Welcome to nature daily wager. I ain't picking winners but I am
• 0:10
making wagers. Time to put my money where my
• 0:13
mouth is. This is Nate's daily wager for
• 0:21
April 16th, 2026 and right up front.
• 0:25
Gotta say happy birthday to my nephew Owen.
• 0:28
I had to count on my fingers and toes a couple times, do some
• 0:32
math, carry the one, bust out the Abacus just to double check,
• 0:36
and holy cow man, you're 13. You're a God darn teenager.
• 0:40
Well, happy birthday, Have a lot of fun.
• 0:43
No longer a kid, you're now a teenager.
• 0:45
I hope you find your groove and rock on, stud, rock on.
• 0:50
All right, last night, obvious I didn't even check because I saw
• 0:55
early on it wasn't looking good. And then by the, I think the
• 0:59
last time I checked, I saw the score, there was about 6 minutes
• 1:02
left, 7 minutes left in the 4th and I realized it wasn't going
• 1:06
to happen. And so I just went and checked.
• 1:09
Now, as we're doing this podcast live here, you're hearing it
• 1:12
recorded. I'm doing it live, you know, as
• 1:14
it goes. And yeah, it was like 18 points
• 1:17
short of what I needed. So yeah, another L We didn't
• 1:22
quite stack the wins. Now we're starting to stack the
• 1:24
LS. But I've, I've got a feeling, an
• 1:27
inkling that we're going to turn it around tonight.
• 1:29
One, because it's someone's birthday. 2, because we got
• 1:32
these same two teams that did US well earlier this week, right?
• 1:35
We got the Kraken and the Avalanche.
• 1:38
At least I think it was a crack in an Avalanche earlier this
• 1:41
week. I know the Avalanche were
• 1:42
involved, Seattle is involved, maybe there's another team.
• 1:45
But the important thing in here is we got Kraken, Avalanche
• 1:49
playing tonight. I'm looking at the numbers.
• 1:51
I see lots of folks like the under on this.
• 1:54
Remember last time everybody liked the over and we liked the
• 1:58
under. Well, this time you got a
• 1:59
different keeper or goaltender or is he a tender or a keeper?
• 2:03
Can't remember how it works for for hockey anyways, the guy, but
• 2:07
the guy guarding the net is different and for the Kraken and
• 2:12
he's not good. So I'm expecting an Avalanche to
• 2:15
be able to score some and same on the other side, they do have
• 2:19
a decent guy, but I'm expecting some scoring and everybody's
• 2:23
expecting the under. So I'm actually getting plus
• 2:26
money, which I love. Yeah, as you long time listeners
• 2:29
know. So that's where I'm going to put
• 2:30
my money and hope this zigging while everyone's zagging, it's
• 2:34
going to work out again. So we're going over 6 1/2 total
• 2:38
goals between the Seattle Kraken and Colorado Avalanche and
• 2:42
tonight's NHL hockey action. See anything better than that?
• 2:46
Pound it. That's my pick and I'm sticking
• 2:48
  to it. Happy birthday, Sir.
