- 0:18Speaker 2: The Woody Show.
- 0:20Speaker 1: This is The Woody Show.
- 0:26Speaker 3: Insensitivity training.
- 0:37Speaker 1: Class is now in session. Good morning, everybody.
- 0:47Speaker 4: Good morning.
- 0:49Speaker 1: Well, it is a brand new week. Here we are.
- 0:52Speaker 1: It is Monday. It is October the 12th, 2026. My
- 0:57Speaker 1: name is Woody. That is Greg Gorey. Hi. Let's see.
- 1:00Speaker 1: We got Menace right there.
- 1:02Speaker 5: What is up?
- 1:02Speaker 6: Hi.
- 1:02Speaker 1: Hello, Menace. What is up? What's going on? We got
- 1:05Speaker 1: Gina Grad.
- 1:05Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:06Speaker 1: Hi, Gina.
- 1:07Speaker 7: Hi.
- 1:07Speaker 1: There is Seabass.
- 1:09Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:10Speaker 1: We got Sammy.
- 1:10Speaker 8: Sammy.
- 1:11Speaker 1: I would ask Seabass how he's doing, but he hates
- 1:13Speaker 1: that small talk, you know? It's good. It's a waste
- 1:16Speaker 1: of time. Thank you for saying that.
- 1:17Speaker 4: I'm glad you're all coached up on that.
- 1:18Speaker 1: Yeah, so I'm like, you know what? Forget it.
- 1:21Speaker 9: Speaking of which, would you guys like to perhaps refresh
- 1:24Speaker 9: some of the newer cast members about our policy on
- 1:26Speaker 9: Bless You After Sneezing?
- 1:28Speaker 1: Well, that's your policy. You can talk to him about that.
- 1:32Speaker 1: All right. I know he's.
- 1:34Speaker 5: Referring to me.
- 1:34Speaker 1: That's your old policy.
- 1:36Speaker 7: Oh, did you have the audacity?
- 1:38Speaker 10: Yeah. Okay.
- 1:39Speaker 1: Well, we're not going to go into why that's not
- 1:42Speaker 1: actually nice. It's just a waste of time. But I
- 1:44Speaker 1: just want to let Jeff G. know he can save
- 1:45Speaker 1: himself some time and effort by just ignoring it.
- 1:48Speaker 4: I saw online that the reason we say bless you
- 1:50Speaker 4: is because back in the old olden timey days, that
- 1:53Speaker 4: meant you were going to die because it was probably
- 1:54Speaker 4: the plague. And so they were blessing you on your.
- 1:56Speaker 7: Way to dying.
- 1:57Speaker 1: That was, yeah, perhaps that's one. Yeah, perhaps. That's one
- 2:00Speaker 1: version that's been out there. Needless to say, not necessarily
- 2:03Speaker 1: in modern times.
- 2:04Speaker 4: Basically, you're wishing death on people.
- 2:05Speaker 1: Jeff, think of all the time you're going to spend.
- 2:07Speaker 5: Yeah, and those milliseconds, Greg, at the end of the day.
- 2:10Speaker 4: All the brain power.
- 2:11Speaker 1: There's Jeff G. Hi, Jeff G. Hi, how are you?
- 2:13Speaker 1: I hope you had a great weekend.
- 2:15Speaker 6: Yeah, thanks, man.
- 2:15Speaker 1: All right, there's Vaughn. He's our video producer. We got Morgan,
- 2:19Speaker 1: our associate producer. Bort is here. Menji's here. Phones are open.
- 2:22Speaker 2: 877-44-WOODY.
- 2:25Speaker 1: You can send us a text. You can do that
- 2:27Speaker 1: over to 22987. We'll get to the birthdays and the
- 2:30Speaker 1: porno birthday here in just a second. But guys. Every day,
- 2:33Speaker 1: 69 News is covering what's happening right now. Nice.
- 2:36Speaker 7: Hot.
- 2:37Speaker 1: From the 69 Newsroom. I got this story. A Philadelphia
- 2:45Speaker 1: man proposed to his girlfriend after their car was caught
- 2:49Speaker 1: up in a big pileup on a bridge in South Carolina.
- 2:54Speaker 1: Kevin Casa and Megan Quinn, they were headed south for
- 2:58Speaker 1: a vacation when thick fog helped trigger a crash on
- 3:02Speaker 1: Interstate 95. He had planned to propose the following day,
- 3:05Speaker 1: but decided right there it might never be another moment
- 3:08Speaker 1: quite like this one. So he went for it. And
- 3:11Speaker 1: that's where he proposed. And the question here is, it's
- 3:16Speaker 1: a big, big pileup, a lot of cars. How many
- 3:18Speaker 1: cars were involved in this pileup? It had to be
- 3:22Speaker 1: a romantic number. We know. Yeah, romantic number. That's a
- 3:25Speaker 1: good clue. Romantic number. Because, yeah, they're proposing.
- 3:28Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 3:28Speaker 6: 187.
- 3:28Speaker 1: 69.
- 3:28Speaker 12: 69. Yeah.
- 3:35Speaker 1: My 69, dog. Jeez.
- 3:38Speaker 4: That is not the time to propose. There's a lot
- 3:40Speaker 4: of hurt people.
- 3:42Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 3:42Speaker 4: A lot of bashed up cars.
- 3:44Speaker 1: Victor Mature. You know what I'm saying, Menace?
- 3:47Speaker 7: I feel you.
- 3:47Speaker 1: Yeah, you feel me, dog?
- 3:49Speaker 10: 69.
- 3:49Speaker 7: Yeah, it's hot.
- 3:51Speaker 1: It is hot. Today, by the way, is Columbus Day.
- 3:55Speaker 1: Some people call it Indigenous Peoples Day.
- 3:57Speaker 7: Oh, it is Columbus Day?
- 3:59Speaker 1: Yeah. I did get a, I got an email from
- 4:02Speaker 1: a credit union that I belong to, and they said,
- 4:05Speaker 1: we are closed today. And they identified it as Columbus Day,
- 4:08Speaker 1: which I was surprised.
- 4:09Speaker 7: It's back?
- 4:10Speaker 1: Well, I mean.
- 4:11Speaker 4: For some, it never left.
- 4:12Speaker 1: For some, it never left.
- 4:12Speaker 8: Right.
- 4:13Speaker 1: Yeah. It's all people who live in a certain city
- 4:14Speaker 1: in Ohio, what today is. Today is Columbus Day.
- 4:18Speaker 11: Yes.
- 4:19Speaker 8: Yes.
- 4:19Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 4:19Speaker 1: In Columbus, Ohio, especially. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. It's New
- 4:22Speaker 1: York City. Today is Columbus Day.
- 4:23Speaker 4: Although, for Greg, you're into semantics like I am and
- 4:27Speaker 4: grammar and stuff. How do you discover a land that
- 4:30Speaker 4: is already being lived on?
- 4:32Speaker 6: Uh.
- 4:33Speaker 1: What?
- 4:34Speaker 4: Like he discovered America, but there were already people in America.
- 4:37Speaker 1: Well, that's been the debate for.
- 4:38Speaker 4: We just have to come up with another name.
- 4:40Speaker 1: Since 1492, right?
- 4:41Speaker 4: We just have to call it something else besides discover.
- 4:43Speaker 1: Besides discover.
- 4:44Speaker 7: The Vikings already been up in America way before.
- 4:48Speaker 1: By the way, the Simpsons discovered it first.
- 4:50Speaker 10: Getting. Right.
- 4:51Speaker 1: I think the way to say it is he discovered
- 4:52Speaker 1: it for a large population.
- 4:54Speaker 12: True.
- 4:55Speaker 1: For the rest of us. It's World Arthritis Day. Today's
- 4:59Speaker 1: Farmer's Day. It is Harry Potter Book Day. No, thank you.
- 5:03Speaker 1: Today is Hispanic Day. Today is National Kick Butt Day.
- 5:08Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 5:09Speaker 1: Sweet. Kick his ass, Seabass. Oh, just butt. Greg, today
- 5:12Speaker 1: is National Free Thought Day. Free thought? Instead of the
- 5:16Speaker 1: other days. As opposed to group thought, which Greg gets,
- 5:19Speaker 1: you know, you do get enough grief. Because you're sometimes
- 5:23Speaker 1: labeled a bad gay. Yeah, because you can't think for yourself.
- 5:25Speaker 1: Because you don't toe the line. A couple of the
- 5:28Speaker 1: food holidays today is National Gumbo Day.
- 5:30Speaker 4: Oh, you love gumbo.
- 5:32Speaker 1: Dude, I love me some gumbo.
- 5:34Speaker 4: You go on like full gumbo journeys.
- 5:36Speaker 1: Well, when I was in New Orleans, right, and we
- 5:39Speaker 1: were there for a handful of days, I made sure
- 5:41Speaker 1: to every place that we went. I got some of
- 5:44Speaker 1: the jambalaya and I got some of the gumbo. Yeah.
- 5:46Speaker 1: I would order both. And I had it all, because
- 5:48Speaker 1: I wanted to try all the different... You had a mission. Yeah,
- 5:50Speaker 1: just to see which one. Dude, what's that place called?
- 5:52Speaker 1: Luisa on the Tracks? Lajusa's. Lajusa's on the track? Man,
- 5:56Speaker 1: that place was so good. Don't ask me how to
- 5:57Speaker 1: spell it.
- 5:58Speaker 4: It's like, yeah, Luisa.
- 6:00Speaker 1: It's right off the park where they have their big
- 6:02Speaker 1: jazz fest every year. Yeah, the horse race track. Yeah,
- 6:05Speaker 1: that place was so good. They had a house. Yeah,
- 6:07Speaker 1: they had a person there. Their only job was to
- 6:09Speaker 1: show up and make the... The gumbo and the jambalaya.
- 6:13Speaker 5: Straight up butter.
- 6:14Speaker 9: Not to ruin gumbo for Woody and Menace, but it
- 6:17Speaker 9: does come from the- Don't tell me. But it comes
- 6:18Speaker 9: from the West African word for okra.
- 6:21Speaker 1: Oh, I like, you know what? I like okra.
- 6:22Speaker 4: Okra's good in gumbo.
- 6:23Speaker 1: I don't even know what okra is. Oh, dude, when
- 6:25Speaker 1: I lived in Alabama- Oh, I thought it was a
- 6:27Speaker 1: furniture piece. When I- When I lived in Alabama, I
- 6:32Speaker 1: lived in Alabama for about nine months. And dude, I
- 6:34Speaker 1: ate so much okra for the rest of my life.
- 6:37Speaker 1: Fried okra's great.
- 6:38Speaker 13: It is.
- 6:38Speaker 4: It can be a little slimy when you're cooking it.
- 6:40Speaker 4: I think it's weird.
- 6:41Speaker 1: And it's technically a fruit because it's got seeds in it.
- 6:43Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 6:44Speaker 1: It's got seeds and it's cute. It's shaped like a
- 6:46Speaker 1: little star when you cut it. Interesting shape. Yeah, all right.
- 6:50Speaker 1: Time for your Monday birthdays and your porno birthday. And
- 6:57Speaker 1: we'll start with the celebrities. Happy birthday to Hugh Jackman.
- 7:08Speaker 1: Hugh Jackman is 58 years old today. Kirk Cameron from
- 7:12Speaker 1: Growing Pains, 56 years old. I thought he died.
- 7:16Speaker 14: No, he's super Christian.
- 7:17Speaker 7: Yeah, he's making Jesus films.
- 7:18Speaker 4: Yeah, he doesn't die.
- 7:19Speaker 1: No, he didn't die. He's super Christian. And James Van
- 7:23Speaker 1: Der Beek wasn't? Thank you. Josh Hutcherson, The Hunger Games.
- 7:28Speaker 4: Oh, yeah.
- 7:29Speaker 1: 34 years old. Did you guys watch Shameless? I've not
- 7:32Speaker 1: watched Shameless. I'm told that I need to watch that show.
- 7:35Speaker 1: I've seen it.
- 7:36Speaker 4: Yeah, I didn't get into it.
- 7:37Speaker 1: I was told that I would love it, and yeah.
- 7:38Speaker 1: It goes nowhere. He played Frank Gallagher in Shameless. His
- 7:43Speaker 1: name is David Theronfall. He is 73 years old. Tyler
- 7:47Speaker 1: Blackburn from Pretty Little Liars. 40 years old today. You
- 7:51Speaker 1: know who that is?
- 7:52Speaker 12: I do, yeah.
- 7:53Speaker 1: Pretty Little Liars, of course.
- 7:54Speaker 13: Yes, he dated the girl Hannah on the show. And
- 7:56Speaker 13: then he had his own spin-off series.
- 7:58Speaker 14: The Raven One, but that didn't last.
- 8:00Speaker 12: But it was cool.
- 8:00Speaker 14: It was like a creepy kind of, yeah, with an mortuary.
- 8:03Speaker 10: It was good.
- 8:04Speaker 1: Seabass, do you know Lena Paul? Lena Paul? Does she
- 8:07Speaker 1: go by another name? Nope. Lena Paul. L-E-N-A-P-A-U-L. I don't
- 8:11Speaker 1: think I do. Today's birthday girl. She's done more screwing
- 8:13Speaker 1: than the drywall installer.
- 8:15Speaker 13: No.
- 8:15Speaker 1: 737 fine films, including Drilling Hotties, Volume 1. She probably
- 8:20Speaker 1: does go by a different name than that. She was
- 8:22Speaker 1: on Dusting Off Dat Ass. Yeah. Dirty Hours in the Shower. Yeah.
- 8:27Speaker 10: All right.
- 8:28Speaker 1: She was in Balling with Big Breasts. Doggy with the
- 8:31Speaker 1: College Dean. She was in How to Suck Seed in Business,
- 8:35Speaker 1: Volume 1.
- 8:39Speaker 4: That's a good one.
- 8:39Speaker 1: She was in Naturally Stacked Lesbians. Now, how could you
- 8:43Speaker 1: stack some lesbians? That's how we do some 69. Oh,
- 8:46Speaker 1: that's how. We're kind of like shoes in a box. Yes.
- 8:51Speaker 1: Heel to toe.
- 8:52Speaker 4: The other way, yeah.
- 8:53Speaker 1: And then who can forget her unforgettable role in Dildo
- 8:58Speaker 1: Focus Group Starts Threesome. I mean, that would do it. Sorry.
- 9:03Speaker 1: Dildo Focus Group Starts Threesome. That's Lena Paul, who's 33
- 9:07Speaker 1: years old today. And that is your porno birthday and
- 9:10Speaker 1: your celebrity birthdays here on this Monday. It is The

- 9:59Speaker 11: The Woody Show.
- 10:00Speaker 1: All right. Cheers and jeers. We'll start with you, Gina Grad.
- 10:05Speaker 4: Well, I'll start with my jeers. You know how all
- 10:08Speaker 4: the news comes up on my refrigerator now? So I'm
- 10:10Speaker 4: really only familiar with fridge news. The saddest headline came
- 10:14Speaker 4: up on my fridge and I can't stop thinking about it.
- 10:17Speaker 4: This 86-year-old woman was hit and killed by a car
- 10:20Speaker 4: when she was trying to help her dog who also
- 10:22Speaker 4: got hit by a car.
- 10:23Speaker 13: Oh.
- 10:24Speaker 4: She ran over while she was helping her dog in
- 10:27Speaker 4: the street who got hit by a car by some
- 10:29Speaker 4: 70-year-old chick who wasn't paying attention.
- 10:31Speaker 1: How's the dog? That's how I want it to go.
- 10:34Speaker 1: I've told you.
- 10:36Speaker 4: Hit by a car?
- 10:37Speaker 1: No, I'm saying when she goes, I go. Oh, that's right.
- 10:39Speaker 1: That actually would be perfect for you. We have a
- 10:41Speaker 1: suicide pact.
- 10:42Speaker 4: You know what? That actually is a cheers. Yeah. Now
- 10:44Speaker 4: that I think about it.
- 10:45Speaker 1: That's great news.
- 10:46Speaker 4: Yeah, that bummed me out. But the cheers was I
- 10:49Speaker 4: spent the whole day with my friend, you know, Brian Bishop,
- 10:51Speaker 4: my late co-host and friend from The Adam Carolla Show.
- 10:54Speaker 4: I spent the whole day with his wife and daughter
- 10:56Speaker 4: and they came over and the kids just took off
- 10:58Speaker 4: playing and we got to just sit around and tell,
- 11:00Speaker 4: you know, nice and funny stories about Brian. And I
- 11:03Speaker 4: don't know if I'm really allowed to say this, but
- 11:04Speaker 4: I'm going to say it anyway. Some pretty funny news, actually.
- 11:07Speaker 4: Instead of a memorial, Brian always wanted to be roasted,
- 11:10Speaker 4: like a regular, real roast. And instead of a memorial,
- 11:13Speaker 4: there's going to be a public roast of him with
- 11:14Speaker 4: comedians and stuff. And that'll be coming up. So that's
- 11:17Speaker 4: going to be really fun. So yeah, that's what's going on.
- 11:21Speaker 1: That's different. Menace, cheers and jeers.
- 11:23Speaker 7: Well, cheers just to nice people, man. I just went
- 11:27Speaker 7: to a broadcasting ceremony thing, and It was probably like
- 11:33Speaker 7: 500 people there. And so many people had nice things
- 11:36Speaker 7: to say about us. And these are people like I
- 11:38Speaker 7: haven't seen in like 15 years. And they're just like,
- 11:42Speaker 7: I didn't even realize they were even paying attention to
- 11:44Speaker 7: the show or anything that we're doing. And everybody was
- 11:47Speaker 7: just like, so cool.
- 11:49Speaker 1: There's a lot of people in the industry outside of
- 11:51Speaker 1: this building.
- 11:51Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, for sure.
- 11:53Speaker 5: That's what I told you.
- 11:54Speaker 7: I was shocked.
- 11:55Speaker 1: It's a real eye-opener. Jeff and I witnessed it when
- 11:59Speaker 1: we went to Cleveland for a radio convention thing. And
- 12:02Speaker 1: I was in Nashville earlier in the year for another
- 12:05Speaker 1: radio thing. Yeah. And you get sucked into what happens
- 12:08Speaker 1: around here where nobody's paying attention.
- 12:11Speaker 7: No one's paying attention. You get crapped on constantly, but
- 12:13Speaker 7: then you go.
- 12:14Speaker 1: There and everyone's name.
- 12:15Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 12:18Speaker 7: So nice and cool. And I just, I just couldn't
- 12:20Speaker 7: believe it. And then, uh, later that day, uh, I,
- 12:24Speaker 7: I left that convention. I went to a music festival
- 12:27Speaker 7: and I got kind of dropped off in an area
- 12:29Speaker 7: where it was like hard to get Ubers. And I
- 12:32Speaker 7: saw this Uber driver, uh, And I said, Hey man,
- 12:34Speaker 7: can I like request you? Or can I just like
- 12:36Speaker 7: Venmo you some money to, so I can get over
- 12:39Speaker 7: to the festival. He's like, ah, it's just down the street.
- 12:42Speaker 7: I'll just drive you. And he goes, I won't charge you.
- 12:46Speaker 4: I go, what? I've never heard that before.
- 12:48Speaker 7: This is like an Uber black. He had like a
- 12:50Speaker 7: brand new, like escalating. It's like, Yeah, no big deal.
- 12:53Speaker 7: It's like, it's just too much of a pain. He goes,
- 12:56Speaker 7: I'll just take you. So he just took me and
- 12:58Speaker 7: dropped me off in the middle of festival. And it
- 13:00Speaker 7: was like super cool. I'm like, dude, shout out to
- 13:01Speaker 7: nice people, man. It was really, really cool. My only
- 13:05Speaker 7: cheers was, is like when I was doing all my traveling,
- 13:08Speaker 7: there was like, uh, you know, obviously a lot of
- 13:10Speaker 7: weather throughout the country that was just like messing up
- 13:12Speaker 7: travel and just like canceling different events and things. And
- 13:16Speaker 7: I was supposed to like travel to go do that
- 13:18Speaker 7: surf ranch thing with one of the listeners. And we're
- 13:20Speaker 7: going to have to reschedule because it, got canceled due
- 13:23Speaker 7: to weather. But it's fine because everybody's still on board
- 13:27Speaker 7: to go do it and we'll figure it out. So
- 13:30Speaker 7: that's my only cheers.
- 13:31Speaker 1: All right, Sammy, cheers and jeers. My cheers.
- 13:35Speaker 14: Is to rummage sales. I've never, I know, but I've
- 13:39Speaker 14: never been to.
- 13:42Speaker 1: I think the word rummage is what makes it sound
- 13:45Speaker 1: super old.
- 13:46Speaker 5: Is that a garage sale?
- 13:47Speaker 13: No, it's, I mean, I've never been to a rummage
- 13:50Speaker 13: sale before. So it was because they're basically for charity, right?
- 13:54Speaker 13: So they collect stuff from everybody who's supporting their charity
- 13:58Speaker 13: and And it was for a theater too. It was
- 14:00Speaker 13: a nonprofit, just local theater. So they had like kind
- 14:03Speaker 13: of props that they had used for their performances and stuff.
- 14:06Speaker 13: And then plus people donated stuff. So it's a ton
- 14:09Speaker 13: of stuff.
- 14:09Speaker 14: It is like a giant garage sale, but they're just
- 14:12Speaker 14: raising money. So it was the best.
- 14:15Speaker 13: Everything was so cheap because it's not even, it's cheaper
- 14:18Speaker 13: than Goodwill. Like there's no overhead and it's not someone's
- 14:21Speaker 13: personal item too, where they're going to haggle with you
- 14:23Speaker 13: over stuff or this is the, I mean, yeah. They
- 14:25Speaker 13: were practically giving stuff away.
- 14:28Speaker 14: Everything was so cheap.
- 14:29Speaker 13: I had never experienced anything like that before in my life.
- 14:33Speaker 14: It ruled.
- 14:34Speaker 1: So I looked up difference between rummage sale and garage sale.
- 14:37Speaker 1: And what she's saying is true. So rummage sale, church, school, charity,
- 14:41Speaker 1: community group, garage sale, individual or family and location. Obviously,
- 14:46Speaker 1: like it's at somebody's house. This is usually like a.
- 14:48Speaker 1: school or a community center or something like that. And then,
- 14:52Speaker 1: you know, the purpose is often for rummage sale, fundraising.
- 14:55Speaker 15: Yes.
- 14:55Speaker 1: I always thought it was just like another thing you said.
- 14:58Speaker 1: Like an antique mart or whatever. Yeah, well, pop soda.
- 15:02Speaker 1: It's the same thing, right? But you could say garage sale,
- 15:04Speaker 1: rummage sale.
- 15:05Speaker 4: When's the last time you used the word plumage?
- 15:07Speaker 5: What's the difference?
- 15:08Speaker 16: A state sale is when someone dies and they have
- 15:11Speaker 16: all their crap in their house.
- 15:12Speaker 5: And you basically walk through.
- 15:14Speaker 1: And you can buy stuff.
- 15:16Speaker 17: But if the things are so cheap that they're basically
- 15:18Speaker 17: giving them away, it sounds like a bunch of garbage
- 15:21Speaker 17: that people are saying, please.
- 15:22Speaker 7: Please just probably no it's for donations.
- 15:25Speaker 13: Yeah it's for donations and so they're not personally attached
- 15:28Speaker 13: to it really in any way and they also don't
- 15:30Speaker 13: have an overhead they're just raising money and selling stuff
- 15:32Speaker 13: and and i got a bunch of stuff that's gonna
- 15:35Speaker 13: be for christmas because we're gonna have a lot of
- 15:37Speaker 13: people at christmas this year so mostly just serving where
- 15:39Speaker 13: i got 10 platters for like i mean serving like
- 15:43Speaker 13: stainless steel like serving platters for like under $ 30.
- 15:47Speaker 14: I got 10 of them.
- 15:48Speaker 4: Wow.
- 15:49Speaker 13: And cheers to baking soda, by the way, because that
- 15:52Speaker 13: stuff rules to clean everything.
- 15:54Speaker 14: I cleaned it all with baking soda. Everything came right off.
- 15:57Speaker 4: It's amazing. I couldn't even believe it.
- 15:59Speaker 13: And I got other like giant bowls and stuff that
- 16:01Speaker 13: we're going to need and how cheap everything was. It
- 16:04Speaker 13: would have, the price that I got 10 platters and
- 16:08Speaker 13: probably seven like serving rare bowls for, it would have
- 16:11Speaker 13: been the cost of one bowl.
- 16:12Speaker 1: You know, I'm conflicted because while everything she says is
- 16:15Speaker 1: so boring, right? Like I imagine like, but I also
- 16:19Speaker 1: appreciate how much passion and like genuine. interest and love
- 16:23Speaker 1: she has for it. So, while it's not my thing,
- 16:26Speaker 1: I can't ever imagine getting that excited about, like, the
- 16:31Speaker 1: way she describes it. But at the same time, like,
- 16:33Speaker 1: I appreciate, like, I love anybody who's passionate about whatever
- 16:37Speaker 1: they do for a living. Like, people who are, like,
- 16:38Speaker 1: really into, or whatever their hobby is, really into whatever. Like,
- 16:42Speaker 1: I can appreciate that, but at the same time, I'm
- 16:43Speaker 1: here and I'm going, wow it's like when kids show
- 16:46Speaker 1: you their artwork i want to be excited for her
- 16:51Speaker 1: right because she's a friend and yeah she's very excited
- 16:55Speaker 1: about how the baking soda got all this stuff serving.
- 17:00Speaker 7: Platters yeah the way she talks about it it sounds
- 17:02Speaker 7: so lit.
- 17:03Speaker 1: But she found a million dollars yeah it sounds lit
- 17:05Speaker 1: you're right.
- 17:06Speaker 13: Yeah it's so satisfying to take something that you.
- 17:08Speaker 14: Get number one a great I was already in the.
- 17:10Speaker 13: Market for all this stuff, and I was just walking
- 17:14Speaker 13: my dog in my regular neighborhood and saw this theater
- 17:18Speaker 13: that I had been by a million times having a
- 17:20Speaker 13: rummage sale.
- 17:21Speaker 14: So I thought, okay, I've never been to a rummage sale.
- 17:23Speaker 4: I'll walk in.
- 17:24Speaker 14: I'm walking by anyways, and it ruled.
- 17:26Speaker 1: So did you end up having, because you're on a
- 17:27Speaker 1: walk with your dog. How did you get all this stuff?
- 17:29Speaker 1: Did you have to call Steamboat Willie to come pick
- 17:32Speaker 1: you up and bring the car to come get all
- 17:34Speaker 1: this crap?
- 17:35Speaker 14: I had driven to that area, so I did have
- 17:36Speaker 14: to walk. to go on the walk. So I did
- 17:39Speaker 14: carry the stuff back.
- 17:40Speaker 7: I know she was.
- 17:41Speaker 10: Yes.
- 17:42Speaker 14: But we went back the next day. Cause I, cause
- 17:45Speaker 14: when I was leaving, what?
- 17:47Speaker 7: No, no. I was going to wait until after you
- 17:49Speaker 7: were done, but I was going to say is the
- 17:51Speaker 7: area that she went to is her old neighborhood. She's
- 17:53Speaker 7: so attached to her old neighborhood.
- 17:55Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 17:57Speaker 7: Do you not like where you live?
- 17:59Speaker 1: I don't think she does.
- 18:00Speaker 7: She keeps on going back to the old neighborhood.
- 18:02Speaker 1: She keeps telling stories. From her old neighborhood.
- 18:04Speaker 14: It's my favorite area.
- 18:05Speaker 1: It's not like it's neighboring.
- 18:07Speaker 4: Not even close.
- 18:09Speaker 1: It's a destination. You definitely have to drive. It has
- 18:11Speaker 1: to be with intention and purpose that she goes there.
- 18:14Speaker 4: No, I love it.
- 18:16Speaker 1: That's a great way to get really acclimated to your
- 18:19Speaker 1: new area.
- 18:20Speaker 4: Stay out of it as much as possible.
- 18:22Speaker 1: Really integrate.
- 18:23Speaker 13: Again, because it's a rummage sale, I carried the stuff
- 18:26Speaker 13: back to the car I go home, but to Steamboat Willie,
- 18:28Speaker 13: I was like, man, I really think we should go
- 18:30Speaker 13: back tomorrow. There's more stuff I'm thinking about. And the
- 18:32Speaker 13: lady had told me we might even have some more
- 18:34Speaker 13: stuff tomorrow.
- 18:35Speaker 4: I'm like, we got to go.
- 18:36Speaker 13: So we went in a bowl that I had wanted
- 18:38Speaker 13: already 50% off by the time I got there the
- 18:40Speaker 13: next day. And then we went, we got a bunch
- 18:42Speaker 13: of stuff, went grocery shopping.
- 18:44Speaker 14: And there was another bowl. I was like, you know what?
- 18:46Speaker 14: I just need to go get these bowls. Went back
- 18:48Speaker 14: and everything had dropped like 75% by then too.
- 18:50Speaker 12: So it was even cheaper.
- 18:52Speaker 4: Did they make any money for the theater?
- 18:53Speaker 1: No. Because as time goes on, it's like when they're
- 18:56Speaker 1: doing like a, you know, going out of business sale.
- 18:58Speaker 4: Yeah, everything must go.
- 19:00Speaker 1: Because all the stuff that people really want goes first, right?
- 19:02Speaker 1: So the longer the other stuff sits there, the less
- 19:05Speaker 1: chance of that actually getting picked up. So they keep
- 19:06Speaker 1: making it more and more cheap.
- 19:09Speaker 10: Yes.
- 19:09Speaker 1: Yeah. Well, they don't want to carry it all back.
- 19:11Speaker 4: Correct.
- 19:12Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 19:13Speaker 17: I mean, I've been to some estate sales where you
- 19:15Speaker 17: have to basically get a reservation because the day one and.
- 19:18Speaker 1: The first hour, it's the best stuff.
- 19:20Speaker 6: Right.
- 19:21Speaker 17: Because if somebody dies and they have or like nice stuff.
- 19:26Speaker 1: Right.
- 19:27Speaker 17: But some of these estate sales, they think they're retail stores.
- 19:30Speaker 17: It's crazy expensive.
- 19:32Speaker 13: And that's the thing is that a lot of people
- 19:33Speaker 13: too going to estate sales and stuff like that are
- 19:36Speaker 13: people who resell stuff.
- 19:37Speaker 14: So they're looking for the great deals.
- 19:39Speaker 1: Yes, Jeff G.
- 19:40Speaker 16: I can't think of the last time I was ever
- 19:42Speaker 16: excited about anything.
- 19:43Speaker 1: Anything.
- 19:44Speaker 5: Like, she's excited about this. Like, she's so excited about this.
- 19:48Speaker 1: You ever see those memes like, I just want somebody
- 19:49Speaker 1: to look at this. at me the way that Greg
- 19:50Speaker 1: looks at, you know. Exactly. That's how I.
- 19:53Speaker 5: Feel right now. I'm like, damn, I have never been
- 19:54Speaker 5: this excited about something.
- 19:55Speaker 1: Oh, man.
- 19:56Speaker 4: The way Greg looks at a maid bed.
- 19:57Speaker 1: And you're a father. Yeah. I was just thinking about, like,
- 20:00Speaker 1: Steamboat Willie. And she comes home all horny for the
- 20:03Speaker 1: rummage sale.
- 20:04Speaker 10: Is he.
- 20:07Speaker 1: Is he annoyed?
- 20:09Speaker 14: No, he likes this stuff too.
- 20:10Speaker 1: He does?
- 20:10Speaker 12: Yes.
- 20:11Speaker 1: Okay. We love hunting for a great deal. This is
- 20:13Speaker 1: one of those tests, you know what I mean? Because
- 20:15Speaker 1: they were dating and now they're living together.
- 20:17Speaker 17: They share the love of platters.
- 20:19Speaker 1: Yeah, like, oh my God. She came home and she's
- 20:22Speaker 1: like going off about it. Now I got to get
- 20:23Speaker 1: in the car and go back to this rummage sale.
- 20:26Speaker 5: Oh, I'd be so pissed.
- 20:27Speaker 4: Yeah, I know.
- 20:28Speaker 7: Shut the F up about some bowl that she wants.
- 20:31Speaker 7: She's going to watch football. Well, you know those cat guys.
- 20:34Speaker 7: They like antiquing, so it's all good.
- 20:37Speaker 1: See, and, you know, Greg, I know you got into
- 20:39Speaker 1: the antiquing and some of these other states. I'm kind
- 20:42Speaker 1: of surprised because I think you and I are more
- 20:44Speaker 1: aligned than not on most things. I don't want, if
- 20:49Speaker 1: I know that it previously belonged to somebody else, like
- 20:52Speaker 1: I'm not, it reduces my interest.
- 20:54Speaker 4: You don't want the story behind it.
- 20:56Speaker 1: No, I don't want somebody else's stuff. I'd rather get
- 20:58Speaker 1: that same thing, brand new. I don't want your old stuff.
- 21:03Speaker 1: pot i get what you're saying you know what i
- 21:04Speaker 1: mean i want i like i'd rather go find one
- 21:07Speaker 1: that looks exactly the same and buy the new version
- 21:09Speaker 1: by the retail for full.
- 21:10Speaker 14: Price speaking of pots that leads me to my cheers.
- 21:12Speaker 1: I know i have.
- 21:13Speaker 17: Something to say go for it no i was thinking
- 21:16Speaker 17: the same thing woody like if it comes to like
- 21:18Speaker 17: artwork or something you just look at fine if it's
- 21:20Speaker 17: an antique nothing to eat out of but the most
- 21:23Speaker 17: recent thing i bought at an estate sale was a
- 21:27Speaker 17: uh like a dutch oven.
- 21:28Speaker 1: Because those things retail are so expensive. They wanted like $ 40. Yeah.
- 21:34Speaker 14: And cleaning them up is so satisfying, too. You might
- 21:36Speaker 14: get it and it's a little dirty.
- 21:37Speaker 12: Tell me, girlfriend.
- 21:37Speaker 1: And you clean it and you're like, hell yeah. Now, Menace,
- 21:39Speaker 1: do you know what a Dutch oven is?
- 21:41Speaker 7: Yeah, it's the blanket thing, right?
- 21:43Speaker 1: Nope. I mean, yes, but no.
- 21:47Speaker 7: What is an actual Dutch oven? Is it that, Sammy,
- 21:50Speaker 7: I told you about this. My mom and my aunt
- 21:53Speaker 7: and other people in my family, they're obsessed with the
- 21:55Speaker 7: wood-burning stove. a stove thing is that a dutch no no.
- 22:00Speaker 1: No it's basically like a heavy like a ceramic ceramic
- 22:03Speaker 1: almost like a giant pot like you have a stew
- 22:06Speaker 1: in right okay right it's got a big super heavy
- 22:08Speaker 1: lid that's got that that little handle.
- 22:10Speaker 17: Knob on the top no no but you can put
- 22:13Speaker 17: it either on the stove or in the oven okay Yeah,
- 22:16Speaker 17: they're awesome.
- 22:16Speaker 1: And if they're brand new, they're crazy expensive. So expensive.
- 22:20Speaker 7: Hundreds of dollars.
- 22:20Speaker 1: Why? I don't know.
- 22:22Speaker 4: Because they're built to last, I think.
- 22:23Speaker 1: Yeah, because you buy one for life, basically.
- 22:25Speaker 4: You give it to your kids when you die.
- 22:27Speaker 1: Hundreds of dollars. How much is a new toilet?
- 22:31Speaker 15: A new toilet?
- 22:31Speaker 4: Oh, we just bought one.
- 22:32Speaker 1: It's like a basic toilet.
- 22:34Speaker 8: 300?
- 22:34Speaker 4: Ours was like 500, and it's not that nice.
- 22:36Speaker 1: Okay, so think about how big that is. That's ceramic, right?
- 22:39Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 22:40Speaker 1: So if the Dutch oven is also ceramic, it seems
- 22:43Speaker 1: like there'd be more... material in the toilet that's 300 bucks.
- 22:47Speaker 1: And it's way more complicated. And it's heavy.
- 22:50Speaker 4: I have to install my Dutch oven.
- 22:52Speaker 1: Goddamn Dutch oven thing. What's so special? There's no electronic
- 22:56Speaker 1: component to it. Is it made of jade? There's no
- 22:59Speaker 1: fancy design to it. See, I became a.
- 23:03Speaker 17: With this latest Dutch oven, I was a total brand
- 23:06Speaker 17: whore because it's that brand Le Creuset.
- 23:08Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 23:09Speaker 7: The best one.
- 23:09Speaker 17: And it's just the brand that you're paying for. That's
- 23:11Speaker 17: why I got it at the estate sale because I was.
- 23:13Speaker 1: Like, ooh.
- 23:14Speaker 7: That brand's always had the outlets, though.
- 23:16Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 23:17Speaker 4: But it's a fancy outlet.
- 23:18Speaker 1: Yeah, this one was even cheaper.
- 23:19Speaker 4: It's not a rummage sale.
- 23:21Speaker 1: Oh, my God. We are full HGTV right now.
- 23:26Speaker 4: We all just aged 50 years.
- 23:27Speaker 13: Really quick, my jeers is that I was finding so
- 23:30Speaker 13: much stuff at the rummer sale, and we're getting, you know,
- 23:32Speaker 13: I was going to get stuff, and there was a
- 23:33Speaker 13: giant 16-quart pot for $ 5. And I was like, oh,
- 23:37Speaker 13: hell yeah, I need a giant pot. And so I
- 23:40Speaker 13: couldn't carry everything around. I asked them to put it
- 23:43Speaker 13: on hold. They set it aside. They put a little
- 23:44Speaker 13: note on it on hold with some other stuff, and
- 23:47Speaker 13: I walked back, and it was gone.
- 23:49Speaker 11: Oh.
- 23:50Speaker 1: I know.
- 23:51Speaker 6: I know.
- 23:51Speaker 4: And so the lady who.
- 23:53Speaker 14: Put it on hold for me was like, oh, did
- 23:55Speaker 14: you put it back? I said, no, I don't know
- 23:56Speaker 14: where it is.
- 23:57Speaker 1: And she was like, what?
- 23:57Speaker 13: She stormed around asking all the employees if they saw it.
- 24:00Speaker 13: Nobody had seen it. And so somebody must have just
- 24:02Speaker 13: taken it. But even the people checking people out said,
- 24:05Speaker 13: we didn't see anyone. We didn't even check anyone out
- 24:07Speaker 13: for this item. So it just disappeared.
- 24:09Speaker 14: Someone just stole it.
- 24:11Speaker 4: It said on hold.
- 24:13Speaker 7: They didn't pay $ 5 for the pot.
- 24:17Speaker 1: You needed Menace's wagon.
- 24:19Speaker 10: Yeah. No.
- 24:19Speaker 14: But I didn't know I was going to be at
- 24:21Speaker 14: a rummer sale.
- 24:22Speaker 1: Big drama this weekend, guys. I know.
- 24:23Speaker 4: Animals.
- 24:24Speaker 1: Hot dogs.
- 24:25Speaker 5: You kicked their ass.
- 24:27Speaker 1: Any younger kids out there, maybe you're 19, 20, 22
- 24:31Speaker 1: years old, this is what you have to look forward to.
- 24:34Speaker 1: This is the ish your friends are going to talk about.
- 24:36Speaker 4: The end of the line.
- 24:38Speaker 1: When you talk to them on a Monday morning, you're like, hey, so...
- 24:41Speaker 1: What'd you do this weekend? They're going to say, I
- 24:43Speaker 1: went to a rummage sale, and they're going to give
- 24:45Speaker 1: you all the drama about how somebody got the Dutch
- 24:47Speaker 1: oven that they set aside.
- 24:49Speaker 7: Forget talking about music festivals. This is what your life
- 24:52Speaker 7: is going to be.
- 24:53Speaker 1: That's it. Or, yeah, about how drunk you got or
- 24:56Speaker 1: all the stuff that you're doing now. So enjoy your time, kids.
- 25:00Speaker 1: Baking soda.
- 25:01Speaker 4: It's coming.
- 25:02Speaker 1: This is where the road leads.
- 25:03Speaker 4: The platter's coming.
- 25:04Speaker 13: Or if you want to get some cheap stuff for
- 25:05Speaker 13: your new apartment, go to Rummage Sale.
- 25:07Speaker 15: Oh!
- 25:09Speaker 17: So a pair of nuns in Brazil didn't get along.
- 25:13Speaker 17: They were forced to work together. They ended up getting
- 25:16Speaker 17: pretty close. They both quit the convent, went lesbo for
- 25:20Speaker 17: each other, and got married.
- 25:22Speaker 8: Nice!
- 25:22Speaker 1: How about clam smacking at the convent? Fuzz bumping for Jesus.
- 25:28Speaker 1: I got it. All right, what is it? Bad habits.
- 25:30Speaker 1: Bad habits. All right, trending news headlines. Greg Gorey, what
- 25:37Speaker 1: you got?
- 25:38Speaker 17: Well, the Dodgers blew NLCS Game 1 to the Brewers 2-1.
- 25:42Speaker 17: Starting pitcher Tarek Skubal did his job, but the Dodgers
- 25:44Speaker 17: hitters grounded into three double plays, and they stranded nine runners,
- 25:48Speaker 17: and the Brewers had a clutch hit in the fifth.
- 25:50Speaker 17: That gave them the lead for good. So Dodgers get
- 25:52Speaker 17: their shot at revenge later today with Yoshinobu Yamamoto on
- 25:55Speaker 17: the mound against Logan Henderson. And by the way, the
- 25:58Speaker 17: ALCS starts today with the Guardians at Tampa Bay after
- 26:01Speaker 17: the Dodgers-Brewers game. Also, the first Atlantic hurricane of the season,
- 26:06Speaker 17: Hurricane Isaias, made landfall in western Florida as a Category 2.
- 26:11Speaker 17: And so far, five deaths are blamed on the hurricane.
- 26:14Speaker 17: You had two in Florida, two in Alabama, and one
- 26:16Speaker 17: in South Carolina. So everybody now is just starting to
- 26:19Speaker 17: process the major damage. Downhouses, roofs torn off, downed trees,
- 26:24Speaker 17: flooded road, there's debris everywhere. Hundreds of thousands are without power.
- 26:29Speaker 17: At last check, 800,000 without power. So this is going
- 26:32Speaker 17: to be a really long cleanup.
- 26:34Speaker 1: So like in these areas where the flooding and the
- 26:36Speaker 1: oceans coming in and people are like, I don't know
- 26:39Speaker 1: why you insist on driving through those flooded areas. Like
- 26:42Speaker 1: you see a lot of people doing that. Like, do
- 26:44Speaker 1: you realize how much you're tearing up your car? You've
- 26:45Speaker 1: got to take that thing to the car wash immediately. Yeah. Because,
- 26:49Speaker 1: I mean, it's ocean water. It's salt water.
- 26:51Speaker 10: Yeah, right.
- 26:51Speaker 1: It's corroding it. It's going to destroy that car. I
- 26:54Speaker 1: was just thinking about getting stuck in the water. Well,
- 26:55Speaker 1: that too, but I'm saying it's going to destroy it. Like,
- 26:57Speaker 1: there are ways. Unless your car was stuck. And you
- 27:00Speaker 1: were like trying to get it out of where the
- 27:01Speaker 1: area that it flooded in. Right, because you're already screwed.
- 27:04Speaker 1: But like, I don't know, man.
- 27:05Speaker 4: I'm going to chance it.
- 27:06Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 27:06Speaker 1: Like, I don't know why you're on purpose driving through.
- 27:11Speaker 1: You're not supposed to do that anyway. No way. You know.
- 27:14Speaker 17: I mean, I wouldn't live with menace. I'm thinking less
- 27:16Speaker 17: about the car and more about getting stuck. Getting swept away.
- 27:19Speaker 1: I find it satisfying when you see like somebody who's like, oh, no,
- 27:22Speaker 1: I could do it. They're telling everybody, stay out of
- 27:24Speaker 1: this area. But they're like, nope, I'm going to go.
- 27:25Speaker 1: And they're driving down. And all of a sudden. They're
- 27:28Speaker 1: on the road, but now they get just deep enough
- 27:30Speaker 1: where the car starts to float and the ass end
- 27:33Speaker 1: starts shifting out. You're like, well, dumbass. What have I done?
- 27:37Speaker 1: They told you don't drive through here, but nope, you
- 27:39Speaker 1: insisted on it. I can do it. I got this.
- 27:42Speaker 1: And people are like, oh, well, it doesn't matter because
- 27:44Speaker 1: I have an electric vehicle. That's even worse, man. The
- 27:47Speaker 1: salt water and the batteries and stuff. Dude, you're asking
- 27:51Speaker 1: for big problems. Well, it's always somebody who's hesitating. They
- 27:54Speaker 1: see somebody else do it, and then they think, I
- 27:56Speaker 1: can do it. It's like the same tarts who run
- 27:58Speaker 1: down to the beach when they're saying there's a hurricane.
- 28:01Speaker 7: You don't see those.
- 28:02Speaker 1: Yeah. You always see those guys. There's a hurricane blowing in,
- 28:04Speaker 1: and you got these dum-dums running down to the beach.
- 28:07Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 28:07Speaker 16: It's one thing if you're a CNN reporter and you're
- 28:09Speaker 16: getting paid to stand there in the wind. But if
- 28:11Speaker 16: you're not, stay home.
- 28:12Speaker 1: Oh, my other favorites are the ones where the reporters
- 28:14Speaker 1: are really trying to sell it. Oh, yeah. And they're
- 28:18Speaker 1: in this water, but they're kind of kneeling down to
- 28:20Speaker 1: make it look like. And then there's a person. Did
- 28:22Speaker 1: you see the person in the background just walking along?
- 28:25Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 28:27Speaker 1: I've seen a lot of, with these storms and everything,
- 28:29Speaker 1: there's been a lot of those videos that get fed
- 28:31Speaker 1: into your algorithm.
- 28:33Speaker 17: I love those too. I equate it to people who
- 28:35Speaker 17: take endless videos at concerts. Are you really going to
- 28:38Speaker 17: go home and watch that?
- 28:39Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 28:39Speaker 17: If you're just Joe Blow, you go to the beach
- 28:41Speaker 17: and you're taking videos. Videos of waves. Are you going
- 28:44Speaker 17: to go home and watch that?
- 28:45Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 28:46Speaker 1: I doubt it. If you take a video and then
- 28:47Speaker 1: you're sending somebody, hey, man, I went down to the
- 28:49Speaker 1: beach and I checked it out. Yeah, look at this. Yeah,
- 28:51Speaker 1: I guess so. Yeah, like two years from now. Is
- 28:53Speaker 1: it worth it? Yeah, not worth it.
- 28:55Speaker 17: Also, the Ravens just stole Sunday night football from the
- 28:58Speaker 17: Falcons 30-23 in overtime. No Lamar, no problem. Tyler Snoop
- 29:03Speaker 17: Huntley had two scores. And then meanwhile, the Lions beat
- 29:05Speaker 17: the Cardinals 45-21. And then on the flip side, the
- 29:09Speaker 17: biggest losers of the weekend were the Commanders. They forgot
- 29:12Speaker 17: how clocks work.
- 29:13Speaker 1: Oh, dude.
- 29:14Speaker 17: They were in field goal range until the clock died.
- 29:17Speaker 17: So it was a 27-27 tie.
- 29:20Speaker 1: With the Giants. Like, dude, he was feeling so bad. Oh, man,
- 29:26Speaker 1: I really cost the team this game. but then here
- 29:29Speaker 1: come the commanders and stupid ass. What's crazy about him, Jeff,
- 29:33Speaker 1: is that nobody really disliked Jaden Daniels until that whole
- 29:37Speaker 1: controversy about his number at, his alma mater, right?
- 29:41Speaker 5: Yeah, LSU.
- 29:42Speaker 7: He said they had to retire his jersey, and he
- 29:44Speaker 7: was only there like a year.
- 29:45Speaker 1: Wow. Yeah, right? So he... And the story I understand
- 29:49Speaker 1: on that is that is really his mom that was
- 29:52Speaker 1: pushing him to make us think about it because like
- 29:53Speaker 1: they're disrespecting you. Okay. They're disrespecting you. All right. And
- 29:57Speaker 1: so like then he went back to them when they
- 29:59Speaker 1: weren't going to retire his number and said, you know, oh, well,
- 30:03Speaker 1: you can't use my name, my likeness and any of
- 30:06Speaker 1: your stuff anymore. Like, dude, come on.
- 30:09Speaker 4: Everybody calm down.
- 30:09Speaker 1: Yeah. So then that really got everybody off board. Like
- 30:11Speaker 1: what a douchebag. And then he got injured. Right. Right.
- 30:15Speaker 1: with the elbow and now this it's like dude you're
- 30:18Speaker 1: on the ground do you have no awareness of like
- 30:22Speaker 1: what's going on you have no timeouts that you're in
- 30:24Speaker 1: field goal this is a chip shot field goal and
- 30:28Speaker 1: you're still on the ground like no everybody rushes to
- 30:30Speaker 1: the line so you can spike the ball stop the
- 30:32Speaker 1: clock that's what you're supposed to do even casual football
- 30:35Speaker 1: fans know that totally You are an NFL quarterback, and
- 30:39Speaker 1: the rest of your team is yelling at you to
- 30:41Speaker 1: get up and get to the line?
- 30:42Speaker 5: And you have a speaker in your helmet.
- 30:44Speaker 15: Yes.
- 30:44Speaker 18: Oh, you do?
- 30:45Speaker 5: People are probably yelling at you, yeah.
- 30:46Speaker 1: And if they're not, they should all be fired, too.
- 30:48Speaker 1: But the announcers couldn't believe it. They don't have a timeout.
- 30:50Speaker 1: What are they doing?
- 30:51Speaker 10: Oh, my goodness.
- 30:52Speaker 1: They've got to get up and spike it. They're not
- 30:54Speaker 1: going to be able to get this out in time.
- 30:56Speaker 12: They're not going to.
- 30:56Speaker 1: It's going to run out on them. The clock ran
- 30:59Speaker 1: out as Daniels ran the ball.
- 31:01Speaker 19: And Scataboo says, I'll take the tie and get out
- 31:04Speaker 19: of town.
- 31:06Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 31:06Speaker 4: Oh, my God. This does make the case for, like,
- 31:08Speaker 4: throwing a game for betting. You're like, what are you doing?
- 31:11Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah. You can totally see where the conspiracy theory people. Like,
- 31:17Speaker 1: how can you have so little awareness?
- 31:19Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 31:19Speaker 17: Like you said, even a casual fan knows better. We
- 31:22Speaker 17: still have three winless teams in the NFL. Jeff G's Chargers, winless.
- 31:27Speaker 17: Seabass's Titans, winless. And nobody's Miami Dolphins. Week five, we'll
- 31:32Speaker 17: wrap up tonight. Rams, Bills, Monday Night Football from SoFi Stadium.
- 31:35Speaker 1: All right, so who won between you and Morgan?
- 31:38Speaker 16: I believe I did, because I think Morgan had a
- 31:40Speaker 16: Cleveland beating the Jets, right?
- 31:42Speaker 1: Yeah, she had Jets by 14, and then Dolphins by
- 31:45Speaker 1: 14 was your pick.
- 31:47Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 31:48Speaker 7: Man, I look like.
- 31:49Speaker 1: What were the scores?
- 31:50Speaker 5: I have to get my phone out. Hold on, sorry.
- 31:53Speaker 7: I look like such an idiot, because my brother-in-law was
- 31:56Speaker 7: at my house, and he was like, oh, the.
- 31:59Speaker 7: The Jets, they're looking good. I'm like, are you high?
- 32:02Speaker 5: He's like, yeah, they're going to.
- 32:03Speaker 7: Be good in this game. I go, no way.
- 32:05Speaker 1: I think a lot of these teams are going to
- 32:07Speaker 1: come back to earth. Everybody was all over the Browns.
- 32:09Speaker 1: I think they're going to come back to the earth
- 32:11Speaker 1: and be a Cleveland that we expect them to be.
- 32:13Speaker 1: And then the Raiders. The Raiders are the other ones.
- 32:15Speaker 1: We're like, oh, guys. I'm going to say they're not
- 32:17Speaker 1: better than they were last year. There's not an improvement
- 32:20Speaker 1: in these teams. But they're like, oh, man, they're going
- 32:22Speaker 1: to the playoffs. Yeah. Looking for like a deep run.
- 32:25Speaker 15: All right.
- 32:26Speaker 1: So what do you got, Jeff?
- 32:27Speaker 16: So the Bengals beat the Dolphins 31-24 by seven. And
- 32:32Speaker 16: then the Jets beat the Cleveland Browns by five. I
- 32:36Speaker 16: think she said the Jets were going to lose by 14, right?
- 32:38Speaker 1: Right. Yeah.
- 32:39Speaker 5: Because she picked Cleveland to beat them.
- 32:41Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah.
- 32:42Speaker 5: So I won by default.
- 32:43Speaker 10: All right.
- 32:43Speaker 1: There you go, Jeff G. Congratulations.
- 32:44Speaker 5: I would have been really embarrassed if I lost.
- 32:47Speaker 1: We're the only show that does a contest and then
- 32:50Speaker 1: forgets to see who won. Yeah.
- 32:52Speaker 5: There's a lot going on this morning.
- 32:54Speaker 1: How'd that work out?
- 32:56Speaker 5: I was confident that I won, but I didn't know
- 32:58Speaker 5: the score.
- 32:59Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, you won.
- 33:01Speaker 17: In other news, nine people are dead after a mass
- 33:03Speaker 17: shooting murder-suicide in Erie, Pennsylvania. So this happened Friday night,
- 33:07Speaker 17: and it looks like it involved a family. So what
- 33:10Speaker 17: investigators are saying, two women knew something was going on
- 33:13Speaker 17: at that house. So they went over to the house,
- 33:15Speaker 17: and they got shot and killed outside. And then more
- 33:18Speaker 17: shots were heard inside the house when a SWAT team
- 33:20Speaker 17: was doing a standoff. And when police did move in,
- 33:22Speaker 17: they found the bodies of seven people, six victims and
- 33:26Speaker 17: the shooter who had turned the gun on himself. So
- 33:29Speaker 17: in total, nine people, all but one of the victims
- 33:31Speaker 17: were family members of this guy. And their ages ranged
- 33:34Speaker 17: from 22 months to 44 years old.
- 33:37Speaker 1: Super scary.
- 33:38Speaker 7: I can't wait for RoboCop, dude.
- 33:39Speaker 1: I know. We need it now. There's going to be
- 33:41Speaker 1: a robot that's just going to jump through that window. Yeah.
- 33:43Speaker 1: You could have just taken this guy out. But that
- 33:45Speaker 1: same robot is going to kill all the rest of
- 33:46Speaker 1: the innocent people, too.
- 33:47Speaker 4: Well, you know what?
- 33:48Speaker 7: It is what it is.
- 33:49Speaker 1: Oh.
- 33:50Speaker 4: Oh, okay.
- 33:50Speaker 1: Yeah, so. Yeah, it just is what it is. Okay.
- 33:54Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 33:55Speaker 1: Official statement.
- 33:56Speaker 15: Yeah, yeah.
- 33:57Speaker 1: It is what it is. Yeah, okay. It's also true
- 33:59Speaker 1: that it's going to go in there and take out
- 34:00Speaker 1: the bad guys holding his family hostage. It will kill
- 34:03Speaker 1: the rest of us too, but that is what it is.
- 34:04Speaker 5: That's for sure.
- 34:05Speaker 7: That's what's going to happen. There's the yeah, but on everything.
- 34:09Speaker 1: That's true.
- 34:10Speaker 17: And then speaking of shooters, you can file this under, wait, what?
- 34:14Speaker 17: Adam Abdi-Hakim Adam, that's his name.
- 34:16Speaker 1: That's his name?
- 34:17Speaker 4: That's like a palindrome.
- 34:18Speaker 1: The 18-year-old accused of shooting two teenagers outside a high
- 34:22Speaker 1: school football game at Eden Prairie High School in Minnesota,
- 34:25Speaker 1: already out on bond. Okay, I'm familiar with the story.
- 34:29Speaker 1: So this kid shot like two kids outside his homecoming game. Right,
- 34:32Speaker 1: there was this fight in the parking lot with about
- 34:34Speaker 1: 10 people. And it's a no-condition bond that they released
- 34:39Speaker 1: this guy who shot two kids outside. After just two days.
- 34:44Speaker 1: He was released two days after his arrest.
- 34:45Speaker 7: Are they claiming self-defense or something?
- 34:47Speaker 17: Well, no, there was a fight. There was about 10
- 34:49Speaker 17: people involved in this fight in the parking lot. Adam
- 34:51Speaker 17: gets out of the car, starts firing. Two people are injured,
- 34:55Speaker 17: a 17-year-old and an 18-year-old.
- 34:57Speaker 1: Both survived.
- 34:58Speaker 17: And then surveillance video showed it was Adam who was
- 35:00Speaker 17: the shooter. He got arrested a few days later, and
- 35:02Speaker 17: then two days later after that, after his arrest, out
- 35:05Speaker 17: on bond.
- 35:06Speaker 4: You just said he was in the car, so it's
- 35:08Speaker 4: not like there was any threat to his life.
- 35:09Speaker 1: Right. He got out and started shooting. Where's the common
- 35:12Speaker 1: sense in this scenario? And that's the part I'm having
- 35:15Speaker 1: a hard time.
- 35:16Speaker 5: Yeah, it's like you're inviting him to flee.
- 35:18Speaker 1: Right.
- 35:18Speaker 5: You know, like no condition bond. It's like, bye.
- 35:21Speaker 4: I love Minnesota for so many reasons, but they do some...
- 35:24Speaker 4: questionable stuff when it comes to this kind of thing.
- 35:26Speaker 17: And he's facing three felony charges, again, already out on
- 35:30Speaker 17: $ 100, 000 bond. But cops say the investigation is ongoing and
- 35:33Speaker 17: that additional arrests are possible.
- 35:35Speaker 1: So what? You can arrest somebody else and then release
- 35:37Speaker 1: them two days later? Just because you don't have everybody
- 35:41Speaker 1: yet doesn't mean you have to release this guy.
- 35:42Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 35:43Speaker 1: It's a violent person. Like nonviolent crime stuff. Okay.
- 35:46Speaker 4: We'll let you know.
- 35:46Speaker 1: Yeah. Like nonviolent crime people getting... All right. Now, there
- 35:50Speaker 1: is that stat about what percentage of people are committing
- 35:53Speaker 1: the majority of the crimes. It's like 10%. Or committing
- 35:58Speaker 1: like 90% of the crimes. Correct. Like it's some crazy
- 36:00Speaker 1: stat like that. But a guy who's violent, that's not
- 36:03Speaker 1: even a good cooling off. Two days. Two days. A
- 36:05Speaker 1: cooling off period.
- 36:06Speaker 4: And makes the choice to get out of his car
- 36:08Speaker 4: to shoot people.
- 36:08Speaker 1: Yeah, like, oh, I would think like, okay, I'm, you know,
- 36:12Speaker 1: releasing this guy who was pissed enough to shoot at
- 36:14Speaker 1: two people, right?
- 36:17Speaker 8: Now.
- 36:18Speaker 1: He knows he's in trouble because he's been arrested. He's
- 36:20Speaker 1: on bond. So here's a guy who's already violent and pissed.
- 36:23Speaker 1: I'm going to let him out now where everything's really fresh.
- 36:26Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 36:26Speaker 4: But do you pinky swear that you're going to be good?
- 36:28Speaker 1: And he's going to be out there. I don't know.
- 36:29Speaker 1: Is he going to be like hunting down other people
- 36:31Speaker 1: who might be able to speak to his guilt?
- 36:34Speaker 4: Clearly he has a trigger finger.
- 36:36Speaker 1: It's a violent person. You don't want the violent people.
- 36:38Speaker 1: You don't want the rapists. You don't like those kind
- 36:40Speaker 1: of people back out. Like you just, you know, he's involved.
- 36:42Speaker 1: So you keep them locked up.
- 36:44Speaker 10: Yep.
- 36:44Speaker 1: So, you know, two days, two days.
- 36:46Speaker 4: That'll show him.
- 36:47Speaker 1: Right. Also, the weekend box office numbers are in.
- 36:50Speaker 17: Jessica Chastain's movie Other Mommy took the number one spot,
- 36:54Speaker 17: $ 27. 5 million. Even though the movie got pretty bad reviews.
- 36:57Speaker 17: That's the one about the eight-year-old girl who talks to
- 36:59Speaker 17: a ghost in her closet.
- 37:00Speaker 4: I just don't want to see it.
- 37:01Speaker 17: Verity with Dakota Johnson came in second, $ 11. 5 million. In third,
- 37:06Speaker 17: it was Resident Evil with $ 8.
- 37:07Speaker 10: 4 million.
- 37:09Speaker 1: A movie I've never heard of, Heart of the Beast.
- 37:12Speaker 4: Oh, yeah. That's the one with his dog or whatever.
- 37:14Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, you didn't mention that one.
- 37:17Speaker 2: $ 7.
- 37:17Speaker 1: 1 million.
- 37:17Speaker 17: And then the other big release of the weekend had
- 37:20Speaker 17: a very small return. I thought everybody was going to
- 37:22Speaker 17: go see The Social Reckoning. It struggled to bring in $ 5.
- 37:26Speaker 1: 5 million. It didn't have... It came in fifth place.
- 37:29Speaker 7: Jesse Eisenberg. So I'm like, why am I going to
- 37:32Speaker 7: go see it?
- 37:33Speaker 1: Well, because of the story. Because he's not in it?
- 37:35Speaker 7: Yeah, I'm like.
- 37:36Speaker 1: That's what kept you?
- 37:36Speaker 5: Yeah, like.
- 37:38Speaker 7: When they don't have the original character in it.
- 37:40Speaker 1: But there was a new Aunt Viv. There was a
- 37:42Speaker 1: new Becky in Roseanne.
- 37:43Speaker 4: But we weren't excited about them. But I don't know
- 37:46Speaker 4: enough about this movie to know. Is Jeremy Strong playing Zuckerberg?
- 37:50Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 37:51Speaker 4: Is another person playing Zuckerberg?
- 37:52Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 37:52Speaker 7: So I'm like, I'm not on board. I mean, it
- 37:55Speaker 7: feels like a TV movie to me.
- 37:56Speaker 1: Well, Public wasn't on board. Came in fifth place. And
- 37:59Speaker 1: then Shane Gillis hosted SNL for the third time over
- 38:02Speaker 1: the weekend. And He let out an uncensored F-bomb during
- 38:06Speaker 1: this green eggs and ham. But he may like green
- 38:08Speaker 1: eggs and ham. Bro, it's a non-starter.
- 38:10Speaker 7: He told me, he said he doesn't f * * * cheese.
- 38:13Speaker 1: Like a man.
- 38:18Speaker 4: I can't judge. It's happened to the best of us.
- 38:21Speaker 6: Sure.
- 38:22Speaker 17: So he ended up apologizing during the good nights at
- 38:24Speaker 17: the end of the show.
- 38:25Speaker 10: He said.
- 38:26Speaker 1: Sorry about earlier. My bad. Hey, look, if we can
- 38:28Speaker 1: let this kid out after shooting people two days afterwards,
- 38:31Speaker 1: we can survive Shane Gillis with an F-bomb. Good point.
- 38:36Speaker 1: That's what's going on, Wood.
- 38:36Speaker 10: All right.
- 38:37Speaker 1: Thank you very much, Greg Gorey. You got it. More
- 38:38Speaker 1: Woody Show next. Hang on. Losing listeners by the millions. No,
- 38:42Speaker 1: like straight up.
- 38:43Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 38:44Speaker 1: You guys are idiots. The Woody Show will be right back.
- 38:49Speaker 1: The Woody Show. All right. Welcome back.
- 38:55Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 38:57Speaker 1: I don't know what's going on with ATMs lately. We
- 39:02Speaker 1: had a story about, I remember the person that they
- 39:05Speaker 1: walked up to the ATM and there was $ 120, 000. Yeah,
- 39:10Speaker 1: it glitched every night and he just kept going back. Well, no, no.
- 39:14Speaker 1: There was that one, too. I'm talking about the guy,
- 39:16Speaker 1: because it turns out it was the person who was
- 39:18Speaker 1: servicing the ATM just left a bunch of cash. And
- 39:22Speaker 1: they turned it in, and it matched. When he turned
- 39:25Speaker 1: it in, it matched to the dollar. This guy didn't
- 39:27Speaker 1: take a single dollar out of it.
- 39:28Speaker 6: Yes, dude.
- 39:30Speaker 1: People were like oh dude this guy deserves something because
- 39:32Speaker 1: man it's a hundred and twenty some thousand dollars just
- 39:35Speaker 1: sitting there right but you know you're on camera or
- 39:38Speaker 1: like you hear about you know there's a crash on
- 39:41Speaker 1: the highway or whatever and it brings trucks money all
- 39:44Speaker 1: over the highway cars are pulling over and picking it
- 39:47Speaker 1: all up be hard to resist Yeah. Really hard. There's
- 39:50Speaker 1: no way they're getting all that money back. No way.
- 39:53Speaker 1: And you will get in trouble if you get caught.
- 39:55Speaker 4: You're going to run those serial numbers?
- 39:57Speaker 1: Well, I'm saying if you get caught. How much are
- 40:00Speaker 1: they really keeping track of all that? They threaten a lot.
- 40:01Speaker 1: Down to the serial number. They say that.
- 40:03Speaker 4: I think, yeah, just to freak everybody out.
- 40:05Speaker 1: I had my kids convinced. that I had so many
- 40:08Speaker 1: cameras in the house that I had basically every room
- 40:11Speaker 1: under surveillance. And so I go, all I would have
- 40:14Speaker 1: to say is like, fine, I'll check the cameras. You're
- 40:16Speaker 1: telling me that? Fine, I'll check the cameras. All right. No, no, no, no, no, no. Yeah,
- 40:19Speaker 1: and then they would find me. If you're lying to me,
- 40:21Speaker 1: you're going to be in double the trouble. Yeah.
- 40:23Speaker 6: Right.
- 40:24Speaker 17: But there's still that mystery you never solved, the broken
- 40:26Speaker 17: chip out of the countertop.
- 40:27Speaker 4: I know.
- 40:28Speaker 1: Yeah. You are living with a liar. Yeah.
- 40:31Speaker 7: Or three.
- 40:32Speaker 1: I'm not sure. Anyway, this other ATM story. So this woman...
- 40:36Speaker 1: She goes to the ATM, just needs a quick 20.
- 40:39Speaker 1: And the whole machine, it just pops open.
- 40:43Speaker 13: Oh.
- 40:44Speaker 1: Like the door. There you go. You would open it
- 40:46Speaker 1: up to service. Right.
- 40:47Speaker 4: Grab your own.
- 40:49Speaker 1: I remember as a kid, we lived in this apartment
- 40:51Speaker 1: complex and the apartment complex had a pool. And at
- 40:54Speaker 1: the pool, there was a soda machine. And whoever had,
- 40:58Speaker 1: I guess, like serviced the machine.
- 41:00Speaker 12: Oh.
- 41:01Speaker 1: Like not forgot. Lock the thing. Because the way that
- 41:03Speaker 1: those locks happen, the door closes and it basically screws
- 41:07Speaker 1: in and then it pushes it and locks.
- 41:09Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 41:09Speaker 1: So, you know, that's what locks the machine up. Well,
- 41:12Speaker 1: I guess it didn't catch, so it still popped out.
- 41:16Speaker 1: So we just unscrewed it.
- 41:17Speaker 5: Hell, yeah.
- 41:18Speaker 1: Opened it up, and it was a free-for-all with all
- 41:21Speaker 1: the sodas.
- 41:22Speaker 4: Nice.
- 41:22Speaker 1: Yeah, and then I remember there was an old lady.
- 41:25Speaker 1: She came over. She had her little beach bag from
- 41:27Speaker 1: the towels and stuff, and she took all the quarters
- 41:31Speaker 1: out of there, and she took off with it.
- 41:32Speaker 5: Oh, wow.
- 41:33Speaker 1: We just wanted a soda, so we took a soda.
- 41:35Speaker 4: You guys probably felt kind of dumb.
- 41:37Speaker 1: We were like eight, you know, eight, nine years old.
- 41:38Speaker 1: You should have had the quarters.
- 41:39Speaker 10: No, no, no.
- 41:40Speaker 1: Yeah, anyway, so this woman goes up to the ATM
- 41:42Speaker 1: and like the whole door is popped open. Here's the
- 41:46Speaker 1: news report on it.
- 41:47Speaker 19: The Cooper couldn't believe it when she withdrew money from
- 41:50Speaker 19: this standalone Bank of America ATM and the.
- 41:54Speaker 7: Door popped open, exposing cash inside.
- 41:57Speaker 8: I heard the ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch- But then when she looked over
- 42:10Speaker 8: to go grab her cash, she noticed the whole damn
- 42:12Speaker 8: door is open.
- 42:12Speaker 4: Oh, damn.
- 42:13Speaker 1: Like, I didn't know what was going on.
- 42:15Speaker 7: I don't know who tried to steal out this machine.
- 42:18Speaker 5: Don't put your.
- 42:19Speaker 4: Hands on that.
- 42:20Speaker 1: She said the door.
- 42:21Speaker 19: Of the ATM swung open and hit her car, briefly
- 42:25Speaker 19: keeping her from moving. Once she got out and saw
- 42:28Speaker 19: the money inside, she called Bank of America.
- 42:31Speaker 12: Couldn't get anybody.
- 42:32Speaker 7: So she called 911.
- 42:33Speaker 1: Of course she couldn't.
- 42:34Speaker 10: What?
- 42:35Speaker 2: The ATM is open.
- 42:37Speaker 19: Cooper says she wanted to make sure no one got
- 42:39Speaker 19: in the machine and took any money. Once police arrived,
- 42:42Speaker 19: Cooper said she had to leave because she was suffering
- 42:46Speaker 19: from anxiety.
- 42:48Speaker 1: Really? Yeah. Were you? And how close were you to
- 42:52Speaker 1: the ATM? It hit your car?
- 42:54Speaker 4: That I don't understand. That I'm not getting.
- 42:56Speaker 1: What do you mean? If you're pulled up to a
- 42:58Speaker 1: drive-up ATM.
- 43:01Speaker 1: Oh, it was a drive-thru? Yeah. And then the door
- 43:03Speaker 1: pops open. It's like the car next to you opening
- 43:06Speaker 1: their door and hitting your car.
- 43:07Speaker 4: Yeah, we weren't thinking drive-up.
- 43:08Speaker 7: I could tell. I mean, I can't understand why she
- 43:11Speaker 7: would think like, oh, they might think that I was
- 43:14Speaker 7: involved with this and she might get scared.
- 43:16Speaker 14: Woody, it's your biggest fear. That's what's giving her so
- 43:18Speaker 14: much anxiety.
- 43:19Speaker 13: If she leaves and she was the last person whose
- 43:21Speaker 13: information was in the ATM.
- 43:22Speaker 1: And someone else You end up at the emergency room?
- 43:24Speaker 4: Nah, they probably insisted they check her out.
- 43:26Speaker 1: That's a little dramatic. Yeah. I mean... I mean, maybe
- 43:30Speaker 1: if you thought you were legitimately having a heart attack
- 43:32Speaker 1: and then you get there like, oh no, it's not
- 43:34Speaker 1: a real heart attack. It's just anxiety.
- 43:35Speaker 4: I just saw a bunch of money.
- 43:37Speaker 14: I'm freaking out.
- 43:39Speaker 1: It was so tempting. It just sounds over the top
- 43:42Speaker 1: like when you hear celebrities who check themselves, they go
- 43:46Speaker 1: to the hospital for, quote, exhaustion.
- 43:47Speaker 4: That's my favorite one.
- 43:48Speaker 10: And why is that?
- 43:49Speaker 1: It's only affecting celebrities. Yeah, it's only affecting actors and actresses.
- 43:52Speaker 4: I need to go night-night.
- 43:53Speaker 1: Yeah, they're the only ones who have ever been hospitalized
- 43:56Speaker 1: over exhaustion.
- 43:57Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 43:58Speaker 1: Not the guy who's working three jobs to keep a
- 44:01Speaker 1: roof over his family's head. Not the soldier on the
- 44:03Speaker 1: front line. No, no, no. It's the person who's reading
- 44:06Speaker 1: words that somebody else wrote.
- 44:08Speaker 5: Or somebody who has to.
- 44:09Speaker 4: Sing for an hour and a half while wearing a costume.
- 44:12Speaker 1: Got to be in the hospital. Exhaustion. I've been singing
- 44:16Speaker 1: three days a week. It doesn't happen to regular people.
- 44:18Speaker 1: It just happens to actors and actresses. Or snap.
- 44:21Speaker 7: That's awesome.
- 44:23Speaker 1: I grab the bag and I ram. And as I'm
- 44:25Speaker 1: running back, they're paging my name. Oh, no.
- 44:29Speaker 11: This is The Woody Show.
- 44:31Speaker 1: Alright, cheers and jeers. Jeff G.
- 44:35Speaker 16: Yesterday I went to my brother's 50th birthday party, right?
- 44:39Speaker 16: My wife was there, a bunch of our relatives. Guess
- 44:41Speaker 16: what my wife was doing the whole time we were
- 44:43Speaker 16: at that party?
- 44:44Speaker 1: Getting drunk as hell.
- 44:45Speaker 5: Besides that, very good.
- 44:46Speaker 1: Pay attention.
- 44:47Speaker 5: My wife likes to drink.
- 44:48Speaker 16: She was telling everybody that I think Jeff is going
- 44:51Speaker 16: to plan a party for me for my 50th.
- 44:54Speaker 10: Oh, my God.
- 44:54Speaker 1: She's really going in on it. So we had heard
- 44:57Speaker 1: about this. Jeff was talking about how his wife got
- 45:01Speaker 1: wind somehow. I think she was going through his phone.
- 45:04Speaker 16: Well, I think she saw a text pop up because
- 45:06Speaker 16: it shows up on its lock.
- 45:07Speaker 1: From one of her friends. Yes, correct. Anyway, she's now
- 45:11Speaker 1: sniffing out Jeff's plans. to throw a party for her.
- 45:15Speaker 7: Correct.
- 45:16Speaker 1: Yeah. It was supposed to be a surprise party.
- 45:18Speaker 5: That was my intention at first.
- 45:20Speaker 6: Right, right.
- 45:20Speaker 1: But no longer a surprise.
- 45:21Speaker 5: Yeah, so this is my cheers, actually.
- 45:24Speaker 8: Oh.
- 45:25Speaker 5: I finally just said, you know what? You got it.
- 45:28Speaker 5: Go ahead and plan whatever you like.
- 45:29Speaker 16: I'll finance it, but go ahead and plan whatever you like.
- 45:33Speaker 5: I was like, just do it.
- 45:34Speaker 16: So cheers to me for giving up control and not
- 45:37Speaker 16: having to.
- 45:37Speaker 10: Worry about it.
- 45:37Speaker 1: That's good. That's my cheers. All the pressure going.
- 45:40Speaker 4: This worked out.
- 45:41Speaker 1: That's cool. So yeah, I was going to ask, what's
- 45:42Speaker 1: her move? Why is she doing this? So she could
- 45:44Speaker 1: get control?
- 45:45Speaker 4: Yes.
- 45:46Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 45:47Speaker 1: You know what, Seabass? You know my wife pretty.
- 45:49Speaker 4: Well, man.
- 45:49Speaker 1: Undercutting you, so you're shaking. Okay.
- 45:52Speaker 4: Are you the kind of person that if you found
- 45:53Speaker 4: out it was a surprise, you would just kind of
- 45:55Speaker 4: play it cool and let it all happen?
- 45:56Speaker 16: Yeah, I'd play dumb and just let it happen. Just
- 45:58Speaker 16: because I know she put in the work for it. No,
- 46:01Speaker 16: she's a project manager and a program manager, Seabass, so...
- 46:04Speaker 16: She's very much into planning. Even yesterday, she was helping
- 46:08Speaker 16: my sister-in-law with all the stuff. She just loves to
- 46:11Speaker 16: do that. So I try to just be glass half
- 46:13Speaker 16: full and said, you know what?
- 46:14Speaker 5: She loves it. I'm just going to give her this because.
- 46:16Speaker 1: She- It worked out. What do you mean give her this?
- 46:18Speaker 1: Give her the control. Give her the control.
- 46:21Speaker 5: Let her make it the way she wants to make it.
- 46:22Speaker 1: Because now she's throwing her own party. I know.
- 46:24Speaker 17: There's a certain level of embarrassment that I would have
- 46:27Speaker 17: planning my own party.
- 46:28Speaker 1: Really?
- 46:29Speaker 4: I love doing that.
- 46:29Speaker 5: It's kind of weird.
- 46:30Speaker 10: Why?
- 46:30Speaker 15: Why?
- 46:31Speaker 1: Because it's all about you, and you're like, okay, this
- 46:34Speaker 1: is what we're doing. Women love that, right? Women love themselves. Well,
- 46:38Speaker 1: think about that other friend that you had. I don't
- 46:40Speaker 1: know if you're friends anymore, but there was this woman.
- 46:43Speaker 1: She would throw her own party, invite everybody there, and
- 46:45Speaker 1: let them pay for it. Oh, that's a no-no.
- 46:48Speaker 4: No, you've got to pick up the check.
- 46:51Speaker 1: I threw the party. I picked the place. I did
- 46:53Speaker 1: all the stuff. I decided how everything was going to work.
- 46:55Speaker 1: You guys are just going to front the bill. You
- 46:57Speaker 1: pay for it. That's crazy. That's the thing. When you're married,
- 47:02Speaker 1: Like when like oh, I bought you this gift. It's
- 47:04Speaker 1: like no, I mean we.
- 47:05Speaker 17: Bought me this That's what I'm saying man like no
- 47:09Speaker 17: presents ever again.
- 47:11Speaker 1: Yes, I agree.
- 47:12Speaker 17: I agree her Yes, everything is a present like yeah,
- 47:15Speaker 17: you're paying the mortgage as a problem.
- 47:17Speaker 1: Yeah, you know my wife is gonna use you know
- 47:21Speaker 1: the the the money the household money Mm-hmm right to
- 47:25Speaker 1: buy me a gift that I may or may not
- 47:27Speaker 1: like like if it's something I haven't already bought I
- 47:31Speaker 1: chances are I probably don't want it. Totally. Or don't
- 47:33Speaker 1: need it, or whatever. And it's just for the sake
- 47:36Speaker 1: of giving a gift. Now, every once in a while,
- 47:38Speaker 1: you do get something like, okay, yeah, I was going
- 47:40Speaker 1: to buy this eventually anyway, right?
- 47:43Speaker 4: You take care of it.
- 47:44Speaker 1: Correct. So is this going to be a massive party, Jeff?
- 47:47Speaker 5: No, I don't think so. I think it's actually going to.
- 47:48Speaker 1: Be a brunch.
- 47:50Speaker 4: Oh, that's good.
- 47:50Speaker 5: Which is kind of cool.
- 47:51Speaker 12: Girls at brunch.
- 47:52Speaker 5: She'll be drunk by 1. She'll be fine.
- 47:55Speaker 16: And I'll still try to figure out some ways to
- 47:58Speaker 16: do little surprises and help her out and everything. I
- 48:00Speaker 16: don't want her doing any of the labor part of it.
- 48:02Speaker 16: I can deal with all that. But again, cheers to
- 48:04Speaker 16: me for not having to do it.
- 48:05Speaker 1: Yeah, dude. Awesome.
- 48:07Speaker 5: And my cheers is to SNL. You guys are washed. SNL,
- 48:11Speaker 5: you guys are washed. You know what? Here's the thing.
- 48:13Speaker 16: If the viral moment from your weekend show is your
- 48:16Speaker 16: host cursing accidentally, your show isn't funny anymore.
- 48:19Speaker 4: That's a good point.
- 48:19Speaker 16: Because you should be putting out funny clips. If you're
- 48:21Speaker 16: SNL and you were built on this big comedy, you know, backbone.
- 48:25Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 48:26Speaker 16: And you don't put out funny stuff anymore. And the
- 48:28Speaker 16: only clip this week was from Shane Gillis cursing.
- 48:31Speaker 5: My argument, though.
- 48:31Speaker 10: You're washed.
- 48:32Speaker 7: My argument, though, would be is no matter what, even
- 48:36Speaker 7: if they had the funniest clip out there, The F-bomb
- 48:39Speaker 7: would just take over the news.
- 48:41Speaker 16: Yeah, but you would put... I mean, it was Saturday.
- 48:43Speaker 16: You think they put another clip out by now, right?
- 48:45Speaker 1: They put out other clips. Yeah.
- 48:47Speaker 4: But they're all getting dogged.
- 48:48Speaker 1: So in previous weeks, when you've seen clips come up
- 48:51Speaker 1: from SNL, are you saying that you watch them and
- 48:53Speaker 1: you just don't find them funny anymore?
- 48:54Speaker 4: Very mid.
- 48:55Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 48:55Speaker 1: Very mid. Okay, so it's not you haven't seen them.
- 48:57Speaker 1: I do see clips, but, you know, you're right. It's
- 49:02Speaker 1: not very often... Nobody's really talking about it anymore.
- 49:05Speaker 4: You don't share it with everyone you know.
- 49:06Speaker 5: Yeah, I remember it used to be.
- 49:07Speaker 1: D in the Box. You know what I mean?
- 49:08Speaker 16: And all those things. Those, to me, were great moments.
- 49:12Speaker 16: And I just haven't seen one of those.
- 49:13Speaker 4: In a long time on the show. They were like
- 49:14Speaker 4: cultural moments. Like, everyone, went as that for Halloween type
- 49:17Speaker 4: thing yeah right.
- 49:19Speaker 1: Yeah I mean well it's bound to happen when the
- 49:21Speaker 1: show's been on that long yeah or maybe it's just
- 49:23Speaker 1: a dip over it yeah well okay this is a
- 49:26Speaker 1: very long conversation yeah well i know look i know
- 49:29Speaker 1: my opinion it's it's jeff's opinion but i mean i
- 49:32Speaker 1: don't think he's totally wrong cbass now i understand from
- 49:34Speaker 1: your side like you are a super fan i would
- 49:36Speaker 1: say right like.
- 49:37Speaker 9: There's the bigger story here is that is a that's
- 49:39Speaker 9: a ongoing theme with saturday night live of people cursing
- 49:42Speaker 9: on the air i got obviously before the area or
- 49:45Speaker 9: era of the internet and how that was like a
- 49:47Speaker 9: big deal then and so that's not a big deal
- 49:49Speaker 9: now who cares now Your kid can pull up the
- 49:52Speaker 9: most horrific language on their phone in three seconds. But
- 49:55Speaker 9: that's been a longtime thing where a guy got fired
- 49:57Speaker 9: for doing that.
- 49:58Speaker 4: And Jetty Slate, right?
- 49:59Speaker 8: Right.
- 49:59Speaker 9: People don't get invited back for doing that. Before that,
- 50:02Speaker 9: Ricky Rocket, I think, years and years ago. So it's
- 50:04Speaker 9: been an ongoing thing. And it's not much of a
- 50:07Speaker 9: thing now.
- 50:08Speaker 15: Okay.
- 50:09Speaker 1: I mean, do you think that SNL is any good
- 50:11Speaker 1: these days? Yes. Check out the upfront heating and air
- 50:14Speaker 1: conditioning commercial. It was very, very funny.
- 50:17Speaker 9: But again, they put out 20 clips a week, 22,
- 50:20Speaker 9: 23 weeks a year. So there's hundreds of clips plus
- 50:24Speaker 9: 51 years of history. So I think people who say
- 50:28Speaker 9: that aren't looking hard enough. That being said, there have
- 50:30Speaker 9: been some god-awful stuff. Yeah, for sure. And there's a
- 50:35Speaker 9: much bigger controversy out of this week's SNL, of course.
- 50:38Speaker 1: With the people getting mad at the jokes.
- 50:40Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 50:41Speaker 1: The Shane Gillis jokes. But yeah, that's a very long conversation.
- 50:43Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 50:44Speaker 1: Like what? Give me an example, one that they're really
- 50:46Speaker 1: pissed about.
- 50:46Speaker 4: Oh, the workout clothes?
- 50:48Speaker 1: I didn't hear anything. I didn't hear anything. The only
- 50:51Speaker 1: thing I heard was like what Jeff was talking about.
- 50:53Speaker 1: The only thing I heard about is that Shane Gillis
- 50:54Speaker 1: dropped an F-bomb.
- 50:55Speaker 4: I wasn't sure what the punchline of that was.
- 50:59Speaker 1: Okay, now that we're talking about it. Dan Levy, for one,
- 51:01Speaker 1: you know him, Greg. He's from your favorite show. Schitt's Creek. Right.
- 51:05Speaker 1: He slams Shane Gillis for his monologue. Now, I'll give
- 51:08Speaker 1: you the joke.
- 51:09Speaker 9: Part of the joke, he's telling a story about how
- 51:11Speaker 9: he feels awkward at the gym and he's just setting
- 51:13Speaker 9: up different stuff. He's like, and one of the things
- 51:16Speaker 9: he said, you ever notice how all the girls at
- 51:17Speaker 9: the gym dress like whores now? And Greg just chuckled.
- 51:21Speaker 9: And that's the part. Now the rest of the joke
- 51:23Speaker 9: goes on his observations and different stuff. He talks about
- 51:26Speaker 9: his stories, but that's the part that's getting all the controversy.
- 51:29Speaker 9: And by the way, he's been doing that joke on
- 51:30Speaker 9: stage at least four months ago when I saw him
- 51:32Speaker 9: on stage, he's been doing the same joke.
- 51:34Speaker 1: And I'll point out that the joke is the emperor
- 51:36Speaker 1: has no clothes. Literally the emperor has no clothes and
- 51:40Speaker 1: the backlash proves it because the point is, and I've
- 51:43Speaker 1: said this a long time ago, since when did underwear
- 51:46Speaker 1: become the going out clothes? And this is the whole
- 51:50Speaker 1: skimification of fashion, the Kardashians, how we're all wearing bicycle
- 51:55Speaker 1: pants when some of us are 50 pounds too heavy
- 51:58Speaker 1: to be wearing bicycle pants or underwear essentially. And the
- 52:04Speaker 1: point that Shane Gillis made by just saying the most
- 52:07Speaker 1: obvious observation was you can't comment on that anymore or
- 52:10Speaker 1: else you get all the backlash that he is currently
- 52:13Speaker 1: getting today. Literally, you can't point out that the emperor
- 52:16Speaker 1: is not wearing any clothes because who's in power now?
- 52:18Speaker 1: The person who complains the loudest and the most as
- 52:21Speaker 1: his backlash is proving. So everybody who's saying, oh, misogynist.
- 52:25Speaker 4: Oh, no.
- 52:26Speaker 7: Where's the joke?
- 52:27Speaker 1: You're just proving his point. Thank you.
- 52:30Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 52:31Speaker 1: I mean, you're, you're, you're right about that for sure.
- 52:35Speaker 1: And it's just, it's just a bunch of like, whoever
- 52:37Speaker 1: wants to be the loudest, you know, that's your, that's
- 52:40Speaker 1: your points. Cause you're the victim, even though you aren't
- 52:42Speaker 1: part of the victim. Are you dressing like a whore
- 52:44Speaker 1: at the gym? Then I guess you are the victim.
- 52:46Speaker 1: But it's funny, man. I, cause I feel like all
- 52:48Speaker 1: these things, like the people that are complaining about different
- 52:51Speaker 1: things are all in these like isolated little pockets. Of course.
- 52:56Speaker 1: I don't hear any widespread, um, you know, uh, people
- 53:01Speaker 1: calling for Shane Gillis' head.
- 53:03Speaker 4: Yeah, people aren't taking to the street.
- 53:04Speaker 1: And when I saw that joke live four months ago,
- 53:06Speaker 1: 12,000 people laughed their heads off. Yeah, because you see,
- 53:09Speaker 1: because that's in your algorithm. It's not in my algorithm.
- 53:12Speaker 1: Didn't even hear about it. The only thing I did
- 53:13Speaker 1: see was He dropped the f-bomb.
- 53:16Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 53:16Speaker 1: Didn't say anything about, like, oh, Shane Gillis getting backlash.
- 53:19Speaker 1: Backlash over exercise wear? It's in an echo chamber of
- 53:23Speaker 1: the same like-minded people. They're all mad about it with
- 53:26Speaker 1: each other.
- 53:26Speaker 5: Yeah, but are they actually mad about it?
- 53:28Speaker 15: Yes.
- 53:28Speaker 5: Because there is a business.
- 53:31Speaker 7: In being mad on social media.
- 53:34Speaker 1: Performatively mad, yes.
- 53:35Speaker 7: Yes, because you make a piece of content. that you
- 53:39Speaker 7: act all mad about, and then you get a bunch
- 53:41Speaker 7: of people to engage with that piece of content, you're
- 53:43Speaker 7: getting paid off that content. So there is professional mad
- 53:47Speaker 7: people out there constantly just looking for stuff. Even if
- 53:49Speaker 7: they're not getting paid, they're getting the pat on the back.
- 53:52Speaker 1: Through likes and comments. Well, the body, the over-the-top body,
- 53:55Speaker 1: it's one thing to be positive and not be so
- 53:58Speaker 1: hard on yourself. It's another thing when you're a 1,000-pound sister...
- 54:02Speaker 1: And you're going, oh, body positivity.
- 54:04Speaker 5: And even the.
- 54:04Speaker 1: Super hot chicks, you don't need to wear underwear to
- 54:08Speaker 1: the gym. And you didn't need, and no one did
- 54:09Speaker 1: 20 years ago.
- 54:10Speaker 4: That's a surprising take, Seabass.
- 54:12Speaker 1: I mean, I appreciate it more when the super hot
- 54:14Speaker 1: chicks do. And I can put another little cherry on
- 54:17Speaker 1: the thing. I thought we were done shaming people for jokes.
- 54:19Speaker 1: I thought that was like a cottage industry in 2015. Yeah,
- 54:21Speaker 1: that's so bad. Yeah, that was so like, are.
- 54:23Speaker 5: We still trying this stuff?
- 54:24Speaker 1: Are we still going to get people? Well, okay, so
- 54:27Speaker 1: to embrace Menace's point here, our people... I think they
- 54:31Speaker 1: saw it work again 10 years ago and they're still
- 54:33Speaker 1: trying it these days. But is that real or is
- 54:36Speaker 1: it what Menace is talking about? Where they're just making–
- 54:38Speaker 1: Fake outrage. What's your take on that?
- 54:40Speaker 9: I think it's majority people who– they don't really care.
- 54:44Speaker 9: They wouldn't be mad if someone didn't tell them they
- 54:46Speaker 9: were supposed to be mad about it.
- 54:47Speaker 1: I think it is. They're like, oh, I guess we're doing, okay,
- 54:50Speaker 1: we're still doing this now.
- 54:50Speaker 12: All right.
- 54:51Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah.
- 54:52Speaker 7: Yeah, I can, you know, I can be part of
- 54:54Speaker 7: a little community of mad people.
- 54:55Speaker 1: Right, I think it's people playing along more than anything.
- 54:57Speaker 5: Yeah, they wake up waiting for someone else to tell
- 54:59Speaker 5: them what to be mad at.
- 55:00Speaker 1: Yeah, I thought that was a thing we were done with.
- 55:02Speaker 1: 314 says, unpopular opinion. Or actually, it's probably not. Shane
- 55:06Speaker 1: Gillis is not funny, not even a little bit. I disagree.
- 55:10Speaker 1: I think he's funny. He does this weird thing, and
- 55:12Speaker 1: I don't think it's intentional. And you've seen it in
- 55:15Speaker 1: every one of the three times he's hosted SNL. And
- 55:17Speaker 1: you also saw it when he hosted the Kevin Hart roast.
- 55:20Speaker 1: is he'll stop down and kind of be like, uh-huh,
- 55:24Speaker 1: when he doesn't get a laugh on something. But it
- 55:27Speaker 1: seems genuine, it seems natural, and he only does it
- 55:29Speaker 1: in these areas where he's up against a crowd that's
- 55:32Speaker 1: got to stick up their ass. Because again, I saw
- 55:34Speaker 1: him do every SNL, all the stuff he did in
- 55:37Speaker 1: the monologue, and I saw him do all the Kevin
- 55:38Speaker 1: Hart roast jokes in front of his crowd. Ate it up. Well,
- 55:41Speaker 1: because they were there to see him.
- 55:42Speaker 6: Right.
- 55:42Speaker 1: Because it's genuinely funny. Is that his way of dealing
- 55:46Speaker 1: with the same way like Ricky Gervais does? Like, I
- 55:48Speaker 1: don't care.
- 55:48Speaker 4: I don't care.
- 55:50Speaker 1: Like, oh, you people are blah, blah, blah. I don't care. Like,
- 55:52Speaker 1: that's how he responds and reacts to when people don't.
- 55:57Speaker 1: Like his shows, I'm sure, Ricky Gervais shows. Everybody's laughing
- 56:00Speaker 1: because they know what he's all about. Well, they paid
- 56:02Speaker 1: to see him. Yeah, but when he's on the Golden Globes.
- 56:04Speaker 4: Take your little award, thank your agent, and F off.
- 56:07Speaker 16: Like our friend Joe Coy. He dealt with the same thing.
- 56:09Speaker 16: He sells out SoFi, but on the Golden Globe crowd,
- 56:14Speaker 16: he had a tough time.
- 56:16Speaker 1: Cheers and jeers. What about you, Greg Gorey?
- 56:19Speaker 17: Well, obviously, cheers to the 5-0 49ers. That was such
- 56:23Speaker 17: a nail-biter of a game.
- 56:24Speaker 1: I told you on Friday. It was. Didn't go the
- 56:27Speaker 1: way I expected. I thought, yep, they're going to Niner it. Oh,
- 56:29Speaker 1: this is from the guy who says, I don't care
- 56:31Speaker 1: about football. I tried not to care. He says it
- 56:33Speaker 1: every week. It's a verb.
- 56:34Speaker 4: They're going to Niner it.
- 56:35Speaker 1: Well, like, no, yeah, for sure. Critter away.
- 56:37Speaker 4: No, I get it.
- 56:38Speaker 7: Niners will Niner.
- 56:39Speaker 1: They will Niner. So that was exciting. And I loved
- 56:42Speaker 1: every second of it. Did you text back and forth
- 56:45Speaker 1: to your dad about it? The entire time. That's what
- 56:48Speaker 1: it's all about. The entire time.
- 56:49Speaker 4: About relationships.
- 56:50Speaker 1: Father and son. And I tried not to care, but
- 56:52Speaker 1: I care. Cats in the cradle. Yeah, totally.
- 56:55Speaker 17: I got sirred and it bummed me out. So I
- 57:00Speaker 17: got called sir.
- 57:01Speaker 18: I'm at Sammy's Mecca of Trader Joe's and I'm wearing
- 57:08Speaker 18: one of my shirts that says Karl Lagerfeld and there's
- 57:11Speaker 18: a little caricature of Karl Lagerfeld on there.
- 57:14Speaker 1: And I love that shirt.
- 57:15Speaker 17: And I'm walking down one of the, I think it
- 57:16Speaker 17: was the frozen aisle. And this younger, cooler guy said, Hey,
- 57:20Speaker 17: I like your shirt, sir. And I said, oh, thanks, man.
- 57:24Speaker 17: And then he's like, no, seriously, I really like that, sir.
- 57:27Speaker 1: And then it.
- 57:28Speaker 17: Bothered me for the rest of the day. I wish
- 57:31Speaker 17: he had just said, hey, I like your shirt, man,
- 57:33Speaker 17: or I like your shirt.
- 57:34Speaker 4: Was this an employee?
- 57:34Speaker 1: No.
- 57:35Speaker 4: Oh, and I can't help you.
- 57:37Speaker 1: Like your shirt, young bro.
- 57:38Speaker 4: Fellow student.
- 57:41Speaker 1: Like your shirt, contemporary.
- 57:43Speaker 17: I'm not saying that I think I'm 20, but being
- 57:46Speaker 17: called sir, I'm assuming, is why women hate being called ma'am. Like,
- 57:51Speaker 17: I always thought, oh, it's a sign of respect. You know,
- 57:53Speaker 17: that's nice.
- 57:54Speaker 1: And instead, I was bummed out.
- 57:56Speaker 4: I'm a miss, you mother effer.
- 57:58Speaker 7: Yeah, don't call me, sir. That happened to me just recently.
- 58:01Speaker 7: I was at the Solomon shoe store, and I was wearing,
- 58:05Speaker 7: you know, my babes.
- 58:06Speaker 1: You know, I love wearing those.
- 58:07Speaker 7: And the guy that was there selling shoes, he goes, oh, man,
- 58:11Speaker 7: I love your shoes.
- 58:12Speaker 12: He goes.
- 58:12Speaker 7: Yeah, my dad had a pair.
- 58:14Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 58:14Speaker 5: And I've always wanted one.
- 58:15Speaker 7: I'm like, wait, what? Your dad wanted a pair? Your
- 58:19Speaker 7: dad had a pair and you want a pair? That's
- 58:21Speaker 7: like so weird to say. Like your dad.
- 58:23Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 58:24Speaker 1: Would you prefer if he said mister? Yeah, mister. I
- 58:26Speaker 1: don't know. You guys might have like age dysmorphia. I guess.
- 58:31Speaker 4: It's sir time.
- 58:33Speaker 1: It's sir time. I mean, I'm very well aware of it.
- 58:35Speaker 1: You're in sir territory. I'm very well aware of that.
- 58:37Speaker 1: For sure. I'm moments from death. Dude, so I turned
- 58:42Speaker 1: 50 this month, right? And I got the AARP card
- 58:46Speaker 1: in the mail. Yeah, I didn't sign up for it.
- 58:50Speaker 1: They just know. Oh, they know. They just sent it
- 58:53Speaker 1: to you, and my wife goes, look what came today.
- 58:56Speaker 4: How do you feel, though? Because you don't want it,
- 58:57Speaker 4: but then there's also hot discounts.
- 58:59Speaker 1: Oh, I don't care. Age does not bother me at all.
- 59:02Speaker 1: I don't care at all. I thought the same thing.
- 59:06Speaker 1: I'm like, well, If it can get you like a
- 59:08Speaker 1: better deal on whatever.
- 59:09Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 59:10Speaker 1: Cool.
- 59:10Speaker 4: Buy one, get one at the movie theater.
- 59:12Speaker 1: I like being a part of a cool club, you know?
- 59:14Speaker 7: Do you get like, special hours at Denny's or something?
- 59:17Speaker 1: Don't know. I have to look it up. There's like
- 59:18Speaker 1: a whole thing you can go to and see what
- 59:20Speaker 1: all benefits you can take advantage of and stuff.
- 59:22Speaker 4: I'm not uncurious about that.
- 59:24Speaker 1: You're so close to living in one of those 55
- 59:26Speaker 1: and over kids. I know. No kids allowed. Oh, dude,
- 59:30Speaker 1: that sounds great. There are definite positives about it. But Greg,
- 59:32Speaker 1: God forbid we get some Botox this weekend. I know.
- 59:35Speaker 1: I'm so overdue. I had to look up, because I
- 59:38Speaker 1: had this Karl Lagerfeld shirt. And I was like, who
- 59:41Speaker 1: the F is Karl Lagerfeld? You've seen his little cartoon.
- 59:43Speaker 1: The late, great Karl Lagerfeld. I can guarantee you, Woody
- 59:46Speaker 1: has not seen that little cartoon. Yeah, I looked it up.
- 59:48Speaker 1: It says German fashion design. I'm like, okay, well, that's why.
- 59:50Speaker 4: He is a classic fat shamer from way back, the
- 59:53Speaker 4: way he talks to the size zero models. Yeah.
- 59:56Speaker 1: Sunglasses.
- 59:57Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 59:58Speaker 1: I wasn't familiar.
- 59:58Speaker 4: His cat shoe pants.
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: I looked it up. Love Lagerfeld. I was trying to
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: get an idea like what kind of shirt this was
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: that got this attention.
- 1:00:05Speaker 7: He's a pretty iconic designer in fashion, but he also
- 1:00:09Speaker 7: like I mean, he's dead, so who cares? But he
- 1:00:12Speaker 7: ripped off, like, a lot of his, like, designs from
- 1:00:15Speaker 7: just everybody else, allegedly.
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: Really?
- 1:00:17Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: He was, like, AI before AI?
- 1:00:19Speaker 7: Pretty much. Like, if you go look at all of
- 1:00:21Speaker 7: his designs, you're like, oh, that's from Alexander McQueen. That's
- 1:00:24Speaker 7: from Chanel. That's, like, it's pretty much just, like, copies.
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: More names I gotta look up. Where's Chanel? I've heard
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: of her.
- 1:00:29Speaker 7: Yeah, but with his name thrown on it.
- 1:00:32Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: But I'm not saying, like, some, like, his stuff was good.
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: I like his stuff.
- 1:00:36Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: Well, thank you, sir.
- 1:00:37Speaker 6: Ah, good.
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: Hey. I've never been more seen.
- 1:00:47Speaker 4: Oh.
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: What happens every time we're on the road, guys? Like,
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: what is the one thing, like, when it comes to
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: getting the show together, what is the one thing that never,
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: ever works? The rental car, for sure. No, besides the
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: rental car. The printer. The printers. Oh, the printer. I've
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: never understood why printers feel the need to be so difficult. Like,
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: how difficult is it, like, when you just have the
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: computer and you go, print? Right.
- 1:01:14Speaker 12: Why.
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: why is this piece of hardware? This seems to be
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: more difficult or more like, what is it about printing?
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: And you have to get an engineer to map it out. Like,
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: come on. So this guy had like a little rant
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: that he posted online because man, he was having the
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: hardest time. He's looking for a job. And so he's, uh,
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: He got this printer from his dad, right? And so
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: he's trying to get this stupid printer to work and
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: he's losing his mind.
- 1:01:38Speaker 3: I'm out here looking for a job right now and
- 1:01:40Speaker 3: I'm trying to print up my resume and my deceased
- 1:01:42Speaker 3: father has left a printer at home.
- 1:01:44Speaker 11: And I'm like, okay, cool. I'm going to check out
- 1:01:46Speaker 11: the printer. And the printer is like, hey, we're connected
- 1:01:48Speaker 11: to the old Wi-Fi. I'm like, all right, cool.
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: We have new Wi-Fi.
- 1:01:51Speaker 11: Fix that.
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: Set it up.
- 1:01:52Speaker 11: It's like we're updating. It takes 10 minutes to update.
- 1:01:54Speaker 3: After it's done updating, it's like, hey, by the way,
- 1:01:56Speaker 3: you need to sign in with your HP account. I'm like,
- 1:01:58Speaker 3: a f * * * ing account for a printer?
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: All right, whatever.
- 1:02:01Speaker 11: I make an account.
- 1:02:02Speaker 3: I go on. It doesn't show up. Then it's like, oh, sorry,
- 1:02:05Speaker 3: you need the app. So then I download the f * * *
- 1:02:07Speaker 3: ing app, and then the app makes me sign in.
- 1:02:09Speaker 3: Then I sign in with the app, and the app's like, hey,
- 1:02:11Speaker 3: you're not connected to the Wi-Fi network properly.
- 1:02:13Speaker 11: Can you reconnect to the wifi network?
- 1:02:15Speaker 3: So then I have to reconnect the printer to the
- 1:02:17Speaker 3: wifi network.
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: I mean, you just want to print one. Yeah. Here,
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: print this. This is your record, your receipt, whatever, like
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: your resume in this case, like just print dude.
- 1:02:28Speaker 4: You gotta smash this thing with a hammer.
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: Right? Yeah. Like printers for whatever reason are the most
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: complicated goddamn things on earth.
- 1:02:35Speaker 11: And then I get that set up and then it
- 1:02:37Speaker 11: updates again.
- 1:02:38Speaker 3: And then by the time it's updated, it's like, oh,
- 1:02:40Speaker 3: by the way, this is registered to your father's account.
- 1:02:42Speaker 11: You're going to have to call support.
- 1:02:43Speaker 3: And so then I call support and I'm on the
- 1:02:45Speaker 3: line with support for like 45 minutes just to get
- 1:02:48Speaker 3: them to unregister my dad's name from this printer.
- 1:02:51Speaker 11: And I go through three different people. And then by
- 1:02:53Speaker 11: the time I'm done with that, it's finally ready to
- 1:02:55Speaker 11: set up. And then I find out that you need.
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: To pay $ 8 a month to use the printer.
- 1:03:00Speaker 6: What?
- 1:03:00Speaker 5: You need to pay $ 8.
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: A month to use the printer in my house.
- 1:03:06Speaker 11: It's not even an internet service. It's not like it's
- 1:03:09Speaker 11: being live updated. It just prints f * * *
- 1:03:10Speaker 11: ing paper.
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: I do all the work.
- 1:03:12Speaker 11: All it does is put it on a sheet. Are
- 1:03:14Speaker 11: you serious?
- 1:03:15Speaker 3: Are you serious?
- 1:03:16Speaker 7: Oh, my God.
- 1:03:18Speaker 10: What?
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: I agree. I've lived it. It's like I've done all
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: the stuff that should be the time-consuming part, but the
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: part that I've spent the most time on is just
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: trying to get this stupid stuff to print. You guys
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: have all witnessed it. Yeah, it never works for you.
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: And they're like, well, I guess we can get a
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: flash drive. We'll take it from here and bring it
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: to this other computer. I'm like, what?
- 1:03:36Speaker 12: Why?
- 1:03:36Speaker 4: We shouldn't be doing this.
- 1:03:37Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: Well, maybe we can hardwire. And sometimes even hardwiring it.
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: It doesn't do anything. It's like, well, no, because now
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: it needs this driver updated.
- 1:03:47Speaker 7: Like, what?
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: Driver? You're drivering me crazy. It's unbelievable how difficult and
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: just like, I don't know, testy. printers are.
- 1:03:59Speaker 9: And people are probably having questions as I was about
- 1:04:01Speaker 9: this $ 8 a month thing. Apparently HP has a leasing
- 1:04:05Speaker 9: of their printer option. Much like with some cable companies
- 1:04:09Speaker 9: that do with their modems.
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: So you can lease the printer. It's not yours.
- 1:04:12Speaker 9: They'll send you the printer and the toner, and you'll
- 1:04:14Speaker 9: get an allotment of pages per month.
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: Oh, my God.
- 1:04:19Speaker 14: So it's like 20 pages of printing per month is $ 8.
- 1:04:21Speaker 4: Wow, no thank you.
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: 20 pages?
- 1:04:24Speaker 14: Yeah, that's not that many.
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: Either, number one, use the Office, or two, FedEx Kinkos
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: or Office Max. Oh, my God. This other person who
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: is ranting and raving is a DoorDash Instacart driver. filming
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: herself in her car going off on some customers. Here
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: we go.
- 1:04:41Speaker 2: I'm making this video because this is what people be
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: getting mad about. This is why people be tripping when
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: they be getting to people's houses when they doing Instacart
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: and DoorDash.
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: That's why they be tripping. They're not tripping, they be tripping.
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: That's why they are angry. I'm just trying to make
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: sure that Greg is following. I'm making sure that Greg
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: and Gina are really following. That's why they be tripping.
- 1:05:04Speaker 7: I'm like, why are you explaining?
- 1:05:05Speaker 12: There is no motherf * * * ing.
- 1:05:06Speaker 2: Way y'all got on Instacart Made somebody go shopping for y'all.
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: Over 10 items now. Anything over 10, bitch, fuck you.
- 1:05:14Speaker 2: Over 10 items, and you got them driving an hour
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: to you, and I got to drive an hour back. Now,
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: let's see if these people give me a motherfucking tip. Now,
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: if they don't, I want y'all to please... Stop fucking
- 1:05:25Speaker 2: trying to call the law on these people or try
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: to put them on blast on social media because they
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: tripping out on your porch because they done drove 45
- 1:05:32Speaker 2: minutes to an hour and y'all didn't give them a dime.
- 1:05:34Speaker 2: There's no reason why you can't get your ass up
- 1:05:36Speaker 2: and go to the grocery store.
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: Near your fucking house. So let's see what the fuck
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: these bitches do. That's what I be talking about.
- 1:05:40Speaker 7: Fuck y'all.
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:05:42Speaker 4: Wait, I'm confused on a couple things. First of all,
- 1:05:45Speaker 4: don't you put the tip in beforehand so you can
- 1:05:47Speaker 4: decide whether you want to take that call or not?
- 1:05:50Speaker 7: Yeah, but you have an extra option.
- 1:05:53Speaker 4: Yeah, and I do that afterwards. But you already know
- 1:05:56Speaker 4: what you're going to at least get.
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: So you tip and then you do an extra tip afterwards?
- 1:06:00Speaker 10: Sometimes I do, yeah.
- 1:06:02Speaker 6: Why?
- 1:06:02Speaker 4: I did last night.
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: What if they put a little smiley face on there?
- 1:06:04Speaker 4: Because she said, oh, Sam, you'd love this. I was
- 1:06:06Speaker 4: looking for the message. I can't find it. But she
- 1:06:08Speaker 4: sent me like a hello, nice to meet you. This
- 1:06:10Speaker 4: is who I am. And it was all produce puns.
- 1:06:13Speaker 4: And I really liked it, so I gave her another
- 1:06:16Speaker 4: five bucks.
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: That's worse than the smiley face on the receipt, Seabass. Yeah,
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: the old server trick.
- 1:06:21Speaker 4: It was pretty cute.
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: But number two, they tell you how much money you
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: make before you accept the.
- 1:06:25Speaker 4: That's what I'm saying.
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: And you know how far it is. It's not like, okay,
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: you're going to make $ 5.
- 1:06:30Speaker 7: Surprise!
- 1:06:30Speaker 5: Hour and a half!
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: It's your choice.
- 1:06:32Speaker 4: You don't have to accept it.
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: I had no idea that's how that worked. And so
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: then our friend, Tony the Whipping Boy, he just decided
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: to do a little bit of door dashing on the
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: side because he had some extra time. He was looking
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: for a couple extra bucks. Works in radio, so he
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: needs the money. Well, no, currently he's unemployed. He's doing
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: stuff for us, but it's just like a little... Here
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: and there.
- 1:06:51Speaker 11: Sure, sure.
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: He's got some other stuff in the hopper. He's going
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: to be working full time, won't be door dashing. But
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: in the meantime, while he's going to pick up his
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: daughter from school, he's like, well, I got 45 minutes
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: to kill. And so he was explaining to me, I go, well,
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: how does that work? He's like, well... It comes up
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: and it says, OK, there's this, this and this. And
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: then if you accept this, this is how much you
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: will make on this trip.
- 1:07:10Speaker 12: There you go.
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: He says, I don't take anything under $ 10. That you'll
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: make on one delivery. Correct.
- 1:07:16Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: So he's selective and he's like, it's not worth my time.
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: Forget it. And I guess that's DoorDash. I'm not sure. Instacart.
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: It's all the same?
- 1:07:26Speaker 4: I did Instacart yesterday.
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: As are Uber and Lyft. Anything like that is roughly
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: the same. So what this woman's talking about, and this
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: is the part that I'm always like, I'm kind of confused.
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: You don't work for an app where it's like, do-me-a-favor.com,
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: where people go on there and they go, you know what?
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: I need these 10 things from the store. And I
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: just need somebody to volunteer their time and to go
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: and get these things and then bring them to my house.
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: Do me a favor.com. No, you signed up to be
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: a delivery driver for whatever it was. And now I
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: even learn, like we just mentioned, you have the ability
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: to either accept or not accept. You see before you
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: even start what you're going to make. So you complaining
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: and throwing a hissy fit on someone's patio about you
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: didn't tip enough for whatever. Then why'd you accept it?
- 1:08:12Speaker 4: That's the question that I don't understand.
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: Then why'd you accept it? This is the job. If
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: you don't like that job or you're running around doing
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: errands for people, then don't sign up to be an
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: Instacart or DoorDash driver because that seems to be what
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: the job is. If only there were thousands of other
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: jobs available. Oh, wait. And if it's 45 minutes away,
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: don't accept it. No, I use DoorDash and I tip
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: very nice. I'm a very generous tipper in that way. Okay,
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: because I appreciate it. I'm not going. I don't want
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: to go out and get whatever it is. I'm taking
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: the convenience of this.
- 1:08:45Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: And the people who don't tip it, I would assume that,
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: you know, when you see that, you just don't accept
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: that one.
- 1:08:52Speaker 4: That's all it is. And it's like the same thing
- 1:08:54Speaker 4: like with Uber, you know, these are your options. Who
- 1:08:56Speaker 4: wants it? And then somebody picks it.
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:08:59Speaker 4: Yeah, it's that's a very strange complaint.
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: Yeah but like when people start going on those rants
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: as if they're doing everybody like a favor out of
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: the goodness of their own heart like no you did
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: this because it's part of what you.
- 1:09:09Speaker 4: Do and also she was super pissed if you order
- 1:09:12Speaker 4: more than 10 items i is that not allowed Yeah.
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: That was another weird thing. No, it'd be allowed.
- 1:09:18Speaker 4: That's another thing. But she really seemed very upset about that.
- 1:09:21Speaker 9: That would be the reason you would want two orders
- 1:09:23Speaker 9: because you have like, maybe you're an old person and
- 1:09:24Speaker 9: you don't want to carry all that crap.
- 1:09:25Speaker 7: You know what?
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: Maybe this is not for her. Maybe work isn't her thing.
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: It says, no, Gina, as a door dasher and former
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: Instacart driver, we don't fully know if the cheap bastards
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: are tipping.
- 1:09:37Speaker 4: I don't understand that.
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: But here's the thing. You knew how much you were
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: going to make from that order.
- 1:09:42Speaker 15: That's what I'm saying.
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: This is your take of that order. So whether they
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: tip or not, you accepted it knowing, yes, okay, for
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: what this is. I'll make six bucks. I'm okay with
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: six dollars. Yeah. Whether they tip or not, that's inconsequential.
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: Because you accept it. Like if I'm understanding it, if
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: I'm if I'm misunderstanding.
- 1:10:01Speaker 6: You're right.
- 1:10:01Speaker 9: There's a it's called guaranteed payout.
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: If I'm if I'm misunderstanding here, then, you know, please
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: correct me.
- 1:10:07Speaker 4: It's the semantics of what you're going to make slash
- 1:10:09Speaker 4: if they're going.
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: To get tipped. Yeah.
- 1:10:11Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: They give you the mileage. You get the guaranteed payout.
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: They give you the ETA. Yeah. So you accepted and
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: it should just be what you accepted. Anything above and
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: beyond that was just be extra gravy. Right. It's the
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: cherry on the sundae. Yeah.
- 1:10:24Speaker 16: Yeah.
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: But you accepted it at X number. I told you.
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: And it gives you the number of items, too. Yeah.
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: Everything's on there except for the person's name, basically.
- 1:10:31Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:10:32Speaker 5: So you know.
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: All right. 877-44-WOODY. Man, that guy with the printer, though, man.
- 1:10:37Speaker 4: Oh, that guy.
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: That hit me right in the heart.
- 1:10:40Speaker 4: Right in the bread basket.
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: Like, dude, finally. I'm not the only one. I feel
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: so seen. Yeah. It's not like anybody wants. They just
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: want to feel seen and heard.
- 1:10:48Speaker 4: Just be validated.
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: I hear you. I see you. Yeah. But man, with
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: everything with a subscription. Oh, so dumb. I can't take it.
- 1:10:56Speaker 11: It's not for everybody.
- 1:10:57Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: Are you like me?
- 1:10:59Speaker 15: Probably.
- 1:11:00Speaker 7: You have to try it on.
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: You have to touch it.
- 1:11:02Speaker 8: Yes.
- 1:11:02Speaker 18: Feel the fabric.
- 1:11:03Speaker 4: You have to feel it.
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: Don't want to show. Yeah, there was some other drama
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: going on. You know that scene in Pretty Woman where the...
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: Salesperson dismisses Julia Roberts.
- 1:11:18Speaker 4: It's very expensive.
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: Yeah, well, Kelly Clarkson, you know, Kelly Clarkson, she said
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: that she had a similar experience at the store in Brooklyn.
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: Did you see anything about this?
- 1:11:27Speaker 4: Yeah, this is a weird one. I don't know who
- 1:11:29Speaker 4: to believe.
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: Quote, just drove all the way to Brooklyn to check
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: out the store I thought looked really rad and had
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: a few things in mind to buy and literally was
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: looked at as if I couldn't afford it and was
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: told he could find something comparable for me. Wow, dude,
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: you're an idiot. You just lost a huge sale. Y'all
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: should go check out Art of Play in Brooklyn. If
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: you enjoy being treated like Julia Roberts' character in Pretty Woman,
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: for sure, check it out. See, that's a little much.
- 1:11:56Speaker 15: Why?
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: Because.
- 1:11:58Speaker 4: Doxing the company.
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:11:59Speaker 9: And we don't know the whole story. Anytime someone names
- 1:12:03Speaker 9: and shames in an obvious effort to get people to,
- 1:12:06Speaker 9: in this case, screw their Yelp review, screw their Google review.
- 1:12:10Speaker 9: Because even though she's an old mom now, Kelly Clarkson
- 1:12:12Speaker 9: still has legions of fans who will do just that.
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: Okay, so the store denied her story, claiming that the
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: item that she wanted to buy wasn't for sale. Kelly responded,
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: calling them liars. Now, they said, yesterday, Kelly Clarkson visited
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: us and inquired about buying Molly, which is a, well,
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: not the. Hey. Yeah, not Molly.
- 1:12:30Speaker 5: She's still down.
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: No, it says a one-of-a-kind singing and dancing bird automation
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: who plays an important role in the magic shows we
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: host here. What kind of store is this?
- 1:12:39Speaker 4: It's like a weird instrument store.
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: Molly is permanently attached to the wall and isn't for sale. However,
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: the negative experience Kelly described on Twitter would resonate with
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: anyone who has ever felt judged in a shop. At
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: Art of Play, whenever somebody comes in to make a purchase,
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: we simply look around for or simply just look around
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: for a while. They're equally welcome. There you go. Thanks
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: to all of our friends for the support and welcome.
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: Welcome to all of the curious folks who have discovered
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: us amidst the drama. We're going to keep our heads
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: down and hopefully we can clear things up with Kelly someday.
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: As a talented, popular singer once said, quote, what doesn't
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: kill you makes you stronger.
- 1:13:36Speaker 7: You just got served.
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: Let's go with the Wizard of Oz, get it? Get it.
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: Now Kelly Clarkson responded to that. Oh, great.
- 1:13:47Speaker 8: Cool.
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: Sure, it wasn't for sale. That's the narrative Art of
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: Play is going to go with. So the whole conversation
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: we had when I asked you if it was for sale, Wiltz,
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: she said Wiltz, pointing to the price tag hanging on
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: the wall with the title Singing Bird didn't happen. As
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: you elevator eyed me in a condescending tone, yes, it's
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: for sale, but it costs $ 15, 000. So if you'd like
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: me to find you something comparable for you, I can.
- 1:14:18Speaker 12: Oh.
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: So she's saying, oh, so there wasn't a sign on
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: the wall saying singing bird, $ 15, 000. And you're looking at
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: me going like, I can find you something comparable. It's yes,
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: but it's $ 15, 000. I can find you something comparable. I'd
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: be like, Ms.
- 1:14:29Speaker 4: Clarkson, do you want two?
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: That all never happened, and now it's not for sale. Okay, cool.
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: So you're only rude, and you're also a liar. Got it.
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: By the way, I obviously support small businesses because I
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: was literally at a small business trying to purchase things.
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: I love small businesses, knowing they're important, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: It's not that hard to be kind. I never blast people,
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: but you, my friend, were an exception. Your store is
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: really cool. Unfortunately, you weren't. I don't know who to blame.
- 1:14:55Speaker 5: So is the bird for sale or not?
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: I think it was for sale. I believe her. I
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: think it was for sale. They go, it's $ 15, 000. Do
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: you want to find something comparable? And didn't realize who
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: she was. Now, did she... act disproportionately to that, okay,
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: I can also believe that. Plus, her premise was so vague.
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: They looked at me in a way that made me uncomfortable. How?
- 1:15:16Speaker 4: How did they look at you?
- 1:15:18Speaker 13: Because it sounds like this is a great item that
- 1:15:21Speaker 13: I bet so many people say, oh, can I buy that?
- 1:15:23Speaker 14: And once they find out it's $ 15, 000, they go, oh, like,
- 1:15:26Speaker 14: they're shocked.
- 1:15:27Speaker 13: So they say, never mind, but we can find you
- 1:15:29Speaker 13: something else.
- 1:15:30Speaker 4: And also, have you ever been to Brooklyn? This is
- 1:15:32Speaker 4: how they act. This is how people who run stores act.
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: Yeah, she's in the wrong. I don't care if the
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: bird's for sale or not for sale. I don't care
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: what happened to that store. She's in the wrong. Yeah. So,
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: I mean, you know, here's the thing, though. If you're
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: that store, I mean, nobody knew you existed.
- 1:15:48Speaker 4: I'm kind of curious about it now.
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: And so now there's a bunch of people, even if
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: they want to, you know, be mad at Kelly and
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: go and support it because of this stuff. Like, I
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: don't see how this is. This is a perfect example of,
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: you know, there's no such thing as negative publicity.
- 1:16:06Speaker 15: Right.
- 1:16:06Speaker 6: Right.
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: In this case, yeah, it works.
- 1:16:08Speaker 14: What was the name of the store?
- 1:16:09Speaker 4: Art of Play.
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: It's called Art of Play. It's in Brooklyn. And it
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: sounds like they sell a lot of really dumb stuff.
- 1:16:15Speaker 7: Yeah, I mean, the store sounds obnoxious.
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: I'm not going to lie.
- 1:16:17Speaker 4: Oh, no, for sure.
- 1:16:18Speaker 7: It looks like one of those, oh, non-toxic, blah, blah, blah.
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: Everything's made of wood and springs. I really don't know
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: anything about it. I don't really truly have an opinion
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: on it. It's called Art of Play, and it's in Brooklyn.
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: I think we can take some guesses. We encourage people
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: to come in and pick things up and play. Puzzles, games,
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: and toys.
- 1:16:34Speaker 4: Birds on the wall.
- 1:16:35Speaker 14: 4.8 stars on Yelp.
- 1:16:37Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: For now, right?
- 1:16:39Speaker 9: And everything's a trillion dollars. There's a puzzle of Earth,
- 1:16:43Speaker 9: 120 bucks. Shape of a specialty incense holder for 120 bucks.
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: Ooh, an incense holder. Wow. Can't put that in a bottle.
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: An Henri Matisse origami kit. That's only 20. Okay. For paper.
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: And apparently Molly the bird is $ 15, 000.
- 1:16:57Speaker 10: $ 15, 000. 877-44-WOODY.
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: Text us over to 22987.
- 1:16:58Speaker 4: All right.
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: Morgan is here.
- 1:17:18Speaker 12: What up?
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: And she went to CatCon.
- 1:17:22Speaker 4: I did again.
- 1:17:23Speaker 6: Oh, wow.
- 1:17:23Speaker 12: Yeah, I just couldn't resist.
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: Her annual pilgrimage to CatCon. Nice. Now, again, tell us
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: what all happens at CatCon. They're just like celebrity cats too, right?
- 1:17:35Speaker 12: Celebrity cats.
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: Oh, sweet.
- 1:17:37Speaker 12: Influencers that have cats. It's like a huge convention center with,
- 1:17:40Speaker 12: you know, tents and booths. You can buy anything you
- 1:17:43Speaker 12: can think of.
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: See, Bess, whatever happened to that one woman that you
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: had a couple times that you talked to? Didn't she
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: have a cat circus? What was that? Oh, yeah. The
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: cat circus. She still tours. Oh, Tuna and the Rock Cats.
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: I've seen her live a couple times. I still follow
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: her on Facebook.
- 1:18:02Speaker 9: She has little cats that climb up Little beams and
- 1:18:05Speaker 9: jump through hoops.
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: Chickens and stuff. Even though she lives in a van
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: with all these cats, she's not that crazy. Yeah, but
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: they have like cat accessories, different things, right? You could
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: adopt cats. See, Sammy, you and your boyfriend could have
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: gone down there.
- 1:18:21Speaker 12: I was expecting to see you guys there.
- 1:18:22Speaker 4: Oh, yeah.
- 1:18:23Speaker 14: We were busy.
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: Maybe he went by himself.
- 1:18:26Speaker 6: Rummaging.
- 1:18:27Speaker 14: Yes, we were rummaging.
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: Busy rummaging. Would you say it was more popular or
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: less popular or the same as last year?
- 1:18:33Speaker 12: You know, I'm going to be honest, you guys, I
- 1:18:35Speaker 12: didn't go inside this year. I just loitered on the
- 1:18:37Speaker 12: outside because I'm like, you know, I didn't want to
- 1:18:40Speaker 12: buy it.
- 1:18:41Speaker 4: You've been there once.
- 1:18:43Speaker 12: I will say the turnout on the outside on the
- 1:18:46Speaker 12: day I went didn't look as poppin as last year.
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: You know what? I kind of feel for a minute
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: the whole cat culture, embracing being a cat lady. A
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: lot of people ran from being a nerd for so long.
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: And then everybody all of a sudden embraced nerdiness and geekiness.
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: And it was so fashionable. I feel like the fashionable
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: cat lady thing has kind of died off. And, you know,
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: cats are not unpopular. But there was a minute there.
- 1:19:14Speaker 4: They had a moment.
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying?
- 1:19:16Speaker 9: I mentioned this earlier, but this was the year that
- 1:19:19Speaker 9: we now have more kittens than cats. So look for two,
- 1:19:23Speaker 9: three years from now for cats to be the thing again.
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: They're back. more kittens than puppies excuse me.
- 1:19:29Speaker 7: More kittens than puppies because like Taylor Swift was a
- 1:19:32Speaker 7: big cat person but now she's.
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: Married oh that makes sense I didn't even think about
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: the Taylor Swift effect.
- 1:19:36Speaker 7: Yeah she doesn't have cats anymore cats are out right
- 1:19:39Speaker 7: now you know people have moved on.
- 1:19:40Speaker 14: She just got a dog actually yeah.
- 1:19:42Speaker 17: What she did what well now I'm gonna get another.
- 1:19:46Speaker 14: One what kind of dog It was a bigger dog.
- 1:19:49Speaker 14: I don't know if it was a husky. It kind
- 1:19:50Speaker 14: of looked like one, maybe a mix.
- 1:19:51Speaker 12: I don't remember, but it was a big one.
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: I can't see Travis Kelsey being a cat dude, though.
- 1:19:55Speaker 4: I think he'll do whatever she wants.
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: I don't see him being very argumentative about it. I
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: think he just kind of shuts up and does what
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: he's told.
- 1:20:02Speaker 4: Oh, yeah, their dog, Wendy.
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: You think so? Yeah, he doesn't seem very smart.
- 1:20:06Speaker 12: You got that.
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: I don't know about smart, but how do you think
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: he is? I don't know. He just seems like a
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: dude's dude. He does. Get along.
- 1:20:17Speaker 4: Go along to get along. I think he was just
- 1:20:20Speaker 4: happy to be there.
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: Yep, exactly.
- 1:20:22Speaker 10: Smile.
- 1:20:23Speaker 7: Yeah, but when he was at the iHeartRadio Music Awards
- 1:20:28Speaker 7: with Taylor Swift, more people were shouting him out and
- 1:20:32Speaker 7: yelling to hang out with him.
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: I've heard nothing about Him being a jerk. All I've
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: ever heard is what a nice dude he is. I
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: believe that. Yeah. There's a buddy of mine, works at
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: a restaurant. He and Mahomes were both in there with
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: a group of people. And they said both of them
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: could not have been nicer. Yeah. Like just super nice.
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: It was nice to hear. Yeah. His brother goes to
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: a lot of- Who? Mahomes' brother?
- 1:20:55Speaker 10: No.
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: No. Oh, Travis's brother. Yeah.
- 1:20:57Speaker 5: Are we talking about Mahomes?
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: Well, I've heard from him in a while. Well, no,
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: I just mentioned Patrick Mahomes. They went together. I thought
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: you said, like, his brother. So I was thinking, like,
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: what's he talking about? The one who's always in trouble. No,
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: he's a jerk. That dude's out. That guy sucks. And Mahomes'
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: wife sucks, too.
- 1:21:12Speaker 7: Yeah. But, yeah, his brother, Jason, very, very cool. Because
- 1:21:16Speaker 7: he's always at, like, Bert Kreischer events and stuff. And then, so, he's, like,
- 1:21:20Speaker 7: hanging around.
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: Very, very nice. All right. Well, Morgan was at CatCon.
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: And talking to the cat ladies. The fanatics. Right.
- 1:21:29Speaker 12: And in the past, I've asked them cat questions. You know,
- 1:21:31Speaker 12: what's your biggest dream in life?
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: Whatever.
- 1:21:33Speaker 12: But I'm like, I need to take this job seriously
- 1:21:36Speaker 12: this time. So I went full investigative reporter mode, okay?
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:21:40Speaker 12: So this first woman is Melissa.
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: And this is a round of Bush or Bear? Yes.
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: All right. Yeah. So it's, again, tradition. asking the cat ladies,
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: like different questions leading up to the final question, which is,
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: are you bush or bear? We then try to take
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: a guess before we get the final answer. And bush
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: is any kind of hair whatsoever. Yeah. The hardwood floors
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: to completely shave. That's bear, obviously. Any kind of like
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: landing strip. Yeah. Any kind of like, you know, just
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: landscaped or whatever. Doesn't have to be full like old
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: school 70s, like jungle bush.
- 1:22:12Speaker 4: Bear or anything else.
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: To count as Bush, yeah. So any hair or bear
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: is basically what it is. All right, so this first person.
- 1:22:18Speaker 12: Melissa, yes.
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: All right, this is Melissa Bush or Bear.
- 1:22:22Speaker 12: I'm an investigative journalist for The Woody Show. Can I
- 1:22:24Speaker 12: ask you a few questions?
- 1:22:25Speaker 10: Sure.
- 1:22:25Speaker 12: What's your name? Melissa. How do you feel about cyber trucks?
- 1:22:29Speaker 12: Do you think they're sexy or kind of lame? I
- 1:22:31Speaker 12: think they look like a garbage truck on wheels. Like
- 1:22:34Speaker 12: one of the big dumpster fire. Yeah, they look like
- 1:22:37Speaker 12: a dumpster on wheels. How do you feel about the
- 1:22:38Speaker 12: death penalty? Depends on the offense. So there was a
- 1:22:41Speaker 12: botched execution recently. What do you feel about that? Bullets
- 1:22:45Speaker 12: would have been cheaper and more effective.
- 1:22:46Speaker 7: All right.
- 1:22:47Speaker 12: So you're into horoscopes at all?
- 1:22:48Speaker 10: Yes.
- 1:22:49Speaker 12: What's your sign? Taurus. So what's the most Taurus-y thing
- 1:22:52Speaker 12: about you?
- 1:22:53Speaker 4: My stubbornness.
- 1:22:56Speaker 12: Israel or Palestine? Don't know enough to have an opinion
- 1:22:59Speaker 12: on that one. And then last question, are you bush
- 1:23:01Speaker 12: or bear?
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: I like this chick. Yeah, she's all over the road.
- 1:23:05Speaker 4: You think bear?
- 1:23:06Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 1:23:07Speaker 12: Yep.
- 1:23:08Speaker 4: I agree.
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: I think there's nothing full Bush hippie about this chick.
- 1:23:12Speaker 7: I mean, she's down for a firing squad.
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: Efficiency. Although she's very stupid about Cybertruck. She's just saying
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: that because she knows it's with the popular opinion. She
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: sounds definitely like somebody who cares about what might get
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: her in trouble for everything. That's the funny thing.
- 1:23:28Speaker 4: I'm going Bush.
- 1:23:29Speaker 12: She has two teen daughters. I don't know if that
- 1:23:31Speaker 12: sways you all.
- 1:23:31Speaker 8: No.
- 1:23:31Speaker 4: I think I'll go Bush.
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: Bush, what'd you say? Bush. Bush, menace?
- 1:23:40Speaker 7: I'm going bear, but.
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: Bear? Bear. Bear?
- 1:23:44Speaker 5: Bear.
- 1:23:44Speaker 7: But the daughter thing kind of... All right, let's find out.
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: Here's Melissa.
- 1:23:47Speaker 12: And then last question, are you bush or bear? Again,
- 1:23:50Speaker 12: don't know enough about either to have an opinion. Oh,
- 1:23:53Speaker 12: I mean, like, do you shave down below, or do
- 1:23:56Speaker 12: you just let it go? We've had laser.
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: Ooh, nice. How long have you been doing that?
- 1:24:02Speaker 6: Um.
- 1:24:02Speaker 12: Over 10 years ago.
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: See, she's selfish. Doesn't even worry about it anymore.
- 1:24:06Speaker 10: We've had.
- 1:24:07Speaker 4: She and the Bush.
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: She caught me off guard.
- 1:24:09Speaker 12: She's like, I don't have an opinion on that.
- 1:24:10Speaker 4: I'm like, I think she thought George Bush.
- 1:24:12Speaker 7: Maybe, maybe.
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: Yeah. Would you rather be in the woods with George
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: Bush or a bear?
- 1:24:17Speaker 4: Yeah, exactly.
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, she went all the way. This is
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: the lasering. I like her. And you know what? Now
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: doesn't even have to worry about it.
- 1:24:24Speaker 4: For 10 years.
- 1:24:25Speaker 12: That's so nice.
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: It's so good, right?
- 1:24:26Speaker 12: Okay, our next girl is Alina. And again, I had
- 1:24:28Speaker 12: to ask her some hard-hitting questions.
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: All right. This is Morgan at CatCon. Round of Bush
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: or bear?
- 1:24:34Speaker 12: My name's Morgan. I'm an investigative journalist for The Woody Show.
- 1:24:37Speaker 12: Can I ask you a few questions?
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: Yes.
- 1:24:39Speaker 12: What's your name? My name's Alina.
- 1:24:40Speaker 4: Alina, we're at CatCon.
- 1:24:42Speaker 12: Are you planning on buying anything here today? Hopefully for
- 1:24:45Speaker 12: my cat. How many cats do you have? Like five
- 1:24:47Speaker 12: or six. You seem unsure. You don't know how many
- 1:24:50Speaker 12: you have?
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: Bush.
- 1:24:53Speaker 12: I have some with different family, different households.
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: No, I have eight.
- 1:24:57Speaker 4: Eight cats.
- 1:24:59Speaker 12: Are they all female?
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: No.
- 1:25:01Speaker 12: Do you have a favorite Hallmark movie?
- 1:25:03Speaker 10: No.
- 1:25:04Speaker 12: I don't really know what Hallmark movie. Lifetime, Lovey Dovey, Rom-Com.
- 1:25:09Speaker 7: No, I've never seen it.
- 1:25:11Speaker 12: The Moon Landing. Do you think it was real or fake?
- 1:25:13Speaker 12: Probably fake. Why do you think so?
- 1:25:16Speaker 10: I don't know.
- 1:25:17Speaker 12: I just can't imagine someone just being on the moon.
- 1:25:20Speaker 12: How do you feel about AI? Are you for or
- 1:25:22Speaker 12: against it? I'm against what it does to the planet,
- 1:25:24Speaker 12: but I do use it for school all the time.
- 1:25:26Speaker 4: Do you cheat?
- 1:25:28Speaker 10: Yes.
- 1:25:29Speaker 12: Man or bear? Which one are you choosing in the woods?
- 1:25:32Speaker 10: Bear.
- 1:25:32Speaker 12: And then last question, are you bush or bear?
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: Okay. She's bush.
- 1:25:37Speaker 4: Her answers track so hard.
- 1:25:39Speaker 8: Bush.
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: She doesn't have an original thought in her head.
- 1:25:43Speaker 12: Oh, that's just mean.
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: That's accurate. Sounds nice enough, but I'm saying Bush. I
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: think Bush. Yeah. Yeah. Maybe because she's young.
- 1:25:53Speaker 12: What's so bushy about it? The cats?
- 1:25:55Speaker 7: No, just her answers are kind of lazy, so I
- 1:25:57Speaker 7: don't think she puts in the effort.
- 1:25:58Speaker 14: Yeah, the way that her voice sounds is lazy.
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: Fat, you mean.
- 1:26:01Speaker 4: Oh my God. I think she, this might be the
- 1:26:04Speaker 4: only thing she puts effort into. Who said that? I'm
- 1:26:06Speaker 4: going to say bear again.
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: You don't even know what she looks like. You're just guessing?
- 1:26:09Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:26:10Speaker 4: He's profiling.
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: Yeah. Okay. So guess. I didn't know if we had
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: like photos or anything.
- 1:26:14Speaker 15: No.
- 1:26:14Speaker 12: And guess what? She was not fat.
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: Yeah. That'd be somewhat cheating.
- 1:26:19Speaker 4: I think she, she doesn't worry about like life and reality,
- 1:26:23Speaker 4: but she worries about her appearance. So I'm going to
- 1:26:25Speaker 4: say bear.
- 1:26:25Speaker 15: Hmm.
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: Yeah. Bush for sure. I'm still sitting with Bush.
- 1:26:28Speaker 15: Bush.
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: Bush.
- 1:26:29Speaker 15: Bush.
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: Bush.
- 1:26:30Speaker 7: Bush.
- 1:26:31Speaker 15: Bush.
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: All right. Let's see. Bush or bear for Alina.
- 1:26:35Speaker 12: Are you bush or bear? What's that mean? Like down below,
- 1:26:39Speaker 12: are you bush or do you shave, laser, waxing?
- 1:26:43Speaker 4: Bear.
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: Bear? Damn it.
- 1:26:45Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:26:45Speaker 13: Wow.
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: No kidding.
- 1:26:46Speaker 4: My theory was sound.
- 1:26:48Speaker 2: Oh, man.
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: Young yeah she'll slip into bush in no time she
- 1:26:53Speaker 1: hit 30 she was young all right uh one more
- 1:26:58Speaker 1: person for the cat con round here of bush or.
- 1:27:02Speaker 12: Bear okay let's talk to callie here.
- 1:27:03Speaker 1: All right this is uh callie what's.
- 1:27:06Speaker 12: Your name i'm callie how many cats do you have
- 1:27:08Speaker 12: i have two i have a co-worker who thinks that
- 1:27:11Speaker 12: all cats are females is that the dumbest take you've
- 1:27:13Speaker 12: ever heard or.
- 1:27:14Speaker 13: What No, I tend to think that as well, but
- 1:27:18Speaker 13: I have had a couple cats that I'm like.
- 1:27:20Speaker 14: Oh, you give off a boy vibe.
- 1:27:22Speaker 12: Like Tater Tot, we thought was a boy. Tater Tot.
- 1:27:25Speaker 12: Then she was pregnant. Do you think the moon landing
- 1:27:28Speaker 12: was real or fake?
- 1:27:29Speaker 1: Oh, I think real. That'd be really cool if it
- 1:27:33Speaker 1: actually happened, so why not?
- 1:27:35Speaker 12: Just trust, believe it. Lindsay Clancy, you have any thoughts
- 1:27:38Speaker 12: on that case?
- 1:27:39Speaker 4: I'm not kept up with it at all.
- 1:27:42Speaker 12: Death penalty. Are you for or against the death penalty?
- 1:27:45Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:27:46Speaker 12: Also a very hard one.
- 1:27:48Speaker 14: I think it depends on the case.
- 1:27:50Speaker 12: Man or bear in the woods, which one are you picking?
- 1:27:52Speaker 1: Oh, bear in the woods.
- 1:27:54Speaker 12: Israel or Palestine? Oh, I haven't kept up with that either.
- 1:27:58Speaker 12: My Instagram and TikTok feeds are cats. And then last
- 1:28:01Speaker 12: question for you. Down below, are you bush or bear?
- 1:28:03Speaker 4: I like her. I like the honesty. This one's kind
- 1:28:08Speaker 4: of in the middle for me.
- 1:28:10Speaker 1: Yeah, this one I think is the trickiest one so far.
- 1:28:12Speaker 12: Oh, and she was there with her man, so she
- 1:28:15Speaker 12: has a man.
- 1:28:15Speaker 1: Oh, she was. Okay, I was going to say she
- 1:28:16Speaker 1: sounds kind of goody-goody.
- 1:28:17Speaker 12: I will say that.
- 1:28:19Speaker 1: I don't like how just her tone when she was saying, bear.
- 1:28:25Speaker 1: What a stupid question. Like a random man or a
- 1:28:28Speaker 1: bear in the woods?
- 1:28:29Speaker 15: A bear?
- 1:28:29Speaker 1: They think they're being so funny when they say that.
- 1:28:31Speaker 4: I think that's a self-selecting group at CatCon.
- 1:28:33Speaker 12: Yeah, Yeah. And talking to me, a woman, they're probably like,
- 1:28:36Speaker 12: you get it, girl.
- 1:28:37Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:28:37Speaker 1: Right, girl?
- 1:28:37Speaker 4: We're picking the bear.
- 1:28:38Speaker 1: I've been curious how this is being an investigative reporter, though.
- 1:28:41Speaker 12: That's a joke, Seabass.
- 1:28:42Speaker 1: I understand. Okay. I don't know. Okay.
- 1:28:44Speaker 4: God, this is the trickiest one.
- 1:28:47Speaker 1: I'm going to say Bush. Bush?
- 1:28:49Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm going to say Bush, too.
- 1:28:50Speaker 1: Just because. I look great. My gut's saying bear. She
- 1:28:53Speaker 1: seems a little goody-goody.
- 1:28:56Speaker 12: And that seems bushy to you?
- 1:28:57Speaker 1: Yeah. Goody Goody seems bush? Absolutely.
- 1:29:00Speaker 4: Like she's not focused on that area.
- 1:29:02Speaker 1: I think Goody Goody, yeah. To me, that says bush.
- 1:29:07Speaker 1: All right. Sammy?
- 1:29:08Speaker 15: Bear.
- 1:29:08Speaker 1: Bear, Seabass? I'm going to go bush, but light bush.
- 1:29:11Speaker 1: Light bush.
- 1:29:12Speaker 4: Diet bush.
- 1:29:13Speaker 1: All right, let's see. Callie, bush or bear?
- 1:29:15Speaker 12: Down below, are you bush or bear?
- 1:29:19Speaker 10: Bush.
- 1:29:20Speaker 5: Yeah, rip.
- 1:29:21Speaker 7: Let's go.
- 1:29:22Speaker 1: This is my worst round ever. Finally found a busher.
- 1:29:25Speaker 2: So yeah.
- 1:29:26Speaker 1: Is Bush still making a comeback?
- 1:29:28Speaker 12: I'm not sure because she was the only girl with
- 1:29:31Speaker 12: Bush that I talked to that day.
- 1:29:31Speaker 1: Weren't you saying somewhat recently that Bush was back?
- 1:29:35Speaker 7: That was about a year ago.
- 1:29:36Speaker 1: That was over the summer, I thought. Summer's not that
- 1:29:39Speaker 1: long ago.
- 1:29:39Speaker 4: No, that's what I'm saying.
- 1:29:41Speaker 12: Yeah, not full Bush, but I think something.
- 1:29:43Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:29:45Speaker 4: Keep it real.
- 1:29:46Speaker 7: I think they started talking about it like a year
- 1:29:48Speaker 7: ago and then said, you know what?
- 1:29:49Speaker 1: Never mind. Then it was.
- 1:29:50Speaker 13: I tried to make that happen.
- 1:29:53Speaker 12: We don't like this.
- 1:29:55Speaker 1: Like maybe you've seen it in magazines and stuff. Then
- 1:29:57Speaker 1: you buy it and you try it on. You're like, oh,
- 1:30:00Speaker 1: I can't pull this off.
- 1:30:02Speaker 7: I will say this, though. Armpit hair with female artists.
- 1:30:06Speaker 1: That sucks. That's big. That is so good. Dude, I
- 1:30:09Speaker 1: don't know what it is. about chicks with armpit hair.
- 1:30:13Speaker 1: It gives me full body douche chills. It's just... So unexpected.
- 1:30:20Speaker 1: When people talk about a reaction to trypophobia. That's you. Yeah,
- 1:30:24Speaker 1: it's kind of the same thing.
- 1:30:27Speaker 4: It's jarring. For $ 10, 000, would you lick a chick's bushy armpit?
- 1:30:32Speaker 10: No.
- 1:30:32Speaker 12: For $ 10, 000.
- 1:30:33Speaker 1: I wouldn't lick their non-hairy armpit.
- 1:30:36Speaker 7: Greg, do you want to give your answer with me?
- 1:30:38Speaker 8: No.
- 1:30:38Speaker 1: For 10 grand? Yeah, one, two, three. I'd do it
- 1:30:41Speaker 1: for one grand. Also $ 10. Or 10. Yeah, for whatever.
- 1:30:49Speaker 1: I find that so, I don't know, so gross.
- 1:30:53Speaker 8: It is.
- 1:30:53Speaker 1: It's just so unexpected. I know it's unfair, ladies. I
- 1:30:56Speaker 1: know it's unfair.
- 1:30:57Speaker 12: No, it's not. It's normal to want to look at
- 1:31:00Speaker 12: a girl that's girly.
- 1:31:01Speaker 1: It's what I've become accustomed to, okay? Thank you. Don't
- 1:31:04Speaker 1: judge me. You know their legs have hair.
- 1:31:05Speaker 4: Well, it's the American way because in some cultures it's like,
- 1:31:08Speaker 4: that's cool. You know, like European.
- 1:31:10Speaker 1: Neat.
- 1:31:11Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:31:11Speaker 1: I love that when people bring that up as the argument.
- 1:31:13Speaker 15: Normal.
- 1:31:14Speaker 1: In some cultures. In some cultures, they chop off girls'
- 1:31:16Speaker 1: things down there. Or they talk about, you know, oh,
- 1:31:19Speaker 1: my God, you're eating snails? Well, it's, you know, it's
- 1:31:22Speaker 1: a delicacy.
- 1:31:23Speaker 15: Well, neat.
- 1:31:23Speaker 6: Cool.
- 1:31:24Speaker 1: In reality, it's not.
- 1:31:25Speaker 6: Right.
- 1:31:26Speaker 4: I've never and have no desire to and do not
- 1:31:28Speaker 4: know how to bake cookies from scratch.
- 1:31:31Speaker 1: The other thing, as a full-grown adult, it's kind of embarrassing.
- 1:31:33Speaker 1: I don't know how to drive a stick. I've been
- 1:31:43Speaker 1: texting you over to 22987 and said, My confidence went
- 1:31:45Speaker 1: way up when I just found out how penis length
- 1:31:49Speaker 1: is measured by urologists and clinical researchers. They use the
- 1:31:54Speaker 1: bone-pressed erect length method.
- 1:31:56Speaker 4: So that means.
- 1:31:57Speaker 9: Press the ruler. You get a firm ruler and stick
- 1:32:01Speaker 9: that against the pubic bone. So if you're getting fat
- 1:32:05Speaker 9: and you have a big old... FUPA, as a guy,
- 1:32:08Speaker 9: this accounts for that fat or it gets rid of that.
- 1:32:11Speaker 1: Because they kind of like push it in. Right. The ruler.
- 1:32:13Speaker 1: So it's from the pubic bone.
- 1:32:15Speaker 5: Keep pushing.
- 1:32:16Speaker 1: Pubic bone to tip. I think you can go deeper.
- 1:32:18Speaker 1: Push it harder. But from the top. On the top. Yeah,
- 1:32:21Speaker 1: you don't measure from underneath. The dorsal side, not the
- 1:32:23Speaker 1: ventral side. Every guy pretty much knows that rule. Ladies,
- 1:32:26Speaker 1: you might not know that.
- 1:32:27Speaker 3: No.
- 1:32:27Speaker 1: You don't measure from the bottom. It's the old Adam
- 1:32:29Speaker 1: Carolla joke.
- 1:32:30Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 1:32:31Speaker 4: Twice around the bag.
- 1:32:32Speaker 1: Down the shaft, twice around the balls, through the eggs.
- 1:32:34Speaker 1: Just past the tip.
- 1:32:35Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:32:36Speaker 1: Circle back a few times. Yeah.
- 1:32:38Speaker 10: All right.
- 1:32:39Speaker 1: Morgan, cheers and jeers.
- 1:32:42Speaker 12: Well, cheers to warehouse parties, y'all. I went to this
- 1:32:45Speaker 12: big warehouse downtown and there were fights, like amateur MMA fights.
- 1:32:50Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 1:32:51Speaker 12: Michael Bisbing's son was fighting. This guy, John McCain was fighting.
- 1:32:54Speaker 12: Not the real John McCain.
- 1:32:55Speaker 1: The real John McCain. Yeah, he's gone.
- 1:32:58Speaker 12: Menace, we knew a girl that was fighting, or you
- 1:33:00Speaker 12: know a girl. But yeah, they were partnered with Street Fighter,
- 1:33:02Speaker 12: the movie that's coming out. And it was just, it
- 1:33:05Speaker 12: was so sick. Like, I don't know how to describe it.
- 1:33:07Speaker 12: It was rustic and.
- 1:33:08Speaker 1: Was it like Bloodsport?
- 1:33:09Speaker 12: Gritty.
- 1:33:10Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 1:33:10Speaker 12: What is Bloodsport?
- 1:33:11Speaker 1: Oh my God. What? It's before your time. You ever
- 1:33:14Speaker 1: heard of Bloodsport? Frank, oh, Gone with the Wind came
- 1:33:16Speaker 1: out before my grandmother was born. I've seen it. But
- 1:33:18Speaker 1: I'm saying, if somebody's into fighting, I'm surprised you haven't heard,
- 1:33:20Speaker 1: you know, Bloodsport.
- 1:33:22Speaker 12: I've never even seen Fight Club.
- 1:33:24Speaker 4: Oh, that movie's surprising.
- 1:33:24Speaker 10: Oh, yeah?
- 1:33:25Speaker 4: I didn't know.
- 1:33:25Speaker 1: That's surprising. God, it's great.
- 1:33:26Speaker 12: I hear about it all the time. But man, it
- 1:33:28Speaker 12: was awesome. And it probably was what you're saying, Steve-Ass,
- 1:33:30Speaker 12: but just gritty and dirty.
- 1:33:32Speaker 7: It looked cool for a movie.
- 1:33:33Speaker 12: Shout out to everyone that put that together. It was
- 1:33:35Speaker 12: just such a great event. My jeers, it's kind of
- 1:33:38Speaker 12: a double jeers. It goes to me, first of all,
- 1:33:40Speaker 12: because I spent... And I'm not exaggerating here. Probably four
- 1:33:43Speaker 12: to five hours watching Blueface and Krishan's Rocks live streams
- 1:33:47Speaker 12: this weekend.
- 1:33:48Speaker 1: I always wonder who does that.
- 1:33:49Speaker 18: Oh, my.
- 1:33:50Speaker 12: Well, a lot of people. And I could not stop
- 1:33:53Speaker 12: watching it. Oh, my God. There's like just them cooking
- 1:33:56Speaker 12: in the kitchen.
- 1:33:56Speaker 5: Are they streaming on kick?
- 1:33:58Speaker 12: Yeah, on kick.
- 1:33:59Speaker 10: Why?
- 1:33:59Speaker 1: Like, why couldn't you turn it off?
- 1:34:01Speaker 12: I don't know.
- 1:34:02Speaker 1: You can't point to it?
- 1:34:03Speaker 12: I have a thing with Krishan because I will fight
- 1:34:05Speaker 12: her someday. I'm coming after her and she knows it.
- 1:34:08Speaker 12: And they're just so entertaining to me. But my second
- 1:34:11Speaker 12: jeers goes to this woman named Tessa, okay? I think
- 1:34:14Speaker 12: it's Krishan's sister. I'm not sure. Greg, this woman cooked
- 1:34:17Speaker 12: a big feast for them, for the whole family all weekend.
- 1:34:21Speaker 12: she left the water running out of the faucet like
- 1:34:24Speaker 12: for two straight hours when she was cooking.
- 1:34:26Speaker 4: Oh, hell no.
- 1:34:27Speaker 12: And the whole time I'm watching it like, turn off
- 1:34:28Speaker 12: the water.
- 1:34:29Speaker 1: Yeah, right.
- 1:34:29Speaker 12: And then I'm yelling at myself like, why are you
- 1:34:31Speaker 12: watching this crap?
- 1:34:32Speaker 8: You know?
- 1:34:32Speaker 1: And you spent five hours?
- 1:34:35Speaker 12: Like two hours Friday, a little, probably two hours or
- 1:34:38Speaker 12: more Saturday.
- 1:34:39Speaker 7: Now I saw some clips.
- 1:34:40Speaker 12: It's really sad.
- 1:34:43Speaker 1: At least you recognize.
- 1:34:44Speaker 7: Not her sister cooking, but her like cooking. Did you
- 1:34:47Speaker 7: watch that where she was taking the lid and like,
- 1:34:49Speaker 7: what was going on with that?
- 1:34:51Speaker 12: Yeah, with the food all over her face?
- 1:34:53Speaker 7: No, so she had, like, a pot on the stove,
- 1:34:57Speaker 7: and then she took the lid, and then she was
- 1:34:58Speaker 7: taking the lid, and just, like, rubbing it, like, on
- 1:35:02Speaker 7: top of the pot, like, back and forth, like, crazy.
- 1:35:05Speaker 7: And people were like, what the hell is going on?
- 1:35:08Speaker 1: How many people watch this?
- 1:35:09Speaker 7: This is just clip. I didn't watch the live stream.
- 1:35:11Speaker 1: Who do we need the blue face live stream recap show?
- 1:35:13Speaker 1: Because it's got to piss so many people off who are, like,
- 1:35:15Speaker 1: super creative, super talented, writing really, like, brilliant, like, screenplays.
- 1:35:20Speaker 6: Yep.
- 1:35:20Speaker 1: You know, coming up with these great concepts for, you know,
- 1:35:23Speaker 1: shows or plays or whatever.
- 1:35:25Speaker 7: Or movies that bomb in the movie.
- 1:35:26Speaker 4: Meanwhile.
- 1:35:26Speaker 12: And there's thousands of people watching them.
- 1:35:28Speaker 1: Meanwhile, Blueface and... Krishan. Krishan.
- 1:35:32Speaker 12: Yeah, say it right. And Krishan Jr., I love that baby.
- 1:35:34Speaker 1: Just has a camera on while they're... cooking right and
- 1:35:38Speaker 1: letting the water run well it's because they're so funny
- 1:35:40Speaker 1: and interesting well they're not there's everybody seems to know there's.
- 1:35:43Speaker 12: Something calming about it maybe watching it knowing like wow
- 1:35:46Speaker 12: my life's not that effed up you know like well
- 1:35:49Speaker 12: it's just calming i have.
- 1:35:50Speaker 7: Two questions it should tell you how many people are streaming.
- 1:35:53Speaker 12: When i was watching it was like 7 000 ish
- 1:35:55Speaker 12: at the.
- 1:35:55Speaker 1: Time my god yeah guy said he's making yeah six
- 1:35:57Speaker 1: figures a month just off the streaming.
- 1:35:59Speaker 12: Oh they make a lot and krishan why why was
- 1:36:01Speaker 12: she doing that weird stuff menace i think she's on
- 1:36:03Speaker 12: drugs Oh, you know, she should not be with blue face,
- 1:36:06Speaker 12: but that's just my opinion.
- 1:36:07Speaker 1: I've never heard of any of these people until working
- 1:36:10Speaker 1: on this show. Oh, the young people know them.
- 1:36:13Speaker 10: I don't know.
- 1:36:13Speaker 1: I'm saying, but like when, you know, it wasn't like
- 1:36:16Speaker 1: a topic of conversation anywhere, but like it came up
- 1:36:20Speaker 1: here and like.
- 1:36:21Speaker 9: What the hell is a blue face? Jeff G's kids
- 1:36:24Speaker 9: apparently watch this crap too. They're 15 year old boys.
- 1:36:26Speaker 1: So I understand.
- 1:36:29Speaker 12: It was a jeers to me too, Seabass. I'm not
- 1:36:32Speaker 12: proud of it.
- 1:36:32Speaker 1: I was at a bar, Morgan, with DJ Tim Martinez.
- 1:36:36Speaker 12: Okay.
- 1:36:36Speaker 17: And I embarrassed the hell out of him because the bartender,
- 1:36:39Speaker 17: she would keep the faucet going and then turn around
- 1:36:43Speaker 17: and make complicated orders of food. very complicated drinks, four
- 1:36:47Speaker 17: at a time, and then slowly walk back to the
- 1:36:49Speaker 17: sink and wash something, and then keep it running, walk away.
- 1:36:52Speaker 17: And I finally had to call her over. I said,
- 1:36:54Speaker 17: excuse me.
- 1:36:55Speaker 1: I've had this sink on for so long, and Tim
- 1:36:58Speaker 1: was like, oh my God.
- 1:37:00Speaker 12: No, as you should, because these people don't realize they're
- 1:37:02Speaker 12: doing it.
- 1:37:03Speaker 1: They're oblivious. And that's the thing. Everybody's in a fog.
- 1:37:05Speaker 1: Everybody needs to be alert. And then people say.
- 1:37:07Speaker 17: Well, they're just not thinking about it. And my answer is,
- 1:37:10Speaker 17: then think about it.
- 1:37:11Speaker 7: No, it's true.
- 1:37:12Speaker 12: I watched this woman leave the room and the faucet's running.
- 1:37:14Speaker 12: I'm like, oh, it's driving me crazy. So, cheers to.
- 1:37:18Speaker 4: Me overall, though.
- 1:37:19Speaker 1: Also, the sentence, she shouldn't be with blue face, can
- 1:37:21Speaker 1: literally be applied to every woman ever. Yeah.
- 1:37:24Speaker 7: Oh, yeah, that's true.
- 1:37:25Speaker 1: You should never be with a guy named Blueface. Yeah,
- 1:37:27Speaker 1: it's kind of weird that anybody knows who that is,
- 1:37:30Speaker 1: you know? Why? I couldn't pick him out of the lineup.
- 1:37:32Speaker 7: I mean, he puts out music, so that's why people
- 1:37:34Speaker 7: know who he is.
- 1:37:35Speaker 1: Oh, you'd know him, Greg.
- 1:37:36Speaker 12: He has a Chase Bank tattoo on his head.
- 1:37:38Speaker 1: What?
- 1:37:39Speaker 12: You know, I think he's got Benjamin Franklin on his face.
- 1:37:41Speaker 1: I don't know. I guess people who go by a
- 1:37:43Speaker 1: name like Blueface or whatever, you hear about... these kind
- 1:37:46Speaker 1: of things, you're like, man, I wish people did know
- 1:37:48Speaker 1: about that. Do we have any of his music? He
- 1:37:50Speaker 1: only has one single I'm seeing.
- 1:37:51Speaker 12: Yeah, Bust It Down, Tatiana.
- 1:37:52Speaker 7: Yeah, Tatiana.
- 1:37:53Speaker 5: That was a big song.
- 1:37:54Speaker 4: He's got more.
- 1:37:54Speaker 1: And then also he did a bunch of reality TV
- 1:37:56Speaker 1: show stuff.
- 1:37:57Speaker 12: Didn't Prashan come from Baddies from the Zeus Network?
- 1:37:59Speaker 1: Well, again, yes. It's a very niche. Yeah, Blue Cantra,
- 1:38:04Speaker 1: Blue Highway, Blue October, Blue Oyster Cult, Blue Stones, Blue.
- 1:38:08Speaker 4: Suede, Blue Wednesday, Blue Face.
- 1:38:11Speaker 1: Oh, wait. Blue Face.
- 1:38:13Speaker 4: Blue Face Baby.
- 1:38:13Speaker 7: Uh-huh.
- 1:38:15Speaker 1: Thoughtiana? Yeah. Make sure it's clean.
- 1:38:18Speaker 12: 2018.
- 1:38:18Speaker 1: Well, it's in our system.
- 1:38:19Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:38:22Speaker 10: Oh, yeah.
- 1:38:22Speaker 7: This is a banger.
- 1:38:23Speaker 1: This is? Greg will tell us.
- 1:38:25Speaker 8: All right.
- 1:38:26Speaker 1: What do you think here, Greg? Blueface, baby. Yeah. Blueface, baby.
- 1:38:31Speaker 4: You know the dance? There's a dance? Will you please
- 1:38:34Speaker 4: do it?
- 1:38:35Speaker 1: Yeah, of course.
- 1:38:36Speaker 15: Okay.
- 1:38:36Speaker 1: I want to see Buzz dance. you gotta like grab
- 1:38:43Speaker 1: your crotch and put your head around ideally you.
- 1:38:46Speaker 12: Got a girl on your head yeah of course does
- 1:38:48Speaker 12: it ever like pick off.
- 1:38:49Speaker 7: Oh no this is as good as it gets oh
- 1:38:53Speaker 7: okay sammy i've never already.
- 1:38:56Speaker 1: Built I've never loved that break sign that you hold
- 1:39:09Speaker 1: more than I do right this second.
- 1:39:10Speaker 7: I know, but CBS says niche. Like, dude, there's bands
- 1:39:13Speaker 7: that we talk about and play that could not get
- 1:39:15Speaker 7: 7,000 people.
- 1:39:16Speaker 1: To stream them.
- 1:39:17Speaker 9: I was going to say, it's niche, but I was
- 1:39:18Speaker 9: at Morgan's Fight, and every woman of the 100 or
- 1:39:21Speaker 9: whatever thousand people that were in that ballroom knew every
- 1:39:24Speaker 9: single person involved.
- 1:39:24Speaker 1: Yeah, so you might think it's niche. Of course. There
- 1:39:27Speaker 1: are groups of people who know what's.
- 1:39:30Speaker 4: Going on in their corner.
- 1:39:31Speaker 1: But that's where we are now with the internet and
- 1:39:33Speaker 1: social media or whatever. Nobody's like, Very few people are
- 1:39:37Speaker 1: globally or even nationally popular to a great degree. It's
- 1:39:42Speaker 1: so segmented. It's like little pockets of fandom here and
- 1:39:47Speaker 1: there and whatever. It's not like the one thing that everybody...
- 1:39:52Speaker 1: Global household. It's harder to keep up with because of that.
- 1:39:56Speaker 1: I have a friend who collects incredibly hard to find.
- 1:39:59Speaker 17: old light bulbs, and he goes to these conventions, and
- 1:40:04Speaker 17: they are packed, so don't tell me that.
- 1:40:06Speaker 7: You know what I'm saying?
- 1:40:08Speaker 1: There's something for everybody.
- 1:40:10Speaker 14: Yeah, talk about those Edison bulbs.
- 1:40:11Speaker 1: Yeah, that's what it's like. Greg, who was Greg? Were
- 1:40:14Speaker 1: you with me? Where were we that there was a
- 1:40:19Speaker 1: pen convention? Oh, yeah, we were.
- 1:40:21Speaker 6: St.
- 1:40:21Speaker 3: Louis.
- 1:40:22Speaker 17: It was you, me, and Gina, and we're checking into
- 1:40:24Speaker 17: our hotel. They had welcome pen conventioneers.
- 1:40:26Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like all these, like, pen dorks. Just pen dorks.
- 1:40:29Speaker 1: Who are, like, into pens.
- 1:40:30Speaker 4: And it was a sold-out hotel.
- 1:40:32Speaker 2: Sold out.
- 1:40:33Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:40:33Speaker 15: Oh, yeah.
- 1:40:34Speaker 7: Were you ripping out?
- 1:40:35Speaker 1: Oh, I was so excited. They're, like, wheeling in all
- 1:40:38Speaker 1: these displays to show off the pens.
- 1:40:40Speaker 15: That's right.
- 1:40:41Speaker 1: Rip. Big sign on the marquee. It's pen weekend. Seabass. Yeah,
- 1:40:46Speaker 1: there's blue face fans. Cheers and jeers.
- 1:40:48Speaker 9: Cheers to the very special Woody Show listener who got
- 1:40:50Speaker 9: a super special treat.
- 1:40:51Speaker 1: And I'm not talking about the girl who's getting boob implants.
- 1:40:53Speaker 1: That's still in the works and happening. But Sunday morning,
- 1:40:56Speaker 1: 7 a.m., I'm out doing what I usually do at
- 1:40:59Speaker 1: that time, cutting signs loose off light poles. Cleaning your neighborhood. Yeah.
- 1:41:04Speaker 1: And as I'm with my.
- 1:41:05Speaker 9: Angle grinder cutting a bike lock to get this loser's
- 1:41:08Speaker 9: sign off the light pole, which he should be fined
- 1:41:10Speaker 9: for illegally, some guy's like, Hey.
- 1:41:13Speaker 7: Are you Seabass from the Woody show?
- 1:41:15Speaker 1: He stopped his car, got out. Like, I didn't, I
- 1:41:18Speaker 1: never thought I'd see this in real life.
- 1:41:19Speaker 7: He's going over to me like, yeah, man, how's it going?
- 1:41:21Speaker 1: I think he texted in earlier. So you really do
- 1:41:23Speaker 1: this stuff.
- 1:41:23Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 1:41:24Speaker 1: He's like, I'm like cutting signs off. He's like, yeah,
- 1:41:26Speaker 1: not that I didn't believe you. It's just, it's so
- 1:41:28Speaker 1: interesting to see in real life. He's like, And I said, yeah,
- 1:41:30Speaker 1: nice to meet you. I think his name's Adam. You
- 1:41:31Speaker 1: should live stream it. 7,000 people will watch it. I
- 1:41:34Speaker 1: would watch it. The thing is, it takes literally, as
- 1:41:37Speaker 1: I said, 30 seconds to cut one of those signs
- 1:41:39Speaker 1: loose and costs them so much money. So it's number one,
- 1:41:42Speaker 1: it's satisfying. I get the satisfaction of cleaning up the neighborhood.
- 1:41:45Speaker 1: And I know that they're losing money. You also don't
- 1:41:46Speaker 1: want to document that, have that out there because somebody
- 1:41:48Speaker 1: will come after you. Please come after me. Auto tint guy.
- 1:41:53Speaker 4: Okay, Jonah Hill.
- 1:41:54Speaker 1: Thank you. Please. So cheers to him. He got a
- 1:41:57Speaker 1: little special treat. He was very nice. Said hi. A
- 1:41:59Speaker 1: special treat.
- 1:42:00Speaker 7: A special treat.
- 1:42:02Speaker 1: He was so lucky. He got to meet me.
- 1:42:05Speaker 5: He got to hang out with me.
- 1:42:07Speaker 1: And I'm cheersing him for his kind attitude and his
- 1:42:09Speaker 1: happiness to see me. Yeah.
- 1:42:11Speaker 9: Cheers to guys who still in this day and age
- 1:42:14Speaker 9: try the hard sell. Another thing I was doing on
- 1:42:17Speaker 9: my weekend is I was touring the local nursery looking
- 1:42:19Speaker 9: for plants to plant.
- 1:42:21Speaker 1: I was about to say. This is his new thing.
- 1:42:24Speaker 1: His new fixation. And I walk up just as they're
- 1:42:27Speaker 1: opening and I'm like, are you looking for anything? And
- 1:42:29Speaker 1: I'm just going to tour the fruit trees in the back.
- 1:42:30Speaker 1: He's like, okay, I'll be back there in a little bit.
- 1:42:32Speaker 1: He's like, yeah, okay, no rush. Comes back. Like, okay, yeah,
- 1:42:35Speaker 1: these are these, this size is a hundred bucks. These
- 1:42:37Speaker 1: ones are a thousand. You can get some seedlings, blah, blah, blah.
- 1:42:39Speaker 1: So which ones we taking home today? And I gave him,
- 1:42:44Speaker 1: I was like, I don't even want to have this conversation. Like, well,
- 1:42:46Speaker 1: you know, I can't make the decision. You know, the
- 1:42:48Speaker 1: old ball and chain got to be out here.
- 1:42:50Speaker 4: Put her on the rack.
- 1:42:51Speaker 1: Yeah, so she's not there. Forget that I'm not wearing
- 1:42:53Speaker 1: a wedding band of any kind. He's like, oh, okay.
- 1:42:56Speaker 1: When will she be by?
- 1:42:56Speaker 4: I'm like, Jesus Christ, dude.
- 1:42:58Speaker 1: Can you not take a goddamn hint? This isn't the 1950s.
- 1:43:00Speaker 1: I don't need to be hard sold on everything. He's
- 1:43:03Speaker 1: lucky I didn't give him a piece of my mind.
- 1:43:05Speaker 1: But in this day and age, who's hard selling? A
- 1:43:09Speaker 1: lemon tree.
- 1:43:11Speaker 14: People who need to make money.
- 1:43:13Speaker 4: Did you get a commission on lemon trees?
- 1:43:16Speaker 1: It's probably his nursery.
- 1:43:17Speaker 7: Dude, it happens to me at the mall still all
- 1:43:19Speaker 7: the time.
- 1:43:20Speaker 1: Greg, this was a big chain nursery. And you know
- 1:43:23Speaker 1: what he did?
- 1:43:24Speaker 9: He guaranteed he will not get a sale by trying
- 1:43:26Speaker 9: to hard sell me because I'm like, well, I don't
- 1:43:27Speaker 9: want to be here.
- 1:43:28Speaker 1: I don't want to be pressured. I'm at a nursery
- 1:43:30Speaker 1: at 9 a.m. on a Sunday morning. I clearly am
- 1:43:32Speaker 1: not like rushing for anything.
- 1:43:33Speaker 17: There's this nursery in my neighborhood. Good luck finding anybody
- 1:43:37Speaker 17: who even works there. I'd rather get the hard sell,
- 1:43:39Speaker 17: to be honest.
- 1:43:41Speaker 1: Yes.
- 1:43:41Speaker 12: It's what the people want.
- 1:43:46Speaker 1: I knew when it devolved into nursery talk, I'm like,
- 1:43:49Speaker 1: maybe Blueface is the way to go.
- 1:43:50Speaker 12: Those are your choices.
- 1:43:52Speaker 1: Blueface. This is Bleeding. You guys know this song, right? Yes.
- 1:43:57Speaker 1: We're going to take a quick break. More of what
- 1:44:02Speaker 1: he shows next. Hang on. We'll be right back. Hi,
- 1:44:36Speaker 1: welcome back, everybody. After the show, the same number that
- 1:44:42Speaker 1: you're calling in during the show, 877-44-WOODY becomes the After
- 1:44:47Speaker 1: Hours voicemail. Actually, we did get one about Greg.
- 1:44:51Speaker 6: Oh, no.
- 1:44:51Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:44:51Speaker 1: I mean, there's always something about all of us in there.
- 1:44:55Speaker 1: What do we got? Let's see. Here we go. After
- 1:44:57Speaker 1: Hours voicemail.
- 1:44:58Speaker 15: I wouldn't say I'm drunk, but I am a man.
- 1:45:01Speaker 6: And.
- 1:45:03Speaker 15: Greg? I love Greg, or Gregory, whatever we call him.
- 1:45:11Speaker 15: I love him so much. And I can feel myself
- 1:45:14Speaker 15: going a little bit gay. Nice. If I got to
- 1:45:18Speaker 15: see you guys and hang out with you guys, and
- 1:45:20Speaker 15: Greg got drunk and wanted to give me a mouth party,
- 1:45:22Speaker 15: I think I'd be cool with it.
- 1:45:27Speaker 1: Oh, really?
- 1:45:27Speaker 15: I swear to God, I'm not gay.
- 1:45:29Speaker 12: Okay.
- 1:45:29Speaker 15: I have to keep my eyes closed, but.
- 1:45:33Speaker 15: I think you could do it.
- 1:45:34Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:45:35Speaker 15: Wow.
- 1:45:35Speaker 4: I think it just came out.
- 1:45:36Speaker 1: You could sit back and receive. Yeah. What a hero.
- 1:45:39Speaker 5: That's what Greg does.
- 1:45:40Speaker 7: He just loves throwing them out there.
- 1:45:42Speaker 1: That's true. Everybody. Come on, come on. Do you enjoy
- 1:45:45Speaker 1: doing it? With Mario? Do you enjoy giving mouth parties?
- 1:45:49Speaker 4: The act of the mouth party.
- 1:45:49Speaker 14: Of course.
- 1:45:50Speaker 1: Well, no, it's not of course because there's a lot
- 1:45:52Speaker 1: of women. For me, it is. There's a lot of
- 1:45:53Speaker 1: women that I hear say like, ugh, God, they'll do
- 1:45:57Speaker 1: it because they love their husband or they love their boyfriend,
- 1:45:59Speaker 1: but they don't really, they're not really, they're not really
- 1:46:02Speaker 1: into it. I think you may have mistaken Greg for
- 1:46:04Speaker 1: a middle-aged housewife. Yeah.
- 1:46:06Speaker 4: He's an insatiable man. I'm a tight woman.
- 1:46:07Speaker 1: But I'm one, What I'm wondering is, is this a
- 1:46:12Speaker 1: difference between, like, you know, hetero women and gay dudes? Like,
- 1:46:15Speaker 1: do gay dudes as a whole enjoy it? Absolutely. Not
- 1:46:21Speaker 1: receiving the giving? Absolutely. There's many times where I would.
- 1:46:25Speaker 1: How do we phrase this? I will give... And then say,
- 1:46:28Speaker 1: but I'm good. I don't need any. Like, really?
- 1:46:31Speaker 7: Of course.
- 1:46:31Speaker 1: Wow.
- 1:46:32Speaker 2: Wow.
- 1:46:32Speaker 1: That's cool. I like it. He's just driving along. Kind
- 1:46:36Speaker 1: of selling gay, dude. No, it rules.
- 1:46:38Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:46:40Speaker 1: And you don't have to make a big thing out
- 1:46:42Speaker 1: of it.
- 1:46:42Speaker 17: You just be on the couch watching TV.
- 1:46:44Speaker 1: Ladies, let me ask the ladies. So what is that?
- 1:46:46Speaker 1: Is that just like a thing you're supposed to say?
- 1:46:47Speaker 1: Kind of like how guys are like, you know, the
- 1:46:49Speaker 1: ball and chain or like, oh, you're supposed to, you're
- 1:46:51Speaker 1: supposed to not like your in-laws. Like, is it one
- 1:46:54Speaker 1: of those things that you just, It's just become cliche.
- 1:46:57Speaker 1: You say you're not into it or you really just
- 1:47:00Speaker 1: aren't into it. How much do you love it?
- 1:47:01Speaker 4: Yeah, I think it's okay. It's fine. I mean, I'm
- 1:47:04Speaker 4: not like... You don't love it like Greg loves it.
- 1:47:06Speaker 1: No.
- 1:47:07Speaker 4: I think it's absolutely fine.
- 1:47:09Speaker 1: Or do you do it just because you love your
- 1:47:11Speaker 1: husband or girlfriend?
- 1:47:12Speaker 4: Yeah, I do it because the person likes getting it.
- 1:47:15Speaker 4: It's not because, look, I got to do this right
- 1:47:17Speaker 4: now or I'm going to die.
- 1:47:17Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 1:47:18Speaker 1: I want to do it so bad. Oh, it's not
- 1:47:20Speaker 1: emergency status like it is for me?
- 1:47:22Speaker 15: Right.
- 1:47:22Speaker 4: I'm going to die.
- 1:47:23Speaker 12: I'm here for it. I don't know.
- 1:47:25Speaker 1: I can see Sammy saying it's icky.
- 1:47:27Speaker 15: Ew.
- 1:47:27Speaker 13: Is it icky no i mean i'm just i'm just
- 1:47:29Speaker 13: very similar to gina you're like all right you know
- 1:47:32Speaker 13: this is part of what you're into part of the
- 1:47:33Speaker 13: act and here we go we're doing this and no
- 1:47:36Speaker 13: but i mean it's fine but i again i'm not
- 1:47:38Speaker 13: like greg where i'm like man i cannot wait to
- 1:47:40Speaker 13: get home.
- 1:47:41Speaker 1: It's just rare to hear a woman who's like enthusiastic
- 1:47:45Speaker 1: about it you know are you supposed to be Well,
- 1:47:48Speaker 1: whether Greg's talking about it, that'd be cool.
- 1:47:50Speaker 4: But I think it's a guy thing because guys, I'm
- 1:47:53Speaker 4: lucky to say, with guy, guy, guys, that, like, when
- 1:47:58Speaker 4: I was dating people, that, you know, were just like,
- 1:48:00Speaker 4: they just want to do stuff to you.
- 1:48:03Speaker 1: Yeah. Like, that's the thing. It's like, yeah, okay, she's
- 1:48:05Speaker 1: into it and she enjoys it. But, like, there's also
- 1:48:08Speaker 1: an enjoyment. I'm saying what Greg's saying. But, like, on
- 1:48:12Speaker 1: the hetero side of things, like, you enjoy, you're into it.
- 1:48:16Speaker 4: You generally only seek it out when you want to
- 1:48:18Speaker 4: make that person happy. It's not because like my mouth
- 1:48:21Speaker 4: is lonely.
- 1:48:24Speaker 1: Men are just more giving, I guess.
- 1:48:26Speaker 17: I think so too. And 95% of the time it
- 1:48:29Speaker 17: is reciprocal, but if it's not, I don't care.
- 1:48:32Speaker 1: All right. 877-44-WOODY. Here's some other after hours voicemails about
- 1:48:37Speaker 1: people on the show. What's up?
- 1:48:40Speaker 15: Hey, Woody Show.
- 1:48:40Speaker 10: Just sitting here watching Signs, and I don't know why,
- 1:48:45Speaker 10: but I just thought, Seabass, Mr.
- 1:48:50Speaker 1: Sebastian, really?
- 1:48:52Speaker 6: He looks like f * * * ing James Blunt.
- 1:48:55Speaker 1: He looks just like James Blunt. I gotta look up
- 1:48:57Speaker 1: James Blunt.
- 1:48:58Speaker 4: Blunt.
- 1:49:00Speaker 15: It's so funny.
- 1:49:01Speaker 10: Anyway, you guys have a good night.
- 1:49:04Speaker 4: Was he in Signs, the movie?
- 1:49:06Speaker 1: No. I mean, I can kind of see it. Just
- 1:49:10Speaker 1: this first picture that came up. He's got some short
- 1:49:13Speaker 1: hair pictures where it's... In that one you held up,
- 1:49:17Speaker 1: he looks more like Marilyn Manson. Or like that one,
- 1:49:20Speaker 1: sort of kind of like... I can say like, oh, well,
- 1:49:23Speaker 1: they're related. Yeah, he could be my cousin, maybe. He
- 1:49:26Speaker 1: looks like one of the dudes from.
- 1:49:29Speaker 7: Where they give you that makeover. It's all the gay guys.
- 1:49:32Speaker 1: Yeah. Oh, Queer Eye? Yeah.
- 1:49:33Speaker 7: One of the dudes from Queer Eye.
- 1:49:35Speaker 1: Yeah. Oh, Carson. Yeah, he does. Carson's from Queer Eye.
- 1:49:39Speaker 1: Let me see that. 877-44. Hey, what a show.
- 1:49:41Speaker 6: Did not think I could ever be more annoyed with
- 1:49:45Speaker 6: somebody just making up goofy excuses, their version of stuff,
- 1:49:49Speaker 6: than Seabass. But today, menace first with the moon thing
- 1:49:52Speaker 6: and then with the baseball thing.
- 1:49:54Speaker 15: Oh, my Lord.
- 1:49:55Speaker 6: I found myself in my car.
- 1:49:57Speaker 10: Screaming at him.
- 1:50:00Speaker 6: Cause it was like, Oh my God, just do that.
- 1:50:02Speaker 6: Just like the classic going to make up stuff and
- 1:50:05Speaker 6: tell somebody gets my side of the story or takes
- 1:50:08Speaker 6: my side of the story. And I can't even explain
- 1:50:11Speaker 6: the level of frustration.
- 1:50:13Speaker 1: But love you guys. Menace.
- 1:50:14Speaker 6: I still love you, but yeah, I don't know, buddy.
- 1:50:17Speaker 6: Thanks for the show. Love listening to you guys.
- 1:50:20Speaker 10: Bye.
- 1:50:21Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:50:22Speaker 1: That was a, that was definitely like a thing where,
- 1:50:24Speaker 1: you know, people, you know, depending on where you fell
- 1:50:27Speaker 1: on that, we're either like, really super enthusiastic, like supporting
- 1:50:31Speaker 1: men or like we're super pissed and frustrated.
- 1:50:34Speaker 7: I love that listener, but he had like no counter argument.
- 1:50:37Speaker 9: There's no, uh, well, I think what he's saying is like,
- 1:50:39Speaker 9: you're just, you're going to keep, when backed into a corner,
- 1:50:41Speaker 9: you just shift tactics until people get tired of arguing
- 1:50:44Speaker 9: with you.
- 1:50:45Speaker 1: It's just, look, it's a strategy. It's a strategy. Uh,
- 1:50:50Speaker 1: one more, this one, Gina, here we go.
- 1:50:53Speaker 10: Yo, yo, yo, it's your boy CJ from St.
- 1:50:56Speaker 8: Louis.
- 1:50:56Speaker 10: Um, I'm, Love you guys. Always have loved you guys
- 1:51:01Speaker 10: since 2018. Just wanted to let Gina know, I got
- 1:51:04Speaker 10: the biggest crush on you, Gina. I always have. I
- 1:51:07Speaker 10: don't know how. I don't know where. I know you
- 1:51:09Speaker 10: are married, but just know your boy. There's a guy
- 1:51:13Speaker 10: in St. Louis that has the biggest crush on you.
- 1:51:15Speaker 10: All right, bye! Bye!
- 1:51:18Speaker 4: I love you, and I appreciate you. Thank you.
- 1:51:21Speaker 1: Check in there on the app driver's voicemail.
- 1:51:22Speaker 7: 877-44-WOODY.
- 1:51:22Speaker 1: Text us over to 22987. We will be right back.
- 1:51:29Speaker 1: The Woody Show. All right, well, Menace, I want to
- 1:51:34Speaker 1: get an update. Yes. Birthday month is in full effect.
- 1:51:39Speaker 12: It is.
- 1:51:40Speaker 1: It's already like, you know, almost half over. I know,
- 1:51:44Speaker 1: half over. Yeah, we're approaching the halfway point. How sad.
- 1:51:48Speaker 1: Already Menace's birthday. It spends the whole year looking forward
- 1:51:51Speaker 1: to the birthday month, and now here it is, already
- 1:51:52Speaker 1: half over.
- 1:51:54Speaker 11: It's October, and you know what that means.
- 1:51:59Speaker 16: It's Menace's birthday month.
- 1:52:03Speaker 1: The countdown is on. All right, so you said that
- 1:52:08Speaker 1: you were supposed to have the surfing thing happen, and
- 1:52:12Speaker 1: then that had to get rescheduled.
- 1:52:14Speaker 7: Rescheduled due to weather, but we're definitely going to still
- 1:52:18Speaker 7: do that.
- 1:52:18Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:52:20Speaker 7: Surfing in the desert is going to happen with the listener.
- 1:52:22Speaker 7: I already have a listener on standby, ready to go.
- 1:52:25Speaker 7: Any other updates on the other stuff?
- 1:52:27Speaker 1: I already know what we're working on, but are there
- 1:52:31Speaker 1: any other updates? Yeah.
- 1:52:32Speaker 7: Well, if people don't know, I did secure two 98-inch
- 1:52:36Speaker 7: TCL televisions. I'm giving away one. And then I'm going
- 1:52:39Speaker 7: to give away another one on our Instagram, at The
- 1:52:42Speaker 7: Woody Show on Instagram. So I'm going to talk to
- 1:52:44Speaker 7: you about it on what day you want to do that.
- 1:52:46Speaker 7: So make sure everybody's following us. At The Woody Show
- 1:52:49Speaker 7: on Instagram, and then I'll post it, and then you
- 1:52:51Speaker 7: can enter to win that. The Street Fighter screening is
- 1:52:56Speaker 7: a little difficult because it's a very popular movie, guys.
- 1:53:01Speaker 7: But I do have a backup plan for that, and
- 1:53:03Speaker 7: I probably will drop information on that within the day
- 1:53:06Speaker 7: or two. So make sure, again, following us at The
- 1:53:08Speaker 7: Woody Show on Instagram.
- 1:53:09Speaker 1: Now, Dr.
- 1:53:10Speaker 7: Terry Dubrow.
- 1:53:11Speaker 1: That's what I was going to ask about.
- 1:53:13Speaker 7: He was commenting on our Instagram just the other day,
- 1:53:15Speaker 7: so I don't know how to talk to Jeff. I'm
- 1:53:18Speaker 7: sure his old intern is coordinating when he'll be on
- 1:53:22Speaker 7: the show.
- 1:53:24Speaker 1: Jeff's old intern now works with Dr. Dubrow. Perfect. That's
- 1:53:29Speaker 1: like our in there. Is it safe to assume that
- 1:53:31Speaker 1: that is almost... Guaranteed.
- 1:53:33Speaker 5: A lock, yeah.
- 1:53:34Speaker 1: I mean, if Dubrow's on our Instagram comments, I'm sure
- 1:53:38Speaker 1: it'll be happening. All right, so this whole list is
- 1:53:40Speaker 1: on our Instagram, at The Woody Show. Take a look
- 1:53:43Speaker 1: at it. We're asking you here in this birthday month
- 1:53:44Speaker 1: to take a look at it. If there's anything you
- 1:53:46Speaker 1: see on the list that you think you might have
- 1:53:49Speaker 1: a contact or you might be able to help out with.
- 1:53:53Speaker 1: just take a look.
- 1:53:54Speaker 7: Now, I got a lot of questions about the trip
- 1:53:58Speaker 7: to London to go to Raising Cane's.
- 1:53:59Speaker 1: Yeah, the extreme weekend trip.
- 1:54:01Speaker 7: Yeah, that for sure is going to happen. We'll probably,
- 1:54:03Speaker 7: I don't know. Again, I have to ask you, Woody,
- 1:54:06Speaker 7: when you want to give that away, but I'm assuming
- 1:54:07Speaker 7: maybe towards the end of this month.
- 1:54:09Speaker 1: All right, so that's an extreme weekend trip, meaning like
- 1:54:12Speaker 1: you leave on a Friday and then you come back
- 1:54:14Speaker 1: on a Sunday. Yes. And to go to London... Go
- 1:54:18Speaker 1: check out the new Raising Cane's that they're opening in London.
- 1:54:21Speaker 1: It's a long way to go for chicken fingers. But
- 1:54:24Speaker 1: why not? We went all the way to Dubai just
- 1:54:28Speaker 1: to experience the flight.
- 1:54:29Speaker 7: And we went to Raising Cane's.
- 1:54:32Speaker 1: So there you go. There's the update on Menace's birthday month, everybody.
- 1:54:36Speaker 1: Menace's birthday month.
- 1:54:38Speaker 3: Sponsored by the letter L for loser and by the
- 1:54:41Speaker 3: number zero, the official percentage that a grown man with
- 1:54:44Speaker 3: a birthday month could ever be cool.
- 1:54:50Speaker 1: I posted a video about this on our Instagram story,
- 1:54:53Speaker 1: at The Woody Show. I don't think it's up there anymore.
- 1:54:59Speaker 1: But pretty interesting. AI and what they're doing with video games.
- 1:55:05Speaker 1: Did you watch this video, Madness?
- 1:55:07Speaker 4: I did not.
- 1:55:08Speaker 1: Okay, so.
- 1:55:10Speaker 1: People are loading all these games into AI, and it's
- 1:55:14Speaker 1: basically taking all the code and all the stuff. And
- 1:55:16Speaker 1: so you could take Mario Brothers and put it into
- 1:55:18Speaker 1: Call of Duty. So it's like Mario running around doing
- 1:55:22Speaker 1: Call of Duty, and it plays super smooth. It's completely playable,
- 1:55:27Speaker 1: and the video game companies are losing their mind because
- 1:55:30Speaker 1: they don't know how to respond to this.
- 1:55:32Speaker 7: What I did see, I saw a different version of
- 1:55:34Speaker 7: this where it comes with all the Adobe products, like
- 1:55:37Speaker 7: Photoshop and.
- 1:55:39Speaker 1: Stuff like that. That's where I was going with it.
- 1:55:41Speaker 1: So it started with, you know, these gamers just taking
- 1:55:44Speaker 1: these games and creating their own games. How you can
- 1:55:47Speaker 1: just take something and, you know, take this and combine
- 1:55:50Speaker 1: it with that. And it makes it, like, just completely playable.
- 1:55:55Speaker 1: I mean, I'm watching, they have different screenshots of all
- 1:56:01Speaker 1: this stuff. And here, I'm waiting for this one, this
- 1:56:03Speaker 1: one video. It's like Mario's running around.
- 1:56:06Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:56:07Speaker 1: And just shooting people up in Call of Duty.
- 1:56:11Speaker 7: Oh, wow.
- 1:56:12Speaker 1: It's pretty crazy.
- 1:56:13Speaker 4: And it's not all pixelated.
- 1:56:14Speaker 5: No, no.
- 1:56:15Speaker 4: Wow.
- 1:56:17Speaker 1: Anyway, so there's that. Then what Menace was mentioning, someone's like, well,
- 1:56:21Speaker 1: I wonder what we can do with software. Because now
- 1:56:23Speaker 1: you don't own software anymore, right?
- 1:56:24Speaker 15: No.
- 1:56:25Speaker 1: You have to have a subscription for your Microsoft Office
- 1:56:29Speaker 1: for Word and Excel and all these different things.
- 1:56:31Speaker 6: Adobe.
- 1:56:32Speaker 1: Adobe. So Photoshop, all those different Adobe suites that you
- 1:56:38Speaker 1: use for different things. Audition. So somebody did the same
- 1:56:42Speaker 1: thing where they took all of that, they loaded it
- 1:56:44Speaker 1: into AI, and AI made their own version of it,
- 1:56:46Speaker 1: which is exactly the same. It operates the same as Photoshop.
- 1:56:50Speaker 1: All the controls and all the different things are... And
- 1:56:52Speaker 1: so now that's being all shared around.
- 1:56:54Speaker 4: Wait, so that's free?
- 1:56:56Speaker 6: Yes.
- 1:56:56Speaker 4: Okay, so that's why they're going to be pissed.
- 1:56:58Speaker 1: So Adobe is freaking out.
- 1:57:00Speaker 4: Yeah, of course.
- 1:57:00Speaker 9: Because it looks exactly the same. The functionality is, it's
- 1:57:04Speaker 9: still not there, but it will be.
- 1:57:06Speaker 4: I mean, I pay for all that crap. The functionality
- 1:57:08Speaker 4: is not.
- 1:57:08Speaker 1: There because the one I was watching, the couple of
- 1:57:10Speaker 1: videos that I was watching, like guys, and they were
- 1:57:11Speaker 1: showing what they were doing and it was working exactly
- 1:57:15Speaker 1: the same. Right, right. There's a lot of it that is,
- 1:57:17Speaker 1: but it's not quite there, but it will be. It
- 1:57:19Speaker 1: will be. And so, like, you know, Adobe, it's the
- 1:57:23Speaker 1: end for them if that's what happens. Because, I mean, people,
- 1:57:25Speaker 1: it's one thing using, you know, bootleg copies or whatever.
- 1:57:29Speaker 1: But it's another thing where they just take AI and
- 1:57:31Speaker 1: it's super easy. And the one thing I saw was
- 1:57:36Speaker 1: someone was saying, like, well, if purchasing is not owning,
- 1:57:40Speaker 1: piracy is not stealing.
- 1:57:41Speaker 4: That's a good point.
- 1:57:43Speaker 1: I hate to say it, but it is slightly valid. Yeah.
- 1:57:47Speaker 1: We have a thing called leasing. but when you buy
- 1:57:51Speaker 1: when you're like you're purchasing a movie you purchase a
- 1:57:53Speaker 1: license but that's not but they intentionally are very yeah
- 1:57:57Speaker 1: it's misleading it's very.
- 1:57:58Speaker 13: Vague because there is a rent option that's cheaper and you.
- 1:58:02Speaker 1: Get it for 48 hours that to me is like
- 1:58:05Speaker 1: if it's a purchase or rent rent is the lease
- 1:58:11Speaker 1: Nobody understands purchase as you're leasing.
- 1:58:13Speaker 4: No, it just gets yanked whenever.
- 1:58:15Speaker 1: And so they've done that now for a handful of years.
- 1:58:17Speaker 1: It's not super new, to be fair to what CBass
- 1:58:20Speaker 1: is saying. It's not super new, but I don't think
- 1:58:22Speaker 1: enough people really have a true grasp on what that
- 1:58:25Speaker 1: is about, okay, well, you like the whatever movie and
- 1:58:27Speaker 1: you purchased it on Same thing with iTunes, right? A
- 1:58:31Speaker 1: song could just disappear. A song that you quote-unquote purchased.
- 1:58:36Speaker 1: So if purchasing is not owning, piracy is not stealing.
- 1:58:40Speaker 1: I mean, that's a cute phrase, but it's legally fully inapplicable.
- 1:58:45Speaker 1: But I understand the idea. The spirit of the quote
- 1:58:47Speaker 1: makes sense. The spirit and the message of what people
- 1:58:50Speaker 1: are saying.
- 1:58:50Speaker 15: I agree.
- 1:58:51Speaker 1: I agree.
- 1:58:51Speaker 7: I came up with a good saying. But if you
- 1:58:53Speaker 7: don't own it, then how.
- 1:58:54Speaker 4: But how does that work? If you don't own it,
- 1:58:58Speaker 4: how can I.
- 1:58:59Speaker 1: Steal it from you? Again, let's not be super literal
- 1:59:02Speaker 1: about the grammar of it or about the words themselves.
- 1:59:05Speaker 1: It's the idea. It's like you said, the spirit of
- 1:59:08Speaker 1: what they're saying there. Like that's what people, that's what people,
- 1:59:11Speaker 1: a lot of people are on board with.
- 1:59:12Speaker 7: Well, instantly I think I go, okay, well, what AI
- 1:59:15Speaker 7: is developing this? And then they have to handle what
- 1:59:18Speaker 7: the leising and leasing... Licensing, yes. Yeah, of that content is.
- 1:59:24Speaker 7: Because they're the ones that are pulling from the source
- 1:59:27Speaker 7: of it.
- 1:59:27Speaker 9: Right, because Adobe will say, you trained your AI on
- 1:59:30Speaker 9: our intellectual property, which we own, and we'll sue you
- 1:59:32Speaker 9: into Bolivia.
- 1:59:33Speaker 1: Right, yeah. Yep, which is how, like, we were talking about,
- 1:59:37Speaker 1: I forget which one of those programs it was, but
- 1:59:40Speaker 1: it was like, all right, give me Minneapolis, you know, pop, whatever.
- 1:59:45Speaker 1: They were trying to have AI create a song.
- 1:59:46Speaker 7: Mm-hmm.
- 1:59:47Speaker 1: Minneapolis. And it just spit out basically a brand new
- 1:59:50Speaker 1: Prince song. The vocals sound like Prince. The music sounded
- 1:59:53Speaker 1: like Prince. And it's because obviously it's been trained on Prince. Yeah.
- 1:59:58Speaker 4: And, you know, where's Prince from?
- 2:00:01Speaker 1: Minneapolis.
- 2:00:02Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 2:00:02Speaker 7: It's just not fast enough. I mean, like all these AIs,
- 2:00:04Speaker 7: they know the sources that they're pulling from, you know,
- 2:00:07Speaker 7: so they until somebody calls them out on it.
- 2:00:12Speaker 9: And they are being, like, Suno's the big one, and
- 2:00:13Speaker 9: they are being sued right now in multiple jurisdictions.
- 2:00:16Speaker 4: Well, a ton of authors already did that. Remember a
- 2:00:18Speaker 4: couple years ago, they were like, we know how you're
- 2:00:19Speaker 4: creating this. You quote-unquote read all our books.
- 2:00:23Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 2:00:23Speaker 7: Yeah, I guess it's like up to the people that
- 2:00:25Speaker 7: owned the original to go after them and say, pay me.
- 2:00:29Speaker 7: And until then, all the other, I mean, the AI
- 2:00:31Speaker 7: companies are just going to keep on pulling these sources
- 2:00:33Speaker 7: until people call them out on it.
- 2:00:35Speaker 1: There is a big revolt against, you know, the idea
- 2:00:38Speaker 1: that you've purchased a movie, but you don't really have it.
- 2:00:41Speaker 1: You know, it can just be taken at any time.
- 2:00:43Speaker 4: Yeah, for 25 bucks, I don't really have it.
- 2:00:44Speaker 1: Whatever, you know, used to buy it. And it was
- 2:00:47Speaker 1: your now it's like a subscription.
- 2:00:49Speaker 6: Yes, exactly.
- 2:00:50Speaker 1: And so that's why you're seeing, you know, people going
- 2:00:52Speaker 1: to dumb phones or actual cameras and going more analog.
- 2:00:55Speaker 1: And like there's there's there's there's a revolt against a
- 2:00:58Speaker 1: lot of this stuff. And so, you know, it is weird.
- 2:01:00Speaker 1: Like I've never been, you know, the person who when
- 2:01:04Speaker 1: I see like a store is being looted or when
- 2:01:07Speaker 1: I go good, you know, like screw those fat cats
- 2:01:10Speaker 1: or whatever. But with this, for whatever reason, like the
- 2:01:13Speaker 1: Adobe thing kind of made me chuckle.
- 2:01:15Speaker 9: Yeah, screw them for taking millions of man hours to
- 2:01:18Speaker 9: develop a useful product.
- 2:01:20Speaker 4: That I love so much.
- 2:01:22Speaker 1: But for the sake of making a point, I'm sure,
- 2:01:25Speaker 1: like you said, there will be lawsuits, and it'll be
- 2:01:27Speaker 1: like you've trained on our intellectual property. I know that's coming,
- 2:01:31Speaker 1: and I will understand and be in favor of that.
- 2:01:34Speaker 1: But at the same time, for whatever reason, it's like
- 2:01:38Speaker 1: I get a little— Until they change the buy-rent thing.
- 2:01:40Speaker 7: Yeah, I think you're— You're just supporting that because you
- 2:01:44Speaker 7: think they're dicks because they did subscription-based instead of just
- 2:01:47Speaker 7: buying it once. Is that what you're trying to say?
- 2:01:50Speaker 1: Yeah, I think it's more.
- 2:01:52Speaker 7: Because I hate the subscription-based stuff. That sucks.
- 2:01:56Speaker 1: It's mega annoying.
- 2:01:57Speaker 4: Well, it's even with phones now. Everything's... You're leasing the phone.
- 2:02:00Speaker 1: Your heated seats in your car. Everything. Everything.
- 2:02:04Speaker 4: They don't work unless you pay extra.
- 2:02:06Speaker 14: Yeah, we can give it to you, but we're not
- 2:02:07Speaker 14: going to switch it on unless you give us $.
- 2:02:08Speaker 4: 40 a month.
- 2:02:09Speaker 12: That's so stupid.
- 2:02:11Speaker 1: Someone said, remember when the Napster RIAA thing was happening
- 2:02:14Speaker 1: and the RIAA representative said if someone ripped the CD
- 2:02:17Speaker 1: that they own that they're stealing from themselves? Okay. That
- 2:02:21Speaker 1: is what this whole video game coding thing is.
- 2:02:24Speaker 4: Wait, huh?
- 2:02:25Speaker 1: So if you own the, what I'm saying, like if
- 2:02:26Speaker 1: you own, I guess what they're saying is if you
- 2:02:28Speaker 1: own the game. If you own the game and you
- 2:02:31Speaker 1: then use it to make, you're making a copy.
- 2:02:33Speaker 7: Well, I would say, hey, how about this?
- 2:02:35Speaker 5: Yeah. I mean, that argument makes sense.
- 2:02:37Speaker 7: If you're the only one playing that game on your
- 2:02:40Speaker 7: own computer, not putting it out in the world where
- 2:02:42Speaker 7: other people can play it.
- 2:02:44Speaker 1: Even if it's for free, it doesn't matter.
- 2:02:45Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 2:02:45Speaker 8: 877- Woody.
- 2:02:48Speaker 1: You can send us a text over to 22987. We
- 2:02:50Speaker 1: will be right back. Insensitivity training for a politically correct world.

- 2:03:17Speaker 1: 5 is like evening. Yeah, that's evening. Not tonight. Tonight
- 2:03:20Speaker 1: would be, I say, after 7. Yeah, agreed. So this evening.
- 2:03:23Speaker 1: Join Menace at the Lazy Dog at LA Live, 5
- 2:03:26Speaker 1: to 7. That's where he's going to be giving away
- 2:03:28Speaker 1: the first of two 98-inch televisions that he had on
- 2:03:31Speaker 1: his birthday month wish list. So tonight at Lazy Dog,
- 2:03:36Speaker 1: starring the Rams and the Bills, Monday Night Football game.
- 2:03:38Speaker 1: He'll be giving away that TV and some other stuff, too.
- 2:03:40Speaker 1: A lot of giveaways. That's from 5 to 7 tonight.
- 2:03:43Speaker 1: Just hit up the Events tab, thewoodyshow.com for the address,

- 2:03:49Speaker 1: Shout-out to TCL.
- 2:03:50Speaker 6: Oh!
- 2:03:51Speaker 1: For the TVs. The other one, we still have to
- 2:03:52Speaker 1: give away. We haven't figured out how that's going to
- 2:03:54Speaker 1: happen yet. But yeah, we got that. Tomorrow, big day.

- 2:04:59Speaker 1: of wisdom, please.
- 2:05:00Speaker 17: Yeah, we have to accept that we may never find
- 2:05:03Speaker 17: out who really let the dogs out.
- 2:05:05Speaker 1: It's one of those questions. We'll never know. You know?
- 2:05:09Speaker 1: What really happened with JFK? Yeah. Who are they? One
- 2:05:12Speaker 1: of those conspiracy theories.
- 2:05:13Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 2:05:14Speaker 1: You'll just never know. Just won't. All right, thank you
- 2:05:17Speaker 1: very much, Greg Gorey. You got it, Wood. Thank you
- 2:05:19Speaker 1: so much for giving The Woody Show some of your

- 2:05:23Speaker 1: you for that. The rest of you guys can suck it,
- 2:05:25Speaker 1: and we will catch you back here on Tuesday. Have
- 2:05:27Speaker 1: a great day. SMD double M.
- 2:05:29Speaker 4: I quit this bitch.
