- 0:00SPEAKER_00: Welcome to the Brains Body Podcast.
- 0:02SPEAKER_00: I am Dr.
- 0:03SPEAKER_00: Christopher Kevin Slayton, your host, and we are talking about the crises of self because as a human learning consultant, I want you to understand that the reason why I call my literature attention to the crisis self is because self is the experience of living, learning, thinking, and responding to contact, interaction.
- 0:29SPEAKER_00: And when you can't cooperate, that means that you don't want to conform.
- 0:35SPEAKER_00: So therefore, it breaks down your participation into how you feel or how you lack a sense of feel for the experience of self, other people, and the environment.
- 0:49SPEAKER_00: So that's why I talk through humanism science because humanism science study of brain, body, and sense events.
- 0:57SPEAKER_00: Each experience is an experience of how you evolve as an information processing system.
- 1:03SPEAKER_00: So we're talking about brain talk.
- 1:06SPEAKER_00: And we're talking about humanism science.
- 1:09SPEAKER_00: And if we're talking about brain talk, we have to talk about brain thinking.
- 1:14SPEAKER_00: Now, wait a minute.
- 1:15SPEAKER_00: Listen, pause for a second.
- 1:18SPEAKER_00: Now, how often do you think about how you think?
- 1:22SPEAKER_00: No, we're not talking about playing with words, we're talking about brain thinking because brain talks about how do I move through the experience of me in relation to other people that lead me to feel discomfort because I'm different, because I don't think like everyone else.
- 1:41SPEAKER_00: And that goes back to cooperation, conformity, and trying to move through the experience anyway.
- 1:49SPEAKER_00: And what are you lacking?
- 1:51SPEAKER_00: A sense of feel.
- 1:53SPEAKER_00: Because you got to see it coming, you got to see the negative flow coming, you got to experience that negative flow because the reflection that you're trying to reach moves from the memory of what happened and the emotion that took over in that moment that led you to feel the way that you feel.
- 2:17SPEAKER_00: Now stop it, because it's not psychology.
- 2:20SPEAKER_00: This is how the brain learns.
- 2:22SPEAKER_00: If we're talking about thinking, we're gonna talk about how the brain moves through energy, action, and feelings to think through the things you experience.
- 2:32SPEAKER_00: Here was some science.
- 2:34SPEAKER_00: Learning how the body lives, learning how the brain learns, learning how the senses experience brain-body connection and transform your external self and your internal self so that when I talk about reflection, it's an emergence, a connection between your brain and your body.
- 2:56SPEAKER_00: And that's how you begin to think things through because your brain and body become aligned.
- 3:03SPEAKER_00: So that emotion, that memory is being processed through thought and reflection.
- 3:08SPEAKER_00: No pick up the book.
- 3:09SPEAKER_00: Pick up the book.
- 3:10SPEAKER_00: I said this is not the mystics, this is about how the brain, body, and senses form a message system that communicates.
- 3:18SPEAKER_00: Another example, look at your body.
- 3:21SPEAKER_00: How did your body communicate?
- 3:23SPEAKER_00: Look at your brain.
- 3:24SPEAKER_00: How did your brain communicate?
- 3:26SPEAKER_00: And how do you sense and feel the information flow through your senses?
- 3:29SPEAKER_00: Wait a minute, we'll pause.
- 3:33SPEAKER_00: And what do you feel?
- 3:35SPEAKER_00: Do you feel emotion or thought when we pause?
- 3:40SPEAKER_00: No, because I'm talking to your brain, not your body.
- 3:43SPEAKER_00: And your body is what needs the relief because your body needs leadership.
- 3:48SPEAKER_00: And leadership comes from a sense of feel for the experience of contact, how you live, interaction, how you learn, cooperation, how you think, and participation, how you respond to the flow of information.
- 4:06SPEAKER_00: So the brain's body, podcast, time on human system science, brain thinking, improving information processing the crisis of self.
- 4:14SPEAKER_00: Why?
- 4:14SPEAKER_00: Because when other people talk about a crisis of self, they go into well, that's a personality issue.
- 4:23SPEAKER_00: No, that's an attitude problem.
- 4:26SPEAKER_00: No, no, that's a character issue.
- 4:29SPEAKER_00: No, no, that's a behavior disorder.
- 4:32SPEAKER_00: No, no, that's a classification of programmed signs of dysfunctionality or functionality so that you fit inside the box.
- 4:42SPEAKER_00: But no, human experience, human development, you can't fit inside a box because we are human beings and we experience things differently because we have a brain that processes the experience, and when you respond, you respond through insight.
- 4:58SPEAKER_00: No, because when you process that emotion and that memory, it's spinning into thought with reflection.
- 5:07SPEAKER_00: And with reflection, the synthesis of the experience, insight.
- 5:11SPEAKER_00: So that forward feed that responds to participation is sensitive, received path, knowledge being sent back through to the environment of self, other people, and then the world.
- 5:24SPEAKER_00: And now you understand what happened or what's not happening.
- 5:29SPEAKER_00: You're not processing the information, you're not processing the experience.
- 5:33SPEAKER_00: The first experience is you.
- 5:35SPEAKER_00: Get over it.
- 5:36SPEAKER_00: No, the the first experience is not someone else, it's you.
- 5:40SPEAKER_00: When someone's talking at you, you experience that information flow first, then you recognize them.
- 5:47SPEAKER_00: And now the brain has taken the lead.
- 5:50SPEAKER_00: Why?
- 5:50SPEAKER_00: Because it's been notified.
- 5:52SPEAKER_00: It's been notified.
- 5:54SPEAKER_00: Do you receive the notice or do you ignore the notice?
- 5:56SPEAKER_00: I'm talking about disconnect.
- 5:58SPEAKER_00: Brain body disconnection.
- 5:59SPEAKER_00: Why?
- 6:00SPEAKER_00: Because the body is physical, it's external.
- 6:02SPEAKER_00: Do you lean on your external self or do you lean towards your internal self?
- 6:07SPEAKER_00: Well, what I'm saying is you lean towards your internal self so that you can lead yourself through the crisis of understanding or misunderstanding that experience.
- 6:18SPEAKER_00: Because you're calculating that reflection is going to tell you what you've done right and what you've done wrong.
- 6:23SPEAKER_00: That's why you want to be a thinking person for yourself so that that reflection is recognized, because that reflection is how the brain catches up.
- 6:32SPEAKER_00: You make a mistake, you reflect on it.
- 6:35SPEAKER_00: And when you reflect on it, it's a synthesis.
- 6:38SPEAKER_00: And you want that synthesis to be forward feed because it's loaded with insight.
- 6:43SPEAKER_00: How do I move through the experience of contact in my home?
- 6:48SPEAKER_00: Interaction in my school, cooperation in my neighborhood.
- 6:53SPEAKER_00: How do I move through these variables that calculate how I participate in society?
- 7:01SPEAKER_00: I participate when I'm all alone.
- 7:03SPEAKER_00: How do I sense and receive information?
- 7:06SPEAKER_00: Period.
- 7:06SPEAKER_00: That's inside the book.
- 7:08SPEAKER_00: This is Dr.
- 7:09SPEAKER_00: Slayton Live coming at you.
- 7:11SPEAKER_00: I don't want to get so involved in the language system of human society.
- 7:17SPEAKER_00: Pick up the book.
- 7:22SPEAKER_00: I'll be back shortly.
