  in my 20s and even in my 30s, I always worried about what people thought.

  As I got closer and closer to the Lord and closer into my ministry,

  school, and especially now reading the Bible and not worrying and concentrating
• 2:31
  on social media haters, we'll call them, because haters will hate,
• 2:35
  right? Haters will hate.

  One of the things that I concentrate the most on is what I can do to help others.

  What can Angel do to concentrate on making sure that we do what's right for others?

  I can't tell you how often in my early 20s, when I would go out,

  I would worry about what people thought of me.

  I always thought about wearing the right clothes, understanding,

  you know, to try to figure out how I would fit in. But as I got closer to the

  Lord, I realized I'm already in one of the most exclusive, popular.

  Exciting, thrilling crowds, and that is the crowd that loves our Heavenly Father.

  When you allow yourself the opportunity to trust in the Lord,
• 3:52
  you are more popular to Him.
• 3:55
  You are more strengthened by Him
• 3:58
  than any other person that you will encounter. Yes, don't get me wrong.

  We have friends. We have loved ones that encourage us, that lift us up when we need it.
• 4:09
  But in social media, we don't have to go on live to feel as if we are welcomed
• 4:15
  by the social media world.
• 4:16
  We don't need to go on live Facebook. We don't need to go on all these different
• 4:20
  platforms to be noted and to be verified just to make people,
• 4:26
  quote unquote, like you.
• 4:28
  People will like you for who you are because you were created in God's image.
• 4:32
  People will follow you and support you because you're true to yourself and to others.
• 4:37
  As I got older and I realized that, I realized that I had so much more to offer the world.

  And how did I do that? By creating a podcast.
• 4:46
  The podcast has been on the air seven years. And we're closing in on,
• 4:50
  well, we just passed 2,000 episodes. Can you believe that?

  This is episode 2003. three. We've been on the year seven years and we're one
• 4:58
  month, three days away from season eight.

  And I can't tell you that that just brings joy to my heart. So here's what I want you to do.

  As you go about your morning, as you walk into your jobs, do not allow others to show you.

  To motivate you into thinking that you are welcomed into their environment just

  because you feel the need to feel included.

  Understand that the minute you have said to God, I love you,

  I welcome you in my heart, in my thoughts, in my life, you are in the most exclusive,

  most exciting, most thrilling,

  most adventurous path of your life.

  And that is the life that God has created for each and every one of us.

  As you drive into work, as you walk in, say a simple prayer.

  It could be anything like, dear God, allow this day to go smoothly. Be with me.

  May it help me continue to make the right decisions. Don't let anyone steal my joy.
