- 0:04Speaker 1: What's up and welcome. This is the Rogue Recap and
- 0:07Speaker 1: you are here with your host, Linda McLaughlin. She is pissed, off, outraged,
- 0:13Speaker 1: and has zero patience with what seems to be an
- 0:16Speaker 1: epidemic of entitlement and stupidity. Here we talk about all
- 0:20Speaker 1: the things the other shows just don't or won't touch.
- 0:24Speaker 1: Make sure to like and subscribe to our podcast so
- 0:27Speaker 1: you never miss an episode.
- 0:29Speaker 2: Well, hey, everybody, welcome to the Rogue Recap. I am
- 0:32Speaker 2: Lenda maclachlin, your host. Please follow me at Linda Mick
- 0:35Speaker 2: at Rogue Recap. Would love to hear your thoughts on
- 0:38Speaker 2: all of the things we've been talking about these last
- 0:40Speaker 2: few shows. And I apologize for not getting more shows
- 0:45Speaker 2: done last week. We have had a lot going on,
- 0:47Speaker 2: doing a ton of traveling, research, reporting and all the things,
- 0:51Speaker 2: but wanted to just jump back in here for a
- 0:54Speaker 2: moment and ask everybody to pay attention. You know, and
- 1:00Speaker 2: things really start to get crazy and they don't make sense,
- 1:03Speaker 2: or there's a lot of noise about a particular issue
- 1:07Speaker 2: for absolutely no reason. There's usually a reason. We just
- 1:11Speaker 2: don't know it right. It's kind of like look over
- 1:13Speaker 2: here at the Big shiny bowl. Okay, while I'm looking there,
- 1:16Speaker 2: what are you guys doing on the other side? And
- 1:18Speaker 2: I kind of feel like that about the Epstein emails
- 1:21Speaker 2: and what's happening is twofold, right. There's clearly a lot
- 1:26Speaker 2: of a lot of international politics going on between the
- 1:30Speaker 2: United States and our Middle East friends and foes, and
- 1:34Speaker 2: then we have Donald Trump trying to strike some sort
- 1:37Speaker 2: of peace agreement between Ukraine and Russia. And then we
- 1:41Speaker 2: have issues with agriculture all across the world when it
- 1:45Speaker 2: comes to these very scary bover injections that they're giving cattle,
- 1:51Speaker 2: and the cattle are literally just falling over dead within
- 1:55Speaker 2: like hours. And we've got all of these farmers and
- 1:59Speaker 2: cattle ranch is reporting back that the required injections are
- 2:03Speaker 2: killing their livestock and killing their livelihood at the same time.
- 2:08Speaker 2: But I just think there's more to the story than
- 2:12Speaker 2: we're seeing when it comes to the Epstein emails, which
- 2:15Speaker 2: everybody keeps talking about. And what's truly sad is that
- 2:20Speaker 2: the victims in the Epstein just a legacy of lies
- 2:27Speaker 2: and abuse and rape, and it's really tragic and it
- 2:32Speaker 2: kind of breaks your heart when you think about what
- 2:35Speaker 2: it really is and I think that's the thing that
- 2:38Speaker 2: bothers me the most about the Epstein scandal is that
- 2:44Speaker 2: people have made it almost nefarious to talk about and
- 2:48Speaker 2: specifically for the victim, it's not really fair. You know,
- 2:51Speaker 2: they were kids. Most of these women that are coming
- 2:55Speaker 2: out now and saying that they were victims, you know,
- 2:58Speaker 2: were taken in very young, some of them, you know, fourteen,
- 3:02Speaker 2: fifteen years old. They're holding up pictures of themselves from
- 3:05Speaker 2: when they were first approached or harassed or coerced by
- 3:09Speaker 2: Epstein and Maxwell and then subsequently used and abused for years,
- 3:17Speaker 2: you know, by these high ranking powerful people. And it's Republicans,
- 3:23Speaker 2: it's Democrats, it's you know, ambassadors, there's princes, there's kings,
- 3:30Speaker 2: they're CEOs, they're all of these powerful people. And I
- 3:34Speaker 2: just will never understand for the life of me, why
- 3:40Speaker 2: anyone would want to sleep next to and rape a
- 3:45Speaker 2: child of any age. I mean, pedophilia to me is
- 3:50Speaker 2: the most abhorrent act. I think people have truly become
- 3:54Speaker 2: numb to a lot of the horrible things that are
- 3:57Speaker 2: happening in our society because the value of life has
- 4:00Speaker 2: been reduced, and it's very cheap, and unless you really
- 4:05Speaker 2: start to think about the act you're discussing. I don't
- 4:09Speaker 2: know that you're really kind of getting a clear picture
- 4:12Speaker 2: of just how serious it is. Really think about what
- 4:16Speaker 2: it is to be raped, what it is to be
- 4:19Speaker 2: held against your will, what it is to be sold
- 4:24Speaker 2: literally sold, not figuratively. Not you're treating me like trash. No,
- 4:28Speaker 2: you are literally treating me like property, like trash, and
- 4:32Speaker 2: you are selling me to people every single day. And
- 4:36Speaker 2: my reward is that I get to live here and
- 4:39Speaker 2: I don't get paid, and I'm held against my will,
- 4:41Speaker 2: and if I say anything, who knows what will happen.
- 4:44Speaker 2: But what's more odd to me is this desire to
- 4:50Speaker 2: keep it hush hush. Right, So there was this massive
- 4:53Speaker 2: we're not going to say anything, there's nothing to say.
- 4:56Speaker 2: Then there was oh no, wait, we do want to
- 4:58Speaker 2: say something because we think it implicate you know, public
- 5:02Speaker 2: Enemy number one, i e. Our president. And then they
- 5:05Speaker 2: come to find that the star witness, you know, Virginia Jeffrey,
- 5:09Speaker 2: who has you know, testified time and time again, you
- 5:13Speaker 2: know that Donald Trump was not a part of anything
- 5:16Speaker 2: she ever saw and was not a part of anything
- 5:19Speaker 2: she ever had to be a part of or was
- 5:21Speaker 2: forced to be a part of She named a lot
- 5:23Speaker 2: of other people, but not Donald Trump, and if anything,
- 5:26Speaker 2: she said the opposite. When these emails started coming out
- 5:30Speaker 2: again a couple of weeks ago, Michael Wolfe, who is
- 5:33Speaker 2: known to be a turncoat and has done nothing but
- 5:37Speaker 2: tried to manipulate people, literally many people, and some of
- 5:42Speaker 2: that is revealed in these In these emails at the
- 5:44Speaker 2: House Oversight Committee and Chairman Comer released to the public
- 5:48Speaker 2: after unanimous votes, while I guess four hundred and twenty
- 5:51Speaker 2: seven votes and them one guy said no because and
- 5:55Speaker 2: his answer was interesting, although I don't know this was
- 5:57Speaker 2: the place to make it. The the solo member of
- 6:02Speaker 2: Congress who voted no on releasing the Epstein files said
- 6:06Speaker 2: no because of the fact that there were names of
- 6:10Speaker 2: witnesses and addresses and people who had given testimony, and
- 6:13Speaker 2: he didn't feel that it was right to reveal those
- 6:16Speaker 2: names and addresses because they testified under the condition of anonymity.
- 6:21Speaker 2: So it's you're sort of going back on your word.
- 6:24Speaker 2: And then that honestly does set a precedent for when
- 6:27Speaker 2: they say, hey, this person is going to be testifying
- 6:31Speaker 2: to us. It's a whistleblower, it's a person it's a
- 6:33Speaker 2: source with information. People will be more reticent to do
- 6:36Speaker 2: that now because they're going to say, okay, fine, well
- 6:38Speaker 2: in five years, are you then going to release my
- 6:40Speaker 2: name and not redact it and classified you know, or
- 6:42Speaker 2: declassified files. In any event, one person voted no, but
- 6:47Speaker 2: everybody else voted yes. Then the Senate voted yes. And
- 6:51Speaker 2: what are they doing. They're outing themselves. You know, we
- 6:53Speaker 2: have Democrats. We have Stacey Plaskett, who's a representative from
- 6:57Speaker 2: the Virgin Islands. She's texting with Jeffrey during a hearing
- 7:02Speaker 2: with Michael Cohen, who was a witness, and Epstein is
- 7:06Speaker 2: telling her what questions to ask and how to ask
- 7:09Speaker 2: them and then applauding her on her you know, great questioning,
- 7:15Speaker 2: to which you know, her reply, now with this information
- 7:19Speaker 2: coming out, is you know, well that's not true. I
- 7:22Speaker 2: didn't take you know, his advice. And it's like, if
- 7:25Speaker 2: you watch the tape and you look at the transcript
- 7:28Speaker 2: of the text, she actually one hundred percent took his
- 7:32Speaker 2: questions and took his direction, and that's how her questioning
- 7:36Speaker 2: was led. And I'm trying to figure out how they
- 7:41Speaker 2: are going to get away from that, Like this is
- 7:42Speaker 2: a woman who sits on intelligence committees and high profile
- 7:48Speaker 2: committees within our Congress, and she's not being removed or censured,
- 7:53Speaker 2: even though Ralph Norman, another congressman, came out and said
- 7:58Speaker 2: that he wanted to censor her because they're making a
- 8:00Speaker 2: back room deal for Corey Mills, because Corey Mills is
- 8:04Speaker 2: a Republican. So people on the right are striking deals
- 8:08Speaker 2: with people on the left to protect Corey Mills in
- 8:11Speaker 2: exchange for Stacy Plaskett. Well, Corey Mills is no better
- 8:15Speaker 2: than Stacy Plasket. They both screwed up, and now we've
- 8:18Speaker 2: got a question of stolen valor with Corey Mills, which
- 8:21Speaker 2: I got to say, it really breaks my heart because
- 8:23Speaker 2: I really liked that congressman. I thought he was a
- 8:25Speaker 2: good man, and I cannot believe that you know, you know,
- 8:31Speaker 2: the branches of the military that he claimed he worked
- 8:33Speaker 2: with and had received awards and this and that, they're like, nope,
- 8:36Speaker 2: never happened, don't know anything about it. So I just
- 8:39Speaker 2: think all of that is is very unfortunate that instead
- 8:43Speaker 2: of us upholding the law and getting the answers right
- 8:46Speaker 2: on both sides, right, whoever happens to be wrong, Well,
- 8:49Speaker 2: you're wrong. It's that whole idea like nobody's above the law, right.
- 8:52Speaker 2: They'd love to say that on the left, but then
- 8:54Speaker 2: when it really comes down to it, everyone is above
- 8:56Speaker 2: the law. And over the past week we have seen
- 8:59Speaker 2: so much much fraud and abuse from the Somalian movement
- 9:04Speaker 2: in Minnesota. They've done this weird medicaid thing where they've
- 9:07Speaker 2: got close to five billion dollars that they've built out
- 9:11Speaker 2: of the American government for autism cases and pretending that
- 9:14Speaker 2: their children have autism. And then we have all of
- 9:18Speaker 2: these representatives across the country getting caught on COVID and
- 9:23Speaker 2: FEMA funds and misappropriating them and using them for personal
- 9:28Speaker 2: gain and funneling them through family and friends to cover
- 9:31Speaker 2: up the receipt I mean. And it's not like a
- 9:33Speaker 2: thousand bucks, guys, We're talking about five million dollars. And
- 9:37Speaker 2: what's interesting is these are the same people that voted
- 9:41Speaker 2: and cheered when Donald Trump's accountant got in trouble because
- 9:45Speaker 2: he took too many car services. Really think about that
- 9:49Speaker 2: for a minute, you know. It's just there is such
- 9:52Speaker 2: a double standard, and it does get to a point
- 9:55Speaker 2: where it is truly exhausting, and it's i get sick
- 9:59Speaker 2: of watching it. I get sick of talking about it.
- 10:01Speaker 2: Because we currently as Republicans, we have control of the
- 10:06Speaker 2: House and the Senate. But the problem is that we
- 10:08Speaker 2: have career politicians who have deep and long standing roots
- 10:13Speaker 2: and ties with other members of Congress that supersede their
- 10:17Speaker 2: job as representatives of the people. It's like when you
- 10:21Speaker 2: see reporters asking Hakeem Jeffries today about whether or not
- 10:25Speaker 2: he took money from Jeffrey Epstein, and he's saying no,
- 10:29Speaker 2: And we have emails and receipts and a track record
- 10:34Speaker 2: that clearly show that he campaigned and he helped him,
- 10:38Speaker 2: and he donated to him, he asked other people to
- 10:40Speaker 2: donate to him. Why not just be honest, Why not
- 10:45Speaker 2: just say I had no idea, you know, just like
- 10:48Speaker 2: Stacy Plaskett. You know, she also had an email back
- 10:51Speaker 2: and forth where she's saying, I would really love it
- 10:53Speaker 2: if he could be a part of this event that
- 10:56Speaker 2: I'm doing. I'm going to be in New York and
- 10:57Speaker 2: if he could be there. I mean, they're reaching out
- 11:00Speaker 2: to someone that they know has been convicted of pedophilia
- 11:05Speaker 2: and child trafficking and sex trafficking, and they're still going
- 11:09Speaker 2: to them for money. It just truly begins to highlight
- 11:14Speaker 2: and show you that the corruption within Congress is so
- 11:19Speaker 2: deep that even these me too lunatics who are all
- 11:23Speaker 2: out there screaming about illegal aliens and what we're doing
- 11:27Speaker 2: right now, and meanwhile they're catching tons of cartel members,
- 11:32Speaker 2: MS thirteen members, rapists, pedophiles, assault with a deadly weapon,
- 11:37Speaker 2: you know, armed robbery. These people have records for days
- 11:42Speaker 2: and they're upset. What are you upset about? What are
- 11:46Speaker 2: you so upset about? If they don't go after these locations,
- 11:50Speaker 2: If they don't go and talk to these people and
- 11:53Speaker 2: get them out of here, your daughter, your son, your
- 11:57Speaker 2: family member could be next. How many more kids have
- 12:00Speaker 2: to go missing? How many more kids have to be
- 12:03Speaker 2: sexually assaulted? How many more people have to be hit
- 12:06Speaker 2: by a giant Mac truck trailer? When is it enough?
- 12:11Speaker 2: Is it only when it hits you at home that
- 12:12Speaker 2: you actually care? It's so infuriating. And then you look
- 12:18Speaker 2: at Harriet Hagman. She's from Wyoming. She's a great congresswoman,
- 12:24Speaker 2: very outspoken, doesn't really care whether you like her or not.
- 12:28Speaker 2: And she had talked about Stacey Plaskett and her association
- 12:32Speaker 2: with Epstein back in September, they were doing cross examination
- 12:36Speaker 2: of FBI Director Cash Betel, and she asked them straight out, like,
- 12:40Speaker 2: have you talked to Stacey Plaskett? Because if you're looking
- 12:43Speaker 2: to talk to somebody, this is the person. I just
- 12:46Speaker 2: want you to hear this quick, because it's not getting
- 12:47Speaker 2: a lot of play. This is Harriet Hagman.
- 12:50Speaker 3: I believe that you might have been asked earlier about
- 12:52Speaker 3: whether you had had an opportunity to visit with any
- 12:55Speaker 3: of Epstein's legal counsel Were you asked that question earlier?
- 12:58Speaker 1: I think so.
- 13:01Speaker 3: One of the legal counsels or legal fixers for mister
- 13:04Speaker 3: Epstein was Stacy Plaskett, the Democrat delegate to Congress from
- 13:08Speaker 3: the Virgin Islands. So perhaps for those on the other
- 13:11Speaker 3: side who are interested in talking to Jeffrey Epstein's attorneys,
- 13:15Speaker 3: they can sure visit with one of their own colleagues.
- 13:18Speaker 2: I mean, how spot on is that she's telling you
- 13:22Speaker 2: this woman is in conversation with emailing, with texting, with
- 13:29Speaker 2: talking to a known trafficker, a known human trafficker. They
- 13:35Speaker 2: would lose their mind if that was a Republican member
- 13:40Speaker 2: of Congress that was having that sort of conversation with
- 13:44Speaker 2: Jeffrey Epstein. I mean, just think about it. Think about
- 13:48Speaker 2: it for one second. If you had some member of
- 13:51Speaker 2: Congress that was very close to the president and that
- 13:53Speaker 2: person was saying all these things, do you think for
- 13:56Speaker 2: one second they wouldn't be doing everything that they could
- 13:59Speaker 2: to get that person and expelled from Congress, censure them
- 14:02Speaker 2: for their ideas. But then when they do that, on
- 14:04Speaker 2: the reverse, we can't get we can't get our people
- 14:07Speaker 2: in line. They are siding with the Democrats to protect
- 14:11Speaker 2: bad Republicans. Get rid of all of them. We don't
- 14:15Speaker 2: meet any of them. I don't know how many times
- 14:18Speaker 2: we have to say it. It is not right versus left,
- 14:21Speaker 2: it's us versus them. The elite do not adhere to
- 14:25Speaker 2: the laws by which they were elected to enforce. They
- 14:29Speaker 2: don't do it. I want them out. I'm sick and
- 14:34Speaker 2: tired of seeing all of these people attacked, murdered, set
- 14:40Speaker 2: on fire by repeat offenders. Who are the judges that
- 14:44Speaker 2: are releasing people forty fifty sixty times back onto the
- 14:48Speaker 2: street on cashle' spell again? Who has to get hurt
- 14:53Speaker 2: for people that are in power to care what has
- 14:58Speaker 2: to happen? Does it have to happen to the judge daughter.
- 15:00Speaker 2: Does it have to happen to the congresswoman's child? Who
- 15:04Speaker 2: does it have to happen to for people to care?
- 15:08Speaker 2: That's what I don't understand. There's such a loss of humanity.
- 15:15Speaker 2: And every once in a while I'll see a story
- 15:17Speaker 2: or i'll see something and I'm like, oh, that was
- 15:19Speaker 2: really nice or oh that was great. But it's so
- 15:22Speaker 2: far few and in between, and you really cannot have
- 15:26Speaker 2: a conversation with anybody on the left about any of
- 15:30Speaker 2: these things. They don't want to hear it. They have
- 15:33Speaker 2: no desire to hear it. They don't want to talk
- 15:35Speaker 2: to you about the what ifs and oh, well, actually,
- 15:38Speaker 2: did you know what you're saying is wrong? They have
- 15:41Speaker 2: their little playbook, they have their talking points, and they
- 15:45Speaker 2: don't want to hear anything to the wiser. And it's
- 15:47Speaker 2: so frustrating.
- 15:49Speaker 1: You know.
- 15:49Speaker 2: I used to do this thing years ago where I
- 15:52Speaker 2: went out onto the street and I would show pictures
- 15:55Speaker 2: of members of Congress to just random people on the street.
- 15:59Speaker 2: It was called man on the Show, and I would say,
- 16:01Speaker 2: do you know who this is? Do you know who
- 16:02Speaker 2: this is? Do you know who this is? And they
- 16:03Speaker 2: would never know literally never know, and then I would
- 16:07Speaker 2: show them a picture of like, you know, I don't
- 16:09Speaker 2: know Taylor Swift or Britney Spears or Hugh Jackman or
- 16:14Speaker 2: you know, anybody famous, and they would know them and I. So,
- 16:17Speaker 2: you know what's interesting is you know the people who
- 16:20Speaker 2: literally rewords that other people wrote for them to say,
- 16:24Speaker 2: songs that other people wrote for them to sing. But
- 16:27Speaker 2: the people that are in charge of the laws that
- 16:30Speaker 2: govern you, your family, your children, your country, you have
- 16:35Speaker 2: no idea who they are. How scary is that? And
- 16:39Speaker 2: you look at things like our election a couple of
- 16:41Speaker 2: weeks ago, and you see all the lunatics that were elected,
- 16:45Speaker 2: and then you look at the counties in which they were.
- 16:47Speaker 2: We still don't have answers about the GOP districts and
- 16:50Speaker 2: the campaign sites that were down on election day in
- 16:54Speaker 2: New Jersey for Chitdarelli. We still don't have answers about
- 16:57Speaker 2: Chester County in Pennsylvania. We still don't have answer about
- 17:00Speaker 2: things that happened in DC. We don't have things that
- 17:03Speaker 2: happened in Ohio. We don't have answers about things that
- 17:06Speaker 2: happened in Seattle. There are so many people that are
- 17:10Speaker 2: underrepresented and not because they're not doing their civic duty
- 17:14Speaker 2: and going out and voting, but because the voting is
- 17:17Speaker 2: so manipulated. Whether it's mail in ballots, whether it's the
- 17:21Speaker 2: fact that you don't ask for ID and somebody could
- 17:23Speaker 2: go in and vote seven times in a row and
- 17:24Speaker 2: nobody's going to stop them. It's really upsetting. I don't
- 17:30Speaker 2: know why we don't have to show ID to do
- 17:32Speaker 2: these things. You have to show ID to do just
- 17:35Speaker 2: about anything, but we don't have to show it to
- 17:37Speaker 2: elect people that are going to run the country. It's
- 17:42Speaker 2: it's gotten to a point now where we are dumbing
- 17:45Speaker 2: down America. And when people talk about things like AI
- 17:48Speaker 2: and how it's going to make us smarter and it's
- 17:50Speaker 2: going to assist us, you know there are places for
- 17:53Speaker 2: that sort of technology. For example, like the neuralink that
- 17:57Speaker 2: Elon Musk invented and he's helping people that are quadra paraplegics.
- 18:01Speaker 2: I think that's pretty incredible, and I think that's using
- 18:04Speaker 2: technology in a way that helps humanity. But when we
- 18:07Speaker 2: start replacing jobs, when we start using robots to build
- 18:11Speaker 2: houses instead of humans, when we start to ask robots
- 18:15Speaker 2: to help us set up our schedule because we don't
- 18:17Speaker 2: have the common sense or the concentration to do it ourselves.
- 18:22Speaker 2: We've got a problem. This isn't a movie anymore. This
- 18:25Speaker 2: is real life, and we can't be relying on AI
- 18:29Speaker 2: and robots and computers. It's one thing to help us
- 18:33Speaker 2: do our job. It's another thing to remove us from
- 18:37Speaker 2: doing our job because you're no longer needed, because you're
- 18:40Speaker 2: not using your brain critically. Your brain is a muscle,
- 18:43Speaker 2: you've got to use it. I'm on my soapbox and
- 18:47Speaker 2: I know that. I want to thank you guys for
- 18:48Speaker 2: listening tonight. This is the Roague Recap. I am Lynda McLaughlin.
- 18:52Speaker 2: Please check us out atmic at Rogue Recap and we'll
- 18:55Speaker 2: see you next time.
