- 0:05Speaker 1: What is the best compliment you can pay a woman?
- 0:10Speaker 2: Now?
- 0:10Speaker 1: We asked this question on Facebook and we got a
- 0:14Speaker 1: ton of great answers. Angie, you're the closest woman in
- 0:18Speaker 1: the vicinity. Could you speak for all women please? Valentine's
- 0:23Speaker 1: Days right around the corner. Maybe there are some single
- 0:26Speaker 1: fellas out there who want to potentially get a nice
- 0:30Speaker 1: Valentine's Day date.
- 0:31Speaker 3: Okay, I will not speak for all women. Sure, there's
- 0:34Speaker 3: not a.
- 0:35Speaker 2: One compliment fits all.
- 0:36Speaker 4: Now, I'm fully aware that I'm shallow, so here the way,
- 0:43Speaker 4: this is the best compliment that I always say. There
- 0:45Speaker 4: are three ways to my heart. Call me funny, that's
- 0:48Speaker 4: not shallow. If you call me funny, it's nice. If
- 0:50Speaker 4: you call me pretty, or if you say I look
- 0:53Speaker 4: like I've lost weight, I don't need you to tell
- 0:57Speaker 4: me I'm smart, like I don't care about that.
- 1:00Speaker 2: That's fabulous. All right?
- 1:02Speaker 1: Well, hey, Angie, know what you're so funny? Thank you,
- 1:05Speaker 1: You're welcome.
- 1:06Speaker 2: All right.
- 1:06Speaker 1: We asked this question on Facebook and there are a
- 1:08Speaker 1: lot of fantastic answers. Don you make me want to
- 1:12Speaker 1: be a better man? That's a film quote. She says,
- 1:15Speaker 1: I'm your huckleberry.
- 1:16Speaker 3: Oh that's a film question.
- 1:18Speaker 2: Yeah it is, Yes, a great movie.
- 1:20Speaker 1: And then we saw a lot of this, and I'm
- 1:22Speaker 1: sure this is true for a lot of people. Maybe
- 1:24Speaker 1: for others this might not be something that would really
- 1:27Speaker 1: do it for him, but for a lot of people
- 1:28Speaker 1: it does. You're a good mom, you're a good wife,
- 1:31Speaker 1: you're a good grandma. Those all kind of under one
- 1:35Speaker 1: umbrella seem to be some of the heavy favorites.
- 1:37Speaker 2: But I really like one like this.
- 1:39Speaker 1: I think this is something people need to say to
- 1:41Speaker 1: each other in relationships more, or in friendships more, or
- 1:45Speaker 1: just coworkers.
- 1:46Speaker 2: This is something you could say to anybody. I appreciate you.
- 1:50Speaker 3: I like that, Gabe, I do appreciate you.
- 1:53Speaker 2: Thank you. I appreciate you too, Angel, thank you.
- 1:55Speaker 1: All Right, Well, after all of that nonsense, Okay, supposedly
- 1:58Speaker 1: there is a correct day answer.
- 2:00Speaker 4: Wait, so this is a subject to whoever? Okay, there's
- 2:04Speaker 4: like an answer, an umbrella answer.
- 2:06Speaker 1: Supposedly, Yes, there is this woman who wrote this article
- 2:10Speaker 1: and argued what the most meaningful compliment you can give
- 2:14Speaker 1: a woman? All right, and I'll give you a couple
- 2:16Speaker 1: hints here. It isn't about her looks, but about whom
- 2:20Speaker 1: kidding but it's about who she is. It's a compliment
- 2:23Speaker 1: that focus on focuses on character, presence and emotional impacts. Supposedly,
- 2:30Speaker 1: this lasts longer and feels more authentic than an appearance
- 2:34Speaker 1: based praise.
- 2:35Speaker 3: I have no idea what this compliment could be.
- 2:38Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm gonna tell you what it is, coming up
- 2:39Speaker 1: in about six minutes here after Hunter tricks with Golden.
- 2:43Speaker 1: If you think you know what this is, hey, maybe
- 2:45Speaker 1: you came across this article as well. All right, let
- 2:47Speaker 1: us know it's seven oh one two eight zero one
- 2:50Speaker 1: nine eight seven. I will give you a hint right now. Though,
- 2:54Speaker 1: if I were to ever look my what and trying
- 2:56Speaker 1: to be serious, look my wife in the face and
- 2:59Speaker 1: say this one hundred times out of one hundred, I
- 3:03Speaker 1: think she just starts laughing at me.
- 3:05Speaker 2: Oh okay, all.
- 3:06Speaker 3: Right, what do you think it is?
- 3:07Speaker 4: What is the best compliment you can pay a woman?
- 3:11Speaker 4: Seven one two eight one nine eight seven.
- 3:19Speaker 1: Supposedly, this compliment would be the most meaningful compliment you
- 3:23Speaker 1: can give a woman. No, it's not you're a wonderful mom,
- 3:27Speaker 1: You're an excellent wife. It's not even I appreciate you
- 3:30Speaker 1: or I appreciate everything you do Angie. This article, written
- 3:35Speaker 1: by this lady argued that this compliment, which focuses on character, presence,
- 3:41Speaker 1: emotional impact, it lasts longer and it feels more authentic
- 3:45Speaker 1: than an appearance based praise.
- 3:48Speaker 2: Okay, the phrase.
- 3:54Speaker 3: Gabe, why are you laughing?
- 3:56Speaker 1: The phrase you enchant me is a highlighted as especially
- 4:02Speaker 1: powerful because it expresses deep admiration without judgment or condition.
- 4:06Speaker 1: It conveys emotional connection, mystery, and sincerity, suggesting she captivates
- 4:12Speaker 1: you through her personality energy in a way of being,
- 4:16Speaker 1: not effort or perfection. This Ultimately, the article says, the
- 4:20Speaker 1: best compliment reveals genuine emotional truth and makes someone feel
- 4:24Speaker 1: truly seen valued.
- 4:26Speaker 3: Enchant me.
- 4:27Speaker 4: I will say this in the privacy of my own home.
- 4:31Speaker 4: When I'm with Mikey. We say some extremely corny, cheesy
- 4:37Speaker 4: things to each other, of course, yeah, very lovey, debby whatever.
- 4:41Speaker 4: If this man ever looked at me and said you
- 4:44Speaker 4: enchant me, the ick is activated. Ill, that is not
- 4:49Speaker 4: that's the worst compliment. Actually, I'd rather you.
- 4:52Speaker 3: Say you're kind of a B word. I'd be like, well, yeah,
- 4:55Speaker 3: at least to be honest.
- 4:56Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm from zero to hero.
- 4:58Speaker 1: If you're at the ball Angie, you're you know, you're
- 5:01Speaker 1: at Frank's lounge. Uncle Frank's is what I call it. Yeah,
- 5:03Speaker 1: and you're single, all right, so Mikey doesn't exist in
- 5:06Speaker 1: this big scenario.
- 5:07Speaker 4: Uh.
- 5:07Speaker 2: And some gentlemen.
- 5:09Speaker 1: Maybe he's very very nice, maybe he's even kind of handsome. Yeah,
- 5:12Speaker 1: we're to come up to you and you know, you're
- 5:15Speaker 1: sitting on your little cocktail or whatever.
- 5:16Speaker 2: And he was just like, oh, you enchant me.
- 5:20Speaker 4: I have to go to the bathroom and then I
- 5:22Speaker 4: never come back, and then you getting an uber home. Yes,
- 5:26Speaker 4: that is the ick personify you enchant me, sir.
- 5:31Speaker 3: They wouldn't even put that in a Hallmark Channel movie.
- 5:33Speaker 2: Okay.
- 5:34Speaker 1: Seven oh one two eight zero one nine eight seven.
- 5:37Speaker 1: Supposedly the best compliment you can pay a woman. And
- 5:41Speaker 1: this article was written by a woman. It was from
- 5:43Speaker 1: a lady.
- 5:43Speaker 4: All right. I want to hear from someone who would
- 5:46Speaker 4: like this compliment, because why why no one two.
- 5:50Speaker 1: Eight zero one nine eight seven. Let us know what
- 5:54Speaker 1: you think about the you enchant me compliment. Valentine's Day
- 5:58Speaker 1: is right around the corner, and some dude named Larry
- 6:01Speaker 1: might be using this, and I want to know if
- 6:03Speaker 1: it works.
- 6:03Speaker 5: Okay, celebrating life's little victories. Y every morning we practice
- 6:12Speaker 5: gratitude on Big ninety eight point seven.
- 6:15Speaker 3: If I could, I would keep this feeling in a
- 6:17Speaker 3: plastic job busted out when it was someone's acting hard.
- 6:20Speaker 5: I just really needed to win, you know, sure your
- 6:23Speaker 5: little victories with us at seven oh one two eight
- 6:25Speaker 5: o one ninety eight seven.
- 6:28Speaker 2: Can I give Tatum a big shout out this morning?
- 6:30Speaker 4: Though?
- 6:31Speaker 2: Tatum sent us a little victory.
- 6:32Speaker 1: Hell yeah, brother, she found twenty bucks on the sidewalks.
- 6:38Speaker 2: Way to go, Tatum. I'm happy for you.
- 6:40Speaker 1: I hope you enjoy that twenty get yourself a nice
- 6:43Speaker 1: energy drink a Gatorade, and that you'll probably be in
- 6:47Speaker 1: about twenty bucks.
- 6:48Speaker 3: Yeah, well, perhaps unrelated, I lost twenty bucks.
- 6:51Speaker 2: You run kidding, I'm kidding, Angie. Do you have a
- 6:54Speaker 2: little victory for us today?
- 6:56Speaker 4: If you had to the Big ninety eight point seven
- 6:58Speaker 4: Facebook page, there's a little real that we shared where
- 7:02Speaker 4: you can see that yesterday, perhaps I was dressed inappropriately
- 7:08Speaker 4: for the weather. All right, Gabe has been on me
- 7:13Speaker 4: about the fact that I don't dress appropriately for how
- 7:17Speaker 4: cold it is in Fargo, and I have a whole
- 7:19Speaker 4: dissertation basically as to why. However, today, when I was
- 7:24Speaker 4: walking out the door, Mikey my boyfriend, looks at me
- 7:28Speaker 4: and he goes, you're wearing a jacket, And I said, yeah,
- 7:32Speaker 4: I got to prove my hater's wrong.
- 7:35Speaker 3: And my hater is Gabe. I love that, okay, And
- 7:40Speaker 3: so I got in my car, I drove here, and I.
- 7:44Speaker 4: Walked into the studio wearing a very cute pupper jacket,
- 7:50Speaker 4: and Gabe, I think.
- 7:51Speaker 3: You were proud of me.
- 7:53Speaker 1: I could not be more thrilled. You took my little
- 7:55Speaker 1: victory right out of my own mouth. But no, I'm
- 7:59Speaker 1: very happy you a jacket today, Angie. I'm proud of you.
- 8:01Speaker 1: It's a sign of growth.
- 8:03Speaker 4: Well, to be honest, the only reason that I did
- 8:05Speaker 4: it is because I had to drive myself to work
- 8:07Speaker 4: today because Mike has is subbing today. Yeah, and it
- 8:10Speaker 4: would be my luck that when I'm by myself driving
- 8:14Speaker 4: it would break down or something, and then I would
- 8:15Speaker 4: regret not having appropriate cold weather gear.
- 8:19Speaker 1: Well, you should always be dressing appropriate for the weather.
- 8:22Speaker 1: There are lots of stories I could tell you about
- 8:24Speaker 1: people who weren't. And hey, either really regret it or
- 8:28Speaker 1: b I want to go down that rabbit hole, but
- 8:30Speaker 1: aren't around anymore?
- 8:31Speaker 2: Around hole? Dress for the weather? All right?
- 8:34Speaker 3: Yes, well I did today, So that is my little victory.
- 8:36Speaker 1: What about you, game, I'm very happy for you. Can
- 8:38Speaker 1: I rifle off like four little victories? Yes, I'll make
- 8:41Speaker 1: them very quick. Number one, Angie has a jacket on.
- 8:44Speaker 2: Today I could. I'm like a proud parent this morning.
- 8:47Speaker 2: I could not be more proud of you today.
- 8:50Speaker 1: Number two, I watched the first episode of A Night
- 8:53Speaker 1: of the Seven Kingdoms. Oh yeah, this Game of Throne spinoff,
- 8:57Speaker 1: and from what I've seen, I've tried to make sure
- 9:00Speaker 1: I don't get any spoilers, which I don't know how
- 9:02Speaker 1: there could be. There's only been one episode, but from
- 9:04Speaker 1: what I can tell, this is supposed to be a
- 9:06Speaker 1: lot more lighthearted the Game of Thrones. Yeah, so I'm
- 9:09Speaker 1: looking forward to that obviously. The characters seem great so far,
- 9:13Speaker 1: Sir Duncan and Egg, who's just this adorable young child
- 9:17Speaker 1: but here. Oh, also, the Minnesota Wild have won two
- 9:20Speaker 1: in a row. Of course, we got on Big ninety
- 9:22Speaker 1: eight point seven, and I told everyone to watch the
- 9:24Speaker 1: Minnesota Wild because they're very, very good. And then the
- 9:27Speaker 1: very next two games they played, they got absolutely dogwae.
- 9:30Speaker 1: Oh no, But thank god they've won two in a row,
- 9:33Speaker 1: so they're back kind on the winning side of things.
- 9:36Speaker 1: But here is my little victory, and I'm hoping that
- 9:39Speaker 1: I got signed up in time. I am going to
- 9:43Speaker 1: be taking a dad class. It's called the New Dad's Playbook.
- 9:48Speaker 1: This class is for a first time support person learn
- 9:51Speaker 1: how to properly care for a new board and what
- 9:53Speaker 1: to expect those first few days. I will tell you
- 9:56Speaker 1: right now, I don't know jack squat about babies. I
- 10:00Speaker 1: mean zero. I'm real good with babies once they can
- 10:03Speaker 1: move and kind of operate and keep their head up
- 10:05Speaker 1: and maybe crawl. Yeah, and by real good, I'm still trash.
- 10:08Speaker 1: I don't know anything, but at least I know they
- 10:10Speaker 1: can crawl. I know nothing about brand new babies.
- 10:14Speaker 3: So you know, while you're the John Snow of fun, that's.
- 10:17Speaker 1: Right, your boy is gonna take a class. And I
- 10:19Speaker 1: think I hopefully got signed up for the one today
- 10:22Speaker 1: on time. If I didn't, I'll get the next one.
- 10:24Speaker 1: But I've been waiting for January twenty to take this class.
- 10:27Speaker 3: This is the cutest thing I've ever heard.
- 10:30Speaker 2: I need to learn because I don't know what to
- 10:32Speaker 2: do I need.
- 10:32Speaker 3: Documentation of this.
- 10:34Speaker 4: Please take pictures tomorrow. You need to report back, all
- 10:38Speaker 4: right with all your findings.
- 10:39Speaker 2: All right, I got you.
- 10:40Speaker 1: If I got, I got I should have signed up yesterday.
- 10:43Speaker 1: I kind of completely forgot, So I asked if I
- 10:45Speaker 1: can sign up this morning. I'll get back to you tomorrow.
- 10:48Speaker 1: If I took the class, I'll have some details for you.
- 10:50Speaker 1: If I have to take the next one, we'll just
- 10:52Speaker 1: postpone it and i'll take the next.
- 10:53Speaker 3: Well, here's your first tip. We can't ever just kind
- 10:55Speaker 3: of forget about the baby, Okay, decent?
- 11:04Speaker 1: All right, it's obviously cold with the wind it has
- 11:07Speaker 1: been the past couple days. I mean twenty one, twenty
- 11:09Speaker 1: two below. You're well aware of that. And I very
- 11:13Speaker 1: very soon, well not very very soon, but all too soon. Yeah,
- 11:18Speaker 1: we'll be entering a new phase of life called parenthood.
- 11:22Speaker 1: And one thing I would like to know if you
- 11:25Speaker 1: have and this is especially especially true with teenage boys.
- 11:31Speaker 1: I think between thirteen and maybe sixteen. I think once
- 11:34Speaker 1: they're seventeen eighteen they grow out of it. Maybe I'm
- 11:37Speaker 1: dead wrong. What age do kids grow out of the
- 11:40Speaker 1: they're too cool to wear a jacket? All right, I
- 11:44Speaker 1: need to know seven oh one two eight zero one,
- 11:47Speaker 1: nine eighty seven, because I have tried tried to practice
- 11:50Speaker 1: this speech on Angie the past couple days on the
- 11:53Speaker 1: importance of wearing a jacket. Yeah, when it is cold, okay,
- 11:57Speaker 1: you never know what's going to happen in your car.
- 11:59Speaker 1: You could and be in a ditch and stuck. It
- 12:01Speaker 1: could not start, you could run out of heat, it
- 12:04Speaker 1: could flip. You could have a seat belt on and
- 12:06Speaker 1: you might survive. But your windows shatter and you don't
- 12:08Speaker 1: have a jacket in the car, you freeze today.
- 12:10Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, that's a good one.
- 12:12Speaker 2: I'm just that one actually works at the very least
- 12:16Speaker 2: have one.
- 12:16Speaker 4: In the car.
- 12:17Speaker 3: Yeah, I was someone I run hot.
- 12:20Speaker 4: Here's the issue is that I feel like, definitely there
- 12:23Speaker 4: are middle schoolers. I feel like is when I experienced
- 12:27Speaker 4: this with Aiden, where it's like, I don't need a jacket,
- 12:30Speaker 4: I'm not cold, it's fine.
- 12:32Speaker 3: And when he was.
- 12:35Speaker 2: That was very good.
- 12:36Speaker 4: When he was in middle school, we lived in Washington
- 12:39Speaker 4: and so it was always raining, and so I don't
- 12:42Speaker 4: need a rain jacket, not a big deal.
- 12:44Speaker 3: And I'm like, no, you need a jacket. This is annoying.
- 12:47Speaker 3: But then he would say to me, well, you never
- 12:49Speaker 3: wear a jacket, and that is fair.
- 12:51Speaker 2: Gotcha, he got me.
- 12:52Speaker 4: The thing is I run hot, and so I feel
- 12:56Speaker 4: like I don't need to wear a jacket ever. I
- 13:00Speaker 4: think kids, you have to know the kid. So if
- 13:02Speaker 4: your kid tends to run hot, you have to like
- 13:05Speaker 4: know the signs, right, Is he never wearing a blanket
- 13:08Speaker 4: in the house, Like, that's what you need to know,
- 13:10Speaker 4: because if the kid runs hot, I understand not wearing
- 13:14Speaker 4: a full.
- 13:15Speaker 3: On jacket, maybe just wearing like a sweater.
- 13:17Speaker 1: H There is no one on earth who runs too
- 13:20Speaker 1: hot for minus twenty one.
- 13:22Speaker 2: No quite literally, not a soul.
- 13:26Speaker 4: I did have to tell Aiden today to take if
- 13:30Speaker 4: Mikey is subbing today, he usually takes them to school.
- 13:33Speaker 3: Yeah, so Aiden said, oh, I'm just gonna walk to school.
- 13:35Speaker 3: And I was like, no, you're gonna take the bus.
- 13:37Speaker 2: Yeah you are.
- 13:39Speaker 3: It's not that bad.
- 13:40Speaker 4: I was said, you're it's gonna be below And he
- 13:43Speaker 4: does not wear enough layers. I don't think, especially to
- 13:47Speaker 4: be walking to school. So, and he's a freshman now,
- 13:50Speaker 4: so I don't know when they grow out of it,
- 13:52Speaker 4: if they ever do.
- 13:53Speaker 1: Maybe you do seven oh one two eight zero one
- 13:56Speaker 1: nine eight seven. Did you ever have to have the
- 14:00Speaker 1: the talk? And I Am not talking about that talk
- 14:02Speaker 1: I'm talking about I'm talking about the talk about jackets
- 14:06Speaker 1: with your son. Let us know this morning on Big
- 14:09Speaker 1: ninety eight point seven, because I'm gonna need all the
- 14:11Speaker 1: resources I can if and when, you know, I become
- 14:14Speaker 1: a parent and they think I don't.
- 14:16Speaker 2: Need to wear a jacket, Yes you do. It's minus
- 14:19Speaker 2: twenty one. Okay.
- 14:22Speaker 5: In the world of rules in gray areas, one morning
- 14:24Speaker 5: show dares to ask the hard questions.
- 14:27Speaker 2: We both know you're guilty.
- 14:28Speaker 3: He's guilty.
- 14:29Speaker 2: Is it legal?
- 14:30Speaker 1: You're guilty of the worst crime of all?
- 14:33Speaker 5: On Big ninety eight point seven.
- 14:37Speaker 1: Have you ever noticed the law is like, we care
- 14:39Speaker 1: about your safety, but let's not get carried away, because technically,
- 14:45Speaker 1: even if you're trying to save your own life, you
- 14:49Speaker 1: still couldn't break into a car to do it. It's freezing,
- 14:54Speaker 1: you're locked out, phone's dead, there's a warm car right there,
- 14:58Speaker 1: and the law would go, okay, but is that your vehicle?
- 15:03Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, no.
- 15:05Speaker 1: But what I would say if you did happen to
- 15:10Speaker 1: need to break into a car to save your life,
- 15:14Speaker 1: you'd probably have a pretty solid defense, and I think
- 15:17Speaker 1: most people would hear the story and go, you know what,
- 15:20Speaker 1: that checks out. I'm glad you're alive, but in the
- 15:24Speaker 1: moment you are standing there doing some legal math, freeze
- 15:27Speaker 1: to death or explain myself to a judge later, because
- 15:30Speaker 1: nothing says survival like following the rules while try not
- 15:35Speaker 1: to die. I will let you know right now, if
- 15:37Speaker 1: you are in a situation, a survival situation where you
- 15:40Speaker 1: need to get into my truck to save your own life,
- 15:44Speaker 1: I will not press charges. I will allow you to
- 15:46Speaker 1: do that, but do not touch my NSYNC CDs. Okay,
- 15:50Speaker 1: you leave those things alone. Would you break it? Would
- 15:54Speaker 1: you break into a car to save your life?
- 15:57Speaker 5: Like?
- 15:57Speaker 4: Now you know what?
- 15:57Speaker 3: I feel like you tailor made this for me today because.
- 16:01Speaker 4: You keep telling me that I need to be wearing
- 16:03Speaker 4: a jacket because what if something happens and I get
- 16:06Speaker 4: stranded outside in the freezing cold.
- 16:09Speaker 3: But you also know, Gabe, that I am a rule follower. Yeah,
- 16:13Speaker 3: and I don't like to break the rules. So what
- 16:17Speaker 3: a dilemma i'd be in.
- 16:18Speaker 2: You'd be doing legal math.
- 16:20Speaker 4: I would just freeze to death because I don't want
- 16:22Speaker 4: to have to explain myself.
- 16:29Speaker 1: So if you don't know this, I am very lucky
- 16:33Speaker 1: and going to be a parent coming up here sometime
- 16:36Speaker 1: this summer.
- 16:37Speaker 3: Yes, Gabe is gonna be a daddy.
- 16:40Speaker 1: Now, I don't know anything, and I mean we are
- 16:44Speaker 1: starting from the bottom of the barrel when it comes
- 16:47Speaker 1: to baby babies. You know, once they can kind of
- 16:50Speaker 1: open their eyes and move and crawl around and whatever.
- 16:53Speaker 1: I'm pretty I'm pretty solid there. I'm pretty locked in.
- 16:56Speaker 1: But I know zero about babies. So a I am
- 17:00Speaker 1: signing up for a class called the New Dad's Playbook,
- 17:03Speaker 1: and it's a class for a first time support person.
- 17:06Speaker 1: You can learn how to properly care for a newborn
- 17:08Speaker 1: and what to expect those first few days. I need
- 17:10Speaker 1: eighteen of these classes, if I'm being realistic, because the
- 17:13Speaker 1: chances of me doing well in the first one, well,
- 17:16Speaker 1: history shows not great, so I might need a refresher course.
- 17:19Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, you're so funny.
- 17:20Speaker 4: But I do think that this is a great opportunity
- 17:23Speaker 4: to ask for some advice. You're in a unique position
- 17:27Speaker 4: here where you can ask the fmiria that's right to
- 17:31Speaker 4: give you parenting advice. We did post this on the
- 17:33Speaker 4: Big ninety eight point seven Facebook page if you could
- 17:36Speaker 4: give Gabe one piece of parenting advice, what would it be?
- 17:41Speaker 4: And you can do that also right now seven one
- 17:43Speaker 4: two eight oh one to nine eight seven if you
- 17:44Speaker 4: have any advice for Gabe as he embarks on being
- 17:49Speaker 4: a father.
- 17:49Speaker 3: We got some excellent ones. So I'm gonna go through
- 17:52Speaker 3: and I'm going to.
- 17:53Speaker 4: Tell you some that are like more practical and some
- 17:56Speaker 4: that are more like emotional about fatherhood. So I love this,
- 18:03Speaker 4: Amy said, pajamas that zip from the bottom.
- 18:06Speaker 3: You'll thank me later.
- 18:08Speaker 2: This is so real, Gabee.
- 18:11Speaker 4: Yes, you see the babies and the cutie onesies, and
- 18:14Speaker 4: it's so much easier when you can just zip it up.
- 18:16Speaker 4: When there's a bunch of snaps, No, it is so
- 18:19Speaker 4: difficult because your baby.
- 18:21Speaker 3: This goes along with this.
- 18:22Speaker 4: Your baby will have hulk strength and you will be surprised,
- 18:27Speaker 4: but they have a strength unparalleled by anything else. And
- 18:31Speaker 4: so the quicker you can get their little arms and
- 18:34Speaker 4: legs into the onesie, the better, and snaps only hinders that.
- 18:38Speaker 1: So yes, and they're probably wiggling around and moving away
- 18:44Speaker 1: all right.
- 18:45Speaker 3: Also, your baby, this was from Sarah.
- 18:48Speaker 4: Your baby does not care about name brand items, especially
- 18:52Speaker 4: when they outgrow them.
- 18:53Speaker 3: Within months. This is too real. Babies are expensive.
- 18:57Speaker 4: It costs like I think the last I checked, and
- 18:59Speaker 4: this was maybe ten years ago, that it costs like
- 19:01Speaker 4: six hundred thousand dollars to raise a baby through being
- 19:05Speaker 4: eighteen years old. They do not need Nike anything when
- 19:08Speaker 4: they're two weeks old, and they will not be able
- 19:12Speaker 4: to fit it.
- 19:12Speaker 3: So don't do that.
- 19:14Speaker 2: Be a little more practical. Yes, I feel a.
- 19:15Speaker 4: Little bit more practical now. I like this that Dara said,
- 19:20Speaker 4: And this is just like more on a feeling level.
- 19:23Speaker 4: When you get frustrated, think to yourself that they will
- 19:26Speaker 4: only be this little once you reflect back on the
- 19:29Speaker 4: Oh I'm gonna cry, you reflect back on these days
- 19:33Speaker 4: in the future. The days will be long, but the
- 19:36Speaker 4: years are short. This is so real and I feel
- 19:39Speaker 4: so embarrassed right now that I can't pull it together.
- 19:42Speaker 2: I have two kids there.
- 19:44Speaker 3: You know, Aiden is fifteen and Liam is about to
- 19:47Speaker 3: be nine.
- 19:48Speaker 1: Well, hey, you can relive the babies with my baby exactly.
- 19:52Speaker 1: You'll get all the baby feels you need with mine
- 19:55Speaker 1: if you want. Angie, okay, so it'll be like you
- 19:57Speaker 1: know what I wish my puppy, my dog who's now
- 20:00Speaker 1: to something years old. It's just like there are times
- 20:03Speaker 1: I miss when she was a little land shark at
- 20:05Speaker 1: two months old and exploring the world for the first time.
- 20:08Speaker 2: Same thing, same thing. I have a little higher stakes
- 20:11Speaker 2: probably well yeah, but I.
- 20:13Speaker 4: Can't Oh my gosh, I can't wait to babysit and okay,
- 20:17Speaker 4: these ones. Take candid pics of mama and baby. Kayla said,
- 20:20Speaker 4: this is super important.
- 20:22Speaker 2: Oh I'm in trouble here.
- 20:23Speaker 5: No, you have to.
- 20:24Speaker 4: I look back on all and I feel like a
- 20:26Speaker 4: lot of moms are in this boat. You look back
- 20:29Speaker 4: and there's so.
- 20:30Speaker 3: Many pictures of the baby. There's so many pictures of
- 20:33Speaker 3: dad with the baby. But dad didn't think to take
- 20:36Speaker 3: any pictures of you with the baby.
- 20:38Speaker 4: So it looks like they were raised by a single
- 20:40Speaker 4: father and you are nowhere to be found. So take
- 20:43Speaker 4: candid pics of mama and baby. This one I fully
- 20:48Speaker 4: subscribed to. Tabitha said, never hesitate to apologize to your
- 20:52Speaker 4: child when necessary. We all make mistakes, and taking responsibility
- 20:55Speaker 4: for that teaches them humility. I literally had to apologize
- 20:59Speaker 4: to Aiden this morning because I yelled to him yesterday
- 21:01Speaker 4: over something that wasn't his fault. Always apologize when necessary
- 21:05Speaker 4: and This is the final one. This is from Micah. Okay,
- 21:09Speaker 4: I'm not a parent, but as a former baby, oh
- 21:12Speaker 4: first hand experience, make sure to secure your furniture to
- 21:15Speaker 4: the wall.
- 21:21Speaker 1: Valentine's Day is right around the corner. I think, what
- 21:25Speaker 1: in like three ish weeks? It's January twentieth. Yeah, yeah,
- 21:28Speaker 1: about three ish, a little over three weeks. If you
- 21:31Speaker 1: could give dating advice to single people, and first and foremost,
- 21:36Speaker 1: nothing wrong with being single. If that's what you're trying
- 21:38Speaker 1: to do, if that's how you want to live your life,
- 21:40Speaker 1: that is yeah, okay, you live your best life. But
- 21:44Speaker 1: if you are in a relationship and think, you know what,
- 21:47Speaker 1: I wish someone would have told me this when I
- 21:48Speaker 1: was single. We would like you to share it with
- 21:51Speaker 1: us here today seven oh one two eight zero one
- 21:54Speaker 1: nine eight seven, Angie, if you could rememb number one
- 22:00Speaker 1: thing of when you were single, and you're like, I
- 22:03Speaker 1: wish someone would have told me that, or I wish
- 22:04Speaker 1: I would have thought about that or looked at something
- 22:07Speaker 1: like this way instead of that way.
- 22:09Speaker 2: Yeah, what advice would you have given?
- 22:11Speaker 4: Uh?
- 22:11Speaker 2: I guess your single self.
- 22:13Speaker 4: If you have to wonder if he's into you, he's not,
- 22:18Speaker 4: he's not into you, if you have to try and think, well,
- 22:21Speaker 4: what does this mean to he's not into you. A
- 22:24Speaker 4: guy who is into you will make it abundantly clear
- 22:28Speaker 4: that he is into you.
- 22:29Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 22:29Speaker 1: Now, fellas that advice would go the exact opposite way
- 22:32Speaker 1: if she's not just kidding.
- 22:35Speaker 2: Yeah, I like that. That's great advice.
- 22:37Speaker 1: I think most people genuinely, when they are into someone
- 22:41Speaker 1: and they're thinking about them and want to talk to
- 22:43Speaker 1: them or respond to taw, they usually.
- 22:46Speaker 3: Do Yeah, exactly.
- 22:48Speaker 4: And I've been in relationships where I mean I really
- 22:51Speaker 4: forced the issue and they liked me kind of but
- 22:54Speaker 4: not really and it was a waste of my time. Yeah.
- 22:57Speaker 4: And then the guy who like really made it clear
- 23:00Speaker 4: that he likes me. Well we live together, so yeah.
- 23:03Speaker 1: Yeah, And that's also great advice too. Don't be afraid
- 23:05Speaker 1: to just call something quits and move on to potentially
- 23:08Speaker 1: something else.
- 23:09Speaker 3: Oh my gosh.
- 23:09Speaker 2: Don't get to sit and force an issue. That's great
- 23:11Speaker 2: advice too.
- 23:12Speaker 4: It's that sunken cost fallacy when you put so much
- 23:15Speaker 4: into something so you think it's worth it.
- 23:17Speaker 3: No, No, it's not. Get out.
- 23:19Speaker 2: Yes, and we do have Jack on the phone.
- 23:22Speaker 4: Jack.
- 23:22Speaker 1: If you were to give advice to single people maybe
- 23:25Speaker 1: in twenty twenty six they're looking for a Valentine, or
- 23:28Speaker 1: they're getting back into the dating world.
- 23:30Speaker 2: They think they're ready this year. What would that advice be, Man.
- 23:33Speaker 5: It's pretty simple.
- 23:34Speaker 2: Just don't settle.
- 23:35Speaker 1: Wait for your person.
- 23:36Speaker 4: It might take a little while, but it'll be worth it.
- 23:39Speaker 5: In the end.
- 23:39Speaker 2: That's good advice. Patience is key.
- 23:41Speaker 3: Do not settle.
- 23:43Speaker 2: That is so real.
- 23:44Speaker 1: Yeah, I would have two, and one of these is
- 23:46Speaker 1: maybe gonna sound bad, And I don't mean it to
- 23:48Speaker 1: sound bad.
- 23:49Speaker 2: I'm not saying great.
- 23:51Speaker 1: I'm not saying mess with people's feelings or emotions, okay.
- 23:55Speaker 2: And it's kind of like cast a wide net.
- 23:58Speaker 1: Okay, you can go on fun, harmless dates with multiple people,
- 24:04Speaker 1: but once you are genuinely liking someone, obviously you need
- 24:09Speaker 1: to put all the other stuff aside. Talking to whatever
- 24:12Speaker 1: I'm saying, just because you go on with some one
- 24:14Speaker 1: date with some guy you met on tender, you're not together, Okay,
- 24:17Speaker 1: you can go out with the other guy from work
- 24:20Speaker 1: who asks you or whatever the case. Me like, yeah,
- 24:23Speaker 1: you know, it's it's a numbers game at the end
- 24:26Speaker 1: of the day, which sounds terrible. But the more dates
- 24:29Speaker 1: you go on, maybe the more you learn about yourself,
- 24:31Speaker 1: what you're looking for, what you're not looking for. That's
- 24:34Speaker 1: what I'm trying to say. I'm not saying go out
- 24:35Speaker 1: and try to date five people at the same time. Seriously,
- 24:38Speaker 1: that's a horrible thing to do to other people's feelings,
- 24:39Speaker 1: So don't do that. And then I would also suggest
- 24:42Speaker 1: it's like, I don't know what I'm trying to say,
- 24:44Speaker 1: but date to learn, not date to win. You don't
- 24:47Speaker 1: have to date to find the one, per se. You
- 24:50Speaker 1: could just be dating to learn things about yourself and
- 24:53Speaker 1: learn things that you want someone else to have or
- 24:56Speaker 1: qualities that other people possess.
- 24:59Speaker 3: I am so s s prized that you have that take,
- 25:02Speaker 3: and I don't know if that's a dig at you
- 25:04Speaker 3: are not well.
- 25:06Speaker 1: Maybe Tammy can turn this ship around here, Tammy, what
- 25:09Speaker 1: dating advice would you give to single people? Date like
- 25:12Speaker 1: you're curious and not desperate.
- 25:14Speaker 4: The minute I stopped treating every date like a potential
- 25:17Speaker 4: husband interview.
- 25:18Speaker 5: And more life, Yeah, let me learn a human then
- 25:21Speaker 5: everything got easier.
- 25:22Speaker 2: Also, if they're confusing in week one, then there're going
- 25:26Speaker 2: to be a nightmare in month three.
- 25:29Speaker 4: I feel like Tammy sums up our dating advice really well.
- 25:33Speaker 2: Tammy just won this morning a big ninety eight point seven.
- 25:41Speaker 5: Starting off the day with something good. This is Gabe's
- 25:45Speaker 5: good news on Big ninety eight point seven.
- 25:49Speaker 1: Dan Backland he is not from North Dakota, but he's
- 25:52Speaker 1: from South Dakota, our neighbors to the south.
- 25:54Speaker 2: Here.
- 25:55Speaker 1: He received a life saving kidney transplant from his nephew
- 25:59Speaker 1: Dog in April of twenty twenty four, after facing declining
- 26:04Speaker 1: kidney function and the possibility of dialysis. The pair recently
- 26:08Speaker 1: shared their story at a Mitchell Lyons Club meeting, recounting
- 26:13Speaker 1: the extensive testing, emotional ups and downs, and delayed surgery
- 26:17Speaker 1: before doctors ultimately cleared both of these men. Doug, who's
- 26:21Speaker 1: forty one, he underwent surgery at the Mayo Clinic after
- 26:23Speaker 1: being told the odds of being a match were extremely small.
- 26:26Speaker 3: Oh wow.
- 26:27Speaker 1: Both uncle and nephew have recovered well, with Dan now
- 26:31Speaker 1: living with three kidneys and Doug with one. The transplant
- 26:35Speaker 1: has given Dan renewed health, a surprise, new craving for
- 26:39Speaker 1: green olives, and more time to enjoy his four grandchildren,
- 26:43Speaker 1: while Doug views the donation simply as a gift to.
- 26:46Speaker 3: Family that was such a big smile on my face.
- 26:49Speaker 1: Yeah, there was a point in their interview where the
- 26:52Speaker 1: man who received the kidney, Dan, He talks about Yeah,
- 26:56Speaker 1: all of a sudden, I like olives. It's very funny
- 26:58Speaker 1: that doug allis well.
- 27:01Speaker 2: Now you have me to thank for that.
- 27:03Speaker 1: So who knows if that's true, but it was just,
- 27:05Speaker 1: you know, a cute part of that story. The world
- 27:08Speaker 1: is full of nice people. If you can't find one,
- 27:11Speaker 1: you gotta be one, even if there are neighbors to
- 27:14Speaker 1: the south,
