Jeffrey Epstein's Core Four And The Abandonment Of Justice · The Epstein Chronicles

Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles.
0:05
Speaker 1: One of the most confounding questions when it comes to
0:08
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein and his criminal enterprise is how is it
0:11
Speaker 1: that Ghislaine Maxwell is the only one that's sitting in jail? Now,
0:16
Speaker 1: don't get it twisted. She's exactly where she belongs, but
0:19
Speaker 1: there's a lot of other people that belong in jail
0:22
Speaker 1: cells as well, and you don't have to look far
0:24
Speaker 1: to find those names. Leslie Groff, Adriana Ross, Sarah Kellen Vickers. Now,
0:30
Speaker 1: Nadia Marcinkova, that's a special case. I've talked about her
0:34
Speaker 1: at length, and the fact that she was purchased by
0:36
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein, allegedly, when she was a child, and groomed
0:40
Speaker 1: into that role, that's a whole ass different matter. Now,
0:43
Speaker 1: the other three, Adriana Ross, Leslie Groff, and Sarah Kellen Vickers,
0:48
Speaker 1: they all should be brought in, they should all be deposed,
0:51
Speaker 1: and there's certainly enough evidence here to build a case.
0:54
Speaker 1: The question is, why has no case been built? And
0:57
Speaker 1: we've heard for years and years about the co-conspirators and
1:00
Speaker 1: how the case wasn't over yet. Well, sure looks over
1:03
Speaker 1: to me. Has there been any sort of movement? Has
1:07
Speaker 1: anyone been brought in? And let's not act like these
1:10
Speaker 1: court documents... are giving us new information. It's just reaffirming
1:14
Speaker 1: the stuff that we knew previously. I mean, Judge Nathan,
1:17
Speaker 1: during the Maxwell trial, called Sarah Kellen Vickers part of
1:21
Speaker 1: the criminal operation. Is that not enough to get something
1:25
Speaker 1: kicked off here and have her brought in? At the
1:28
Speaker 1: very least, have her brought in, put her under oath,
1:31
Speaker 1: and let's see what comes of it. But we haven't
1:33
Speaker 1: even seen that yet. So when they talk about their
1:36
Speaker 1: robust investigation behind the scenes, I have to say that
1:39
Speaker 1: it's bullshit. Today's article is from thedailymail.com and the headline.
1:44
Speaker 1: As new documents uncover details about sex trafficking conspiracy, why
1:49
Speaker 1: weren't these four women in the dock with Ghislaine for
1:51
Speaker 1: also enabling Epstein? And that's the million dollar question, isn't it?
1:55
Speaker 1: How is it that these other co-conspirators get off and
1:58
Speaker 1: Ghislaine Maxwell is the only one sitting in a jail cell? Now,
2:02
Speaker 1: don't get it twisted. Like I said, Maxwell definitely belongs
2:05
Speaker 1: in a jail cell. But what about the other co-conspirators?
2:09
Speaker 1: This article was authored by Stephen Wright. One evening in 2021,
2:14
Speaker 1: I knocked on the door of a smart, detached house
2:16
Speaker 1: in a leafy suburb of West Palm Beach, Florida. The
2:20
Speaker 1: woman who answered was 60-year-old called Dorothy. She was babysitting
2:24
Speaker 1: her grandchildren and her daughter, Carolyn Andriano, on the property.
2:29
Speaker 1: I dearly wanted to speak to Carolyn. I knew that
2:32
Speaker 1: she had an explosive, shocking, poignant story to tell. A
2:35
Speaker 1: few weeks later, I had heard, her give her harrowing
2:38
Speaker 1: snapshot of her traumatic life from the witness box of
2:41
Speaker 1: a Manhattan courthouse where she testified against her sex abuser,
2:45
Speaker 1: the fallen British socialite, Ghislaine Maxwell. Dorothy and I immediately
2:50
Speaker 1: hit it off. We both passionately believed that the American
2:54
Speaker 1: legal and political establishment had engaged in a cynical cover-up
2:58
Speaker 1: to protect powerful, influential, and often wealthy figures linked to
3:03
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein's scandal. And I don't think anyone who's followed
3:06
Speaker 1: along thinks any different. Just take a look. All you
3:10
Speaker 1: have to do is look at the receipts that have
3:11
Speaker 1: been provided. Look at all the people who have been
3:13
Speaker 1: caught up. Look at all the people who enabled this
3:16
Speaker 1: sick fuck. And we're talking about a criminal conspiracy that
3:19
Speaker 1: span continents. Over the course of three hours, the straight-talking
3:24
Speaker 1: New Yorker explained what it was like to be the
3:27
Speaker 1: mother of an Epstein-Maxwell victim, and years earlier, she had
3:31
Speaker 1: thought her 14-year-old daughter was topping up her pocket money
3:35
Speaker 1: by cleaning a house for a wealthy man who lived
3:37
Speaker 1: in a mansion in Palm Beach. In reality, Carolyn was
3:41
Speaker 1: being paid $ 300 at a time to give Epstein sexualized massages,
3:45
Speaker 1: while similar sums were offered for her to find other
3:49
Speaker 1: underage girls for the same perverted purpose. The money was
3:52
Speaker 1: used to feed Carolyn's drug habit. And unfortunately, that's a
3:56
Speaker 1: tale that's all too common. When you have somebody who
3:59
Speaker 1: has suffered sexual abuse or violence, a lot of times
4:02
Speaker 1: they turn to drugs to try to escape their reality.
4:05
Speaker 1: And as we all know, that leads to disaster. That
4:08
Speaker 1: meeting with Dorothy paved the way for a world-exclusive male
4:11
Speaker 1: interview with Carolyn a week later. Tragically, however, that young
4:16
Speaker 1: woman's life ended far too soon. Tormented by her childhood
4:20
Speaker 1: experiences at the hands of Epstein and Maxwell, Carolyn, a
4:24
Speaker 1: striking 5'9, larger-than-life character with the mane of dyed red curls,
4:30
Speaker 1: died of an overdose in Florida in a hotel room
4:33
Speaker 1: last May. She was just 36 and left behind five
4:36
Speaker 1: children and her husband, John. This week, memories of my
4:40
Speaker 1: 2021 meeting with Dorothy came flooding back after the names
4:44
Speaker 1: of dozens of people connected to Epstein were made public
4:47
Speaker 1: in three large releases in court documents. They include Prince Andrew,
4:51
Speaker 1: former U.S. President Bill Clinton, who was alleged by Epstein
4:55
Speaker 1: to like them young, and a host of other famous
4:58
Speaker 1: or infamous individuals, including the late pedophile of pop, Michael Jackson,
5:03
Speaker 1: the celebrity magician David Copperfield, and even the famed British
5:06
Speaker 1: physicist Stephen Hawking. The sheer scale of the releases, many
5:11
Speaker 1: hundreds of pages, made me reflect on a simple question.
5:15
Speaker 1: How can it be, in a case so vast, which
5:18
Speaker 1: saw the organized sex trafficking of scores of minors and
5:21
Speaker 1: young women, only one person, Ghislaine Maxwell, is now in prison?
5:25
Speaker 1: And that is a legit gripe. Because while Maxwell certainly
5:29
Speaker 1: deserves to be there, there are a lot of other
5:31
Speaker 1: people who deserve to be there too. And for my money,
5:34
Speaker 1: we should start with the core four. Now, Marcinkova, like
5:37
Speaker 1: I said earlier, that's a special case. But the other three,
5:41
Speaker 1: forget it. I have no empathy for any of them.
5:43
Speaker 1: Grown-ass women, knew exactly what they were doing, getting rich,
5:47
Speaker 1: while they were helping Jeffrey Epstein, abused little girls. I mean,
5:51
Speaker 1: how much more clear could it be? Yet these women
5:53
Speaker 1: are out there running around free, living the high life.
5:56
Speaker 1: In 2021, Maxwell was convicted unanimously of five of the
6:01
Speaker 1: six charges against her. Four of the guilty verdicts were
6:04
Speaker 1: underpinned by Carolyn's allegations. The most serious offense, sex trafficking
6:09
Speaker 1: of a minor, related to Carolyn's case alone and carried
6:12
Speaker 1: a maximum 40-year jail term. Having sat through weeks of
6:16
Speaker 1: evidence at Maxwell's trial, I had no doubt that she
6:19
Speaker 1: deserved to be sent to jail for a long time,
6:22
Speaker 1: and I share that sentiment. There is no doubt that
6:24
Speaker 1: Maxwell is exactly where she belongs. She played her part.
6:29
Speaker 1: She wasn't, you know, a shrinking violet. She wasn't along
6:31
Speaker 1: for the ride. She was a key cog in the machine.
6:34
Speaker 1: And without Ghislaine Maxwell, this abuse never takes place. But
6:37
Speaker 1: just giving us Maxwell is not enough. There were other
6:40
Speaker 1: people involved, and they need to be held to account too.
6:44
Speaker 1: It was clear that she had lost her moral compass.
6:47
Speaker 1: The case against her was overwhelming. While her refusal to
6:50
Speaker 1: give evidence at trial seemed to me a mark of
6:53
Speaker 1: both her cowardice and her guilt. Look, when you show
6:56
Speaker 1: up to trial and you show up with nothing in
6:58
Speaker 1: your hands, you're in big trouble. You might as well
7:00
Speaker 1: just plead guilty. The burden is on the state, but
7:04
Speaker 1: that doesn't mean you don't have to prove your bullshit.
7:06
Speaker 1: You can't just show up there, make claims and be like,
7:09
Speaker 1: all right, that's the end of it. I'm heading home.
7:11
Speaker 1: You better be able to back that shit up. And
7:14
Speaker 1: Ghislaine Maxwell, besides loopholes and technicalities, had zero strategy. Nevertheless,
7:20
Speaker 1: the justice system only works when it's fair. And my
7:24
Speaker 1: overriding feeling at the end of the trial was that
7:27
Speaker 1: Maxwell should not have been the sole person to face justice,
7:30
Speaker 1: that others had got away with it. What about the drivers, pilots,
7:34
Speaker 1: domestic staff, and crucially young women who witnessed suspicious activity
7:39
Speaker 1: by Epstein and Maxwell or actively recruited girls to be abused?
7:44
Speaker 1: What was found on all the computers and security videos
7:46
Speaker 1: seized from Epstein's homes? What powerful individuals knew of or
7:51
Speaker 1: perhaps even shared in his crimes? There are so many
7:55
Speaker 1: unanswered questions, and that's why after all these years, we're
7:58
Speaker 1: still here asking those very same questions, and unfortunately, we
8:02
Speaker 1: still have no answers. The good news is, me and
8:04
Speaker 1: my fat mouth plan on asking these questions until we
8:08
Speaker 1: get some answers. Detectives are supposed to go where the
8:11
Speaker 1: evidence takes them, but it would seem that after allowing
8:14
Speaker 1: Epstein to cheat justice twice, first in a scandalous plea
8:17
Speaker 1: bargain he struck with prosecutors in 2008, And then by
8:21
Speaker 1: apparently committing suicide in prison in 2019, the U.S. authorities
8:26
Speaker 1: seem happy to have nailed Maxwell. Have they turned a
8:29
Speaker 1: blind eye to the activities of other offenders? For example,
8:34
Speaker 1: allegations against a number of women suspected of sex trafficking
8:37
Speaker 1: for Epstein have been allowed to wither on the vine. Namely,
8:41
Speaker 1: in the wake of Maxwell's conviction, prosecutors have faced calls
8:45
Speaker 1: to bring charges against four women previously granted immunity from prosecutions.
8:51
Speaker 1: Those are the women that I have dubbed the core four.
8:54
Speaker 1: And these were the women that made the whole entire
8:56
Speaker 1: thing move for Jeffrey Epstein. Without these women, no way
8:59
Speaker 1: it would happen. And that includes Maxwell. She was the boss.
9:03
Speaker 1: Look at it like the mafia. You have Jeffrey Epstein.
9:06
Speaker 1: He's the don. Maxwell, underboss. Then all of these lieutenants,
9:10
Speaker 1: they're the capos. And if this was the mafia, well,
9:13
Speaker 1: everybody would have went to jail. How come here only
9:16
Speaker 1: Maxwell went to jail? They include Sarah Kellan, personal assistant
9:21
Speaker 1: to Maxwell and Epstein. She has been dubbed Epstein's lieutenant
9:24
Speaker 1: for allegedly recruiting and booking girls for his massages. During
9:28
Speaker 1: Maxwell's trial, Kellan's name came up almost as much as
9:32
Speaker 1: the defendant's. And this is something I've been yelling about
9:34
Speaker 1: from mountaintops for years. Sarah Kellan Vickers was directly named
9:39
Speaker 1: in the courtroom by the judge. How is it that
9:42
Speaker 1: her door hasn't been kicked in yet? Carolyn Andreano claimed
9:45
Speaker 1: that for the first year or two after she met Maxwell,
9:49
Speaker 1: age 14, the latter called her to schedule massages for Epstein.
9:53
Speaker 1: After that, it was Miss Kellen who called her. Sarah Ransom,
9:57
Speaker 1: another victim, told the New York Times, It was Ghislaine
10:00
Speaker 1: and Sarah Kellen that showed me how to please Jeffrey.
10:03
Speaker 1: Kellen has said, I've been made out to be such
10:06
Speaker 1: a monster, but it's not true. I was raped and
10:08
Speaker 1: abused weekly. So if that's the case, how come you
10:11
Speaker 1: plead the fifth? When he got arrested the first time,
10:13
Speaker 1: you could have sent him to prison forever. If that
10:15
Speaker 1: was the case, and he truly did abuse you, You
10:18
Speaker 1: could have sent him to jail, prison, for the rest
10:21
Speaker 1: of his life. Instead, what did you do? You pleaded
10:24
Speaker 1: the fifth, right? Oh, I'm going to plead the fifth.
10:26
Speaker 1: I'm going to be protected by this NPA. So go
10:28
Speaker 1: get stuffed. I don't believe for a minute that Sarah
10:31
Speaker 1: Kellen Vickers was some kind of abused girl here. I
10:34
Speaker 1: believe that Sarah Kellen Vickers was doing the abusing. A
10:38
Speaker 1: second young woman who has been under close scrutiny... In
10:41
Speaker 1: the wake of the release of the latest Epstein documents
10:44
Speaker 1: is Adriana Ross, a former Polish model for the elite
10:48
Speaker 1: agency who allegedly helped to organize the pedophiles' daily massages.
10:53
Speaker 1: She moved to the U.S. in 2002 and worked at
10:56
Speaker 1: his mansion in Palm Beach, Florida, flying frequently on his
10:59
Speaker 1: private jet, nicknamed the Lolita Express, including with Clinton. Oh,
11:04
Speaker 1: good old Billy Boy. During a civil deposition in 2010,
11:08
Speaker 1: she was asked, has Prince Andrew ever been involved with
11:11
Speaker 1: underage minor females? To your knowledge, have you ever met him?
11:15
Speaker 1: Have you flown on Epstein's plane with Andrew? She declined
11:18
Speaker 1: to comment. So again, if you really were in fear
11:22
Speaker 1: of your life, you were being abused, and the government
11:25
Speaker 1: had this dude in the crosshairs finally, why didn't you
11:28
Speaker 1: step forward? Why didn't you help move things along? Now
11:32
Speaker 1: all of a sudden that you're in the spotlight for
11:34
Speaker 1: being one of the sick fucks who was raping people,
11:36
Speaker 1: now all of a sudden you're a victim too? We're
11:39
Speaker 1: not buying it. Save that shit for somebody else. The
11:42
Speaker 1: third woman who has been under suspicion is Nadia Marcinkova.
11:46
Speaker 1: According to police documents from 2005, Palm Beach Inquiry and Dabstein,
11:51
Speaker 1: the shame financier once bragged she was his sex slave
11:54
Speaker 1: and he had bought her from her family in the
11:56
Speaker 1: former Yugoslavia when she was 15. Now look, this is
12:00
Speaker 1: serious business. and Marcinkova, I don't think can be put
12:04
Speaker 1: on the same level as the other women. She was
12:07
Speaker 1: bought at 15 years old. You want to talk about
12:09
Speaker 1: Stockholm syndrome? You want to talk about grooming? It's like
12:12
Speaker 1: some fucking Hitler Youth type shit. You get a kid
12:14
Speaker 1: this age, you normalize all this, then by the time
12:17
Speaker 1: she's of age, this is her normal life. So when
12:21
Speaker 1: we talk about Nadia Marcinkova, I think we have to
12:24
Speaker 1: be very, very careful putting her in the same category
12:27
Speaker 1: as the other three. Ms. Marcinkova is alleged to have
12:30
Speaker 1: taken part in sexual encounters with underage girls. She visited
12:35
Speaker 1: him 67 times in prison while he was serving 13
12:38
Speaker 1: months in jail in 2008 for having sex with children.
12:42
Speaker 1: Her lawyers insist she was a victim and not an abuser.
12:47
Speaker 1: And I have to say, I agree with them. Now,
12:50
Speaker 1: she has to face the music, right? She has to
12:52
Speaker 1: come forward and she has to talk about everything she knows.
12:56
Speaker 1: But as far as punishments, I would think with her
12:58
Speaker 1: special circumstances that that would be something that the state
13:02
Speaker 1: or the federal government would take into consideration. Leslie Groff
13:07
Speaker 1: is the fourth woman who may have further questions to answer.
13:10
Speaker 1: She is said to have been Epstein's executive assistant for
13:13
Speaker 1: 20 years. In 2005, she boasted that she had such
13:17
Speaker 1: a tight bond with her boss that I know what
13:20
Speaker 1: he is thinking. Epstein's victims have described her as one
13:24
Speaker 1: of his schedulers based at his $ 75 million New York home.
13:28
Speaker 1: One such victim, Jennifer Oreos, claims that she was 14
13:32
Speaker 1: when Epstein began abusing and raping her, and that Ms.
13:35
Speaker 1: Groff was the chief scheduler of her massages. Two years ago, Ms. Groff,
13:41
Speaker 1: then 55, was living in a $ 2. 7 million house in
13:45
Speaker 1: Connecticut with her husband and children. Her lawyers said she
13:49
Speaker 1: had been under investigation by prosecutors for the past two years,
13:53
Speaker 1: but had been told that they had no plans to
13:55
Speaker 1: charge her. Can you imagine? How in the hell is
13:58
Speaker 1: that even possible? If you're even sniffing around a conspiracy,
14:02
Speaker 1: a real conspiracy, and they're going to charge somebody, everybody's
14:06
Speaker 1: going down. What, the federal prosecutors aren't going to just
14:11
Speaker 1: nail everybody and then figure it out later? But all
14:14
Speaker 1: of a sudden here, it's very targeted, right? Ask yourselves why,
14:19
Speaker 1: and really you should ask yourselves this question. How come
14:23
Speaker 1: there is no RICO here? This needs to be a
14:25
Speaker 1: RICO case. This is exactly what the RICO laws were
14:29
Speaker 1: put on the books for, and if it's good enough
14:31
Speaker 1: for John Gotti, it's good enough for Jeffrey Epstein and
14:33
Speaker 1: Glenn Maxwell. And here a fifth woman, who perhaps epitomizes
14:39
Speaker 1: the often complex relationship between abuser and abused. In her
14:43
Speaker 1: exclusive 2022 interview with The Mail, for which she was
14:47
Speaker 1: not paid, Carolyn alleged that Virginia Roberts had told her
14:51
Speaker 1: in 2001 that as a 17-year-old, she slept with Prince
14:54
Speaker 1: Andrew in London. While a now infamous contemporary picture shows
14:59
Speaker 1: Roberts posing at Maxwell's home with the late Queen's second son,
15:04
Speaker 1: Carolyn's account was the first time there had been any
15:06
Speaker 1: independent report of Virginia's purported meeting with Andrew, which the
15:10
Speaker 1: Duke maintains he cannot remember unless we're talking about on
15:15
Speaker 1: the island, because we have somebody who came forward and
15:18
Speaker 1: said the same exact thing. We have a worker who
15:21
Speaker 1: came forward down there and said, look, I saw Virginia
15:24
Speaker 1: with Prince Andrew on this island. So there's more corroboration there,
15:29
Speaker 1: more receipts. Carolyn made it clear she held Virginia responsible
15:33
Speaker 1: for delivering her into Epstein and Maxwell's clutches. For her part, Ms.
15:37
Speaker 1: Roberts has admitted that she actively recruited young girls for Epstein,
15:41
Speaker 1: something she says she now bitterly regrets. That was all
15:45
Speaker 1: part of it, unfortunately. The only way you were going
15:48
Speaker 1: to stick around is if you brought other girls. The
15:50
Speaker 1: only way you were going to make more money is
15:52
Speaker 1: if you added to the stable. So it was a
15:55
Speaker 1: disgusting cycle of abuse. And the sad part is, it
15:58
Speaker 1: was allowed to go on for all these years. Even
16:00
Speaker 1: though Maria Farmer and Annie Farmer told the FBI what
16:03
Speaker 1: was going on in the mid-90s, this shit was allowed
16:06
Speaker 1: to go on. And Carolyn was scathing of Maxwell, now 62.
16:11
Speaker 1: I want all women to know what happened to me
16:14
Speaker 1: when I was a teenager and how it has affected
16:16
Speaker 1: my life, she told us. I want to be a
16:18
Speaker 1: voice for all survivors of sexual abuse so that they
16:21
Speaker 1: are not afraid to come forward even years later. Privately
16:25
Speaker 1: educated Maxwell continues to protest her innocence and is reportedly
16:30
Speaker 1: conducting etiquette lessons for fellow inmates at Tallahassee Federal Correctional
16:35
Speaker 1: Institution in Florida, where she is serving a 20-year sentence
16:39
Speaker 1: for child abuse and sex trafficking. Her pedophile ex-boyfriend took
16:44
Speaker 1: his many secrets to the grave, and not everyone believes
16:47
Speaker 1: he truly committed suicide. A few days after Carolyn gave
16:51
Speaker 1: evidence against Maxwell, she sent her mother a YouTube video
16:55
Speaker 1: featuring a song called I Don't Feel Anymore. Dorothy played
16:59
Speaker 1: it to me and for the first time in our interview,
17:02
Speaker 1: wept as she listened to the lyrics. I have always
17:05
Speaker 1: felt like I don't belong here. It's been a long year.
17:08
Speaker 1: It's been a long life. How heartbreaking is that? That's
17:12
Speaker 1: the memory you have of your daughter after all of
17:14
Speaker 1: this bullshit? And if everybody else is going to forget
17:18
Speaker 1: what happened here, if everybody else is just going to
17:20
Speaker 1: move on to a new story, well, that's cool. We're
17:23
Speaker 1: not going to do that here. I can chew gum
17:25
Speaker 1: and walk at the same time. We'll continue to pound
17:28
Speaker 1: home on this story until there's nothing left to pound
17:30
Speaker 1: home on. Tears filled Dorothy's eyes as she reflected on
17:35
Speaker 1: her daughter's mental state. Nobody knows how deep this goes,
17:38
Speaker 1: she says. I don't know whether she is going to
17:41
Speaker 1: be alive from one day to another. Now, tragically, she
17:44
