- 3:27[SPEAKER_02]: Guarantee.
- 3:28[SPEAKER_03]: That is awesome to hear.
- 3:29[SPEAKER_03]: Tomorrow is OTAs.
- 3:32[SPEAKER_03]: And I will be down in Santa Clara for OTAs.
- 3:35[SPEAKER_03]: And, you know, there were some news today.
- 3:39[SPEAKER_03]: And there were really two bits of news.
- 3:42[SPEAKER_03]: One, Jake Brando restructured his deal.
- 3:45[SPEAKER_03]: He created more cap space.
- 3:47[SPEAKER_03]: He converted $3.02 million of Bremel salary into bonus money, and that cleared a little bit over 2.2 million from the 49ers cap, and they now have over 72 million dollars in available cap, and I believe that's the most in the NFL.
- 4:02[SPEAKER_03]: So that's one.
- 4:05[SPEAKER_03]: announcement today and the other one was that Mac Jones got a raise today got a $300,000 roster bonus added to his bank account.
- 4:12[SPEAKER_03]: So he will now is sitting at 3.55 million for 2026 including another and in addition to that he can make 2.25 million in possible incentives.
- 4:28[SPEAKER_03]: And I think most people believe that Mack Jones is going to see greener pastures in March as a free agent and it makes all the sense in the world.
- 4:36[SPEAKER_03]: But yet Matt Meoko, who I got to say is probably as informed as any of the 49er insiders, if not more informed, has on the record saying that he thinks that there's a chance that Mack Jones sticks around.
- 4:57[SPEAKER_03]: And Matt's point was, and if just to summarize it, if I could find it here, I will look for it.
- 5:02[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, here it is.
- 5:04[SPEAKER_03]: Here it is.
- 5:05[SPEAKER_03]: Matt says, I think the 49ers did something that maybe paved the way towards a long-term solution or a long-term union with the 49ers and Matt Jones.
- 5:14[SPEAKER_03]: They've added $300,000 to his existing contract.
- 5:17[SPEAKER_03]: Something they did not have to do.
- 5:21[SPEAKER_03]: What do you think?
- 5:22[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, let's, I want to talk about this because as I just stated, John, most people think that, that, that, that John's going to walk at the end of the year.
- 5:30[SPEAKER_03]: And why wouldn't he walk, right?
- 5:31[SPEAKER_03]: And then, Malik Willis just signed to deal with Miami.
- 5:34[SPEAKER_03]: He got $45 million guaranteed.
- 5:37[SPEAKER_03]: He got an AAV of 22.5 a year.
- 5:41[SPEAKER_03]: You know, these are very comparable players.
- 5:43[SPEAKER_03]: Why would Mac Jones be satisfied with 3.55 million plus 2.2 and incentives when milk willus is got 45 million.
- 5:52[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, Mac's pretty chill about it.
- 5:54[SPEAKER_03]: But
- 5:55[SPEAKER_03]: As a nine or fan, I'd love for him to stay long-term because he's an awesome fit and I guess my question to you is, is it just as simple as the cap, it does not allow for it.
- 6:07[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, why can't you have two good starting quarterbacks?
- 6:10[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, if the quarterback is the most important player on your roster,
- 6:16[SPEAKER_03]: And if you have a good one, you've got a chance to win a championship, and if you don't have a good one, you have no chance to win a championship.
- 6:23[SPEAKER_03]: So where does that, if you have a great backup quarterback that's pretty damn good, and Mac Jones fits that category for sure.
- 6:31[SPEAKER_03]: He's definitely in that category.
- 6:33[SPEAKER_03]: Where does he rank in order of importance on your 53-man roster?
- 6:39[SPEAKER_03]: He went five and three and eight starts.
- 6:41[SPEAKER_03]: His last game, he completed 85% of his passes.
- 6:44[SPEAKER_03]: Everybody loves this guy.
- 6:46[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, this guy walks into the locker room and everybody smiles.
- 6:49[SPEAKER_03]: The players, the media.
- 6:53[SPEAKER_03]: He's like, I can't believe how unlikable he seemed coming out of Bama compared contrast that to how
- 7:04[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, this guy is like universally beloved, and he did something last year that was amazing.
- 7:11[SPEAKER_03]: He somehow didn't use syrup any of Brock's leadership, but found a way to lead the room in Brock's absence.
- 7:19[SPEAKER_03]: You know, not in any way, father, Brock's leadership in any way.
- 7:23[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, he was the most masterful.
- 7:27[SPEAKER_03]: He didn't have one bad quote over the course of the year.
- 7:31[SPEAKER_03]: It was amazing how great he was as the number two quarterback.
- 7:35[SPEAKER_03]: What do you think, John?
- 7:36[SPEAKER_03]: Is there any way that the Niners can financially swing this and keep Mac Jones?
- 7:43[SPEAKER_02]: My short answer is no, there's not, you could talk about how much Caproom they have right now for this year.
- 7:50[SPEAKER_02]: You look at next year and the following season and their cap and you know, there's a lot of inflated, you know, what you're going to do with Nick Bosa, they brought parties, you know, got to extension two years out.
- 7:59[SPEAKER_02]: They built those into the contracts.
- 8:02[SPEAKER_02]: The thing that gives me like, okay, I'm going to give a nuanced take here, Kyle Shanahan was the offensive coordinator for the Houston Texans.
- 8:10[SPEAKER_02]: The general manager was Charlie Casterly during that time.
- 8:15[SPEAKER_02]: And Charlie Casterly is very famous and you know, he's got that kind of hardcore East coast accent.
- 8:20[SPEAKER_02]: And he would always say, the most support player on your roster is the quarterback.
- 8:24[SPEAKER_02]: The second is the backup quarterback.
- 8:26[SPEAKER_02]: Like he would say that all the time.
- 8:28[SPEAKER_02]: Couch in and it was about that team.
- 8:30[SPEAKER_02]: Couch in and it was on that team.
- 8:32[SPEAKER_02]: How much that affects him?
- 8:33[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, we've heard Kyle Shanahan talk about, man, it's gonna take a first rounder to get Mac Jones out of here.
- 8:41[SPEAKER_02]: They're not going to trade him away for anything unless it's a first round or plus nobody even called and he said he was kind of shocked nobody even called The quarterbacks get paid.
- 8:49[SPEAKER_02]: You're you're talking about it.
- 8:50[SPEAKER_02]: You know Matt Mayo comes out and Matt does great work and he is in tune with the front office And he's going to put out what they want him to put out like that's okay.
- 8:58[SPEAKER_02]: There's nothing wrong with that.
- 8:59[SPEAKER_02]: We're thankful for the coverage that he brings But a $300,000 increase compared to what Malik Willis just got isn't even 3%
- 9:09[SPEAKER_02]: You know, like, to say that that is enough to keep him from going and getting a $20 million a year pay day elsewhere, this dude's making less than $3 million a year right now at the 49ers.
- 9:20[SPEAKER_02]: Now, the shit a hand reclamation project at the quarterback position.
- 9:24[SPEAKER_02]: If you're a quarterback that plays for Kyle Shan and the 49ers, you're getting paid whether you're a CJ bet there, Nick Mullins, Jimmy Garoppolo, it doesn't matter.
- 9:32[SPEAKER_02]: Trade Lance still out there again, pay just one of the highest paid.
- 9:35[SPEAKER_02]: Back up quarterbacks in the NFL still like like he's still what's crazy.
- 9:39[SPEAKER_02]: His trailer is making twice the money that Matt Jones is making this year.
- 9:43[SPEAKER_02]: Wow.
- 9:44[SPEAKER_02]: Matt Jones is getting paid elsewhere.
- 9:46[SPEAKER_02]: There's no like he is getting $20 million plus minimum next year and average per year with another 35 to 40 million guaranteed.
- 9:55[SPEAKER_02]: Like that is going to happen next year period.
- 9:58[SPEAKER_02]: Why would he stay here on a $10 million deal.
- 10:01[SPEAKER_02]: Even if he loves the team, even if the team loves him.
- 10:04[SPEAKER_02]: Now my one thing that I will say about Mac that makes me have again just a little bit of shot of maybe.
- 10:12[SPEAKER_02]: Whenever he stepped in and went five and three, he came into that opening press conference saying, I was brought here to be the backup.
- 10:19[SPEAKER_02]: This is Brock's team and he didn't still any of the mojo you were talking about or any of the leadership, he played his role to a T. That's invaluable whenever you're dealing with millionaires.
- 10:31[SPEAKER_02]: This is former first round pick.
- 10:32[SPEAKER_02]: Talk about Brock Perti, last pick in the draft.
- 10:34[SPEAKER_02]: He's older than Brock Perti, but I like three years.
- 10:38[SPEAKER_02]: why would he stay here besides just Kyle Shanahan and his love for the team and teammates when you can go out there and make literally 25 billion dollars a year.
- 10:50[SPEAKER_02]: I just don't see that coming with the 49ers it would be awesome to have that depth at the quarterback position.
- 10:56[SPEAKER_02]: I just I would put that less than 2%.
- 11:00[SPEAKER_03]: Here's my next question.
- 11:02[SPEAKER_03]: Where's Mac Jones going to start?
- 11:05[SPEAKER_03]: Because he's not going to, if he's going to back up, then he might as well stay.
- 11:11[SPEAKER_03]: So we're assuming he's leaving because the assumption is you'll start.
- 11:17[SPEAKER_03]: But he's not starting now and nobody seems to be dying to get him as a starter.
- 11:26[SPEAKER_03]: Where would he start?
- 11:27[SPEAKER_03]: Where exactly would he start?
- 11:30[SPEAKER_02]: Well, you have to, okay, so what's the recipe for a team that wants Mac Jones?
- 11:34[SPEAKER_02]: You have three teams actively tanking for draft capital and their quarterbacks match that.
- 11:41[SPEAKER_02]: You look at the Miami Dolphins, Arizona Cardinals and the Jets.
- 11:44[SPEAKER_02]: They are purposefully not bringing in top to your quarterbacks because they want to lose.
- 11:50[SPEAKER_02]: And like that is you call it whatever you want.
- 11:52[SPEAKER_02]: They want to be competitive whatever.
- 11:55[SPEAKER_02]: I don't care But then you look at teams like okay the Steelers.
- 11:58[SPEAKER_02]: Yep one more year with Aaron Rogers, but he's already said it's his last year Aaron Rogers wasn't really even that good last year like whatever
- 12:06[SPEAKER_02]: And there's going to be several other teams.
- 12:08[SPEAKER_02]: You know what's going to happen with the Atlanta, what's going to have like there are just teams out there.
- 12:13[SPEAKER_02]: The NFL is a quarterback needy team, needy league here and then you're out.
- 12:17[SPEAKER_02]: And I understand, you know, it's supposed to be a very heavy quarterback draft whatever, but you just saw.
- 12:25[SPEAKER_02]: The Las Vegas Raider spent the number one overall pick on Fernando Mendoza.
- 12:29[SPEAKER_02]: Consensus, everybody who is going to happen and paid cut cousins to come in.
- 12:34[SPEAKER_02]: So you already have Mac Jones, who is this guy that's like dude, he ain't going to steal anybody's thunder.
- 12:39[SPEAKER_02]: He understands his job.
- 12:40[SPEAKER_02]: So if you're going to draft Archmany and or more from Oregon, and I mean, you can go Julie and say in Lenora Sellers, all these quarterbacks that are coming out in the first round next year, why not peril with the Mac Jones and guarantee
- 12:53[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, this is the way it should be done.
- 12:56[SPEAKER_02]: So I just think that there's going to be such a bidding room for a veteran that knows his role that can help coach up these young first round picks.
- 13:06[SPEAKER_02]: There's going to be a lot of demand for that next year.
- 13:10[SPEAKER_03]: It's really interesting because it's like, you know, you're starting quarterback means so much, but then if you have a backup that you can win with,
- 13:17[SPEAKER_03]: Um, then that guy means an awful lot.
- 13:19[SPEAKER_03]: Um, you know, this current deal with Jones is a great deal for the Niners, as you said.
- 13:24[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, Jones is dramatically underpaid at three and a half million dollars a year, um, he played amazing football.
- 13:31[SPEAKER_03]: Let's talk about the the nine or quarter back position because, you know,
- 13:36[SPEAKER_03]: We all have our initial thoughts, but then they all hit the field and start playing.
- 13:39[SPEAKER_03]: And the old saying, you never stay the same, you either get better or you get worse.
- 13:44[SPEAKER_03]: So what are you in vision, John?
- 13:46[SPEAKER_03]: How is this quarterback position going to play out?
- 13:47[SPEAKER_03]: Is Brock Perti going to continue to ascend and improve and get better and then just be on an MVP trajectory and lead the Niners to their six-lambardi.
- 13:59[SPEAKER_03]: Or do you see scenarios where Brock Party wants against hurt and miss his games and then it's Mac Jones time and he gets thrust in there and then what about the Curtis work factor?
- 14:11[SPEAKER_03]: You know, if Curtis work plays well, what does that mean for the whole thing?
- 14:14[SPEAKER_03]: Does that mean that you trade Mac Jones or does that mean?
- 14:19[SPEAKER_03]: And I guess the other question I would have for you is if Curtis work plays pretty well this preseason?
- 14:26[SPEAKER_03]: He doesn't have the failure in New England that Mac Jones had on him, which probably causes some NFL people to pause.
- 14:35[SPEAKER_03]: He will have gone from Indiana to a red shirt year to looking really good in the preseason.
- 14:40[SPEAKER_03]: If Curtis Rock looks really good in the preseason,
- 14:43[SPEAKER_03]: is there a big trade market for him?
- 14:46[SPEAKER_03]: And then I've looked at the Niners pairing down the fit to 53.
- 14:51[SPEAKER_03]: That exercise, go do that exercise two or three times.
- 14:55[SPEAKER_03]: And you'll realize that it's going to be a long shot for any quarterback to make this roster beyond Mac Jones in Brock Perti.
- 15:03[SPEAKER_03]: whether it be rock or either be Adrian Martinez, whether it be somebody else, it's going to be hard to keep three quarterbacks on a team that has this many offensive linemen, on a team that has this many corners, on a team that has this many receivers, this many D linemen.
- 15:19[SPEAKER_03]: It's going to be very, very difficult to keep Curtis work.
- 15:22[SPEAKER_03]: at the, at the cut down.
- 15:23[SPEAKER_03]: So, and then there's Martinez, and I'm a Martinez head.
- 15:26[SPEAKER_03]: I believe in Martinez.
- 15:27[SPEAKER_03]: He's athletic.
- 15:28[SPEAKER_03]: He played well in the UFL.
- 15:29[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, he, we have yet to see him play.
- 15:32[SPEAKER_03]: And I think he's going to play well.
- 15:34[SPEAKER_03]: So, what do you envision this summer?
- 15:38[SPEAKER_03]: What do you envision this season from the four quarterbacks?
- 15:41[SPEAKER_03]: How's this thing going to play out?
- 15:46[SPEAKER_02]: what do you think?
- 15:48[SPEAKER_02]: I'm comfortable saying Larry that the 49ers have the best quarterback room in the NFL.
- 15:53[SPEAKER_02]: Now it's debatable, but I think they're in the conversation.
- 15:56[SPEAKER_02]: Now that doesn't mean, I'm saying Brock pretty is the best quarterback in the NFL.
- 16:00[SPEAKER_02]: That's not what I'm saying at all.
- 16:02[SPEAKER_02]: I think that he is an effective room, right?
- 16:04[SPEAKER_02]: The collective room.
- 16:05[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 16:05[SPEAKER_02]: You could say those four quarterbacks for is anybody else's three or four quarterbacks.
- 16:11[SPEAKER_02]: There's a lot of depth there.
- 16:14[SPEAKER_02]: And I think the Niners kind of, this is an envyous position to be in, because when you drafted Curtis work last year, it was a gray shirt year, not even a true red shirt year, his year didn't accrue.
- 16:28[SPEAKER_02]: So like, you still have the entire rookie contract four years of controlled contracts status with Curtis work.
- 16:35[SPEAKER_02]: He's got to become a third year restricted free agent, which we've seen with Matt Brida.
- 16:40[SPEAKER_02]: We've seen with Kendrick Boren.
- 16:41[SPEAKER_02]: We've seen with Joanne Jen.
- 16:44[SPEAKER_02]: So you had Mac Jones, you signed them to a two year deal which huge, wonderful, like huge get.
- 16:50[SPEAKER_02]: Then you draft Curtis work to just sit and learn for a year, recover from the ACL.
- 16:55[SPEAKER_02]: Now you have your three.
- 16:57[SPEAKER_02]: And I think Kyle Shanahan is perfectly fine saying, look.
- 17:01[SPEAKER_02]: We're going to keep these three quarterbacks.
- 17:03[SPEAKER_02]: We're keeping them.
- 17:04[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I understand we're going to cut a rough roster.
- 17:06[SPEAKER_02]: And yeah, that's going to suck.
- 17:08[SPEAKER_02]: And fans are going to be pissed.
- 17:09[SPEAKER_02]: But the natural evolution of Mac Jones stay with the team this year, going to hit and big and free agency, getting that huge comic.
- 17:17[SPEAKER_02]: And then allowing Curtis work to move into the number two spot.
- 17:20[SPEAKER_02]: That's the organic process that the 49ers front office, Kyle Shanahan, whatever you want to say.
- 17:26[SPEAKER_02]: They've designed it to move this way.
- 17:29[SPEAKER_02]: the question is the practice of it will that come to fruition.
- 17:35[SPEAKER_02]: How many snaps this Curtis were going to get?
- 17:38[SPEAKER_02]: Like you've been to trade and kept so many times.
- 17:41[SPEAKER_02]: The third product does not get reps.
- 17:44[SPEAKER_02]: They just don't.
- 17:45[SPEAKER_02]: but he's been in the room, he's been through film, he's been able to watch, he's been able to learn.
- 17:50[SPEAKER_02]: So how much I don't think that you're gonna be able to sneak him through the waiver system.
- 17:54[SPEAKER_02]: So if you cut Curtis Rourke at your 53 man cut down, I do think somebody would claim him.
- 17:59[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think that he has much of a trade market, maybe if he goes out there and shines out.
- 18:04[SPEAKER_02]: He's athletic profiles, not the best, but I just don't see that as a big,
- 18:11[SPEAKER_02]: possibility.
- 18:13[SPEAKER_02]: I think the main possibility would be you try to slide them through waivers, he gets claimed, or you keep all three.
- 18:19[SPEAKER_02]: And the reason why I say keep all three, that I'll struggle your game throws a wrench or perhaps life raft,
- 18:27[SPEAKER_02]: into the 53-man roster, because you're not going to fly guys that are on the cusp of almost being healthy to Australia and back.
- 18:34[SPEAKER_02]: You don't do that.
- 18:35[SPEAKER_02]: That plane ride messes with your body, 17 hours there, 17 hours back, that messes with you.
- 18:41[SPEAKER_02]: So if you've got somebody like George Kittle, Mikhail Williams, who's not quite ready to be, week one, you keep him on the pub.
- 18:49[SPEAKER_02]: That's an extra roster spot that you don't have to worry about.
- 18:52[SPEAKER_02]: You can slide Curtis work through.
- 18:54[SPEAKER_02]: Then whenever they come back, maybe you wave Curtis work, we three instead of the initial 53.
- 19:00[SPEAKER_02]: Well, now teams are a little bit more set in their 53 ways.
- 19:04[SPEAKER_02]: It's an extra sneaky roster, Shanna-Hin, he does these things.
- 19:09[SPEAKER_02]: So I think initially they keep all three quarter packs.
- 19:12[SPEAKER_02]: I think it's gonna be tough, and I think there's gonna be a tough decision made.
- 19:14[SPEAKER_02]: And I wanna be pissed that whoever they do let go because this roster this year,
- 19:19[SPEAKER_02]: there's a lot of competition couldn't say this last year.
- 19:22[SPEAKER_02]: You're going to be letting go of somebody pretty damn good, but Shenahan values the quarterback position more than anybody else in the NFL.
- 19:28[SPEAKER_02]: He started this three quarter movement where you keep all three of them on the 53.
- 19:32[SPEAKER_02]: So I think that continues.
- 19:34[SPEAKER_03]: You know, it's really interesting because I kind of look at it differently.
- 19:38[SPEAKER_03]: I see, you know, don't lose focus on the prize, which is the prize is win in the Super Bowl.
- 19:45[SPEAKER_03]: If you feel like Brock Perti is your guy, and you have Mac Jones right now, um, if Curtis work plays well and there's a market forum, trade him, trade him.
- 19:58[SPEAKER_03]: Use your quarterback depth to build your roster.
- 20:03[SPEAKER_03]: You've missed 12 picks in the first three rounds of four drafts.
- 20:08[SPEAKER_03]: You're a little behind.
- 20:09[SPEAKER_03]: You could, you know, Curtis Works never going to play.
- 20:14[SPEAKER_03]: If he plays well and somebody's willing to give you a fifth round pick, take the fifth round pick.
- 20:18[SPEAKER_03]: Do you know, if you get a fifth, you'd take that.
- 20:21[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, sort of trying to squeeze him through waivers.
- 20:23[SPEAKER_03]: And if the guy looks, you know, really, really good, I don't fall in love.
- 20:31[SPEAKER_03]: You know, understand that he looks really good because of the development path and because of the system, the players around him and have confidence that, you know, that's my only concern is that he's going to play well and then I was going to fall in love and then be I go, you know, we, we got to keep three quarterbacks.
- 20:47[SPEAKER_03]: You don't got to keep three quarterbacks.
- 20:49[SPEAKER_03]: What is seven to it for you.
- 20:51[SPEAKER_02]: What if somebody, what, what if seven was all that was offered?
- 20:54[SPEAKER_02]: Is that enough to move off of Carter's work for you?
- 20:57[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I mean, what's pending on how he looks, of course, but you know, I want to see how he looks, but let's just say he looks pretty good, but nothing spectacular.
- 21:05[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, any any draft capital, I think I'd be willing to move off of him because I feel like I can find another guy or another veteran and and to me, it's like.
- 21:17[SPEAKER_03]: Do you have a quarterback?
- 21:18[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, do you have a backup quarterback?
- 21:19[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, okay.
- 21:20[SPEAKER_03]: Then let's get to the next position on the, you have, you know, you have Jake Tanches, and that's all at tight end as far as receivers.
- 21:29[SPEAKER_03]: Farrell, no, Jenkins, no, they're not really receivers.
- 21:34[SPEAKER_03]: You have one receiver at tight end.
- 21:37[SPEAKER_03]: So, yeah, if you can get a player at tight end, you know, that would do that.
- 21:43[SPEAKER_03]: You know, the foreigners have a lot of receivers.
- 21:46[SPEAKER_03]: But you know what, I think you consolidate some of those receivers and you know, try to, you know, I'd be looking for a two-for-one kind of a deal.
- 21:56[SPEAKER_03]: You know, I'll give you two pretty good receivers.
- 21:58[SPEAKER_03]: You give me one, you know, very good receiver.
- 22:03[SPEAKER_03]: I think I'd be looking to consolidate because I think every raster spots vitally important.
- 22:07[SPEAKER_03]: for the 49ers, especially on a really, especially in a year where you sign five, you brought in five new offensive linemen.
- 22:14[SPEAKER_03]: How are they gonna make the team?
- 22:15[SPEAKER_03]: You only typically go with four backup offensive linemen.
- 22:18[SPEAKER_03]: None of those guys are slated to start necessarily.
- 22:21[SPEAKER_03]: How are you gonna squeeze five new offensive linemen onto your 53?
- 22:26[SPEAKER_03]: You're not.
- 22:27[SPEAKER_03]: So that means somebody that you drafted is probably gonna get cut or somebody that you signed is probably gonna get cut.
- 22:33[SPEAKER_03]: And look at, you got four lines of defensive linemen.
- 22:36[SPEAKER_03]: 15, 16, 17 NFL caliber defense of lime and going to camp this summer.
- 22:41[SPEAKER_03]: You can't keep that many guys.
- 22:43[SPEAKER_03]: So, I don't know, to me, when I look out deep, they are on the O line and D line, I think they're going to have to go short at quarterback.
- 22:50[SPEAKER_03]: I think they're going to have to go short at tight end.
- 22:52[SPEAKER_03]: I think they're going to have to go short at running back.
- 22:54[SPEAKER_03]: I think they may have to go short at receiver.
- 22:56[SPEAKER_03]: I'm looking at a roster.
- 22:57[SPEAKER_03]: I did that roster cut down exercise to preserve the depth on both lines that you added in the off season.
- 23:09[SPEAKER_03]: You're going to have to go with two quarterbacks, four runningbacks, two tight ends, five wide receivers,
- 23:14[SPEAKER_03]: You're not going to be able to have seven wide receivers.
- 23:17[SPEAKER_03]: You're not going to be able to go with four tight ends.
- 23:19[SPEAKER_03]: You're not going to be able to have five or six running backs for three quarterbacks.
- 23:23[SPEAKER_03]: Not if you're going to preserve the Carver Willis's, the Enrique Cruises.
- 23:27[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, I don't think Enrique Cruises would get through as an tackle who has that kind of athleticism.
- 23:33[SPEAKER_03]: Everybody else is keenly aware of his athleticism.
- 23:36[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think he can take skate claimed on ways.
- 23:39[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I mean, and, and, but I mean, especially guys who, who, you know, had the best measurables of anybody, you know, he had a great jumping measurables, great running measurables.
- 23:50[SPEAKER_03]: Those guys are going to, I mean, if you show us anything at all.
- 23:53[SPEAKER_03]: in the preseason.
- 23:54[SPEAKER_03]: There'll be no chance in hell of him squeezing through wave or so.
- 23:58[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know.
- 23:58[SPEAKER_03]: I would rather, do you have a quarterback?
- 24:00[SPEAKER_03]: Yes.
- 24:01[SPEAKER_03]: Do you have a backup?
- 24:02[SPEAKER_03]: Yes.
- 24:02[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 24:03[SPEAKER_03]: At that point, I'm willing to, I'd be aggressive about far with the Niners.
- 24:07[SPEAKER_03]: Like if we go to camp this summer and Curtis Rourke looks pretty good and Mac Jones looks pretty good and Adrian Martinez looks pretty good.
- 24:16[SPEAKER_03]: If I can get anything for, you know, I can get some, some teams to give me assets, I might just go with whatever quarterback.
- 24:25[SPEAKER_03]: I'm going with Perti, you know, he's my number one quarterback.
- 24:29[SPEAKER_03]: If I like Adrian Martinez, I might consider trading both those guys.
- 24:33[SPEAKER_03]: Especially if I could get something decent.
- 24:35[SPEAKER_03]: And you might get something.
- 24:36[SPEAKER_03]: If somebody goes down, you know, if, if Aaron Rogers gets hurt, I think the Steelers are going to have to give you something pretty good.
- 24:45[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 24:45[SPEAKER_03]: They may have to give you, uh, Nick Hurbig or something.
- 24:48[SPEAKER_03]: They may have to give you something legit.
- 24:50[SPEAKER_02]: That was the one thing about the Mayoco claim more than anything was, and this is the 49ers hyping up their boy Mac Jones.
- 24:58[SPEAKER_02]: And if there is an entry in season to a major quarterback, which nobody wants to happen, but it does happen in the NFL.
- 25:04[SPEAKER_02]: This increases, you know, his value, because seems to be like, man, they really don't want to trade nachos.
- 25:09[SPEAKER_02]: They're sorry.
- 25:09[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe keep it in the long term.
- 25:11[SPEAKER_02]: We're going to have to pay a lot.
- 25:12[SPEAKER_02]: Like, that's the way she had a hand's chess matrix works.
- 25:16[SPEAKER_02]: Now, my question to you, Larry, is, okay, you trade away Curtis work.
- 25:20[SPEAKER_02]: Somebody likes him.
- 25:21[SPEAKER_02]: You get a fifth, as you say.
- 25:22[SPEAKER_02]: Awesome.
- 25:23[SPEAKER_02]: Let's play that out.
- 25:24[SPEAKER_02]: What do you do next year when Matt Jones leaves?
- 25:28[SPEAKER_03]: Well, I mean, you have Brock Perti, he's in his prime, I mean, I would go look, first of all, I think quarterbacks are going to be seeking you out as much as you're seeking them out because of Kyle Shanahan in the system.
- 25:44[SPEAKER_03]: I think this is the advantage of the Niners half and, you know, some team, the disadvantage might be the, you know, the electrical substation, but the advantage,
- 25:54[SPEAKER_03]: might be that they have basically their pick of quarterbacks every year that want to play for them.
- 26:00[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, I look at this way, John.
- 26:02[SPEAKER_03]: Sam Donald just won the Super Bowl.
- 26:06[SPEAKER_03]: Why is Sam Donald the best quarterback in football?
- 26:09[SPEAKER_03]: No, but is he on the best team?
- 26:10[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, a couple years ago, Jalen heard speed Patrick Mahomes in the Super Bowl.
- 26:14[SPEAKER_03]: Why?
- 26:15[SPEAKER_03]: Because Hertz's team was better than Mahomes's team.
- 26:19[SPEAKER_03]: So yes, do I want to quarterback?
- 26:20[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, but after I have a quarterback, I want a good team, because that's who wins the Super Bowl, the best teams.
- 26:26[SPEAKER_03]: And if I can use Mac Jones or Curtis work to make a deal,
- 26:32[SPEAKER_03]: I want to I want to do that.
- 26:33[SPEAKER_03]: I want to make a deal.
- 26:35[SPEAKER_03]: And I and I want to add if I can add a piece that I think is going to get me over the top.
- 26:40[SPEAKER_03]: I want to do that and I'll I worry about I mean I wouldn't do it if if I you know I wouldn't leave myself with just one quarterback after having all these quarterbacks.
- 26:50[SPEAKER_03]: But like if if I mean there's degrees of this what if Curtis work comes in the summer and looks great.
- 26:58[SPEAKER_03]: What if he looks great?
- 26:58[SPEAKER_03]: What if he completes 70% of his passes and three touchdowns and no picks and moves the team and looks really good.
- 27:05[SPEAKER_03]: This is a league where people are dying for quarterbacks.
- 27:09[SPEAKER_03]: You might get a pretty decent offer for him.
- 27:11[SPEAKER_03]: Somebody could offer you a day three pick and it could be a fourth or fifth round pick.
- 27:16[SPEAKER_03]: You know, so I'm just saying, I want the best, I need the best team.
- 27:22[SPEAKER_03]: And if I'm going to beat Sam Darnold, it's not just about beating Sam Darnold.
- 27:27[SPEAKER_03]: You got the best team.
- 27:28[SPEAKER_03]: And the 49ers, I think, if they could add another key piece by trading one of their quarterbacks, I think this might be their advantage.
- 27:36[SPEAKER_03]: I think this might be the thing that they can do that other teams can't do, because they can definitely attract the, you know, the reclamation project quarterback.
- 27:47[SPEAKER_03]: I think after Donald and Mac Jones, I think every Reclamation Project Quarterback should be sprinting towards Santa Clara.
- 27:56[SPEAKER_03]: Let's talk about the Bremble part of it for a second.
- 27:58[SPEAKER_03]: What should read on the Bremble thing?
- 28:00[SPEAKER_03]: Now, some people think
- 28:03[SPEAKER_03]: that there was no additional years, this was not a restructure that extent, this was an extension, this was a restructure and they converted some base, from base salary into bonus, give him a little bit more guaranteed money up front, cleared a little bit more of Caproom.
- 28:24[SPEAKER_03]: Niners now, it's over $72 million in available Caproom.
- 28:29[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know what to think of this.
- 28:30[SPEAKER_03]: Some people are like, you know, you know, brindles in his last year with the Niners, but if you wanted to extend him, throwing him a few more and you had the cap room to throw him some money now, couldn't you save money on your extension?
- 28:47[SPEAKER_03]: That's coming at the end of the year by throwing him more money now.
- 28:50[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, I don't necessarily look at this as a fate of complete that brindles in his final year with the Niners.
- 28:57[SPEAKER_03]: If I ran the show, he'd be in this final year with the Niners.
- 29:00[SPEAKER_03]: If the fans ran the show, he'd be in his final year with the Niners, but they seem to really have this affinity for Bremel that goes pretty deep.
- 29:08[SPEAKER_03]: We just saw Perti and Bremel at the Giants game together.
- 29:12[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, Jake Bremel's 33, not everybody's, you know, Trent Williams, they can play until they're 40.
- 29:20[SPEAKER_02]: his play has not gone up.
- 29:22[SPEAKER_02]: That's for sure.
- 29:23[SPEAKER_02]: I can it can it go down.
- 29:25[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
- 29:26[SPEAKER_02]: That's something a lot of fans would say probably not.
- 29:29[SPEAKER_02]: But he went into this year with no guaranteed money in the last year of his deal.
- 29:33[SPEAKER_02]: I was petrified that they were going to extend him and add more years to this contract.
- 29:37[SPEAKER_02]: It's rumored that.
- 29:39[SPEAKER_02]: they didn't do it.
- 29:40[SPEAKER_02]: They didn't do it.
- 29:41[SPEAKER_02]: They gave them the increase this year, and they didn't add anything on it.
- 29:45[SPEAKER_02]: I think that that is amazing news.
- 29:47[SPEAKER_02]: Now, the thing about Jake Prendo is he is a bargain bin value contract at center.
- 29:54[SPEAKER_02]: Like there's no, like he's one of the lowest paid centers in the NFL, which is why you can put up with the, you know, stopping blocking so many times the game after two counts and, you know, just being very deficient in the
- 30:06[SPEAKER_02]: Great in the locker room, Brock Perti's bestie, going to the Giants game, awesome personality, consistent with the line called Goodham Pass Pro.
- 30:14[SPEAKER_02]: That's the best part of his tape.
- 30:16[SPEAKER_02]: But if you want to know why the $40 had to set the worst run game since Kyle Shattahins been here last year, it starts with number 64.
- 30:23[SPEAKER_02]: And so the fact that you drafted Carver Willis and you had the general manager say, we think you could play center.
- 30:30[SPEAKER_02]: And then here we are a
- 30:36[SPEAKER_02]: The tea leaves are there, like you do not have to look at this and say, like, man, the writing is on the wall you prayed, paid Brett Toth, and Chris Forster, the 49er's offensive line coach, he always plays interior offensive linemen at the guard spot first.
- 30:50[SPEAKER_02]: That is where you learn.
- 30:52[SPEAKER_02]: then they transition to the center in the second year or halfway through the year once they understand all of the routes, all of the blocks, all of the reads, all that stuff.
- 31:00[SPEAKER_02]: So Carver Willis is never played center.
- 31:02[SPEAKER_02]: He's never even played guard.
- 31:04[SPEAKER_02]: He's my tackle is entire career.
- 31:06[SPEAKER_02]: Now he's been taken snaps.
- 31:08[SPEAKER_02]: And he took snaps at the senior bull, which is the 49ers were at.
- 31:11[SPEAKER_02]: So that is where they see him long-term in athletic profile profiles best as a center.
- 31:17[SPEAKER_02]: like that is what he is built as and he is a great run blocker if you want to love Carver Willis you turn on his run blocking snaps and it's just like oh my gosh this is amazing this is a $40 old line then you watch the past pro it's like oh He's got to learn He can't anchor his kick slides weird his hell, but he's not playing tackle anymore So it's gonna be a little bit more natural form inside even though he has to don't yet
- 31:43[SPEAKER_02]: But this was the best news of the day for me personally.
- 31:46[SPEAKER_02]: One because I love it when players get paid, always celebrate other people's success.
- 31:50[SPEAKER_02]: Trust me, you will live a much happier life once you do.
- 31:52[SPEAKER_02]: Even Jake Brando, who I think is not a very good football player and should have had competition.
- 31:58[SPEAKER_02]: But I love that he got paid.
- 31:59[SPEAKER_02]: He got extra money and I also love that they didn't add on a year.
- 32:03[SPEAKER_02]: Now, let's just say Carver Willis ain't it, and Brett Toth ain't it, you can still extend Jake Brindle next year.
- 32:10[SPEAKER_02]: And just say, hey, we're going to do one more year for $4 million a year.
- 32:14[SPEAKER_02]: Congratulations.
- 32:15[SPEAKER_02]: Awesome.
- 32:15[SPEAKER_03]: There's no reason to do it ahead of time.
- 32:17[SPEAKER_02]: There's no reason to add on a year, especially when you have this succession plan already in place.
- 32:22[SPEAKER_02]: And you talked about how hard it is to keep all those offensive linemen well.
- 32:26[SPEAKER_02]: Now you just got to do it one year.
- 32:27[SPEAKER_02]: You bite the bullet one year and you're playing Carver Willis at guard.
- 32:32[SPEAKER_02]: next year you kick them to center.
- 32:34[SPEAKER_02]: Man, that is just a dream scenario.
- 32:36[SPEAKER_02]: Now it's got to play out, but at least there's a blueprint.
- 32:39[SPEAKER_02]: The 49ers haven't drafted a center before Carver Willis for 13 consecutive dress.
- 32:45[SPEAKER_02]: 13.
- 32:46[SPEAKER_02]: This is the first offensive tack on Enrique Cruz that they've drafted in five consecutive dress.
- 32:52[SPEAKER_02]: Fans always get so upset myself included.
- 32:55[SPEAKER_02]: Why will the 49ers not invest in the offensive line through the draft they just do not do it this year They did now the number of games gonna be rough because you also did sign You know, very low Brett talk like you brought in guys as well and free agency But hey, there is depth across the board there is competitions to be had and to be one You can hope it's gonna be Carver Willis
- 33:18[SPEAKER_02]: We'll see how it pans out.
- 33:19[SPEAKER_02]: But I think, and dare I say, I hope this is Jake Bindle's last year as a starting center for the 49ers.
- 33:25[SPEAKER_02]: I'd be very happy.
- 33:28[SPEAKER_03]: Niners have 72 million in caproom.
- 33:30[SPEAKER_03]: And yet, and they have a bunch of guys who are in the Twilight.
- 33:35[SPEAKER_03]: Trent Williams, Fred Warner, Drake Greenlaw, Nick Bose, George Kittle, Christian McAfrey, Kyle Hughes check, Mike Evans, they're all in what I would call the Twilight of their prime.
- 33:47[SPEAKER_03]: And now the Niners have the most caproom in football.
- 33:51[SPEAKER_03]: And yet, I think the plan is really just, I don't know, I know there's some immediate speculation miles, Garrett, Joey Bosa.
- 33:59[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know if a big signing like that's coming.
- 34:02[SPEAKER_03]: It, you know, they got a number of big name, or, you know, high salary guys who's contracts are going up.
- 34:08[SPEAKER_03]: Their cap situation is not that favorable in the next two years.
- 34:13[SPEAKER_03]: I think they would like to maintain some flexibility
- 34:17[SPEAKER_03]: to try to make a move that they want to move or at the trade deadline to make a move that they want to move.
- 34:22[SPEAKER_03]: And maybe, you know, there's some cap ramifications there, so they want flexibility.
- 34:28[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know.
- 34:28[SPEAKER_03]: What do you think?
- 34:29[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, you know, June, these maneuverings they added $72 million to their cap ledger have happened right before we get to June 1st, is something going to happen
- 34:43[SPEAKER_03]: Where the Niners spend some of that money is it I you're they're going to be paying I you're going to go away are they you know going to make a big deal for a defense event a safety.
- 34:57[SPEAKER_03]: What do you think what's your what do you envision what you're in first rolling in what do you envision with the with the 72 million dollar and cat a million dollars in cap room.
- 35:06[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not seeing much on June 1st.
- 35:08[SPEAKER_02]: I really not.
- 35:10[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe one cut, but you're allowed to do a post June 1st cut, Designee early.
- 35:15[SPEAKER_02]: Niners didn't do that either.
- 35:16[SPEAKER_02]: So I really don't see a lot of movement salary cap-wise early on.
- 35:21[SPEAKER_02]: I think the 49ers have so much youth across the board.
- 35:24[SPEAKER_02]: They want to see what they have.
- 35:26[SPEAKER_02]: In the 49ers that they add, it's going to be
- 35:30[SPEAKER_02]: on the back half of training camp on the back half of preseason.
- 35:33[SPEAKER_02]: I think that's where it's going to be because a lot of these big ticket free agents that are still out there, Joey Bosa, Kim Jordan and Zach Err, it's filling the blank, whoever they're not, they're waiting till training camps over.
- 35:44[SPEAKER_02]: Like these guys are like, I'm, I'm good.
- 35:47[SPEAKER_02]: We go to the straight camp anyway.
- 35:49[SPEAKER_02]: I've hold it out till it's done.
- 35:50[SPEAKER_02]: I don't out of play football.
- 35:51[SPEAKER_02]: I'll step in later.
- 35:52[SPEAKER_02]: So I think
- 35:54[SPEAKER_02]: If a addition is made, it's going to be further down the road because the Niners want to check what they have in house first.
- 35:59[SPEAKER_02]: They want to see what ingredients they already have at home.
- 36:02[SPEAKER_02]: Now.
- 36:06[SPEAKER_02]: The salary cap is great now 72 million most in the NFL.
- 36:11[SPEAKER_02]: Congratulations.
- 36:13[SPEAKER_02]: You're the only team in 2028 that's negative already.
- 36:16[SPEAKER_02]: The 40 and ours are negative 17 million in 2028.
- 36:19[SPEAKER_02]: The only team, 31 teams above the cap, the 49ers, the only ones below it.
- 36:26[SPEAKER_02]: Next year, there are 16s below, like negative against the cap, meaning you've got to do some things.
- 36:33[SPEAKER_02]: The 40 and ours is 35 million.
- 36:35[SPEAKER_02]: over the cap already next year.
- 36:37[SPEAKER_02]: That's 72 rolls forward.
- 36:39[SPEAKER_02]: That's half of it.
- 36:40[SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, it looks like 72 million now.
- 36:43[SPEAKER_02]: You got to cut that half.
- 36:45[SPEAKER_02]: 37 million still a lot to play with, but
- 36:48[SPEAKER_02]: I just, I really do see this as a wait and see approach.
- 36:52[SPEAKER_02]: And if we need to go, if the 49ers need to get super aggressive in the trade deadline, because they have a contender, then you can do that.
- 37:00[SPEAKER_02]: But I think most of this is set aside for the future.
- 37:02[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, $35 million in the whole next season.
- 37:07[SPEAKER_02]: you roll all 72 forward.
- 37:09[SPEAKER_02]: That takes care of that and gives you enough to operate next off season.
- 37:13[SPEAKER_02]: I don't I don't see them as big spinners moving forward.
- 37:15[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe some small deals, but again, back half of training camp if they do that.
- 37:20[SPEAKER_03]: I just think that they want to give themselves ultimate flexibility for the middle of the year.
- 37:24[SPEAKER_03]: Yes.
- 37:24[SPEAKER_03]: Um, you know, that what is John Lynch done?
- 37:28[SPEAKER_03]: You know, not great.
- 37:29[SPEAKER_03]: Well, I guess you could say day one and day two picks, right?
- 37:33[SPEAKER_03]: But
- 37:37[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, doesn't whether you're talking about Trent Williams, I mean, that wasn't a trade deadline deal, but Christian McCaffrey, or even the smaller deals that they've made to keep themselves afloat or add a piece here or there.
- 37:49[SPEAKER_03]: I think, you know, the Niners are good at identifying players that they wanna add.
- 37:54[SPEAKER_03]: Lynch has been able to make those deals happen and and maybe they want that flexibility at the trade deadline because you just don't know and football.
- 38:03[SPEAKER_03]: I mean that's the one thing you just don't know.
- 38:04[SPEAKER_03]: It's like you're you're starting this Tim Barking this long season.
- 38:08[SPEAKER_03]: But you have no idea where you know you try to build the deepest 90 men roster and the deepest 53 men roster.
- 38:14[SPEAKER_03]: But you really don't know where where the thing is going to spring a lake.
- 38:18[SPEAKER_03]: Right.
- 38:18[SPEAKER_03]: You kind of, you know, football, there's 100% injury.
- 38:21[SPEAKER_03]: So guys, you're going to get hurt.
- 38:22[SPEAKER_03]: Guys are going to go down.
- 38:23[SPEAKER_03]: You're going to lose somebody for the year.
- 38:24[SPEAKER_03]: But you just don't know who it's going to be.
- 38:26[SPEAKER_03]: So what if you lost a linebacker?
- 38:28[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe you need to go trade for one.
- 38:29[SPEAKER_03]: What if you lost a receiver?
- 38:31[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe you need to go trade for one.
- 38:32[SPEAKER_03]: And you just don't know.
- 38:33[SPEAKER_03]: So having that flexibility, I think is a, is definitely a good thing.
- 38:37[SPEAKER_03]: It's not nothing.
- 38:38[SPEAKER_03]: Let's just
- 38:41[SPEAKER_03]: All right, a couple other topics I'm going to hit here before we go jump over to our price picks lineup.
- 38:46[SPEAKER_03]: Chris Sims made Brock Perti his 17th best quarterback.
- 38:52[SPEAKER_03]: And in the process, still described him.
- 38:56[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, it's like Sims is just all over the place.
- 38:59[SPEAKER_03]: He described him as as awesome.
- 39:03[SPEAKER_03]: He called him awesome and they called him surgical, but then he listed him as the 17th best quarterback.
- 39:10[SPEAKER_03]: And I just think that's so preposterous, he's not the set and he's way better than to me, he's ten spots better than that for sure.
- 39:19[SPEAKER_03]: All the guy does is win.
- 39:20[SPEAKER_03]: He's 30 and 15 in his career with the Niners.
- 39:23[SPEAKER_03]: He's five and three in the playoffs.
- 39:25[SPEAKER_03]: They've gone to a Super Bowl.
- 39:27[SPEAKER_03]: He's taken them from behind to win the NFC Championship game.
- 39:31[SPEAKER_03]: The guy was 30 and 17 at Iowa State.
- 39:34[SPEAKER_03]: He led them to
- 39:37[SPEAKER_03]: The first year that Iowa State did not have Perti, they still had Matt Campbell, and yet they went one in one and eight inside the big 12.
- 39:46[SPEAKER_03]: And then the line that killed me from Sims and this thing is talking about Perti.
- 39:50[SPEAKER_03]: He's not going to do more with less.
- 39:53[SPEAKER_03]: What the heck is he watching?
- 40:07[SPEAKER_03]: George Kittle went down on the first quarter of the Philly game, they still beat Philly and Philly.
- 40:11[SPEAKER_03]: The nine or wide receivers of the least separation I think I've ever seen in an NFL game in the Seattle game, Brock's operating behind a line that's just totally mediocre.
- 40:22[SPEAKER_03]: CMC's great, but he averaged under three and a half yards per game in 12 games last year, and was under three yards carry in five games.
- 40:33[SPEAKER_03]: the defense had the worst past rush in history.
- 40:37[SPEAKER_03]: The linebacker core was so injured that the guys that played in the playoffs weren't even on the team at Thanksgiving.
- 40:43[SPEAKER_03]: And the second series incredibly young.
- 40:45[SPEAKER_03]: And they went 12 and 5.
- 40:47[SPEAKER_03]: They beat the Eagles and Philly, 17th, 17th, I mean, come on, bro.
- 40:55[SPEAKER_03]: I, you know, people call me Brock pretty stand and all this stuff.
- 41:01[SPEAKER_03]: I guess because if people keep throwing him out there as the 17th best quarter, they're not 16 quarterbacks in the NFL better than Brockbury.
- 41:10[SPEAKER_03]: There might be six, might be seven, might be eight, and that is not 16.
- 41:18[SPEAKER_03]: Give me your thoughts on Perti, the rankings, it's almost like a, it's almost like a surefire way to get to dial up this iconic franchise bay, you know, fan base.
- 41:29[SPEAKER_03]: And I'm sure that's done by design, but still the Perti, the, the, the, the, the Perti disrespect knows no bounds.
- 41:39[SPEAKER_03]: It's, it's really unbelievable.
- 41:42[SPEAKER_02]: I think it a lot of the national media struggles with Brock Perty because admitting what he is now, you have to admit you were wrong and didn't know about him before he was what he is.
- 41:54[SPEAKER_02]: And so, you know, shout out to you, Larry, you were freaking Brock Perty stand before he was to a stud.
- 42:01[SPEAKER_02]: you know what I mean and so I think that's hard and Chris Sims like he does this with all of his rankings where he throws one absurd one in there so everybody I remember when he had Kellen Monde as a top 10 pick in his draft rankings like and I was just like wait a second what is this like for real it's all like I wait and like like he does this to get engagement I'm a longhorn I can't stay in Chris Sims as a player or like he's also a longhorn
- 42:25[SPEAKER_02]: We don't claim them, but like, no, man, like this is just bananas, but and a lot another thing too, like Chris Sims Always goes after Kyle Shanna in quarterbacks like that is a staple They're best friends.
- 42:39[SPEAKER_02]: They have tattoos in each other all that kind of different stuff, but like this is
- 42:43[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, they do.
- 42:44[SPEAKER_03]: They have tattoos of each other.
- 42:46[SPEAKER_02]: That is true.
- 42:47[SPEAKER_02]: They got a six street long-worn drunk night.
- 42:50[SPEAKER_02]: I think is what it was.
- 42:51[SPEAKER_02]: But he has like on his ankle like a face, a little small face of each other or their ankle.
- 42:57[SPEAKER_02]: I think that's yeah.
- 42:58[SPEAKER_02]: I think somebody can verify that for me.
- 43:00[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah.
- 43:01[SPEAKER_03]: Wow.
- 43:01[SPEAKER_02]: that is a thing.
- 43:02[SPEAKER_02]: So, you know, it's what it is, but yeah, to put Brock pretty 17th is malpractice, like that is just ridiculous.
- 43:08[SPEAKER_02]: How many quarterbacks does he have to outdool time and time and time again?
- 43:12[SPEAKER_02]: And again, you talked about the five playoff wins, you know, even the second Super Bowl loss, the offense walked off the field in the fourth quarter over time, walked on to the field, tighter trailing, walked off the field four consecutive times with the lead,
- 43:28[SPEAKER_02]: Um, in the Super Bowl in the fourth quarter and over time didn't come up with a win defense, you know, is what it is, but yeah, that's ridiculous.
- 43:35[SPEAKER_02]: Um, but
- 43:37[SPEAKER_02]: I think it says a lot more about Chris Simpson that does about Brock Perti.
- 43:41[SPEAKER_02]: Is that an opinion that you want to go back for?
- 43:46[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
- 43:47[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know if that's where I kind of want to go for my rankings.
- 43:50[SPEAKER_03]: I think it's absurd.
- 43:51[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I mean, to me, that is just ridiculous.
- 43:55[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, the top five, right?
- 43:57[SPEAKER_03]: You got bro, my homes, Lamar, Josh Allen, whom I leaving off there.
- 44:05[SPEAKER_03]: Stafford, there's somebody else that I just forgot about, but I mean, parties in that next group, he's not in the top, I'm not going to put him in the group.
- 44:16[SPEAKER_03]: But he's absolutely in that second tier.
- 44:18[SPEAKER_03]: And when I see rankings that have CJ, like Mina Times had CJ strout over him and DAC Prescott, guys that he's, you know, I mean, strout actually beat the Niners, but there was their defense more than anything, but I mean, strout was so horrible on the play
- 44:34[SPEAKER_03]: And you're going to, you're, and Brock pretty beat the Eagles and knocked off the World Champions in their backyard.
- 44:40[SPEAKER_03]: And we're going to say that's proud, is higher rated than pretty that that one is really, really mystifying.
- 44:47[SPEAKER_03]: All right, Kyle Shanahan and John Lynch went to Tom Tolbert's backyard.
- 44:53[SPEAKER_03]: And one of the questions that Tommy asked was, what do you guys need to do to win the Super Bowl?
- 44:58[SPEAKER_03]: And Lynch said, hey, look, we got to be healthy, we got to be able to overcome all the obstacles, the travel, and the lack of rest, and the injuries, and all the things that, you know, get put in chat and put in front of you in a season.
- 45:11[SPEAKER_03]: But he said, John's like, hey, you know what, we need our D line to rule the day and set the tone and, you know, cover whatever weaknesses they have in the back end.
- 45:20[SPEAKER_03]: They need their D line to play and play well.
- 45:23[SPEAKER_03]: When Kyle was answering the question, I mean, the first thing he said is we need better defense on all three levels.
- 45:31[SPEAKER_03]: And I'm thinking to myself, man, I mean, that's policy.
- 45:33[SPEAKER_03]: Considering your offense scored six points in the last game of the year against Mike McDonald, that to say that your defense is the key to, you know, on all three levels.
- 45:46[SPEAKER_03]: But then he said on offense, we need more explosives, especially in the run game.
- 45:53[SPEAKER_03]: Are the Niners, have the Niners done anything in your mind to make their run game more explosive?
- 46:03[SPEAKER_03]: What have they done this off season that's going to make their run game more explosive than what we saw on the playoffs?
- 46:09[SPEAKER_02]: You got vertical threats on the outside.
- 46:11[SPEAKER_02]: I would argue the 49ers had the worst wide receiver core of 80 team that made the playoffs last year.
- 46:18[SPEAKER_02]: Um, the worst.
- 46:19[SPEAKER_02]: I don't even think it was close.
- 46:21[SPEAKER_02]: You've added Mike, yeah, five wide receivers.
- 46:24[SPEAKER_02]: Sean Strivley and six, two, two, ten, runs of four, three.
- 46:27[SPEAKER_02]: Mike Evans, vertical threat.
- 46:28[SPEAKER_02]: You're hoping Ricky Pierce all gets healthy.
- 46:30[SPEAKER_02]: I think that that wide receiver room changes.
- 46:34[SPEAKER_02]: the way teams key on the 49er's run game.
- 46:38[SPEAKER_02]: I think that's huge.
- 46:39[SPEAKER_02]: You added to excellent run blocking O-line men in the draft and in Enrique Cruz at Carver Willis, both of them have major past pros issues.
- 46:50[SPEAKER_02]: That's why they went in the fourth and fifth rounds.
- 46:54[SPEAKER_02]: The one thing that you have to say about Enrique Cruz and Carver Willes, they are excellent run blockers.
- 47:00[SPEAKER_02]: They are old, 90s, Mike Shanahan, freaking run blockers.
- 47:06[SPEAKER_02]: The past game is why they fail.
- 47:08[SPEAKER_02]: So you talk about the new additions to the widersyver room, pushing the safety spat, keeping defensive, secondaries honest, instead of, you know, what Seattle did to kill
- 47:21[SPEAKER_02]: the 49ers were they show too high at the snap.
- 47:24[SPEAKER_02]: They waited one count and then they buzzed to safety down.
- 47:27[SPEAKER_02]: It like that is the Mike McDonald new school that is the change up to the NFL because your quarterback says up too high can can can can can can can we're going to switch to a run play and they just keep you in there, but it's not a true too high look.
- 47:43[SPEAKER_02]: Well, you can't buzz that safety down into the box after the snap when you have my heavens on the outside.
- 47:49[SPEAKER_02]: You've got to incorporate this vertical passing game to keep defenses on us, give you light boxes and allow you to have numbers in the outside zone.
- 47:57[SPEAKER_02]: If you can do that, the explosives will return in the run game.
- 48:02[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I think they're gonna block it better on the perimeter.
- 48:06[SPEAKER_03]: So maybe there's some, you know, there's some hope there.
- 48:11[SPEAKER_03]: I'm gonna hope in the K-Lon Black keeps Christian McAfrey fresh.
- 48:16[SPEAKER_03]: that they finished with K-Lon Black and that they use him throughout the game a little bit more than they've, maybe a lot more than they've used their second running back in the past.
- 48:24[SPEAKER_03]: And to me, that's, like if you ask me last three or four years, what's the key for the Niners to win the Super Bowl?
- 48:32[SPEAKER_03]: I've said this many times.
- 48:33[SPEAKER_03]: It's like they gotta get to the playoffs with a healthy and rested and rejuvenated CMC.
- 48:40[SPEAKER_03]: If they do that, I think they can beat everybody in the league.
- 48:44[SPEAKER_03]: but that's a big if and they haven't been able to get there they've had to run this guy into the ground and he's by the time he shows up in the super boy doesn't have it anymore he's like he's just you know a shadow of what he potentially could be so i think k-lon black in fact i'll say this
- 49:00[SPEAKER_03]: Because of that reason, I think K-Lon blacks my X factor for this season, I really do because I think the Niners have to keep CMC fresh.
- 49:09[SPEAKER_03]: I think they get that this year, and I think blacks the key to doing that.
- 49:13[SPEAKER_03]: And I think he's going to be really, really good.
- 49:15[SPEAKER_03]: I think there's going to be times where you're going to be like, hey, you know what?
- 49:18[SPEAKER_03]: You run black here, short yardage, goal line, because he does have tremendous power in his legs.
- 49:24[SPEAKER_03]: And I think he's going to be a really key 49er.
- 49:28[SPEAKER_03]: But if I sit to you, give me an X factor for the year.
- 49:32[SPEAKER_03]: Regardless of position, anybody, either side of the ball, who's your X factor for the year?
- 49:38[SPEAKER_02]: How soon George Kettle comes back?
- 49:41[SPEAKER_02]: Like is he still him and 30 on the wrong side of 30 and Achilles for a speed guy I'm scared of that now I'm not going to doubt kiddo and if you ask George kiddo is he's going to play five six more years and I hope that's the case.
- 50:01[SPEAKER_02]: My concern is somebody at some time is going to hit that age wall.
- 50:07[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know who it's going to be, whether it's Kiddles, CFC, Trent, like you've got some older players pepper throughout this roster.
- 50:15[SPEAKER_02]: So George Kiddles, big for me, and Drake Greenlaw.
- 50:19[SPEAKER_02]: When Drake Greenlaw plays well, that's the best linebacker group in the NFL.
- 50:23[SPEAKER_02]: They completely shut down teams last year.
- 50:25[SPEAKER_02]: You go to that first Super Bowl.
- 50:28[SPEAKER_02]: They couldn't do or the second Super Bowl, like Chiefs, yeah, Travis Kiddles, he fight
- 50:37[SPEAKER_02]: injury happens as you talked about everything changes.
- 50:40[SPEAKER_02]: They take advantage of, you know, the backup linebacker and the rest is history, but man, I'm going to go George Kittle and Drake Greenlaw.
- 50:48[SPEAKER_02]: Those two guys, if you can get Kittle back on time, if Drake Greenlaw can be the enforcer, it's stay on the field.
- 50:55[SPEAKER_02]: Dude, I love Jerry Greenlaw, man.
- 50:57[SPEAKER_02]: He is just, he changed his entire temperament of the team.
- 51:00[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, no, no question.
- 51:02[SPEAKER_03]: No question.
- 51:02[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, I'll never forget the Patrick Mahomes moment where he ran off the field in Vegas after the first series.
- 51:10[SPEAKER_03]: You know, just imploring his silent.
- 51:12[SPEAKER_02]: We got a dial up her intensity.
- 51:14[SPEAKER_02]: We got a dial up her intensity.
- 51:15[SPEAKER_03]: We got a dial up her intensity.
- 51:17[SPEAKER_03]: And it's like, you know what?
- 51:19[SPEAKER_03]: That was all about Greenlaw.
- 51:21[SPEAKER_03]: It was all about green law and if he had if he could have played at the level that he was playing at throughout that game, I really believe the Niners were one that game To tough one.
- 51:30[SPEAKER_03]: It's a real real tough one.
- 51:31[SPEAKER_03]: All right.
- 51:32[SPEAKER_03]: Let's do this it we will we'll take a quick time out
- 51:36[SPEAKER_03]: and tell you that the crew show is brought to you by our good friends at price picks.
- 51:40[SPEAKER_03]: That's right.
- 51:42[SPEAKER_03]: Price picks is America's number one sports picks app and the reason I like it it's simple.
- 51:45[SPEAKER_03]: You're just picking more or less on player stats or game outcomes building your line up and you're in no complicated stuff.
- 51:51[SPEAKER_03]: Just what you think's going to happen in the game.
- 51:53[SPEAKER_03]: So you use code HMA play $5.50 in the link is in the description.
- 52:00[SPEAKER_03]: All right.
- 52:00[SPEAKER_03]: So we will move Johnny and I to the corner
- 52:03[SPEAKER_03]: get this little comment off the screen for just a second.
- 52:06[SPEAKER_03]: I thought we don't love it and we'll move ourselves there and we will share the screen and welcome in our price picks options.
- 52:16[SPEAKER_03]: There we go and then we'll come over here and switch the formats with all looks nice and copicetic.
- 52:24[SPEAKER_03]: All right, where is it there we go, right?
- 52:28[SPEAKER_03]: There.
- 52:29[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, you're over under on shy free throws because that's what I would be bitten.
- 52:35[SPEAKER_03]: on, uh, on, uh, Oh, which less, yeah.
- 52:37[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know.
- 52:38[SPEAKER_03]: And she'll, Gil, Gil, guess I'm in here free.
- 52:41[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 52:42[SPEAKER_03]: Let me say that.
- 52:43[SPEAKER_03]: Let's go MBA.
- 52:43[SPEAKER_03]: We'll go MBA.
- 52:45[SPEAKER_03]: Um, so this is, this is, uh, we got OKC or San Antonio here.
- 52:53[SPEAKER_03]: We're waiting on the Eastern Conference Finals are done.
- 52:55[SPEAKER_03]: The next, well, I think you're going to win the finals, but we'll see.
- 52:59[SPEAKER_03]: It'll be an upset if they do, but here we got, we've got, uh, spurs thunder.
- 53:04[SPEAKER_02]: Who do you want here you want to share I'm staying out of this I'm a maves guy I hate these two teams I'm not watching this damn series.
- 53:11[SPEAKER_02]: I have a I have a boy caught it.
- 53:13[SPEAKER_02]: I am so pissed at the V8.
- 53:15[SPEAKER_02]: How it's gone?
- 53:16[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, I like Jared McCain is a kid from Sacramento.
- 53:19[SPEAKER_03]: I like him.
- 53:20[SPEAKER_03]: So I'm going to go with more than 13 and a half points on Jared McCain Victor Wembe Miyama who
- 53:30[SPEAKER_03]: Oh man, big Vick.
- 53:32[SPEAKER_03]: 27 and a half points John more or less.
- 53:36[SPEAKER_03]: Or not go three dunks more or less.
- 53:39[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, three dunks.
- 53:40[SPEAKER_03]: The dudes 12 foot tall on a 10 foot goal.
- 53:42[SPEAKER_03]: All right.
- 53:43[SPEAKER_03]: We'll go with more more on on dunks and then Shay or Castle.
- 53:49[SPEAKER_03]: Uh, I kind of like the spurs in this next game.
- 53:53[SPEAKER_03]: So I'm going to go
- 53:55[SPEAKER_03]: I'm going to go with, uh, I'm going to go with Shay under, I'm going to go Shay less than 30 and a half points.
- 54:04[SPEAKER_03]: All right.
- 54:05[SPEAKER_03]: So we'll come over here and we will wager.
- 54:07[SPEAKER_03]: I want to put 20 and we don't have that much confidence in this.
- 54:11[SPEAKER_03]: Um, we'll go five.
- 54:13[SPEAKER_03]: We'll go five and we'll submit our line up.
- 54:16[SPEAKER_03]: There we go.
- 54:18[SPEAKER_03]: It takes, you know, a couple seconds, and there you go.
- 54:21[SPEAKER_03]: We have our lineup.
- 54:21[SPEAKER_03]: We'll view our lineup.
- 54:23[SPEAKER_03]: All right, we did a three-pick power play.
- 54:26[SPEAKER_03]: $5 pays us $28.75.
- 54:28[SPEAKER_03]: Jared McCain has to score 14 points.
- 54:33[SPEAKER_03]: Victor Wembe-Miyama's got to have four dunks, and Shay Gilgis Alexander's got to have less than, they have 30 points or less.
- 54:44[SPEAKER_03]: be scores 31 or more were loser, but if he scores 30 or less were winners.
- 54:50[SPEAKER_03]: And if we go three for three, our $5 turns into 28 75, thanks to prize picks for being a proud sponsor of the crew show.
- 54:59[SPEAKER_03]: We appreciate them and all that they do, the great sponsors of the show and we'll move this out of the way.
- 55:04[SPEAKER_03]: the thank you to prize picks for being a proud sponsor of the cruise ship.
- 55:07[SPEAKER_03]: All right.
- 55:09[SPEAKER_03]: And you guys, I'm a big fan of prize picks.
- 55:11[SPEAKER_03]: So check them out.
- 55:12[SPEAKER_03]: They do a great job.
- 55:13[SPEAKER_03]: I want to
- 55:16[SPEAKER_03]: play this little sound bite.
- 55:17[SPEAKER_03]: I always love hearing from Dick Sherman.
- 55:20[SPEAKER_03]: And he was asked the question about Kyle on the hot seat.
- 55:23[SPEAKER_03]: And it's like this, these guys, this is when you know we're at the point in the off season where there's nothing new.
- 55:30[SPEAKER_03]: You know what I mean?
- 55:31[SPEAKER_03]: We've had the draft.
- 55:32[SPEAKER_03]: We've all done all the videos.
- 55:35[SPEAKER_03]: But yet it's still May 27th and we got to have stuff to talk about and Sherman's no different than us.
- 55:43[SPEAKER_03]: He's got to have something to talk about in the topic today is Kyle Shanahan ever going to be a lot.
- 55:49[SPEAKER_01]: Kyle Shanahan in the 49ers missed the playoffs this year.
- 55:52[SPEAKER_01]: Do you think his job potentially would be in danger?
- 55:55[SPEAKER_00]: They missed the playoffs this year.
- 55:56[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know who asked his question, but we got to check what's in their cup.
- 56:01[SPEAKER_00]: If calcium and this display office here, would he be on the hot seat?
- 56:04[SPEAKER_00]: Absolutely not.
- 56:05[SPEAKER_00]: He wouldn't even be close.
- 56:06[SPEAKER_00]: He'd be on a iceberg.
- 56:07[SPEAKER_00]: He'd still be on an absolute iceberg.
- 56:09[SPEAKER_00]: And if he somehow was on the hot seat, then there'd be 20 seats in the NFL getting hotter as he's got hotter.
- 56:16[SPEAKER_00]: because if he ever got fired so with that, because there are at least 20 teams in National Football League that would fire their coach that day to have a chance to interview Kyle Shanahan to be their head coach.
- 56:27[SPEAKER_00]: I would say it's 15 to 20 teams that would love Kyle Shanahan as their head coach and the leader of their franchise.
- 56:33[SPEAKER_00]: And I don't think that Jed York would be willing to fire Kyle Shanahan to make him available to other teams.
- 56:38[SPEAKER_00]: The master class that he just put on this year, losing balsam, losing Fred Warner, losing Brock Curdy, losing kiddo for a while, and they still won 12 games.
- 56:47[SPEAKER_00]: Missing the playoffs would just be...
- 56:50[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, so I'll throw it to you, but this is just kind of an absurd notion, but there's a lot of people that love to stir the pots and love to stir the pot in this category.
- 57:04[SPEAKER_03]: Kyle Shanna hands on the hot sea.
- 57:07[SPEAKER_03]: You know, the 49ers have been to two superballs.
- 57:11[SPEAKER_03]: He's winning percentages five, 50.
- 57:14[SPEAKER_03]: He's nine and four, I believe, in the playoffs, with two superbowl births.
- 57:20[SPEAKER_03]: So, you know, people can wish they can, the drama, you know, people love the park, they're car in the corner of head coach and starting quarterback.
- 57:29[SPEAKER_03]: So you see, probably the most bogus kind of topics around those two positions.
- 57:35[SPEAKER_03]: But why, why is it that, you know, it's weird.
- 57:41[SPEAKER_03]: It's like shoo, shenan was the OC in Atlanta.
- 57:45[SPEAKER_03]: When they blew the 283 lead.
- 57:47[SPEAKER_03]: He wasn't the head coach.
- 57:49[SPEAKER_03]: He wasn't the defense of head defense of coordinator.
- 57:53[SPEAKER_03]: It would seem to me that those two guys deserve the blame.
- 57:56[SPEAKER_03]: And it seems like Shanahan took more blame for that 283 loss than then, uh, Quinn did and Quinn was the head coach and definitely more than any of the defensive staff did and they gave up a 283 lead.
- 58:09[SPEAKER_03]: So I don't know.
- 58:11[SPEAKER_03]: Uh, there's a lot of people that that love to throw out the Shanahan's going to get, you know, on the hot seat.
- 58:16[SPEAKER_03]: I just don't see it.
- 58:17[SPEAKER_03]: I kind of see
- 58:21[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, yeah, he's not going anywhere, like at all.
- 58:26[SPEAKER_02]: He could have back to back years where they don't make the playoffs.
- 58:28[SPEAKER_02]: He's not going anywhere.
- 58:29[SPEAKER_02]: This guy gives you such an advantage.
- 58:31[SPEAKER_02]: Players, coaches, people that have been around the league understand, look at how many Kyle Shining hand disciples are head coaches throughout the league.
- 58:39[SPEAKER_02]: He gives you such an advantage consistently.
- 58:42[SPEAKER_02]: We talked about how he makes quarterbacks all this money and I hate saying they might ruffle some feathers and I apologize.
- 58:48[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not trying to insult anybody here, but if you're one of those people that's like man, they got a fire Kyle Shanahan.
- 58:54[SPEAKER_02]: It got who's received coach of the year votes in five out of nine seasons.
- 59:00[SPEAKER_02]: You might not understand what you're watching and you might not know what's going on out there.
- 59:05[SPEAKER_02]: Kyle Shanahan is a
- 59:08[SPEAKER_02]: top five coach in the NFL and eight four or five.
- 59:11[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 59:12[SPEAKER_02]: He doesn't have the Super Bowl yet, but man, what is it like eight teams have never even won the Super Bowl?
- 59:17[SPEAKER_02]: Like, I understand that.
- 59:19[SPEAKER_02]: Your job and we used to say this whenever I coach down in Tuckerville, it takes us like,
- 59:24[SPEAKER_02]: People would ask us like, you're gonna win the championship.
- 59:26[SPEAKER_02]: Man, the things that have to go your way, the ball bouncing your way, stay in healthy.
- 59:33[SPEAKER_02]: Things that are not in your necessary control, your job is to get your team and a place to compete for that and to have a chance.
- 59:42[SPEAKER_02]: Shanahan does that more often than not.
- 59:44[SPEAKER_02]: And he rebuilt a horrible franchise, horrible.
- 59:49[SPEAKER_02]: It's not like McVay walking into the Rams where you just had the number one overall pick in a quarterback in place and Todd Gurley and Aaron Donald.
- 59:55[SPEAKER_02]: You didn't have that.
- 59:57[SPEAKER_02]: You're coming off a Jim Tom Sula chip Kelly.
- 1:00:00[SPEAKER_02]: You had nothing.
- 1:00:02[SPEAKER_02]: Rebuilt it from scratch.
- 1:00:04[SPEAKER_02]: Now, a quarter of the NFL is all your personnel, all your coaches.
- 1:00:10[SPEAKER_02]: Kyle Shanahan.
- 1:00:11[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, there's criticisms.
- 1:00:13[SPEAKER_02]: You know, I'm not a bootlicker.
- 1:00:14[SPEAKER_02]: We talked about this Larry.
- 1:00:15[SPEAKER_02]: There's some major issues with Kyle Shanahan.
- 1:00:17[SPEAKER_02]: But the not the issues do not take him out of the top five.
- 1:00:21[SPEAKER_02]: For, you know, Richard Sherwood said 20 teams would fire their coach automatically.
- 1:00:24[SPEAKER_02]: I agree with that.
- 1:00:26[SPEAKER_02]: To rebuild a team, everybody would be so stoked to have Kyle Shanahan right now.
- 1:00:31[SPEAKER_02]: He's going into his 10th year and goodness.
- 1:00:34[SPEAKER_02]: The 40 hours are in the mix every damn year every year.
- 1:00:40[SPEAKER_03]: But you know, the Niners haven't climbed to the top of the mountain.
- 1:00:46[SPEAKER_03]: And Kyle Shanahan was asked about, hey, would you rather have that one Super Bowl or you'd rather be, and then be bad for a decade or would you rather be competitive throughout the decade?
- 1:00:56[SPEAKER_03]: And it's a good question.
- 1:00:58[SPEAKER_03]: But his answer, I thought, was the greatest answer.
- 1:01:01[SPEAKER_03]: He's like as soon as you mentioned the Super Bowl, I haven't been able to think about the rest of the question.
- 1:01:06[SPEAKER_03]: because he's obsessed with the Super Bowl because he should be because it's really the holy grail.
- 1:01:11[SPEAKER_03]: If he gets that Super Bowl, he's a made man and can stay as long as he wants.
- 1:01:17[SPEAKER_03]: And if if John wins that Super Bowl the same and if Jed wins that Super Bowl the same and if Brock
- 1:01:31[SPEAKER_03]: You know, just being kind of made men in their profession.
- 1:01:35[SPEAKER_02]: So it's funny because like I'll ask people like the next question.
- 1:01:39[SPEAKER_02]: When people like, oh, we got fired.
- 1:01:40[SPEAKER_02]: My question is always, well, who would you hire?
- 1:01:42[SPEAKER_02]: Who are you going to replace them with?
- 1:01:44[SPEAKER_02]: Because that's the second part.
- 1:01:45[SPEAKER_02]: And they'll say things like Andy Reed, Sean McVeigh.
- 1:01:48[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm like, Andy Reed never won anything as far as the super vocals until they had the best quarterback in the NFL.
- 1:01:55[SPEAKER_02]: Kyle Shinhans done this with Brock Perti and Freak and Jimmy
- 1:02:01[SPEAKER_03]: I love those dudes.
- 1:02:02[SPEAKER_03]: They're good.
- 1:02:02[SPEAKER_03]: And that's what you hear by the way, John, and I'm not to get you up, but that's what I hear so many times.
- 1:02:08[SPEAKER_03]: If I ever bring up Brock Perti and that he wins and the nine-year fan who doesn't have a pretty, doesn't have much of a scope of quarter backs will immediately be like, well, what about Jimmy Garoppolo?
- 1:02:18[SPEAKER_03]: He won.
- 1:02:19[SPEAKER_03]: It's like, dude, really you're going to go there.
- 1:02:23[SPEAKER_03]: Brock Perti was better in his first game off the bench, not knowing he was going to play the Jimmy Grappler was his whole fucking career.
- 1:02:33[SPEAKER_03]: What are we talking about?
- 1:02:35[SPEAKER_03]: What?
- 1:02:36[SPEAKER_03]: You're going to go there.
- 1:02:37[SPEAKER_03]: You're going to go Jimmy Grappler on me, really?
- 1:02:40[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, come on.
- 1:02:41[SPEAKER_03]: He's handsome.
- 1:02:42[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, yeah, but Jimmy couldn't even turn his back on the defense and flip back and nowhere anybody was.
- 1:02:49[SPEAKER_03]: He needed a full, like, second to, like, reassess where everybody was.
- 1:02:53[SPEAKER_03]: Where Brock party can turn his back on the defense, turn right around, and no exactly where everybody is.
- 1:02:59[SPEAKER_03]: We saw Brock party in his first game against the dolphins.
- 1:03:03[SPEAKER_03]: Brian Flores was bringing the freaking,
- 1:03:06[SPEAKER_03]: bring in the kitchen sink and Brock Perti blindly hit George Kittle on a little bang eight right in the middle of the field.
- 1:03:13[SPEAKER_03]: He never saw George Kittle.
- 1:03:15[SPEAKER_03]: It was all spatial awareness based on where he thought Kittle would be in the pattern at the moment.
- 1:03:20[SPEAKER_03]: He was released in the ball.
- 1:03:22[SPEAKER_03]: He literally threw it blind.
- 1:03:24[SPEAKER_03]: Jimmy Garoppolo couldn't do that.
- 1:03:25[SPEAKER_03]: Ever.
- 1:03:27[SPEAKER_03]: So I don't know.
- 1:03:27[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, the Jimmy Garoppolo thing is always that the so many nine fans bring up Jimmy Garoppolo as like why they don't believe in Brock Perty.
- 1:03:38[SPEAKER_03]: I don't believe in Brock Perty.
- 1:03:39[SPEAKER_03]: I believe in Jimmy and Jimmy sucked eventually.
- 1:03:42[SPEAKER_03]: And I was like, I believed in cap.
- 1:03:45[SPEAKER_03]: He was good.
- 1:03:46[SPEAKER_03]: You know, the nine are some a couple quarterbacks that were good and then not good.
- 1:03:50[SPEAKER_03]: And it's like, so it's like nine are fans just have like a, it's like scars,
- 1:03:57[SPEAKER_03]: I bought the captures he and he sucked.
- 1:04:00[SPEAKER_03]: I bought the Garoppolo shirt, you know, I'm not gonna get fooled again.
- 1:04:04[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know, maybe that's a small minority of the fans, but it does seem like there's people out there kind of expecting Brock Perti to just disintegrate when he's getting better every year.
- 1:04:16[SPEAKER_03]: Every single time I see this guy, he's clearly still in a somewhat gradual ascension as a prospect.
- 1:04:25[SPEAKER_03]: that's what I see.
- 1:04:27[SPEAKER_03]: I see a guy that's continuing to get better every time I even last year coming off the turf toe.
- 1:04:31[SPEAKER_03]: I thought, oh, turf toe is probably going to be pretty bad.
- 1:04:34[SPEAKER_03]: John, he, he, he, he was better last year in some ways than I've ever seen him before.
- 1:04:39[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know.
- 1:04:41[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know.
- 1:04:42[SPEAKER_03]: Uh, for whatever reason people have, you know, they love the idea shenan's on the hot seat.
- 1:04:48[SPEAKER_03]: Perties not him.
- 1:04:50[SPEAKER_03]: You know, those are hot takes in nine or
- 1:04:53[SPEAKER_03]: Um, okay, couple last thoughts, Shane Daniels, he was asked today about Brandon and I you, maybe he was yesterday.
- 1:05:00[SPEAKER_03]: He says, I don't have a sense of it.
- 1:05:03[SPEAKER_03]: Um, he was asked, do you have any sense of I, where are you exactly with his career football wise?
- 1:05:09[SPEAKER_03]: And he said, I don't have a sense of it.
- 1:05:11[SPEAKER_03]: I use football future is out of my control.
- 1:05:14[SPEAKER_03]: It almost seems like Daniels has given up hope that I, you can play for them.
- 1:05:21[SPEAKER_03]: John, are we ever going to see Brandon and I, you play in the NFL again?
- 1:05:25[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, I know that seems to have been a traumatic question, but there are no indications that he is on the verge of a comeback of any kind.
- 1:05:33[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, now you're talking about like one of his best friends.
- 1:05:36[SPEAKER_02]: You've got TJ Hoosmanzata, his wide receiver coach, his agent, you know, left him.
- 1:05:43[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know, man.
- 1:05:44[SPEAKER_02]: And if I had to guess, I don't think he ever plays again.
- 1:05:49[SPEAKER_02]: Wow, it's sad like how this is that all this going on, he's taking photos on Instagram about how much money he's got like I just don't think it's his priority anymore.
- 1:05:58[SPEAKER_02]: And so I don't know man.
- 1:06:01[SPEAKER_02]: I feel I feel for the dude.
- 1:06:03[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, he let his team down.
- 1:06:06[SPEAKER_02]: You know, I don't know.
- 1:06:07[SPEAKER_02]: I
- 1:06:08[SPEAKER_02]: some people that we've referenced on this show were talking about him being ready week one last year.
- 1:06:13[SPEAKER_02]: So you can take those kind of take her however you want to.
- 1:06:18[SPEAKER_02]: But I don't know, man.
- 1:06:21[SPEAKER_02]: I'm completely done with B.A.
- 1:06:23[SPEAKER_02]: It like I come at this from a coaching perspective.
- 1:06:26[SPEAKER_02]: You protect your locker room.
- 1:06:27[SPEAKER_02]: You protect your brothers.
- 1:06:29[SPEAKER_02]: Like, man, I'm watching band of brothers right now.
- 1:06:31[SPEAKER_02]: You don't just walk out on your team when you're getting paid all that and just never call or show up.
- 1:06:36[SPEAKER_02]: Like,
- 1:06:37[SPEAKER_02]: I'm talking to my freaking teenager like no call no show like he's working at pizza place and I'm like do You got to go to work all the time and if you don't you got to let them know he didn't do this.
- 1:06:46[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, he's more mature than be a like you don't let others down just because Whatever's going on so I hope somebody in his life is helping them get some type of
- 1:06:58[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know, counseling, check on something.
- 1:07:00[SPEAKER_03]: I'm worried about this kid, man.
- 1:07:01[SPEAKER_03]: And I'm too, I think it seems, it's a very dramatic sport.
- 1:07:07[SPEAKER_03]: You make a lot of money and then it goes away when your body breaks and his body broke and it all happened so damn fast.
- 1:07:13[SPEAKER_03]: And I just feel like he's demonstrating instability here and I hope he's okay as a guy, beyond football.
- 1:07:22[SPEAKER_03]: Of course, just I hope he's okay as a guy.
- 1:07:25[SPEAKER_03]: because he's had a fall from grace.
- 1:07:28[SPEAKER_03]: It's been very dramatic.
- 1:07:29[SPEAKER_03]: All right, let's we thank, we hit our price picks.
- 1:07:34[SPEAKER_03]: But let me thank a couple of our sponsors and then we'll hit it some of our supers.
- 1:07:37[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you to Alamar Marina.net.
- 1:07:40[SPEAKER_03]: float while you die on the Sacramento River, the Alamar, great restaurant.

- 1:07:56[SPEAKER_03]: AlamarMarina.net.
- 1:07:57[SPEAKER_03]: There are very few places where you can drive up your boat, park it, have breakfast or lunch and get back on your boat and sail away.
- 1:08:05[SPEAKER_03]: You can do that at
- 1:08:08[SPEAKER_03]: So, Alamarina.net, the Alamar is the name of the restaurant, 599, 999, Garden Highway.
- 1:08:14[SPEAKER_03]: Thanks to Brandon and all the good people up at Alamar for sponsoring the crude show, and they're going to sponsor a very big segment on the crude show.
- 1:08:21[SPEAKER_03]: We're going to have some football insiders with us this year and the Alamar is made that possibility, so thank you to them.
- 1:08:29[SPEAKER_03]: And also thank you to our good friends at Sharp Corner SportsCards and Collectibles, the great Anthony Katania.

- 1:08:52[SPEAKER_03]: on whatever it is that you purchase, and thanks to Anthony Catonney, he's a really good dude, great nine-year fan, and we're really excited to be associated with sharp corners, sports cards, and collectibles.
- 1:09:04[SPEAKER_03]: All right.
- 1:09:06[SPEAKER_03]: John, if you could add one piece to this thing, to one piece to the puzzle, I'm going to share the screen.
- 1:09:14[SPEAKER_03]: Somebody had this out today.
- 1:09:15[SPEAKER_03]: I think it was a profile giraffe network or something.
- 1:09:18[SPEAKER_03]: And it was kind of an interesting thing.
- 1:09:20[SPEAKER_03]: It was a guess, basically, on their part of every team in the league.
- 1:09:26[SPEAKER_03]: And they're trade candidate.
- 1:09:27[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know if you saw this.
- 1:09:28[SPEAKER_03]: But if you haven't seen this, do you want to guess who the nine or trade candidate is?
- 1:09:32[SPEAKER_03]: It's obviously not shown here.
- 1:09:34[SPEAKER_03]: It's at the bottom, but I'm going to show it here in a second.
- 1:09:37[SPEAKER_03]: Hmm.
- 1:09:38[SPEAKER_03]: What nine are players?
- 1:09:39[SPEAKER_03]: Do you think would be there considered their top trade candidate as we sit here on May the 27th?
- 1:09:47[SPEAKER_02]: Top trade candidate for the Niners.
- 1:09:49[SPEAKER_02]: Probably Matt Jones.
- 1:09:52[SPEAKER_02]: It's actually Isaac Correndo.
- 1:09:54[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, oh, Isaac Correndo.
- 1:09:56[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, trade up.
- 1:09:57[SPEAKER_03]: Trade up Correndo.
- 1:09:59[SPEAKER_03]: But this is an interesting list.
- 1:10:01[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know if you can see the list.
- 1:10:03[SPEAKER_03]: Can you see the list or is it too small?
- 1:10:05[SPEAKER_03]: No, it's good.
- 1:10:06[SPEAKER_03]: You can see it.
- 1:10:07[SPEAKER_03]: OK, so I'm looking at this list, OK?
- 1:10:11[SPEAKER_03]: And I'm just going down, can any of these guys help the Niners win the Super Bowl?
- 1:10:14[SPEAKER_03]: OK, James Conner, a couple years ago, could of OK.
- 1:10:18[SPEAKER_03]: He on Coleman now, I do like Xavier to get, but he's really raw.
- 1:10:23[SPEAKER_03]: Jerry, you didn't want name.
- 1:10:25[SPEAKER_03]: Jerry, Judy would be interesting to me.
- 1:10:27[SPEAKER_03]: If you needed to receive her, Niners don't seem to need to receive her to get a bunch.
- 1:10:32[SPEAKER_03]: Terry on Arnold is a good corner though, I really like Terry on Arnold.
- 1:10:35[SPEAKER_03]: That's an interesting name to me.
- 1:10:37[SPEAKER_03]: When I go further down the list, I see a couple guys down here.
- 1:10:40[SPEAKER_03]: Colby Parkinson with the Rams.
- 1:10:42[SPEAKER_03]: If the Rams are going to move Colby Parkinson, I think if I'm the Niners, that is the guy to get.
- 1:10:48[SPEAKER_03]: He's smart.
- 1:10:48[SPEAKER_03]: He's played for the Rams.
- 1:10:49[SPEAKER_03]: He's played for the Seahawks.
- 1:10:51[SPEAKER_03]: He knows the division.
- 1:10:52[SPEAKER_03]: He's playing his best football.
- 1:10:53[SPEAKER_03]: It seems like every year that goes by.
- 1:10:55[SPEAKER_03]: It's got pretty good hands.
- 1:10:56[SPEAKER_03]: Played well in the playoffs.
- 1:10:58[SPEAKER_03]: Rams have a bunch of tight ends.
- 1:10:59[SPEAKER_03]: But man, if Colby Parkinson is available at the cut down or in a trade,
- 1:11:04[SPEAKER_03]: If I'm John Lynch, I'd make that trade.
- 1:11:06[SPEAKER_03]: I'd make that call.
- 1:11:07[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think the Rams would be in a rush to give me to you, but that's a guy that interests me.
- 1:11:11[SPEAKER_03]: Another guy that interests me is Jordan Addison from the Minnesota Vikings.
- 1:11:15[SPEAKER_03]: I think that Jordan Addison is a really good player.
- 1:11:18[SPEAKER_03]: And I know he's not gonna get a contract extension from Minnesota.
- 1:11:22[SPEAKER_03]: He's had some off-field driving issues driving too fast and that kind of thing.
- 1:11:26[SPEAKER_03]: Um, but Jordan Addison, I think would be a fantastic neither cave on tibido, uh, sitting there as an edge rusher is, is really interesting.
- 1:11:36[SPEAKER_03]: I kind of like Johnny Newton, who's on the bottom here, jurors on Newton, played it Illinois.
- 1:11:40[SPEAKER_03]: You're, you're looking at this list and you know football, give me a guide or two on this list that you would be, um, excited about if, uh, the Niners could, could add
- 1:11:53[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, tied in Evan Ingraham.
- 1:11:55[SPEAKER_02]: I think that would be huge from Denver.
- 1:11:57[SPEAKER_02]: I would like that one in the edge cave on tiptoe.
- 1:11:59[SPEAKER_02]: Like he's probably, you know, looking at this list, probably the most talented player on this list at the most important position.
- 1:12:06[SPEAKER_02]: You know, how long is it going to take my kill and both of the return.
- 1:12:09[SPEAKER_02]: Key on white with the shot ankle like.
- 1:12:12[SPEAKER_02]: those would be the two positions that I would say.
- 1:12:15[SPEAKER_02]: All right, I'm interested.
- 1:12:17[SPEAKER_02]: If you were to do it, Colby Parkinson definitely piece my interest, but that rare interdivision player trade.
- 1:12:24[SPEAKER_02]: And you might pay for him there, but man, I love to have that too.
- 1:12:29[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, Parkinson would be nice.
- 1:12:31[SPEAKER_03]: Last one, if you were on the field tomorrow in Santa Clara, watching OTAs,
- 1:12:38[SPEAKER_03]: You know the way these practices work, right?
- 1:12:40[SPEAKER_03]: It's a football practice.
- 1:12:41[SPEAKER_03]: So on this side of the field you got one position group and maybe over there you got somebody else and on the other side of the field there's a couple other position groups and you can't watch them all you can watch somebody you can watch maybe a couple different positions.
- 1:13:04[SPEAKER_03]: Where are you parking yourself?
- 1:13:06[SPEAKER_03]: What are you watching?
- 1:13:07[SPEAKER_02]: I want to know the linebacker rotation.
- 1:13:09[SPEAKER_02]: Who is getting that same linebacker snaps?
- 1:13:12[SPEAKER_02]: Is Nick Martin just getting lined up at Will?
- 1:13:15[SPEAKER_02]: Is Tane on bathroom getting number three snaps and Will are the mic snaps?
- 1:13:19[SPEAKER_02]: Like, I want to know how that's going to shake out.
- 1:13:21[SPEAKER_02]: That's the one where I'm just like, hmm, are they doing some, you know, four, three over, three, four odd sets?
- 1:13:28[SPEAKER_02]: Like what that looks like?
- 1:13:29[SPEAKER_02]: So the linebackers, I think you're going to be telling with the new defensive coordinator.
- 1:13:33[SPEAKER_02]: I would be paid, but I was linebacker I played it.
- 1:13:36[SPEAKER_02]: I coached it.
- 1:13:37[SPEAKER_02]: That's usually where my eyes go, but I mean, I'm dying to know what that rotation looks like in the linebacker room.
- 1:13:46[SPEAKER_03]: I'll tell you where I might as would go.
- 1:13:48[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, obviously, I want to see who's going to be lining up with the ones at left guard.
- 1:13:53[SPEAKER_03]: But so that's the one position thing I'll be looking for.
- 1:13:57[SPEAKER_03]: But other than that, I want to see these hybrid guys.
- 1:14:00[SPEAKER_03]: You got some hybrid players here that you haven't had in the past.
- 1:14:03[SPEAKER_03]: Romero height.
- 1:14:04[SPEAKER_03]: Romero height wouldn't have fit in a fourth, three, wide, nine, typically.
- 1:14:08[SPEAKER_03]: But in this defense that Reemore is just going to run, where there's some five-man fronts, I think he fits in really well.
- 1:14:15[SPEAKER_03]: Larry worth the third is he a linebacker is he a safety where is he is he running with the backers and he's a speedy linebacker But I'm excited was he is he a jumbo safety.
- 1:14:26[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, that's one guy and Jane Dugger.
- 1:14:29[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, Jane Dugger is coming off a year where he had 125 tackles for the raging caigens Louisiana and
- 1:14:38[SPEAKER_03]: Let's get where the green dot is, very, very athletic as pursuit abilities, unbelievable.
- 1:14:43[SPEAKER_03]: To me, I want to see those three kind of hybrid players and who starts a left guard.
- 1:14:49[SPEAKER_03]: That's that kind of what jumps out of me.
- 1:14:51[SPEAKER_03]: That's going to do it for us, by the way.
- 1:14:53[SPEAKER_03]: Except we have a couple of super.
- 1:14:55[SPEAKER_03]: So let's hit our super.
- 1:14:56[SPEAKER_03]: So we have three of them here, and let's just jump right in with them.
- 1:15:00[SPEAKER_03]: We got this one.
- 1:15:01[SPEAKER_03]: From Tommy Huxley, who says, hitner coming at demo now.
- 1:15:08[SPEAKER_03]: What do you think of?
- 1:15:09[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, Dante is a former player.
- 1:15:12[SPEAKER_03]: He sees things as a DB that you are I probably wouldn't see necessarily and he has his own platform now and he wants to use it to critique these guys.
- 1:15:23[SPEAKER_03]: I don't seem like the guys want his critiques.
- 1:15:26[SPEAKER_03]: That's for sure.
- 1:15:27[SPEAKER_03]: But Jair maybe went at him and we know how that went.
- 1:15:34[SPEAKER_03]: Where Dimo has kept it a little bit more
- 1:15:38[SPEAKER_03]: uh... he's got a little bit more experience in the media then jayir does uh... and he kind of knows how to play it a little bit more but uh... he kind of seemed to like
- 1:15:50[SPEAKER_03]: not be angered by Whittner's criticisms as much as kind of interested, so that's probably good.
- 1:15:56[SPEAKER_03]: What do you think of Whittner's criticism on YouTube of, of nine or players?
- 1:16:03[SPEAKER_02]: I don't mind the criticism of players ever.
- 1:16:06[SPEAKER_02]: I hate when the
- 1:16:09[SPEAKER_02]: Journalist or podcaster or content be person becomes the story and injects himself.
- 1:16:15[SPEAKER_02]: That's not I don't like that And so now he's doing it with multiple players and it's just like I don't think that's beneficial to really anybody So I hate it.
- 1:16:25[SPEAKER_02]: I wish players would just stay out of it.
- 1:16:26[SPEAKER_02]: I wish Hitler would stay out of it because
- 1:16:29[SPEAKER_02]: You're just messing up kind of the way people see around here, but you know, you got to get clicks got to get your money.
- 1:16:34[SPEAKER_02]: It's what it is.
- 1:16:35[SPEAKER_02]: I do want to say a shout out to Tommy and your family.
- 1:16:37[SPEAKER_02]: I know you go through a rough time, man.
- 1:16:38[SPEAKER_02]: We love your brother thinking about you, man.
- 1:16:43[SPEAKER_02]: We shout out to their Tommy who left a super chat.
- 1:16:46[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, I got you.
- 1:16:47[SPEAKER_03]: I got you.
- 1:16:48[SPEAKER_03]: Tommy Huxley, I got you.
- 1:16:49[SPEAKER_03]: I was looking ahead here.
- 1:16:51[SPEAKER_03]: All right, we got this one from Stephen Niners.
- 1:16:55[SPEAKER_03]: He said more likely than Bosa on the Niners, more likely than that Bosa or the Niners get 20 seconds.
- 1:17:03[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, they'll get over 20 seconds this year.
- 1:17:05[SPEAKER_02]: Again, he's on the Niners.
- 1:17:07[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, there's no way that most of it could get 20 sacks without the Niners.
- 1:17:10[SPEAKER_02]: He's not getting 20 sacks.
- 1:17:11[SPEAKER_02]: Bosa is not getting 20 sacks.
- 1:17:13[SPEAKER_02]: That'd be awesome.
- 1:17:14[SPEAKER_02]: Niners will get over 20 sacks, which is sad that we have to kind of comment on that.
- 1:17:20[SPEAKER_03]: The Niners don't get 20 sacks.
- 1:17:22[SPEAKER_03]: Oh my god.
- 1:17:23[SPEAKER_03]: Stephens says, which season award is most likely for us this year.
- 1:17:28[SPEAKER_03]: Which season award?
- 1:17:30[SPEAKER_02]: Come back player the year goes to Fred Warner.
- 1:17:34[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know that's a team award,
- 1:17:38[SPEAKER_03]: Um, I'll go MVP goes to Perti.
- 1:17:40[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, I mean, I know that's a big, that's a big, it's a tall ask, but let's be honest about this, Brock Perti.
- 1:17:51[SPEAKER_03]: has never, I mean, last year, when I watched the Niners Seattle Playoff game John, that was the least separation I've ever seen from wide receivers, from defensive backs.
- 1:18:01[SPEAKER_03]: Now you've had all these guys with 4-3 speed and my Kevin's, Brock Prody, every time I watch him, seems to get a little bit better.
- 1:18:09[SPEAKER_03]: and if he's healthy now and the elbows healthy and he's got a better receiving core and he's got more separation.
- 1:18:14[SPEAKER_03]: I think I think the numbers show that he can dot you down the field and be very accurate and he's never operated with this many receivers that have this kind of separation capability.
- 1:18:26[SPEAKER_03]: So I like Brock to really thrive this year.
- 1:18:29[SPEAKER_03]: I think he's going to take off.
- 1:18:31[SPEAKER_03]: All right.
- 1:18:31[SPEAKER_03]: That's going to do it for us.
- 1:18:32[SPEAKER_03]: Thanks to John.
- 1:18:33[SPEAKER_03]: Thanks to all of you.
- 1:18:34[SPEAKER_03]: Thanks to the sponsors.
- 1:18:36[SPEAKER_03]: John, once again, tell people if they want to follow you on the travel front and hang with you in Atlanta, in Australia, in Mexico City, in Dallas, Texas.
- 1:18:47[SPEAKER_03]: Tell them where is the best place to connect with you if they want to travel.
- 1:18:53[SPEAKER_02]: 49ers rush road trip.com.
