- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous Podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with iHeartRadio.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Hey everyone, welcome to the Almost Famous Podcast. Today we
- 0:10Speaker 2: are going to give you all the latest news in
- 0:12Speaker 2: the Bachelor universe in headlines, and because Ben is away
- 0:18Speaker 2: on a business trip not a fun trip, I have
- 0:21Speaker 2: pretty sure Heather joining me to chat all about them.
- 0:25Speaker 2: Our first headline this week is all about Gary's book,
- 0:29Speaker 2: which is I don't know it came out last week, right,
- 0:33Speaker 2: and the sale. I don't know what the sales are
- 0:35Speaker 2: like because people don't seem to be very supportive of Gary,
- 0:38Speaker 2: that's for sure. The comments are not going in his
- 0:41Speaker 2: favor on social media, and between interviewing him and Theresa
- 0:47Speaker 2: both oh, I know, I just don't know what's the truth, okay.
- 0:52Speaker 2: And then there's she was on Deer Shandy that podcast
- 0:57Speaker 2: this week too, so she's telling her side there or
- 1:01Speaker 2: listen to both interviews. Come to the deduction yourself. I think,
- 1:04Speaker 2: to be fair, Theresa should probably come to our podcast.
- 1:08Speaker 2: I know that she's gonna be on the finale of
- 1:11Speaker 2: Golden Bachelor, and I'm wondering if she's gonna have a
- 1:14Speaker 2: little moment to say her piece on that stage, because
- 1:17Speaker 2: why have her just sit in the audience. I don't know.
- 1:21Speaker 2: It's a wasted opportunity if you ask me anyway. The
- 1:24Speaker 2: first headline has to do with Gary's relationship with his
- 1:28Speaker 2: ex runner up Leslie, because he has a whole chapter
- 1:33Speaker 2: on her in his book as well. So Leslie was asked,
- 1:37Speaker 2: have I read the book. I have not read it.
- 1:40Speaker 2: I have read excerpts from it. I don't know if
- 1:42Speaker 2: I want to read it. She says, I have read
- 1:44Speaker 2: the chapter about me. He actually sent me that chapter
- 1:47Speaker 2: a long time ago. He just wanted to get my
- 1:49Speaker 2: okay on it, and I thought that was very respectful.
- 1:52Speaker 2: I read it, and to be honest, he has nothing
- 1:57Speaker 2: to say bad about me. When that is fantastic. I
- 2:01Speaker 2: think the red flag that waves here is that car.
- 2:04Speaker 2: He was like respectful enough to say, hey, Leslie, I
- 2:09Speaker 2: would love for you to read the chapter about you,
- 2:12Speaker 2: which is really nice. But he did not respect his
- 2:15Speaker 2: ex wife in a similar way because he said, I
- 2:19Speaker 2: don't really care if she's offended by the book, she
- 2:22Speaker 2: should be scared to read it. It's just a totally
- 2:26Speaker 2: different human.
- 2:27Speaker 3: Totally different. And can I just say, as somebody who
- 2:30Speaker 3: did have a copy of the book, if he wanted
- 2:35Speaker 3: to send it to Teresa in advance. He would have
- 2:37Speaker 3: had to send her the entire manuscript because she mentioned
- 2:42Speaker 3: throughout the entire book. Yeah, what I remember him saying
- 2:46Speaker 3: about Leslie specifically in the book was basically that he
- 2:51Speaker 3: ultimately made his decision when they went to Fantasy Suites
- 2:55Speaker 3: and he really couldn't get past the fact that she'd
- 2:58Speaker 3: already been divorced a couple of times. He wasn't being
- 3:01Speaker 3: judgmental of that. He just felt like she wasn't ready
- 3:05Speaker 3: to get married again, and he wanted that, And so
- 3:09Speaker 3: he says in the book, is like one of his
- 3:11Speaker 3: ultimate kind of deciding factors.
- 3:14Speaker 2: Interesting. She also comments on the fight that's going on.
- 3:20Speaker 2: She said, I told Teresa this, I will support my friend.
- 3:23Speaker 2: I adore her, I love her, but this is not
- 3:25Speaker 2: my fight. I don't know if you know they're in
- 3:28Speaker 2: a fight. They're in a fight. She goes, I don't
- 3:30Speaker 2: want to be cold. It's just not my thing. I
- 3:32Speaker 2: will support her, I will listen to her, and I
- 3:34Speaker 2: will give her advice. I want to be sort of
- 3:36Speaker 2: like switcherl in this and then Teresa her big like
- 3:43Speaker 2: quote on the Dear Shandy podcast is that she says,
- 3:48Speaker 2: you know, to Gary through that podcast, you did me
- 3:51Speaker 2: no favors by marrying a woman that you did not
- 3:53Speaker 2: want to marry. You should have called off the wedding.
- 3:56Speaker 2: No matter that we were on TV. It didn't matter.
- 3:59Speaker 2: This is this was our lives. That is kind of
- 4:03Speaker 2: what I insinuated to Gary on the podcast. I was like,
- 4:08Speaker 2: did you guys talk about how you had cold feet?
- 4:11Speaker 2: And he said they kind of did, but they just
- 4:16Speaker 2: went with it anyway.
- 4:18Speaker 3: It takes two to tango. She could have called it
- 4:21Speaker 3: off as well. I'm not not here being a Gary supporter.
- 4:24Speaker 3: People stop binly not interested in either of them and
- 4:30Speaker 3: how they are handling.
- 4:31Speaker 2: I'm also remaining Switzerland in this, I think because the
- 4:35Speaker 2: truth is always somewhere in between, isn't that usually right? However,
- 4:39Speaker 2: can never condone what I know that they talked about
- 4:42Speaker 2: on headlines last week, which was Gary saying that he's
- 4:47Speaker 2: going to chop her up and put her dead body
- 4:51Speaker 2: in the shed. You know, I really tried to mull
- 4:57Speaker 2: this over. I was like, Jared ever say, if Jared
- 5:01Speaker 2: and I ever said that to each other, would it
- 5:05Speaker 2: be taken as a joke. I'm gonna kill maybe if
- 5:10Speaker 2: it was simply I'm overanalyzing maybe right now, but actually
- 5:13Speaker 2: I don't think I'm overanalyzing. I think if you go,
- 5:15Speaker 2: I'm gonna put your dead body in there, that is
- 5:18Speaker 2: one thing. It definitely wouldn't naturally come out of either
- 5:21Speaker 2: of our mouths. It's just like, not not funny. But
- 5:24Speaker 2: I think it's the details. The fact that he said
- 5:27Speaker 2: he was going to kill her and chop her up.
- 5:30Speaker 2: The chop her up part, he's really ef thing weird.
- 5:35Speaker 3: The whole thing is weird, and I think we can
- 5:38Speaker 3: all agree that it's two people who were not a match,
- 5:42Speaker 3: who did not speak the same kind of language, in
- 5:45Speaker 3: that sense of love language. What they wanted, whatever it was,
- 5:50Speaker 3: I don't know if they got hooked by the bachelor bubble.
- 5:53Speaker 3: It sounds like, you know, from what Gary told you
- 5:55Speaker 3: and Ben, he really was determined to leave that experience
- 5:58Speaker 3: with a wife he didn't under stand, like possibly leaving
- 6:01Speaker 3: it solo. I have my own theories about why that is,
- 6:06Speaker 3: but it just they were not a match. They should
- 6:09Speaker 3: not have done this.
- 6:11Speaker 2: Absolutely not final comment on this. Why did we have
- 6:16Speaker 2: to get that quote after he was done with his
- 6:19Speaker 2: press store. I would have loved to ask him about
- 6:22Speaker 2: that one.
- 6:23Speaker 3: Of course, we would have loved him to ask him
- 6:25Speaker 3: about that. He has been completely silent obviously.
- 6:29Speaker 2: Yeah, ever since that PR team was like, we're wrapping
- 6:32Speaker 2: this up.
- 6:33Speaker 3: He did his interviews all back to back to back,
- 6:36Speaker 3: and then he was like peace, going back to my
- 6:39Speaker 3: retirement mode or planning his wedding or whatever he's doing.
- 6:43Speaker 3: But he is literally not going to respond to this.
- 6:46Speaker 3: If he does, it's gonna be like years from now
- 6:49Speaker 3: or something. I think. But we're not going to hear
- 6:52Speaker 3: from Gary for a while.
- 6:55Speaker 2: He's never going to show his fix in pubblic again.
- 6:58Speaker 4: Oh congratulations, you finally dump that dude. Now you're ready
- 7:10Speaker 4: to listen to I Do Part two.
- 7:12Speaker 2: Listen to I Do Part two on the iHeartRadio.
- 7:15Speaker 4: App, Apple podcast or wherever you get your podcasts.
- 7:22Speaker 2: Former Bachelorette Ali Fedotowski is responding to criticism that she's
- 7:26Speaker 2: too thin. Somebody said, who knows if this is really
- 7:31Speaker 2: a big deal. We don't know how many messages Ali
- 7:33Speaker 2: gets like this. She said, girl, my body is amazing,
- 7:39Speaker 2: just like yours. Because somebody said your too thin, My
- 7:43Speaker 2: weight is always fluctuating, as well as my bloat and
- 7:45Speaker 2: how my clothes fit in all of that and it's fine.
- 7:49Speaker 2: I'm fine. I try not to think too much about
- 7:51Speaker 2: my size. If anything, I mostly just focus on how
- 7:54Speaker 2: I feel. And lately, more than ever, I've noticed that
- 7:56Speaker 2: when I eat poor, I feel bad, and when I
- 7:58Speaker 2: eat better, I feel better. And that is truly what
- 8:01Speaker 2: I'm focused on at this point in my life. She
- 8:03Speaker 2: then showed like her jiggly belly buttoned up in jeans,
- 8:09Speaker 2: and she said, this is my belly and all of
- 8:10Speaker 2: its jiggly cuteness. I understand the jiggly belly as a mom.
- 8:16Speaker 2: Like It's like when I stand up, my stomach's pretty flat,
- 8:19Speaker 2: looks good, and it's like the second I sit down,
- 8:22Speaker 2: it just like falls over. And I have gotten plenty
- 8:25Speaker 2: of things that have helped it out. Thermage amazing, m
- 8:29Speaker 2: sculpt amazing. But your stomach will never go back to
- 8:33Speaker 2: how it was pre kids unless you actually go under
- 8:36Speaker 2: the knife. But I will say those two treatments that
- 8:38Speaker 2: I got highly highly recommend if you just feel like
- 8:41Speaker 2: you need a little tightening that's non invasive already. Well,
- 8:46Speaker 2: that's kind of my my thoughts on that. I don't
- 8:49Speaker 2: really have any thoughts on this. It's like people ask
- 8:52Speaker 2: me all the time. Everybody's different, That's what it is.
- 8:55Speaker 2: It's like everybody is different.
- 8:57Speaker 3: But it's almost twenty twenty six, and I'm going to say,
- 9:00Speaker 3: is why are we ever leaving comments about somebody's body
- 9:05Speaker 3: on the internet that we don't know. It's insane. Just
- 9:09Speaker 3: stop people, just stop doing that.
- 9:11Speaker 2: Yeah, she must have gotten enough to say something.
- 9:18Speaker 3: I mean, or they caught her on a bad day
- 9:20Speaker 3: and she was just like, you know, I can't take
- 9:22Speaker 3: this anymore. It's like, we don't know what people are
- 9:24Speaker 3: going through, and the last thing we should be doing
- 9:27Speaker 3: is writing a comment to a stranger talking about their body.
- 9:32Speaker 3: Like it's just people be nice.
- 9:36Speaker 2: Yeah. Also, this person that said you're so thin, she
- 9:39Speaker 2: said she may be showing off, so that makes it
- 9:44Speaker 2: a little bit sassier, rude.
- 9:47Speaker 3: Just yeah, you know, you never know what somebody is
- 9:49Speaker 3: going through. And she, yes, is a public figure, but
- 9:54Speaker 3: it doesn't mean she's a public target. And I just
- 9:57Speaker 3: wish that people would be more mind about the things
- 10:01Speaker 3: that they type and they write, because they're just as
- 10:03Speaker 3: harmful as things that can be said. And if you're
- 10:07Speaker 3: about to write a nasty comment, really think hard and true.
- 10:11Speaker 3: If you would actually say that out loud to the
- 10:14Speaker 3: person if they were standing right in front of you,
- 10:16Speaker 3: because the answer is most likely you wouldn't.
- 10:18Speaker 2: Yeah, so true. Our next headline is totally cringe and
- 10:23Speaker 2: I'm just gonna say it. We're going to be honest
- 10:25Speaker 2: about this one.
- 10:26Speaker 3: Wait, I'm buy exactly the same thing. By the way,
- 10:30Speaker 3: I was like, this is weird.
- 10:34Speaker 2: I may have shared this to a person or two
- 10:38Speaker 2: and been like, eh, sorry, okay, uh yeah. Jason Tartik
- 10:45Speaker 2: says that he ran into Taylor Swift and Travis Kelsey
- 10:48Speaker 2: on their New York City date. He uses the caption
- 10:52Speaker 2: I just met Taylor Swift as the cover to is
- 10:56Speaker 2: reel and it's obviously clickbait. So then he goes on saying, well,
- 11:00Speaker 2: actually I didn't meet her, but she was sitting at
- 11:02Speaker 2: the table right here in the booth next to me,
- 11:04Speaker 2: and she was like and she was there in the
- 11:08Speaker 2: booth next to me for two hours and there's like
- 11:11Speaker 2: less than eighty five people in this room. He's trying
- 11:13Speaker 2: to describe like how intimate the setting is, and he goes,
- 11:16Speaker 2: I was so closer, you know, like this far. He
- 11:18Speaker 2: like shows it was unbelievable. First and foremost, what I
- 11:22Speaker 2: thought was cool was the privacy in the room. There's
- 11:25Speaker 2: no pictures and nobody went up to that table, and
- 11:28Speaker 2: it was a little disheartening. It kind of made me
- 11:31Speaker 2: curious knowing that the privacy that they had in this room,
- 11:34Speaker 2: but the second that they walked out of the club
- 11:36Speaker 2: or the restaurant or whatever, there was gonna be paparazzi.
- 11:40Speaker 2: Like he felt bad that they were going to have
- 11:41Speaker 2: to go endure the paparazzi after this this dinner, okay,
- 11:46Speaker 2: and then he goes, But like the total two hours,
- 11:50Speaker 2: I was just taking it in her electricity, her glow,
- 11:53Speaker 2: her light in the room. You just can't stop looking
- 11:55Speaker 2: at her. She had on the iconic red lipstick, and
- 12:00Speaker 2: she had the watch and the new ring absolutely blinging.
- 12:03Speaker 2: It's just like, Jason, ah lord, you know how much
- 12:06Speaker 2: cooler you would have been if you didn't share all this,
- 12:10Speaker 2: if you just like randomly on your podcast were like
- 12:14Speaker 2: I actually sat next to Tiller Swift one time at dinner.
- 12:16Speaker 2: She seemed very nice. She had like a beautiful aura.
- 12:20Speaker 2: That would be cool. That's cool. You know, it's not
- 12:22Speaker 2: cool posting that you sat at an exclusive restaurant with
- 12:28Speaker 2: eighty five other people in the room. It was just like, oh,
- 12:32Speaker 2: I can't believe this. Then he said she was just
- 12:35Speaker 2: like so humble and real and down to earth and
- 12:37Speaker 2: so pure. There was just like some light. It's like.
- 12:42Speaker 3: It's giving itck, it really really is the whole like
- 12:45Speaker 3: reading it, like I just read it. I didn't even
- 12:48Speaker 3: watch the whole heavy the video. The video came up
- 12:51Speaker 3: on my feet and I definitely scrolled through it quick
- 12:54Speaker 3: because sorry, I'm not feet so I don't care. But
- 12:58Speaker 3: like when I then I saw this and I was
- 13:00Speaker 3: reading it, I was like, this is embarrassing. This is
- 13:04Speaker 3: like I'm sorry. Like I live in Los Angeles, right,
- 13:06Speaker 3: so I hear these kinds of things from like regular people.
- 13:11Speaker 3: Oh I'm friends with so and so. Oh how do
- 13:13Speaker 3: you know them?
- 13:14Speaker 1: Oh?
- 13:14Speaker 3: I met them one time at a meeting. Or it's
- 13:18Speaker 3: just like it's it's over bored on the actual thing,
- 13:22Speaker 3: and it's like, to me, now, all I can see
- 13:25Speaker 3: is Jason Tartick sitting at a table staring at Taylor
- 13:29Speaker 3: Swift like that is all I imagine him doing throughout his
- 13:32Speaker 3: entire dinner.
- 13:33Speaker 2: See this whole real to me, screams a lack of privacy,
- 13:37Speaker 2: like he's concerned about how she's gonna step outside and
- 13:41Speaker 2: like her privacy is going to be gone because of
- 13:42Speaker 2: the paparazzi. But I'm like, you talking about her sitting
- 13:47Speaker 2: there feels like a lack you're being.
- 13:51Speaker 3: You bring up a very good point. That's a very
- 13:53Speaker 3: good point to make. Yeah, it's just like Ick, I
- 13:57Speaker 3: would have again, I would have been like you and
- 13:58Speaker 3: thought it was like so much cool, or if like
- 14:00Speaker 3: not even on his own podcast, Say he's on somebody
- 14:03Speaker 3: else's podcast and she comes up in conversation and he's like,
- 14:07Speaker 3: you know what, I actually saw them having dinner once
- 14:09Speaker 3: and I could feel the love between them. You know,
- 14:12Speaker 3: they looked so in love. It was amazing. I can
- 14:14Speaker 3: see why people like are rooting for them. That's it, Jason,
- 14:18Speaker 3: That's all you need to say something like that.
- 14:20Speaker 2: Absolutely Okay. It gets the worse though, Heather. I'm sorry.
- 14:23Speaker 2: I'm like, this is a little bit of a roast,
- 14:25Speaker 2: Jason targic, and I do believe that this may have
- 14:29Speaker 2: needed to be. Okay, So he says he feels bad
- 14:36Speaker 2: because she's going to go meet the paparazzi. She's gonna
- 14:38Speaker 2: be face with paparazzi, right, and then he says, I
- 14:41Speaker 2: don't respect what the paparazzi does. And I'm like, sure,
- 14:45Speaker 2: I know that you like your photo taken by the paparazzi, okay,
- 14:49Speaker 2: And then for somebody that he doesn't respect their job right,
- 14:53Speaker 2: and he goes out and he interviews a paparazzi. In
- 14:57Speaker 2: this reel, he has clips of him interviewing a paparazzi
- 15:00Speaker 2: asking how much the photos of Taylor Swift are going
- 15:03Speaker 2: to go for?
- 15:04Speaker 3: No?
- 15:05Speaker 2: Yeah, no, And I understand that this is Jason trying
- 15:09Speaker 2: to bring like his business component into his brand is
- 15:14Speaker 2: all either real, hey, guess what I'm okay with this.
- 15:18Speaker 2: You one, don't say that you disrespect them, because that
- 15:22Speaker 2: just doesn't seem genuine. You can say, like, hey, I
- 15:27Speaker 2: happen to be outside of a restaurant that Taylor Swift
- 15:29Speaker 2: is eating at tonight. I am I wanted to talk
- 15:33Speaker 2: to a paparazzi to see like how lucrative this business is.
- 15:37Speaker 2: And then he did a little Q and A with them.
- 15:39Speaker 2: That would have been fine, that would not have been
- 15:41Speaker 2: as cringing to me. It was the fact that like
- 15:42Speaker 2: he just overly compliments her, makes her seem like an
- 15:46Speaker 2: actual like I like, I don't. Of course, she's an
- 15:49Speaker 2: icon in pop culture history, but I mean, like she
- 15:52Speaker 2: makes she's making her seem like an an idol, like
- 15:55Speaker 2: a religious idol, and then he goes and does this
- 15:59Speaker 2: all together. It's just yucky.
- 16:02Speaker 3: It's cringe. Jason, don't do it again.
- 16:07Speaker 2: Oh man, I'm so sorry. I think that I'm sorry.
- 16:12Speaker 2: I mean, I'm a little sorry, but I'm not really sorry.
- 16:14Speaker 2: I just usually not that harsh on people. I just
- 16:16Speaker 2: found that this one was like a little bit and
- 16:18Speaker 2: just felt.
- 16:19Speaker 3: It is It's exactly what you said at the beginning.
- 16:21Speaker 3: It's clickbaity. It doesn't feel genuine. It's like if we
- 16:25Speaker 3: knew him to be like a gigantic Swifty.
- 16:27Speaker 2: Well, that's his whole thing is he's trying to lean
- 16:29Speaker 2: into being a Swifty right now. Like he just makes
- 16:32Speaker 2: it seem like he became a huge Schiller Swift fan
- 16:33Speaker 2: like two or three months ago. And he keeps doing
- 16:35Speaker 2: reels on her because I think that he knows that
- 16:37Speaker 2: they do well. And of course I'm not shaming that
- 16:40Speaker 2: I do reels that I think will do well too.
- 16:43Speaker 2: That is part of our business. I think that there
- 16:47Speaker 2: is just something about this one you know, we will
- 17:02Speaker 2: move on to his ex Caitlin Brissot, who is going
- 17:07Speaker 2: to return to Dancing with the Stars for the twentieth anniversary.
- 17:11Speaker 2: She and Joey are both going to go hit the stage.
- 17:14Speaker 2: It's going to be called a relay Dance Round, and
- 17:19Speaker 2: former Mirror World champions are going to get paired up
- 17:21Speaker 2: and they're going to dance with current competitors. Joey is
- 17:25Speaker 2: going to get paired up with Alex Earl is currently
- 17:27Speaker 2: on the show, and Caitlin is with oh my gosh,
- 17:34Speaker 2: what's his name, Andy Richter? Oh my gosh, Yes, that's right, Okay,
- 17:39Speaker 2: I was sorry.
- 17:40Speaker 1: I was.
- 17:40Speaker 2: She's gonna be paired with Indie Richter, who is like
- 17:44Speaker 2: a dark horse in this whole season, Like everybody's obsessed
- 17:47Speaker 2: with the fact that, like he's gotten this far. Nobody's
- 17:49Speaker 2: really sure is he good? Though? Because I was. I
- 17:53Speaker 2: was actually on a here's my name drop moment. I
- 17:56Speaker 2: was on Stars on Mars with Indie Richter, and he
- 18:00Speaker 2: and I almost died together. We were on a private plane.
- 18:04Speaker 2: We were on a private plane in the middle of
- 18:06Speaker 2: effing nowhere, Australia, you guys. I did not see a
- 18:09Speaker 2: house on the ground for two like an hour and
- 18:14Speaker 2: a half in the air, and there's this guy is
- 18:18Speaker 2: putting our luggage in the backup. I'm already very scared
- 18:21Speaker 2: that it's a private plane and he's putting his our
- 18:24Speaker 2: luggage in the back of a private plane. A four seater,
- 18:27Speaker 2: A four seater, not a Luxy four seater. What was
- 18:31Speaker 2: very scary about this private plane ride was that there
- 18:35Speaker 2: was no co pilot. Okay, so I think I was
- 18:40Speaker 2: with Andy Richard at a time that possibly we could
- 18:42Speaker 2: have died because nobody would have been able to fly
- 18:44Speaker 2: the plane if this guy had a heart attack.
- 18:47Speaker 3: Maybe Andy Richter knows how to fly a.
- 18:49Speaker 2: Plane, maybe he does. But anyway, Caitlin will be dancing
- 18:53Speaker 2: with him as part of this, and I know that
- 18:55Speaker 2: she's rehearsing with Sasha, which is Jen's X. So much Bachelor,
- 19:03Speaker 2: so many Bachelor connections and ties, a.
- 19:06Speaker 3: Lot, a lot. I'm excited though, because you know, Caitlin
- 19:09Speaker 3: is obviously a phenomenal dancer. Joey crushed it last season,
- 19:14Speaker 3: and Joey's also doing the Dancing with the Stars podcast,
- 19:19Speaker 3: and you know, the season just seems to be really
- 19:22Speaker 3: really crushing it with the audience.
- 19:24Speaker 2: People are like, yeah, people are obsessed this season. I
- 19:27Speaker 2: have never gotten into Dancing with the Stars, and I
- 19:29Speaker 2: feel bad because I've had friends on it. I just
- 19:31Speaker 2: I'm like, yeah, guys, I watch your dance and then
- 19:34Speaker 2: I basically turn it off.
- 19:35Speaker 3: I will say this season, the Dancing of the Stars
- 19:39Speaker 3: has really like leveled up. Like Alex Earl's fantastic Whitney
- 19:43Speaker 3: from you know, Secret Lives is fantastic, But usually we
- 19:48Speaker 3: get more Andy Richters, we get these people that have
- 19:52Speaker 3: a background, and so I think that's what's kind of
- 19:54Speaker 3: setting him apart this season, and what people are rooting
- 19:57Speaker 3: for is like his level of dance was not on
- 20:00Speaker 3: that level and it is increasing as the week by.
- 20:03Speaker 3: But yeah, people, that's how the show used to be.
- 20:07Speaker 3: We used to have like ten Andy Richters and maybe one.
- 20:10Speaker 2: Gid Yeah, so you know, yeah, it was like the
- 20:12Speaker 2: first round of American Idol auditions exactly. Yeah, and then
- 20:18Speaker 2: they get old those auditions. Our final headline of the
- 20:22Speaker 2: week is is Ari Lyondyke documents his last car race. So,
- 20:29Speaker 2: as you guys know, Ari and Lauren had their fourth
- 20:33Speaker 2: child this year, a baby girl, Livy, and just recently
- 20:39Speaker 2: Ari decided that it was time to end his love
- 20:43Speaker 2: for racing. He said this weekend, I joke to Vegas
- 20:46Speaker 2: for my last sprint car race. After going back and forth,
- 20:50Speaker 2: I just knew in my heart that pursuing my goal
- 20:52Speaker 2: of winning races was just going to be a huge commitment.
- 20:55Speaker 2: And I was like, interesting. So it was a huge
- 20:57Speaker 2: love of a goal, big commitment. But he doesn't want
- 21:01Speaker 2: to take it on because he says that putting everything
- 21:03Speaker 2: on the line for these last few tents wasn't something
- 21:08Speaker 2: that I could do in that car, and I was like, Okay,
- 21:11Speaker 2: I don't understand what the heck that means. I was
- 21:13Speaker 2: just thinking about the Brad Pitt movie. Well it was
- 21:15Speaker 2: it was good. Really, I like that movie F one
- 21:18Speaker 2: f one. I learned things from that movie, and I
- 21:23Speaker 2: was trying to use the education here. But Ari went
- 21:26Speaker 2: on to describe a little bit more. He actually says,
- 21:29Speaker 2: it's hard to describe when someone hasn't actually a different one,
- 21:32Speaker 2: but you're holding onto a one thousand horsepower rocket and
- 21:37Speaker 2: the risk is huge if something breaks or a pass
- 21:40Speaker 2: doesn't go as planned and you end up in the wall.
- 21:44Speaker 2: I'm just in a different place in life right now,
- 21:46Speaker 2: and that's not a bad thing. So I totally understand
- 21:48Speaker 2: he's basically just not risking his He's deciding to not
- 21:51Speaker 2: risk his life anymore because he has four kids.
- 21:54Speaker 3: I'm curious, was there anything that you or Jared gave
- 21:58Speaker 3: up when you guys started kids, like or anything that
- 22:02Speaker 3: you've I don't know, Like some people are interested in,
- 22:06Speaker 3: like going skydiving, but then the second they have kids,
- 22:08Speaker 3: they're like, I'm gonna rethink that skydiving thing.
- 22:11Speaker 2: Yeah, we're not really risk takers, like physically, so not really.
- 22:17Speaker 2: I think that like both of us would we both
- 22:21Speaker 2: probably would go skydiving, but we probably both won't now.
- 22:29Speaker 2: Kind of like that, I wouldn't say that we really
- 22:30Speaker 2: gave up anything. I wish I could have a better,
- 22:33Speaker 2: more interesting answer for you.
- 22:34Speaker 3: I totally understand Jared.
- 22:36Speaker 2: Wants to ride a motorcycle. He's always wanted to be
- 22:40Speaker 2: Tom Cruise on a motorcycle, and I've always said, no,
- 22:43Speaker 2: you're not allowed to do that, and he especially is
- 22:45Speaker 2: not allowed to do that now because my dad, as
- 22:46Speaker 2: a doctor, calls them suicycles.
- 22:49Speaker 3: Did you so? I was gonna ask you if you
- 22:51Speaker 3: grew up in a house like mine where my mom
- 22:53Speaker 3: told me growing up, if I ever catch you on
- 22:55Speaker 3: the back of a motorcycle. You were going to be
- 22:57Speaker 3: in so much trouble and then yeah, ended up marrying
- 23:01Speaker 3: her husband had a motorcycle, and then as soon as
- 23:04Speaker 3: they had a child, the motorcycle was sold.
- 23:07Speaker 2: Really okay, good, good, Sorry to everybody out there. I'm
- 23:12Speaker 2: just apologizing a lot for just being honest today.
- 23:16Speaker 1: No.
- 23:16Speaker 2: I mean, if you want to ride it, most of
- 23:17Speaker 2: it's fine, but like they're freaking dangerous. Alrighty. Tomorrow Heather
- 23:23Speaker 2: and I will be back together recapping the finale of
- 23:27Speaker 2: The Golden Bachelor. I'm very i haven't thought about it
- 23:30Speaker 2: for like two weeks, so I'm interested to see what happens.
- 23:34Speaker 2: And until next time, I've been Ashley, I've been Heather.
