- 0:49Speaker 1: Sports Shock Wayne Gatty, Good morning to you on this
- 0:53Speaker 1: chilly Monday here in Atlanta, Georgia. And always as we
- 1:00Speaker 1: you when things happened bad in Texas? How about them cowboys?
- 1:05Speaker 1: How about them boys? But we're not gonna rub it in,
- 1:10Speaker 1: Come in you Greg's face. He's already seeing four different
- 1:16Speaker 1: therapists a week for his cowboyism. It's just a thing.
- 1:21Speaker 1: It's that deep. He needs to talk to somebody now.
- 1:23Speaker 1: It's seven. Oh, you're just a full week of therapy
- 1:27Speaker 1: for cowboy fans. Fia state too.
- 1:30Speaker 2: He paid me for twenty five minutes a week. I'm
- 1:33Speaker 2: just taking his money.
- 1:36Speaker 1: The cowboys and I keep telling you what's roll with
- 1:39Speaker 1: the cowboys. But Greg will not go down there and
- 1:42Speaker 1: fix it. He keeps trying to come back with the
- 1:44Speaker 1: same template and keep messing up the T shirts. You
- 1:48Speaker 1: ever had a template made for a T shirt and
- 1:50Speaker 1: it just messes up the I used to throw parties
- 1:53Speaker 1: in college and we get some T shirts made and
- 1:57Speaker 1: it just mess up the whole T shirt. And then
- 1:59Speaker 1: you got a big decision because typically the shirt person
- 2:04Speaker 1: that made them, they don't want to take full responsibility.
- 2:08Speaker 1: They want to do a little right. Right, We'll give
- 2:11Speaker 1: you a certain amount off. You're thinking they just gonna
- 2:14Speaker 1: throw the whole bunch in right right, But remember you
- 2:17Speaker 1: ain't have a lot of money, so you ain't dealing
- 2:19Speaker 1: with a true You're dealing with more of a shade tree.
- 2:23Speaker 2: Yeah, so you're gonna get that tenth You're gonna get
- 2:26Speaker 2: that tenth annual celebation.
- 2:31Speaker 1: And to get a whole new batch, he'll give you
- 2:33Speaker 1: twenty five percent off. Oh yeah, But so now y'all
- 2:36Speaker 1: wearing T shirts with celebation. So you got a decision
- 2:39Speaker 1: to make. But commands shee Greg is in the building.
- 2:41Speaker 1: The bad producer is back in the building today. So
- 2:46Speaker 1: Jarrett relaxed, get your drink. It's like they say in
- 2:50Speaker 1: the TV, the movies. It's five o'clock somewhere, five pm somewhere,
- 2:55Speaker 1: got it right now? Maybe in Australia, good guy like, well,
- 3:00Speaker 1: Greg's going to Thailand. He'll be able to hit us,
- 3:02Speaker 1: hit us up, man when you get to Thailand with
- 3:04Speaker 1: a little picture of you. Are you gonna go full
- 3:08Speaker 1: native when you get to Thailand? Like are you that mean?
- 3:12Speaker 1: Like are you going to the whole?
- 3:14Speaker 2: You know how like people go psychotropic drugs, dress, sex, trafficking. Ah,
- 3:20Speaker 2: you know what I'm saying, like smuggling weapons like no boundaries.
- 3:26Speaker 1: Just that's I'm gonna admit that win in Taiwan do
- 3:29Speaker 1: like the Tailannians Lanians do.
- 3:32Speaker 6: That's the word Tailani. Let me talking to this man. Oh,
- 3:37Speaker 6: I'm not going to admit that on the air.
- 3:40Speaker 1: Why why wouldn't you?
- 3:41Speaker 2: This is this is you can't admit doing it over
- 3:44Speaker 2: there when you're there.
- 3:45Speaker 1: But this is a country for everything.
- 3:47Speaker 2: You know, you can come back and be like, yeah,
- 3:50Speaker 2: I ravaged that country and.
- 3:52Speaker 1: We be like a mad Red Car mad Red Car.
- 3:55Speaker 1: A big show with Vic Kenny, the funny man himself
- 3:58Speaker 1: is in the building as well. Monday Night Football Tonight
- 4:03Speaker 1: Buffalo visiting New York. New York is a buzz right
- 4:06Speaker 1: now with the playoffs with Major League Baseball. The Mets
- 4:10Speaker 1: and the Yankees are in the playoffs, the Liberty are
- 4:15Speaker 1: in the finals. And you know the storyline behind the
- 4:20Speaker 1: Jets and the drama that Aaron Rodgers brings to a team,
- 4:25Speaker 1: And it's just so funny how with these teams, and
- 4:28Speaker 1: we're gonna talk some NFL I can ask you, and
- 4:33Speaker 1: this is sports, and this is sports entertainment, and this
- 4:35Speaker 1: is just how the world goes. I've been trying to
- 4:37Speaker 1: fight it, but the ain't no need to fighting it.
- 4:39Speaker 1: Just give in to it and let it unfold in
- 4:42Speaker 1: front of people. Most of these teams, you know like
- 4:47Speaker 1: three people and you don't know the other fifty players,
- 4:51Speaker 1: and you want those three people to win the game.
- 4:57Speaker 1: And that's just not how football really are. I'm saying.
- 5:00Speaker 1: When you're not a fan of that particular team, right,
- 5:04Speaker 1: if you're not a stealer fan, then you don't know
- 5:07Speaker 1: who the two receivers are. If I put one hundred
- 5:11Speaker 1: dollars right here, maybe Greg, you know, without hitting some buttons,
- 5:17Speaker 1: you'd be like, you know, justin fields, TJ. White, I mean,
- 5:20Speaker 1: why t J? Whyatt Watts, and then you might know
- 5:26Speaker 1: Cameron Haywood. Maybe then it starts getting cloudy maybe and
- 5:31Speaker 1: these jo people like you know me and Joe and
- 5:34Speaker 1: man that was the seventh even like Cameron Haywo with Pittsburgh.
- 5:42Speaker 1: And that's just really how it is. And that's the
- 5:44Speaker 1: thing that how are sports. We grab those one or
- 5:47Speaker 1: two names and act like that's how football, and it's
- 5:51Speaker 1: really the other fifty people. It's really the nun stars
- 5:55Speaker 1: that pushes you to winning. Those are the people that
- 5:59Speaker 1: really so jets Aaron Rodgers, You thought a forty one
- 6:02Speaker 1: year old man with an achilles injury was gonna do?
- 6:05Speaker 7: What?
- 6:06Speaker 1: Who go to Joshua Tree every year? Come on, now,
- 6:09Speaker 1: come on, line, I'm not telling you. You get those guys,
- 6:12Speaker 1: as I said with Tom Brady Peyton Manning, to make
- 6:16Speaker 1: those two or three plays that get you over the
- 6:19Speaker 1: hump at the end. But the rest of the game
- 6:22Speaker 1: is just back and forth of the other fifty two players,
- 6:25Speaker 1: right right, And then you want to get them in
- 6:28Speaker 1: a position where you tie score with two minutes to go.
- 6:33Speaker 1: And Aaron Rodgers got the ball, Well that's all I
- 6:36Speaker 1: need to set up if I can get it twenty
- 6:38Speaker 1: three to twenty three and get the ball back. That's
- 6:41Speaker 1: what you wanted.
- 6:42Speaker 2: And now I know that sounded like an unbelievable script,
- 6:45Speaker 2: but that's what we're working with.
- 6:48Speaker 1: So Monday Night football Bills and Jets, and I think
- 6:52Speaker 1: that's the only Monday Night game, but I do. I
- 6:55Speaker 1: did see that maybe they ABC is going to do
- 6:59Speaker 1: more the double Monday night games this year. Yay. I
- 7:05Speaker 1: haven't seen anything. I think that's why.
- 7:07Speaker 8: That's why they love for a couple of those TBAs
- 7:09Speaker 8: on like the last two games of the season, so
- 7:12Speaker 8: they can make some adjustments.
- 7:13Speaker 1: Yeah, I think they're going to do some kind of
- 7:15Speaker 1: flex double games here, like we've seen the previous couple
- 7:19Speaker 1: of Monday nights, but Monday Night football is here as well.
- 7:25Speaker 1: One thing, guys, I want you, and I know bad
- 7:28Speaker 1: producers might know the answer already. I've been noticing, especially
- 7:33Speaker 1: on the collegiate level a little bit on the NFL level,
- 7:38Speaker 1: what's what the double hanging mouthpieces on the player's help.
- 7:44Speaker 1: Have you seen that with the double? Sometimes it's single,
- 7:48Speaker 1: but some of them are wearing double. They're never putting
- 7:51Speaker 1: the mouthpiece in, It just hangs. Is that? What is that?
- 7:55Speaker 1: Is that game? Game? Game. And what am I? I
- 7:59Speaker 1: don't see what's the team getting? No, No, you're not
- 8:04Speaker 1: hearing me. They're not even putting them. They're not even
- 8:07Speaker 1: putting them in their mouth. They're just hanging off the
- 8:11Speaker 1: face masks.
- 8:13Speaker 8: It's drip. That's it came through. Nothing more than that
- 8:19Speaker 8: came through dripping trip trip.
- 8:24Speaker 2: But what about when I but when the other guy
- 8:26Speaker 2: has done it, I can't do it.
- 8:28Speaker 1: That's his thing.
- 8:29Speaker 6: But if you with some of them, I think they
- 8:33Speaker 6: they're like personal lines. They have a message on them
- 8:35Speaker 6: if they if they have their brand or their social media.
- 8:38Speaker 1: That might see ce. See these dudes are so soft.
- 8:42Speaker 1: We used to just get tattoos if you want, if
- 8:45Speaker 1: you want to send the message, but now you commitment.
- 8:48Speaker 1: That's more comment than the area of the transfer portal.
- 8:51Speaker 2: They don't want to commit that hard getting would just
- 8:57Speaker 2: give you a little message on my mouthpiece that I
- 8:59Speaker 2: never used.
- 9:00Speaker 1: And that's it. Yeah. I've watched several games over the
- 9:03Speaker 1: last two week. I thought it was just one where
- 9:05Speaker 1: something like the bad producer was saying that maybe he
- 9:09Speaker 1: was having some kind of dental so he wore this one.
- 9:13Speaker 1: And then I noticed that the young man never put
- 9:16Speaker 1: either one of them. They just dangled off the face
- 9:19Speaker 1: mask the whole game. And I kept thinking, man, that'd
- 9:24Speaker 1: be annoying to be functioning.
- 9:28Speaker 8: I thought was back in the day when Marcus Allen
- 9:30Speaker 8: used to did button at the bottom.
- 9:33Speaker 1: He just had that button. He run that thing was hanging.
- 9:36Speaker 1: That was like a fan at one time in.
- 9:37Speaker 8: The NFL to take a button to take up the
- 9:41Speaker 8: on the helmet, the chin straps, the part that button,
- 9:43Speaker 8: the bottom part. You know, you're button up here and
- 9:47Speaker 8: then you got the button.
- 9:48Speaker 1: Marcus Allen, if you ever know he used to keep
- 9:50Speaker 1: that little well, I never kept it. I didn't wear
- 9:52Speaker 1: the double. You didn't wear the double. Yeah, I wore
- 9:55Speaker 1: a single here. Okay, but I do understand what you're saying.
- 9:58Speaker 1: But now the referee can ask you to to button
- 10:00Speaker 1: that up.
- 10:00Speaker 8: Now they changed it because that was a lot of
- 10:02Speaker 8: cat the younger players that it was a fad, and
- 10:05Speaker 8: they started doing it also, and that's when the helmet
- 10:07Speaker 8: was coming off.
- 10:08Speaker 2: But like you said, it's a fad so so so so,
- 10:11Speaker 2: just to be clear, the mouthpiece thing just wasting equipment.
- 10:17Speaker 2: I'm saying now, I mean, because these programs have to
- 10:20Speaker 2: pay for this stuff.
- 10:21Speaker 1: This stuff isn't free.
- 10:22Speaker 2: People just aren't handing out mouthpieces at football games. They
- 10:27Speaker 2: all this stuff is purchased and handed out and they
- 10:29Speaker 2: have to account for it on the spreadsheet. And so
- 10:33Speaker 2: this dude got two of them. You just got two
- 10:36Speaker 2: of them. You just hang on his face. I mean,
- 10:39Speaker 2: I do nothing with and then somebody saw that and
- 10:42Speaker 2: imitated it.
- 10:42Speaker 1: Please go figure out this for me. I know you
- 10:45Speaker 1: you're good at this kind of dude.
- 10:46Speaker 2: That stuff that drip, Yeah, anything that has anything to
- 10:49Speaker 2: do with drip. That your depart no cap no cap. Yeah, twin,
- 10:56Speaker 2: that's riz twin.
- 10:58Speaker 1: No, I don't know a twin.
- 11:02Speaker 2: I'm just saying, saying, I don't know none of it.
- 11:05Speaker 8: Telling Jared Jared is a twin. He's wanting to be me,
- 11:09Speaker 8: So he's my twin. He came out he was born like.
- 11:11Speaker 1: After Oh and Ries is charisma that Christ So he's
- 11:18Speaker 1: got that.
- 11:18Speaker 2: With swag, No, no, it's it's it's it's it's it's
- 11:22Speaker 2: morphed right, it's more gradual.
- 11:26Speaker 1: Yeah, swag was swagging.
- 11:30Speaker 2: Matured swag is when you have recognized your swag and
- 11:36Speaker 2: have swagged up you You you leveled up on your
- 11:40Speaker 2: swag and.
- 11:41Speaker 8: You come through dripping No no cap came through dripping,
- 11:44Speaker 8: rip drip no cap to.
- 11:47Speaker 2: Mouthe to, and I still think there's a waste of money.
- 11:51Speaker 2: Investigate that, sir with more than sports show.

- 15:06Speaker 10: to the next level.
- 15:09Speaker 2: Eight times.
- 15:29Speaker 1: Welcome back to this boy, shocks Shine, this boy shocks wing.
- 15:32Speaker 1: Getting a good morning to you. Yesterday, something interesting happened
- 15:38Speaker 1: in Denver and it wasn't really centered around the Broncos,
- 15:42Speaker 1: which I did tune into this game because I realized
- 15:46Speaker 1: the only team I hadn't put eyes on this season
- 15:50Speaker 1: was the different Broncos. I hadn't really watched a man
- 15:53Speaker 1: bo Nicks at all to see what was happening out there.
- 15:57Speaker 1: I will see his stats, but not really ever paying
- 15:59Speaker 1: attention to his team or the game is just never
- 16:04Speaker 1: don't really have any interesting players to draw me to them.
- 16:08Speaker 1: And they were playing the Chargers yesterday, the Chargers winning
- 16:12Speaker 1: twenty three to sixteen. They're three and two. The Broncos
- 16:16Speaker 1: are three and three at this moment. The Chargers had
- 16:21Speaker 1: to buy last weekend. That's the difference in the three
- 16:25Speaker 1: and two and three and three. But the most interesting
- 16:28Speaker 1: part of this game was at the beginning head coach
- 16:32Speaker 1: Jim Harball having to be taken back to the tent.
- 16:36Speaker 1: Comes to find out that coach Harball was having some
- 16:41Speaker 1: heart issues. And I'm speaking on this from the standpoint.
- 16:47Speaker 1: I was shocked that the NFL let him coach the
- 16:52Speaker 1: game in the climate of our society now that they
- 16:58Speaker 1: would remember, this isn't half. This is the beginning of
- 17:02Speaker 1: the game, so now this is when the real stress happens.
- 17:08Speaker 1: And I'm shocked that that went on that if he
- 17:11Speaker 1: had to go to the tent, why they didn't pull
- 17:14Speaker 1: him from the game. Well, did they specify?
- 17:18Speaker 2: And again, I'm not a He said he's had this
- 17:21Speaker 2: kind of a rhythmic arrhythmia arrhythmia heart condition twice before.
- 17:27Speaker 2: And see, I was going to say, I'm not a cardiologist,
- 17:29Speaker 2: but there are different types of heart conditions. Arrhythmias are
- 17:34Speaker 2: usually something that can be managed and worked through in
- 17:38Speaker 2: real time situations, but heart being arrested or stopping or
- 17:45Speaker 2: some sort of pausing of the heart is a little
- 17:47Speaker 2: more dangerous. But still in a litigious society like we
- 17:50Speaker 2: got where people would blame you.
- 17:52Speaker 1: How could you let him go out there? You did
- 17:54Speaker 1: this to him.
- 17:55Speaker 2: It's interesting that not only his franchise, but the NFL
- 17:59Speaker 2: didn't have some body on site to go, hey, remembering,
- 18:03Speaker 2: remember the guy from Buffalo, what was his name, Hamlin, Hamlin?
- 18:09Speaker 1: We don't need that, we don't need that.
- 18:12Speaker 2: And everybody kind of accepted that because he's shot.
- 18:17Speaker 6: That he that he came back, that they allowed him
- 18:20Speaker 6: to come coach. I'm not, well, did they know I mean,
- 18:25Speaker 6: I I don't.
- 18:25Speaker 1: Say they took him off the sideline to the tent,
- 18:29Speaker 1: you know, the tent they pull up for the players
- 18:31Speaker 1: to go get tracked out. This is what they diagnosed
- 18:34Speaker 1: right about five minutes before they kicked the ball off.
- 18:38Speaker 1: M hm.
- 18:40Speaker 6: I don't know if there's any kind of rules or
- 18:44Speaker 6: anything in place for that kind of situation. About Let
- 18:49Speaker 6: me put this on you this way, because this is
- 18:50Speaker 6: how I was looking at it. The pilot is walking
- 18:54Speaker 6: down the jetway. Halfway down the jetway, he has a
- 19:00Speaker 6: heart or stroke.
- 19:02Speaker 2: Hold on, man, hold on, hold on something, hold on,
- 19:05Speaker 2: hold on, bro, you having a rhythmia. I think, get
- 19:10Speaker 2: you a couple of ass I'm all right, I'm I
- 19:14Speaker 2: come on, y'all, let's go.
- 19:15Speaker 1: But that's what the co pilot is for. He don't
- 19:18Speaker 1: even want to fly. If I'm the copilot, I'm like, oh,
- 19:22Speaker 1: play boy, play holdo on, man, hold on?
- 19:24Speaker 2: Don't you want to don't you want to at least
- 19:26Speaker 2: sit down for a while. Let's see how this goes
- 19:28Speaker 2: for a few minutes. Think about this now. If people
- 19:31Speaker 2: get exhausted just walking, if they start breathing too hard,
- 19:34Speaker 2: they'll sit you down, tell you to take a moment,
- 19:36Speaker 2: maybe lie down, get yourself some rest. This man had
- 19:40Speaker 2: to be removed from the field to play, to go
- 19:44Speaker 2: and assess and be diagnosed with having a heart issue
- 19:48Speaker 2: happening right now and then they put him back out there.
- 19:52Speaker 2: That seems a little that seems a little bit neglectful
- 19:54Speaker 2: to me. I'm sorry, it just seems it just seems
- 19:57Speaker 2: a little bit as Hamlin.
- 19:59Speaker 1: If Marta Hamlin had gotten up job after what happened,
- 20:04Speaker 1: job to the locker room, you would have been okay
- 20:07Speaker 1: with them coming back.
- 20:11Speaker 6: Well if it looked the same way, No, I wouldn't
- 20:14Speaker 6: be okay with that.
- 20:15Speaker 1: I didn't see the.
- 20:16Speaker 6: Video as first, as far as with Harbaugh, but I
- 20:20Speaker 6: just think they I don't know if there are any
- 20:24Speaker 6: I'm just saying, I don't know if there are any
- 20:25Speaker 6: rules in place with the NFL, Like if you have
- 20:27Speaker 6: something like that, is he allowed to come back it
- 20:31Speaker 6: probably I wouldn't have recommended it in real time that
- 20:34Speaker 6: he you know, finished the game or whatever, but.
- 20:41Speaker 8: Now I would it probably should have regulated him to
- 20:44Speaker 8: the box at least the first half, see what was
- 20:47Speaker 8: going on. Then he could come back to the sideline.
- 20:50Speaker 8: If it was that serious of a matter that they
- 20:53Speaker 8: had to take him to the tent, like I said,
- 20:55Speaker 8: just to monitor him, put some ivs or whatever, some
- 20:58Speaker 8: kind of electrical whatever they do upstairs. Could have been
- 21:02Speaker 8: sitting there still at the game. You know they coaches
- 21:04Speaker 8: just go up here, let's work. It's from the press box.
- 21:06Speaker 8: He did it in Michigan a couple of games. Wouldn't
- 21:08Speaker 8: he suspended? He had to he wasn't, you know, like
- 21:12Speaker 8: satellite coach sports. Why do you think they allowed it?
- 21:16Speaker 8: That's what baffled me. I don't know how they are.
- 21:19Speaker 8: So on one side, if you get changed.
- 21:24Speaker 1: They've changed the kickoff, they've changed the targeting, they've changed
- 21:28Speaker 1: everything else. They got a guy that's up in the
- 21:31Speaker 1: stands or a woman. When I say the word guy,
- 21:34Speaker 1: a person. Excuse me, that's this because people sometimes women
- 21:44Speaker 1: have jobs. A person in the stands that's called a
- 21:47Speaker 1: spotter to see if a player is has a concussion.
- 21:52Speaker 1: His whole job is to identify, call down to the
- 21:56Speaker 1: sideline and say, hey, take that guy out. So for
- 21:59Speaker 1: the a because Harball going to the tent, coming back
- 22:05Speaker 1: and then passing out on the sideline. The first thing
- 22:09Speaker 1: they would have started with is that the Chargers knew
- 22:13Speaker 1: y'all knew that, and they would have went right to
- 22:15Speaker 1: Goodell in the shield and the NFL.
- 22:19Speaker 2: You put him in the line of fire, You put
- 22:21Speaker 2: him in this. You notice a high stress. And that's
- 22:24Speaker 2: the thing. The realities of NFL football, especially at in
- 22:28Speaker 2: his position, is that it's high stress, high visibility, super
- 22:35Speaker 2: stressful job.
- 22:36Speaker 8: But like you said, the for them, there's so many
- 22:40Speaker 8: changes with the NFL.
- 22:40Speaker 1: That's why so many people upset with the NFL.
- 22:42Speaker 8: One thing is you want to clamp down and say, hey,
- 22:45Speaker 8: you can't do this.
- 22:46Speaker 1: Who so many people? Are you upset with the NFL? No,
- 22:51Speaker 1: I'm not okay, then didn't talk from your point of view?
- 22:54Speaker 1: Are you upset with the NFL?
- 22:56Speaker 8: I see, I don't like how the NFL shows favoritism
- 22:59Speaker 8: or or they choose certain like you say, certain things
- 23:02Speaker 8: as far as like you couldn't understand why they didn't
- 23:05Speaker 8: stop Harborall from coaching, but they are something else in
- 23:08Speaker 8: that manner, they would put a stop on it. And
- 23:11Speaker 8: that's why I'm saying that it should be something more uniform.
- 23:14Speaker 8: It's like constantly down the line, if you're gonna pull
- 23:18Speaker 8: this for this, pull it for the same thing.
- 23:20Speaker 1: I thought when they took me to the tent it
- 23:22Speaker 1: was one of his old football injuries or he was
- 23:25Speaker 1: having some kind of stomach.
- 23:26Speaker 2: I thought it was a stomach issue. I thought he
- 23:28Speaker 2: went in there and got a quick little shot. He
- 23:31Speaker 2: got a little one of a little quick little pain
- 23:34Speaker 2: shot for his own. I mean, hardball is six about
- 23:37Speaker 2: sixty two years old and he played about thirteen fourteen
- 23:40Speaker 2: years so stand up on that sideline is probably hard
- 23:43Speaker 2: for him. So I thought that's what he went in there.
- 23:45Speaker 2: You come back telling about we were in there checking
- 23:47Speaker 2: his heart and the whole game is in front of him.
- 23:53Speaker 2: As you said, at least go coach from the box.
- 23:57Speaker 1: Hey, we're not gonna put you behind the well you
- 24:00Speaker 1: drive next, because you you could go into some kind
- 24:02Speaker 1: of heart attack trying to dodge a player that's running
- 24:06Speaker 1: out of bound. We don't know what we're.
- 24:09Speaker 2: Arguing a call. You could stroke out. Yeah, we'll be back.
- 24:12Speaker 1: More to Sports Jock Show Chargers twenty three sixteen over
- 24:16Speaker 1: the Broncos right after this.

- 24:52Speaker 18: Before I was adopted, I felt like I wasn't enough.
- 24:55Speaker 18: I had this hole in my heart and I never
- 24:57Speaker 18: knew what I needed to patch that hole. But when
- 25:00Speaker 18: my mom asks to adopt me, that hole is closed.
- 25:04Speaker 18: It feels so normal now to say that I'm a
- 25:06Speaker 18: part of this family. I am surrounded by love, I
- 25:09Speaker 18: feel safe, and that hole inside of me is gone.
- 25:13Speaker 18: I am whole. I'm finally enough, just as I am.

- 28:08Speaker 1: are you? Day one? Texts me right after the first
- 28:12Speaker 1: game haters at. Yeah, you was part of it. Yes
- 28:18Speaker 1: you did show me a you take Well, I'll do
- 28:22Speaker 1: that after the show. I got audio you so gilty.
- 28:25Speaker 1: You should take the please. But you should just take
- 28:29Speaker 1: the please. I said it was my cousin. I'm saying.
- 28:34Speaker 1: I'm saying now I keep some money on your book.
- 28:36Speaker 2: Show, I keep your commisary stock, but you Finnah get
- 28:39Speaker 2: all us sent up.
- 28:40Speaker 1: Hey kirk Cousin and the Atlanta Falcons. Since that week
- 28:44Speaker 1: one laws are four and one and some of you
- 28:49Speaker 1: still just like I told you, when we get around
- 28:51Speaker 1: to the Baltimore Ravens, I said, and I'm okay with
- 28:56Speaker 1: the recording. Yes, the Ravens gonna be all right. They
- 29:00Speaker 1: look like a team that just hasn't had a preseason,
- 29:04Speaker 1: and that's how they started off. No chemistry between Lamar
- 29:10Speaker 1: Jackson and Dereck Henry. They hadn't really worked out. Yeah,
- 29:14Speaker 1: we don't do nothing of that preseason. We ain't worked out.
- 29:18Speaker 2: I just met him a couple of days ago and
- 29:20Speaker 2: we went out for something to eat, but I ain't
- 29:23Speaker 2: really handed him the ball. And then, I mean, we
- 29:26Speaker 2: read the book. We read the book. I know what
- 29:28Speaker 2: he's supposed to be. Right, you gotta get a feel.
- 29:32Speaker 2: Are you gonna pull it?
- 29:33Speaker 1: Lamar? And you know when he's gonna pull it. It
- 29:36Speaker 1: got to be that natural. And that's what it looks like.
- 29:39Speaker 1: I know, wouldn't to take it from you. When you're
- 29:41Speaker 1: gonna pull it, we gotta get in a rhythm, and
- 29:44Speaker 1: that's what it looks like. This is what you would
- 29:46Speaker 1: imagine you're gonna be faced with when both of these
- 29:49Speaker 1: guys are healthy. Which phase do I stop the Derrick
- 29:53Speaker 1: Henry phase or the Lamar Jackson face, and I said,
- 29:56Speaker 1: get them now, they'll be all right. Don't know, they're
- 29:58Speaker 1: still going, whe going. They just got to play together.
- 30:02Speaker 1: It's the same thing with the Falcons. I'm not telling
- 30:03Speaker 1: you the Falcons are super Bowl bound. I'm telling you
- 30:07Speaker 1: taking game one of a quarterback or any player who
- 30:12Speaker 1: have never played with a bunch of guys other than
- 30:16Speaker 1: in practice, and saying, that's what you're going to define
- 30:21Speaker 1: the season. You see Kirk Cousins and Aaron Rodgers. It
- 30:26Speaker 1: takes two or three games just to get comfortable with
- 30:29Speaker 1: your injury. Yeah, when it's that kind of injury. Anybody
- 30:35Speaker 1: that running back? Have you noticed that a couple of
- 30:39Speaker 1: times that Dallas will let Zeke Elliott run the ball,
- 30:42Speaker 1: which is half of their problem. They don't let nobody
- 30:44Speaker 1: run the ball. Zeke doesn't even play with the knee
- 30:47Speaker 1: brace anymore. It takes the down of time when it's
- 30:53Speaker 1: a progressive. If you if you're able to stay around
- 30:56Speaker 1: long enough, you go from the surgery to the the
- 31:00Speaker 1: knee brace or ankle braids two a year or two
- 31:03Speaker 1: removed from that, people forget you were even hurt. And
- 31:08Speaker 1: that's what it is. The Falcons thirty eight, the Panthers
- 31:10Speaker 1: twenty in this game. The Falcon's now four and two. Uh,
- 31:16Speaker 1: the Carolina Panthers are one in five. They're setting themselves
- 31:20Speaker 1: up for the Travis Hunter sweep Steaks come April. Must
- 31:30Speaker 1: well go and position yourself and get him right, I
- 31:32Speaker 1: suppose Wait, now that's what I'm saying.
- 31:37Speaker 2: Wait, wasn't wasn't wasn't wasn't Carolina just the winner of
- 31:41Speaker 2: the sweep stakes already?
- 31:43Speaker 1: Yeah, but you take you go back. You need to
- 31:45Speaker 1: get a couple of guys when you're that Jacksonville, got
- 31:48Speaker 1: to go back to back.
- 31:49Speaker 2: If if you got two winning a lot of articulars
- 31:53Speaker 2: and you're still trying to figure out how to manage
- 31:55Speaker 2: your money. The problem ain't the money, baby, You see
- 31:58Speaker 2: what I'm saying, ain't the money. The money ain't the problem.
- 32:02Speaker 2: The money do what the money supposed to do. You,
- 32:05Speaker 2: as the person who has the money, is messing it up.
- 32:07Speaker 2: I can't imagine.
- 32:08Speaker 1: And I say this from a place of being a
- 32:11Speaker 1: j Ets Jets just Jets fan. We've done the same thing.
- 32:16Speaker 2: We've had them winning lottery ticket season after season, and
- 32:19Speaker 2: each time somehow fumbled the bag. And so we just
- 32:23Speaker 2: got to see how this is going to play out,
- 32:26Speaker 2: in my opinion, because Carolina, we thought that your problems
- 32:31Speaker 2: were over at the beginning of this season, and it
- 32:34Speaker 2: seems like they've only gotten worked.
- 32:35Speaker 21: Well.
- 32:35Speaker 1: They're one in five team. Yeah, some people sometimes you're
- 32:39Speaker 1: one in five and you're not actually a one in
- 32:42Speaker 1: five team. But y'all won in five because that's what
- 32:44Speaker 1: y'all really ought to be. That's what Yeah, that's what
- 32:46Speaker 1: they have. They are one in five team. But the
- 32:50Speaker 1: Falcons now in almost three consecutive weeks of beating beating
- 32:55Speaker 1: their division opponents three and zero. Right, they beat the
- 32:59Speaker 1: Bucks and the Saints and now the Panthers, So that
- 33:02Speaker 1: gives him a big advantage. Don't know where the rest
- 33:04Speaker 1: of the season is gonna go. We got a lot
- 33:06Speaker 1: of football left eleven games, but already have that notch
- 33:11Speaker 1: on your belt now. Gives you a lot of confidence.
- 33:13Speaker 2: As Kirk Cousins, as you walk through Atlanta, you got
- 33:16Speaker 2: an attitude. Hey Kirk, get on my face. Nah, he
- 33:18Speaker 2: swagged on the surf. Nobody, Hey Kirk, you wanted some wings.
- 33:21Speaker 2: I don't want no wings. Get on my face, man.
- 33:24Speaker 2: You used tucking trash two weeks ago. We'll get off
- 33:27Speaker 2: me and be trying to hug me. Kirk cousin probably
- 33:30Speaker 2: don't eat lemon, pepperwin. It's probably like some kind.
- 33:34Speaker 1: Of almond, almondan salmon or something like that.
- 33:37Speaker 2: Yeah, he looks like one of those guys just Blanche Broccoli,
- 33:41Speaker 2: right right.
- 33:41Speaker 1: No one really looks up when he walks into the club.
- 33:44Speaker 1: But you know what I'm saying, Big Kenny, you did
- 33:47Speaker 1: the assignment? Command you? Greg has not? Oh is he
- 33:51Speaker 1: on his page? We were all supposed to try the
- 33:55Speaker 1: new chicken Big Mac that came out Big Mac on Thursday.
- 34:00Speaker 1: I said, everybody go out and get a chicken pick back. Yeah,
- 34:05Speaker 1: because we got recordings.
- 34:06Speaker 2: You mean to say that you didn't know it was
- 34:08Speaker 2: an assignment the way the way he said, okay, so it.
- 34:11Speaker 1: Wasn't on the syllabus.
- 34:13Speaker 2: Wait, now, I didn't get in the class when we
- 34:16Speaker 2: were taking notes when he said, okay, guys, this.
- 34:19Speaker 1: Is an assignment. We're all gonna go out and try
- 34:23Speaker 1: the chicken Pickmac that didn't registers.
- 34:25Speaker 2: May be an assignment, not for me, all right, And
- 34:28Speaker 2: I've been there. I've been there, command. I'm saying, I
- 34:32Speaker 2: ain't criticized. I've been there. Where somebody says, that's why
- 34:35Speaker 2: I said in the picture. Yeah, he did, has evidence.
- 34:38Speaker 1: I wouldn't have been sending other fifty year old men
- 34:42Speaker 1: a picture of food. I only sent it to let
- 34:45Speaker 1: you know that I had taken the assignment and went.
- 34:49Speaker 1: Big Kenny sent a.
- 34:50Speaker 8: Picture of himself with me in the picture. I didn't
- 34:53Speaker 8: get your picture of yours. I got Big Kenny.
- 34:55Speaker 2: I was in the picture with the food because I
- 34:58Speaker 2: wanted to get credit for the assignment.
- 35:01Speaker 1: Excuse me, no, I was I heard when you was
- 35:04Speaker 1: talking about that. Well, I didn't send it the picture
- 35:06Speaker 1: of you them too, because you were not here. You absent,
- 35:10Speaker 1: so I sent them to.
- 35:12Speaker 2: I didn't give you the assignment for the semester.
- 35:17Speaker 1: But Big Kenny, I went out. Now, the Chicken Big
- 35:21Speaker 1: Mac came out. The Chicken Big Mac came out on Thursday.
- 35:28Speaker 1: Now it's so popular, or at at least being advertised
- 35:31Speaker 1: to McDonald's. They put it on the sphere out in Vegas,
- 35:35Speaker 1: which is a big dollar advertising thing that they do
- 35:41Speaker 1: out in Vegas, to describe it's two all it's two
- 35:47Speaker 1: huge chicken nuggets. All they did was they took the
- 35:50Speaker 1: chicken nugget smashed Burgert it and smashed it and made
- 35:54Speaker 1: it bigger to fit the bun. They took two chicken nuggets,
- 35:58Speaker 1: made them bigger and put them with the two the
- 36:03Speaker 1: sauce and the big mat So.
- 36:04Speaker 8: They didn't use the chicken sandwich that they usually sell
- 36:07Speaker 8: you with the chicken sandwich.
- 36:08Speaker 2: Didn't you just hear what the man said. He said,
- 36:10Speaker 2: two chicken nuggets, that ain't a chicken sandwich. You got
- 36:13Speaker 2: to pay attention. See that's what's coming to class does
- 36:16Speaker 2: for you. You can keep up this, stay with us
- 36:19Speaker 2: to know it ain't the chicken, and it would have
- 36:21Speaker 2: made more sense.
- 36:22Speaker 1: I agree with you. It made the chicken that they
- 36:24Speaker 1: put on the regular chicken sandwich. No, it's not that
- 36:27Speaker 1: that they put on the redl If you imagine the
- 36:30Speaker 1: chicken nugget right into a bigger patty and smash it
- 36:35Speaker 1: into a round patty, that's a file a chicken fil ay,
- 36:38Speaker 1: that's it. And they put that on the burger and
- 36:42Speaker 1: there you go.
- 36:45Speaker 2: They add that to the special sauce, let his cheese, pickles,
- 36:48Speaker 2: onions on a sesame seed bond.
- 36:49Speaker 1: It's something you get, at least for me. You take
- 36:52Speaker 1: two bikees and then you throw the rest away. As
- 36:55Speaker 1: as far as it went for me.
- 36:56Speaker 2: It's something that you get and you take a couple
- 36:59Speaker 2: of bites and you go, I should have never been this,
- 37:02Speaker 2: And then you go, but I didn't paid for it already.
- 37:04Speaker 2: Now you finish it up. So you finish it because
- 37:08Speaker 2: I didn't paid for it. But it was not I
- 37:12Speaker 2: think I got my grade. You know what I'm saying.
- 37:15Speaker 2: I'm not gonna graduate at the top of the class though.
- 37:18Speaker 2: This is yeah, but I did the work. Yeah, commands.
- 37:21Speaker 2: I'm very disappointed over here. And you know, because I
- 37:23Speaker 2: know your guy that usually is a follow through guy.

- 38:15Speaker 2: But see, you got it. Like I said, you can't
- 38:16Speaker 2: come in like what's on their secret menu?
- 38:19Speaker 1: Man, he don't even know. He's just you don't know.

- 38:44Speaker 2: You know they got graduate at the top of my
- 38:46Speaker 2: class from waffle House University. You know they got there
- 38:49Speaker 2: was any secret waffle House to going on. But sir,
- 38:55Speaker 2: you're on the witness stand real quick before we go
- 38:57Speaker 2: to break. What's on their secret menu?
- 38:59Speaker 8: Like you that Texas melt the double cheese, you can
- 39:03Speaker 8: get it on a hamburger bun instead of toasted. It's
- 39:06Speaker 8: certain sandwiches you can get them on certain different It's
- 39:09Speaker 8: not true.
- 39:09Speaker 1: It's not on a dark menu. I'm telling I'm telling

- 41:32Speaker 24: I'm Ryan Blaney, a third generational race car driver, and

- 41:41Speaker 24: to follow on his tracks. But when my grandpa was
- 41:43Speaker 24: diagnosed with Alzheimer's, it was a very unexpected bump in
- 41:46Speaker 24: the road for us. I've learned a lot on this
- 41:48Speaker 24: journey with my Grandpa Lou, and the memories of my
- 41:50Speaker 24: grandpa will always be with me. It's important to notice
- 41:53Speaker 24: if older family members are acting differently, experiencing problems with
- 41:56Speaker 24: their memory, or having trouble with routine tasks. Talking about

- 43:01Speaker 25: sing even.
- 43:03Speaker 1: Jenny, Welcome back to this hoy Shock show. I'm the worshock.
- 43:08Speaker 1: Wayne Candy, Good morning to you out there and listening, Layn.
- 43:12Speaker 1: Let's get this on out the way. The Cowboys yesterday
- 43:16Speaker 1: getting destroyed on Jerry Jones's eighty second birthday. The Cowboys
- 43:24Speaker 1: are oh and three at home now. The one thing,
- 43:27Speaker 1: regardless of their record and regardless of whether they have
- 43:32Speaker 1: reached the heights that we have inspired for them, they
- 43:38Speaker 1: have been a good team playing at home this season.
- 43:41Speaker 1: So far they are oh and three at home. They
- 43:44Speaker 1: are three and three overall. They lost to the Lions
- 43:48Speaker 1: forty seven to nine. I saw some guys out there
- 43:52Speaker 1: quit on the team. Two things I've pointed out that's
- 43:57Speaker 1: wrong with the Cowboys. First, Jerry Jones has been in
- 44:03Speaker 1: complete control and dominance too long. He's been in that.
- 44:09Speaker 1: It's one thing to take over for a year or
- 44:11Speaker 1: so when you don't think you have the right people,
- 44:14Speaker 1: but to deem yourself owner GM, player, personnel, captain, chief director, everything. Basically,
- 44:25Speaker 1: Jerry Jones is the puppet master. He hires head coaches
- 44:29Speaker 1: and don't and he really doesn't let them bring their
- 44:34Speaker 1: own coaches, right, he just hires the head coach and
- 44:38Speaker 1: he feels in the blanks of everything else. That's the
- 44:42Speaker 1: old conversation from Jimmy Jones and the Big Tuna Bill
- 44:47Speaker 1: Parcells where they were saying, Jerry Jones don't let you
- 44:51Speaker 1: shop for your own food. He wants you to cook,
- 44:54Speaker 1: but he don't let you go food shopping, right right,
- 44:58Speaker 1: he was making that making that reference from that, Jerry
- 45:02Speaker 1: wants to give you the pieces.
- 45:04Speaker 2: Yeah you want chicken cord on blue, but you want
- 45:06Speaker 2: me to use can chicken.
- 45:08Speaker 1: So this is where they are. And then unfortunately they're
- 45:13Speaker 1: so powerful being the number one franchise. Really, I know
- 45:18Speaker 1: in America, maybe even in the world, the evaluation of
- 45:22Speaker 1: the team is somewhere about five six billion dollars. Cowboy
- 45:27Speaker 1: Nation is strong, almost thirty years removed from a Super Bowl,
- 45:35Speaker 1: and they're just as strong as though. I mean think
- 45:38Speaker 1: about their strength and power as Cowboy Nation is stronger
- 45:42Speaker 1: than the Patriots, who are the Chiefs. Yes, six times,
- 45:48Speaker 1: six times, there is no stronger than the Cowboys. None,
- 45:53Speaker 1: And they they can't even be convinced. They are impervious
- 45:58Speaker 1: to paint that they haven't won a Super Bowl since
- 46:00Speaker 1: ninety seven.
- 46:01Speaker 2: They are impervious. You ain't winning. Bullets just bounce off
- 46:06Speaker 2: from ting ting.
- 46:07Speaker 1: So at this point, forty seven to nine, the Cowboys
- 46:14Speaker 1: down a couple of players. Sure effort direction. This idea
- 46:20Speaker 1: that Dak is supposed to throw the ball and win
- 46:24Speaker 1: every game. Dak is a play action quarterback. Well, to
- 46:27Speaker 1: get play action, you gotta run the ball. So y'all
- 46:31Speaker 1: don't run the ball seventeen total times. Yes, I'm a
- 46:37Speaker 1: total plays seventeen times. They threw the ball forty four times.
- 46:44Speaker 1: Now listen, now, listen now, And.
- 46:46Speaker 2: What I'm saying better balance, And I'm saying that would
- 46:49Speaker 2: make sense? How many runs seventeen runs and forty four
- 46:53Speaker 2: throws if you didn't have a Zeke as a running back.
- 46:57Speaker 2: Zeke might not be in his prime, but surely he
- 47:01Speaker 2: can give you more than seventeen carries in a game.
- 47:04Speaker 2: But is the coach who's actually on the sideline the
- 47:08Speaker 2: one determining that, or is it Jerry Jones up there
- 47:11Speaker 2: going no no, let Dak do it. And I don't
- 47:15Speaker 2: understand how even sometimes when it comes to the Cowboys,
- 47:19Speaker 2: you can see what the winning formula is and they
- 47:22Speaker 2: just won't put those two ingredients.
- 47:24Speaker 1: Well, they want to win a certain way. I think
- 47:27Speaker 1: when you say Comanche Cowboy Nation doesn't want to just win,
- 47:32Speaker 1: You want to win with flair. Would you always tell
- 47:35Speaker 1: when you say that about your team?
- 47:37Speaker 6: I think there's a you want they want the style points, okay.
- 47:44Speaker 12: And.
- 47:46Speaker 6: In a where the you know, the quarterback is the
- 47:50Speaker 6: since that's such a prominent position as far as with
- 47:53Speaker 6: the franchise wants to be like this quarterback brought us here.
- 48:00Speaker 1: Oh, we want to give him the opportunity to do that.
- 48:04Speaker 6: And you can say that probably maybe with other teams too,
- 48:08Speaker 6: that if you win a title by running the ball,
- 48:11Speaker 6: it's not okay, yeah you won, but it's not it's
- 48:15Speaker 6: not cool fun.
- 48:17Speaker 2: Well, okay, I get that. Like you want to get
- 48:20Speaker 2: the best looking girl so that you can show her
- 48:22Speaker 2: off at the dance, but the key to that is
- 48:25Speaker 2: first asking her to go out with you, Like let's
- 48:28Speaker 2: get the first part done. Let's win first, then we
- 48:32Speaker 2: could throw some style onto the win. Dallas doesn't seem
- 48:36Speaker 2: like if i can't get the stylish win, then I'm
- 48:39Speaker 2: not going to win at all. Get an ugly win
- 48:41Speaker 2: every now and then build your confidence up.
- 48:44Speaker 1: Well, you're j Ets.
- 48:46Speaker 2: Jets.
- 48:46Speaker 1: Jets Jets suffer from the same thing that the Cowboys do. Yeah,
- 48:50Speaker 1: they want Aaron Rodgers to be every quarterback that organization
- 48:57Speaker 1: has been cast into the role, the lead role Kyleel
- 49:02Speaker 1: no matter how good they've been, whether it was Geno Smith,
- 49:05Speaker 1: Mark Sanchez, the last guy that was there the last
- 49:10Speaker 1: couple of years, what was his name, the little rookie Donald,
- 49:13Speaker 1: no matter who comes there, they want him to be
- 49:18Speaker 1: Kyleel's son of Jorell be that kind of player. They don't.
- 49:23Speaker 1: They are not cool with just the winning. If you
- 49:27Speaker 1: can't win with flair, and that's where the Cowboys so
- 49:32Speaker 1: their game plan is more of let's win with Flair.
- 49:35Speaker 2: So so, something that I've seen with the coverage of
- 49:39Speaker 2: my j T S JE Jets over the weekend is
- 49:42Speaker 2: on Thursday of last week's show, I asked what sense
- 49:46Speaker 2: did it make to fire Solo when they did because
- 49:51Speaker 2: of the record and all and other people are asking
- 49:54Speaker 2: like it doesn't really seem to add up. Why do
- 49:56Speaker 2: you think that the Jets owner is now taking pages
- 49:59Speaker 2: out of Jerry Oones book? Hey man, I'm grown, I'm
- 50:02Speaker 2: gonna do it the way I want to do it.
- 50:04Speaker 1: We'll be back. You can talk about that right after
- 50:06Speaker 1: this break.
- 50:07Speaker 20: We couldn't never be.
- 50:21Speaker 2: All of oys.
- 50:25Speaker 9: John't Bowl, Wayne Born of the Sports Jot Show with
- 50:27Speaker 9: Wayne Gantidias coming up next.
- 50:30Speaker 1: Hurting the game.
- 50:32Speaker 21: We tough it out, feel exhausted, we push on feeling down.
- 50:37Speaker 14: We pull ourselves up by the bootstraps.
- 50:40Speaker 21: But there are times when bootstraps aren't enough, when stress
- 50:44Speaker 21: gets to us and we need to talk to someone

- 53:22Speaker 11: You ain't make the lead people play and shovel when
- 53:26Speaker 11: it comes to be in It's just me, myself.
- 53:29Speaker 7: And the eyes.
- 53:30Speaker 1: What much of this one shock shot? This one shock
- 53:33Speaker 1: wing candy to night. I remember Monday night football is
- 53:36Speaker 1: going the second the l DS Stars tonight correct the yes, yes,
- 53:44Speaker 1: l s c s. The n l c S started
- 53:48Speaker 1: last night, Yes, Dodgers putting it on the Mets. And
- 53:51Speaker 1: you know the baseball gods. Really, weren't the Dodgers against
- 53:55Speaker 1: the Yankees? Well, that would be the first selection. Are
- 53:59Speaker 1: the baseball guy, it's the people who work in Vegas.
- 54:02Speaker 1: It could be, I mean, because we don't know him personally.
- 54:07Speaker 1: Some are in heaven and are in vasas. It's a satellite.
- 54:12Speaker 2: It's a satellite location, you know, because Heaven's a long
- 54:15Speaker 2: way off if they need somebody on the ground.
- 54:18Speaker 1: So that would be option number one when you think
- 54:20Speaker 1: about it. They were like a Dodgers, so he had
- 54:23Speaker 1: Tony and Aaron Judge battle with the Yankees. If they
- 54:26Speaker 1: couldn't get that, you know, they could still win with
- 54:29Speaker 1: the Mats. So the Met's Dodgers series where the Dodgers
- 54:33Speaker 1: won last night nine to zero. Either one of them
- 54:38Speaker 1: sets up well because either we can do the Dodger
- 54:42Speaker 1: Yankee or we can do the subway series between. Yeah,
- 54:45Speaker 1: we could do a both coast or we could do
- 54:48Speaker 1: a subway. So now you tell about a ticket that
- 54:49Speaker 1: would be expensive. It's a both Coasts Subways subway series.
- 54:54Speaker 2: Just to get on in the subway, five hundred dollars.
- 54:58Speaker 2: If you want to sit down eighty five, you're gonna
- 55:01Speaker 2: stand up. It's gonna be eight g but.
- 55:03Speaker 1: The a l CS starts tonight, Yankees versus who they
- 55:09Speaker 1: played the Garden. The Guardians the worst, one of the
- 55:11Speaker 1: worst names ever. It's right there with Commanders. Yes, the
- 55:15Speaker 1: Cleveland Guardians. And why did they even? You think that's fake?
- 55:20Speaker 1: Don't Why did they do that?
- 55:21Speaker 2: That sounds like a team that they made for TV movie? Yes, yes, movie,
- 55:29Speaker 2: but what was that movie?
- 55:30Speaker 16: That?
- 55:31Speaker 2: And some of these uniforms are looking like uniforms from
- 55:35Speaker 2: any given Sunday travel. You know, I'm saying some of
- 55:38Speaker 2: these football uniforms look like any given Sunday uniforms. And
- 55:43Speaker 2: some of these names are what was the one with
- 55:46Speaker 2: wild thing in it? Uh, Charlie major League? That's the Guardians?
- 55:52Speaker 2: Are you serious? Why did they Why did they do
- 55:55Speaker 2: that to the teams who used to have Native American
- 55:58Speaker 2: representation and names. They took the hard warrior, fierce imagery
- 56:04Speaker 2: away and just made it as well.
- 56:06Speaker 6: They try to make it connect like is there a
- 56:08Speaker 6: series of bridges in the Cleveland called the Guardian Bridge?
- 56:13Speaker 6: It like they tried to make it the name connect
- 56:14Speaker 6: to the same.
- 56:15Speaker 1: It could have worked harder. I just think that's all
- 56:17Speaker 1: they could come out.
- 56:18Speaker 5: That was it.
- 56:19Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm saying, that's all two and fifty years of
- 56:22Speaker 2: history and that's all they came. They could have come
- 56:24Speaker 2: up with the Browns baseball club, you know what I'm saying.
- 56:27Speaker 2: I would have felt better about that, the Browns other sport.
- 56:31Speaker 2: It's something that the Guardians isn't doing it.
- 56:34Speaker 1: But that game is today and the NLCS as well,
- 56:37Speaker 1: so the match. Remember it is baseball, so they don't
- 56:41Speaker 1: wait five days to play. The play two or three
- 56:43Speaker 1: games in a row. Change city, play two three games
- 56:46Speaker 1: in a row. Change you know, that's how they do.
- 56:48Speaker 1: So both championship series are today. But can it ask
- 56:54Speaker 1: you a question with the Jets. The Jets don't have
- 56:56Speaker 1: a winning team. They don't have a winning team. That's
- 57:00Speaker 1: why I was saying on Thursday, the team that was
- 57:02Speaker 1: supposed to do all the winning was what they had
- 57:04Speaker 1: last year. You don't really have the same team right right?
- 57:11Speaker 2: And I guess what I get confused is you are
- 57:15Speaker 2: a gentleman who played professional football, have been retired for
- 57:20Speaker 2: a while, and you can look at the game and
- 57:23Speaker 2: know that the Jets owner there every day, he still
- 57:28Speaker 2: be there like he ain't retired or nothing. He'd be
- 57:31Speaker 2: going to work. How come, he can't see that like
- 57:34Speaker 2: you work there with these people.
- 57:36Speaker 1: He did see it. That's why he got rid of
- 57:38Speaker 1: Robert Solo. He started the new movement, and this is
- 57:41Speaker 1: going to be the new movement, and then at the
- 57:43Speaker 1: end of the season we're going to probably find and
- 57:47Speaker 1: start over that. I'm quite sure they. I don't know
- 57:49Speaker 1: what Aaron Rodgers contract. I think it was just a
- 57:51Speaker 1: two year deal, right.
- 57:52Speaker 2: Right, So maybe I maybe I thought I bought this
- 57:57Speaker 2: not knowing I already had one, or that I really
- 58:00Speaker 2: couldn't fit it, or that it wouldn't fit in the house.
- 58:02Speaker 1: And at some point I'm gonna just have to give
- 58:04Speaker 1: it away and go with a different idea. Yeah, I'm
- 58:09Speaker 1: just gonna have to move on to a different direction.
- 58:11Speaker 1: One thing I want to ask you guys for in
- 58:13Speaker 1: this first hour was about NFL field goals. If they're
- 58:19Speaker 1: going to be kicking these field goals, we have to
- 58:23Speaker 1: change the rules. And I'm not even a big rule changer,
- 58:27Speaker 1: but we have to go back to the old rule.
- 58:30Speaker 1: The ball has to start at the twenty. These guys
- 58:35Speaker 1: are gonna be think about it right now. If we
- 58:38Speaker 1: kick the ball, all the ball goes and ends on
- 58:40Speaker 1: the team gets the ball at the thirty correct, Yes,
- 58:42Speaker 1: these guys are kicking field goals from the forty. That
- 58:45Speaker 1: means if I get thirty yards, I'm in field goal range.
- 58:50Speaker 1: Most teams now have somebody that can kick the ball
- 58:53Speaker 1: sixty sixty then have some left on the kick, so
- 59:00Speaker 1: you don't have to create thirty yards of offense for
- 59:03Speaker 1: a field goal attempt. Three first down.
- 59:06Speaker 6: You'd see that, you think they're trying to It looks
- 59:09Speaker 6: like they're trying to, uh get more points scored.
- 59:14Speaker 1: If we make a cover under make.
- 59:18Speaker 6: It easier to get in the field goal range, that
- 59:20Speaker 6: means more points at three points.
- 59:24Speaker 1: Well, yes, the NFL, the NBA, Major League, all three
- 59:28Speaker 1: major sports. I don't know about hockey. I haven't looked
- 59:30Speaker 1: at the rule changes, but our three major sports have
- 59:33Speaker 1: changed everything to generate more offense. Every rule they've changed
- 59:38Speaker 1: in the last decade has been about trying to create
- 59:42Speaker 1: more offense. Doesn't make the watching of the game better.
- 59:46Speaker 2: Right now, but but more offense and unfair advantage two
- 59:50Speaker 2: different things. Unfair advantage seem like I'm giving you. I mean, literally,
- 59:56Speaker 2: all you got to do is get about thirty yards
- 59:59Speaker 2: and you you got three points.
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: You get. You got a guy out here who's longest
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: sixty one, that's that buffalo, while you got you got
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: a dude down here who could do sixty one. So
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: from the forty you good.
- 1:00:12Speaker 2: Now we've seen games be won by just three points.
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: Those were the only points we got in the game.
- 1:00:20Speaker 2: And that's what I'm sharing.
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: If they're gonna be kicking from this far distance, then
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: I think we go back to the Overrulee High school.
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: You kick the ball and ends on. The ball still
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: goes to the twenty same with college. I think it
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: goes to the twenty five. I don't know, why would
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: I return the ball if I'm gonna get it at
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: the thirty. I got a cup of the spread.
- 1:00:43Speaker 6: Well, you see some teams now they kick it short
- 1:00:46Speaker 6: so that there has to be a return, so they
- 1:00:49Speaker 6: give up.
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: We'll be back more to Sports Chalk Show right after this.
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: Ain't not seeing you before?
- 1:00:55Speaker 7: I think I remember those sky spy Spy Spy, don't
- 1:01:06Speaker 7: go away.
- 1:01:06Speaker 9: More of the Sports Jock Show with Wayne Daan videos
- 1:01:09Speaker 9: coming up next, And.
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: Now let's talk about something exciting. Life insurance.
- 1:01:14Speaker 10: Three quarters of Americans believe that coverage represents a critical
- 1:01:18Speaker 10: piece of financial security, Yet only forty nine percent actually
- 1:01:21Speaker 10: have life insurance.
- 1:01:23Speaker 27: When I was twenty five, me and my wife were
- 1:01:24Speaker 27: just getting started with our family and thought we lived
- 1:01:26Speaker 27: forever life insurance.
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: What's the last thing on my mind? What about you?
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: Will you be leaving benefits or bills?
- 1:01:32Speaker 27: When I was forty, with a kid in college and
- 1:01:34Speaker 27: bills piling up, I was worried how my family will
- 1:01:36Speaker 27: survive without me. That's what I'm in an appointment with
- 1:01:38Speaker 27: the insurance informant.
- 1:01:39Speaker 10: Information gives you power, and life insurance gives your family
- 1:01:42Speaker 10: security no matter what stage of life you're in.
- 1:01:45Speaker 27: Now that I'm older, I don't worry about whether I
- 1:01:47Speaker 27: leave my family with bills or benefits.
- 1:01:49Speaker 10: The answer is easy, whether you're twenty five or fifty,
- 1:01:52Speaker 10: whether you earn a little or a lot, All you
- 1:01:54Speaker 10: need is the insurance informant to help you build a
- 1:01:56Speaker 10: foundation of security, because without you, your family have two options,
- 1:02:01Speaker 10: benefits or bills? Which legacy will you lead behind? Log
- 1:02:05Speaker 10: on today benefits or bills dot com? That's benefits orbills
- 1:02:10Speaker 10: dot com.
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: Hear that.
- 1:02:16Speaker 28: That's the sound of your life, perfectly imperfect, beating in
- 1:02:22Speaker 28: rhythm to the world you've created. But every time you
- 1:02:27Speaker 28: drive after drinking, music gets drowned out. Your life sounds
- 1:02:34Speaker 28: pretty great. Don't let a buzz ruin it. Buzz driving
- 1:02:38Speaker 28: is drunk driving. Don't drive buzzed A message from Nits
- 1:02:41Speaker 28: in the ad council.
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: Enough, I don't why share and we hold the world
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: ransom for excuse me while I whip this ouse broadcasting
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: live and it led to your ja to this. This
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: is the sports Shop with Wayne.
- 1:03:05Speaker 3: You may.
- 1:03:11Speaker 2: Come to five, comes.
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: Comes to min is just I'm doing Yeah, I'm gonna
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: go on the way you made Tigan, Welcome back to
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: this one Shock show, This one Shock Wayne Candy, Good
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: morning to you out there this thing land. If you
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: missed any of that first hour, please after the show
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: go to Apple Podcast, Amazon Podcast, dser iHeart Radio, Spotify
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: and catch us on the replay Magic Greg Bad producer
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: Big Kenny in the building this morning, uh NFL Action
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: College Action this past weekend, the Buffalo's of Colorado losing
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: and Travis Hunter, our superstar out of Georgia that's out
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: there as well, left the game late in the second
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: quarter dealing with a shoulder injury. The Buffs are four
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: and two. You better get a look at him now
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: because another one or two losses and char Duer will
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: start having some kind of hamstring problem and not play.
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: So if you want to get a little look at him,
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: because after the national picture is out for them, why
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: would they play. They're not going to play in a
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: bowl game. We already know that the star players. Colorado
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: is gonna make a bowl But Shuder Sanders, Shiloh Sanders,
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: Travis Hunter. I don't know about the Joe Horn junior
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: guy or what is what is his name, Jimmy Horn junior.
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: I don't know about him. Is he a senior or junior?
- 1:04:57Speaker 29: Is he?
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: I mean, can he make it? Can he leave and go?
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: I'm okay about that, but I'm just getting everybody if
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: you wait, if they lose another game or two and
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: you're waiting around, might want to cancel your ticket because
- 1:05:11Speaker 2: those guys won't be playing game in eleven and twelve
- 1:05:16Speaker 2: if it's nothing on the line for them.
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: You know, all of a sudden, you know, my back
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: things you can't really dispute. My back will start hurting
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: all of a sudden, and she do her you know,
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: I know my body.
- 1:05:30Speaker 2: You'll be wondering why he's at some some game or
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: some basketball games because he's left he's at the Nuggets. Yeah,
- 1:05:42Speaker 2: because he has left Colorado. But losing to Kansas State
- 1:05:47Speaker 2: in a good game the other night, I caught the
- 1:05:50Speaker 2: first half of and I fell asleep on the second
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: half of it. But just giving you a little warning
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: with that, the Alabama Criston tie tried to bounce back,
- 1:06:01Speaker 2: and they did. They won the game against South Carolina,
- 1:06:05Speaker 2: both teams losing in big ways the week before getting
- 1:06:10Speaker 2: kind of back on track was Bama. And it's just
- 1:06:12Speaker 2: a tough road sometimes.
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: It really. That Georgia win just distractions. I already know
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: what happened. Any and every NIL sponsor came calling needed
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: an instant commercial this week. Didn't nobody go to class
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: to sleep any of that. I can imagine everyone that
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: had any kind of NIL deal after they beat Georgia.
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: Those people came every car wash, every little nickel and
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: dime store wanted some kind of come down here and
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: sign some autographs. Because you're not on the hook for much,
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: but whatever you were on the hook for. After the
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: Georgia win, it was time to cash in. We need
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: to get this commercial right now.
- 1:07:07Speaker 2: You said, didn't nobody go to war class you speak
- 1:07:12Speaker 2: educational part. Remember student athletes, what is this you speak of?
- 1:07:16Speaker 2: This the part where you're at the student they're getting
- 1:07:20Speaker 2: the head start on the know I'm I'm trying to
- 1:07:25Speaker 2: wrap my head around athletes. What they're getting a head
- 1:07:28Speaker 2: start on, you know, not being students. They're taking the
- 1:07:32Speaker 2: student part out of the student athlete. So that's cool
- 1:07:39Speaker 2: that I think that's cool to do when you in college.
- 1:07:42Speaker 2: That I mean, you know, breaks up the monotony of
- 1:07:44Speaker 2: personal appearances.
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: In IL signing w NBA Finals Game two yesterday, the
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: liberty tying the series one one enjoyed. This next year,
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: the w NBA has decided they're going to go to
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: a seven game series. So right after I just applauded
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: them of having these quick, short series. And the thing
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: that you love about the WNBA, the thing that makes
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: them great are the things that they seem to be
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: about to erase with expansion. What makes the WNBA great
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: is basically just imagine if the NBA was only fifteen teams,
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: then all the teams would be super teams. Think about
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: it now, if you cut in, all the teams that
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: would play every night would be super teams. Yeah, if
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: you consolidated, and that's what the WNBA has like they
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: have it's five number one picks against five number one picks.
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: That's that's how they're playing these games. When you listen
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: to them, they're telling you that every almost it was
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: some stat they were saying, like ninety five percent of
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: the league were all like top ten players. They were
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: all all Americans. That's the luxury of it. Now you're
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: about to add the Valkyries, which is a terrible name.
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: It's right up there with the Guardians, Guardians, and Valkyries.
- 1:09:28Speaker 2: The people who came up with Guardians, whatever ad agency
- 1:09:32Speaker 2: came up with Guardians, they worked on Valkyries.
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: San Francisco Valkyries, Golden State, the Golden State Valkyries. Yeah,
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: that rolls off the tongue so much. Valkyries were an
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: ancient Uh. They're kind of like that amazone, the female Viking,
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: female version of a Viking.
- 1:09:55Speaker 2: Oh okay, right, But but they weren't like in addition
- 1:10:00Speaker 2: to what they were, they were their own separate like Amazons,
- 1:10:04Speaker 2: they were their own separate race. Supersion of the superwl
- 1:10:08Speaker 2: I mean, wonder Woman her base based kind of like that. Yeah,
- 1:10:14Speaker 2: So just the name of them, the slobby people, wonder
- 1:10:17Speaker 2: woman or women or something. Say no, because then you
- 1:10:20Speaker 2: say women, women is identifying Amazon. Yeah she heard.
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: Well they went with the Valkyries. Yeah, that starts next year. Unfortunately,
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: they've also decided to go to a seven game in
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: w n B A finals, which no one will watch,
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: and they've decided to go to a forty four game
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: schedule which no one will watch.
- 1:10:45Speaker 2: Slow down, we just we just you just found expand immediately,
- 1:10:49Speaker 2: you just found a little love.
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: You just so, they only added once.
- 1:10:53Speaker 2: Just slow down, pump your breaks, dude, pulled your chair
- 1:10:57Speaker 2: out and opened the door for you, and.
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: Now you sit out. This is where you started years ago.
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: This is why you failed. Some of us are old
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: enough to remember the original w n b A where
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: you started with about twenty five teams called the Glory League.
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: Your sex is all that we're just we're doing real
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: reporting here. It was you will just be popping. Yeah,
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: and then that ends up being all I've ever known
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: it to be. Is the w n B A. It
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: was least leslie those young ladies, Cynthia Cooper, the coming
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: I was talking about when Charlotte had a team. It
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: was just it was a w NBA. We don't have time.
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: I don't know what you're talking about. That was the same.
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: They took that league, took those teams and bade them
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: into the w n B. A.
- 1:11:52Speaker 6: No, there was no There was no talking about a
- 1:11:55Speaker 6: different league altogether. Charlie had Charlotte had a w NBA
- 1:12:01Speaker 6: team called the Steam. But you talking about a different league, okay,
- 1:12:07Speaker 6: Or you could.
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: Research it and see if you're true.
- 1:12:10Speaker 8: No, if it's if it was a different league, but
- 1:12:12Speaker 8: you had the same women playing, and then they.
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: It might have been some of the same players, but
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: that was a different league.
- 1:12:20Speaker 2: Okay, I'm wrong. It happens a lot, I'm saying, and
- 1:12:28Speaker 2: I'm not being critical. I'm just saying, in the realm
- 1:12:31Speaker 2: of being wrong, nobody does, sir.
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: Yeah. Cameron and Kayden, the Boozer twins, have decided to
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: follow their father's Carlos Boozers footsteps, the big power forward
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: who attended Duke. They chose Duke over my Ammy, so
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: Duke found some n IL money for the Boozer twins.
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: On top of they had their relationship with their daddy, Cameron,
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: who is considered one of the top two or three
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: prospects for the NBA goes about six eight. Caden Boozer
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: goes about six y five. He's a point guard. Both
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: expect to be lottery picks. And they've been talking about
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: for a while. You know, they didn't get the fanfare
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: of somebody like a lebron James, Bronnie James. Excuse me,
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: but these two twins going to Duke, and I guess
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: you know, to me, I feel like these leagues are
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: you know, they'll go back the way they have it strung.
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: They'll end up right out of high school again. I
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: think that's the next step, just to go back this
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: whole little go over to Duke for nine months, that's
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: all it is. Wasting time. You're not going to class.
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: They do everything online. I can get you again.
- 1:13:54Speaker 2: You said you said it the second time, and I'm
- 1:13:57Speaker 2: looking I keep looking it up.
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: I remember.
- 1:13:59Speaker 6: I think in the history books about class they're those
- 1:14:03Speaker 6: like h it's always a pros and cons between, like, Okay,
- 1:14:06Speaker 6: you're gonna go to college. They go to Duke, or
- 1:14:08Speaker 6: they can play in overtime Elite for a year like
- 1:14:12Speaker 6: the Thompson Twins and then go into the draft. So
- 1:14:15Speaker 6: it's always like they can do whatever they want. With
- 1:14:17Speaker 6: that one year.
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: But at least I agree eventually they won't have to
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: wait that one year.
- 1:14:23Speaker 2: So it becomes where it seems like some programs Kentucky
- 1:14:28Speaker 2: a duke, We're willing to benefit as an institution on
- 1:14:32Speaker 2: your one year of willingness to play for us, Like
- 1:14:35Speaker 2: you could go, just give it all the overtime elite,
- 1:14:38Speaker 2: but come here for a year. We don't care about
- 1:14:40Speaker 2: the going to nine months. Keep saying I'm sorry, which
- 1:14:45Speaker 2: and I'm cutting into your concert time. You know what
- 1:14:49Speaker 2: I mean, your autograph sign and time. Just come here
- 1:14:52Speaker 2: for nine months. There's no C word whatever. This guy
- 1:14:56Speaker 2: keeps saying, you don't have to worry about. This's August,
- 1:14:59Speaker 2: the March, August to March. Come on, mate, you'll make
- 1:15:03Speaker 2: about three point six mela.
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: It would be bad. Yeah, relax. Right after this more
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: Sports Dog Show, No Dad, Don't bowl Wayne.
- 1:15:20Speaker 9: More of the Sports Josh Show with Wayne Gandidias coming
- 1:15:23Speaker 9: up next.
- 1:15:25Speaker 19: Attention, high school sports fans. Are you an armshair official?
- 1:15:30Speaker 19: You know the parent or fan who constantly yells at

- 1:22:09Speaker 1: on V one o three was Frank Ski and One
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: the Smith in the morning. One of the Smith passing
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: away this weekend at the age of fifty eight years
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: of age. And if you lived in the Atlanta area,
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: if you visit it, you ever hit on V one
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: o three. Most likely the show was very popular for
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: a long long time. Really the standard was set by
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: those two Frank Ski and Wanda on V one o three.
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: But fifty eight years old passing away is One the
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: Smith here. So condolence is out to Wanda, t I
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: com on you great wants you to know that he
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: will be having his last performance, which I don't know.
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: Why is he announce seeing that it's somebody banging the
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: door for t I to perform. According to him, he
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: says he doesn't want to. I thought he had dropped
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: it to go into comedy. Anyway, I think he's the
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: haha game. But he's still gonna He's still gonna do comedy.
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: I haven't seen that he said that. He's that he's
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: stopping that. Okay, so it's just gonna pause with the
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: music now and do com It was a hybrid. Maybe
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: he was rapp, he was rapidly or common rap. Jingle
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: Ball is his list performance. I think here or that one.
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: I think he's on that. The thing to V one
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: of three one stage. I got to look it up.
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: It's another one. I thought it was jingle Ball.
- 1:23:45Speaker 8: Jingle Ball is another station having a bit. I'm talking
- 1:23:49Speaker 8: about this one that got coming up.
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: Like all white, are you are you saying this off
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: the cuff or you research it? No? No, I researched it.
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: I heard no. Actually I heard the.
- 1:24:00Speaker 2: I researched it, and he said actually, which means he
- 1:24:03Speaker 2: lied about the research and park Listen now, I.
- 1:24:06Speaker 31: Want you to be clear. Can everyone agree on that
- 1:24:11Speaker 31: I researched there. He's called the one, the one which
- 1:24:17Speaker 31: means you lied to us. You the one fest of
- 1:24:20Speaker 31: the two day event. I thought it was the jingle
- 1:24:22Speaker 31: Ball Winter Fest. It's gonna be the last one.
- 1:24:27Speaker 2: You're right, Let's look up what actually means? So t
- 1:24:31Speaker 2: I deciding that he Now, let's look that up. Let's
- 1:24:34Speaker 2: look up what actually means.
- 1:24:35Speaker 8: It's the one Music Fest? Is what's coming up? That
- 1:24:38Speaker 8: that there that he's like I said, he could be
- 1:24:41Speaker 8: still on the jingle Ball. Whoever the radio station is
- 1:24:44Speaker 8: having it here in Atlanta. But V one O three
- 1:24:46Speaker 8: is having the one Music Fest and it's a two
- 1:24:48Speaker 8: day event, and so whomever's having it, this will be
- 1:24:52Speaker 8: his last performance.
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: Is that correct? That is that correct?
- 1:24:58Speaker 6: The well, the single Ball, that's the last one. Okay,
- 1:25:03Speaker 6: that's what I thought. As far as the one music Fest,
- 1:25:05Speaker 6: I don't know anything that already happened. And I just
- 1:25:08Speaker 6: know the jingle Ball is in December. It is the
- 1:25:10Speaker 6: last one.
- 1:25:11Speaker 8: So the last one, okay, it's for the All White Affair.
- 1:25:14Speaker 8: It's the one fest when Decembers, the.
- 1:25:18Speaker 6: One music of them, the one Music Fest is in
- 1:25:24Speaker 6: twelve days, you know. I think that's interesting though.
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: The jingle Ball is in December. Yes, this I think It's.
- 1:25:31Speaker 2: Interesting that he's going to stop rapping and do and
- 1:25:34Speaker 2: possibly do comedy full time. I think comedy is the
- 1:25:36Speaker 2: only career in history.
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: You got lied to a lot, huh, growing up bad
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: producing your family lied to you a lot. I'll be
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: right back. No, no, you go, get your shoes here,

- 1:25:52Speaker 1: and dad lied You can go. Mama's baby. You know
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: how we go. Man, It's all right, man, you got
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: lied to a lot. I will be. I will be

- 1:29:23Speaker 1: be here with you.
- 1:29:25Speaker 2: Uh.
- 1:29:25Speaker 1: The NBA or actually the Natesmiths Basketball Hall of Fame
- 1:29:30Speaker 1: happened this weekend. Yes, I don't know why they wrapped
- 1:29:34Speaker 1: the weekend of their Hall of Fame into football. I
- 1:29:37Speaker 1: don't know what it is about you people trying to
- 1:29:41Speaker 1: fight football. It does not work. It doesn't I don't
- 1:29:47Speaker 1: know what it is. It's like you won't concede the
- 1:29:51Speaker 1: power of the pig skin your your your event will
- 1:29:56Speaker 1: go unheard of. Nobody will even know it happened. If
- 1:30:01Speaker 1: you put it up against college football on Saturday, you
- 1:30:05Speaker 1: should it is Friday night or Monday night or something
- 1:30:09Speaker 1: but Monday. But I don't know what it is, Big
- 1:30:13Speaker 1: Kenny or why you keep the hosting these shows versus
- 1:30:18Speaker 1: Lamar and Jane Dames. I can't get around of that.
- 1:30:21Speaker 1: People like us too, No I do. I maybe catch
- 1:30:25Speaker 1: the highlight of it. Well, the Basketball Hall of Fame
- 1:30:28Speaker 1: went down. Jerry West, the Great Jerry West. The logo
- 1:30:31Speaker 1: went in again. It's the third time he's going in.
- 1:30:35Speaker 1: He's going in for everything. He went in for a player, Uh, management,
- 1:30:39Speaker 1: I think now in for a contributor. Uh, he's gone
- 1:30:43Speaker 1: in the Hall of the contributor. What is that?
- 1:30:46Speaker 28: Hey?
- 1:30:46Speaker 1: They just keep finding ways to put the logo.
- 1:30:51Speaker 6: Behind the scenes, pushed the game forward because winning as
- 1:30:59Speaker 6: a contribute Yeah, Jerry West is the only person that's
- 1:31:02Speaker 6: ever gone in.
- 1:31:03Speaker 1: Three times that investor? Did they that a new name
- 1:31:07Speaker 1: for something? But also Vince Carter went in after twenty
- 1:31:15Speaker 1: two years in the nb A, Vince Carter made it
- 1:31:19Speaker 1: into the Hall of Fame. For you that saw him,
- 1:31:23Speaker 1: that last seven that was not the Vince Carter that
- 1:31:29Speaker 1: we are talking about. We're talking about the one that
- 1:31:33Speaker 1: did the first fifteen one in the last seven was
- 1:31:36Speaker 1: just a guy. He was a mortal man. He was
- 1:31:40Speaker 1: very mortal. The last seven human beings. He would dunk
- 1:31:43Speaker 1: the ball and hold on to the rim and let
- 1:31:45Speaker 1: itself down. Yes, the one we talked about jumped over people. Yes, literally,
- 1:31:51Speaker 1: and everybody was scared to you was talking in the post.
- 1:31:55Speaker 1: These weren't just regular sized people.
- 1:31:56Speaker 14: No.
- 1:31:57Speaker 1: You see guys down there running with him and decide, like,
- 1:32:00Speaker 1: know what this looked like a poster moment. I'm just
- 1:32:02Speaker 1: gonna go the way I'm gonna get out this poster cramp.
- 1:32:08Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. A lot of dudes are
- 1:32:10Speaker 1: seen grabbing cramps as Vince is dunking because you didn't
- 1:32:13Speaker 1: want to get on the poster board. Vince Carter, the
- 1:32:16Speaker 1: high flyer, Hall of Famer, no doubt. The next man,
- 1:32:19Speaker 1: Chauncey Billups opened the door. I asked a question to
- 1:32:22Speaker 1: a couple of people, Chauncey Billups or Joe Johnson. Joe
- 1:32:27Speaker 1: Johnson is a guy that's not just because we're friends,
- 1:32:31Speaker 1: but is more of that? I thought, You know, I
- 1:32:35Speaker 1: judge a person about where they are at their time,
- 1:32:39Speaker 1: not the fan, not the fair flair, but what they
- 1:32:43Speaker 1: are doing. Chauncey Billups is like for a lot of people,
- 1:32:48Speaker 1: when what this Hall of Fame career had happened for
- 1:32:52Speaker 1: Chauncey Billups. It is a little muddy of when you
- 1:32:57Speaker 1: saw him as a Hall of Famer. I'm not saying
- 1:32:59Speaker 1: he does doesn't belonging there. I've said this about the
- 1:33:02Speaker 1: Ken Bey Matambo who just passed. There's been a couple
- 1:33:05Speaker 1: of guys here. It's Tracey McGrady. Tracey McGrady, you know,
- 1:33:09Speaker 1: different than a Grant Hill. Grant Hill had college because
- 1:33:13Speaker 1: remember the Natesmith Hall of Fame is basically about your
- 1:33:16Speaker 1: basketball career, right, It's not just about your pro career.
- 1:33:20Speaker 1: So a lot of times you can get some credit
- 1:33:22Speaker 1: for college and what you did there as well T
- 1:33:26Speaker 1: mac who was as he was, but it was a
- 1:33:29Speaker 1: short window and we were trying to question was those
- 1:33:34Speaker 1: five six years enough to get you in the Hall
- 1:33:36Speaker 1: of Fame? Even though he's credited for fifteen sixteen years,
- 1:33:40Speaker 1: ten of them was a lot of back problems that
- 1:33:43Speaker 1: you didn't really get to see the real T Mac.
- 1:33:47Speaker 1: So with Chauncey Billups, does that open the door for
- 1:33:50Speaker 1: guys like a Joe Johnson. They finally put Michael Cooper
- 1:33:53Speaker 1: in the Great Laker, and I was like, well, us
- 1:33:57Speaker 1: that opened the door for Jamal or Lou Williams because
- 1:34:03Speaker 1: which on that was a role? Their role was six man,
- 1:34:07Speaker 1: So now you got to decide. I think that opens
- 1:34:10Speaker 1: that up for guys that was voted six man in
- 1:34:13Speaker 1: the war, right that I'm.
- 1:34:14Speaker 6: Saying because with well with with couber like, he won
- 1:34:17Speaker 6: Defensive Player of the Year, but he never made it
- 1:34:20Speaker 6: an All Star team. He was named All Defense seven
- 1:34:25Speaker 6: eight times. I think so with those that the accolades
- 1:34:31Speaker 6: got him in. Finally it took it took like thirty
- 1:34:35Speaker 6: thirty years, but the accolades turned out to be enough.
- 1:34:39Speaker 6: But I think that does open it up for lou
- 1:34:42Speaker 6: will and Crawford because they both won six man three
- 1:34:46Speaker 6: times and that has been that's an important role in
- 1:34:50Speaker 6: the league.
- 1:34:52Speaker 2: Why are we asking if legitimate categories like six man,
- 1:34:56Speaker 2: these people can be considered. I mean, put Jerry West
- 1:35:01Speaker 2: in there as a contributor. You got to tell me
- 1:35:04Speaker 2: why they can't be considered. Now I'm saying, I'm saying
- 1:35:08Speaker 2: contributed because it's a title. So why wouldn't you consider
- 1:35:13Speaker 2: a lout will surely, and that had nothing to do
- 1:35:16Speaker 2: with a Chauncey Billups getting in him getting in may
- 1:35:20Speaker 2: make you feel like some other players. But when when
- 1:35:23Speaker 2: the when the Hall of Fame is entering categories like contributor,
- 1:35:28Speaker 2: surely people who played the game at a high level
- 1:35:31Speaker 2: and contributed for a great amount of time have to
- 1:35:35Speaker 2: be considered.
- 1:35:36Speaker 1: Well, you have to imagine leagues or just just like
- 1:35:39Speaker 1: with the NFL, the NFL has just started letting special
- 1:35:44Speaker 1: teams players, okay, because it's about the quantity. Or like
- 1:35:48Speaker 1: in Major League Baseball, it was hard for closers, okay,
- 1:35:55Speaker 1: to get into major League baseball if you were yeah yeah,
- 1:36:01Speaker 1: if you were just a start, a starting pitcher, yes,
- 1:36:04Speaker 1: but they just started opening to give guys like Marianna
- 1:36:09Speaker 1: Rivera or Dave.
- 1:36:10Speaker 8: Stewart, Uh you know, yeah, and you can remember that
- 1:36:15Speaker 8: Roley Fingers. He was a starter, but he later on
- 1:36:18Speaker 8: his year he went to a closer. But the only
- 1:36:20Speaker 8: reason he was entered in because he was started out
- 1:36:22Speaker 8: as a starter.
- 1:36:23Speaker 1: So someone like a Devin Hester who just got into
- 1:36:27Speaker 1: the NFL Hall of Fame, they just opened that up
- 1:36:32Speaker 1: to start letting that phase, if you dominated in just
- 1:36:36Speaker 1: that phase into the Hall question. So same thing I'm
- 1:36:41Speaker 1: saying with Michael Cooper, but with Chauncey. Chauncey's career kind
- 1:36:46Speaker 1: of opens up for a lot of other guys because
- 1:36:48Speaker 1: I looked at the numbers and it's about even across
- 1:36:53Speaker 1: the board between someone like him and I'm just using
- 1:36:55Speaker 1: like a Joe Johnson that and then Joe Johnson in
- 1:37:00Speaker 1: a Hawk uniform for seven eight years were counting on
- 1:37:02Speaker 1: the carre of the team. I don't remember Chauncy ever
- 1:37:06Speaker 1: being in a situation to carry. He was always in
- 1:37:10Speaker 1: a situation to be the big shot or to manage
- 1:37:14Speaker 1: and lead the team. We were. We were shocked and
- 1:37:18Speaker 1: hurt when they traded Joe, Like what are y'all doing?
- 1:37:20Speaker 1: Like what happened? Why would you do that? So but
- 1:37:23Speaker 1: Vince Carter, Chauncey Billups, Simone Augustus, the great w NBA
- 1:37:28Speaker 1: baller for the Lynx, went in as well, Michael Cooper,
- 1:37:33Speaker 1: Jerry West in for his third time, Jerry West just
- 1:37:38Speaker 1: passing away earlier this year as well. Badbutuster says that
- 1:37:44Speaker 1: Cam Newton is now part of the first take crew,
- 1:37:49Speaker 1: which truly truly makes it a circus now, and you
- 1:37:53Speaker 1: got it, and it's obvious, it's obvious.
- 1:37:57Speaker 2: It's obvious now that you are your platform is circus
- 1:38:03Speaker 2: hiring Cam Newton, who looks like somebody from you know,
- 1:38:11Speaker 2: a wizard school Man.
- 1:38:12Speaker 8: Cam was clean last week at TSU had his matching
- 1:38:15Speaker 8: hat the colors.
- 1:38:16Speaker 1: And my thing is, you got stephen A who has
- 1:38:20Speaker 1: no actual to me. Stephen A just plays the role
- 1:38:27Speaker 1: because he can capitalize and I can't knock him. He
- 1:38:31Speaker 1: capitalizing on a time where you got to be braggadocious
- 1:38:35Speaker 1: and loud and you know, say the other thing to
- 1:38:39Speaker 1: get you know, you know, antagonizing. It's big. Got Shannon
- 1:38:43Speaker 1: who just was having sex mistaken hold on, I did
- 1:38:49Speaker 1: motive sex. And then you got you got Cam at
- 1:38:52Speaker 1: a kid's youth football game fighting people kids. He ain't
- 1:38:56Speaker 1: fighting people. He at the kids us the football game,
- 1:38:59Speaker 1: fighting the kids. Why are you here? Cam? We were
- 1:39:01Speaker 1: just talking about him with the Shadoor Sanders and those
- 1:39:04Speaker 1: guys last week. They're down there beefing. That's your platform.
- 1:39:12Speaker 1: So it might work for you because you look like
- 1:39:14Speaker 1: you have a gleam in your eye about it. Oh
- 1:39:16Speaker 1: you love him Christmas morning, red fire truck gleek.
- 1:39:21Speaker 2: And when they and when they put these combos together,
- 1:39:24Speaker 2: they're thinking about you. They're thinking about the look on
- 1:39:27Speaker 2: your face when they announced Steven an Man Cam together,
- 1:39:34Speaker 2: who may have a little Shannon come by every now
- 1:39:38Speaker 2: and then that he.
- 1:39:40Speaker 1: First day of school Christmas morning. Look on you.
- 1:39:45Speaker 2: With your first day of clothes on the bed already
- 1:39:49Speaker 2: picked out. You're the people that they market to.
- 1:39:54Speaker 1: So Cam Newton on first take with Shannon just sounds
- 1:39:59Speaker 1: like a real sir is for those people who want
- 1:40:01Speaker 1: to be part of that and bad producer. You let
- 1:40:04Speaker 1: us know how it goes. Yeah, because it's gonna be
- 1:40:05Speaker 1: a lot of cross talk. I beg your pardon. You
- 1:40:12Speaker 1: know you in my line. You know Skipp and Shannon
- 1:40:16Speaker 1: and stephen A. All they did was cross talk.
- 1:40:18Speaker 18: That's all they do.
- 1:40:19Speaker 1: Was Molly gonna be where she? Where was she falling?
- 1:40:22Speaker 1: She Molly just d e. I Molly got Jalen Rose,
- 1:40:27Speaker 1: the only one that actually had NBA credibility kicked off.
- 1:40:30Speaker 1: She d e I. That's it. We went down a
- 1:40:34Speaker 1: sports shock show right after this.
- 1:40:43Speaker 20: I see murmur murdered that no lamb baby, get that
- 1:40:47Speaker 20: Cato D girl.
- 1:40:50Speaker 1: She's know y like me.
- 1:40:53Speaker 11: There's no lamnit baby.
- 1:40:55Speaker 1: Don't boy.

- 1:43:07Speaker 18: Don't just toss them out?
- 1:43:08Speaker 29: Put them in a metal container.
- 1:43:09Speaker 1: Because those embers can start a wildfire. I understand the

- 1:44:04Speaker 11: Welcome back to this spoy.
- 1:44:05Speaker 1: Shock shop the Sportshock Wing game. Good morning to you.
- 1:44:09Speaker 1: We were talking about the Hall of Fame with the
- 1:44:12Speaker 1: Nate Smith Hall of Fame Basketball Hall of Fame, thirteen
- 1:44:14Speaker 1: inductees went in this weekend. We were talking about Chauncey
- 1:44:18Speaker 1: bill Up, Joejohnt One thing that Joe just sitting here
- 1:44:21Speaker 1: doing the break talking. Joe has to join the media
- 1:44:26Speaker 1: if you want to really truck because remember that's who vote.
- 1:44:29Speaker 1: So what the Vince Carter do as soon as he
- 1:44:31Speaker 1: retired he jumped on the TV. What did Chauncey Billups
- 1:44:33Speaker 1: do when he just got out he jumped on the TV.
- 1:44:37Speaker 1: If you don't think that's a key to fast pacing,
- 1:44:41Speaker 1: go down the line. And when you start talking about
- 1:44:43Speaker 1: well this guy, see if the guy that you're talking
- 1:44:46Speaker 1: about and the guy you're not talking about was in
- 1:44:48Speaker 1: the media. The media can spin and help and make
- 1:44:54Speaker 1: you comfortable. He's one of us, with one of us,
- 1:44:57Speaker 1: and give you that vote if you're standing on that fence.
- 1:45:01Speaker 1: And then what did Chauncey do. He went to coaching.
- 1:45:06Speaker 1: We forget he's the head coach of Portland, so he
- 1:45:10Speaker 1: hit the media circuit. Now he's on the coaching side.
- 1:45:13Speaker 1: All of that goes with his career. Remember I said,
- 1:45:15Speaker 1: it's an entire contribution of what it is that you
- 1:45:20Speaker 1: have been around. It's not just this, It's not just
- 1:45:23Speaker 1: this player award. They put Jack Nicholson, Billy Crystal, Spike
- 1:45:29Speaker 1: Lee in this weekend as well for super fans, so
- 1:45:34Speaker 1: they are now Basketball Hall of Famers.
- 1:45:39Speaker 2: They go in the history books. You didn't even you
- 1:45:43Speaker 2: didn't even know they had a super fan a super
- 1:45:45Speaker 2: fan category category. They have super fans wondering. I was
- 1:45:50Speaker 2: wondering someone like a Penny Marshall. Remember Penny Marshall was
- 1:45:53Speaker 2: a big Clipper fan. She was like four people that
- 1:45:57Speaker 2: would be at a.
- 1:46:00Speaker 1: Old Penny Marshall and a couple other like you said,
- 1:46:04Speaker 1: the gentleman when they When I saw that category, I
- 1:46:08Speaker 1: was thinking about the guy that goes to all the
- 1:46:11Speaker 1: NBA games. You see him there. He kind of has
- 1:46:13Speaker 1: on the cowboy Vegas outfit. Uh, he has on like
- 1:46:19Speaker 1: he you see him, he's all you think he's just
- 1:46:22Speaker 1: a one team but he shows up at everything. He
- 1:46:25Speaker 1: most of the finals. He's got the court side, his courtside.
- 1:46:29Speaker 1: So he probably his family probably discovered some kind of
- 1:46:33Speaker 1: mineral that we take care of him, just saying that's
- 1:46:37Speaker 1: that's how you get that kind of money.
- 1:46:40Speaker 2: We got box side under our Landfords far do can sleep.
- 1:46:45Speaker 1: What's box side expensive? That's the only way that the
- 1:46:49Speaker 1: vitamin sticks together. Yeah, the only way, man and everything,
- 1:46:53Speaker 1: and it comes right out in the Vegas name was
- 1:46:55Speaker 1: Jimmy something. I think his first name is Jimmy. When
- 1:46:58Speaker 1: you got that kind of money, it's mister Jimmy. Oh,
- 1:47:01Speaker 1: mister jim mister Jimmy. But he's always front row seed.
- 1:47:04Speaker 1: He looks like maybe he's eighty, about five to seven has.
- 1:47:10Speaker 1: He looks like he's almost in costume when he's at
- 1:47:14Speaker 1: the game. I just don't know. I can't remember his name,
- 1:47:17Speaker 1: but super fans Spike Lee, Billy Crystal, Jimmy Goldstein, Jimmy Gohlds.
- 1:47:23Speaker 1: So you know about the last name itself, what we're.
- 1:47:26Speaker 6: Talking about, that trace it said, he is an American
- 1:47:29Speaker 6: businessman who attends a large number of nbagans.
- 1:47:35Speaker 1: You gotta put him in the Hall of Fame. I
- 1:47:38Speaker 1: mean for me, because he's not a super fan of
- 1:47:40Speaker 1: one team.
- 1:47:41Speaker 2: He's a superfan of the n B eight and that
- 1:47:45Speaker 2: deserves a place in the Hall of fame.
- 1:47:47Speaker 1: He's been so active and so frequent at stuff that
- 1:47:49Speaker 1: I'm sitting here telling you throughout the history of me
- 1:47:53Speaker 1: watching NBA, this guy is everywhere front row. Yes, yes,
- 1:48:00Speaker 1: at one point I thought he was an owner because
- 1:48:03Speaker 1: he was just at every.
- 1:48:06Speaker 2: Now, why wouldn't you recognize a Jimmy Gold. See now
- 1:48:09Speaker 2: he's not as popular, or he may.
- 1:48:11Speaker 1: Be too much of a mystery because he does not
- 1:48:14Speaker 1: discuss his net worth or how he made money. And
- 1:48:17Speaker 1: see that he's not a Penny Marshall.
- 1:48:19Speaker 2: He's not a Jack Nicholson, somebody that we know and
- 1:48:25Speaker 2: have admired in their own right. This man is just
- 1:48:29Speaker 2: a person who supports the game. And is that necessary
- 1:48:32Speaker 2: that we know that where he made his money. I'm
- 1:48:35Speaker 2: sure a lot of people come to the NBA games
- 1:48:38Speaker 2: or professional sports games are making money illegally.
- 1:48:41Speaker 1: Yeah so Jimmy. One dude was a super fan and
- 1:48:44Speaker 1: he robbed banks to buy his tickets. Well seeking of robbery.
- 1:48:48Speaker 1: Atlanta's top venier specialists. You people out here that's walking
- 1:48:52Speaker 1: around with those walking mouthpieces and big teeth. You know,
- 1:48:55Speaker 1: the one chick lit face. Yeah, well your gums dry
- 1:49:00Speaker 1: because your mouth always wide opened them teeth. Atlanta had
- 1:49:04Speaker 1: one of the the big fraud guys. He actually was
- 1:49:09Speaker 1: making millions by performing cosmetic dental procedures without a license.
- 1:49:17Speaker 1: What's your recourse in that if you went and got
- 1:49:20Speaker 1: that or did you know they knew this is Atlanta?
- 1:49:25Speaker 1: He was the this is if you look at the prices.
- 1:49:30Speaker 1: He called himself Atlanta's top for near specialists. They know,
- 1:49:36Speaker 1: in short, they know they knew that he was not
- 1:49:40Speaker 1: Some of them paid up the three thousand dollars parteveneers
- 1:49:44Speaker 1: and get some teeth. It's it's amazing how vanity has
- 1:49:51Speaker 1: taken over the economy. Get the fake bb.
- 1:49:57Speaker 2: Remember it's interesting that you said that because I was say,
- 1:50:00Speaker 2: there was one lady who passed away unfortunately because she
- 1:50:06Speaker 2: received a fake BBL job. But she should have known
- 1:50:10Speaker 2: something was wrong. There was consideration that you knew you
- 1:50:14Speaker 2: were going to a person who was unlicensed because it
- 1:50:17Speaker 2: was in their home, in the basement. Now that's not
- 1:50:21Speaker 2: generally a medical practice. That's all that you get an
- 1:50:25Speaker 2: out that you get an operation in someone's basement of
- 1:50:29Speaker 2: their only on TV.
- 1:50:32Speaker 1: I've done it.
- 1:50:33Speaker 2: I've done it, I've gotten a hair, I've done a
- 1:50:35Speaker 2: lot of stuff in people's basements.
- 1:50:36Speaker 1: I'm saying, but I knew it wasn't licensed. This is
- 1:50:39Speaker 1: my point. I knew we wasn't licensed to be doing
- 1:50:41Speaker 1: this in the basement.
- 1:50:43Speaker 2: First of all, was this person set up in what
- 1:50:46Speaker 2: looked like a legitimate office or was he coming to
- 1:50:50Speaker 2: your house and you paused the Madden game for a while,
- 1:50:54Speaker 2: go into the kitchen and get your Veneers done, and
- 1:50:58Speaker 2: then he goes back to playing the game. Some people know,
- 1:51:01Speaker 2: and then there are some people who are just we
- 1:51:04Speaker 2: had the medical records thing out of Florida.
- 1:51:06Speaker 1: Were these people working.
- 1:51:07Speaker 2: In the.
- 1:51:09Speaker 1: Yeah, the young guy, Well, make sure you look for
- 1:51:12Speaker 1: a certificate, maybe google your your dentists and make sure
- 1:51:17Speaker 1: they're on the up and up. When just something like
- 1:51:20Speaker 1: putting something in my mouth, I need to see.
- 1:51:24Speaker 2: Some degrees at least Yeah, if your dentist named Bookie
- 1:51:27Speaker 2: Man you want to go to We'll be back more
- 1:51:31Speaker 2: to Sports Shock Show right after this.
- 1:51:45Speaker 9: Don't Go Awayne Born of the Sports Jos Show with
- 1:51:47Speaker 9: Wayne Dambidias coming up next.
- 1:51:51Speaker 32: It's four am Monday, and you're literally sucking baby snot
- 1:51:55Speaker 32: through a tube because she's congested.
- 1:51:58Speaker 1: Man, that's love.
- 1:51:59Speaker 32: And if you love her that much, love her enough
- 1:52:01Speaker 32: to make sure she's buckled in the right car seat.
- 1:52:03Speaker 32: To make sure your child's in the right seat for
- 1:52:06Speaker 32: their age and size, Visit NHTSA dot gov slash the
- 1:52:10Speaker 32: right Seat, Show them you love them, Keep them safe.
- 1:52:13Speaker 32: Visit NHTSA dot gov slash the Right Seat. Brought to
- 1:52:16Speaker 32: you by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the
- 1:52:19Speaker 32: ad Council.
- 1:52:20Speaker 10: And now let's talk about something exciting, life insurance. Three
- 1:52:23Speaker 10: quarters of Americans believe that coverage represents a critical piece
- 1:52:26Speaker 10: of financial security, yet only forty nine percent actually have
- 1:52:30Speaker 10: life insurance.
- 1:52:31Speaker 27: When I was twenty five, me and my wife were
- 1:52:33Speaker 27: just getting started with our family and thought, we live
- 1:52:35Speaker 27: forever life insurance.
- 1:52:36Speaker 1: What's the last thing on my mind? What about you?
- 1:52:38Speaker 1: Will you be leaving benefits or bills When.
- 1:52:41Speaker 27: I was forty, with a kid in college and bills
- 1:52:43Speaker 27: piling up, I was worried how my family will survive
- 1:52:45Speaker 27: without me. That's what I'm made an appointment with the
- 1:52:47Speaker 27: insurance informant.
- 1:52:48Speaker 10: Information gives you power and life. Insurance gives your family

- 1:52:53Speaker 27: Now that I'm molder, I don't worry about whether I'll

- 1:53:26Speaker 1: Said you'd never.
- 1:53:27Speaker 33: Buy your kid candy from the checkout aisle or forget
- 1:53:30Speaker 33: extra diapers. You'd never lick your thumb to clean their face,
- 1:53:35Speaker 33: never ever become a minivan mom. So when you say
- 1:53:39Speaker 33: you'd never leave your child in a hot car, no,
- 1:53:42Speaker 33: it can happen. Cars get hot fast, and kids can
- 1:53:45Speaker 33: be at risk in temperatures as low as sixty degrees.
- 1:53:48Speaker 33: Fair night. Never happens before you leave the car.
- 1:53:51Speaker 1: Always stop look Lock.
- 1:53:54Speaker 33: Brought to you by NITZA and the Ad Council.
- 1:53:58Speaker 1: And now back to this watch John Wayne Gandy. Now
- 1:54:04Speaker 1: it's time for the school board.
- 1:54:06Speaker 4: When we put a spin on light and sports and
- 1:54:09Speaker 4: how they intermingle on the Sports Jack Show with Wayne Gandy.
- 1:54:19Speaker 7: Wit shocking to go along with to make me.
- 1:54:31Speaker 1: Welcome back to the Sport Shock Show. I'm the Sport
- 1:54:33Speaker 1: Shock Wayne Candy. NFL Action Yesterday, Real Quick Houston now
- 1:54:39Speaker 1: is five and one, winning forty one twenty one c J.
- 1:54:43Speaker 1: Stroud three touchdowns, one interception. Drake may Era starts in
- 1:54:49Speaker 1: New England, finally letting him get on the feeling for
- 1:54:53Speaker 1: you people, that's like why it didn't start in the beginning.
- 1:54:55Speaker 1: I think this was good for Drake may It was
- 1:54:57Speaker 1: good for the Patriots to look out there at their team.
- 1:55:00Speaker 1: As I said, if you think you got the team
- 1:55:03Speaker 1: the other pieces, then put the quarterback out there. But
- 1:55:06Speaker 1: if you don't feel like the other pieces out there,
- 1:55:08Speaker 1: no need to put him out there, so soon just
- 1:55:11Speaker 1: work him in. They finally put him on the field.
- 1:55:13Speaker 1: Now the Drake era, Drake may Era can start for them,
- 1:55:18Speaker 1: but the Patriots now are one in five. The Texans
- 1:55:22Speaker 1: are five and one. Jacksonville Chicago. Big storyline out of
- 1:55:27Speaker 1: that is everybody thought the Jags were ready. Everybody thought
- 1:55:32Speaker 1: they were ready. Now it looks like they may have
- 1:55:35Speaker 1: jumped the gun on paying a couple of people. Look
- 1:55:39Speaker 1: like they will be in another coach situation. They are
- 1:55:44Speaker 1: quietly just like the Cleveland Browns. They just keep changing
- 1:55:47Speaker 1: coaches since Tom Coughlin. But one in five of the
- 1:55:51Speaker 1: Jags four and two, surprisingly is the Chicago Bears, mainly
- 1:55:57Speaker 1: because if you ask somebody other than Caleb Williams who
- 1:56:00Speaker 1: else plays on the team, they would start with their
- 1:56:04Speaker 1: eyes up, start thinking, you know, I'm somebody asked you
- 1:56:06Speaker 1: a question.
- 1:56:07Speaker 2: You're looking the skot start looking like the answer gonna
- 1:56:09Speaker 2: drop in and Baltimore over Washington. Jaden Daniels threw for
- 1:56:16Speaker 2: two touchdowns, had a pretty good game two hundred and
- 1:56:18Speaker 2: fifty nine yards.
- 1:56:20Speaker 1: But the legs of Derrick Henry right now are fresh.
- 1:56:25Speaker 1: I don't know. I might start like, who is the
- 1:56:28Speaker 1: second running back? You're gonna have to start giving me
- 1:56:31Speaker 1: a little action because I'm gonna need to save some
- 1:56:32Speaker 1: of this this deep This looks like four years ago.
- 1:56:37Speaker 1: He's taking reservations in the corner. He looks over there, like,
- 1:56:41Speaker 1: who like some you know, want to smoke?
- 1:56:44Speaker 2: Yeah, And what I'm saying, maybe who want to come
- 1:56:47Speaker 2: to the club two six? And it's and maybe he overordered.
- 1:56:50Speaker 2: I don't want to see you. And what I'm saying,
- 1:56:53Speaker 2: maybe maybe he maybe he overordered. We got so much
- 1:56:56Speaker 2: of this stuff. It's on special. You can get it
- 1:56:59Speaker 2: for cheap. And I'm just handing this stuff out now.
- 1:57:02Speaker 2: It don't make sense to get this quality for this price.
- 1:57:05Speaker 2: But twenty four carries one hundred and thirty two yards.
- 1:57:08Speaker 2: Two touchdowns. There, Henry just jog on up, y'a already
- 1:57:12Speaker 2: in Baltimore, job going up.
- 1:57:15Speaker 1: To the Hall of Fame. Just starting a little job
- 1:57:18Speaker 1: going up there. Buddy, it's gonna They don't talk about that.
- 1:57:22Speaker 6: He may be the he may be the last one,
- 1:57:24Speaker 6: the last running back to go into the Hall of
- 1:57:26Speaker 6: Fame for a while.
- 1:57:28Speaker 1: Let's see the only thing outside of him that's in
- 1:57:32Speaker 1: the current league. Yes, the McCaffrey kid could get some
- 1:57:37Speaker 1: consideration based on how much more he has in him.
- 1:57:40Speaker 1: I don't know where these tendons, these Achilles tendons in him,
- 1:57:43Speaker 1: but he is definitely a dying bree. But they're coming back.
- 1:57:48Speaker 1: It was only three years ago you didn't want to
- 1:57:50Speaker 1: running back, right, and now everybody want a running game.
- 1:57:54Speaker 1: So it looks like everybody gonna go back to realize
- 1:57:57Speaker 1: and find them running back and that on all levels
- 1:58:02Speaker 1: of football, you can't expect a quarterback weekend and week
- 1:58:06Speaker 1: out to throw the ball fifty times. It's a lot
- 1:58:09Speaker 1: every week. And Lamar Johnny routes Lamar Jackson looks the
- 1:58:13Speaker 1: happiest of all the quarterbacks. He just looks happy. Bro
- 1:58:20Speaker 1: give it to the big fellow. All that jumping over
- 1:58:22Speaker 1: the crowd, he looked like he don found him plays.
- 1:58:25Speaker 1: He used to, I'm actually pretty good throwing the ball.
- 1:58:29Speaker 1: This all that fourth and one quarterback push toush all
- 1:58:32Speaker 1: that is out the window. Baby, I got two sixty
- 1:58:35Speaker 1: back yere and he has an empty table.
- 1:58:37Speaker 2: For four who would like to get on, And everybody's
- 1:58:40Speaker 2: kind of like, I'm really not that hungry. Maybe we
- 1:58:43Speaker 2: just sitting at the bar. And when he's feeling real fresh,
- 1:58:45Speaker 2: he habachi style, Yeah, and just out there. Everybody's more.
- 1:58:49Speaker 2: Let's just get the light snack this evening.
- 1:58:51Speaker 1: Tampa Bay fifty one twenty seven over the Who that
- 1:58:56Speaker 1: nation the Saints going with Spencer Rattler, who when the
- 1:59:00Speaker 1: first half didn't look that bad, he was out there
- 1:59:02Speaker 1: doing some nice things. Baker Mayfield and this Bucks team.
- 1:59:07Speaker 1: I don't know what Todd Bowse have told him, but
- 1:59:11Speaker 1: they played football. They kind of tough in all areas.
- 1:59:14Speaker 1: But he was just out with him. Listen, Baker, the commercials,
- 1:59:17Speaker 1: weren't you just not your look? It's not your look, man.
- 1:59:22Speaker 1: Stick with the football thing four and two, but offensive
- 1:59:26Speaker 1: where they can put some points up on the board.
- 1:59:29Speaker 1: The Eagles over the Browns twenty to sixteen. Deshaun Watson.
- 1:59:36Speaker 1: It's just maybe take a year off, as I said,
- 1:59:40Speaker 1: not that he's playing bad, he just don't seem engaged
- 1:59:45Speaker 1: and we know why. That's a lot. And he looks
- 1:59:49Speaker 1: like a young man. I've never really met him, but
- 1:59:51Speaker 1: he's always given me that he really had taken steps
- 1:59:58Speaker 1: in his life to show his self as a quality person. Right,
- 2:00:03Speaker 1: So he looks like someone that you thinking negative of
- 2:00:07Speaker 1: him really hurts him because everything else outside of that
- 2:00:11Speaker 1: has always come off like he was a good person.
- 2:00:14Speaker 1: I don't know him personally, could be whatever it is
- 2:00:16Speaker 1: they say, but he's always displayed professionalism, a guy that
- 2:00:20Speaker 1: don't really mean no harm, and he seems to really
- 2:00:23Speaker 1: take this personal and he's a young man and this
- 2:00:27Speaker 1: is a long way. It's just like Chris Brown. They
- 2:00:31Speaker 1: was trying to kick him out of South Africa or
- 2:00:34Speaker 1: won't let him have concerts in certain countries for the
- 2:00:39Speaker 1: Rihanna And to think, man, that was like twenty years
- 2:00:41Speaker 1: ago almost now for Chris Brown. What is Chris Brown?
- 2:00:45Speaker 1: He got to be in the mid thirties, right, and
- 2:00:48Speaker 1: that was when he was like yeah, and that was
- 2:00:50Speaker 1: like when he was nineteen yeah, and he still were
- 2:00:54Speaker 1: certain countries and even now he has like two concerts
- 2:00:59Speaker 1: in South Africa where they are protesting the Women's liberation
- 2:01:04Speaker 1: and all that org dot Org that they don't want
- 2:01:07Speaker 1: him to have concerts from that kind of so that
- 2:01:10Speaker 1: Shawn just seems like someone that it doesn't work like
- 2:01:14Speaker 1: that for everybody. Some people cool with being the joker
- 2:01:17Speaker 1: in the movie right right, and some people he seemed
- 2:01:20Speaker 1: just like what y'all your opinion of him really affects
- 2:01:26Speaker 1: how he's seen, just doesn't seem all that interested in it.
- 2:01:30Speaker 1: And just real quickly, who else I got my team?
- 2:01:33Speaker 1: Another one of my teams, the Stellers, the Raiders, Aiding
- 2:01:38Speaker 1: O'Connell starting at quarterback for the Raiders. Justin Fields finally conceding,
- 2:01:44Speaker 1: and I knew if he was gonna get back to
- 2:01:47Speaker 1: where he.
- 2:01:47Speaker 2: Wants to be, he was gonna have to concede. I'm
- 2:01:50Speaker 2: gonna have to be a dual threat. All that stuff
- 2:01:53Speaker 2: he was doing in Chicago where he was trying to
- 2:01:55Speaker 2: let you feel like he was Drew Brees.
- 2:01:58Speaker 1: He's conceded. Now I'm gonna run. Now I'm gonna be
- 2:02:01Speaker 1: a little doing threat. Maby you can run me on
- 2:02:03Speaker 1: the edge and you know I'll throw a couple of
- 2:02:06Speaker 1: times and he having some success. Do what you do.
- 2:02:10Speaker 2: Eleven carries for two touchdowns yesterday, only had to throw
- 2:02:15Speaker 2: the ball twenty four times. That's what Justin feels needs
- 2:02:19Speaker 2: to do to stick around as a starter.
- 2:02:22Speaker 1: And we are in the ocean. The truth is he
- 2:02:28Speaker 1: will throw your in the ocean. It's time to wrap
- 2:02:32Speaker 1: things up. On the Sports Junk Show with Wayne Candy,
- 2:03:10Speaker 1: when hit us out of the ocean, it gives us
- 2:03:12Speaker 1: more shot testament it to event. Look at the clown
- 2:03:14Speaker 1: up there with the cowboy hat on on the show.
- 2:03:17Speaker 1: I tell you man, They just got some clowns on ESPN,
- 2:03:21Speaker 1: But when you hit the sounds of the Ocean, it
- 2:03:23Speaker 1: gives us more shot testamentuted to event. We'd like to
- 2:03:25Speaker 1: thank you for tuning in to today's show. Remember, after
- 2:03:28Speaker 1: we go off air, you can go to Spotify, dz or,
- 2:03:31Speaker 1: iheartrayoh Apple Podcasts, Amazon podcasts as well. It catch the
- 2:03:37Speaker 1: replay other show. Big Kenny commands you, Greg bad producer,
- 2:03:40Speaker 1: thank you for your contributions to today's show. Monday Night Football,
- 2:03:44Speaker 1: the Beer Bills, invading the Buffalo Bills, invading New York
- 2:03:49Speaker 1: and Gane Green Jets. But going to the Ocean as
- 2:03:52Speaker 1: I always do every football season, it seems like because
- 2:03:56Speaker 1: somebody makes the same mistake over and over, and you
- 2:04:00Speaker 1: would think they would learn from the last person. But
- 2:04:04Speaker 1: Oregon wide out Trey Shaun Holding got frustrated the other
- 2:04:09Speaker 1: day in the game against Ohio State and decided he
- 2:04:13Speaker 1: would spit on the Ohio State player. Now y'all know
- 2:04:21Speaker 1: how we feel about that. We even talked about it.
- 2:04:23Speaker 1: Man spitting on you versus a man punching. All of
- 2:04:27Speaker 1: us would take the punch because spitting is a little
- 2:04:30Speaker 1: more personal than getting hit. They ejected him out the
- 2:04:34Speaker 1: game and lets him learn. But this is one of
- 2:04:38Speaker 1: those cases, y'all so hard on targeting to me spitting
- 2:04:43Speaker 1: on another guy. It should be a next game is suspension.
- 2:04:47Speaker 1: You should get suspended for the next game, not just
- 2:04:50Speaker 1: unsports my like conduct. So Oregon wide receiver Trey Shaun
- 2:04:55Speaker 1: Holden fucked up plank. Oregon did hold on to win
- 2:05:09Speaker 1: the game, so that's the only good thing he has
- 2:05:12Speaker 1: this week. Oh, we'd had to come by to lock.
- 2:05:14Speaker 2: Excuse me, sir, y'all boy, Tray available, send him out,
- 2:05:19Speaker 2: let me talk to him.
- 2:05:20Speaker 1: I'm at the bus.
- 2:05:21Speaker 2: I'm excuse me, Tray Shyon. I need to speak with
- 2:05:23Speaker 2: you saying you're saying his whole name tra holding something.
- 2:05:28Speaker 2: Oh you're talking about t Dog. No, I'm talking about
- 2:05:30Speaker 2: Tray Shawan, tray Shawn Devarious. I need tray Shawn Devarious
- 2:05:36Speaker 2: holding whatever he is well out here.
- 2:05:39Speaker 1: We can. We'll talk to you. Talk to you later
- 2:05:41Speaker 1: in the week. From the sports talk show Peace
