Starvation Heights: The Deadly Cure of Linda Hazzard
This week we dive into one of the Pacific Northwest’s darkest stories — the tale of Dr. Linda Hazzard, the so-called “Starvation Doctor.”
From her rise as a self-styled healer to the horrors of Starvation Heights in Olalla, WA, we follow the patients who suffered under her deadly cure, the shocking death of Claire Williamson, the role of E.R. Butterworth’s mortuary, and the sensational trial that exposed it all.
It’s a chilling blend of history, true crime, and ghost story — and a reminder of how desperation can be exploited in the name of healing.
