- 7:15[SPEAKER_13]: Um, so, looks like we got those, uh, artistic panels representing Waterjohn's past are going to be, uh, preserved.
- 7:24[SPEAKER_13]: They're going to be re-installed in a lot of the renovated city hall, uh, that word yesterday from one of our listeners.
- 7:31[SPEAKER_13]: so uh... that's good news i don't know why anyone was talking about well there's a lot of them it's down but the news that's rocking waterchound right now time news junkie to the police plotter milligros smith they've arranged in there personal i think millie looks a lot younger than that i think that age is wrong it but i'd knock at least ten years off
- 7:58[SPEAKER_13]: But anyway, she was charged by Watertown Police at 9.43pm last night at her residence with second degree harassment, a violation.
- 8:08[SPEAKER_13]: Smith is accused of shoving a female uniform police officer at 637pm, January 17th at Pete's Triturary on Green Avenue, according to Court Duck.
- 8:18[SPEAKER_13]: Now wait a minute.
- 8:19[SPEAKER_13]: That was three weeks ago.
- 8:20[SPEAKER_13]: We told you about that.
- 8:22[SPEAKER_13]: Whole thing with the choking incident at Pete's, we told you about that on the hotline.
- 8:27[SPEAKER_13]: The other media,
- 8:30[SPEAKER_13]: they were in their own world.
- 8:31[SPEAKER_13]: I don't know what they would do and they were running from suckstories on TV.
- 8:35[SPEAKER_13]: But we told you, because it was a good news story.
- 8:39[SPEAKER_13]: A man in his 70s was choking on a piece of steak, right?
- 8:46[SPEAKER_13]: Millie being a physician's assisted in long time medical professional was at an adjacent table.
- 8:54[SPEAKER_13]: She saw what was happening.
- 8:56[SPEAKER_13]: She went over, got the man to stand up, tried to do the hymn like and told somebody called 911.
- 9:03[SPEAKER_13]: She, the hymn like didn't successfully expel the meat because it was a, well, a fairly large piece of steak, always cut your steak up smaller, please.
- 9:16[SPEAKER_13]: But so anyway, the police got there.
- 9:21[SPEAKER_13]: And the officer
- 9:24[SPEAKER_13]: Who's been praised, she's been honored by the department for dedication and a job well done.
- 9:32[SPEAKER_13]: She, I guess, personally out of the way, and Millie said, well, I'm a medical professional and whether they knew that or not, but I don't know whether somebody got touched or anything.
- 9:43[SPEAKER_13]: But they went on the EMT from Gilphoil.
- 9:46[SPEAKER_13]: He was forced to extract the offending piece of meat from the man's trachea.
- 9:54[SPEAKER_13]: And Officer George performed CPR, and after the whole thing was over, Millie made it a point of praising what a good job she did.
- 10:02[SPEAKER_13]: And this is the thanks, Millie Gags, for interceding in a situation who would help somebody who's in trouble if you're going to get arrested for it.
- 10:14[SPEAKER_13]: Now, and this is three weeks later.
- 10:16[SPEAKER_13]: It's not like it's happened at the moment in that type of thing.
- 10:20[SPEAKER_13]: nobody agree nobody says officers should be assaulted but what the heck was this all about and then last night shortly before ten the officer in question serves the arrest warrant now i'm not a lawyer or an off police officer but i wouldn't have the victim of a crime or a large crime serve the warrant and
- 10:52[SPEAKER_13]: So there's something going on here.
- 10:55[SPEAKER_13]: Somebody doesn't like somebody.
- 10:56[SPEAKER_13]: Now, Millie is, you know, Millie's going to run for school board, and this does the deed, right?
- 11:05[SPEAKER_13]: It dusts her up.
- 11:07[SPEAKER_13]: Doesn't matter how it's adjudicated in the end, it'll end up being dismissed.
- 11:14[SPEAKER_13]: Now, with this dusts her up for a school board race.
- 11:21[SPEAKER_13]: controversial she's a mean girl and i've had you know and uh... she never shoved me or anything you know but you know we've had her on the air she's very outspoken and so you know this is going to get all the headlines now unfortunately the lazy is all get out media didn't do any story on the
- 11:50[SPEAKER_13]: First responders were combined efforts to save a man's life who ended up in the hospital afterwards, intubated for three days.
- 11:59[SPEAKER_13]: So nobody ever knew about this until now you get the news of the arrest because somebody was shoved.
- 12:05[SPEAKER_13]: Now, who in the chain of command made the decision that this was a good idea?
- 12:11[SPEAKER_13]: Instead of just saying, I don't know if in the hustle and bustle of the moment,
- 12:18[SPEAKER_13]: I've shoved an officer or something.
- 12:20[SPEAKER_13]: I would just afterwards say she's kind of hectic there.
- 12:23[SPEAKER_13]: I'm sorry if I didn't even, you know, you leave it at that.
- 12:28[SPEAKER_13]: I don't know what's going on.
- 12:31[SPEAKER_13]: Who's in charge at City Hall?
- 12:32[SPEAKER_13]: Good afternoon around the air.
- 12:34[SPEAKER_15]: Hey Jeff, I just want to stop you from trying to, you know, say, Melis and the right here.
- 12:40[SPEAKER_15]: Let's watch the body cam footage.
- 12:42[SPEAKER_15]: Let's get some video.
- 12:44[SPEAKER_13]: OK, good idea.
- 12:45[SPEAKER_15]: All right, let's have that release.
- 12:47[SPEAKER_15]: So we know who's in the right here.
- 12:50[SPEAKER_13]: All right.
- 12:50[SPEAKER_13]: I'm in favor of that.
- 12:51[SPEAKER_13]: Let's media.
- 12:53[SPEAKER_13]: Get off your ass and go get the body cam video.
- 12:55[SPEAKER_13]: Final foil and take a year to get it processed.
- 12:58[SPEAKER_15]: But, you know, but yeah, that's a crazy story, but the only way to study who's right or wrong is, let's see the video.
- 13:06[SPEAKER_15]: All right.
- 13:06[SPEAKER_13]: Thanks, too.
- 13:07[SPEAKER_13]: All right.
- 13:07[SPEAKER_13]: Thank you.
- 13:08[SPEAKER_13]: You know, excellent, excellent suggestion from that gentleman.
- 13:13[SPEAKER_13]: The body cam, we pay for body cams now.
- 13:17[SPEAKER_13]: Let's see what happened.
- 13:18[SPEAKER_13]: Maybe, maybe Millie is a horrible person.
- 13:22[SPEAKER_13]: I don't know.
- 13:23[SPEAKER_13]: But after doing it, you're on the air.
- 13:25[SPEAKER_17]: Hey, do them, sir.
- 13:26[SPEAKER_13]: Good, what's up?
- 13:28[SPEAKER_17]: Oh, I got that story.
- 13:30[SPEAKER_17]: My first question would be, why wouldn't she?
- 13:34[SPEAKER_17]: If she was so bad, or if she pushed enough, sir, why would she be arrested on the spot?
- 13:40[SPEAKER_13]: Good question?
- 13:42[SPEAKER_17]: You know, I don't know.
- 13:44[SPEAKER_17]: A few years back, late.
- 13:46[SPEAKER_17]: My son, you know, it's personal story, was in a formula that he broke his bone and I got the car because it was only up the rope from my house.
- 13:57[SPEAKER_17]: We went up and I was holding the sand in the middle of the road.
- 14:00[SPEAKER_17]: And one of the sheriffs came and grabbed me and told me that, like, got a grass that would mean, like, you can't be doing the, you know, like, made a big deal out of it.
- 14:10[SPEAKER_17]: So, he holds with the story, yes.
- 14:12[SPEAKER_17]: But if you try now, somebody see a doctor,
- 14:17[SPEAKER_13]: I know it and, you know, a year ago and that faster shoved me or something, which I thought was a salt.
- 14:24[SPEAKER_17]: That was like, okay, I don't know what this shoved was all about, but we have to see the body.
- 14:46[SPEAKER_17]: that they should have erupted out of the spot otherwise just leave it alone and let it go go and even let it go as if you know as long as nothing came out of it.
- 14:56[SPEAKER_13]: Well look at I mean as I understand the incident and I was not there and the body can video maybe quite revealing is my understanding is these are first responders of which
- 15:14[SPEAKER_13]: They were trying to come to the aid of an old guy who's choking to death.
- 15:18[SPEAKER_13]: Now, why Mar that with this?
- 15:21[SPEAKER_13]: I don't think anybody was, quote, assaulting anyone.
- 15:27[SPEAKER_13]: They were trying to come to the aid us.
- 15:28[SPEAKER_13]: If somebody got pushed through something fine, you know?
- 15:32[SPEAKER_13]: It's the hustle and bustle.
- 15:33[SPEAKER_13]: That's my read on it.
- 15:36[SPEAKER_13]: I'm not a law enforcement professional.
- 15:38[SPEAKER_17]: Yeah, there's a session about her being arrested after the fact.
- 15:43[SPEAKER_13]: Three weeks later, yeah.
- 15:44[SPEAKER_17]: Yeah, just something wrong there.
- 15:47[SPEAKER_17]: Well, definitely.
- 15:49[SPEAKER_17]: Definitely.
- 15:50[SPEAKER_13]: But you never know, I mean, hey, maybe really get something horrible in which case, you know, we'll be the first to say so.
- 15:57[SPEAKER_17]: Yeah.
- 15:59[SPEAKER_17]: Yeah, it's definitely not really, I don't know.
- 16:01[SPEAKER_17]: I wouldn't know.
- 16:03[SPEAKER_17]: I would have probably let it go through that, let it go past that night.
- 16:06[SPEAKER_17]: Yeah, that's stupid just to go around somebody at their home over an incident where
- 16:16[SPEAKER_13]: Well, she was helping.
- 16:17[SPEAKER_13]: She was the first one on the scene.
- 16:19[SPEAKER_13]: I mean, so, and she was trying to do something.
- 16:22[SPEAKER_13]: I mean, you know, I don't really know what to say.
- 16:26[SPEAKER_13]: I'd hate to be choking the death and and everybody's, you know, fussing over who's turf at his or something, but obviously the officer came in.
- 16:38[SPEAKER_13]: She took control, which is what she's supposed to do, and she administered CPR.
- 16:46[SPEAKER_13]: or offended.
- 16:49[SPEAKER_13]: You know, that's something you deal with afterwards after the hospitals after the ambulances left.
- 16:54[SPEAKER_22]: Yeah.
- 16:55[SPEAKER_13]: But I don't know.
- 16:57[SPEAKER_13]: Somebody doesn't like millie up in high places, I think.
- 17:00[SPEAKER_17]: Yeah, I agree.
- 17:02[SPEAKER_17]: I think it's because she's on the side of the people, though.
- 17:05[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 17:07[SPEAKER_17]: She changed over and went to the side of the people.
- 17:09[SPEAKER_17]: I have no idea why she'd be running for school board again when she's running for any
- 17:16[SPEAKER_17]: He came to the side of the people I thought that he was doing the right thing like that for sure, and obviously the cops, they don't like it now.
- 17:23[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 17:25[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, these body cam videos.
- 17:27[SPEAKER_13]: You know, there was also the one of the incident where the kid got slammed or something, and they never showed that either.
- 17:35[SPEAKER_13]: So, but really, if Millie did something wrong, we need to see that video.
- 17:43[SPEAKER_17]: Yeah, you never know.
- 17:45[SPEAKER_17]: You never know.
- 17:46[SPEAKER_17]: Thanks for taking my phone call.
- 17:47[SPEAKER_13]: Alright, thank you.
- 17:48[SPEAKER_13]: Good afternoon, Ron here.
- 17:50[SPEAKER_19]: Hi, Jeff.
- 17:52[SPEAKER_19]: I don't believe for a minute the Millie would have pushed a police officer.
- 17:57[SPEAKER_19]: She would have introduced herself, said that she had medical background and proceeded to help that man.
- 18:02[SPEAKER_13]: Mm-hmm.
- 18:04[SPEAKER_19]: I just wanted to say that that's all.
- 18:06[SPEAKER_13]: Well, I think that's what happened, but I do think it was very hectic at the moment, obviously.
- 18:14[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, but yeah, I don't believe for a minute.
- 18:20[SPEAKER_13]: It's it's too bad
- 18:22[SPEAKER_13]: And I said this afterwards, and of course, we wouldn't know news if it bit us in the ass news media in this town.
- 18:31[SPEAKER_13]: You had first responders teaming up to save a guy.
- 18:34[SPEAKER_13]: You had the EMT from Gillfoil, we stuck the four steps down his throat, and got the stake out.
- 18:41[SPEAKER_13]: You had the officer performing CPR, Millie had the initial intervention.
- 18:46[SPEAKER_13]: People were helping out the man's life is saved and we got a mar of the occasion by trying to dust somebody up with with a charge just so that it'll hurt their school board race exactly that's all it is someone doesn't like millie yeah millie stands her ground so I'm sure that's why they don't like her exact that's off to millie for doing a good job and everyone involved but shame on the police officer and that police officer should never have served him millie that's just I can't believe that's acceptable
- 19:18[SPEAKER_13]: all right thank you well yeah i mean i i talked to the owner of the restaurant this morning he wasn't out on a catering job when the incident occurred but he said his staff was very appreciative to everybody involved and that the end result was good so can't we celebrate a good end result no i guess we can

- 23:09[SPEAKER_13]: Hey, I'm 1240.
- 23:10[SPEAKER_13]: I got a text a minute ago from Mayan, a millie, not a millie like her.
- 23:15[SPEAKER_13]: So, but what do you, once you get all the facts before you make the officer look back?
- 23:19[SPEAKER_13]: Nobody's making the officer look bad.
- 23:22[SPEAKER_13]: In the original account back on January 17th, I specifically said,
- 23:28[SPEAKER_13]: that Milly said the officer did an excellent job performing CPR and that the officers should be cited at a council meeting but this will never get reported and and so should the EMT they did a good job so nobody's saying that that that's the case what we are saying is that milly you know this is a classic case of let no good deeds go unpunished
- 23:56[SPEAKER_13]: And Jim Levin just walked in.
- 23:59[SPEAKER_13]: It's to 11, how are you?
- 24:00[SPEAKER_28]: Yeah, you know, a book, Kevin, for your friends.
- 24:06[SPEAKER_13]: I don't think this is on here.
- 24:07[SPEAKER_13]: Oh, wait a minute, there we go.
- 24:08[SPEAKER_28]: Yeah, I'm watching myself bounce around, I think.
- 24:10[SPEAKER_28]: But, Jeff and Millie are dear friends, and it's just a shame to see this happen because and Jeff, I think you might have even been at Pete's that night.
- 24:20[SPEAKER_28]: I was not.
- 24:20[SPEAKER_13]: I was not.
- 24:21[SPEAKER_28]: Well, I mean, there's enough, I caught my stake in this, all of it, which is a guy, I saw that happen to somebody at a restaurant elsewhere, and the heimly quirked on that guy, but, I mean, this was a case where you really needed a medical professional from all reports anyway, and they used four steps to remove the material from this guy's tracheal or windpipe or whatever, and literally,
- 24:48[SPEAKER_28]: You know, Millie apparently did that and saved the guy's life Well, you know, there's hubbub.
- 24:55[SPEAKER_28]: So the cop gets there is doing her job and I'm sure meant very You know, good luck to her.
- 25:00[SPEAKER_28]: Well, Millie said so and and and and and so you know The medical professional is saying wait a minute.
- 25:07[SPEAKER_28]: Thank you for your service, but this is what I do for a living.
- 25:11[SPEAKER_28]: Let me do my job
- 25:13[SPEAKER_28]: save the person's life and probably in the process probably did shove the police officers so that she could save the person's life and you know it's just a show I mean don't we have
- 25:28[SPEAKER_28]: Bigger fish to fry in the North Country, and you know, Millie and Jeff both have been in service to the community for almost as long as I've been here.
- 25:41[SPEAKER_28]: She just saved a life, and it's just, you know, it's such a shame.
- 25:46[SPEAKER_28]: And I feel so badly for my friend, Millie.
- 25:50[SPEAKER_13]: Well, yeah, cause obviously the headline carries the day,
- 25:55[SPEAKER_28]: station owner arrested they don't look at the right what happened beforehand where we're both of us at either Missouri or Northwestern we were we were trained to put well you know that you know I paid I was a screaming yelling talk 40 DJ oh so I paid my way through school but yeah I believe me it's now you know what I think it's like 90 grand a year now I'd never send a kid there even though it's a great
- 26:24[SPEAKER_28]: You know, we were trained to get two, three, four sources, you know, make sure everything was accurate before we published and, you know, it's a shame.
- 26:36[SPEAKER_13]: Well, what I wonder is, and these are the rest.
- 26:39[SPEAKER_13]: They don't happen in the vacuum.
- 26:43[SPEAKER_13]: up the chain made a decision on that and what kind of investigation was there and obviously there's a there's a body cam so maybe the senior police management saw a body cam video that substantiates this and if they did well will be the first one's to yes i agree with that by the way i i i and anything is possible to your point and by the way that's why you were a news anchor because i i i journalist i i we remember i you know that i remember talking to
- 27:13[SPEAKER_13]: Jeff Pusher was not in the building at the time, but I remember talking to him about it, and The feedback from his staff they were happy with the job everybody did and happy that the man survived I'm sure the man is happy he survived.
- 27:25[SPEAKER_13]: I've had his family and I guess you can't really tell the story of the arrest without telling the whole story well and you can't but I mean, you know when you save a life I mean when you say something like
- 27:40[SPEAKER_13]: someone sort of shoved a police officer it's like I walked up on this street and just shoved it police are you got to look at the contact I don't know what was going on but uh... if i tripped and fell into a cop
- 27:53[SPEAKER_28]: And by the way, I would never, I, you know, the people, that's why we could always responders appreciation at this company, you know, but if I tripped and fell and I threw my arms out and it was a slippery day and this, this poor cop was standing in the wrong place when asked over tea kettle, am I going to get arrested for a salt?
- 28:17[SPEAKER_28]: I suppose it's possible.
- 28:19[SPEAKER_28]: I don't think a police officer, because I know most of the cops around here and everybody I know on the police department is wonderful.
- 28:29[SPEAKER_28]: Well, you know, that's what I was about to say after making these comments on the air, the people who publish these stories will probably put headlines, Jim Levin stopped for speeding.
- 28:40[SPEAKER_28]: Not that that happens.
- 28:42[SPEAKER_28]: Yeah, no comment and I haven't been in a while, thank God, but I just think that I think we need to get our senses about ourselves here and I think that, you know, frankly, if I was in, you know, in the government, I'd be giving million award if she saved somebody's life.
- 29:05[SPEAKER_13]: Well, yeah, and there's room for awards, this from October 14th of last year.
- 29:12[SPEAKER_13]: But from the police department, please join us in congratulating Office of Serena George who has been selected to receive the Police Department Office of Recognition Award for unwavering dedication, professionalism and commitment to public service, combined with their compassion for others, makes Office of George a standout member, her hard work has undoubtedly made our community safer and contributes to the overall success of the department.
- 29:38[SPEAKER_13]: So that's great.
- 29:42[SPEAKER_28]: Well, you know what, God bless them all, cause I'm not brave enough to stand in front of a bullet for somebody else.
- 29:47[SPEAKER_13]: Well, I just think that all of the people who saved that man's life, whatever role they did.
- 29:53[SPEAKER_13]: Whether it's the person who called 911, the person who pulled the thing out of his throat or whatever or the person at the hospital who did whatever they did there.
- 30:04[SPEAKER_13]: it was a team effort that saved a life.
- 30:06[SPEAKER_13]: Yes, and that's all that matters to me.
- 30:08[SPEAKER_28]: And I hope and you know, is it a gentleman or a lady?
- 30:11[SPEAKER_28]: Can we know even?
- 30:12[SPEAKER_28]: It's a man.
- 30:13[SPEAKER_28]: Yeah, I hope that gentleman actually did that and sent a little note to each person.
- 30:17[SPEAKER_13]: You know, and I would, you get all these comments about, well, what are you supporting this or that?
- 30:23[SPEAKER_13]: Not supporting anybody.
- 30:26[SPEAKER_13]: But,
- 30:27[SPEAKER_28]: Oh my god, who doesn't support our police and fire and EMTs?
- 30:32[SPEAKER_28]: I mean, they're heroes.
- 30:33[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 30:34[SPEAKER_28]: I mean, they're, you know, and our military, I mean, these are people.
- 30:38[SPEAKER_28]: It ain't politics.
- 30:41[SPEAKER_28]: It's right and wrong.
- 30:43[SPEAKER_28]: And these guys are heroes.
- 30:45[SPEAKER_28]: And again, you know, these guys, if somebody had a gun out, they'd help save my life at risk.
- 30:54[SPEAKER_28]: And you know, thank God they're brave, public servants.
- 30:58[SPEAKER_13]: Alright, saving your life, Jimmy, you'd have to have a way of the pros and cons of that.
- 31:02[SPEAKER_28]: You mean you've got me over a barrel?
- 31:05[SPEAKER_13]: Something like that.
- 31:06[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 31:06[SPEAKER_13]: Well, that's enough, I apologize for not on our show.
- 31:10[SPEAKER_13]: Alright.
- 31:11[SPEAKER_13]: Well, I'd have you in.
- 31:12[SPEAKER_13]: Thank you.
- 31:12[SPEAKER_16]: Alright, we'll be back with more in a moment.
- 31:21[SPEAKER_16]: Get into it, and he'll be amazed what you get out of it.
- 31:25[SPEAKER_27]: Anthony Constantino didn't build a business by talking.
- 31:28[SPEAKER_27]: He built it by doing.
- 31:30[SPEAKER_27]: He creates American manufacturing jobs, real jobs right here at home.
- 31:36[SPEAKER_27]: Anthony Constantino is a strong Trump Republican who fights for you, not Washington Insiders.
- 31:42[SPEAKER_27]: That's why he's funding his own campaign for Congress, no special interests, no donor class, no strings attached.
- 31:50[SPEAKER_27]: Anthony Constantino answers to one group only, the people who live and work right here.
- 31:58[SPEAKER_27]: He'll fight to cut taxes, eliminate waste and fraud, and he'll fight to put more money in your pocket.
- 32:05[SPEAKER_27]: He'll fight for better cell phone and internet service across the North Country, and Anthony Constantino will always fight to protect our local farmers.
- 32:20[SPEAKER_09]: I'm Anthony Calcantino and I approve this message.
- 32:22[SPEAKER_24]: Paid for by Constantino for Congress.
- 32:24[SPEAKER_06]: Bring us finally in the air.
- 32:26[SPEAKER_06]: Or almost anyway, it's getting very clear that affects the very Mitsubishi.

- 34:38[SPEAKER_13]: I'm 1240.
- 34:38[SPEAKER_13]: Well, I have to see.
- 34:40[SPEAKER_13]: I don't know.
- 34:42[SPEAKER_13]: I don't know what to make of it But boy, wouldn't it have been nice if after all of that was over that you had the Restaurant owner the person who'd been saved first responders and whether they may be on or off duty and
- 35:03[SPEAKER_13]: offer a ceremony to acknowledge that and say job well done is a man living today because there was a job well done to anything wrong saying so we got to we got to take lemonade make it in the lemons are whatever the expression is good afternoon around here
- 35:31[SPEAKER_20]: to your, um, like one of your sponsors there, coffee and they advertise, at the end, why did they feel a necessary, uh, advice people that they don't print on animals?
- 35:44[SPEAKER_13]: I think that's a humorous reference.
- 35:48[UNKNOWN]: Oh, okay.
- 35:51[SPEAKER_13]: Why did you bring your dog down and they wouldn't print on it?
- 35:55[SPEAKER_20]: I know, I just, it's actually part of their ad, right?
- 35:58[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, I think that's mad.
- 36:00[SPEAKER_13]: Well, and obviously caught your attention and got us talking about that firm, so I guess it was.
- 36:04[UNKNOWN]: Yeah, it did.
- 36:06[SPEAKER_20]: And I also heard nothing on the news.
- 36:08[SPEAKER_20]: I can't hang on because I got to go.
- 36:11[SPEAKER_20]: But, um, and it was like, I heard a little news like about, um, like, I don't know.
- 36:17[SPEAKER_20]: Some sort of creatives or groups being made to, you know, encourage kids to attend school.
- 36:29[SPEAKER_20]: because evidently there's rampant absentee of them in schools and so they're trying to think of creative ways to get people to go to school and I'm sorry I thought you don't need to be creative if you don't have the appropriate amount of attendance you just can't graduate I don't understand why they have to try to make it it's fun it's
- 36:59[SPEAKER_20]: you do what you're supposed to do and then you'll graduate or pass on to the next grade or you don't and you go over and you know something if you can't then you know drop out and that's you don't want to do that so the whole goal of schooling is graduating not somebody having to make something fun for you to go there right
- 37:26[SPEAKER_13]: Right, okay, thank you.
- 37:29[SPEAKER_13]: Oh my goodness, people are sending in their All their milliest stories But after dude around the air Good afternoon, Mayor.
- 37:38[SPEAKER_18]: You were talking about the incident was the first responders.
- 37:42[SPEAKER_18]: Yes Well, we have I'm a volunteer fireman and I have responded to a lot of different situations matter of fact, I
- 37:55[SPEAKER_18]: uh... was revived at a fire scene and i got no pulse and no blood pressure for uh... couple of moments or so and uh... what i did was there were four people who were uh... directly responsible for me be alive today and we have we have what we call challenge going right for rain thank for rain is the uh... patron saying a fireman
- 38:24[SPEAKER_18]: So I gave those four guys a challenge point and hopefully, and it means a lot to the guys because you don't get them just for showing up, you get them for a special reason.
- 38:40[SPEAKER_13]: Well, people should be, you know, I mean, everybody, the word hero is overuse these days, but people should be recognized when they do a job.
- 38:47[SPEAKER_13]: It was like last winter when those town of Pinkney, highway employees saved the life of a channel seven person who'd flipped their car.
- 38:55[SPEAKER_13]: There was never any recognition for that other than internally.
- 38:58[SPEAKER_13]: Right.
- 38:59[SPEAKER_13]: Uh, that kind of stuff is, it means a lot to the people involved.
- 39:02[SPEAKER_13]: And the same thing here, we took a, somehow or other, we've taken a,
- 39:09[SPEAKER_13]: a good incident with a good outcome and we've made it into uh... you know whatever because it let me tell you something here this is this is a violation not a misdemeanor not a not a felony and it's not gonna go it's gonna be dismissed in court right so what's up what's the point right well these uh... these first responders
- 39:37[SPEAKER_18]: uh... no matter who they are ambulance fire chief uh... fireman policemen they all deserve a pat on a back in recognition because in a lot of insults of the they end up going i'll say far far in beyond a lot of these scenes are not are uh... not something you put in a scrapbook well you know and that's uh...
- 40:04[SPEAKER_13]: Listen, I mean, obviously, everybody's got a job to do and you go to do it every day, but when someone does something exceptional or shows, you know, a great acumen whether it's fixing a water main or or getting a piece of meat out of somebody's chest.
- 40:21[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, you know, I think there's is nothing wrong with saying thank you, jab well done.
- 40:26[SPEAKER_22]: Absolutely.
- 40:27[SPEAKER_13]: And you know, Millie's an excitable person.
- 40:32[SPEAKER_13]: Um, you know, it's that Peruvian thing, you know, you know this, right, you know famous for there.
- 40:38[SPEAKER_18]: Um, I, I, I had a business, a multi-million dollar business for a few years, and I can tell you a morale and you'll know it as an employee of Boyer, morale can go, can, can drop like a dead weight, and to bring that up, morale up is just gradual, and this recognition
- 41:00[SPEAKER_18]: some of these people should be getting would increase their morale it would make them feel good make them feel better well listen if I were the choker uh... i would want to meet the people involved and would make it a point to go down to gulf oil and make it a point to go over to wherever the police are located and uh... thank them yep yeah it it does happen sometimes i have seen it personally
- 41:29[SPEAKER_18]: Um, I've read about where it happened in different magazines and stuff.
- 41:34[SPEAKER_18]: Well, you know, I, I believe these people do it.
- 41:36[SPEAKER_13]: After I get out of upstate, there were a lot of people who treated me.
- 41:40[SPEAKER_13]: I don't, uh, I wasn't even cognizant for most of it.
- 41:43[SPEAKER_13]: So I don't know who they were.
- 41:45[SPEAKER_13]: But I made a point to send a letter to the administrator.
- 41:47[SPEAKER_13]: I wonder they share that.
- 41:48[SPEAKER_13]: I don't know.
- 41:50[SPEAKER_13]: But, uh, I think you should try to do that when, when you're in a tough situation.
- 41:59[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, and actually, here on the hotline, who goes to the hotline, we get credit to these people at the time and happen three weeks ago.
- 42:10[SPEAKER_22]: Right.
- 42:12[SPEAKER_13]: And I said at the time, somebody said, well, how come you don't give the officers name or the EMT's name as I don't have it?
- 42:18[SPEAKER_13]: It's up to the media.
- 42:19[SPEAKER_13]: I don't.
- 42:20[SPEAKER_13]: It's not my job.
- 42:22[SPEAKER_13]: Be glad to give their names.
- 42:24[SPEAKER_13]: If I knew the EMT's name was pulled the meat out of the guy, I'd talk about that on here, too.
- 42:30[SPEAKER_18]: Right.
- 42:30[SPEAKER_18]: My, uh, my colon burst one day.
- 42:34[SPEAKER_13]: Oh, please, please.
- 42:35[SPEAKER_13]: No, please.
- 42:36[SPEAKER_13]: Oh, we don't know if you'd be to hear that.
- 42:38[UNKNOWN]: No, no, no, no, no, no.
- 42:39[UNKNOWN]: Wait, wait, wait, wait.
- 42:40[SPEAKER_18]: It's not going to get, it's not going to get that way.
- 42:43[SPEAKER_13]: Okay.
- 42:43[SPEAKER_18]: I personally thank those two doctors that saved my life.
- 42:48[SPEAKER_18]: Right, okay, all right, thank you no no, okay, I'm glad I'm glad you're colon spack in tact.
- 42:58[SPEAKER_13]: All right, thanks a lot YouTube by by now.
- 43:01[SPEAKER_13]: All right, but after duty on the air.
- 43:05[SPEAKER_13]: Oh, nobody there already 755 1240 or phone number boy We got a lot of mileage out of this today.
- 43:11[SPEAKER_13]: We didn't even have to go any further on the blotter.
- 43:14[SPEAKER_13]: Well, let's go further
- 43:17[SPEAKER_13]: Oh, here's the D.W.I.
- 43:18[SPEAKER_13]: Uh, let's see.
- 43:23[SPEAKER_13]: Now, here's something, fourth-degree criminal mischief, this woman.
- 43:31[SPEAKER_13]: He's accused of grabbing the arm of a 40-year-old man, scratched his head, and damaged a picture frame.
- 43:40[SPEAKER_13]: And we gotta have, take up court time with that.
- 43:44[SPEAKER_13]: You grab my arm and scratch my head.
- 43:47[SPEAKER_13]: Well, you don't scratch it too hard.
- 43:49[SPEAKER_13]: That's a good thing.
- 43:52[SPEAKER_13]: Good afternoon, Ron here.
- 43:54[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, I'm Mr. Mayor.
- 43:55[SPEAKER_13]: Hey, what's up?
- 43:56[SPEAKER_08]: I have a couple of minutes to say that's why I've been brought to the situation.
- 44:02[SPEAKER_08]: One guy with choking on the food we have the birthday party and the guy with...
- 44:08[SPEAKER_08]: I don't know.
- 44:08[SPEAKER_08]: I don't even know what I'm like.
- 44:10[SPEAKER_08]: The guy says, I don't know what I'm like.
- 44:12[SPEAKER_08]: I said, well, do a look at the guy's choking.
- 44:18[UNKNOWN]: away from the other food.
- 44:20[UNKNOWN]: But then I go, we'll do how it is.
- 44:23[SPEAKER_08]: You know, I do it on the outer.
- 44:24[SPEAKER_08]: I'm afraid to break his ribs.
- 44:26[SPEAKER_08]: I said, but better you break his ribs than he coaks the down.
- 44:29[SPEAKER_08]: So he did look how does he could go and the foods put out and we saved the guy.
- 44:35[SPEAKER_13]: Well, that's great.
- 44:36[SPEAKER_13]: Good for you.
- 44:37[SPEAKER_13]: And good for your friends.
- 44:38[SPEAKER_13]: Hey, listen, you know, unfortunately we live in a world where
- 44:43[SPEAKER_08]: that you could save somebody's life by doing that break a rib and they'll see if a break in the rib yeah you know right and another one disguised here in the middle and he was in problems so i was check on that say he was a man as a destroyer he's on the door here's some property it is adding a story about the poor so we call the ambulance and uh... we had to mean this guy here because the door was absolutely at you some of you are not a door
- 45:13[SPEAKER_08]: and they got more afraid to push the door because we might break his neck.
- 45:18[SPEAKER_08]: Again, I said, well, but we've got a broken neck that he just lays there and dies.
- 45:22[SPEAKER_13]: So, tough calls, and not all these calls, yeah.
- 45:28[SPEAKER_08]: I said, let me squeeze in, they can know that's one of our guys, we've done.
- 45:31[SPEAKER_08]: Then Castro is up, pushes me out of the way, because it's get out of their way, and then we're, I just, I don't, well, okay, I was just trying to help them.
- 45:40[SPEAKER_08]: And then I split with half what happened.
- 45:42[SPEAKER_08]: You are, I understand, yeah, but, you know, very little professionals.
- 45:46[SPEAKER_08]: I said, well, yeah, but if they didn't get after, and the guy ended up dying.
- 45:52[SPEAKER_08]: So, one day, I'd be ending once he had.
- 45:55[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 45:57[SPEAKER_08]: But, yeah, I say, if somebody's dying or a children die, I'm going to do anything I can to help.
- 46:03[SPEAKER_08]: And if they want to sue me, go ahead and sue me.
- 46:05[SPEAKER_08]: I'm not going to let somebody die over.

- 49:14[SPEAKER_30]: That's due in part to older housing, and the number of children affected by lead exposure.
- 49:19[SPEAKER_30]: And if you own rental property in the city of Watertown, this is important.
- 49:24[SPEAKER_30]: Property owners with two or more rental units built before 1980 are required to register with the New York State lead rental registry.
- 49:32[SPEAKER_30]: This registry helps protect children and families by identifying housing that may pose a lead risk and by making sure landlords stay compliant with state law.
- 49:42[SPEAKER_30]: Lead poisoning is preventable and awareness is the first step.

- 52:13[SPEAKER_13]: Unfortunately, I'm milly Smith probably can't come on because I'm sure with pending accident courts got to go to court later this month So I got a song, but yeah, now the channel 7 report Says that there was Oh, I don't know
- 52:42[SPEAKER_13]: As there were several minutes there, we've...
- 52:47[SPEAKER_13]: Between when, Billy, started taking action, and when the other responders got there.
- 52:54[SPEAKER_13]: Good for all of them, they got there.
- 52:56[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 52:58[SPEAKER_13]: What else is going on?
- 53:04[SPEAKER_13]: Here's an interesting one.
- 53:09[SPEAKER_13]: Oh, this is from Glenn Curry's show.
- 53:11[SPEAKER_13]: Well, I asked the city manager, because we have the highest percentage of female police officers in New York State, which is great.
- 53:18[SPEAKER_13]: I mean, it's a good opportunity.
- 53:21[SPEAKER_13]: And Glenn asked Mr. Wagner if there could be a female police chief.
- 53:24[SPEAKER_13]: I think there probably will be one after the current Chief Rechirers.
- 53:29[SPEAKER_13]: But if you look at the pecking order,
- 53:41[SPEAKER_13]: everybody's into the first this first that now we've got first well first major party governor and lieutenant governor ticket that are first women and that's uh... governor hokul you know all know her and her new running mate a drean atoms who is a former speaker of the new arc city council and uh... city council member from queens at one time also quite an accomplished gospel singer
- 54:08[SPEAKER_13]: And Ms. Adams is 65 years old and she'll be nominated as the party does at knee this weekend in Syracuse.
- 54:17[SPEAKER_13]: At a convention, I think it's being held at the onset or when I'm not sure, that the life-saver mayor Ron McDougall will be at.
- 54:26[SPEAKER_13]: Mr. McDougall is, of course, supporting Governor Holkoll and let's issue James, he loves the let's issue.
- 54:38[SPEAKER_13]: So anyway, Republicans meet the following weekend down on Long Island for a convention.
- 54:44[SPEAKER_13]: They'll nominate Bruce Blakeman, and I don't know who for Lieutenant Governor.
- 54:48[SPEAKER_13]: Now there can still be a primary.
- 54:50[SPEAKER_13]: You've heard Delgado, Antonio Delgado.
- 54:53[SPEAKER_13]: He can circulate petitions, but he's not going to get 25% of the voter-coordinated McDougalette's convention.
- 55:01[SPEAKER_13]: And I guess, Mayor Momsdami has officially endorsed
- 55:06[SPEAKER_13]: He's buttered his bread on that side of the bread, I guess.
- 55:10[SPEAKER_13]: Good afternoon, you're on the air.
- 55:14[SPEAKER_13]: Hello.
- 55:16[SPEAKER_14]: Hello.
- 55:16[SPEAKER_13]: Go ahead, you're on the air.
- 55:18[SPEAKER_14]: Yes, sir.
- 55:19[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah, I just wanted a couple of comments.
- 55:22[SPEAKER_14]: I didn't know those service paid for Bingo.
- 55:24[SPEAKER_14]: But also about mellie.
- 55:26[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah.
- 55:26[SPEAKER_14]: I mean, would you rather have somebody jump into the situation and save your life?
- 55:31[SPEAKER_14]: or be like the people that just use their cell phones to uh... you know when the guy lit the girl on fire and subway there and then nobody helped her and put her out to burn to death and then i saw want to take videos of and stuff you know i i am actually so i am surprised there was not somebody who took video of the choking incident because that's what people do but thank all i'm whether they did or not and you know i don't know how to show
- 56:02[SPEAKER_13]: I don't know how to despise it if video is because it's a hectic moment and uh... that type of thing but uh... hopefully they get this settled and maybe they can be a repro-smart on this but i know miss Smith was very upset this morning and uh... i don't know i mean sometimes it's a political wish on a something good
- 56:25[SPEAKER_13]: Well, it is the former first lady of water town.
- 56:28[SPEAKER_13]: I mean, there is some potash or some title involved, I guess.
- 56:34[SPEAKER_14]: So, you know, if we take all that away and whatever, it takes you just a, you know, a lot of Biden citizens, not, you know, on the mean.
- 56:42[SPEAKER_14]: And then somebody's in trouble and you try to help them, you know,
- 56:47[SPEAKER_14]: look out of my way, look my neighbor's house is on fire, let go of here, let's go fire guys up and my neighbor came over and they had three guys they got on the TV radio on we in order to be the old days, you know, bring the bigger one nine but they've heard it
- 57:08[SPEAKER_14]: and he was driving over the geoflough guy because his house was going up fire he's going like a hundred he comes down here and he can open the door because this is the time for F&K and he smashed through the glass door with his head and opened the door and then with so much time fire dog burning up looking at his whole house burned down but yeah anyway he's just saying sometimes people need to step in
- 57:37[SPEAKER_14]: And I was glad if I was in that situation that somebody like Millie around, instead of like the poor lady on the subway or something like that.
- 57:46[SPEAKER_14]: And also about going into a pushing office, there's something like that, which is wicked trumped up charts, and I love the president.
- 57:54[SPEAKER_14]: I think he's doing outstanding few mistakes, but a lot better than a lot of the others you want to be had.
- 58:03[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah.
- 58:03[SPEAKER_14]: Pointless.
- 58:05[UNKNOWN]: Yeah.
- 58:05[SPEAKER_14]: And she's going to get in trouble for moving the office out of the way to save someone's life.
- 58:10[SPEAKER_14]: What are they doing to all these guys putting their hands on eye pages and spitting on them and stuff?
- 58:18[SPEAKER_13]: Well, I don't know.
- 58:20[SPEAKER_13]: We'll wait for the body cam video and then we'll have... We can judge it again.
- 58:25[SPEAKER_14]: I don't think they didn't get along in high school kind of crap.
- 58:30[SPEAKER_13]: Well, no, there's a big age difference between the two.
- 58:33[SPEAKER_14]: Well, yeah, but you know what, you know, it's a joke.
- 58:36[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah.
- 58:37[SPEAKER_13]: Oh, okay.
- 58:38[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah, you know, I love it.
- 58:40[SPEAKER_13]: Well, Millie is one of the mean girls.
- 58:42[SPEAKER_13]: So, you know, you got to take that into account.
- 58:46[SPEAKER_14]: She never bullied me.
- 58:47[SPEAKER_14]: She might have bullied my mother, but I'm just at the joke.
- 58:52[SPEAKER_13]: Mm-hmm.
- 58:53[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah.
- 58:54[SPEAKER_14]: I'll let you go.
- 58:55[SPEAKER_14]: Bye.
- 58:56[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 58:57[SPEAKER_13]: Well, last guy you're messed with a Peruvian woman.
- 58:59[SPEAKER_13]: You know what happened?
- 59:00[SPEAKER_13]: I don't have to tell you that story.
- 59:02[SPEAKER_13]: All righty, oh goodness, one a day, a whole hour of the talk about Millie, wow, you've got to give her a call after the show, she was thinking.
- 59:16[SPEAKER_13]: All righty, um, what do we got here?
- 59:22[SPEAKER_13]: When Korea will be in it five, I imagine, uh, I don't know what he'll be talking about.
- 59:27[SPEAKER_13]: He deals in weighty or issues, and I do, I'm kind of a,
- 59:31[SPEAKER_13]: Superficial type person, but go and deals in the weighty issues of our day as a big time guests So all of that so it's a little different there a little more a little more cerebral on Glenn show I guess the way to put it all right.
- 59:44[SPEAKER_13]: That is our show of shows for this What is it Thursday afternoon so far not snowing today?
- 59:51[SPEAKER_13]: We hope we're hoping we're hoping and this is the hotline on a community broadcast station We are AM 1240 WATF
