⚡ALERT⚡ Will SILVER Save you... Like IT Did For Grandpa!! · SILVER / GOLD / $UFD: Surviving Global Economic Shifts | RONS BASEMENT

• 0:00
  Shocking information about silver.
• 0:02
When you compare the price of staples, things like milk,
• 0:05
bread, gasoline from the year 1955 through today and compare
• 0:12
that to the price of silver, what it's done over those same
• 0:15
  periods, it's downright shocking.
• 0:17
But even more shocking is when you consider right now, as we
• 0:22
move into the next 50 years, the demand for silver from the solar
• 0:27
industry alone. We're going to touch on both of
• 0:30
those interesting topics with our good friend, the one and
• 0:34
only Mr. Coin Shop. Chris, welcome to Ron's
• 0:37
Basement. Well, Ron, it's always good back
• 0:40
to be back in the basement. It's after Thanksgiving, Ron,
• 0:43
it's Friday morning. Life is good.
• 0:45
So let's get to it, my friend. Let's get to it.
• 0:48
And let's remind everybody that's with us how much we
• 0:51
appreciate them being here. Don't we appreciate everyone
• 0:53
  being here, Chris? Absolutely.
• 0:55
We just need everybody to like, share and subscribe.
• 0:58
We're trying to get to 30,000 by Christmas.
• 1:01
Ron says by the, I'm saying by Christmas.
• 1:04
Well, let's see who's right. Let's see we're both wrong.
• 1:08
So if you can share this out to one person, we appreciate it.
• 1:11
Thank you. Thank you very much.
• 1:16
What our viewers, Chris, if they were around in 1955, what would
• 1:22
they have experienced over the last number of years in terms of
• 1:25
price for things like gas, milk, bread.
• 1:28
But also is it super interesting when you compare those price
• 1:33
increases to how much silver has gone up in value?
• 1:38
Well, absolutely, Ryan. You know, I mean, I did a little
• 1:41
bit of research here. You know, I went back to 1955.
• 1:45
You know, and we would think these prices were awesome today,
• 1:49
but really you think about it, some of these prices may have
• 1:52
been high back in these time frames.
• 1:54
For for instance Ron, you know I did it from 1955 to 2022 and I
• 2:00
really did it in 20 year increments.
• 2:02
So let's just start off for gas, Ron.
• 2:05
Gas 1955 national average was $0.29.
• 2:10
  Seventy 1975 Which $0.57. 1995 was $1.15 for gas, 2015 was 243
• 2:20
  and 2022 when average was 395. I remember I remember 1995, a
• 2:26
Nissan, brand new Nissan Pathfinder and I was shocked at
• 2:32
how low gas mileage it got. But I remember filling up and
• 2:35
and I was filling up his local gas station.
• 2:37
It was a dollar a gallon, right? Price it, I thought.
• 2:40
Well, it's not so bad gas. It's not going to kill me that
• 2:43
bad. I got to pay a buck a gallon.
• 2:44
Sorry, I interjected. What about milk?
• 2:46
I never liked milk myself, Chris.
• 2:48
But what? What did what did you learn
• 2:49
about milk? We're all milk 1955, Yeah, then
• 2:53
you might still have the milk man around at that time, but a
• 2:56
gallon of milk was $0.93 a gallon in 1955.
• 3:01
We're going to speed that up to 1975.
• 3:03
Ron gallon milk was $1.50 seven 1995 when you were just starting
• 3:09
driving Ron. Maybe a little bit younger than
• 3:13
that, but milk was 248 a gallon. Average 2015 milk on up to 342
• 3:20
on last year, 2022 average national price was four O 9 a
• 3:25
  gallon on. Wow.
• 3:27
Wow, what about bread? Bread 195517 cents for generic
• 3:34
white loaf 1975. We're going to get to $0.25.
• 3:40
  199575 cents a low 2015 180 three 2022 with 187 on.
• 3:52
OK, so when I. Look at these numbers, 2022, I'm
• 3:55
sorry, 2022. So when I look at these numbers,
• 3:58
just roughly between 1955 and and 2022, it looks to me like
• 4:03
gas went up now 12 or 13 times in price.
• 4:07
Milk went up about four times in price.
• 4:11
Bread went up about, oh, let's say 2020, no, 1010 times in
• 4:19
price. So Silver, how did it fare
• 4:23
during that during that time frame?
• 4:26
All right, we're going to keep this in mind through 1955.
• 4:29
  Wrong. We were still using.
• 4:31
They were still using 90% junk serving circulation.
• 4:36
So in 1955 Ron an ounce of server with a cost $0.91.
• 4:41
Just keep that in mind everybody, when I say $0.91 for
• 4:45
a minute and 1975 server jumped up to 443 Ron in 1990 five,
• 4:53
$5.20 two thousand and $1515.66 and 2022 average.
• 5:03
Announced minus the premiums of course was 2176.
• 5:06
It's a spot price only. So what this tell me Ron is you
• 5:12
take everything, you take the other three items that we've had
• 5:16
on this list, you need more dollars today then you needed
• 5:22
the previous years. So if Grandpa Joe saved you $100
• 5:27
in cash or you have $100 in cash.
• 5:31
Silver is worth a heck a lot more value, and some people like
• 5:37
to call it a worthless rock. Well, I disagree.
• 5:42
  Yeah. Yeah.
• 5:43
Well, I mean, again, if you look at gas up 12 times, milk four
• 5:49
times, bread went up 10 times, OK.
• 5:53
But if I look at silver, it went up way more in value during that
• 5:58
time period. It looks like to me probably,
• 6:00
and I'm doing all this in my head, but at least probably 24
• 6:04
times roughly in value. So you know, the value of each
• 6:10
ounce of silver that you would have held in that time period
• 6:14
far exceeded the the the increase in price that you would
• 6:20
have experienced in any of those 3 categories, gas, milk or
• 6:23
bread. First, Mining Gold is a
• 6:25
development company advancing two of the largest gold projects
• 6:29
in Canada, Spring Pole in Ontario and Duparque, located in
• 6:34
Quebec. Each already has. 5 million
• 6:37
ounces of gold reserves but. Exploration initiatives are
• 6:41
underway at both projects to find even more gold.
• 6:46
First, mining is well financed, has zero debt and owns an
• 6:50
interest in four additional Canadian Gold development
• 6:54
projects. You go back to 1955.
• 6:56
Yes, 119 fifty. It was a heck of a lot of money
• 7:00
Ron, back then, but would you rather have some of the saved
• 7:03
U.S. dollar bill from 1955 or 100 oz silver?
• 7:09
And you got it this Christmas, Ron.
• 7:11
Whoever saved that for you? Which one would you rather have?
• 7:15
Yeah, Yeah. Well, you know, Chris, another
• 7:18
way. You know what I'd rather have?
• 7:20
I love paper money. I just love stacking it up.
• 7:23
I love the way the paper feels in my hands and the way it
• 7:26
sounds when you rub it together. You know, I just love paper
• 7:30
money. Another way to think about this
• 7:32
is that in 1955, let's say you you had $100 bill.
• 7:39
You could have gone to the grocery store and roughly bought
• 7:42
yourself 100 gallons of milk, right?
• 7:46
Or and had a had a big milk party.
• 7:49
Or you could have taken that $100 bill and gone and bought
• 7:52
yourself 100 ounces of silver, right?
• 7:56
Today, that silver, that 100 oz would be worth 2400 U.S.
• 8:03
dollars, right? And with that you could buy,
• 8:09
what, 600 gallons of milk. Is that right?
• 8:13
Yeah, 600 gallons of milk. Bingo.
• 8:17
You got it. Yes, you're right.
• 8:21
So maybe this is the video for people that you're trying to
• 8:24
talk. Who drink a lot of milk?
• 8:25
This is the video for people who drink too much milk that if
• 8:29
Chris's grandpa, Chris's grandpa Chris like, just like Chris eats
• 8:33
too many Ding dongs, Chris's grandpa drank too much milk.
• 8:36
And if in 1955 that guy, instead of having bought that 100
• 8:40
gallons of milk, he bought Chris 100 ounces of silver, today that
• 8:44
same grandpa could have bought the 100 ounces of, I'm sorry,
• 8:48
the 100 gallons of milk and had 500 ounces of silver.
• 8:52
No, no, wait. Anyway, he'd have a bunch of
• 8:54
silver leftover. He'd have, you know, 80 ounces
• 8:58
  of silver leftover. Absolutely.
• 9:01
Well, my point make maybe this is the video for any of us, we
• 9:05
have friends, relatives on the fence line about silver or gold.
• 9:11
You know, we can do the same thing with gold.
• 9:13
But we, you know, we talked about silver a lot here and
• 9:16
maybe, you know, get this video up to them.
• 9:19
It will kind of sink in then that, you know, dolls are going
• 9:24
to the garbage can. And silver and gold are real
• 9:28
money. I don't know else where to put
• 9:29
it run. OK, I think you did a great job.
• 9:32
So Chris, what do you say that we stop lingering in the past
• 9:37
and move to the future for a few minutes?
• 9:39
How would you feel about that? Well, absolutely.
• 9:42
Let's do it. Let's go to let's go to the
• 9:44
  future. Let's just.
• 9:45
I just want to get your opinion on one fascinating subject about
• 9:49
Silver and the fact that right now, right now, as you and I are
• 9:54
speaking right and and we have our viewer who's with us and
• 9:57
again, we appreciate you being here.
• 9:58
Please give this a thumbs up, leave a comment in the comment
• 10:01
section below. We want to hear from you.
• 10:04
Do you think Chris's analysis, my analysis of that 1955 to
• 10:09
present day value comparison between Silver and and those 3
• 10:14
staple items. Do you think that was accurate?
• 10:16
Do you agree with it? Do you disagree with it?
• 10:18
It's OK leave a comments OK our viewers, we appreciate you.
• 10:22
We want to learn from you. We want to get to know you.
• 10:25
But right now all three of us Ron Chris and you Mr. or misses
• 10:30
viewer let's talk about right now.
• 10:32
And the fact is that there is exploding demand for silver in a
• 10:39
lot of areas, one of which which is critical and huge is the
• 10:44
solar industry. The Silver Institute has
• 10:46
predicted that this year 2023, the photovoltaic, which is a
• 10:51
fancy way of saying solar industry, will consume 160
• 10:55
million ounces of silver. Many people think the final
• 10:58
number will be closer to 200 million ounces of silver.
• 11:03
That is 20% of the world's annual production of silver,
• 11:07
which is 1 billion oz. That's right now, OK.
• 11:11
But what we're hearing is that this big COP 28, that's part of
• 11:16
the United Nations, same place where the Paris Accords came
• 11:20
from, that within the next four or five weeks we may have a
• 11:23
declaration, a treaty basically amongst the world's most
• 11:26
powerful nations, which will dictate that in the next six
• 11:31
years the amount of current solar capacity in the world will
• 11:36
  be tripled. OK.
• 11:37
And most of that, a big chunk of that would be solar.
• 11:41
And on top of that, that the new generations of solar panels use
• 11:46
up to or maybe even exceed 50% more silver per panel.
• 11:52
So we're gonna have we already have exploding solar panels or
• 11:55
may have even more of an explosion solar panels and the
• 11:59
new solar panels use significantly more silver.
• 12:03
Chris, what do you think about that?
• 12:05
Well, I think this is a skyrocket first silver rock.
• 12:08
I mean where are we going to find it?
• 12:10
We don't have mines opening up, Ron.
• 12:12
You know, as you know Ron, you talk to many, many different CE
• 12:16
OS where it takes what, 10/15/20 years to build a mine out when
• 12:21
you discover a new silver. And most silver, as you know,
• 12:24
Ron, it's a byproduct. When they're searching for other
• 12:27
metals like gold, like copper, where are we going to find it?
• 12:33
That is why I'm glad and we all should be glad we have silver in
• 12:38
our hands. We don't have Unicorn, that's
• 12:41
Bitcoin, but we have real physical metal in our hands and
• 12:47
just get back from it. What we just did, Ron, was going
• 12:50
back in history with the prices. Yeah, yeah.
• 12:54
Going future. This is why we've always said
• 12:57
silver and gold a long time hold.
• 13:00
You're not going to get rich overnight and and that just
• 13:04
proves that point even further on.
• 13:06
But going back to what you were saying on where we you're not,
• 13:09
you're not, you're not answering the question correctly, but go
• 13:12
  ahead, Chris. Well, what?
• 13:15
How do you want me answer it? I mean, yes, we can have
• 13:17
explosive silver prices. I I really don't know how to
• 13:23
answer that question, Ron. But you know, I mean, I'm
• 13:25
thinking you did a great job. I was joking around with you.
• 13:29
The the correct answer is next time you see a solar panel in
• 13:32
your neighbor's yard or wherever you are, go up and give it a big
• 13:35
  hug. Because.
• 13:37
Because they're they're our new friend.
• 13:40
Well, if you want to climb up on someone's lad on someone's roof
• 13:42
and give it a big hug going, my feet will stay on the ground, my
• 13:45
friend. I do it all the time, Chris.
• 13:47
My neighbors are used to it. My, my neighbors are used to it
• 13:52
  now. You did it.
• 13:52
You did a great job, my friend. And did we already ask everyone
• 13:56
who's with us right now to please subscribe to the channel?
• 13:59
I want to remind everyone all this content is free.
• 14:03
Coin Shop Chris joins us out of the kindness of his heart.
• 14:06
If you want to support Coin Shop Chris, there's a link.
• 14:10
I'll put a pin comment and a link in the description of this
• 14:14
video with his PayPal address where if you want to support
• 14:18
Coin Shop Chris for all the work that he puts in for Rons
• 14:21
Basement and these videos, you can do that there.
• 14:24
What about the deal of the Week? Everyone's waiting, right?
• 14:28
This is a normal segment that we do on the channel where we
• 14:31
compare apples to apples between the big online bullion dealers,
• 14:36
the price for one product and Chris takes these prices at a
• 14:40
specific time, it's always the same time and he always compares
• 14:44
the cash cost or ACH cost for the products for buying just
• 14:52
one. So Chris, what did you find this
• 14:54
week? Well, I want to thank you.
• 14:56
Before we get into that, I would like to thank you for the shout
• 14:59
out and I would like to thank all your viewers for the
• 15:01
  support. It is tremendous support.
• 15:03
You guys are awesome. So let's get right to it this
• 15:06
we're basement dwellers. And we got mostly we got 99
• 15:11
point 9.5% of them are good ones.
• 15:14
So I'll leave it as that. So I mean, this week we do the
• 15:18
Thanksgiving here in the state you're on, you know, everybody's
• 15:22
schedule being messed up this week and so.
• 15:25
We've been doing our video a little bit earlier than normal,
• 15:28
but we took these, I took these prices are on on Thanksgiving
• 15:31
night at six O 7:00 PM. So when you hear these prices
• 15:36
and you go look these prices will differ from what we're
• 15:39
advertising. So this week we're going to you
• 15:43
had a mouthful. You had a mouthful of Turkey
• 15:45
when you took these prizes, right buddy?
• 15:47
I had a mouthful of Turkey and and a mouthful of pecan pie on
• 15:52
for the ones in the South Pecan pie.
• 15:55
So all right, we got 2023 Cougarrands.
• 16:00
JM Bowen was $30.08. That was for one to 24 of them.
• 16:07
At Max was 2942. Again the same 1 to 24 pricing
• 16:14
SD Boeing was 2868. Again the same 1 to 24 price
• 16:19
  point. Hero Bowen.
• 16:21
They were out, but they had a price.
• 16:23
So where I'm going to give the price was 2826.
• 16:26
They were out though but that with that place was also 1 to 24
• 16:31
money metals did not have 20 threes in stock.
• 16:35
So this is really not comparing apples to apples.
• 16:38
They had random years 2946 again 1 to 24 price point shop I work
• 16:47
for. We are currently out of them so
• 16:49
I couldn't give a price there, but pin backs actually beats.
• 16:53
That beats everybody out again at 2761.
• 16:57
Again the same price 1 to 24 price point.
• 17:00
So if you took JM bowling on and divided minus the price from to
• 17:08
Max, you're going to save $2.47 on each one, or you do the Max
• 17:13
at 24, you would say $57.28. Why are we shopping any?
• 17:19
My question is, why? Are we really shopping anywhere
• 17:21
else? Imbex has the best prices all
• 17:25
the time, week after week. Why are we shopping at JM?
• 17:29
Why are we shopping at SD? You want to pay more?
• 17:32
Well then I guess you can. I guess you can help Ron and I
• 17:36
out and throw some money on our PayPal accounts.
• 17:38
But you know you got money to toss and trash can.
• 17:42
This is trying to do Ron, you know this, Ron, we just want to
• 17:46
help your viewers save money and your sponsor is trying to help
• 17:50
people to save money at the best prices.
• 17:53
I gotta get Pimbex a shout out every week.
• 17:56
You guys are awesome. Thank you.
• 17:57
Now I'll be quiet. Thank you.
• 17:59
  You're OK. I'm, I apologize for speaking
• 18:01
  over. Yes.
• 18:02
Pimbex Pi, MB, EX online bullying dealer.
• 18:06
They are a sponsor of my channel.
• 18:08
I am a customer of theirs. I was before we took them on as
• 18:13
a sponsor and I learned about it from our viewers.
• 18:17
Chris, you know, people kept telling me, check out this
• 18:20
company, Pimbex. You know, I dug in.
• 18:23
I trust them. I trust them now even much more
• 18:27
that I've dealt with them and and executed several
• 18:30
transactions with them. And you're right, you know, You
• 18:33
know, I want to make sure I trust who I'm dealing with.
• 18:35
But to me, I want to get the most silver for my dollars.
• 18:39
And I think what you just demonstrated today with this
• 18:41
example is if you're going to buy, let's say, a whole tube of
• 18:46
Krugerrands, you could save enough money to buy yourself
• 18:51
that are near pretty much another couple ounces of silver.
• 18:54
So why not get the tube of Kruger ants and two more coins
• 18:58
on top of it is like Chris said, if you don't want the 2 coins,
• 19:01
you can send them to us. We'll take them.
• 19:05
Well, and even you know, people don't know some Kruger ants can
• 19:13
rolls of of 25 S if you actually hop it. 2 rolls of 25.
• 19:19
Hit the 20th, you asked. You're going to get them at a
• 19:21
cheaper price and that is cross the board with every online deal
• 19:25
they have a better price. But at the end of the day when
• 19:28
him back here wins, that price .2 sounds good.
• 19:31
What about the 30 day numbers? What's been going on in the
• 19:34
markets over the last 30 days? 30 day numbers Now again these
• 19:39
prices will be different from. When you everybody hears this.
• 19:43
I took these numbers on Thanksgiving night once again at
• 19:46
5:31 PM. So yes, everybody we were we
• 19:50
were all working behind the scenes trying to get this video
• 19:52
out for you. The past 30 days.
• 19:55
Silver was actually up 55 cents or 2.37% though was up.
• 20:02
Not much. Zero 8% actually make a.
• 20:11
That one was at $17.20 or up 1.90% Bitcoin.
• 20:16
As you remember Ron, we were saying 8000 Bitcoin is still up,
