- 1:10Speaker 4: I got him done last night and I literally go
- 1:12Speaker 4: home and I was like kind of showing tailing my teeth,
- 1:14Speaker 4: what do you think?
- 1:15Speaker 2: And I'm you're thinking, like I'm hype, but there's.
- 1:17Speaker 4: Also a level of insecurity, like you're hoping they look
- 1:19Speaker 4: really good and you're hoping that people are.
- 1:21Speaker 5: Matching the same energy as you.
- 1:23Speaker 4: But like I realized because I noticed when you got
- 1:25Speaker 4: your teeth done, like your mouth is just always open,
- 1:27Speaker 4: low key, like always smiling.
- 1:29Speaker 1: Now yeah, I'm kind of like.
- 1:30Speaker 4: Looking at people like this now huh yeah, And you
- 1:33Speaker 4: know so I'm kind of pretty fired up.
- 1:36Speaker 1: Dude. You got that right now.
- 1:38Speaker 2: You got a fresh cut right away? You little thanks, dude.
- 1:41Speaker 5: They look apociate it.
- 1:42Speaker 2: Mom has been.
- 1:43Speaker 4: Sick today, so I brought Willow with me. We went
- 1:46Speaker 4: to the dentist together, got a haircut together, and now
- 1:49Speaker 4: she's on the bus. Everybody, welcome Willow to the show.
- 1:52Speaker 4: Willow Twilling that you get more like daddy. Yeah, oh
- 2:03Speaker 4: you can't hear it. That's because we're doing an intro
- 2:06Speaker 4: to daddy's work. Now, this is daddy's work. This is
- 2:08Speaker 4: what daddy does for work. You get to hear busting
- 2:10Speaker 4: with the boys.
- 2:10Speaker 2: This is your this is exclusive.
- 2:12Speaker 4: The Willow does like to ran like now that she
- 2:15Speaker 4: has the headphones on, like, we don't do iPads very
- 2:17Speaker 4: much at all, but when we do, it's like flights
- 2:20Speaker 4: situations like this and like right time, like you gotta
- 2:23Speaker 4: get something done and you're like, bro, I just need
- 2:25Speaker 4: you to just chill for a second.
- 2:27Speaker 2: Yeah, but she doesn't.
- 2:29Speaker 4: She did like, you know, when you have your headphones on,
- 2:30Speaker 4: you don't know how loud you're talking. Now when she
- 2:32Speaker 4: needs our attention, she's gonna scream.
- 2:35Speaker 2: That's right.
- 2:39Speaker 4: We'll be on the plane like people like six am
- 2:41Speaker 4: flights like going to Park City and people will be sleeping.
- 2:43Speaker 2: She'll be like day, like all right, dude, yeah, you
- 2:47Speaker 2: gotta dial.
- 2:48Speaker 1: She's dials right now.
- 2:49Speaker 2: Boys, what do you got say? We got a surprise?
- 2:53Speaker 2: I know I'm actually fired up.
- 2:54Speaker 1: What isn't a good surprise?
- 2:56Speaker 2: It's a fire surprise?
- 2:57Speaker 6: Am I gonna?
- 2:57Speaker 1: Am? I gonna love it?
- 2:58Speaker 2: Or is this like a surprise like we're coming that tailor?
- 3:00Speaker 1: You're gonna love it? No, you're gonna love it? Hang on?
- 3:02Speaker 1: What did uh? We love a rumor? Okay, so it's rumored.
- 3:06Speaker 1: These are just rumors. It's speculation. But here's the surprise.
- 3:10Speaker 1: Taylor has not heard the surprise. Garrett I the crew
- 3:12Speaker 1: we all know because we just got off a FaceTime
- 3:14Speaker 1: with a barstool and they have some solid news an
- 3:19Speaker 1: interesting partner that might come in the wholesaling game. So
- 3:23Speaker 1: some of our Dad merch costco, some of our hanging
- 3:26Speaker 1: slow it down, some of our yeah, some of our
- 3:29Speaker 1: Dad merch is rumored, and it's just speculation. This is
- 3:33Speaker 1: allegedly let it go into Dick's Sporting in Golf Galaxy.
- 3:40Speaker 1: Let's go, And Garrett, the golf boys said, Golf Galaxy's like,
- 3:44Speaker 1: it's like, what'd you say? It's like an adult film
- 3:45Speaker 1: store for golfers. I love that it's an adult film
- 3:50Speaker 1: store and golf products and golf products.
- 3:53Speaker 2: Wait, they want to take our dad merch and put
- 3:56Speaker 2: it in their stores. Yeah, like our Dad golf collab
- 3:59Speaker 2: that we.
- 3:59Speaker 1: Are twenty twenty three, the greatest year of our lives,
- 4:01Speaker 1: greatest year of our lives. Oh my god. But it's
- 4:03Speaker 1: gonna be like allegedly twenty five stores and then you
- 4:07Speaker 1: can obviously you can get it online.
- 4:08Speaker 2: And we're hoping to do a red ribbon cut at
- 4:11Speaker 2: Dick's here in Nashville. Are you serious?
- 4:13Speaker 1: That's a self that's like self proclaimed. We're just we're
- 4:16Speaker 1: gonna go there and we'll just go there and have.
- 4:18Speaker 4: A big but we need the giants. We need like
- 4:20Speaker 4: ones that are like we actually need both of us
- 4:22Speaker 4: to use it. It's so heavy and baked.
- 4:24Speaker 2: But bro, he called arms too.
- 4:25Speaker 7: If we shot out one thing on the pod, we'll
- 4:27Speaker 7: have one hundred people there for a ribbon cutting ceremony.
- 4:30Speaker 2: Yes, Bro, we'll get try to get in Nashville, like
- 4:32Speaker 2: we're all coming together.
- 4:35Speaker 1: But it's like there's a couple of real allegedly there's
- 4:38Speaker 1: a couple of polo.
- 4:38Speaker 2: There's two polos, which the patterns are awesome.
- 4:42Speaker 1: There's a golf cover, a club cover, and then there's
- 4:44Speaker 1: a what is it a little accusic but like with
- 4:48Speaker 1: like a cool design inside the collar. It's we were
- 4:51Speaker 1: all fired up when the phone call got done.
- 4:54Speaker 6: Boys, this year is really shaping up, shaping up over
- 4:59Speaker 6: day for you to that news on top of the teeth.
- 5:01Speaker 4: I know, I know, dude, I am feeling fucking I
- 5:05Speaker 4: am feeling different, dude, I am feeling absolutely like different.
- 5:09Speaker 1: These are things run the way up right now?
- 5:11Speaker 2: Boys?
- 5:12Speaker 1: And you're gonna look spectacular for draft coverage? Aren't you
- 5:15Speaker 1: gonna be doing draft coverage this weekend?
- 5:17Speaker 4: For those of you who are watching this episode, this
- 5:19Speaker 4: episode comes up tomorrow, which is Thursday Sunday, NFL Network.
- 5:23Speaker 4: I believe the one thirty slot to two thirty and
- 5:26Speaker 4: then three thirty to four thirty. I am doing like
- 5:31Speaker 4: a draft analysis combine analysis at Indianapolis in Lucas Oil Stadium.
- 5:36Speaker 4: It'll be as average as it gets, boys and girls,
- 5:38Speaker 4: but I will try to be as entertaining as I
- 5:40Speaker 4: possibly can be.
- 5:40Speaker 1: A're you gonna do it?
- 5:41Speaker 4: I think Deon Dawkins is going to be there. Deon Dawkins,
- 5:45Speaker 4: uh Rich Eisen or boy.
- 5:46Speaker 2: Richie will be out there. This squad will be out there.
- 5:49Speaker 4: And I think I'm not sure because for whatever reason,
- 5:52Speaker 4: people don't like to tell me shit anymore. Like when
- 5:54Speaker 4: I did the End of the Mega cast, I I
- 5:57Speaker 4: was gonna be a booth, and all of a sudden
- 5:58Speaker 4: I was on the field, and so you boys kind
- 6:00Speaker 4: of a fly by the seat of his pants kind
- 6:02Speaker 4: of dude. Right now, I think I'm gonna be on
- 6:04Speaker 4: the field. I think I'm gonna be on the field
- 6:06Speaker 4: with these dudes. If not, I'll be in the booth
- 6:08Speaker 4: with which and the boys. I had a nice little
- 6:10Speaker 4: suit plan, but it sounds like I'm wearing a hood
- 6:12Speaker 4: a collared shirt now. But I thought to myself, put
- 6:15Speaker 4: the mullet on, dude, get the energy going, and we're
- 6:17Speaker 4: gonna have a hell of a time during what is
- 6:20Speaker 4: usually people's least favorite time, which is when the old
- 6:22Speaker 4: liner and old line are doing the combine.
- 6:24Speaker 1: But we're having a resolute blast.
- 6:26Speaker 2: That's why they're calling the bully in minimal fun.
- 6:30Speaker 4: My goal, I'm gonna sniff out who that next left
- 6:32Speaker 4: tackle for the Santasey Titans are going to be.
- 6:34Speaker 1: I'm gonna find the best one you think Tennessee should
- 6:36Speaker 1: go left tackle in the first round.
- 6:37Speaker 2: Ah, we got so many damn holes. I know, we
- 6:41Speaker 2: got so many issues out there. No, no, this is
- 6:43Speaker 2: not a shot.
- 6:43Speaker 4: This is literally what I'm seeing. What we're all seeing
- 6:46Speaker 4: is we're all a little scared of this next NFL
- 6:48Speaker 4: season right now. But in Ran we trust, and Mike
- 6:51Speaker 4: Rabel we trust. We got to understand that these boys
- 6:54Speaker 4: got to go to work this offseason. Make free agency
- 6:58Speaker 4: look great pay Jefferymens while also paying other players, getting
- 7:02Speaker 4: some studs in there, and then have a hell of
- 7:04Speaker 4: a draft and let's get back to the top of the.
- 7:06Speaker 2: AC South boys. Let's fucking do this.
- 7:10Speaker 3: We will do this.
- 7:12Speaker 2: I can't wait to see yellows.
- 7:13Speaker 4: She was just like, nah, yeah, brother, but yeah, dude,
- 7:19Speaker 4: NFL Network on Sunday, it's gonna be an electric factory.
- 7:23Speaker 4: I can't tell you that I'm gonna give you the
- 7:25Speaker 4: best information you're ever gonna get.
- 7:26Speaker 2: In your life.
- 7:26Speaker 4: But I will try to have as much fun as possible,
- 7:29Speaker 4: and I hope you have fun with me too. It's
- 7:30Speaker 4: gonna be awesome.
- 7:31Speaker 2: I can't wait to tune.
- 7:32Speaker 4: It'll be a great time. For sure, we're gonna have
- 7:33Speaker 4: It's gonna be a blast.
- 7:34Speaker 1: And while you're there, like, let's start now that is
- 7:37Speaker 1: it is a new year. We should start like dialing
- 7:39Speaker 1: in when Rich can come on the bus for real?
- 7:41Speaker 4: Yeah that is that is officially it's officially Rich eisend season. Yeah,
- 7:46Speaker 4: I will really talk to him on Sunday. Here's what
- 7:48Speaker 4: I'm worried about is there was an opportunity for Rich
- 7:51Speaker 4: to come on our podcast and we kind of shut
- 7:54Speaker 4: it down. There was one night where I called rich Or.
- 7:58Speaker 4: I said, hey, I'm I'm eating dinner. I'm gonna call
- 7:59Speaker 4: you in a little bit with Will and I never called.
- 8:02Speaker 4: So now I've got to do a lot of kind
- 8:04Speaker 4: of backpedaling, being like, hey, listen, I know I dropped
- 8:06Speaker 4: the ball in the communications standpoint. We didn't want him
- 8:09Speaker 4: on the podcast in Arizona. We want him on the
- 8:11Speaker 4: actual bus where my beautiful daughter is sitting right now.
- 8:13Speaker 2: But rich was when he takes hit at the next
- 8:15Speaker 2: Thames like that dinner last so a little long. I
- 8:16Speaker 2: was like, man, yeah, I dropped the ball on that,
- 8:18Speaker 2: But that was a true decision, Like it is best
- 8:21Speaker 2: that he's in Nationale and he's on the body on
- 8:23Speaker 2: the bus.
- 8:23Speaker 1: We could have took the easy way out and got
- 8:25Speaker 1: us all together while we were in Arizona. But that's
- 8:26Speaker 1: not That's not what the whole chase, That's not what
- 8:29Speaker 1: the whole What is it? What am I trying to
- 8:31Speaker 1: say here?
- 8:32Speaker 4: That's been the goal from the get go. Yeah, it's
- 8:34Speaker 4: been the goal from the get go. And Jack's been
- 8:36Speaker 4: putting in work. He's at two hundred and eighty plus
- 8:37Speaker 4: days right now.
- 8:38Speaker 1: What I can't wait to dive into for real. Yeah,
- 8:41Speaker 1: and figure out if this is if the continuity has
- 8:44Speaker 1: been there to see if Jack is going to hurt
- 8:45Speaker 1: himself a Chevy Silverado.
- 8:47Speaker 4: Yeah, the only time will tell. But he says he
- 8:50Speaker 4: hasn't missed the day. The fine printer right now, you
- 8:53Speaker 4: cannot miss one day. If you miss one day, we
- 8:56Speaker 4: can be as upset as we want. But that's what
- 9:00Speaker 4: we agreed on it.
- 9:01Speaker 2: Right, missy, You're not gonna be upset. You're gona understanding
- 9:05Speaker 2: you do it to yourself. Yeah, that's great, and that's.
- 9:07Speaker 5: All we need to hear that. That's all we need
- 9:10Speaker 5: to hear.
- 9:11Speaker 2: Guy, you gotta be all watched.
- 9:12Speaker 4: You know, Jack does do this little thing where he
- 9:14Speaker 4: does like it just Alvin Kamara, right, Josh Dobbins on
- 9:17Speaker 4: the podcast, He's all of a sudden the green that
- 9:18Speaker 4: he was on a utilized player. The next week, Derek
- 9:21Speaker 4: Henry's on the podcast. Derek Henry starts looking at me
- 9:24Speaker 4: like I'm fucking crazy.
- 9:25Speaker 5: His eyes get big like he's in a ninety nine.
- 9:26Speaker 2: Yard run, and all of a sudden, someone's jumping on
- 9:29Speaker 2: the back of Derek saying whatever to me, dude, I
- 9:35Speaker 2: know that is true.
- 9:36Speaker 1: That you know, you gotta play to your advantage.
- 9:39Speaker 4: Yeah, dude, you gotta advantage. Not a player here had
- 9:42Speaker 4: to boy jack. Your glass glasses look cool too, they do.
- 9:45Speaker 1: I don't know whose they are, but they matched the
- 9:48Speaker 1: little Nascar Yeah, and your T shirt rips too.
- 9:53Speaker 7: Yeah, shot, maybe a little uh. I'm blanking on the
- 9:57Speaker 7: word foreshadowing.
- 9:58Speaker 2: Foreshadowing, yes, shadow and we're back.
- 10:00Speaker 4: Maybe nickel Back came on the podcast. Maybe it didn't.
- 10:02Speaker 4: Maybe they gave us those shirts. Maybe they're coming here
- 10:04Speaker 4: August first, and we're gonna be at the concert, maybe
- 10:06Speaker 4: doing special things that maybe never know. You never know
- 10:09Speaker 4: what's gonna happen. Twenty three the best year of bus
- 10:12Speaker 4: with the Boys history. It's gonna be amazing.
- 10:14Speaker 2: Boys. I'm I'm psyched. I was cursed again, but I'm psyched.
- 10:17Speaker 1: Bro.
- 10:17Speaker 2: Is there anything going on out in the world?
- 10:19Speaker 1: And I feel like I'm looking at miss because I
- 10:21Speaker 1: feel like he might know that we should talk about
- 10:22Speaker 1: our cover. Should we?
- 10:24Speaker 4: Here's what I think we should do before Michigan says
- 10:26Speaker 4: that should we release where we have decided we are
- 10:30Speaker 4: going for a spring football tour.
- 10:31Speaker 1: That is an incredible idea. Totally, I totally forgot about that.
- 10:35Speaker 2: Yes, dude, all right, you're gonna pull this up. Yeah,
- 10:39Speaker 2: pull the list and we'll hype it up. We'll hype
- 10:41Speaker 2: up each each one. Pull the list up. Now the
- 10:45Speaker 2: Spring tour. Here's what is happening on the Spring tour.
- 10:48Speaker 1: Just like last year, we went to Nebraska, Michigan and
- 10:52Speaker 1: the University of Tennessee. We did four or five interviews,
- 10:55Speaker 1: we got in, we got off with the VLAG, we
- 10:57Speaker 1: got out. This year, we have expanded the team list
- 11:00Speaker 1: to six actually now in five of those locations, we're
- 11:07Speaker 1: doing a couple of interviews on you know, at the college,
- 11:10Speaker 1: we are doing a vlog. We're gonna be in the city,
- 11:12Speaker 1: we're gonna be on campus, trying to eat at a staple,
- 11:14Speaker 1: touring whatever. The big addition that we are adding this
- 11:18Speaker 1: year the Element Live shows Taylor and I. We're getting
- 11:23Speaker 1: a local venue. There will be probably two to three
- 11:25Speaker 1: hundred spots at each spot that we go to, each city,
- 11:28Speaker 1: each campus that we're in, and that'll be we'll be
- 11:30Speaker 1: doing a live show like seven o'clock at night.
- 11:33Speaker 2: Fans.
- 11:34Speaker 1: There'll be tickets, VIP photos, fun, energy, vibes, you guys
- 11:39Speaker 1: know the drill. But with that said, you guys know,
- 11:42Speaker 1: we're doing interviews, we're gonna do vlogs, and now we're
- 11:44Speaker 1: adding the element of the live show. At five campuses,
- 11:46Speaker 1: we'll show you. We will release the details of the
- 11:48Speaker 1: fun little six spot that we're going to.
- 11:49Speaker 4: And yeah, because originally we were just gonna do five places.
- 11:52Speaker 4: Now some crazy stuff happened where we actually added a six.
- 11:55Speaker 4: We'll get to that dark Horse came in out of nowhere.
- 11:59Speaker 2: That we can not refuse.
- 12:00Speaker 6: Chaparo High School, dude, shout out, shout out, bro. But
- 12:05Speaker 6: the first date March fifteenth.
- 12:07Speaker 1: Every one of these dates will be on a Wednesday,
- 12:09Speaker 1: and the live show will happen that Wednesday evening March fifteenth.
- 12:13Speaker 1: The first campus we are going to the University of
- 12:16Speaker 1: South Carolina.
- 12:17Speaker 2: Let's go in, Boys, the Game, Cops, the band talk.
- 12:20Speaker 1: I think will be sitting down with Coach Beemer and
- 12:24Speaker 1: uh insa rattler who.
- 12:26Speaker 4: Was going to go to the NFL Draft decided not
- 12:27Speaker 4: to go to the NFL Draft because he wants to
- 12:29Speaker 4: come back and bring them an SEC championship.
- 12:31Speaker 5: We'll see.
- 12:32Speaker 1: We saw what happened, Jack. I don't think you're in
- 12:34Speaker 1: a place to talk right now.
- 12:35Speaker 7: I was with you that game this year.
- 12:37Speaker 2: I don't think I'm with you so much.
- 12:38Speaker 4: March twenty second, the Boys on the Bus will be
- 12:43Speaker 4: in Austin, Texas at the University of Texas.
- 12:47Speaker 1: That burn orange.
- 12:48Speaker 2: Whoa, whoa, whoa. We're not boomer and boys, we're horns
- 12:51Speaker 2: up right now.
- 12:52Speaker 1: We're horns up right now.
- 12:53Speaker 2: We are buying into the culture. Hey McConaughey, we're looking
- 12:57Speaker 2: at you, brother, We're looking at you. Were I love to.
- 13:00Speaker 1: Have him on the bus.
- 13:02Speaker 4: I absolutely love to have him on the bus. Obviously,
- 13:04Speaker 4: doing a live show and Austo will be incredible. Now
- 13:06Speaker 4: I am not going to this is a little bit
- 13:09Speaker 4: of a speculation. March twenty second is the day that
- 13:11Speaker 4: we will be doing our live show. We kind of
- 13:14Speaker 4: know where the live show is going to be. I
- 13:16Speaker 4: am under the same impression right now that the Joe
- 13:20Speaker 4: Rogan will also be doing a show in the same
- 13:23Speaker 4: place that night.
- 13:25Speaker 1: Is it our.
- 13:25Speaker 4: Opportunity to go on this podcast? Is you want to
- 13:27Speaker 4: have to set this podcast? That answers probably no, But
- 13:29Speaker 4: is it an opportunity for us to push and bit
- 13:32Speaker 4: the boats moving in the right directions?
- 13:33Speaker 2: Because that's when you do it, boys, that's when you
- 13:35Speaker 2: fucking do it. We get after it. We're people who.
- 13:37Speaker 1: Are listening that might be thinking about, Oh, I want
- 13:39Speaker 1: to go to the boys show now and then I'll
- 13:40Speaker 1: hit Rogan after if you just get a little for
- 13:42Speaker 1: the boy, shan't going while Joe like when he comes
- 13:45Speaker 1: on so he knows, like what's.
- 13:46Speaker 4: Going on here the bus, my daughter, my daughter's water
- 13:48Speaker 4: to me because I got a little tickle in the
- 13:49Speaker 4: back of the throat.
- 13:50Speaker 1: Here. March twenty ninth, we will be attending the rival,
- 13:55Speaker 1: oh the greatest rivalry in all of sports. We will
- 13:59Speaker 1: be going to the Ohio State University, State University, the
- 14:05Speaker 1: Ohio State.
- 14:06Speaker 2: We will be in Columbus, Columbus, Ohio Boys.
- 14:08Speaker 4: Yes, going into enemy territory to see what they're really
- 14:12Speaker 4: cooking up over there. They've lost you to Michigan. They
- 14:14Speaker 4: can't seem to win a Big ten championship in the twenties.
- 14:17Speaker 1: We're gonna find out why.
- 14:18Speaker 4: I want to sit down with Ryan Day and find
- 14:20Speaker 4: out why are you one and two against the University
- 14:23Speaker 4: of Michigan. And a last coach to do that Jonathan
- 14:25Speaker 4: Cooper in nineteen eighty nine one one and two. He
- 14:26Speaker 4: also ended up going one ten and one that's just
- 14:28Speaker 4: a little stat for you guys.
- 14:30Speaker 2: Love a good history. He how is he going to
- 14:32Speaker 2: get over that?
- 14:33Speaker 1: Hurle? Do I want him to?
- 14:34Speaker 4: Absolutely not, But I want to find out a little information,
- 14:37Speaker 4: maybe report back to the boys. I'm not saying I
- 14:38Speaker 4: am going to I'm just saying, maybe d down a
- 14:41Speaker 4: couple of things. I am this is probably the one
- 14:43Speaker 4: I'm most fired up for. Oh say which if we
- 14:46Speaker 4: got to pick one player, who do we think it
- 14:48Speaker 4: would be?
- 14:49Speaker 1: One to be?
- 14:49Speaker 2: Marvin Harrison Junior?
- 14:50Speaker 3: CJ.
- 14:51Speaker 2: Left Yeah, Marvin Harrison Junior is the one.
- 14:53Speaker 1: C J.
- 14:53Speaker 4: Strouds he's gone. He's going in the draft. I wonder
- 14:56Speaker 4: how that will cook up with their pro days if
- 14:59Speaker 4: we're in line.
- 15:00Speaker 1: You never know.
- 15:01Speaker 2: You never know, but I would love to. I would
- 15:03Speaker 2: love to meet with Ryan Day.
- 15:05Speaker 1: I think Ohio State came out of nowhere because Brian
- 15:07Speaker 1: Hartline coach heartline so wide receiver coach for Ohio State.
- 15:11Speaker 2: When he was a receiver for the Dolphins.
- 15:14Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 15:14Speaker 2: Yeah, because he was on my fantasy team one year.
- 15:16Speaker 2: A shot out the boy he DMed and was like, Yo,
- 15:19Speaker 2: you guys can come to a house state. We'll hook
- 15:20Speaker 2: it up. We'll make sure, you have a good time.
- 15:22Speaker 4: And I was like, that fires me up, due because
- 15:23Speaker 4: we did talk about that a little bit at the
- 15:24Speaker 4: Super Bowl.

- 15:28Speaker 1: so like check it out now.

- 15:35Speaker 4: and I'm gonna deserve every part of it. If you
- 15:37Speaker 4: guys don't know about my history, your boy down there
- 15:40Speaker 4: Ohio State fan when I was a senior in high
- 15:42Speaker 4: school or college, and so now I thought I was
- 15:44Speaker 4: about to get mines. People were incredibly nice. All the
- 15:47Speaker 4: rumors I was told about that, people would be like,
- 15:49Speaker 4: fuck you, Taylor, love your podcast, dude, Actually keep going.
- 15:52Speaker 2: Sorry, will I shouldn't have cursed, but you got the

- 16:13Speaker 1: We're doing a live show. Friends.
- 16:14Speaker 2: Shout out to friends. When I was there in my junior.

- 16:23Speaker 4: full circle situation here. Would love to sit down with
- 16:25Speaker 4: Brian Kelly and learn where you learned that accent in
- 16:27Speaker 4: such a quick pace.
- 16:28Speaker 2: Go make fun coming from there. Dame to LSU.
- 16:31Speaker 4: If I was going to be an individual going back
- 16:33Speaker 4: to high school, I couldn't go to the University of Michigan.
- 16:35Speaker 2: The school I would want to go to is LSU.
- 16:38Speaker 4: I am so fired up to see Mike the Tiger,
- 16:41Speaker 4: maybe catch a baseball game, because their baseball games fill out. Brother,
- 16:44Speaker 4: It's an open container law there too. Normals is its
- 16:47Speaker 4: own world. It's a third world country where the first

- 17:06Speaker 2: camp at LSU. No way got to read the difference
- 17:08Speaker 2: between a.

- 17:11Speaker 1: for twenty when that yeah, bro on saying out loud
- 17:15Speaker 1: with the you know, not the brag.
- 17:17Speaker 2: Yeah, not the brag ten years old LSU content is
- 17:20Speaker 2: really him and it's about time we start giving him
- 17:22Speaker 2: the respect. You just appreciate that.
- 17:24Speaker 7: Well, before we go off of LSU, I would love
- 17:26Speaker 7: to start a personal campaign if we can get Livy
- 17:29Speaker 7: done on the pod.
- 17:30Speaker 2: I think that we're gonna send into New Heights. I
- 17:32Speaker 2: don't know if y'all know who Livy is to be done.

- 18:27Speaker 2: April twelfth.
- 18:29Speaker 1: April twelfth, we will be going to Boulder, Colorado, the
- 18:34Speaker 1: University of Colorado. We're gonna get this rivalry started that started.
- 18:38Speaker 1: We're gonna reboot this rivalry between Colorado and Nebraska. And
- 18:41Speaker 1: he's some shit talking going to down with Dion Prime
- 18:44Speaker 1: time in the room, kids in the room. This is
- 18:48Speaker 1: I think this is perfect down you announcing the last
- 18:51Speaker 1: one and I think it fits because shout out Chaparral
- 18:54Speaker 1: High School. Yeah, Chaparral, Yeah, Chaperra.
- 18:56Speaker 2: So originally we were gonna do five.
- 18:57Speaker 4: You heard that earlier before we started this very long
- 18:59Speaker 4: winded announcement for where we are going for a spring
- 19:01Speaker 4: football tour. Coach Dillingham, y'all know who that is. He was,
- 19:07Speaker 4: I believe two years older than me at Chaparral High School.
- 19:10Speaker 4: He is now the head coach of the ASU. I
- 19:13Speaker 4: think Sun Devils ASU, Sun Devil Supery got offered from them.
- 19:17Speaker 4: I got an offer from them in high school. I'm
- 19:19Speaker 4: just gonna say. Charlie Ragel, who is my head coach
- 19:21Speaker 4: in high school, is now the social team's coach there.
- 19:24Speaker 4: They hit us up during the super Bowl week they say, hey,
- 19:25Speaker 4: we would love to sit down with you guys, maybe
- 19:27Speaker 4: doing an episode. I thought that'd be a phenomenal idea. However,
- 19:30Speaker 4: they reached out to us as the Super Bowl and
- 19:31Speaker 4: they say, hey, we love to sit down with you guys.
- 19:32Speaker 4: We ended up not working out because we had a
- 19:34Speaker 4: jam pack schedule. Was unbelievable. I was gay for seventy
- 19:36Speaker 4: two hours. It was a wild situation. Now fast forward,
- 19:41Speaker 4: fast forward, the boys call us up and say, hey,
- 19:45Speaker 4: we want not only you guys to be the coaches
- 19:47Speaker 4: of each spring game team. What we want, hold on, baby,
- 19:50Speaker 4: what we want is for you and Will Compton to
- 19:53Speaker 4: be the head coaches of each spring team. And we're
- 19:56Speaker 4: gonna call it the Busting Spring Game.
- 20:00Speaker 2: Incredible. That's an opportunity to play.
- 20:03Speaker 4: He run Power five School has asked the boys to
- 20:07Speaker 4: literally be head coaches for a day. That being said,
- 20:10Speaker 4: that'll be going down that week, so it'll be a
- 20:12Speaker 4: lot of fun things. Obviously, Arizona's an incredible place, a
- 20:15Speaker 4: lot of fun times there to be had. We you're
- 20:17Speaker 4: gonna have such a great time, and that's why we
- 20:19Speaker 4: had to add a six location to our bus and
- 20:22Speaker 4: spring tour.
- 20:22Speaker 2: Not doing the live show that week.
- 20:24Speaker 1: That's the only start we're not. We're not doing a
- 20:26Speaker 1: live show.
- 20:27Speaker 4: A lot of shows are a lot of work, dude,
- 20:28Speaker 4: and they cause a lot of anxiety in the boy.
- 20:30Speaker 4: I'm thinking, man, I hope we just don't let y'all down.
- 20:33Speaker 4: You can come enjoy an episode with us. I think
- 20:35Speaker 4: it's gonna be amazing. It is going to be so
- 20:37Speaker 4: much fun. New places, new friends, new experiences. This is
- 20:41Speaker 4: going to be an incredible spring, incredible bustling week for
- 20:44Speaker 4: a spring tour. It's gonna be amazing. With that being said,
- 20:48Speaker 4: I think we should take a break at things. We
- 20:49Speaker 4: should go to our tear talk next.
- 20:51Speaker 2: We can do best casino games and we will be
- 20:53Speaker 2: in Vegas next. Oh, dude, one more announcement for the
- 20:56Speaker 2: boys out there. Yeah, that's going to basically kick off
- 20:59Speaker 2: the spring that we're about to have.
- 21:01Speaker 4: Yeah, next Thursday, the boys are going to Las Vegas, Nevada,
- 21:04Speaker 4: Nevada for work Boys and Girls.
- 21:07Speaker 1: Dana White.
- 21:07Speaker 2: The episode you're about to watch was incredible.
- 21:10Speaker 1: He truly is.
- 21:11Speaker 4: An awesome dude. I enjoyed every single little bit about him.
- 21:14Speaker 4: I enjoy how his mind works in the business standpoint
- 21:16Speaker 4: of understanding how to acquire the PSL and knowing that
- 21:20Speaker 4: how our little brains work nowadays with all the stuff
- 21:22Speaker 4: we got going on on the screens, how we computerize
- 21:25Speaker 4: and take down information into our own heads.
- 21:27Speaker 2: He bought PSL.
- 21:28Speaker 4: They're having their first live event this next coming Saturday,
- 21:32Speaker 4: so not the Saturday that's up next with the one
- 21:33Speaker 4: after that. We're leaving Thursday. I believe we're doing interviews,
- 21:37Speaker 4: We're doing UFC Media Day, maybe a little dinner, but
- 21:41Speaker 4: with the boy Dana, and then we are going to
- 21:43Speaker 4: be at the first PCL event and PSL. I say PCL,
- 21:48Speaker 4: the first PSL.
- 21:49Speaker 2: Event with Dana.
- 21:50Speaker 1: Ya.
- 21:50Speaker 4: We cannot be more grateful or excited to head over
- 21:53Speaker 4: to Sin City and enjoy that.
- 21:54Speaker 2: That is going to be amazing. So how to get
- 21:58Speaker 2: that out? Hey, we're doing tear talk.
- 22:01Speaker 1: Who's gonna be the presenter? Are you guys gonna go
- 22:03Speaker 1: one at a time? It's obviously gonna.
- 22:05Speaker 4: Be jack.
- 22:08Speaker 1: All right.
- 22:09Speaker 2: Best casino games honorable mention.
- 22:11Speaker 7: Got a throat on the slots every now and again
- 22:13Speaker 7: to you lucky throwing a dollar push up to one hundred,
- 22:16Speaker 7: maybe five hundred, didn't lose it all coming in at
- 22:19Speaker 7: number three. We are doing roulette love a game of chance,
- 22:24Speaker 7: throw down a couple on this on that. I was
- 22:26Speaker 7: actually in Lake Tahoe last weekend. All of my buddies
- 22:29Speaker 7: put down on the double zero green and hit it
- 22:32Speaker 7: no way. He had like thirty dollars on it and
- 22:34Speaker 7: a winning like seven hundred. You can't beat that kind
- 22:36Speaker 7: of energy.
- 22:37Speaker 1: Pretty sure.
- 22:37Speaker 2: It's more than seven hundred, brother.
- 22:39Speaker 7: It was split so it was oh, seventeen to one
- 22:41Speaker 7: to thirty five, so you had both. But yeah, when
- 22:44Speaker 7: someone hits something big on there, everybody's jumping. Hey, can't
- 22:47Speaker 7: beat it?
- 22:48Speaker 2: Uh, Tier two blackjack.
- 22:51Speaker 7: Love it can't beat it, usually getting beat by the dealer.
- 22:55Speaker 7: But it's still fun to be there. You're always next
- 22:57Speaker 7: to some like old dude smoking a cigarette who like,
- 22:59Speaker 7: really is the game? Well, but number one, uncontested is craps.
- 23:04Speaker 7: Like you said earlier, the social aspect, like the team
- 23:07Speaker 7: environment of it, you can't. It's just so much fun
- 23:10Speaker 7: when one person's winning. Almost everyone's winning, unless you're that
- 23:13Speaker 7: asshole paying.
- 23:13Speaker 1: That don't come line.
- 23:15Speaker 2: Yep, don't pass line. Yeah, well it says don't come
- 23:17Speaker 2: on the things, so it says don't pass. There's the
- 23:19Speaker 2: come line in front of that. It's okay, come come on.
- 23:22Speaker 2: The kick trum.
- 23:24Speaker 7: Perhaps number one without a doubt, when everybody's winning, you
- 23:27Speaker 7: know you can't beat that kind of team atmosphere.
- 23:30Speaker 1: So that is our three.
- 23:33Speaker 4: Well for words, yeah, almost if needed right there. Similar
- 23:47Speaker 4: but you know, yes, very similar.
- 23:50Speaker 3: No, I thought he was.
- 23:51Speaker 1: Gonna do, but but you want me to go?
- 23:55Speaker 3: You want to go.
- 23:57Speaker 1: At the end of the day. Jacket Great Jack had
- 24:01Speaker 1: a great list and also explained a lot of the
- 24:04Speaker 1: intricate details of why they're all great. My honorable mention
- 24:10Speaker 1: is gonna be Texas Hold them. Never played it at
- 24:12Speaker 1: the casino, but loved it in high school, way too
- 24:16Speaker 1: intimidated to play at the casino. Loved it in high school.
- 24:19Speaker 1: Got the whole set for Christmas when it was hot
- 24:21Speaker 1: World Series of Poker. You got the whole set with
- 24:23Speaker 1: the chips and everything else. You'd have the boys over
- 24:25Speaker 1: twenty dollars buy ins that all time. Texas hold them,
- 24:29Speaker 1: love it never again. Never played at the casino to
- 24:32Speaker 1: intimidate it. Loved it in high school. Still we played
- 24:34Speaker 1: to this day. It's a good game, Mike. Tier three,
- 24:41Speaker 1: it's gonna be craps. The reason craps is not higher.
- 24:46Speaker 1: You guys are the whole social team aspect. You want
- 24:49Speaker 1: to hear it, You want to hear it. You did?
- 24:50Speaker 1: You got them all right?
- 24:51Speaker 3: All right?
- 24:52Speaker 1: You got my three right, same as around Jack's, same
- 24:55Speaker 1: as probably most people. But you're right, all right. You
- 24:57Speaker 1: want to hear me set you want to bring me
- 24:58Speaker 1: down right? Craps it Tire three, Hang on, Willow, I'm
- 25:04Speaker 1: just kidding.
- 25:04Speaker 2: I'm just kidding.
- 25:05Speaker 1: Tier two, Relette, love lette, relove a give a chance
- 25:11Speaker 1: let It's actually my first love at the casino because
- 25:13Speaker 1: you know, it's something you just go over there. And
- 25:15Speaker 1: I'm an outside player. I don't play the numbers. I
- 25:17Speaker 1: think that stuff stupid. You take way too much time
- 25:20Speaker 1: trying to spread everything around your lucky numbers, your birthdays
- 25:23Speaker 1: or this or that, your dog when he died. But
- 25:27Speaker 1: LETTE love play the outside evens ods Black Red, Big
- 25:30Speaker 1: Black and big Odd. Guy. Just put that out there.
- 25:33Speaker 1: You guys should take that advice. Got touch that is
- 25:39Speaker 1: that I got my Tier one to go. It's the
- 25:42Speaker 1: biggest one, you know what I mean, Like Tier one,
- 25:57Speaker 1: my Tier one. And it happened because of the boy trip.
- 26:04Speaker 1: It happened because of the boys. It happened because of
- 26:07Speaker 1: the boys trip in Vegas that we had not too
- 26:09Speaker 1: long ago, Blackjack, dude, when we had that little room,
- 26:12Speaker 1: the little high rollers area before the high rollers actually
- 26:15Speaker 1: came in on the weekend, when we had that Wednesday Thursday.
- 26:17Speaker 1: You remember what I'm talking about. And we're just vibing.
- 26:20Speaker 1: You get a good dealer, you get a good group
- 26:21Speaker 1: of guys. You're yelling, you're having your own jargon. We're
- 26:24Speaker 1: talking football terminology the whole time. Remembers showed me the
- 26:26Speaker 1: back door to tickle me in the back door. Yeah, blackjack, dude,
- 26:29Speaker 1: that is my tier one, and that that concludes my
- 26:33Speaker 1: tear talk.
- 26:34Speaker 2: Are you ready yep? Yep, of course. Not a lot
- 26:43Speaker 2: of energy behind that, yep. I don't know how to
- 26:45Speaker 2: read that. Sure, simple what you call you? Simple? Jack?
- 26:53Speaker 3: Spot on?
- 26:56Speaker 4: Same nice. I'll have my tar talk right now. I
- 27:01Speaker 4: have no idea my daughter's are taking time off.
- 27:03Speaker 2: At this point.
- 27:04Speaker 5: Listen, my tier three is going to.
- 27:07Speaker 2: Go to roulette. Do I love Roulette?
- 27:09Speaker 1: No?
- 27:09Speaker 4: But I did refer to the roulette table as the
- 27:12Speaker 4: ATM when I was playing. Your boy would get down
- 27:14Speaker 4: the blackjack a little bit. I say, hey, boys, hit
- 27:16Speaker 4: the ATM real quick, go for quick thousand on black
- 27:19Speaker 4: Thank you very much.
- 27:20Speaker 2: I'll see you later. Now, all of a sudden, we're
- 27:22Speaker 2: back on the blackjack table. Oh oops, oops.
- 27:25Speaker 4: My tier two is going to go out to crafts.
- 27:28Speaker 4: I wish it was my tier one because I love
- 27:29Speaker 4: the social aspect of the game. When somebody goes on
- 27:32Speaker 4: a roll, that is tier one. When somebody is ripping
- 27:34Speaker 4: numbers left, right, and center, you know that everyone.
- 27:38Speaker 1: Is just juice and that one handshakes chest bumps.
- 27:42Speaker 4: Yeah, that one in a hole that sits there and
- 27:45Speaker 4: does the do not pass the line or is just
- 27:47Speaker 4: like to put it do not come line like that
- 27:50Speaker 4: guy's guy.
- 27:50Speaker 2: We're all fighting against we're all getting it.
- 27:52Speaker 4: You put it in, you get a set, you had
- 27:54Speaker 4: a six or an a that you can five times
- 27:57Speaker 4: your bet, then you're living on the table.
- 27:58Speaker 1: Hey, let me get a hard eight.
- 27:59Speaker 2: Over here.
- 28:00Speaker 4: People are talking, kIPS are flying, dice are rolling. It
- 28:03Speaker 4: is such an electric time. This is why it did
- 28:06Speaker 4: not make my Tier one, because boys, when it goes bad,
- 28:08Speaker 4: it goes bad fast, and you lose a lot of
- 28:11Speaker 4: money really quickly. My Tier one is gonna go because
- 28:14Speaker 4: of this boys trip we had. There is nothing better
- 28:16Speaker 4: than five if you and your closest friends sitting at
- 28:19Speaker 4: a table and slowly putting together cards to equal twenty
- 28:23Speaker 4: one and just all of you fighting against one individual
- 28:26Speaker 4: with smart ass comments they make every fifteen minutes about
- 28:29Speaker 4: when they win they have in their back pocket because
- 28:31Speaker 4: they've been doing them for so long. And a thing
- 28:33Speaker 4: that I hate the most about blackchack, how do those
- 28:35Speaker 4: dudes count the cards so damn fast? They're flipping the
- 28:38Speaker 4: things over and they get like a three, and you're thinking,
- 28:40Speaker 4: I'm gonna win, so you double whatever you have. I
- 28:42Speaker 4: geld have fourteen. I'm gonna double because I know this
- 28:44Speaker 4: person's gonna bust right now. All of a sudden, it's
- 28:46Speaker 4: three six, seventeen, nineteen twenty one. Are obviously have stuff
- 28:51Speaker 4: at seventy, But you know what I'm saying. They get
- 28:54Speaker 4: to twenty one and it's just like, how are they
- 28:56Speaker 4: counting these cards that fast?
- 28:58Speaker 2: But boys, when you win when a ten hits, not when.
- 29:01Speaker 4: Ace hits on your first start at ten hits and
- 29:03Speaker 4: you say, honey, it could be male or female at
- 29:05Speaker 4: giving you those cards, and you say, honey, give me
- 29:08Speaker 4: that back door loving you start tapping at the table.
- 29:10Speaker 4: The boys starts standing up. Feelings are starting to rise,
- 29:12Speaker 4: energies you up. You can feel your blood pressure, it's truly.
- 29:15Speaker 3: Through the roof.
- 29:16Speaker 4: And you hit that ace piece, there is an electricity
- 29:19Speaker 4: that goes off in your head that is comparable to
- 29:22Speaker 4: nothing else than just I would assume bank robbers stealing
- 29:26Speaker 4: from a bank because guess what we're coming. We have
- 29:28Speaker 4: work to do, but we're taking from you. I always
- 29:31Speaker 4: go to Vegas and I say I'm gonna lose I'm
- 29:33Speaker 4: willing to lose this much. Screw that, boys and girls.
- 29:35Speaker 4: I'm going in there to win, and to win big.
- 29:37Speaker 4: I can't wait for next week. It's going to be
- 29:39Speaker 4: an electric factory. My daughter is doing such a phenomenal job. Now,
- 29:42Speaker 4: thank you so much that as my dear talk decent,
- 29:48Speaker 4: there's the same exact one as your as well decent
- 29:54Speaker 4: for the teeth deef Leiteth.
- 29:58Speaker 2: Descriptive energy, electric.
- 30:06Speaker 3: Camaraderie, camaraderie, great worth, A great one, great worth.
- 30:11Speaker 2: I don't think there's anything else else left to say.
- 30:13Speaker 1: You guys, don't stop going around and trying to massage.
- 30:16Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I'm going around and trying to massage, just
- 30:19Speaker 1: just to throw you a chip.
- 30:21Speaker 2: Yeah, you know what I'm saying.
- 30:22Speaker 4: It is drive more than walking up to a table
- 30:25Speaker 4: watching some dude with a chair back on his stomach.
- 30:28Speaker 4: Is he's laying there just getting destroyed by some pettit
- 30:30Speaker 4: Asian lady.
- 30:31Speaker 1: And one of our boys was doing it, and it's
- 30:33Speaker 1: just like, hey, like sweating at the table, bro, you.
- 30:37Speaker 2: Know their massage.
- 30:38Speaker 1: Your boys are doing it.
- 30:39Speaker 4: But you walk by a hairry, a hairy you know,
- 30:42Speaker 4: bald Russian cat with a jumpsuit on and it's like, buddy,
- 30:46Speaker 4: what are you doing. You're in the riff raft, you're
- 30:48Speaker 4: in the you're in the regular tables hanging out, and
- 30:50Speaker 4: you're getting a massage like that's it's creepy, creep essentral,
- 30:52Speaker 4: creepy central. And they just grunting back there and they
- 30:55Speaker 4: hold that five five dollar chip and they kind of
- 30:56Speaker 4: just don't even look at a misgiving to them.
- 30:58Speaker 2: Just keep it going, bro, And that's what they was doing,
- 31:01Speaker 2: not for.
- 31:01Speaker 4: Me, massage me. I'm I'm working, I'm in business. Don't
- 31:05Speaker 4: give me a drink.
- 31:06Speaker 1: We are business.
- 31:07Speaker 2: We are in business. The low hit, the ATM, the
- 31:10Speaker 2: table boom, double it asap.
- 31:12Speaker 1: But you lose it.
- 31:13Speaker 2: That's what you gotta think about, you know, walking away. Yeah,
- 31:17Speaker 2: you gotta you gotta walk away. You have to walk away.
- 31:20Speaker 1: Dana White incredible episode. He's a he's a stud man.
- 31:25Speaker 1: He's a studd he's a stud great business insight too.
- 31:28Speaker 4: He breaks down how he even got the PSL legal
- 31:31Speaker 4: in Nevada, working through that process, why he decided to
- 31:34Speaker 4: do it. The guy is a stud man. He's a
- 31:37Speaker 4: billionaire for a reason. We are we are very lucky
- 31:39Speaker 4: to have him on our podcast. Hopefully a lot more
- 31:41Speaker 4: times in the future as well. Hopefully we get him
- 31:43Speaker 4: on the actual bus and have some.
- 31:44Speaker 2: Oh I think I think that's that's in the future. Yeah,
- 31:47Speaker 2: we gotta get on with his ten X guy. Yeah,
- 31:49Speaker 2: because he's see that right there, it's gonna get a
- 31:52Speaker 2: whole lot bigger. Yeah, we had to like basically cater
- 31:56Speaker 2: in some Keto stuff because he's on Keto. Yeah. Yeah,
- 31:58Speaker 2: for Tallo's I believe it was what we'll NOO for
- 32:00Speaker 2: shut out for Tillo's.
- 32:01Speaker 1: Subscribe like hit the little bell to turn on your
- 32:05Speaker 1: notifications for YouTube. If you're watching right now, comment do
- 32:08Speaker 1: that whole deal the further Ado Dana White probably after
- 32:11Speaker 1: this ad.
- 32:12Speaker 4: Read whistle pig piggyback busting with the boys, Whiskey boys,
- 32:15Speaker 4: it is incredible. Keep buying it up, keep buying it up.
- 32:19Speaker 4: You keep doing that, we can keep doing more fun
- 32:20Speaker 4: stuff for you. Like we said, this is the number
- 32:23Speaker 4: one unemployed NFL podcast in the entire world.
- 32:26Speaker 1: Yes, we need you.
- 32:27Speaker 4: We gotta have you, dude. We got well like cold
- 32:29Speaker 4: Stone creamer, we gotta have it right now. So please God,
- 32:32Speaker 4: buy that, buy the merch and then dick supporting goods. Dude, Wow. Yeah, Wow,
- 32:38Speaker 4: Golf Galaxy.
- 32:40Speaker 2: Wow. So do it all.
- 32:43Speaker 1: We need it.
- 32:44Speaker 2: Do this for us so we can do more for you.
- 32:45Speaker 2: Big hugs, tiny casses. Enjoy the episode.
- 32:50Speaker 3: How fucking fascinating though at the time when social media
- 32:53Speaker 3: exploded for these kids that were into it, and it
- 32:56Speaker 3: actually became because when Twitter first came out, I was
- 32:58Speaker 3: one of the first people that was on Twitter and
- 33:01Speaker 3: doing I was doing like video blogs back then that
- 33:05Speaker 3: we were uploading on YouTube. And I remember at the
- 33:08Speaker 3: time like you couldn't hire anybody to come. Nobody knew
- 33:10Speaker 3: what the fuck they were doing, right right, I mean,
- 33:12Speaker 3: And then boom, within you know, like five or six years,
- 33:16Speaker 3: there were kids everywhere, you know, turning into stars on
- 33:20Speaker 3: social media.
- 33:22Speaker 4: Twitter and all that stuff. And also it's got to
- 33:24Speaker 4: help the entertainment industry so much like social media and
- 33:26Speaker 4: the UFC. I think UFC uses a social media better
- 33:29Speaker 4: than probably any other, like even better than the NFL,
- 33:32Speaker 4: better than baseball, better than hockey. Like it just seems
- 33:35Speaker 4: like you guys are understanding the formula of how to
- 33:38Speaker 4: get people engaged in what's going on, playing the game,
- 33:41Speaker 4: getting the villain, getting the hero, bringing them together. It
- 33:44Speaker 4: seems like he got a legit Well, obviously you have
- 33:46Speaker 4: a legit thing going on, but it's like killing.
- 33:48Speaker 3: I would love to tell you it's because you know,
- 33:50Speaker 3: I was brilliant and everything else, but I hated the
- 33:53Speaker 3: media is so fucking bad. I hated them so bad
- 33:56Speaker 3: that when you told me, wait a minute, I can
- 33:59Speaker 3: cut the middleman out out and I can go directly
- 34:01Speaker 3: to the fans. Fucking I'm all in on that.
- 34:03Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 34:03Speaker 3: I loved it. So I was infatuated with it immediately
- 34:07Speaker 3: because I hated the media.
- 34:10Speaker 1: I was gonna say, you jump around on all the
- 34:12Speaker 1: like you you're in like the podcast game. You're like
- 34:14Speaker 1: a guest who will go like milk boys, like I've
- 34:17Speaker 1: Rogue and everybody.
- 34:19Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, no, I uh, I love that. I love
- 34:24Speaker 3: uh talking to these guys. All the mainstream media are
- 34:28Speaker 3: exactly the same man. I was just doing, uh, you know,
- 34:32Speaker 3: the radio row over at the NFL, which I've been
- 34:34Speaker 3: doing for a long time, and it's just when you
- 34:36Speaker 3: when you get in with guys like you, guys and
- 34:38Speaker 3: guys that are doing podcasts and and and these kids
- 34:41Speaker 3: that are doing things on social media, it's uh, it's real,
- 34:47Speaker 3: not fucking bullshit. It's not a bunch of fucking uh
- 34:53Speaker 3: these jerk offs who who click bait and and and
- 34:57Speaker 3: do all this. I just I mean, you start to
- 34:59Speaker 3: look like McAfee. Yeah, look at how McAfee has blown up, right,
- 35:04Speaker 3: and he's getting Aaron Rodgers and these big guys because
- 35:08Speaker 3: they'd rather go to him and have a real conversation
- 35:10Speaker 3: with him than these guys in the media.
- 35:13Speaker 4: You know, the unique thing about Pat McAfee in the NFL,
- 35:16Speaker 4: there's like opportunities like you can do like shadowing or
- 35:19Speaker 4: do skill building kind of things with the with networks,
- 35:22Speaker 4: but you have to like kind of put in a
- 35:23Speaker 4: resume see if they want you to do it or not.
- 35:26Speaker 4: Pat was one of those guys that put in the
- 35:27Speaker 4: resume every single year the whole eight years he was playing,
- 35:29Speaker 4: and got turned down every single time. When as after
- 35:32Speaker 4: he retired, tried to go do something more mainstream and
- 35:35Speaker 4: they're like, now we're good on that. Fast forward to
- 35:38Speaker 4: now and you see these bigger the NBC's, the CBS
- 35:42Speaker 4: is the NFL networks, the espns are trying to find
- 35:45Speaker 4: ways to be more like Pat, more casual. The suit
- 35:47Speaker 4: and tie thing is dying. Mainstream media as we knew
- 35:50Speaker 4: it podcast end up podcasts. The mainstream media as it
- 35:54Speaker 4: was five to ten years ago is dying. It's not dying,
- 35:57Speaker 4: it's transitioning to something that needs to feel more more
- 36:00Speaker 4: real for the for the consumer that's taking it in
- 36:02Speaker 4: on a day to day basis.
- 36:03Speaker 3: One hundred percent, And and they're also woke. You know
- 36:06Speaker 3: what I mean that. It's it's like you go in
- 36:09Speaker 3: to do a sports interview and they're interviewing you like
- 36:12Speaker 3: they're fucking sixty minutes.
- 36:13Speaker 2: Well, they already have the story kind of written and
- 36:15Speaker 2: they're trying to ask you.
- 36:16Speaker 1: They're trying to problem questions that's going to fill those
- 36:18Speaker 1: parts of the story, which is like why the division
- 36:22Speaker 1: between like the person getting interviewed, whether it's at a
- 36:24Speaker 1: press conference or something else. I feel like that's like
- 36:27Speaker 1: where that hate stems from, because you kind of already
- 36:29Speaker 1: know when somebody's asking that question. It's like they're gonna
- 36:31Speaker 1: write some story that's gonna have this kind of headline
- 36:33Speaker 1: already on there. Like you guys, there's no doubt.
- 36:36Speaker 2: I just want to get something out.
- 36:36Speaker 4: They want Dan and White to say something that's gonna
- 36:38Speaker 4: make him or somebody look dumb, and then they can
- 36:40Speaker 4: take that out and then get people to watch it
- 36:42Speaker 4: more and more.
- 36:43Speaker 3: Even if you don't give them what they want. They
- 36:45Speaker 3: have some clickbait title that has nothing.
- 36:47Speaker 2: To do with this story.
- 36:49Speaker 1: We do that.
- 36:49Speaker 3: We do that, not even a part of the story.
- 36:51Speaker 4: We'll find Yeah, we're gonna find a clickbait he hey,
- 36:54Speaker 4: yeah something.
- 36:55Speaker 1: But speaking a new content, speaking of content, being in
- 36:57Speaker 1: the content game and doing well with that. Theultimate Fighters
- 37:00Speaker 1: coming back, Michael Chandler, Connor McGregor, yep. Talk about that
- 37:04Speaker 1: a little bit, like getting Connor, getting him in the
- 37:06Speaker 1: house and doing kind of that reality show because that
- 37:09Speaker 1: that show is all time.
- 37:10Speaker 2: That show is all time.
- 37:11Speaker 3: Yeah, it was, uh, you know, it's all about timing
- 37:15Speaker 3: when these things happen. When there's a new season The
- 37:16Speaker 3: Ultimate Fighter, we're always looking for who's busy, who's got
- 37:22Speaker 3: fights going on, whatever, and then we look at who's
- 37:24Speaker 3: available and what fights make sense and who would make
- 37:27Speaker 3: sense to coach, and this one just just landed on
- 37:30Speaker 3: our lap this year. Connor is coming back. Obviously, there's
- 37:33Speaker 3: been a lot of talk about Connor and Chandler. You know,
- 37:36Speaker 3: they're both in the right place at the right time,
- 37:38Speaker 3: and at the end of the day, you know they'll
- 37:40Speaker 3: both be great coaches, and even more importantly, you know
- 37:43Speaker 3: that fight will be absolute and total violence.
- 37:47Speaker 2: Yeah, it will be. It'll it will not go the distance. Yeah,
- 37:50Speaker 2: I agree, I will not go to.
- 37:51Speaker 3: The great And it's a it's a funny thing because
- 37:53Speaker 3: these are two guys that have shown interest in fighting
- 37:56Speaker 3: each other. Yet I think there we'll see when they
- 37:58Speaker 3: get together, but there's a level of respect between these
- 38:01Speaker 3: two two.
- 38:02Speaker 4: Do you Is there a point though, like when you
- 38:04Speaker 4: go do the Ultimate Fighter and you have a polarizing
- 38:06Speaker 4: figure like Connor McGregor, a guy like Michael Chandler who
- 38:09Speaker 4: has put himself as the all American boy, like he's
- 38:12Speaker 4: well spoken, doesn't really curse, like family man, he's got
- 38:15Speaker 4: that vibe to him. Is there a way you guys
- 38:17Speaker 4: sit down and be like, hey, here's kind of the rule.
- 38:20Speaker 4: Let's let's no rules, but let's have a guideline when
- 38:23Speaker 4: it comes to this, like Connor, do your best not
- 38:24Speaker 4: across these X, Y and Z lines.
- 38:25Speaker 2: Well, you kind of just let them figure out them
- 38:27Speaker 2: for themselves.
- 38:27Speaker 3: That's not the vibe with him. That's really who he is.
- 38:30Speaker 3: He's he's he's such a good person. Michael. I like
- 38:33Speaker 3: him a lot, and I have a lot of respect
- 38:35Speaker 3: for him. But we don't ever tell these guys what
- 38:37Speaker 3: to do or what to say, or how to act
- 38:38Speaker 3: or whatever. It's what makes the reason we're in thirty
- 38:42Speaker 3: something seasons of The Ultimate Fighter. When they get in there,
- 38:46Speaker 3: whatever happens happens when we film it. That's just the
- 38:48Speaker 3: way it goes. There's no there's no guidance, there's no
- 38:51Speaker 3: any of that stuff. And it's it's what makes each
- 38:56Speaker 3: season very unique because just when you think you've seen
- 38:59Speaker 3: it all, new happens every season.
- 39:01Speaker 2: It's gonna be incredible. It is gonna be cool when
- 39:03Speaker 2: you look.
- 39:03Speaker 3: At this is the first season that's actually been on ESPN,
- 39:07Speaker 3: the network. Usually they were on Plus since we did
- 39:09Speaker 3: the ESPN deal. Yeah, this year it'll be on the networks.
- 39:11Speaker 2: Big numbies. It'll be big, big number, massive.
- 39:13Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 39:14Speaker 2: Connor coach will make the Yeah. Yeah, the Fight's gonna
- 39:17Speaker 2: be Yeah.
- 39:18Speaker 4: People getting to watch them on a day to day basis,
- 39:20Speaker 4: just chirping at each other over and over again. I mean,
- 39:23Speaker 4: Connor's got a silver tongue, and I'm excited to see
- 39:26Speaker 4: what cheeky things Mike Scott playing.
- 39:28Speaker 2: We are we were talking before. That's our boy.
- 39:30Speaker 4: Mike lives in Nashville. We are rooting for Mike. But
- 39:32Speaker 4: I got into the UFC with Richie Incognito. Do you
- 39:35Speaker 4: ever met Richie?
- 39:37Speaker 2: I don't know exactly who who he is.
- 39:39Speaker 3: He ended with the Dolphins, right he played.
- 39:41Speaker 4: No, he ended with the Raiders the Dolphins. He was
- 39:43Speaker 4: on the Dolphins, Dolphins, Bills Raiders. And I met him
- 39:46Speaker 4: training out of exos here in Arizona and he's like,
- 39:48Speaker 4: let's go to a UFC fight. I was like, I've
- 39:51Speaker 4: never been to the UFC fight and he's like, let's
- 39:53Speaker 4: go to this Connor McGregor fight was first Connor McGregor
- 39:55Speaker 4: maype Is and I went there and he's like, start
- 39:57Speaker 4: watching videos on Connor, and I was like, this, fucking
- 40:00Speaker 4: there's a reason why he's made so much damn money.
- 40:02Speaker 4: And it's guy that had to be like an incredible
- 40:05Speaker 4: like golden goose for you guys for a while. But
- 40:07Speaker 4: is there ever a point when you have like a
- 40:10Speaker 4: guy like Conor McGregor and it is great for the UFC,
- 40:12Speaker 4: but then he gets so baked where he almost calls
- 40:15Speaker 4: the shots, which might hurt negotiations when it comes to
- 40:19Speaker 4: him fighting in the UFC.
- 40:20Speaker 2: He can kind of do whatever he wants.
- 40:21Speaker 3: No, he's a smart dude, and and you know, he's
- 40:25Speaker 3: actually been one of the easiest guys to deal with. Yeah, listen,
- 40:28Speaker 3: Carl McGregor would be perfect. If he showed up everywhere
- 40:31Speaker 3: on time. I mean, if he did that, he'd literally
- 40:33Speaker 3: be the perfect guy.
- 40:34Speaker 2: Give a fuck.
- 40:35Speaker 3: Yeah, it's just you know, it's all part of his thing,
- 40:37Speaker 3: you know what I mean. Yeah, but no, we have
- 40:40Speaker 3: a great relationship and he's been he's been great to
- 40:42Speaker 3: work with and and you know, the reality is it
- 40:47Speaker 3: doesn't have to be a superstar fighter. It can be
- 40:49Speaker 3: one of our employees or whatever. Because it happened during
- 40:51Speaker 3: the sale when we sold to Endeavor. Once you get
- 40:56Speaker 3: to a certain level financially, you know, we had guys
- 40:59Speaker 3: that were for us, that that that had some points
- 41:02Speaker 3: in the company. They retired. They're gone, they don't work anymore.
- 41:05Speaker 3: You know, as soon as the company sold, they were gone.
- 41:07Speaker 3: And it's like, uh, whether you have connor regret. Look
- 41:10Speaker 3: at John Jones. You know, there's a lot of talk,
- 41:12Speaker 3: a lot of ship talk that we don't pay our fighters.
- 41:15Speaker 3: Don Jones hasn't fought in three years. Yeah, you know
- 41:17Speaker 3: what I mean, how many people at John Jones Age
- 41:20Speaker 3: can just take three years off and say, eh, maybe
- 41:23Speaker 3: I'll come back, Maybe I won't know that there's there's
- 41:27Speaker 3: there's a lot. Henry Sahudo, Henry Suhudo won a title.
- 41:30Speaker 3: I think he defended it once or twice and hasn't
- 41:33Speaker 3: fought since. What do you think there's mean, it's just
- 41:35Speaker 3: part of the money. When when the money comes along
- 41:37Speaker 3: and and and when you're in a sport like this
- 41:39Speaker 3: where you got to jump up every day and get
- 41:41Speaker 3: punched in the face, you know, once the money comes in.
- 41:45Speaker 3: Amanda new Ness destroying people, I mean out there knocking
- 41:48Speaker 3: you know, uh, you know she fights here and there,
- 41:52Speaker 3: she's she's you know, they all got plenty of money
- 41:54Speaker 3: and they don't need to do it anymore. So it's
- 41:56Speaker 3: just at the nature of the business.
- 41:58Speaker 2: Big, big gets better, dude, the pig does.
- 42:00Speaker 1: Like It's like the NFL.
- 42:01Speaker 2: You get you get paid financially. A lot of guys
- 42:03Speaker 2: like to get a little bit worse.
- 42:05Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, and guys like the one percent of the NFL.
- 42:09Speaker 4: And then there's the guys that are trying to grind
- 42:11Speaker 4: it out on a day to day Base. Why do
- 42:12Speaker 4: you think the UFC gets so much fly for not
- 42:14Speaker 4: paying their fighters.
- 42:15Speaker 3: Because I don't tell anybody what they get paid. I
- 42:17Speaker 3: don't tell anybody what they get paid, and guess what,
- 42:19Speaker 3: neither do the fighters. There's no gag inger in place,
- 42:22Speaker 3: and these fighters could come out and say what they'll
- 42:25Speaker 3: say exactly what they make. I just had I just
- 42:27Speaker 3: had a situation recently, and I'll tell you who it was.
- 42:31Speaker 3: It was Paula Costay. He's a fucking lunatic. He acts
- 42:35Speaker 3: like a lunatic, and uh, he came out publicly and
- 42:41Speaker 3: kind of said what we what we offered him. Yeah,
- 42:46Speaker 3: it was the furthest fucking thing from the truth. Really
- 42:49Speaker 3: it wasn't true, and that this was a while ago
- 42:50Speaker 3: and this is the first time I've even talked about it.
- 42:52Speaker 3: But it's just an example. See, these guys will say
- 42:56Speaker 3: stuff like that because they know I won't talk about
- 42:57Speaker 3: it publicly. I really don't give a shit. You know,
- 43:00Speaker 3: all these people that come out and say, oh, the
- 43:01Speaker 3: UFC doesn't pay the fighters and they only pay this
- 43:03Speaker 3: percentage of the fucking this, that and everything else. We
- 43:06Speaker 3: got an awful lot of people who sit out and
- 43:08Speaker 3: you know, don't and and and he recently came out
- 43:11Speaker 3: about an offer we made, and it was the furthest
- 43:13Speaker 3: thing from the truth.
- 43:14Speaker 4: When you're sitting there and you're seeing guys like that
- 43:16Speaker 4: say numbers that aren't real, that are obviously way lower
- 43:18Speaker 4: than you actually offer, right, what makes you not bite
- 43:22Speaker 4: your tongue? Because there is got to be a level
- 43:24Speaker 4: of being a human being, like whoa, we do right
- 43:26Speaker 4: by our guys, Well, what's the deal?
- 43:28Speaker 3: Like the But when you look at it, look at
- 43:32Speaker 3: how long I've been in business for twenty three years,
- 43:35Speaker 3: how many guys have left? I just did a new
- 43:38Speaker 3: A fight deal with John Jones, who was sitting out
- 43:42Speaker 3: over money issues. I just did a new A fight.
- 43:44Speaker 3: I just did a new eight fight deal with Sugar
- 43:46Speaker 3: Shan O'Malley. And list goes on and on. How many
- 43:50Speaker 3: guys The guys that leave are the guys that we're
- 43:54Speaker 3: okay with them leaving, yeah, you know what I mean?
- 43:56Speaker 3: And the guys who leave the guys that we're we're
- 43:58Speaker 3: okay with it, you know. Recently the most recent that
- 44:02Speaker 3: that and probably the only guy I mean, I did
- 44:04Speaker 3: deals with Tito or Tiz when we fucking hated each other,
- 44:07Speaker 3: Chuck Ledell, who was the biggest star on the planet.
- 44:09Speaker 3: We always got deals done, brock Lesnar, we got deals done.
- 44:14Speaker 3: You never heard any of these people complaining about their money, right,
- 44:17Speaker 3: everybody wants more money. That's there. You guys want more money.
- 44:20Speaker 3: You guys aren't being paid enough. I guarantee if we said, yeah, yeah,
- 44:25Speaker 3: we want more money, we do in nature. Everybody wants
- 44:28Speaker 3: more money. And I don't feed into the bullshit. I
- 44:31Speaker 3: don't feed into the uh paul stuff. Well then, well, yeah,
- 44:35Speaker 3: Jake Paul, that's that's something that's small. But it's like
- 44:38Speaker 3: it's like the viral. It's like you're you're absolutely right
- 44:43Speaker 3: he he, he keeps playing that whole thing. You know, Uh,
- 44:47Speaker 3: we'll do right, we'll thrill treat you guys. How many
- 44:49Speaker 3: guys have left and went with Jake Paul?
- 44:51Speaker 2: Yeah right, how many guys?
- 44:53Speaker 3: But yeah, let's go with Jake Paul and fucking you
- 44:55Speaker 3: know he's gonna pay us. It's just it's it's all bullshit.
- 44:59Speaker 3: It's all this narrative of that I don't play into.
- 45:02Speaker 3: You know, the guys who fight here know that that
- 45:05Speaker 3: they've been taken care of, and you know, and and
- 45:07Speaker 3: it's one of these systems where the guys who actually
- 45:11Speaker 3: bring all the value are the ones who make all
- 45:14Speaker 3: the money, you know, and the guys who don't when
- 45:19Speaker 3: you when you talk about you know, they always talk
- 45:21Speaker 3: about this this pay disparagy. But between boxing and the
- 45:26Speaker 3: UF three, Yeah, there's there's fucking like a handful of
- 45:29Speaker 3: guys in boxing that makes shitloads of money. The rest
- 45:32Speaker 3: of the guys make nothing. And that's not the case.
- 45:34Speaker 1: Thing.
- 45:35Speaker 3: We've got eight hundred guys under contract. You know, if
- 45:38Speaker 3: you're a lower level guy coming in, you work your
- 45:40Speaker 3: way up. But these these these kids are all making
- 45:42Speaker 3: really good money.
- 45:43Speaker 1: Who are some of the arder fighters to deal with
- 45:47Speaker 1: or some of the fighters that are tough to deal
- 45:48Speaker 1: like when you are doing some of these negotiations, like
- 45:51Speaker 1: John Jones, He's been going out of the game for
- 45:52Speaker 1: three years over money stuff. He was loud about it
- 45:54Speaker 1: for a while. Now you say you just got an
- 45:57Speaker 1: eight fight deal, Like, who are some guys who are tough.
- 45:59Speaker 3: To That's not that John's difficult to deal with, It's
- 46:04Speaker 3: it's more about when these guys hear some of these
- 46:06Speaker 3: boxing numbers. First of all, most of these boxing guys
- 46:09Speaker 3: that you hear that make all this fucking money. They're
- 46:12Speaker 3: all in lawsuits. Mike Tyson's in a lawsuit right now
- 46:15Speaker 3: for for a fight that he didn't get paid for
- 46:17Speaker 3: him here, and Wilder it's probably about to be in
- 46:20Speaker 3: a lawsuit here. Yeah, these guys all get in lawsuits
- 46:22Speaker 3: because they never get paid. All these guys that I
- 46:25Speaker 3: do deals with, they signed contracts. And this is a fact.
- 46:31Speaker 3: Not only do I pay them what they're contracted to make,
- 46:35Speaker 3: I actually pay them more than they're contracted to make
- 46:38Speaker 3: them more than what they were contracted to make.
- 46:40Speaker 4: And what makes you want to pay these guys more
- 46:42Speaker 4: if they have a contract? Yeah, as a business Now,
- 46:45Speaker 4: as an owner of a business, why would you sit
- 46:47Speaker 4: there and go, I'm gonna pay this guy more than
- 46:48Speaker 4: his contract says?
- 46:49Speaker 3: I would call it incentives and bonuses because we could
- 46:52Speaker 3: we do these these these post fight bonuses if your
- 46:55Speaker 3: fight was unfucking believable and you blew us away. You know,
- 46:58Speaker 3: there's usually four guys on the card fifty thousand dollars more,
- 47:01Speaker 3: and the rest of the card we throw them some
- 47:04Speaker 3: more money too, So everybody on the card makes more
- 47:06Speaker 3: money than they were actually contracted to make.
- 47:09Speaker 2: That's a fact, there's no reason for me to think
- 47:12Speaker 2: you're wrong.
- 47:14Speaker 4: I feel like, right now I'm sitting here and be like,
- 47:16Speaker 4: I just agree with everything you say because I have
- 47:18Speaker 4: no idea.
- 47:18Speaker 3: Now, if we were talking to mainstream media guys would
- 47:22Speaker 3: have said one fucking word of what I just said.
- 47:24Speaker 2: To you guys here man for that, and I appreciate that.
- 47:26Speaker 3: I don't play these little fucking pussy games that they
- 47:29Speaker 3: try to play with me, and that's what drives them crazy.
- 47:32Speaker 3: And you know, so they can write all the negative
- 47:34Speaker 3: stories they want and put put the headlines up there.
- 47:37Speaker 3: I don't know if it gets some more traffic or
- 47:38Speaker 3: what it does, but it's all bullshit at the end
- 47:41Speaker 3: of the day.
- 47:41Speaker 2: Yeah, I feel like this whole this whole game at
- 47:42Speaker 2: the end of the day is this.
- 47:43Speaker 3: Is my company. Who the fuck are you to tell
- 47:46Speaker 3: me how to pay my people? And if you don't
- 47:49Speaker 3: like it, there's no buried actuary. Go start your own
- 47:51Speaker 3: MMA organization and pay them whatever you want. Many people
- 47:54Speaker 3: have done it and it hasn't turned out too well
- 47:58Speaker 3: for him. You know, we've run a real business.
- 48:00Speaker 2: You have cornered that market.
- 48:01Speaker 3: We run a real business.
- 48:03Speaker 1: It's it's it's unreal, and I wish I knew something
- 48:06Speaker 1: might happen with like live golf. You never know what
- 48:08Speaker 1: they're doing across the across the pond. And and you
- 48:11Speaker 1: know what I'm saying, how PGA was going and the
- 48:13Speaker 1: way to live right live comes in just starts throwing
- 48:15Speaker 1: these crazy.
- 48:16Speaker 2: Crazy numbers at people.
- 48:17Speaker 1: Get people out.
- 48:18Speaker 2: Yeah, tour, that was the only scenario you could see something.
- 48:22Speaker 3: Yeah, you have the other thing though, You come out
- 48:25Speaker 3: and you can't pay a guy like And I'm not
- 48:27Speaker 3: gonna act like I'm educated on this because I'm not.
- 48:29Speaker 3: I don't know a lot about it. I've heard of it,
- 48:31Speaker 3: but I don't know the ins and outs of it.
- 48:33Speaker 3: But you take a guy, you guys, for instance, I'll
- 48:39Speaker 3: use you guys an example. I come out and I
- 48:42Speaker 3: pay you guys three hundred and fifty million dollars to
- 48:47Speaker 3: do the same podcast.
- 48:48Speaker 1: Right.
- 48:51Speaker 3: Once you get that kind of money, it's fucking hard,
- 48:55Speaker 3: you know, it's hard to to get people incentivized to
- 48:58Speaker 3: get out and actually fucking work and and and to
- 49:01Speaker 3: grind and and to and to help build you know,
- 49:04Speaker 3: you guys are part of barstool Sports and part of
- 49:09Speaker 3: building them into you know, a massive sports brand. What's
- 49:15Speaker 3: the incentive there when you make that kind of money,
- 49:18Speaker 3: There's not a lot of incentive. Now, let's take it
- 49:21Speaker 3: to another level. When you when you are a fighter
- 49:24Speaker 3: who gets paid to get punched in the fucking face
- 49:26Speaker 3: every day. You know, Connor McGregor is a perfect example,
- 49:29Speaker 3: John Jones is a perfect example. Amanda Nunas is a
- 49:32Speaker 3: perfect example. Ronda Rousey is a great example. I could
- 49:36Speaker 3: go on and on for days about the people who've
- 49:38Speaker 3: made massive money in this sport. You get to a
- 49:41Speaker 3: point where you're like, Okay, I achieved what I wanted
- 49:44Speaker 3: to achieve.
- 49:45Speaker 2: It right, you got what you needed, Like theamship on
- 49:47Speaker 2: the shoulder.
- 49:47Speaker 3: Does pretty famous. I became a world champion and have
- 49:52Speaker 3: a shitload of money. What's next?
- 49:55Speaker 1: Yeah? So what do you think makes John Jones and
- 49:58Speaker 1: McGregor come back and want to continue to fight when
- 50:01Speaker 1: you are when you do have.
- 50:02Speaker 3: Well, I think what happens is you get this this
- 50:04Speaker 3: level of success and this level of financial security where
- 50:10Speaker 3: I mean, you guys just said it five minutes ago.
- 50:12Speaker 3: You almost you get to call your own shots.
- 50:14Speaker 1: Now.
- 50:14Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm gonna take three years off when I start
- 50:18Speaker 3: to feel the itch again. I'll come back or I won't.
- 50:22Speaker 3: You know, you have that financial freedom to do it.
- 50:26Speaker 3: Or if I want to jump in and pick up
- 50:28Speaker 3: a quick fucking twenty five thirty million dollars, I'll pop
- 50:32Speaker 3: back in when I feel like it.
- 50:34Speaker 2: When when yeah, you know, if you have the ability
- 50:37Speaker 2: to do that.
- 50:37Speaker 4: Yeah, it is just crazy to look at a guy
- 50:39Speaker 4: like Connor in like twenty eighteen, he's gone like one
- 50:43Speaker 4: and four whatever whatever the number is. It hasn't been
- 50:45Speaker 4: like a great record since. Right he's got proper twelve.
- 50:48Speaker 4: He's got all these other businesses he's killing, and he
- 50:50Speaker 4: can make a he can make a million dollars just
- 50:52Speaker 4: going to some billionaire's birthday party for an hour. And
- 50:56Speaker 4: you think, like, what what makes you want to keep
- 50:58Speaker 4: coming back to such a violent sport, the most violent
- 51:01Speaker 4: sport there is.
- 51:02Speaker 3: And that's a that's a great point too, because when
- 51:04Speaker 3: you think about our sport, our fan base accepts losing
- 51:09Speaker 3: more than other sports to Because I wonder why that is,
- 51:12Speaker 3: because there's so many different ways to win, in so
- 51:13Speaker 3: many different ways to lose in this sport, you know,
- 51:16Speaker 3: and and you're actually are our fighters are are looked
- 51:20Speaker 3: at on more of like an Arturo Gotti type level,
- 51:25Speaker 3: Like ar Turo Gotti was losing these fights but kept
- 51:28Speaker 3: signing these big HBO deals because everybody loved the way
- 51:32Speaker 3: he fought and that he was such a dog and
- 51:33Speaker 3: would go out and give it everything he had. And
- 51:36Speaker 3: that's kind of the the You know, you lose four
- 51:38Speaker 3: or five in a row in the boxing and boxing,
- 51:40Speaker 3: you're fucking done. You ain't making any more big money fights.
- 51:43Speaker 3: But here the fan base, uh forgives losing because.
- 51:48Speaker 2: Similar like Chandler.
- 51:50Speaker 3: Yeah, like Chandler's won.
- 51:51Speaker 2: I mean, how many fights, don't example exactly, he goes
- 51:57Speaker 2: out there like a rott wild, but he's out there
- 52:00Speaker 2: for they got to.
- 52:00Speaker 1: The last fight. It's like he lost, but he also won. Yeah,
- 52:03Speaker 1: a weird way, you know what I.
- 52:04Speaker 3: Mean, absolutely think about this. So every Saturday night I
- 52:09Speaker 3: have to convince you guys to not go out, uh,
- 52:13Speaker 3: not go to dinner with your girl, not go to
- 52:15Speaker 3: a movie, not through this, not through that, stay home
- 52:16Speaker 3: and watch fights. So when you do, you better have
- 52:21Speaker 3: some holy shit moments or you're gonna turn off your
- 52:24Speaker 3: TV and be pissed off. First, forget the money, right,
- 52:27Speaker 3: the fact that you stayed home on a Saturday night
- 52:30Speaker 3: is what will piss you off first and you and
- 52:32Speaker 3: that's what that's where boxing started to go. Every time
- 52:34Speaker 3: you stayed home on Saturday night. You know, they charged
- 52:36Speaker 3: your fucking eighty two one hundred bucks and you saw
- 52:39Speaker 3: these two multi millionaires run around and try not to
- 52:43Speaker 3: fight each other so that they could win and go
- 52:45Speaker 3: on to the next multi million dollar fight. Right when
- 52:48Speaker 3: you tune into a UFC from the first fight of
- 52:51Speaker 3: the night to the main event, these fucking kids go, man,
- 52:54Speaker 3: they go, and you see the shit that you stayed
- 52:57Speaker 3: home on Saturday night and paid fucking eighty bucks.
- 53:00Speaker 4: Yeah, it's like when you who that Autosania guy he
- 53:03Speaker 4: just lost yep, and that it was. It was an
- 53:06Speaker 4: incredible fight, But the fight before that, when he was
- 53:08Speaker 4: defending his belt, it was kind of like five rounds
- 53:10Speaker 4: of like what are we doing here?
- 53:11Speaker 2: He's gonna just bouncing out and you.
- 53:12Speaker 4: Do kind of play yourself like man, people were getting yeah,
- 53:15Speaker 4: people were on that last fight, and but I'm out
- 53:18Speaker 4: of Sonia. I'm also saying like, hey, fuck you guys,
- 53:20Speaker 4: I won. Yeah, like it doesn't matter, and you can
- 53:22Speaker 4: just play into that, right, I feel like you get this.
- 53:24Speaker 4: It's a no lose when it comes to the UFC,
- 53:26Speaker 4: whether it's it's so true inning or it's not entertaining,
- 53:28Speaker 4: it's like if it's not entertaining and we just say
- 53:30Speaker 4: fuck you, then it's like, hey.
- 53:31Speaker 2: People are like, no, fuck you, We're gonna wat you
- 53:33Speaker 2: lose next.
- 53:33Speaker 3: Well, the difference is if you if you saw the
- 53:36Speaker 3: Israel Out of Sonia fight and you were unhappy with it,
- 53:38Speaker 3: there were four more fights on the under card that
- 53:40Speaker 3: you fucking loved. Yeah, that's the difference. And with boxing,
- 53:43Speaker 3: you wouldn't even show up for the under cards. You
- 53:45Speaker 3: don't even pay attention to him. Everybody just shows up
- 53:46Speaker 3: for the main event, and if the main event sucks,
- 53:49Speaker 3: the entire card was judged by the main event.
- 53:52Speaker 2: Yeah that's fair. Yeah, that's a good point.
- 53:54Speaker 4: When you have all these other endeavors and you introduced
- 53:57Speaker 4: the Power Slap League, you look at it and I'm
- 54:00Speaker 4: thinking to myself, what the fuck are these guys doing
- 54:03Speaker 4: to say wild wild? And then it's framed as a
- 54:06Speaker 4: as a martial arts show, right, like what a what
- 54:10Speaker 4: enticed you?
- 54:11Speaker 3: It's not framed as a martial arts show. It's framed
- 54:14Speaker 3: as a fight. And then people say it's an interesting one.
- 54:17Speaker 1: How the hell is this a fight?
- 54:19Speaker 3: Yeah, let me tell you something entertaining as hell. If
- 54:21Speaker 3: you can get viciously fucking knocked out, it's a fight.
- 54:25Speaker 3: It doesn't matter if it's with a slap of punch,
- 54:27Speaker 3: an elbow and knee, or a head kick.
- 54:30Speaker 2: You were just in a fight, and you just introduced
- 54:32Speaker 2: the most disrespectful thing you can do during a fight.
- 54:34Speaker 3: I guarant you guys have known people like this. Maybe
- 54:36Speaker 3: maybe not. I've known plenty of my day. I've known
- 54:39Speaker 3: some guys who are bad dudes, you know, in the
- 54:43Speaker 3: ring and out in the street, and they got to
- 54:45Speaker 3: a point where they didn't hit anybody anymore. They would
- 54:47Speaker 3: slap them because you know they were they were wrecking people,
- 54:51Speaker 3: punch you, so they would just slap guys and knock
- 54:53Speaker 3: them out. So in twenty seventeen, I started watching some
- 54:56Speaker 3: of this slap stuff that was coming up on the internet.
- 54:58Speaker 2: Russian Bear or something like that.
- 55:00Speaker 3: The guy what's his name, Yeah, he was.
- 55:03Speaker 4: You watched that because you have your buddies. You'd be
- 55:04Speaker 4: sitting this on and you'd be like, hey, watch this
- 55:06Speaker 4: fucking Russian cat. And he was like the Russian Bear
- 55:08Speaker 4: and it's just like this Harry asked, got a fur
- 55:11Speaker 4: coat on with the shirt off, and he's just disintegrating dudes, Yes,
- 55:14Speaker 4: disintegrating cats exactly. Twenty seventeen. You start seeing these videos
- 55:18Speaker 4: on YouTube exactly, and your mind goes to.
- 55:20Speaker 3: What fascinated by?
- 55:21Speaker 1: Yes? Right?
- 55:21Speaker 3: So I started taking a deeper dive and looking into it,
- 55:25Speaker 3: and uh, I'm looking at the numbers that it's pulling
- 55:27Speaker 3: on on YouTube, and I'm like, three hundred and fifty
- 55:31Speaker 3: million views. That's fucking crazy. That's the eye fucking justin
- 55:35Speaker 3: Bieber music video, you know what I mean. I'm like,
- 55:37Speaker 3: this is nuts. So I, uh, the guy that was
- 55:41Speaker 3: putting on those events from Russia, I met him in
- 55:44Speaker 3: La one one day. I flew out to La to
- 55:47Speaker 3: meet him. Started talking to him and like, Hi, hamascinating.
- 55:52Speaker 3: So I said, I think I'm gonna fucking do this.
- 55:55Speaker 3: So I start getting into it, and COVID hits. So
- 55:58Speaker 3: I got a deal with the UFC, and you know,
- 56:00Speaker 3: getting getting that going during COVID, and then we get
- 56:04Speaker 3: through COVID and I start getting into it again. And
- 56:08Speaker 3: let me just put it to you this way. I
- 56:11Speaker 3: start this thing. First of all, we get it sanctioned
- 56:14Speaker 3: by the vastinate Athleticmmission to turn it into a sport.
- 56:16Speaker 3: I'm looking for some of the guys who are considered
- 56:19Speaker 3: the best out there so that we can start building
- 56:22Speaker 3: rankings and and and do the first title fights. So
- 56:25Speaker 3: we did well to weight middleweight, light heavyweight, and heavyweight
- 56:29Speaker 3: for easy. You know, everybody can follow it. Everybody understands
- 56:33Speaker 3: those weight classes. And we uh, we put an event
- 56:39Speaker 3: together last March just to kind of see it. So
- 56:42Speaker 3: it's my first time ever seeing it live in person.
- 56:45Speaker 2: Oh you you put an event together and you haven't
- 56:47Speaker 2: even seen it live yet?
- 56:48Speaker 3: Exactly. Okay, yes, we put put on an event.
- 56:51Speaker 4: There's a whole lot you're saying right now we need
- 56:52Speaker 4: to unpack, but I want to leave you this is
- 56:54Speaker 4: this is incredible.
- 56:55Speaker 3: I'm fucking with the production. I want to see how
- 56:57Speaker 3: to you know, how should the lighting be? How should this?
- 57:00Speaker 3: But you know, we're starting to build what is going
- 57:02Speaker 3: to eventually become the sport. And we put on the
- 57:05Speaker 3: first event. Holy fucking shit, man, as these guys start
- 57:10Speaker 3: slapping each other, the sound fucking knockouts to everything about
- 57:14Speaker 3: it is just what I expected.
- 57:17Speaker 4: But even more, you know what I mean wild thought
- 57:21Speaker 4: process for entertainment.
- 57:22Speaker 1: Bro Dudes are just like laying on the ground and
- 57:24Speaker 1: then and then they pick.
- 57:25Speaker 2: Him up though you're good.
- 57:28Speaker 4: Yeah, let's get him back up there. Hold this fucking
- 57:33Speaker 4: it is so incredibly entertaining. Yeah, okay, So there's a
- 57:38Speaker 4: couple of things you did. You First off, we need
- 57:40Speaker 4: to go to COVID in a second, because I thought
- 57:42Speaker 4: you handled when sports were dead.
- 57:44Speaker 2: You kept sports alive. We'll go to that in a second.
- 57:47Speaker 4: You go, you meet this guy in Russias are in
- 57:50Speaker 4: La he's from Russia. You sit there and you have
- 57:53Speaker 4: this conversation. I love the fact that you're putting people
- 57:55Speaker 4: together to slap each other, right, simple terms.
- 57:57Speaker 3: Yeah, well I asked him how it got started?
- 57:58Speaker 1: What did you do?
- 57:59Speaker 3: Or do you find these and all this stuff? Just
- 58:01Speaker 3: kind of doing some homework on it.
- 58:03Speaker 2: Yeah, jumped on the I mean you jumped on a
- 58:05Speaker 2: little goal.
- 58:05Speaker 1: Mind for sure, it's like you get three hundred and
- 58:07Speaker 1: fifty million, But it's so easily and short and consume,
- 58:10Speaker 1: Like you can just watch a slap and it's just
- 58:13Speaker 1: the brain the way our everybody's brain is now going.
- 58:16Speaker 3: To be the younger generation.
- 58:18Speaker 1: Yeah, like, yeah, well, I even need to see a fight.
- 58:20Speaker 1: It's like, hey, I'm jumping on this because you see
- 58:22Speaker 1: kind of the big picture.
- 58:23Speaker 3: Of everything that's being said negatively. First of all, let's
- 58:26Speaker 3: start with this. Everything that's negative that's being said about
- 58:28Speaker 3: it is an attack on me. It's it's me that
- 58:31Speaker 3: these guys are attacking. It's not the actual slapping the media.
- 58:35Speaker 3: It's all about me. Okay. They want to they want
- 58:39Speaker 3: to fuck me. That's why they're saying what they're saying
- 58:42Speaker 3: about slap. Because this ship was going on. This ship's
- 58:45Speaker 3: been on the internet since seventeen is when I first
- 58:47Speaker 3: saw it.
- 58:48Speaker 2: Yeah, but it's also in Russia.
- 58:49Speaker 3: There's three hundred and fifty million views. But I'm the
- 58:51Speaker 3: only fucking guy that's seen it, you know what I mean.
- 58:53Speaker 3: And there's no stories written, there's no oh my god,
- 58:56Speaker 3: this is horrible. How's this on social media? Children are
- 58:59Speaker 3: watching this? Yeah? Yeah, yeah, right. This has been going
- 59:01Speaker 3: on since fucking well. I noticed it the seventeen It
- 59:03Speaker 3: could have been before that for all I know. But
- 59:06Speaker 3: now it's a fucking you know, it's it's it's a
- 59:09Speaker 3: it's horrible and it's a tragedy and it needs to
- 59:12Speaker 3: go away. Yeaheah, Okay, get the fuck out of here.
- 59:16Speaker 3: So let's start there, right, so uh we we go.
- 59:19Speaker 3: Let let me tell you this one real quick. So
- 59:22Speaker 3: I started a power slap TikTok two and a half
- 59:27Speaker 3: weeks ago. As of two days ago, it has uh hey, Lena,
- 59:31Speaker 3: see how many followers it has now, But it.
- 59:33Speaker 2: Had there's an amatas one point.
- 59:35Speaker 3: Seven million followers. It was one point eight. Never mind,
- 59:39Speaker 3: it's one point eight yesterday. It was one point days ago.
- 59:42Speaker 2: It was one point that's going to be over to mill.
- 59:44Speaker 3: When we first opened it, it was growing ten thousand
- 59:46Speaker 3: followers an hour.
- 59:47Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 59:48Speaker 3: Then it went to one hundred thousand every two days.
- 59:51Speaker 3: Now we're at one hundred thousand every two days. It
- 59:53Speaker 3: grows okay, six hundred and eighty eight million views in
- 59:58Speaker 3: two and a half weeks. Yeah, Instagram, we have almost
- 1:00:02Speaker 3: four hundred thousand followers, one hundred and sixty six million
- 1:00:06Speaker 3: in two and a half weeks. And I could keep
- 1:00:09Speaker 3: going on and on with the international and all this
- 1:00:11Speaker 3: other shit. So you fucking nailed it right on the head.
- 1:00:15Speaker 3: The younger generation. It's fast, it's easy to consume, it's
- 1:00:19Speaker 3: like holy shit, you know, and they're eating it.
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: And you can watch the same slap multiple times because
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: you're like, you want to see the slap, you want
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: to see the gal emotion. Look at this referee, they're
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: helping them back up.
- 1:00:30Speaker 4: Oh my gosh, your reactions people, Yes, it's it is fuck.
- 1:00:34Speaker 4: You're guys gonna watch one slap one time. That's a
- 1:00:35Speaker 4: five slapper. It's getting about. It's eating a chip from
- 1:00:38Speaker 4: a back. You're not gonna have one, You're gonna have
- 1:00:40Speaker 4: four or five, ye boys right.
- 1:00:42Speaker 3: There, So even more fascinating. So you look at this
- 1:00:44Speaker 3: thing and you look at it on a you know,
- 1:00:47Speaker 3: and all the media is like, oh, this thing's a flop.
- 1:00:49Speaker 3: It's fucking this that they have fucking no idea what
- 1:00:52Speaker 3: they're talking about. Number One, I laugh when I read
- 1:00:56Speaker 3: their stories. And here's the truth. If the media says
- 1:00:59Speaker 3: something's bad and it's good and it should go away,
- 1:01:01Speaker 3: you got a fucking home run. You know you hit.
- 1:01:03Speaker 3: You know it's going to be successful, right, because these
- 1:01:05Speaker 3: guys know jack shit about anything.
- 1:01:08Speaker 7: Right.
- 1:01:09Speaker 3: And then you look at the television, right, linear television
- 1:01:13Speaker 3: is dying on the vine. Right. TBS has been awesome
- 1:01:16Speaker 3: with us, It's been great for us. So we're the
- 1:01:19Speaker 3: only thing coming out of AAW wrestling. Aw Wrestling pulls
- 1:01:23Speaker 3: a great number, and everything they tried just dumps right
- 1:01:26Speaker 3: off into the abyss. They tried Family Guy, American Dad, Bob's, Burger's,
- 1:01:31Speaker 3: Young Sheldon, all these different shows that haven't worked. We
- 1:01:34Speaker 3: go in there and you know, much older Demo and
- 1:01:36Speaker 3: everything else. We held fifty percent of AAW's audience, no shit,
- 1:01:40Speaker 3: and every Wednesday night we're number two on all of
- 1:01:44Speaker 3: cable with men behind the NBA. The fucking thing is
- 1:01:47Speaker 3: three weeks, three weeks old, three weeks sold, twenty one days,
- 1:01:50Speaker 3: so exactly. So even on BRO, you're thinking there at.
- 1:01:55Speaker 2: Seventeen like, no one's doing this, and then by make
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: a move on this.
- 1:01:58Speaker 3: Yeah, it's it's it's yeah, it's phenomenal. So over the
- 1:02:02Speaker 3: way till you see what I do in the in
- 1:02:04Speaker 3: the next five weeks with with with Power Slap and
- 1:02:06Speaker 3: where this goes. So after the first uh season here
- 1:02:09Speaker 3: that we've done. The other thing that's really good for
- 1:02:12Speaker 3: us that you know, when you do a reality show
- 1:02:14Speaker 3: like the one that we have, we know every episode
- 1:02:16Speaker 3: gets better. And I haven't seen episode seven yet, but
- 1:02:19Speaker 3: Craig Pligian, my partner, the producer. He does tons of television.
- 1:02:23Speaker 3: He says Episode seven is the best TV show he's
- 1:02:26Speaker 3: seen in two years.
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: Really.
- 1:02:27Speaker 3: Yeah, so you know, we know what we have in
- 1:02:30Speaker 3: the can already, so it's good to know that. But
- 1:02:33Speaker 3: watch what happens with this thing over the over the
- 1:02:35Speaker 3: next five weeks.
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:02:36Speaker 4: So you're okay, you're across the pond, you're this guy
- 1:02:39Speaker 4: from Russia. You bring it to Nevada, you get it
- 1:02:41Speaker 4: all bundled up where you're allowed to sell it, allowed
- 1:02:43Speaker 4: to do it in the state of Nevada. Then the
- 1:02:45Speaker 4: next thing you say is we now we go and
- 1:02:46Speaker 4: find talent.
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: What are you talking?
- 1:02:49Speaker 4: Are you going likes? And like, hey, you guys, slap
- 1:02:54Speaker 4: how much do you weigh?
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: All right?
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: Lightweight?
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: You are? Have you weight?
- 1:02:56Speaker 3: Almost like, how are you finding these cats? Let me
- 1:02:58Speaker 3: tell you how good you guys are. You guys are
- 1:03:00Speaker 3: so fucking good. It's almost like the show is like scripted.
- 1:03:02Speaker 3: This is fucking crazy.
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: Oh, we have your pieces. You don't see.
- 1:03:04Speaker 3: My next thing I was going to say to you
- 1:03:06Speaker 3: is we go into this thing, we start looking for
- 1:03:09Speaker 3: the talent, we find the guys that you know, Like
- 1:03:12Speaker 3: I said, I didn't just start this. This has been
- 1:03:15Speaker 3: around since sixteen seventeen or earlier for all I know.
- 1:03:18Speaker 3: But I started to notice it in seventeen. And so
- 1:03:21Speaker 3: there's guys out there. So we go out and there's
- 1:03:23Speaker 3: there's this guy who had a league out in the
- 1:03:27Speaker 3: Midwest and you know, had a good grip. We hired him.
- 1:03:30Speaker 3: He came in as a consultant and he walked us through,
- 1:03:32Speaker 3: who's some of the best guys you know in the country.
- 1:03:35Speaker 3: Are we put it together? We were coming up on
- 1:03:39Speaker 3: episode four on TBS tomorrow night, on TBS's episode four,
- 1:03:44Speaker 3: and we've already got like nine hundred and thirty people
- 1:03:47Speaker 3: that have mailed in and said, yeah, I'm a professional
- 1:03:49Speaker 3: slapper and I want to be in the next season.
- 1:03:51Speaker 3: So now we're gonna do is We're gonna put together
- 1:03:53Speaker 3: at the Performance Institute, the UFC Performance Institute. I'm gonna
- 1:03:57Speaker 3: put together a combine where these guys come in. Yeah,
- 1:04:01Speaker 3: these guys come in.
- 1:04:04Speaker 4: Like what are the The only thing you need is
- 1:04:06Speaker 4: that little little punching bag that comes down, you punch,
- 1:04:09Speaker 4: and you see how much power.
- 1:04:12Speaker 3: There's. Actually you'll see it if you watch this season
- 1:04:14Speaker 3: the show The Coaches training the fighters and and you know,
- 1:04:17Speaker 3: they have a power cube where they can test their force,
- 1:04:21Speaker 3: you know, how much force per square inch they're slapping
- 1:04:24Speaker 3: with and next strength and all these different things that.
- 1:04:27Speaker 2: Go into I didn't think about the.
- 1:04:29Speaker 3: Being a good slap. You gotta have you gotta have
- 1:04:31Speaker 3: the next strength, you gotta have it. Yeah, and you
- 1:04:35Speaker 3: gotta win the coin toss, the coin toss, the.
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: You're gonna win the film overtime football with that?
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: Like whoever gets that way? So what's the combine? Like
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: what does the combine help you do other than like
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: put guys in the system? Like does it it? Does
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: it ever?
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: Go to a little team format.
- 1:04:49Speaker 3: The other thing that we're gonna have is we're gonna
- 1:04:50Speaker 3: bring in these guys that are going to be coaches
- 1:04:52Speaker 3: and as guys come through the performance Institute, they're gonna
- 1:04:56Speaker 3: train these guys on because there are rules on flinching,
- 1:04:59Speaker 3: you know, clubbing where you're hitting with this part of
- 1:05:02Speaker 3: the hand instead of the slap. You can't move your feet.
- 1:05:06Speaker 3: Your feet have to stay stay with So there's a
- 1:05:08Speaker 3: lot of different rules that that guys have to you know, try.
- 1:05:12Speaker 3: And the other big thing is we have to help
- 1:05:14Speaker 3: get the commission trained. Like when you become a referee
- 1:05:18Speaker 3: for boxing, there's a lot of you know, you go
- 1:05:21Speaker 3: to these gyms, these local gyms and guys are sparring.
- 1:05:23Speaker 3: You actually get in there and move around with the
- 1:05:24Speaker 3: guys while they're sparring, and if you see them tying up,
- 1:05:27Speaker 3: you break them apart. You get in there and work,
- 1:05:29Speaker 3: And a lot of the m m A referees do
- 1:05:31Speaker 3: the same thing. So the refs need reps, you know,
- 1:05:34Speaker 3: to be able to do this. So I'm actually gonna
- 1:05:37Speaker 3: put on a we got to Our first live fight
- 1:05:40Speaker 3: is going to be in March. I'm actually going to
- 1:05:43Speaker 3: do a fight the Wednesday before the fight, I'm gonna
- 1:05:46Speaker 3: do another fight to get the refs some reps and
- 1:05:50Speaker 3: get them working.
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: But you know, you're about to have like a world
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: ranking system with all these people who want to do this,
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: Like it could be the most massive.
- 1:05:58Speaker 3: That's what's gonna happen.
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: The barrier of the entries glow like do you have
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: a big hand, do you have a chin? Do you
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: feel like you're tough? Like, well, you're tough. Heyp square,
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: You can't plinch hold o that pole. You can pray
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: to God, you just don't.
- 1:06:10Speaker 2: Get Yeah, pretty got its tails when you hold tails.
- 1:06:13Speaker 3: Yeah, well, you know what's gonna happen. What's going to
- 1:06:15Speaker 3: happen is the same thing that happened with MMA is
- 1:06:18Speaker 3: once there's fucking real money involved in this, you know,
- 1:06:21Speaker 3: and let me address that too. There were you know,
- 1:06:23Speaker 3: my buddies in the media saying, oh my god, these
- 1:06:26Speaker 3: guys are only getting paid fucking this And we invested
- 1:06:29Speaker 3: fucking ten million dollars being the Ftida Brothers into this
- 1:06:32Speaker 3: thing to fucking launch this thing. We invested ten million
- 1:06:35Speaker 3: of our own money to do this thing. Much like
- 1:06:38Speaker 3: you know the UFC when we started the UFC. This
- 1:06:41Speaker 3: is a startup like any other fucking startup business. And
- 1:06:44Speaker 3: these guys that are in it then in this first
- 1:06:46Speaker 3: season are the pioneers, much like the guys who played
- 1:06:49Speaker 3: baseball in the early days in the NFL and the UFC.
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: You know.
- 1:06:54Speaker 3: So what you know, once we get this thing where
- 1:06:56Speaker 3: there's going to be real money involved, you'll be surprised
- 1:06:59Speaker 3: who you see. I'll bet you start seeing NFL players
- 1:07:01Speaker 3: like the guys that want to box and get into.
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: You know, we talk about and make the cutter.
- 1:07:05Speaker 3: So talk about guys who was funny. Who's the buddy
- 1:07:07Speaker 3: board and the velocity to slap and the next strength
- 1:07:11Speaker 3: and the chance you think of a lot of NFL
- 1:07:13Speaker 3: players that that could be a part of this. You're
- 1:07:15Speaker 3: probably gonnad up getting celebrities who want to be a
- 1:07:17Speaker 3: part of this, and who knows.
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: But your celebrities that want to slap the shit out
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: of each other. Piste off and we'll settle it.
- 1:07:23Speaker 3: Well in the beginning, we'll probably get my yeah, Danny
- 1:07:26Speaker 3: Bonaducci's and ship like that.
- 1:07:27Speaker 4: But yeah, yeah, these guys don't even know yeah twice,
- 1:07:32Speaker 4: but I have no idea you're talking about it.
- 1:07:33Speaker 2: I was like, yeah, for sure, what's the next question
- 1:07:35Speaker 2: I got to ask here?
- 1:07:36Speaker 3: That's a letric dude. I just you know how fucking
- 1:07:39Speaker 3: old I am now that these guys don't know who
- 1:07:41Speaker 3: Danny Bonaducci is.
- 1:07:42Speaker 2: Who is Danny Bucci?
- 1:07:44Speaker 3: He was a celebrity back in the day when I,
- 1:07:46Speaker 3: you know, who is my dad would be so pissed off. Yeah,
- 1:07:52Speaker 3: so he was on the show and Get Me Boys,
- 1:07:55Speaker 3: Partridge Family and uh, and then he ended up you know,
- 1:08:00Speaker 3: he became a fucking lunatic. He started doing all this
- 1:08:02Speaker 3: boxing like celebrity boxing and he has a radio show
- 1:08:06Speaker 3: he had at the time, I think in Philly or something,
- 1:08:07Speaker 3: but yeah, he was he was a wild man from
- 1:08:10Speaker 3: the eighties.
- 1:08:10Speaker 2: Dude.
- 1:08:11Speaker 4: Yeah, okay, I've been, I've I've learned now absolutely, here's
- 1:08:14Speaker 4: a business am right there?
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: Question? Yeah, I want to ask a business question. Since
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: now that you're investing ten million dollars and going into
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: the power SLAF, what are some things that you have
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: learned over the course of the years because you did
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: the you did the startup with the UFC acquired that
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: What are some of the things you can fast track
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: now knowing I won't make that same mistake again as
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: far as growing the sport. Uh, now that you have
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: power slow Hey.
- 1:08:36Speaker 2: That's a great question, dude.
- 1:08:37Speaker 3: Well, the difference is is that now because of the
- 1:08:40Speaker 3: UFC and what I've done with the UFC, it's much
- 1:08:43Speaker 3: easier to go to get television deals or or distribution deals, sponsors.
- 1:08:49Speaker 3: The list goes on and on. I mean we we
- 1:08:51Speaker 3: didn't have real sponsors in the UFC to like two
- 1:08:53Speaker 3: thousand and six five six. Yeah, you know, you look
- 1:08:56Speaker 3: at the first season The Ultimate Fighter, Fucking Matt is
- 1:09:00Speaker 3: blue blue. There's nothing on it. Yeah, you know, we
- 1:09:03Speaker 3: had no sponsor. Nobody wanted to sponsor the first season
- 1:09:06Speaker 3: the Ultimate Fighter. We have sponsors on this first season
- 1:09:10Speaker 3: of Power Slaps. So you know, because of the success
- 1:09:14Speaker 3: that I've had with the UFC, it's it's it's a
- 1:09:16Speaker 3: lot easier to get things like that done than it
- 1:09:18Speaker 3: was back in two thousand and one.
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: Right, So I would assume your mind, like trying to
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: figure out how you're going to build the UFC, your
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: mind as was probably a lot more cluttered on which
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: action steps to take right. No rights, Now, obviously you
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: have the value that can like, oh, we know, we
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: know how we're going to point to this thing. But
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: I'm sure your clarity now on like this is the
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: direct approach we're going to be taking in you know, X,
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: Y and Z, these areas as like a business guy, entrepreneur,
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: all of that stuff that you've built.
- 1:09:42Speaker 3: Over the years, one hundred percent. I mean, yeah, it's
- 1:09:44Speaker 3: it's it's you know, I saw something that there was
- 1:09:48Speaker 3: a negative story written about me a couple of weeks
- 1:09:50Speaker 3: ago where they talked to an old employee and that
- 1:09:53Speaker 3: the old employee, and I know who it was too,
- 1:09:56Speaker 3: was saying, yeah, Ari is convinced that Dana has the
- 1:09:58Speaker 3: secret formula to run the UFC. Yeah, motherfucker, I absolutely
- 1:10:03Speaker 3: positively out of the secret formula to run the UFC.
- 1:10:05Speaker 3: I look at all the other promoters, and I look
- 1:10:08Speaker 3: at every single thing that they do wrong, and I go,
- 1:10:11Speaker 3: why would they still do that? They if you watch
- 1:10:13Speaker 3: what we did, why were we just still Why are
- 1:10:14Speaker 3: they doing that? Why are they doing this? And you're
- 1:10:18Speaker 3: gonna do the same thing with slap Yeah, same thing.
- 1:10:21Speaker 3: You have to run it like a business.
- 1:10:23Speaker 2: You have to run this thing like, hey, we probably
- 1:10:24Speaker 2: got like two more questions. You've got a boogiy sing.
- 1:10:27Speaker 2: I know I saw him. I saw him. Yeah, they're giving,
- 1:10:29Speaker 2: they're giving okay, yeah, yeah, I know you had one.
- 1:10:33Speaker 2: You know he does well.
- 1:10:34Speaker 4: He's playing probably at you know, I still Goldstream piece
- 1:10:38Speaker 4: out back to Vegas. I want to bring it back
- 1:10:41Speaker 4: to Chandler McGregor real quick. Ye help two questions? When
- 1:10:46Speaker 4: when is at three again? Because I have one more?
- 1:10:47Speaker 4: You have one more?
- 1:10:49Speaker 2: When is that if I going to happen?
- 1:10:51Speaker 3: When when?
- 1:10:52Speaker 2: And then two how do you see it going?
- 1:10:55Speaker 3: So we literally don't have any of that in place
- 1:10:58Speaker 3: yet to get out here and films doing you know,
- 1:11:02Speaker 3: doing the show and then we'll figure out, uh when
- 1:11:05Speaker 3: and where and all that stuff. Because this is one
- 1:11:06Speaker 3: of those I was talking about this today. This is
- 1:11:09Speaker 3: one of those fights. This could This could be Madison
- 1:11:11Speaker 3: Square Garden, this could be Dallas, Texas Stadium, this could
- 1:11:14Speaker 3: be you know, Vegas in uh you know, Raider Stadium
- 1:11:19Speaker 3: or a T Mobile.
- 1:11:21Speaker 2: Stadium, you know what I mean. We know Mike wants
- 1:11:23Speaker 2: to fight in Vegas. That's like his He's never fought
- 1:11:26Speaker 2: in Vegas.
- 1:11:26Speaker 3: Yeah, so we're just we could put together you know,
- 1:11:30Speaker 3: you look at the main event with these two, and
- 1:11:32Speaker 3: then we could put together a bad ass card underneath
- 1:11:35Speaker 3: it that we could do this at any arena or
- 1:11:37Speaker 3: any stadium. So we got to figure that out. We're
- 1:11:40Speaker 3: kind of still playing with that and uh and how
- 1:11:43Speaker 3: do I think it goes? Yeah, this I know exactly
- 1:11:46Speaker 3: how it goes. This fight is absolute and pure fucking
- 1:11:50Speaker 3: violence from the minute the bell rings, yeah, till the
- 1:11:52Speaker 3: fight is over. You know, stylistically, when you match these
- 1:11:55Speaker 3: two up, there's no way this fight sucks. It's incredible. Yeah,
- 1:11:59Speaker 3: fight's incredible. Who wins that? I have no idea?
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: Yeah, it will be electric.
- 1:12:04Speaker 2: Who it's that button first.
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: I would assume it'll be some interesting bumps along the
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: way with getting the fight exactly down. Like I can
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: sit here just being a fan, like watching McGregor over
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: the years, like trying to hold some of these situations
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: hostage until he gets whatever he wants. Yeah, you know
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: what I mean, Like you probably can.
- 1:12:22Speaker 3: But you know, he doesn't really do that. It might
- 1:12:25Speaker 3: appear like he does that, you know, Connor Connor. You know,
- 1:12:29Speaker 3: I always hate to compare anybody to Ali, but I
- 1:12:31Speaker 3: always compare him to Ali because he's so good at
- 1:12:35Speaker 3: playing the mental game. He really is with with opponents
- 1:12:38Speaker 3: and stuff like that. But as far as us as
- 1:12:41Speaker 3: a business, I mean, I look at Connor as a
- 1:12:44Speaker 3: great partner. He's not one of those guys. Believe me,
- 1:12:46Speaker 3: I've dealt with some bad guys in the past that
- 1:12:49Speaker 3: will do dirty shit to try to hold you up
- 1:12:51Speaker 3: for more money and stuff like that. He's not that guy.
- 1:12:54Speaker 3: Connor's not that guy.
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: Have a story that you can share about some guys
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: who would do some dirty.
- 1:12:59Speaker 3: Do or T's teto or Teas was the worst with that.
- 1:13:01Speaker 3: He was the worst.
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: It was like get it, almost getting to the finish line,
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: and then like.
- 1:13:04Speaker 3: Yeah, you'd get there a deal with him, You start
- 1:13:07Speaker 3: going and he'd call you three days before the fight
- 1:13:08Speaker 3: and say I want more money three days before the fight.
- 1:13:11Speaker 3: That is how this works. Yeah, Tito did some bad
- 1:13:13Speaker 3: ship in his day. That's why he and I, you know,
- 1:13:16Speaker 3: uh had the relationship that we had and and and
- 1:13:20Speaker 3: you know it's why I don't have a relationship with
- 1:13:22Speaker 3: him today.
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:13:23Speaker 3: You know, at the time when the company was the
- 1:13:25Speaker 3: most vulnerable, peeto Ortis was the worst to deal with.
- 1:13:29Speaker 2: Damn man, man, what was the one question you want asked?
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: I was just gonna say, like, what would you tell
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: your young self back when you started the UFC being
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: where you're at now, or what advice or just anything
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: that you would tell your younger self.
- 1:13:40Speaker 3: I don't know, man, when I when I was younger,
- 1:13:42Speaker 3: I was a savage. I just I uh, I believed
- 1:13:47Speaker 3: in this thing from day one. I stayed the course.
- 1:13:50Speaker 3: I didn't listen to all the outside noise. It's like
- 1:13:52Speaker 3: right now, this exact same thing was slapped you know
- 1:13:55Speaker 3: what I mean? These people are completely irrelevant that the
- 1:13:58Speaker 3: noise that's going on out there, you don't listen to it.
- 1:14:01Speaker 3: You know what's right? You know what you want to do,
- 1:14:04Speaker 3: you know how you want to build your business, and
- 1:14:05Speaker 3: you stay the course that you know is right for
- 1:14:09Speaker 3: the company. You don't listen to any of this outside bullshit.
- 1:14:12Speaker 3: And I think that's the hardest part for people who,
- 1:14:16Speaker 3: no matter what line of work you're in, to drown
- 1:14:18Speaker 3: out that negativity and not let it influence you or
- 1:14:23Speaker 3: listen to it. If anything, let it just fuel you
- 1:14:25Speaker 3: to get out there and shove it up their ass
- 1:14:27Speaker 3: and prove to them all that they were wrong. I mean,
- 1:14:29Speaker 3: that's the only that's the only reason you should ever
- 1:14:31Speaker 3: listen to it is for fuel to get out and win.
- 1:14:35Speaker 3: But all this stuff, when you listen to the media,
- 1:14:40Speaker 3: you're listening to people who have never fucking accomplished anything ever.
- 1:14:44Speaker 3: They've never built a business, nobody's ever depended on them
- 1:14:48Speaker 3: for a paycheck. They're giving you their opinion, and what
- 1:14:51Speaker 3: the fuck does their opinion matter? It doesn't matter. It
- 1:14:54Speaker 3: means shit, you know what I mean. They're out there
- 1:14:56Speaker 3: working just like you. They have to sell their stories.
- 1:14:58Speaker 3: Their story has to people have to read it, so
- 1:15:01Speaker 3: they have to figure out ways to make people try
- 1:15:03Speaker 3: to read their fucking story. This is exactly why anybody
- 1:15:07Speaker 3: whose mainstream are doing big things would rather come do this,
- 1:15:10Speaker 3: a podcast like this with guys like you. This has
- 1:15:14Speaker 3: been a great fucking interview. I don't know how long
- 1:15:15Speaker 3: it's lasted, but it's felt like five fucking minutes. Right,
- 1:15:19Speaker 3: this is where it's all headed. People would rather come
- 1:15:22Speaker 3: down and sit down with people like you than talk
- 1:15:24Speaker 3: to these fucking know nothing, do nothing, never accomplish nothing, motherfuckers.
- 1:15:32Speaker 2: Dana. We appreciate you, man, Thank you.
- 1:15:34Speaker 4: They irritaining time out of your day and we knew
- 1:15:36Speaker 4: you had like a schedule and it was crazy you
- 1:15:38Speaker 4: got to boogie back to Vegas.
- 1:15:40Speaker 2: Thank you so much taking the.
- 1:15:41Speaker 5: Time out of here.
- 1:15:41Speaker 3: I love it. Congrats on all your success man, Congrats
