- 0:10Speaker 1: Shoo. It's time no Welcome to the naughty but nic
- 0:17Speaker 1: sham your house dump shooter. And it is Monday, which
- 0:19Speaker 1: means our dear friend, Garrett Vogel joins us. Hey, Garin,
- 0:22Speaker 1: are you there? Hey Bob, Hello, my friend's special day today.
- 0:25Speaker 1: We're trying to tape this episode so that we have
- 0:28Speaker 1: some visual as well as sad Garrett, this is the
- 0:31Speaker 1: new thing, this YouTube.
- 0:32Speaker 2: People, the naughties want it, and we deliver. You know
- 0:34Speaker 2: what I mean, how do we deliver? I don't know.
- 0:37Speaker 3: You know, just like Amazon, you don't question it. You
- 0:39Speaker 3: just accept it.
- 0:40Speaker 2: It shows up on your doorsteps and you open the
- 0:42Speaker 2: package and you move on with your life.
- 0:44Speaker 3: I leaning with this.
- 0:45Speaker 1: I love the faith. I love the faith that you
- 0:47Speaker 1: have in us, Garrett. I think I do too. Okay,
- 0:48Speaker 1: let's jump into as show. We've got a ton of
- 0:50Speaker 1: gossip today. What time is it, my friends? It is
- 0:52Speaker 1: t t time. Big story at the top of the show.
- 0:55Speaker 1: So George Clooney's wife or mottl skipped his biggest night.
- 0:59Speaker 1: He's on Broadway. So this has been Georgie's dream for
- 1:02Speaker 1: a really, really long time. He's getting raverviews, it's selling out.
- 1:06Speaker 1: I was lucky enough to see the play on Saturday.
- 1:09Speaker 1: It is phenomenal. He is extraordinary. However, on opening night,
- 1:13Speaker 1: it felt like the whole world was there, including Jennifer Lopez.
- 1:17Speaker 1: I've never seen a Broadway opening with this many stars. However,
- 1:21Speaker 1: there was one person missing, Emmel Clooney. I know, well,
- 1:25Speaker 1: he said to reporters who asked, where's them all? And
- 1:29Speaker 1: he said, she's with the kids. So he has two
- 1:32Speaker 1: seven year old twins, and so he said she was
- 1:35Speaker 1: with the twins. However, a source tells me this just
- 1:39Speaker 1: doesn't add up. They have help. They could get a babysitter.
- 1:44Speaker 1: They certainly have the money to afford to hire somebody
- 1:47Speaker 1: to come over. And I know that sounds silly, but
- 1:49Speaker 1: a lot of people don't. I get it. I grew
- 1:51Speaker 1: up with not a lot of money. My mom and
- 1:53Speaker 1: dad couldn't really afford babysitters. We're talking about George Clooney.
- 1:57Speaker 1: He could have got a babysitter if he wanted. What
- 1:59Speaker 1: is going on here? What do you think, Karret?
- 2:02Speaker 2: You know, I I was reading the story, and you know,
- 2:05Speaker 2: I kind of kind of understand.
- 2:07Speaker 3: The perspective of a babysitter.
- 2:09Speaker 2: So like on Saturday, I'm no George Cloning, and my
- 2:11Speaker 2: wife's not in all by any means. But my wife
- 2:14Speaker 2: went out with friends right and a friend of mine said, hey,
- 2:17Speaker 2: you want to come out to dinner. That left me,
- 2:19Speaker 2: you know, looking for a babysitter and trying to trying
- 2:23Speaker 2: to get a babysitter at certain times could be tough.
- 2:25Speaker 2: And given yes, they have money, they could pay any
- 2:28Speaker 2: babysitter in the world.
- 2:29Speaker 3: But it's just the principle.
- 2:31Speaker 2: Of you know, like I don't know you, I don't
- 2:36Speaker 2: kind of understand it, I understand it, I don't know.
- 2:38Speaker 1: If I do, I don't know. But I don't have children,
- 2:40Speaker 1: So I'm deferring to you on this one. I think
- 2:42Speaker 1: the difference between your story, there's many differences, but the
- 2:44Speaker 1: biggest difference between this and Opening Night is this wasn't
- 2:47Speaker 1: spare of the moment your friends called you in the
- 2:50Speaker 1: last minute. I've had friends that have called me in
- 2:52Speaker 1: the last minute, and it's difficult to juggle. However, what
- 2:55Speaker 1: has probably been on my schedule for a good year
- 2:58Speaker 1: is my husband's Opening Night, Like that is something that
- 3:00Speaker 1: he's in the diary.
- 3:02Speaker 2: The glitz and the glamor of Opening Night. I get
- 3:03Speaker 2: it the red carpet and the photos. But you know
- 3:07Speaker 2: what if she went the night before? You know what
- 3:08Speaker 2: I mean, like it's it's it's not opening night, but
- 3:11Speaker 2: it is opening night in a sense because the show
- 3:13Speaker 2: already is at one hundred percent. You know what you're doing.
- 3:16Speaker 2: They're not changing much. I mean, so what if she
- 3:18Speaker 2: saw it the night before or the night before that?
- 3:20Speaker 1: I think that didn't happen. I have friends that went
- 3:23Speaker 1: during previews the night before the opening. My friend was
- 3:27Speaker 1: in the audience and he saw Julia Roberts. Julia didn't
- 3:30Speaker 1: want to go to the opening night. She doesn't like
- 3:31Speaker 1: there's big sort of moments, but she wanted to support George.
- 3:34Speaker 1: There's no photographs of them all coming in or out
- 3:37Speaker 1: of this theater. I know the photographers are camped out
- 3:40Speaker 1: at the front, on the back of the venue. There's
- 3:42Speaker 1: just been no evidence of her being there. What makes
- 3:45Speaker 1: it extraordinary for me is that George has been very
- 3:48Speaker 1: very clear that this has been his dream for a
- 3:51Speaker 1: really long time. This isn't just some movie he's making
- 3:55Speaker 1: another TV show. No, this isn't an appearance on the
- 3:59Speaker 1: Kelly Clarkson, No, this is his dream. He's wanted to
- 4:02Speaker 1: be on Broadway his whole life. His aunt was Rosemary Clooney,
- 4:06Speaker 1: a legendary singer, and so I think that this is
- 4:09Speaker 1: something he's really been looking forward to. His wife wasn't
- 4:13Speaker 1: there now I'm hearing rumors. I don't know if this
- 4:15Speaker 1: is true yet, but she's moved back to France. So
- 4:18Speaker 1: the children go to school in France. People think that
- 4:22Speaker 1: they're based in the case, they've been in France for
- 4:24Speaker 1: a really, really long time. I would have given the
- 4:27Speaker 1: kids the day of school, maybe so that I could
- 4:30Speaker 1: go to Daddy's big opening night.
- 4:32Speaker 2: But you know what, you know, for for Dad, meaning
- 4:35Speaker 2: George Clooney, like anything that Dad does, Like at one point,
- 4:39Speaker 2: like they're almost numb to it, you know what I mean,
- 4:41Speaker 2: Like it's it's he movie star, entrepreneur, like the are
- 4:46Speaker 2: these are things in Plus, a seven year old does
- 4:48Speaker 2: not want to sit through that show, right.
- 4:51Speaker 1: I'm not saying I don't think it's a show for
- 4:54Speaker 1: seven years. It's a great show, it's a great play.
- 4:56Speaker 1: I don't think it's a show for seven years. But
- 4:58Speaker 1: remember he's not just the of this, he's the writer.
- 5:02Speaker 1: He wrote the script. He's going to be up for
- 5:04Speaker 1: a Tony Award for Best New Play and he could
- 5:08Speaker 1: win it. He might win for Best and yeah, I
- 5:11Speaker 1: think he's got a very good shot of winning. But
- 5:13Speaker 1: will a male go to the ton is is there
- 5:15Speaker 1: trouble here?
- 5:16Speaker 3: That's what I think. I think that will be a
- 5:18Speaker 3: tel rap.
- 5:19Speaker 2: If she doesn't show up at the Tony's hand in hand,
- 5:22Speaker 2: then then I will I will say, you know what,
- 5:24Speaker 2: Rob Shooter, for the first time in my life, I
- 5:26Speaker 2: will admit you are right and I am rong.
- 5:28Speaker 1: First time.
- 5:29Speaker 3: Maybe we've done record, record on record.
- 5:32Speaker 1: This is a very interesting part of what we do
- 5:37Speaker 1: for a living. Often we know of trouble in celebrity
- 5:41Speaker 1: relationships when they stop turning up together. When we stopped
- 5:46Speaker 1: seeing Jennifer with Ben Affleck, it was a little bit
- 5:49Speaker 1: of a red flag. I'm not saying it's the whole story,
- 5:52Speaker 1: and this is certainly the beginning of this story now.
- 5:54Speaker 1: But the rumors have started. They're out there really loud.
- 5:58Speaker 1: They might not be in the main stream yet, but
- 6:01Speaker 1: they're certainly online. I'm hearing a lot of whispers. I
- 6:05Speaker 1: called some of George's friends and they did not know
- 6:08Speaker 1: why she was. They thought it was odd, They thought
- 6:10Speaker 1: it was hard. I didn't get to Brad this time,
- 6:13Speaker 1: but I think they weren't there either though. Where were they?
- 6:16Speaker 1: Shouldn't they? Garrett and Broadway, I'd be there. I would
- 6:20Speaker 1: be there and why there for you as well?
- 6:22Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 6:23Speaker 2: I will be front and row for Barry Manilow's stint
- 6:27Speaker 2: at Radio City Music Hall coming up, as as as
- 6:30Speaker 2: I will be the truest of fanoos just for you.
- 6:32Speaker 1: I'm sure he will appreciate it, which brings us to
- 6:36Speaker 1: our whole question of the day. A more clooney. George's
- 6:40Speaker 1: wife skipped his big Broadway opening night. We've not seen
- 6:44Speaker 1: her at the play at all, George said. The whole
- 6:46Speaker 1: family moved to New York. We haven't really seen them,
- 6:49Speaker 1: and New York's are city where we do get to
- 6:52Speaker 1: see celebrities. There are photographers everywhere. What do you think?
- 6:56Speaker 1: Is this a red flag? Is there trouble in this relationship?
- 6:59Speaker 1: But we're going to be hearing about this now. I
- 7:01Speaker 1: know we all want to be like, no, it's not
- 7:04Speaker 1: gonna happen. They're all fine. This is the beginning. Trust
- 7:07Speaker 1: your friend, Rob, this is the beginning. Hey, go vote
- 7:10Speaker 1: on at Twitter page at Naughty Nice Rob at Facebook
- 7:13Speaker 1: page is not to gossip and be sure to take
- 7:15Speaker 1: back tomorrow to hear your results.
- 7:17Speaker 3: Take on.
- 7:18Speaker 1: What are you working on?
- 7:19Speaker 3: All right? Well?
- 7:19Speaker 2: Elton John was on SNL over the weekend too with
- 7:23Speaker 2: Brandy Carlisle and pretty amazing, I mean Elton John. To
- 7:26Speaker 2: think about it, Sir Elton John, Sir Elton John, make
- 7:29Speaker 2: sure you get it correct, and he will correct.
- 7:31Speaker 3: You if you call him Elton John. He is seventy
- 7:33Speaker 3: eight years old. Seventy eight years.
- 7:35Speaker 2: Old and still just as rocking the piano like he's twenty,
- 7:39Speaker 2: you know, and as you may know that he has
- 7:43Speaker 2: been having trouble with his eyesight over the last couple
- 7:46Speaker 2: of years too, where he just admitted just over the
- 7:49Speaker 2: weekend too, where he has trouble seeing his children, He
- 7:51Speaker 2: has trouble seeing, seeing the piano, just things in front
- 7:54Speaker 2: of him.
- 7:54Speaker 3: And it's very stressful.
- 7:56Speaker 2: But with that, while he played on SNL this week,
- 8:00Speaker 2: and he's been using a teleprompter not just on SNL
- 8:04Speaker 2: but while on stage in concert two to help him
- 8:06Speaker 2: along with some of his songs because not only not
- 8:09Speaker 2: only does he have trouble seeing, but he has trouble
- 8:11Speaker 2: remembering some of the lyrics sometimes.
- 8:12Speaker 3: And I don't blame the man.
- 8:14Speaker 2: I mean, think of how many songs he has to
- 8:17Speaker 2: put into his brain. Like I have trouble remembering what
- 8:19Speaker 2: I had for breakfast, to ask Ellen to remember every
- 8:22Speaker 2: single lyric at times, and you know what, especially on TV.
- 8:25Speaker 2: And I think you know this too, Rob, No matter
- 8:28Speaker 2: if you are the Elton Johns of the world or
- 8:31Speaker 2: just literally starting out, if you're performing, it's there as
- 8:34Speaker 2: almost like a fail safe. Yeah, you know, like like
- 8:38Speaker 2: artists use it just in case, you know, and some
- 8:41Speaker 2: people that don't understand the business see it and go,
- 8:43Speaker 2: oh my god.
- 8:45Speaker 3: They use a teleprompter to sing there song.
- 8:48Speaker 2: It's more there just just in case, because there's a
- 8:51Speaker 2: lot going on too. But it's you know, and and
- 8:54Speaker 2: I think I'm at the point where it's it's kind
- 8:56Speaker 2: of it, I guess sad to say, where you see
- 9:00Speaker 2: people like Sir Elton John getting older and then the
- 9:02Speaker 2: part of life, but you don't want to your all
- 9:04Speaker 2: admit it though. And you and I will have our
- 9:07Speaker 2: readers eventually, our glasses on as we sit on the
- 9:11Speaker 2: porch sipping some tea and reading the newspaper.
- 9:15Speaker 3: You know, it will happen. It'll happen. To us too.
- 9:17Speaker 1: Yeah, I think growing older is something that I know
- 9:20Speaker 1: would not think. I know it's going to happen to
- 9:22Speaker 1: all of us, and yet there's still so much rumors
- 9:25Speaker 1: and speculation and innuendo about oh my goodness, they're rowing older.
- 9:28Speaker 3: Yes they are.
- 9:29Speaker 1: Sarah Jessica Parker talked about this recently. She was shot
- 9:32Speaker 1: with gray hair and people were well horrified, and she's like,
- 9:35Speaker 1: I have gray hair. I'm sixty.
- 9:37Speaker 2: Kerry Brady, we don't let people grow up, and I
- 9:41Speaker 2: think that's because we don't want to grow up ourselves.
- 9:43Speaker 1: I saw Elton John recently in concert. He's phenomenal. The songs,
- 9:48Speaker 1: the performance, the voice, he's phenomenal. Now let's point out
- 9:51Speaker 1: to on SNL he was there with Brandy. They have
- 9:54Speaker 1: a new album out, which I hear is one of
- 9:56Speaker 1: the best Elton John's albums in the last decade. The
- 9:59Speaker 1: reviews for it incredible. He was singing a new song,
- 10:01Speaker 1: so this wasn't one of the old classic songs that
- 10:04Speaker 1: he's been doing for thirty forty fifty fifty years. This
- 10:07Speaker 1: was a brand new song. He didn't want to mess
- 10:09Speaker 1: it up, and so it was sort of like a
- 10:11Speaker 1: safety net there. I don't have any problem with this.
- 10:13Speaker 1: I really don't. When I get to see pop stars,
- 10:15Speaker 1: I remember I saw Barbra Streis and perform everything she says,
- 10:18Speaker 1: including Hello New York was on the teleprocter. So I
- 10:22Speaker 1: don't think I have a problem with it, do you?
- 10:24Speaker 2: No, not at all, And especially it's one of those
- 10:26Speaker 2: things where I think, no matter what, Sir, Elton John
- 10:30Speaker 2: is one of those performers that he earned, right.
- 10:33Speaker 1: He's got nothing to prove at this point, you're Elton John. Yes, sir, sir,
- 10:37Speaker 1: You've got nothing to prove, Okay, Elton, Sir Elton. Moving along,
- 10:41Speaker 1: we find out that Megan Markel's selling out all her
- 10:43Speaker 1: products might not be as fabulous as it what it
- 10:46Speaker 1: first sounds. So Meghan Marktel launched her products last week.
- 10:50Speaker 1: She had honey for twenty eight dollars. How expensive, Jammy's
- 10:53Speaker 1: fourteen dollars, Tease twelve dollars.
- 10:56Speaker 3: Has she been talking to Gwyneth Paltrow?
- 10:58Speaker 1: She has, They had a little meat together. So it
- 11:00Speaker 1: sold out within an hour. Now, this got headlines everywhere. However,
- 11:05Speaker 1: sources are telling me that it now was really carefully orchestrated.
- 11:10Speaker 1: Let me explain two of each product so Meg, that's
- 11:12Speaker 1: all right. Megan is a marketing genius, there's no doubt
- 11:15Speaker 1: about that. But here's the catch. She's not actually making
- 11:17Speaker 1: any money. So she only had a limited edition. There
- 11:20Speaker 1: was not a lot of product to sell. So if
- 11:22Speaker 1: you only make five pots of jam, you're probably gonna
- 11:25Speaker 1: sell them pretty quick. She didn't make twenty thousand. I
- 11:28Speaker 1: think she made more than five. Now. The problem is
- 11:30Speaker 1: with this is there's something called economy of scale, which
- 11:33Speaker 1: means the more you produce, the lower you can average
- 11:37Speaker 1: the price. I think I'm getting that right. So when
- 11:39Speaker 1: you only produce a limited amount each of those each
- 11:44Speaker 1: of those products are very, very expensive. So she wanted
- 11:46Speaker 1: the headlines that she sold out, but we shouldn't be
- 11:49Speaker 1: too impressed by that because we don't actually know how
- 11:52Speaker 1: many she sold. And insiders are telling me it wasn't
- 11:55Speaker 1: a lot. It wasn't a lot. I mean, I want
- 11:57Speaker 1: to cut her INBC.
- 11:59Speaker 3: I need you want to see NBC explaining business to
- 12:01Speaker 3: me next.
- 12:02Speaker 2: Please, Yeah, terrorists give me tariffs speech and rob to speak.
- 12:05Speaker 2: I think I would understand it because I understood what
- 12:07Speaker 2: you just said.
- 12:09Speaker 1: Look at that.
- 12:10Speaker 2: Yeah, if I read it, I would have been like Okay, great,
- 12:12Speaker 2: what how But the way you I think the way
- 12:14Speaker 2: you explained for those that aren't in the know or
- 12:17Speaker 2: aren't familiar with business, I think it was it was
- 12:19Speaker 2: said perfect.
- 12:20Speaker 1: Well, good, I'm glad that you have understood it because
- 12:23Speaker 1: now you can explain it to me. No, I get it,
- 12:25Speaker 1: I get it. I wish that get well here. And
- 12:28Speaker 1: a lot of companies do this. A lot of people
- 12:29Speaker 1: do limited edition. When people do lines at Target, they
- 12:33Speaker 1: don't make that much products. They want it, want it
- 12:35Speaker 1: to sell out, but you've also got to make a profit.
- 12:37Speaker 1: I think Megan's still figuring all this out, and I
- 12:39Speaker 1: do wish the best here. I tried to order some
- 12:42Speaker 1: of that jam, but unfortunately it did sell ad.
- 12:45Speaker 3: A friend of mine did get I'm going to make
- 12:47Speaker 3: you some jam.
- 12:48Speaker 1: I want some. I want some of Megan's jam. Okay,
- 12:50Speaker 1: moving along, we have a I love Michael blue Blair.
- 12:53Speaker 1: I'm just gonna be honest about this efferent Michael blue
- 12:55Speaker 1: Blair story.
- 12:55Speaker 3: What is happening.
- 12:56Speaker 1: He's been dragged into the press and he doesn't like and.
- 12:59Speaker 2: You know what, yah, you know who's dragging into the
- 13:01Speaker 2: press another reality story. So it's not like it's not
- 13:04Speaker 2: like another singer. It's not like a Grammy Award winning uh,
- 13:08Speaker 2: you know, actress.
- 13:09Speaker 3: Whatever.
- 13:10Speaker 2: So the Bachelorette alum who was also on Dancing with
- 13:12Speaker 2: the Stars, Gabby Windey Winday, she she made some claims
- 13:17Speaker 2: that Boublay literally I ft her during their twenty twenty
- 13:22Speaker 2: run on Dancing with the Stars said, uh, now, she
- 13:25Speaker 2: was very vocal about this encounter. Uh and and and
- 13:29Speaker 2: Boublay is baffled by the whole thing.
- 13:31Speaker 3: Who is she?
- 13:33Speaker 2: Which is a great comeback if you think about it. So,
- 13:35Speaker 2: if you're accused of something like and it goes everywhere
- 13:38Speaker 2: because you might have seen it on your timeline, take.
- 13:40Speaker 3: The route of who the hell is she? Pretty much?
- 13:44Speaker 1: You know Shay, I'm told sources tell me he's totally
- 13:47Speaker 1: baffled by this and he's not doing a Mariah Carey
- 13:50Speaker 1: j LO like I don't know her like it just
- 13:52Speaker 1: is like, what what is this? And we should be
- 13:55Speaker 1: clear here, the former Bachelorette is not accusing Michael of
- 13:59Speaker 1: sexual harassment into a crossing a line. This is a look,
- 14:01Speaker 1: she said. He gave her a look which she thought
- 14:04Speaker 1: was quite quite.
- 14:06Speaker 3: She delivered it, but the way she delivered it medal.
- 14:09Speaker 1: She's a reality star. Let's let's face it. She knows
- 14:11Speaker 1: what she's doing. She knows how to make a headline.
- 14:12Speaker 1: She did make a headline. We were all talking about this,
- 14:15Speaker 1: but yeah, Michael was like what And if you imagine
- 14:17Speaker 1: the amount of people, including me, that have made eyes
- 14:21Speaker 1: at Michael, like, forget Michael's eyes, It's like.
- 14:24Speaker 3: A Michael bublay Ie orgy.
- 14:26Speaker 1: You know, so cute. He's one of my favorite celebrities, Garrett.
- 14:31Speaker 2: He is very I guess the closes you could say
- 14:35Speaker 2: is normal normal.
- 14:37Speaker 1: He's just absolutely charming. And hey, with the team Michael
- 14:42Speaker 1: on this, we're going to take a quick break and
- 14:43Speaker 1: we'll be right back. Welcome back to the not even
- 14:49Speaker 1: nic Shaw your heads from shoot with that dear friend,
- 14:50Speaker 1: Garrett Virgel, Hey, Garrett, let's get to the.
- 14:52Speaker 3: Poles that serios Shaw.
- 14:54Speaker 1: We talked about Tom Hanks being heartbroken over his daughter's
- 14:57Speaker 1: brutal memoir. His daughter has a booker and it's pretty
- 15:01Speaker 1: pretty graphic about growing up and how difficult that was.
- 15:03Speaker 1: It was before Tom was a star, first marriage, not
- 15:07Speaker 1: a lot of money, really struggling to make it in
- 15:09Speaker 1: the business, and it was hard to be around Tom.
- 15:13Speaker 1: The family. I feel terrible here for the daughter. But
- 15:16Speaker 1: a question was will you read it? Will you read
- 15:18Speaker 1: this book? I don't think anybody wants to read anything
- 15:20Speaker 1: mean about Tom, but will you read it? Oh? Only
- 15:23Speaker 1: forty percent said yes, You're not into this book now.
- 15:26Speaker 1: I have mixed feelings about it, naughty. It's her story
- 15:30Speaker 1: to tell, though. It is her story to tell, so
- 15:32Speaker 1: I can't take that away from her. However, let's be honest,
- 15:34Speaker 1: if her dad wasn't Tom Hanks, we probably wouldn't be
- 15:37Speaker 1: talking about this.
- 15:38Speaker 3: And you know it stinks for Tom.
- 15:39Speaker 2: He looks like he's just patching things up with his
- 15:42Speaker 2: other sunschet. Yeah, and then it's like, all right, great,
- 15:46Speaker 2: we're backing.
- 15:48Speaker 1: That thing where the things pop up and you have
- 15:50Speaker 1: to whack them all. It's just, oh my goodness. Hey
- 15:54Speaker 1: go vote on today's poul Go to a payack Naughty
- 15:57Speaker 1: Nice Rob, or our Facebook page is Noughty Gossip AMBI
- 16:01Speaker 1: sure to check back tomorrow to hear your results. And
- 16:04Speaker 1: that my favorite part of the show. It's time for
- 16:07Speaker 1: our noisiest of the day.
- 16:11Speaker 2: Well, all right, so I know you're so much into sports, Rob,
- 16:14Speaker 2: and hopefully you can help me walk walk me through
- 16:17Speaker 2: this one. So Rob Gronkowski, he was a teammate of
- 16:20Speaker 2: Tom Brady's back in the day, who is a big,
- 16:25Speaker 2: tall guy.
- 16:25Speaker 3: Uh.
- 16:26Speaker 2: They played in New England together and in Tampa together,
- 16:29Speaker 2: and he admitted what I think a lot of people
- 16:31Speaker 2: already know, but still, uh, he checked out Tom Brady
- 16:34Speaker 2: in the shower. So does every straight athlete, no matter
- 16:37Speaker 2: what gay, straight, No matter what, you're checking out Tom Brady.
- 16:40Speaker 2: How can you not, especially that chin line. Let's be honest.
- 16:42Speaker 2: I'm actually gonna go see Tom Brady on Friday at
- 16:45Speaker 2: them All in New Jersey. Yeah, there will be no shower,
- 16:51Speaker 2: all right. So Rob Gronkowski, he was on Dudes on
- 16:54Speaker 2: Dudes podcast, which is just funny enough to think about.
- 16:57Speaker 2: That's the name where we're talking about a story of
- 17:00Speaker 2: watching each other post game in the showers. But this
- 17:04Speaker 2: is coming actually from your sub stack, where you know
- 17:08Speaker 2: that Tom Brady a little bit rattled by that because
- 17:10Speaker 2: he didn't he didn't think his best friend, literally they
- 17:13Speaker 2: are best friends, would you know, speak like that?
- 17:16Speaker 3: But you know, but but just like just like best.
- 17:19Speaker 2: Friends and you and I do this to you tease
- 17:20Speaker 2: each other, you do just happened to be Yeah, they
- 17:23Speaker 2: happen to be doing it on a very public personal
- 17:26Speaker 2: level or very private, private, private personal level.
- 17:28Speaker 1: I don't think Tom is bothered that he had a
- 17:31Speaker 1: little look when they're in the showers. I think the
- 17:33Speaker 1: story here is that now he's talking about it if
- 17:37Speaker 1: he's admitted this. These stories slip out slowly, don't they.
- 17:40Speaker 1: So first you admit, oh, I did have a peak,
- 17:42Speaker 1: and man, the next question is going to be and
- 17:44Speaker 1: what did you say? Like if I was interviewing him,
- 17:47Speaker 1: i'd say you said you had the follow up question
- 17:49Speaker 1: and then the follow up pressure. And I don't think
- 17:51Speaker 1: Tom really wants to talk about that. Tom has a
- 17:53Speaker 1: great sense of humor. He really does. I think a
- 17:55Speaker 1: lot of people don't think he does. He wouldn't have
- 17:56Speaker 1: done that roast if he didn't enjoy comedy. But you're
- 18:00Speaker 1: still it's kind of a personal thing. It's not something
- 18:02Speaker 1: I would particularly want my friends talking about. And so
- 18:06Speaker 1: I do get it.
- 18:08Speaker 3: So you don't want me talking about you?
- 18:10Speaker 1: Okay, we're going to move on. We have not been
- 18:12Speaker 1: in the showers together naked yet, Garrett and I don't know.
- 18:15Speaker 1: I don't know if we'll ever be. So I don't want
- 18:17Speaker 1: to play sports we're not going to get in the
- 18:19Speaker 1: gym together.
- 18:20Speaker 2: No, yeah, no, that's like an episode of White Loadus
- 18:25Speaker 2: wearing down.
- 18:27Speaker 1: Okay, let's I know what. It's the day naughty, naughty
- 18:29Speaker 1: not a Gail King set a gay slur on television
- 18:33Speaker 1: and she's getting a lot of backlash, but not from
- 18:35Speaker 1: inside CBS. So Gail had on an openly gay comedian
- 18:40Speaker 1: Mateo Lane. I think he's very funny. They're explaining Radio City.
- 18:43Speaker 1: He's really really great. He makes a joke about being
- 18:46Speaker 1: a gay guy. She repeated it back, but unfortunately they
- 18:51Speaker 1: had a gay slur in the joke. Now insiders are
- 18:55Speaker 1: telling me that that Gail is an ally, she is
- 18:58Speaker 1: not a homophone. Of people inside CBS who are gay
- 19:01Speaker 1: absolutely love her, are defending her. This seems a lot
- 19:06Speaker 1: of nonsense about nothing, at least to me, Garrett, What
- 19:09Speaker 1: do you think, right?
- 19:10Speaker 3: No, I think so too.
- 19:11Speaker 2: But it's again, you know, for those that just read
- 19:14Speaker 2: headlines in the world, it's front page, right. But if
- 19:18Speaker 2: you read the first paragraph, you watch the watch the interview,
- 19:22Speaker 2: and you know Gail, then you kind of understand like
- 19:26Speaker 2: it's not coming from a place of hatred.
- 19:28Speaker 1: It's not from patrio. Yes, that's what it is. It's
- 19:30Speaker 1: not what you say always, it's how you say it.
- 19:32Speaker 1: I noticed of the day. Okay, let's end with the
- 19:34Speaker 1: moment of Rob Rob. Meaning isn't given, it's created. Finding
- 19:40Speaker 1: meaning in your life is your responsibility. It's easy to
- 19:44Speaker 1: think that purpose comes from your job title, or your company,
- 19:47Speaker 1: or your paycheck, but it actually doesn't. Real meaning comes
- 19:53Speaker 1: from you. So think about it today. Why are you
- 19:56Speaker 1: showing God? What is the real meaning of this? It's
- 19:58Speaker 1: not to get the paycheck. It's not to be popular,
- 20:01Speaker 1: it's not to leave the house. What's the real meaning
- 20:04Speaker 1: of this? And if you figure that out you will
- 20:06Speaker 1: be much happier my friends. Hey, that is it for today.
- 20:08Speaker 1: Thank you so much for listening to The Naughty but
