So 'ein roter Apfel' – a red apple. Luna: Ein roter Apfel. But why 'roter' and not 'rot'? Lucas: Good question. When you put the color before the noun, it changes a little bit. But for now, just know that 'ein roter Apfel' is correct. Don't worry too much about the ending. Luna: Okay, so ein roter Apfel. And blue? Ein blauer... what? Lucas: Ein blauer Himmel – a blue sky. Himmel is sky. Luna: Ein blauer Himmel. That sounds beautiful. Lucas: And yellow? 'Ein gelber...' Luna: Ein gelber... Sonne? Sun? Lucas: Close!
