  What an incredible football game that was really, really fun to

  watch. Miami, EU, they get the win over

  Ole Miss in just a fantastic football game and early on Miami

  is dominating the stat sheet but not necessarily the scoreboard.

  Ole Miss able to keep it close in the first half.

  In the first half, Miami was killing em in terms of yardage.

  They were killing em in terms of time of possession.

  I remember at one point it was like 26 minutes to 8 in terms of

  time of possession. I know at the end the yardage

  got got pretty close there, but you had Ole Miss with a kind of

  bend but not break defense until that last touchdown.

  And Ole Miss, their kicker was just hitting everything.

  I know he I know he clanked the one and he clanked the other one

  in, but what a weapon there. So he was helping keep it close.

  Obviously, Trinidad Chambliss is just an absolute freaking stud.

  I hope he's able to go back to college.

  But also, I mean, is this the time to go to the NFLI?

  Think he's 6 feet tall, £200. I don't know how legit of an NFL

  prospect he is but damn in college he's freaking amazing.

  Yesterday for STL Sports Central, I made a little clip

  think Miami's going to win, but I took Ole Miss with the points

  so I lost the bet. So I stink.

  But I will say this, I do think first of all in picking Miami,

  but also in terms of my reasoning.

  Also as an Ohio State fan, I just watched that game going how

  the hell are we not in this football game?

  I'd forgotten about it, but it pissed me off when I watched the

  game thinking that Ohio State should be in that game.

  Also, I'm off on a tangent here, but couple weeks ago I told my

  daughter my daughter's birthday is January 19th on a Monday,

  turns 8. I told her a couple weeks ago I

  go, hey, I said maybe our favorite team, daddy's favorite

  team, your favorite team, Ohio State.

  Maybe Ohio State could win a national championship on your

  birthday and then they don't even freaking win the
• 2:41
  quarterfinal game. Anyway, that was off on a
• 2:44
  tangent but getting back to bringing up the Ohio State game
• 2:48
  because I watched that super close super intently and Miami's
• 2:55
  D line and front 7 just wreaked havoc on Ohio State that whole

  game. Tons of sacks, whatever it was.

  I can't remember but like 5 sacks, 8 tackles for loss,

  something like that. Don't quote them, but something
• 3:06
  like that. Julian Sain's a really good
• 3:09
  quarterback for the Buckeyes, but he's just like your
• 3:11
  prototypical drop back passer. He just can't make anybody miss
• 3:15
  with his legs, not even one dude.

  And so that's where I thought it would be different.

  And I remember for a while there watching on TV that like Miami

  wasn't getting the same type of pressure they got versus Ohio
• 3:29
  State. So, so give the online credit

  for Ole Miss, but also Trinidad Chambliss is a different animal.

  I mean, that dude can run, he can move, he can extend the

  pocket, he can move the pocket, he can, he can move around.

  So that's why I thought Miami's defense would not be as

  impactful as they were against Ohio State.

  And so I think it's fair to say I was correct on that.

  I'm not just trying to like, oh, pat my back, pat myself on the

  back. Because again, I actually lost

  the frickin bet. I frickin lost the bet.

  And I do think I think Miami was the right side the whole way

  because they were the better team.

  They were the better team even even when Ole Miss was pulling

  ahead. You just kind of said, you know,

  Miami's, they're better. They're just better.

  You had some penalties at the end, but I think all the

  penalties were actually called properly.

  I know at the end on the last play, which was kind of a Hail

  Mary, but kind of not, folks are saying you should have called

  pass interference. I get that, but it's like that's

  never called on that now that even it wasn't even a true Hail

  Mary though were were they? Were they like the 35 yard line?

  But anyway, now we can get into the narratives of the SEC

  doesn't get to the championship game now for the third straight

  year. I do think it's fair to say, and

  I like to poke the bear with the SEC.

  I do respect the SEC. They ran things for like 15-17

  years, whatever it is. But it's not the same NIL

  SEC is not nearly as dominant. If you look at the College

  Football Playoff, they really only beat themselves and what

  Tulane is that right? Ole Miss though, give Ole Miss

  credit because they almost beat Miami and Ole Miss played in two

  of the best games. Ole Miss Georgia and Ole Miss

  Miami are the two best games, right?

  I'm trying to think if any other ones were even good.

  Ohio State was a pretty good game.

  Indiana was not a good game. Oregon was not a good game.

  First round games, obviously you had Texas A&M.

  That was a super close game versus Miami, low scoring, windy

  and all that. You had Alabama, Oklahoma was,

  Anyway, I'm going off on more tangents.

  OK. But anyway, SEC, they're just

  not what they used to be. And you have a chance for the

  Big 10 to win now, their third straight national championship.

  Big 10 is obviously guaranteed at least one spot to play Miami.

  It'll be either Oregon or Indiana.

  What a nice segue into talking about tonight's game.

  Indiana -3 1/2. I have so much respect for

  Indiana. The way they beat Ohio State,

  that game was close. They're just so good in every

  phase of the game. They're just well coached.

  They destroyed Alabama, obviously that wasn't even a

  game. They suffocate you.

  They're kind of like a boa constrictor.

  They don't make mistakes. They have great quarterback play

  with Fernando Mendoza. They're super well coached with

  Kurt Signetti. Again, play well in all three

  phases and they don't they don't let you back in the game.

  And that's why if you watch that, if you watch that Indiana

  Alabama game, there was the point there where it was like 17

  zip and the broadcasters I thought did a really good job of
