Social Security’s dropping limited-edition “Freedom 250” cards for babies born in the U.S. between July 2 and Dec 31, 2026 — to celebrate America’s 250th birthday. These are the first commemorative cards ever issued, featuring a special black ink logo, but only if parents used the Enumeration at Birth program at the hospital. Regular cards or replacements won’t have the design — it’s strictly for those born in that window and registered via the program.
