- 0:09Speaker 1: Welcome to the favorites presented by draft Kings. The crown
- 0:13Speaker 1: is yours. We are an action network podcast. I'm your host,
- 0:17Speaker 1: Brandon Kravitz joined by the first lady, Kendra Middleton week seven,
- 0:21Speaker 1: full breakdown preview and our official five plays for the contest.
- 0:26Speaker 1: Emerson Latzia from draft Kings will be joining us as well.
- 0:29Speaker 1: I don't know if you've heard Kendra, but five and
- 0:32Speaker 1: O in the contest last week. So a lot of
- 0:34Speaker 1: pressure to deliver here. We, we can't, the last thing
- 0:38Speaker 1: we can do is go all in five or one
- 0:41Speaker 1: in four. We have to follow this up two and
- 0:43Speaker 1: three would be a disappointment, but at least we're kind of,
- 0:46Speaker 1: you know, we're not, we haven't completely lost it. Gotta
- 0:50Speaker 1: stay on top of the winning ways.
- 0:53Speaker 2: Gotta do it.
- 0:54Speaker 3: We were so close with the Monday night football parlay.
- 0:57Speaker 3: I was texting you. We were sweating. I thought that
- 1:00Speaker 3: you were going to hit and I wasn't turned out
- 1:02Speaker 3: to be the opposite by what was it? One attempt
- 1:04Speaker 3: that we lost by crazy. Of course, that's how it's
- 1:06Speaker 3: going to go on a, you know, perfect week.
- 1:09Speaker 1: And McCaffrey was, uh, they were feeding him early and
- 1:12Speaker 1: then they kind of went away from him as they
- 1:14Speaker 1: built the lead and Kalen black was in there. And
- 1:16Speaker 1: then the commanders made it close at the end. They
- 1:19Speaker 1: had the, roll with McCaffrey. It was just game flow.
- 1:23Speaker 1: Didn't exactly go my way wound up getting hooked, but, um,
- 1:28Speaker 1: you are kind of in on these punt props. Is this,
- 1:32Speaker 1: is this going to become a thing for you?
- 1:35Speaker 4: Yeah, it already has.
- 1:36Speaker 3: I have been in the weeds of pump props on
- 1:39Speaker 3: DK this week. I, there was, I wish that we
- 1:41Speaker 3: had more available on the action app. Maybe that's something
- 1:44Speaker 3: we can, you know, work on. I think that there's
- 1:46Speaker 3: definitely money to be made, but now I'm even working
- 1:49Speaker 3: in on the kicker props. I have one for this weekend.
- 1:51Speaker 3: I have Daniel Carlson's under because he's been struggling. They're
- 1:54Speaker 3: going abroad. They're a team that scores a lot of touchdowns.
- 1:56Speaker 3: And I think that because he's been struggling for anything
- 1:59Speaker 3: over 50 for the If they're down and chasing or
- 2:02Speaker 3: they don't trust him, I think that they might just
- 2:04Speaker 3: go for it on a fourth down opportunity. So I
- 2:06Speaker 3: think that there are ways to make money, not just
- 2:09Speaker 3: on these punting props, but also on the kickers. I
- 2:12Speaker 3: think it's something that a lot of these books don't
- 2:13Speaker 3: pay attention to. So if you're a special teams truther
- 2:16Speaker 3: like me, those options are there and they're available.
- 2:18Speaker 1: You know, longest kick over under on makes Carlson, the
- 2:23Speaker 1: kicker for the New Orleans Saints.
- 2:25Speaker 2: I've got no qualms with that.
- 2:28Speaker 1: I tell anybody that is interested in embedding day to day,
- 2:32Speaker 1: if you find an angle with these derivative markets, have
- 2:38Speaker 1: at it, there's money to be made in there, but
- 2:41Speaker 1: you know, you got to stick with it. I don't
- 2:42Speaker 1: think you can just kind of like jump around and
- 2:44Speaker 1: have success. Uh, and if you're tailing somebody know where they're,
- 2:49Speaker 1: what sort of their pattern is too, because if you,
- 2:52Speaker 1: if you dive it, the menu is so big that
- 2:55Speaker 1: if you overwhelm yourself, That's where I have the least
- 2:58Speaker 1: success in betting is when I try and do too
- 3:00Speaker 1: many different things. But, you know, you've gone through the
- 3:05Speaker 1: discovery process a lot so far this year, and I
- 3:07Speaker 1: think you may have done something.
- 3:09Speaker 4: It's been wild.
- 3:10Speaker 3: I think that what's working for me right now is
- 3:12Speaker 3: as I watch the games back, just kind of taking
- 3:14Speaker 3: notes of what I noticed in the first game. And
- 3:16Speaker 3: if it's something I noticed the second time that I
- 3:18Speaker 3: watch it, or I see someone who's, you know, carrying
- 3:21Speaker 3: a hot hand, getting targets or anything like that, I
- 3:24Speaker 3: kind of write things down and then go look at
- 3:26Speaker 3: the statistics for the entirety of the season and that's
- 3:29Speaker 3: kind of how i'm getting to where i am right
- 3:30Speaker 3: now but it's been weird i've talked about a few
- 3:32Speaker 3: times how you know every season futures kind of seem
- 3:35Speaker 3: to be my bread and butter but sometimes it spreads
- 3:37Speaker 3: sometimes it's total sometimes it's player props and i have
- 3:39Speaker 3: not found that niche so far this year so i
- 3:41Speaker 3: think it's gonna have to be.
- 3:42Speaker 4: Punting so.
- 3:45Speaker 1: Random um There's so much going on, too. Speaking of
- 3:50Speaker 1: the expanded menu, NBA just started. I'm deep in the
- 3:53Speaker 1: weeds there. I couldn't care less.
- 3:55Speaker 4: What's going on?
- 3:57Speaker 2: You got the world series. Do you care about the
- 3:59Speaker 2: world series?
- 4:00Speaker 3: I do only because of the like small market factor.
- 4:05Speaker 3: I would not care as much if it were like Dodgers,
- 4:08Speaker 3: Yankees or whatever, but I love the small market thing.
- 4:12Speaker 3: But I think that this is the least excited I've
- 4:14Speaker 3: ever been for a basketball season in my entire life.
- 4:18Speaker 5: Oh God.
- 4:19Speaker 1: I'm so excited. It's just, I have to sort of
- 4:22Speaker 1: like dial it back. I got to pick, This is
- 4:24Speaker 1: why I went to a pumpkin patch this last Sunday.
- 4:26Speaker 1: I've got to find these pockets in my life to
- 4:31Speaker 1: touch grass. More of the favorites coming up. Our weekly

- 4:38Speaker 1: dividends for us here on the favorites. We've got nominated plays.

- 5:39Speaker 1: on this show. Doc, welcome back. You have been in
- 5:42Speaker 1: the news over the last 24 plus hours. This Jalen
- 5:46Speaker 1: Hurts controversy has sort of taken over the news cycle
- 5:50Speaker 1: in terms of health and injury-related info.
- 5:54Speaker 5: Well, I'm happy to provide my insight. And I guess
- 5:58Speaker 5: this is why I'm not a journalist. I don't understand...
- 6:02Speaker 5: how this story has just morphed and run wild.
- 6:05Speaker 6: Bad optics, 1,000%.
- 6:08Speaker 5: A less than desired outcome with the PE, 100,000%. Look,
- 6:17Speaker 5: you can't trot Nick Sirianni out there and let him
- 6:20Speaker 5: not explain something that's medical and refuse to explain. And
- 6:24Speaker 5: I actually respect the NFL chief medical officer, Dr. Alan Sills,
- 6:29Speaker 5: but I wish instead of saying we've exonerated the Eagles
- 6:32Speaker 5: and no doctor would do this.
- 6:33Speaker 6: That is true.
- 6:35Speaker 5: No doctor would do this, but I would have liked
- 6:37Speaker 5: him here and say, I was involved in the medical
- 6:40Speaker 5: decision-making and it met standards. And, you know, I reviewed
- 6:45Speaker 5: actual records and have facts beyond what you know in
- 6:49Speaker 5: public that would have probably had a little more gravitas,
- 6:52Speaker 5: but yeah, it's a bad thing that he's got a PE, but,
- 6:56Speaker 5: you know, the, the, the, the sleep this night or
- 6:59Speaker 5: no sleeping at night, that's been long debunked.
- 7:02Speaker 6: And, you know, it was, if it was a, let.
- 7:05Speaker 5: Me say this again, if it were a deep vein
- 7:09Speaker 5: thrombosis prior to the game in London or prior to
- 7:12Speaker 5: the flight home, it is wrong to have played Jalen hurts.
- 7:18Speaker 5: It is wrong to put him on the flight like that.
- 7:22Speaker 6: If it were.
- 7:23Speaker 5: Superficial at the time, it's, normal and standard to do so.
- 7:29Speaker 5: That's the big distinction that we don't know. If they
- 7:33Speaker 5: put them on the flight from London with no accommodations
- 7:37Speaker 5: for potentially blood clot getting worse, that is wrong, period,
- 7:41Speaker 5: end of discussion. But if you guys know that, and
- 7:46Speaker 5: the average Joe knows that going on a long flight
- 7:50Speaker 5: is a potential problem when you have a blood clot.
- 7:53Speaker 5: Don't you think the three doctors that traveled on the
- 7:55Speaker 5: trip and the five athletic trainers knew that too? I
- 7:59Speaker 5: would be shocked if they didn't make accommodations like giving
- 8:03Speaker 5: him some medication in case or mechanical mobilizers hydrated him.
- 8:09Speaker 5: Of course, he had a first class seat. It wasn't
- 8:11Speaker 5: middle seat on Southwest and he could move around. So
- 8:15Speaker 5: I don't understand. Look, the optics of this are horrible.
- 8:19Speaker 5: I am thrilled There is an NFLPA investigation, but let
- 8:23Speaker 5: me clarify that one too. It is not an NFLPA investigation.
- 8:30Speaker 5: They don't need to demand anything. They have the CBA
- 8:34Speaker 5: right to ask for, at any time, an investigation into
- 8:38Speaker 5: medical care, and a doctor from the NFLPA will be appointed,
- 8:43Speaker 5: chosen by them. A doctor appointed by the NFL will
- 8:46Speaker 5: be chosen. These two doctors will choose a third doctor
- 8:50Speaker 5: between the two of them. And that three panel thing
- 8:53Speaker 5: will get to review medical records and decide.
- 8:56Speaker 6: The sooner, the better. I welcome it.
- 8:59Speaker 5: I don't know exactly what happened there. But if the
- 9:02Speaker 5: fact pattern is what was reported by the Eagles, to
- 9:05Speaker 5: be honest, and that's an if, then I don't see
- 9:09Speaker 5: where this is going to be anything, any wrongdoing there.
- 9:13Speaker 5: But that's a few ifs there in terms of what's
- 9:16Speaker 5: going on. The other key reading in the tea leaves
- 9:18Speaker 5: is Nicole Lynn is a respected agent. If Jalen Hurts
- 9:23Speaker 5: were harmed in this in some way, why would she
- 9:26Speaker 5: join in with the Eagles with joint statements?
- 9:29Speaker 4: That's a good point.
- 9:30Speaker 3: I think that this is the first time in my
- 9:32Speaker 3: life I'm grateful that the Jaguars have absolutely zero pass
- 9:35Speaker 3: rush because that means that Jalen Hurts might be a
- 9:37Speaker 3: little bit healthier today than he would have.
- 9:38Speaker 4: Been if that wasn't the case.
- 9:40Speaker 3: And we have a lot to get to as far as,
- 9:42Speaker 3: you know, who's going to be healthy or not healthy
- 9:43Speaker 3: for this week. But my one question before we move
- 9:46Speaker 3: on is obviously Jalen Hurts is going to be out
- 9:48Speaker 3: for the rest of this season, but what do you
- 9:50Speaker 3: think the rest of his career looks like? And I
- 9:52Speaker 3: know that you aren't his doctor, so you don't have
- 9:54Speaker 3: all of the information, but just off of the information
- 9:56Speaker 3: that you have, what can you kind of tell us
- 9:59Speaker 3: about that?
- 10:00Speaker 6: Barring something super unusual.
- 10:02Speaker 5: Like he has some sort of hypercoagulable disease or something
- 10:07Speaker 5: in his blood that makes him more prone to do something.
- 10:10Speaker 5: I am very confident that Jalen Hurts will have an
- 10:14Speaker 5: opportunity to return to the NFL if he so chooses. Look, PEs,
- 10:20Speaker 5: pulmonary embolism, are nothing to ignore. They're very dangerous and
- 10:26Speaker 5: potentially fatal. Yes, appropriately treated PEs are not fatal and
- 10:35Speaker 5: really do people do pretty well. Thankfully, fingers crossed just
- 10:40Speaker 5: in the recent couple of years. First of all, just
- 10:44Speaker 5: last week, Taylor Mouton, the right tackle for the Panthers
- 10:49Speaker 5: came back from his PE and played in that game
- 10:52Speaker 5: against the Eagles. Chris Alave had a PE at the
- 10:56Speaker 5: end of last season has returned to play a Larrick
- 10:59Speaker 5: Jackson in the recent past. Rashawn Slater for the Chargers
- 11:04Speaker 5: left tackle in the past. Christian Barrymore for the Patriots.
- 11:07Speaker 5: David Andrews. These are all names off the top of
- 11:10Speaker 5: my head. The list is longer than that. They have
- 11:13Speaker 5: all successfully returned to the NFL. Yes, tragically, Derek Thomas.
- 11:19Speaker 5: linebacker of the chiefs died from a PE, but that
- 11:23Speaker 5: was a car accident where he had a cervical spine injury.
- 11:28Speaker 5: He was thrown from the car and the PE was
- 11:30Speaker 5: the complications of his trauma as he lay in the
- 11:33Speaker 5: hospital bed, not the same situation.
- 11:37Speaker 6: Yes. Scary.
- 11:38Speaker 2: Yes.
- 11:38Speaker 5: Need to be dealt with, but barring something super unusual
- 11:43Speaker 5: here with Jalen Hurts, I think he falls in the
- 11:47Speaker 5: past of Chris Alave, Taylor Mouton, Aleric Jackson, Rashawn Slater, etc.
- 11:53Speaker 3: And do you think that this, I mean, obviously you
- 11:55Speaker 3: said we don't have all of the answers as to
- 11:57Speaker 3: what went down here, but in your experience, does this
- 12:00Speaker 3: cause any medical distrust between teammates and the staff?
- 12:05Speaker 6: I'm not in the building. I don't know. It could.
- 12:08Speaker 5: But this is why you build up trust over a
- 12:11Speaker 5: long period of time. Quite honestly, this might be a
- 12:14Speaker 5: rally cry for the Eagles if they have faith in it.
- 12:16Speaker 6: Look, I'd love to hear from Jalen Hurts.
- 12:18Speaker 5: Look, you've already heard from Nicole Lynn. She seems to
- 12:21Speaker 5: be okay with everything, at least through the statements. Look,
- 12:26Speaker 5: we don't know from the outside what's happened on the inside.
- 12:29Speaker 5: And I don't pretend to know.
- 12:31Speaker 6: Look, I get it.
- 12:32Speaker 5: This is horrible optics. I'm the first one to say,
- 12:35Speaker 5: if it was more than an SVT Eagles, what you
- 12:38Speaker 5: did was wrong.
- 12:40Speaker 6: Okay.
- 12:40Speaker 5: If you didn't make any accommodations on the fight, what
- 12:43Speaker 5: you did was wrong, but it's unfathomable to me that
- 12:47Speaker 5: they would have played someone with a DVT. It's unfathomable
- 12:51Speaker 5: to me that they wouldn't have done something on the
- 12:53Speaker 5: flight having been there.
- 12:55Speaker 6: That's all I'm saying.
- 12:56Speaker 5: Now, if it turns out that what happened is true,
- 12:59Speaker 5: the investigation will bear it out. And there should be
- 13:02Speaker 5: a price to pay for the Eagles. But from the outside,
- 13:05Speaker 5: all the people making a big deal about it, I
- 13:10Speaker 5: don't know. I mean, I think we need to learn
- 13:12Speaker 5: the facts first. And that's all I'm saying. I'm not
- 13:15Speaker 5: trying to protect anyone. Bring on the investigation. I think, look,
- 13:20Speaker 5: I'm the one who's been saying for years, and I'm
- 13:22Speaker 5: sorry to go off on a rant on this.
- 13:23Speaker 6: Yes, I'm sorry. I've been busy and whatever.
- 13:25Speaker 5: I've been saying for years, why don't, there are often
- 13:29Speaker 5: controversies at the end of a game, what happened with
- 13:32Speaker 5: the guy in terms of injury, et cetera, right? And
- 13:35Speaker 5: it looks bad from the TV perspective, what was done
- 13:37Speaker 5: or not done, why a guy was put back in
- 13:39Speaker 5: the game or not put back in the game. I've
- 13:41Speaker 5: been advocating that when needed, a pool reporter should be
- 13:45Speaker 5: able to talk to a medical spokesperson of some sort,
- 13:48Speaker 5: whether the league, whether the team or whatever. You do
- 13:51Speaker 5: it with the pool reporter and to the, to the referee. Now,
- 13:55Speaker 5: does it solve everything? No, but it does help when
- 13:58Speaker 5: the referee says, well, this was the call in the
- 14:00Speaker 5: field and this is what happened. And this is why
- 14:02Speaker 5: we did it.
- 14:02Speaker 6: Right.
- 14:03Speaker 5: Just for the mechanics. I mean, it would help to
- 14:05Speaker 5: know some of that. And people are going to say,
- 14:07Speaker 5: what about HIPAA? What about HIPAA?
- 14:09Speaker 2: Okay.
- 14:09Speaker 5: HIPAA is real. But how do we get around all
- 14:12Speaker 5: these injury reporting on what Jalen Hurts had in the SVT?
- 14:15Speaker 5: How do we get around our daily injury reports? How
- 14:17Speaker 5: do we get around our press conferences of coaches that
- 14:22Speaker 5: talk about injuries and so forth? And I'd be the
- 14:24Speaker 5: first one to say, before you have a pool reporter
- 14:28Speaker 5: ask questions about a topic, you ask the player and
- 14:30Speaker 5: or his agent, do you want to waive HIPAA? Because
- 14:33Speaker 5: it's a new thing in this. And if they say, no,
- 14:35Speaker 5: we don't want to, then you say, Mr. Pool Reporter,
- 14:38Speaker 5: I can't talk to you, right? But if they say yes,
- 14:41Speaker 5: then you can then talk. I think it would help
- 14:43Speaker 5: clear up confusion. What's driven this incident with the Eagles
- 14:47Speaker 5: is putting out Nick Sirianni, who didn't know and didn't
- 14:49Speaker 5: answer anything. And all respect to Dr. Sills, he didn't
- 14:53Speaker 5: give any medical information. He just said, we did everything right,
- 14:56Speaker 5: and there's nothing to see here. And then there's normal skepticism.
- 15:01Speaker 5: Take away, pull back the curtain. If you pull back
- 15:03Speaker 5: the curtain, I think people will understand better.
- 15:05Speaker 6: That's all I advocate.
- 15:07Speaker 1: So a fascinating conversation, Doc, and you have a lot
- 15:12Speaker 1: to say on it.
- 15:12Speaker 2: We appreciate that.
- 15:14Speaker 1: We got to move to week seven. I am so
- 15:19Speaker 1: confused as to what is happening with Lamar Jackson. The
- 15:22Speaker 1: coach says that he's close. He's not practicing fully, but
- 15:27Speaker 1: he is limited. Now there's a video of a limp
- 15:30Speaker 1: and the line movement would suggest that he is not
- 15:33Speaker 1: playing in this football game. You called it last week
- 15:36Speaker 1: and said he wasn't going to play. What do you
- 15:38Speaker 1: have for us this week?
- 15:40Speaker 6: Last week I was saying, you know, 85, 80 plus percent.
- 15:45Speaker 6: This is earlier in the week.
- 15:46Speaker 5: I mean that he wasn't going to play this week
- 15:49Speaker 5: on Sunday, Monday, I said it was two thirds, not
- 15:53Speaker 5: play one third play. And that's kind of where we're
- 15:56Speaker 5: headed towards right now. He did get in a quote
- 15:59Speaker 5: limited practice. I'm not sure he did much of anything
- 16:02Speaker 5: next week will become more of a 50 50. That's
- 16:05Speaker 5: where I put all of this. Look, I explained it before.
- 16:09Speaker 5: Lamar Jackson is an indie car. He's a Formula One
- 16:13Speaker 5: race car. He's super high performance. He's unbelievable in what
- 16:16Speaker 5: he does in and out of corners and what he
- 16:18Speaker 5: can do. When he's not 100% and you look at
- 16:21Speaker 5: his track record, this is not a knock on Lamar Jackson.
- 16:24Speaker 5: Look at the ankle and the knee injuries at the
- 16:26Speaker 5: end of the season, 2021, 2022. Look at the back
- 16:29Speaker 5: last year. Look at the hamstring last year. He likes
- 16:32Speaker 5: to be an Indy car and have everything and be
- 16:36Speaker 5: high performance to play.
- 16:39Speaker 6: That's okay.
- 16:40Speaker 5: But that's just what it's been for him.
- 16:43Speaker 6: And that is he hurt? Is he injured? Yes. He
- 16:47Speaker 6: has an ankle injury. He is not faking.
- 16:51Speaker 5: Could he play quarterback from the pocket? I believe that
- 16:54Speaker 5: he could, but he's been a guy who likes to
- 16:57Speaker 5: have all his tools and weapons to play and who
- 17:00Speaker 5: can blame him for that?
- 17:04Speaker 3: I need to know your thoughts on Baker Mayfield's availability
- 17:09Speaker 3: or probability that he will play this week, because you
- 17:12Speaker 3: seem to know all the answers and I can't get things.
- 17:14Speaker 3: I can't, I can't, I can't go to the books
- 17:16Speaker 3: until I have your info.
- 17:18Speaker 5: Well, I'll tell you what, since I've been a little
- 17:20Speaker 5: hot and busy on the first couple of takes, let's
- 17:23Speaker 5: have some fun here. Let me answer you very quickly
- 17:26Speaker 5: with a thumbs up.
- 17:27Speaker 2: All right.
- 17:28Speaker 6: Pun intended. Okay.
- 17:30Speaker 5: First of all, I never thought this was a six
- 17:33Speaker 5: week injury. I'll be the first to say, I thought
- 17:35Speaker 5: there was a chance he could have even played a
- 17:37Speaker 5: little bit before this and it didn't happen.
- 17:39Speaker 6: Okay. So I am very confident.
- 17:42Speaker 5: I'm more confident that Baker will play than Lamar Jackson
- 17:45Speaker 5: won't play. And you heard that I'm reasonably confident that
- 17:48Speaker 5: Lamar Jackson won't play just where he had the tape
- 17:52Speaker 5: and the splint on the sidelines indicates he's going to
- 17:55Speaker 5: be able to grip and throw the football. And the
- 17:57Speaker 5: confusion comes from his head coach that says, We're planning
- 18:00Speaker 5: for Jalen Daniels and we'll see. It's just the wording
- 18:03Speaker 5: that confuses people. You can go to the books knowing
- 18:07Speaker 5: that Baker Mayfield is playing and act accordingly, whatever you think.
- 18:12Speaker 4: I think it's worse for them that he's playing, by
- 18:13Speaker 4: the way.
- 18:14Speaker 6: Oh, really?
- 18:15Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 18:16Speaker 2: To be made a deal.
- 18:17Speaker 6: All right. There's a contrary.
- 18:19Speaker 2: I disagree with, I disagree with that.
- 18:22Speaker 5: Then learning from you guys, you should hang on, let
- 18:24Speaker 5: the line move and bet the other side.
- 18:27Speaker 2: Exactly. Definitely the way to, uh, to do it there.
- 18:29Speaker 6: Okay.
- 18:30Speaker 1: Let's go like, uh, we're going to, I want to
- 18:31Speaker 1: hit a couple of other players, green light, yellow light,
- 18:35Speaker 1: red light, green light. You're good with it. Yellow light
- 18:38Speaker 1: and red light. They ain't playing Mike Evans, San Francisco 49ers.
- 18:43Speaker 6: Okay.
- 18:43Speaker 5: First of all, I love the green, yellow, red. And
- 18:45Speaker 5: if you go to six score.com, we have field views
- 18:48Speaker 5: where the entire 49er offense is And the entire Atlanta
- 18:52Speaker 5: defense is red, green, or yellow by position. So you
- 18:56Speaker 5: can go and check it out. And we even have
- 18:58Speaker 5: specific scores. So to answer that question, medically, I believe
- 19:03Speaker 5: Mike Evans is a yellow light. But we're going to
- 19:07Speaker 5: have him on the field view as a red light.
- 19:11Speaker 6: Here's why.
- 19:13Speaker 5: As I said at halftime of the game on Monday night,
- 19:18Speaker 5: Re-aggravation of Keeley's tendonitis. He absolutely could return in the
- 19:22Speaker 5: second half, but I don't believe that he will because
- 19:26Speaker 5: they don't want to risk making it worse. He's kind
- 19:29Speaker 5: of the last man standing in the wide receiver room
- 19:31Speaker 5: right now, right? With Debo and Pearsall and everyone else,
- 19:35Speaker 5: all the other people out, et cetera. George Kittle is
- 19:38Speaker 5: a wide receiver weapon at this point in time. But
- 19:41Speaker 5: here's the deal. I said he'd be out because they
- 19:43Speaker 5: don't want to aggravate it, make it worse. What happens
- 19:46Speaker 5: this week?
- 19:47Speaker 2: Atlanta.
- 19:48Speaker 5: What happens next week? The 49ers bye week. Medical staffs
- 19:52Speaker 5: do look at bye weeks. Will the bye week cure
- 19:56Speaker 5: his Achilles tendonitis?
- 19:58Speaker 6: No.
- 19:58Speaker 5: But if you give him the two weeks surrounding the
- 20:01Speaker 5: bye and the extra week before here now, three weeks,
- 20:04Speaker 5: that goes a long way to making it feel a
- 20:07Speaker 5: lot better. If this were for the division, Mike Evans
- 20:11Speaker 5: would play because it's not. And they have a bi-week.
- 20:14Speaker 5: I do not believe Mike Evans will play this week.
- 20:18Speaker 5: I'm sorry to make a mish mash of the yellow, red, green, yellow,
- 20:21Speaker 5: red light. Here's my analogy to finish it off. The
- 20:25Speaker 5: light is yellow, but the 49ers are going to be
- 20:28Speaker 5: concerned with drivers and put on the brakes and stop
- 20:32Speaker 5: as opposed to the light is yellow.
- 20:33Speaker 6: And let me put on the gas pedal.
- 20:35Speaker 1: Look, you got to know what intersection you're at when
- 20:38Speaker 1: you handle the lights.
- 20:39Speaker 6: There you go. There's an addition to the analogy.
- 20:42Speaker 2: One more line mover, and then we'll get you on
- 20:44Speaker 2: out of here. Patrick Sertan.
- 20:45Speaker 5: They're on time to their appointment, so they don't need
- 20:48Speaker 5: to run the yellow light.
- 20:51Speaker 1: Very much on time with an undefeated record. Patrick Sertan
- 20:54Speaker 1: is a line mover as well. Officially limited on Wednesday.
- 20:58Speaker 1: Green light, yellow light, red light.
- 21:01Speaker 2: I would.
- 21:02Speaker 6: Still say it's a little early.
- 21:04Speaker 5: You could say yellow to be optimistic, but even if
- 21:07Speaker 5: he plays, I don't think he's a hundred percent with,
- 21:10Speaker 5: you know, soft tissue injury there.
- 21:12Speaker 6: So yeah.
- 21:14Speaker 5: So that's another one where it's a busy intersection. Let's
- 21:18Speaker 5: not get into an accident. It's a yellow light, but
- 21:20Speaker 5: we're going to pull up and stop.
- 21:22Speaker 2: Sounds like a vote for the Cardinals.
- 21:24Speaker 1: For more actionable injury insights and performance. projections go and
- 21:29Speaker 1: check out six score.com you can green light yellow light

- 21:46Speaker 8: The generation stucky here Whether I'm betting on college football, NFL,
- 21:50Speaker 8: or college basketball, one of the tools I rely on

- 22:04Speaker 8: when the market moves to that price. If there's an
- 22:07Speaker 8: underdog that's sitting at two and a half and you
- 22:09Speaker 8: want that three, well, you can just go into the game,
- 22:12Speaker 8: set the notification up, let me know when it moves
- 22:15Speaker 8: or let me know when it goes to plus three.
- 22:18Speaker 8: and then boom. This is a great tool to make

- 22:34Speaker 2: Time to welcome back our special guest picker, back for
- 22:37Speaker 2: the first time in a couple of weeks, the returning,
- 22:39Speaker 2: the handsome, the international man of mystery, Emerson Lazio.
- 22:43Speaker 6: What's up, brother?
- 22:44Speaker 7: What's up, dude?
- 22:45Speaker 2: How are you?
- 22:46Speaker 9: Really good to see you. Really good to see you
- 22:48Speaker 9: as well, Kendra. Yes, I am back from London.
- 22:50Speaker 7: I saw the win over there, the Jaguars win. It
- 22:54Speaker 7: was quite emotional. All within eight seconds, going from Googling
- 22:59Speaker 7: best bridges to jump off of in London to Googling
- 23:02Speaker 7: best steakhouses. And then on my way out, I got
- 23:05Speaker 7: my wife this incredible coaster, Princess Diana. So just an
- 23:10Speaker 7: all-around win for me. And it's really good to be
- 23:15Speaker 7: back with you guys. I've got some incredible pics lined up.
- 23:18Speaker 4: You really, Mike, rabled her with the gift from the airport.
- 23:21Speaker 9: Dude, I know. When you said that shit on Twitter,
- 23:24Speaker 9: I was like, oh, my God. She's absolutely right. And
- 23:27Speaker 9: it's funny.
- 23:28Speaker 7: It's like, dude, my first day there, walking around with
- 23:31Speaker 7: my buddy. And then Meg's like, Meg, who's in Napa
- 23:34Speaker 7: with all her girlfriends at the same time.
- 23:36Speaker 9: So we're eight hours apart.
- 23:37Speaker 3: Two and a half. Yeah.
- 23:39Speaker 6: She's like, hey.
- 23:42Speaker 7: Just if you happen to pass this store, there's this
- 23:44Speaker 7: bag I really like. Buy me this $ 500 bag. And
- 23:47Speaker 7: I'm like, no, I'm not.
- 23:49Speaker 2: That's cheap.
- 23:50Speaker 7: Dude, it actually is cheap, so I'm going to get
- 23:53Speaker 7: it for her for Christmas.
- 23:55Speaker 3: Well, that's wrong because the exchange rate over there, we
- 23:57Speaker 3: get a better, you know what? I'll let you learn
- 24:00Speaker 3: those mistakes on your own.
- 24:01Speaker 4: She's right.
- 24:02Speaker 9: Anywho, it's good to be back. It's a nice stress-free
- 24:04Speaker 9: week because our team's not playing.
- 24:07Speaker 6: It's awesome.
- 24:08Speaker 7: I've decided I'm going to put my ashes in the
- 24:09Speaker 7: new stadium with the 904 Ever Club. Let's get to
- 24:12Speaker 7: some picks here.
- 24:14Speaker 9: BK, are you okay?
- 24:15Speaker 2: I'm fine. I'm fine. You're definitely not fine.
- 24:18Speaker 9: Look at your face.
- 24:19Speaker 1: I'm feeling the weight of 5-0, but let's go. Let's
- 24:23Speaker 1: deliver some ducks.
- 24:24Speaker 9: Yeah, congrats, you guys.
- 24:25Speaker 7: Congrats.
- 24:29Speaker 4: Just pick something already. If you don't like it, you
- 24:33Speaker 4: can just veto it.
- 24:35Speaker 1: Patriots, Bears, Bears minus three. Total sitting at 50 and
- 24:40Speaker 1: a half. The line opened at two and a half.
- 24:43Speaker 1: So the bears quickly got bet up to three. Uh,
- 24:45Speaker 1: we've got two very cover happy coaches here with Ben
- 24:48Speaker 1: Johnson and Mike Rabel tough to fade either one.
- 24:51Speaker 2: Kendra, where do you lean here on Thursday night?
- 24:54Speaker 3: Forgive me for, I have sinned, but I watched both
- 24:58Speaker 3: of these games back from last week, the bears and
- 25:01Speaker 3: the Patriots. And I am nominating the bears. I am
- 25:06Speaker 3: all over them in this game. I think that their offense.
- 25:09Speaker 3: And with the injuries that the Patriots have, I don't
- 25:11Speaker 3: know if you've been hearing the same thing, Emerson, but
- 25:13Speaker 3: allegedly AJ Brown might have a wrist injury. They're now
- 25:16Speaker 3: back to issues with wide receivers because of Romeo Dobbs
- 25:19Speaker 3: being out. I really think that there is just, I
- 25:21Speaker 3: know the Patriots have got their scoring back on track
- 25:24Speaker 3: in the last couple of weeks. but there is no
- 25:26Speaker 3: way that they are going to be able to outscore
- 25:28Speaker 3: a Ben Johnson offense at home where the Bears, outside
- 25:31Speaker 3: of their first game, have really, really performed. I am
- 25:34Speaker 3: all over the Bears here. I know it's a short week,
- 25:37Speaker 3: and I know I'm not supposed to touch the Patriots
- 25:39Speaker 3: at all, but I really, really love the Bears here.
- 25:43Speaker 9: Yeah, I'm with you.
- 25:44Speaker 7: I like Chicago at home. Pat's banged up in the trenches.
- 25:47Speaker 7: Caleb Williams obviously gives the Bears... way more explosive play
- 25:51Speaker 7: juice here. So I'm totally with you. I did not
- 25:54Speaker 7: hear about the A.J. Brown thing, but it kind of
- 25:57Speaker 7: feels to me like if you were going to bet
- 25:58Speaker 7: any time touchdown, I like a Hunter Henry any time
- 26:01Speaker 7: touchdown this game tonight.
- 26:03Speaker 3: I do have Eli Raritan also one and a half receptions.
- 26:06Speaker 3: They've been trying to look at him with the injuries.
- 26:08Speaker 3: I think that it's a great option. And the one
- 26:11Speaker 3: thing that the Bears I don't think do well is
- 26:13Speaker 3: protect well against tight ends. So I think they try
- 26:15Speaker 3: and get him involved early and often as well.
- 26:18Speaker 6: Right on.
- 26:19Speaker 1: Ben Johnson's been getting it done in 16 games against
- 26:22Speaker 1: non-NFC North opponents. Ben Johnson, 13-3 straight up, 13-2-1 against
- 26:29Speaker 1: the spread.
- 26:29Speaker 2: Hell yeah. I'm not using my veto on this.
- 26:32Speaker 1: I bet the Bears money line because I don't really
- 26:34Speaker 1: want to deal with that three, but I like them
- 26:37Speaker 1: enough to bet them, so I am good with it.
- 26:40Speaker 4: Are we getting the two and a half in the contest, Gifford?
- 26:42Speaker 4: I think we might be.
- 26:43Speaker 5: Yeah. Yeah.
- 26:44Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 26:45Speaker 1: Are we? Yes.
- 26:46Speaker 4: Yeah, two and a half in context. Let's do it.
- 26:48Speaker 9: I love it even more. Let's go.
- 26:50Speaker 2: All right. Next. I love it.
- 26:52Speaker 1: And every time we immediately throw a Thursday night game
- 26:56Speaker 1: in there, it hits.
- 26:58Speaker 2: So we are undefeated with that.
- 27:00Speaker 9: That's right.
- 27:02Speaker 7: The Atlanta game a couple weeks ago when we were
- 27:04Speaker 7: all shooting the shed.
- 27:05Speaker 2: Absolutely. All right.
- 27:07Speaker 1: So let's go to France where everything is totally normal.
- 27:10Speaker 6: Fuck.
- 27:12Speaker 1: Yeah. You know what France needs right now to settle
- 27:15Speaker 1: some tension. How about the saints and the Steelers coming
- 27:17Speaker 1: to town? The saints general manager, Mickey Loomis said in
- 27:21Speaker 1: Versailles that the team's plans have not been affected by
- 27:24Speaker 1: the situation. Kendra, you're going to want to lean in
- 27:27Speaker 1: and listen to this one. They arrived on Monday and
- 27:31Speaker 1: the Steelers are flying in today. We love betting the
- 27:36Speaker 1: team that shows up first. I have other nominations I
- 27:40Speaker 1: like more, so I'm not going to officially nominate this one,
- 27:43Speaker 1: but I love me some Saints plus three and a half.
- 27:47Speaker 3: I also do too. I really like the Saints here too.
- 27:51Speaker 3: I think it's a bad spot for the Steelers coming
- 27:53Speaker 3: off of overtime. It's a great spot for the Saints
- 27:55Speaker 3: to kind of rally and get back on track. And
- 27:58Speaker 3: you know that the French are going to be all
- 28:00Speaker 3: over the Saints in this matchup.
- 28:02Speaker 4: You know that they're going to show up and show out.
- 28:04Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 28:05Speaker 4: Yeah, I really like the Saints here.
- 28:08Speaker 7: Just shoving baguettes up their ass. That's all the French do.
- 28:11Speaker 7: They're really good people too, by the way. I went
- 28:13Speaker 7: to Paris last year. It was quite exceptional.
- 28:16Speaker 9: I love that city.
- 28:17Speaker 7: Not right now though. Pittsburgh needed overtime to get past Tampa.
- 28:21Speaker 7: This neutral site international game with the city of Paris
- 28:24Speaker 7: burning around the stadium kind of feels ripe for a
- 28:27Speaker 7: one score finish.
- 28:28Speaker 9: So give me this. What are we getting this number at?
- 28:30Speaker 9: Three and a half, right? Saints three and a half,
- 28:32Speaker 9: plus three and a half.
- 28:34Speaker 4: I don't hate that boys. All right.
- 28:36Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 28:36Speaker 3: Hell yeah.
- 28:36Speaker 7: Give me the saints with the hook in Paris. I
- 28:38Speaker 7: don't love trusting Pittsburgh to separate by more than a
- 28:41Speaker 7: field goal.
- 28:41Speaker 2: Okay. We are two for two.
- 28:43Speaker 1: One of the things I really like about this is
- 28:44Speaker 1: I was looking at the way that where have these
- 28:47Speaker 1: teams been successful? The Steelers have been really good at
- 28:49Speaker 1: home this year. The saints have been really bad at
- 28:52Speaker 1: home this year. Well, we don't have to worry about
- 28:53Speaker 1: either of those situations. The saints are nine and three
- 28:56Speaker 1: against the spread in road or neutral games over the
- 28:59Speaker 1: last 12 covering eight in a row. We got the
- 29:02Speaker 1: saints in there.
- 29:03Speaker 2: We are.
- 29:04Speaker 3: I was going to say, yeah, we, the Saints are
- 29:07Speaker 3: someone who doesn't, we've talked about how they don't play
- 29:09Speaker 3: well at the Superdome. But another thing that they do
- 29:11Speaker 3: well is when they're scoring because of Daniel Carlson's woes,
- 29:14Speaker 3: it's usually touchdowns. So even if they're behind, we know
- 29:17Speaker 3: that they're a second half team and they can climb
- 29:19Speaker 3: right back in.
- 29:20Speaker 4: I really like the Saints.
- 29:21Speaker 9: Hell yeah, dude. Tyler Shuck from playing from behind. He
- 29:24Speaker 9: was like prime Blake Bortles. Fucking love it. Also love
- 29:27Speaker 9: my dog. Tongue punches me.
- 29:29Speaker 1: Yeah, that's right.
- 29:31Speaker 2: Next.
- 29:32Speaker 1: Giants, Texans, Texans minus 10. Our old pal, John Yastrzemski,
- 29:38Speaker 1: loves to call. out a rat line when he sees one. Well,
- 29:43Speaker 1: here it is. Texans minus 10 coming back from London
- 29:48Speaker 1: against the NFC East division leader.
- 29:51Speaker 2: Somebody make it make sense.
- 29:55Speaker 1: I think the Giants probably end up being the most
- 29:57Speaker 1: public dog of the week because of all of those things.
- 30:00Speaker 2: So it kind of, it's too much.
- 30:04Speaker 4: It's too much.
- 30:05Speaker 3: Like it's, it's a weird spot where the Texans look
- 30:08Speaker 3: like a team after beating a divisional opponent who could
- 30:11Speaker 3: really get their season back on track here. That was
- 30:14Speaker 3: a really get up win. And I know that it's
- 30:16Speaker 3: a big number, but the question Mark is, are you
- 30:19Speaker 3: going to get the JJ McCarthy you saw off the
- 30:21Speaker 3: rip last week? Are you going to get the JJ
- 30:23Speaker 3: McCarthy that finished the game? And I think it depends
- 30:26Speaker 3: on how they let him play this week. If they
- 30:29Speaker 3: give him a dumbed down, you know, game plan, I
- 30:32Speaker 3: think that that's probably the better strategy. But if they
- 30:34Speaker 3: go out there and, you know, tell him to boost
- 30:36Speaker 3: his confidence and let him sling it, that's another story.
- 30:39Speaker 3: It's just too much of a where are these teams
- 30:42Speaker 3: at in this exact moment when they're crossing paths for
- 30:44Speaker 3: me to feel comfortable with a decision that I am
- 30:47Speaker 3: definitive about.
- 30:48Speaker 7: Yeah, it's a brutal matchup for New York, and I
- 30:51Speaker 7: really hate laying double digits here.
- 30:54Speaker 9: I'm probably just not going to mess with this game.
- 30:56Speaker 9: I'm still really pissed about last week, too. I fucking
- 31:01Speaker 9: hate the Texans, man.
- 31:03Speaker 4: Me, too. And I hate their fans.
- 31:06Speaker 7: Yeah, dude, their fans were such dickheads on Twitter, and
- 31:09Speaker 7: I wasn't even arguing. I've never hammered the mute button.
- 31:12Speaker 7: So hard than I did throughout this past week.
- 31:15Speaker 3: Oh, I blocked so many people last week.
- 31:17Speaker 9: I'm like, get over it, dude. Like, I'm not bitching.
- 31:19Speaker 9: I'm pointing out things that happened in the game.
- 31:21Speaker 7: Like, calm the fuck down, man.
- 31:23Speaker 9: Like, go touch grass. Don't you have a family to
- 31:25Speaker 9: take care of?
- 31:25Speaker 3: Make an AFC championship game and then circle back to
- 31:28Speaker 3: my ass.
- 31:29Speaker 2: All right.
- 31:30Speaker 6: Thank you. All right.
- 31:31Speaker 2: That's enough. That one's not getting in. Let's go.
- 31:35Speaker 1: Bucks, Panthers. Panthers minus three and a half. total sitting
- 31:39Speaker 1: at 44 and a half. Now this number is starting
- 31:41Speaker 1: to take down a little bit with the news that
- 31:43Speaker 1: Baker Mayfield is most likely going to play in this game,
- 31:47Speaker 1: but I'm pretty confident that contest line is going to
- 31:50Speaker 1: be sitting at a nice crispy three and a.
- 31:52Speaker 2: Half bucks season on the line here. I love betting
- 31:55Speaker 2: the Panthers.
- 31:56Speaker 1: We've made more money betting on the Carolina Panthers on
- 31:58Speaker 1: this podcast than on any other team in the national
- 32:01Speaker 1: football league, but we can't get fat and happy here. Um,
- 32:05Speaker 1: I just think all signs point to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
- 32:08Speaker 1: Jalen Phillips looks like he's going to miss with a
- 32:11Speaker 1: hamstring injury.
- 32:12Speaker 2: Official nomination, Tampa Bay plus three and a half.
- 32:17Speaker 3: No, I really think that they'd be better off with
- 32:20Speaker 3: Jalen playing. I'm going to be honest with you. Baker looks, yeah,
- 32:23Speaker 3: I said that when we were talking to Dr.
- 32:25Speaker 9: Chow.
- 32:26Speaker 3: I really think the way that he's performed the last
- 32:28Speaker 3: couple of weeks has gotten the team and the coaching
- 32:30Speaker 3: staff to buy into him. And Baker's been really irresponsible
- 32:34Speaker 3: so far this season. It's like he got that contract
- 32:36Speaker 3: and he got what he wanted and he just went
- 32:38Speaker 3: out there and said, you know what, I think.
- 32:39Speaker 4: I'm the Baker of last year.
- 32:40Speaker 3: And I really don't think that he is, unfortunately. And
- 32:44Speaker 3: coming back from an injury, I just, it's a weird spot.
- 32:47Speaker 3: I think that the Panthers are a lot better than
- 32:49Speaker 3: people are giving them credit for.
- 32:50Speaker 4: I would like this way more if it was Jalen.
- 32:52Speaker 4: It's a pass from me.
- 32:53Speaker 9: Yeah, I don't know, big man.
- 32:56Speaker 7: Like, Panthers, I really do feel Panthers win by like
- 32:59Speaker 7: a touchdown here. They just feel steadier. They're trending up
- 33:02Speaker 7: with Young and Chuba. Tampa has way too many questions
- 33:07Speaker 7: starting at quarterback. And just backing off what Kendra said here,
- 33:12Speaker 7: like Baker has been one of those guys, and we've
- 33:15Speaker 7: said it on this podcast before, who plays so much
- 33:18Speaker 7: better defensively. When people are like doubting him, when it's
- 33:23Speaker 7: like he has this me against the world mentality.
- 33:26Speaker 9: And yeah, I do think him.
- 33:27Speaker 7: Getting that contract somehow impacted his mentality. Tampa should have
- 33:31Speaker 7: like told him behind the scenes, like, listen, we'll give
- 33:34Speaker 7: you the contract.
- 33:34Speaker 9: We're just going to do it next year.
- 33:35Speaker 7: We're going to move some fucking money around like this
- 33:37Speaker 7: year and just had him playing on like the last
- 33:40Speaker 7: year of his deal. Because that is when Baker has
- 33:43Speaker 7: a throbbing hog and goes out there and puts up
- 33:46Speaker 7: a ridiculous amount of points every week. I hated that
- 33:49Speaker 7: they gave him that contract.
- 33:51Speaker 9: Sean, I'm not.
- 33:51Speaker 4: I was going to.
- 33:53Speaker 3: Say, we also need to read the tea leaves here
- 33:56Speaker 3: because Vita Vea has been mentioned once again as a
- 33:59Speaker 3: trade candidate, and I think that that points to trouble
- 34:03Speaker 3: in paradise.
- 34:05Speaker 7: I'm vetoing that. I like Panthers minus three and a half.
- 34:10Speaker 1: If we're going to play the psychological game with Baker Mayfield,
- 34:13Speaker 1: you don't think he's been hearing that people like Kendra
- 34:15Speaker 1: and others are saying, Hey, Jalen Daniels might actually be
- 34:19Speaker 1: the better quarterback here.
- 34:20Speaker 3: No, because if you watch how they interact on the sidelines,
- 34:23Speaker 3: I don't think that there's even a question in his
- 34:24Speaker 3: mind that this is still his team.
- 34:26Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 34:27Speaker 7: I also don't think that he listens to this podcast,
- 34:31Speaker 7: which is his loss.
- 34:31Speaker 1: I didn't mean specifically Kendra, but yeah.
- 34:38Speaker 2: Uh, let's move on then. My pick has been vetoed.
- 34:40Speaker 1: Colts, Vikings, Vikings minus six and a half total at
- 34:43Speaker 1: 41 and a half.
- 34:45Speaker 2: Is there a GM getting fired boost? Is that a thing?
- 34:49Speaker 1: Vikings looking to stay unbeaten after kicking their feet up
- 34:53Speaker 1: after the bi-week. It feels like this team would be
- 34:56Speaker 1: ripe for a fade. I just don't think I can
- 35:00Speaker 1: put my dollars on Daniel Jones here on the road
- 35:02Speaker 1: in Minnesota with that ferocious pass rush.
- 35:06Speaker 3: I like the Colts, but I will. I already did it,
- 35:09Speaker 3: but I will not argue with you there. I just
- 35:12Speaker 3: very much, if you remember me last year, I like
- 35:14Speaker 3: to chase a firing. And you can't get embarrassed by
- 35:19Speaker 3: the Titans and fire your GM and not show up
- 35:22Speaker 3: in this spot. And that's the thing is that the
- 35:25Speaker 3: Vikings have a really, really good defense, but they don't
- 35:28Speaker 3: score a lot of points. And I think that that
- 35:31Speaker 3: could be the difference maker here. That's a lot of
- 35:33Speaker 3: points for a team who doesn't score much.
- 35:36Speaker 2: Yeah, I do like the under in this game.
- 35:38Speaker 1: I will say I'm not the biggest totals better in
- 35:40Speaker 1: the world, but I don't know. The Vikings offense is
- 35:43Speaker 1: anemic and I don't know how the Colts move the
- 35:47Speaker 1: ball in this.
- 35:48Speaker 9: Yeah, I don't, I don't, I don't either.
- 35:49Speaker 7: I mean, the Vikings, not only with the rest edge,
- 35:51Speaker 7: but like their defense can make Indy just totally one
- 35:54Speaker 7: dimensional around Jonathan Taylor.
- 35:56Speaker 9: I'm going to lay it with Minnesota.
- 35:59Speaker 2: Okay.
- 35:59Speaker 5: All right.
- 36:00Speaker 4: Not an agreement. Let's move on.
- 36:01Speaker 2: All right. That was not an official nomination by you, Kendra.
- 36:04Speaker 2: Is that correct? Okay.
- 36:06Speaker 1: Falcons plus three total sitting at 50 and a half.
- 36:09Speaker 1: I will need to know what this line is in
- 36:11Speaker 1: the contest. Cause we've seen this one kind of wrestle
- 36:13Speaker 1: around since Sunday night, third straight home game for the
- 36:16Speaker 1: Falcons where.
- 36:17Speaker 2: They have been putrid.
- 36:18Speaker 1: They have not been good at Mercedes Benz stadium six
- 36:22Speaker 1: and oh, or the San Francisco 49ers party looking like
- 36:25Speaker 1: an MVP, but their bi-week is on deck and we're
- 36:30Speaker 1: kind of thinking they might take their foot off the
- 36:32Speaker 1: gas a little bit and just get healthy because yeah,
- 36:35Speaker 1: They never are. So Kendra, what do we do here?
- 36:39Speaker 4: I'm going to nominate the Falcons.
- 36:40Speaker 3: You guys, I know that it's yucky and I know
- 36:44Speaker 3: that they had some terrible mishaps on special teams last week,
- 36:48Speaker 3: but if you watch the end of that 49ers game,
- 36:51Speaker 3: they are falling apart. They are at a place where
- 36:53Speaker 3: they have a bi-week next week and you can tell
- 36:55Speaker 3: that they're looking ahead to it. Mike Evans, probably not
- 36:57Speaker 3: going to play this week. I really think that this
- 37:00Speaker 3: is a spot for Atlanta and, And with Michael Penix
- 37:03Speaker 3: being available, healthy, he looked, you know, questionable at times
- 37:06Speaker 3: last week. But a lot of his problems were that
- 37:08Speaker 3: his receivers were dropping the ball. And I know that
- 37:11Speaker 3: there was some miscommunication at times between him and Kyle Pitts.
- 37:14Speaker 3: But I really think that this is going to be
- 37:16Speaker 3: the spot where the 49ers finally just are too unhealthy
- 37:20Speaker 3: to not look forward to a bye week. And once again,
- 37:23Speaker 3: they're on the road going to the East Coast with
- 37:25Speaker 3: a lot of travel already.
- 37:26Speaker 4: Under their belt this season.
- 37:28Speaker 3: I think Atlanta is the play, especially if we're getting
- 37:30Speaker 3: the three and a half.
- 37:31Speaker 7: Just stop ignoring Bichon. They need to get Bichon way
- 37:34Speaker 7: more involved.
- 37:35Speaker 2: They have nine carries in the last game? That should
- 37:37Speaker 2: never happen.
- 37:38Speaker 9: I'm like, what the fuck are you guys doing?
- 37:41Speaker 6: Stop.
- 37:42Speaker 9: Look behind you and give that guy the ball. Atlanta
- 37:46Speaker 9: gets the 49ers on short rest.
- 37:48Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 37:51Speaker 9: Is this number plus three? Is that what we're getting?
- 37:53Speaker 2: Three and a half in the contest. I do realize that.
- 37:57Speaker 2: Our producer did text.
- 37:58Speaker 1: Kendra and I the, uh, the contest picks, but we're
- 38:01Speaker 1: so locked in on the show.
- 38:02Speaker 2: We didn't see it. Yeah, no.
- 38:04Speaker 3: Oh, oh, good. I, um, are you doing the Falcons Kravitz?
- 38:08Speaker 3: I feel like, oh crap.
- 38:09Speaker 9: No, yeah, not me. Cause I'll take, I'll take the,
- 38:11Speaker 9: I'll take the three and a half. I mean, absolutely. Dude,
- 38:14Speaker 9: especially with Debo out Evans Bosa, they're uncertain. So fuck you.
- 38:18Speaker 9: I'm riding with the Falcons.
- 38:19Speaker 1: I have a really hard time. You know, I love
- 38:21Speaker 1: betting the Falcons. I have a hard time fading the
- 38:25Speaker 1: San Francisco 49ers 15, nine and one against the spread
- 38:29Speaker 1: dating back to last year. They've been a, that's 63%
- 38:32Speaker 1: cover eight back to last year. So everybody, I try
- 38:35Speaker 1: and remind people that always point to their injuries. They've
- 38:39Speaker 1: been doing this for over a year. We say this
- 38:41Speaker 1: about San Francisco every week, and yet they're hitting it
- 38:44Speaker 1: over a 60% clip. They overcome injuries as long as
- 38:48Speaker 1: they have Purdy, as long as they have Trent Williams,
- 38:51Speaker 1: as long as they've.
- 38:52Speaker 2: Got one of those dudes on defense. Mustafa has been awesome.
- 38:55Speaker 4: Trent Williams didn't practice yesterday.
- 38:58Speaker 1: That guy never practices on Wednesday. But I do think
- 39:04Speaker 1: it's a sharp look to go Atlanta. It's not my
- 39:06Speaker 1: favorite play, but certainly I think it's a sharp look.
- 39:10Speaker 2: We can add it as a maybe.
- 39:12Speaker 3: If we come to agreement elsewhere, I'm willing to leave
- 39:14Speaker 3: it out. But I think that we can leave it
- 39:17Speaker 3: as a maybe.
- 39:18Speaker 4: I'll take that.
- 39:19Speaker 2: Okay. All right.
- 39:19Speaker 1: Falcons in as a maybe. So as of right now,
- 39:22Speaker 1: to review, we've got a lot of games still to
- 39:24Speaker 1: get to. Bears minus two and a half is in there.
- 39:26Speaker 1: Saints plus three and a half. And tentatively, the Falcons.
- 39:30Speaker 1: Falcons plus three and a half as well. Bengals Ravens
- 39:34Speaker 1: Ravens are now point and a half underdogs in this game.
- 39:38Speaker 1: Total sitting at 51 and a half, a huge game
- 39:40Speaker 1: Ravens four and two Bengals three and two. It feels
- 39:43Speaker 1: like the winner of this game likely ends up overtaking
- 39:45Speaker 1: the Browns at some point as the division pace car is.
- 39:48Speaker 2: But it's all about Lamar.
- 39:50Speaker 1: He was limited on Wednesday, but the odds makers are
- 39:52Speaker 1: telling us they do not think this guy is playing.
- 39:56Speaker 1: The line could still go further in Cincinnati's direction if
- 39:59Speaker 1: he's officially ruled out, but this feels like a weird
- 40:02Speaker 1: time to buy either side.
- 40:04Speaker 4: Agree.
- 40:05Speaker 3: I think it's without the information and what the line
- 40:07Speaker 3: is in the contest. I don't want anything to do
- 40:09Speaker 3: with it. And I feel like the current iteration of
- 40:11Speaker 3: both of these teams, they're just the type of squads
- 40:15Speaker 3: who take turns shooting themselves in the foot. And in
- 40:18Speaker 3: a matchup like this, even though the Bengals are coming
- 40:20Speaker 3: off of rest, I just it's going to be who
- 40:23Speaker 3: can shoot themselves in the foot less.
- 40:25Speaker 4: And I don't want to guess who that's going to be.
- 40:28Speaker 1: The Ravens, by the way, it is a little bit
- 40:31Speaker 1: of a contest freebie because the Bengals are plus two
- 40:33Speaker 1: and a half in the contest.
- 40:37Speaker 4: Their defense sucks still.
- 40:39Speaker 1: I think the better look is to just take the
- 40:41Speaker 1: Bengals to win the division at plus 210.
- 40:44Speaker 2: That's my best bet on the game.
- 40:46Speaker 9: That's good advice.
- 40:46Speaker 7: I mean, when Baltimore's whole outlook hinges on how mobile
- 40:50Speaker 7: Lamar actually is, I mean, yeah, this game, it's.
- 40:52Speaker 9: Like, yeah, I'll pass on it.
- 40:54Speaker 1: All right, let's move to the Well, we won't spend
- 40:58Speaker 1: much time on this one, but, uh, the Browns and
- 41:00Speaker 1: the Titans Titans plus one and a half total at
- 41:03Speaker 1: 37 and a half.
- 41:04Speaker 2: I get an ooh from Emerson on this.
- 41:06Speaker 7: No, it's just, it's like the fucking anus bowl.
- 41:11Speaker 1: This, uh, this is the game that if they don't
- 41:15Speaker 1: show it to me on red zone, I will not
- 41:17Speaker 1: be upset at Scott Hanson. The public is backing the Browns.
- 41:23Speaker 1: So buyer beware on that 72% of the bets on
- 41:26Speaker 1: the Cleveland Browns. Not usually when you want to buy Cleveland,
- 41:29Speaker 1: as I've mentioned in the previous weeks, but Tennessee's off
- 41:33Speaker 1: of a win, not when you want to buy the Titans.
- 41:36Speaker 1: So I'm hands off on this. No interest in betting
- 41:40Speaker 1: this game whatsoever. Not a prop, not a total, not
- 41:42Speaker 1: a side.
- 41:42Speaker 2: No, thank you.
- 41:43Speaker 3: If the Browns were less injured, I would be all
- 41:46Speaker 3: over the Browns here, but they are really dealing with
- 41:48Speaker 3: some shit on the offense and And the other thing
- 41:51Speaker 3: is here, I know that like I'm not joking about
- 41:54Speaker 3: like gun violence by any means, but I almost wonder if,
- 41:57Speaker 3: you know, kind of the way that Robert Sala rallied
- 41:59Speaker 3: with the team is giving them a little bit of
- 42:01Speaker 3: a get up.
- 42:02Speaker 4: I don't.
- 42:03Speaker 3: Don't want anything to do with this either because I
- 42:05Speaker 3: feel like there's maybe like some team camaraderie after a
- 42:08Speaker 3: win and like coming together this week because of unfortunate
- 42:11Speaker 3: circumstances and the fact that Cleveland is just decimated at
- 42:14Speaker 3: wide receiver. I don't want anything to do with that,
- 42:17Speaker 3: especially because not only is there like receiver woes, but
- 42:20Speaker 3: if Quinn Sean Judkins isn't 100%, what.
- 42:22Speaker 4: Is Deshaun going to do other than run around like
- 42:24Speaker 4: an idiot?
- 42:24Speaker 7: I don't know. I'm not touching this game, but if
- 42:27Speaker 7: I had to, I think I would actually take the
- 42:30Speaker 7: Titans on the money line here. I would take a
- 42:34Speaker 7: home dog because Cleveland's offense really has given me no
- 42:36Speaker 7: reason to lay points on the road. This kind of
- 42:39Speaker 7: feels like one of those 20 to 17 type games.
- 42:42Speaker 4: I think you're going to be lucky to see 20
- 42:44Speaker 4: points in this game.
- 42:45Speaker 9: I totally agree with you. I totally agree with you.
- 42:48Speaker 1: I like the score projection. The total is 37 and
- 42:51Speaker 1: a half. So you might be on the money with that.
- 42:54Speaker 8: I know.
- 42:55Speaker 2: Not in there.
- 42:55Speaker 1: Dolphins jets in New York jets laying four and a half.
- 43:02Speaker 1: Do you trust the jets enough to lay four and
- 43:04Speaker 1: a half in division? The dolphins are off of a buy.
- 43:08Speaker 1: Not sure if that's going to help them or not.
- 43:09Speaker 1: This team has been outscored by 62 points on the season.
- 43:13Speaker 1: They have yet to hold a lead at some point.
- 43:18Speaker 2: They're going to win a game, but is it here Kendra?
- 43:22Speaker 3: I don't think they win this game, but I do
- 43:23Speaker 3: think they could cover this game, but it's just too
- 43:25Speaker 3: yucky for me to have an opinion. The Dolphins are
- 43:30Speaker 3: the team I think that I am the least interested in,
- 43:33Speaker 3: and I just don't care enough.
- 43:36Speaker 7: Miami can kind of run it and keep it ugly,
- 43:39Speaker 7: and the Jets have obviously shown they can't pull away
- 43:44Speaker 7: from anybody. So if I had to do anything, I
- 43:47Speaker 7: would take the points in the game. I don't want
- 43:49Speaker 7: to watch, but this is another one where I'm like, Yeah,
- 43:52Speaker 7: it's fine. I don't care if you don't show, show
- 43:54Speaker 7: this to me on red zone. Just like you said, BK.
- 43:59Speaker 1: Yeah, this is, uh, yeah, here's my problem with the
- 44:02Speaker 1: dolphins other than everything is that they're not, they're not
- 44:05Speaker 1: your average underdog. You know, this team is next level
- 44:10Speaker 1: bad and I get the appeal on a divisional dog
- 44:14Speaker 1: plus four and a half. And I, and the dolphins
- 44:16Speaker 1: are going to be bettable. That's they've covered spreads already
- 44:19Speaker 1: this year. I need north of a touchdown to think
- 44:23Speaker 1: the dolphins are good value. The jets are a real
- 44:26Speaker 1: football team. The dolphins are not the jets have the
- 44:30Speaker 1: ability to pull away late. Even if this game is
- 44:33Speaker 1: close midway through the fourth quarter, I just, I can't
- 44:38Speaker 1: with all these other games at our disposal, I can't
- 44:42Speaker 1: endorse betting on the Miami dolphins at a four and
- 44:46Speaker 1: a half on the road against the team.
- 44:48Speaker 2: That can get after the passer.
- 44:51Speaker 9: The Dolphins don't want to win a game.
- 44:54Speaker 7: They want to have that first pick in the draft.
- 44:56Speaker 7: They're not interested in winning a game, much like the
- 44:59Speaker 7: Jags were tanking for Trevor. We're going to say the
- 45:02Speaker 7: Dolphins are menstruating for Manning.
- 45:05Speaker 9: That's what they want.
- 45:06Speaker 7: That's who they want, or whoever the best quarterback is
- 45:08Speaker 7: going to be in the draft.
- 45:11Speaker 4: I don't think that that makes any sense, because if that.
- 45:14Speaker 8: Were the case.
- 45:14Speaker 9: I just wanted alliteration.
- 45:15Speaker 4: Wouldn't they be ovulating?
- 45:18Speaker 5: Just.
- 45:19Speaker 9: Yeah, I just wanted alliteration there.
- 45:21Speaker 7: I didn't, you know, and menstruation came to mind because
- 45:24Speaker 7: my wife's on her period.
- 45:26Speaker 2: Got you.
- 45:30Speaker 7: I've been taking the dogs for long fucking walks.
- 45:33Speaker 4: That was me last week. I think that I was
- 45:34Speaker 4: so mean to you.
- 45:35Speaker 3: Guys at one point last week on this show, because
- 45:37Speaker 3: I was like, I'm sorry, you guys, I'm just, I'm
- 45:39Speaker 3: losing it.
- 45:39Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 45:40Speaker 9: Last time we were together, you were in a really
- 45:42Speaker 9: bad mood.
- 45:43Speaker 7: And I thought that maybe that may be the case,
- 45:45Speaker 7: but you know, I wasn't going to say it.
- 45:49Speaker 4: Okay.
- 45:50Speaker 3: It's like pain wise to being three centimeters dilated during birth.
- 45:53Speaker 4: You got to cut me some slack.
- 45:55Speaker 2: Oh, well, Find another podcast on action that's menstruating.
- 45:59Speaker 6: There you go.
- 46:01Speaker 2: I fucking love us.
- 46:03Speaker 1: Speaking of the color red, the Arizona Cardinals are hosting
- 46:07Speaker 1: the Denver Broncos as four and a half point underdogs
- 46:10Speaker 1: total sitting at 43 and a half. Cardinals off of
- 46:13Speaker 1: the win of the year. Last second update or upset
- 46:18Speaker 1: of the LA Rams. Broncos 10 days to prep for
- 46:20Speaker 1: this one after grabbing a win last Thursday.
- 46:23Speaker 2: Is it time to... Double back on the Redbirds, Kendra.
- 46:29Speaker 3: You're getting the Broncos away from Denver. And you're getting
- 46:33Speaker 3: the Cardinals off of a win where I think that
- 46:35Speaker 3: they can carry some momentum. Both of these teams on
- 46:37Speaker 3: defense are dealing with some injuries. I meant to ask Dr.
- 46:40Speaker 3: Chow about Jeremiah Love and his potential to maybe play
- 46:43Speaker 3: in this game or impact this game.
- 46:45Speaker 4: I'm sure about that. But I just, it's more so.
- 46:49Speaker 3: Bo Nix is having some serious problems and I've been
- 46:51Speaker 3: anti Bo Nix for his entire career, but it looks
- 46:54Speaker 3: like there is now some chatter around the organization about how,
- 46:57Speaker 3: you know, dysfunctional the way that they're operating this offense
- 47:01Speaker 3: might be. I think it's a decent spot for the Cardinals.
- 47:03Speaker 3: Do I think they win this game? Probably not, but
- 47:05Speaker 3: by a field goal, I'll take it.
- 47:06Speaker 4: Hmm.
- 47:07Speaker 9: I don't really know here.
- 47:10Speaker 7: I mean, Arizona just won a game by kicking six
- 47:13Speaker 7: field goals.
- 47:14Speaker 4: You can totally veto. There's other things that I've got
- 47:18Speaker 4: to offer.
- 47:18Speaker 6: No, no, no.
- 47:19Speaker 9: I like some other games down the board. I'm just
- 47:21Speaker 9: looking at how nasty this is.
- 47:24Speaker 7: I hate Denver on the road, too.
- 47:27Speaker 4: Can I give out?
- 47:29Speaker 1: Let me just get this out of the way. I'm
- 47:32Speaker 1: going to use my veto on this.
- 47:33Speaker 2: That's fine.
- 47:34Speaker 4: Can I give out a prop?
- 47:36Speaker 2: Yeah, sure.
- 47:37Speaker 4: Please do.
- 47:39Speaker 3: Longest completion under 32 and a half yards feels like
- 47:44Speaker 3: a baller option for me considering the kid can't throw
- 47:47Speaker 3: down the damn field.
- 47:48Speaker 9: Dude, he's bad.
- 47:51Speaker 7: And then like Sean Payton taking over the office of
- 47:56Speaker 7: like play calling duties.
- 47:57Speaker 4: Trouble in paradise, baby.
- 47:58Speaker 9: I'm just like, dude, this team's a mess.
- 48:02Speaker 6: All right.
- 48:03Speaker 2: The fact that they blame, they're like, oh, this is
- 48:05Speaker 2: all Davis Webb.
- 48:06Speaker 6: Like, I don't think so.
- 48:07Speaker 1: No, I don't think he's the problem here. Arizona's defense
- 48:12Speaker 1: is the issue. They stepped up big last week against
- 48:14Speaker 1: the LA Rams. They've allowed nearly 30 points per game.
- 48:18Speaker 1: If there's a get right spot for this putrid offense
- 48:22Speaker 1: in Denver, this is, this is it.
- 48:24Speaker 2: So that's the reason I vetoed it.
- 48:26Speaker 1: Let's go to the Packers and the lions lions minus
- 48:29Speaker 1: three total sky high 54 and a half. I am
- 48:33Speaker 1: wearing for the podcast viewers. I bought a lion's shirt
- 48:37Speaker 1: at the local sports shop just for this moment right here.
- 48:40Speaker 9: It looks like a shirt you got for free. Like
- 48:43Speaker 9: you're not supposed to wear stuff that looks like it's free.
- 48:49Speaker 2: I will not tell you that it was $ 40. Oh
- 48:50Speaker 2: my God. You're an idiot.
- 48:55Speaker 9: You look horrible.
- 48:58Speaker 2: Well, hopefully this bet pays for it.
- 49:01Speaker 1: Nice three-game win streak from the Packers.
- 49:03Speaker 2: Lions off the bye.
- 49:05Speaker 1: A loss would really set the Lions back in a
- 49:07Speaker 1: tight divisional race. Official nomination on Jared Goff, Dan Campbell
- 49:12Speaker 1: and company, extended prep duo, ATS Wizards.
- 49:15Speaker 2: Give me the Lions minus three.
- 49:18Speaker 3: What's the contest line for this? Because I think that
- 49:20Speaker 3: that makes a difference.
- 49:22Speaker 2: Two and a half.
- 49:23Speaker 4: The two and a half or three and a half.
- 49:24Speaker 2: Two and a half.
- 49:27Speaker 3: I would love to have a full-blown opinion here. I
- 49:30Speaker 3: just am waiting to figure out the identity of both
- 49:32Speaker 3: of these teams. I'm not going to veto you because
- 49:35Speaker 3: I don't have an opinion. But it's hard to tell
- 49:38Speaker 3: who the Packers are considering how they started. And the
- 49:41Speaker 3: Lions certainly have some issues on defense. Getting Brian Branch
- 49:44Speaker 3: back might be a difference maker for them coming off
- 49:48Speaker 3: the bye, whatever. But I agree with the divisional thing.
- 49:51Speaker 3: Don't love it or hate it enough.
- 49:52Speaker 4: I'll let you cook. I'm not going to ruin your
- 49:55Speaker 4: day in your T-shirt.
- 49:58Speaker 2: I did buy a shirt for this, so it really
- 50:00Speaker 2: sucked that this got muted.
- 50:01Speaker 7: Dude, the fact that you spent $ 40, like, I wish
- 50:04Speaker 7: I could reach for Zoom right now and centrally strangle you.
- 50:07Speaker 1: Okay, I live in Orlando, Florida. How am I going
- 50:10Speaker 1: to get a Lions shirt for less than 40 bucks?
- 50:13Speaker 4: Why would you buy a $ 40 shirt for a bit?
- 50:16Speaker 7: Just like buy a white shirt and put a marker
- 50:18Speaker 7: and like write Lions.
- 50:20Speaker 4: You could have just printed it out and taped it
- 50:22Speaker 4: to yourself.
- 50:23Speaker 1: I'm not trying to look like I'm in the special classes, guys.
- 50:27Speaker 2: I mean, this is a little depressed. You don't like
- 50:30Speaker 2: the shirt.
- 50:31Speaker 4: I'm going to bedazzle you a Lions t-shirt now.
- 50:35Speaker 2: It's like a perfect medium, too. I don't know what
- 50:37Speaker 2: the problem is.
- 50:37Speaker 7: Yeah, I was going to say it fits nice and snug,
- 50:39Speaker 7: but I'm going to give you credit.
- 50:41Speaker 9: Maybe you've been working out. I have no idea.
- 50:43Speaker 7: Is Jordan Love banged up? Is his back still broken
- 50:46Speaker 7: or something?
- 50:47Speaker 4: He was limited in practice.
- 50:49Speaker 9: And Jacob should be coming back, correct?
- 50:53Speaker 2: He is on the way back, but it's not 100% yet.
- 50:56Speaker 7: All right, so Packers defense vulnerable against the run. So
- 51:02Speaker 7: just feed Jameer Gibbs. And I like this pick by you, PK.
- 51:07Speaker 4: Fuck it, the Lions.
- 51:09Speaker 2: Sad cats.
- 51:10Speaker 4: We can't have our sad cats this week. We need
- 51:12Speaker 4: a sad cat. Fuck it, sad cats.
- 51:14Speaker 9: Yeah, let's go.
- 51:15Speaker 1: I want you guys to know that when you're sitting
- 51:18Speaker 1: back and watching these games on Sunday, I'm going to
- 51:21Speaker 1: be wearing this shirt again.
- 51:23Speaker 4: You better.
- 51:23Speaker 7: And you better not be wearing pants when you're wearing
- 51:25Speaker 7: that shirt. That's the vision I want.
- 51:28Speaker 4: He has a child.
- 51:29Speaker 9: Well, put the child away. Put it to bed or something.
- 51:32Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 51:33Speaker 9: Send it out.
- 51:35Speaker 2: Yeah, he's often pantsless too. Six-year-olds are great. Hell yeah, kid.
- 51:38Speaker 6: Rams Raiders.
- 51:39Speaker 1: Raiders plus four and a half total at 48 and
- 51:42Speaker 1: a half. The Rams hit a new low last week.
- 51:46Speaker 1: I don't know if they can recover from this. I mean,
- 51:48Speaker 1: you get a Raiders team that's been playing pretty well.
- 51:51Speaker 1: They've dropped three in a row. Still covered for us
- 51:54Speaker 1: last week against the Buffalo Bills.
- 51:56Speaker 4: Crazy fashion. I think they do it again.
- 51:59Speaker 2: I like the Raiders again. No, we can't do this.
- 52:05Speaker 4: Yeah, Kravitz, they saved our ass last week by a miracle.
- 52:09Speaker 3: We cannot sweat that out. We need to just let
- 52:12Speaker 3: this game be what it is. Let these we just
- 52:15Speaker 3: this is our we're going to enjoy this and not
- 52:17Speaker 3: touch it of the week. No, I can't have a
- 52:20Speaker 3: sweat like that again. That was too much for me.
- 52:23Speaker 3: You guys already saw me hitting my inhaler today. I
- 52:25Speaker 3: can't know if you're no.
- 52:28Speaker 9: So we have this at Raiders plus four and a half.
- 52:32Speaker 2: Should be. Yes, we do. Raiders plus four and a half. Yeah,
- 52:36Speaker 2: I'm in.
- 52:37Speaker 3: I'm in.
- 52:37Speaker 9: Veto. Rams should win, but Raiders keep this thing within
- 52:42Speaker 9: a field goal.
- 52:43Speaker 2: Veto.
- 52:43Speaker 1: Give me Vegas.
- 52:44Speaker 7: Give me Vegas plus the points in a division-feeling spot.
- 52:48Speaker 1: All right, so Emerson and I will be enjoying the
- 52:50Speaker 1: winnings of the Las Vegas Raiders again.
- 52:53Speaker 2: Kendra is going to sit this one out.
- 52:54Speaker 4: You do that.
- 52:55Speaker 1: Let's go to, oh, Sunday night football.
- 53:00Speaker 7: I know we don't include this. This would be my pick.
- 53:04Speaker 7: This would be my pick of the week here.
- 53:05Speaker 9: Chiefs plus two and a half.
- 53:07Speaker 2: Well, you're getting the format wrong. We don't include.
- 53:09Speaker 9: I know that.
- 53:10Speaker 5: I know.
- 53:11Speaker 9: But I'm telling you if it was included.
- 53:13Speaker 2: Okay.
- 53:14Speaker 9: Other than that.
- 53:14Speaker 6: I'm telling you it is.
- 53:16Speaker 2: It is included. Oh, shit. You can throw this in there.
- 53:19Speaker 6: Yeah. Okay.
- 53:20Speaker 2: Sorry, dude.
- 53:21Speaker 9: I'm distracted by that ugly fucking shirt you're wearing.
- 53:25Speaker 1: Seahawks minus two and a half total of 42 and
- 53:28Speaker 1: a half.
- 53:28Speaker 2: This is the Kenneth Walker game. Kendra.
- 53:31Speaker 1: I want to throw this out there. First and foremost,
- 53:33Speaker 1: we have been toying with this idea of betting two
- 53:37Speaker 1: touchdown games. This is the one Kenneth Walker plus four
- 53:43Speaker 1: 52 touchdowns in this game.
- 53:46Speaker 4: I will say one of the Seahawks.
- 53:48Speaker 3: One of the Seahawks issues has been their lack of
- 53:50Speaker 3: run game. Do we think that Charbonnet is coming back
- 53:53Speaker 3: this week? He was a full participant this week.
- 53:57Speaker 2: Yeah. I did bet the chiefs already.
- 53:59Speaker 1: I understand the, the sharp action probably ends up on
- 54:04Speaker 1: the Seahawks in a bounce back here, but Sam Darnold.
- 54:07Speaker 2: Does not look right to me.
- 54:09Speaker 1: And I get my homes as a short dog with
- 54:12Speaker 1: spec Mola teeing off on a turnover prone quarterback.
- 54:16Speaker 2: No, thank you. I like the chiefs. I like Kenneth
- 54:18Speaker 2: Walker to go off.
- 54:19Speaker 7: I will happily take the points with an unbeaten chiefs
- 54:22Speaker 7: team and Patrick Mahomes as a dog, especially in prime time,
- 54:25Speaker 7: feed it to me.
- 54:27Speaker 4: Okay.
- 54:27Speaker 2: Spoon feed it. So wait, is that in?
- 54:31Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, sure.
- 54:31Speaker 9: I can.
- 54:32Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 54:32Speaker 9: I think that's five.
- 54:33Speaker 4: And we can't veto Emerson.
- 54:35Speaker 9: So yeah, don't fucking touch me.
- 54:38Speaker 2: Well, guys, we're going to save Monday night. Okay.
- 54:42Speaker 4: Hey, can I just say one thing ever?
- 54:45Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 54:45Speaker 7: Can I say one thing real quick? My peg of
- 54:47Speaker 7: the week would be Eagles plus four and a half.
- 54:50Speaker 9: Okay. I know that you guys are going to talk
- 54:52Speaker 9: about on Monday.
- 54:52Speaker 3: Agree.
- 54:53Speaker 9: But that is my peg of the week.
- 54:56Speaker 1: Week.
- 54:56Speaker 4: You're going to get up for Jalen for sure.
- 54:58Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 54:58Speaker 2: Yeah. I like that one. Uh, we were all going
- 55:02Speaker 2: to end up on the Eagles plus four.
- 55:04Speaker 6: Okay.
- 55:04Speaker 1: So let's finalize these picks. Then we have the Chicago bears.
- 55:10Speaker 1: Thursday night football minus two and a half against the
- 55:12Speaker 1: pats saints in France plus three and a half against
- 55:16Speaker 1: the Steelers. We get the Falcons plus three and a
- 55:19Speaker 1: half against the San Francisco 49ers, the lions and minus
- 55:24Speaker 1: two and a half ugly shirt and all the pack
- 55:28Speaker 1: and the Kansas city chiefs plus two and a half
- 55:30Speaker 1: on Sunday night football, all presented by draft Kings where
- 55:33Speaker 1: the crown is yours.
- 55:35Speaker 2: Emerson. Great job as always, my friend.
- 55:37Speaker 9: Hey, love you guys.
- 55:39Speaker 7: It's always great talking to you. Always great texting with Gifford.
- 55:43Speaker 7: Most positive guy I know. And my dog keeps bugging
- 55:46Speaker 7: the shit out of me. I think she wants lunch.
- 55:48Speaker 7: So lunch.
- 55:49Speaker 9: We'll be giving to her right now. I love you both.
- 55:52Speaker 3: Can we get our plots at the stadium next to
- 55:55Speaker 3: each other?
- 55:55Speaker 4: Yeah, dude.
- 55:58Speaker 7: Absolutely.
- 55:58Speaker 9: That's sick.
- 55:59Speaker 7: Just imagine our dead, burnt bodies that are in ashes
- 56:04Speaker 7: now and a wall inside the stadium.
- 56:06Speaker 3: Do you think they can still piss us off in
- 56:08Speaker 3: the afterlife?
- 56:10Speaker 9: Oh, a thousand percent. They're going to continue to let
- 56:12Speaker 9: us down.
- 56:13Speaker 1: I'm going to get my ashes split into 32. I'm
- 56:15Speaker 1: going to go to every team in the NFL.
- 56:17Speaker 9: Yeah, that's because you're a fraud and you're a coward.
- 56:20Speaker 7: You can just pick.
- 56:21Speaker 2: That's going to do it for us here on the favorites.
- 56:23Speaker 1: We'll return on Monday as we recap week seven of
- 56:26Speaker 1: the NFL and a preview of Cowboys Eagles. You can
- 56:29Speaker 1: catch it right here on the Action Network YouTube page
- 56:32Speaker 1: and wherever you download your favorite podcast.
