- 0:46Speaker 3: I feel like people still get offended even though we
- 0:48Speaker 3: warn them every single week.
- 0:49Speaker 1: Well, but I mean it has nothing to do with politics.
- 0:51Speaker 1: We never talk politics. We're just incorrect. Yeah, we're incorrect,

- 1:43Speaker 1: we are going to be doing a little bit of
- 1:45Speaker 1: a book review for Christine Brown Woolly's book entitled Sister Wife.
- 1:51Speaker 1: And I've got so much I've got so.
- 1:53Speaker 2: Much shure to say about me too.
- 1:55Speaker 1: In fact, in fact, we're gonna sit down and record
- 1:58Speaker 1: our first installment right now after this. Yeah, Like it's
- 2:01Speaker 1: going to be a great month. And then of course
- 2:03Speaker 1: we've got the holidays and we get stupid and I'm

- 2:25Speaker 1: you do truly helps us to grow, and we're growing slowly.
- 2:28Speaker 2: We are so we're growing.
- 2:29Speaker 1: We are, I mean going to keep the eye on
- 2:31Speaker 1: the prize.
- 2:32Speaker 3: You gotta be thankful for the little steps.
- 2:35Speaker 1: Are so little, Beatrice. I came back from vacation, I'm like, well, maybe,
- 2:39Speaker 1: like we're up one hundred people? Absolutely not like YouTube
- 2:43Speaker 1: is YouTube throttling us?
- 2:45Speaker 2: I think so? Now why would they though we're getting
- 2:47Speaker 2: shadow band?
- 2:48Speaker 1: Why are we we're e getting shadow bad?
- 2:53Speaker 2: I don't know, ridiculous.
- 2:56Speaker 1: I mean people are intimidated by you and particuether at bottom,
- 2:59Speaker 1: Geen or whatever. Anyway, so if you could do all
- 3:04Speaker 1: of those things, it's truly helpful. Well not always, but
- 3:07Speaker 1: like we're hoping, we're keeping faith that those things will
- 3:10Speaker 1: help us to grow. So thank you. All Right, last
- 3:15Speaker 1: time I'm going to ask you, did you have any
- 3:18Speaker 1: takeaways after this very fantastic cap on the season of Beatrice.
- 3:24Speaker 2: This episode was so freaking good.
- 3:26Speaker 3: Yeah, I guess My only takeaway though, is like Kim
- 3:29Speaker 3: at the end demanding Berry to buy her a bottle
- 3:33Speaker 3: of wine and not a glass of wine. I'm like, girl,
- 3:37Speaker 3: that's not the look.
- 3:37Speaker 2: That you think it is.
- 3:39Speaker 3: I'm just kind of surprised that she wants everybody to
- 3:41Speaker 3: know she definitely is an alcoholic.
- 3:44Speaker 1: Yeah. It's a validation of all of the criticism that
- 3:48Speaker 1: we have been leveling at you about being an intoxicated
- 3:52Speaker 1: do you why? Unfaithful? Help?
- 3:54Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 3:55Speaker 1: And now you've confirmed it and she gets toasted. Yeah,
- 3:58Speaker 1: and like she's speaking to the and commenting about her
- 4:01Speaker 1: meeting with Barry and like she's drunk.
- 4:03Speaker 3: Yeah, totally drunk.
- 4:05Speaker 1: Okay my takeaway, And this is gonna be controversial, so
- 4:08Speaker 1: don't come at me, gros or Hose. But I'm kind
- 4:13Speaker 1: of like taking a shine a little bit to Kim.
- 4:17Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 4:18Speaker 1: I kind of like how she dealt with Veronica.
- 4:21Speaker 2: Oh yeah, Yeah.
- 4:22Speaker 1: I liked how she advocated for her kids. I liked
- 4:26Speaker 1: the scene with Ethan. I personally, maybe it's me as
- 4:29Speaker 1: a mom. I like seeing her build back some of
- 4:32Speaker 1: these relationships, even though the foundation of this is alcohol
- 4:35Speaker 1: and cigars and violence and.
- 4:37Speaker 2: Sugar and sugar, a lot of sugar.
- 4:40Speaker 1: I just kind of liked to see that. Yeah, And
- 4:43Speaker 1: I even liked seeing her sit down with Barry and
- 4:45Speaker 1: like working it all out. I don't know, I just
- 4:47Speaker 1: had a different feeling about her.
- 4:49Speaker 2: Yeah, you know what, I would agree.
- 4:51Speaker 3: I thought she was pretty based when she was handling
- 4:53Speaker 3: Veronica too like and just telling her at the end
- 4:55Speaker 3: we'll get there, but it was pretty great.
- 4:57Speaker 1: Yeah, I agree. Yeah, okay, So with any further ado,
- 5:01Speaker 1: let's get into Welcome to Plath. They'll season seven, episode
- 5:05Speaker 1: eleven and tattooed.
- 5:06Speaker 3: The Reckoning, Oh yeah, which I think is about Veronica.
- 5:10Speaker 2: Oh yeah, so good.
- 5:11Speaker 3: But before we get into all of that, we have
- 5:14Speaker 3: just kind of a brief scene at the beginning with
- 5:17Speaker 3: Lydia and Zach. They're on their way to their European honeymoon.
- 5:21Speaker 3: They're going to go to Paris for a couple of
- 5:23Speaker 3: days and then they're going to go to Germany on
- 5:26Speaker 3: their mission trip or something I don't know, and do
- 5:29Speaker 3: some Christian things. But they're like in the car on
- 5:32Speaker 3: the way to the airport or something, and Zach says
- 5:35Speaker 3: something like, uh, yeah, now we can kiss, among other things,
- 5:40Speaker 3: well like please, I don't want to. I don't want
- 5:42Speaker 3: to think about that, And then they have their little
- 5:45Speaker 3: talking head with the producers, and the producers like, so
- 5:49Speaker 3: how is the wedding night, And of course Lydia and
- 5:51Speaker 3: Zach kind of skirt around the question, and Lendy's like
- 5:55Speaker 3: it was.
- 5:56Speaker 1: Pure and beautiful, pure.
- 5:59Speaker 2: What does that mean?
- 6:00Speaker 1: That's an interesting Is that an adjective?
- 6:02Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 6:03Speaker 1: I don't know either, it's not an adverb. Maybe it's not.
- 6:06Speaker 3: Whatever.
- 6:07Speaker 1: It's a very strange thing to say.
- 6:10Speaker 3: It kind of made me think they didn't fuck me too.
- 6:14Speaker 1: Maybe they hugged a lot.
- 6:16Speaker 2: And maybe they hugged naked and sang.
- 6:18Speaker 1: To Jesus about their love. Yeah, but it was an
- 6:23Speaker 1: odd statement to make. I agree.
- 6:24Speaker 2: I thought it was very weird.
- 6:26Speaker 3: And Zach goes on a weird tangent where he says,
- 6:30Speaker 3: there's a lot of beautiful soul ties and connections that
- 6:34Speaker 3: you can create when you have sex with somebody, And
- 6:37Speaker 3: I'm like, okay.
- 6:37Speaker 2: So did you create that?
- 6:39Speaker 1: Then?
- 6:40Speaker 3: Did you guys create your beautiful soul connection?
- 6:43Speaker 1: But wasn't he talking about making a soul connection with
- 6:46Speaker 1: the environment?
- 6:48Speaker 3: Yeah, like it has to be in the right environment.
- 6:50Speaker 3: So I wonder if he was like, oh, the ViBe's off, Oh, like, oh, you.
- 6:55Speaker 2: Know, I don't know if I can I don't know
- 6:56Speaker 2: if I can get hard.
- 7:00Speaker 3: For you.
- 7:01Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 7:02Speaker 3: It just felt really strange to me.
- 7:05Speaker 1: The whole thing's been strange throughout the entire season. But
- 7:08Speaker 1: like Lydia if you like.
- 7:09Speaker 2: It, that's cool.
- 7:10Speaker 1: I love that, And I hope you're happy goblins, you know.
- 7:14Speaker 3: And maybe it's just weird because they're like both virgins
- 7:16Speaker 3: or something and they're a little awkward and don't know
- 7:19Speaker 3: how to talk about it.
- 7:20Speaker 1: I don't know, Well, do you think they're like Christian
- 7:22Speaker 1: fundamentalist virgin or do you think they're like Mormon virgin king.
- 7:28Speaker 2: No, I think they're Christian fundment Have they.
- 7:29Speaker 1: Been putting it in the boo boo?
- 7:32Speaker 3: Oh?
- 7:32Speaker 1: It doesn't count if I go in to booboo.
- 7:35Speaker 3: I feel like they're like Christian fundament like super like.
- 7:38Speaker 2: Oh, but I don't know.
- 7:40Speaker 3: You mean Ethan and Olivia when they were dating and stuff,
- 7:42Speaker 3: they were doing a lot. They were making out and
- 7:45Speaker 3: touching each other and everything, so it seemed like it
- 7:48Speaker 3: was more natural for Ethan's side. I feel like Lydia
- 7:51Speaker 3: would be more like, I want to see your bad day,
- 7:55Speaker 3: and I feel like.
- 7:56Speaker 2: Zach's like, ew, why don't know, It's just a vibe.
- 8:02Speaker 1: Okay, it's just a vibe.
- 8:04Speaker 3: And then Lydia and Zach also say, and they're talking
- 8:06Speaker 3: head that they are unaware of any drama that happened
- 8:10Speaker 3: at their wedding because they thought their wedding was really
- 8:12Speaker 3: beautiful and they had a really magical time and they
- 8:15Speaker 3: were really happy to have all of their friends and
- 8:17Speaker 3: family there. So they are completely unaware at this point
- 8:20Speaker 3: in time that the fight happened. That we're having a
- 8:24Speaker 3: real life Veronica intervention, which we pop on over back
- 8:29Speaker 3: to the platform to finish up.
- 8:33Speaker 1: Yes, we do, And I want to start with a
- 8:36Speaker 1: compliment to Veronica. What shocking Why her hair is so
- 8:42Speaker 1: pretty when it's not like just straightened, so straight and long, like,
- 8:48Speaker 1: when there's a wave to it, and when she's caught
- 8:51Speaker 1: off guard, there is a sense of vulnerability in her face,
- 8:55Speaker 1: so she doesn't look as demonic as she normally does,
- 8:58Speaker 1: and I just thought, oh, she looks pretty.
- 9:01Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 9:01Speaker 1: Unfortunately, this is not going to go your way, Veronica. No,
- 9:04Speaker 1: these people are pissed. Oh they're leaning forward on the
- 9:08Speaker 1: couch and they want to get in your face about
- 9:10Speaker 1: your behavior. And I'm all for it.
- 9:12Speaker 2: I love it, sat for it. It's honestly great.
- 9:15Speaker 3: And you know, Teacan was actually trying to give her
- 9:17Speaker 3: grace too during the intervention, which was kind of cool.
- 9:20Speaker 3: Like Teagan said, she really feels for Veronica. In this
- 9:23Speaker 3: moment because she is getting ganged up on with everybody
- 9:27Speaker 3: just calling her out for her behavior, and Tiacan's like,
- 9:30Speaker 3: you know, I don't condone any of her disrespectful, awful,
- 9:35Speaker 3: vitriolic behavior, but at the same time, I do want
- 9:38Speaker 3: to try and give her some grace because it must
- 9:39Speaker 3: be hard to have this huge room of people just
- 9:43Speaker 3: coming at you unexpectedly when she didn't think that this
- 9:47Speaker 3: was going to happen whatsoever. But we begin the intervention,
- 9:51Speaker 3: we're kind of where we left off last week, where
- 9:53Speaker 3: Mica is telling Veronica that she's disrespecting everybody in the
- 9:57Speaker 3: family and he can't really tolerate this anymore, and she's
- 10:01Speaker 3: not apologizing to anybody or taking any accountability. We continue
- 10:05Speaker 3: the conversation about the clickbait article that Veronica saw and
- 10:11Speaker 3: then took as fact about.
- 10:13Speaker 1: She fabricated the entire thing. I'm sure there was some
- 10:17Speaker 1: weird article, maybe based on some rando Reddit post, but
- 10:22Speaker 1: she did not believe that that was true. She was
- 10:26Speaker 1: spreading vindictive lies about Teagan for absolutely no reason. Teagan
- 10:32Speaker 1: was nothing but lovely to her. The only thing Teagan
- 10:35Speaker 1: did wrong was have a great rack and be pretty yeah,
- 10:39Speaker 1: and be present.
- 10:40Speaker 2: Yep, that's a threat to.
- 10:41Speaker 3: Veronica in that way, because Veronica's insecure. And Veronica tries
- 10:45Speaker 3: to say this in the moment, but she's not taking
- 10:48Speaker 3: any accountability for spreading this rumor about the only bands,
- 10:52Speaker 3: Like she just thinks that it's fact. She keeps saying,
- 10:55Speaker 3: and she's like, well, it might have been clickbait, but like,
- 10:57Speaker 3: I don't know, Like I could also be the mayor,
- 11:00Speaker 3: Like you know, anything's possible in the world. And it's like, girl,
- 11:03Speaker 3: take accountability for the fact that you've spread this, but.
- 11:06Speaker 2: You literally can.
- 11:07Speaker 1: She's a broken person.
- 11:08Speaker 3: She is such a broken person. And then we get
- 11:10Speaker 3: to the part where Veronica tries to justify the whole
- 11:14Speaker 3: clickbait OnlyFans article by saying she was worried about Teagan
- 11:20Speaker 3: because Micah cheated on her, and so she was worried
- 11:23Speaker 3: that Micah would cheat on her with Teagan. And this
- 11:26Speaker 3: is where people start exploding, and Ethan's like, are you kidding, Veronica?
- 11:30Speaker 3: You really think my brother would be that disrespectful to
- 11:33Speaker 3: cheat on you with my girlfriend, Like that's insane, It's
- 11:38Speaker 3: absolutely insane. And Veronica, I really think, thinks that this
- 11:42Speaker 3: is a justifiable excuse and it's not. It's actually delusional
- 11:47Speaker 3: and psycho. And I understand like being insecure and nervous
- 11:52Speaker 3: about your boyfriend cheating on you, because it's a very
- 11:54Speaker 3: real thing to be scared about after such a betrayal.
- 11:59Speaker 3: So I get that. But the way she's going about
- 12:02Speaker 3: all of this and slutshaming Teagan from some weird clickbait
- 12:06Speaker 3: article that she may or may have not seen, that
- 12:08Speaker 3: doesn't even really she.
- 12:10Speaker 1: Might have been the one to submit that as a
- 12:12Speaker 1: tip to whoever published that article. I wouldn't be surprised.
- 12:16Speaker 2: It's just crazy.
- 12:18Speaker 3: And then you have Kim calling it out again, saying, like,
- 12:21Speaker 3: you know, everybody else in the family gets along, You're
- 12:24Speaker 3: the common denominator, You're the issue, and it just keeps
- 12:29Speaker 3: escalating until there's a point where MICA's like, I can't
- 12:33Speaker 3: do this anymore, you know what.
- 12:34Speaker 1: We're God, thank God, and he.
- 12:36Speaker 3: Breaks up with her in front of everybody.
- 12:38Speaker 1: And I do think that surprised her, Yeah, and you
- 12:41Speaker 1: could see some moisture under her eyes a little bit.
- 12:45Speaker 1: I do think that she began to cry and she
- 12:47Speaker 1: began to realize, oh, well, the control that I have
- 12:50Speaker 1: over this man is slipping away, and also I'm being exposed.
- 12:55Speaker 1: And I do think this is why she went so
- 12:59Speaker 1: hard before the season even dropped, because she knew how
- 13:03Speaker 1: humiliated she was going to be in this scene in particular,
- 13:06Speaker 1: Like I don't think she's even thinking to herself about
- 13:09Speaker 1: how bad she looked at the engagement or how bad
- 13:12Speaker 1: she looked, you know, down in Boca Ratan, the various
- 13:14Speaker 1: fights that she didn't even register that. But it was
- 13:17Speaker 1: this moment I think that convinced Veronica to go on
- 13:21Speaker 1: some sort of crazy social media vendetta. But then again,
- 13:25Speaker 1: they're showing those flashbacks to the very beginning of the
- 13:28Speaker 1: season where she's talking about mixing the different elements and
- 13:32Speaker 1: there's going to be a fire and calling Olivia, and
- 13:36Speaker 1: so maybe this is also her plan. I don't know.
- 13:39Speaker 1: All I know is something is deeply wrong with Veronica.
- 13:45Speaker 1: I think you can chalk ten percent of it up
- 13:48Speaker 1: to her youth and just being like a little crazy
- 13:51Speaker 1: like we all were in our twenties. But like there's
- 13:53Speaker 1: a big chunk that is a personality disorder of you. Yeah,
- 13:56Speaker 1: that's pathological in some way, and then there's another chunk
- 14:01Speaker 1: that's trauma based and that this is a reactive thing
- 14:04Speaker 1: that she's doing to sort of push people away because
- 14:07Speaker 1: she feels so bad about herself and also rejected by
- 14:10Speaker 1: what Mica did. Like it's just so broken and ultimately sad,
- 14:15Speaker 1: But that doesn't give you a right. It is a reason,
- 14:19Speaker 1: but it's not an excuse for you to be abusive
- 14:22Speaker 1: to other people.
- 14:23Speaker 3: Yeah, it's not an excuse at all. And she tries
- 14:26Speaker 3: to talk about it like she does kind of in
- 14:30Speaker 3: her own weird warped way, admit to the fact that
- 14:33Speaker 3: she was just mixing chemicals and she was kind of
- 14:36Speaker 3: concocting all of these like little stories and all of
- 14:38Speaker 3: these lies and everything, But she doesn't get to the
- 14:42Speaker 3: point of I shouldn't have done that. She doesn't get
- 14:45Speaker 3: to the point of that was wrong.
- 14:47Speaker 2: For me to do.
- 14:48Speaker 1: She kind of does at the very end when she's
- 14:50Speaker 1: in her interstitial and she's like, well, I guess I
- 14:51Speaker 1: shouldn't have done that, and what I want people to
- 14:54Speaker 1: know is that I did love him, okay whatever. Well,
- 14:56Speaker 1: there's there was like a glimmer of maybe some self
- 15:00Speaker 1: awareness where she's coming into the realization, but like everything
- 15:03Speaker 1: she said that led up to that moment was unapologetic
- 15:06Speaker 1: and demonic, So I just I don't know the status
- 15:09Speaker 1: of Veronica right now. I know that she was recently
- 15:12Speaker 1: seen out with a guy. I know she's quiet now
- 15:15Speaker 1: on social media. But I just hope that she gets
- 15:21Speaker 1: some help because I was crazy in my twenties, truly.
- 15:24Speaker 2: I was. Yeah, I feel like everybody is everybody's.
- 15:26Speaker 1: We're a little lucky, right, We're led out into the
- 15:28Speaker 1: world and we go a little crazy. But like, there's
- 15:30Speaker 1: just another level to this behavior that is truly problematic,
- 15:36Speaker 1: and it makes me wonder, like if there's anything that
- 15:38Speaker 1: can be done for it. I don't know it. She's
- 15:40Speaker 1: going to need some profound psychological intervention in my opinion.
- 15:45Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, because it's the it's the fact that
- 15:47Speaker 3: she feels the need to create so much drama in
- 15:51Speaker 3: response to her own pain. She wants to hurt other people,
- 15:55Speaker 3: and she wants to cause all of this chaos so
- 15:58Speaker 3: that way she feels better about the turmoil that she's feeling.
- 16:01Speaker 3: And that's like what's so pathological and crazy? And like
- 16:04Speaker 3: she's saying in this intervention, like you guys are really
- 16:06Speaker 3: blaming me for Micah's nos, and everyone's like, yeah, because
- 16:10Speaker 3: everything that you have done is led up to all
- 16:12Speaker 3: of this tension in the family. That's why we're trying
- 16:15Speaker 3: to talk to you about it. You're still not taking
- 16:17Speaker 3: any accountability or any ownership. And like, after Micah breaks
- 16:21Speaker 3: up with her and everybody starts leaving the room, Veronica
- 16:24Speaker 3: says some shit like you know, I guess they just
- 16:27Speaker 3: think that I'm a liar. I guess they just think
- 16:30Speaker 3: that I'm such a bad person. And Kim comes back
- 16:33Speaker 3: in and it's like, no, like, I really tried to
- 16:35Speaker 3: be nice to you.
- 16:36Speaker 2: I really tried.
- 16:37Speaker 3: To do everything in my power to make you feel welcomed,
- 16:40Speaker 3: to make you feel part of the family, and you
- 16:43Speaker 3: turned around and called me a snake. Like that's not okay.
- 16:47Speaker 3: Veronica says something like I'm sorry for hurting you, and
- 16:50Speaker 3: Kim's like, I appreciate the words, but I don't believe you.
- 16:55Speaker 3: And this is where even with Veronica's like a little
- 16:58Speaker 3: bit of accountability in her talking, and I don't believe
- 17:00Speaker 3: it either. I think it's all part of her manipulation
- 17:02Speaker 3: because she wants people to feel bad for her, and
- 17:05Speaker 3: I don't.
- 17:06Speaker 1: I don't feel bad for her either. I really liked
- 17:09Speaker 1: when it came out in front of the entire family
- 17:12Speaker 1: that she had been talking to Olivia because Ethan didn't
- 17:15Speaker 1: know about that, or did Ethan know about that? No,
- 17:17Speaker 1: Ethan did know about it about it, but like Kim
- 17:19Speaker 1: did not know about that, and I don't know that
- 17:21Speaker 1: Isaac knew about that, and so like everybody just kind
- 17:24Speaker 1: of erupted, like what are you doing? And she's like, yeah,
- 17:26Speaker 1: I think Olivia's a great person. I really like her
- 17:29Speaker 1: a lot. I'm just like, oh God, you are showing
- 17:32Speaker 1: your ass so badly in this moment. And then, of course,
- 17:35Speaker 1: as we discussed in our last episode, Olivia has since
- 17:39Speaker 1: come out and you know, disavowed Veronica and said she
- 17:42Speaker 1: doesn't align herself with people who are bullies, and so
- 17:46Speaker 1: that's just a further shame from Veronica. And I wonder
- 17:49Speaker 1: how she's feeling in the Year of Our Lord twenty
- 17:51Speaker 1: twenty five in the month of October, because I would
- 17:53Speaker 1: be feeling pretty badly if I were her.
- 17:55Speaker 3: I don't think she feels bad at all. I think
- 17:57Speaker 3: she genuinely thinks like all of the plaths are eve
- 18:00Speaker 3: and they're terrible, and what she did was fine, and
- 18:03Speaker 3: she loved Micah. She did everything in her power to
- 18:06Speaker 3: make everything work, and it was him and his family that.
- 18:09Speaker 2: Were so toxic. Like that's how I think she frames it.
- 18:12Speaker 1: I think that means she's a psychopath, yeah, and or
- 18:15Speaker 1: a sociopath. Let me ask you this question, do you
- 18:18Speaker 1: think that, irrespective of how repugnant Veronica behaved in this season,
- 18:25Speaker 1: do you think that she was also what made this
- 18:27Speaker 1: season so good and what kept us interested? Because I
- 18:31Speaker 1: thought about that, like, next season, when y'all come back,
- 18:33Speaker 1: and hopefully you do, and I don't know about the ratings,
- 18:35Speaker 1: hopefully they've been good, what are you going to do?
- 18:38Speaker 1: What are you going to talk about? There's not going
- 18:40Speaker 1: to be in Olivia that we can blame. There's not
- 18:42Speaker 1: going to be a Veronica that we can like reflect
- 18:45Speaker 1: back on and blame.
- 18:46Speaker 3: Yeah, I honestly think that their drama was what made
- 18:50Speaker 3: it because even last season, we had some drama with
- 18:54Speaker 3: Ethan and Olivia, but a lot of it was just
- 18:56Speaker 3: centered around her and her chest hair boyfriend and oh god,
- 19:00Speaker 3: living her best life.
- 19:00Speaker 2: And I'm like, I am so bored. I don't want
- 19:02Speaker 2: to see this.
- 19:03Speaker 1: I'm sorry.
- 19:04Speaker 3: I don't know what next season's going to look like
- 19:05Speaker 3: without these two. But I mean, I think Teagan and
- 19:10Speaker 3: Ethan are broken up now, so maybe we'll get into
- 19:14Speaker 3: some drama there. I wonder if they had a bad breakup,
- 19:16Speaker 3: because she's not following Ethan anymore on Instagram, which is
- 19:20Speaker 3: a little weird because if they had an amical breakup,
- 19:23Speaker 3: like maybe they could still be friends. I don't know,
- 19:26Speaker 3: So maybe we'll get some drama still with that. It
- 19:28Speaker 3: would be interesting to follow Kim around with her dating
- 19:32Speaker 3: and stuff, because I feel like that's going to be
- 19:33Speaker 3: drama malicious a little, but it's not going to be
- 19:35Speaker 3: as good as the toxicity from this season.
- 19:39Speaker 1: Yeah, it was really really poisonous. Yeah with Veronica, and
- 19:43Speaker 1: also it really served to cast the Ploths in a
- 19:47Speaker 1: better light a little bit, and for a lot of
- 19:49Speaker 1: the audience, like they hate the Ploths and there's just
- 19:52Speaker 1: no redeeming the Ploths, but like having Veronica be even
- 19:55Speaker 1: worse than the Plaths kind of helped us to love
- 19:58Speaker 1: Micah a little bit and well, sorry for Mariah a
- 20:01Speaker 1: little bit. The only one I don't feel anything for
- 20:03Speaker 1: is Ethan. I just think he's an absolute He's an asshole,
- 20:06Speaker 1: trash person.
- 20:07Speaker 3: Yeah, he's definitely become a bitter tight pants wearing man.
- 20:12Speaker 2: I can't do it.
- 20:14Speaker 3: And so after Micah breaks up with Veronica and everyone
- 20:18Speaker 3: starts to leave, then Micah offers to take her home
- 20:22Speaker 3: back to Boca, and the family's like, I don't think
- 20:25Speaker 3: you should drive down with her by yourself, Like we
- 20:28Speaker 3: want to be with you. Somebody's got to be with you,
- 20:31Speaker 3: just so you don't get manipulated by her, because the
- 20:33Speaker 3: family all recognizes how toxic and how manipulative Veronica has been,
- 20:38Speaker 3: especially to Micah. And then it ends up the producers
- 20:42Speaker 3: taking Veronica back to her hotel, and then she gets
- 20:45Speaker 3: escorted to the airport or something and flies home to Boca.
- 20:49Speaker 3: And then Micah, Ethan and Isaac drive down to Boca,
- 20:53Speaker 3: and then Micah, according to the producer edit here, Micah,
- 20:57Speaker 3: escorted by a police officer, goes to their house, grabs
- 21:02Speaker 3: all of a shit, and leaves, and then allegedly they
- 21:04Speaker 3: have not spoken since that day. And this is just
- 21:08Speaker 3: so rich to me because we're getting what I assumed
- 21:12Speaker 3: to be the truth on the show. Prior to this
- 21:15Speaker 3: season airing, Veronica was on the reddits saying that Micah,
- 21:20Speaker 3: Ethan and Isaac tried to break into her house and
- 21:25Speaker 3: she had this security footage. The camera footage showing that
- 21:29Speaker 3: they were going to her house and she was afraid
- 21:31Speaker 3: for her life because these boys were trying to break in.
- 21:35Speaker 3: They were trying to get Micah's shit.
- 21:36Speaker 1: Mm hmm, just another lie. And I don't understand why
- 21:42Speaker 1: she felt like she could do that. Yeah, didn't you
- 21:44Speaker 1: know that this was filmed? And it really just goes
- 21:49Speaker 1: to show do not antagonize the producers, because she was
- 21:53Speaker 1: antagonizing the producers before the season even dropped. She was
- 21:57Speaker 1: getting in their ass about I think, featuring their home
- 22:02Speaker 1: or her home and not like changing the color or
- 22:04Speaker 1: like not using a sub home so that people couldn't
- 22:07Speaker 1: find out where she lived. She said that production had
- 22:10Speaker 1: put her at risk therefore, and like she was getting
- 22:12Speaker 1: death threats and all sorts of things. And I do
- 22:15Speaker 1: know that after season one, during season when Veronica was
- 22:18Speaker 1: getting a lot of hate on social media and people
- 22:21Speaker 1: were saying some terrible things. But she really came after production, Yeah,
- 22:27Speaker 1: got in their ass, started to embarrass them, Like, if
- 22:30Speaker 1: you were going to do that, you should have waited
- 22:33Speaker 1: until the season was over, because I really think production
- 22:37Speaker 1: after she did that, went back through the footage and
- 22:41Speaker 1: then made sure to show all of the incidents and
- 22:44Speaker 1: maybe not all, maybe there's even more, but all of
- 22:47Speaker 1: the incidents in Veronica's worst light, so that we understood
- 22:50Speaker 1: exactly who she was.
- 22:51Speaker 3: I really wonder what the picture of her would have
- 22:55Speaker 3: been if she would have just stayed quiet at the
- 22:58Speaker 3: beginning of the season and let it play out and
- 23:02Speaker 3: then she said something after. I feel like she would
- 23:04Speaker 3: have had more people supporting her. She could have spun
- 23:07Speaker 3: the story in a better light for her if she wanted.
- 23:10Speaker 3: She could have blamed it on editing, if she just
- 23:13Speaker 3: waited until the end. But no, like you had to
- 23:15Speaker 3: spew all of this bullshit at the beginning of the season,
- 23:19Speaker 3: Like all of it was pretty much lies, except for
- 23:21Speaker 3: the fact that like Micah cheated on her, and like
- 23:24Speaker 3: maybe the STD stuff and the miscarriage, Like I don't
- 23:26Speaker 3: want to say that was a lie, but I don't
- 23:27Speaker 3: fucking know.
- 23:28Speaker 1: Yeah, but like you shouldn't also be talking about somebody
- 23:30Speaker 1: else's STD. Although I guess she said she got CHMMYDIA.
- 23:33Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't even care, like Veronica, that's
- 23:36Speaker 1: the problem with lying liars who lie. We don't know
- 23:39Speaker 1: what we can trust that you say, So I don't
- 23:41Speaker 1: trust any of it.
- 23:42Speaker 3: YEP, I don't trust it at all. And so after
- 23:45Speaker 3: the boys come back from Boco with all of Micah's stuff,
- 23:49Speaker 3: we're back at the plais family farm and Micah recounts
- 23:54Speaker 3: the incident when he was in the garage and like
- 23:56Speaker 3: packing up the rest of his shit and he just
- 23:58Speaker 3: completely broke down. Veronica also broke down and was saying
- 24:02Speaker 3: some shit like just tell me you never loved me,
- 24:04Speaker 3: and Mike's like, I can't say that, because I did
- 24:07Speaker 3: love you. I loved you more than anybody I've ever.
- 24:10Speaker 2: Loved prior to you.
- 24:11Speaker 3: Like I just can't do this anymore, Like we're not
- 24:14Speaker 3: good for each other, and Micah says something about his
- 24:18Speaker 3: therapist telling him maybe Veronica was sent to you by
- 24:21Speaker 3: God to teach you that maybe you actually do want
- 24:24Speaker 3: to settle down and you do want to have a
- 24:25Speaker 3: long term relationship and you should take your relationships with
- 24:28Speaker 3: women seriously instead of just sleeping around and fucking around.
- 24:32Speaker 3: And Micah again expresses guilt and regret for cheating on
- 24:38Speaker 3: Veronica and he wishes he never did that and he
- 24:41Speaker 3: knows that that was completely wrong and he doesn't want
- 24:43Speaker 3: to do that in a future relationship ever again. And
- 24:47Speaker 3: I kind of felt bad for him here.
- 24:49Speaker 1: I think he was being authentic.
- 24:51Speaker 2: I think so too.
- 24:51Speaker 1: I think that he definitely felt remorse, and I hope
- 24:55Speaker 1: that he learned a lesson that that's just not the
- 24:58Speaker 1: kind of thing that you do. He moves all of
- 25:00Speaker 1: his stuff back up to presumably live with Barry in
- 25:03Speaker 1: the big House. He's going to take over Isaac's room
- 25:06Speaker 1: and such. But then he also said and then after
- 25:09Speaker 1: about a week or so, I'm going to go back
- 25:10Speaker 1: down to Boca and do fencing.
- 25:12Speaker 2: Yeah, which is weird.
- 25:14Speaker 1: So I think he's maybe got some contracts or something
- 25:17Speaker 1: that he's going to have to complete in Florida. But
- 25:20Speaker 1: it just really got me in my feelings because and
- 25:23Speaker 1: I've said this season after season, and you're going to
- 25:25Speaker 1: hear Mamadilia say it again, but I have a problem
- 25:28Speaker 1: with the fact that Kim and Barry never equipped their
- 25:32Speaker 1: children with an education or a trade. I mean, he
- 25:36Speaker 1: does fences, so he knows how, but I mean, I'm
- 25:38Speaker 1: sure he's self taught. I don't think he's been in
- 25:41Speaker 1: some sort of a program to acquire a trade, but
- 25:43Speaker 1: like he's just trying to find work where he can,
- 25:46Speaker 1: and that feels really bad to me because there you are, Barry.
- 25:50Speaker 1: We see you in this episode sitting at your desk
- 25:52Speaker 1: working from home. Apparently you make a lot of money.
- 25:56Speaker 1: What did Kim say this season? He makes like ten
- 25:58Speaker 1: times more in his job than everybody else, and so
- 26:01Speaker 1: he's making a lot of money. He set himself up
- 26:04Speaker 1: with that education for a great future. Kim, you went
- 26:07Speaker 1: to university. You didn't graduate, but you went to university too.
- 26:10Speaker 1: But like you didn't help to equip your children emotionally
- 26:14Speaker 1: so they could select good relationships for themselves, that were
- 26:17Speaker 1: healthy and that would progress in a good way. And
- 26:20Speaker 1: you also didn't set them up with an education or
- 26:22Speaker 1: a plan for their life. And so now we've got
- 26:24Speaker 1: Micah who has allowed himself to be abused by this
- 26:27Speaker 1: woman for I don't know how long, and now he
- 26:28Speaker 1: doesn't really have any prospects for himself. He's gonna go
- 26:31Speaker 1: back to kro and what farm? I mean, Yeah, what
- 26:35Speaker 1: are you gonna do, Barry? You're you gonna let him
- 26:37Speaker 1: have the farm? You're gonna what are we gonna do
- 26:39Speaker 1: for this kid? That's my thing.
- 26:40Speaker 2: Same thing with Mariah.
- 26:41Speaker 3: It's like Mariah's getting her heartbroken over mister potato head,
- 26:44Speaker 3: and then dying her hair black, and then getting these
- 26:47Speaker 3: awful tattoos, and then moving to Montana because she wants
- 26:50Speaker 3: to run away from all of her problems. Lydia got
- 26:52Speaker 3: married to the first guy she's ever dated after four
- 26:56Speaker 3: months doing Christian mission trips and everything, like all of
- 26:59Speaker 3: these kids kids are kind of lost, like trying to
- 27:02Speaker 3: figure out adulthood and trying to do things on their own.
- 27:05Speaker 3: And then, on top of it all, after Kim educating
- 27:10Speaker 3: them as poorly as she did, then Kim leaves, their
- 27:14Speaker 3: father breaks up their family for Ken Palmer gets drunk
- 27:21Speaker 3: and gets a dui like it's crazy.
- 27:23Speaker 1: Yeah, it is. It's really fucked up. Yeah, and I
- 27:27Speaker 1: know that some of the behavior of the older kids
- 27:30Speaker 1: has been bad, and that's just objectively true. But at
- 27:32Speaker 1: the same time, you have to always take it back
- 27:34Speaker 1: to the way that they were raised, you know. And
- 27:37Speaker 1: after Kim splits, then we've got Lydia who's now the
- 27:39Speaker 1: proxy mom, right, and she's never been a mom. No,
- 27:42Speaker 1: she didn't sign up to be a teenager, so we're
- 27:44Speaker 1: completely parentifying her. And so yeah, the first boy that
- 27:47Speaker 1: she meets when she's on some Waco mission trip to Colorado.
- 27:51Speaker 1: She's gonna be like, can I hitch my wagon to
- 27:53Speaker 1: you so you can get me the fuck out of
- 27:54Speaker 1: the situation?
- 27:55Speaker 2: Yep.
- 27:55Speaker 1: And now here we are in this weird marriage and
- 27:57Speaker 1: maybe it's gonna work, and God bless, I hope it does.
- 28:00Speaker 1: But I mean, statistically, it doesn't look great, and also
- 28:02Speaker 1: with my eyes, it doesn't look great, and so I
- 28:04Speaker 1: worry for Lydia. I actually feel the most hopeful for Amber,
- 28:10Speaker 1: Cassie too, and Mercy because they're going to grow up
- 28:12Speaker 1: as children in a broken family see how that works, yep,
- 28:16Speaker 1: and educate themselves.
- 28:17Speaker 3: Lustie definitely, yeah, I agree completely. But while we're back
- 28:21Speaker 3: at the Platt family farm and we're talking about Veronica
- 28:25Speaker 3: and Micah getting all of his shit and moving out,
- 28:27Speaker 3: then they start doing a controlled burn on the farm,
- 28:32Speaker 3: which we've been seeing this preview kind of like all season,
- 28:35Speaker 3: and I'm just wondering if, like this was other shit
- 28:38Speaker 3: that Veronica was trying to blame, Like was this what
- 28:41Speaker 3: you thought was a hate crime or whatever, like them
- 28:44Speaker 3: just doing a controlled burn on their own farm, because
- 28:46Speaker 3: Micah even says like it looks pretty crazy and dramatic
- 28:50Speaker 3: and looks like something went wrong there. Was a disaster here,
- 28:53Speaker 3: but it's it's necessary to control the farm, really, And
- 28:59Speaker 3: we have Barry in his house mentioning how they have
- 29:04Speaker 3: become aware after the breakup with Micah and Veronica that
- 29:08Speaker 3: Veronica has been online and saying a bunch of shit
- 29:12Speaker 3: about them. So I'm wondering if this is like when
- 29:14Speaker 3: she started her campaign or it.
- 29:17Speaker 1: Feels to me like it's aprilish, April and may. I
- 29:20Speaker 1: think Lydia got married in October or November, February, yeah, god,
- 29:24Speaker 1: my timeline. So yeah, I think this is like April
- 29:27Speaker 1: or May. This is when Veronica is starting to appear
- 29:30Speaker 1: on ruddit and say all the stupid shit that she's
- 29:32Speaker 1: been saying.
- 29:33Speaker 3: Yeah, so, and the family has become aware of that,
- 29:36Speaker 3: and I think we have Micah and Ethan saying something
- 29:40Speaker 3: like we just don't want to entertain any of that,
- 29:43Speaker 3: and like whatever she's saying is just a bunch of bullshit.
- 29:46Speaker 2: And Barry even says that too.
- 29:47Speaker 3: Barry says, I never really called her a liar. I
- 29:50Speaker 3: thought she embellished things, but now she's proven herself.
- 29:53Speaker 1: To be a liar, which she's gonna love.
- 29:56Speaker 3: Oh, she's definitely gonna love it's just gonna add more
- 29:58Speaker 3: fuel to her fire.
- 29:59Speaker 2: Yeah, And that was.
- 30:00Speaker 3: Kind of the whole point of filming the controlled burn
- 30:03Speaker 3: on the farm was to symbolize the fact that Veronica's
- 30:08Speaker 3: just been burning every bridge, burning everything around her, like
- 30:13Speaker 3: pouring lighter fluid on everything and just creating such a disaster.
- 30:18Speaker 3: Then we have Kim and Ethan I think it's like
- 30:21Speaker 3: a month or so later, smoking cigars out on the
- 30:24Speaker 3: Plath one of the homes, not the Plath Farm, but
- 30:27Speaker 3: one of the homes, and Kim's never smoked a cigar before,
- 30:31Speaker 3: so of course Ethan has to teach her. It's just
- 30:33Speaker 3: the tip put making a lot of sex jokes here
- 30:37Speaker 3: with the mom and I'm like, please stop right.
- 30:40Speaker 2: I know we make sex jokes on time all.
- 30:42Speaker 1: The time, but like, yeah, I don't want to I
- 30:43Speaker 1: don't want to envision that with Kim in particular or
- 30:46Speaker 1: Ethan really Nope, neither of them actually.
- 30:49Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 30:50Speaker 3: And then we have Lydia and Zach facetiming Kim and
- 30:54Speaker 3: Ethan from Europe from Yes, and this is where Ethan
- 31:00Speaker 3: makes a bunch of other sex jokes to Zach and
- 31:03Speaker 3: tells him to fill Lydia's croissants with cream.
- 31:07Speaker 1: I can't like. I just you have to superimpose yourself
- 31:11Speaker 1: into a situation like that. You know, I have a brother.
- 31:13Speaker 1: I have an older brother, and he would never like
- 31:18Speaker 1: and we joke around. We're very body together. We have
- 31:21Speaker 1: a lot of fun, always have. But like I could
- 31:23Speaker 1: never catch him saying something like make sure your husband
- 31:27Speaker 1: puts the cream in the croissants, Like that's wild. And
- 31:30Speaker 1: also it's on television and I don't want to hear
- 31:32Speaker 1: about that.
- 31:33Speaker 3: I wonder if he was trying to do that to
- 31:37Speaker 3: make light of everything and try to, I don't know,
- 31:40Speaker 3: be kind of like a brother to Zach after being
- 31:43Speaker 3: such a shitty piece of shit this whole season talking
- 31:46Speaker 3: about how Zach's gay and how he doesn't like him.
- 31:49Speaker 2: He that part.
- 31:50Speaker 1: I think he's trying to de escalate the homophobia or
- 31:53Speaker 1: the perception of the homophobia that he understands people are
- 31:56Speaker 1: going to be having of him. Yeah, and so now
- 31:58Speaker 1: he's trying to say, well, they were kissing, and are
- 32:00Speaker 1: you guys fucking because he's trying to pretend that he's
- 32:03Speaker 1: not a complete, raging, inappropriate homophobe. It's never appropriate to
- 32:08Speaker 1: be a homophobe, No, of course.
- 32:09Speaker 2: Not at all.
- 32:10Speaker 3: And it's like I think Ethan thought he was coming
- 32:14Speaker 3: off like he was being funny with his homophobic jokes
- 32:18Speaker 3: and stuff, because because he portrays himself in a way
- 32:22Speaker 3: that's like, ha, you're pressing up against each other, and
- 32:26Speaker 3: like he's all of a sudden fine with them being
- 32:28Speaker 3: married now that Lydia has made this choice, and it's like, no, dude, Like,
- 32:32Speaker 3: watch the footage of how you were acting. You were
- 32:36Speaker 3: being a total asshole, and you were being aggressive, and
- 32:38Speaker 3: you were being accusatory, and you were being homophobic, and
- 32:42Speaker 3: now you want to play like it's all fun and
- 32:43Speaker 3: games and you were just joking and joshing around, and
- 32:46Speaker 3: now you're gonna joke about Zach filling up your sister's croissants.
- 32:49Speaker 1: Like please stop, yeah, please, I'm not buying it, Ethan.
- 32:53Speaker 3: And like, while they're on the FaceTime call with Lydia
- 32:56Speaker 3: and Zach, this is where Kim finds it appropriate it
- 33:00Speaker 3: to say, oh, yeah, did you know no, actually it
- 33:03Speaker 3: was Ethan. Hey did you know that Isaac beat Micah's
- 33:07Speaker 3: ass at your guys's wet or on your rocky.
- 33:10Speaker 1: Shit to the core sent that boy to the e R?
- 33:14Speaker 3: Like did you know that that happened after you guys left,
- 33:16Speaker 3: And also Micah and Veronica broke up, like maybe don't
- 33:19Speaker 3: say that.
- 33:20Speaker 1: Or wait until they come home. Yeah, let them have
- 33:22Speaker 1: their nice honeymoon them enjoy it.
- 33:24Speaker 2: They're in Paris, for God's sakes. But no, we're just
- 33:26Speaker 2: gonna bring it up.
- 33:27Speaker 3: And you can see the look on Lydia and Zach's
- 33:29Speaker 3: face like, oh man, like what a damper, and Lyddy's like, oh,
- 33:33Speaker 3: I guess I gotta call Micah, I gotta talk to him.
- 33:35Speaker 3: And obviously, like Lydia and Zach are innocent in all
- 33:38Speaker 3: of this, Like they didn't deserve to have all of
- 33:40Speaker 3: this drama happen on their wedding night and have all
- 33:43Speaker 3: of this shit be filmed as well, Like it kind
- 33:45Speaker 3: of sucks that their special day is kind of clouded
- 33:49Speaker 3: with all of this toxicity. But I just feel like
- 33:52Speaker 3: they could have waited instead of saying it.
- 33:54Speaker 2: I'm FaceTime, but what do I know?
- 33:56Speaker 3: And then after they get off FaceTime, ethan A paulizes
- 34:00Speaker 3: to Kim for you know, believing Olivia and all of
- 34:04Speaker 3: her bullshit and like letting that ruin his relationships with
- 34:08Speaker 3: the family and his relationships with her, and this kind
- 34:10Speaker 3: of opens up a conversation about Ethan and Olivia's divorce.
- 34:14Speaker 3: Ethan says again that he hired an attorney to deal
- 34:18Speaker 3: with the divorce paperwork because apparently when they signed it
- 34:22Speaker 3: back in Minnesota last season and they filled it, they
- 34:25Speaker 3: turned it into the court, it was rejected because it
- 34:28Speaker 3: wasn't filled out properly, and then Olivia wasn't answering any
- 34:31Speaker 3: of his called or texts. He hires an attorney, and
- 34:34Speaker 3: then according to Ethan, Olivia also wasn't responding to his
- 34:38Speaker 3: attorney and refusing to sign papers, and then this leads
- 34:41Speaker 3: into their meetup.
- 34:43Speaker 1: But before we get there, we just have to acknowledge
- 34:47Speaker 1: that it does seem like it was Ethan's mistake on
- 34:50Speaker 1: the paperwork, like he didn't fill it in appropriately for
- 34:54Speaker 1: some reason submitted it and so the court rejected it
- 34:57Speaker 1: according to Olivia, and also Olivia says this episode, and
- 35:00Speaker 1: we'll get there, but basically Ethan blocked her after that
- 35:04Speaker 1: submit the paperwork and then blocked her so she couldn't
- 35:06Speaker 1: contact him. She didn't know what was up with him,
- 35:08Speaker 1: and so the minute he wanted to talk with her
- 35:11Speaker 1: about the divorce, because of Teagan then he expected her
- 35:14Speaker 1: to just jump to and do what he wanted. And
- 35:17Speaker 1: so I just feel like Ethan really didn't go over
- 35:20Speaker 1: his part in that, I don't know whereas he should have.
- 35:24Speaker 1: You don't you don't believe that.
- 35:25Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 35:26Speaker 3: I think it was messed up on both their parts.
- 35:28Speaker 3: I could I could see it as them being really
- 35:31Speaker 3: young and not really knowing like how to fill out
- 35:33Speaker 3: the paperwork properly, and it was like an honest mistake.
- 35:37Speaker 3: But I feel like when it was rejected in the court,
- 35:40Speaker 3: then there wasn't any kind of urgency on either side
- 35:46Speaker 3: to try and fix it, and then they have to
- 35:48Speaker 3: resubmit everything.
- 35:49Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 35:50Speaker 1: We get to see Ethan sabotaging the paperwork because at
- 35:55Speaker 1: the time he did not want that divorce and I
- 35:59Speaker 1: think he was still in love with Early VI or
- 36:01Speaker 1: he signed it, but I mean, maybe he didn't sign
- 36:05Speaker 1: his whole name, or maybe the date was rough. I
- 36:07Speaker 1: could see Ethan sabotaging That's just what I'm going to
- 36:11Speaker 1: put out there, and it's my opinion and I'm entitled
- 36:13Speaker 1: to a b.
- 36:13Speaker 3: I could see Olivia sabotaging it too. I could see
- 36:16Speaker 3: them both being.
- 36:17Speaker 1: I think that's what she's doing now. Yeah, but we'll
- 36:19Speaker 1: get there.
- 36:20Speaker 3: So when we get to the actual meetup, Olivia decides,
- 36:24Speaker 3: I guess she's there in Georgia for a wedding. Ethan
- 36:29Speaker 3: contacted her. He wanted to have a discussion about their
- 36:32Speaker 3: paperwork or whatever, and so she agreed to meet him,
- 36:34Speaker 3: but only in public at some like hotel, restaurant or something.
- 36:38Speaker 3: So she arrives at three pm or four pm, because
- 36:43Speaker 3: that's when they said they were going to meet up,
- 36:45Speaker 3: and she's waiting for him, and we have a little
- 36:47Speaker 3: bit of an interstitial with her where she blames Ethan
- 36:50Speaker 3: for not filling out the paperwork correctly. She says that
- 36:53Speaker 3: was the reason why they're not legally divorced. And then
- 36:56Speaker 3: she says, according to Olivia, Ethan made her wait a
- 37:01Speaker 3: year and a half to refill out the paperwork or something,
- 37:07Speaker 3: so she decided to make him wait as a petty
- 37:10Speaker 3: response back because he made her wait for so long.
- 37:13Speaker 3: She was obviously traveling and doing her photo shoots across
- 37:18Speaker 3: the world and living it up with Brendan and his
- 37:21Speaker 3: chest hair. Apparently they've moved in together as well. In Washington, DC.
- 37:26Speaker 3: They got a town home together Okay, I don't care.
- 37:30Speaker 1: He's a dog walker, remember, yes, so she's paying for everything.
- 37:33Speaker 3: She definitely is, but she's made him wait a little bit.
- 37:37Speaker 3: And then she does say that Ethan had had her
- 37:40Speaker 3: blocked on everything up until this point where he unblocked
- 37:44Speaker 3: her and wanted to meet up. So she arrives at
- 37:47Speaker 3: the little Courtyard and waits for him at four pm
- 37:51Speaker 3: like he said that they would meet up, and then
- 37:53Speaker 3: he ends up showing up two fucking hours late, which
- 37:58Speaker 3: is crazy, and Olivia's like, this is just typical Ethan Plaid.
- 38:02Speaker 1: Would you have waited for two hours? No? So let's
- 38:05Speaker 1: just pause right there, Olivia, Why are you waiting around
- 38:08Speaker 1: for two hours? What is the reason for that? I
- 38:11Speaker 1: mean I have some ideas, maybe that you wanted to
- 38:14Speaker 1: film the scene, maybe you want to be on the show.
- 38:17Speaker 1: And she has a necklace that's a big P. Has
- 38:20Speaker 1: anybody seen her necklace? It's a big no id P?
- 38:23Speaker 1: For what is it?
- 38:24Speaker 2: Plath?
- 38:25Speaker 1: I mean, you're still using that name? How come you
- 38:27Speaker 1: still associated with that name? And you have every right
- 38:28Speaker 1: to because that's your that was your legal name and
- 38:31Speaker 1: you can retain it. But why do you want to
- 38:35Speaker 1: if this family is so despicable to you. It's just
- 38:38Speaker 1: a bit of a mystery. So why are you hanging
- 38:40Speaker 1: out for two hours waiting on Ethan's dumbass?
- 38:43Speaker 2: That's the thing.
- 38:44Speaker 3: And like Ethan, why aren't you just like saying, Hey,
- 38:48Speaker 3: I can't meet at four pm because I've got X
- 38:51Speaker 3: y Z going on. I'm going to be late. Maybe
- 38:54Speaker 3: we can reschedule it to a different day or something. No, Like,
- 38:56Speaker 3: he's not courteous either.
- 38:57Speaker 1: It's a power move. He wants to dominate the conversation
- 39:01Speaker 1: from the jump.
- 39:02Speaker 3: And so when he finally does show up two hours
- 39:06Speaker 3: late and his tight jeans.
- 39:07Speaker 1: High, honey, I can't take it up to his nipples,
- 39:11Speaker 1: My god, maternity, do you.
- 39:13Speaker 3: Think that that makes your package look bigger? Because actually
- 39:16Speaker 3: it looks like you're wearing a diaper.
- 39:18Speaker 1: You know, it's really unappealing.
- 39:20Speaker 2: I don't understand.
- 39:21Speaker 3: Do you find that attractive when you see a big bulge? Though?
- 39:24Speaker 2: As a straight woman, do you think?
- 39:27Speaker 3: Well?
- 39:27Speaker 1: I don't know, like straight women and I can't speak
- 39:30Speaker 1: for all of them, but like I, I mean, dicks
- 39:32Speaker 1: aren't attractive necessarily.
- 39:34Speaker 2: They're not necessarily, so I.
- 39:35Speaker 1: Don't want to envision a big old sausage and a
- 39:38Speaker 1: couple of that's not sexy to me, but it does
- 39:44Speaker 1: spontaneously produce a train of thought about like, Okay, well yeah,
- 39:49Speaker 1: that's kind of a nice sized bulge. And so I
- 39:51Speaker 1: wonder like if he's packing, and then you start to
- 39:53Speaker 1: just envision yourself, you know, doing some things with that.
- 39:57Speaker 1: But like I'm not envisioning a dick or anything like that.
- 39:59Speaker 1: I'm wondering like, oh, that might feel good or something.
- 40:01Speaker 1: I don't know, but like I'm never me, like I'm married,
- 40:05Speaker 1: I never package. That's so funny because just last night
- 40:10Speaker 1: I was up on ig you know, I was putting
- 40:12Speaker 1: up all those stupid reels on my stories, and I
- 40:15Speaker 1: came across an account of only guys in Wranglers dancing.
- 40:18Speaker 2: Stoss, Like, did you follow it?
- 40:21Speaker 1: Almost? I almost post it because I know how much
- 40:23Speaker 1: you love when I post thirst stress. I was just
- 40:28Speaker 1: like I was watching for a little bit of time.
- 40:30Speaker 1: I thought it was wow. It was very captivating and compelling,
- 40:33Speaker 1: that's all. But Ethan, no, absolutely not captivating nor are compelling.
- 40:39Speaker 2: Way too tight of jeans diaper like literally, baby, I
- 40:45Speaker 2: literally can't.
- 40:46Speaker 3: And so Ethan finally arrives in is tight jeans two
- 40:49Speaker 3: hours late. Olivia is obviously not happy by this, and.
- 40:53Speaker 1: It's beautiful though. She looks ethereal like in that white
- 40:57Speaker 1: dress and her beautiful blue eyes with the red hair.
- 41:00Speaker 1: I'm like, oh girl, Stonning, Yes, Stonning.
- 41:03Speaker 2: She really is.
- 41:03Speaker 3: Like every time I see her, I'm like, you bitch,
- 41:05Speaker 3: You're so gorgeous.
- 41:06Speaker 2: It's ridiculous.
- 41:07Speaker 3: But when Ethan arrives, he sits down and he's like, Hi,
- 41:11Speaker 3: how you doing. Okay, I've got two things I gotta
- 41:12Speaker 3: say to you. I'm like, damn. People were calling him out,
- 41:16Speaker 3: saying that he was really aggressive in this meeting, and
- 41:19Speaker 3: people were like, oh my god, I'm so scared.
- 41:21Speaker 2: Like I'm so scared of Ethan.
- 41:22Speaker 1: I'm like, calmed down, everybody.
- 41:23Speaker 3: You guys need to calm down. I don't think he
- 41:25Speaker 3: was coming off aggressive. I think he was just trying
- 41:27Speaker 3: to stand on business and he didn't want to fight
- 41:30Speaker 3: or deal with any of her bullshit, and he just
- 41:32Speaker 3: wanted to get this shit done. So he comes up,
- 41:35Speaker 3: he says, look, when can we finalize everything? Like I
- 41:39Speaker 3: want this divorce to be done, I want everything to
- 41:42Speaker 3: be signed.
- 41:43Speaker 2: I want to be.
- 41:44Speaker 3: Rid of your bitch ass, and she goes, well, we
- 41:46Speaker 3: can do it now. And he's like, okay, do you
- 41:48Speaker 3: have all the paperwork and everything, like, cause I'm I'm
- 41:51Speaker 3: ready to do it now.
- 41:52Speaker 2: And of course.
- 41:52Speaker 3: Olivia is like, well, but like do you have the
- 41:54Speaker 3: original paperwork? Because I of course don't have anything. And
- 41:58Speaker 3: Ethan's like, the original paperwork is like shredded at this
- 42:01Speaker 3: point because it's been too long, like the courts are done,
- 42:04Speaker 3: they've closed that we have to reach.
- 42:05Speaker 1: Okay, Ethan, well, if you wanted to have a meeting
- 42:08Speaker 1: where you get her to sign the papers, well, then
- 42:10Speaker 1: bring the papers with you. Don't expect her to facilitate
- 42:13Speaker 1: the entire thing, you dope.
- 42:15Speaker 3: Well, also, if you have an attorney, have your attorney
- 42:18Speaker 3: handle everything? Why is your attorney not there? You know
- 42:20Speaker 3: what I mean?
- 42:21Speaker 2: Yes, it's just like this whole thing is stupid.
- 42:24Speaker 3: And Ethan says, well, you need to respond to my
- 42:28Speaker 3: attorney then, like, if we're gonna do this, like I
- 42:30Speaker 3: have an attorney, I've hired him, just fucking respond to it.
- 42:34Speaker 3: My attorney will take care of everything in two weeks.
- 42:36Speaker 3: And she's like, well, I'm not paying anything. He's like,
- 42:38Speaker 3: I know, I'm not asking you to, I just want
- 42:40Speaker 3: you to sign the fucking paperwork and be done with
- 42:43Speaker 3: all of this shit. And then this is where we
- 42:45Speaker 3: have an interesting interstitial from Ethan where he says, when
- 42:50Speaker 3: they originally signed the paperwork back in Minnesota, Olivia conveniently
- 42:58Speaker 3: skipped the part of the divorce paperwork where it was
- 43:01Speaker 3: about her personal finances, and according to Ethan, that's why
- 43:05Speaker 3: he thinks that the paperwork was rejected from the court
- 43:09Speaker 3: because she didn't fill any of that out. And I
- 43:11Speaker 3: feel like that's probably true.
- 43:14Speaker 1: Listen, I missed that whole thing. I was having a
- 43:16Speaker 1: cocktail at the time, and I had read like three
- 43:20Speaker 1: hundred chapters from Christine Brown Woolly's Sister Wife book, and
- 43:23Speaker 1: I was absolutely in a catatonic state. I don't remember that.
- 43:27Speaker 1: Did he elaborate on what financial information she failed to
- 43:32Speaker 1: divult It was.
- 43:33Speaker 3: About her personal finances, So I don't know, you've dealt
- 43:37Speaker 3: with divorced stuff.
- 43:37Speaker 2: I don't know what they do.
- 43:38Speaker 3: Don't you have to fill out like your personal finances,
- 43:42Speaker 3: like your accounts and stuff like that, Like, don't they
- 43:44Speaker 3: have to know?
- 43:45Speaker 1: I would imagine, But like, my second divorce was handled
- 43:50Speaker 1: with a mediator, and oh it was yeah, it was
- 43:53Speaker 1: very it was pretty amicable considering my first divorce. Also,
- 43:58Speaker 1: it was just him and I going to so attorney
- 44:00Speaker 1: and we both agreed with fought some paperwork. I've never
- 44:02Speaker 1: been through a long, like protracted, litigated, contentious divorce Teddy one. Yeah,
- 44:08Speaker 1: and so I never had to submit shit like that.
- 44:10Speaker 3: So I don't know. See when my parents got divorced,
- 44:12Speaker 3: I was a teenager, but I remember my mom complaining
- 44:16Speaker 3: about stuff like that because my dad was also struggling
- 44:19Speaker 3: with filling out his financial part of everything. And it
- 44:22Speaker 3: wasn't like they were fighting about like who got what.
- 44:25Speaker 3: We were poor, so it wasn't like we had a
- 44:27Speaker 3: lot to like divide up or had a lot of
- 44:30Speaker 3: assets or.
- 44:30Speaker 2: Anything like that.
- 44:31Speaker 3: But I remember my mom bitching about my dad not
- 44:34Speaker 3: filling out the paperwork properly because it was about finances
- 44:37Speaker 3: because his weren't that great. But neither were my moms.
- 44:39Speaker 3: And so when Ethan said that about Olivia's I was like, hmm,
- 44:43Speaker 3: that is kind of interesting. I wonder why she wouldn't
- 44:47Speaker 3: have filled that out. And I think we were talking
- 44:49Speaker 3: was it last week about her finances and wondering like
- 44:52Speaker 3: how can she afford to go internationally to all these places?
- 44:56Speaker 3: And like she can't be making that much money, Like
- 44:59Speaker 3: she is a very talented photography it's TikTok.
- 45:02Speaker 1: I mean, I think she is that revenue a influencer
- 45:05Speaker 1: of sesce on TikTok. I don't know how much money
- 45:08Speaker 1: you can make doing something like that. But if I
- 45:11Speaker 1: didn't disclose my finances, it would be because I wouldn't
- 45:14Speaker 1: want him to know. I would be worried he would
- 45:17Speaker 1: divulge that to other people, or I wanted to pretend
- 45:22Speaker 1: that I was making less or more than I was.
- 45:25Speaker 3: Right, That's what I'm thinking too, And like I can
- 45:27Speaker 3: understand if she doesn't want Ethan to know about her finances.
- 45:30Speaker 2: I get that.
- 45:31Speaker 3: Like I'm not saying she has to have Ethan know
- 45:34Speaker 3: all of this shit, but if that, if we are
- 45:36Speaker 3: to believe Ethan's rationale here, that that was the reason
- 45:40Speaker 3: why their paperwork was rejected was because of Olivia, and
- 45:43Speaker 3: then Olivia wants to blame it all on Ethan. I'm like, there,
- 45:46Speaker 3: something is awry here, there's truth in the middle somewhere.
- 45:50Speaker 3: I'm leaning towards Olivia didn't fill out something properly, and
- 45:54Speaker 3: she wants to blame Ethan because she thinks Ethan stupid.
- 45:56Speaker 1: And if that's the case, like, if we go with that,
- 45:59Speaker 1: I think the she wouldn't be motivated to conclude this
- 46:04Speaker 1: divorce is because she wants to stay connected to this show. Yes,
- 46:09Speaker 1: the reason she's wearing a pee as a necklace. There's
- 46:12Speaker 1: a reason that she's waiting for two hours when I
- 46:14Speaker 1: wouldn't wait for fifteen minutes for anybody. There's a reason
- 46:18Speaker 1: that she's still willing to film even though she knows
- 46:21Speaker 1: at this point that she hasn't filed filmed anything except
- 46:25Speaker 1: with Veronica. But she's willing to take the scraps because
- 46:28Speaker 1: she wants the clout, the fame, or the check.
- 46:32Speaker 3: And that's like my thing is if, like Olivia has
- 46:36Speaker 3: been saying ever since they got divorced, like the plaths
- 46:39Speaker 3: are terrible, they're abusive, they're toxic, they're all of these things, right,
- 46:43Speaker 3: And Ethan was such an abusive, terrible person, why wouldn't
- 46:47Speaker 3: you want to get divorced from that person as fast
- 46:51Speaker 3: as possible. Yeah, she's spinning it in like blaming Ethan,
- 46:54Speaker 3: and Ethan's the one that doesn't want to get divorced, Like, okay,
- 46:58Speaker 3: maybe at the very beginning, like maybe when they initially separated.
- 47:02Speaker 3: I could see Ethan dragging it out, and he did.
- 47:05Speaker 3: He did admit to it, but then he signed the
- 47:07Speaker 3: paperwork on camera in Middle Minnesota, like he was ready
- 47:11Speaker 3: to be done with everything, and then it didn't get done.
- 47:15Speaker 3: She dragged it out as well, because she doesn't admit
- 47:17Speaker 3: to that. She's like, well, when you contacted me to
- 47:20Speaker 3: fill out the paperwork, like I was overseas and like
- 47:23Speaker 3: you were being really pushy and I was just not
- 47:25Speaker 3: about it, Like I just want some niceties and I
- 47:27Speaker 3: want you to be polite.
- 47:28Speaker 1: I want to control the situation. But Ethan wanted to
- 47:31Speaker 1: control the situation, which is why he made her wait
- 47:34Speaker 1: for two whole hours and then like he's gonna cut
- 47:38Speaker 1: this meeting short too, but like, I will let you
- 47:40Speaker 1: get to that.
- 47:41Speaker 2: That was so good.
- 47:42Speaker 1: It is good.
- 47:43Speaker 3: When she's telling him that, like, you know, you contacted
- 47:45Speaker 3: me when I was overseas and like you made me wait,
- 47:48Speaker 3: so like yeah, I'm gonna make you wait a little bit.
- 47:49Speaker 2: Okay.
- 47:50Speaker 3: Then you're admitting to being petetty.
- 47:52Speaker 1: Like being petty and pinito, Oh my god.
- 47:54Speaker 2: What it like?
- 47:55Speaker 3: Pick a lane? Do you want to be petty and
- 47:57Speaker 3: stay legally married to this guy that you claim is
- 48:00Speaker 3: so abusive and awful and terrible, and like, look, that
- 48:03Speaker 3: all might be fucking true. I'm not. I'm not confirming
- 48:05Speaker 3: or denying any of that. It's just if you're saying
- 48:08Speaker 3: all of that, why don't you want to be rid
- 48:10Speaker 3: of them? Mm hmmm, why don't you want to be
- 48:13Speaker 3: legally single?
- 48:14Speaker 1: Guys, let's ask you the question, why do you think
- 48:17Speaker 1: Olivia wouldn't want to expedite the finalization of this divorce?
- 48:22Speaker 1: Drop in the comments and or write us on Instagram?
- 48:25Speaker 1: You know Beatrice loves those dms.
- 48:27Speaker 2: Let us know.
- 48:28Speaker 3: I've seen some people say like, oh, I would totally
- 48:30Speaker 3: be petty too, and I'm like, I don't know. I'm
- 48:32Speaker 3: not that kind of a person. Like if I was
- 48:34Speaker 3: in such a terrible offul relationship and I wanted to
- 48:37Speaker 3: be out of it, I would have done everything in
- 48:39Speaker 3: my power to be done with it as quickly and
- 48:41Speaker 3: as smoothly as possible. It's just so I could fully
- 48:45Speaker 3: block that person and be like douceing and move on
- 48:47Speaker 3: with my life, move on with my life.
- 48:49Speaker 2: Like I just don't understand.
- 48:50Speaker 3: And so Ethan's like, look, I'm not trying to argue
- 48:53Speaker 3: with you about the details of our divorce, like, can
- 48:55Speaker 3: you just fucking sign the paperwork so we can be done,
- 48:58Speaker 3: And Olivia makes a comment in her enter She'll like, well,
- 49:01Speaker 3: you know, he was dragging his feet for a year
- 49:03Speaker 3: and a half, if we're to believe that story, And
- 49:06Speaker 3: so I'm not gonna like drop on my hands and
- 49:09Speaker 3: knees and do whatever he wants just because he wants
- 49:11Speaker 3: the timeline, because I noticed that once he started rushing it,
- 49:15Speaker 3: like he posted his new girlfriend on his Instagram.
- 49:17Speaker 1: And there it is, and there it is.
- 49:19Speaker 3: I'm like, why do you care?
- 49:21Speaker 1: Why do you care? I thought she's pretty? Because he's
- 49:24Speaker 1: moving on, because he's not obsessed with you anymore, because
- 49:27Speaker 1: he's not.
- 49:28Speaker 3: Just a depressed person like losing you. I'm sorry, but
- 49:32Speaker 3: he deserves to move on too, Like I don't know.
- 49:35Speaker 3: This whole thing kind of made me annoyed. And then
- 49:38Speaker 3: Ethan's like, okay, whatever, divorce, fine, Okay, let's just get
- 49:42Speaker 3: this shit done. I'll have my attorney contact you whatever.
- 49:45Speaker 3: My second thing that I came to talk to you
- 49:47Speaker 3: about is stop slandering my family in public?
- 49:50Speaker 1: Will you? Will you please stop slandering my family in public?
- 49:54Speaker 1: And Olivia's like no, and Olivia says and I agree
- 49:58Speaker 1: with her. Olivia says, no, that's my lived experience. I
- 50:05Speaker 1: had my own personal experiences with your family. These are
- 50:10Speaker 1: my stories to tell, and I have every right to
- 50:13Speaker 1: be able to tell them. So no, I'm not going
- 50:15Speaker 1: to do that for you. And I think Eth encounters
- 50:18Speaker 1: with well, I mean, and now I'm just going to
- 50:22Speaker 1: sort of paraphrase, but I think what he's saying is
- 50:24Speaker 1: you can have your story and you can have your experience,
- 50:27Speaker 1: but you don't need to slander and make up shit
- 50:30Speaker 1: against my family because that's not fair. And furthermore, you
- 50:33Speaker 1: don't see me out in these streets, Olivia, talking about
- 50:36Speaker 1: your family's business or talking about you or slandering you,
- 50:40Speaker 1: which I took in the moment not as a threat,
- 50:44Speaker 1: but kind of like, well, let me just point bring
- 50:47Speaker 1: it to your attention that I could be doing this
- 50:49Speaker 1: to you, and maybe I will do this to you
- 50:52Speaker 1: if you don't stop doing this to me. Maybe I
- 50:54Speaker 1: have recordings of you being a crazy person. Maybe I
- 50:57Speaker 1: have receipts that I could be sharing, but I haven't
- 51:00Speaker 1: been because I just want to move on. And in
- 51:02Speaker 1: that moment when the camera pans back to Olivia, her
- 51:06Speaker 1: eyes kind of widen. I think she receives and gets that,
- 51:10Speaker 1: and I thought that was like perfect.
- 51:12Speaker 3: I think so too. I think she kind of spun
- 51:14Speaker 3: it as like that was a threat from Ethan, But
- 51:17Speaker 3: it's like no, that's the point though, Like, and I
- 51:20Speaker 3: feel like there's a very fine line where you can
- 51:23Speaker 3: talk about your experiences with the Plat family. I think
- 51:26Speaker 3: I do agree with you, and I agree with Olivia
- 51:28Speaker 3: that yes, this is your life, you were married to
- 51:30Speaker 3: this guy. You should be allowed to talk about your
- 51:33Speaker 3: previous marriage and talk about your feelings with them. And
- 51:36Speaker 3: she even makes a good point in her little interestitial
- 51:38Speaker 3: where she says they feel free to talk about me
- 51:41Speaker 3: behind my back and everything, like why can I talk
- 51:43Speaker 3: about them? And I think that's all fair and valid.
- 51:46Speaker 3: But the problem here lies with a difference of perspective
- 51:50Speaker 3: because according to Olivia, it's not slander because it's her truth,
- 51:55Speaker 3: but according to Ethan, it is slander because it isn't
- 51:58Speaker 3: truth to him, Like he's like I remember these things differently,
- 52:01Speaker 3: and that's like the problem with the human experience, Like
- 52:04Speaker 3: we all can experience things very differently from one another
- 52:08Speaker 3: based off of our own pasts and our own like
- 52:12Speaker 3: belief systems and our own triggers and our own perspectives whatever.
- 52:16Speaker 3: So there's always gonna be like a little bit of
- 52:19Speaker 3: a difference of opinion. But I do think that Ethan
- 52:21Speaker 3: is right and saying like, look like I don't talk
- 52:23Speaker 3: shit about your family, though, like I really don't say anything.
- 52:27Speaker 1: Sounds like I could, and he probably can.
- 52:30Speaker 3: He probably has some dirt on her and her family
- 52:33Speaker 3: and the shit that they went through, and he doesn't
- 52:35Speaker 3: say any of it. But she's bringing up past experiences
- 52:39Speaker 3: that involve Ethan, and she has done this multiple times,
- 52:43Speaker 3: where she's talked about like the credit card scandal and
- 52:46Speaker 3: all of these things that the family didn't want out
- 52:49Speaker 3: in the open, and she brings it out in a
- 52:51Speaker 3: very specific light, so people view the story in a
- 52:54Speaker 3: very specific way, and that's what Ethan has an issue with.
- 52:58Speaker 3: And of course Livy's like, no, I'm going to keep
- 53:00Speaker 3: talking about my truth. It's not slander because it's the truth.
- 53:04Speaker 3: And this is where Ethan's like, Okay, gets up and says,
- 53:08Speaker 3: all right, well, I've done all that I could do.
- 53:10Speaker 3: I asked you nicely, like what I would like, and
- 53:14Speaker 3: that's it. And you can do what you want, so
- 53:16Speaker 3: have a nice life.
- 53:16Speaker 1: Bye fucking boss Moves, because you could just feel that
- 53:23Speaker 1: Olivia wanted to sit there and litigate their entire relationship.
- 53:26Speaker 1: She was relishing the opportunity to present herself as Saint
- 53:30Speaker 1: Olivia once again and spin this on Ethan. But he
- 53:33Speaker 1: walked in knowing he wasn't going to allow her to
- 53:35Speaker 1: do that, and he walked out having not allowed her
- 53:38Speaker 1: to do that. And I think he felt really smug
- 53:41Speaker 1: because again he started it off with disrespect by showing
- 53:44Speaker 1: up two hours late. And I'm not saying that's right.
- 53:46Speaker 2: I think it's first.
- 53:47Speaker 1: Think it's bad. I think it's wrong, and if you
- 53:48Speaker 1: want to resolve things, this is not the way you
- 53:50Speaker 1: want to go about it. But I do think it
- 53:52Speaker 1: was boss moves, and I think it was the first
- 53:54Speaker 1: time ever in their relationship where he felt like he
- 53:58Speaker 1: had the power to do it. Yeah, because previously it
- 54:02Speaker 1: was always Olivia and what Olivia wanted and him trying
- 54:05Speaker 1: to make everything work and mediate between his family and Olivia.
- 54:08Speaker 1: And now I've got to move from Georgia to Florida
- 54:11Speaker 1: to Minnesota, and now she wants to go to California
- 54:13Speaker 1: and I'm constantly appeasing Olivia. Yeah, no more while I
- 54:16Speaker 1: do this. We're doing this on my terms. And the
- 54:19Speaker 1: fact of the matter is, I mean, I'd love for
- 54:22Speaker 1: you to sign these papers, but I mean, you don't
- 54:24Speaker 1: have to if you don't want to. I can still
- 54:26Speaker 1: get a divorce from you. We can still proceed, and
- 54:29Speaker 1: we can still get what I want. So do whatever
- 54:31Speaker 1: you want to do with your fuck ass stupid shit.
- 54:34Speaker 1: I'm out peace.
- 54:35Speaker 2: I thought that was pretty base.
- 54:37Speaker 3: It was toxic, but base. It was toxic base, which
- 54:40Speaker 3: is the entire show for sure. Yeah, and it's like
- 54:42Speaker 3: it sucks because Ethan's behavior throughout this entire season has
- 54:46Speaker 3: just been absolutely fucking atrocious and has made me hate
- 54:48Speaker 3: him a little bit. But in this episode, I was like, Okay,
- 54:52Speaker 3: I thought that was kind of cool that it just
- 54:53Speaker 3: gets up and it's like, okay, bye.
- 54:54Speaker 1: Because it stunned her. It did stun her, and she
- 54:56Speaker 1: wanted more and she didn't get it.
- 54:59Speaker 3: You know what. She went on her Instagram after this
- 55:01Speaker 3: episode aired. I want to read it, Okay, she says.
- 55:06Speaker 3: A producer on the show who has a friendship with
- 55:08Speaker 3: Ethan let me know that per their conversations with him,
- 55:12Speaker 3: he had expressed a willingness to give me an apology
- 55:15Speaker 3: and take accountability. That didn't sound like the Ethan I
- 55:19Speaker 3: was married to, but I was not privy to how
- 55:22Speaker 3: they spoke of me all season, so I ignored my
- 55:24Speaker 3: gut and I decided that a public apology would be
- 55:27Speaker 3: really nice and agreed to a meeting. My caveat was
- 55:31Speaker 3: that I refused to meet him alone or in a
- 55:34Speaker 3: private place, so it had to be in public and
- 55:36Speaker 3: with all of the crew around. My last interactions with
- 55:39Speaker 3: Ethan involved menacing, erratic and dangerous behavior, and I told
- 55:44Speaker 3: myself then that I would never spend time alone with
- 55:47Speaker 3: him ever again. On the day of the meeting, I
- 55:49Speaker 3: was super confused as to why he was two hours late,
- 55:52Speaker 3: but kept ignoring my gut and figured that even if
- 55:55Speaker 3: he did apologize, he is still a part of the
- 55:57Speaker 3: Plath family and consideration has never been one of their values.
- 56:02Speaker 3: When he walked in the gate and I could immediately
- 56:05Speaker 3: tell that he was angry, I felt stupid for believing
- 56:07Speaker 3: better and thinking that he'd apologize. I don't think I
- 56:11Speaker 3: was done dirty by a producer. I think that person
- 56:13Speaker 3: genuinely thought he would apologize to me based on their conversations.
- 56:17Speaker 3: But I learned yet another lesson listen to my gut,
- 56:20Speaker 3: and when I know who someone is, I don't need
- 56:22Speaker 3: to keep giving them chances to hurt me. I have
- 56:24Speaker 3: no plans to ever talk to him again. Now that
- 56:27Speaker 3: I've seen some of this season air, I can see
- 56:29Speaker 3: how much he hates me, has no respect for me,
- 56:31Speaker 3: and plans to continue publicly disparaging me.
- 56:36Speaker 1: Well that's rich, though, Olivia. You have been on a
- 56:38Speaker 1: campaign of public disparagement. I mean, and I'm not saying
- 56:42Speaker 1: that it's not valid for you to do that, but
- 56:45Speaker 1: it's also valid for Ethan then to be able to
- 56:49Speaker 1: counter that or to say his peace. But like that
- 56:52Speaker 1: just paints her as a complete victim. Like, but it
- 56:55Speaker 1: does underscore that she was showing up for an apology.
- 56:58Speaker 3: Huh.
- 56:58Speaker 1: She was, like I sad, showing up to be saying
- 57:01Speaker 1: to Olivia, and so then she could turn around and
- 57:03Speaker 1: maybe lecture Ethan a little bit about his behavior and
- 57:06Speaker 1: how much it hurt her over the years, taking no
- 57:08Speaker 1: responsibility for her own shit. Exactly at all. Exactly, And
- 57:12Speaker 1: so Olivia, I hope I never see you again. I
- 57:15Speaker 1: don't know why we need you. I mean, hopefully production
- 57:18Speaker 1: can create a good show with what we have left.
- 57:21Speaker 1: But Olivia and Veronica, you are not necessary. And I
- 57:25Speaker 1: know that's going to piss off a lot of people,
- 57:26Speaker 1: but that's how I feel.
- 57:28Speaker 3: I honestly, I've said this every single recap we've ever done,
- 57:31Speaker 3: But it's like, I don't understand how people like stand
- 57:33Speaker 3: so hard for these women when it's like they clearly
- 57:37Speaker 3: have toxic behavior patterns, and like, look, I've given Olivia
- 57:41Speaker 3: a lot of grace this season because people have been comparing,
- 57:44Speaker 3: Like even Ethan after this meeting, Ethan's like, yeah, no,
- 57:47Speaker 3: I see that Olivia is just as bad as Veronica.
- 57:50Speaker 2: No, No's She's genuinely not as bad as Veronica. Veronica's
- 57:54Speaker 2: straight up evil.
- 57:56Speaker 3: Olivia has been talking about her own experiences, and a
- 57:59Speaker 3: lot of it. There's been sometimes where she has made
- 58:02Speaker 3: a mountain out of a mole hill, Like even Ethan
- 58:05Speaker 3: says that in this interstitial, He's like, you know, I
- 58:09Speaker 3: understand that Olivia has a lot of hurt with things
- 58:12Speaker 3: that have happened with my family in the past. And
- 58:14Speaker 3: there have been some things that have happened that were
- 58:17Speaker 3: not necessarily pleasant, but there have been a lot of
- 58:19Speaker 3: situations where Olivia has completely like embellished them or made
- 58:24Speaker 3: them way worse than they needed to be. And that's
- 58:26Speaker 3: the problem that I have with both Olivia and Veronica,
- 58:30Speaker 3: that they've just made these situations way more toxic and
- 58:36Speaker 3: terrible than they actually were, and it disparages me and
- 58:40Speaker 3: my family. And I think that that there's some truth
- 58:43Speaker 3: to that. Okay, then yeah, no, I do too. Like
- 58:46Speaker 3: I think that the Plath family is not great. You know,
- 58:49Speaker 3: they're not perfect. I don't think anybody is perfect. I
- 58:52Speaker 3: think that they've definitely done some things to hurt other
- 58:54Speaker 3: people and the family, and Olivia and Veronica included.
- 58:58Speaker 2: I get it.
- 58:59Speaker 3: But I think that these girls have kind of embellished
- 59:03Speaker 3: a lot of things and made it so that way
- 59:06Speaker 3: they could get a lot of clout and a lot
- 59:07Speaker 3: of popularity. And yeah, and then we kind of end
- 59:11Speaker 3: the episode. It's at the same time as Ethan and
- 59:14Speaker 3: Olivia's meeting, but we have Kim and Barry meeting at
- 59:16Speaker 3: some wine bar or something, and this is like their
- 59:19Speaker 3: final hoorah or whatever. I guess they finally cleared up
- 59:23Speaker 3: their divorce.
- 59:24Speaker 2: Everything's final.
- 59:25Speaker 3: They are legally divorced and separated. I guess all they
- 59:28Speaker 3: needed was to meet up with a mediator and it
- 59:30Speaker 3: was done in an afternoon. Barry is super giddy and
- 59:34Speaker 3: happy about it.
- 59:34Speaker 2: He's like, finally the ball and chain is off. Emphasis
- 59:39Speaker 2: on ball, bar big old.
- 59:43Speaker 3: I apologize, but really yeah, gosh, and Kim seems happy
- 59:48Speaker 3: to it. Seems like they've also agreed to sell the
- 59:52Speaker 3: white house that they are in, which is in kro
- 59:54Speaker 3: It's not the farm, but the other white house, the
- 59:56Speaker 3: big family house.
- 59:57Speaker 1: Yeah, and I think they put it up for like
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: sixes and I think that it's been dropping in price.
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: I keep seeing on the starcasm that they're lowering the
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: price because nobody's buying it.
- 1:00:08Speaker 3: I mean, and Kro for six hundred thousand dollars.
- 1:00:11Speaker 2: It's crazy to me. That's just crazy to me.
- 1:00:13Speaker 3: But I guess they're selling that house. Barry's going to
- 1:00:16Speaker 3: move into one of their other properties. I'm like, damn,
- 1:00:18Speaker 3: how many fucking rental.
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: Properties do you guys have? This is crazy?
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: Set themselves up really well, didn't they Just not their kids?
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: No, not their kids at all.
- 1:00:26Speaker 3: And I think Kim is like, oh, I'm going to
- 1:00:29Speaker 3: get a camper on the farm or something, and we
- 1:00:32Speaker 3: just kind of blow over that whatever. I wonder how
- 1:00:35Speaker 3: much money she's getting from me too.
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: She's probably getting a good and she should.
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: They were married for twenty five years. Yeah, and she should.
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: I guess she's a cheating ass alcoholic.
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: Yeah, but it doesn't negate the fact that she was
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: married to men for twenty five years and then she
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: raised those children, that she participated in them.
- 1:00:51Speaker 3: She gets half, she gets sady half, she gets some.
- 1:00:56Speaker 3: And then when Barry arrives at the bar, He's like,
- 1:01:00Speaker 3: what are you drinking? And Kim's like, well, I hope
- 1:01:01Speaker 3: you will get me a drink, and I hope you
- 1:01:03Speaker 3: won't be stingy and just give me a glass.
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: I want the whole fucking bottle.
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: She wants a whole bottle of wine. He orders a
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: non alcoholic beverage yeah, and She's like, I want an
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: entire bottle of wine. And I'm just thinking to myself,
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: Like we talked at the top of this episode, like
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: why Kim, don't you know that we're all clowning on
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: your ass because you had a dui, because you would
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: drunken stuff, and like we're all worried about you because
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: you seem to have a substance abuse problem, and so
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: you're gonna be on camera and order an entire bottle
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: and make your husband pay for it, which he doesn't. Yeah,
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: he gets her just a glass. It's pretty great, which
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: I thought was fantastic, but that was wild.
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: That was awesome.
- 1:01:40Speaker 3: And then at the end of their meeting, because they're
- 1:01:42Speaker 3: like reminiscing and I really don't care about.
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: Any of it.
- 1:01:46Speaker 3: I just was caring about the bottle of wine. At
- 1:01:48Speaker 3: the end when they leave, Kim again brings it up
- 1:01:51Speaker 3: and she's like, you made sure to give me a
- 1:01:52Speaker 3: bottle though, right, because I want a bottle of white wine.
- 1:01:55Speaker 3: And Bear's like, yeah, go to the counter and get it.
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: And so she's like, where's my bottle of white wine?
- 1:02:00Speaker 3: I'm like, you need a chill, Yeah, buy your own bottle.
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: Just set of settlements for real crazy broke.
- 1:02:06Speaker 2: Yeah maybe she is.
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: Though maybe she's broke, I don't know. She seems to
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: be living well.
- 1:02:12Speaker 3: Yeah, But that's the end of the season.
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: That's it. And so I want to make sure that
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: we give a grade to the season, because I think
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: we left season six of Plathfill with like a D
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: minus or an athlete. It was bottom of the barrel terrible.
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: It was all about Olivia and the tarot cards and
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: the vagina chested boyfriend. But this year, my grade is different.
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: What's your grade?
- 1:02:35Speaker 3: I think a minus B plus. It was pretty great. Yeah,
- 1:02:37Speaker 3: it was pretty awesome.
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: I think the same. I would say a minus.
- 1:02:41Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: I mean they have rehabilitated themselves in my eyes. I
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: am very curious to see what happens next year, if
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: they're even going to be coming back, and if so,
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: what are the storylines. Is Ken Palmer going to be
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: hard launched as Kim's fiance or something the next wedding
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: that we're going to be adding Kim and Ken, and
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: how's the family gonna feel about that? And then what's
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: going on with Ethan and Teacan And did they break
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: up or was she just unable to relocate because she's
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: got a child in Wisconsin And so if Ethan wants
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: to move to Caro, which he expressed in this episode,
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: then they would necessarily probably need to break up. And
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: so what happened with that? And what's going on with
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: Zach and Lydia and maybe showcasing their life, And then
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: we've got Mariah over in Montana, and you know, I
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: Love Me a Western romance, and so I'm just wondering
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: because she's at the tip top peak of her life.
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: She's in her early twenties. She moved away to Montana
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: where there are cowboys and ranches and all of this nature,
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: and is she meeting somebody? Is there a romance that's happening.
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: I want to know.
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: I would love to know.
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:03:51Speaker 3: I feel like the thing that saves this show is
- 1:03:53Speaker 3: the fact that the Plaths aren't producing themselves pretty heavily.
- 1:03:57Speaker 3: They are pretty authentic, like in their reaction to things
- 1:04:00Speaker 3: and how they recount stuff, And that's what's really nice
- 1:04:03Speaker 3: about it, as opposed to like Sister Wives, where they're
- 1:04:06Speaker 3: just fucking.
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: Night season after season after season after season.
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: Fluff upon fluff.
- 1:04:13Speaker 3: Like the Plaths, if they can keep that authenticity, like
- 1:04:16Speaker 3: I would be interested in following them around and what
- 1:04:19Speaker 3: they're doing. I just don't know if it'll keep me forever. Yeah,
- 1:04:23Speaker 3: if it's not going to be drama malicious.
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: But we're going to be back, yeah, and we're definitely interested.
- 1:04:28Speaker 2: I'm hooked still.
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: So is there anything else that we want to say
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: to these beautiful raccoons before we get up on at
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: it here? Beatrice.
