Latest / SEC Football Addiction / Florida vs Missouri: There's Something UNEXPECTED For Gators & Tigers That YOU NEED TO SEE!
Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Last up today, Miami's rivals, Florida, goes up to Missouri.
- 0:05Speaker 1: I think Florida's handled every test so far. They took
- 0:08Speaker 1: care of bad teams the way you're supposed to. They
- 0:09Speaker 1: went on the road and won, I think convincingly, even
- 0:12Speaker 1: though it was just five points, at Jordan-Hare and then
- 0:14Speaker 1: put probably the singular most impressive result that anybody's had
- 0:20Speaker 1: so far this year in the way that they dismantled No.
- 0:23Speaker 1: 4 Ole Miss. Their offense is legit. I want to
- 0:26Speaker 1: get your thoughts on whether or not Florida can handle
- 0:29Speaker 1: now a new challenge of being the hunted, not the hunter.
- 0:33Speaker 1: This is presented by PrizePix. Talk more about them later.
- 0:35Speaker 1: But thoughts around Florida and Missouri.
- 0:40Speaker 2: This is an interesting game. This line stinks to high heaven, man.
- 0:44Speaker 2: I mean, it is very strange. It really gives me
- 0:47Speaker 2: some pause. It feels kind of similar. Not totally similar
- 0:53Speaker 2: because Florida was favored last week by over a field goal.
- 0:57Speaker 2: But They opened as a two-and-a-half point favorite in this game.
- 1:01Speaker 2: They're sitting at four-and-a-half to five-and-a-half right now. The Florida Gators,
- 1:07Speaker 2: the ones that are the– I mean, we're having a
- 1:10Speaker 2: spurrier fun-and-gun era renaissance with Buster Faulkner and the boys
- 1:14Speaker 2: and Jaden Baugh and doing the damn thing. Like, it's
- 1:17Speaker 2: just odd. It is odd.
- 1:19Speaker 1: Okay?
- 1:20Speaker 2: And they've already been on the road in the SEC,
- 1:22Speaker 2: which is usually where we see teams slip up is
- 1:25Speaker 2: that first road game. There is– You know, some recent history,
- 1:30Speaker 2: not with this regime of Florida, but Missouri has been
- 1:34Speaker 2: a bit of a thumbtack on the floor in Florida's
- 1:39Speaker 2: heel for a little while.
- 1:42Speaker 1: And it.
- 1:44Speaker 2: Feels like this could be an opportunity for Florida to
- 1:48Speaker 2: kind of show, like, yeah, this... Like, if they go
- 1:50Speaker 2: and dominate Missouri, I'm not sure that it changes my
- 1:54Speaker 2: view of them as a potential national title contender, but
- 1:57Speaker 2: it does... changed my view of them as like, okay, yeah,
- 2:00Speaker 2: this is, this is really serious. This wasn't, they got
- 2:03Speaker 2: Ole Miss off the lane train hangover and, and caught
- 2:06Speaker 2: them in a good spot. Now the thing that is
- 2:08Speaker 2: a little giving me pause is I just worked on our,
- 2:14Speaker 2: our preview content for the Georgia Vanderbilt game, which meant
- 2:18Speaker 2: I watched all 22 tape from the Vanderbilt Auburn game. And, uh,
- 2:25Speaker 2: That's a bad Auburn offense, man. It's a really, really
- 2:27Speaker 2: bad Auburn offense. Vanderbilt, who gave up 35, I think
- 2:32Speaker 2: it was, to NC State, they shut that Auburn offense
- 2:37Speaker 2: down and held them to 14, and somehow that group
- 2:40Speaker 2: put up 39 on Florida. So I am having a
- 2:43Speaker 2: little bit of second thoughts on this Florida defense, and
- 2:46Speaker 2: I'm guessing that's why this line is where it is.
- 2:49Speaker 1: Yeah, I also wonder, too, and like I– I'm almost
- 2:55Speaker 1: to the point now, and I believe the ESPN analytics
- 2:57Speaker 1: say that if Florida wins this game, they have a
- 2:59Speaker 1: 62% chance to make the college football playoff. You look
- 3:02Speaker 1: at the rest of their schedule, Kentucky's on there, and
- 3:05Speaker 1: Oklahoma's on there, Florida State, Vandy. They should win. I
- 3:10Speaker 1: think they should win all of those games. The game
- 3:11Speaker 1: at Kentucky probably gives you a little bit of like,
- 3:14Speaker 1: we'll see, South Carolina's on there. They're two tough games
- 3:16Speaker 1: against Texas and Georgia. One of those happening in the
- 3:19Speaker 1: state of Georgia, one happening in the state of Texas.
- 3:21Speaker 1: Neutral for one, but We'll see when we get to Atlanta.
- 3:27Speaker 1: They still have to travel further than they've ever had
- 3:29Speaker 1: to travel to get to this game distance-wise. So I
- 3:33Speaker 1: do think that if Florida can win this one and
- 3:35Speaker 1: prove that they can go on the road, that is
- 3:37Speaker 1: a big deal. I think they've been a top two
- 3:41Speaker 1: or three impressive team in college football. If you want
- 3:44Speaker 1: to say Texas has been better, being in Knoxville last week,
- 3:48Speaker 1: that offense, as good as their defense was, their offense
- 3:52Speaker 1: was equally as not impressive to me. So Texas is
- 3:55Speaker 1: just kind of like this weird conundrum of a team
- 3:58Speaker 1: to me where it's just like, oh, their defense is
- 3:59Speaker 1: going to keep them in every single game. Their offense
- 4:02Speaker 1: is probably going to keep the other team in every
- 4:03Speaker 1: single game. And so that's my holdup with them. I
- 4:08Speaker 1: do think that Florida, it's not as stark, but their
- 4:12Speaker 1: offense is so good and their defense still does have
- 4:14Speaker 1: the question marks that John Sumrall's put around them that
- 4:18Speaker 1: You saw Auburn put up a lot of points. And
- 4:21Speaker 1: so my worry for them is there will be a
- 4:26Speaker 1: game where their offense doesn't look like 2019 LSU. That's
- 4:31Speaker 1: eventually going to happen. You're eventually going to have that game.
- 4:33Speaker 1: That can't coincide with the defense having a bad day, too. Now, cliche,
- 4:39Speaker 1: but defense travels. We'll see. Austin Simmons will have plenty
- 4:42Speaker 1: of motivation for this game, not just because he's a
- 4:43Speaker 1: good quarterback, but because of some recruiting stuff that happened
- 4:46Speaker 1: back in the day. And if you're looking for that perfect,
- 4:49Speaker 1: oh man, yeah, he was committed there and then they
- 4:51Speaker 1: wanted to take a second quarterback. He got kind of got,
- 4:54Speaker 1: you know, he ended up with Ole Miss and hasn't,
- 4:57Speaker 1: you know, Napier was doing a lot of things that
- 5:01Speaker 1: you're like, what the hell was this guy doing? You
- 5:04Speaker 1: had Jaden Ball on your team and what, you know,
- 5:06Speaker 1: what were you doing? They also, I mean, they had
- 5:09Speaker 1: the Rashada stuff there, you know, through.
- 5:11Speaker 2: Oh, I'm familiar with that.
- 5:13Speaker 1: So Florida and quarterbacks, like until they, He.
- 5:16Speaker 2: Came through Georgia for five minutes.
- 5:19Speaker 1: Yeah, he played for about everybody. One of those on
- 5:22Speaker 1: three graphics, which has got 17 teams on the bottom.
- 5:26Speaker 1: At least he didn't have an NFL team on it.
- 5:28Speaker 2: So shout out to California Penal League. I'm not saying
- 5:35Speaker 2: he's illegal. He's been around, man. He's seen it all.
- 5:38Speaker 1: But Simmons is a good quarterback. And I do wonder,
- 5:40Speaker 1: like with this Florida secondary. Now, I love Jaden Woods.
- 5:42Speaker 1: I think he's great. And I think Obedejo. is really
- 5:45Speaker 1: good and has emerged there in that second, you know,
- 5:48Speaker 1: edge rusher spot. A lot of people thought that would
- 5:49Speaker 1: be LJ McCray. I do think that they can get
- 5:52Speaker 1: some pressure on Ole Miss, or I'm sorry, on, on Missouri.
- 5:56Speaker 1: But I wonder about that secondary. If, if Austin Simmons,
- 5:58Speaker 1: who has shown that he's capable of kind of going
- 6:00Speaker 1: off at times, if he has a good day, your
- 6:02Speaker 1: secondary plays down, you know, I think there's a pad
- 6:04Speaker 1: and that's why the line is what it is. Missouri
- 6:06Speaker 1: has been a little bit better against the run than
- 6:08Speaker 1: I think Ole Miss or Auburn are now being better
- 6:11Speaker 1: against the run and welcoming Jaden body. You're a, to
- 6:13Speaker 1: your hometown is, is a little bit, you know, of a,
- 6:16Speaker 1: of an interesting dichotomy, but yeah, there's a store, there's a,
- 6:19Speaker 1: there's a perfect storm here where Missouri is able to,
- 6:22Speaker 1: to continue those old demons of Florida struggling up there and,
- 6:26Speaker 1: and keep it going. I don't think it happens. Cause
- 6:28Speaker 1: I just, I trust the talent a little more, but
- 6:31Speaker 1: it certainly could. I mean, it's the closest to the
- 6:32Speaker 1: three games we're talking about for sure.
- 6:35Speaker 2: Yeah, absolutely. And I, I think, you know, the Jaden Lee, uh, Like,
- 6:41Speaker 2: he's got to go off for Missouri in this game.
- 6:43Speaker 2: He needs to have, like, 120 yards on eight catches
- 6:46Speaker 2: and be able to make some explosive plays and also
- 6:49Speaker 2: some draft-sustaining six-yard type of receptions, which he's fully capable of,
- 6:54Speaker 2: and we've seen him do before. Him versus Kanye Clark
- 6:58Speaker 2: in that kind of slot, nickel-corner role for Florida, that's
- 7:01Speaker 2: probably a matchup I would think Missouri likes. Clark has
- 7:05Speaker 2: been kind of iffy at times, so-so this year.
- 7:08Speaker 1: I mean.
- 7:11Speaker 2: Metrically, if you just kind of dig into this Florida
- 7:15Speaker 2: team and look at it from an advanced stat standpoint,
- 7:20Speaker 2: their offense is beautiful, man. It's gorgeous. Look, I have
- 7:29Speaker 2: a lot of familiarity with Buster Faulkner and great respect
- 7:33Speaker 2: for him. I think he's awesome. Even when he was
- 7:37Speaker 2: coaching at Georgia Tech, his family and his son continue
- 7:41Speaker 2: to live kind of around here in the Athens area.
- 7:44Speaker 2: There's a great football program at North Oconee high school.
- 7:47Speaker 2: And his, his kid was there and like, it's just,
- 7:53Speaker 2: he's somebody that I root for, I guess is the
- 7:56Speaker 2: point I'm trying to make even wherever he is, you know,
- 8:00Speaker 2: at Florida now. So I think that this Florida offense
- 8:04Speaker 2: is very well balanced. It's for the offense. Like, what
- 8:09Speaker 2: they do with Philo in terms of getting him on
- 8:11Speaker 2: the move and misdirecting things and their play action and
- 8:16Speaker 2: the fact that they're kind of constantly running things out
- 8:19Speaker 2: of different formations but continuing to hit their bread-and-butter concepts,
- 8:24Speaker 2: it's very reminiscent of the Todd Monken era of Georgia football, right?
- 8:29Speaker 2: Like when that brain trust of Monken and Faulkner was
- 8:32Speaker 2: kind of the offensive staff here. And that was– I mean,
- 8:36Speaker 2: they didn't lose– many games in that time. They won
- 8:39Speaker 2: back-to-back national titles together. That said, this Florida defense is
- 8:44Speaker 2: not 2021 Georgia or 2022 Georgia, right? They've really struggled.
- 8:50Speaker 1: Let me take a real quick break. Let's give price picks.
- 8:53Speaker 1: If you play a $ 5 lineup on the price picks
- 8:57Speaker 1: app using code HMA, if you win that, your first lineup,
- 9:00Speaker 1: you get $ 150 instantly. If you want a lineup that's
- 9:04Speaker 1: a winner this week, I've got it for you. Bo Pribula..
- 9:07Speaker 1: 5 passing touchdowns. Jaden Baugh,. 5 anytime touchdowns. Jaden Baugh
- 9:14Speaker 1: is going to score on the road up at Missouri.
- 9:17Speaker 1: They're going to hand him the ball 25 times, as
- 9:18Speaker 1: good as Duke Clark has been. That will be a
- 9:21Speaker 1: really good one for you to go out and get.
- 9:23Speaker 1: Florida State's passing defense, absolutely terrible. I say that as
- 9:27Speaker 1: an FSU guy. Bo Pribula will throw for a passing touchdown. Now, normally,
- 9:31Speaker 1: this would only pay out $ 6 on a $ 20 lineup.
- 9:35Speaker 1: But because of the bonus, you get $ 150 in bonus
- 9:37Speaker 1: bets if you use code HMA and it's your first time.
- 9:39Speaker 1: So you want to up your ante, put $ 5 in,
- 9:42Speaker 1: use our code, go set that line up, go win it.
- 9:46Speaker 1: Low payout normally, but $ 150 this week if you use
- 9:50Speaker 1: the code HMA.
- 9:52Speaker 2: From a success rate standpoint, they're 77th in the country.
- 9:56Speaker 2: They're not good when opponents get scoring opportunities. which is
- 10:01Speaker 2: any trip inside the opponent's 40 is considered a scoring
- 10:05Speaker 2: opportunity in advanced stat world. For those that are not familiar,
- 10:09Speaker 2: Florida has given up 4.05 points per trip inside the 40,
- 10:13Speaker 2: which translates to 115th in college football so far. Yes,
- 10:17Speaker 2: they did just play Trinidad Chambliss and Ole Miss. That's
- 10:20Speaker 2: a good offense. Also, they were without Lacey and still
- 10:25Speaker 2: almost put up 500 yards. So it will be interesting
- 10:29Speaker 2: to see. It certainly seems like teams want to hit
- 10:33Speaker 2: Florida in the pass game. We're not seeing Florida have
- 10:36Speaker 2: a huge negative play rate defensively against the run. There's
- 10:42Speaker 2: some things to be concerned about from a line yard standpoint.
- 10:45Speaker 2: They're giving up over three line yards per carry, which
- 10:49Speaker 2: is basically think of that as first contact yards. There's
- 10:55Speaker 2: some stuff here from the Florida defense that will probably
- 10:59Speaker 2: come back to bite them at some point this year.
- 11:02Speaker 2: That's probably going to end up being the question is,
- 11:07Speaker 2: is their offense perfect enough on that level of... like
- 11:11Speaker 2: a 2019 LSU or 2020 Bama or somebody like that,
- 11:15Speaker 2: where it just doesn't really matter. And that's possible, man.
- 11:19Speaker 2: I mean, like it really could be that way for
- 11:21Speaker 2: them for a large, like they could certainly possibly ride
- 11:24Speaker 2: that to a playoff bird. It's not outside the question
- 11:27Speaker 2: at all, but I would still say that their defense
- 11:31Speaker 2: needs to be better than like in the hundreds and
- 11:34Speaker 2: success rate. And some of these categories that, that really
- 11:37Speaker 2: do matter from like a five factor standpoint. They've been
- 11:40Speaker 2: pretty good at not giving up the big killer explosive
- 11:43Speaker 2: play to their credit. So we'll see. But I, I
- 11:48Speaker 2: think that will be fascinating about this game because we,
- 11:51Speaker 2: we just saw Missouri kind of struggle with the Zach
- 11:55Speaker 2: Arnett defense and Mississippi state, I think has probably a
- 11:59Speaker 2: better defense than a lot of people are giving them
- 12:01Speaker 2: credit for, but they're not, overly talented or filled with
- 12:04Speaker 2: NFL players, I think is a fair thing to say
- 12:07Speaker 2: without sounding like a hater. I'm pulling for him. I
- 12:11Speaker 2: like Mississippi State. Go Kamario Taylor. But if Missouri is
- 12:15Speaker 2: able to come out and have a better output against
- 12:20Speaker 2: Florida than they did Mississippi State, that's going to feel
- 12:24Speaker 2: rather informative to me, and it's going to be a
- 12:26Speaker 2: bad sign for Florida's kind of long-term chances.
- 12:30Speaker 1: Yeah, I wonder a little bit about– Florida's started really well.
- 12:37Speaker 1: The only team that's led them so far is the
- 12:39Speaker 1: Campbell Camels. They got a 3-0 lead.
- 12:41Speaker 2: East Carolina stand up.
- 12:45Speaker 1: It started well against Auburn. It started very well against
- 12:47Speaker 1: Ole Miss. What does Florida's offense look like if they've
- 12:51Speaker 1: got to come back? You're down 7 at halftime, which
- 12:56Speaker 1: that's not a huge thing. Maybe if you get the
- 12:57Speaker 1: ball back or whatever. You're down 10 in the second
- 13:00Speaker 1: half or you're down 14 after the quarter.
- 13:01Speaker 2: On the road.
- 13:02Speaker 1: Yeah, that's a little different spot than Philo has been
- 13:05Speaker 1: asked to be in. Now, if that deficit comes early
- 13:08Speaker 1: in the game, I think you still just healthy dose
- 13:10Speaker 1: of Jaden Ball and let him do it. The other
- 13:12Speaker 1: thing with Florida is I think they've been so incredibly,
- 13:17Speaker 1: they've been great on special teams. They really have brought
- 13:20Speaker 1: that emphasis back, and it's the part of the game
- 13:22Speaker 1: that we probably don't give enough attention to because we
- 13:24Speaker 1: go so heavy on offense and defense, and special teams
- 13:27Speaker 1: is not as much of a matchup thing that people
- 13:30Speaker 1: dive into. But they've been so incredibly opportunistic. It's kind
- 13:35Speaker 1: of the right word, but it's also just good. I'm
- 13:37Speaker 1: not trying to minimize how good they've been by saying opportunistic.
- 13:41Speaker 1: But think about last week. Trinidad cuts it to three points,
- 13:45Speaker 1: and they immediately have a 70-yard kick return. I know
- 13:49Speaker 1: he's questionable. I don't expect him to play. But Vernell
- 13:52Speaker 1: Brown takes two punts back for touchdowns. First time in
- 13:55Speaker 1: Florida's history. that that has happened. Miami's done that once
- 13:59Speaker 1: in history. Florida State's never done that. They've had kick
- 14:01Speaker 1: and punt return in the same game, but that's a
- 14:03Speaker 1: very rare thing, and I don't care who they're playing
- 14:05Speaker 1: in that game. It was Campbell. I don't care who
- 14:08Speaker 1: you're playing. Everybody plays bad teams all the time. It's
- 14:11Speaker 1: happened twice in Florida, Florida State, Miami's history. It's just
- 14:15Speaker 1: not common. They are really good on special teams. They've
- 14:18Speaker 1: got good specialists, both kicker and punter, and then they
- 14:21Speaker 1: do a good job in the return game. Those are
- 14:24Speaker 1: the small things that I think have so far, Florida's
- 14:28Speaker 1: offense has been elite, like we talked about, but they're
- 14:31Speaker 1: the things that turn into a 24-point win against Ole Miss.
- 14:35Speaker 1: It's just a backbreaker of like, okay, you cut the
- 14:38Speaker 1: game to three, you need to stop, you get the
- 14:40Speaker 1: ball back in Trinidad's hands, you're good to go, and
- 14:42Speaker 1: then they go out and bust out a 70-yard kick
- 14:44Speaker 1: return score three plays later. Those are the things that
- 14:47Speaker 1: I think are compensating for where the defense is from
- 14:50Speaker 1: a down-to-down efficiency basis. It's also why I think Florida
- 14:57Speaker 1: probably wins this game by the spread. It is stinky.
- 15:01Speaker 1: I don't like it. I probably won't take it myself.
- 15:03Speaker 1: I might just take a flyer on the Florida Moneyline
- 15:06Speaker 1: and add it to something. But if I had to
- 15:08Speaker 1: pick one side or the other, I'm just going with
- 15:10Speaker 1: the more talented team and hoping the outside factors of
- 15:14Speaker 1: being on the road, reading your own press clippings, all
- 15:17Speaker 1: those other things. If you look at this, I like
- 15:19Speaker 1: Florida to win this by seven or more. I'd probably
- 15:22Speaker 1: take them by ten. if I'm just predicting a score.
- 15:25Speaker 1: So maybe it's a little lower scoring than they've been.
- 15:27Speaker 1: Maybe it's like 31-21. Maybe it's 31-24 in a little closer,
- 15:31Speaker 1: more fun game for a neutral. But I do think
- 15:34Speaker 1: Florida covers. I'll lean their way.
- 15:37Speaker 2: Is there any world where Mizzou is able to create
- 15:43Speaker 2: some pressure with Darius Smith and Dayton Hopkins? I mean,
- 15:46Speaker 2: Hopkins has been– Hopkins has eight sacks already this year.
- 15:50Speaker 2: And 20 quarterback pressures. That's an insane amount of production
- 15:53Speaker 2: for four weeks into a season to have eight sacks.
- 15:56Speaker 2: That's wild. I know they weren't against great competition at all,
- 16:01Speaker 2: but he had four sacks at Mississippi State.
- 16:06Speaker 1: I think it's possible. I don't want to say no,
- 16:08Speaker 1: because then it'll just happen. So maybe as an FSU
- 16:11Speaker 1: guy and a Georgia guy, we should say that. But no,
- 16:13Speaker 1: in all seriousness, I think that Florida's offensive line, I
- 16:17Speaker 1: think it's been better run-blocking But they've been a lot
- 16:19Speaker 1: better than I expected coming into this year. Phil Troutwine
- 16:24Speaker 1: has been really, really good. I asked Allie the other day,
- 16:27Speaker 1: do you think Coach Summerall was sandbagging a little bit
- 16:29Speaker 1: when he was complaining about the offensive line so much?
- 16:33Speaker 1: And she said no. Her husband played with Phil, the
- 16:37Speaker 1: offensive line coach. And they said no. And we had
- 16:40Speaker 1: private conversations with him. He was saying, we ain't there yet.
- 16:43Speaker 1: We got a long way to go. And so he's
- 16:44Speaker 1: done a great job, obviously a storied offensive line coach
- 16:47Speaker 1: who did great things at Penn State, and I'm not
- 16:50Speaker 1: super surprised that he's gotten them. Maybe I'm surprised at
- 16:53Speaker 1: how quickly it's happened, but I think their offensive line's
- 16:55Speaker 1: been really good. Better in run than pass, but not
- 16:58Speaker 1: bad in pass. And so I want to say yes
- 17:00Speaker 1: to answer your question, long-winded way of saying I don't know,
- 17:03Speaker 1: but I want to say yes to answer your question,
- 17:05Speaker 1: but I've been impressed with their offensive line, and could
- 17:09Speaker 1: it happen? Yes, but I kind of expect Florida's offensive
- 17:11Speaker 1: line to hold up in this game and not And again,
- 17:16Speaker 1: then you're also adding in the Buster Faulkner factor. If
- 17:18Speaker 1: that starts to be a problem, I expect him to
- 17:20Speaker 1: be able to scheme up to get out of it
- 17:23Speaker 1: from a play-calling standpoint. And the way that they use
- 17:26Speaker 1: pulling guards almost like as disguises, not even when they're
- 17:30Speaker 1: running counter, they're so good up front. They cause that
- 17:33Speaker 1: half second of hesitation for a defense. And so, yeah,
- 17:38Speaker 1: I think I'd lean more Florida's offensive line. Now, go
- 17:40Speaker 1: do it on the road again, all those things. But
- 17:43Speaker 1: if I've got to just take a guess, I think
- 17:44Speaker 1: Florida's trenches probably win that battle on Saturday. I'm buying them, man.
- 17:49Speaker 1: I hate myself for it, but I'm buying UF.
- 17:51Speaker 2: You're drinking that Kool-Aid, man. I am. I hear you.
- 17:54Speaker 1: That orange Kool-Aid. Oh, it's gross.
- 17:59Speaker 2: Look, here's my position on it. Missouri, defensively, I think
- 18:07Speaker 2: we all just watch Kamario Taylor beat them and maybe think,
- 18:14Speaker 2: they're not great. And that, I don't think they're great, great. Like,
- 18:19Speaker 2: but I think that they're probably better. I think there's
- 18:22Speaker 2: still probably an inclination where you watch Mississippi State do
- 18:25Speaker 2: something good and say, maybe that team's not great. And
- 18:30Speaker 2: perhaps we're just not appreciating, or not you and I,
- 18:33Speaker 2: but the public at large is not appreciating some of
- 18:36Speaker 2: the throws that Kamario Taylor made in that game. We're
- 18:38Speaker 2: just legitimately unguardable, right? So I'm curious, like if Aaron
- 18:43Speaker 2: Fowler is laying them deep balls out there like that,
- 18:46Speaker 2: then that's that's going to be quite something. But I
- 18:50Speaker 2: do think that Missouri is going to offer more resistance
- 18:55Speaker 2: from like a balanced team. I think Missouri's defense is
- 18:58Speaker 2: pretty well balanced in terms of its ability to stop
- 19:01Speaker 2: the pass and the run with enough consistency to like
- 19:05Speaker 2: force Florida to drive the field and not live off
- 19:08Speaker 2: all these big explosive plays. I also think that Missouri's
- 19:13Speaker 2: passing game and sort of some of their explosiveness will
- 19:17Speaker 2: give Florida some problems. I just don't think at the
- 19:20Speaker 2: end of the day Missouri can really run the ball
- 19:22Speaker 2: enough to stay balanced in this game. I think Florida wins,
- 19:26Speaker 2: but actually this game gets weird. Something wonky happens. Columbia
- 19:30Speaker 2: is a weird place to play. You can ask down
- 19:34Speaker 2: south SEC veterans like myself. Mizzou will have some explosive
- 19:39Speaker 2: passing plays in this game. And I do think they
- 19:41Speaker 2: might get up at some point, create a little pucker
- 19:44Speaker 2: factor for Florida. I got the Gators by a field goal.
- 19:51Speaker 2: but I got Missouri covering.
- 19:53Speaker 1: Just a quick recap. I'm going to go through and
- 19:56Speaker 1: total up all of these on next week's complete matchup
- 20:00Speaker 1: guide that we do. Last week, we both had Tennessee covering.
- 20:04Speaker 1: You had Texas winning. I had Tennessee winning. I went
- 20:08Speaker 1: out right. But you also took the over, so you
- 20:11Speaker 1: canceled yourself. I was wrong on that. That did not happen.
- 20:14Speaker 1: I took it in real life, and I was like,
- 20:17Speaker 1: this doesn't look good.
- 20:18Speaker 2: Five minutes in, you were like, this ain't going to be.
- 20:21Speaker 1: The way that we want it. We both took Ole
- 20:22Speaker 1: Miss and the Moneyline, so don't listen to us ever
- 20:24Speaker 1: again when it comes to doubting Florida. I took UGA.
- 20:27Speaker 1: You took Oklahoma against the spread. And then I didn't
- 20:30Speaker 1: write down what we took for USC-Oregon. I think I
- 20:33Speaker 1: took Oregon. I didn't believe in USC, but I don't
- 20:36Speaker 1: remember what you took. I just know I picked Oregon
- 20:39Speaker 1: in my picks.
- 20:40Speaker 2: I took Oregon. I had a whole diatribe about not
- 20:45Speaker 2: trusting USC.
- 20:47Speaker 1: So I thought we did pretty well last week. We
- 20:49Speaker 1: got split a little bit with Tennessee, Texas, but overall
- 20:53Speaker 1: a good week. I'm sure we'll– well, we disagreed on
- 20:57Speaker 1: the last two. So somebody will be right.
- 20:59Speaker 2: We've had a pretty good– I think we've been at
- 21:03Speaker 2: or above 500 every week, both individually and as a team.
- 21:08Speaker 1: Not losing money.
- 21:09Speaker 2: We're making money.
- 21:10Speaker 1: That's the key. Graham Coffey, get Tim on Dog Central.
- 21:14Speaker 1: You guys do a great job over there. TJ Pittenger here,
- 21:18Speaker 1: College Football Addiction, and anywhere else that you're seeing this video.
- 21:22Speaker 1: We will be back next week to preview a bunch
- 21:24Speaker 1: of games, talk about how we did. Graham, thanks for
- 21:26Speaker 1: hanging out, bud.
- 21:27Speaker 2: Absolutely. Enjoyed it, man.
