- 0:00Speaker 1: Come on you.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Uh huh, I sure will A good morning everybody you're
- 0:06Speaker 2: listening to the voice, Come on, dig me now, one
- 0:10Speaker 2: and only Steve Harley got a radio show. You know,
- 0:13Speaker 2: I think I ought to explain something to y'all. You
- 0:15Speaker 2: know when I when I wake up in the morning
- 0:17Speaker 2: and I say, dig me, now, what I'm asking you
- 0:21Speaker 2: to do is it's old school, you know, man, And
- 0:23Speaker 2: you know you said old people say I dig You know,
- 0:26Speaker 2: da da da, Never stop saying that. I'm sorry, but
- 0:30Speaker 2: dig me now. It's just I want you to I do.
- 0:33Speaker 2: Won't you really feel me? Won't you to understand what
- 0:35Speaker 2: I'm saying, because really, this morning inspiration is all given
- 0:40Speaker 2: in the spirit of sharing and love. It ain't about
- 0:43Speaker 2: to expose me in any way. That's not the purpose
- 0:46Speaker 2: of it. But I found that in my morning inspiration
- 0:50Speaker 2: that is best that I use some things about myself,
- 0:53Speaker 2: because I mean, what better example can I use? Because
- 0:55Speaker 2: I know me, I know what's happened to me. I
- 0:58Speaker 2: know exactly how I felt all along the way concerning
- 1:02Speaker 2: almost everything, every aspect of my life. I now fully
- 1:06Speaker 2: do really understand why God had my life spend the
- 1:10Speaker 2: way it spun and here's the part that I want
- 1:13Speaker 2: to give to you this morning, that first of all,
- 1:16Speaker 2: whatever position you find yourself in today, we kind of
- 1:20Speaker 2: come to one realization that we got ourselves there. We
- 1:24Speaker 2: put ourselves there by a series of thoughts and actions.
- 1:28Speaker 2: Thoughts turn into things. That's very important to know. So
- 1:34Speaker 2: let's look at both sides of it. For people who
- 1:37Speaker 2: think negative thoughts, it turns into negative things, and the
- 1:44Speaker 2: direct opposite is true. For those who think positive thoughts,
- 1:49Speaker 2: it turns into positive things. That's the deal. It's as
- 1:55Speaker 2: simple as that, folks. I cannot break it down any cleaner,
- 2:01Speaker 2: I cannot make it any clearer. Thoughts become things. So
- 2:07Speaker 2: the one glaring question for all of us always is
- 2:11Speaker 2: on a daily basis, what are you thinking? What are
- 2:14Speaker 2: your thoughts? What are you thinking? What are your thoughts?
- 2:20Speaker 2: Because I can assure you and is not by a
- 2:24Speaker 2: promise of mind. This is not a theory that Steve
- 2:28Speaker 2: Harveyden came up with. This is a fact of life.
- 2:33Speaker 2: This is biblical, this is spiritual, this is written, this
- 2:38Speaker 2: is philosophical.
- 2:39Speaker 1: This is the law of the universe.
- 2:41Speaker 2: However, you need to drink this medicine to take to
- 2:45Speaker 2: get it down and feel what I'm saying to you.
- 2:48Speaker 2: This is just the way it is now. And here
- 2:50Speaker 2: the cold part, folks, It don't matter if you believe
- 2:54Speaker 2: me or not. It does not matter if you have
- 2:59Speaker 2: never been and explain this or not. And it does
- 3:03Speaker 2: not matter if you think it works in your life
- 3:06Speaker 2: or not. It don't matter. Listen to me. It is
- 3:10Speaker 2: the way it is.
- 3:11Speaker 1: It is a.
- 3:12Speaker 2: Scriptural, it is a spiritual, it is philosophical.
- 3:17Speaker 1: It's just whatever's the law of the universe. You call
- 3:19Speaker 1: whatever you want call.
- 3:20Speaker 2: However, you got to dress this thing up to put
- 3:24Speaker 2: it in a phase that you can feel me.
- 3:26Speaker 1: I want you to feel me now, because this is
- 3:28Speaker 1: all it is.
- 3:30Speaker 2: So when I say that you are where we are
- 3:32Speaker 2: today because we thought ourselves here, are you best to
- 3:36Speaker 2: believe that's true? You thought yourself here, no one else see.
- 3:41Speaker 2: Let me explain something. I got people around me who
- 3:45Speaker 2: so badly want to take credit for it, but I
- 3:49Speaker 2: don't allow it. But because I keep pointing to the heavens,
- 3:54Speaker 2: I keep pointing and trying to say it out loud
- 3:58Speaker 2: as many times as I can without being so offensive,
- 4:02Speaker 2: that my life is by design, by grace and mercy,
- 4:07Speaker 2: by blessings, from God. My life is because God has
- 4:12Speaker 2: seen it to be so. Oh, but I got plenty
- 4:14Speaker 2: of people around me want credit for it and want
- 4:17Speaker 2: you to not give credit to God and give it
- 4:20Speaker 2: to them. I got that. I got that, But I
- 4:23Speaker 2: understand that. See, I understand what that is. That's a
- 4:26Speaker 2: person whose design is to get the credit.
- 4:30Speaker 1: But it's okay.
- 4:32Speaker 2: It's so clear to me what my father was saying
- 4:34Speaker 2: to me. Man, I get it. As I get older
- 4:36Speaker 2: and older. He always said to me, son, everybody come
- 4:40Speaker 2: with you can't go with you. See, you know, I
- 4:44Speaker 2: don't know how people say it in church. You know
- 4:46Speaker 2: sometime they go, well, people come into your life for seasons,
- 4:49Speaker 2: and I guess that's the same thing.
- 4:51Speaker 1: You know they seizing up.
- 4:52Speaker 2: They gone well, you know, and then but then hi,
- 4:56Speaker 2: the way they try to hold you though, or you're
- 4:58Speaker 2: gonna forget where you come from. Oh, you ain't gonna
- 5:01Speaker 2: keep it real no more. I don't want to go
- 5:05Speaker 2: back where I come from. I don't want to keep
- 5:07Speaker 2: it that real no more. It was real enough for
- 5:10Speaker 2: me living in a car. I had enough of that real.
- 5:13Speaker 2: I don't gonna keep it real now. I don't keep
- 5:15Speaker 2: it real. I wanna go keep it dreamy. I want
- 5:17Speaker 2: to go, keep it fantasized. I want I wanna. I
- 5:20Speaker 2: want to keep it out of this world. I want
- 5:22Speaker 2: to keep it off the chain. I want to keep
- 5:25Speaker 2: it moving. I want to keep it ball and I
- 5:26Speaker 2: want to see what that's like. So Nah, I ain't
- 5:29Speaker 2: gonna forget where I come from, But you ain't gonna
- 5:32Speaker 2: hold me to that though See, thoughts become things all
- 5:37Speaker 2: day long? Where's your vision board? Where are the things
- 5:41Speaker 2: that you want written down? What do you think about
- 5:45Speaker 2: the most? How grateful are you for what all God
- 5:49Speaker 2: has done for you? Where you at with that? See
- 5:53Speaker 2: here hear another law? If thoughts become things, Let me
- 5:59Speaker 2: ask you this. If all you thinking about is your debt,
- 6:03Speaker 2: If all you're thinking about is what you ain't got,
- 6:06Speaker 2: If all you thinking about or is all woe is me?
- 6:10Speaker 2: If all you thinking about is every time I turn around,
- 6:12Speaker 2: I'm sick. If all you thinking about it's the things
- 6:17Speaker 2: in life that you're lacking. If that's all you thinking about,
- 6:23Speaker 2: and if thoughts become things, how much debt you think
- 6:29Speaker 2: you're gonna stay in?
- 6:30Speaker 1: How much?
- 6:31Speaker 2: How much how much lacking you think you're finn to
- 6:33Speaker 2: fill your life with how much most stuff you fin
- 6:37Speaker 2: to not have because you keep thinking about it all
- 6:42Speaker 2: the time. When you're gonna be grateful, when you're gonna
- 6:46Speaker 2: say thank you, when it's gonna come out your mouth, Man,
- 6:50Speaker 2: that I may not be where I want to be,
- 6:53Speaker 2: but I show am grateful for what you've given me
- 6:56Speaker 2: so far, for the things I have today because I
- 7:00Speaker 2: don't have to have these things.
- 7:01Speaker 1: You know what that does?
- 7:03Speaker 2: That then opens up room for more stuff to come
- 7:06Speaker 2: your way. To be grateful fall. But if you're gonna
- 7:09Speaker 2: be ungrateful, ah, man, let me ask you something. I
- 7:12Speaker 2: ain't God, I don't claim to be, But let me
- 7:14Speaker 2: ask you something man. If you ungrateful for the things
- 7:18Speaker 2: we've got, if we can't show no gratitude for what
- 7:21Speaker 2: we have, why would God give us some most stuff
- 7:25Speaker 2: to be ungrateful for? What would he do that for?
- 7:29Speaker 1: Tada?
- 7:30Speaker 2: Anybody feel me right now? So when I say come on,
- 7:34Speaker 2: y'all dig me? Now? Do you understand why I say
- 7:36Speaker 2: dig me because I.
- 7:37Speaker 1: Want you to feel me.
- 7:38Speaker 2: I want you to understand and come to the understanding,
- 7:40Speaker 2: not saying you ain't. Because there's so many people got
- 7:42Speaker 2: a deeper understanding than me about this whole thing.
- 7:45Speaker 1: I promise you they do, but they listen to me.
- 7:48Speaker 2: I'm just trying to get you to walk up in
- 7:50Speaker 2: this light, man, so you can go on with your
- 7:51Speaker 2: life and quit tripping yourself out with your thoughts, because
- 7:54Speaker 2: thoughts become things, all right.
- 7:56Speaker 1: All day you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show
