- 0:57It helps us so much. All right, let's get into the
- 1:00stories. The 1st right that I have for
- 1:01you guys today is I'm going to be giving you guys an Anna Paul
- 1:06Michaela Testa update. Earlier this week, Michaela
- 1:09Testa posted a lengthy TikTok video filled with accusations
- 1:13against her friend Anna Paul. Both Michaela and Anna are
- 1:16Australian influencers and Only Fans models.
- 1:19They've been friends for 10 years, and Michaela dated Anna's
- 1:22brother Addis from 2019 to 2022. You can go back to my video from
- 1:28Monday about all of this, but essentially Michaela accused
- 1:30Anna of being kind of like a fraud and lying to fans about
- 1:34how nice she is, how wealthy she grew up, and also accused Anna's
- 1:39brother Addis of abusing her. OK, so Anna has responded to
- 1:43some of these accusations in her own video.
- 1:45First thing I want to address is that apparently in 2021 fan came
- 1:49up to me and we hugged and after she walked away I said Oh my God
- 1:53she was so fat and sweaty. Now I do not call my fans fat
- 1:56sweaty. However I may have called her
- 1:59sweaty. She said there's a lot of
- 2:00missing contacts from the information and like the photos
- 2:04going around the Internet that quote UN quote, like prove that
- 2:07Anna is lying about growing up poor.
- 2:09So for example, she says that her family house that Michaela
- 2:12referenced in the TikTok video was not her childhood home.
- 2:16It was a house that I guess her dad bought when she was already
- 2:19in adults, she says. There's this photo going around
- 2:22of her in first class as a 13 year old and she explained that
- 2:26she and her brother were moved to 1st class so they were
- 2:29traveling to visit family in Germany alone without their
- 2:32parents. Her uncle paid for economy
- 2:35flights for them. Anna and her brother were moved
- 2:37to 1st class after her brother vomited and because they were
- 2:40like kids flying alone, the flight attendants there was
- 2:43extra space up at the front and they brought them to the front.
- 2:45There's a segment of audio from Anna's video that is going viral
- 2:51everywhere. When?
- 2:52We can't afford school uniforms. It makes me feel broke when I'm
- 2:55eleven, when I'm 10 and all my friends can afford something and
- 2:58my parents can't, It makes me feel broke when they say, oh, I
- 3:01don't know how we're going to afford rent next week.
- 3:03That makes me scared and makes me feel broke.
- 3:05But that is kind of the gist of what she's saying regarding like
- 3:08the conversations around her wealth growing up.
- 3:11And she finished by saying this type of stuff can lead to
- 3:14intense bullying and 'cause people to take their own lives,
- 3:17which is very true. We did not address Michaela's
- 3:21claims about Addis. OK, so since Michaela posted
- 3:24that video, fans were asking for some receipts to her claims and
- 3:28she said she would provide them. However, she returned with an
- 3:31Instagram story that says quote, hi guys, I did promise receipts.
- 3:36While going through and actually collecting them and reviewing
- 3:38them, I realized something very, very sinister was happening to
- 3:41me for many years. This is something the police
- 3:43should be seeing, not the Internet.
- 3:45Although at some stage I will be able to share my story in full
- 3:48as I have shared every piece of my life with you all so far, I
- 3:51will have to delay for now. I will be moving forward legally
- 3:55the way it should be. But yeah, I mean I don't
- 3:57actually follow either of them closely, just very like
- 4:00peripherally. So I don't have a strong opinion
- 4:02over this. I know that Anna has a lot of
- 4:05fans, but I also know that there are a lot of people who are
- 4:10coming out of the woodwork saying like this is Anna's
- 4:13thing. You know, I've known this about
- 4:14her for so long. She is really fake.
- 4:17I mean, at the end of the day, I think it's really, it's not that
- 4:21crazy to say that an influencer's public persona is
- 4:25different than who they are behind the scenes.
- 4:27I do think a lot of us are like aware of that in theory, but I
- 4:31think when we hear it explains like this, it's almost like
- 4:34breaking the 4th wall and we hear specific examples and it
- 4:38feels like it's all contradictory.
- 4:41It's like we always like kind of know this in theory that
- 4:43everything someone puts out as a performance.
- 4:45Like even if you think about like a TikTok, if you guys have
- 4:47ever made your own TikTok or anything you post on Instagram
- 4:50or whatever, like you're performing in a way for the
- 4:54camera, whether it's just a photo that you've taken or a
- 4:57TikTok you've made or whatever. It's like we all know that.
- 5:00But I think to hear it like this so blatantly, it can feel a bit
- 5:04like disturbing. But I think there's a lot of
- 5:07people who feel kind of betrayed by Anna from this whole
- 5:10situation. I think she's lost a million
- 5:13followers. I mean, she had 7 million, but I
- 5:16saw somewhere, I haven't actually checked with myself
- 5:17that she's lost about 1,000,000 followers across her platforms.
- 5:20And a lot of these influencers have very young audiences.
- 5:23And it's hard to grasp. It's hard to grasp for all of
- 5:26us. You know, I can't imagine
- 5:28growing up as like a Gen. Z Gen. alpha any generation now
- 5:32moving forward with TikTok from such a young age.
- 5:36And just like social media from such a young age, it feels a bit
- 5:39like a dystopian. All right, the next story that I
- 5:41have for you guys is I'm going to be sharing the story of the
- 5:45American woman who is going viral for refusing to leave
- 5:49Pakistan. I'm sure a bunch of you guys
- 5:52have seen this, but there is an American woman going viral all
- 5:55over TikTok because she refuses to leave Pakistan in the pursuit
- 5:59of love. Well, initially love.
- 6:01OK, so the woman's name is Anya Andrew Robinson and she is 34
- 6:06years old. In October, she took a flight to
- 6:08Pakistan to marry a 19 year old man that she met on Facebook.
- 6:12She's 34, he's 19, he's a teenager.
- 6:14His family reportedly refused the union, and when she landed,
- 6:19they didn't even get a chance to meet up.
- 6:22Reportedly, there's like some conflicting reports.
- 6:24People aren't totally sure, but it seems like they probably
- 6:28didn't even meet. But Anya doesn't take no for an
- 6:31answer. So she allegedly camped outside
- 6:33his family's apartment for 30 hours.
- 6:37His family vacated, locked the doors.
- 6:40She didn't care. She stayed put and she was
- 6:43refusing to leave the country for months.
- 6:46And now she started doing these press conferences demanding
- 6:49things from the Pakistani government.
- 6:52And these demands change like every single day.
- 6:54In one interview, she demanded, quote, I'm asking for $100,000
- 6:59and I need $20,000 in cash by the end of this week.
- 7:02That's my demand of the government.
- 7:04Pakistan needs new buses, taxis and cars.
- 7:07And then when asked what her plan was by a reporter, she said
- 7:11none of your business. Another time she declared that
- 7:14she was married to the 19 year old make.
- 7:16Sure. You get this on your camera.
- 7:17I'm married to Nidel Hamid. I'm on Nigel Hamid.
- 7:21We are moving to Dubai very soon.
- 7:24We're going to have our baby and Dubai.
- 7:27Again, it's unclear if they've ever even met.
- 7:30Local NGOs, authorities and even a governor in Pakistan offered
- 7:34to fly her home, and she refused every time.
- 7:37So this whole situation since the press conferences started
- 7:40has been memed all over TikTok. People are standing her so hard
- 7:44for, like, her audacity for the chaos of this whole situation.
- 7:49But it's important to remember when we're watching things like
- 7:52this that just feels so unhinged, like there is a real
- 7:56person behind this account, behind these press conferences
- 8:01that we're watching behind the screen who is very obviously
- 8:05struggling, like, is very obviously unwell.
- 8:08And yes, like, it is funny that she is making these demands.
- 8:13It is honestly really sweet the way that the entire country, you
- 8:17know, the government, they've all been supporting her and
- 8:21being so patient with her. And I think handling this with a
- 8:25lot of care as far as I have seen.
- 8:27And a lot of people saying that like this has really shown such
- 8:30an amazing side to this country because the way that they're
- 8:34just handling this with such grace is amazing to see.
- 8:37So it does just kind of feel like we're making a spectacle
- 8:40out of someone who is mentally unwell.
- 8:43And I recognize that I am contributing to that by
- 8:45reporting on this story. Of course, the latest reports
- 8:48that I could find do claim that she finally accepted a flight
- 8:51home, but it is unclear if this is true.
- 8:54OK. And the last story that I have
- 8:55for you guys is that Tricia Paytas has made made her
- 8:59Broadway debut. Trisha made her Broadway debut
- 9:02this week and it was literally * studded.
- 9:06So Trisha's always talked about how being on Broadway is, you
- 9:09know, like her ultimate dream. But she obviously never thought
- 9:12that that would come to fruition.
- 9:14But here's how it happened. So on April Fools Day 2024,
- 9:19Broadway producer Kobe Casal ran an article on his website about
- 9:22Tricia Paytas playing Roxy in Chicago.
- 9:25I guess he does these kind of like, joking announcements,
- 9:28articles on April Fools here and there.
- 9:31And the reception to this, like, so Tricia reposted this and was
- 9:35kind of like playing along. And the reception to this was so
- 9:38insane. And it made him think like, oh,
- 9:39maybe this is a good idea. Like, why can't Tricia be on
- 9:42Broadway? He obviously saw that like
- 9:44people would show out for this, so he approached Trisha's team
- 9:49and they put together her show, Trisha Paytas's Big Broadway
- 9:52Dream. The show debuted on February 3rd
- 9:55with 1700 fans in the audience and thousands of people
- 9:59streaming it online worldwide. According to today.com Quote,
- 10:03Paytas pulled out references to her now viral YouTube videos
- 10:06while also bringing out Broadway legends like Sutton Foster, Ben
- 10:10Platt and Rachel Zeigler as guests in exaggerated on stage
- 10:15interviews for a makeshift version of her her podcast while
- 10:18also singing some duets. Of course, the absurd One Night
- 10:22Only special gave fans around the world a glimpse into the
- 10:24mind of Paytas, complete with throwbacks to her meme worthy
- 10:28moments like crying on her kitchen floor, while also
- 10:30incorporating nods to her podcast with Broadway stars.
- 10:34I mean, I would actually die to have been there.
- 10:37That would be so cool to see. No matter how you feel about
- 10:40Tricia, she is truly an Internet legend.
- 10:42And this, I mean, I've talked about this so many times, but
- 10:45like her renaissance, again, no matter how you feel about her,
- 10:47her renaissance these past couple of years is honestly
- 10:52shocking to see. It's I don't, I don't know if we
- 10:55have seen a bounce back this hard before.
- 10:59This is such like a mainstream stamp of approval and she's just
- 11:05had this, I was going to say like a second wind to her
- 11:08career, but I don't even know if you could call it that because I
- 11:11don't even think it compares to like the first quote, UN quote
- 11:13wind of her career. You know what I mean?
- 11:15I think this is like another level of her career that was
- 11:21completely like, you can't even compare it to earlier days.
- 11:25She's basically getting everything she ever wanted and
- 11:28it only took what, 1520 years to get there.
- 11:31So if that's not an inspiring story to keep going, I don't
- 11:36know what is. It's crazy the cast that she had
- 11:40in this. I know it was one night only,
- 11:41but still, that is so wild. All right guys, well, that's it
- 11:44for mini scroll today. Thank you so much for listening.
- 11:46Please rate review and subscribe.
- 11:48I love you guys and there will be a deep dive tomorrow and then
- 11:53I will talk to you on Monday. Bye.
