- 1:06Speaker 6: It Hell's life pretty good. Actually, I'm in good spirits.
- 1:09Speaker 6: As I said, the Olympics are on. I also witnessed
- 1:12Speaker 6: Jace absolutely smash a whole heap of donuts and chips
- 1:15Speaker 6: before the show, so that was quite entertaining, and now
- 1:17Speaker 6: I'm feeling very positive hitting into today's huge show.
- 1:20Speaker 4: It's interesting.
- 1:21Speaker 3: Actually we just finished doing the podcast Outrade, didn't we, Fellas,
- 1:24Speaker 3: and I'm still recoiling from the unami of lies that.
- 1:28Speaker 4: Keysy told in that particular podcast.
- 1:31Speaker 3: But go and check that out because it's an absolute
- 1:33Speaker 3: shocker that's out. Yeah, I know, but when it comes out,
- 1:38Speaker 3: it is a big show. We will be talking to
- 1:40Speaker 3: a legend of Triflin. I'm going to say, name a name. Oh, yes,
- 1:45Speaker 3: who you think we're going to be talking to about
- 1:46Speaker 3: it on three four right? No, not you the listeners.
- 1:51Speaker 3: And we've got so much going on, we've just got
- 1:54Speaker 3: to get stuck into it straight away.
- 1:56Speaker 4: Kick off with a bit of sheet hard the.
- 1:58Speaker 2: Whole actually big shows with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and Kizy.
- 2:03Speaker 3: Yes, indeed, faster the people there on the radio home
- 2:05Speaker 3: Aky big show this Thursday afternoon, twelve minutes fast, four o'clock.
- 2:10Speaker 3: Let's have a little chit chat about what happened in
- 2:12Speaker 3: the Olympics over the past day, fellows. Some exciting stuff
- 2:17Speaker 3: going on there is there.
- 2:19Speaker 5: Yeah, I got to tell you I'm really struggling with
- 2:21Speaker 5: having the Sky apps. It's absolutely ruining me not being
- 2:25Speaker 5: able to flick through the channel. I'm loving it. I
- 2:28Speaker 5: mean I don't have bad app. I just know you've
- 2:31Speaker 5: got remote. Yeah.
- 2:32Speaker 6: Yes, it is annoying because you have to go back
- 2:34Speaker 6: out and then up to the one you want and
- 2:36Speaker 6: then click into it, click into it again.
- 2:38Speaker 5: And then also do you want to go live or
- 2:39Speaker 5: from the start. That's right, thats what happened.
- 2:42Speaker 6: Whereas what you're doing Jason sitting there on the couch,
- 2:45Speaker 6: hand down your track, he's flicking through.
- 2:46Speaker 5: The channels exactly. He's just watching one for Thirsty one
- 2:49Speaker 5: hand on correct, that's right. Yeah, yeah, but that is
- 2:52Speaker 5: the way to watch the Olympics total thirty seconds at
- 2:55Speaker 5: a time.
- 2:55Speaker 6: I must say last night was the first time and
- 2:57Speaker 6: it's been bloody exciting, especially with the black friend. Seven's
- 3:00Speaker 6: getting our middle Telly, you know, off to a good start.
- 3:03Speaker 6: Last night was the triathlon. There's something about the Olympic
- 3:06Speaker 6: triathon that is so exciting and going from the women's
- 3:09Speaker 6: individual to where to be honest, New Zealand didn't really
- 3:11Speaker 6: have much of a showing there, but it was still
- 3:13Speaker 6: just so exciting to watch and then going into Hayden
- 3:16Speaker 6: Wilds one.
- 3:16Speaker 5: Which was rescheduled. It's quite a few of the women
- 3:18Speaker 5: were around in corners, weren't they, and eating ship.
- 3:21Speaker 6: Yeah, especially on the bike. I shouldn't laugh at on
- 3:23Speaker 6: the bikes. Yeah, and it's heartbreaking to see, but it
- 3:25Speaker 6: was a.
- 3:26Speaker 3: Little bit moist for them as opposed to the men
- 3:28Speaker 3: that dried up and the cars at well, I mean, easy,
- 3:33Speaker 3: come on, man, rained.
- 3:35Speaker 6: Last I was gonna say last night was the most
- 3:37Speaker 6: enjoyable sort of chunk of watching the Olympic.
- 3:40Speaker 5: Yes, yes, cool man.
- 3:41Speaker 3: I've been really getting into the rolling an incident, even
- 3:44Speaker 3: got a very special guest read the triathlon coming on
- 3:46Speaker 3: later on the show.
- 3:47Speaker 4: Yeah, so make sure you stay.
- 3:48Speaker 5: The reason why we're keeping that a secret, no idea. No,
- 3:51Speaker 5: it's also not later on it's up next gold medal winning.
- 3:57Speaker 5: What else have you been enjoying, mate, I've been loving
- 4:00Speaker 5: the're rowing. Oh yes, and we're.
- 4:01Speaker 3: Doing pretty good there too, and we've got some real
- 4:03Speaker 3: medal prospects.
- 4:04Speaker 4: It's speaking of metal prospects.
- 4:06Speaker 3: Let's have a look at the middle table right now.
- 4:08Speaker 5: Oh, the middle Telly, that's good. That's a good idea.
- 4:13Speaker 4: The big show middle Telly update.
- 4:18Speaker 6: Well, obviously we've got one more medal now, so New
- 4:22Speaker 6: Zealand one gold, yeah, one silver, yes, courtesy of Hayden
- 4:28Speaker 6: wild zero bronze.
- 4:33Speaker 5: Fourth because Erica Fair they've got a fourth in the swimming.
- 4:35Speaker 6: Yeah, so they we're away and laughing actually, And the
- 4:39Speaker 6: Olympic medals per capita, we've moved up with another medal.
- 4:43Speaker 6: We've now moved up to seventh overall medals per capita.
- 4:46Speaker 6: Pretty good gold medals per capita. Yeah, that's not affected
- 4:51Speaker 6: because we've got a silver.
- 4:52Speaker 5: Okay, then now can you just tell me I've got
- 4:54Speaker 5: a couple of questions about other countries that have got
- 4:56Speaker 5: roughly the same size population as US. Can you tell
- 4:59Speaker 5: me how iral And.
- 5:00Speaker 6: Is doing Ireland? Is we're seventh or eighth? I've also
- 5:03Speaker 6: won two minutes in them, and we do actually have
- 5:06Speaker 6: a similar similar population to them. But I believe Ireland.
- 5:10Speaker 6: I don't think they've got a gold. I think they
- 5:11Speaker 6: might have got two Silver's.
- 5:13Speaker 7: Interesting, that's very interesting, really interesting stuff, good stuff, And
- 5:19Speaker 7: it was it was nice in the old triathon seeing
- 5:22Speaker 7: them going for a swim in the Seine.
- 5:24Speaker 5: Yeah, Sin, it's the sin.
- 5:26Speaker 3: It's a sign isn't it. Well, look we'll ask hey,
- 5:31Speaker 3: I'm sure we speak.
- 5:31Speaker 5: To him next day. He's never been to the Olympics
- 5:33Speaker 5: in Paris.
- 5:34Speaker 3: Well, oh no, that's at four forty. I was wondering
- 5:37Speaker 3: who said we were talking to him?
- 5:38Speaker 5: Next? It was Keysy, It was obviously Mogi. It was
- 5:43Speaker 5: you Ja'.
- 5:44Speaker 2: Soundgarden, Hodarchy Big Show with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and Kesey.
- 5:50Speaker 4: It exists there on the radio.
- 5:52Speaker 3: Hold a Key Big show this Thursday afternoon, twenty three
- 5:55Speaker 3: minutes past four o'clock.
- 5:57Speaker 6: He fell as ahead. People aren't aware of this. I've
- 6:01Speaker 6: recently started getting trying to get into acting man, and
- 6:05Speaker 6: Jason has been a huge house in this department. He's
- 6:07Speaker 6: been getting me some gigs around the joint. Things are
- 6:09Speaker 6: starting to pick up. I've had a couple of auditions,
- 6:11Speaker 6: had my second every one today. In fact, yeah, I
- 6:15Speaker 6: obviously can't say what it was for. You know what
- 6:18Speaker 6: brands are involved, what I had to do, But for
- 6:20Speaker 6: this particular audition, it did involve me singing.
- 6:23Speaker 4: Oh oh no, why would they do that to you?
- 6:26Speaker 5: What do you mean? I mean you saw the scrip
- 6:29Speaker 5: before you send it on?
- 6:30Speaker 4: Yeah, I should have thought about that.
- 6:32Speaker 5: But anyway, Yeah, carry on, are you not reading them
- 6:34Speaker 5: before you send them?
- 6:35Speaker 4: I'm just getting you whatever I can.
- 6:36Speaker 5: Oh, right, okay, And I just wanted to run this
- 6:38Speaker 5: past year.
- 6:40Speaker 6: When I walked out after the audition, yeah, I laughed
- 6:43Speaker 6: out loud and said, well I'm not getting that one.
- 6:46Speaker 6: I said it out loud to no one, Ye, with
- 6:48Speaker 6: a big ground on my face. Have you guys ever
- 6:50Speaker 6: done that?
- 6:53Speaker 5: Many times? Right?
- 6:54Speaker 4: And many genuinely many times.
- 6:57Speaker 5: I was in the greatest advert ever in made in
- 7:00Speaker 5: New Zealand, several of them. One of them was the
- 7:02Speaker 5: Toyota Highlux ad with the monkey in the back seat. Yes,
- 7:07Speaker 5: did you play the monkey? And after I auditioned for that,
- 7:11Speaker 5: I went out, jumped in my car, called my agent
- 7:14Speaker 5: and told him to stop putting me forward for commercials
- 7:18Speaker 5: because they just make me feel like an absolute loser
- 7:21Speaker 5: and I'm never doing any of them anymore because i
- 7:24Speaker 5: just hate myself. Yes, And then I booked it. They
- 7:27Speaker 5: called me and he goes and then a few days like, oh,
- 7:30Speaker 5: you've got a call back, and so they just they
- 7:31Speaker 5: just would have another laugh at me. Yeah, take the
- 7:34Speaker 5: piss out of me? And were you singing in that instance?
- 7:36Speaker 4: Not without a word of a lie. Kesy. I was
- 7:39Speaker 4: the same mogy.
- 7:40Speaker 3: I mean, I mean, if you don't leave particularly ad
- 7:42Speaker 3: auditionsually humiliated, you're not doing your job right. And I
- 7:47Speaker 3: would always leave, And it was the ones that were
- 7:50Speaker 3: the worst where I felt particularly humiliated and furious that
- 7:54Speaker 3: I'd even tried to do it. That I often got
- 7:57Speaker 3: the job and that and that is the absolute truth.
- 8:00Speaker 3: Like I go, one of the biggest jobs I ever got.
- 8:03Speaker 3: I went, There's not a crapload chance in hell that
- 8:06Speaker 3: I'm going to get that part.
- 8:07Speaker 4: I don't even know why my agent put me up
- 8:09Speaker 4: for it. And I got the part right because and
- 8:12Speaker 4: I acted with Ryan Godsling.
- 8:14Speaker 6: Because I feel like, if we could just bring this
- 8:16Speaker 6: back to me ja, so if that's all good, we'll
- 8:18Speaker 6: get back to you for the rest of the show.
- 8:20Speaker 5: I did leave there.
- 8:21Speaker 6: And I was like, what what was that. I couldn't
- 8:26Speaker 6: do any of that stuff. I'd practice it in my
- 8:28Speaker 6: head and I could sing the bits. But then I
- 8:30Speaker 6: got there and I didn't realize the person filming with
- 8:32Speaker 6: me was also acting as well, and she was like, Okay,
- 8:36Speaker 6: so I'm gonna go blah blah blah. Then it'll be
- 8:37Speaker 6: your turn to do your thing, and I was like, okay,
- 8:40Speaker 6: all of a sudden and there was like props, names
- 8:42Speaker 6: of props written up on the walls. Is like look
- 8:43Speaker 6: over here for this, look over there for that. Yes,
- 8:47Speaker 6: And then I did the whole thing, did a bit
- 8:48Speaker 6: of a song and dance and then left. I felt stupid.
- 8:52Speaker 6: And then the funniest part was when I arrived actually
- 8:55Speaker 6: and I was sitting in the waiting room. It was
- 8:56Speaker 6: like a cliche. There was an older guy there talking
- 8:59Speaker 6: about his mates are all over in La living trying
- 9:01Speaker 6: to make it as actors, and they were just having
- 9:04Speaker 6: classic actors chats that you'd see in like an episode
- 9:06Speaker 6: of Extras or something, you.
- 9:08Speaker 5: Mean, like bullshit base. It was so it was they
- 9:10Speaker 5: were lovely.
- 9:11Speaker 6: It was a total bs and I was just like,
- 9:13Speaker 6: is this is this the world I'm getting into?
- 9:15Speaker 5: You know, you only need to get one man and
- 9:18Speaker 5: then it's uh and then it's all worth it. But yeah,
- 9:20Speaker 5: they are absolutely absolutely humiliators. Yeah, yeah, yeah, Okay, that's
- 9:25Speaker 5: good because.
- 9:25Speaker 3: The classic for me, and I've told you this before,
- 9:27Speaker 3: was doing for in New Zealand and in the end
- 9:29Speaker 3: of the yard, you have to see the guy's naked ass.
- 9:31Speaker 5: That's right. I was thinking about that before.
- 9:33Speaker 3: And in the audition they said are you prepared to
- 9:36Speaker 3: show your ass? And I said not, not for an audition,
- 9:38Speaker 3: I'm not and they went, oh, okay, because they really
- 9:40Speaker 3: need to see your ass, and so I ended up
- 9:43Speaker 3: true story. She said, oh, okay, well would you be
- 9:46Speaker 3: prepared to wear your underwear and give yourself a wedgy?
- 9:49Speaker 3: And I said this is absolutely true, and I went okay.
- 9:56Speaker 5: And what's funny about it? At that point you might
- 9:58Speaker 5: as well take your own deserts exactly.
- 10:00Speaker 3: So I gave myself a wiggy and then she filmed
- 10:03Speaker 3: me walking around a room with.
- 10:05Speaker 5: A wigg Did you book it? Nah?
- 10:08Speaker 2: The Hurdiarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio Hodiarchy
- 10:13Speaker 2: Radio hod Archy.
- 10:20Speaker 3: Yes, indeed, would you rather the NRL Grand Final or Bathhurst?
- 10:23Speaker 3: It's your choice New Zealand Yes, keezy Ah.
- 10:26Speaker 5: People are asking Jase.
- 10:28Speaker 6: Are they what's involved with the trips man?
- 10:31Speaker 5: People are wanting to know.
- 10:32Speaker 6: So, just so you're a weir, it's four Knights on
- 10:33Speaker 6: Mount Panorama, Flights in a commoncluded that's you and a mate.
- 10:37Speaker 6: The other one Sydney NRL Grand Final once again Flights
- 10:40Speaker 6: and accommodation included races on the Saturday and a pre
- 10:43Speaker 6: match cruise to the game on the sadday.
- 10:45Speaker 4: Two good men, too good Gina your mayor Barset? How's life?
- 10:49Speaker 5: Oh good, that's good? How are you? Yeah? Good?
- 10:51Speaker 4: Thanks mate? What do you do for a crass man?
- 10:54Speaker 5: Stay home dad? That's a dream man, that's the dream
- 11:00Speaker 5: cheer of men. Yeah, totally mate, Well done. And do
- 11:04Speaker 5: you sort of as a trip when the old missus
- 11:06Speaker 5: or husband comes home there? Do you sort of act
- 11:09Speaker 5: like you've had a really rough day man, and like
- 11:12Speaker 5: you've got it tougher.
- 11:13Speaker 8: I'll tell you what it's It's hard work to try
- 11:15Speaker 8: and get the vecuumin done in the last half an
- 11:17Speaker 8: hour of the day, exactly.
- 11:18Speaker 5: Right, exactly right. Yeah, tell anyone I.
- 11:21Speaker 3: Remember doing that too, just you know, full on clean
- 11:25Speaker 3: up in the last thirty minutes before your partner gets
- 11:27Speaker 3: back and get home. And it's like Jesus, bloody kids
- 11:30Speaker 3: be driving me nuts all day and working my ass off.
- 11:33Speaker 3: Dated a cup of tina, Lie down, all right, Gino.
- 11:37Speaker 3: What are you going with mate? Beathurst or the NRL
- 11:39Speaker 3: Grand Final?
- 11:40Speaker 5: The NRL brother Yeah, mate, I'll tell you what. I'll do.
- 11:45Speaker 3: I'll hand you over to the pugsn and studio being
- 11:47Speaker 3: he'll look after you all right, all right?
- 11:50Speaker 4: On your mate, question your mad barton? How's life?
- 11:53Speaker 5: Oh?
- 11:54Speaker 9: Bloody good mate, bloody good good?
- 11:55Speaker 5: Yeah mate?
- 11:56Speaker 4: What do you do for a crust?
- 11:58Speaker 9: I'm a bloody steel merchant mate?
- 12:02Speaker 5: Back back, a merchant of steel, merchant steel, glorified screat,
- 12:09Speaker 5: little dealer. Good on your mate, on your mate, on
- 12:11Speaker 5: your mate.
- 12:12Speaker 4: Hey, now listen Kristin. What do you want to do? Mate?
- 12:15Speaker 4: In our grand final? Or bathfist?
- 12:20Speaker 5: Okay you Christian was going to do that. Joe.
- 12:22Speaker 3: We'll check you over the punksan and studio, but you
- 12:25Speaker 3: look after Christin?
- 12:25Speaker 5: All right, thank you, love you man? Hey fellas? Yeah, man?
- 12:32Speaker 5: Would you rather good? Question? Have five half sized clones
- 12:37Speaker 5: of you? Yes? All right? Or one full sized clone
- 12:41Speaker 5: of you? Hmm?
- 12:43Speaker 9: What?
- 12:43Speaker 5: And and can I control them?
- 12:44Speaker 10: You?
- 12:44Speaker 5: Can I bost them around and stuff? Five? Five five
- 12:47Speaker 5: little ones handes hondys? What would you do? Kezy, you
- 12:52Speaker 5: have to have the five little ones as well? Be
- 12:54Speaker 5: kind of it'd be kind of funny, it would be great.
- 12:55Speaker 3: Can you imagine how how small the hoy j ones
- 12:59Speaker 3: would be?
- 13:00Speaker 5: That'd be tiny little mid jets.
- 13:02Speaker 6: You can get them to like run under doorways and
- 13:05Speaker 6: stuff and like sneak into houses and steel stone.
- 13:08Speaker 4: One of those little yellow creatures called again.
- 13:12Speaker 5: Cats.
- 13:12Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, yeah, Pikachu's no you know, Simpson's the little
- 13:16Speaker 3: round ghostee looking one. Undespecable meat Simpson, Bat Simpson.
- 13:23Speaker 4: Oh yeah, be like Bat Simpson.
- 13:27Speaker 6: Up next by the way, gold medalist Olympian Hamish Carter.
- 13:32Speaker 6: It's got some big questions from off Mogi about last
- 13:36Speaker 6: night's triathlon event.
- 13:38Speaker 5: So exciting, hey, Jason, Yeah, man, the.
- 13:42Speaker 2: Whole Achy Big shows with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and
- 13:47Speaker 2: Keezy List.
- 13:47Speaker 3: Indeed white stripes there on the radio. Hold acky big
- 13:50Speaker 3: show this Thursday evening and what at night it was?
- 13:54Speaker 3: And last night fell us an old gaye perie.
- 13:57Speaker 6: Certainly was Jace, one of the most exciting nights of
- 13:59Speaker 6: the Olympics so far, certainly for myself, having the women's
- 14:02Speaker 6: individual triathlon followed closely by the rescheduled men's triathlon, which
- 14:07Speaker 6: was bloody exciting, wasn't it.
- 14:09Speaker 4: Mogi?
- 14:09Speaker 5: It was absolutely thrilling, mate, And there's been a lot
- 14:13Speaker 5: of chat about it, but we thought, if we're going
- 14:15Speaker 5: to discuss it, we might as well discuss it with
- 14:18Speaker 5: one of New Zealand's greatest ever Olympians in my opinion,
- 14:22Speaker 5: allegiend Mogi Allegia, thanks mate, Hamish Carda, Hamish Carter, how
- 14:27Speaker 5: are you, mate?
- 14:28Speaker 3: Oh good things, Good on you, Hamish. Absolutely, I honored
- 14:33Speaker 3: to have you on the show, mate, particularly talking about triathlon. Jeez, Louise,
- 14:39Speaker 3: that was amazing last night. Brilliant by Hayden Wilde but
- 14:43Speaker 3: also actually devastating at the same time.
- 14:48Speaker 5: Yeah, it was.
- 14:50Speaker 8: I think every time you watch the Olympics, I don't know,
- 14:55Speaker 8: it just it seems that the level and the compute
- 15:00Speaker 8: editiveness is ridiculous, right, and you know, you can be
- 15:06Speaker 8: in a position that Hayden was, then it's hard to
- 15:08Speaker 8: tell what he was feeling because he looks so good
- 15:10Speaker 8: and then it all changed so quickly and you just
- 15:14Speaker 8: kind of think are out, like anything's possible. And it's brutal, right,
- 15:18Speaker 8: you can it's brutal to watch races, particularly like there's
- 15:21Speaker 8: athletes who are slipping into fourth and you can see
- 15:25Speaker 8: the destrey trying to hold on and stick in the metal.
- 15:28Speaker 8: It's crazy how this sort.
- 15:29Speaker 5: Of is and it's unbelievable that after you know, you've
- 15:32Speaker 5: got a fifteen hundred meter swim, forty k bike, ten
- 15:36Speaker 5: k run that after such a distance, you think that
- 15:40Speaker 5: that would separate out the competitors, but that it can
- 15:42Speaker 5: after all of that come down to a matter of seconds,
- 15:46Speaker 5: ten seconds, five seconds. The barest of margins is it
- 15:50Speaker 5: shows how competitive they are and how much the will
- 15:53Speaker 5: to win is there.
- 15:55Speaker 8: Yeah, I look totally. I mean the races was particularly
- 16:00Speaker 8: difficult because they had played a delayed in their head
- 16:05Speaker 8: the river, which was a bit crazy, and then.
- 16:08Speaker 3: They had posing the signs seeing yeah there was pose,
- 16:13Speaker 3: wasn't there.
- 16:14Speaker 8: Yeah, And then the ride and then it was home
- 16:17Speaker 8: than survey and the men were normal be racing at
- 16:20Speaker 8: eight o'clock in the morning, but then now they're racing
- 16:22Speaker 8: at midday. So I mean it's it's it's a complex
- 16:26Speaker 8: enough sport and you thrive that into the mix. Yeah,
- 16:30Speaker 8: and it just goes, well, you know, how do you
- 16:32Speaker 8: prepare for that? And had I agree you had such
- 16:35Speaker 8: an amazing race, like all of the fun of to one,
- 16:41Speaker 8: but I think you know, you look at it and
- 16:43Speaker 8: you think, God, he raise so well and you kind
- 16:45Speaker 8: of be super stoked for him.
- 16:48Speaker 5: Absolutely. Another hero of the races. Dylan McCulloch, who you know,
- 16:53Speaker 5: hate and world, said he should be given the key
- 16:56Speaker 5: to New Zealand. It'll be a coveted key to head,
- 16:58Speaker 5: wouldn't it. One thing I don'tunderstand, and this happens in
- 17:01Speaker 5: cycling potentially and running as well, when they say that
- 17:04Speaker 5: a teammate will go back into the pack and get
- 17:08Speaker 5: somebody and bring them to the front. Now, I've heard
- 17:10Speaker 5: that in commentary for years and years and years. Every
- 17:14Speaker 5: commentator says it, but not one of them has ever
- 17:17Speaker 5: explained what is meant by that, Because if you can
- 17:19Speaker 5: go back and get one, why doesn't everybody else just
- 17:21Speaker 5: go with him? I don't understand. Can you tell me
- 17:24Speaker 5: how that works?
- 17:26Speaker 10: Well?
- 17:27Speaker 8: And it's works just the way he described it. You know,
- 17:30Speaker 8: Dylan was in the front group and he was sitting
- 17:32Speaker 8: on the back, and you know he's strong enough to
- 17:37Speaker 8: be on the front right, So he was definitely waiting
- 17:40Speaker 8: and not wanting to pull the group away from Hayden.
- 17:43Speaker 8: And then halfway through the blake, he clearly was decided
- 17:48Speaker 8: or constructions to head back to the group and to
- 17:50Speaker 8: help Hayden's the second group come forward, And that's exactly
- 17:54Speaker 8: what he did, so it's pretty amazing.
- 17:58Speaker 5: Yeah, but what is what is the physical action of
- 18:01Speaker 5: doing that? So I've slowed down now I'm just further
- 18:04Speaker 5: away from the lead. What is the physical action I
- 18:07Speaker 5: take to then be able to bring somebody else further ahead?
- 18:10Speaker 5: Is there slip streams or what's the actual Yeah.
- 18:13Speaker 8: When when you're sitting on the bike, in particular, you
- 18:18Speaker 8: get assistance from being behind someone right stronger than you.
- 18:22Speaker 8: So he went back and I think it's got on
- 18:25Speaker 8: the front of the second group that Hayden was in
- 18:28Speaker 8: and rode as hard as he could to pull that
- 18:30Speaker 8: group up to the front, right, yeap. So simple as
- 18:34Speaker 8: that really, and it's not simple physically, but it's you know,
- 18:38Speaker 8: and it's a huge it's a huge contribution.
- 18:42Speaker 5: It's a massive sacrifice.
- 18:44Speaker 3: And yeah, the Keys to New Zealand, well, I you know,
- 18:47Speaker 3: I think all of New Zealand loved watching it. Mate
- 18:50Speaker 3: was a great advertisement for the sport again, and congratulations
- 18:54Speaker 3: Hayden Wilde a top effort.
- 18:56Speaker 8: Yees now he's ass And it's just so cool that
- 19:00Speaker 8: the whole team, you know, so well off the top
- 19:05Speaker 8: ten and we're going to have femals to come home
- 19:08Speaker 8: and so.
- 19:10Speaker 4: Awesome.
- 19:10Speaker 3: Hamus Carter, thank you so much man for your time,
- 19:13Speaker 3: your legend. We greatly appreciate it and enjoy watching the
- 19:16Speaker 3: rest of the Olympics.

- 20:49Speaker 3: to be discussing in the next brack.
- 20:50Speaker 4: And I'm really excited about it. I don't know about you, fellas.

- 36:27Speaker 6: just really proud of pug Son because you know, him
- 36:29Speaker 6: and Dilly worked together. They got a sponsor in for

- 37:16Speaker 3: an absolute shocker on the podcast outro.
- 37:20Speaker 4: Never in my life have I heard.
- 37:23Speaker 3: Such an outpouring, such a cacophony of lies that came
- 37:29Speaker 3: out of Keysy's mouth. Accusations, false comments, misinformation.
- 37:36Speaker 4: It was a shocker.
- 37:37Speaker 5: That's right. Here is a clip just to prove that.
- 37:39Speaker 5: This clip is entitled the Hoity j Dishonesty Special. Goes,
- 37:45Speaker 5: oh god, look at those, and then he picks out
- 37:47Speaker 5: one covered in sugar, like covered and sugar. It cuts
- 37:50Speaker 5: it in half, cuts a small bit off.
- 37:52Speaker 6: And eats it and goes, oh god, it's like, can
- 37:55Speaker 6: you just eat something and have a positive reaction? So
- 37:58Speaker 6: full on, and then cuts another bit off, cuts another
- 38:01Speaker 6: bit off pizza, and I cut a bit off to
- 38:04Speaker 6: taste it to see what all the fuss is about,
- 38:06Speaker 6: and he goes, CAZy, did you steal my donuta?
- 38:11Speaker 3: That's just a sort of an accuracy that I'm talking about.
- 38:14Speaker 3: And I was quite shocked by what Keysey was.
- 38:18Speaker 6: I was shocked by what I saw the amount of
- 38:21Speaker 6: donuts and cheese balls flying.
- 38:23Speaker 5: Yeah, man, it was an absolute disgrace. I came in
- 38:25Speaker 5: here and both of you were snout deep and donuts
- 38:29Speaker 5: and cheese balls? Was I there? Well, you were there initially,
- 38:33Speaker 5: but yeah, it was. It was interesting because both of
- 38:36Speaker 5: you here completely different stories about what actually happens. And
- 38:39Speaker 5: I'll just leave it to the listeners to the side
- 38:42Speaker 5: who's telling the truth Ultimately.
- 38:44Speaker 4: I think that's a good call.
- 38:46Speaker 3: Moggi Just incidentally on that front, Moggi was there, stuff
- 38:49Speaker 3: and his trough with desiccated chicken and rice to the
- 38:51Speaker 3: end of the gym.
- 38:55Speaker 2: The hoed Ikey Big Show with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue
- 38:58Speaker 2: and Kesey Hops.
- 39:00Speaker 3: Bring there on the radio Hodankey Big Show. Now, of course,
- 39:03Speaker 3: the Olympics in full swing. A lot of people texting
- 39:05Speaker 3: through on three four eight three asking us to let
- 39:08Speaker 3: them know what's going on each night as they're heading
- 39:11Speaker 3: to home.
- 39:12Speaker 4: So can we do that, keezy?
- 39:13Speaker 5: Yep, they have been asking us. So let's get into
- 39:15Speaker 5: this segment.
- 39:16Speaker 11: Goals, silver broze, one jump, shot, put through, hammer throw, surfing, skateboarding.
- 39:30Speaker 6: What's happening in gay Paris? So there's a lot on
- 39:36Speaker 6: tonight fellas. Of course, it is the Olympics and it's
- 39:39Speaker 6: happening in Paris.
- 39:41Speaker 5: Ah, can you put on that frenchy music? I don't
- 39:44Speaker 5: like this, Okay, Pugs just made it special. That's all
- 39:47Speaker 5: good though, yeah, okay a. So tonight just under.
- 39:56Speaker 6: Races just after nine you've got the rowing double scales
- 40:00Speaker 6: women and men final A so it's middle middle opportunity.
- 40:03Speaker 5: Awesome. What time's that?
- 40:05Speaker 4: Seriously?
- 40:05Speaker 6: Just after nine so nine to eighteen, then nine thirty
- 40:08Speaker 6: and then at nine point fifty you've got coxless four women.
- 40:12Speaker 5: Okay, good? Is that an a final? That's correct? A final.
- 40:15Speaker 6: It's a final, so that's between nine and ten there
- 40:17Speaker 6: you've got a whole lot of row in to watch
- 40:19Speaker 6: their Jason Good which is great. Ten past ten coxless
- 40:23Speaker 6: four men right, also in the final. Yeah the a
- 40:28Speaker 6: B just his final here, so it must just be
- 40:30Speaker 6: the final, and it says it's a middle opportunity. So
- 40:32Speaker 6: I'm assuming just after midnight twelve forty you've got the
- 40:37Speaker 6: forty nine ers men getting underway. Marcel Marina is the location,
- 40:42Speaker 6: and you've got Isaac McCarty and William McKinsey sailing there.
- 40:44Speaker 6: So if you're up late you can watch the sailing
- 40:46Speaker 6: of course, one forty three an hour later. The women,
- 40:49Speaker 6: you've got Molly meach and Joe Ali and they are
- 40:52Speaker 6: in the forty nine ers as well, with the women,
- 40:53Speaker 6: which is very exciting. Three thirty am, jas you're up
- 40:57Speaker 6: at three eight? Yeah, yes, like you'll be asleep.
- 41:01Speaker 5: Okay.
- 41:02Speaker 6: The canoe slash, kayak slalom, the K one it is
- 41:06Speaker 6: bloody exciting. Finn Butcher will be competing in that. That's
- 41:09Speaker 6: the men's and then finally aight, oh three tomorrow morning
- 41:13Speaker 6: you can wake up, you can watch some swimming. You've
- 41:15Speaker 6: got Eve Thomas, Leticia Transom, Eric Afeirwa and Caitlin Dean's
- 41:20Speaker 6: all doing the four by two hundred meter freestyle relay
- 41:23Speaker 6: for women looking.
- 41:24Speaker 4: Forward to the ring.
- 41:25Speaker 3: Genuinely, it's a good watch, a really good watch. Also
- 41:30Speaker 3: the new you see the men in the sailing are
- 41:32Speaker 3: doing pretty well too there top the table.
- 41:34Speaker 5: Well that's our thing, isn't it? Rowing?
- 41:37Speaker 6: And then also the idea of waking up tomorrow morning
- 41:39Speaker 6: and watching a four x two hundred meter relay in
- 41:41Speaker 6: the swimming, I reckon, that's quite exciting. That's a final,
- 41:45Speaker 6: like me a relay. What predictions have you guys got?
- 41:48Speaker 6: How many medals will we have this time tomorrow?
- 41:51Speaker 5: How many have we got? Now? Two? Can we do
- 41:53Speaker 5: the count?
- 41:53Speaker 6: We did it earlier in the shadow the count? Okay,
- 42:01Speaker 6: the Big Show Middle Telly update. We have one goal.
- 42:07Speaker 6: Oh that's good, we had it yesterday. We've got one silver, Yeah,
- 42:13Speaker 6: that's obviously Hayden Wild and we have zero bronze with
- 42:17Speaker 6: an asterisk because eric A fair Weather go fourth a
- 42:20Speaker 6: few days back.
- 42:20Speaker 5: Pretty much one bronze by population. Ah ah, you are
- 42:28Speaker 5: sure asking a lot per capita? Yeah? Do you want
- 42:32Speaker 5: total medals or just golds? Total medals?
- 42:34Speaker 3: I just want to know where are on where we
- 42:36Speaker 3: are on the table. Yeah, so the actual table or no,
- 42:39Speaker 3: the per capita.
- 42:40Speaker 5: Per capital is seventh? Yeah, thank you. Do you want
- 42:42Speaker 5: to know who's first?
- 42:45Speaker 4: Ah?
- 42:47Speaker 6: No, that's sixth, just ahead of us is first because
- 42:52Speaker 6: they have got a medal in the sevens and their
- 42:54Speaker 6: population is only eight hundred and ninety six thousand, which
- 42:57Speaker 6: means per meddle there is eight hundred and ninety thousand people.
- 43:00Speaker 5: Yeah. That's sweet. That out it's not capita means good stuff, guys. Wow, exciting,
- 43:04Speaker 5: isn't it? So tomorrow Oregon four golds? Wow, that's huge
- 43:10Speaker 5: and well it must be six silver.
- 43:12Speaker 4: I'm just going to go geneer it three more.
- 43:14Speaker 6: Medals, Okay, okay, I'm gonna go four golds and five Silvers.
- 43:19Speaker 2: The Hodaki Big Shows with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and Keys.
- 43:24Speaker 3: Oh yeah, the cool cool sounds of Groover Marda there
- 43:27Speaker 3: on the radio Hodaki Big Show this Tuesday evening.
- 43:31Speaker 4: Let's talk TV.
- 43:34Speaker 3: What's on the Telly with Mike Minogue.
- 43:40Speaker 10: Yeah, you and I are really good at that.
- 43:52Speaker 5: Yeah, we are really good at it. Man, give it
- 43:53Speaker 5: credit with credits due. He's just been silly, yeah, every time, silly.
- 43:57Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 43:57Speaker 5: Do you want to know what genuinely wired? Why do
- 44:00Speaker 5: you do it?
- 44:01Speaker 6: I think we do it for too long, and so
- 44:03Speaker 6: I'm like trying to like spice it up, like just
- 44:05Speaker 6: go out start, we should start now.
- 44:08Speaker 5: Okay, what did you want? I mean, I'll certainly take
- 44:11Speaker 5: your point. Yeah. Man, that's about a minute already done.
- 44:14Speaker 5: It's just me justifying why yeah yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 44:17Speaker 5: See now we're talking about that. It's extra and a half. No,
- 44:19Speaker 5: but you were excited about what you watched last night.
- 44:22Speaker 5: I'm thrilled. I watched the first episode of a show
- 44:25Speaker 5: called Bodkin.
- 44:28Speaker 9: Like Arrow.
- 44:28Speaker 5: I think it might be another language. I think it
- 44:32Speaker 5: might be another language for podcast. Just thinking about it. Oh, yes,
- 44:35Speaker 5: I know the show. Yeah, it's sort of like a
- 44:39Speaker 5: mystery thriller thing and a guy who does a podcast
- 44:41Speaker 5: goes to investigate a true crime. Ah, which sounds good,
- 44:45Speaker 5: but the first episode was not good. It's got willfortell
- 44:48Speaker 5: you and it was a very funny comedian group from
- 44:51Speaker 5: MacGruber and Satee night Live. I don't know why he's
- 44:54Speaker 5: in this. I don't know why he's in this. It
- 44:56Speaker 5: gets better, does it? Yes? It does? Okay? Good?
- 44:59Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 45:02Speaker 3: But yes and no I remember watching that a little
- 45:04Speaker 3: while back and I moderately enjoyed it.
- 45:07Speaker 5: Yes, can you get through some TV man?
- 45:09Speaker 4: Yeah, you know my days off?
- 45:12Speaker 3: I watched the show last night on TV and Z
- 45:14Speaker 3: Plus called prosper with Rebecca Gibney and I think his
- 45:21Speaker 3: name is Richard Roxburgh or something like that. Who plays
- 45:26Speaker 3: who plays Ray? And it's about a couple that run
- 45:30Speaker 3: a sort of religious church. A religious church run a church,
- 45:35Speaker 3: yeah you know, blah blah blah blah blah.
- 45:38Speaker 4: And he's an ex drug addict. You know. They're all Australia.
- 45:41Speaker 3: His son doesn't want to see them anymore because they're
- 45:45Speaker 3: so corrupt and so forth. First episode was pretty good,
- 45:50Speaker 3: and then the second episode deteriorated quickly. Really, yes, because
- 45:55Speaker 3: after the first episode, you know, he gets on the
- 45:57Speaker 3: drugs again after you know, and stuff like that, and
- 46:00Speaker 3: I went, oh, this has got potential and I like
- 46:02Speaker 3: him as an actor actually very much so. But then yeah,
- 46:06Speaker 3: the second episode went sort of veered off in a
- 46:09Speaker 3: strange direction, and I went, oh, no, can I persevere?
- 46:12Speaker 3: I think I will give it a go. I think
- 46:14Speaker 3: I'll stay with it. What did you watch, Kezy?
- 46:16Speaker 6: We watched an assortment of like travel based things on
- 46:19Speaker 6: YouTube because we're trying to find a destination to go
- 46:21Speaker 6: for New Year's We've never been away over that period. However,
- 46:25Speaker 6: going over well, I want to go overseas. It's winter overseas.
- 46:31Speaker 6: I've never been overseas over that period. It's winter in
- 46:34Speaker 6: the Northern Hemisphere. So all the places I want to
- 46:37Speaker 6: go it's too cold. Lucy doesn't want to go. And
- 46:39Speaker 6: then I'm like, well, how about this Cuba? How cooled
- 46:42Speaker 6: Cuba be? Old cars, old buildings.
- 46:44Speaker 5: Old cars, it'd be right up here early. Yeah. She
- 46:46Speaker 5: loved it. It's actually her suggestion.
- 46:48Speaker 6: I was like, how a Yeah, cheapest flights, we could
- 46:50Speaker 6: get four stops. Yeah, takes forty two hours. And it
- 46:54Speaker 6: was nine and a half grand each.
- 46:55Speaker 5: Yeah, I've looked at that before. Wow, a new flight
- 47:00Speaker 5: that went through Houston, I think, which may think sure,
- 47:03Speaker 5: but it was still.
- 47:04Speaker 6: Your Dallas hop Hop hoppen Ye hours of Dallas Fort
- 47:07Speaker 6: Worth and then you go to this place because only
- 47:08Speaker 6: certain places fly to Cuba.
- 47:10Speaker 5: Yeah, well you can't fly direct from the US. You
- 47:12Speaker 5: had to fly to Mexico and then you have to
- 47:14Speaker 5: go to the Cuba from there.
- 47:15Speaker 3: Also, why would you want to go from the beautiful
- 47:18Speaker 3: New Zealand summer under a freezing Europe?
- 47:20Speaker 5: I would love I don't give a show I would
- 47:22Speaker 5: love to go to, especially for a couple of weeks there.
- 47:25Speaker 5: If you're going over to I know we're going away
- 47:28Speaker 5: from tv Chat, but Switzerland or so you're up in
- 47:31Speaker 5: the OLP Germany proper snowy fire, you know, by the fire,
- 47:37Speaker 5: but it's snowboarding, hotdy j you're ripping it up there
- 47:40Speaker 5: and you're ripping ass up there, man, ripping that ass.
- 47:43Speaker 5: But a brandy by the fire there or something nice
- 47:47Speaker 5: entirely up to you that love making. But anyway, we're
- 47:49Speaker 5: just going to go to christ Church.
- 47:50Speaker 2: The whole archy Big Show with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue
- 47:54Speaker 2: and Kissy.
- 47:55Speaker 3: Stone Temple pilots there on the radio hod Archy Big
- 47:58Speaker 3: Show this Snesday evening. Now there's yesterday was the end
- 48:01Speaker 3: of beer and Pie July, and I believe fellers we
- 48:05Speaker 3: have a.
- 48:06Speaker 5: Weather that's right.
- 48:07Speaker 6: There was a lucky winner this morning on the Hidarcky
- 48:09Speaker 6: Brick for show five thousand dollars. All this person did
- 48:12Speaker 6: was text through to three four eight three the word
- 48:14Speaker 6: pie and then choose a flavor. We randomly chose. It's
- 48:18Speaker 6: too late, it's August now. But if you wait, you'll
- 48:22Speaker 6: be able.
- 48:22Speaker 5: To do it next year. Okay, I definitely do it
- 48:24Speaker 5: next year. Now, you guys working, you can't anyway.
- 48:26Speaker 9: Here's a clip, Hello Tomody speaking Hello Tommody.
- 48:29Speaker 1: It's Matt Heath here from the Radiohadacke Brickfas show.
