- 0:00There were two farmers once who had adjoining fields.
- 0:04The one never worked in his field on Sunday and his neighbor
- 0:08used to chide him about it. He said, your crops aren't doing
- 0:12as well as mine are. Why don't you work on Sunday?
- 0:16The other farmer said, well, I want to do what the Lord said.
- 0:20I want to gain the blessings of the Lord.
- 0:24Then one, let's say, because it's we're in the Southern
- 0:29hemisphere. Then one March day they stood at
- 0:33a fence line. The one farmer said, just look
- 0:37at it. Look at my field.
- 0:38It is beautiful. Now I know you don't have a lot
- 0:41of grain here, but I'll say the grain is tall, the heads are
- 0:45full of wheat, and your field shows little signs of neglect.
- 0:50You haven't tended yours as well as I've tended mine.
- 0:54Look at my harvest compared to yours.
- 0:58What do you say now about the blessing you thought you were
- 1:03earning? The other farmer thought for a
- 1:07few minutes and he said the Lord doesn't balance his books in
- 1:13March. The Lord doesn't balance his
- 1:18books in March. We, we can't help but look on
- 1:23life eternally, can we? We know the Church of Jesus
- 1:28Christ has been restored to the earth with the power of the
- 1:31priesthood, but our challenge is to sink deep into our hearts.
- 1:37And we not only have the New Testament, we have the Book of
- 1:41Mormon, which speaks of his immortal atonement in such a
- 1:46beautiful way. Our challenge is to believe in
- 1:51Him and trust in Him. We are not in competition with
- 1:55other Christian religions, we're in competition with ourselves to
- 2:01have faith in Him, trust in Him, keep His commandments and follow
- 2:06Him. He said if any man I could add
- 2:11in, woman will come after me, let him deny Himself and take up
- 2:18his cross daily and follow me. That's our challenge, my dear
- 2:23fellow believers in Christ. He lives.
- 2:28He is resurrected. Our faith will not be in vain,
- 2:33for he is very, very real. And one day every knee will bow,
- 2:38and every tongue confess that He is the Christ.
