- 2:51cake? Okay? Oh, come on, this is Hamilton. I'll be
- 2:57with you in a minute. That's quite all right, Julie. I don't
- 3:00want to be the stub for anyone. You understand. It probably calls Tom
- 3:02a check back later. Well, I'm certainly glad to see you, missus.
- 3:07Hamilon got that report for you. That's fine. You wouldn't care for
- 3:14drink first? No, I wouldn't. I'm just trying to be No,
- 3:16please, don't put yourself out. May I hear the report? Sure?
- 3:23Report? Far by it? Sylvester Jones nineteen fifty one subject Paul Hamilton.
- 3:30I picked up mister Hamilton at my A. Do we have to go through
- 3:34all this? All I'd like to know is wether my suspicions are well founded?
- 3:39Do you mean as your husband seeing some cuity out the side? The
- 3:44answers yes. And the girl's name Penton? Uh huh? Is she in
- 3:50love with por? Is she? That's funniest thing I've heard in you.
- 3:55Well, I wishould explain the joke to me. I'll stay and don't know
- 3:58what the word love means. He's gone with one hundred guys in the last
- 4:00year. What does she do whoever she can? Right now, she's promoting
- 4:05your husband sent thankfully he's giving her over seventy thousand dollars worth of jewel rate.
- 4:11I t if I was you, I'd give him a dose of his
- 4:15own medicine. I don't follow you, mister brook. You're a good looking
- 4:20woman. Thank you. Why don't you show him too? Can play that
- 4:25game? Find yourself a little partner? Am I to understand you're volunteering your
- 4:32services? You could do a lot worse. I'm not a bad guy.
- 4:38I've only got your words about it. Well, you can't rule a guy
- 4:43up trying. There's anything I can do for you in the future, I
- 4:46rather do it. Why, I never know. Someday you may be up
- 4:49against it. If it comes give me a jingle, I think you've got
- 4:56my number. Yes, hello Malone. Well if it isn't, Lady Hamilton,
- 5:14I'm not excusing, not nearly enough. Come on in, lover,
- 5:18let me did get cold? No, don't bother. I can't do you
- 5:20know what I mean? Sometimes I think you don't trust me. Sometimes that
- 5:25does think I do. Now you know there's no more harm in me than
- 5:27in a cobra sadan do I did? I never make a pitch for a
- 5:31woman who's in love with her husband. Well, that's what I want to
- 5:36talk to you about. Paul got himself involved. How do you know I
- 5:42can sell to the private protective name is Jack Brock. You didn't go to
- 5:46Brock. I would have put you across my knee. Hey, that's not
- 5:49a bad idea. Come alone. Please, I'm in no mood for Clooney.
- 5:53Who's the girl Eve Fenton? Fenton never heard of her? Unfortunately poor
- 5:59right, Well, what do you want me to do is start suit for
- 6:00a divorce. Don't be ridiculous, you know how. Yeah, he appeals
- 6:04to your maternal instinct. When are you gonna stop playing mama? That's not
- 6:08funny, Malone. That's the truth. If you didn't watch over him like
- 6:10a baby, what they'd understand. Of course, Paul is weak, but
- 6:13it's not his thoughts. You know. They had the Standley' zone two feet
- 6:16His family always had money. Gee, that's sad. I guess I was
- 6:21lucky to be born poor. Now look, okay, okay, if you
- 6:25don't want a divorce, what did you have in mind? I thought maybe
- 6:28you could talk to him, want me to tell him about the birds and
- 6:30the bees and the flowers. If he doesn't know, by all right,
- 6:33Leen, but I gotta hunt. It'll be like talking to myself. I'll
- 6:38brief you later on the dialogue. Let's say one thing for you, Malone.
- 6:48You've got more nerve than any eight people I know. Look, Paul,
- 6:50this wasn't my idea. I don't like a butting on a family squabble
- 6:54or what do you call what you're doing. Come to think of it,
- 6:57you're right. But you know how Arlene feels about Yes, she doesn't trust
- 7:00me to come in out of the rain. It isn't fact, then what
- 7:02is it? This little girl you're tied up with, Eve Fenton? Suppose
- 7:06we leave her out of it? I don't see how we can. She's
- 7:09in this mess up to her lovely next. She's a bad dame, Paul.
- 7:11You better watch that tongue. Look, I've seen the report. She
- 7:14said, Oh good night up. I guess I asked for that, and
- 7:19you certainly did. And I'll get out, okay, Paul, But my
- 7:23mother taught me to turn the other cheek. I may be back later to
- 7:27give you a crack at it. I hate to heckle, Paul. I'm
- 7:42telling me what this is all about. Seeve, I want to talk to
- 7:45you. It doesn't matter to you that I wanted to go to the cat
- 7:47Cub. Do we have to go to a Knight's about every time we go
- 7:49out? I know, I know you hate to see me Enjoy night,
- 7:51honey. It's not that. What are we stopping here for. I told
- 7:56you I wanted to talk to you. We'll find some other stuff. This
- 8:00Disney this creep. No, that's see you think I want to say to
- 8:03you? Please? My wife's lay had dropped out as soon as this afternoon.
- 8:09Man, named John J. Malone. So so he said a couple
- 8:15of things about you. Oh, what do you want me to do?
- 8:18Tell me they're not true? How can I attend if I don't know what
- 8:20he's said? Well, we hit it? That what that there were other
- 8:26men in your life? No, I didn't let him get away with it.
- 8:31Well, bully for you? Please? Lease, don't choke? You
- 8:33know how mad? I am fraid? What's the matter? Baby? Then
- 8:35lead he hears a feeling. I'm oh, pay Paul, you're asking for
- 8:41my book. You're a first class smoke. You don't get that hurt tone
- 8:46out of your voice. I'm going to be sick a fact, like a
- 8:48grown man for change instead of a baby. What you don't need a girl?
- 8:52You need a mother. All your money isn't enough to make me take
- 8:56on the job. If you don't know what you're saying. Oh, don't
- 8:56be dull. I've been dying to say that ever since the first night.
- 9:00I'll kill you for this. Take your hands to yourself. Where'd you get
- 9:05that gun? Then? In my purse? All along I figured Sunday baby
- 9:11might get rough and Mama might have to slacken down. I'll start the car
- 9:18time you went back to the nursery. Hello, Lee, what are you
- 9:33doing here? By? Right? Well? From now on to outside?
- 9:37Why, darling, I believe you're out of store. I don't want you
- 9:41hanging around. Is that understood? Because there's no need to be huppy after
- 9:43all? Eve make me well. You didn't feel that way when I lined
- 9:48up Paul Hamilton say, I'm glad you mentioned that because the party's over.
- 9:52What on earth are you talking about? I packed him in the night?
- 9:56You didn't? Didn't? You're lying? No, admitted all right, I'm
- 9:58lying. You're better now. If you think you're going to double close meanings,
- 10:03then you'll get another guest coming. I planned the whole thing. I
- 10:05did all the work. You did all the work. Look, little man,
- 10:09this may come as a shock, but you don't know what work is.
- 10:11And then you've spent a couple of hours with mister Hamilton. I've met
- 10:13dull people. In mind, I'm not going to do this to me.
- 10:16Will you hear me? We'll let you all right? Ye have I the
- 10:43pleasure of addressing the amazing mister Malone. You realize it's full in the morning
- 10:48lit tennis. Naturally, I wouldn't think of going any other time? Uh?
- 10:52Do you know a lady named Arlene and Hamilton? Why, well,
- 10:56she's gonna wind up with a lot of time on her hand. Dan,
- 10:58that's pretty good. What are you babbling about? You know Hamilton? Time
- 11:01on your hands? It's a joke, you get it? Yeah? All
- 11:03over me? What's this about Arleen Hamilton? She knocks off a dame named
- 11:09uh? Huh? When I think that, Let's see if I understand you,
- 11:13Brooke, you understand me? All right? Where's missus Hamilton? Now?
- 11:16Now where else would she be? You're coming over it. You're done
- 11:18right. Tell her I'll be there in twenty minutes. Trying to make it
- 11:20fifteen. It's been a week since I was amazed. I don't know if
- 11:22I can hold out much longer. I'll be saying you Cansel. You are

- 12:37radio entertainment over this your NBC station. And now back to the amazing mister
- 12:43Malone. Well, that's where it goes. Somenight can be murdered. And
- 13:01this one was twenty minutes after I learned Eve Fenton had been folly done in.
- 13:05I was down at headquarters and when I walked in, strangely enough,
- 13:09I was greeted by Lieutenant Brooks with open arms then I noticed between them and
- 13:13held a neck. Well, come on in Malonia, justin hey, when
- 13:16you put that thing down? Sure, I just lay your head on the
- 13:18desperate are you not? You can kill him all with that? You know
- 13:20that's roughly what I had in mind. Unfortunately, Missus Hamilton, we'd be
- 13:24do it? Is that the weapon used on E. Fenton. Well if
- 13:26you think Arleen Hamilton was a party who wheeled it in your praise, well
- 13:30on that next two of us Missus Hamilton agrees with me. Why I think
- 13:31a look at this? What's that? Oh? I'm sorry? I thought
- 13:35you could read impressioned by Arleen Hailton. I'm Missus Paul Hamilton to hereby confessor
- 13:41my own free will that on the evening of June. She didn't sign it.
- 13:45No, take a look at the next page. Oh look, Brooks,
- 13:48you're not going to get away with these third degree not Oh how you
- 13:52do? Go on? If you think I'm going to permit it for one
- 13:54second? All all, I'm sorry, Lieutenant. I lost my head.
- 14:00Oh that's all right alone. We got a signed cup and in the fire.
- 14:03Why you no good? Double? When did Arlen Sinus? Five minutes
- 14:07after I phoned you. She told Sussman she wanted to dictate a statement that
- 14:11was it. Didn't you tell her? I was on my way over.
- 14:13I think that's what prompted I listen. I think I want to talk to
- 14:15her husband, pray and missus Hamilton. What's the matter with him? He
- 14:20hasn't said a word to me in weeks. Oh, well maybe he doesn't
- 14:24recognize you since you had your suit christ. As a matter of fact,
- 14:26I've been having a little Oh come on in, Arli, what are you
- 14:31doing them alone? Well? You sent for me, didn't they tell you?
- 14:33I changed my mind. You're going to need someone to represents you.
- 14:37No, no, I won't look Karle, let's stop kidding each other.
- 14:41You didn't kill you, Feddon, where's your motive? He took prawl away
- 14:43from me? So you grabbed an axe and made like George washing? And
- 14:46why weren't your fingerprints on him? How do you know they weren't? Were
- 14:48they? No? She wiped them all and that proved she didn't do it.
- 14:52Oh that's what I love. But your logical mind, let's Sidney can't
- 14:56just see she's protecting someone that's not true because I got a mother complex and
- 15:01you think Paul needs protecting, I'm gonna think of it. You may be
- 15:03right. What do you mean. Last time we had a little talk,
- 15:05he slapped me down. Maybe it's time I had my turn it back.
- 15:09I'll let you know if I score. That's the second. Hello, Paul,
- 15:35what do you want, mylone? That's no way to greet an old
- 15:37friend of the family. I've got nothing to say. That's all right.
- 15:39I got more than enough dialogue for us. Both. Are you going to
- 15:43get out of here? I just saw Arlene. You know she confessed Eve's
- 15:48murdered. I'm not at all cried, neither of my I figured she's shielding
- 15:52someone. Don't you know she killed me? Why should she? Because she
- 15:56was jealous of him? That's something I'll ever understand. You have. The
- 16:00greatest wife in the war was never a wife to me. She was,
- 16:02I know, a mother. You know what it means to have someone watch
- 16:04over your day and night, to check whether or not you have your handkerchief
- 16:07when you go walk, and if you've got an umbrella whent of grain maybe
- 16:10you need it. Don't be smart? All right. I'll grant Darling's a
- 16:11dominating type, but don't you see what he's trying to do for you.
- 16:14Now, why do you think she confess you thinks you'll kill he? And
- 16:17why would I do that? Maybe Eve got tired of it, if that's
- 16:19all you've got to say, Malone, No it isn't. Well, I
- 16:22don't want to hear anymore. You're gaunt unless we can take up another suspect.
- 16:26Your wife's going to the chair now. If you didn't kill Eve,
- 16:27who did? Who are some of the other men in her life? There
- 16:30was no one else. Don't be a jerk. That must have been a
- 16:32hundreds deeves could never been out. You know, Paul, you did that
- 16:37once before, and I think I was pretty wonderful way I held my temper
- 16:41and I ain't so now. Honestly, Why you don't father? Get in
- 16:45the old man? I can find my way out, Hey, father me,
- 17:00Yeah, I wonder if you could help me out. Where's the dumb
- 17:03on arm? Oh? It's the building a just demotto, I'll that the
- 17:06coens. Why you live there? Why? Because I was wondering if you
- 17:10might know a character named Barry Phillips. What's the meaning of this? Oh,
- 17:15don't tell me. I have, but it certainly is a small who
- 17:18are you Brock's My name is Jack Brock. I'm a private investigator. Oh
- 17:22what a don't you ever listen to the radio They call him private eyes.
- 17:26What do you want with me? Suppose we go someplace where we can have
- 17:29a drink. Huh, I don't say anything you want through right here?
- 17:33Okay? The lady came into my office sometimes back. Her name was Ali
- 17:37and Hamilton, so so I it seemed like her husband was seeing a cutie
- 17:41on the side, a little girl named what was her name? Again?
- 17:45How would I know what? Who should know better? You wentt TODs it
- 17:49to him? You were insane. I never even heard of e Fenton?
- 17:53Did I say that with her name? Yes? Funny, I don't remember.
- 17:57Look, mister Brock, b r Ok. Well, if you're quite
- 18:03true, no, I'm not, imagine mind surprised. When I opened the
- 18:06paper this morning, I read about this Eve Fent and being not uh,
- 18:10And then I noticed a very strange overside. Did you Yeah? The papers
- 18:14didn't mentioned seventy thousand bucks worth of jewelry she got from Paul Hamilton. What
- 18:18are you supposed happen to her? I have no idea? Well I have
- 18:22I think of the killer put it. You've got your note. I don't
- 18:26get me wrong, Barry, I would in his play, especially if you've
- 18:29double crossed me. What do you mean by that? This would have sounded
- 18:33like, now I know a fence that would take the step off our hands
- 18:37for thirty cents and a dollar. Get out of my way? You want
- 18:40to do better elsewhere? Eleven thousand bucks of peace seemed to be sneezed.
- 18:42There are you going to get out of my way? Well? Keep Harry,
- 18:48don't say later. I didn't give you a chance. But if I
- 18:52can't do business with you, I'll have to find myself another customer. Take
- 18:56care of yourself, fellow. Yeah, I let me talk with John Jama.
- 19:15Who's this Jack Bryn? Oh, I take your head of me.
- 19:19Unfortunately, you're a pretty funny guy. I don't think Bob Hope has much
- 19:25to worry about. What's on your mind? You're representing Arlie and Hamilton?
- 19:27You? Oh so, did she tell you I did a little work for
- 19:30her? Yeah? Well, since I concluded the job, a couple of
- 19:33things have come to my attentions. Well, I find it wasn't Eve Betton's
- 19:38idea originally the clip Paul, She's working with a guy. I figured as
- 19:42much, don't figure. Here's one thing. I'm the boy who can prove
- 19:45it. I suppose that Eve double cross. This partner has Oh could be
- 19:49any number of ways. Maybe she dissolved a partnership. Maybe she refused it
- 19:53to the up. That's a possibility. Did you know what Paul Hamilton gave
- 19:57Eve? Seventy thousand dollars worth of Vice one? He was going with her?
- 20:00No? Did the cops didn't flint in her apartment? What do you
- 20:06make of that? All right, brock, what's the Pictu're not telling me
- 20:07all this because of my big brown eyes? Well you notice I didn't tell
- 20:11you the guy's name. That's gonna cost you five grand. You've got delusions
- 20:15of grand. Your client can afford this, think and save her life.
- 20:19Maybe she doesn't want her life safe? Didn't you here? She confessed?
- 20:22Oh what did that happen a couple of hours ago? You want to do?
- 20:27I'll give you the guy's name and address for a thought. Five hundred.
- 20:30You got a deal. When when I get the money, as soon
- 20:33as I verify, Well, Marry Phillips, Arry Phillips, Now, Papa
- 20:41Domelona, I got your word, for it such as it is. What
- 20:44do you mean? I guess I'm as bad as you are, Brock.
- 20:48They don't let it ruin your faith in all man, it's just two of
- 20:51us who can't be trusted. Yes, I'm looking for Barry Phillips. Well,
- 21:10well, looks like I made it. I wasn't aware that I invited
- 21:14you in. I'll forgive the oversight. I'll love mister mylone. Oh heard
- 21:18of me? Na, truly I never missed you on the radio. Your
- 21:22first name Ted, isn't it. That's pretty cute. You ought to be
- 21:26in radio yourself. Now what can I do for you? But one thing?
- 21:30You can accompany me down at police headquarters. Why should I do that?
- 21:33Just because you're the considerate type. I got very sensitive hands, and
- 21:37you wouldn't want me to ruin them. I slugging you, you wouldn't.
- 21:41Don't underestimate me, Barry. This is my day for hitting people. I
- 21:44started with Paul Hamilton and I just as soon finished with you. You're a
- 21:47lot smaller, yo, Lieutenant. I'm back. Hey Stone hides the valuables.
- 22:03That man's here again. No, someone heard you. They think you
- 22:07weren't glad to see me now, I wonder how they'd get that in frick
- 22:10Listen, I got this whole case figured out. Oh you have kind of
- 22:12slow alone. I had to figure out hours. A though you don't really
- 22:15believe that tony confession A Leyen Hamilton, may, I most certainly do.
- 22:18Where she now home? Judge mckellis the granted vale twenty minutes ago? Well,
- 22:22I got to hunt at the last few seen him. Oh she'll be
- 22:23bad. I got it. You see, I know who killed the fan.
- 22:27Yeah, there's a little boy named Barry Phillips. Are you out of
- 22:30your mind? Did you find any jewelry in eves apartment? No? Well,
- 22:34Paul gave her seventy thousand dollars worth. Where did it go to?
- 22:37You tell me? The other one was amazing? The killer took it.
- 22:41Robbery was a motive for this murder. It's as simple as that. Even
- 22:44Barry were partners and he thought she double crossed him. Where's this Barry Phillips
- 22:48now? In this room with the bellmont? I slugged him. Oh what
- 22:49you want to do that for? It? Look a little tennant. For
- 22:52thirty odd years, I've been looking for the one man in his town I
- 22:53could like today I found him, wouldn't I be a fool to let him
- 22:57get away? Yeah? Well, where do we go? Malone? Start
- 23:11down the out of the hall. You sure this, Barry Phillips will be
- 23:15positive? Oh? You should have seen the writer let him have it with
- 23:18a beauty? Yeah, you must be training on. Had it for listen,
- 23:21counselor all I got is save it for later? This is the place?
- 23:23Yeah? Oh where is it? Hit those lines? What did I
- 23:29tell you? When Malone sucks and they stay socked? All right, Barry,
- 23:34it's time to get up. You got company, Barry, I don't
- 23:41know get out of a way? Wow? He did, but I only
- 23:48hit him once. You don't know your own strength. Did you ever consider
- 23:51fighting professionally? They could fill you is kill them alone? That's one title
- 23:53you really desert. All right, killer, let's go. You're listening to
- 24:06the amazing mister Malone. Every time the cost of living index goes up one
- 24:17percent, people must spend an additional two billion dollars per year. This same
- 24:22inflation strikes a defense too. In the next two years, defense costs are
- 24:26estimated at around one hundred and forty billion dollars. If inflation raises these costs
- 24:33by only one percent, we you and I the public will be paying one
- 24:37billion, four hundred million dollars a year extra. No one man and no
- 24:41active Congress can stem this tide of inflation, this iebomb, whose effects are
- 24:45more widespread than those of the atom bomb itself. But if we all act
- 24:49together, we can win. What can I do you ask? First,
- 24:53don't buy anything you don't actually need. Second, don't buy or sell anything
- 24:57it's over the established sealing price. And third, but every extra dollar you
- 25:02have into defense bonds, bonds that help our country stay strong financially. Sign
- 25:07up for payroll savings where you work, first thing tomorrow. And now back
- 25:11to the amazing mister Malone. I don't know why things like this always happened
- 25:30to me, but I suppose I shouldn't complain. If they didn't, i'd
- 25:32be minus a job. Now it looked like I was going to lose even
- 25:36more. And while I retired to a neutral corner, Lieutenant Brooks counted Barry
- 25:40out. Oh he's dead, all right. You know I certainly got a
- 25:44head to you, counselor, and wouldn't I love to, But I tell
- 25:47you, Lieutenant, I barely touched So you must tack a while up like
- 25:48Joe Lewis. If you escape the chair, maybe I can get you to
- 25:52find a testimonial for the ever Lass people. If you don't, oh,
- 25:56come on, lone, this is no time for you to go. That's
- 26:04way of this. Huh. What do you make of this little round hole
- 26:11in his back? It ain't a life saving Maybe it is because it sure
- 26:15saves your life. He was shot and I didn't kill it. Are you
- 26:17sure? I'm sure? Oh? Maybe you forgot after you hit him.
- 26:19Maybe a pumpter slug and him just to make sure he was out. Don't
- 26:22talk like a jerk. Oh, I hate to see such an opportunity.
- 26:23Go to wait. Listen, lieutenant, I got it all figured out.
- 26:26Oh that's what I love about you, Malonia, like the US mail,
- 26:30nothing stuff, I tell you. I see it all now, and I
- 26:32know who killed it, all right? Who? The same party who killed
- 26:33the eve Phentan? Can you hatch on a Jack Brock, a private detective?
- 26:37What's he got to do with I'll tell you later, but we'll need
- 26:38him. And Paul Hamilton? What about your client? This is Hamilton?
- 26:41Oh? By all means, let's have her too. I always do my
- 26:44best work when there's a lady in the house. Look, Lieutenant, I
- 26:53think I'm entitled with an explanation. You have that footing, no right to
- 26:56bring in. You got to let him go. Well that raises a problem.
- 27:00Will you keep out of the star leane? I can look after myself
- 27:03going I'm sorry, I only meant I hate to interrupt, but kN of
- 27:07strength to get a wood and I drive. Yeah, yeah, of course.
- 27:08Listen, what are we waiting for him anyway? Oh? Why that's
- 27:11true? The startify show and here he comes. Now hello, Well that's
- 27:18about time alone. Your audience is getting restless. Well, we want to
- 27:22hold him along at least not all three. What are you driving that?
- 27:25I don't know whether you heard Brock, but there's been another murderer anyone I
- 27:29know, Yeah, someone you know quite well, Barry Phillips. Remember you
- 27:33gave me his name on the phone. I gave you his name. I'm
- 27:37glad you said that because I promised you five bills for the information and this
- 27:41sort of gives me an ounce, right, Paul, why asked me?
- 27:44I was wondering whether you saw any fallacy or my lodge. I'm afraid I
- 27:47hadn't been listening. You should have because you've got a big stake in it.
- 27:51I don't see how, Bob, Paul, you killed Barry Phillips and
- 27:55he fanders No, yes, he did love her. You couldn't do everything
- 27:57for him. There are a couple of things he finally did for himself,
- 28:00and both of them were murdered. Congratulations Paul today, You are a man,
- 28:22all right, lieutenant. But they finished eating. So whenever you're ready,
- 28:26whenever I'm ready for what? Well, don't you want to ask me
- 28:30any questions? Not particularly well? Uh, don't you want to know why
- 28:36Paul killed Eve Fenton? Oh that's pretty obvious. He wanted to get even
- 28:40the dame played him for a sucker and his ego couldn't take him. Ah.
- 28:44Well, uh, you're probably wondering why he killed Barry Philip not for
- 28:48the same reason he killed thee Barry was in on the flat to clip him.
- 28:51Oh well, uh, well, no doubt you're puzzled about what happened
- 28:55to I'm missing Joe. Doubt very ridiculous. Paul took it after he killed
- 28:59Eve, just so to be a total lost. You saw all that,
- 29:03but don't tell me. I've amazed the amazing, mister Malone. Oh,
- 29:07in that case, I'm going home and cut my throat. I've got nothing
- 29:11else to live for. Good Night. I ever heard the story of the
- 29:29boy who tried alcohol for the first time. Surprisingly, the only tea totaler
- 29:34in the party wound up half shot. I'll tell you all about it next
- 29:41week. So when I pick me up at my office at the same time,
- 29:42I'll be waiting for that good night welcome back. I guess that this
- 29:52is one of those cases where I don't quite get the toddeling, but I'll
- 29:57go ahead and let that pay us. Just another solid episode, great dialogue.
- 30:03The one thing that Mitt deserves some discussion is the part where the guy
- 30:11asked if John if a. Malone's name is Ted and he was just a
- 30:15radio broadcaster extraordinaire. He started on radio in nineteen twenty nine in Kansas City
- 30:29reading poetry, and then during the war his role as an announcer expanded to
- 30:34variety shows, quiz shows, and then even went into being a war correspondent,
- 30:41and eventually he established his own production company later on in the nineteen fifties.
- 30:48But really a great radio pioneer, Will continued to do some radio work
- 30:53right up until he died in nineteen eighty nine, sixty years after he became
- 31:00involved in the medium. All right, well, listener comments and feedback and
- 31:04have a review on iTunes, and inext zero one says, I really like
- 31:11this podcast. In fact, I've downloaded every episode available on iTunes. I
- 31:15was wondering do you think that you could do the Saint? But thanks for
- 31:21all the episodes. Indeed, The Saint is planned for later on this season.
- 31:26It'll be after we finish up the Johnny Dollar five parters and also after
- 31:32we do Pursuit, so we have a good nine or ten months ago.
- 31:37But I am personally very excited about it. I've been watching the George Sanders
- 31:45Saints movies and also have been trying to get my hands on the Roger Moore
- 31:51Saint TV series so that I can be thoroughly informed and prepared when we finally
- 31:57get into the Saints. So just keep listening. It'll be coming to Mondays
- 32:01in just a few months. All right, Well, that will do it
- 32:05for today. Join us back here tomorrow as the Silver Blue Matter continues,
- 32:10and then join us back here next Tuesday for another episode of the Amazing Mister
- 32:15Malone. Send your comments to Box thirteen, Great Detectives dot net, follow
- 32:20us on Twitter at Radio Detectives, and Before I Go, I want to
- 32:23say we now have one hundred reviews on iTunes, so thanks for all your
- 32:28great comments and reviews there. From Boise, Idaho, this is your host,
