- 0:12SPEAKER_00: Today we're talking about Good Girls Season 1, Episode 9, Summer of the Shark.
- 0:19SPEAKER_00: Which is actually kind of fitting, seeing as how like this summer is Jaw's 50th anniversary.
- 0:25SPEAKER_03: Oh, uh, it is.
- 0:27SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 0:27SPEAKER_00: I'm Lisa.
- 0:28SPEAKER_00: I am sipping on a little uh Dr.
- 0:31SPEAKER_00: Duck coffee right here out of my lovely The Office mug that Agnes is like subtly rolling her eyes about.
- 0:41SPEAKER_03: Not actually, I'm not.
- 0:42SPEAKER_00: I'm just and I I could it's inside.
- 0:46SPEAKER_00: I could see it.
- 0:50SPEAKER_00: It's inside.
- 0:51SPEAKER_03: Your own head?
- 0:52SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 0:52SPEAKER_03: Yes, it is.
- 0:54SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 0:54SPEAKER_03: In your head.
- 0:56SPEAKER_00: Mm-hmm.
- 0:57SPEAKER_00: There's Beats Battlestar Galactica.
- 1:00SPEAKER_03: And I'm Agnes, and I'm just drinking coffee.
- 1:05SPEAKER_03: I had a good time last night.
- 1:08SPEAKER_00: Oh.
- 1:08SPEAKER_03: And I just need to recover a little bit.
- 1:11SPEAKER_00: You want to talk about it?
- 1:12SPEAKER_00: Because I don't know what you did last night.
- 1:13SPEAKER_00: No, I know.
- 1:15SPEAKER_03: No, my um friend of mine.
- 1:17SPEAKER_00: This is this is happening a lot now.
- 1:19SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 1:21SPEAKER_00: We might have to cancel the podcast.
- 1:23SPEAKER_03: You would never.
- 1:25SPEAKER_03: I might, but you wouldn't.
- 1:28SPEAKER_03: No, it was impromptu.
- 1:30SPEAKER_03: My homegirl up the in the same complex.
- 1:32SPEAKER_03: She came by and we were drinking.
- 1:35SPEAKER_03: And then her future daughter-in-law and her mother came by.
- 1:38SPEAKER_03: So we're just outside my backyard, just drinking and nice and the shit.
- 1:42SPEAKER_03: Because uh, remember I told you about some swimsuits and they were too big.
- 1:47SPEAKER_03: And I'm like, I don't want to deal with this return.
- 1:52SPEAKER_03: I mean, the return is easy.
- 1:53SPEAKER_03: I'm like, I don't feel like it.
- 1:55SPEAKER_03: And she has bigger breasts than I do and bigger booty than I do.
- 2:02SPEAKER_03: And so I'm like So she's like Jessica Rabbit.
- 2:05SPEAKER_03: Yes, she is.
- 2:06SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 2:07SPEAKER_03: She's Jessica Rabbit.
- 2:08SPEAKER_03: She is a black Jessica Rabbit.
- 2:10SPEAKER_03: So I'm like, oh, because it was too bad.
- 2:12SPEAKER_00: How do you know Jessica Rabbit is not black?
- 2:14SPEAKER_00: She's a cartoon.
- 2:16SPEAKER_00: She could be anything.
- 2:18SPEAKER_03: Well, okay.
- 2:20SPEAKER_03: You assume she was drawn.
- 2:22SPEAKER_03: Jessica Robert was drawn as a white chick.
- 2:27SPEAKER_03: But the reboot is black.
- 2:28SPEAKER_03: No sound.
- 2:29SPEAKER_03: Um the reboot.
- 2:31SPEAKER_03: Um, so I'm like, you know what, this will fit her.
- 2:34SPEAKER_03: Like she'll fill out because it wasn't like huge.
- 2:37SPEAKER_03: It was just like, eh.
- 2:39SPEAKER_03: So they come by and pick them up.
- 2:42SPEAKER_03: And listen, Home Girl has body adi adi audi for days.
- 2:46SPEAKER_03: And I feel like those swimsuits were made for her.
- 2:48SPEAKER_03: I'm like, okay.
- 2:50SPEAKER_03: Best money I spent.
- 2:52SPEAKER_03: Um, so yeah, like three, four bottles of Moscato and Oh my god.
- 2:58SPEAKER_03: And then Tito's and yeah.
- 3:03SPEAKER_03: I remember going to like I cleaned up the house a little here, and I remember sending my goodnight text, and I went to and I remember and the next thing I know, I'm awake this morning.
- 3:17SPEAKER_03: And I was like, oh, okay.
- 3:20SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 3:22SPEAKER_00: Where were we?
- 3:24SPEAKER_00: Summer of the Shark, episode nine.
- 3:28SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 3:29SPEAKER_00: Any hot takes?
- 3:31SPEAKER_00: Mary Pat.
- 3:32SPEAKER_00: Like this bitch needs to be handled.
- 3:34SPEAKER_00: And I'm using the quotation mark handled.
- 3:42SPEAKER_00: And Boomer was giving me like weird vibes this episode.
- 3:49SPEAKER_03: More so than normally.
- 3:51SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 3:51SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 3:52SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 3:53SPEAKER_03: He needs to be put on a on a watch list somewhere.
- 3:56SPEAKER_03: He needs to be put on a list.
- 3:57SPEAKER_03: He belongs on a list somewhere.
- 4:01SPEAKER_03: The episode opens with the girls watching Beth's kids play in her backyard.
- 4:06SPEAKER_03: I want the kids' play set.
- 4:09SPEAKER_00: I know.
- 4:09SPEAKER_00: I was like, are they at a park?
- 4:10SPEAKER_00: Oh no, they're in their fucking yard.
- 4:12SPEAKER_00: I want that.
- 4:13SPEAKER_00: I want that for me.
- 4:14SPEAKER_00: For me.
- 4:15unknown: Facts.
- 4:15SPEAKER_03: No, for excellent angel.
- 4:18SPEAKER_00: No, fuck that.
- 4:19SPEAKER_00: I want that for me.
- 4:22SPEAKER_03: I own it.
- 4:23SPEAKER_03: I want it for me.
- 4:24SPEAKER_00: When we were looking at houses, I'm not even gonna lie and pretend, like I didn't tell my husband, that can we find a house with a tree in the backyard?
- 4:32SPEAKER_00: So I can have a tree house.
- 4:34SPEAKER_03: Tree house.
- 4:35SPEAKER_03: This is a really cool tree.
- 4:36SPEAKER_00: And God bless him, or you know, Danny DeVito blessed him because he was like, Yeah, if we find a house with a tree in the backyard, I'll build you a tree house.
- 4:44SPEAKER_00: We don't have a tree in the backyard though.
- 4:47SPEAKER_03: But he would have.
- 4:48SPEAKER_00: Who knows?
- 4:48SPEAKER_00: Who knows if that was strategic or not?
- 4:50SPEAKER_00: But you know.
- 4:55SPEAKER_03: But he would have as much as you would.
- 4:59SPEAKER_03: He did buy me a store.
- 5:01SPEAKER_00: Where is it hard today?
- 5:02SPEAKER_00: Because I never had one as a kid.
- 5:03SPEAKER_00: He did buy me one.
- 5:05SPEAKER_00: Aw.
- 5:06SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and then last year I broke my ankle so I couldn't use it.
- 5:10SPEAKER_00: And I still have never used it.
- 5:11SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna say hello this year.
- 5:13SPEAKER_00: I know.
- 5:14SPEAKER_00: Well, we only have grass in the front, so you gotta put it on grass.
- 5:18SPEAKER_00: And everything I know, but everything breaking around.
- 5:24SPEAKER_00: We just have it.
- 5:26SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 5:26SPEAKER_03: And that's yeah.
- 5:28SPEAKER_03: But that's the reason you really should, because everything's fucking falling apart.
- 5:32SPEAKER_03: Like, fuck it.
- 5:33SPEAKER_03: Slip and slide, wear the shots, and call it a fucking day.
- 5:36SPEAKER_00: I know.
- 5:37SPEAKER_00: Now now he's in the middle of trying to fix the lawnmower.
- 5:40SPEAKER_00: So the grass needs to be mowed.
- 5:42SPEAKER_03: I just really think a drunk slip and slide party is gonna be.
- 5:47SPEAKER_00: I know.
- 5:49SPEAKER_03: Make sure the kids are not home, they're with their friends, and yeah, and just have like a drunk slip and slide.
- 5:54SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 5:55SPEAKER_03: I co-sign that.
- 5:57SPEAKER_03: That I'll fly in for maybe.
- 5:59SPEAKER_00: But they're going on vacation in a bit with my mom, so maybe slip and slide.
- 6:08SPEAKER_03: I have the best ideas.
- 6:09SPEAKER_00: But my neighbors we met, I told you, we met the new neighbors.
- 6:13SPEAKER_00: They seem nice.
- 6:13SPEAKER_00: They'll probably be into that.
- 6:15SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 6:17SPEAKER_00: Alex, Alex approves.
- 6:20SPEAKER_00: He was like, what a nice guy.
- 6:22SPEAKER_00: He saw me outside and he immediately came right over and introduced himself.
- 6:26SPEAKER_00: I was like, because I I saw him t uh talking to the guy.
- 6:31SPEAKER_00: And um I texted him and I was like, oh, look at you making new friends.
- 6:36SPEAKER_00: He came inside, he was like, shut up.
- 6:40SPEAKER_00: He was like, no, but he seems really nice.
- 6:42SPEAKER_00: And I was like, okay, good.
- 6:43SPEAKER_00: Good.
- 6:45SPEAKER_03: Better than the last whack-a-doos.
- 6:47SPEAKER_03: I'm so proud of you.
- 6:48SPEAKER_00: I know.
- 6:49SPEAKER_00: See?
- 6:49SPEAKER_00: See?
- 6:50SPEAKER_00: And then I'm a good influence.
- 6:53SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but I'll tell you the other part out off the air.
- 6:56SPEAKER_03: Ooh, okay.
- 7:00SPEAKER_03: Where were we?
- 7:00SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 7:01SPEAKER_03: So the girls are watching the kids playing in the treehouse that Lisa doesn't have.
- 7:06SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 7:08SPEAKER_03: The ultimate playset outside of a park.
- 7:14SPEAKER_00: And they're That's how you know you moved up in the world when you have your own private playset with the treehouse.
- 7:20SPEAKER_03: Ooh.
- 7:20SPEAKER_03: I mean, not just any playset.
- 7:22SPEAKER_03: Like it has to be like a V playset.
- 7:24SPEAKER_03: Like, yeah.
- 7:25SPEAKER_00: Some people are like, no, you move up in the world when you can eat like caviar and have a private jet.
- 7:29SPEAKER_00: And I'm over here like, I just want a tree house.
- 7:32SPEAKER_03: I really no, it needs to be a hot tree house.
- 7:35SPEAKER_03: It can't be just like it needs to be like a B treehouse.
- 7:38SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's gotta have some electricity and string lights at least.
- 7:43SPEAKER_03: And maybe the refrigerator.
- 7:45SPEAKER_03: And downstairs of the treehouse would be the bar.
- 7:47SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 7:48SPEAKER_03: It'd be like a little condominium, like a duplex, you know?
- 7:53SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 7:53SPEAKER_03: Absolutely.
- 7:54SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 7:57SPEAKER_00: What are your tree house goals, people?
- 8:01SPEAKER_03: Yes, share, share with us your tree house goals.
- 8:05SPEAKER_03: So doing this, they're debating whether or not to tell Rio that his boy done flipped.
- 8:10SPEAKER_02: Mm-hmm.
- 8:11SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 8:12SPEAKER_03: Because they know doing so, the kid's gonna die.
- 8:18SPEAKER_03: So, in an attempt to humanize him, Annie reminds them that his name is Eddie, which I did not know.
- 8:24SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 8:25SPEAKER_03: He likes his mom, vintage watches, and Mexican food.
- 8:29SPEAKER_00: How okay?
- 8:30SPEAKER_00: I think the mom part because remember when they looked at his phone and everyone.
- 8:35SPEAKER_00: And every call was mom, and then there was like one Papa John's.
- 8:39SPEAKER_00: So I don't know how you get Mexican food when he also called Papa John's.
- 8:44SPEAKER_03: Maybe they've worked together in the interim.
- 8:46SPEAKER_03: That doesn't, I don't know.
- 8:49SPEAKER_03: But Annie's kind of like me in that people just tell her shit.
- 8:52SPEAKER_03: So I'm sure at one point in time, you know, she got all the all the deets.
- 8:58SPEAKER_03: Now I don't know what's wrong with Beth.
- 9:00SPEAKER_03: Because she's like, he's not gonna get killed.
- 9:03SPEAKER_03: Okay, girl.
- 9:05SPEAKER_03: Annie has to like have a come to Jesus moment with her and points out that telling Rio doesn't mean that they're going to go to couples' therapy to work it out.
- 9:17SPEAKER_03: Ruby reminds Beth that writing on Eddie is a line that once crossed, there's no return.
- 9:23SPEAKER_03: And then Beth goes, then we don't turn back.
- 9:26SPEAKER_03: I was like, okay, okay.
- 9:30SPEAKER_03: Alright.
- 9:32SPEAKER_00: She got a little gangster in here now.
- 9:34SPEAKER_00: Beth is like, she's there's a definite shift.
- 9:39SPEAKER_03: But is it really a shift?
- 9:41SPEAKER_03: It's just her real self coming out.
- 9:43SPEAKER_03: But yeah, I know, I get it.
- 9:44SPEAKER_03: I'm just being so at the Dandy Donuts, Ruby is finally getting the hang of working the drive-thru.
- 9:53SPEAKER_00: Working it with a W-E, okay?
- 9:56SPEAKER_03: Work.
- 9:57SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 9:58SPEAKER_00: Movie people, pick up the page.
- 10:00SPEAKER_00: I know.
- 10:01SPEAKER_00: I want to watch Charlie Brown or her because she probably understands what the adults are saying.
- 10:07SPEAKER_03: So you probably noticed it, but if you didn't, I'm I'm surprised.
- 10:12SPEAKER_03: The spouts on the soda fountain, you know, where they have like the type of soda, all has the dandy donut logo.
- 10:20SPEAKER_03: So how do they know what I didn't notice it?
- 10:24SPEAKER_03: I wonder, like, how do you know what drink to pull?
- 10:26SPEAKER_00: Like that you actually Yeah, that's a good point.
- 10:30SPEAKER_03: I mean, it's TV, but yeah.
- 10:33SPEAKER_03: They didn't think that one through.
- 10:36SPEAKER_03: Anywho, Ruby is doing such a dandy good job.
- 10:40SPEAKER_03: I'm sorry, I had to.
- 10:43SPEAKER_03: Of course you did.
- 10:45SPEAKER_03: Her five-year-old manager tells her that she's ready for the night shift.
- 10:49SPEAKER_03: And it's it's a promotion.
- 10:51SPEAKER_03: And you get oh, 75 cents more an hour.
- 10:54SPEAKER_03: Since when's the promotion a night shift?
- 10:56SPEAKER_03: I mean, what's since when's since when's the night shift a promotion?
- 11:00SPEAKER_03: I I know.
- 11:01SPEAKER_03: Yeah, there's definition pay, but it's not a promotion.
- 11:04SPEAKER_03: But anywho, she's like, no, I have two kids, and then the phone starts ringing.
- 11:12SPEAKER_03: And she's screaming, yes, and he's all excited.
- 11:17SPEAKER_03: The next scene is they're at all at home, and Sarah got a donor.
- 11:21SPEAKER_03: Okay, she's at the top of the list, so that means she gets that the phone to call when the donor comes ready.
- 11:32SPEAKER_03: Yes, and that's a very struggle situation to be in.
- 11:35SPEAKER_00: And she was like, Can I get Instagram?
- 11:37SPEAKER_00: And they're like, the They're like, we're trying to get you a kidney, bitch.
- 11:43SPEAKER_03: I like the fact that she's worried about Instagram, though, because that's what she should be worried about.
- 11:48SPEAKER_03: But that situation is really nerve-wracking because this no matter where you're at, the second you get that call, you have to drop and run to the hospital.
- 11:56SPEAKER_00: And then they were talking about the prepayment.
- 11:59SPEAKER_00: I didn't know that that was a thing.
- 12:01SPEAKER_03: Um, I'm thinking with surgeries like this, possibly.
- 12:06SPEAKER_00: I am I'm not surprised, which is because it's like even sadder.
- 12:11SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 12:12SPEAKER_00: Like, oh, we have the kidney that can save your life.
- 12:14SPEAKER_00: Oh, I'm sorry, you don't have eighty-seven thousand dollars.
- 12:17SPEAKER_03: And that's 20% out of the deductible.
- 12:19SPEAKER_03: Can you imagine the whole thing?
- 12:21SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 12:21SPEAKER_00: But like, well, then maybe you should be purchasing a coffin instead of a kidney.
- 12:27SPEAKER_00: Like, then they tell you you can't buy organs, but that sure is what it sounds like.
- 12:32SPEAKER_00: Right?
- 12:33SPEAKER_00: You can't purchase an organ.
- 12:35SPEAKER_00: That's illegal.
- 12:36SPEAKER_00: But if you can't pay me this money, we can't give you the organ.
- 12:41SPEAKER_00: I mean, doesn't that sound like purchasing an organ?
- 12:45SPEAKER_00: I mean, you're purchasing You are purchasing it because if you can't pay for it, they're not giving it to you.
- 12:51SPEAKER_00: And that's pretty much how supermarkets work.
- 12:53SPEAKER_03: Well, there's also paying for like the doctors, the nurses, that's I mean, listen.
- 12:59SPEAKER_03: I'm just I'm did I say it's right?
- 13:01SPEAKER_03: No, but it's not the same thing, you know.
- 13:03SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 13:04SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 13:04SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but when you go to the supermarket to purchase your milk, your eggs, and your fabric softener, part of the markup on the prices goes to cover all the stuff in the supermarket, right?
- 13:16SPEAKER_00: The salaries and marketing and all that, right?
- 13:20SPEAKER_00: But if you can't give them your money, they're not letting you leave with your milk, your eggs, and your fabric softener.
- 13:28SPEAKER_00: So tell me how it's really, really different.
- 13:32SPEAKER_00: Good old American healthcare.
- 13:34SPEAKER_00: Fuck you, die because you can't pay for this kidney.
- 13:39SPEAKER_00: I'm just saying.
- 13:41SPEAKER_00: It just sucks when I say it.
- 13:43SPEAKER_00: It sounds better when you say, like, oh, they don't have insurance and the copay is high.
- 13:49SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 13:50SPEAKER_00: We we say it in nicer terms and make people think like, you know, we're we we could choose freedom and no, you're fucking dying, and you're fucking getting played, and and we cheer for it.
- 14:02SPEAKER_00: Okay, I'm done.
- 14:04SPEAKER_00: Agnes is staring at me like she wants to roll her eyes at me and my mug.
- 14:09SPEAKER_03: Stan and Ruby is giving her her cell phone.
- 14:12SPEAKER_03: Um, so she gets the call.
- 14:16SPEAKER_03: And in Ruby and Stan fashion, they celebrate with the song and dance.
- 14:20SPEAKER_03: That's their thing.
- 14:22SPEAKER_03: I don't remember how the beat went, but it's top of the list.
- 14:26SPEAKER_03: New kidney.
- 14:27SPEAKER_03: And I don't remember how it went.
- 14:29SPEAKER_03: But it was very catchy.
- 14:31SPEAKER_03: And I think they need to start it.
- 14:32SPEAKER_03: I need they need to get an album.
- 14:34SPEAKER_03: I think I was by that.
- 14:36SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 14:38SPEAKER_03: So Sarah's looking at them like, what the fuck?
- 14:40SPEAKER_03: These are my parents.
- 14:42SPEAKER_03: And she goes, Can I go do homework?
- 14:45SPEAKER_00: You know it's bad when your kid wants to go do their homework.
- 14:47SPEAKER_03: And Ruby's like, oh my God, I love you.
- 14:49SPEAKER_03: You're such a nerd.
- 14:52SPEAKER_03: After the kids go to their rooms, Ruby and Stan get down to business discussing this situation.
- 15:01SPEAKER_03: As we're just talking about before, the insurance aren't going to cover part of it.
- 15:06SPEAKER_03: And so they come up with almost$100,000 out of their pocket.
- 15:12SPEAKER_03: Stan nudges her gently on whether or not she's heard from corporate regarding her secret shopping business.
- 15:17SPEAKER_03: But we know business is still on hold.
- 15:22SPEAKER_03: At Beth's house, Annie and Dean are starting to feel the walls close in on them.
- 15:26SPEAKER_03: They're bickering back and forth.
- 15:28SPEAKER_00: Right, because Annie is staying there.
- 15:31SPEAKER_00: Because Sadie's away.
- 15:33SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 15:33SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 15:33SPEAKER_00: And Dean is like, well, why are you here?
- 15:35SPEAKER_00: And she's like, well, why are you here?
- 15:38SPEAKER_03: Well, I live here, but do you?
- 15:42SPEAKER_00: Just because your name is on the deed.
- 15:44SPEAKER_00: I mean, come on.
- 15:45SPEAKER_03: I mean, really.
- 15:46SPEAKER_03: That means nothing.
- 15:48SPEAKER_03: So Annie's staying there because she can't be alone with Sadie's at Greg.
- 15:52SPEAKER_03: So before they can actually go at like cats and dogs, which I don't really think they go at it as bad as people think.
- 15:59SPEAKER_03: I I know.
- 16:00SPEAKER_03: No.
- 16:27SPEAKER_00: I've seen worse.
- 16:28SPEAKER_00: I've seen my own sister and my husband go at it.
- 16:31SPEAKER_03: Really?
- 16:33SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 16:33SPEAKER_00: There's been some incidence.
- 16:37SPEAKER_03: That's definitely um offline conversation.
- 16:42SPEAKER_03: So before they can get into it, Beth pulls Annie away so they can meet Rio at the at an abandoned loading dock.
- 16:50SPEAKER_03: No problem.
- 16:51SPEAKER_03: Everybody's fine, right?
- 16:53SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 16:54SPEAKER_03: Totally normal.
- 16:55SPEAKER_03: Totally normal.
- 16:56SPEAKER_03: Rio tells the girls he needs them to go pick up a truck at a garage.
- 17:01SPEAKER_03: When Beth asks him what's in it, he tells her it's none of a concern.
- 17:05SPEAKER_03: Beth starts to broast the topic of Eddie, but Ruby cuts her off.
- 17:10SPEAKER_03: When Annie then tries to bring up the snitch, Rio goes impatient and asks if they're are they down to do this or not.
- 17:19SPEAKER_03: Hey, we got 99 problems, but this bitch ain't one.
- 17:24SPEAKER_03: Thank you, Ruby.
- 17:26SPEAKER_03: And she's like, she asks for the keys.
- 17:30SPEAKER_03: On the way to the parking garage, Beth confesses that she thinks they're going to get pinched the second they pull away with the truck.
- 17:38SPEAKER_03: Ruby tells him that Sarah will be bumped off the list if they don't get the money.
- 17:42SPEAKER_03: So they need to pay up front before the surgery.
- 17:46SPEAKER_03: Annie asks if they can finance it, but Beth makes fun of her.
- 17:50SPEAKER_03: It's a kidney, not a refrigerator.
- 17:52SPEAKER_03: Although that's not a bad thing to that a bad question.
- 17:57SPEAKER_00: Of course not, right?
- 17:59SPEAKER_00: Like if you can't if you can only survive by paying this money, then yeah, there should be a fucking payment plan because that's a lot of fucking money.
- 18:10SPEAKER_03: I medical loans or some shit.
- 18:15SPEAKER_00: And not only that, but like the their bill was$87,000.
- 18:20SPEAKER_00: Honestly, if the bill was$8,700, I'd probably still be like, where am I putting?
- 18:26SPEAKER_00: I mean, easier to get, but I'd still be wondering where the fuck am I gonna get this money.
- 18:30SPEAKER_00: That's a lot of money.
- 18:32SPEAKER_00: I for a lot of people.
- 18:34SPEAKER_00: For most people.
- 18:35SPEAKER_00: There's not many people.
- 18:36SPEAKER_03: For 99% of people.
- 18:38SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 18:39SPEAKER_00: There's not many people that can afford anything, you know, any any amount that requires a comma.
- 18:48SPEAKER_00: Any dollar amount that has a comma in it, it's it's a tough, it's a tough bill, you know, for for many of us, myself included.
- 18:57SPEAKER_00: So never mind if it was like life-saving procedure.
- 19:03SPEAKER_00: I I mean I'd I'd be finding the bestest corner in America to go sell my ass on.
- 19:09SPEAKER_03: And then I'll sell someone.
- 19:13SPEAKER_03: We'll sell each other's asses.
- 19:15SPEAKER_00: There you go.
- 19:16SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 19:16SPEAKER_00: Come on, Stella, we gotta go sell our asses.
- 19:21SPEAKER_03: The truck is a yellow moving truck parked on the roof level of a parking garage.
- 19:26SPEAKER_03: The girls debate what's in it.
- 19:28SPEAKER_03: Annie guesses, dozens of bodies.
- 19:32SPEAKER_03: And Ruby's ready to get back to business and demands the keys from Beth.
- 19:36SPEAKER_03: Beth makes a suggestion that compels Ruby to consider asking Stan if he and his cop friends have an eye on the truck potentially filled with dead bodies.
- 19:47SPEAKER_03: Well, I would be a little bit more subtle, but yeah, that's your call.
- 19:51unknown: Yeah.
- 19:53SPEAKER_00: This shit was so funny.
- 19:55SPEAKER_00: Huh?
- 19:56SPEAKER_00: That shit was so funny.
- 19:58SPEAKER_00: When we get to it, yeah.
- 19:59SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 20:02SPEAKER_03: Still the dutiful employee, this is what Lisa was talking about earlier.
- 20:07SPEAKER_03: And he's back at the checkout at the Lisa.
- 20:10SPEAKER_03: I call it the Lisa.
- 20:12SPEAKER_03: It will forever be known as the Lisa.
- 20:14SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 20:16SPEAKER_03: And here comes Mary Pat, and at that my stomach just groaned.
- 20:20SPEAKER_03: I was like, uh.
- 20:22SPEAKER_00: Every time this bitch shows up, every single fucking time this bitch walks into a scene, I'm like, this bitch.
- 20:30SPEAKER_03: This bitch here.
- 20:35SPEAKER_03: So she tells one of her sons to go get baby formula.
- 20:38SPEAKER_03: She goes, not the organic one.
- 20:40SPEAKER_03: And she goes, a few pesticides, a few pesticides never hurt anybody.
- 20:45SPEAKER_00: I have a question.
- 20:46SPEAKER_03: I have an answer.
- 20:47SPEAKER_00: Is baby formula like animal food?
- 20:51SPEAKER_00: Like, can you just change it?
- 20:53SPEAKER_00: Or do you have to like wean?
- 20:56SPEAKER_00: Like if you're feeding your kid Formula A, right?
- 21:02SPEAKER_00: And then you run out of formula A, tomorrow can you just start Formula B?
- 21:08SPEAKER_03: If the baby doesn't have any issues, like if the baby doesn't need like a particular brand, like you know, sometimes you need like a you know Okay.
- 21:16SPEAKER_03: All right.
- 21:17SPEAKER_00: No, I I don't I don't mean to be stupid.
- 21:19SPEAKER_00: Like I always thought that you couldn't change like you know how like when you change your your pet's food, you can't you shouldn't just like open a new bag and start a new thing because it can fuck with their stomach.
- 21:29SPEAKER_00: So you you yeah, you gradually introduce it.
- 21:32SPEAKER_00: Oh like a little bit, a little bit, and then gradually like you know, like tw like 90 10, 80 20, 70 30 until until it gets to the new one.
- 21:43SPEAKER_03: Ultimately, with all brands, they all have like each brand has the low iron.
- 21:50SPEAKER_03: Each brand has their like like brand A and brand B will all have all the different types of formulas.
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: So unless it's like a soy or something like that, then it shouldn't be.
- 22:04SPEAKER_03: But even then, brand A and brand B and brand C will all have their soy.
- 22:08SPEAKER_03: So you're like fuck.
- 22:10SPEAKER_00: So it's okay.
- 22:11SPEAKER_03: So and then like okay, they're out of that brand.
- 22:13SPEAKER_03: You get the next best brand soy.
- 22:15SPEAKER_00: I'm not trying to be like a jerk.
- 22:16SPEAKER_00: I'm just like, I'm so confused because I really thought you couldn't do that.
- 22:19SPEAKER_03: No, because it because everyone's gonna have their complete or their Yeah, you're like fuck.
- 22:25SPEAKER_03: I I I don't I don't know anything.
- 22:27SPEAKER_03: I wouldn't now I you don't change from if you're doing a complete whatever that whichever brand you use, don't go to a different one unless you kind of have to.
- 22:37SPEAKER_03: You know, okay being fat is better than no feeding at all.
- 22:40SPEAKER_00: No, of course, of course.
- 22:42SPEAKER_00: But that's why I was like, so when I was watching the scene, I was like trying to understand if if she really was sending the kid to get a formula because she needed a formula, or if she was just trying to get rid of the kid.
- 22:56SPEAKER_03: Probably a little bit of both.
- 22:57SPEAKER_00: So but yeah.
- 22:59SPEAKER_00: So that's why I was like, don't you have to get like a specific brand?
- 23:03SPEAKER_00: Because you clearly the kid has been around, right?
- 23:07SPEAKER_00: So like, don't you have to get the same brand that the kid's already been eating?
- 23:10SPEAKER_00: So that's why I was trying to under I guess I was just trying to understand the scene better.
- 23:16SPEAKER_03: And this kid probably has to probably knows which formula they're getting anyway, to be honest with you.
- 23:21SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's true.
- 23:21SPEAKER_00: That's true.
- 23:23SPEAKER_03: So this is when she starts laying it on thick and only the way Mary Pat can.
- 23:28SPEAKER_03: She's like, Do you know how a hot water heater works?
- 23:32SPEAKER_03: She's like, It heats up water.
- 23:36SPEAKER_02: Good job.
- 23:36SPEAKER_03: So that costs almost$10,000 to fix.
- 23:39SPEAKER_03: And then it was like$8,600 for to fix it.
- 23:43SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it was like a little over$10,000.
- 23:45SPEAKER_03: And then the machine for the flood.
- 23:50SPEAKER_03: And she goes, She's like, we just gave you$10,000.
- 23:54SPEAKER_03: Like the fuck?
- 23:54SPEAKER_03: Figure that shit out.
- 23:56SPEAKER_03: Which to be fair, figure that shit out.
- 23:58SPEAKER_03: Like you have$10,000, you normally wouldn't have had it all.
- 24:02SPEAKER_03: Exactly.
- 24:03SPEAKER_03: Exactly.
- 24:04SPEAKER_03: At least you're breaking even.
- 24:07SPEAKER_03: So she's obviously asking for free groceries.
- 24:10SPEAKER_03: And of course, Annie Annie's is like, fuck you.
- 24:13SPEAKER_03: That's not happening.
- 24:14SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 24:15SPEAKER_03: And she calls over the loudspeaker, asks for a restock at her register.
- 24:20SPEAKER_03: And of course, boomer looks over and sees what's going on.
- 24:25SPEAKER_03: Fucking creepoid.
- 24:28SPEAKER_00: And then like this bitch is like, well, don't you have an emergency account, a house account, uh, I'll keep you out of jail account.
- 24:35SPEAKER_00: Jail account.
- 24:36SPEAKER_03: I would have jumped over the fucking register and throttled the bitch.
- 24:38SPEAKER_03: You would have given, I would have given you a reason to have me arrested.
- 24:42SPEAKER_03: And it would have been.
- 24:55SPEAKER_00: And that's when Annie takes the money out of her wallet and pays the bill.
- 25:02SPEAKER_00: And Boomer is seeing the whole thing.
- 25:04SPEAKER_00: And it looked, it was like, wait, it kind of looks like Boomer is like, what is going on?
- 25:09SPEAKER_00: Almost feeling sorry.
- 25:12SPEAKER_00: But like more than a lot of people.
- 25:17SPEAKER_03: I think he's like, is this a way to get to Annie?
- 25:19SPEAKER_03: He's like, what is this?
- 25:20SPEAKER_03: Is this a way to fuck over Annie more?
- 25:24SPEAKER_00: Well, that's right.
- 25:25SPEAKER_00: Because that's where it went to.
- 25:27SPEAKER_00: But like at that point, it was just confusing to me because Boomer was just showing a face that I guess I registered as what is going on?
- 25:40SPEAKER_00: Like it was almost pity.
- 25:42SPEAKER_00: Like it almost looked like that.
- 25:44SPEAKER_03: I didn't see that.
- 25:44SPEAKER_03: No, okay.
- 25:45SPEAKER_03: I didn't see that.
- 25:46SPEAKER_03: I saw like as an opportunity.
- 25:49SPEAKER_03: Like, what is this?
- 25:50SPEAKER_03: Is this that's how I'm like, no.
- 25:52SPEAKER_03: Maybe because it's boomerang there's no pity in boomerang.
- 25:54SPEAKER_00: And maybe it's because you saw it.
- 25:57SPEAKER_03: Like a couple years ago.
- 25:59SPEAKER_03: Like, and I don't remember.
- 26:01SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but you still know the I don't remember what happened.
- 26:05SPEAKER_03: Oh, okay.
- 26:07SPEAKER_03: I don't remember that like once you have it, I'm like, oh yeah, but I don't Okay.
- 26:13SPEAKER_03: Lisa, I don't remember the episodes and the day after I watched them.
- 26:18SPEAKER_03: When we're doing these recordings.
- 26:19SPEAKER_03: So Okay.
- 26:24SPEAKER_00: So I work with the goldfish.
- 26:27SPEAKER_03: I'm I to be fair, I remember important things.
- 26:32SPEAKER_03: I yeah.
- 26:34SPEAKER_00: Remember my name.
- 26:36SPEAKER_00: So I guess there's that.
- 26:37SPEAKER_03: There you go, Lisa.
- 26:38SPEAKER_03: I foc I know what's important in life.
- 26:42SPEAKER_03: How to make the best mixed drinks.
- 26:45SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 26:46SPEAKER_03: That's important.
- 26:49SPEAKER_03: So trying to do recon work on her own husband, Ruby turns to Mary Jane for help.
- 26:54SPEAKER_03: Oh, yes, she does.
- 26:56SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 26:58SPEAKER_03: The pod is from 2003.
- 27:01SPEAKER_03: And I don't uh but it's leftovers from there, like Nelly concert.
- 27:08SPEAKER_00: Nelly concert.
- 27:10SPEAKER_03: So she works her magic with it's getting hot in here.
- 27:15SPEAKER_03: Ooh.
- 27:15SPEAKER_03: Um, so she's doing her little thing.
- 27:17SPEAKER_03: Stan is all for it.
- 27:20SPEAKER_00: Well, at first he's like, I shouldn't even be looking at that, Ruby.
- 27:22SPEAKER_00: I'm a cop.
- 27:24SPEAKER_03: As he's getting into Ruby's little performance.
- 27:28SPEAKER_00: I mean, he is still a man.
- 27:29SPEAKER_03: He's that's his wife, that's his he's a man, and he's like, yes.
- 27:33SPEAKER_03: Meanwhile, back at the farm, Dean is trying to work his own magic with the desk that on the surface looks like a space where Beth can do her arts and crafts, but really it hides her stash, her cash stash.
- 27:47SPEAKER_03: I'm like, okay, that's kind of cool.
- 27:49SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I was like, at first, I was like, what the fuck is that thing?
- 27:54SPEAKER_00: Why is it so awkward?
- 27:56SPEAKER_00: It looks like a great craft desk.
- 27:58SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 27:58SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but like, and then it's kind of sitting in front of a bookcase.
- 28:01SPEAKER_00: Like, why would you to me I'd be like, this is beautiful craftsmanship, but why the fuck is it right here?
- 28:06SPEAKER_00: Like, why is it not in a in a room, in a corner, in whatever?
- 28:10SPEAKER_00: And then when he pulls it out, I was like, oh Tina, I see you.
- 28:13SPEAKER_00: Oh, I like that.
- 28:14SPEAKER_03: He has his moments.
- 28:15SPEAKER_03: I'm like, he's a douche, but he's not a he's not like bad, but you know.
- 28:19SPEAKER_00: Right, right.
- 28:20SPEAKER_00: He's not a he's not a bad person.
- 28:22SPEAKER_00: He's a bad husband.
- 28:24SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 28:24SPEAKER_00: There you go.
- 28:25SPEAKER_03: I couldn't get the right wordings, but yes, exactly what it is.
- 28:29SPEAKER_03: Beth sadly brings up not having anything to stash anymore.
- 28:32SPEAKER_03: But Dean goes, oh, you will.
- 28:34unknown: Thank you.
- 28:37SPEAKER_03: I love Beth for them.
- 28:39SPEAKER_03: I need that in my life.
- 28:41SPEAKER_03: So Dean is seeing her as less of a boy and housewife and more of a badass.
- 28:46SPEAKER_03: That gave Dean some brownie points with her.
- 28:50SPEAKER_03: She's like, okay, I love it.
- 28:52SPEAKER_03: And of course, Annie's gonna be sick looking at all this shit.
- 28:56SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 28:56SPEAKER_03: And she goes to her nephew, you know, the girl praying mantis eats the boy after having sex.
- 29:03SPEAKER_03: She just spikes his weenie, his weenie little head off.
- 29:09SPEAKER_03: Because you know, because even though it just ain't the head off, the body can still kind of like function a little bit.
- 29:15SPEAKER_03: So yeah, that's amazing.
- 29:17SPEAKER_00: Well, because the kid was like doing some assignment about bugs.
- 29:20SPEAKER_00: So that's why she was like, You want a fun bug fact?
- 29:25SPEAKER_00: The Dean and Beth are like looking at her like a little mortified.
- 29:30SPEAKER_03: I think that was a cool fun fact.
- 29:32SPEAKER_03: And I would, and I think I've told Axel that fun fact, but not using the S E X word.
- 29:38SPEAKER_03: He thought it was cool.
- 29:41SPEAKER_03: He's a little boy.
- 29:42SPEAKER_03: After the sisters argue about Dean trying to weasel his way back into the marriage, Annie even goes as far as to tell Beth that he lucked out on having cancer before reminding her that he cheated on her and almost left their family homeless.
- 29:58SPEAKER_03: In a tough love moment, she makes Beth say out loud what Dean brought his mistress.
- 30:03SPEAKER_03: And after Beth's, and after Beth says underwear, Annie snaps back, nah, that was not underwear, baby girl.
- 30:10SPEAKER_03: That was bedazzled vagina flaws.
- 30:12SPEAKER_03: I was like, I'm going to have to remember that.
- 30:15SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 30:16SPEAKER_03: Annie then says, What we've all what we've I know you thought about it.
- 30:20SPEAKER_03: I've thought about it.
- 30:21SPEAKER_03: We've all said it.
- 30:23SPEAKER_03: You can't do both.
- 30:24SPEAKER_03: You can't be the sweet little wifey and then also badass criminal, boss lady.
- 30:28SPEAKER_03: Which you kind of.
- 30:31SPEAKER_00: I mean, I think when it's with the right employees in place.
- 30:36SPEAKER_03: I think with Dean, I think it's ultimately you can't have like because you're never Dean is never going to get the Beth before.
- 30:46SPEAKER_03: So you can't have both.
- 30:47SPEAKER_03: I think I took it as you can't have both.
- 30:50SPEAKER_00: You can't have your old life and your new life.
- 30:53SPEAKER_00: It's not that you can't have both.
- 30:54SPEAKER_00: Both.
- 30:55SPEAKER_00: But you can't have these two things together.
- 30:58SPEAKER_03: And I that's how I took it.
- 31:00SPEAKER_00: You know, it's like planting tomatoes and peppers next to each other.
- 31:03SPEAKER_00: You can grow tomatoes and peppers, you just can't grow next to them.
- 31:06SPEAKER_00: Next to each other.
- 31:07SPEAKER_00: I didn't know that.
- 31:08SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 31:09SPEAKER_00: Something about the families, the soils, and anyway.
- 31:12SPEAKER_00: Oh, that makes sense.
- 31:14SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 31:16SPEAKER_03: Beth goes, that's not like Karma San Diego.
- 31:19SPEAKER_03: Annie goes, you should be, you should be so cool.
- 31:21SPEAKER_03: Like, that's the life goal.
- 31:23SPEAKER_03: Her b her trench and the hat.
- 31:26SPEAKER_03: I want to be Karma San Diego.
- 31:28SPEAKER_03: I know.
- 31:29SPEAKER_00: She travels all around the world.
- 31:31SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 31:32SPEAKER_00: From London to La Visa.
- 31:39SPEAKER_03: Back at Ruby's and Stands, they're laid out in the bed, faded.
- 31:44SPEAKER_03: Um, just looking at it.
- 31:46SPEAKER_00: If Rockapella is out there, you could come, we'll do a spotlight.
- 31:50SPEAKER_00: Sorry.
- 31:59SPEAKER_02: Okay, sorry.
- 32:05SPEAKER_02: I'm done.
- 32:06SPEAKER_02: I'm done.
- 32:08SPEAKER_00: Sorry.
- 32:10SPEAKER_03: I think that needs to be put in the beginning of the episode, the middle, and at the end.
- 32:15SPEAKER_03: Like it just needs to be popped in.
- 32:16SPEAKER_03: Oh, all of it.
- 32:17SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 32:18SPEAKER_03: Your singing needs to be just popped in sporadically through the episode.
- 32:20SPEAKER_03: I love that.
- 32:25SPEAKER_00: If only I could sing, I would do it more.
- 32:29SPEAKER_00: So?
- 32:30SPEAKER_00: Who said you can't?
- 32:32SPEAKER_03: They heard me.
- 32:33SPEAKER_02: I mean, all the universe.
- 32:36SPEAKER_03: Who's to say that this is not the right way to sing and everyone else has it wrong?
- 32:39SPEAKER_03: Mm-hmm.
- 32:41SPEAKER_00: Probably a lot of chinaware and crystal and mirrors.
- 32:45SPEAKER_03: Oh, we match! I just noticed that.
- 32:47SPEAKER_03: Why is mine so faded?
- 32:49SPEAKER_00: You probably wash yours more.
- 32:54SPEAKER_03: I even turned it inside out, but any I was just, and I looked over.
- 32:57SPEAKER_03: I'm like, oh wait.
- 32:59SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 33:01SPEAKER_03: We've been recording for how long now?
- 33:03SPEAKER_03: And it took me.
- 33:06SPEAKER_03: So San has the munchies and he goes to the kitchen to get the cheese puffs and cookie dough.
- 33:12SPEAKER_03: Life, life goals right now.
- 33:15SPEAKER_00: I I was so like, that is relationship goals.
- 33:19SPEAKER_00: Okay, first of all, they're like they're high as fuck.
- 33:22SPEAKER_00: They're laying in bed just listening to the song on repeat.
- 33:26SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 33:27SPEAKER_00: They're not even doing anything.
- 33:28SPEAKER_00: They were like fully clothed, listening to the song repeat.
- 33:31SPEAKER_00: Fucked up.
- 33:32SPEAKER_00: And then they're like, you get the munchies, and he's eating the cheese puffs and he's feeding her.
- 33:37SPEAKER_00: And I was like, that is just like so cute, you know.
- 33:41SPEAKER_03: I yeah, I'm gonna cry now.
- 33:45SPEAKER_03: So when he goes to the kitchen, Ruby calls Annie.
- 33:48SPEAKER_03: She goes, I forgot.
- 33:50SPEAKER_03: Yeah, you forgot what?
- 33:52SPEAKER_03: Why I got him.
- 33:56SPEAKER_03: And I was like, oh my god, that's an actus move right there.
- 34:00SPEAKER_03: I'm like, Lisa, what am I supposed to be doing again?
- 34:04SPEAKER_03: Uh-huh.
- 34:07SPEAKER_03: I feel like we've been watched and like they took us in place They made a show about us.
- 34:13SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 34:16SPEAKER_03: She Ruby asked Annie, well, can't you just ask him?
- 34:21SPEAKER_03: I'll put you on speaker.
- 34:24SPEAKER_03: That might be a little weird.
- 34:26SPEAKER_03: Um she said, just dip it in there.
- 34:29SPEAKER_03: No big deal.
- 34:31SPEAKER_03: And then, because she's oh so subtle, as soon as he gets back with the good, she goes, Hey babe, that gangster kid that you all flipped.
- 34:39SPEAKER_03: So you said something about a truck or something?
- 34:42SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 34:43SPEAKER_00: Very subtle, Ruby.
- 34:44SPEAKER_00: Very subtle.
- 34:46SPEAKER_00: The CIA is looking for you now, right?
- 34:48SPEAKER_00: They're like, we're meant to hire her.
- 34:50SPEAKER_03: And then the look at his face, and I'm just like, oh.
- 34:53SPEAKER_03: And he goes, Okay, so this is what happened.
- 34:56SPEAKER_03: I was.
- 35:00SPEAKER_00: I know he he was like so excited to talk about it.
- 35:03SPEAKER_03: She goes, he taught, he likes to talk when he's high.
- 35:05SPEAKER_03: I'm like, he's like, okay, here's the scoop.
- 35:11SPEAKER_03: Oh.
- 35:13SPEAKER_03: So he goes, okay, we sit this kid down, and before we can even start, my man's acting like he's about to be waterboarded.
- 35:20SPEAKER_03: And he starts telling everything.
- 35:22SPEAKER_03: He was he's singing and he's he's telling about all this other shit.
- 35:27SPEAKER_03: And then here comes Boomer.
- 35:28SPEAKER_03: Next scene, Boomer's.
- 35:30SPEAKER_03: Yeah, but she kept, didn't she keep asking?
- 35:32SPEAKER_00: She was like, what, nothing about a truck?
- 35:33SPEAKER_00: She did a couple of times.
- 35:34SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 35:35SPEAKER_00: And then he just kind of like ignored it.
- 35:38SPEAKER_03: Yeah, because he was just all he was just focusing on like he said this and he said that.
- 35:43SPEAKER_03: He was talking, he um so you really don't know.
- 35:48SPEAKER_03: So Boomer's trying to get Tyler, the clueless security guard, to tell him about Mary Pat.
- 35:54SPEAKER_03: Because when Mary Pat was um holding Annie for ransom with the groceries, she saw they, Tyler and Mary Pat apparently know each other and they give each other a hug.
- 36:07SPEAKER_03: Hello, hey, all that great stuff.
- 36:10SPEAKER_03: And Boomer, being the douchebag that he is, is trying to find out information about Mary Pat.
- 36:16SPEAKER_03: Tyler knows him from his side job, which is oh right.
- 36:20SPEAKER_03: They were all they were doing the I forgot they knew each other from the um Are you serious?
- 36:26SPEAKER_03: I had a fucking braid fart.
- 36:27SPEAKER_00: Leave me alone from the You know, from the secret shoppers.
- 36:34SPEAKER_03: I'm such an asshole.
- 36:36SPEAKER_00: What the fuck did you think he meant?
- 36:39SPEAKER_03: I was like, oh no, the job, whatever.
- 36:42SPEAKER_00: Oh my god.
- 36:43SPEAKER_03: Lisa, I think you need to fire me.
- 36:48SPEAKER_00: Like all right.
- 36:52SPEAKER_00: Because I'll be honest, right?
- 36:53SPEAKER_00: Like, I didn't immediately connect Mary Pat and Tyler.
- 36:57SPEAKER_00: But then once he said Oh, I saw you give him her a hug or whatever, and I was like, oh right, they call each other from Beth's living room.
- 37:06SPEAKER_03: I forgot all about that shit.
- 37:12SPEAKER_00: Are you gonna write me up?
- 37:13SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 37:14SPEAKER_03: Pow spinky too.
- 37:17SPEAKER_03: Okay, that I would like.
- 37:26SPEAKER_03: I'm such an asshole.
- 37:30SPEAKER_03: So it's obvious Tyler's not gonna tell what the side job is.
- 37:34SPEAKER_03: Um, duh.
- 37:35SPEAKER_00: Um I mean Tyler really could have just said, oh, like secret shopper.
- 37:42SPEAKER_03: But it was I so funny.
- 37:45SPEAKER_03: I'm glad he didn't though, but I'm some dumbass.
- 37:48SPEAKER_03: I'm sorry.
- 37:50SPEAKER_03: Boomer tries a different tact and tells Tyler that Mary Pat forgot her club card.
- 37:55SPEAKER_03: Tyler continues to be less than helpful though, as he doesn't have Mary Pat's phone number anyway.
- 38:01SPEAKER_03: But he follows her on Instagram.
- 38:04SPEAKER_03: Okay, so next scene, Ruby's being grilled by Annie and Beth, and they're trying to figure out what the cops know.
- 38:13SPEAKER_00: And she goes, I don't even that bad.
- 38:15SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 38:16SPEAKER_00: Annie is so funny.
- 38:17SPEAKER_00: She's like, okay, let's do the test.
- 38:19SPEAKER_00: She was like, Do you remember calling me last night?
- 38:21SPEAKER_00: She's like, yes.
- 38:27SPEAKER_00: And then she's like, but do you what did she say?
- 38:29SPEAKER_00: She said something.
- 38:30SPEAKER_00: I was like, Do you remember why?
- 38:31SPEAKER_00: Why?
- 38:32SPEAKER_03: And then she looked confused.
- 38:33SPEAKER_03: She's like, Yeah.
- 38:36SPEAKER_03: She was like, So this is a dead end.
- 38:40SPEAKER_03: I mean, she's like, I don't remember anything by a truck being said.
- 38:43SPEAKER_03: So she's pretty sure that it was safe.
- 38:46SPEAKER_03: I mean, um, and then they start asking her for the percentage of certainty.
- 38:53SPEAKER_03: And when birth control starts, the stats for birth control comes up.
- 38:58unknown: Yeah.
- 38:59SPEAKER_03: And he tells them that the pill is like 91% effective for most people.
- 39:03SPEAKER_03: Ruby responds, for you was zero.
- 39:08SPEAKER_00: So they say they're gonna fuck it, they're gonna take the chance of the truck.
- 39:11SPEAKER_00: Well, I you see, I have to say something, right?
- 39:14SPEAKER_00: Here's a hot take.
- 39:15SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 39:16SPEAKER_00: Stan and Ruby, they got such a cute relationship.
- 39:19SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 39:20SPEAKER_00: Like really, really cute.
- 39:22SPEAKER_00: But, okay, at least I know that if I was in Ruby's position and Alice was in Stan's position, I'd be like, babe, I need to go do some gang shit.
- 39:33SPEAKER_00: So, like, can you and he'd be like, all right, bet here, here's the information.
- 39:37SPEAKER_03: Like, but I love Alex, and I don't mean this in a I don't mean this in a bad way.
- 39:42SPEAKER_03: I mean this in the best possible way.
- 39:44SPEAKER_03: Oh, okay.
- 39:44SPEAKER_03: Because you know my life.
- 39:46SPEAKER_03: Um, Alice is in a goody two shoes, though.
- 39:49SPEAKER_03: He's not surrealist.
- 39:51SPEAKER_00: So I don't think he would be a cop, period.
- 39:56SPEAKER_00: But if he was, he would definitely give me the information.
- 40:01SPEAKER_03: Absolutely.
- 40:02SPEAKER_03: He would probably give it to you before you knew you needed it.
- 40:04SPEAKER_03: Hey, babe.
- 40:06SPEAKER_03: Knock, knock, knock.
- 40:08SPEAKER_00: Hey, stupid.
- 40:08SPEAKER_00: I'll come, I'll start coming home with money and bands, and he'd be like, the fuck did you get this from?
- 40:13SPEAKER_00: What are we and and what are we doing now?
- 40:16SPEAKER_00: And what's the next what's next on the list?
- 40:18SPEAKER_00: What's the next plan?
- 40:20SPEAKER_03: I think I got that.
- 40:22SPEAKER_03: I think I I think that's I think that don't say anymore.
- 40:28SPEAKER_03: Keep going.
- 40:29SPEAKER_03: The look on your face is just ew cold.
- 40:36SPEAKER_03: No, it don't jinx it.
- 40:38SPEAKER_03: Uh-huh.
- 40:40SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 40:40SPEAKER_03: So after decided that they're going to go ahead and get the truck.
- 40:44SPEAKER_03: Beth suggests drawing straws to see who will drive.
- 40:48SPEAKER_03: Annie says she always loses at straws and would rather do rock, paper, scissors.
- 40:52SPEAKER_03: But Beth points out, you can't do it with three people.
- 40:55SPEAKER_03: And he goes, Well, why not?
- 40:56SPEAKER_03: She goes, It's math.
- 41:00SPEAKER_03: But you could you can do three.
- 41:02SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 41:03SPEAKER_03: Two and two.
- 41:04SPEAKER_03: Knock out one, and then the next two.
- 41:06SPEAKER_03: So technically you can do it with, but it'll take two turns instead of with one.
- 41:11SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I thought about that.
- 41:12SPEAKER_00: I literally had that same thought.
- 41:13SPEAKER_00: Right?
- 41:14SPEAKER_00: Okay, good.
- 41:14SPEAKER_00: Why not?
- 41:15SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 41:16SPEAKER_03: You're thinking that the way Beth is walking, that Beth drew the shortstraw, because you see it getting to a truck and doing like the death walk with the boobs and all that.
- 41:28SPEAKER_03: With the boobs, always with the boobs.
- 41:29SPEAKER_03: With the boobs.
- 41:30SPEAKER_03: But then it cuts through a group shot and they do it like I call it a la Italian job.
- 41:38SPEAKER_03: And they all three of them have the truck and they're just going in and out and they split up.
- 41:44SPEAKER_03: Where they're like, oh, that's kind of cool.
- 41:45SPEAKER_03: That was smart.
- 41:47SPEAKER_03: So when Annie says, because on speed, they're on that group chat.
- 41:52SPEAKER_03: They're on the conference call.
- 41:54SPEAKER_03: Annie says to her sisters in crime that they should have a movie made about them.
- 41:59SPEAKER_03: And Ruby goes, No, thank you.
- 42:01SPEAKER_03: Because I'll be relegated as a wise cracking black getaway driver that dies five minutes in.
- 42:07SPEAKER_03: Um, this is a new era.
- 42:10SPEAKER_03: The black person is not the first to die anymore.
- 42:12SPEAKER_03: We are kicking ass in this genre.
- 42:15SPEAKER_03: We're the only survivors because you dumbass.
- 42:20SPEAKER_03: Always go upstairs when someone's coming into the house.
- 42:22SPEAKER_03: Like the fuck you getting out upstairs.
- 42:24SPEAKER_03: Um, you wanna?
- 42:26SPEAKER_03: I hear something.
- 42:27SPEAKER_03: Let me go check it out completely without a weapon.
- 42:30SPEAKER_03: You know.
- 42:34SPEAKER_03: Lisa goes, I'm not that white.
- 42:37SPEAKER_03: I'm from Brooklyn.
- 42:38SPEAKER_03: Nope.
- 42:39SPEAKER_03: Fuck no.
- 42:41SPEAKER_03: Ruby and Beth are telling Annie that she'll definitely be Joe Pesci.
- 42:48SPEAKER_00: I'm not mad at that.
- 42:49SPEAKER_00: Like, I'm not Joe Pesci.
- 42:51SPEAKER_00: She goes, why?
- 42:51SPEAKER_00: Because I'm short.
- 42:54SPEAKER_00: I I listen.
- 42:56SPEAKER_00: I would thought she was a Joe Pesci character.
- 42:58SPEAKER_02: She's not De Niro.
- 42:59SPEAKER_00: You know what?
- 42:59SPEAKER_00: Listen, De Niro, Pesci, you can't go wrong with either.
- 43:02SPEAKER_03: You can't go either one, no.
- 43:04SPEAKER_03: You know what I want to watch?
- 43:05SPEAKER_03: I mean, Pesci wasn't in it, but I want to watch Heat again.
- 43:08SPEAKER_03: Never saw it.
- 43:09SPEAKER_03: It's with You should not be surprised.
- 43:12SPEAKER_00: Pacino and De Niro.
- 43:14SPEAKER_00: Like Okay, let's continue.
- 43:16SPEAKER_00: Pacino, De Niro, Pesci, all those Italian guys, they're great.
- 43:19SPEAKER_00: Keep going.
- 43:20SPEAKER_00: They're amazing.
- 43:21SPEAKER_00: It's amazing.
- 43:23SPEAKER_00: Don't forget Daddy DeVito.
- 43:24SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 43:26SPEAKER_00: Thank Daddy DeVito.
- 43:28SPEAKER_00: As I'm looking.
- 43:32SPEAKER_00: See, see, I've I've already converted one person.
- 43:37SPEAKER_00: I can't stand it.
- 43:39SPEAKER_00: Devito is like, um, she is gonna have to pay me royalty or something.
- 43:43SPEAKER_00: Buddy, when I make enough money, I will gladly send it your way.
- 43:48SPEAKER_00: Until then, I'll just tell everybody, hey, worship him if you want.
- 43:53SPEAKER_00: Watch his stuff, watch his shows, his movies, just the good vibes his way.
- 43:58SPEAKER_00: Okay, that's all I have to offer right now.
- 44:03SPEAKER_00: But otherwise, we could just worship the sun.
- 44:04SPEAKER_00: No, no.
- 44:06SPEAKER_00: We need that too, for like me.
- 44:08SPEAKER_00: I'm I'm worshipable.
- 44:09SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 44:09SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 44:10SPEAKER_03: Okay, so all of a sudden it's not so funny anymore when Beth realizes she's being telled by the police.
- 44:16SPEAKER_03: Trying to keep calm.
- 44:17SPEAKER_03: Beth tells Annie and Ruby everything they need to know in order to take care of her kids, including the entire calendar.
- 44:24SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 44:25SPEAKER_00: Like anybody's gonna remember that shit.
- 44:29SPEAKER_00: I didn't remember it two seconds after she said it.
- 44:33SPEAKER_00: What?
- 44:34SPEAKER_00: Calendar?
- 44:36SPEAKER_03: When the cop finally pulls her over, Beth is unnervingly calm as she pitches the female officer a clever lie about having a domestic issue.
- 44:45SPEAKER_03: Yeah, but then she talked too much.
- 44:47SPEAKER_03: Way too much.
- 44:49SPEAKER_03: The cop finally makes Beth open up the trunk to see what's inside.
- 44:53SPEAKER_00: Well, the thing is that she's driving this fucking truck without a license plate.
- 45:01SPEAKER_00: Of course you were gonna get stopped.
- 45:04SPEAKER_00: How did she not notice that?
- 45:06SPEAKER_00: I I mean even if you put your license plate on the truck, you would have had a better just some Yeah, because they're not they're not gonna run a random plate for no reason.
- 45:18SPEAKER_03: They will stop you if there's no plate though.
- 45:21SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 45:22SPEAKER_03: It stops there.
- 45:24SPEAKER_03: It goes to Boomer, fucking being Boomer.
- 45:27SPEAKER_03: He has hunted Mary Pat down at a church choir rehearsal.
- 45:32SPEAKER_03: Dude, lose using the Danny Zovito's name in vain to get what you want is unacceptable.
- 45:40SPEAKER_00: See, at least it gets struck.
- 45:42SPEAKER_00: Let me tell you something.
- 45:43SPEAKER_00: There's a half of a country right now that's doing the same thing, except they're using the G word, not the D word.
- 45:50SPEAKER_00: So I mean, I guess it's fine, right?
- 45:54SPEAKER_00: Because that's that's what we're doing now to justify all of our bad shit.
- 45:58SPEAKER_03: People use religion for their own ends.
- 46:01SPEAKER_03: Of course they do.
- 46:03SPEAKER_00: When people have to start telling people about how good of a person they are in their religion, I'm a good whatever, you're not.
- 46:11SPEAKER_00: If you have to tell people you are, you're not.
- 46:13SPEAKER_00: Just spoiler alert, you're not.
- 46:16SPEAKER_00: It's not hard.
- 46:17SPEAKER_00: If you have to tell people, you're not.
- 46:20SPEAKER_03: Boomers being the the complete creepoid, and he hits on her at the park at the practice.
- 46:26SPEAKER_03: And when she turns him down at first, she admits that her husband died six months ago, and she's not sure she's ready to get back out there.
- 46:34SPEAKER_03: And I kind of feel sorry because she relays how her husband died of a heart attack after playing with water guns with their kids.
- 46:41SPEAKER_03: And then the son thinks he killed his father.
- 46:46SPEAKER_03: So that's kind of fucked in the head.
- 46:47SPEAKER_00: I mean, it could be both things, right?
- 46:49SPEAKER_00: It could be a sad situation.
- 46:50SPEAKER_00: She lost her husband, her kids lost their father.
- 46:53SPEAKER_00: Times are tough.
- 46:54SPEAKER_00: We get it.
- 46:55SPEAKER_00: But you are also an asshole.
- 46:57SPEAKER_00: Well, yeah.
- 46:58SPEAKER_00: Because you're but you know, using it to extort.
- 47:01SPEAKER_03: You have to feel savvy for the kid who thinks he killed his father.
- 47:04SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah, of course.
- 47:05SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 47:05SPEAKER_03: I didn't get into about her issues.
- 47:07SPEAKER_03: Like, this is just feel sorry for her.
- 47:08SPEAKER_00: Well, yeah, no, I'm just saying, like, I I get it.
- 47:10SPEAKER_00: Like, you do feel sorry for the situation.
- 47:12SPEAKER_00: It is a fucked up situation.
- 47:13SPEAKER_00: But also, you're an asshole, Mary Pat.
- 47:16SPEAKER_00: Both things can be true.
- 47:17SPEAKER_03: To be true, to be honest, if I I might, I don't know if I'd be an asshole about it, but I'm like, oh no, this is an opportunity and I have bills to pay.
- 47:25SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna, I could, I could see both sides.
- 47:28SPEAKER_03: I don't know if I'd be an asshole about it, but I would definitely maybe capitalize.
- 47:32SPEAKER_03: Like, oh, yeah, this is what we're doing.
- 47:35SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 47:36SPEAKER_03: Beth shows up to the loading dock to drop off the truck for Rio.
- 47:41SPEAKER_00: Up until this point, right?
- 47:42SPEAKER_00: Like the last scene, the cop made her open and they're both like just staring at it, right?
- 47:48SPEAKER_03: We have no idea what's going on.
- 47:49SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so we don't know like what was in it.
- 47:52SPEAKER_00: Turns out it was empty.
- 47:54SPEAKER_00: It was empty.
- 47:55SPEAKER_03: Yeah, Rio ends up firing Beth.
- 48:00SPEAKER_03: What me and you had is done.
- 48:02SPEAKER_03: It's over.
- 48:03SPEAKER_03: After he tells her the entire truck pickup was a test to see if Eddie had talked.
- 48:08SPEAKER_03: He remembrances Eddie in the past tense, though.
- 48:11SPEAKER_00: Yeah, because he was like, I had a kid.
- 48:13SPEAKER_03: I had a kid.
- 48:15SPEAKER_03: And after Beth realizes this, she then also understands that there is no way Rio's gonna let any of them live.
- 48:22SPEAKER_00: Well, but not for nothing though.
- 48:24SPEAKER_00: Beth is like, I can't believe that blah, blah, blah, and blah, blah, blah.
- 48:27SPEAKER_00: And I have a family, and he's like, okay, so the family that you keep talking about, then fucking go home to them.
- 48:32SPEAKER_00: Go home.
- 48:33SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 48:34SPEAKER_00: That's it.
- 48:34SPEAKER_00: Like, then we're done.
- 48:35SPEAKER_00: But and now she's mad about it.
- 48:37SPEAKER_00: Like, you are not the boss, bitch.
- 48:40SPEAKER_00: Like, you yeah, she's coming out of pocket a little bit too much, and then you don't like the consequences.
- 48:45SPEAKER_03: I'm just like, Beth, um, tone that bring that bring that back a little bit.
- 48:48SPEAKER_03: Simma.
- 48:49SPEAKER_03: Your little Simma.
- 48:50SPEAKER_03: Sim, sim up.
- 48:52SPEAKER_03: Uh simmer down, bitch.
- 48:53SPEAKER_03: Simma down.
- 48:54SPEAKER_03: Um, like, okay, you little badass suburban mom, I'll give you that.
- 48:59SPEAKER_03: But you're not, you know, Chrisilla Blanco either.
- 49:02SPEAKER_03: So let's Right.
- 49:03SPEAKER_00: Like, like, just understand your place, you know.
- 49:08SPEAKER_00: Like, you are just not up the ladder yet.
- 49:11SPEAKER_00: You can see the ladder.
- 49:12SPEAKER_00: You got a foot on the rung.
- 49:13SPEAKER_00: The first one.
- 49:14SPEAKER_00: But you ain't on the top.
- 49:15SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 49:16SPEAKER_00: You haven't climbed it yet.
- 49:17SPEAKER_00: So, like, you still got a boss.
- 49:20SPEAKER_00: You don't talk to your boss that way, especially when your boss is not afraid to handle you.
- 49:24SPEAKER_00: And then you worry about being handled.
- 49:26SPEAKER_00: It it I don't understand.
- 49:29SPEAKER_00: Like, am I I am not a genius, but why can't I see the connection between the two things and other people cannot?
- 49:36SPEAKER_03: Like, well, I think part of it is, I think it's the big, I don't want to say bickering, but the pushback is a sexual tension thing also.
- 49:47SPEAKER_03: And it's I think it kind of feeds into like I don't think she's even doing it consciously.
- 49:52SPEAKER_00: Like, I think it's just like okay.
- 49:55SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I can buy that.
- 49:57SPEAKER_00: I can buy that.
- 49:57SPEAKER_03: And then hello, it's Rio.
- 50:01SPEAKER_03: So the girls are pouring online to see if um Eddie was really capped or not.
- 50:10SPEAKER_03: They're lingo, they're getting really good with like street lingo.
- 50:13SPEAKER_03: I'm proud of them.
- 50:15SPEAKER_03: Unconvinced that Rio will follow through with a threat to fire them, like literally fire them.
- 50:20SPEAKER_03: Um, Beth tells them he just looked funny to her.
- 50:26SPEAKER_03: And he shares a story about great white sharks and how they have inky black eyes that turn white right before they kill you.
- 50:32SPEAKER_03: I've known people like that.
- 50:36SPEAKER_03: Um, Mary Pat brings Boomer back to her house after their coffee date.
- 50:40SPEAKER_03: They nerd out over hymns until Mary Pat brings up her dead husband by telling Boomer that Jeff was really into hard rock because he knew every Creed song.
- 50:51SPEAKER_03: As another side note, who was watching the kids while she was on a date?
- 50:55SPEAKER_00: I was thinking about that too.
- 50:56SPEAKER_03: Yeah, okay.
- 50:57SPEAKER_00: But you know, seeing how all up in in Jesus she is, it's making more sense about her other behaviors.
- 51:05SPEAKER_03: That's a good point.
- 51:07SPEAKER_03: Yeah, less and less surprised by her audacity.
- 51:11SPEAKER_03: Mary Pat tries to keep the date going by putting on some tea.
- 51:16SPEAKER_03: Which is also cool.
- 51:18SPEAKER_03: Let's get it on.
- 51:18SPEAKER_03: Okay, Mr.
- 51:19SPEAKER_03: I know.
- 51:20SPEAKER_00: Listen, her husband died six months ago.
- 51:21SPEAKER_00: She probably needs a piece of ass.
- 51:25SPEAKER_03: Even if it is Boomer.
- 51:26SPEAKER_03: So as she's right, as she's doing the tea thing, we watch Boomer open up the Hymanel.
- 51:33SPEAKER_03: He's been toting around all evening.
- 51:35SPEAKER_03: And some of the pages are cut out, and it's a recording device, which she flips on before closing the book and putting the book on Mary Pat's bookshelf.
- 51:44SPEAKER_03: Mary Pat calls him Honey.
- 51:47SPEAKER_03: He calls her dear because she's like, Honey.
- 51:50SPEAKER_03: Well, she was asking him to dear.
- 51:53SPEAKER_03: Yes, dear.
- 51:54SPEAKER_03: It was cute.
- 51:55SPEAKER_03: It was cute if it wasn't.
- 51:57SPEAKER_03: It was cute.
- 51:58SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 51:58SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 52:00SPEAKER_03: Moving on to another scene.
- 52:01SPEAKER_03: Beth and Annie get their affairs in order when it comes to their kids.
- 52:05SPEAKER_03: Beth creates a gorgeous and elaborate head splitting, eye-rolling family calendar that Martha Stewart would have been jealous of.
- 52:14SPEAKER_03: And it was just I think it was just too much.
- 52:16SPEAKER_03: I couldn't, it was just too much going on.
- 52:18SPEAKER_00: But it had like, yeah.
- 52:19SPEAKER_00: Shoot me.
- 52:19SPEAKER_00: If that was my calendar, shoot me.
- 52:22SPEAKER_00: Some people thrive with shit like that.
- 52:24SPEAKER_00: Not me.
- 52:25SPEAKER_00: No.
- 52:25SPEAKER_00: Not not I.
- 52:27SPEAKER_03: Too much.
- 52:27SPEAKER_03: Like a kid, they can, it's fine.
- 52:29SPEAKER_03: They can be left alone for five fucking minutes without an activity.
- 52:33SPEAKER_03: They'd be fine.
- 52:35SPEAKER_03: Go outside and fucking play.
- 52:37SPEAKER_00: But they don't learn how to like self- they've never been left alone to figure out how to not be bored.
- 52:43SPEAKER_00: They they don't know what to do with themselves.
- 52:45SPEAKER_00: And that's when you you get kids who are just like psycho.
- 52:49SPEAKER_03: Or at work and they don't know how to take the initiative to do the next thing.
- 52:53SPEAKER_03: What now?
- 52:54SPEAKER_03: What now?
- 52:55SPEAKER_03: What now?
- 52:55SPEAKER_03: Oh my God, you have a list of things that you know you need to do.
- 52:58SPEAKER_03: Just fucking do them.
- 52:59SPEAKER_03: Figure it out.
- 53:00SPEAKER_03: Annie awkwardly leaves a million voicemails for Sadie.
- 53:03SPEAKER_03: I know.
- 53:04SPEAKER_03: I feel like that's something I would do before getting called out by Greg because she's sitting in the car outside the house.
- 53:10SPEAKER_03: It seems that whatever has sparked between them is finally out.
- 53:14SPEAKER_03: And they're just chill.
- 53:18SPEAKER_03: Greg tells Annie to take care of herself.
- 53:21SPEAKER_03: That typical co-parenting relationship.
- 53:24SPEAKER_03: At Castle Hill, Ruby asks Dan what it would take for him to leave her.
- 53:29SPEAKER_03: And he jokes, become a Packer fan.
- 53:31SPEAKER_03: And I co-signed that.
- 53:36SPEAKER_03: She seemingly starts to tell him the truth, but before she can really get there, they're interrupted by the call they've been waiting for.
- 53:44SPEAKER_03: A call?
- 53:45SPEAKER_03: The next day at Beth's house, the girls are discussing possibly themselves in when Beth drops this once upon a time gem of a theory on them.
- 53:56SPEAKER_03: All those fairy tales that they told you when we were little girls, the moral were always, if you're good, you get good things.
- 54:03SPEAKER_03: And if you're a dick, you get punished.
- 54:06SPEAKER_03: But what if the people who made up those stories are the dicks?
- 54:10SPEAKER_03: What if the bad people made up all made that all up so good people would never get anything?
- 54:15SPEAKER_03: Ruby asks, What's your takeaway?
- 54:17SPEAKER_03: And after Beth answers that Rio should be the one in jail, Ruby says, then let's put him there.
- 54:24SPEAKER_03: Boom, bum, bum.
- 54:26SPEAKER_00: Even at this moment, I was like, okay, Beth, I see your metaphor.
- 54:33SPEAKER_00: And I think that you're not a hundred percent wrong, but bitch, that's a bad idea.
- 54:39SPEAKER_00: Oh, that's a bad idea.
- 54:41SPEAKER_03: Very bad.
- 54:42SPEAKER_00: You don't have enough information to know how bad of an idea this bad idea is.
- 54:46SPEAKER_00: Right?
- 54:48SPEAKER_00: Like, you gotta do your research.
- 54:52SPEAKER_03: I'm a researcher, so you know.
- 54:54SPEAKER_03: So, what are your thoughts on this episode?
- 54:59SPEAKER_00: Beth, what the fuck?
- 55:00SPEAKER_00: Mary Pat, what the fuck?
- 55:02SPEAKER_00: Boomer, what the fuck?
- 55:04SPEAKER_03: So we should title this episode when you do your show notes, what the fuck?
- 55:12SPEAKER_00: In this episode, what the fuck, what the fuck, what the fuck?
- 55:16SPEAKER_00: I'm just like, but I I realized that the next episode is I guess the season finale.
- 55:25SPEAKER_00: So I'm like, all right, it makes sense that things are like the stakes are really being raised because it's it's the penultimate episode.
- 55:34SPEAKER_00: So they've gotta like give you a lot to be like, what the fuck?
- 55:38SPEAKER_00: So that you come back for the next one.
- 55:41SPEAKER_00: And then, you know, who knows what what that entails.
- 55:45SPEAKER_00: And then it's like, mmm, no, you gotta wait for the next season, haha.
- 55:50SPEAKER_00: But whatever it is, it's gonna be good because they want you to come back.
- 55:55SPEAKER_00: So I'm like, all right, I'm definitely like, okay, I'm I'm coming back.
- 56:00SPEAKER_00: You got me.
- 56:01SPEAKER_03: Yay! And it didn't take you four seasons like it did with me.
- 56:06SPEAKER_00: You know what?
- 56:07SPEAKER_00: It's not hard to get me.
- 56:10SPEAKER_00: Are you that easy?
- 56:11SPEAKER_00: I guess so.
- 56:13SPEAKER_00: I guess so.
- 56:14SPEAKER_03: The next episode, which is the season finale, will be called Remix.
- 56:19SPEAKER_03: I think that's all I have for this episode.
- 56:21SPEAKER_03: I have no.
- 56:22SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I don't think I have anything else.
- 56:24SPEAKER_00: It was pretty reset everything we had to say.
