- 0:23Speaker 3: Yeah, I have a secret that I know is going
- 0:26Speaker 3: to make me sound like a total male Karen, but honestly,
- 0:29Speaker 3: I kind of don't even care anymore. I've been stealing
- 0:35Speaker 3: my neighbor's Halloween decorations. I've taken a couple of them,
- 0:39Speaker 3: and he has absolutely no idea that it's me.
- 0:42Speaker 1: You've been stealing them? Stealing his Halloween decorations?
- 0:47Speaker 2: What?
- 0:48Speaker 1: Okay.
- 0:49Speaker 3: So there's this guy in our neighborhood who goes absolutely
- 0:53Speaker 3: insane decorating his house for Halloween. And I'm not talking
- 0:58Speaker 3: about like cute pumpkins and skeletons. I'm talking straight up
- 1:02Speaker 3: R-rated like horror movie stuff. Okay. Yeah, he's got decorations
- 1:08Speaker 3: that literally squirt fake blood, mannequin heads scattered across his lawn,
- 1:14Speaker 3: that look like they've been cut off with chainsaws, and like,
- 1:18Speaker 3: you know, all kinds of disturbing and disgusting things. I'm
- 1:22Speaker 3: all for Halloween, but this guy takes it way too far,
- 1:26Speaker 3: and my kids are literally scared to walk to school
- 1:29Speaker 3: because they have to pass his house.
- 1:31Speaker 1: I mean, it's ridiculous.
- 1:33Speaker 2: No.
- 1:34Speaker 3: This guy doesn't have kids, so obviously he doesn't care. But,
- 1:38Speaker 3: you know, a lot of us, a lot of us do.
- 1:41Speaker 3: And I feel like when you're decorating your house for Halloween,
- 1:45Speaker 3: you should have some kind of consideration for the people
- 1:48Speaker 3: who have to look at it every day. Anyway.
- 1:52Speaker 1: Yeah. So what? So you're OK. So you think they're
- 1:57Speaker 1: too scary?
- 1:58Speaker 3: They're way too scary. My daughter, who's almost nine, the
- 2:04Speaker 3: other night she was crying because she was scared to
- 2:07Speaker 3: sleep in her own bed. It was because of this
- 2:11Speaker 3: creepy goat head this guy has in his yard.
- 2:15Speaker 1: Okay, goat heads.
- 2:17Speaker 3: And it makes horrifying noises when you walk by it, right?
- 2:21Speaker 3: So I finally had enough. You know, I got her
- 2:25Speaker 3: back to sleep. I walked down the street, grabbed the
- 2:28Speaker 3: stupid goat head, and threw it in a trash can
- 2:30Speaker 3: at the park. Not even my own trash can because
- 2:33Speaker 3: I don't want them to find it.
- 2:34Speaker 1: Oh, my God.
- 2:36Speaker 3: No.
- 2:37Speaker 2: Okay.
- 2:37Speaker 1: I get it. I'm not going to lie.
- 2:40Speaker 3: It felt great.
- 2:41Speaker 1: It's extreme. It's extreme.
- 2:43Speaker 4: It is extreme because then you have to deal with
- 2:45Speaker 4: the repercussions of like how you parent because your kid
- 2:48Speaker 4: is scarred by this stuff they're seeing just trying to
- 2:50Speaker 4: walk to school.
- 2:51Speaker 1: Some of it's intense. You're saying that's extreme. I'm saying
- 2:54Speaker 1: it's extreme stealing his decorations. Yeah, that's what I'm talking about.
- 2:56Speaker 4: Well, that's extreme too, but like.
- 2:59Speaker 1: Okay.
- 2:59Speaker 4: I don't condone stealing.
- 3:01Speaker 1: I've taken a couple other things too. You have taken more.
- 3:03Speaker 1: I've taken a couple other things too.
- 3:04Speaker 2: He has no idea that you're doing this. Now, obviously
- 3:07Speaker 2: stealing's not right. I mean, let's come on. I'm not
- 3:10Speaker 2: saying you're doing the right thing. Um, as a parent,
- 3:12Speaker 2: I can understand, but is this not an opportunity to
- 3:15Speaker 2: talk to your daughter or your kids and be like, Hey,
- 3:17Speaker 2: this isn't.
- 3:18Speaker 1: Real still though.
- 3:19Speaker 4: That's hard.
- 3:20Speaker 1: I know.
- 3:20Speaker 2: I mean, I went through it too, but I just
- 3:23Speaker 2: don't know if you could change the world because of
- 3:25Speaker 2: your kid.
- 3:25Speaker 1: And I'm not saying that guy's doing the right thing,
- 3:28Speaker 1: but I'm just saying, what happens if you get caught?
- 3:31Speaker 1: It's not worth that. Your kid's going to see you
- 3:33Speaker 1: go to jail.
- 3:34Speaker 3: I get stealing is wrong, but I also think there's
- 3:37Speaker 3: a point where people need to be considerate of the neighbors.
- 3:41Speaker 3: Like Halloween is supposed to be fun, not something that
- 3:43Speaker 3: gives little kids nightmares, you know? And, and yeah, she's still,
- 3:48Speaker 3: you know, my daughter's still scared of the house and like,
- 3:50Speaker 3: you know, he's still putting up more decorations.
- 3:53Speaker 2: Well, what about going to talk to him first before
- 3:55Speaker 2: you steal stuff and tell him the situation?
- 3:58Speaker 1: That's the thing.
- 3:59Speaker 3: He's the kind of guy that if you were trying
- 4:02Speaker 3: to have a civil conversation with him, it would get
- 4:04Speaker 3: ugly pretty quick. So there's kind of no point there.
- 4:09Speaker 3: I know people are going to say I'm wrong, but
- 4:12Speaker 3: I think there's a limit to how scary. You should
- 4:15Speaker 3: be allowed to make your house.
- 4:17Speaker 1: I don't want blood squirting out onto the sidewalk. Hold up,
- 4:20Speaker 1: but it's his house. He can do what he wants
- 4:22Speaker 1: to with his house. It's his house. It's Halloween.
- 4:26Speaker 4: Halloween night, if you want to put all this hairy
- 4:30Speaker 4: stuff and squirt blood everywhere and have a fog machine,
- 4:33Speaker 4: do you? But I think weeks leading up, blood everywhere
- 4:36Speaker 4: and guts.
- 4:37Speaker 1: But Halloween is different to different people. It's not like
- 4:41Speaker 1: Christmas where we all can kind of agree what that's
- 4:44Speaker 1: all about.
- 4:44Speaker 2: Yeah. Halloween, it's supposed to be scary, spooky and spirits.
- 4:48Speaker 2: And I mean, I guess we're going to put up
- 4:49Speaker 2: the most friendly ghost ever.
- 4:51Speaker 1: Casper. There's Casper. In your front yard. If that's not
- 4:54Speaker 1: what you're into, okay. But I understand where you're coming from. Yeah.
- 4:58Speaker 1: I'm going to see what people think because, I mean,
- 5:00Speaker 1: I don't know. That's a good.
- 5:01Speaker 2: Because Candace obviously thinks that... I'm not saying you agree
- 5:05Speaker 2: with theft.
- 5:06Speaker 1: No, I don't.
- 5:07Speaker 2: Vandalism.
- 5:07Speaker 1: But some of it's gone way too far.
- 5:08Speaker 4: Like our old house, somebody sent me a picture of it,
- 5:11Speaker 4: one of our old neighbors, and the new homeowners had like...
- 5:15Speaker 4: A truck parked in the driveway. It had a dead
- 5:18Speaker 4: body basically hanging out of the back and then blood
- 5:21Speaker 4: all over the driveway.
- 5:22Speaker 2: Oh. Yeah.
- 5:23Speaker 4: I could not believe it.
- 5:24Speaker 1: That's awesome. I grew up in Detroit, so that just
- 5:28Speaker 1: feels like home.
- 5:28Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 5:31Speaker 4: I mean, obviously it was like a stuffed, you know,
- 5:33Speaker 4: they just stuffed the clothes or whatever of the thing,
- 5:35Speaker 4: but like the blood and stuff, we.
- 5:37Speaker 1: Don't need that. Yeah, we do. Halloween night, go for it.
- 5:40Speaker 1: So why'd he die if there's no blood? Exactly. Why
- 5:43Speaker 1: is this guy slumped over in the truck?
- 5:45Speaker 4: He got scared to death.
- 5:46Speaker 1: Oh, he's sleeping, honey.
- 5:48Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 5:48Speaker 3: I know, right?
- 5:50Speaker 2: Well, sir, I'm going to see what people think. Very
- 5:52Speaker 2: interesting secret. I mean, fascinating. And I think it's going
- 5:56Speaker 2: to cause some people to talk about it. So let's
- 5:59Speaker 2: get into these. I'm already seeing people call. So we'll
- 6:01Speaker 2: get to them. And thank you for your confession.
- 6:04Speaker 1: Absolutely. A little too scary for Candace Lopez, though. A
- 6:07Speaker 1: little bit.
- 6:08Speaker 2: Then you really were terrified at Thrillvania.
- 6:10Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.
- 6:11Speaker 1: For sure.
