next door was screaming my first earthquake?
- 5:52Carmen Lezeth: Because across the way, clearly we have new fucking neighbors who don't know how to shut their windows or realize other people live in the neighborhood and he's screaming oh, it's my first earthquake my first earthquake.
- 6:04Carmen Lezeth: I was like bring it down a notch.
- 6:07Carmen Lezeth: Newbie uh, melanie, a rolling.
- 6:12Carmen Lezeth: She's asking in the comments what a rolling earthquake is it?
- 6:15Carmen Lezeth: So there's.
- 6:16Carmen Lezeth: There's several different types of earthquakes, but one would be that and like that jerk kind of you're shook and it's like really quick and like everything moves and you're done.
- 6:27Carmen Lezeth: But a rolling earthquake feels more like a, like a big truck is driving by for a long time, like and I mean long time, like 20 seconds or something, and it's like rumbling.
- 6:40Carmen Lezeth: But it's like a big truck, 18 wheeler, that shouldn't be in your alleyway or something.
- 6:46Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean.
- 6:47Carmen Lezeth: Um, so it rolls and it goes for a little bit longer.
- 6:52Carmen Lezeth: I think that's the right definition.
- 6:53Carmen Lezeth: That's just my experience, andrea, you would know, cause you were born and raised here.
- 6:57Andrea Nunez: So Well, I wasn't born there, but yeah.
- 6:59Andrea Nunez: And then I went through the 93 earthquake, which was gnarly.
- 7:02Andrea Nunez: Wasn't that northridge?
- 7:04Andrea Nunez: That's northridge, right, that was in northridge and I lived in sherman oaks at the time and that was just.
- 7:10Andrea Nunez: That was the worst thing.
- 7:11Andrea Nunez: That's ever, the worst one I've ever felt.
- 7:13Andrea Nunez: It was violent, you know, extended, just shaking like this.
- 7:19Andrea Nunez: It was like you were in a snow globe and someone was doing this.
- 7:22Andrea Nunez: It was crazy.
- 7:23Andrea Nunez: Every single thing in our house broke, every single thing.
- 7:26Carmen Lezeth: Oh, my gosh yeah, and even where I live now, this place, which is usually pretty, again knock on wood, throw salt, spit wherever, do all the ugly things.
- 7:36Carmen Lezeth: Santa Monica is a pretty safe area supposedly, but this place got knocked out too, so it really was a disaster.
- 7:44Carmen Lezeth: Do we know how big was that earthquake?
- 7:47Carmen Lezeth: Was it like a 5, 9, or 7 or something, I think.
- 7:52Andrea Nunez: You know what?
- 7:52Andrea Nunez: I don't remember.
- 7:53Andrea Nunez: I think it was a 7.
- 7:55Carmen Lezeth: Let's ask Google, yeah, google, I don't know how big was the Northridge earthquake in California in 1993?
- 8:05Rick Costa: Might have been 1994.
- 8:09Rick Costa: , it was in January, hey, mario, 30 years ago today, the 1994.
- 8:14Carmen Lezeth: 6.7.
- 8:14Carmen Lezeth: I don't need you to read the whole fucking Wikipedia, page 6.7.
- 8:17Carmen Lezeth: And it says 30 years ago today.
- 8:20Carmen Lezeth: Hi Mario, Did I miss Mario?
- 8:23Rick Costa: It was in January what?
- 8:24Carmen Lezeth: What Andrea today hi?
- 8:26Andrea Nunez: mario, did I miss mario?
- 8:27Andrea Nunez: It was just in january.
- 8:28Andrea Nunez: What?
- 8:29Andrea Nunez: What?
- 8:29Andrea Nunez: Andrea?
- 8:29Andrea Nunez: I uh cynthia said that it that google was saying it was 30 years ago today, but it wasn't, it was in january and google said it was 30 years, but it was january.
- 8:40Carmen Lezeth: Yeah.
- 8:40Carmen Lezeth: So I'm like, okay, clearly not today, dumbass.
- 8:43Carmen Lezeth: But that's okay, google, listen, right we?
- 8:44Carmen Lezeth: Believe you it might have been 94.
- 8:47Carmen Lezeth: Now I think about it, but here's the thing it wasn't 94 because I, being a crazy person, after the big earthquake I was like I'm moving to LA and I want to live right in the area, right along the beach, where all is the best.
- 9:04Cynthia Ruiz: Thank you, mario let me say happy birthday to my grandson.
- 9:11Carmen Lezeth: Oh, happy birthday what did I miss?
- 9:12Carmen Lezeth: Oh, I said happy birthday on your facebook page right to yeah.
- 9:17Carmen Lezeth: Melanie said not sure how I would do in an earthquake I've never been through one.
- 9:21Carmen Lezeth: It really honestly, I mean I don't again don't want to say this because I don't want to jinx the joy I've had living here but I think it's worse with all the hurricanes and tornadoes and all the it's all that weird anticipation Like okay, we're going to have a snow front is coming in.
- 9:40Carmen Lezeth: You better lock down and go to the garage.
- 9:42Carmen Lezeth: Earthquakes don't't know, you just gonna happen.
- 9:44Carmen Lezeth: You're gonna be doing your thing, it's just gonna happen.
- 9:46Carmen Lezeth: You don't really have much time to prepare and and and it's not like in the movies again, please, the universe, the gods above, don't jinx my ass tonight.
- 9:57Carmen Lezeth: But it's just, it's just shaking and then it's over within what's the longest, andrea?
- 10:05Carmen Lezeth: Like 30 seconds I don't even know.
- 10:08Andrea Nunez: Yeah, I don't know.
- 10:09Andrea Nunez: I mean, sometimes they can go on for a while, but it's, it's over pretty quickly and most of them are no big deal.
- 10:17Andrea Nunez: It's just, you know, you get some big ones that are nasty, and you know.
- 10:21Carmen Lezeth: But usually that one that I was not here for go ahead I said usually it's kind of fun it is because you start to like, I started laughing because I was doing my hair, I was putting some oil in my hair and I was like, oh, because it was a rolling one.
- 10:39Carmen Lezeth: And then I had to hear you know, crazy person.
- 10:42Carmen Lezeth: And then I was like, oh, because I?
- 10:44Carmen Lezeth: I?
- 10:44Carmen Lezeth: Here's the thing again.
- 10:46Carmen Lezeth: I'm gonna bitch about my neighbors.
- 10:47Carmen Lezeth: These are new neighbors across the way, they're not my neighbors next door in my building.
- 10:51Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean.
- 10:52Carmen Lezeth: But they don't realize how loud they are and like, so they're screaming on their balconies at like six in the morning and they don't realize they're screaming, they're just talking.
- 11:02Carmen Lezeth: But other people are sleeping bitches.
- 11:04Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean.
- 11:05Carmen Lezeth: Like anyways, whatever.
- 11:06Carmen Lezeth: So alma just said I'd rather an earthquake than to be worried about hurricanes and tornadoes.
- 11:11Carmen Lezeth: Exactly, or the snowstorm thing freaks me out now.
- 11:16Rick Costa: Sorry cynthia, sorry rick a few months ago there was one in new jersey and we actually felt it up here.
- 11:22Rick Costa: But oh yeah, I thought somebody hit my house a car because I just heard boom.
- 11:26Rick Costa: I was like.
- 11:26Rick Costa: I got up, looked out the window.
- 11:28Rick Costa: There's nobody out there.
- 11:28Rick Costa: I'm like what was?
- 11:29Carmen Lezeth: that I didn't even know what it was.
- 11:31Carmen Lezeth: He had an earthquake.
- 11:31Carmen Lezeth: Oh, that's right, you told me.
- 11:33Carmen Lezeth: You text me yeah and it was like a 3.2 or something like that.
- 11:37Rick Costa: Yeah it was maybe.
- 11:40Carmen Lezeth: I was like please, I'm at work, no, I'm just kidding that was my first one.
- 11:46Andrea Nunez: Everybody comes out from their various wherever they're like.
- 11:49Andrea Nunez: Was that an earthquake?
- 11:50Andrea Nunez: Did you guys feel that?
- 11:53Carmen Lezeth: And then everyone goes back to work or does whatever they're doing, but initially we're all, like you, do that little hesitance to see if it was.
- 12:02Carmen Lezeth: And then, of course, you go and check your apps and you check like all your things, like I used to go on twitter, but I don't have twitter anymore, so I really didn't check my first got on twitter is from an earthquake because I was doing the like.
- 12:15Andrea Nunez: Was that an earthquake?
- 12:16Andrea Nunez: What was that?
- 12:16Andrea Nunez: You know, because we're all like am I there?
- 12:19Andrea Nunez: Was that an earth?
- 12:21Andrea Nunez: Yeah, yeah so I got on twitter because I was like, oh, and that's sort of what introduced me to couldn't even find it now if you wanted to the, the, the.
- 12:31Carmen Lezeth: Well, so many people have gotten off of twitter, some of the big companies, so I don't even know, but I'm sure that app is still on there.
- 12:37Carmen Lezeth: My app didn't go off until the earthquake went off.
- 12:41Carmen Lezeth: Usually it does it a few seconds beforehand.
- 12:43Carmen Lezeth: I don't know what they think I'm going to do a few seconds before Time to dive under the table.
- 12:51Carmen Lezeth: Well, here's the thing.
- 12:51Carmen Lezeth: It sounds the same as the Amber Alerts, so it really annoys me.
- 12:55Carmen Lezeth: No offense, I'm happy for the Amber Alerts because we want to always protect children.
- 13:00Carmen Lezeth: They want to get no fucking mail or anything.
- 13:02Carmen Lezeth: I'm just saying it's the same sound and so, and it's like alert, alert, alert.
- 13:08Carmen Lezeth: Um, and it's also the presidential alert.
- 13:11Carmen Lezeth: Remember we had that one presidential alert that time that when they tested it or whatever.
- 13:16Carmen Lezeth: It's that same sound, it's like scary or whatever.
- 13:19Carmen Lezeth: So, but mine didn't go off, so, and it's only a couple seconds before.
- 13:23Carmen Lezeth: Let me get the pictures off the wall.
- 13:26Carmen Lezeth: Hurry up, wait, I don't know, like I'm not going to get under my desk.
- 13:30Carmen Lezeth: I didn't even think about getting under my desk.
- 13:32Carmen Lezeth: That's the last place I want to be.
- 13:33Carmen Lezeth: I'd be claustrophobic, like I don't know.
- 13:36Carmen Lezeth: Okay, I'm the wrong person to talk about earthquake prevention.
- 13:42Andrea Nunez: Yeah, none of us are going to get up until we think it's a thing right, like we're all doing the thing where we're sitting around like something did I get up and then it's over.
- 13:53Andrea Nunez: Yeah, it's over, and if it's not, well okay.
- 13:57Andrea Nunez: Now everything's going to come down all over you, Right?
- 14:01Carmen Lezeth: I'm going to try to get out my house, but yeah, I don't know.
- 14:04Carmen Lezeth: Okay, I don't know, okay, I don't know why we're talking about this.
- 14:06Carmen Lezeth: I brought it up because there was an earthquake today in California and I just want to say thank you to my friends who all text me and other people who really don't give a shit but pretend to all the time.
- 14:17Carmen Lezeth: I did not know, I swear, I did not know Well here's the thing I love my family and friends back east because there will be like they'll get something.
- 14:28Carmen Lezeth: They'll see the news and it'll say, like wildfires ravaging blah, blah, blah California, and I'll get text messages, facebook messages.
- 14:36Carmen Lezeth: I'll get all these messages and I'm like it's like closer to San Francisco, but thanks for checking it.
- 14:42Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean.
- 14:43Carmen Lezeth: Like I had one friend who was like it would be really helpful, carmen, when something happens, if you do that thing on Facebook where it does the, you check in and say you're safe.
- 14:52Rick Costa: Mark yourself safe.
- 14:54Carmen Lezeth: Okay, I'm like I would, except it's six hours from me.
- 14:58Carmen Lezeth: Do you want me to just every day say I'm safe.
- 15:03Carmen Lezeth: Today, I don't know, People, california is huge.
- 15:11Carmen Lezeth: It's really really big.
- 15:12Carmen Lezeth: So you only have to worry about me if it's in like West LA, if it's in Los Angeles, malibu, santa Monica, venice, that area, and we don't care about Andrea because she doesn't live near me.
- 15:25Carmen Lezeth: She's like an hour from when are you again?
- 15:27Carmen Lezeth: In Castaic, santa Clarita?
- 15:29Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, santa Clarita.
- 15:32Carmen Lezeth: So she's far away from me.
- 15:33Carmen Lezeth: I don't even worry about her.
- 15:34Carmen Lezeth: You guys have more fires.
- 15:37Andrea Nunez: Yeah, there was a fire at Isabel's school just today.
- 15:40Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, wow yeah.
- 15:42Andrea Nunez: What do you do?
- 15:43Andrea Nunez: Earthquakes fires?
- 15:43Andrea Nunez: Yeah, Wow, yeah.
- 15:43Andrea Nunez: What do you do?
- 15:43Andrea Nunez: Earthquakes fires?
- 15:45Carmen Lezeth: We love firemen on this show we just want to bring them.
- 15:48Rick Costa: Oh boy, here we go again.
- 15:53Carmen Lezeth: We love firemen on this show.
- 15:55Carmen Lezeth: Shout out to the firemen, andrea's like, what's going on?
- 16:00Carmen Lezeth: I'll fill you in later.
- 16:01Cynthia Ruiz: Yeah, it's TV show I love a fireman, so that's great.
- 16:07Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, no, cynthia has me addicted to fireman shows and I've gone way off the deep end.
- 16:13Carmen Lezeth: Now I'm watching every first responder show that's ever been made now Like I'm addicted.
- 16:19Carmen Lezeth: So I wanted to also just give some love.
- 16:23Carmen Lezeth: A lot of you know that we lost James Earl Jones this past week, aka.
- 16:28Carmen Lezeth: I guess a lot of people know him as Darth Vader, the voice of Darth Vader, but of course he is and was a extremely talented and incredible actor of theater.
- 16:38Carmen Lezeth: He was also the voice of the Lion King I guess people know that, and CNN or whatever, but just an amazing presence, and on my Facebook page I posted a picture of me with him when I got to meet him, which is a whole other story of how that happened.
- 16:54Carmen Lezeth: And I want to give a shout out to Richard Kaler, who was the person who introduced me to one of my heroes.
- 16:59Carmen Lezeth: The other hero that I did get to meet I want to mention too was Maya Angelou.
- 17:03Carmen Lezeth: So I was thinking about this and I don't have a picture with me and Maya Angelou.
- 17:08Carmen Lezeth: I was thinking about how profound because it was such a big deal for me to meet James Earl Jones, and the reason why is for people who don't know I stuttered as a kid and people who do know know that I stutter now and, as I'm saying it, I'm trying not to.
- 17:25Carmen Lezeth: But that's what all the ahs are Like.
- 17:28Carmen Lezeth: You know you compensate with other ways and one of the things that was great about meeting him was he still stuttered into adulthood, you know, and it was part of his whole process and it's just magnificent to hear, to see someone who had a stuttering issue and not just overcome it, but you work through it and I knew who he was as a kid and it always become like kind of my hero back then.
- 17:53Carmen Lezeth: But I was wondering if there were any celebrities that you have, any of, you have ever met, that would be that changed your life or changed something about them or whatever.
- 18:04Carmen Lezeth: I sent you guys a little note about it.
- 18:06Carmen Lezeth: I don't know if you had any time to think about it at all, but Rick, did you.
- 18:12Rick Costa: I can't say I really met anybody famous.
- 18:15Rick Costa: To be honest, I haven't met anyone.
- 18:19Carmen Lezeth: What is with Cynthia?
- 18:20Carmen Lezeth: You asked me to send you stuff.
- 18:21Carmen Lezeth: Okay, I know, yeah.
- 18:22Carmen Lezeth: So Molly just saw a clip of James Earl Jones on Big Bang Theory.
- 18:24Carmen Lezeth: You asked me to send you stuff.
- 18:26Carmen Lezeth: Okay, and yeah, he was.
- 18:26Carmen Lezeth: So mine just saw a clip of James Earl Jones on big bang theory.
- 18:29Carmen Lezeth: Oh my God, he was so funny.
- 18:32Carmen Lezeth: I love that he did that.
- 18:33Carmen Lezeth: He did that when he was older too, and you've met some celebrities.
- 18:39Andrea Nunez: Yeah, yeah, I mean it wasn't any big deal though.
- 18:45Andrea Nunez: Okay, well, what did you?
- 18:47Andrea Nunez: I never, I never met anybody who I really really loved and respected their work or anything like that, or who said anything profound to me or did anything that you know, and and it was just casual meetings that were, you know, in the context of what you know, at a, at a music show or something like that.
- 19:08Andrea Nunez: So I don't have any of those kind of celebrity encounters and I don't think I would ever go up to someone.
- 19:15Andrea Nunez: I can't think of anyone who I would go and like talk to and say, hey, I love your, whatever.
- 19:21Andrea Nunez: That's just not something I would do.
- 19:23Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, I don't know what happened when I met James Earl Jones, but it's actually the opposite.
- 19:29Carmen Lezeth: So when I worked at a live action motion graphics company, we used to do a lot of commercials, and I think it's even true today.
- 19:37Carmen Lezeth: But a lot of celebrities do a lot of international commercials.
- 19:42Carmen Lezeth: So, you know, they make a lot of money internationally using their name, even if the commercial doesn't air here.
- 19:48Carmen Lezeth: So we would do commercials for, like American Express, we do commercials for, I don't know.
- 19:53Carmen Lezeth: We did, like the Super Bowl, we did a lot of different commercials and I handled at the time I was the controller of the company.
- 20:02Carmen Lezeth: I you know the company that I worked for.
- 20:03Carmen Lezeth: I was also a partner, but this was before then, but I basically was the money person.
- 20:08Carmen Lezeth: Okay, I never went on any shoot because I didn't need to be there Once the shoot is happening.
- 20:13Carmen Lezeth: My job was pretty much done.
- 20:15Carmen Lezeth: Long story short, when I found out that James Earl Jones was going to be doing a spot that we were working on for the history channel, um, um, I made sure that I talked to the executive producer and asked him if it'd be okay if I came on set.
- 20:31Carmen Lezeth: And of course it was kind of stupid because of course I can go on set, but I was like I'm just gonna be in the background, no big deal whatever, and so I stayed in the background.
- 20:38Carmen Lezeth: I didn't let anyone else know I was coming and I was just in the background watching him work and just in awe, because I was a little kid when I found out who he was and that he stuttered you know what I mean and it made me realize that stuttering wasn't going to be a hindrance, because here he was Darth Vader, you know what I mean.
- 20:57Carmen Lezeth: And there were other celebrities, that it was a school counselor who was showing me a chart of all these celebrities that had disabilities, like Whoopi Goldberg, had dyslexia, and you know what I mean and then he was the one that had the same thing I had.
- 21:10Carmen Lezeth: So I started just being kind of into him a little bit.
- 21:15Carmen Lezeth: So I was in the studio you know they were on set on studio and I was just in the background and they went to take a lunch break and all of a sudden he starts walking towards me with three or four of his people and I'm looking behind me because I'm thinking he's going to.
- 21:29Carmen Lezeth: You know, I'm trying to move out of the way and he reaches out his hand and he's like I am honored to always take a moment to meet the money lady, like he called me the money lady and I was shook and Richard was you're hearing me stutter now?
- 21:47Carmen Lezeth: Richard was kind of laughing because he had gone up to him and told him that I had been there all day and that he was a hero and that I never come on.
- 21:56Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean Told him whatever, and so I sat down with him and we had lunch and his hair and makeup person also was a stutter.
- 22:04Carmen Lezeth: We had this whole conversation about the process of stuttering and what it's like and you know how he.
- 22:11Carmen Lezeth: It was just amazing.
- 22:12Carmen Lezeth: And then I stayed there for the rest of the shoot and then we had dinner together and it was just awesome.
- 22:19Carmen Lezeth: It was like I would have never.
- 22:20Carmen Lezeth: I would have never.
- 22:21Carmen Lezeth: I mean, I've met and I've seen, especially because of where I live it's not even where I work, it's where I live.
- 22:29Carmen Lezeth: You can throw a rock and hit a celebrity and you might not know it, but you can, because they never look like what you think they're gonna look like.
- 22:37Carmen Lezeth: You know, um, and I've never been thrown or whatever, because you get used to it, you realize they're just regular people.
- 22:44Carmen Lezeth: You know.
- 22:45Carmen Lezeth: All right If you guys have never met, but who would you like to meet?
- 22:48Carmen Lezeth: Julia Roberts?
- 22:49Carmen Lezeth: I've never met her.
- 22:51Carmen Lezeth: Why would you like to meet her?
- 22:53Carmen Lezeth: I?
- 22:54Cynthia Ruiz: don't know.
- 22:54Cynthia Ruiz: I just feel like she's kind of down to earth.
- 22:56Cynthia Ruiz: Every time I see her, like in interviews and stuff like that, she's always so like, just so normal and just jokes around and stuff like that.
- 23:04Cynthia Ruiz: I think she'd be cool.
- 23:10Carmen Lezeth: What's your favorite movie she's been in?
- 23:13Carmen Lezeth: I'm just going to say Pretty Woman for me.
- 23:15Carmen Lezeth: I will always love that movie.
- 23:16Carmen Lezeth: I don't know how cheesy it is.
- 23:18Cynthia Ruiz: I said that's just a classic, it's my mom's favorite.
- 23:23Carmen Lezeth: Andrea, did you ever see Pretty Woman?
- 23:25Carmen Lezeth: I have a feeling she didn't.
- 23:26Carmen Lezeth: Yes, I did.
- 23:30Carmen Lezeth: You still haven't seen deal magnolias.
- 23:32Andrea Nunez: My favorite julia roberts movie, though, because it's like good for a cry yes, magnolias is good and what's the?
- 23:39Carmen Lezeth: one that she won the oscar for.
- 23:40Carmen Lezeth: What's the one that she won the oscar for?
- 23:42Carmen Lezeth: Oh, come on the one that she won the Oscar for.
- 23:44Carmen Lezeth: Oh, come on the one where she, yeah, yeah, yeah, where she fights the bad guys who are putting bad stuff into the soil.
- 23:51Cynthia Ruiz: Oh, Erin Brockovich.
- 23:54Carmen Lezeth: Erin Brockovich right, she won the Oscar for that.
- 23:56Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, Erin Brockovich.
- 23:58Cynthia Ruiz: I gotta say, though, there was another movie called August Osage County.
- 24:01Cynthia Ruiz: Her and Meryl Streep, oh yeah.
- 24:05Carmen Lezeth: Oh, my God, so good.
- 24:07Carmen Lezeth: Miss Pizza, that's right, it was the first movie I remember her in.
- 24:11Carmen Lezeth: She's been in a lot of good stuff, I just forget.
- 24:15Carmen Lezeth: I always think just about Pretty Woman because that was just such a fun movie and not that I would ever.
- 24:21Carmen Lezeth: It's one of my favorite lines that she does say, but it's not that I would.
- 24:25Carmen Lezeth: It's one of my favorite lines that she does say.
- 24:27Carmen Lezeth: But it's not that I want to be a prostitute and be picked up by a rich guy at all At all.
- 24:31Carmen Lezeth: But you do love that kind of story of like.
- 24:33Carmen Lezeth: You know her whole.
- 24:36Carmen Lezeth: It's that favorite line where she says it's not her, it's her friend.
- 24:40Carmen Lezeth: And they're at the patio, at the swimming patio area of the hotel, and julia roberts character says to her tell me, tell me one person it ever works out for, tell me one person.
- 24:55Carmen Lezeth: And her friend goes cinderella, the best ones, because she's contemplating staying and she knows she can't stay with them because dreams don't come true.
- 25:10Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean and I think one of the first things I did when I came out here.
- 25:14Carmen Lezeth: I mean I think you kind of have to do it.
- 25:15Carmen Lezeth: You go, look at all the places where they filmed Pretty Woman.
- 25:18Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, it's kind of cool, yeah, although Hollywood back then was really bad.
- 25:26Carmen Lezeth: It was like you did not want to be in Hollywood.
- 25:29Carmen Lezeth: But they've had a change, they've had a Renaissance or whatever, but that was a really bad area to hang out with.
- 25:35Rick Costa: So Like bad, how Dangerous, or like how do you mean bad?
- 25:39Carmen Lezeth: Oh yeah, dangerous, and prostitutes and drugs Really bad.
- 25:42Carmen Lezeth: But it's not like that anymore.
- 25:44Carmen Lezeth: They've had a revival or something I would say.
- 25:46Carmen Lezeth: I don't know, andrea may disagree, but it's just a better place now.
- 25:51Andrea Nunez: Yeah, it's more.
- 25:53Andrea Nunez: What's the word gentrified now?
- 25:54Andrea Nunez: Yeah.
- 25:56Cynthia Ruiz: I mean yeah.
- 25:57Andrea Nunez: There are parts of it that were definitely bad, for sure.
- 26:01Carmen Lezeth: Okay, Rick.
- 26:09Rick Costa: Probably pretty much anybody from Star Trek trek, as corny as that sounds.
- 26:11Rick Costa: Um, if I had to pick one, if I had to pick one person, I know you're probably gonna think you think a marina no, I do not, because we're talking about your romantic dreams.
- 26:18Rick Costa: We're talking about inspiration I would probably want to talk to, uh, sir patrick stewart, because not only was he picard, but he was also xavier in the x-men movies.
- 26:28Rick Costa: I'm like two loves of mine.
- 26:30Rick Costa: So, yeah, and just I feel like he's got I mean not trying to say he's super old, but he is but he got a lot of wisdom and I'd love to, you know, have a chat and talk to him.
- 26:38Rick Costa: That would be cool.
- 26:38Rick Costa: I think it was andrea who bummed me out about patrick stewart I think it.
- 26:40Carmen Lezeth: I think it was you who bummed me out about Patrick Stewart.
- 26:43Carmen Lezeth: I think it was you, andrea, who told me he.
- 26:45Carmen Lezeth: Maybe it wasn't you, because why would you know this?
- 26:47Carmen Lezeth: You're not really a gossipy kind of person but he like married his makeup artist, who's like 40 years younger than him, and I was like, and I'm done, I'm so done.
- 26:55Carmen Lezeth: I was so annoyed I don't know why it bothers me so much, but I was like I just had more faith in you.
- 27:01Carmen Lezeth: He.
- 27:01Carmen Lezeth: But I was like I just had more faith in you.
- 27:02Carmen Lezeth: He's like, how old is he?
- 27:03Carmen Lezeth: He's like in his 80s or something, right.
- 27:07Carmen Lezeth: I say more power to you, sir, I know, I know I should be happy for him, but I don't know, I don't know why it bothers me.
- 27:17Carmen Lezeth: I'm very I don't know.
- 27:19Carmen Lezeth: I don't know what I'm trying to say.
- 27:30Andrea Nunez: Andrea, give us one celebrity you would bother to talk to if they forced you to.
- 27:36Andrea Nunez: I had to think about this for a minute, but Jane Fonda would probably be mine.
- 27:41Rick Costa: She's lived an interesting life.
- 27:44Andrea Nunez: She seems like a good.
- 27:46Andrea Nunez: It'd be a great conversation, right?
- 27:48Andrea Nunez: She could talk about anything funny, smart.
- 27:55Carmen Lezeth: I'd like to meet them both together Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin.
- 27:56Carmen Lezeth: That would be hilarious to have.
- 27:57Andrea Nunez: Yes, absolutely Love them both.
- 28:00Andrea Nunez: That would be super fun.
- 28:01Andrea Nunez: That would be so cool, wow.
- 28:04Carmen Lezeth: So I guess we're're gonna get off of this topic because you guys aren't really fun about it.
- 28:08Carmen Lezeth: So do you guys have a favorite james jones movie?
- 28:14Carmen Lezeth: Or you guys don't even?
- 28:15Carmen Lezeth: I mean, I know andrea is going to watch field of dreams in honor of him.
- 28:19Carmen Lezeth: Finally, look at her, come on.
- 28:25Cynthia Ruiz: Come on, she's on the field right now.
- 28:30Rick Costa: James would want you to.
- 28:38Andrea Nunez: Now, it's just a thing that, because I want you to you're never going to do it Kind of yeah, look at me, look at me.
- 28:53Carmen Lezeth: Come on, look at me, look at me come on, I just have less than zero interest.
- 28:54Carmen Lezeth: Like, there's just I, I just have no interest at all.
- 28:56Carmen Lezeth: I'm just gonna bring up, okay, all right.
- 28:56Carmen Lezeth: Okay, you don't have to watch that.
- 28:57Carmen Lezeth: How about?
- 28:57Carmen Lezeth: Et?
- 28:57Carmen Lezeth: Oh, fuck, carmen.
- 29:02Carmen Lezeth: Um, I'm just needling this going to be our thing from now on.
- 29:06Andrea Nunez: It never wasn't our thing.
- 29:08Andrea Nunez: It's always been a thing.
- 29:09Andrea Nunez: Yeah, I don't think I will watch ET.
- 29:12Andrea Nunez: No, I don't think I will.
- 29:14Andrea Nunez: I've gone this long, I don't think I need to see it.
- 29:18Carmen Lezeth: I'm just saying my deathbed.
- 29:20Carmen Lezeth: That's when she'll watch it, maybe.
- 29:23Carmen Lezeth: Great thanks, yeah, whatever.
- 29:24Carmen Lezeth: Anyway, what's going on with you guys?
- 29:25Carmen Lezeth: I'm done Deathbed.
- 29:26Carmen Lezeth: That's when she'll watch it, maybe.
- 29:27Carmen Lezeth: Great Thanks, yeah, whatever.
- 29:28Carmen Lezeth: Anyway, what's going on with you guys?
- 29:29Carmen Lezeth: I'm done with my list.
- 29:31Rick Costa: Karma's going to die and in her will she's going to be like I give this to Andrea but she's got to watch Feel the Dreams and she's like, nope, I'm still not going to watch it.
- 29:38Carmen Lezeth: Right, you will get one million dollars.
- 29:41Carmen Lezeth: However, you must Publicly Get $1 million.
- 29:44Andrea Nunez: However, publicly want view, publicly, yeah right.
- 29:48Carmen Lezeth: Exactly.
- 29:49Carmen Lezeth: You know what, though I actually don't think you would like field of dreams.
- 29:53Carmen Lezeth: That's the irony of it.
- 29:55Cynthia Ruiz: Nor do.
- 29:55Carmen Lezeth: I, yeah, but I'm just saying if you loved something so much and I knew that you love something so much, I would watch it just to understand my friend better.
- 30:06Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean.
- 30:07Carmen Lezeth: I'm just saying I would do that for you because that's the kind of person I am.
- 30:11Carmen Lezeth: I wouldn't have to though.
- 30:13Carmen Lezeth: You wouldn't have to, because I would have already done it, so we could have a conversation about it.
- 30:20Carmen Lezeth: You see what I mean.
- 30:20Carmen Lezeth: Like that's why there's nothing for you to ask for, because my side of the friendship is like that.
- 30:26Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean.
- 30:27Carmen Lezeth: Okay, got it.
- 30:30Carmen Lezeth: Andrea and I end up.
- 30:31Carmen Lezeth: We're going to talk again after this show.
- 30:33Carmen Lezeth: I just want to let you all know this is the end of our.
- 30:35Carmen Lezeth: How long have we known each other?
- 30:39Andrea Nunez: it's just been a few years, right right.
- 30:44Carmen Lezeth: No, but we've not.
- 30:44Carmen Lezeth: Okay, I got here in 1990.
- 30:47Carmen Lezeth: It's been 30 years, but when did I meet you Like 96?
- 30:52Andrea Nunez: Would have been probably 97.
- 30:55Carmen Lezeth: You worked for that lady, that lady who said I was not a professional bookkeeper.
- 31:00Andrea Nunez: You hired me to work for that lady.
- 31:03Andrea Nunez: That's right, it was 97.
- 31:06Carmen Lezeth: 97 all right, I can't believe we've been friends this long, because it's kind of weird.
- 31:12Carmen Lezeth: And then, cynthia, you've met andrea, don't you think it's weird that we're friends?
- 31:17Andrea Nunez: no, why is it weird that we're friends?
- 31:19Andrea Nunez: What is?
- 31:19Carmen Lezeth: that conversation all right.
- 31:21Carmen Lezeth: Darcy said kevin Costner ain't good looking.
- 31:25Carmen Lezeth: I don't know if it's about Kevin Costner, though.
- 31:29Carmen Lezeth: He's not my type.
- 31:30Carmen Lezeth: I know people think Kevin Costner's hot, but there's only one movie that I watched.
- 31:36Carmen Lezeth: I mean I'll watch a movie with Kevin Costner in it because I don't mind.
- 31:40Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean.
- 31:41Carmen Lezeth: Like I like him, I think he's fine, it's not a big deal, but the movie that I think was his best movie ever is no way out.
- 31:49Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, right, is that what?
- 31:55Andrea Nunez: you were mouthing.
- 31:55Andrea Nunez: No, that's a great movie.
- 31:57Andrea Nunez: I just watched that, maybe like six months ago the first time.
- 32:01Andrea Nunez: Oh, no, no, no, like I just was thinking about it, and I watched it again like yep, still a great movie yeah.
- 32:08Carmen Lezeth: So if anyone is a kevin costner fan, the movie you want to see is no way out, and I think it's one of his first movies.
- 32:14Carmen Lezeth: So good, when did it come out?
- 32:17Carmen Lezeth: Oh, when did it come out, I don't know, 1980, or something no it's.
- 32:23Andrea Nunez: I think it's from the 90s, like early, early 90s or maybe late 80s.
- 32:28Carmen Lezeth: Hey, google when did the movie with kevin costner come out?
- 32:32Carmen Lezeth: Called no way out in the united states of america 1987.
- 32:38Rick Costa: I don't need the whole thing, just 1987 is that the one where he's like a government spy or not a spy, or something like that?
- 32:48Carmen Lezeth: No, why are you giving it away?
- 32:49Carmen Lezeth: Why are you giving it away?
- 32:50Carmen Lezeth: He's a naval officer.
- 32:54Carmen Lezeth: He ain't no spy, oh okay.
- 32:57Rick Costa: I'm trying to remember.
- 32:58Andrea Nunez: He works at the Pentagon and that's all we're going to say I think I did see that.
- 33:05Carmen Lezeth: Rick just ruined the movie for anyone, nobody has to watch it now.
- 33:09Andrea Nunez: Sorry everyone, Nobody has to watch it.
- 33:14Carmen Lezeth: Okay, so what I've learned today in our show is never talk to Rick about movies.
- 33:20Rick Costa: Just call me Rick Spoiler Costa.
- 33:22Carmen Lezeth: No, no, no, Actually he's not really a spy.
- 33:27Andrea Nunez: uh, he's not he's trying to find a spy he's trying to find a spy.
- 33:32Carmen Lezeth: That's right.
- 33:33Carmen Lezeth: Okay, that's all you gave away, rick.
- 33:34Rick Costa: That's all yeah okay, I was just trying to figure out if I saw it because I was, like it sounds, familiar.
- 33:38Andrea Nunez: I wasn't sure that's enough.
- 33:43Carmen Lezeth: Okay, so that's our favorite Kevin Costner movie.
- 33:46Carmen Lezeth: Anyone else have a favorite Kevin Costner movie?
- 33:50Rick Costa: I mean I did like him in Field of Dreams.
- 33:51Rick Costa: I gotta lie.
- 33:52Carmen Lezeth: Field of Dreams was so good and James Earl Jones.
- 33:54Carmen Lezeth: I really liked him in Field of Dreams too, yeah but it really was a Kevin Costner movie, for sure, and Timothy Busfield, who's from 30-something.
- 34:03Carmen Lezeth: Okay, andrea, you don't remember the show.
- 34:05Andrea Nunez: 30 something I remember that show never want.
- 34:08Andrea Nunez: I mean, I watched like a quarter of an episode maybe okay, well, anyway, timothy busfield is also.
- 34:13Carmen Lezeth: He's the.
- 34:14Carmen Lezeth: He's the person, rick on the in the movie field of dreams, who's trying to convince kevin costner to sell the field okay with the red hair and the beard.
- 34:23Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, he's a pretty famous actor actually.
- 34:25Carmen Lezeth: But it's okay, Cynthia favorite Kevin Costner movie, no idea Waterworld.
- 34:33Cynthia Ruiz: You know, I never saw that.
- 34:34Cynthia Ruiz: No one did.
- 34:37Cynthia Ruiz: Clearly, Honestly, I've never seen Field of Dreams either.
- 34:44Carmen Lezeth: It's all right, you don't have to, I don't expect you to.
- 34:45Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, look at that.
- 34:48Carmen Lezeth: I'll tell you the thing about field of dreams.
- 34:53Carmen Lezeth: I'm gonna, I'm gonna say this it's so, it's such an intellectual, the reason why I think you would like it in jails because it's an intellectual movie.
- 35:00Carmen Lezeth: It's not really a movie about baseball.
- 35:02Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean.
- 35:03Carmen Lezeth: Okay, like the movie 42 was about baseball.
- 35:04Carmen Lezeth: To me, right, jackie robinson, whatever, it's not really a movie about baseball.
- 35:05Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean?
- 35:05Carmen Lezeth: Okay, like the movie 42 was about baseball.
- 35:07Carmen Lezeth: To me, right, jackie robinson, whatever it's like.
- 35:09Carmen Lezeth: It was such a good movie.
- 35:10Carmen Lezeth: And also, uh, chadwick boseman is that how you say his name?
- 35:14Carmen Lezeth: the late great yeah, uh, play jackie robinson.
- 35:17Carmen Lezeth: It's a great movie, but it's about baseball and about race and you know what I mean, what was going on back then and stuff.
- 35:24Carmen Lezeth: But Field of Dreams is it's not to me, it's not about baseball at all.
- 35:31Rick Costa: No, I think it's what brings people together, but it's not about baseball.
- 35:37Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, I mean, I guess if you're a baseball fan and understand what happened to the black socks or whatever, it is the white socks I don't even know what the whole thing is like you know it's purple socks, whatever it's like, and that adds like a whole other layer to it.
- 35:52Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean?
- 35:52Carmen Lezeth: Um, shoeless joe jackson, like I get kind of the whole thing, how he was disgraced and whatever, blah, blah.
- 35:58Carmen Lezeth: But I don't, that's to me.
- 36:01Carmen Lezeth: That's not what the movie is about.
- 36:02Carmen Lezeth: It's about you searching for yourself, and that's kind of what I see it.
- 36:06Carmen Lezeth: As you know, kevin Costner is dealing with demons, as we all do, and then he, you know, here's a voice, and then he keeps trying to pursue what that voice is about.
- 36:15Carmen Lezeth: But for me I don't know about you, rick, but for me it was about, like you know, trying to find who you are in the world you know, and all the connections and all the things that matter to you and the people that matter to you, and why it's a very deep intellectual movie.
- 36:31Carmen Lezeth: I don't think Andrea could probably handle it, which is probably why she doesn't.
- 36:34Carmen Lezeth: I'm going to use reverse psychology now.
- 36:36Carmen Lezeth: That's probably why she don't want to watch it, because it's too deep and shit.
- 36:39Carmen Lezeth: Okay.
- 36:43Rick Costa: Yeah, that's me action, yeah yeah, um darcy said she likes him in the bodyguard okay, I'm gonna say this.
- 36:53Carmen Lezeth: This is not a popular opinion.
- 36:54Carmen Lezeth: I love whitney houston with all my heart.
- 36:58Carmen Lezeth: I do and I'm I'm gonna get backlash for this, but I really hated watching her in that because she was such a bad actress.
- 37:06Carmen Lezeth: It was just so hard.
- 37:07Carmen Lezeth: It was so hard.
- 37:08Carmen Lezeth: And the thing about Kevin Costner was he told her don't worry about it, I'll help you with the acting or whatever.
- 37:14Carmen Lezeth: And he should have gotten her an acting coach.
- 37:16Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean.
- 37:18Carmen Lezeth: And she basically played herself, which makes it harder for me to be okay with it.
- 37:25Carmen Lezeth: I'm a stickler for it.
- 37:28Carmen Lezeth: Did you guys see the Bodyguard?
- 37:30Rick Costa: I agree, she played herself.
- 37:33Carmen Lezeth: Did you like it?
- 37:37Rick Costa: It was alright.
- 37:38Andrea Nunez: I didn't hate it.
- 37:40Carmen Lezeth: I never need to see it again.
- 37:41Carmen Lezeth: And that's how you can tell.
- 37:42Carmen Lezeth: I don't care.
- 37:43Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean, hi Daniel.
- 37:44Carmen Lezeth: Hi Daniel, is Daniel one of your people?
- 37:48Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, hi Daniel.
- 37:51Carmen Lezeth: I guess he said hi Rick.
- 37:54Rick Costa: So there's Carmen and Cynthia and Andrea also.
- 37:57Rick Costa: You can say hi to them too.
- 37:58Rick Costa: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 38:01Carmen Lezeth: So how was your guys week, by the way, should probably ask.
- 38:04Carmen Lezeth: I mean, I hate talking about work.
- 38:05Carmen Lezeth: I went out to dinner last night with a guy from work and I was like, oh, I said I called you, right, rick, didn't I?
- 38:11Carmen Lezeth: I was waiting outside the restaurant or whatever anyways.
- 38:14Carmen Lezeth: So I called rick because I was waiting, because the restaurant I'm not gonna say the name of the restaurant but the restaurant wouldn't seat me until my partner got there, which which I have to tell you, restaurants, it pisses me off because I got there early so I can have a couple of fucking drinks before he got there, cause he doesn't drink.
- 38:32Carmen Lezeth: So, um, so I was outside, so I called Rick or I, whatever, and we were talking and then, uh, he showed up and stuff, but it was a really we didn't talk about work at all.
- 38:43Carmen Lezeth: It was an awesome dinner, it was so much fun and I'm just I it was a a great thing to cap off what has already been a really hard week for me.
- 38:53Carmen Lezeth: So, rick, what?
- 38:53Carmen Lezeth: How was your week this week?
- 38:55Rick Costa: not too bad.
- 38:56Rick Costa: It's work's been pretty laid back and slow for a change, which is nice, so yeah yeah, andrea, are you in kansas, arkansas?
- 39:07Carmen Lezeth: no?
- 39:08Andrea Nunez: no, no, no.
- 39:09Andrea Nunez: Uh, my hard drive on my computer failed and I've lost all of my everything.
- 39:16Andrea Nunez: So that's how my week went, and no, I didn't.
- 39:21Andrea Nunez: I hadn't backed it up in like a year.
- 39:22Andrea Nunez: I know that's the kind of person I am.
- 39:24Carmen Lezeth: No, no, I'm not going to say anything about backing it up.
- 39:26Carmen Lezeth: I don't think anyone backs up anymore.
- 39:29Carmen Lezeth: Don't you have a cloud?
- 39:31Andrea Nunez: I don't put stuff on the cloud.
- 39:33Andrea Nunez: I mean I put some things, but other things I don't.
- 39:35Andrea Nunez: You know what I mean.
- 39:36Andrea Nunez: I'm not organized like that Are you a Mac person?
- 39:42Carmen Lezeth: Are you a Mac person?
- 39:46Andrea Nunez: They have the most secure cloud service, I know, but I use.
- 39:50Andrea Nunez: For most of my documents I use Word Office, microsoft Office, whatever.
- 40:01Carmen Lezeth: No, I'm just going to let you know in the future, because that's what happened to me and made me change how I do stuff.
- 40:05Carmen Lezeth: It's the same exact thing that happened.
- 40:07Carmen Lezeth: It just happened 10 years ago.
- 40:08Carmen Lezeth: But I have OneDrive, so I wouldn't use Google Drive.
- 40:15Carmen Lezeth: I mean, I know Google Drive is also an option, but I use OneDrive because it's a separate thing from all my personal stuff, but it automatically backs up every night and it's just.
- 40:24Carmen Lezeth: Everything is housed in the cloud, so even when you buy a new computer, you don't have to worry about it, because you just plug it in and then it downloads.
- 40:32Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean?
- 40:32Carmen Lezeth: It's just, but you might want to think about that but, yeah I have one drive.
- 40:37Andrea Nunez: I just don't use it, so I do need to rethink how I do my thing and there's like personal vaults, like.
- 40:44Carmen Lezeth: So people can't really access anything unless they know your personal, you know password, and also they ask you all those security questions and the double verification.
- 40:54Carmen Lezeth: And I'm like, baby, if you have gotten all that information, steal what you can, they're yours, but go ahead and knock yourself out.
- 41:06Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean.
- 41:06Carmen Lezeth: So I'm like I finally got over that whole idea because I was so worried what if I have everything in the cloud?
- 41:11Carmen Lezeth: Most of our stuff is already on the web.
- 41:13Carmen Lezeth: It's already out there.
- 41:15Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean.
- 41:16Carmen Lezeth: So, yeah, so I use a combination of google drive and one drive.
- 41:20Carmen Lezeth: Google drive is mostly work stuff, so all my clients have their own drive on google.
- 41:25Carmen Lezeth: They pay for it.
- 41:26Carmen Lezeth: I do not.
- 41:27Carmen Lezeth: Okay, that's the other thing you want to do.
- 41:29Carmen Lezeth: And, um, and that way, when I quit, all I do is give a password and they can have all their shit and it's not on my computer and then all my personal stuff and all my like credit cards, whatever it's in a whole other drive.
- 41:41Carmen Lezeth: Uh, one drive I use.
- 41:43Carmen Lezeth: But, ricky, we're gonna say something.
- 41:45Rick Costa: I'm sorry I was logged into my mom's email, which she never uses, but then I saw there was an alert and, like your social security may have been on the dark web, I'm like, oh great, explains why our phone rings all day long.
- 41:55Rick Costa: But um, I do use, like daniel just mentioned, I use dropbox.
- 41:59Rick Costa: I've used that for years and years and years and, yeah, it just automatically syncs constantly.
- 42:03Rick Costa: If you get a new, new computer, you log in, boom, everything gets downloaded automatically.
- 42:08Carmen Lezeth: Dropbox is great too, daniel.
- 42:09Carmen Lezeth: I don't.
- 42:10Carmen Lezeth: You know, I'm not an expert on any of this stuff.
- 42:13Carmen Lezeth: I think the thing that everyone should understand is that everything is already out on the internet.
- 42:20Carmen Lezeth: How you protect that is what's important.
- 42:22Carmen Lezeth: So, speaking of your mother's social security, I just took two of my clients and explained to them that they have to.
- 42:29Carmen Lezeth: Everyone should have a freeze on their credit reports.
- 42:32Carmen Lezeth: So there are three credit reports, right, there's Equifax, experian, experian and TransUnion.
- 42:42Carmen Lezeth: All three of those.
- 42:43Carmen Lezeth: All you have to do is go online, answer some questions and you can turn around and get to their freezing area and all that.
- 42:50Carmen Lezeth: And I've had my credit reports frozen for like again 10 years, because it's the easiest way to prevent someone from using your credit line and opening up a bank account or getting a mortgage or whatever.
- 43:04Carmen Lezeth: So most people have been hacked recently with their social security cards and their social security numbers.
- 43:12Carmen Lezeth: Right, that's the big thing that happened recently, and everyone's getting those what they think are spam emails.
- 43:17Carmen Lezeth: They're not actually spam emails, but people are trying to make money off of you saying your social security is in the dark web.
- 43:24Carmen Lezeth: This is what happened.
- 43:26Carmen Lezeth: We can help you if you pay us $19.99 a month or whatever.
- 43:29Carmen Lezeth: You don't have to pay anybody to take care of your credit cards and your credit ratings and the whole credit report situation.
- 43:40Carmen Lezeth: You just have to take the time to do it.
- 43:41Carmen Lezeth: And now that it's online I used to have to call and do it because it was so long ago you can go online, answer all those security questions like where did you live when you were seven?
- 43:50Carmen Lezeth: You know like things that nobody would know about you except you.
- 43:53Carmen Lezeth: And they do the multiple choice thing Set up your credit rating until you unfreeze it.
- 43:57Carmen Lezeth: So if you go to get a mortgage or you go to take out a loan or get a credit card, you have to unfreeze it before you do that.
- 44:15Carmen Lezeth: Now it sounds complicated, but it's not.
- 44:17Carmen Lezeth: Now it's so easy.
- 44:19Carmen Lezeth: You just unfreeze it for like two or three days each and you ask them which one do you want to use?
- 44:25Carmen Lezeth: Are you going to use trans union?
- 44:27Carmen Lezeth: Trans union to check my credit report?
- 44:30Carmen Lezeth: Right, like when I had to get this apartment, they told me they use trans union.
- 44:32Carmen Lezeth: I'm like, okay, I went online, put in my password and I unfroze it for two days and then he was able to check and then it closes again.
- 44:41Carmen Lezeth: Um, so credit karma?
- 44:43Carmen Lezeth: I don't.
- 44:43Carmen Lezeth: Credit karma is another organization that charges people to do things right.
- 44:48Carmen Lezeth: I don't I'm not for it or against it.
- 44:50Carmen Lezeth: I'm just saying you don't need to pay anybody to do this.
- 44:53Carmen Lezeth: You just need to go to those actual credit reporting agencies and do it yourself.
- 44:58Carmen Lezeth: I don't know what you mean by freezing assets.
- 45:01Carmen Lezeth: That has nothing to do with this.
- 45:03Carmen Lezeth: Your assets are different.
- 45:04Carmen Lezeth: Um, freezing your credit reports is what you want to do.
- 45:09Carmen Lezeth: Everyone should be doing that anyway.
- 45:10Carmen Lezeth: I don't even know why people don't do that.
- 45:13Rick Costa: Um when you set it up, it's literally just a click of a button on and off right yeah, but each account is different, so transun is going to have a different way.
- 45:22Carmen Lezeth: You can have a different password.
- 45:23Carmen Lezeth: Uh, you know what I mean Equifax and then the other one I always forget.
- 45:27Carmen Lezeth: I know there are two E's, I always forget them, but whatever, and also it's just a smart thing to do.
- 45:32Carmen Lezeth: You shouldn't let people have access to your credit reports anyway, and it makes you think about when you are going to get a credit card or go to, you know, open up a bank account or whatever.
- 45:51Carmen Lezeth: It makes you think about it because it gives you you have to have a little bit of time to do things you know.
- 45:53Carmen Lezeth: So, yeah, I suggest everyone do that immediately.
- 45:54Carmen Lezeth: And yes, the dark web, the web, the internet none of it is going away.
- 45:55Carmen Lezeth: It's just going to get worse.
- 45:57Carmen Lezeth: So learning to protect yourself is something everyone should do anyways.
- 46:01Carmen Lezeth: And also kids.
- 46:02Carmen Lezeth: I've been telling my friends who have children you should all have their social security, everybody's social security, since they're born.
- 46:10Carmen Lezeth: If you have children, all their credit reports have probably been hacked and none of you know because you don't check them.
- 46:15Carmen Lezeth: I know All the parents are freaking out right now.
- 46:20Carmen Lezeth: I'm just saying Andrea's like fucking bitch.
- 46:28Carmen Lezeth: I'm just saying Andrea's like fucking bitch.
- 46:28Carmen Lezeth: I'm just saying everyone should be doing that.
- 46:30Carmen Lezeth: You should do it tomorrow.
- 46:32Carmen Lezeth: It's very easy.
- 46:33Rick Costa: Because I've always heard you should check it, make sure there's no inaccuracies.
- 46:35Rick Costa: If you see it, you got to let them know.
- 46:37Rick Costa: Hey, no, this is not right.
- 46:38Rick Costa: Blah, blah, blah.
- 46:39Carmen Lezeth: It's really easy.
- 46:40Carmen Lezeth: I'm seriously.
- 46:41Carmen Lezeth: I used to have to call and you have to mail it in.
- 46:44Carmen Lezeth: You'd have to like it was such a huge hoopla before and now it's so much easier to do.
- 46:49Carmen Lezeth: But yeah, especially everyone should.
- 46:51Carmen Lezeth: You should do it for your kids as well, no matter what their age is, if they have a social security number you should already be freezing their credit reports immediately.
- 47:04Carmen Lezeth: Melanie, I'm happy to share that information with you and I will DM you and send you the links.
- 47:06Carmen Lezeth: I'm happy to share that information with you and I will DM you and send you the links.
- 47:07Carmen Lezeth: I'm happy to do that.
- 47:08Carmen Lezeth: I'm not prepared to do that right now, although I put it in the thing, but I just did this for two of my clients, because my clients, you know the the we're talking about people with a lot of money.
- 47:19Carmen Lezeth: I'm not saying that people here or people listening don't have a lot of money, but even my clients know that they're about to be hacked, if they haven't been already.
- 47:27Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean.
- 47:27Carmen Lezeth: So they were like um, so yeah, and people always trying to make money yeah, um, so yeah, I don't know how we got into that.
- 47:37Carmen Lezeth: How did we get into that?
- 47:40Rick Costa: somebody needed to hear it.
- 47:41Carmen Lezeth: We were were talking about Julia Roberts right.
- 47:43Rick Costa: No we were talking
- 47:44Andrea Nunez: about Andrea's work.
- 47:45Andrea Nunez: Oh yeah, the cloud, the cloud.
- 47:49Carmen Lezeth: Oh yeah yeah, yeah, I'm so sorry.
- 47:51Carmen Lezeth: So what did you do?
- 47:52Carmen Lezeth: You've lost everything.
- 47:56Andrea Nunez: I'm just busy recreating documents.
- 48:00Andrea Nunez: That's what I've been doing all week.
- 48:02Carmen Lezeth: You lost everything, are you sure?
- 48:03Carmen Lezeth: It's really hard to lose it.
- 48:05Andrea Nunez: Next step is to send it to some.
- 48:07Andrea Nunez: You know, send the whole thing up to some company who does data recovery and see if they can get anything.
- 48:13Andrea Nunez: But you know, because I had it like a computer guy went and looked at it and he's like, yeah, I can't get anything off of it.
- 48:20Andrea Nunez: And I was like you know, okay fine, so I need to send it to a data-free specialist.
- 48:29Rick Costa: Yeah, a specialist has to do it.
- 48:30Rick Costa: They should be able to get something off of it at least.
- 48:32Carmen Lezeth: Not everything, but something I mean nothing's ever lost if it's in the memory and you really have to be a computer genius to erase everything.
- 48:42Carmen Lezeth: The only way to really erase anything on any computer or laptop is to restore it back to its original, and even that's quite a process.
- 48:50Carmen Lezeth: So it's in there.
- 48:51Carmen Lezeth: But you got to get somebody who knows I don't know how to do that.
- 48:54Carmen Lezeth: But then it's like the money thing, Like is it worth it?
- 48:57Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean and sometimes I see it as a blessing.
- 48:59Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean and I got to start over.
- 49:02Carmen Lezeth: It's cleansing.
- 49:05Rick Costa: But hard drives do not last forever.
- 49:06Rick Costa: I'm just letting you know, and if you're here all of a sudden, a click, click, click inside your computer, that's probably your hard drives getting ready to die and you better back up everything quick.
- 49:16Carmen Lezeth: Like quick, but how old was your computer?
- 49:19Carmen Lezeth: Your computer is not that old.
- 49:20Andrea Nunez: Not that old, I don't know.
- 49:21Andrea Nunez: I was working on a document for a client Went to go look at it the next morning and my computer wouldn't even start up, so you know, oh, yeah, no that sounds hard.
- 49:33Cynthia Ruiz: Okay, Can I just say, Rick, those two things behind you.
- 49:36Cynthia Ruiz: It looks like you got Mickey ears on.
- 49:41Rick Costa: Oh, with the hats.
- 49:42Carmen Lezeth: It's the hat.
- 49:43Rick Costa: And did anybody notice?
- 49:45Carmen Lezeth: All about the joy.
- 49:45Rick Costa: Joy are those a sticker I just put the whole thing on there.
- 49:48Rick Costa: I couldn't decide how to do.
- 49:49Carmen Lezeth: I just I'm gonna slap it on there, so yeah I love that you guys are so cool and bond stuff.
- 49:55Carmen Lezeth: Thank you, that's so cool um I have to at some point set up the bank account that will transfer that money, because I guess money sits in there until I.
- 50:04Carmen Lezeth: I haven't set that up yet, so anyways, but thank you.
- 50:06Carmen Lezeth: Um, but the all about the joy stickers that you said they came.
- 50:10Carmen Lezeth: They came separate.
- 50:11Carmen Lezeth: No, not separate letters Separate sticker.
- 50:14Rick Costa: Each word is a separate sticker and I was like oh, I didn't think it was going cool.
- 50:27Carmen Lezeth: I don't know, it's my.
- 50:27Carmen Lezeth: I didn't look at I.
- 50:28Carmen Lezeth: I can only design what I can design.
- 50:30Carmen Lezeth: I just did the graphic.
- 50:32Carmen Lezeth: I didn't do the.
- 50:33Carmen Lezeth: They decide how to do that part, I don't know.
- 50:37Carmen Lezeth: But I appreciate you.
- 50:38Carmen Lezeth: I appreciate you.
- 50:39Carmen Lezeth: Stop buying stuff up.
- 50:40Carmen Lezeth: No, everyone should buy stuff.
- 50:42Carmen Lezeth: Everyone should buy stuff.
- 50:43Carmen Lezeth: But I mean I feel bad my people buying stuff.
- 50:45Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean.
- 50:47Carmen Lezeth: We like to support.
- 50:48Carmen Lezeth: I love that cup, though Can I just say Andrea hasn't seen that, so this cup I designed.
- 50:54Carmen Lezeth: It says it really is all about the joy.
- 50:58Andrea Nunez: It's a cute cup that looks like a nice size mug too.
- 51:02Andrea Nunez: I need a new mug.
- 51:04Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, that's kind of cool right?
- 51:06Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, andrea, I think you need four.
- 51:08Carmen Lezeth: Aren't there four people in your family, don't you want to have like a set for everybody?
- 51:14Carmen Lezeth: You know what I'm just saying Different colors.
- 51:21Carmen Lezeth: Christmas card photo.
- 51:23Carmen Lezeth: You know I'm so bad, I suck at selling stuff.
- 51:25Carmen Lezeth: I have a picture of Carmen at the bottom that would be good to put, like my picture at the bottom.
- 51:31Carmen Lezeth: So it's a great idea.
- 51:35Carmen Lezeth: We should do that.
- 51:36Carmen Lezeth: We should do that.
- 51:37Carmen Lezeth: No, look, I appreciate everyone who's interested in the swag at all.
- 51:41Carmen Lezeth: It's at allaboutthejoycom.
- 51:42Carmen Lezeth: There's a store right there.
- 51:44Carmen Lezeth: You could check it out.
- 51:44Carmen Lezeth: The prices are not any.
- 51:45Carmen Lezeth: I mean, you guys have bought stuff and it's not swag at all.
- 51:47Carmen Lezeth: It's at allaboutthejoycom.
- 51:47Carmen Lezeth: There's a store right there.
- 51:48Carmen Lezeth: You could check it out.
- 51:48Carmen Lezeth: The prices are not any.
- 51:51Carmen Lezeth: I mean, you guys have bought stuff and it's not crazy, right, I didn't mark them up.
- 51:52Carmen Lezeth: Really.
- 51:53Carmen Lezeth: There's like a dollar that we get.
- 51:53Carmen Lezeth: That's why I haven't set up the thing.
- 51:55Carmen Lezeth: But any money we do get just goes back into editing the software and everything else I pay for.
- 52:03Carmen Lezeth: But we just appreciate it because it's kind of cool and fun.
- 52:06Carmen Lezeth: I'm going to get the tote bag.
- 52:07Carmen Lezeth: That's what I want.
- 52:08Carmen Lezeth: I'm going to get the tote bag and see if that's a really good.
- 52:11Carmen Lezeth: I'm going to get that and then that cup, yeah.
- 52:14Carmen Lezeth: And then, andrea, you're buying four cups, which I love you for that, so cute.
- 52:18Carmen Lezeth: Andrea's like yeah, that's not going to happen.
- 52:20Carmen Lezeth: So, yeah, happy, um, so yeah, crazy rick merch, you didn't see him last week.
- 52:30Carmen Lezeth: He had the whole like.
- 52:32Carmen Lezeth: He had, like cynthia, the whole outfit on.
- 52:33Carmen Lezeth: He had the hat and the cushion drinking the.
- 52:35Carmen Lezeth: I think that too right, I like it.
- 52:37Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, I did good, I mean, it took me way too long, I know, I know, I know.
- 52:41Carmen Lezeth: So, anyways, that's me selling all about the joy merch swag.
- 52:46Carmen Lezeth: So, um, anything else, guys, before I wrap this up a little bit, I didn't know about cynthia's week.
- 52:52Rick Costa: I don't think she meant you know what?
- 52:54Carmen Lezeth: I always talk to cynthia in the green room beforehand.
- 52:56Carmen Lezeth: That's why how was your?
- 52:57Cynthia Ruiz: week, sis, it actually it flew by this week, um, but I think it's because most of the time I had to work with my headphones on, because the lady I was working with she was kind of getting on my nerves.
- 53:12Cynthia Ruiz: She kept complaining about certain situations that were happening, even after they were already resolved.
- 53:20Cynthia Ruiz: She kept going on and I'm like can you just let it go?
- 53:23Cynthia Ruiz: I had to keep telling her that Let it go, just let it go, and she would just keep going on.
- 53:26Cynthia Ruiz: And I'm like can you just let it go?
- 53:27Cynthia Ruiz: I had to keep telling her that let it go, just let it go, and she would just keep going on.
- 53:28Cynthia Ruiz: So I had to put my ear earphones on and tune her out that's the one that's been there for a long time uh-huh oh boy oh no, are you creating enemies?
- 53:39Cynthia Ruiz: no, no, I just I just keep, kind of keep to myself, hi, linda oh thank you.
- 53:46Carmen Lezeth: Oh, Linda just said I enjoyed the show.
- 53:49Carmen Lezeth: Everyone had a fantastic night.
- 53:50Carmen Lezeth: Thank you for stopping by.
- 53:51Carmen Lezeth: I appreciate everyone and people who are in the room.
- 53:54Carmen Lezeth: I'm grateful.
- 53:56Carmen Lezeth: But, Cynthia, so you're making enemies and you're going to last how long?
- 54:04Cynthia Ruiz: I don't know how long I'm going to last there, but no the doctors like you, though.
- 54:08Carmen Lezeth: right, I mean, that's all the doctors like yeah.
- 54:14Cynthia Ruiz: But really you think you're, you think you made a mistake.
- 54:17Cynthia Ruiz: No, no, it's just having to deal with this one person and the doctor's away right now at a conference in Florence.
- 54:22Cynthia Ruiz: So of course you know, the cat's away, the mice will play.
- 54:24Cynthia Ruiz: So she's just kind of acting up right now because the doctor's not there, but in a way she's kind of making us look bad because we have a visitor from New Zealand, a doctor from New Zealand who's with us for six weeks and is like hearing all of this complaining and stuff like that, and I'm telling her cut it out, like I'm trying to joke with her, like I think you're scaring the doctor, you know, just so she'll stop.
- 54:51Carmen Lezeth: But yeah, Well, yeah, I have.
- 54:57Carmen Lezeth: No, I don't know what to say.
- 54:58Carmen Lezeth: I think it's a hard situation because you are the new person and maybe she feels comfortable to complain to you, which I guess so not what you want.
- 55:07Cynthia Ruiz: I bring that out, so I don't know.
- 55:16Carmen Lezeth: I didn't hear you.
- 55:18Andrea Nunez: I said, earphones are a good solution in that situation.
- 55:20Carmen Lezeth: Just tune her out, don't participate it's a small office, though, right, it's only you guys.
- 55:27Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, see, that's why it's really hard, because there's no interference, there's nobody else.
- 55:32Carmen Lezeth: So, like, if I'm with you guys and I'm like it's funny because, like, my desk is behind her.
- 55:43Cynthia Ruiz: Hmm, well, wait, what did you say, cynthia?
- 55:44Cynthia Ruiz: My desk is behind her.
- 55:44Cynthia Ruiz: So Well, wait, what did you say, cynthia?
- 55:46Cynthia Ruiz: My desk is behind her, so she can't even see my facial expressions or anything.
- 55:52Cynthia Ruiz: I see the back of her head.
- 55:53Cynthia Ruiz: So she's just going on and on and on.
- 55:55Cynthia Ruiz: So I'm listening to music.
- 55:56Cynthia Ruiz: Then, all of a sudden, she'll turn around and say something.
- 55:58Cynthia Ruiz: I'm like what?
- 55:59Cynthia Ruiz: Oh, you're talking to me.
- 56:03Carmen Lezeth: Okay.
- 56:04Carmen Lezeth: Well, I'm going to prey on that situation for you, because I feel like that could get really bad quick.
- 56:07Carmen Lezeth: That's one of those situations where you either want to have a really good relationship, even if it's a professional in a small office like that, or it's going to get bad and untenable.
- 56:20Rick Costa: Hopefully she'll retire soon.
- 56:21Rick Costa: She's going to retire.
- 56:22Carmen Lezeth: She's one of those people, right?
- 56:23Carmen Lezeth: She ain't going to retire.
- 56:24Carmen Lezeth: She's one of those people right?
- 56:25Carmen Lezeth: She ain't going to retire.
- 56:25Carmen Lezeth: She's not going to retire.
- 56:29Cynthia Ruiz: I don't think so.
- 56:30Cynthia Ruiz: How old is she?
- 56:31Cynthia Ruiz: She's about to turn 60.
- 56:36Carmen Lezeth: She's not going to retire.
- 56:37Carmen Lezeth: Are you kidding me?
- 56:37Carmen Lezeth: You want to wait until you're at least 67 to get the most benefits from your retirement plan, unless you're already rich?
- 56:43Carmen Lezeth: Trust me, I've investigated this.
- 56:47Cynthia Ruiz: You know what I mean.
- 56:49Carmen Lezeth: Like I got this shit down pat.
- 56:51Carmen Lezeth: I was like when do you get Medicare?
- 56:53Carmen Lezeth: Look it, I'm looking for the day I can retire.
- 56:59Carmen Lezeth: It ain't going to be anytime soon, because I don't want to live, you know, in Arkansas or whatever.
- 57:04Carmen Lezeth: I don't want to live, you know, in Arkansas or whatever, I don't know.
- 57:06Carmen Lezeth: Okay, with that, everyone, we're at the hour mark.
- 57:11Carmen Lezeth: I'm so grateful for everyone who's tuning in and listening.
- 57:14Carmen Lezeth: Thank you to everyone in the chat.

- 57:34Rick Costa: I didn't slurp.
- 57:35Rick Costa: I was good today.
- 57:35Carmen Lezeth: I didn't slurp I know, last week we were cracking up on that thing.
- 57:38Carmen Lezeth: It was so funny and Andrea ain't got no swag because she don't love us, but she's going to get something soon.
- 57:43Carmen Lezeth: I love you, wands.
- 57:46Carmen Lezeth: It's just been a minute so I have to be mean to you a little bit.
- 57:48Carmen Lezeth: You do get that love, right.
- 57:51Andrea Nunez: Yes, I know.
- 57:51Carmen Lezeth: Okay, I love you girl.
- 57:53Carmen Lezeth: All right, so everyone, thank you so much.
