- 0:05Speaker 1: This is America with Rich Valdez, powered by politweek dot Com.
- 0:10Speaker 2: Rich Valdes is with us former Christian administration officials.
- 0:13Speaker 3: You worked with Chris Christie.
- 0:14Speaker 1: Have been Followista on a lot of public service stuff.
- 0:16Speaker 4: Rick Valdez Communist now with the Washington Times.
- 0:18Speaker 3: This is America, Richiev. You're on the air with the Nation.
- 0:22Speaker 3: Nation with America with your hosts, Rich Valdez.
- 0:26Speaker 5: What's up, America.
- 0:28Speaker 4: I am Rich Valdidz Valdesz with ans on all of
- 0:31Speaker 4: the social media. You're liberty loving Latino, amigo, seventeen miles
- 0:35Speaker 4: away from Madison Square Garden, New York City. Blessed to
- 0:38Speaker 4: be on this microphone with all of you. And for me,
- 0:41Speaker 4: it's a beautiful Monday, December eighth, twenty twenty five. Were
- 0:44Speaker 4: doing two hours today, by the way, and I'm feeling
- 0:47Speaker 4: that Island vibe even in this chili big apple weather.
- 0:51Speaker 4: It's like a fresh bean echo out that with a
- 0:53Speaker 4: sight of maludos.
- 0:54Speaker 5: If you know what I'm talking about, you know you know.
- 0:56Speaker 4: But first off, I want to jump into the world
- 0:59Speaker 4: of politics, and oh man, this is like a side
- 1:02Speaker 4: of side Dants where everybody's stepping up except the people
- 1:04Speaker 4: that would tripping over their own feet last term. Now
- 1:07Speaker 4: check this out, borders. Our Tom Homan just dropped the
- 1:10Speaker 4: mic saying that the Trump administration has already rescued sixty
- 1:14Speaker 4: two thousand missing migrant kids from some seriously evil situations
- 1:18Speaker 4: like sex trafficking and child labor. I think this is
- 1:21Speaker 4: huge on me, he goes, Now, the real heroes are
- 1:24Speaker 4: these guys that are at work every day saving these lives,
- 1:27Speaker 4: restoring order at the border, doing what has to be done.
- 1:30Speaker 5: And I think that's a blessing.
- 1:32Speaker 4: And we're going to get into some of that and
- 1:34Speaker 4: hear Tom Holman's comments as well, but from my perspective,
- 1:38Speaker 4: this is pure victory. And speaking of messes getting cleaned up,
- 1:44Speaker 4: there's a Somali scandal that's been brewing and brewing and
- 1:47Speaker 4: brewing that might tank Minnesota Governor Tim Wallas's career. Now
- 1:53Speaker 4: you would think that him just being himself right and
- 1:56Speaker 4: acting the way he does is what's tanking his career.
- 1:59Speaker 4: But turns out this massive fraud is hitting harder than
- 2:01Speaker 4: a lot of people expected, and with people like il
- 2:05Speaker 4: Han Omar, the congresswoman from Minnesota, calling out how Somalis
- 2:09Speaker 4: are getting victimized under his watch, wof I think this
- 2:12Speaker 4: is going to sting worse than biting into you know,
- 2:17Speaker 4: you name it a Somali pirate sandwich. Anyway, we will
- 2:22Speaker 4: continue ed Trompito and all this. Magnus the forty fifth
- 2:26Speaker 4: and forty seventh president of these United States, el president.
- 2:30Speaker 4: He's stirring the pot internationally too. The US envoys are
- 2:33Speaker 4: now chatting with Greenland officials. Oh are we taking Greenland again?
- 2:37Speaker 4: Amid tensions over his interest in the island. And if
- 2:41Speaker 4: anybody knows how to make a deal that's big, this
- 2:43Speaker 4: is the guy to get it done. He turns you know,
- 2:46Speaker 4: icebergs into opportunity in Greenland. And there's a damning memo
- 2:51Speaker 4: that just surfaced showing how the previous administration ignored warnings
- 2:55Speaker 4: that there's soft on immigration policies would spark chaos. You
- 3:00Speaker 4: know me, I say that it wasn't just soft that immigration, right,
- 3:03Speaker 4: that's putting it mildly. I said that this was the
- 3:06Speaker 4: Biden administration conducting an underground railroad, an illegal slave trade,
- 3:11Speaker 4: the largest largest slave trade we've ever seen in American history,
- 3:15Speaker 4: smuggling humans across the border. That's what Joe El Baboso
- 3:19Speaker 4: ke Mara Edis and Alejandro Majorcas did and they should
- 3:22Speaker 4: be a shade of themselves for doing it.
- 3:24Speaker 5: But this memo not good, No surprise there.
- 3:30Speaker 4: But now we're looking at that with the UH Muscle
- 3:34Speaker 4: of America first. Now, Pete Hexseth is laying out a
- 3:38Speaker 4: killer military strategy focused on strengthening America without these endless wars.
- 3:44Speaker 4: And listen, who doesn't love that? So I'm all into
- 3:48Speaker 4: it and I'm looking forward to it. And if you
- 3:49Speaker 4: got to, you know, bring about peace through strength by
- 3:52Speaker 4: blowing up one drug boat at a time.
- 3:55Speaker 5: No problem.
- 3:56Speaker 4: By the way, there's a new poll out that shows
- 3:59Speaker 4: that more and more Americans are in agreement with blowing
- 4:02Speaker 4: up these drug boats in order to protect the homeland
- 4:05Speaker 4: and to keep drugs out of our country.
- 4:07Speaker 5: Not too bad.
- 4:09Speaker 4: Now, shifting gears to what's going on globally, because you know, Ukraine, Russia,
- 4:15Speaker 4: that's still a whole thing. They're unleashing some underwater drones
- 4:19Speaker 4: to hit ships and ports. Wow, that's pretty cool. They're
- 4:23Speaker 4: doing that in the Black Sea. Now over in Nigeria,
- 4:27Speaker 4: you've got one hundred school kids that were abducted from
- 4:29Speaker 4: a Catholic school and they got freed after weeks of
- 4:33Speaker 4: being held captive. Praise God for that true miracle in
- 4:37Speaker 4: my opinion. But tragedy did strike in India with a
- 4:41Speaker 4: massive nightclub fire, killing twenty five people, including tourists. You know,
- 4:47Speaker 4: just on a pause there, just to get into that
- 4:50Speaker 4: for a second. This is the second time I heard
- 4:53Speaker 4: about that this year. Right, there was a big party
- 4:56Speaker 4: in Santo Domingo, Relican and the Dominican Republic that that
- 5:05Speaker 4: the roof fell in because there was you know, people
- 5:08Speaker 4: were over capacity and they had too many air conditioning
- 5:11Speaker 4: units on the roof of the nightclub and people were
- 5:13Speaker 4: killed there as well. All I could say is, look,
- 5:16Speaker 4: I haven't heard of this happening in the United States,
- 5:18Speaker 4: and I'm sure it has. But obviously when you go
- 5:21Speaker 4: abroad sometimes they don't have the same ball busting zoning officials,
- 5:26Speaker 4: right and building code inspectors and whatnot. And this is
- 5:30Speaker 4: probably the last time I'll ever say they're busting balls,
- 5:32Speaker 4: because you know, when it comes to engineering, you got
- 5:34Speaker 4: to get it right. Otherwise, tragedies like this happened, and
- 5:37Speaker 4: that's truly heartbreaking. So my thoughts, my prayers their way.
- 5:41Speaker 4: I hope you'll join me and sending some prayers to
- 5:43Speaker 4: their way and closer to home, NYU students are whining
- 5:47Speaker 4: about homeless people and junkies that are getting cleared from
- 5:50Speaker 4: a park despite the crime spike. Now, listen, this is interesting, right,
- 5:55Speaker 4: and a little bit in the second hour tonight, we're
- 5:57Speaker 4: going to be talking with Councilwoman Vicki Palladino from the
- 6:00Speaker 4: New York City Council. But it's so funny how we're
- 6:04Speaker 4: trying to clean things up with the homeless and it's
- 6:07Speaker 4: not not cleaning it up so much. Right, We're talking
- 6:10Speaker 4: about twenty eight degrees, twenty five degrees, twenty four degrees overnight.
- 6:15Speaker 5: People dying weather like that. Why is it okay?
- 6:18Speaker 4: Why is Zora and Mamdani saying, I don't think we
- 6:21Speaker 4: should be clearing up these homeless encampments, So you think
- 6:25Speaker 4: they should just stay there and freeze forty degrees at
- 6:28Speaker 4: night with some blankets and maybe a huddle and whatever. Maybe,
- 6:32Speaker 4: but twenty four degrees that sounds inhumane to me. Yet
- 6:37Speaker 4: nobody's saying that these guys are evil, that they're lacking
- 6:42Speaker 4: in humanity. Instead, it's a question of, no, we shouldn't
- 6:45Speaker 4: bother those people. They live there, nobody should be allowed
- 6:48Speaker 4: to sleep on the street. And those aren't my own words,
- 6:52Speaker 4: those are the words that may Or Giuliani told me.
- 6:54Speaker 4: He was my colleague back in I guess I was
- 6:57Speaker 4: twenty nineteen, twenty eighteen, twenty twenty during the pandemic, prior
- 7:02Speaker 4: to pandemic, and I remember him telling me. You know,
- 7:06Speaker 4: I asked him, I said, why did you know, how
- 7:09Speaker 4: did you do it? And what was the impetus for that?
- 7:11Speaker 4: And that's what he told me. He said, Rich, it's
- 7:14Speaker 4: not okay for people to sleep on the street. From
- 7:17Speaker 4: a moral positioning, it's wrong. And honestly, that was never
- 7:22Speaker 4: a I'd never looked at it that way that, you know,
- 7:26Speaker 4: it's kind of restating the obvious, right. I think we
- 7:28Speaker 4: all think, yeah, that's wrong, but it was never a
- 7:31Speaker 4: matter of public policy, and that was his public policy position.
- 7:34Speaker 4: It's wrong, it's inhumane. It lacks humanity to allow your
- 7:37Speaker 4: fellow man, your neighbor, to sleep on the street when
- 7:40Speaker 4: it's freezing cold. So kudo's to Mayor Giuliani, and a
- 7:44Speaker 4: big thumbs down to Zora Mumdani because he's a pindilm
- 7:48Speaker 4: and he's getting this wrong. This sounds like Netflix drama,
- 7:52Speaker 4: but it's actually real life. Anyway, Let's lighten things up
- 7:55Speaker 4: a little bit with some entertainment and pop culture headlines,
- 7:58Speaker 4: because who doesn't need to laugh every now and again
- 8:01Speaker 4: after all this heavy stuff. I know I do, and
- 8:03Speaker 4: you guys know what I do to get this stuff
- 8:05Speaker 4: out of my head. To brainwash myself. I watch shows
- 8:08Speaker 4: like The Jersey Shore and other dramas, you know, Jersey
- 8:12Speaker 4: shows reality. But there's a drama that I'm watching, a
- 8:15Speaker 4: crime drama called The Family Business with my friend Sean Ringold.
- 8:19Speaker 4: It's on BET but it's streaming on Paramount Plus and
- 8:23Speaker 4: on Amazon Prime. Let me tell you, I enjoy it.
- 8:27Speaker 4: It's a little Hollywood, a little bit, a little bit
- 8:29Speaker 4: racy at times, but the plot is interesting. Ernie Hudson
- 8:33Speaker 4: he's the original Ghostbuster. I mean, this is an amazing cast.
- 8:36Speaker 4: They get along well, they have a good chemistry, I
- 8:39Speaker 4: could say, and it's a really good show. So shout
- 8:42Speaker 4: out to Sean Ringold and The Family Business. And like
- 8:46Speaker 4: I said, entertainment news. Jason Bateman, he was great in Ozark,
- 8:50Speaker 4: by the way, making some rare comments about his sister Justine.
- 8:55Speaker 5: Now I don't know what the Tea is on that.
- 8:58Speaker 4: Maybe we'll get into it a little bit later and
- 9:00Speaker 4: maybe we'll bring in a guest later this week, maybe Friday,
- 9:03Speaker 4: to do some entertainment news. But just wanted to put
- 9:06Speaker 4: that out there, and if I get to it before
- 9:07Speaker 4: the end of the show, I definitely will. And Cardi B.
- 9:10Speaker 4: You remember Cardi B, the rapper from the Bronx. She's
- 9:13Speaker 4: making a boatload of cash and she was the one
- 9:15Speaker 4: that she was like. She supported Bernie Sanders, then she
- 9:18Speaker 4: supported Joe Biden. But she also did a wonderful rant
- 9:23Speaker 4: about how she don't want the government take out her money.
- 9:25Speaker 4: She's talking about taxes. Cardi B is way more conservative
- 9:29Speaker 4: than she thinks. She should take a page from the
- 9:32Speaker 4: Queen Nicki Minaj and really look at things for what
- 9:35Speaker 4: they are and call them what they are. There's no
- 9:38Speaker 4: need to hate on Trump as much as we do.
- 9:40Speaker 4: And I might say we, I mean America, when in
- 9:43Speaker 4: fact these policies they really do benefit the American people.
- 9:48Speaker 4: Let me see anyway, she just got a wild new
- 9:52Speaker 4: neck and back piercing. Man, that's crazy. This is like spicy,
- 9:58Speaker 4: very spicy, spicier than my lead ess on Coocho recipe
- 10:01Speaker 4: and I can't wait to see it. I'm not looking
- 10:04Speaker 4: at an image. I just read the headline for that.
- 10:05Speaker 4: Billy Ray Silas Take two Billy Ray Cyrus. He's clapping
- 10:09Speaker 4: back at a woman claiming she's Miley's mom in a lawsuit.
- 10:15Speaker 4: So little family drama going on there. The Achy Breaky
- 10:18Speaker 4: Heart two point zero. Kate Winslet is blasting the terrifying
- 10:22Speaker 4: plastic surgery epidemic and weight loss drugs like ozempic and others.
- 10:27Speaker 4: Why I don't know, but she says that it's no winnom,
- 10:30Speaker 4: so we're gonna find out what's up with that.
- 10:32Speaker 5: And let me see.
- 10:34Speaker 4: There was a couple of other headlines I wanted to
- 10:35Speaker 4: get into here, but these are kind of cheesy, so
- 10:38Speaker 4: I'm gonna skip over those.
- 10:41Speaker 5: Sports.
- 10:41Speaker 4: You know, I don't do sports wrapping up with the
- 10:44Speaker 4: medical stuff. I don't like to wrap up with medical Actually,
- 10:46Speaker 4: I like to keep that a little first and foremost.
- 10:49Speaker 4: But this is where it is. Let's see medical news
- 10:53Speaker 4: because we have to know what's going on. A paralyzed
- 10:56Speaker 4: woman is suing Moderna, blaming the COVID vaccine for her problems. WHOA,
- 11:01Speaker 4: the jab strikes again. This is pretty serious. Check this out.
- 11:06Speaker 4: Another vaccine story, a victim is speaking out as her
- 11:10Speaker 4: bones are reportedly dying off.
- 11:12Speaker 5: Wow, that's brutal.
- 11:14Speaker 4: Uh.
- 11:16Speaker 5: Anyway, the FDA.
- 11:18Speaker 4: And the vaccine advocacy people, pro vaccine people, they're at
- 11:26Speaker 4: it again and they're saying there might be some therapy
- 11:28Speaker 4: for certain rare diseases.
- 11:30Speaker 5: So we're gonna see what's going on with that.
- 11:32Speaker 4: As you know, we had a report on that on Friday,
- 11:35Speaker 4: and I don't think there's been too much change for that,
- 11:37Speaker 4: but there have been I talked about this last week too.
- 11:40Speaker 4: There are some rogue botox injections that people are buying
- 11:43Speaker 4: from social media, and people are still being hospitalized for those,
- 11:48Speaker 4: so stay away from those anyway, America, keep it locked
- 11:51Speaker 4: right here. That's what's going on so far. We're going
- 11:53Speaker 4: to continue the conversation straight ahead, lots to get into
- 11:56Speaker 4: some of the heavy stories, some of the lighter stories,
- 11:58Speaker 4: and then in the second an hour of the program,
- 12:01Speaker 4: our conversation with Councilwoman Vicki Palladino.
- 12:03Speaker 5: Keep it locked right here. I'm Rich Valdez, This.
- 12:06Speaker 3: Is America, This is America.
- 12:30Speaker 6: All of the programs.
- 12:34Speaker 5: Like America at Night with Rich Valdez, and Donald Trump
- 12:36Speaker 5: as a guest. Who's gonn watch Lady Night TV?
- 12:37Speaker 7: Come on?
- 12:38Speaker 6: Who would want to?
- 12:39Speaker 8: I want to listen to you Rich all the time?
- 12:41Speaker 5: All right?
- 12:42Speaker 4: I mean, he goes, welcome back. It's Rich Valdesk keeping
- 12:44Speaker 4: you company this Monday. And check this out. President Trump
- 12:47Speaker 4: getting into a sparring match in the press conference today,
- 12:52Speaker 4: going at it with Rachel Marble from I.
- 12:56Speaker 5: Think she's from ABC News and this is a good one.
- 12:59Speaker 5: Listen to this, President, President.
- 13:15Speaker 9: You said that you would have no mister President, you
- 13:17Speaker 9: said you would have no problem with releasing the full
- 13:19Speaker 9: video of that strike on September second off the coast
- 13:22Speaker 9: of Venezuela. Secretary Hegstack now says.
- 13:24Speaker 6: It's you said that. I didn't say that. This is
- 13:27Speaker 6: ABC fake news.
- 13:29Speaker 9: You said that you would have no problem releasing the
- 13:30Speaker 9: full bit. Okay, Well, Secretary Hegsack.
- 13:32Speaker 6: Whatever Hegseth wants to do is okay with you. He
- 13:34Speaker 6: now said, it's under review.
- 13:35Speaker 9: Are you ordering the secretary to release that full video?
- 13:38Speaker 6: Whatever he decides, it's okay with me.
- 13:41Speaker 8: So every boat we knock out of the water, every
- 13:43Speaker 8: boat we saved twenty five thousand American lives.
- 13:46Speaker 6: That was a boat loaded up with drugs. I saw
- 13:49Speaker 6: the video.
- 13:49Speaker 8: They were trying to turn the boat back to where
- 13:53Speaker 8: it could float, and we didn't want to see that
- 13:56Speaker 8: because that boat was loaded.
- 13:57Speaker 6: Up with drugs, just like everything else. But every boat
- 13:59Speaker 6: we should down.
- 14:01Speaker 8: And I don't know if you know, we're ninety two
- 14:03Speaker 8: or ninety four percent down in drugs coming in by
- 14:06Speaker 8: the sea, and we're trying to find who with the
- 14:08Speaker 8: six percent because I don't know. People aren't liking to
- 14:11Speaker 8: drive boats right now loaded up with drugs. But every
- 14:15Speaker 8: single put the thing of that, every single boat we
- 14:17Speaker 8: shoot out, on average, we save twenty five thousand American lives.
- 14:22Speaker 6: Do you feel okay about that? Cord? Keep us safe? Look,
- 14:25Speaker 6: I know, I know, my man. What about okay? We're
- 14:29Speaker 6: totally releasing the fool video. Didn't I just tell you
- 14:33Speaker 6: that said it.
- 14:34Speaker 8: Was obnoxious reporter in the whole place. Let me just
- 14:38Speaker 8: tell you you are an obnoxious, a terrible actually a
- 14:41Speaker 8: terrible reporter. And it's always the same thing with you.
- 14:44Speaker 8: I told you, whatever Pete Hegseth wants to do is.
- 14:48Speaker 6: Okay with me?
- 14:50Speaker 5: That is ed trumpito and forgive me. I called it.
- 14:52Speaker 4: Richard Marble it's Rachel Scott. I got that wrong in
- 14:56Speaker 4: the first iteration here. So now these back and forth
- 15:01Speaker 4: are interesting to me because I love it when Trump
- 15:03Speaker 4: calls out the fake news media, and I do remember
- 15:07Speaker 4: him saying, you know, if they want to release the video,
- 15:09Speaker 4: release the video. I love that Trump gives the Secretary
- 15:12Speaker 4: of the autonomy to do what needs to be done.
- 15:15Speaker 4: And I understand the media is doing their job as well, right,
- 15:18Speaker 4: I get it. She's saying, looked, we want to see
- 15:20Speaker 4: this video. We want to see this video. Now, I
- 15:22Speaker 4: know the strike from the other day. We saw that
- 15:26Speaker 4: video and the guy that was climbing out of the
- 15:29Speaker 4: boat climbing back into the boade, and you know it
- 15:33Speaker 4: was ultimately after they said there was a kill order
- 15:36Speaker 4: and at this and that, which is funny because it's
- 15:38Speaker 4: kind of like saying hush money, right, Obviously, if you're
- 15:41Speaker 4: paying somebody money on a non disclosure agreement, non disclosure
- 15:44Speaker 4: means to be quiet or like you tell the babies, hush,
- 15:47Speaker 4: So hush money just makes it sound so much worse,
- 15:50Speaker 4: just like a kill order. But what do you think
- 15:52Speaker 4: the generals are doing? The admirals, what do you think
- 15:55Speaker 4: they're doing when you have an enemy. You've labeled the
- 15:58Speaker 4: Narco terrorists, Arco terrorists, enemies of America, and you're pointing
- 16:03Speaker 4: battleships at them with missiles and guns and rockets and
- 16:06Speaker 4: all sorts of bombs. What do you think we're to
- 16:08Speaker 4: do tickle them? We're going to kill them? And I
- 16:11Speaker 4: think it's it's sometimes lost on those in the media.
- 16:15Speaker 4: So anyway, kudos to Ed Trompito for doing what he
- 16:18Speaker 4: had to do here. I think this was an important
- 16:21Speaker 4: conversation that had to be had with the media because
- 16:24Speaker 4: oftentimes they get it twisted. That's all I can say
- 16:27Speaker 4: on that one. Now, staying in Washington, there's some other
- 16:32Speaker 4: news here.
- 16:32Speaker 5: Check this out.
- 16:34Speaker 4: The United States House of Representatives is facing a mass exodus.
- 16:38Speaker 4: Nearly ten percent are not looking for reelection. Now, excuse me.
- 16:44Speaker 4: My brother and I go back and forth whenever this happens.
- 16:47Speaker 4: I always say, look, this is people that these are
- 16:50Speaker 4: people that have to get elected every two years. Now,
- 16:54Speaker 4: when you're a member of Congress, you increasingly make yourself
- 16:58Speaker 4: more valuable in most situation sUAS well, what do you mean, Rachel,
- 17:02Speaker 4: I'll explain. If you're a member of Congress, depending on
- 17:05Speaker 4: the committees you sit on. You may have security clearance,
- 17:08Speaker 4: You may know more or less about the inner workings
- 17:12Speaker 4: of many different things, from infrastructure to aerospace, to defense,
- 17:17Speaker 4: to healthcare to so many things. Right, and when you
- 17:22Speaker 4: have that knowledge and that experience and the friendships that
- 17:27Speaker 4: you make on Capitol Hill, you become very valuable in
- 17:30Speaker 4: the eyes of companies who say, man, I'd like to
- 17:32Speaker 4: hire this guy when he's done being a congressman. Because
- 17:35Speaker 4: once you pass that whatever amount of time, a year
- 17:38Speaker 4: or whatever it is, that you can't immediately become a lobbyist.
- 17:42Speaker 4: Excuse me, who do you think is the most effective lobbyist?
- 17:46Speaker 9: Right?
- 17:47Speaker 4: Of course, former members of Congress makes all the sense
- 17:50Speaker 4: in the world because they have all the relationships, they
- 17:52Speaker 4: have all the knowledge to know how where the bodies
- 17:56Speaker 4: are buried, etc. So it makes a lot of sense.
- 17:59Speaker 4: And this makes members of Congress very very sought after.
- 18:04Speaker 4: For those who don't, they go into the practice of law. Again,
- 18:08Speaker 4: but they have so many areas of expertise, so they
- 18:12Speaker 4: can specialize in certain areas. Or if you have of
- 18:14Speaker 4: counsel to a number of firms, that it pushes the
- 18:17Speaker 4: firms pedigree up a little bit. Saying I've got former
- 18:20Speaker 4: Congressman so and so, and this is why a lot
- 18:24Speaker 4: of people run for Congress and they say, you know,
- 18:25Speaker 4: and I'll go. I'll do my time, and then when
- 18:27Speaker 4: I'm done, my stock goes up. However, it's also true
- 18:33Speaker 4: that they have to raise money to get re elected
- 18:35Speaker 4: every two years. It's not like being the Senator. So
- 18:37Speaker 4: you're constantly, always on the campaign trail. And it's not
- 18:40Speaker 4: for the faint of heart. I can tell you right now.
- 18:43Speaker 4: I've been asked to run for Congress a number of times,
- 18:45Speaker 4: and I think I've said no every single time because
- 18:49Speaker 4: I don't think I would like this job. To me,
- 18:51Speaker 4: it doesn't sound right. I have to not live in
- 18:54Speaker 4: my house, right, So if I'm not going to be home,
- 18:57Speaker 4: guess where I want to be.
- 18:58Speaker 5: You got it?
- 18:59Speaker 4: Miami or portter Y. I don't want to be in
- 19:01Speaker 4: the swamp in Washington, d C. I mean, it's nice,
- 19:04Speaker 4: it's you know, especially during April and the cherry blossoms
- 19:07Speaker 4: come out, but outside of that, I don't want to
- 19:09Speaker 4: be there. I'll go if I have to go, but
- 19:13Speaker 4: these guys have to go there, then they go back
- 19:15Speaker 4: to their home district. It's endless Dinners it's endless phone calls,
- 19:19Speaker 4: it's endless reading. That reading part I could probably handle,
- 19:23Speaker 4: But I don't like being on the phone that much
- 19:25Speaker 4: unless it's what callers on the radio, right, So I think,
- 19:28Speaker 4: you know, for me, it's not something I would jump
- 19:30Speaker 4: at the opportunity to do, especially not for one hundred
- 19:33Speaker 4: and seventy four thousand dollars a year. Because while that
- 19:36Speaker 4: sounds like a good salary, and it is, I think
- 19:40Speaker 4: you can make a salary like that in other places.
- 19:43Speaker 4: Can you make it as easily? Well, that depends, right,
- 19:45Speaker 4: It depends on how you view that job. If you
- 19:47Speaker 4: view it as something where you're kind of sitting back
- 19:49Speaker 4: and relying on your aids to do all the reading
- 19:51Speaker 4: and all the writing and all the correspondence, and you're
- 19:54Speaker 4: just doing all the politicking, then maybe in some congressmen
- 19:58Speaker 4: may in fact do that. However, I think to be
- 20:02Speaker 4: effective in Congress, you have to be able to have
- 20:05Speaker 4: the relationships to influence the balance of power, right, you
- 20:09Speaker 4: have to politic you have to be able to really
- 20:12Speaker 4: do the job. And in order to do that, you
- 20:14Speaker 4: got to be in the game. You got to be there.
- 20:16Speaker 4: So anyway, these lawmakers are resigning from Congress. According to
- 20:21Speaker 4: Daily Caller, at a record rate, forty members that's ten
- 20:24Speaker 4: percent of Congress roughly are saying no thanks, I'm not
- 20:28Speaker 4: going to run. In twenty twenty six. That means we're
- 20:30Speaker 4: going to have a bunch of new freshmen coming in.
- 20:33Speaker 4: Now more lawmakers are expected to actually call it quits
- 20:36Speaker 4: in the coming weeks. Some members are returning home to
- 20:38Speaker 4: discuss reelection plans over the Christmas holiday. Now, of course,
- 20:41Speaker 4: there's a lot of things going on behind the scenes
- 20:43Speaker 4: here right The most famous I'm not running for reelection
- 20:47Speaker 4: that we just had was Marjorie Taylor Green and we
- 20:49Speaker 4: just did that a couple of days ago on the show.
- 20:52Speaker 5: So excuse me. So what does this amount to?
- 20:57Speaker 4: I think what it amounts to is some people are saying, look,
- 21:01Speaker 4: I played chicken with a trumpito and I don't want
- 21:04Speaker 4: to have to deal with a primary challenge from Trump.
- 21:06Speaker 4: Others are saying the exact opposite. They're saying, what, you
- 21:09Speaker 4: know what, I was lockstock and barrel with Trump and
- 21:12Speaker 4: the Republicans, and now the district is turning a little bluer.
- 21:16Speaker 4: I don't think I'm going to have the support if
- 21:17Speaker 4: I run, I might lose I don't want to lose,
- 21:19Speaker 4: I might as well just not run for reelection and
- 21:21Speaker 4: go ahead. And now I don't think that's the case
- 21:22Speaker 4: for many, But I think for most people they're like,
- 21:25Speaker 4: you know what, this is just too hard.
- 21:27Speaker 5: It's too hard.
- 21:28Speaker 4: And if they think, you know, even if it's a miscalculation,
- 21:31Speaker 4: if they think that history will repeat itself and that
- 21:35Speaker 4: we will, in fact, because we have a Republican governor president,
- 21:40Speaker 4: that we will get a Democrat legislature in Congress, then
- 21:46Speaker 4: they don't want to be lame ducks.
- 21:48Speaker 5: They don't want to be in the minority. I get
- 21:50Speaker 5: that too, right.
- 21:50Speaker 4: So everybody's making their own political calculations here as to
- 21:54Speaker 4: what is going to be. And it's going to open
- 21:57Speaker 4: up the door for a bunch of new people to
- 21:59Speaker 4: run in a midterm. So they're not gonna be running
- 22:02Speaker 4: with Trump. They won't have the coattails of the president.
- 22:06Speaker 4: And I am curious here because one thing they that
- 22:10Speaker 4: they will get if they're solid candidates and they're running
- 22:13Speaker 4: in solid districts, they will get the support of the President.
- 22:17Speaker 4: And I don't know if you guys remember, but when
- 22:19Speaker 4: Trump really wants to go in, he goes in we're
- 22:22Speaker 4: talking about rallies, we're talking about all that. So I think,
- 22:27Speaker 4: especially if he feels like his back is against the wall,
- 22:29Speaker 4: he's gonna need these people. So we're gonna see what
- 22:32Speaker 4: happens and how that plays out. I don't think we're
- 22:35Speaker 4: gonna see a repeat of this year where we didn't
- 22:37Speaker 4: see Trump in New Jersey. We did not see him
- 22:39Speaker 4: at least I didn't see him much in Virginia or
- 22:44Speaker 4: New York City at all, other than you know, some
- 22:47Speaker 4: comments he made on TV. He was kind of hands
- 22:48Speaker 4: off on most of the stuff except for his commentary.
- 22:52Speaker 4: I think if Trumpito decides to get in the race,
- 22:55Speaker 4: he typically fares very well with his endorsements. The endorsements
- 22:58Speaker 4: that are kind of tacit where he's kind of like, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 23:00Speaker 4: I'm endorsing him. Yeah, go ahead, throw my picture on there.
- 23:03Speaker 4: I think those don't fare as well. So let's see
- 23:07Speaker 4: what happens. But Republicans happen to be leading Democrats in
- 23:12Speaker 4: these retirement announcements. You got twenty three of the forty
- 23:16Speaker 4: being Republicans to seventeen, according to some information that's coming
- 23:20Speaker 4: from the website down Ballot Now. In past elections, the
- 23:24Speaker 4: party control of the White House tends to see retirement
- 23:28Speaker 4: spike in the lead up to midterms. It's not that uncommon,
- 23:31Speaker 4: it's just this many is a little bit uncommon.
- 23:34Speaker 5: Now.
- 23:34Speaker 4: Redistricting decisions in Texas and California and the potential of
- 23:37Speaker 4: redrawing congressional maps in Florida and Virginia could spur some
- 23:41Speaker 4: more retirements in the days and weeks to come. You
- 23:44Speaker 4: got Republican Marjorie Taylor Green from Georgia Mark Green of
- 23:49Speaker 4: Tennessee both saying they'd rather not serve out their full term.
- 23:54Speaker 4: Now you've got good news for Republicans that the majority
- 23:57Speaker 4: of Republican retirements so far are limited to very safe
- 24:01Speaker 4: red seats. So that means that you might have the President,
- 24:07Speaker 4: the White House, or others of influence people in the
- 24:09Speaker 4: GOP and the party establishment saying hey, listen, you're nearing retirement.
- 24:15Speaker 4: You've indicated you may not want to run again. This
- 24:19Speaker 4: is the time to get out because your seat is safe.
- 24:21Speaker 4: We will put the effort, the money and Trumpito, the rallies,
- 24:25Speaker 4: you name it, will do a soft handoff so that
- 24:27Speaker 4: we'll keep this in control and we don't lose, and
- 24:30Speaker 4: will mitigate any laws, so I think that that's likely
- 24:33Speaker 4: the case. For Nebraska Congressman Don Bacon, who was a
- 24:38Speaker 4: vocal critic of Trump, his battleground seat is likely going
- 24:44Speaker 4: to be the only one that's going to flip to
- 24:46Speaker 4: Democrats because he was a critic of Trump. So other
- 24:50Speaker 4: than that, I think the rest of them are pretty safe,
- 24:52Speaker 4: and you will see those type of soft handoffs unless
- 24:55Speaker 4: there's a major primary, then it'll change anyway. A majority
- 25:00Speaker 4: of the Republicans leaving Congress are running for a different office,
- 25:04Speaker 4: including senator, governor, or state attorney general. So it's not
- 25:06Speaker 4: like they're just getting out of politics in general, kind
- 25:09Speaker 4: of like Marjorie Taylor Green. Now let me see others
- 25:14Speaker 4: that are leaving for other office. At least Stephanic who's
- 25:17Speaker 4: going to be running for governor in New York, Nancy
- 25:21Speaker 4: Mace who's also leaving Congress.
- 25:25Speaker 5: I didn't know that. I'm just reading that right now.
- 25:28Speaker 4: Chip Roy of Texas, who I think is going to
- 25:31Speaker 4: be running as well for a state wide office. You've
- 25:35Speaker 4: got four Texas Republicans, let's see Morgan Littoral, Jody Errington,
- 25:40Speaker 4: Troy Nells, and Michael McCall. They're all calling it quits
- 25:45Speaker 4: in twenty twenty six. They don't want to seek reelection.
- 25:48Speaker 4: Their retirements are all notable since all four members are
- 25:51Speaker 4: relatively young and we're not threatened with serious primary challenges. Right,
- 25:55Speaker 4: You've got Littoral fifty years old, Jody Errington fifty three
- 25:58Speaker 4: years old, Troy Nell's fifty seven years old, and Michael
- 26:03Speaker 4: McCall at sixty three.
- 26:06Speaker 5: So let's see where they go, right and keep a
- 26:10Speaker 5: trend on that.
- 26:11Speaker 4: Nels's retirement announcement drew attention due to his immediate endorsement
- 26:15Speaker 4: of his twin brother to succeed him in Congress. The
- 26:18Speaker 4: three term lawmakers a staunch supporter of Trump.
- 26:20Speaker 5: Yeah, sure is. I've had him on before. Good guy,
- 26:22Speaker 5: and this is a interesting thing.
- 26:28Speaker 4: Like I said, the soft handoff. Here he's handing it
- 26:30Speaker 4: off to his twin brother. And listen to the way
- 26:35Speaker 4: he did the endoor. I don't have the audio, but
- 26:36Speaker 4: I got the transcript. I've got this guy. He's a
- 26:40Speaker 4: good looking guy. Looks a lot like me, Nells said Wednesday,
- 26:44Speaker 4: referencing his twin brother, Trevor Nells, who jumped into the
- 26:48Speaker 4: race to succeed him eight days before the filing deadline closed.
- 26:53Speaker 5: Look at that. That's going to be cool to see
- 26:56Speaker 5: that happen.
- 26:56Speaker 4: If it happens, right, I don't know if it'll be
- 26:58Speaker 4: a first in history, but the first I remember, at
- 27:00Speaker 4: least in my lifetime, of a twin taking over for
- 27:03Speaker 4: the other twin in Congress. Then on the Democrat side,
- 27:07Speaker 4: you've got let's see here again, I'm getting this information
- 27:10Speaker 4: here from the Daily Caller. You've got excuse me, senior
- 27:15Speaker 4: Democrat lawmakers announcing that they're not going in the reelection direction.
- 27:20Speaker 5: Former House Speaker Pelosi. We knew that.
- 27:22Speaker 4: One Congresswoman Jan Schakowski from Illinois, she's eighty one years old.
- 27:28Speaker 4: Bonnie Watson Coleman of New Jersey's eighty Wow. I met
- 27:31Speaker 4: her years ago. Nidia of Alaska seventy two. Wow, thank god,
- 27:35Speaker 4: she was like AOC for the last thirty years. Now
- 27:38Speaker 4: she's seventy two. Jerry Nadler seventy eight, also not running
- 27:43Speaker 4: for reelection.
- 27:43Speaker 5: That's great. These are pretty radical.
- 27:46Speaker 4: People that again I'm getting excited now, But likely they
- 27:50Speaker 4: will be replaced by the Zoron Mamdani's and aocs of today,
- 27:56Speaker 4: because I don't see Republicans winning these seats in these
- 28:00Speaker 4: very deep blue districts in New York City. Former Pelosi
- 28:03Speaker 4: deputies like Stenny Hoyer of Maryland is eighty six, he's out.
- 28:08Speaker 4: Jim Cliburn of South Carolina. Neither of them have discussed
- 28:13Speaker 4: their reelection plans, but they are eighty six and eighty
- 28:16Speaker 4: five years old, respectively, so all eyes on them again.
- 28:21Speaker 4: Back on the Republican side, some senior members have filed
- 28:24Speaker 4: to run for reelection during the mid term. Got How
- 28:26Speaker 4: Rogers eighty seven years old running as a Republican in Kentucky.
- 28:30Speaker 5: Good for him.
- 28:31Speaker 4: John Carter eighty four years old running as a Republican
- 28:34Speaker 4: in Texas, God bless him. They're not cutting and running,
- 28:37Speaker 4: let me see. And Trump endorsed the latter Texas Congressman
- 28:41Speaker 4: John Carter, who is a former judge, Saint Judge Carter
- 28:44Speaker 4: has my complete and total endorsement for reelection. He will
- 28:48Speaker 4: never let you down. And Trump posted that on truth
- 28:51Speaker 4: Social on Thursday. So very interesting to see the little
- 28:55Speaker 4: shakeup going on. But like I was saying before, but
- 28:57Speaker 4: my brother, whenever these things happen, when people say we're
- 29:00Speaker 4: not running for reelection, he immediately calls this stepping down, right,
- 29:04Speaker 4: And this is some sort of quanon deep state read
- 29:08Speaker 4: between the lines where I'm supposed to believe that some
- 29:10Speaker 4: of these people are actually going to jail, but they're
- 29:12Speaker 4: going to jail secretly for their crimes. So they say,
- 29:15Speaker 4: I'm not running for reelection. Wink wink, nod nod. Air
- 29:18Speaker 4: quotes Bunny Ers and that that somehow equates to people
- 29:22Speaker 4: going to jail. And I think to myself, Martin Luther
- 29:25Speaker 4: King famously said, justice delayed is justice denied. How about
- 29:29Speaker 4: justice obscured, justice hidden from the eyes of your accusers.
- 29:34Speaker 4: That's not justice at all. Keep it luck right here on,
- 29:36Speaker 4: Rich Valdez.
- 29:38Speaker 3: This is America, This is America.
- 29:43Speaker 5: The forty fifth President Donald Trump thinks it's an honor
- 29:47Speaker 5: to speak with Rich Valdez.
- 29:49Speaker 6: Oh, very good.
- 29:53Speaker 3: The honor is all yours.
- 29:57Speaker 5: Conservative talk with a dash of sofrito.
- 30:00Speaker 6: Now here's Rich Valdez.
- 30:03Speaker 4: All right, I mean he goes, welcome back, and we're
- 30:05Speaker 4: going to continue our conversation plenty to discuss tonight again
- 30:08Speaker 4: in the second hour. We've got counselwoman Vicki Palladino joining
- 30:11Speaker 4: us in just about twenty five or thirty minutes or so,
- 30:14Speaker 4: we'll get into that. Plus we've got a couple of
- 30:18Speaker 4: things I want to jump into because there's been a
- 30:22Speaker 4: bunch of talk over the weekend Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Green
- 30:26Speaker 4: doing her sixty minutes sit down interviews. She was widely
- 30:29Speaker 4: criticized for that on the social media. And we will
- 30:32Speaker 4: get into some of those clips. I've got a few
- 30:34Speaker 4: of them that I want to play for you, But
- 30:35Speaker 4: before we do that in a subsequent segment, I want
- 30:38Speaker 4: to talk about right now some of what went down
- 30:41Speaker 4: in the news with Joy Reid. Joy Reid was on
- 30:44Speaker 4: her podcast just before the weekend saying that this nation
- 30:47Speaker 4: was founded by killers and leeches.
- 30:50Speaker 10: Listen to this, So you know, this nation was founded
- 30:53Speaker 10: by killers who slaughtered ninety percent of the indigenous people,
- 31:00Speaker 10: leeches who glombed off of the indigenous, who taught them
- 31:04Speaker 10: how to survive in the wilderness, and then murdered them
- 31:08Speaker 10: as their things, and then took all their land. And
- 31:11Speaker 10: you want to talk about entitlement, They felt entitled to
- 31:13Speaker 10: own other people and they didn't even want to pay
- 31:15Speaker 10: taxes on it, so they decided to have a whole
- 31:17Speaker 10: war with Britain.
- 31:20Speaker 5: Wow.
- 31:21Speaker 4: So anyway, tell us how you really feel a joy
- 31:22Speaker 4: reading now? Listen she's entitled to feel that way. And
- 31:26Speaker 4: I'm sure there's a lot of people listening to that saying,
- 31:28Speaker 4: you know what, she's right, where's the lie in that?
- 31:33Speaker 4: And I think it's not that there's a lie in
- 31:35Speaker 4: that per se.
- 31:36Speaker 8: Right.
- 31:36Speaker 4: I'm not saying that some of the people who started
- 31:38Speaker 4: this country didn't kill people. I just don't think that
- 31:41Speaker 4: we could call them killers, right. I don't believe that
- 31:44Speaker 4: the people that were fighting for their liberty against the
- 31:47Speaker 4: British crown and working with and against at times the
- 31:51Speaker 4: Indians the Native Americans are leeches. I think this is
- 31:57Speaker 4: an entirely negative view of how the thing went. And
- 31:59Speaker 4: talking about being entitled to own people, This wasn't something
- 32:02Speaker 4: that they started. I think it's well proven that the
- 32:05Speaker 4: slave trade coming out of Africa was started by the Africans.
- 32:09Speaker 4: They were selling their own people. So these people here
- 32:13Speaker 4: on this side were customers. That's not to absolve them
- 32:17Speaker 4: of anything, but I have to say, we're the only
- 32:20Speaker 4: country on the whole planet that fought a war over
- 32:22Speaker 4: to stuff and we won, and we don't have slavery today. Now,
- 32:26Speaker 4: slavery is illegal unless it's sanctioned by Joe A. L.
- 32:29Speaker 4: Baboso Biden right, because he's the one that opened up
- 32:33Speaker 4: the border to allow for the sex slaves and the
- 32:35Speaker 4: child labor and all that stuff to continue happening on
- 32:38Speaker 4: his watch. But in reality it's illegal. And for joy
- 32:43Speaker 4: Read to just take this posture, I think it's just disingenuous, right.
- 32:47Speaker 4: I think people who look at her as an authority
- 32:49Speaker 4: is a person of influence. And I don't know how
- 32:51Speaker 4: many people that is, but I'm sure there are people.
- 32:53Speaker 4: And when they look at her and they hear that,
- 32:55Speaker 4: they go, yeah, yeah, they're shaking their head because now
- 32:56Speaker 4: they're angry. This is how communists work.
- 33:00Speaker 5: I don't do that.
- 33:02Speaker 4: I'm never trying that hard to get you to believe
- 33:05Speaker 4: what I'm saying or to agree with me. I tell
- 33:08Speaker 4: you what I think, I tell you why I think it,
- 33:10Speaker 4: and I'll tell you why I disagree with her.
- 33:12Speaker 5: And this is what I'm doing. You'll never hear her say,
- 33:15Speaker 5: oh you know. Conservative commentator Rich veld Does said on
- 33:18Speaker 5: his show Blah Blah, blah and Blah. He said that this.
- 33:21Speaker 4: Country was started by people that were fighting against the
- 33:25Speaker 4: British crown, fighting for liberty. He said that they were
- 33:28Speaker 4: here working with the Indians at times why we have Thanksgiving.
- 33:31Speaker 4: She would never ever give a plug to me right
- 33:35Speaker 4: to show you what the people on the other side
- 33:37Speaker 4: are saying. She gives you one side of the story,
- 33:40Speaker 4: the side that she wants you to hear. And that's
- 33:42Speaker 4: the grand difference here. This dialogue is open. I'm happy
- 33:47Speaker 4: to talk with her, and I'm happy to play her
- 33:49Speaker 4: audio clips so that you can hear them and I
- 33:51Speaker 4: can give you my reaction to them, because sadly, this
- 33:56Speaker 4: is I think where we go wrong.
- 33:58Speaker 5: This is where we go wrong as a society.
- 34:00Speaker 4: Where we have no heterodoxy, where we have no point
- 34:03Speaker 4: in counterpoint, where we don't have any actual discussion or dialogue.
- 34:06Speaker 4: And this is bad for the national discourse, it's bad
- 34:09Speaker 4: for the body politic, it's bad in general. And speaking
- 34:15Speaker 4: of Joe Biden and Barack Obama, prior to him, these
- 34:19Speaker 4: guys that in my opinion, had policies that were very
- 34:22Speaker 4: detrimental to the country. One of the former Obama people
- 34:26Speaker 4: who was an official over at the DEA, the Drug
- 34:30Speaker 4: Enforcement Administration, well he was charged just today. It looks
- 34:34Speaker 4: like with agreeing to launder millions of dollars for who
- 34:38Speaker 4: the Mexican drug cartel, which is now known as a
- 34:43Speaker 4: foreign terrorist organization NARCO terrorists. Paul Campbell, who previously served
- 34:48Speaker 4: as a high ranking DEA official in the Obama administration,
- 34:52Speaker 4: is accused along with a friend, of agreeing to launder
- 34:55Speaker 4: millions of dollars for the cartel Hariikon Nueba HENACIONG cja G,
- 35:01Speaker 4: one of Mexico's largest drug cartels. Campo, who served as
- 35:05Speaker 4: the Deputy Chief of Financial Operations at the DEA under Obama,
- 35:10Speaker 4: is accused alongside Robert Sensei in an unsealed fifteen page indictment,
- 35:14Speaker 4: of working to launder twelve million dollars to CJNNG. That's
- 35:19Speaker 4: the cartel which controls huge swats of the drug trade
- 35:22Speaker 4: throughout the United States and is also involved in humans
- 35:25Speaker 4: smuggling at the US Mexico border. Look at that, Ain't
- 35:29Speaker 4: that something? After President Donald Trump was elected in his
- 35:33Speaker 4: first term in twenty sixteen, Campo was among many federal
- 35:36Speaker 4: employees who left their posts. According to federal prosecutors, Campo
- 35:40Speaker 4: and Senci started meeting with a confidential source posing as
- 35:44Speaker 4: a member of CJNG back in twenty twenty four. In
- 35:49Speaker 4: later meetings, prosecutors alleged to Campo and Senci agreed to
- 35:52Speaker 4: launder twelve million dollars of CJNG narcotics. According to the
- 35:57Speaker 4: news release that was put out, laundering seven hundred and
- 36:02Speaker 4: fifty thousand dollars by converting cash into cryptocurrency, provided a
- 36:06Speaker 4: payment for approximately two hundred and twenty kilograms of cocaine
- 36:10Speaker 4: on the understanding that the payment would trigger the distribution
- 36:13Speaker 4: and sale of narcotics worth approximately five million dollars, for
- 36:17Speaker 4: which Campo and Senci would directly receive a portion of
- 36:21Speaker 4: the narcotics proceeds as profit, and also receiving a further
- 36:28Speaker 4: commission upon laundering of the balance of the narcotics proceeds. Wow,
- 36:33Speaker 4: sounds like they're throwing the book at these guys now.
- 36:36Speaker 4: The most shocking indictment here alleges that Campo and Sensei
- 36:39Speaker 4: began advising the confidential source on pre procuring drones and
- 36:45Speaker 4: weaponry so that the cartel could carry out its drug
- 36:49Speaker 4: trafficking and human smuggling operations using state of the art
- 36:52Speaker 4: military weapons like AR fifteen. I don't think AR fifteens
- 36:56Speaker 4: are military weapons, but semi autumn refels and M four carbines,
- 37:02Speaker 4: as well as M sixteen rifles, grenade launchers, and rocket
- 37:05Speaker 4: propelled grenades. Well, those definitely are a little bit more
- 37:09Speaker 4: on the military side, but not the air fifteen. In
- 37:12Speaker 4: one conversation, the confidential source told Campo that the Halisco
- 37:18Speaker 4: Cartel put explosives on the drones so they can just
- 37:23Speaker 4: send it over there and boom. In a similar conversation,
- 37:27Speaker 4: the confidential source asked how much explosive material the drones
- 37:30Speaker 4: could carry, to which Senci allegedly responded that the drones
- 37:34Speaker 4: could carry six kilograms, or enough to blow up a
- 37:37Speaker 4: whole fing.
- 37:38Speaker 5: I don't know what to say. Quote.
- 37:42Speaker 4: Campbo, who is sixty one years old from Virginia, and Senci,
- 37:45Speaker 4: who is seventy five years old from Florida, are each
- 37:48Speaker 4: charged with one count of conspiring to commit narco terrorism,
- 37:52Speaker 4: one count of conspiring to distribute and possess with intent
- 37:56Speaker 4: to distribute cocaine, one count of conspiring to ed material
- 38:00Speaker 4: support and resources to the cartel, the Halisco Cartel a
- 38:05Speaker 4: designated foreign terrorist organization, and one count of conspiring to
- 38:09Speaker 4: commit money laundering. Both Campbo and Senci face life in
- 38:13Speaker 4: prison if convicted of all charges.
- 38:17Speaker 5: Wow, how's that now?
- 38:21Speaker 4: I'm just waiting for the second shoe to drop, where
- 38:25Speaker 4: the next headline says one of these guys say, yep,
- 38:28Speaker 4: people in the administration knew exactly what was going on.
- 38:31Speaker 4: I don't know if that's gonna happen or not, but
- 38:33Speaker 4: it would be great if it did, because then we
- 38:34Speaker 4: would know that it wasn't just shameless, idiotic policymaking from
- 38:43Speaker 4: Joe Biden in particular, but more of a willingness kind
- 38:50Speaker 4: of the government working hand in glove with cartels to
- 38:52Speaker 4: facilitate this, which is truly my suspicion, and I think
- 38:56Speaker 4: this is just the beginning, just the tip of the iceberg.
- 39:00Speaker 4: Even if this is the end, the end, all be all,
- 39:03Speaker 4: that this chief of financial operations at the DEA during
- 39:06Speaker 4: the Obama years is now a drug dealer himself, laundering
- 39:09Speaker 4: money for the cartels. Man, this is the type of
- 39:12Speaker 4: stuff that movies are made out of, and that's real life.
- 39:16Speaker 4: So shame on him, and kudos to the men and
- 39:19Speaker 4: women in federal law enforcement that got this thing done. Man,
- 39:23Speaker 4: that's some good news. Anyway, There's some other stuff I
- 39:25Speaker 4: want to get into.
- 39:26Speaker 5: Tom Homan.
- 39:27Speaker 4: Tom Homan talking about these kids that have been rescued
- 39:32Speaker 4: sixty two thousand kids have been rescued. I think this
- 39:36Speaker 4: is fantastic news. Let me see if I can pull
- 39:39Speaker 4: this up. Can we get to Tom Homan cut all right,
- 39:41Speaker 4: go ahead, play it?
- 39:42Speaker 11: Half a million children or smuggling in this country or
- 39:45Speaker 11: Joe Biden? They released some done let of sponsors. They
- 39:48Speaker 11: lost track of three hundred thousand. President Trump committed on
- 39:51Speaker 11: day one that we will do everything we can to
- 39:54Speaker 11: find every one of these children. We know many are
- 39:56Speaker 11: in sex trafficking, many are in forced labor, many are
- 39:59Speaker 11: being abused. I look at the numbers every day. On Friday,
- 40:02Speaker 11: I looked at the numbers. There's over sixty two thousand
- 40:06Speaker 11: children found by the Trump administration, children that weren't even
- 40:11Speaker 11: being looked for and Biden administration. President Trump saved over
- 40:15Speaker 11: sixty two thousand children's lives. Some of these children and
- 40:19Speaker 11: sex trafficking, we found them. Some were in forced labor,
- 40:21Speaker 11: some were being mistreated. I can't even discuss some of
- 40:26Speaker 11: the mistreatment we found out about. President Trump again proves
- 40:30Speaker 11: what he's the greatest president in my lifetime. Over sixty
- 40:33Speaker 11: two thousand children rescued by President Trump again, children that
- 40:38Speaker 11: were ignored and weren't being looked for under President Biden.
- 40:43Speaker 4: This is remarkable news, right, It was just thirteen thousand
- 40:47Speaker 4: the last time I heard a movement on this.
- 40:50Speaker 5: This is a big deal, and.
- 40:53Speaker 4: It shows you how important and how serious issues are
- 40:57Speaker 4: with immigration that we have so many kids that have
- 41:01Speaker 4: gone unaccompanied. I don't know if you heard the podcast
- 41:05Speaker 4: at the radio show a couple of months ago when
- 41:06Speaker 4: we did a story about the hotline. It might have
- 41:10Speaker 4: been over the summer where the woman was giving congressional
- 41:13Speaker 4: testimony and she's like, yeah, we had a one hundred
- 41:17Speaker 4: number if the kids, you know, who felt like they
- 41:19Speaker 4: were threatened or anything like that, that they could call.
- 41:21Speaker 4: What turned out it was not only an unmanned number.
- 41:24Speaker 4: It turns out that there was also something like fifty
- 41:27Speaker 4: thousand voice messages and nobody was answering these calls. How
- 41:30Speaker 4: in the world is that responsible? How in the world
- 41:32Speaker 4: is that a thing? But yep, it's actually a thing.
- 41:36Speaker 4: It's a sad thing, but it's a thing. So again,
- 41:38Speaker 4: sixty two thousand migrant kids have been rescued by the
- 41:42Speaker 4: Trump administration. Again, these are serious things, forced labor, sex trafficking,
- 41:49Speaker 4: These are kids like eleven twelve, that type of kid
- 41:54Speaker 4: sometimes younger. Over half a million kids are smuggled into
- 41:59Speaker 4: this country during the Biden administration, is what Tom Holman
- 42:04Speaker 4: said on Fox and Friends yesterday morning, Sunday morning. They
- 42:08Speaker 4: lost track of three hundred thousand kids in the Biden administration,
- 42:12Speaker 4: meaning they came here. They don't know if they were
- 42:13Speaker 4: really with the parents or they came here unaccompanied, and
- 42:16Speaker 4: they were lost. They were told to come back right
- 42:20Speaker 4: and with a court date, and then they got lost
- 42:23Speaker 4: in the shuffle. They don't have a real address, they
- 42:25Speaker 4: don't know where they're staying, they don't know, you know,
- 42:28Speaker 4: how to actually get in touch with this child. I mean,
- 42:33Speaker 4: this is sad when you hear Tom Homan, the Borders
- 42:35Speaker 4: are saying, we know many of them are in sex trafficking,
- 42:38Speaker 4: many of them are in forced labor, many are being abused.
- 42:42Speaker 4: And the only reason I believe this to be true
- 42:45Speaker 4: is because how many times have I heard this stuff
- 42:51Speaker 4: on the on radio, the TV, the news, whatever. And
- 42:54Speaker 4: you hear about a kid that's working in a factory
- 42:56Speaker 4: in some overnight sweep and they get eleven year old,
- 42:59Speaker 4: twelve year old, fourteen year old kids there, usually the
- 43:01Speaker 4: forced labor's boys, because they use the girls for other stuff,
- 43:05Speaker 4: worse stuff, and I bring it up all the time.
- 43:10Speaker 4: But I remember I was doing a radio show story
- 43:14Speaker 4: like that might have been last year. The kid got
- 43:17Speaker 4: his hands stuck in a mechanical chicken separator, so it
- 43:21Speaker 4: separated his hand and they turned the machine off and
- 43:25Speaker 4: his hand was stuck in there, and I think the
- 43:27Speaker 4: whole hand was mutilated. But first thing that went through
- 43:30Speaker 4: my head was why on earth is a miner in anybody,
- 43:34Speaker 4: but mainly a miner working in a chicken plant at
- 43:38Speaker 4: that hour. And obviously I put the two and two
- 43:43Speaker 4: together and I said, oh, this kid's an illegal alien.
- 43:45Speaker 4: He's probably trafficked here, working off his debt to the cartel,
- 43:49Speaker 4: working as a forced labor. Somebody's probably getting a piece
- 43:52Speaker 4: of his wages. And I had a producer do some
- 43:58Speaker 4: searching around because he told me in my ear through
- 44:02Speaker 4: the IFB he said, well, we don't know that they
- 44:04Speaker 4: were in illegal alien. I said, that's a right. I
- 44:05Speaker 4: will speculate that before the end of the show or
- 44:08Speaker 4: before the end of that hour. Boom voila. The kid
- 44:14Speaker 4: was an illegal alien. He was an unaccompanied miner. And
- 44:17Speaker 4: this is who happens. This is what happens to these kids, right,
- 44:20Speaker 4: this is who it happens to, is what I'm trying
- 44:22Speaker 4: to say. Obviously, your kids are at home of sleep
- 44:25Speaker 4: with you. My kids are, you know, one's living away
- 44:31Speaker 4: outside of her college that she graduated from near where
- 44:33Speaker 4: she lives now and where she works now. And my
- 44:35Speaker 4: other kid lives with me, and that's that. So children
- 44:41Speaker 4: that are working in the middle of the night that
- 44:43Speaker 4: are twelve, thirteen, fourteen years old, guess what, they're not
- 44:49Speaker 4: here with their parents. They're probably their parents are probably
- 44:52Speaker 4: worried somewhere back home. So anyway, I said all a
- 44:56Speaker 4: lot to say this. Kudos to the Trump administration for
- 44:59Speaker 4: doing what's right right, just doing what's right in the
- 45:02Speaker 4: eyes of humanity, just fixing a problem that needs fixing.
- 45:05Speaker 4: I know there's gonna be critics out there. They're gonna say, listen, Rich,
- 45:07Speaker 4: you're such a softy. You don't understand. They just throw
- 45:10Speaker 4: this stuff out there because they know you guys eat
- 45:12Speaker 4: it up. The QAnon people. You talk about saving the kids,
- 45:14Speaker 4: and people go crazy. Let me tell you something. Anybody
- 45:17Speaker 4: who doesn't go crazy for saving and rescuing children that
- 45:20Speaker 4: have been stolen or being trafficked for sex or forced
- 45:23Speaker 4: labor or anything else. If you don't go crazy over
- 45:26Speaker 4: an issue like that, there's something wrong with you.
- 45:29Speaker 5: Let that sink in. I'm Valdez. I'm coming right back.
- 45:32Speaker 3: This is America, This is America. He's got the best
- 45:41Speaker 3: head of hair and podcasting. This is America with Rich
- 45:45Speaker 3: Valdeniz all.
- 45:46Speaker 5: Right, I mean he goes welcome back.
- 45:48Speaker 4: We continue, of course, checking the comments on the social
- 45:51Speaker 4: media for your thoughts, your calls, your reactions, and everything
- 45:54Speaker 4: that you guys want to share with me. And we're
- 45:57Speaker 4: gonna get into a couple of other stories tonight. As
- 45:59Speaker 4: I met, this's plenty to discuss. I got a whole
- 46:02Speaker 4: thing on the hit Parato over here, not the least
- 46:05Speaker 4: of which was this story here where'd it go? Oh yeah,
- 46:09Speaker 4: we'll stand in immigration for a while, because there was
- 46:11Speaker 4: a lot of immigration news listen to this. When I
- 46:15Speaker 4: started doing the research for this this the number was
- 46:19Speaker 4: this one eight hundred criminal migrants are going to be
- 46:22Speaker 4: released despite deportation holds from ICE. So that's just under
- 46:28Speaker 4: two thousand. By the time we got our hands on
- 46:31Speaker 4: the audio, that number jumped drastically. It's wild to see
- 46:36Speaker 4: exactly what's going on, But there is a lot happening here.
- 46:39Speaker 4: Listen to this Fox News alert from Haley Mcananny.
- 46:42Speaker 12: This is a Fox News alert. Listen to this shocking development.
- 46:47Speaker 12: Forty seven criminals were released from jails in New York
- 46:50Speaker 12: even though they had active ICE detainers. These released criminals,
- 46:54Speaker 12: which immigration authorities were requesting custody of, included people linked
- 46:58Speaker 12: to at least twenty nine homicides. That's according to the
- 47:02Speaker 12: Department of Homeland Security. What is going on in New York?
- 47:06Speaker 5: What is going on in New York?
- 47:07Speaker 4: Well, she brings on Claudia Tenny, congresswoman from New York,
- 47:11Speaker 4: where I've interviewed several times, who's a terrific congresswoman, and
- 47:15Speaker 4: she breaks it down, explaining exactly what's going on. And
- 47:18Speaker 4: guess what, we can't blame this on the madman, Mam Danny,
- 47:23Speaker 4: not yet, Zorn Mombani hasn't even taken office yet, and
- 47:26Speaker 4: this is going on.
- 47:27Speaker 5: Check this out.
- 47:28Speaker 13: Yeah, this is a sanctuary state, as you know, still
- 47:31Speaker 13: is a sanctuary state run by the Democrats completely even
- 47:34Speaker 13: the governor faces a vetoproof majority in the legislature. And
- 47:36Speaker 13: now we're going to end up having a pro sanctuary
- 47:40Speaker 13: mayor coming in the first of January. But yeah, there
- 47:43Speaker 13: are thousands, almost seven thousand people with these advanced criminal records,
- 47:48Speaker 13: like you know, murder, you said, you said, homicide, rape, extortion,
- 47:53Speaker 13: you name it. Just about every crime, child, sex, crimes
- 47:57Speaker 13: that are led into our state every single year this
- 48:00Speaker 13: last year. And this is all done. Letitia James, our
- 48:03Speaker 13: attorney general, was alerted. She doesn't care. She even goes
- 48:07Speaker 13: after and is trying to prosecute any of the local
- 48:10Speaker 13: governments who want to cooperate with what is called the
- 48:12Speaker 13: two to eighty seven G program. That program allows local
- 48:16Speaker 13: police to coordinate with ICE if we have dangerous criminal
- 48:19Speaker 13: aliens within the confines of a county or a city.
- 48:22Speaker 13: She is interfering with that. She's actually prosecuting my home
- 48:25Speaker 13: sheriff for actually cooperating. And I'm my district in upstate
- 48:29Speaker 13: New York, New York twenty four. My entire northern border
- 48:32Speaker 13: is the Canadian border, and so.
- 48:35Speaker 4: They're prosecuting the sheriff, right. The sheriff is trying to
- 48:42Speaker 4: do the right thing. And you've got the Attorney General
- 48:45Speaker 4: of the State of New York, Letitia James, conducting lawfair
- 48:49Speaker 4: against the sheriff. In Congressoman and Tenne's district. This is wild,
- 48:54Speaker 4: but she goes on, go ahead, play the tape.
- 48:56Speaker 13: And we have had almost ninety percent of the people
- 48:59Speaker 13: on the foreign teary watch list under Joe Biden were
- 49:02Speaker 13: coming in across the northern border. So it's a very
- 49:04Speaker 13: dangerous place and a very easy place for safe haven,
- 49:07Speaker 13: especially with a sanctuary state like New York.
- 49:10Speaker 5: So they used the lawfair over and over and over.
- 49:13Speaker 5: This is what they do.
- 49:14Speaker 4: It's lawfair, lawfair, and more lawfair, and they do it
- 49:18Speaker 4: to their own if they have to. When it comes
- 49:20Speaker 4: to immigration, they wanted to cover up everything. Henry Quaar,
- 49:23Speaker 4: Democrat from Texas. He says that the Biden doj tried
- 49:28Speaker 4: to entrap him and bribe him. Right, How's that he
- 49:33Speaker 4: recently got pardoned by Trump because they caught him up
- 49:36Speaker 4: in this thing. But during this week's broadcast of The
- 49:38Speaker 4: Fox Sunday Morning with Maria Bartiromo, Congressman Henry Quaar discussed
- 49:45Speaker 4: his presidential pardon and the alleged crimes that were associated
- 49:48Speaker 4: with it. Quaar claimed that the Biden Department of Justice
- 49:52Speaker 4: had set up a sting operation to entrap him.
- 49:54Speaker 5: How about that? Check this out.
- 50:01Speaker 7: Tell me specifically, who tried to bribe you? You mean
- 50:04Speaker 7: Biden's DOJ tried to bribe you, Yes, they did.
- 50:09Speaker 14: You know, we got all the testimony, the three H two's,
- 50:13Speaker 14: this thing operation. They set up a false a false company,
- 50:18Speaker 14: a false account.
- 50:20Speaker 6: They took out money.
- 50:21Speaker 5: We saw all this.
- 50:22Speaker 14: They took out the money and they said this money
- 50:25Speaker 14: was to bribe me. They try to use this money.
- 50:30Speaker 14: They talked to my DC staff. My DC staff told them, no,
- 50:34Speaker 14: there was nothing there. So they actually returned the money
- 50:38Speaker 14: back to the account because they couldn't bribe me. So
- 50:41Speaker 14: the Biden administration they tried to and trap me and
- 50:46Speaker 14: try to bribe me, and that failed. And this is
- 50:49Speaker 14: very significant because one more thing. Everything came in from
- 50:53Speaker 14: the DJ in d C. Everything came from the DOC
- 50:58Speaker 14: office there. The local law that is the one in
- 51:01Speaker 14: Houston never got enough. And from my sources, they did
- 51:05Speaker 14: not get involved because they felt there was not a
- 51:08Speaker 14: case and they said we're not going to get involved.
- 51:10Speaker 14: In Houston office that we're not going to get involved.
- 51:12Speaker 14: It's all the DOJ people in Washington, d C. There's
- 51:16Speaker 14: a lot more. And I have talked to Jim Jordan
- 51:19Speaker 14: and I've asked Jim Jordan, I want to sit down
- 51:22Speaker 14: with y'all because I think you all need to investigate
- 51:24Speaker 14: those prosecutors and you need to investigate their supervisors also.
- 51:31Speaker 4: So Quaar has consistently denied any wrongdoing, and they only
- 51:35Speaker 4: went after him because he was the first one out
- 51:37Speaker 4: there saying in the South Texas area, Hey, listen, we
- 51:40Speaker 4: got a problem here. This is a problem. We have
- 51:44Speaker 4: to close the border. Yes, the border is wide open. Yes,
- 51:46Speaker 4: the cartails are running rampant around here. So what did
- 51:50Speaker 4: the Biden people do? They set him up. They tried
- 51:53Speaker 4: to frame him, to set him up so he could
- 51:55Speaker 4: go down for a crime that he didn't commit.
- 51:58Speaker 5: That's called law fair.
- 52:00Speaker 4: This is the type of criminality that we see going on,
- 52:02Speaker 4: and they probably get the inspiration from the cartels that
- 52:05Speaker 4: are working hand in glove, kind of like puppeting Joe Biden,
- 52:09Speaker 4: because in my opinion, they were totally in control. And
- 52:12Speaker 4: I'm glad that President Trump has now labeled them as
- 52:15Speaker 4: narco terrorist foreign terrorist organization's ftos so that they can
- 52:19Speaker 4: use the military. That's the only way you're going to
- 52:21Speaker 4: stem the tide of what's going on. When you could
- 52:23Speaker 4: see that they had Biden officials that were involved in this.
- 52:26Speaker 4: We just talked about that, right, those two guys, and
- 52:32Speaker 4: are those the only two guys?
- 52:33Speaker 5: Of course not. It goes well beyond that. This is
- 52:36Speaker 5: the problem. This is how deep it is.
- 52:38Speaker 4: When people talk about the deep state, that's what they're
- 52:41Speaker 4: talking about. It's not just a bunch of politicians that
- 52:44Speaker 4: are out to get you. It's about people that are
- 52:46Speaker 4: turning a blind eye to crime, and then others that
- 52:48Speaker 4: are putting their hand out while your eyes are closed.
- 52:52Speaker 4: They've got their handout and they're saying, sure, I'll launder
- 52:54Speaker 4: twelve million dollars. Sure I'll go ahead and do this.
- 52:56Speaker 4: Sure I'll lock up this guy, Henry Quaar. Sometimes it's
- 52:59Speaker 4: willing this because of the money that you know is
- 53:03Speaker 4: coming in. It's lucrative for them. Sometimes it's threat, all right,
- 53:07Speaker 4: the cartels get to these people, they get to their families,
- 53:10Speaker 4: they know what buttons to push me. They say, hey,
- 53:11Speaker 4: look you got to do this, and if you don't
- 53:13Speaker 4: do this, we're going to do this. Whatever the case is,
- 53:16Speaker 4: you've got to push back because sadly, this is the
- 53:20Speaker 4: outcome of that.
- 53:20Speaker 5: This is what happens.
- 53:22Speaker 4: You start ruining a good congressman again, how good could
- 53:25Speaker 4: he be a Democrat? I'm kidding, but obviously he's trying
- 53:28Speaker 4: to do the right thing here, and they threw him
- 53:31Speaker 4: against the wall and under the bus. I mean, this
- 53:34Speaker 4: is horrible and this is how it works, and if
- 53:37Speaker 4: you don't stop that, you end up with all sorts
- 53:40Speaker 4: of chaos like you have in Honduras. I'll end on
- 53:45Speaker 4: this one. This is a story coming out of bright part.
- 53:50Speaker 4: The defeated socialists from Honduras. Oh, selling the alarm. I mean,
- 53:54Speaker 4: it's just time to wrap up this hour. The defeated
- 53:58Speaker 4: socialists from Honduras are accusing Trump of rigging the election.
- 54:06Speaker 5: Their election.
- 54:07Speaker 4: Trump is rigging their election in Honduras because he said
- 54:13Speaker 4: that the call for protests were too serious for them
- 54:19Speaker 4: to deal with and it would annull the results. The
- 54:22Speaker 4: guy's name is ari xy Mankata. I guess that's Rishikada,
- 54:28Speaker 4: the candidate of Hondura's their ruling party, it's called libret
- 54:33Speaker 4: a socialist party. On Sunday called for protests against it's
- 54:36Speaker 4: yet to be defined results and accused President Trump of
- 54:39Speaker 4: allegedly coercing the nation's recent election. Now, I don't know
- 54:43Speaker 4: about you. Trump has said all sorts of things about
- 54:46Speaker 4: people in the American media, about American elections, about all
- 54:51Speaker 4: sorts of things.
- 54:52Speaker 5: It was rigged, folks. Now they're saying what Trump said. However,
- 54:56Speaker 5: they're doing.
- 54:56Speaker 4: It with a little twist, a socialist twist, a communist twist, Marxist, Leninist,
- 55:01Speaker 4: Castroite type of twist, because they're blaming America. They're saying, oh,
- 55:07Speaker 4: it was the Americans and their capitalism and their coercion
- 55:12Speaker 4: and their imperialism that is trying to control our election.
- 55:16Speaker 4: Now that may be true in some countries at certain times.
- 55:18Speaker 4: I don't think it's true right now. In Honduras, I
- 55:20Speaker 4: don't think we have an American candidate. Now, we might
- 55:23Speaker 4: have our thumb on the scale a little bit right,
- 55:25Speaker 4: like all good spy agencies do in funding the opposition
- 55:29Speaker 4: party and trying to create conditions in other countries that
- 55:33Speaker 4: are favorable, and that's what they do to us vis
- 55:36Speaker 4: a the the Chinese infiltration of the Democrat Party, and
- 55:39Speaker 4: you've got people in the Democrats, and quite frankly, it's
- 55:42Speaker 4: some Republicans that are out there going, oh, look, we
- 55:45Speaker 4: shouldn't worry about this, We shouldn't be so harsh on China.
- 55:47Speaker 4: We shouldn't cancel TikTok. We shouldn't do this right a
- 55:50Speaker 4: lot of people, and originally they wanted to make sure
- 55:55Speaker 4: that TikTok was untouched. President Trump stepped in and said, look,
- 55:57Speaker 4: the only way this thing continues is if the service
- 56:00Speaker 4: in the United States and we get an American buyer,
- 56:02Speaker 4: and they did. But had it not been for that,
- 56:05Speaker 4: I think we would have lost TikTok a long time ago.
- 56:08Speaker 4: And by the way, I'm still not on TikTok, but
- 56:09Speaker 4: i am on all of the social media at rich
- 56:11Speaker 4: Faldesk with an ask at rich Faldesk. Now, this is
- 56:15Speaker 4: an interesting story. I'm just gonna give you a little
- 56:16Speaker 4: bit more. A quote from the article leave It It
- 56:19Speaker 4: does not recognize the elections held under the interference and
- 56:22Speaker 4: coercion of Donald Trump and the allied oligarchy that attacked
- 56:25Speaker 4: the people with an electoral an electoral coup. That's what
- 56:30Speaker 4: Moncatta said last night in the press conference, reading from
- 56:32Speaker 4: an official party statement in which leave It denounced Trump's
- 56:35Speaker 4: foreign interference. So now Trump is the foreign interference guy
- 56:40Speaker 4: in Honduras, not bouquet Lee, their neighbor, not anybody else.
- 56:44Speaker 5: Trump.
- 56:46Speaker 4: This is what they've done in communism, forever, blaming the
- 56:48Speaker 4: American capitalist pigs, the imperialists.
- 56:51Speaker 5: They don't like us.
- 56:52Speaker 4: We are the existence of America is their opportunity to
- 56:57Speaker 4: just say there's something bad happening now. For the past week,
- 57:01Speaker 4: Honduras has been under tense electoral uncertainty. After their election
- 57:06Speaker 4: on November thirtieth, The National Electoral Council CNE hasn't finished
- 57:13Speaker 4: counting all the votes yet, it's been eight nine days.
- 57:16Speaker 4: The electoral authority has attributed the delays to technical problems
- 57:20Speaker 4: quote unquote allegedly experienced by the service provider hired for
- 57:25Speaker 4: the vote tally and the transmission platform. That sounds eerily
- 57:28Speaker 4: familiar to what the Democrats and the Biden people were saying. Anyway,
- 57:34Speaker 4: the most recent preliminary results reported by the local outlets
- 57:37Speaker 4: over the weekend indicate, excuse me, indicate. As of Sunday,
- 57:41Speaker 4: conservative politician and Trump backed candidate Nazri as Fura is
- 57:46Speaker 4: winning the race by a razor thin zero point seven
- 57:49Speaker 4: percentage points of a margin against the Liberal Party candidate
- 57:53Speaker 4: and former Vice president Salvador Nasala. You know, for Hondurans,
- 57:58Speaker 4: they have interesting names as Fura and Nosralla doesn't sound
- 58:03Speaker 4: very Honduran to me, But what do I know?
- 58:05Speaker 5: Now?
- 58:05Speaker 4: Rich Shechi Mankata, who represented the current Socialist government of
- 58:09Speaker 4: President Scio Mara Castro, remains in third place with less
- 58:13Speaker 4: than twenty percent of the votes, essentially leaving her out
- 58:16Speaker 4: of a path towards victory regardless of whether ASA or
- 58:19Speaker 4: in Nosralla end up winning the election. Either way, she's
- 58:22Speaker 4: out so interesting stuff here, And this is why I
- 58:27Speaker 4: try to give you both sides of the story so
- 58:28Speaker 4: that you see exactly what's going on. Right, I could
- 58:30Speaker 4: see how if you're not paying attention, you might think, oh, man,
- 58:36Speaker 4: this guy is endorsed by Trump, or then Trump is
- 58:38Speaker 4: interfering in the election. I mean, you could say that
- 58:41Speaker 4: to the degree that Trump endorsed the candidate, But do
- 58:44Speaker 4: they really think that Trump did something to their voting
- 58:47Speaker 4: machines or that we hacked their election?
- 58:49Speaker 5: One way or another?
- 58:49Speaker 4: Is Hondura's that consequential? Shoot, we're getting socialists elected right
- 58:54Speaker 4: here in the United States. How could we possibly possibly
- 59:00Speaker 4: possibly be worried about socialists getting elected somewhere else?
- 59:04Speaker 5: Anyway? That alarm means it's time for me to pause.
- 59:07Speaker 4: I'm coming right back our interview with Councilwoman Vicki Palladino
- 59:11Speaker 4: and so much more.
- 59:12Speaker 5: Keep it locked right here. I'm Rich Valdez, Amica.
- 59:19Speaker 3: This is America. He's brown, he's bald, and he's breaking
- 59:23Speaker 3: it down.
- 59:24Speaker 5: Oh he's so has some what's his day? Rich Valdez?
- 59:32Speaker 3: All right, he goes.
- 59:33Speaker 5: Welcome back.
- 59:33Speaker 4: It's Rich Valdez and I want you to listen to
- 59:36Speaker 4: this clip of audio I want to play for our guest.
- 59:38Speaker 4: Council member Vicki Palladino is joining us and council member.
- 59:42Speaker 5: Listen to this clip of audio.
- 59:43Speaker 4: It is from Fox five News Antoine Lewis and the
- 59:47Speaker 4: anchor team reporting on this car fire.
- 59:51Speaker 5: Right.
- 59:51Speaker 4: It was a meetup of cars, things went crazy. The
- 59:54Speaker 4: guy was beaten very badly, and well they explain it,
- 59:57Speaker 4: but it's just crazy to this is happening in your
- 1:00:01Speaker 4: neck of the woods. When I first saw this, I
- 1:00:03Speaker 4: thought there's no way this could be happening in Vicki's district,
- 1:00:07Speaker 4: and then I saw it actually was in your district.
- 1:00:09Speaker 5: So I know that you're not going to allow that
- 1:00:11Speaker 5: to happen. Now, I want you to listen to this.
- 1:00:13Speaker 5: Check this out.
- 1:00:14Speaker 7: An illegal car meet up in Queens turning violent, with
- 1:00:16Speaker 7: a suspect now facing charges for allegedly attacking a homeowner
- 1:00:19Speaker 7: and his wife.
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: Ry Foxfis Antwo Lewis joins us now in studio The
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: Closer look at how things got so out of hand Antoon.
- 1:00:25Speaker 15: Seven, Teresa Official Cities meetups have been plaguing in this
- 1:00:27Speaker 15: particular neighborhood in Queens for at least four years. They
- 1:00:31Speaker 15: are baits for social media posts, and this one escalated
- 1:00:34Speaker 15: from chaos to violence and city leaders are now cracking down.
- 1:00:37Speaker 15: Take a look at the cell phone video capturing this
- 1:00:39Speaker 15: violent car meet up in Marble, Queens last month. Officials
- 1:00:42Speaker 15: say that about fifty cars were involved in drag racing,
- 1:00:45Speaker 15: doughnut spins, setting off fireworks and at some point, as
- 1:00:48Speaker 15: you can see right there the carb resident a security
- 1:00:51Speaker 15: guard was actually set on fire. Things further escalated when
- 1:00:54Speaker 15: a couple was attacked after confronting several members of the
- 1:00:56Speaker 15: group that had gathered on their lawn as the shenanigans
- 1:00:59Speaker 15: played out. That couple received very serious injuries as you
- 1:01:02Speaker 15: can see right there. We spoke with the husband shortly
- 1:01:04Speaker 15: after this happened, and today Queen's District Attorney Melinda cas
- 1:01:08Speaker 15: announcing the arrest of at least one in connection with
- 1:01:11Speaker 15: this attack on that husband and wife, and Kat says
- 1:01:13Speaker 15: that they are looking for the others.
- 1:01:15Speaker 4: Now. I know, council Member Palladino, that you spoke with
- 1:01:20Speaker 4: Police Commissioner Jessica Tish, And my question to you is
- 1:01:25Speaker 4: did she give you any indication that she's going to
- 1:01:28Speaker 4: be sticking on with Zora Mumbani long term? I know
- 1:01:31Speaker 4: she's indicated that she is going to stay around. Talk
- 1:01:34Speaker 4: to us what's going on? Did your conversation get that deep?
- 1:01:37Speaker 4: Council Member Vicki Palladino, are you encouraged in your conversation
- 1:01:40Speaker 4: with Police Commissioner Tish that she's willing to stay on
- 1:01:43Speaker 4: with Zoron Mumdani?
- 1:01:45Speaker 7: And it is encouraging that she is going to stay.
- 1:01:48Speaker 7: But the question is this, how long is she going
- 1:01:52Speaker 7: to stay? How long with the team that he put
- 1:01:55Speaker 7: together right now? The transitional team is a disgrace. Anybody
- 1:02:01Speaker 7: any other names you wear of any of them? Okay?
- 1:02:06Speaker 7: The top guy Alex Patali. He authored the book The
- 1:02:11Speaker 7: End of Policing.
- 1:02:12Speaker 16: I Okay.
- 1:02:16Speaker 17: Boy.
- 1:02:18Speaker 7: Next guy up is Lombamba Bendell his activism is controversial.
- 1:02:24Speaker 7: He's organized campaign for free the Black Liberation Army members,
- 1:02:30Speaker 7: some of them have been convicted of murdering police officers.
- 1:02:34Speaker 7: The next one is just as bad. And the list
- 1:02:38Speaker 7: goes on and on, and he's got one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight,
- 1:02:48Speaker 7: eight people heading up his public Safety Transition team. And
- 1:02:52Speaker 7: the top three are the absolute worst of the worst.
- 1:02:57Speaker 7: So how long is just going to be able to stay?
- 1:03:00Speaker 7: That remains to be seen. We got to wait this out.
- 1:03:04Speaker 7: I mean, the writing's on the wall. We know what's coming.
- 1:03:07Speaker 7: He made it clear before you know, you know, when
- 1:03:10Speaker 7: he stood at that podium when he took his victory,
- 1:03:13Speaker 7: he gave his victory speech, declared war on Trump, declared
- 1:03:17Speaker 7: war on just about everybody that stands against the DSA.
- 1:03:22Speaker 7: So we got to wait and see how this is
- 1:03:23Speaker 7: going to go. I don't know.
- 1:03:25Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:03:26Speaker 4: Now you spoke of Queen's District Attorney Melinda Katz. She's
- 1:03:29Speaker 4: been pretty aggressive on fighting crime. I have a clip
- 1:03:32Speaker 4: of her talking about the arrest in this illegal meetup,
- 1:03:35Speaker 4: and I want to get your reaction.
- 1:03:36Speaker 18: Listen to yes, whether we catch the others or not,
- 1:03:39Speaker 18: this individual, this defendant, still is being prosecuted for gang assault,
- 1:03:44Speaker 18: for the assault that happened, and for the injuries. The
- 1:03:46Speaker 18: massive injury is the serious physical injury that these victims
- 1:03:49Speaker 18: that occurred in these victims. This husband, mister Ferrara, has
- 1:03:53Speaker 18: a broken rib, structured ribs, fractured shoulder, the thyroid was fractured.
- 1:04:00Speaker 15: Authorities took nineteen year old Justin Aguilera of Far Rockaway,
- 1:04:03Speaker 15: Queens into custody Thursday night. They say he took part
- 1:04:06Speaker 15: in the attack on the couple on their lawn. In
- 1:04:08Speaker 15: addition to two Council of Gangle salt, he is also
- 1:04:11Speaker 15: charged with felony.
- 1:04:11Speaker 3: Assault, riot and trespass.
- 1:04:14Speaker 15: New York City Council Member Vicki Palladino helped draw attention
- 1:04:16Speaker 15: to the incident, and today she went back to that
- 1:04:19Speaker 15: intersection where it happened with members of the NYPD and
- 1:04:22Speaker 15: other city agencies. She's calling for speed bumps to be
- 1:04:24Speaker 15: put in place to deter any future violence. The couple
- 1:04:28Speaker 15: that was attacked is expected to survive their injuries. The suspect,
- 1:04:31Speaker 15: Justin Aguilera, is facing twenty five years in prison if convicted.
- 1:04:35Speaker 4: So that's Antoine Lewis from Fox five News, and you
- 1:04:37Speaker 4: heard from Melinda Katz saying that they're going to prosecute
- 1:04:40Speaker 4: this as a felony. We heard from you talking about
- 1:04:42Speaker 4: speed bumps. How is this all fitting together now, Council
- 1:04:45Speaker 4: Member Palladina, She is going.
- 1:04:46Speaker 7: To do everything that she had to make sure that
- 1:04:49Speaker 7: the others are the two others that they got their
- 1:04:53Speaker 7: eye on, are brought in. They're not stopping. They're going
- 1:04:57Speaker 7: to just keep going. And that's a very good thing.
- 1:05:00Speaker 7: And as far as I go with trying to get
- 1:05:03Speaker 7: what I've been trying to get in Malba and in
- 1:05:05Speaker 7: other parts of my district through DOT, it was a
- 1:05:09Speaker 7: simple solution back in the day two years ago, three
- 1:05:13Speaker 7: years ago, when I first went to DOT with problems
- 1:05:17Speaker 7: of speed bumps and certain areas that could be actually
- 1:05:22Speaker 7: blocked off that people cannot come into this enclave known
- 1:05:25Speaker 7: as malbur and I had them boots on the ground
- 1:05:28Speaker 7: on Friday a few days ago, and I'm expecting to
- 1:05:32Speaker 7: hear back from DOT late this week with some sort
- 1:05:36Speaker 7: of plan for where we could strategically place speed bumps,
- 1:05:40Speaker 7: but not just that in the center of this circle,
- 1:05:45Speaker 7: as throughout Malba. You have to know the area to
- 1:05:47Speaker 7: know what I'm really to kind of visualize what I'm saying,
- 1:05:51Speaker 7: an above ground circle whereas they plant flowers, they plant
- 1:05:56Speaker 7: a tree and something could be done so that that's
- 1:06:00Speaker 7: because that's the only real circle left in Malba. The
- 1:06:02Speaker 7: other ones. It's an old, old neighborhood. You're going back
- 1:06:05Speaker 7: fifty sixty, seventy years. They've already had these gardens in
- 1:06:10Speaker 7: the middle of these intercessions where the four corners meet,
- 1:06:14Speaker 7: and I'm looking to get that done as well. I
- 1:06:17Speaker 7: haven't stopped. I will not stop. Everybody knows how I am.
- 1:06:22Speaker 7: And DOT showed up because I called them on Monday morning,
- 1:06:27Speaker 7: the twenty fourth. I told them, you put me off
- 1:06:30Speaker 7: for four years, four years, the last three, the last two.
- 1:06:35Speaker 7: I will not tolerate this any longer. And they were
- 1:06:38Speaker 7: there on Friday. Now they've been there with me in
- 1:06:41Speaker 7: the past. But they said that the area doesn't warrant feedbumps,
- 1:06:46Speaker 7: so it doesn't warrant a traffic light, or it doesn't
- 1:06:49Speaker 7: warrant anything. I put before them, baloney, Yes it does,
- 1:06:53Speaker 7: and yes it did. It took a catastrophe like what
- 1:06:57Speaker 7: we saw happen. It looked like Bay Route happen on
- 1:07:00Speaker 7: that Sunday night, early Sunday morning, I should say, Saturday night.
- 1:07:05Speaker 7: That made them move a little quicker. How quick are
- 1:07:08Speaker 7: they going to move now? And what are they going
- 1:07:10Speaker 7: to show me at the end of this week has
- 1:07:12Speaker 7: yet to be seen. But we're not done. The only
- 1:07:15Speaker 7: problem we've got right now that I could see is
- 1:07:18Speaker 7: that we have an administration changing, which means who's ever
- 1:07:22Speaker 7: in charge?
- 1:07:23Speaker 14: Now?
- 1:07:23Speaker 7: Are commissioners? Are they still going to be around in January?
- 1:07:28Speaker 7: We've got some serious things happening. There's so many wheels
- 1:07:32Speaker 7: turning because we're going through a transition. You know, if
- 1:07:36Speaker 7: this was Adams staying on, I know it was going
- 1:07:40Speaker 7: to be handled properly because it would be a continuation
- 1:07:43Speaker 7: of what I've been working with for four years. But
- 1:07:47Speaker 7: since we're going through this transition and we've got somebody
- 1:07:50Speaker 7: so left of law and order, he doesn't believe in
- 1:07:54Speaker 7: any of this stuff.
- 1:07:55Speaker 4: For how we're going to do, I don't know, folks
- 1:07:58Speaker 4: wrong with the Counselwoman Vicki Palladino joining us and councilwoman
- 1:08:03Speaker 4: you mentioned Mayor Mamdani or mayor elect, I should say,
- 1:08:06Speaker 4: And he's coming in and there's a lot of apprehension
- 1:08:08Speaker 4: about what that administration is going to look like. But
- 1:08:11Speaker 4: there is a a clip that he put out regarding
- 1:08:16Speaker 4: how to avoid ice and ice capture. Oh yeah, that's
- 1:08:20Speaker 4: coming into questions. So we're gonna play that straight ahead. Amigos,
- 1:08:22Speaker 4: We're coming right back. Don't go anywhere. I'm Rich Valdez.
- 1:08:25Speaker 3: This is America. This is America.
- 1:08:36Speaker 14: In glace or primal norodos Bara, Rich Valdez, e s
- 1:08:41Speaker 14: nos America.
- 1:08:43Speaker 4: Awara, All right, amigos, welcome back. It's Rich Valdez. And
- 1:08:48Speaker 4: like I mentioned, Zori Mumdani's coming under fire for telling
- 1:08:55Speaker 4: people to avoid capture from ice. Our guest is Councilwoman
- 1:08:59Speaker 4: Vicki Paladine and council Member Palladino. I have this audio
- 1:09:03Speaker 4: clip of good old Mayor elect Mamdani calling for people
- 1:09:09Speaker 4: to avoid ice capture.
- 1:09:10Speaker 5: I'm going to play it for you. Check this out.
- 1:09:13Speaker 2: Last weekend, ice attempted to raid Canal Street and detain
- 1:09:16Speaker 2: our import. As mayor, I'll protect the rights of every
- 1:09:20Speaker 2: single New Yorker and that includes the more than three
- 1:09:22Speaker 2: million immigrants who call this city in their home.
- 1:09:24Speaker 6: But we can all stand up to ice.
- 1:09:25Speaker 2: If you know your rights, if you encounter ice, these
- 1:09:29Speaker 2: are the things that every New Yorker should know.
- 1:09:31Speaker 6: First.
- 1:09:32Speaker 2: ICE cannot enter into private spaces like your home, school,
- 1:09:35Speaker 2: or private area of your workplace without a judicial warrant
- 1:09:38Speaker 2: signed by a judge.
- 1:09:39Speaker 6: That looks like this.
- 1:09:42Speaker 2: If ICE does not have a judicial warrant signed by
- 1:09:44Speaker 2: a judge, you have the right to say I do
- 1:09:47Speaker 2: not consent to entry, and the right to keep your
- 1:09:49Speaker 2: door closed. Sometimes ICE will show you paperwork that looks
- 1:09:52Speaker 2: like this and tell you that they have the right
- 1:09:56Speaker 2: to arrest.
- 1:09:58Speaker 6: That is false.
- 1:10:00Speaker 2: ICE is legally allowed to lie to you, but you
- 1:10:02Speaker 2: have the right to remain silent. If you're being detained,
- 1:10:04Speaker 2: you may always ask am I free to go repeatedly
- 1:10:07Speaker 2: until I answer you. You are legally allowed to film
- 1:10:09Speaker 2: ICE as long as you do not interfere with an arrest.
- 1:10:12Speaker 2: It is important to remain calm during any interaction with ICE. Formarms,
- 1:10:15Speaker 2: do not impede their investigation. Resist arrest to world one
- 1:10:19Speaker 2: last thing. New York has had a constitutional right to this.
- 1:10:22Speaker 2: When I'm there, we will protect that right. New York
- 1:10:25Speaker 2: will always.
- 1:10:26Speaker 3: Welcome tools, and I will fight each and every day.
- 1:10:29Speaker 2: To protect, support and celebrates use.
- 1:10:32Speaker 4: Okay, people have obviously seen that he's out there telling
- 1:10:36Speaker 4: people just like AOC has done in the past.
- 1:10:39Speaker 7: He took out a whiteboard. He look out a whiteboard,
- 1:10:42Speaker 7: and he proceeded to be the professor, okay, telling people,
- 1:10:46Speaker 7: educating people on how to avoid ice. Now, what do
- 1:10:50Speaker 7: you make of that? First of all, to disgrace he's
- 1:10:53Speaker 7: giving people teaching people's civil disobedience. He is he is
- 1:10:58Speaker 7: absolutely starting a fire that Trump is going to have
- 1:11:02Speaker 7: to come in and put out. So you know that
- 1:11:05Speaker 7: very nice so called press conference that he did with
- 1:11:09Speaker 7: Zo ran Trump. Believe me, I don't believe for one
- 1:11:13Speaker 7: second that they're pals. I don't believe for one second
- 1:11:18Speaker 7: that all of this really went over as well as
- 1:11:21Speaker 7: Trump played his card smart. What Trump did was Trump
- 1:11:25Speaker 7: played three dimensional chess with this kid. And in my opinion,
- 1:11:30Speaker 7: it's only my opinion. I do not could be dead wrong,
- 1:11:32Speaker 7: but I don't think so. What he did was he
- 1:11:35Speaker 7: gave this kid the pat on the back and he said,
- 1:11:37Speaker 7: go ahead, dig your grave. Let's see how far you're
- 1:11:40Speaker 7: going to dig before I have to come in and
- 1:11:42Speaker 7: do my job. He gave the kid the benefit of
- 1:11:45Speaker 7: the doubt, but I believe behind closed doors he told
- 1:11:49Speaker 7: him exactly what was going to be and if he
- 1:11:53Speaker 7: wants to play his games, Zoe Ran, he better be
- 1:11:57Speaker 7: prepared for what's going to happen.
- 1:11:59Speaker 17: Now.
- 1:11:59Speaker 7: A lot of people need to understand something here. You've
- 1:12:02Speaker 7: got a city council that I sit on right. This
- 1:12:06Speaker 7: city council is made up of fifty one members. Eighteen
- 1:12:11Speaker 7: of those members until this past election were part of
- 1:12:15Speaker 7: the Progressive caucus. That's one third. Since this election in November,
- 1:12:20Speaker 7: they gained four more progressives, so now it will be
- 1:12:26Speaker 7: twenty two Progressives in a fifty one body. So anything
- 1:12:32Speaker 7: Zoe Wran wants to do, he's going to get full
- 1:12:35Speaker 7: support from from our body, you know, the city council.
- 1:12:40Speaker 7: I believe that he will come in here trump if
- 1:12:44Speaker 7: need be, and he will do what needs to be done.
- 1:12:48Speaker 7: I don't know this. This is Zo Wran as braving
- 1:12:52Speaker 7: as he was on election night, standing at that podium,
- 1:12:56Speaker 7: equally as daring as he will just recently on the
- 1:13:01Speaker 7: video that he just did teaching people how to avoid ice,
- 1:13:06Speaker 7: how to work in other words, with these forms, to
- 1:13:10Speaker 7: fill out forms the right way. Think about what he's doing.
- 1:13:15Speaker 7: I mean this, but this is who the guy is.
- 1:13:17Speaker 7: And for anybody to think any differently, you're being foolish,
- 1:13:23Speaker 7: but he is. How the vote went. The vote went
- 1:13:26Speaker 7: from Mandani from thirty years old to eighteen years old
- 1:13:31Speaker 7: the majority. And when you look closely at those numbers,
- 1:13:35Speaker 7: and we did, those young people have only lived in
- 1:13:39Speaker 7: the city of New York three years, five years, the
- 1:13:43Speaker 7: most was seven years. So they're not even real New Yorkers.
- 1:13:47Speaker 7: These are kids who are going to school, and he
- 1:13:50Speaker 7: made sure that he got them all registered to vote,
- 1:13:54Speaker 7: and they did. Now you got the DSAY coming in
- 1:13:58Speaker 7: here full steam. You got Blasio's people sitting on his
- 1:14:02Speaker 7: transition team, sitting in his cabinet, and this is not
- 1:14:07Speaker 7: gonna farewell at all. This is not gonna go well
- 1:14:10Speaker 7: for us at all. We've got some serious problems and
- 1:14:14Speaker 7: I really think that he will face the consequences or
- 1:14:20Speaker 7: worse yet, the good people of the City of New
- 1:14:23Speaker 7: York will have to face the consequences because of this, Mayor.
- 1:14:28Speaker 7: I don't think Trump is kidding around. I think he's
- 1:14:31Speaker 7: gonna do what needs to be done. He's testing, He's
- 1:14:35Speaker 7: putting him in a test, and he's testing this kid,
- 1:14:38Speaker 7: and we're gonna see which way he's gonna go. Don't
- 1:14:40Speaker 7: test Trump, don't test Trump, You're gonna lose, you know.
- 1:14:43Speaker 5: Vicky's gonna lose. I agree.
- 1:14:45Speaker 4: I think you hit the nail on the head when
- 1:14:46Speaker 4: you said that he was giving him the benefit of
- 1:14:49Speaker 4: the doubt. And I think a lot of that was
- 1:14:51Speaker 4: I don't know if you recall President Trump inviting Speaker
- 1:14:55Speaker 4: Pelosi and Majority Leader Schumer to the Oval Office for
- 1:14:58Speaker 4: a meeting earlier his first administration, and they blew up
- 1:15:03Speaker 4: and they didn't want to play ball, and he just said, well,
- 1:15:06Speaker 4: that's what we got right. I think he extended the
- 1:15:08Speaker 4: olive branch and he wanted to get it on camera
- 1:15:10Speaker 4: to say, hey, look I did it.
- 1:15:11Speaker 5: I did my job. I showed up.
- 1:15:12Speaker 4: I was polite, I was you know, fair, open, well amicable,
- 1:15:17Speaker 4: and now it's for you guys to mess up.
- 1:15:20Speaker 5: And I think that's what's going to happen.
- 1:15:22Speaker 18: You know.
- 1:15:23Speaker 7: I'll tell you in my position as a council member,
- 1:15:26Speaker 7: I want to meet with Zoe Rammondani. Now he knows
- 1:15:30Speaker 7: Dickie Paladino because he reads my tweets, He follows me,
- 1:15:34Speaker 7: his people follow me on social media. As a matter
- 1:15:37Speaker 7: of fact, I lo me not leave this out, Alex.
- 1:15:43Speaker 7: The tally that I just told you about who wrote
- 1:15:45Speaker 7: the book end up Policing. Yes, he already blocked me
- 1:15:49Speaker 7: on Twitter, so he can't he doesn't read. He blocked me.
- 1:15:54Speaker 7: So this is what we have coming in to this administration.
- 1:15:58Speaker 7: You're going to block an elected official from social media
- 1:16:02Speaker 7: because of what I have to say? Well, isn't that
- 1:16:05Speaker 7: just too bad?
- 1:16:09Speaker 5: Queens? Why would anybody block you?
- 1:16:13Speaker 7: Maybe because I'm onto everybody everything that he's going to do,
- 1:16:16Speaker 7: I mean, even his cleaning up of the he doesn't
- 1:16:19Speaker 7: want to clean up the homeless. Of all his horrible ideas,
- 1:16:24Speaker 7: this this idea is going to be probably the worst
- 1:16:28Speaker 7: idea that he's had yet, because it's going to be
- 1:16:31Speaker 7: the one that we're going to be able to see
- 1:16:33Speaker 7: and touch immediately. For him to leave people out on
- 1:16:37Speaker 7: the street like this in this freezing weather that we're
- 1:16:39Speaker 7: having right now, and not wanting to clean up homeless encampments,
- 1:16:46Speaker 7: think about what this guy is doing. Yeah, it's insane.
- 1:16:49Speaker 7: It doesn't make an ounce of sense. So he's gonna
- 1:16:53Speaker 7: he's gonna fall on his face. Give him three to
- 1:16:55Speaker 7: six months. This isn't gonna pan out well, not at all,
- 1:16:59Speaker 7: not at all. But he does have the support of
- 1:17:01Speaker 7: the council in most cases. And we're gonna see how
- 1:17:05Speaker 7: far everybody wants to go with this before anybody, uh,
- 1:17:09Speaker 7: before anybody does anything about it. My biggest concern, you know,
- 1:17:13Speaker 7: because he talks about the affordability crisis, he talks about
- 1:17:17Speaker 7: the homeless crisis. He talks about he talks about the uh,
- 1:17:22Speaker 7: you know, the affordability. As far as housing goes, I
- 1:17:25Speaker 7: got new cz oh Rand. Nobody's gonna want to live here,
- 1:17:29Speaker 7: But you won't have to worry about housing because people
- 1:17:32Speaker 7: are gonna pick up and move. They're not gonna stay.
- 1:17:36Speaker 7: The day after he won is primary. I cannot tell
- 1:17:39Speaker 7: you how many for sale size went up. I cannot
- 1:17:43Speaker 7: tell you how many people that you know, major players
- 1:17:47Speaker 7: in Wall Street searching for other places to do business.
- 1:17:50Speaker 7: They don't need to do business in New York. They
- 1:17:53Speaker 7: can go elsewhere. So what are you doing? This is
- 1:17:58Speaker 7: communism two positive communism. You're going to have the rich
- 1:18:03Speaker 7: and you're going to have the poor. The poor then's
- 1:18:06Speaker 7: going to feed off of the government dollar and that's it.
- 1:18:11Speaker 7: The middle class, the bottom is going to drop out.
- 1:18:14Speaker 7: Then there's also eminent domaine, eminent domain.
- 1:18:19Speaker 4: This is going to want you mean taking taking properties
- 1:18:22Speaker 4: that become abandoned because people can't rent them.
- 1:18:24Speaker 7: And not even abandoned. He's going to work on it
- 1:18:27Speaker 7: before they even become abandoned, become abandoned.
- 1:18:30Speaker 5: With freezing rents, it's.
- 1:18:33Speaker 7: Almost impossible for people to afford. In New York, we
- 1:18:37Speaker 7: passed something in twenty nineteen called Local War ninety seven.
- 1:18:40Speaker 7: Local War ninety seven is detrimental to any co operal
- 1:18:45Speaker 7: condo owner. And anybody who bought a co operal condo
- 1:18:49Speaker 7: knows that's the most affordable housing in our middle class areas,
- 1:18:55Speaker 7: where you could live in a beautiful two bedroom garden apartment,
- 1:18:58Speaker 7: three bedroom garden of apartment for relatively three hundred thousand
- 1:19:02Speaker 7: dollars and you have your maintenance fees. But because of
- 1:19:06Speaker 7: the green new bill that they passed here called Local
- 1:19:09Speaker 7: Lord ninety seven, doing away with gas and raising the
- 1:19:14Speaker 7: rates of electricity, they've already got hit with their first wave.
- 1:19:18Speaker 7: It was passed in twenty nineteen. It did not go
- 1:19:20Speaker 7: into effect until January of twenty three, I believe it
- 1:19:24Speaker 7: is twenty three or twenty four, and they got hit.
- 1:19:27Speaker 7: And I went out on a trailblazing effort and we
- 1:19:32Speaker 7: we all came together against Local Lord ninety seven. Not
- 1:19:36Speaker 7: the council members, mind you, the people, the civic associations,
- 1:19:41Speaker 7: the community boards, the people who have a right to
- 1:19:45Speaker 7: their voice being heard. And they all voted against it.
- 1:19:50Speaker 7: Two community boards voted in favor of it, out of
- 1:19:53Speaker 7: all of them in the City of New York. And
- 1:19:56Speaker 7: yet there it is. It happened. It's an effect. They
- 1:20:00Speaker 7: some co opts just got hit with a three hundred
- 1:20:04Speaker 7: dollars a month increase in their maintenance. Now, when you
- 1:20:07Speaker 7: talk about a senior citizen who's living on a fixed
- 1:20:11Speaker 7: income and their and their mortgages paid off because they
- 1:20:15Speaker 7: bought their condo twenty five years ago, their maintenance is
- 1:20:19Speaker 7: eleven hundred dollars. Now their maintenance is fifteen sixteen, seventeen
- 1:20:23Speaker 7: hundred dollars a month. They're living on a fixed income.
- 1:20:27Speaker 7: How are they going to do it? But what happens
- 1:20:30Speaker 7: is the co ops and the condos have to take
- 1:20:35Speaker 7: a loan to be able to upgrade. And it's a
- 1:20:37Speaker 7: constant upgrade. It's upgrade. It's waves of upgrades that happened
- 1:20:43Speaker 7: every year to three years. So now seventeen hundred and
- 1:20:48Speaker 7: fifteen hundred is going to go to two thousands. So
- 1:20:51Speaker 7: if you're an older couple and you're only bringing in
- 1:20:55Speaker 7: twenty two hundred between social Security each and you're pension,
- 1:21:01Speaker 7: maybe you're bringing in twenty five d how are you
- 1:21:04Speaker 7: gonna do this? You're screwed. Now you get a young
- 1:21:07Speaker 7: couple they decided to buy a co op or a condo.
- 1:21:11Speaker 7: It cost them three point fifty. Like I said, it's
- 1:21:13Speaker 7: the most affordable form of housing. And now you got that,
- 1:21:18Speaker 7: you got your mortgage, and now you have your maintenance
- 1:21:20Speaker 7: which you purchased or your maintenance was only one thousand
- 1:21:24Speaker 7: dollars a months in addition to your mortgage, which now
- 1:21:27Speaker 7: probably brings you up somewhere around twenty two hundred a month.
- 1:21:31Speaker 7: Tack on that three hundred dollars wave that you just
- 1:21:33Speaker 7: got hit with, and now you're playing with twenty five
- 1:21:36Speaker 7: to twenty eight hundred. How are you going to do this?
- 1:21:40Speaker 7: So the co op board they have to take a
- 1:21:43Speaker 7: loan to upgrade, and now your apartment's got a lean
- 1:21:48Speaker 7: on it. How are you going to sell your apartment
- 1:21:51Speaker 7: with a lean against it?
- 1:21:53Speaker 14: You're not.
- 1:21:55Speaker 7: So what happens the city takes it over.
- 1:22:00Speaker 5: And this is what we saw in Castro's Cuba where
- 1:22:03Speaker 5: they started seizing proby.
- 1:22:04Speaker 7: Exactly what somebody else told me. Castro's Cuba. This is
- 1:22:08Speaker 7: exactly what somebody else told me. And you know what,
- 1:22:11Speaker 7: when I speak to people all the time who have
- 1:22:15Speaker 7: come from Cuba, who have come from Russia, who have
- 1:22:19Speaker 7: come from Poland, they have told me, Vickie, what is wrong?
- 1:22:24Speaker 7: What are they doing? Don't they under? And they live
- 1:22:27Speaker 7: here in New York and they work hard and just
- 1:22:29Speaker 7: to make ends meet. And we left where we came
- 1:22:35Speaker 7: from for here. Now I can tell you I know
- 1:22:38Speaker 7: two young couples from Poland. They're only in there. Well,
- 1:22:41Speaker 7: she's fifty, her husbands in the mid fifties. They came
- 1:22:46Speaker 7: here twenty years ago and Poland, their whole family's there,
- 1:22:52Speaker 7: and they're thinking about moving back to Poland. Then stay
- 1:22:56Speaker 7: here this insanity. I've got people putting out for sale
- 1:23:02Speaker 7: signs and they're going to Long Island, Suffolk County, or
- 1:23:06Speaker 7: they're going up Westchester Way. They're willing to drive an
- 1:23:10Speaker 7: hour to two two hours to get into the city
- 1:23:14Speaker 7: to work all day and drive home rather than live
- 1:23:21Speaker 7: like this. They don't want to do it.
- 1:23:24Speaker 4: Vicki Palladino. Should everybody wave the white flag and give up.
- 1:23:29Speaker 4: Is that what you're saying, Leave New York run away?
- 1:23:32Speaker 7: No, I am begging, Lily. I have to tell you
- 1:23:36Speaker 7: this weekend, I'm lying Christmas streets all over the district
- 1:23:39Speaker 7: right and I'm talking to I'm talking to Vicky.
- 1:23:43Speaker 14: What do we do?
- 1:23:44Speaker 7: I said, please stay put. I'm begging you, stay put.
- 1:23:48Speaker 7: The guy that got bet up on his front lawn
- 1:23:50Speaker 7: in Malbourne says to me, Vick, I've had it with
- 1:23:53Speaker 7: New York. I have my daughter in college. I have
- 1:23:56Speaker 7: my son in high school. As soon as he's done
- 1:23:58Speaker 7: with high school. If the sale sign's going out, please
- 1:24:01Speaker 7: don't do this. I'm begging you, please stay, please stay.
- 1:24:06Speaker 7: And you know what our governor's race is coming up.
- 1:24:09Speaker 19: Rich.
- 1:24:11Speaker 7: We need to take back Albany. We must take back Albany.
- 1:24:17Speaker 5: What does a win at Albany look like in New
- 1:24:20Speaker 5: York City?
- 1:24:21Speaker 7: A big It helps a lot because the power of
- 1:24:25Speaker 7: the pen as you could see with Trump, is so important.
- 1:24:30Speaker 7: Even if she doesn't in the long run, he needs
- 1:24:33Speaker 7: to at least wish You've got to win. If we
- 1:24:38Speaker 7: don't take the Senate, he's got a battle on our hands.
- 1:24:43Speaker 7: But what she could still do with the power of
- 1:24:45Speaker 7: the pen is a lot. She could get a rid
- 1:24:49Speaker 7: of Alvin Brad. He could do away with congestion pricing,
- 1:24:53Speaker 7: he could do away with speed cameras. He could override
- 1:24:57Speaker 7: a lot of things here with our education, property taxes
- 1:25:01Speaker 7: he can't touch. He talks about property taxes, he cannot
- 1:25:05Speaker 7: touch our property taxes that comes from the state of
- 1:25:08Speaker 7: New York. So if the if a Republican takes over
- 1:25:13Speaker 7: the governor's mansion, we've got a chance. I don't know
- 1:25:20Speaker 7: rich in all honesty, and I'm here all of my life.
- 1:25:25Speaker 7: I don't know what will happen if the Republicans do
- 1:25:29Speaker 7: not take the State House. I don't know. That's how
- 1:25:35Speaker 7: important it is.
- 1:25:37Speaker 5: So what do people do? How do they help you?
- 1:25:39Speaker 5: How do they get more involved?
- 1:25:41Speaker 7: Well, what we're doing now is you know a lease
- 1:25:44Speaker 7: is moving about the entire state. You run for governor.
- 1:25:47Speaker 7: It's not an easy task, but I got to tell
- 1:25:50Speaker 7: the people of the city of New York. First of all,
- 1:25:52Speaker 7: anybody out there did look up police and find I
- 1:25:55Speaker 7: don't have hope being in front of me to tell
- 1:25:58Speaker 7: you how to donate. Because even though she's raised a
- 1:26:01Speaker 7: lot of money, he needs even more than that. Because
- 1:26:05Speaker 7: what's behind what's going to be behind Hopel. Now here's
- 1:26:09Speaker 7: the other caveat to all of this. You've seen Hakem
- 1:26:13Speaker 7: Jeffries taken knee to the DSA. We've seen the so
- 1:26:18Speaker 7: called Democratic leadership taken knee to this communist. So they
- 1:26:23Speaker 7: might even decide to primary Hopel because if you remember,
- 1:26:27Speaker 7: he refused to endorse her. When the cameras asked, Doran,
- 1:26:32Speaker 7: will you endorse the Hopel for governor the way she
- 1:26:35Speaker 7: endorsed you for mayor? He didn't answer. I don't have
- 1:26:38Speaker 7: an answer for that yet. It's too soon.
- 1:26:41Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:26:41Speaker 4: All I know is she said no to the train proposal,
- 1:26:44Speaker 4: but yes, keep making your ice videos.
- 1:26:46Speaker 5: So I guess she's compromising with him as well.
- 1:26:49Speaker 7: Yeah, because this what are you afraid of? Here's the deal,
- 1:26:52Speaker 7: here's the deal. Also, if you were a real leader.
- 1:26:58Speaker 7: Now I'm gonna say something about out to the Democrats,
- 1:27:01Speaker 7: because this guy's not a Democrat, he's PSA. If the
- 1:27:05Speaker 7: Democrats had half a mind and a spine and needs
- 1:27:11Speaker 7: that can get locked together and say, you know what,
- 1:27:15Speaker 7: they should have did this even during the primary session.
- 1:27:17Speaker 7: They didn't do this. Who are you?
- 1:27:21Speaker 3: We are?
- 1:27:21Speaker 7: The Democratic pride we are the Democratic Party. You do
- 1:27:26Speaker 7: not represent the Democratic Party. You represent the Democratic Socialist Party.
- 1:27:33Speaker 7: You're not one of us. Why didn't they stand up
- 1:27:36Speaker 7: to him? Why did they take a knee to AOC
- 1:27:40Speaker 7: who can't knit two sentences together and make any sense?
- 1:27:45Speaker 7: Bernie Sanders that other one? And then you got Pocahontis.
- 1:27:50Speaker 7: What the hell is her name? Yeah, huh, okay, you've
- 1:27:55Speaker 7: got these The other guy boham, what's his name?
- 1:27:59Speaker 5: To Jamal Barrow, that's the one who likes to pull
- 1:28:01Speaker 5: the fire alarms. He got put out.
- 1:28:05Speaker 7: So you're telling me you're going to takenknee to these people.
- 1:28:09Speaker 7: You're the Democratic Party of the United States of America,
- 1:28:13Speaker 7: and you have taken a knee to the likes of
- 1:28:16Speaker 7: these people. What is wrong with the Democrats? And that
- 1:28:20Speaker 7: is why, that is why the Democrats were set up.
- 1:28:25Speaker 7: They did not come out in both the way they
- 1:28:27Speaker 7: should have. Oh no, no, no, they did not, No,
- 1:28:31Speaker 7: they did not. Yeah, they'd rather sit it out.
- 1:28:34Speaker 4: Well, I think for so many people, the Democrats are
- 1:28:36Speaker 4: sitting out for the same reason that you're involved in this.
- 1:28:39Speaker 4: And before we go, I want you to tell everybody
- 1:28:41Speaker 4: a little bit about why you were a wife and
- 1:28:44Speaker 4: a mom, living your life golden years. You didn't need
- 1:28:47Speaker 4: to get involved in politics. Your husband has a good business,
- 1:28:50Speaker 4: you have beautiful children. Why did you decide to throw
- 1:28:52Speaker 4: your hat in the ring for State Senate and then
- 1:28:54Speaker 4: for city council and keep doing it? Obviously you're doing well,
- 1:28:57Speaker 4: you keep winning by record breaking numbers. But what was
- 1:29:00Speaker 4: the reason you did it?
- 1:29:01Speaker 7: I did it because I didn't like what was going on.
- 1:29:03Speaker 7: The Blasio was on mayor at the time. I saw
- 1:29:07Speaker 7: what was happening with the State Senate. The Republicans had
- 1:29:10Speaker 7: control of the State Senate until the election of twenty eighteen,
- 1:29:15Speaker 7: pardon me, and that was the election I ran it.
- 1:29:18Speaker 7: I lost. However, when we had that, when we had
- 1:29:24Speaker 7: the State Senate, I said, lose the Senate, lose the state.
- 1:29:29Speaker 7: That was my slogan, because we were only holding on
- 1:29:33Speaker 7: by the whites of our fingernails, and by that I
- 1:29:36Speaker 7: mean two or three seats.
- 1:29:38Speaker 9: That was it.
- 1:29:39Speaker 3: That was it.
- 1:29:40Speaker 7: So the Democrat pushed it into full throttle. It was
- 1:29:45Speaker 7: the blue waves, the year of the Blue Waves in
- 1:29:48Speaker 7: twenty eighteen, and they took it lock stock and smoking barrels.
- 1:29:53Speaker 7: That we lost the State Senate by something like twenty seats. Wow,
- 1:29:58Speaker 7: there's only sixty some odd seats in the state Senate.
- 1:30:04Speaker 7: And at the time when in twenty eighteen when I ran,
- 1:30:07Speaker 7: we had I think it was thirty one seats, so
- 1:30:10Speaker 7: there must be thirty three seats, sixty sixty three seats
- 1:30:14Speaker 7: because I and you know, I ran against Jean Loue.
- 1:30:18Speaker 7: He's a season politician, and at that time there was
- 1:30:23Speaker 7: an independent line, a legit independent line, and Tony Avella,
- 1:30:28Speaker 7: two season politicians. Vicky Palladino got off for kitchen table.
- 1:30:33Speaker 7: I raised a lousy thirty seven thousand dollars. I can't
- 1:30:37Speaker 7: tell you how proud I am of that campaign. I
- 1:30:40Speaker 7: went everywhere in the district, everywhere that I could possibly go,
- 1:30:45Speaker 7: and I beat Tonyavella on the Independent line, and of
- 1:30:48Speaker 7: course John Lewis took a beating, but still, I think
- 1:30:52Speaker 7: over twenty thousand people came out and voted for me,
- 1:30:55Speaker 7: which was pretty good for somebody off a kitchen table.
- 1:30:58Speaker 7: All that did was make me want to do more
- 1:31:01Speaker 7: and more and more, because that race made us a
- 1:31:05Speaker 7: one party state, and that is why we are totally blue,
- 1:31:10Speaker 7: and that is why it is almost it is I
- 1:31:13Speaker 7: won't say almost impossible. It's so difficult for Republican to win.
- 1:31:18Speaker 5: Well, you did it.
- 1:31:19Speaker 4: You did it, and I think that you've got to
- 1:31:21Speaker 4: give yourself a little credit for doing it and hold
- 1:31:24Speaker 4: on to hope that it can be done again.
- 1:31:27Speaker 1: Well.
- 1:31:27Speaker 7: I run a very strong Republican club, the White Sto
- 1:31:30Speaker 7: Republican Club. It's rated top one of the I think,
- 1:31:33Speaker 7: if not the top, the second in the state. And
- 1:31:38Speaker 7: I'm very proud of this club. And people just keep
- 1:31:41Speaker 7: coming in droves and droves anytime I do anything. You know,
- 1:31:45Speaker 7: I've made a lot of very good friends and I
- 1:31:49Speaker 7: look forward to you know, just won the twenty five race,
- 1:31:52Speaker 7: which is for four straight years. Who knows what the
- 1:31:55Speaker 7: future will hold for me down the line, but I
- 1:31:58Speaker 7: surely hope that I'm not done yet. I will say
- 1:32:02Speaker 7: that there's more to do. I'm always up for a fight,
- 1:32:06Speaker 7: should there be one, although you know there has to
- 1:32:08Speaker 7: be one, I don't. I would prefer the easier path,
- 1:32:13Speaker 7: which would be conversations and trying to figure out and
- 1:32:18Speaker 7: fix what's broke. But you have to understand, when you
- 1:32:21Speaker 7: deal with people of this mindset, there is no negotiations. However,
- 1:32:27Speaker 7: the real Democrats, those Blue dog Democrats, the old school
- 1:32:31Speaker 7: Kennedy Democrats. Now they're well in their eighties if not older. Yeah,
- 1:32:37Speaker 7: you need to come out and vote. They need to
- 1:32:39Speaker 7: come out and vote. They're fed up and you're all
- 1:32:43Speaker 7: going to see them vote for a lease now. Also,
- 1:32:47Speaker 7: they you have got in order for at least to win,
- 1:32:51Speaker 7: you must win thirty three percent of New York City
- 1:32:56Speaker 7: because that's how much people. You know, we are very
- 1:33:00Speaker 7: what's the word, I'm looking forward. We have so many
- 1:33:03Speaker 7: people living here as opposed to throughout the state. There's
- 1:33:07Speaker 7: sixty one counties.
- 1:33:09Speaker 5: Oh was that the apportionment?
- 1:33:14Speaker 7: Yes, because of the amount of people here, she's got
- 1:33:18Speaker 7: to win thirty three percent. So anybody who lives in
- 1:33:22Speaker 7: New York City, we need you to vote. We need
- 1:33:27Speaker 7: your support. Democrat, Republican, Independence, I don't care what party
- 1:33:31Speaker 7: you come from. The point is you're not gonna like
- 1:33:34Speaker 7: what's coming. You certainly didn't like what happened in twenty five.
- 1:33:38Speaker 7: It's only going to get worse than twenty six. So
- 1:33:41Speaker 7: we need everybody to get involved. Everybody to understand that
- 1:33:46Speaker 7: she's not a right wing crazy lady Trump lady, Okay,
- 1:33:51Speaker 7: because that's the most that's the thing they're going to
- 1:33:53Speaker 7: play on Yeah, well that's not who she is.
- 1:33:56Speaker 5: Honestly, I think people there's a lot of people that
- 1:33:58Speaker 5: probably would prefer that as to it.
- 1:34:00Speaker 7: Crazy like people are set up, they want to change.
- 1:34:05Speaker 7: This is the this is the time to make the change.
- 1:34:09Speaker 7: The change is coming.
- 1:34:10Speaker 14: I know.
- 1:34:11Speaker 7: You know, people are so tired of hearing people like
- 1:34:14Speaker 7: me say this to them. They're really like, that's the
- 1:34:17Speaker 7: sense thick, you know, shaking their heads now and they
- 1:34:20Speaker 7: listen to this saying, you know how many times have
- 1:34:23Speaker 7: we heard New Yorkers say this? You know, what's the sense?
- 1:34:26Speaker 7: It doesn't matter? And that's what I hear. But it
- 1:34:29Speaker 7: does matter. Please don't give up. It does matter and
- 1:34:34Speaker 7: we can win.
- 1:34:35Speaker 4: Amen, Vicky Palladino. I want to thank you for being here.
- 1:34:38Speaker 4: By the way, the website is at least for governor
- 1:34:40Speaker 4: dot com. And tell everybody your website and how they
- 1:34:43Speaker 4: can follow you.
- 1:34:44Speaker 7: They can follow me at Vicky for NYC dot com.
- 1:34:48Speaker 7: Follow Vicky Paladino for NYC on Twitter. That's my real
- 1:34:54Speaker 7: hardcore Twitter. I would advise that's the meat and the potatoes.
- 1:34:58Speaker 7: You could follow Council Member Vicky Paladino on Facebook and
- 1:35:01Speaker 7: you can follow Vicky Paladino for NYC on Facebook. Both
- 1:35:05Speaker 7: are a little common in Twitter.
- 1:35:07Speaker 4: Outstanding well counsel woman, Vicki Paladine. I want to thank
- 1:35:10Speaker 4: you for being here. Keep keep the fight going, keep
- 1:35:13Speaker 4: that fire in your belly, and God.
- 1:35:15Speaker 7: Speak to you.
- 1:35:15Speaker 5: Thank you man, thank you, do talk to you.
- 1:35:17Speaker 18: So this is.
- 1:35:30Speaker 4: America, all righty by us. Welcome back rich Valdez. Valdez
- 1:36:05Speaker 4: with an ass at Rich Valdez on all of the
- 1:36:07Speaker 4: social media.
- 1:36:08Speaker 5: And I like this one, a little smooth, little mellow
- 1:36:11Speaker 5: right here.
- 1:36:16Speaker 4: All right, anyway, I'm saying I'm going to get into
- 1:36:19Speaker 4: the action now. So Marjorie Taylor Green, Congressman from Georgia
- 1:36:24Speaker 4: that's retiring. She was on Sixty Minutes with Leslie stall
- 1:36:31Speaker 4: And giving an interview, obviously answering all the questions about
- 1:36:34Speaker 4: the back and.
- 1:36:34Speaker 5: Forth with her and El Trampito, El Trumpito calling.
- 1:36:37Speaker 4: Her an ill prepared trader, and her saying lots of
- 1:36:42Speaker 4: things in this interview. And we're going to get to
- 1:36:45Speaker 4: that straight ahead. Actually right now, I think we just
- 1:36:48Speaker 4: got to get those queued up. Can we get those
- 1:36:50Speaker 4: queued UPFA said your productor all right, let's get that done.
- 1:36:54Speaker 4: I want to start with number twelve cut number twelve.
- 1:36:57Speaker 4: The one referencing is green.
- 1:37:02Speaker 5: Yeah, you just play it?
- 1:37:03Speaker 16: Are you maga?
- 1:37:05Speaker 19: I am America First? And that's not the same as mega.
- 1:37:09Speaker 19: Maga is President Trump's phrase, that's his political policies. I
- 1:37:17Speaker 19: call myself America first.
- 1:37:19Speaker 16: But you're not saying you're mago. I'm America first.
- 1:37:24Speaker 4: Yeah, all right, So she wants to make a clear
- 1:37:27Speaker 4: delineation that she is not Mega. Then she goes on
- 1:37:31Speaker 4: to say she will not be anybody's battered wife. Check
- 1:37:34Speaker 4: this one out.
- 1:37:35Speaker 16: Did you surrender? Did Donald Trump run you out of town?
- 1:37:39Speaker 8: No?
- 1:37:40Speaker 16: Not at all.
- 1:37:42Speaker 19: Actually, Leslie, it's more like this is I said in
- 1:37:46Speaker 19: my statement, I will be no one's battered wife, and
- 1:37:49Speaker 19: I'm in it and I won't allow the system to
- 1:37:53Speaker 19: abuse me anymore.
- 1:37:55Speaker 5: All right.
- 1:37:56Speaker 4: So you heard her statement when she made it. The
- 1:37:58Speaker 4: night that she made it, we brought that to you
- 1:38:00Speaker 4: breaking news. And now this is what happened last night
- 1:38:04Speaker 4: on Sunday night, sixty minutes. President Trump, of course demanding
- 1:38:07Speaker 4: an apology after this, saying I want sixty minutes to
- 1:38:11Speaker 4: apologize to me over its misleading Hunter Biden laptop coverage,
- 1:38:15Speaker 4: and he fumed about outgoing Republican Congressoman Marjorie Taylor Green's
- 1:38:19Speaker 4: combat of interview with Leslie Stall, in which she hinted
- 1:38:22Speaker 4: that Republican colleagues mock him behind his back, calling her
- 1:38:26Speaker 4: a trader in an epic truth Social rant that he
- 1:38:28Speaker 4: went on earlier today. The only reason Marjorie Taylor Green,
- 1:38:32Speaker 4: excuse me, in true ed Trumpeto fashion, he gave her
- 1:38:36Speaker 4: a good nickname here. The only reason Marjorie Trader Green,
- 1:38:40Speaker 4: oh hold on. The only reason Marjorie Trader Brown, because
- 1:38:45Speaker 4: Green turns brown under stress went bad is that she
- 1:38:49Speaker 4: was let me see if I could do this in
- 1:38:50Speaker 4: my el Trumpito voice. The only reason that Marjorie Trader Brown,
- 1:38:55Speaker 4: because Green turns brown under stress she went bad is
- 1:38:59Speaker 4: that she was jilted by the President of the United States.
- 1:39:03Speaker 4: Certainly not the first time she's been jilted. And that's
- 1:39:06Speaker 4: what Trump wrote this morning on truth Social after the
- 1:39:11Speaker 4: sixty minutes interview aired. The primetime interview came just weeks
- 1:39:15Speaker 4: after the firebrand Georgia representative This is in the New
- 1:39:18Speaker 4: York Post and one time diehard Trump's supporter, announced that
- 1:39:22Speaker 4: she would be resigning from Congress after breaking with the
- 1:39:25Speaker 4: president on issues like the release of the Jeffrey Epstein
- 1:39:28Speaker 4: files and voicing support for extending the Affordable Care Act subsidies.
- 1:39:36Speaker 4: She also blamed el Trumpito for rhetoric fueling death threats
- 1:39:40Speaker 4: against her and her family.
- 1:39:41Speaker 5: Now that part, I got to say, this is a
- 1:39:42Speaker 5: little bit of a stretch.
- 1:39:43Speaker 4: I understand the logic here, but people are going to
- 1:39:46Speaker 4: criticize people in politics all the time, and you can't
- 1:39:48Speaker 4: really turn her on and say this is because of you.
- 1:39:51Speaker 4: He didn't say anything like go and get her, go
- 1:39:56Speaker 4: and kill her, right, he didn't say anything like that.
- 1:39:58Speaker 4: I guess she's going to say beca because he called
- 1:40:00Speaker 4: her a trader. That this is how, you know, people
- 1:40:03Speaker 4: are automatically supposed to treat traders. But the thing is
- 1:40:06Speaker 4: traders like Bennett Arnold and whatnot. That's how a military
- 1:40:10Speaker 4: tribunal would deal with a military trader, not necessarily a
- 1:40:15Speaker 4: civilian right. And civilians aren't held to the uniform code
- 1:40:18Speaker 4: of military justice. And I think that's widely known anyway,
- 1:40:22Speaker 4: and if it's not, it really should be. Now Green
- 1:40:24Speaker 4: said it would shock people to learn how Republicans talk
- 1:40:27Speaker 4: about the president out of his earshot. Well, I don't
- 1:40:30Speaker 4: think that would be shocking. I think any president, any honestly,
- 1:40:34Speaker 4: any big person period. Right, if you're the CEO of
- 1:40:37Speaker 4: a company, your secretary probably sings your praises all the time.
- 1:40:40Speaker 4: But when she gets home or he gets home and
- 1:40:43Speaker 4: they talk to their spouse, I'm sure they're like, what
- 1:40:45Speaker 4: a jerk? Did you know he did whatever today? Or
- 1:40:47Speaker 4: blah blah blah blah blah blah. I mean, people blow
- 1:40:50Speaker 4: off steam by talkers smack. It's a thing that people do.
- 1:40:53Speaker 4: It wouldn't surprise me anyway. Another quote here from Green,
- 1:40:59Speaker 4: she says, Okay, I want watch many of my colleagues
- 1:41:01Speaker 4: go from making fun of him, making fun of how
- 1:41:03Speaker 4: he talks, making fun of how of me constantly supporting him,
- 1:41:09Speaker 4: to when he won the primary in twenty four they
- 1:41:11Speaker 4: all started saying, excuse my language, leslie kissing his ass
- 1:41:14Speaker 4: and decided to put a maga hat on for the
- 1:41:16Speaker 4: first time. Green also claimed that Republicans bite their tongue
- 1:41:21Speaker 4: when speaking about Trump, even when they disagree with him,
- 1:41:24Speaker 4: because they're terrified of ending up in his crosshairs. Well, listen,
- 1:41:28Speaker 4: if you can't stand the heat, get out the kitchen.
- 1:41:33Speaker 4: I mean, Trump is great at coming up with nicknames.
- 1:41:36Speaker 4: I never would have come up with that one, Marjorie
- 1:41:38Speaker 4: Trader Green, That's this is excellent, right. I mean, he
- 1:41:42Speaker 4: is a master marketer. I always say he's like the
- 1:41:45Speaker 4: first talk radio president. He comes up with the best
- 1:41:47Speaker 4: nicknames to create a foil for his radio show. You know,
- 1:41:50Speaker 4: for a while, I was hoping really intently that he
- 1:41:55Speaker 4: was going to be the one to replace Rush Limbaugh.
- 1:41:57Speaker 4: I think El Tranpito on the radio would be a
- 1:41:59Speaker 4: maze every day. Obviously, you know, he's got way too
- 1:42:03Speaker 4: much on his plate to do something like that. But
- 1:42:05Speaker 4: a brother could dream, anyway, she says, I think they're
- 1:42:08Speaker 4: terrified to step out of line and get a nasty
- 1:42:11Speaker 4: truth social post about them. Listen, if you're gonna be
- 1:42:14Speaker 4: a whist and be afraid of something like that, that's
- 1:42:16Speaker 4: on you, right Listen. If you support the president, you
- 1:42:19Speaker 4: support the president. If you don't support the president, you
- 1:42:21Speaker 4: don't support the president. I'm gonna tell you this. I
- 1:42:25Speaker 4: have supported the president on many, many, many things, and
- 1:42:29Speaker 4: I broke a company with the President on his support
- 1:42:32Speaker 4: for Andrew Cuomo. I wasn't afraid of getting a truth
- 1:42:35Speaker 4: social quote. I'm sure he could say something nasty about
- 1:42:38Speaker 4: me if he wanted to. But I think the President
- 1:42:40Speaker 4: tends to respect people that disagree and they do it
- 1:42:44Speaker 4: wholeheartedly with you know, without being vicious and attacking him.
- 1:42:47Speaker 4: Right now, she's talking about people making fun of him.
- 1:42:50Speaker 4: I don't make fun of the guy. I do an
- 1:42:51Speaker 4: impression because I think and he's one of the I
- 1:42:53Speaker 4: think he might be the most famous person in the world,
- 1:42:56Speaker 4: at least now at this point in time.
- 1:42:58Speaker 5: He definitely is.
- 1:42:59Speaker 4: When you're at the top, people are gonna take shots.
- 1:43:02Speaker 4: That's just how it works. He fights back, that's what
- 1:43:04Speaker 4: he's doing. So I mean, come on, if you're any
- 1:43:07Speaker 4: member of Congress, I mean, Jasmine Crockett's not afraid to
- 1:43:10Speaker 4: talk bad about Trump. AOC's not afraid to take on Trump. Right,
- 1:43:14Speaker 4: I'll hand Omar is always running her mouth. So how
- 1:43:17Speaker 4: are you gonna tell me that the Republicans are afraid
- 1:43:20Speaker 4: to say something about Trump. If you got a problem
- 1:43:22Speaker 4: with the guy, take it up with him. If not,
- 1:43:24Speaker 4: the figure out what you got to do. But to
- 1:43:26Speaker 4: sit here and say you want to say something but
- 1:43:28Speaker 4: you're afraid, that's just cowardice.
- 1:43:31Speaker 5: Come on, or'll be out there. I don't want to
- 1:43:34Speaker 5: hear it.
- 1:43:34Speaker 4: Anyway, and as expected, President Trump fought back with his
- 1:43:38Speaker 4: lengthy post on truth Social.
- 1:43:40Speaker 5: Let me see if I could pull that up so
- 1:43:41Speaker 5: I can read it to you. Oh, I think I
- 1:43:43Speaker 5: got it right here.
- 1:43:43Speaker 4: All right, So I'm looking at the truth Social post here,
- 1:43:47Speaker 4: and I read you at the beginning about being jilted,
- 1:43:49Speaker 4: which is funny.
- 1:43:50Speaker 5: And he goes on too.
- 1:43:51Speaker 4: Much work, not enough time, and her ideas are now
- 1:43:54Speaker 4: really bad. She sort of reminds me of a rotten apple.
- 1:43:57Speaker 4: Marjorie is not America for or Maga, because nobody could
- 1:44:02Speaker 4: have changed her views so fast, and her new views
- 1:44:05Speaker 4: are those of a very dumb person. That was proven
- 1:44:10Speaker 4: last night when washed up Trump hating Sixty Minutes correspondent
- 1:44:15Speaker 4: Leslie Stahl, one who still owes me an apology from
- 1:44:18Speaker 4: when she attacked me on the show with a serious
- 1:44:21Speaker 4: conviction that Hunter Biden's Laptop from Hell was produced by Russia,
- 1:44:25Speaker 4: not Hunter himself, totally proven wrong, interviewed a very poor prepared,
- 1:44:31Speaker 4: poorly prepared trader who, in her confusion, made many really
- 1:44:36Speaker 4: stupid statements. My real problem with the show, however, wasn't
- 1:44:41Speaker 4: the low IQ trader. It was the new ownership of
- 1:44:45Speaker 4: sixty minutes paramount would allow a show like this to air.
- 1:44:49Speaker 5: They are no better than.
- 1:44:50Speaker 4: The old ownership who just paid me millions of dollars
- 1:44:54Speaker 4: for fake reporting about your favorite president. Me since they
- 1:44:59Speaker 4: bought it, signixty minutes has actually gotten worse. Oh well,
- 1:45:03Speaker 4: far worse things can happen. PS I hereby demand a
- 1:45:07Speaker 4: complete and total apology, though far too late to be meaningful,
- 1:45:11Speaker 4: from Leslie stall In sixty minutes for her incorrect, libelous
- 1:45:15Speaker 4: statements about Hunter's laptop. President DJT, Now, I got to
- 1:45:21Speaker 4: work on my Trump impression. Like my buddy Sean Ferrass says,
- 1:45:24Speaker 4: leave it to the professionals, But I try to do
- 1:45:27Speaker 4: it for your amusement, and it helps me to decipher
- 1:45:30Speaker 4: what I'm reading as well. Anyway, that alarm means I
- 1:45:32Speaker 4: gotta start wrapping it up as well. But that's what's
- 1:45:35Speaker 4: going on with Marjorie Taylor Green. Of course, she has
- 1:45:37Speaker 4: doubled down on her critique of Israel, saying she refuses
- 1:45:43Speaker 4: to bow down to people calling her an anti semit
- 1:45:48Speaker 4: I think we have that clip as well.
- 1:45:49Speaker 5: Let's see if we can get that queued up and
- 1:45:53Speaker 5: listen to this.
- 1:45:54Speaker 17: Why did you vote against the anti Semitism Awareness Act.
- 1:46:00Speaker 19: Since I've been a member of Congress, we've had several
- 1:46:03Speaker 19: resolutions that constantly denounce anti Semitism. I've already voted denouncing
- 1:46:11Speaker 19: anti semitism many times before it becomes an exercise that
- 1:46:16Speaker 19: they force on Congress, and I simply got tired of it.
- 1:46:19Speaker 17: Is there no value in having the United States Congress
- 1:46:24Speaker 17: reaffirm the fact that they denounce anti Semitism in the
- 1:46:29Speaker 17: face of a growing issue, a growing problem.
- 1:46:32Speaker 19: We don't have to get on our knees and say
- 1:46:35Speaker 19: it over and over again when we don't already knees. Yes,
- 1:46:39Speaker 19: we do not have to get on our knees.
- 1:46:41Speaker 16: Well, most members of Congress disagree with you.
- 1:46:44Speaker 19: Well, most members of Congress take donations from APAC and
- 1:46:47Speaker 19: I don't.
- 1:46:49Speaker 5: Now.
- 1:46:49Speaker 4: I'm sure that there were a bunch of people that
- 1:46:51Speaker 4: were really excited about her comment about taking money from APEC.
- 1:46:55Speaker 4: But I am going to say, most members of Congress
- 1:46:57Speaker 4: aren't voting on their knees. Do you hear multitudes of
- 1:47:01Speaker 4: members of Congress saying, oh my god, they made me
- 1:47:03Speaker 4: vote against anti semitism again.
- 1:47:05Speaker 5: Ah, the nerve?
- 1:47:07Speaker 4: Why would you be mad about voting against anti semitism?
- 1:47:10Speaker 4: It's like voting against racism or anything else that is
- 1:47:14Speaker 4: patently bad.
- 1:47:16Speaker 5: Now.
- 1:47:16Speaker 4: I say this to say she's trying to make the case,
- 1:47:20Speaker 4: as are others that are in the conservative movement that
- 1:47:24Speaker 4: I believe don't like the Jews. It's my belief, and
- 1:47:29Speaker 4: they hide it behind a critique of Yahoo, a critique
- 1:47:33Speaker 4: of the kanesse At, a critique of the Israeli government,
- 1:47:36Speaker 4: or the IDF. And she says she's voted a number
- 1:47:39Speaker 4: of times for anti semitism, then why why not? Why
- 1:47:42Speaker 4: not do it one more time? And I think Leslie
- 1:47:44Speaker 4: Stall was right here. I think we're seeing more and
- 1:47:47Speaker 4: more anti semitism all over the place, so then why
- 1:47:50Speaker 4: not reaffirm that in the face of the growing anti Semitism.
- 1:47:55Speaker 4: I understand she's saying she feels like it's enough, it's
- 1:47:57Speaker 4: enough to vote present. But to sit here and say
- 1:47:59Speaker 4: I'm not going to get on my knees. Who's asking
- 1:48:01Speaker 4: you to get on your knees. Nobody's ever asked me
- 1:48:03Speaker 4: to get on my knees. I don't understand this. To me,
- 1:48:07Speaker 4: that's the not so thinly veiled attempt to attack, and
- 1:48:13Speaker 4: it just to me, it wasn't a good look.
- 1:48:16Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:48:16Speaker 4: It almost seemed like she was contentious towards these types
- 1:48:20Speaker 4: of resolutions, which, again, if you don't want to vote
- 1:48:25Speaker 4: against anti semitism, then I mean it's safe for some
- 1:48:29Speaker 4: to assume that you're voting for it. And I don't
- 1:48:32Speaker 4: think anybody wants to be in that camp. That's my thought.
- 1:48:36Speaker 4: And I also don't think that anybody's being paid. If
- 1:48:38Speaker 4: I were a member of Congress, whether I took money
- 1:48:40Speaker 4: from Apak or not, I would vote to disparage anti Semitism.
- 1:48:47Speaker 4: Why would anybody not unless you're ill? Hand omar so
- 1:48:50Speaker 4: I think that was a bad look. But otherwise, godspeed
- 1:48:53Speaker 4: to you, Marjorie Taylor Green, thanks for your service to
- 1:48:56Speaker 4: the country. And we continue straight ahead more to there's
- 1:49:00Speaker 4: a doctor out there that says mammograms might actually be
- 1:49:04Speaker 4: causing cancer. Go figure, it was supposed to catch cancer.
- 1:49:08Speaker 4: He says you might catch cancer from the mamogram. Ain't
- 1:49:12Speaker 4: that's something. Don't go anywhere Amara.
- 1:49:21Speaker 3: This is Samaria, all right.
- 1:49:29Speaker 4: I mean, he goes, welcome back, Rich Valdez, keeping your
- 1:49:32Speaker 4: company tonight, almost.
- 1:49:34Speaker 5: Wrapping it up.
- 1:49:34Speaker 4: And I want to get into this discussion about the
- 1:49:39Speaker 4: doctor that says that anti no anti semitism. That was
- 1:49:43Speaker 4: the last thing that mammograms, that mammograms, the radiographic imaging
- 1:49:50Speaker 4: that's used to examine breast tissue might in fact be
- 1:49:56Speaker 4: leading to more instances of breast cancer. This I thought
- 1:50:00Speaker 4: was pretty shocking, and apparently it's supported by some data,
- 1:50:05Speaker 4: and then it's also shot down by other data, by
- 1:50:09Speaker 4: those that say no, no, no, don't say that. We
- 1:50:11Speaker 4: don't want you to say that the testing is causing
- 1:50:14Speaker 4: the cancer.
- 1:50:14Speaker 1: Listen to this data has come out about mimography, getting
- 1:50:19Speaker 1: a mammogram that shows that for every ten thousand people
- 1:50:23Speaker 1: that you give a mammogram to, eight people will die
- 1:50:25Speaker 1: that would have never had breast.
- 1:50:26Speaker 6: Cancer from breast cancer.
- 1:50:29Speaker 1: Now you can justify using a mammogram and say, well,
- 1:50:33Speaker 1: hundreds of people will be saved by getting mammograms preemptively.
- 1:50:37Speaker 1: First off, the hipocratical says do no harm.
- 1:50:39Speaker 5: First, that's doing harm.
- 1:50:41Speaker 1: You're killing eight people. You're killing eight people for every
- 1:50:43Speaker 1: ten thousand mammograms. And yes, you're saving hundreds. However, there
- 1:50:48Speaker 1: is a ton of data that actually shows as a
- 1:50:50Speaker 1: fifty two percent overdiagnosis when using mimography. That means that
- 1:50:55Speaker 1: we are treating a great deal of people that would
- 1:50:58Speaker 1: have never died of breat cancer in the first place,
- 1:51:01Speaker 1: just by doing the mammogram. Now, if you want to
- 1:51:02Speaker 1: do a safer way, you have a couple options. You
- 1:51:04Speaker 1: can do ultrasound, which literally is super definitive, and if
- 1:51:07Speaker 1: you found something on mammogram, you'd get an ultrasound anyways,
- 1:51:10Speaker 1: except with ultrasound there's no radio deation. Secondly, you can
- 1:51:14Speaker 1: do a thermogram. Just have them take a heat signature
- 1:51:16Speaker 1: of your breast tissue and you can actually see if
- 1:51:18Speaker 1: there's metabolock activity potentially extra blood flow to one of
- 1:51:21Speaker 1: your breast and then you'd get an ultrasound. Anyways, Why
- 1:51:23Speaker 1: are we getting mammograms and telling women to get mammograms
- 1:51:25Speaker 1: on a yearly basis, especially if they have dense breast tissue,
- 1:51:28Speaker 1: when the radiation from the mammogram can actually cause breast
- 1:51:30Speaker 1: cancer and they've done long term studies on this. I
- 1:51:33Speaker 1: actually read a cock Froom review, which is the most
- 1:51:36Speaker 1: prestigious research EIMTE to exist. It's a huge menanalysis of
- 1:51:39Speaker 1: multiple multiple studies and basically said, in a study of
- 1:51:42Speaker 1: node positive cancers that were saved within screen pre screens
- 1:51:49Speaker 1: versus controls, screen would be a mammogram there was a
- 1:51:53Speaker 1: zero net effectiveness rating, so just keep that in mind.
- 1:51:56Speaker 1: Ultrasound and thermogram should be the standard.
- 1:52:00Speaker 5: So that is pretty alarming right.
- 1:52:05Speaker 8: Now.
- 1:52:05Speaker 4: This doctor, his name is doctor Goodbinder. He issued this
- 1:52:09Speaker 4: PSA on his Instagram feed. But some people are saying
- 1:52:13Speaker 4: it's it's pseudoscience, it's misleading, it's not real. Now this
- 1:52:18Speaker 4: when you put it out on TikTok, it got over
- 1:52:20Speaker 4: a one point five million views. I think that this
- 1:52:24Speaker 4: is an interesting topic to explore. I mean, it sounded
- 1:52:26Speaker 4: it made sense to me. It's not the first time
- 1:52:28Speaker 4: I've heard that either. I also heard it about biopsies
- 1:52:30Speaker 4: that biopsies can also spread the carcinogenic tissue, causing more
- 1:52:37Speaker 4: illness as opposed to not cutting it open. But according
- 1:52:42Speaker 4: to doctor Goodbinder, the recent data indicates that these mammograms
- 1:52:45Speaker 4: may actually be harmful to some patients. And like he said,
- 1:52:49Speaker 4: for every ten thousand people that you give a mammogram to,
- 1:52:52Speaker 4: eight people will die that would have never had breast
- 1:52:55Speaker 4: cancer to begin with. He continued to explain that many
- 1:52:59Speaker 4: just to find the use of these machines because they
- 1:53:02Speaker 4: save hundreds of lives, and that's because early detection of
- 1:53:05Speaker 4: breast cancer leads to better survival rates. However, the doctor
- 1:53:09Speaker 4: said he firmly believes in the Hippocratic oath taken by
- 1:53:12Speaker 4: doctors and that first part is do no harm.
- 1:53:15Speaker 5: And I agree with that too.
- 1:53:16Speaker 4: It's central to the oath. It reminds doctors to be
- 1:53:19Speaker 4: mindful when treating patients. He says, it's doing harm to
- 1:53:23Speaker 4: actually kill eight people per every ten thousand mammograms. I think,
- 1:53:27Speaker 4: so we shouldn't be killing people because we're trying to
- 1:53:30Speaker 4: test for cancer that we're trying to save you from.
- 1:53:33Speaker 4: The doctor also argued that the assertion that hundreds of
- 1:53:36Speaker 4: lives are saved annually by mammograms might be a misrepresentation,
- 1:53:41Speaker 4: saying that there's a ton of data that actually shows
- 1:53:44Speaker 4: a fifty two percent over diagnosis and you heard that
- 1:53:47Speaker 4: in the video when using mimography, and that he recommends
- 1:53:51Speaker 4: using ultrasound as an alternative to that. I'm very curious because,
- 1:53:56Speaker 4: according to an article from Johns Hopkins's Medicine, this this
- 1:54:00Speaker 4: is one of six common mammogram myths that could potentially
- 1:54:04Speaker 4: lead people to miss the health screening that they need,
- 1:54:06Speaker 4: which is recommended annually for women over the age of forty,
- 1:54:10Speaker 4: and the article features another doctor, doctor zeb she's a
- 1:54:14Speaker 4: breast imaging specialist at Johns Hopkins, advocating for this. So again,
- 1:54:19Speaker 4: like usual, you get some doctors that think it's not good,
- 1:54:22Speaker 4: others that think it is good. And she ultimately makes
- 1:54:26Speaker 4: the case that humans that are exposed to constant background
- 1:54:31Speaker 4: radiation in their daily lives, the radiation does from a
- 1:54:34Speaker 4: mammogram is equal to about two months of background radiation
- 1:54:37Speaker 4: for the average woman. So I guess like background radiation
- 1:54:41Speaker 4: being like microwave ovens or cell phone usage or things
- 1:54:43Speaker 4: like that. The FDA published an article that states that
- 1:54:47Speaker 4: thermography has not been shown to be effective as a
- 1:54:49Speaker 4: standalone test for breast cancer screening and detecting the early
- 1:54:54Speaker 4: stages of breast cancer. The article further states that patients
- 1:54:58Speaker 4: who opt for thermography did not take the results as
- 1:55:01Speaker 4: definitive if they don't also get another test, such as
- 1:55:05Speaker 4: a mammogram. In the comments section, plenty of viewsers said
- 1:55:09Speaker 4: they agreed with doctor Goodmunder. However, not everyone agreed with
- 1:55:13Speaker 4: his advice, And ultimately, I think these are things you
- 1:55:18Speaker 4: got a test right. There was a time in our
- 1:55:21Speaker 4: medical history collectively as a country that we were forcing
- 1:55:26Speaker 4: people to get vaccines. And if you didn't get when
- 1:55:31Speaker 4: you were killing someone's grandmother. I don't know if anybody
- 1:55:33Speaker 4: remembers that, right, get the vaccine, you're killing my mother,
- 1:55:35Speaker 4: You're killing my grandmother. We all know that was a force.
- 1:55:39Speaker 4: It was fake, it was phony, it was fraud. And
- 1:55:41Speaker 4: now we know that those vaccines, in fact have even
- 1:55:44Speaker 4: killed some children who were given the vaccines when they
- 1:55:46Speaker 4: didn't even need them. So I'll let you make of
- 1:55:49Speaker 4: this what you want. But now you know, and like
- 1:55:51Speaker 4: Paul Harvey would say, now you know the rest of
- 1:55:53Speaker 4: the story. Anyway, keep it locked right here. I'm gonna
- 1:55:55Speaker 4: wrap things up. I'll be right back.
- 1:55:57Speaker 3: This is America, This is America. He's making podcasting great again.
- 1:56:19Speaker 3: This is America with the Rich Valdez.
- 1:56:24Speaker 4: All right, I mean he goes, welcome back, Rich Valdez.
- 1:56:26Speaker 4: Valdees with an ask at Rich Valdez on all of
- 1:56:28Speaker 4: the social media keeping you company.
- 1:56:31Speaker 5: And I want to get into a couple of items
- 1:56:33Speaker 5: of good news, if you will. There's a study that
- 1:56:36Speaker 5: came out in January. It's a little bit out of
- 1:56:38Speaker 5: date right now, but very positive. A lot of good news.
- 1:56:42Speaker 4: Coming out of it indicating that if you have potential
- 1:56:47Speaker 4: for breast cancer. The weight loss drug mount Jarro, which
- 1:56:52Speaker 4: I've heard nothing but great things about it, I can
- 1:56:54Speaker 4: tell you from my own perspective that it.
- 1:56:58Speaker 5: Seems to be a miracle drug. The now say, or
- 1:57:02Speaker 5: the scientists now say, yes. In fact, people are experiencing
- 1:57:09Speaker 5: a decrease in the risk for cancer.
- 1:57:13Speaker 4: Because of this. All right, check this out. Mount Jarro boobs.
- 1:57:18Speaker 4: Weight loss drugs can shrink breast cancer tumors. According to
- 1:57:21Speaker 4: a new study, turns out that these GLP one drugs
- 1:57:25Speaker 4: just aren't slimming waistlines, they're shrinking tumors as well. A
- 1:57:28Speaker 4: new study reports that mice shed about twenty percent of
- 1:57:31Speaker 4: their body weight and saw their breast cancer tumors decrease
- 1:57:35Speaker 4: after getting injected with her Zeppetite, which is sold as
- 1:57:38Speaker 4: mount Jarro or zip bound for obesity. Obesity is a
- 1:57:43Speaker 4: significant risk factor for breast cancer, said the study author,
- 1:57:47Speaker 4: a doctor Amanda Cosinicus. She's a PhD candidate at the
- 1:57:52Speaker 4: University of Michigan. And while it's very preliminary data, the
- 1:57:56Speaker 4: studies in the mice suggest that these new anti obesia
- 1:58:00Speaker 4: city drugs may be a way to reduce obesity related
- 1:58:03Speaker 4: breast cancer risk and improve outcomes as well. Trezepatite is
- 1:58:07Speaker 4: a part of a drug class called GLP one, which,
- 1:58:12Speaker 4: like ozepic and wagovi, they reduced appetite by mimicking the
- 1:58:16Speaker 4: GLP one hormone that the body naturally produces after eating.
- 1:58:19Speaker 4: And there is a new study and I talked about
- 1:58:21Speaker 4: it last week, routetaitide. I think it's what it's called
- 1:58:27Speaker 4: this or rich retritatide. Anyway, I'm saying it wrong. But
- 1:58:34Speaker 4: this new drug they're saying could help you with all
- 1:58:36Speaker 4: sorts of impulse control like gambling, drug addiction, all sorts
- 1:58:41Speaker 4: of things where people can't feel like they can't control themselves,
- 1:58:44Speaker 4: including eating, impulse eating.
- 1:58:48Speaker 5: That these things are showing some sort of improvement there.
- 1:58:52Speaker 4: So for the new study, sixteen young mice with breast
- 1:58:55Speaker 4: cancer were fattened up and kept in a warm home
- 1:58:57Speaker 4: to encourage obesity.
- 1:58:59Speaker 5: Sounds right.
- 1:59:00Speaker 4: The mice we're given trezeppetide and a placebo every other
- 1:59:04Speaker 4: day for sixteen weeks. Researchers measured their tumor volumes twice
- 1:59:07Speaker 4: a week, finding that as the mice shed the pounds
- 1:59:10Speaker 4: and the fat stored in their livers, their tumors shrank accordingly.
- 1:59:15Speaker 4: So Marrow of the story, don't be fat. If you
- 1:59:18Speaker 4: got to be fat, get yourself some to zeppetide, all right,
- 1:59:21Speaker 4: I mean, he goes. I think that's it for me.
- 1:59:25Speaker 4: I hope, I hope that's it for me.
- 1:59:27Speaker 11: Right.
- 1:59:27Speaker 5: I don't think we have much more time left. I
- 1:59:29Speaker 5: think we've got thirty seconds on the clock. But I
- 1:59:32Speaker 5: want to thank you for being here.
- 1:59:33Speaker 4: I want to thank counsel woman of Vicki Palladino for
- 1:59:36Speaker 4: joining us and calling into the show this evening. Looking
- 1:59:38Speaker 4: forward to adding in the call in portion open phone
- 1:59:41Speaker 4: in America that you guys can call into. We're making
- 1:59:46Speaker 4: strides on that front. You know, it's technology and we've
- 1:59:50Speaker 4: got to get around these things. But the big news
- 1:59:53Speaker 4: which will be coming in January, I think you're really
- 1:59:56Speaker 4: gonna enjoy.
- 1:59:57Speaker 5: That as well.
- 1:59:58Speaker 4: So us stall Approxima, take care, good night, and God
- 2:00:01Speaker 4: bless you America.
- 2:00:03Speaker 5: And I always say at the end of the show,
- 2:00:05Speaker 5: you have to stand for something. If you stand for nothing,
- 2:00:07Speaker 5: you'll fall for anything. And the only thing necessary for
- 2:00:11Speaker 5: evil to triumph is for you to do nothing. I
- 2:00:14Speaker 5: start at Proxhima I'm rich Valdez and this is America.
- 2:00:19Speaker 3: This is America.
