- 1:08Speaker 1: I truly think I might need a vacation from my vacation.

- 2:47Speaker 1: before we get into to today's cases, you've probably seen
- 2:51Speaker 1: it in the chat, but it is one of our moderators,
- 2:55Speaker 1: Lady and Grace's birthday, so we'll want everyone to say
- 3:00Speaker 1: happy birthday to Lady in Gray and let's show her
- 3:05Speaker 1: lots of love, because guys, birthdays are a big guilt
- 3:08Speaker 1: to me, you should celebrate your birthday. I like to
- 3:12Speaker 1: celebrate the whole month of my birthday in July because
- 3:16Speaker 1: you know, after fighting cancer, still be in here. I
- 3:19Speaker 1: feel like she get the whole damn month. Okay that's
- 3:22Speaker 1: just me, but happy birthday, Leady and Gray, thank you
- 3:25Speaker 1: for everything you do for us behind the scenes. Guys,
- 3:29Speaker 1: she's a moderator. She researches stuff, she helps write stuff
- 3:33Speaker 1: for us. Let's just say she's all around fabulous. Okay,
- 3:36Speaker 1: So we want her to have a great birthday. Now
- 3:40Speaker 1: to the not so great stuff. So in a quiet,
- 3:44Speaker 1: tree lined neighborhood of Druid Hills, Atlanta, a young woman
- 3:49Speaker 1: vanished under very weird circumstances that are so subtle they
- 3:56Speaker 1: almost seem ordinary. But it's not so on the surface.
- 4:03Speaker 1: Twenty five year old Jennaville van Guelderin was simply house
- 4:08Speaker 1: sitting for her parents while they were out of town.
- 4:11Speaker 1: She was responsible, dependable, and trusted to care for their
- 4:16Speaker 1: home and their elderly cat. But by the time her
- 4:21Speaker 1: parents returned from their trip, Jenna was gone, and the
- 4:24Speaker 1: details left behind only make this mystery even crazier. So
- 4:31Speaker 1: the last known communication from Jenna came in the early
- 4:35Speaker 1: morning hours of August nineteenth, twenty seventeen. She had texted
- 4:40Speaker 1: a friend around two am saying she was going to bed.
- 4:44Speaker 1: After that radio silence, guys, no calls, no texts, no
- 4:49Speaker 1: social media activity. Nothing. Now, Later that morning, when a
- 4:55Speaker 1: friend who happened to be a registered vet tech arrived
- 4:59Speaker 1: at their home to administer medication to the cat, there
- 5:03Speaker 1: was no answer at the door, so that friend called
- 5:06Speaker 1: Jenna's brother, Will and asked to be let in. When
- 5:10Speaker 1: they went in the house, the lights and television were
- 5:13Speaker 1: still on, but something was off. Jenna's makeup and shoes
- 5:18Speaker 1: were still there, but her suitcase, cell phone, and car
- 5:23Speaker 1: were gone. Also. Guys, then there was this missing tapestry.
- 5:29Speaker 1: So it was a distinctive handstitched Egyptian tapestry that had
- 5:34Speaker 1: been framed and hung in the home for years. But
- 5:37Speaker 1: it was gone. It wasn't just taken, It had been
- 5:41Speaker 1: carefully removed the frame glass, I mean, it had been
- 5:46Speaker 1: cut and replaced. The tapestry had sentimental value to the family.
- 5:53Speaker 1: It was a piece that had passed down through generations.
- 5:57Speaker 1: So the disappearance of that feels very deliberate. So does
- 6:03Speaker 1: Jenna's disappearance. Now. Weeks later, her dark blue Moss To
- 6:08Speaker 1: six would be found parked on a quiet residential street
- 6:12Speaker 1: several miles away. The gas tank was nearly empty, and
- 6:17Speaker 1: the driver's seat had been pushed far back, as though
- 6:20Speaker 1: someone much taller had been behind the wheel. Now, her suitcase, wallet,
- 6:27Speaker 1: and glasses were inside. So were a pair of unfamiliar
- 6:32Speaker 1: shoes and a phone charger that didn't belong to Jenna,
- 6:37Speaker 1: but her cell phones, both of them were gone. Now,
- 6:43Speaker 1: as investigators looked closer, they begin to learn that Jenna
- 6:47Speaker 1: had been leading a life that her parents hadn't fully
- 6:49Speaker 1: known about. Guys, that is not overly strange. I don't
- 6:54Speaker 1: think any of us tell our parents everything once we
- 6:57Speaker 1: get older. Now, she had recently lost a job, and
- 7:01Speaker 1: in the months before her disappearance she had been charged
- 7:05Speaker 1: with misdemeanor theft. Now her parents believe she had been
- 7:09Speaker 1: manipulated by new acquaintances who took advantage of her trusting nature.
- 7:16Speaker 1: Now she had moved out of the family home and
- 7:20Speaker 1: refused to say where she was living. Okay, guys, once again,
- 7:24Speaker 1: that's a little odd, but not necessarily overly strange. Maybe
- 7:31Speaker 1: she just wanted to feel like she was being independent.
- 7:34Speaker 1: I don't know. They found she had a second phone
- 7:37Speaker 1: that was hidden from her parents, So she was clearly
- 7:40Speaker 1: seeking more independence. But from what or from whom remains
- 7:47Speaker 1: unclear to this day. Now, there were no signs of
- 7:51Speaker 1: force entry at the home. There was no indications of
- 7:55Speaker 1: a struggle. It was if Jenna had simply stepped out
- 7:59Speaker 1: into the night and never returned. Now, Jenna's second cell
- 8:04Speaker 1: phone pinged near Fairburn, Georgia, which is about twenty miles away,
- 8:10Speaker 1: and her car before being found, was spotted on a
- 8:12Speaker 1: license plate reader in Atlanta. Now, please do not know
- 8:16Speaker 1: if Jenna was with her phone or the car, because guys,
- 8:21Speaker 1: when it pined that day and time her car was
- 8:24Speaker 1: seen on that license plate reader, it was not in
- 8:27Speaker 1: the same place, Okay, But yet every clue suggested she
- 8:33Speaker 1: hadn't gone far willingly or alone. So years have passed
- 8:40Speaker 1: since that quiet August morning, and the questions still echo.
- 8:44Speaker 1: Why was that tapestry taken? Who moved Jenna's car? And
- 8:49Speaker 1: what happened in the hours after she sent that final text.
- 8:54Speaker 1: I can't help but think possibly did someone think that
- 8:58Speaker 1: tapestry was is monetarily valuable? Were they thinking it was
- 9:03Speaker 1: something that they could sell easily? I don't know, But
- 9:07Speaker 1: the most important question is where is Jenna van Gueldren.
- 9:13Speaker 1: Her family continues to search and to hope and to
- 9:17Speaker 1: believe that someone out there knows something, because, as we
- 9:22Speaker 1: have said, people do not just vanish. Now, despite thorough investigations,
- 9:31Speaker 1: no significant leads have emerged. Jenna's family fears she may
- 9:36Speaker 1: be may being held against her will, against her will,
- 9:41Speaker 1: not her will. Her case remains unsolved and authorities urge
- 9:46Speaker 1: anyone with information to contact the Decab County Police Department
- 9:51Speaker 1: at seven seven zero seven two four seven seven five.
- 10:00Speaker 1: So this next case was. The early hours of September thirteenth,
- 10:06Speaker 1: twenty thirteen were quiet in Marietta, Georgia, until Tiffany Michelle
- 10:12Speaker 1: Whenten vanished. Tiffany was twenty six years old and had
- 10:17Speaker 1: been at the Walmart supercenter on Cobb Parkway around two
- 10:21Speaker 1: am with her boyfriend, Ashley Red Coddle. Guys that name
- 10:28Speaker 1: red Coddle just cracks me up, sorry. The two had
- 10:32Speaker 1: been wandering aisles for about an hour now. Store surveillance
- 10:36Speaker 1: showed Tiffany under the influence, acting erratic in fidgety as
- 10:43Speaker 1: she tucked merchandise into her clothing, and it was just
- 10:47Speaker 1: enough to raise red flags. Now, as they headed for
- 10:51Speaker 1: the exit to Walmart, employees stepped in. They suspected Tiffany
- 10:56Speaker 1: of shoplifting guys. Tiffany froze then bolted, leaving behind her purse,
- 11:03Speaker 1: her shoes, and her boyfriend. Now she sprinted barefoot into
- 11:07Speaker 1: the night, vanishing beyond the reach of the security cameras
- 11:12Speaker 1: by two o four am. That was the last time
- 11:16Speaker 1: anyone saw her. She didn't come back. Now, Tiffany wasn't
- 11:23Speaker 1: a stranger to trouble. At the time of her disappearance.
- 11:26Speaker 1: She was battling addictions to heroin and meth. She had
- 11:30Speaker 1: been fired from her job at I Hop And if
- 11:33Speaker 1: you don't know what I Hop is, it's the International
- 11:36Speaker 1: House of Pancakes. I learned recently. Not everybody knows what
- 11:40Speaker 1: that is, but that I Hoop was across the street
- 11:44Speaker 1: from that Walmart and she was let go for stealing. Now,
- 11:48Speaker 1: she was also on probation for burglary, but it was
- 11:52Speaker 1: said to expire in March of twenty fourteen. Still, despite
- 11:57Speaker 1: the chaos of her life, she was active on social
- 12:00Speaker 1: media and deeply connected to her six year old daughter,
- 12:04Speaker 1: So they say it was not like her to just disappear. Now.
- 12:10Speaker 1: Kttle claimed he went to the eyehop after she ran,
- 12:14Speaker 1: asking staff if anyone had seen her. No one had,
- 12:19Speaker 1: but he never reported her missing. Okay, Coddle, why not?
- 12:26Speaker 1: Why I if you know, call me, let me know. Now.
- 12:32Speaker 1: It wasn't until January, four months later, that her mother,
- 12:36Speaker 1: who was taking care of her daughter, officially reported her
- 12:40Speaker 1: disappearance to Polas. She had grown to concerned after her
- 12:46Speaker 1: grandmother received a restitution notice from Walmart mentioning the items
- 12:50Speaker 1: Tiffany had tried to take. So when her grandmother got this,
- 12:54Speaker 1: she called Tiffany's mom. So that's when it became clear.
- 12:59Speaker 1: No one from her since then, not a friend, not family.
- 13:05Speaker 1: There was no trace online Now. Ten months after Tiffany
- 13:10Speaker 1: ran out of Walmart, investigators searched the house where Cadel lived,
- 13:15Speaker 1: which was his mother's home. They even excavated the backyard
- 13:20Speaker 1: but found nothing. People close to the couple described their
- 13:24Speaker 1: relationship as volatile guys. A lot of time when drugs
- 13:30Speaker 1: are involved, there's a lot of volatility in relationships. Arguments
- 13:35Speaker 1: often turned intensed, and at least one had led to
- 13:38Speaker 1: an eviction. Now Coddl was a vasive about details from
- 13:43Speaker 1: the night Tiffany vanished, giving conflicting accounts now guys. He
- 13:48Speaker 1: has since been sentenced to twenty years in jail for
- 13:51Speaker 1: unrelated meth charges and for possessing a firearm while being
- 13:57Speaker 1: a convicted felony. He does remain a person of interest. Now,
- 14:03Speaker 1: Tiffany went and didn't just run from a store that night,
- 14:07Speaker 1: She guys, ran straight into a mystery, one that to
- 14:11Speaker 1: this day remains unsolved. Her case is still open, and
- 14:17Speaker 1: somewhere someone knows what happened after two am. And as
- 14:24Speaker 1: I have said before, anyone could run away or run
- 14:29Speaker 1: off because they want to get away from something or somebody.
- 14:32Speaker 1: That doesn't mean something nefarious doesn't happen without her shoes. Guys,
- 14:39Speaker 1: she could have ran up to a stranger looking for help.
- 14:42Speaker 1: They said she was fidgety, she was probably on drugs.
- 14:46Speaker 1: Or guys, maybe she went back to the truck and
- 14:49Speaker 1: hidden the truck and Cottle just said she didn't make
- 14:54Speaker 1: it back to the truck. I mean so many things now. Sadly, guys,
- 14:59Speaker 1: Tiffany's case has not received a lot of media attention,
- 15:03Speaker 1: even though she is a one young white female. I
- 15:06Speaker 1: often say, if you're a white female, blue eyes, blonde hair,
- 15:10Speaker 1: you're gonna get a lot of attention, the guys. Sadly,
- 15:13Speaker 1: as we have learned while covering missing person cases that
- 15:17Speaker 1: sometimes the media does not talk about cases of missing
- 15:21Speaker 1: people who had drug issues or if they're not the
- 15:25Speaker 1: perfect victim. I personally believe that is what happened in
- 15:29Speaker 1: this case. They just kind of wrote her off, which
- 15:35Speaker 1: she was. You know, she had gone to rehab before.
- 15:38Speaker 1: You know, it's an addiction. It's a long process. So
- 15:43Speaker 1: she's still someone's mother, child, granddaughter, friend. So if you
- 15:50Speaker 1: have any information about the disappearance of Tiffany Michelle Witten,
- 15:56Speaker 1: no matter how small or how seemingly and important you
- 16:00Speaker 1: think it is, please contact the Marietta Police Department at
- 16:06Speaker 1: seven seven zero seven nine four five three zero zero. Also,
- 16:12Speaker 1: please share the missing person flyers that we post on
- 16:16Speaker 1: Midday Missings Facebook page. Help get the word out. And
- 16:20Speaker 1: if you live in Georgia, share it everywhere you can,
- 16:24Speaker 1: share it on your neighborhoods, everywhere you can. Let's help
- 16:29Speaker 1: these families find their loved one. Now I have some
- 16:35Speaker 1: interesting tips for you today. Now in case you didn't know,
- 16:40Speaker 1: and if you don't know, you probably are going to
- 16:41Speaker 1: be panicked if you have children. Easter is this weekend, okay,
- 16:47Speaker 1: so you need to be prepared. Now. We are not
- 16:52Speaker 1: having children here this Easter. We are doing an adult's
- 16:55Speaker 1: only Easter brunch, but some of these still apply to us. Okay,
- 17:00Speaker 1: you need to supervise those egg huntskies, if it's plastic
- 17:05Speaker 1: eggs filled with candy or re old ones dyed with care.
- 17:09Speaker 1: Make sure kids and pups are always supervised. Okay, and guys,
- 17:15Speaker 1: keep a head count on the eggs and the children,
- 17:19Speaker 1: and maybe one on Uncle Bob to just in case,
- 17:22Speaker 1: especially if you're serving peptinis, which I will be making,
- 17:27Speaker 1: because you need to make sure everyone's accounted for. Okay,
- 17:32Speaker 1: and guys, chocolate bunnies and the chocolate robin candies are
- 17:37Speaker 1: delicious for humans that they are dangerous for dogs. Okay,
- 17:43Speaker 1: so please keep all chocolate out of paws reach and
- 17:48Speaker 1: stick to pet safe treats for your four legged guests.
- 17:52Speaker 1: So buy them some cute little treats so they won't
- 17:55Speaker 1: need to eat the chocolate. Okay. Now avoid real grows
- 18:00Speaker 1: and baskets. Okay. That shiny plastic easter grass, Believe it
- 18:04Speaker 1: or not, guys, it's a major choking hazard for toddlers
- 18:09Speaker 1: and for dogs and cats. Okay, so opt for the
- 18:13Speaker 1: paper filler that you can buy or reusable fabric. Guys,
- 18:17Speaker 1: it's not only safer, it's more echo friendly. Okay. Now, guys.
- 18:22Speaker 1: You also, when I say count the eggs, another thing.
- 18:27Speaker 1: Forgotten eggs in the sun become rotten little time bombs. Okay,
- 18:32Speaker 1: so if you're hiding real eggs, you want to make
- 18:36Speaker 1: sure none are left behind because they might become a
- 18:41Speaker 1: dog's mid day snack sometime. And trust me, you do
- 18:47Speaker 1: not want your dog to crack open that egg after
- 18:50Speaker 1: some time. And on the plastic ones, the chocolate melts.
- 18:55Speaker 1: Last year, we had two eggs that were not found
- 18:57Speaker 1: that day. Thankfully they were plastic, but when we found
- 19:00Speaker 1: them weeks later, all of the candy had melted, but
- 19:03Speaker 1: there was no bad smells and thankfully the dogs hadn't
- 19:06Speaker 1: cracked into him. Okay, Now keep your decorations pet and
- 19:12Speaker 1: kid safe. Okay, skip glass, sharp edged or small decorations
- 19:17Speaker 1: that can break or be swallowed. Okay. Now, bonus points
- 19:21Speaker 1: if you're like me and you use decorations that are chewproof,
- 19:24Speaker 1: slabber proof, and toddler tantrum proof, because even my five
- 19:29Speaker 1: year old threw a tantrum this past week when he
- 19:32Speaker 1: was here, and he was very dramatic, threw himself back
- 19:35Speaker 1: on the couch because he didn't want a toaster shrudel.
- 19:39Speaker 1: Luckily he didn't break anything. Also, guys, whether you are
- 19:45Speaker 1: hosting a brunch or an Easter egg party, make sure
- 19:50Speaker 1: there's lots of water, not just Mimosa's, a bloody mary
- 19:55Speaker 1: bar or a peptini. Okay. You need to have water
- 19:59Speaker 1: for the adults and the little ones. Okay. So and
- 20:04Speaker 1: if you're bringing a dog with you, you need to
- 20:06Speaker 1: make sure you have a water bowl for them. Okay.
- 20:09Speaker 1: And guys, this is to me because I've done this before.
- 20:15Speaker 1: If your dog hates dressing up as a bunny, don't
- 20:19Speaker 1: force them. Do not make them wear the easter ears
- 20:23Speaker 1: or cats as my girlfriend Catherine does, because if they
- 20:26Speaker 1: don't like it, there's a reason. Okay, So just skip it.
- 20:31Speaker 1: Just skip it now. I do hope everyone has a joyful, safe,
- 20:37Speaker 1: love filled Easter, and just remember a little planning goes
- 20:41Speaker 1: along ways towards a hoppy holiday. I mean, guys, I
- 20:45Speaker 1: even send out Easter cards because that's me, because I'm
- 20:48Speaker 1: a little special right now, I do want to thank
- 20:51Speaker 1: you all for joining me today. I'll look forward to
- 20:54Speaker 1: seeing you again on Wednesday. For our next episode of
- 20:57Speaker 1: Midday Missing, Where Will We Be? We will be covering
- 21:00Speaker 1: Chase Lackey and Ian Wilcox. Now True Crime and Wine
- 21:04Speaker 1: Time airs every Thursday at eight pm Central nine pm Eastern,

- 21:13Speaker 1: true trime case, perfectly paired with wine or a cocktail. Now,
- 21:19Speaker 1: this week we will cover the case of the disappearance
- 21:23Speaker 1: that baffles Ireland. Trevor Deeley. Guys, it's a case. Okay,
- 21:30Speaker 1: it's a case. Now. In case you haven't heard, or
- 21:35Speaker 1: if you're new here, we have been doing a live
- 21:39Speaker 1: series on Sundays of the Zizian Cult. Now, this Sunday
- 21:45Speaker 1: we will not be on because it's Easter, but we
- 21:49Speaker 1: will be back next Sunday. Now we are exploring their
- 21:52Speaker 1: radical beliefs and the disturbing trail of violence and a
- 21:56Speaker 1: shocking body count. So this is on Sunday at eight
- 22:00Speaker 1: pm centrol I had to miss the last two and
- 22:05Speaker 1: I'm kind of feeling like I missed out. I watched them,
- 22:09Speaker 1: but I still feel like I was missing out because
- 22:10Speaker 1: I wasn't there to hang out with you guys. But
- 22:13Speaker 1: luckily producer Ta cappin in of course jt All did
- 22:19Speaker 1: a great job. Now, Oh and it looks like not
- 22:23Speaker 1: a drama Lamas says she got my glitter filled Easter card. Yes, guys,
- 22:29Speaker 1: you cannot mail cards without glitter or confetti. If you are,
- 22:34Speaker 1: you need to stop doing that. You always need to
- 22:36Speaker 1: have glitter on hand. In my case, it's always peak glitter.
- 22:40Speaker 1: It's required. Okay, even if you're not a Southern girl. Okay, now,
