- 0:00If this message has found you, you want to be seen.
- 0:03You are calling in more visibility,
- 0:05stepping into your power, stepping into purpose,
- 0:08stepping into being seen in your magic and in your gifts.
- 0:11But at the very same time,
- 0:13the only thing that matches how passionately you want
- 0:17to be seen is how terrified you are of being seen.
- 0:22So you have this dual dance that you are doing
- 0:25between oh my word, that looks so juicy and exciting
- 0:28and I would love to be more seen and I would love to
- 0:30serve people through that visibility.
- 0:33And this could look like online visibility,
- 0:35starting a YouTube channel or growing your YouTube channel,
- 0:37taking it to the next level,
- 0:39or it could look like posting on TikTok,
- 0:41starting a blog, a sub-stack, having a newsletter.
- 0:43So it could look like online visibility,
- 0:46but it could also look like offline visibility.
- 0:49Speaking on a stage, hosting an event,
- 0:51taking up a leadership role in your community,
- 0:54being seen in your community, in space,
- 0:56in time, out there in the wild, okay?
- 0:59So I have realized like I used to think
- 1:01the fear of being seen was this very narrow topic,
- 1:03but I'm realizing almost in its specificity
- 1:06is its universality, the feeling that in a meeting
- 1:10or in a conversation, you have this thing you want to say
- 1:13and you feel the power of it,
- 1:14but it almost makes your heart beat so much
- 1:16that you're like oh my word,
- 1:17this is actually such a good idea.
- 1:18It's funny, the fear of success and the fear of being seen
- 1:21are so intimately woven because it's like oh my word,
- 1:23I almost can't face my own potency, my own power.
- 1:27And speaking this voice into the room,
- 1:29I'm equally terrified that people will think
- 1:32that I said something very wrong or unimportant
- 1:35or they'll think oh my gosh, that was like excellent
- 1:38and then I'll be held to the standard
- 1:39and then I'll have to keep that up.
- 1:40And so the fear of success is really merged
- 1:43in what the fear of being seen.
- 1:45For example, when it comes to the online space,
- 1:47what if I am seen and what if it goes well
- 1:49and then what if I have all these responsibilities
- 1:51and what are people ask things of me
- 1:52that I am not in the position to give
- 1:54and what if I lose my freedom, right?
- 1:55Like we have these deep fears and I feel you,
- 1:57it feels like the bigger it goes, there's more to lose
- 2:01and there's more that's going to be demanded of us.
- 2:04I understand and I feel you.
- 2:05So the fear of being seen affects us in our lives.
- 2:08The difficult conversations were scared to have.
- 2:10And then when we do have the difficult conversation,
- 2:13sometimes we won't even get to the deeper layer
- 2:15of what the conflict is actually about.
- 2:18We'll tell them maybe some of the surface things,
- 2:19but are we willing to be seen in like the underlying pain,
- 2:23the underlying trauma or experience
- 2:25that were terrified or feel really ashamed of voicing?
- 2:28So the fear of being seen affects each of us
- 2:30in our day-to-day lives, whether it's in relationships,
- 2:32friendships or in our creativity as creators as artists.
- 2:36We both long to be seen for our art
- 2:39and also because this is such a vulnerable part of us.
- 2:41It feels terrifying that we may be rejected, canceled,
- 2:45criticized or misunderstood,
- 2:46something that I believe in if you're new here,
- 2:49is that the collective is dreaming through each of our dreams.
- 2:52And so none of our dreams, when it comes to the podcast
- 2:55you want to start or the book you want to write,
- 2:57the event you want to host, the movement you want to join
- 2:59or lead like none of that is just you sitting
- 3:02on an island dreaming.
- 3:03In my heart, I feel that it is a collective consciousness
- 3:06and it is this new earth trying to awaken through our dreams.
- 3:10Our dreams are a portal to an unseen dimension of reality,
- 3:14to our subconscious, to the infinite, to intuition.
- 3:17And so equally, since the universe exists
- 3:19on these different scales,
- 3:21did you know that the shape of your neural pathways
- 3:24maps onto the shape of galaxies in the universe?
- 3:27Like we're magical beings, we are magical beings.
- 3:29And so, since the universe exists on all these scales,
- 3:32what if just as our dreams are a portal to the unseen world,
- 3:37you, my love, your creations, your consciousness
- 3:41is a portal to a new kind of world
- 3:43that every creation actually represents a portal
- 3:46into the consciousness and also into the kind of values
- 3:50and way of seeing the world that that artist has.
- 3:52And I'm going to give you an example.
- 3:54If you read a poem and you feel transformed by the poem
- 3:57in a sense, you've stepped through the portal
- 3:59of that artist's creation and you feel really invited,
- 4:02you feel really warm and welcome in that portal.
- 4:05As you've stepped through it, it leads to a place
- 4:08that looks more beautiful to you,
- 4:09that looks more wonderful, more wholesome.
- 4:11And you are forever changed by having been invited
- 4:14to walk through that portal.
- 4:16So, on that point, something that can really support you
- 4:19as you face the fear of being seen
- 4:21is this idea of an invitation.
- 4:24Now, all of us have faced the feeling of not being invited,
- 4:27right? You know, you're not invited to the party,
- 4:29you're the wedding, the event, you're not invited
- 4:31to that thing you saw you were going to be invited to
- 4:33and it feels like you're excluded.
- 4:35You're on the outside looking in,
- 4:36why does no one value you enough to invite you?
- 4:39You would have so invited them how dare they not invite you.
- 4:41It's very painful, especially if some of your friends
- 4:44are going and then they're talking about this event
- 4:46or this wedding and you're like,
- 4:47fuck, like I wasn't invited, it's so unjust.
- 4:53We felt the absolute exclusion and isolation
- 4:56of being on the outside looking in.
- 4:58And my love, when it comes to your creations
- 5:03and the ideas that you have but you don't work on
- 5:06or you work on but then don't share,
- 5:08I invite you to consider that these are unoffered
- 5:11invitations to the collective consciousness.
- 5:14These are things that people actually want to be invited to
- 5:17but you are depriving them of even the chance to say yes
- 5:21or no because we are so certain people will reject
- 5:25the invitation because on the other hand,
- 5:26there's the person who invites people to the event
- 5:29and no one shows up.
- 5:30That feels really humiliating, it feels very heartbreaking.
- 5:34That feels like a sense of deep isolation
- 5:36on the other side that you were vulnerable
- 5:38in inviting people and then no one came.
- 5:41Very painful, that it makes you almost want to retreat
- 5:44even further inwards, okay fine,
- 5:46then I'll never invite anyone to anything again
- 5:48because then I'll be able to protect myself
- 5:50from the sense of this wound, okay,
- 5:52of isolation of rejection is the deep fear.
- 5:56So I know that when you are protecting yourself
- 5:59from making these invitations by that,
- 6:01I mean posting the essay on Substack,
- 6:04speaking up in the meeting, sharing an idea,
- 6:06what if we did this, having the difficult conversation,
- 6:09sharing your art with the world in person or online,
- 6:12sharing it on Instagram, on TikTok,
- 6:14wherever you feel called,
- 6:15inviting people to come to your spoken poetry event,
- 6:19whatever it may be,
- 6:20there are all these unoffered invitations
- 6:24that are littered across the collective
- 6:26of these moments that don't get to happen
- 6:29because of the fear that is blocking us
- 6:31from making the invitation.
- 6:33At a grander scale, the biggest thing
- 6:35repressing these invitations is of course,
- 6:37supremacy, coloniality, capitalism like systemic factors
- 6:41are the biggest block to creativity
- 6:43and that creativity fully being expressed or lived.
- 6:46So absolutely, one technology to that first and foremost.
- 6:49When it comes to when we are in a position to share
- 6:52our voice with the world in some way, shape or form,
- 6:55such as we want to start a TikTok,
- 6:57but then we're afraid to,
- 6:59or we want to start a podcast or a YouTube,
- 7:01but we're afraid to,
- 7:02that is an unoffered invitation to the collective consciousness.
- 7:06Who knows what that would have unlocked in someone's heart
- 7:09in someone's consciousness had they been invited?
- 7:12So when you are an artist, you have a painting
- 7:14and you want to post it on Instagram
- 7:16and you're like,
- 7:17oh, I'm just scared that no one gets it.
- 7:19I understand that I hold that with so much love
- 7:21and at the same time we want to be invited to your art.
- 7:25We want to be invited to your perspective.
- 7:27We want to be invited to your ideas
- 7:29to your way of seeing the world
- 7:30and each time that you do not make that invitation,
- 7:33our lives are less full for that lack of invitation.
- 7:37You know why? You know why?
- 7:38Because we're all better for having the invitation
- 7:41and being able to say no,
- 7:43then not having the invitation at all.
- 7:45What does it mean?
- 7:46It's better to be invited to the party
- 7:48and be able to say no,
- 7:50then for someone to decide you aren't going to come anyway
- 7:52so they may as well not invite you.
- 7:53You know what I'm saying?
- 7:54Wait, what if I was going to move around my plans?
- 7:56What if I just wanted to feel like you wanted me there
- 7:59and therefore it would have felt nice
- 8:00to be able to say no, even though I can't make it?
- 8:03So it's more honoring or dignifying of a being
- 8:07to give them the option
- 8:08and let them from their fullness of self say no.
- 8:11Let them say no.
- 8:12How beautiful to be that generous.
- 8:14You know the sun, we could decide
- 8:16I could go outside today and experience the sunshine
- 8:20but I'm not going to
- 8:21and I'm more whole,
- 8:22I'm more alive for that choice.
- 8:24Like isn't it so in liveening
- 8:26that I could be in the sunshine
- 8:28but I'm choosing not to
- 8:29that the sun invited me in a sense
- 8:32into that experience of sun and my skin
- 8:34and I'm saying no.
- 8:36Isn't that better than a sun
- 8:37that never invited me at all
- 8:39because it decided on my behalf
- 8:40that I wouldn't like the sunshine?
- 8:43So when we're invited to things
- 8:44when someone sends you an essay
- 8:46because they think you may like it
- 8:47isn't that more in liveening
- 8:49than had they decided for you
- 8:51you weren't going to read it
- 8:52and therefore didn't send it to you at all.
- 8:55And there are many reasons
- 8:56why someone might do that.
- 8:57I understand
- 8:58but when someone invites you
- 8:59to watch their favorite movie,
- 9:01ah, even though they know
- 9:03you may not watch it
- 9:04because we all have lists and lists
- 9:06either consciously or in our notes app
- 9:08of things that we want to be watching
- 9:10and there's so much to watch
- 9:11and so they may think
- 9:12they're never going to watch this
- 9:13because of all the things they could watch
- 9:14why would they watch this
- 9:15but aren't we so much more nourished
- 9:17by having been invited to watch their favorite movie
- 9:21than had they decided for us
- 9:22that we were never going to watch it at all?
- 9:25Isn't it more precious for us to say
- 9:27you know what?
- 9:28I know this is their favorite movie.
- 9:30From the way that my life is,
- 9:32I'm not going to watch it.
- 9:33I think that is a more
- 9:35a liveening choice.
- 9:36That's the word that comes to my mind.
- 9:37Like it's a more expanded choice
- 9:39than had I just been not invited at all.
- 9:42It's more expansive to say no
- 9:44than to not have the invitation.
- 9:46And on the other hand,
- 9:48we may say yes.
- 9:49We may say yes to your video.
- 9:51We may say yes to your thumbnail.
- 9:53We may say yes to your podcast episode,
- 9:55to your book,
- 9:56to your screenplay, like we may say yes
- 9:58and we will be so much more alive and nourished
- 10:02and seen by that yes,
- 10:05by that ability to say yes because my love,
- 10:07if you are committed to sharing yourself with the world
- 10:10wherever you choose,
- 10:11eventually people will say yes.
- 10:14It may not be on the timeline you're expecting
- 10:16but eventually if we give
- 10:18and we give something that we feel
- 10:20is an integrity and alignment
- 10:22with what we are here to offer,
- 10:23it will eventually meet the people who want to receive it.
- 10:27Okay, I claim that, let it be so.
- 10:30That everything that you are called to express
- 10:32let that calling be felt
- 10:34as a collective calling to receive that expression.
- 10:37Is that gonna happen instantaneously?
- 10:39Absolutely not.
- 10:40Is that going to happen in the exact way
- 10:42that we're expecting?
- 10:43Also, unfortunately, absolutely not.
- 10:45In fact, not even unfortunately
- 10:46because that path of you sharing yourself
- 10:49is actually not only the collective dreaming through you
- 10:53but it's a more loving version of yourself
- 10:55dreaming through you as well.
- 10:57What do I mean by that?
- 10:59For me and my journey of sharing myself on the internet,
- 11:02I could not have known just how much this would catalyze
- 11:06and alchemize this would fuel my spiritual journey and growth.
- 11:10Before I started this journey,
- 11:12I was very disconnected from spirituality.
- 11:14I had a very narrow understanding of spirituality
- 11:17and I rejected it.
- 11:18It's through this path of sharing myself,
- 11:20realizing that the only way,
- 11:23the only way you can sustain visibility
- 11:26is by being so nourished beneath the surface of the earth,
- 11:29really tending to the roots beneath the earth
- 11:31such that from those roots can stem a beautiful tree
- 11:35and fruits, you know, you can't start growing a tree
- 11:38from the fruits, you have to start rooted.
- 11:40And so this work has asked me to go so much deeper
- 11:43into that truth and into myself
- 11:45and also into love, into this idea of like, oh my word.
- 11:50Give love.
- 11:51Don't seek to take, try to give love,
- 11:54try to give and inject love into the collective consciousness
- 11:57because that is why you're here to speak at all, okay?
- 12:00So give love.
- 12:01Before I record a soul session,
- 12:04which is what I call a podcast or video episode of the Soul Salon,
- 12:10sometimes I will sing to myself the words that I need most
- 12:14in order to be able to have the courage to record
- 12:18and to give voice to what I'm seeking to express
- 12:20in that soul session.
- 12:22And I didn't think that I would be sharing this.
- 12:24I just thought it was part of my private vault
- 12:27of things that I create.
- 12:29But I decided that it kind of speaks to the point
- 12:31of how we only rise rooted like by tending to these roots
- 12:36within us from that we can stem these leaves
- 12:40and these fruits that we're seeking to stem
- 12:42and that this is the kind of love that I am pouring
- 12:45into myself before I'm able to pour love into you
- 12:49and into the you, that is me, you know?
- 12:52And so I am going to share this with you.
- 12:54It feels very vulnerable when I'm singing,
- 12:57but it is an expression of my aliveness
- 12:59and something that I seek in my creativity
- 13:02is to leave my aliveness with you, you know,
- 13:05to leave it on earth with people to feel.
- 13:07So here is what I sang to myself
- 13:09before I started this soul session.
- 13:12I hope that it helps you as you face your fears
- 13:14of being seen.
- 13:42And so you are here as a vessel for something.
- 13:45For you it may be love, it may be art, it may be truth,
- 13:47it may be beauty in its core essence
- 13:50in the sense of beautiful flavors, beautiful smells, sounds,
- 13:58that kind of beauty that you walk into a room
- 14:00and you're like, oh, that kind of beauty
- 14:02that you look at a sunset and you're like, oh, my word.
- 14:06Is this not the point of being alive?
- 14:07Like if you are here as a vessel for that,
- 14:11then each time you don't invite us into that
- 14:13which you're a vessel for, we are less or for it.
- 14:16Like we are less nourished, we are starved for that choice.
- 14:21Like you're not nourishing our consciousness,
- 14:23you're actually depriving it from the beauty, the joy
- 14:26that you are here to bring, the truth you're here to bring,
- 14:30the experience you are here to share, the stories you are here
- 14:33to tell, they could be deeply painful stories,
- 14:36they could be exciting stories, but it's the stories
- 14:39that the collective wants to receive through you.
- 14:43You know, I've been thinking about the fact
- 14:45that on planet Earth there are around 7,000 languages,
- 14:49currently, and if we think of colonialism
- 14:52and the effect that that has had on the death
- 14:55of many languages or the weakening of many languages,
- 14:58the decrease of them, we could think that there would have
- 15:01been much more, but if we think of the Earth
- 15:04as speaking 7,000 languages,
- 15:08and we think of this universe on these different scales,
- 15:12I think of the infinity of love,
- 15:14like love is this infinite energy,
- 15:16and for some people this is how they receive the idea of God
- 15:20as this infinite energy of love, the creator,
- 15:23the cosmos, this infinity, like infinity,
- 15:26and the divine are very closely linked.
- 15:29So what if my love the specific way
- 15:31that you speak into and speak through love,
- 15:35is its own language?
- 15:37And you are here to share and speak that language,
- 15:40and eventually others who speak the language of love
- 15:43that you speak or who want to learn how to
- 15:46are going to feel called to your language of love.
- 15:50So that there are all these different forms of communication,
- 15:53there's energetic communication,
- 15:55there's just this feeling someone gives you
- 15:57or someone awakens within you.
- 16:00And so each time you don't offer us that,
- 16:04we are in a sense silenced from what we are here
- 16:07to express in this lifetime.
- 16:09Ooh, because you are a portal, you are a portal through you,
- 16:15someone can experience more love, more friendship,
- 16:19more possibility, more beauty, more creativity,
- 16:22more wholeness, more the feeling of being acknowledged
- 16:24of being seen, more accompanied in this lifetime,
- 16:28their hand held, like you are a portal through you,
- 16:31someone gets to feel and experience something
- 16:35that you give them more of.
- 16:38Maybe they already feel that way
- 16:39and they're seeking to feel it more,
- 16:40maybe they've never even felt the sweetness
- 16:42of what you are here to give.
- 16:44The way that you listen could be the portal.
- 16:46Oh my word, haven't we each been transported by a good listener?
- 16:51Oh my gosh, I'm gonna make a video on good listeners.
- 16:53Oh my word, I mean, I consider myself one,
- 16:55but I feel like we are literally like,
- 16:57actually just wait for that video to come.
- 16:59But essentially, have we not felt literally like we're in
- 17:05a vortex, like we're not on earth,
- 17:07we're in a different dimension because of the way
- 17:09someone held space for us.
- 17:11Like where is this that I am now?
- 17:13Because I'm not where I was before this conversation.
- 17:15I feel so seen, I feel so held, I feel so acknowledged.
- 17:19And if you haven't felt that way, my love,
- 17:22and manifesting it for you, it's a delicious feeling.
- 17:25And if you are the one who offers that feeling to others,
- 17:27babes just stick around because that's gonna be
- 17:30a love letter to you, to us.
- 17:32So what is that, that person in that conversation,
- 17:35their portal, their portal into an experience,
- 17:38someone didn't even know they were seeking,
- 17:41because sometimes we don't even know
- 17:42how much we're seeking to be deeply heard.
- 17:46And we talk about loneliness in society, isolation,
- 17:49and it's so real, but part of that loneliness
- 17:52is being fueled by people who are taught to speak
- 17:56and not taught to listen, it doesn't work.
- 17:59We're never gonna feel held by such a consciousness
- 18:02that only knows how to speak and not to deeply hear.
- 18:05Oh my word, okay, okay, we're getting,
- 18:07we're not getting distracted, it's all part of it,
- 18:08but you are a portal.
- 18:10You transport us to a place of more of something
- 18:15that we want to feel.
- 18:17We may not even know consciously that we want to feel that way.
- 18:20Maybe the way that you sing,
- 18:22it creates this frequency all around our body,
- 18:26we get tingles, maybe it's mournful,
- 18:28maybe it's melancholic, and it allows us to connect more
- 18:31with the feeling of grief within each of us.
- 18:33Maybe you have this really uplifting energy
- 18:35that each time we listen to you,
- 18:36we feel more like, wow, okay, maybe the universe will be okay.
- 18:40Maybe you bring love, maybe you bring peace,
- 18:43maybe you bring perspective,
- 18:44maybe you have a way of conceiving a reality
- 18:46that's so magnetic and potent,
- 18:48and you don't even realize how potent it is,
- 18:50because again, you feel the silencing effect
- 18:53of all your conditioning and all the voices within
- 18:56and the bullying and the trauma.
- 18:57So you're a portal and we want to go
- 19:01where you are here to take us,
- 19:02and you may not even know where that is.
- 19:04That's why sometimes you just have to allow your art
- 19:06to be spoken and shared and then surrender
- 19:09to not knowing what it's going to be a portal towards.
- 19:13And also through the act of creation itself,
- 19:16you get to experience the portal of creation.
- 19:19Like I am transformed by the speaking, by the speech,
- 19:23just as much as it potentially can transform.
- 19:26So I as the creator, emerging with and stepping into
- 19:29and through this portal.
- 19:32This is a system that I'm calling creative portals
- 19:35that I don't like the idea that we think of art
- 19:38in the sense of consumption.
- 19:39What did you consume?
- 19:40Consumption implies an ending, right?
- 19:43If you consume something, it implies
- 19:45that you are, it's a very capitalist understanding.
- 19:48Like it's now, there's none left, it's disposed of,
- 19:51it's finished.
- 19:52That's not what art does.
- 19:54Babes, that's not what an idea that blows your mind does.
- 19:56That's not what a song that speaks to you
- 19:59and tells your heart string does.
- 20:00That's not what a video that changes everything
- 20:02in your universe does.
- 20:03That's not what it does.
- 20:04You don't consume it if you think about it.
- 20:07It's not finished.
- 20:08In fact, it's just getting started.
- 20:10If you are invited into a portal that feels
- 20:12heart-made for you, you don't even,
- 20:15you just feel like, whoa, I belong here.
- 20:18I didn't even know I belonged here,
- 20:19but I belong here in this room, in this space.
- 20:23That to me is this idea of art as a creative portal
- 20:26and as artists as the portals
- 20:29to a more loving, a more healed world.
- 20:32That by artist, I mean people who create things.
- 20:36I mean creators, I mean visionaries of all forms
- 20:40that that consciousness is rebellious.
- 20:43It says, I insist not only in believing
- 20:46in what is not yet here,
- 20:48but I actually insist on creating it.
- 20:50Ooh, sexy, beautiful, wonderful.
- 20:51And that's also why I believe creativity as a consciousness
- 20:54is a kind of querying, it's a queer consciousness
- 20:57of creativity walked into the room.
- 20:59It wouldn't be straight, it wouldn't be straight.
- 21:01But essentially creativity as a consciousness
- 21:04it's always insisting on otherwise.
- 21:08Oh my gosh, oh my word, okay.
- 21:11So it's always insisting on otherwise
- 21:15and you are part of that insistence.
- 21:17So each time you silence that insistence
- 21:19and don't share it, I speak to so many incredible people
- 21:23on earth and they have an idea
- 21:26and they insist on repressing that idea.
- 21:30It's a self-policing, right?
- 21:31It's the whole surveillance police and colonial status.
- 21:35Let them internalize this policing so deeply within
- 21:39that they do our work for us essentially.
- 21:41They are so repressive towards themselves
- 21:44that they are externally oppressed by these systems
- 21:47and also internally oppressed
- 21:49by the way that they've internalized these systems.
- 21:52So I speak to all these incredible creators.
- 21:54It could be they want to host an event.
- 21:56It could be they want to write poetry
- 21:57and share it with the world.
- 21:59It could be they have a book idea
- 22:00and they really want to share it,
- 22:02but they're afraid of what the book is asking them
- 22:04to tap into.
- 22:05And I feel the power of how beautiful it would be
- 22:08for people to be invited into the worlds
- 22:09that they're trying to create.
- 22:11And if as creators of those things,
- 22:14we refuse to create, we're aligning ourselves
- 22:17with the status quo consciousness.
- 22:20When as creators, and I call this creative consciousness,
- 22:23we always need to align ourselves
- 22:25with this rebellious voice within us,
- 22:28with this what if voice, this childish voice,
- 22:31this what if a voice you want to call it,
- 22:32this hopeful voice, this voice of possibility.
- 22:36And that is why within the broader system,
- 22:39a lot of people will not understand the artist,
- 22:41the creator, the maker, because they insist on what is not yet.
- 22:44And every creator you admire had a whole group
- 22:46of people around them who said,
- 22:48that's not gonna work.
- 22:49That will never work.
- 22:50That's not possible.
- 22:52And so we must insist on staying faithful
- 22:55to this creative consciousness within us.
- 22:57And it's gonna ask everything of you.
- 22:59It's gonna ask everything of you.
- 23:01If you have an idea and you are committed
- 23:03to not just thinking about the idea,
- 23:05but actually bringing it to life,
- 23:07it's gonna ask a lot of you,
- 23:08but we are all here.
- 23:09We're here with you.
- 23:10You've been asked because you have the answers.
- 23:14Ah!
- 23:17You've been called,
- 23:21because you're the perfect one to pick up.
- 23:25Okay, who's calling?
- 23:26You've been called because this is your calling.
- 23:29This is our calling of you.
- 23:31And it's hard made for you.
- 23:33Hand made for you.
- 23:34It's like your calling.
- 23:36In the sense that we're calling you
- 23:37in a very particular specific way,
- 23:39and we hope that you'll pick up.
- 23:41And just think of it as an invitation.
- 23:42So, babe, what are you going to invite us into?
- 23:45What is the art you may invite us into?
- 23:47What is the idea you're gonna invite us into?
- 23:49What is the event you're going to invite us to
- 23:50and allow us from the fullness of our being to say yes?
- 23:54And also allow us to say no,
- 23:56because even if it's a no,
- 23:58number one, it could be a not yet.
- 24:00So many times I've said,
- 24:01I don't want to watch that yet.
- 24:03Okay, I've thought it's a no.
- 24:05And then like a year or two months later,
- 24:07I'm like, you know what, I'm ready.
- 24:08Or you see something and it kind of triggers you,
- 24:10but then like a week later you're like,
- 24:12okay fine, I'm ready.
- 24:13You know what I mean?
- 24:14Sometimes just being invited is this portal
- 24:17that has already shifted people's perspective
- 24:20on what's possible.
- 24:21So sometimes we need time for the invitation
- 24:25to match the saying of the yes.
- 24:28Like you might hear of an artist
- 24:30and be like, oh yeah, check her out.
- 24:31And then a year later, you're like,
- 24:34oh, let me check out that artist my friend told me about.
- 24:36And then suddenly it's like the teacher and the student.
- 24:39It's like the perfect time to receive that message.
- 24:41So trust in your invitations
- 24:43and trust that everything you create,
- 24:45not to mix metaphors, but why not?
- 24:46Cause I love mixing.
- 24:48Everything you create is like a breadcrumb.
- 24:51And you don't know which of the crumbs
- 24:53is gonna allow your ideal being,
- 24:57your ideal soul to find your work.
- 25:01So do you think if you want your art to be found
- 25:04in the world by the people who it's meant for?
- 25:07One breadcrumb is gonna do it.
- 25:09Is two gonna do it?
- 25:11Is three good?
- 25:12No, no, no, we gotta leave some breadcrums.
- 25:16You know, you never know which piece of your work
- 25:18is going to invite someone through the portal
- 25:20of your consciousness into how it is over there.
- 25:23So that's why I believe,
- 25:26and I have a video on,
- 25:27either it's out or it's coming out on the mosaic mindset
- 25:30on having this perspective of creation
- 25:32that reduces the pressure on each work
- 25:34so that we can invite more and more people into our worlds.
- 25:39You are an invitation.
- 25:41You know, we think of manifesting, we think of creating,
- 25:43but remember that you are a manifestation.
- 25:46You are a creation.
- 25:48And so as you are, you hold all the potency of those things.
- 25:52And so whatever you feel called to invite us into trust
- 25:55that life has already chosen you.
- 25:56I've been saying that so often recently
- 25:58because I'm like, whoa, life chose you.
- 26:01You know, life chose you.
- 26:03You had such a rare chance of being here.
- 26:06Here you are watching this video.
- 26:07Life has chosen you.
- 26:10There are trillions of cells conspiring
- 26:12to keep you alive in this moment.
- 26:16It's actually so profound.
- 26:17And yet of course, when you're surrounded by life,
- 26:20it can feel less magnificently, less magical,
- 26:22but it equally is.
- 26:24We need to keep reminding ourselves and asking ourselves,
- 26:27how can I be more and all of everything in my experience,
- 26:30which includes me necessarily.
- 26:32Includes being in awe of your thoughts, your ideas.
- 26:35You know what I wrote down the other day?
- 26:36I said, and I didn't mean this like in a disrespectful way.
- 26:40It was a way of trying to unblock myself
- 26:42because I felt like I haven't been creating
- 26:44as much as I want to.
- 26:46And I wrote down, my smallest idea
- 26:49is someone's greatest breakthrough.
- 26:52And I love that because it's relative to you.
- 26:55It's an idea you've already had.
- 26:57So it feels small.
- 26:59It feels like does anyone really care about that?
- 27:00And I love smallness.
- 27:01Smallness is part of the universe.
- 27:03We need smallness.
- 27:04But then when you encounter an idea that's new,
- 27:07it feels like the biggest thing in the world.
- 27:10It feels like, oh my word, I'll never be the same.
- 27:12I'll never see the world the same
- 27:14because now I have this idea.
- 27:15And then that person incorporates it into their heart
- 27:17and consciousness and then it becomes relatively
- 27:20to other ideas, small again.
- 27:22So your smallest idea, that idea you just had on a Tuesday,
- 27:25maybe you were sitting on the toilet, you were like,
- 27:27well, if you just shared that idea with others,
- 27:31it's someone's biggest breakthrough.
- 27:32As in, their heart, their mindset, their behavior
- 27:36will feel call to, spoken to, received
- 27:39by that small moment on that Tuesday.
- 27:42Because we underestimate our magic.
- 27:44We even underestimate or overestimate
- 27:46what magic has to look like.
- 27:48Magic can be the tiniest realization
- 27:50while you were making coffee last Thursday.
- 27:52Just being like, you know what?
- 27:54What if I wouldn't it be cool if, why don't we?
- 27:58Hmm, indeed, why don't we?
- 28:00So invite us, babes.
- 28:01We want to be invited.
- 28:03And trust that people saying no to your creativity
- 28:08or to your creations doesn't make them less magnificent
- 28:11because life has already chosen you.
- 28:13That force that is stretching towards more of life
- 28:16in the tree that is bending towards the sun,
- 28:20in the flower seeking companionship
- 28:22amongst the other flowers that's being pollinated by the bees.
- 28:26This life thing that's happening,
- 28:27this breath that is happening, it's already happened to you.
- 28:31So everything you create is simply an extension
- 28:33of that magnificence, of that life force, of that aliveness.
- 28:37And that's why I believe like creativity
- 28:39is one of the most in liveening things, relationship number one.
- 28:42And relationship is creative, creativity is relationship.
- 28:46I mean, are people writing me some kidding?
- 28:50And so, and so, that relationship has chosen
- 28:56to express itself through you.
- 28:58Through you, you, you is no mistake.
- 29:02Does life, I was gonna say, does life make mistakes?
- 29:06You know, that's a story for another day.
- 29:07But there's no mistake, it's you.
- 29:10So these ideas that just come to you from who knows where?
- 29:14That's magnificent, that's poetic, that's divine.
- 29:18You get to make that.
- 29:20Some version of it, not the perfect version.
- 29:22Not the version we tell ourselves if we only did it, no,
- 29:25just a version, could be a song.
- 29:27You never shared with anyone, but you allowed yourself
- 29:29to be seen in the singing.
- 29:31Seen by the cosmos is also watching.
- 29:33The earth, God, whatever you believe in, you're being witnessed.
- 29:37And we wanna witness you.
- 29:39So invite us to witness your unfolding.
- 29:42Don't wait, don't say I'll be ready then.
- 29:44When I have this thing, no, you are ready, you are ready.
- 29:47You are readiness itself.
- 29:49You are ready.
- 29:51You, you, you, you, you are.
- 29:53In your essence, you are readiness.
- 29:56For whatever you seek, whatever you seek, whatever you seek.
- 30:00Okay, I love you so much.
- 30:02Please invite us, we wanna be invited.
- 30:04You're so magical.
- 30:05Ah, I'm in awe of you.
- 30:07You're incredible.
- 30:08Please be in awe of yourself.
- 30:09Because it's only through that awe that you're gonna believe
- 30:12in your creations enough to, first of all, make them
- 30:15and second of all, share them and invite us to come along.
- 30:18I love you so much, my darling.
- 30:19I'm sending you so much love.
- 30:21You are the universe, expanding, experiencing,
- 30:24living, breathing.
- 30:25And we get to live and breathe and see through you.
- 30:27We want to step through your creative portal,
- 30:31through your creations as a portal to someplace more sacred,
- 30:34more divine, more loving, more whole, more wonderful,
- 30:37more interesting, because you're interesting.
- 30:39You have interesting things to say.
- 30:40More healing, more receptive, more understanding.
- 30:45So please invite us.
