- 0:01Speaker 1: Hello, Welcome to Jason Newland dot com. My name is
- 0:09Speaker 1: Jason Newland.
- 0:12Speaker 2: This is this let me boy to sleep, Whisper Wednesday
- 0:25Speaker 2: and Finny.
- 0:27Speaker 1: As soon as I start doing his recording, he's up
- 0:29Speaker 1: and awake. He was fast to sleep about thirty seconds ago.
- 0:38Speaker 1: I think he just wants a bit of a cuddle.
- 0:44Speaker 1: So to say hello to everyone, A big special hello
- 0:48Speaker 1: to Ben, who is the only person I know that
- 0:53Speaker 1: likes the Whisper Wednesdays Wednesday Whisper whatever this is, I say,
- 0:58Speaker 1: the only person I know that likes They do get
- 1:03Speaker 1: listened to by lots of people, but just you know,
- 1:08Speaker 1: I mean I know that. Hi, Ben, That's what I'm saying.
- 1:11Speaker 1: Is high Vinnie slo to Ben. He said hi as well,
- 1:20Speaker 1: actually said no, I don't have to do what you
- 1:22Speaker 1: tell me. He's very rude. So today's Wednesday. I've got
- 1:34Speaker 1: no one do they were? The date is? I think
- 1:38Speaker 1: it's the eleventh of June twenty twenty five. I was
- 1:49Speaker 1: thinking about doing this recording, but I was watching something
- 1:54Speaker 1: on TV and then there was this massive sound outside
- 2:00Speaker 1: because I had the window open, and I thought it's
- 2:05Speaker 1: the lawn mower men just cutting the lawn, which means
- 2:11Speaker 1: it's loud, but it doesn't last long. But it seemed
- 2:18Speaker 1: to be lasting a little bit longer than normal because
- 2:24Speaker 1: the communal garden air is very small. It doesn't take
- 2:31Speaker 1: more than probably five minutes for them to come. And
- 2:41Speaker 1: then they started to start to hear a Revin like
- 2:44Speaker 1: where has my impression of a raven? And I realized
- 2:48Speaker 1: there was a motorbike over the fence, so I had
- 2:55Speaker 1: to close the window because it was way too loud.
- 2:59Speaker 1: But when as the window, the motorbike stopped, and now
- 3:06Speaker 1: I can just hear loads of voices. So I'm going
- 3:12Speaker 1: to continue making this recording, even though literally as we speak,
- 3:20Speaker 1: I heard the person's trying to start the motorbike again.
- 3:29Speaker 1: It's just yeah, it's not it's very loud. It's very
- 3:37Speaker 1: very loud. I might just continue talking anyway, because you
- 3:45Speaker 1: may not help. It might not be very loud on
- 3:47Speaker 1: the microphone because he's literally outside over the fence and
- 4:00Speaker 1: you might not hear it, or it might be very faint.
- 4:04Speaker 1: I can hear it, well, I can't hear it now
- 4:09Speaker 1: because it's not it's not going. But anyway, oh yeah,
- 4:15Speaker 1: please only listen when you can safely close your eyes.
- 4:22Speaker 1: It's times like this that I that I feel glad
- 4:28Speaker 1: that yesterday I actually made use of the day and
- 4:37Speaker 1: made some recordings. Because a day when there's a motorbike
- 4:44Speaker 1: being reved all day long, which has happened while for
- 4:48Speaker 1: a few hours anyway, it's I just find it distracted
- 4:56Speaker 1: to make a recording. I mean, I can't make any
- 5:00Speaker 1: kind of hypnosis and stuff like that. But yesterday added
- 5:08Speaker 1: to a couple of new recordings as well as the
- 5:14Speaker 1: Drivia Tuesday. This is Whisper Wednesday, Wednesday whispers Whisper Wednesday,
- 5:22Speaker 1: isn't it. I'm trying to trying to stick to the
- 5:27Speaker 1: routine of Monday's boring objects, Trivia Tuesday, Whisper Wednesday, and
- 5:39Speaker 1: Q and A Friday. So that's four four days when
- 5:45Speaker 1: it's like a regular type of recording. So I do try.
- 5:52Speaker 1: I am trying, not very hard, but very minimally giving
- 5:58Speaker 1: it a go. Oh yeah, oh yeah. I found a
- 6:05Speaker 1: new way and some exercise. I came using the word
- 6:10Speaker 1: exercise very flimsily, but took my little one out three
- 6:18Speaker 1: for a W A L K and I and he
- 6:25Speaker 1: started pulling me towards the bridge. So I got this
- 6:31Speaker 1: railway bridge and it's not even really used. I think
- 6:36Speaker 1: it was originally built because they were going to be
- 6:38Speaker 1: building a railway station there, and they never built the
- 6:41Speaker 1: railway station, but they put a brand new bridge in.
- 6:46Speaker 1: It's one of those really nice bridges. I'd say, really
- 6:50Speaker 1: nice bridges. I mean, you might not be into bridges,
- 6:53Speaker 1: but it's like metal and there's steps coming up. Also
- 6:58Speaker 1: i'd be cramp as well. So you foot on a
- 7:02Speaker 1: bike or in a wheelchair you can get access. And
- 7:10Speaker 1: it's a big, old, big old bridge. And for some reason,
- 7:16Speaker 1: Venue was just trying to take me. I just wanted
- 7:20Speaker 1: to take me away from I think what it is
- 7:23Speaker 1: he gets bored being in the same little park every day.
- 7:30Speaker 1: He wants to go for a walk and explore other places.
- 7:37Speaker 1: So I just let him lead me the way. I
- 7:39Speaker 1: just sometimes I will do that. I'll just follow him
- 7:45Speaker 1: or as my own friend, and I used to say folly.
- 7:48Speaker 1: I used to follow him, follow folly. And he led
- 7:56Speaker 1: me to the the bridge and he started trying to
- 8:03Speaker 1: walk up the the ramp bit and I pulled him
- 8:08Speaker 1: away and said no, And then he walked and he
- 8:11Speaker 1: tried to cut the steps. So I thought, well, he
- 8:15Speaker 1: clearly wants to go up here, so I just followed
- 8:18Speaker 1: him up the steps. He walked across the bridge, and
- 8:27Speaker 1: then I think we went down the ramp. No, we
- 8:31Speaker 1: went down the steps, and then he wanted to walk
- 8:40Speaker 1: further away, which would be leading us pretty much to nowhere, really,
- 8:48Speaker 1: and I thought, no, but he clearly wants to have
- 8:57Speaker 1: a good walk, and I need a walk. I need
- 9:00Speaker 1: to I get out walking, but I don't. I don't
- 9:06Speaker 1: walk any kind of real distance, not really. I don't
- 9:12Speaker 1: think I get my ten thousand steps a day. I
- 9:16Speaker 1: get a few thousand, but I don't think ten thousand.
- 9:20Speaker 1: Maybe I do, but I doubt it. I've never counted them.
- 9:26Speaker 1: It's quite hard, though, isn't if you count your steps
- 9:29Speaker 1: and then another dog walker says, hello, what am I
- 9:34Speaker 1: supposed to do? Is a wait a second? Let me
- 9:37Speaker 1: just write down the steps that I've done so far.
- 9:43Speaker 1: It's I think there's a catchy. You can get a
- 9:49Speaker 1: step counter. There used to be this thing that you
- 9:57Speaker 1: could use, which it basically it was like a wheel
- 10:04Speaker 1: and you put it on the ground and you walked
- 10:08Speaker 1: with it, pushing it, and it measured the distance that
- 10:11Speaker 1: you went. And I used to use I used to
- 10:19Speaker 1: I used to have one of them, and I'd use
- 10:21Speaker 1: it sometimes in London because I wanted to see how
- 10:24Speaker 1: far it walked. It was very weird looks, but you can't. Yeah,
- 10:30Speaker 1: apparently there's I think the step o meter things is
- 10:36Speaker 1: just because you shake so literally. You could just, I
- 10:44Speaker 1: don't know, stand on one of those shaky machines and
- 10:50Speaker 1: it looks like you've walked for miles when in fact
- 10:54Speaker 1: you haven't done anything. Or you could bounce on a
- 10:58Speaker 1: bouncy castle. That would be exercise as well, wouldn't it. Yeah,
- 11:09Speaker 1: I wonder if it registers steps on the Moon. I
- 11:14Speaker 1: don't mean we're not walking, I mean somebody that was
- 11:19Speaker 1: on the moon. But then I suppose because it's so advanced,
- 11:26Speaker 1: isn't it or the technology that they probably are registering
- 11:33Speaker 1: the distance did the astronauts are traveling anyway, and how
- 11:38Speaker 1: many steps they take. Plus they don't have to make
- 11:42Speaker 1: as many steps today because they're almost being bulled into space,
- 11:49Speaker 1: but the heavy boots keep them down, which I never understood.
- 11:54Speaker 1: How heavy are those shoes? Wouldn't it make more sense
- 12:04Speaker 1: right because if the shoes are really really heavy, because
- 12:09Speaker 1: you imagine if we didn't have any gravity on this planet,
- 12:14Speaker 1: we would just end up in the sky. How heavy
- 12:18Speaker 1: would we have to have How heavy would our shoes
- 12:22Speaker 1: have to be to keep us stuck to the ground.
- 12:26Speaker 1: Because I've seen movies where no gravity and things cars
- 12:35Speaker 1: are just being pulled up into the air because there's
- 12:39Speaker 1: no gravity. Okay, it's a movie. But if that's the case,
- 12:45Speaker 1: does that mean that the astronauts shoes, slippers or boots whatever, boots.
- 12:53Speaker 1: I guess the astronauts boots, well into boots are heavier
- 12:59Speaker 1: than a car. So if that's the case, then that's
- 13:07Speaker 1: gotta be part of reason why it's so hard to
- 13:14Speaker 1: get into space, because it's not so much getting through
- 13:18Speaker 1: the atmosphere. The rocket is the weight of those shoes,
- 13:26Speaker 1: the astronauts' shoes. So when it makes sense if they
- 13:30Speaker 1: just add a little I don't know, on the Moon
- 13:36Speaker 1: or on the space station, a shoe couped or something
- 13:44Speaker 1: where they can just leave the shoes there so they
- 13:47Speaker 1: could wear slippers or crocs going up and then when
- 13:52Speaker 1: they get there they can put on and slip into
- 13:55Speaker 1: their astronaut wellies. They were really heavy, they might end
- 14:04Speaker 1: up using a lot less fuel. They might get that quicker.
- 14:12Speaker 1: I might have just solved a big issue. See, it's
- 14:19Speaker 1: amazing what you can do and you're not even trying.
- 14:29Speaker 1: That's the problem. But I bet you're not one astronaut
- 14:33Speaker 1: or not one astro physicist or the scientist is listening
- 14:42Speaker 1: to this, because if they were, this could change the
- 14:47Speaker 1: whole the whole landscape of space travel. In fact, it
- 14:56Speaker 1: could be the break needed that could bridge. Got back
- 15:02Speaker 1: to the talking about bridges, could bridge towards further exploration
- 15:12Speaker 1: because it'd be able to get in and out of
- 15:15Speaker 1: space a lot quicker. And they could just start to
- 15:20Speaker 1: store stuff in space, on the space station or on
- 15:24Speaker 1: the Moon and have that as a like a fuck
- 15:27Speaker 1: a lock up, you know, like an old lockup just
- 15:32Speaker 1: keeps their spare stuff in there. Well, they could even
- 15:36Speaker 1: open shops up, really, but I guess that's more for
- 15:39Speaker 1: the future, like a shoe shop. And helmets. Do they
- 15:48Speaker 1: need their helmet on when they're traveling up again, I'm
- 15:53Speaker 1: not sure. I thought the container though in was pressurized,
- 16:00Speaker 1: which meant they'll be able to breathe. I might be wrong.
- 16:07Speaker 1: What they could do is fill you know, the airbags
- 16:13Speaker 1: that they have on their back, which gives them oxygen.
- 16:17Speaker 1: Why not fill them with oxygen, like thousands of them,
- 16:23Speaker 1: and just keep taking them into space so that eventually
- 16:29Speaker 1: we have unlimited supply of oxygen up there. But I
- 16:37Speaker 1: don't know would that run out the oxygen in this
- 16:40Speaker 1: world we kept filling. If you kept filling an oxygen
- 16:46Speaker 1: tank up from oxygen the air, and you did that,
- 16:51Speaker 1: you got millions and billions and millions of them with
- 16:55Speaker 1: the oxygen right now. And another thing is that was
- 17:01Speaker 1: the life or you know, the life span of oxygen.
- 17:08Speaker 1: Does he go off after a few years? Does he
- 17:12Speaker 1: go malty? Because I used to think that soup tense
- 17:18Speaker 1: soup lasts forever. I remember seeing these again. I'm not
- 17:29Speaker 1: sure if there were documentaries or if there are movies
- 17:31Speaker 1: or TV shows where people would be climbing up and
- 17:36Speaker 1: mountain and they get to a shack or some kind
- 17:40Speaker 1: of wooden the house and it'd be a cellar, or
- 17:48Speaker 1: it'd be like like we have lots of food and stuff,
- 17:51Speaker 1: but all tinned food, because bananas don't last long on
- 17:56Speaker 1: a mountain. It's but they go there and the last
- 18:03Speaker 1: time anyone was there was like one hundred years ago,
- 18:08Speaker 1: because someone wrote in the book, I was here one
- 18:13Speaker 1: hundred years ago. Or I don't know, whatever, and they'd
- 18:19Speaker 1: open up the food in the tin and they'd eat
- 18:22Speaker 1: it and it'd be all y y yum, yum yum.
- 18:26Speaker 1: Mind you, cat food would taste amazing if you hadn't
- 18:32Speaker 1: eaten for five days, wouldn't it. It would be the
- 18:35Speaker 1: most delicious thing you'd ever eat it. And it tastes
- 18:41Speaker 1: even better if you didn't know his cat food. So
- 18:44Speaker 1: don't present it in a cat food bowl. Probably not
- 18:49Speaker 1: that you're can present it. I mean, if someone's hungry
- 18:54Speaker 1: and you give us some food and they haven't eaten
- 18:56Speaker 1: for days, you're not gonna be worried about present day.
- 19:01Speaker 1: I suppose you just they'd probably be happy just to
- 19:05Speaker 1: eat it out of the tin. What I used to
- 19:12Speaker 1: think the all tins lasted like forever, I say forever,
- 19:21Speaker 1: maybe not thousands of years, but just a long long
- 19:25Speaker 1: time because they were air tight and they were built
- 19:30Speaker 1: to last. Well, let me tell you the tins are
- 19:34Speaker 1: today are not built to last. I had some tins
- 19:40Speaker 1: of soup and they were good ones like Hines. They weren't,
- 19:46Speaker 1: you know, they weren't like Little Iron Brand. Not did
- 19:50Speaker 1: it's anything wrong with a Little Iron Brand. I'm just
- 19:55Speaker 1: saying it was heines the most I would say, probably
- 19:59Speaker 1: the most faith miss soup maker in this country anyway,
- 20:06Speaker 1: heinz tomato soup and most people, even if they don't,
- 20:14Speaker 1: I have soup. I nearly said, eat soup. But soup
- 20:17Speaker 1: is eating. It's drunk, isn't it. Even if it's got
- 20:22Speaker 1: vegetables in and stuff. It's just lumpy water, lumpy flavored water.
- 20:27Speaker 1: That's what it is. It's not a meal at best,
- 20:31Speaker 1: It's a starter's Did I ever tell you about the
- 20:36Speaker 1: day I went on and she said, would you like
- 20:42Speaker 1: some lunch before we go out? And I thought, oh yeah.
- 20:47Speaker 1: She gave me soup and one piece of bread. I
- 20:54Speaker 1: was like, what am I? Is this a day or
- 20:59Speaker 1: is this my first stay in prison? I mean, what,
- 21:01Speaker 1: what the heck? I'm literally I get a better fed
- 21:05Speaker 1: in prison. That was what was going on. Those are
- 21:12Speaker 1: the days where my belly didn't enjoy soup. I needed food.
- 21:19Speaker 1: The same thing happened when I visited my dad my
- 21:23Speaker 1: step mom, and this was I think it was December
- 21:34Speaker 1: two thousand and eleven, December two thousand and eleven, and
- 21:43Speaker 1: I just wanted to tell them because I'd just been
- 21:46Speaker 1: diagnosed with bipolar, and I wanted to tell them because
- 21:50Speaker 1: it was I don't know, it just seemed like the
- 21:53Speaker 1: right thing to let them know. I think when my dad,
- 21:57Speaker 1: well maybe both of them looked at each other like
- 22:00Speaker 1: that explains it. But what I remember about that meeting
- 22:08Speaker 1: is with me in this restaurant cafe. Place had soup, soup.
- 22:17Speaker 1: I had no money, so I can they paid for
- 22:20Speaker 1: the meal and they had soup. In fact, I'm pretty
- 22:27Speaker 1: sort of conversations, should we just all had some soup.
- 22:31Speaker 1: I'm like, I thought they were joking soup. We could
- 22:36Speaker 1: have done that at home. I don't know why I'm
- 22:41Speaker 1: focused on soup today. I just I like soup. I'm
- 22:46Speaker 1: not prejudiced against soup. I'm not, you know.
- 22:54Speaker 3: I do like.
- 22:57Speaker 1: Chicken soup, like cream cream of chicken or I don't know, creamy,
- 23:03Speaker 1: that's nice. I'm not so beef broth, non not so
- 23:08Speaker 1: much vegetable soup. Okay, tomato soup and ticks the boxes
- 23:15Speaker 1: for me. But it's not a meal. It's not a meal.
- 23:26Speaker 1: Or they're thinking about it. Maybe I'm going to start
- 23:29Speaker 1: it's weird. It's now start off moaning about soup. Now
- 23:32Speaker 1: starting to think I'd quite like a nice bowl of soup.
- 23:37Speaker 1: What a strange brain.
- 23:39Speaker 4: I have.
- 23:42Speaker 1: A nice bowl of soup and a few, maybe two
- 23:45Speaker 1: or three slices of toast. It seemed like a real
- 23:49Speaker 1: yummy thing. But I don't. I don't have any soup
- 23:53Speaker 1: I did. That's what I'm telling the story. I had
- 23:56Speaker 1: some soup.
- 23:58Speaker 3: O can't.
- 23:58Speaker 1: That's the pointers. They're supposed to last a long time.
- 24:06Speaker 1: I went into the cupboard and next to.
- 24:09Speaker 5: The cooker on the left hand side, underneath. I don't
- 24:15Speaker 5: go in thatck cupboard really ever, and I went in there.
- 24:20Speaker 1: Just to look what's in there. The colden tins of
- 24:26Speaker 1: soup bour in there, so I went to pick one
- 24:28Speaker 1: up and it was empty, while it also leaked, so
- 24:36Speaker 1: basically all the soup cans had disintegrated to the point
- 24:45Speaker 1: where the lids came off, the contents leaked out and
- 24:51Speaker 1: also disintegrated. There was no smell or anything. It's just
- 24:57Speaker 1: it'd been there for maybe six years, seven year years,
- 25:03Speaker 1: completely destroyed. And the ironic thing is, on that particular day,
- 25:11Speaker 1: really fenceed a bowl of soup. I remember thinking, why
- 25:18Speaker 1: don't I drink more soup? I really used to like soup,
- 25:24Speaker 1: which I did, but I was a kid back then,
- 25:32Speaker 1: and I used to get soup whenever I was a
- 25:34Speaker 1: little bit bally. Maybe i'd coloring from school or maybe
- 25:37Speaker 1: half the day off, and I remember sitting at the table.
- 25:42Speaker 1: My stepmom would be looking after me, and she'd make
- 25:45Speaker 1: me some soup and I'd watch Sesame Street on television,
- 25:52Speaker 1: because I think Sesame Street used to be on about
- 25:55Speaker 1: midday and it was great color. Bits of toast. A
- 26:05Speaker 1: cup of tea as well. Though that was a bit
- 26:07Speaker 1: weird because it feels like you have a liquid drink
- 26:13Speaker 1: with solid food. It almost felt like I should be
- 26:16Speaker 1: hearing some kind of solid drink, maybe an icicle or something.
- 26:25Speaker 1: I don't know. You can only get solid drinks ken you,
- 26:30Speaker 1: other than a slushy. Maybe that's quite solid. I'm not
- 26:35Speaker 1: sure that would fit together with soup, though what soup.
- 26:43Speaker 1: I suppose. I feel a little bit nostalgic towards some
- 26:46Speaker 1: of those times because I got to spend time with
- 26:52Speaker 1: my stepmom.
- 26:53Speaker 4: With me and.
- 26:57Speaker 1: No one else. There was just nice, quite a piece
- 27:00Speaker 1: for no arguments, you know, And I'm just like, I
- 27:04Speaker 1: didn't be soup. It's weird how quickly soup cools down
- 27:13Speaker 1: and you think like it can be like super boiling
- 27:17Speaker 1: hot and you put the spoon in because the spoon
- 27:20Speaker 1: is metal, it conducts the heat. I think that might be,
- 27:25Speaker 1: you know, but the spoon's very hot and you're not
- 27:28Speaker 1: blowing on the spooner and then the soups squirting off
- 27:37Speaker 1: the spoon. It depends how hard you blow it. Guess
- 27:41Speaker 1: could just like spray over everyone else at the table.
- 27:43Speaker 1: But or you make a little dent in it, don't
- 27:47Speaker 1: you almost like if you mind? Are you used to
- 27:52Speaker 1: do these? I used to try because I have a
- 27:55Speaker 1: spoon and look at it, I'd fill it with soup
- 27:58Speaker 1: and I'll try and blow it. So they had parted
- 28:01Speaker 1: in the middle a bit like Moses, did you know
- 28:04Speaker 1: with the ritzy and I just pretend, you know, to
- 28:12Speaker 1: hear music, pretend to hear music. Sometimes I would hear
- 28:16Speaker 1: music if music was being played. So yeah, tomato soup
- 28:27Speaker 1: or any kind of soup would be an opportunity to
- 28:34Speaker 1: reenact the Moses scene from the Bible. I'm sure I'm
- 28:40Speaker 1: not the only one that did that. So that was
- 28:48Speaker 1: pretty good special effects considering the movie was like the sixties,
- 28:58Speaker 1: the Moses pion this I think I don't know if
- 29:03Speaker 1: it was just the Bible was the movie there was
- 29:08Speaker 1: another one, the greatest story ever told. Maybe it was
- 29:13Speaker 1: actually called Moses. But yeah, that scene where they're walking
- 29:23Speaker 1: across the sea and all the se the sea wall
- 29:29Speaker 1: is kind of just splashing, But it's not. That's the
- 29:32Speaker 1: weird thing about it. That's the It didn't seem realistic
- 29:39Speaker 1: in one sense, because if you had the sea parted
- 29:44Speaker 1: and you're walking down and there's a bigger wall and both,
- 29:49Speaker 1: you know there'd be some splash back. When not one splash,
- 29:59Speaker 1: they just water along knowing, you know, you'd think they'd
- 30:03Speaker 1: be a I mean, you wouldn't moan about a little
- 30:06Speaker 1: a few splashes. You know, you can't get to the
- 30:09Speaker 1: other side. And Moses would be fitting pretty proud of them,
- 30:13Speaker 1: so probably, and everyone's saying, oh, well done, Moses. And
- 30:18Speaker 1: one person says, oh, actually, my shoes are ruined. That's
- 30:27Speaker 1: another thing, isn't it. I have I have to clean
- 30:32Speaker 1: my glasses because I'm all the splash back from the water.
- 30:38Speaker 1: When they walked across, the ground was dry. Now the
- 30:42Speaker 1: ground would be wet, wouldn't it be muddy? I know
- 30:47Speaker 1: it's just details, but you know, maybe that's not the
- 30:55Speaker 1: most unrealistic part of the whole story.
- 30:58Speaker 6: Maybe hmm.
- 31:04Speaker 1: So we're walking over this bridge, and I thought to myself,
- 31:10Speaker 1: this is quite a distance, really walking over, going down
- 31:19Speaker 1: the steps, walking all the way back the long ramp,
- 31:27Speaker 1: back to the bridge again, crossing over, walking down the steps,
- 31:35Speaker 1: then walking up then the other ramp on the other side,
- 31:38Speaker 1: which is like up one end and then back again.
- 31:42Speaker 1: Says I thought, you know, if I started doing that,
- 31:48Speaker 1: maybe did that ten times a day. I don't mean
- 31:52Speaker 1: going up there ten times and walking over it once.
- 31:57Speaker 7: More.
- 31:58Speaker 1: Maybe mhm, go in there once and doing it ten times,
- 32:08Speaker 1: maybe twice and doing it five times. Oh, I could
- 32:18Speaker 1: carry it five times and do it twice. I could
- 32:26Speaker 1: go there three times and do it three three times
- 32:33Speaker 1: three six Oh no, I could do it three in
- 32:37Speaker 1: a bit. Or I could do it three times and
- 32:46Speaker 1: on every third day do an extra time, maybe do
- 32:49Speaker 1: a fourth that makes sense. Three six nine, No, wait
- 33:00Speaker 1: in it three six nine, three six nine No, every
- 33:06Speaker 1: other day to no three six nine, So nine nine
- 33:16Speaker 1: nine nine nine nine nine nine nine. So that'll be
- 33:19Speaker 1: ten days. It'd be ninety instead of one hundred. So
- 33:25Speaker 1: on the tenth day I could do twenty or on
- 33:33Speaker 1: the fifth day, do fifteen and not twentieth day to fifteen.
- 33:42Speaker 1: Would you mean it would be the quiner doing ten
- 33:44Speaker 1: a day. I think I'm not sure if it's really
- 33:51Speaker 1: necessary to get too bogged down in specifics regarding how
- 34:01Speaker 1: many times I is to walk over it. But I
- 34:05Speaker 1: thought maybe that would be useful to get a little
- 34:11Speaker 1: bit more exercise and you know, get out. Plus, it's
- 34:18Speaker 1: not really anyone around. There are people around, but not much.
- 34:27Speaker 1: And the whole the whole way up and down, it's
- 34:31Speaker 1: up the ramp and across the bridge is all it's
- 34:36Speaker 1: got sight starhle way, Sovin he can't wonder off. He
- 34:40Speaker 1: kind of can only go one way or go backwards
- 34:46Speaker 1: or stop, which he likes to stop. He just likes
- 34:51Speaker 1: to do the opposite to what I want him to do.
- 34:55Speaker 1: Earlier today we went into the park and a the
- 35:00Speaker 1: thing he did was he stole another dog's ball, Amber's
- 35:04Speaker 1: ball that sent the name of the dog. He would
- 35:09Speaker 1: not let it go and the ball was too big
- 35:13Speaker 1: for his mouth. It was huge, but he loved it.
- 35:19Speaker 1: He fell in love with his ball. It's almost like
- 35:21Speaker 1: he was the most precious item in the whole world.
- 35:28Speaker 1: I literally had to pick him up and price it
- 35:31Speaker 1: out of his mouth so I could give it back
- 35:34Speaker 1: to the dog. He didn't want to give it back.
- 35:39Speaker 1: There was one point, right, I kind of picked him
- 35:43Speaker 1: up a little bit to get it out of his mouth,
- 35:45Speaker 1: and he wouldn't let it go, so I started message
- 35:48Speaker 1: in his hands. Now he does not let me do
- 35:53Speaker 1: that ever, without growling and snapping. Doesn't like me doing that.
- 36:02Speaker 1: By this occasion, he couldn't do anything because this ball
- 36:04Speaker 1: was in his mouth. So I'm thinking next hour, the
- 36:09Speaker 1: next time I want to cut his toenails. I'm just
- 36:14Speaker 1: going to stick a ball, get him to hold the ball,
- 36:17Speaker 1: and then he won't be right I want to do maybe.
- 36:26Speaker 1: I think it's good though, because he needs to spend
- 36:28Speaker 1: more time walking on the pavement, because his toenails do
- 36:32Speaker 1: need to get trimmed a little bit. They're not long,
- 36:36Speaker 1: but they're not sure either. That's weird. The feet, his
- 36:42Speaker 1: feet toenails are always sure, but his finger donails or
- 36:47Speaker 1: his toetoel, his toe toenails, his finger toenails, his fingernails
- 36:53Speaker 1: are longer than his toenails. And it's not like he's
- 37:02Speaker 1: walking sideways to his feet or on the pavement and
- 37:07Speaker 1: his hands are on the grass. You know, that would
- 37:10Speaker 1: make sense, and you know if that's why there are
- 37:13Speaker 1: different lengths, but no, normally he does running forward and
- 37:19Speaker 1: he's see if on the path where he's on the
- 37:22Speaker 1: grass or in the mud or wherever. Although he does
- 37:28Speaker 1: love running into the long grass. It's this thing. I
- 37:34Speaker 1: don't know if other parts of the country to it,
- 37:37Speaker 1: or other parts of the world to do this. The
- 37:40Speaker 1: council a ordered the lord mower, people who cut the
- 37:48Speaker 1: grass in the park, to leave certain areas wild. When
- 37:55Speaker 1: I say wild, I don't mean angry, you know, just
- 38:00Speaker 1: walking up to that bit of grass and teasing it
- 38:04Speaker 1: just is dead. Leaving it and not cutting it. So
- 38:09Speaker 1: it's something about well, you encouraging wildlife and then after
- 38:21Speaker 1: about a year they cut it. Another dog walker pointed out, well,
- 38:30Speaker 1: first of all, I don't think it's a huge amount
- 38:33Speaker 1: of wildlife. Maybe there is insects and stuff. That's definitely true,
- 38:38Speaker 1: because those grass flea things they can go on to
- 38:47Speaker 1: him if I let him in the long grass. So
- 38:49Speaker 1: I don't And before I used to have him off
- 38:52Speaker 1: the lead in the park and he used to love
- 38:55Speaker 1: the long grass bed come home with all his ticks
- 38:59Speaker 1: and stuff like that. Now I don't let him going
- 39:03Speaker 1: along grass and he's got nothing. Hasn't it any for
- 39:11Speaker 1: over a year? Hasn't it anything on him? And someone
- 39:20Speaker 1: I think a couple of days ago another dog walker
- 39:24Speaker 1: was pointing out, it's all fair and well, you know,
- 39:27Speaker 1: them encouraging wildlife, but what happens to that wildlife when
- 39:32Speaker 1: they cut the grass. That's a fair point in it.
- 39:40Speaker 1: The thing is when it comes to wildlife. I literally
- 39:49Speaker 1: lived in the countryside. There's a farm at the end
- 40:00Speaker 1: of each road. At the end of every road there
- 40:04Speaker 1: is a farm. If I turn left, there's farms. Ever
- 40:09Speaker 1: turn right, there's farms. If I go through the park
- 40:14Speaker 1: and keep going through there there's farms. It's just farms everywhere.
- 40:20Speaker 1: By farms, I mean growing farms, not animal farms. I
- 40:28Speaker 1: tell you what animal farm the move. It was very
- 40:30Speaker 1: different from the book. But yeah, as though there's not
- 40:35Speaker 1: really So don't don't get to hear cocks every morning
- 40:41Speaker 1: like cockadoo to do or whatever they do. That wouldn't
- 40:47Speaker 1: bother me really because I'm up quite early anyway. I'm
- 40:53Speaker 1: sure there are some farms like that around here, but
- 40:57Speaker 1: it's really just like growing crops but they're everywhere all
- 41:02Speaker 1: around here. This whole area is farms. But there again,
- 41:09Speaker 1: the whole country is pretty much farmland, with some towns
- 41:14Speaker 1: and some cities and some beaches, but it's just a
- 41:19Speaker 1: huge amount of farmland here. Apparently the bloke who owns
- 41:28Speaker 1: the dice and vacuum cleaner thing, he's the biggest farm
- 41:32Speaker 1: owner in the country, or one of them. And in America,
- 41:40Speaker 1: the biggest farm owner I think is Bill Gates. That's
- 41:46Speaker 1: not just farms, that's land. Isn't it to be a landowner?
- 41:54Speaker 1: If you own the farms, you almost kind of own
- 41:58Speaker 1: the food. Wow. Or there's a plane going past? Maybe
- 42:07Speaker 1: not I taste strange? Oh yeah, I can you hear
- 42:12Speaker 1: that nicer train? Is there a train? I just realized,
- 42:24Speaker 1: I don't think it's very windy today, because normally only
- 42:29Speaker 1: on days when it's very mild, very calm, that I
- 42:35Speaker 1: can hear the trains. When it's windy, I generally can't
- 42:41Speaker 1: hear the trains. Wow, it's lovely out there, blue sky, sunny.
- 42:52Speaker 1: It's going to be difficult because I caught my jumper.
- 42:56Speaker 8: Ah, oh will.
- 43:02Speaker 1: That's kind of strange because I have the window open
- 43:05Speaker 1: most of the time. But when that window closed, it's
- 43:09Speaker 1: so much quieter because that literally just wow over, you know,
- 43:18Speaker 1: in the garden, I can hear I can't hear what
- 43:22Speaker 1: they're saying. Quite often I can't hear what they're saying anyway,
- 43:25Speaker 1: not that I want to, but it's weirdly enough, unless
- 43:32Speaker 1: my hearing has changed, I can't really hear them very well.
- 43:39Speaker 1: I'm not complaining. It's lovely. Oh yes, So yesterday I
- 43:50Speaker 1: walked twice over this bridge. I walked, I went up
- 43:55Speaker 1: the steps, went over, went down the steps, walked back up,
- 44:01Speaker 1: and then back up again. Because the or is it
- 44:06Speaker 1: the the ramp is in two parts. It's quite long.
- 44:11Speaker 1: It's in two parts, so you've got one in. You
- 44:15Speaker 1: got one bit, then you turn around and you come
- 44:17Speaker 1: back the other bit, and it gradually goes up preach
- 44:20Speaker 1: one and then you end up at the top of
- 44:25Speaker 1: the Basically you end up exactly where you were befo
- 44:28Speaker 1: where I was before before I went down the snaps.
- 44:35Speaker 1: It's built for large traffic. Really, it is a kind
- 44:41Speaker 1: of it's the same kind of bridge that you would
- 44:43Speaker 1: see at a busy train station, but there's no train
- 44:49Speaker 1: station there. There is a train track. I think part
- 44:54Speaker 1: of the reason they did it was for safety, which
- 44:58Speaker 1: is fair enough, because people used to just across the track.
- 45:02Speaker 1: There was no way of monitoring it. So it's a
- 45:08Speaker 1: good thing that it's got something over there. But one
- 45:13Speaker 1: of her neighbors when I moved in ten years ago,
- 45:15Speaker 1: said that they spent like half a million pound putting
- 45:20Speaker 1: that bridge up. It still looks in good condition. It's
- 45:25Speaker 1: hardly been used something. Seriously, I reckon the amount of
- 45:32Speaker 1: people that cross that bridge in a year would be
- 45:36Speaker 1: the same amount of people that would cross a busy
- 45:40Speaker 1: train station in a day, probably less. In fact, yeah,
- 45:54Speaker 1: probably if you get fifty people a day crossing that bridge,
- 45:58Speaker 1: I'd be surprised. Mm hmm, maybe one hundred. I'd be
- 46:03Speaker 1: surprised if it was that high. Seriously, as nor lies,
- 46:06Speaker 1: it would I classes two people because I went over twice?
- 46:15Speaker 1: Or did I go over three times? No, I went
- 46:22Speaker 1: over twice, but I went over back twice, and that's
- 46:28Speaker 1: four times actually yesterday. So I went down the down
- 46:32Speaker 1: the So I went up the steps, across the bridge,
- 46:39Speaker 1: down the steps, back up the ramp, across the bridge,
- 46:47Speaker 1: down the steps, back up the ramp, across the bridge,
- 46:56Speaker 1: down the steps and it back up the ramp, across
- 47:03Speaker 1: the bridge, and down the steps, and then we went home.
- 47:10Speaker 1: So what is that? One two three four? So we
- 47:20Speaker 1: crossed the bridge four times? So four times we went
- 47:27Speaker 1: up and down the ramp one two. I don't know
- 47:32Speaker 1: if he said four times we passed over the bridge.
- 47:38Speaker 1: So how many times do we go up the ramp?
- 47:41Speaker 1: So we go up the steps, across the bridge, go
- 47:44Speaker 1: down the steps on the other side, So up the ramp.
- 47:49Speaker 1: So one up the ramp, crossover, down the steps, then
- 47:58Speaker 1: up that ramp again, then crossover down the steps, up
- 48:04Speaker 1: that ramp, crossover and down the steps. It's just three. Okay,
- 48:15Speaker 1: let me do this again. Up the steps, cross the bridge,
- 48:21Speaker 1: down the steps, then up the ramp, crossing over the bridge,
- 48:30Speaker 1: down the steps, then up the ramp, cross over the bridge,
- 48:35Speaker 1: down the steps, up the ramp, cross over the bridge,
- 48:40Speaker 1: and down the steps. So how many times is that
- 48:45Speaker 1: across the bridge? One two, three, four, So it's only
- 48:54Speaker 1: three ramps. I walked up the ramp three times, one
- 49:02Speaker 1: two three. It's that classed as far, you know, because
- 49:13Speaker 1: I've crossed four times. I don't know. Maybe if I
- 49:18Speaker 1: walked up the ramp the first time, crossed over, went
- 49:23Speaker 1: down the steps, then went up the ramp the other
- 49:28Speaker 1: side walked down the steps, went up the ramp, or
- 49:33Speaker 1: what I could do? No, Yeah, I mean I could
- 49:37Speaker 1: just walk up the ramp, cross over the bridge, go
- 49:43Speaker 1: down the ramp, and then just turn back and walk
- 49:48Speaker 1: up the ramp again. But just I don't know. Yeah,
- 50:01Speaker 1: it's a weird one. I'm already sure it's same, but
- 50:05Speaker 1: more maybe walk up the ramp, crossover the bridge, go
- 50:10Speaker 1: down the steps that walk up that ramp, crossover down
- 50:14Speaker 1: the steps, walk up with that, so I don't walk
- 50:17Speaker 1: up any steps. But technically the things I was thinking,
- 50:29Speaker 1: is it better for me to walk up the steps
- 50:31Speaker 1: because that's more exercise. But at the same time, if
- 50:37Speaker 1: I'm walking down a ramp that's not really putting a
- 50:41Speaker 1: lot of energy, is it's because I mean it's not
- 50:49Speaker 1: like steep steep, but it's steep still, you know it's
- 50:54Speaker 1: guy is walking upwards. Yeah, I don't think i'd want
- 51:04Speaker 1: to roll a heavy ball up there. Definitely didn't want
- 51:09Speaker 1: to one of the road trying to roll his skate
- 51:11Speaker 1: up there. Just gravity it, yeah, because if it I
- 51:19Speaker 1: might fall back. I don't know, I have to think
- 51:28Speaker 1: about it. I just thought it'd be quite nice if
- 51:31Speaker 1: I had this, like nice space to take him over
- 51:36Speaker 1: a few times. And another thing I was thinking I
- 51:43Speaker 1: could do is walk up and down my steps where
- 51:45Speaker 1: I live across stairs. I maybe try and walk up
- 51:50Speaker 1: and down start off, maybe doing it twice, and then
- 51:56Speaker 1: work it up. So I'm doing walking up and down
- 51:59Speaker 1: maybe one hundred times a day, like in one go,
- 52:03Speaker 1: just as an exercise thing. But I don't know. I'm
- 52:07Speaker 1: not sure. I've started doing press ups again and doing
- 52:17Speaker 1: some exercise with my weights and doing leg raises in
- 52:25Speaker 1: bed for the stomach. So I'm kind of because I
- 52:29Speaker 1: took a little bit of a break for probably two weeks. Well,
- 52:33Speaker 1: I wasn't really doing much exercise at all, not even
- 52:38Speaker 1: the weights, not crouching what do they call it crouching,
- 52:49Speaker 1: I don't know. Whatever it is that I do for
- 52:51Speaker 1: my lower back while I hold weights, I've not done
- 52:56Speaker 1: that for a while. I did it the other day,
- 53:00Speaker 1: but I've not done it regularly every day like like
- 53:05Speaker 1: I used to. And part of the reason for that
- 53:09Speaker 1: is because at the weekend I readjusted my bedroom, not
- 53:17Speaker 1: purposefully thinking, oh, I'm going to readjust my bedroom. I
- 53:22Speaker 1: didn't wake up that morning on Saturday, thinking, oh, you
- 53:27Speaker 1: jumped out of bed with full excitement. I'm going to
- 53:30Speaker 1: move my chair to a different part of the room.
- 53:32Speaker 1: I don't mean that. It's just I was getting the
- 53:37Speaker 1: microphones out of the storage room, setting them up. So
- 53:42Speaker 1: I got one here on my chair, near my chair,
- 53:46Speaker 1: attached to a table. I got one next to my bed.
- 53:50Speaker 1: I had one attached so I can make videos. But
- 53:55Speaker 1: I don't think I can do videos anymore. I just
- 53:59Speaker 1: I prefer audio. It's an old saying. You know, some
- 54:04Speaker 1: people have got they've got a face for radio, and
- 54:07Speaker 1: I'm one of them. I think it's possibly a disappointment
- 54:17Speaker 1: if someone sees me like they might be listening to
- 54:21Speaker 1: me for a long time. Some people will be listening
- 54:23Speaker 1: to me for years and then they they get curious
- 54:28Speaker 1: and they go on to the YouTube channel. They see
- 54:30Speaker 1: me and think, well, now that's ruined. That's ruined everything.
- 54:41Speaker 1: So you know, it's not like I'm not hiding myself.
- 54:48Speaker 1: But plus, I think with video, I've never liked pictures.
- 54:57Speaker 1: I'm not. I don't mean I've never liked the picture
- 55:00Speaker 1: I've ever seen ever. I mean I've never really enjoyed
- 55:03Speaker 1: a picture of me because I don't think photographs necessarily
- 55:15Speaker 1: show the person, but a video. Can you know, your
- 55:20Speaker 1: personality can show in a video. You don't smile and frowning,
- 55:28Speaker 1: facial expressions, the voice, all that stuff movement, which I
- 55:34Speaker 1: guess is part of the whole video process, isn't it movement?
- 55:40Speaker 1: But I didn't. I feel I've done that now I've
- 55:45Speaker 1: been there. Did I spent years doing videos and there's
- 55:52Speaker 1: a little part of me thinking I just wish that.
- 55:59Speaker 1: I just don't really want to make videos. I prefer audio.
- 56:07Speaker 1: This is more relaxing for me. This is where I
- 56:11Speaker 1: can really just be myself because if I've got a
- 56:14Speaker 1: video camera there, I've got a tendency of I don't
- 56:19Speaker 1: know if it's so much showing off, but I definitely
- 56:26Speaker 1: feel very self conscious, feel very self conscious. At no
- 56:32Speaker 1: point do I forget that the camera's pointing at me
- 56:36Speaker 1: with the microphone. This is almost the most natural thing
- 56:41Speaker 1: in the world for me to just talking too microphone.
- 56:46Speaker 1: It's there's no effort. I think that comes across that
- 56:52Speaker 1: clearly is no effort. That's why it's though it's so awful,
- 56:56Speaker 1: because no energy, no effort planning. It's real. This is
- 57:06Speaker 1: just me, and I don't necessarily think that that happens
- 57:15Speaker 1: as much on a video because I just I feel
- 57:20Speaker 1: self conscious. I mean, I didn't enjoy it when I
- 57:26Speaker 1: had hair, but now now that my hair's kind of
- 57:35Speaker 1: it's really weird. Like I got a bald patch of
- 57:40Speaker 1: the back and my hairs. I trimmed my hair so
- 57:47Speaker 1: it was stuck a a crooker. I guess I can
- 57:55Speaker 1: see in the mirror that the gap between the hairs
- 57:59Speaker 1: is growing, and some of those hairs that are growing
- 58:03Speaker 1: back are not the same strength for thickness that they
- 58:07Speaker 1: used to be. And I'm thinking that possibly the next
- 58:19Speaker 1: ten years I might Okay, well I'll be bored. And
- 58:27Speaker 1: that's it really. I showed a picture to Jack Tpt
- 58:33Speaker 1: to create an image for me, and I said, oh,
- 58:36Speaker 1: make an image of Venny and me Venix on the
- 58:43Speaker 1: bed making a podcast or something and I'm sleeping on
- 58:49Speaker 1: a dog bed on the floor. So I did that
- 58:54Speaker 1: and they said, oh, I said what Jack Russell read
- 59:03Speaker 1: Jack Russell when they did that, and I posted a
- 59:06Speaker 1: picture of him, so they changed it to like a
- 59:09Speaker 1: lifelike picture of Vinnie. I think he was holding a board.
- 59:14Speaker 1: We said I had a Q and a Friday or
- 59:17Speaker 1: whatever it was. And then I said, can you make
- 59:26Speaker 1: my image as well? So they said, upload the picture
- 59:31Speaker 1: of you, So I did. It just showed someone with
- 59:34Speaker 1: a massive ballpatch and just her hair growing on the side,
- 59:41Speaker 1: like that's not why. I looked like, not yet. It
- 59:47Speaker 1: possibly will be, but it won't because I will shape
- 59:51Speaker 1: my hair. I will. That's that's so annoying though, because
- 59:57Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure that the side my hair and the
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: back of my hair is so thick and curly, but
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: so thick that it would never board. I don't think
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: I'm ever going to be that. That will always be
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: thick hair and on the side as well, but not
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: so much in the middle. It is going back to Moses.
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: It's a little bit like the parting of the Red Sea.
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: It started at the back and it's just slowly move
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: in to the front. It's weird Moses and bridges. That
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: seems to be the topic of the day. I did
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: another video.
- 1:00:45Speaker 3: I never a.
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: Podcast image and they said, I said, do you want
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: to I want to put in an image of me.
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: They said, describe yourself. I said, old, a fifty four
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: year old man. I looked about ninety when they put
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: this picture of me like it's old, old looking person.
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: I do not look like that, or maybe I do.
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: I don't to me, but I do need to have
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: my eyes checked to be fair. I'm saving up for
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: an eye test and to get what the eye test
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: is free, but the glasses on. So I think I
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: get the lenses for free, but I have to pay
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: for to have the gloss, you know, the protection on them,
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: and also the act light so they go dark in
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: the sun. So I have to pay for that, and
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: I have to I think I get a discount on
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: the frames, or I think I can get a free frame,
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: but they're like NHS. There's nothing wrong with NHS, but
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: I kind of think I don't care what the frame
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: looks like if they're ever reading, because I'm not going
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: to be reading outside pretty much. I'm going to read
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: here and I'm looking forward to getting my classes so
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: i can get back to reading again. I just can't
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: do it at the moment, not with these. So it's
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: going to cost me a few hundred pounds two because
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: I'm gonna have to get two different probably three different frames,
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: one for distance you know, normal day to day, one
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: for reading, and one for using I'm on a computer.
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: I need to start like protecting my eyes a bit more,
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: and I've noticed that I can't. I can't spend as
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: much time looking at the computer screen as I used
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: to do, which is I mean, it's not a terrible thing, really,
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: because I don't really want to be spending all day
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: looking at a computer screen. But at the same time,
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: it is limiting and i'd at least like to have
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: the option, but at the same time by looking after
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: my eyes. So as soon as I've saved up enough,
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: I'm gonna get an appointment go to the opticians. I'm
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: thinking about asking for because I saw somewhere that there's
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: certain lenses that I quite good for people bipolar. Now,
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: I might have dreamt it, but it's not something I
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: would normally dream about. But then I don't remember everything
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: I dream about. In fact, I can't remember the last
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: time I had a dream. I ever dream I don't
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: have dreamt. I just don't remember exactly what I dreamt about.
- 1:04:32Speaker 9: And yeah, wow, I think I had a dream the
- 1:04:43Speaker 9: other day, and I just.
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: I can't remember what it was.
- 1:04:53Speaker 10: I don't know.
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: I was I talking about dreaming while I was I
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: talking about dreaming oh, bipolar lenses. I know that there's
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: some lenses to people with some conditions, not just visual conditions,
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: where like different colored tinted glasses that color all the time,
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: not just in the sun, but mind tint dark in
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: the sun. Apparently people can see where I'm looking though,
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: which came as a bit of a surprise after ten
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: years of thinking.
- 1:05:39Speaker 3: I was.
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: My eyeballs at freedom. So now before I go to
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: the opticians, I'm going to do a bit of research.
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: If there's something that can help me in some way,
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: If looking through a different colored lens could be useful,
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: then it's worth exploring. There's someone to do list, Yeah,
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: because I remember one of the beg's I think it
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: was the maybe two of them, but one of them matter.
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: I think like a yellow tilted or tinted glasses. And
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: I used to know someone. I think she was a customer,
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: or i'd said when I worked in the Evolution shop
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: in Ipswich. She I think she worked next door in
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: Snappy Snaps, which was this camera processing place or picture
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: processing and she had I think yellow lenses or blue lenses,
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: and said I asked her about it, and she said
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: it was something to do with I'm pretty sure she
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: said autism. Or I'm also I have a memory of
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: hearing that lenses can help with ADHD, But again I'm
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: not sure right just these are like faint memories that
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: maybe complete fabrications. But I think anything really is worth
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: for try, isn't it. It's now to lose. I might
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: get some funny looks, what I think is maybe going forward.
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: I'll ask them if I can get lenses that are
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: always dark all the time, like Royal Obison. Did you
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: know Roy Robison didn't wear those classes because he had
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: anything wrong with his eyes. It's true he had an
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: eye injury, or he had a style or something like that.
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: So he wore those classes when he was on stage
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: because his eye was all gammy. And this might be
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: a lie, but this is my memory of it. And
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: he wore his classes on stage to perform Miss Roy Robison,
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: the singer, and he liked them so much he decided
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: to spend the rest of his career wearing those classes,
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: those big, thick classes dark, which looked like he had
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: serious sight issues, but apparently he didn't. I have seen
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: people wear those type of classes that were very had
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: impaired sight, But I was thinking maybe I could get
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: some not I don't want them like that. But just
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: the thing is, I think some people look they think
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: it's weird if you walk around in the winter wearing sunglasses.
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: And I've had a couple of people say why you
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: were in sunshines.
- 1:09:56Speaker 11: It's like, I'm not.
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: These are my normal classes. But these don't look like
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: sunshades because there's a different frame. These look like glasses,
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: because sunshades are normally a bit more, are more stylish
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: and more. There's a different kind of a frame I
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: think with sunshades. Although I I kind of do like
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: you remember the like the Blues Brothers, that kind of sunshades. Yeah,
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: maybe I look, I'll look into that. Maybe that's what
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: I'll do, just something to kind of protect my eyes
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: from the sun, from the light. I'll see what the
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: optician says. But before that, do a little bit of
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: research on mine, maybe watch a few YouTube videos and
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: foind out what's about, and perhaps to a bit of
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: research into the science behind it and see what studies
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: are showing, because I'll figure it if anything that can
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: help is brilliant. Although in the future, the smart classes
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: will be the norm, and I'm interested in that I
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: do like the idea of wearing smart glasses and being
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: able to talk to them. I like the idea of
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: being able to make a podcast while I'm just walking around.
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: Probably I probably have. I don't know how could microphone
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: would be on the glasses. But audio is improving all
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: the time, and the ability to improve audio as well
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: after recording is technologies is improving all the time. So
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: it's there's so much more that can be done. So
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: I'm just I'll see what happens, but I'm going to
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: look into it. My question is what was I talking
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: about when I very first started this recording, Because it
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: wasn't bridges, it wasn't glasses. What was it. I don't know.
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: I can't remember. I cannot remember old motor bikes in
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: the garden. That's it. So I got no idea how
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: long I've been talking. It might be twenty minutes, it
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: might be an hour. I don't know, but I'm going
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: to go, So thank you for listening. Remember to be
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: kind to yourself because you do deserve to be happy
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: and be gentle with yourself. You deserve to feel safe,
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: lots of love. Bye.
- 1:13:35Speaker 3: Relax in a more deep and meaningful way, maybe in
- 1:13:50Speaker 3: a way that can not just allow you to feel
- 1:13:57Speaker 3: calm now and throughout the time we spend together here,
- 1:14:08Speaker 3: not just relaxed at the end of the recording when
- 1:14:14Speaker 3: it's finished and you can enjoy that sense of comfort
- 1:14:20Speaker 3: and peace, but also I think it would be nice
- 1:14:36Speaker 3: to have those feelings of relaxation continue for longer after
- 1:14:55Speaker 3: the recording has ended, so that you can still benefit
- 1:15:09Speaker 3: from listening to my voice, maybe in a few hours time,
- 1:15:18Speaker 3: perhaps tomorrow, and then by listening regularly, especially if you
- 1:15:32Speaker 3: find like some people do and myself as well. I
- 1:15:36Speaker 3: sometimes I find one particular recording that really resonates with me,
- 1:15:48Speaker 3: and I just listen to it over and over again
- 1:15:52Speaker 3: every morning, every evening. There was this recording from We're
- 1:16:05Speaker 3: going back to about nineteen ninety nine. It wasn't hypnosis,
- 1:16:11Speaker 3: but it was a guided visualizations. It kind of was hypnosis, really,
- 1:16:19Speaker 3: and I managed to find it again and it still
- 1:16:24Speaker 3: has the same effect on me. And part of it
- 1:16:30Speaker 3: was the person's voice relaxed me. She just felt so peaceful,
- 1:16:47Speaker 3: and I'd look forward to listening to her in the
- 1:16:53Speaker 3: morning and in the evening. And I knew before even
- 1:17:05Speaker 3: pressing the play button that as soon as I've done that,
- 1:17:13Speaker 3: pressed the play button. This is in the days of
- 1:17:21Speaker 3: CD players, press the play button. If that it might
- 1:17:31Speaker 3: have even been a tape tape recorder. I'd lie down
- 1:17:35Speaker 3: on the bed and then even without necessarily listening to
- 1:17:48Speaker 3: her words because I had to memorized. Really, it was
- 1:18:01Speaker 3: as if my body knew exactly what to do, and
- 1:18:12Speaker 3: the muscles just almost went into automatic relaxation, and I
- 1:18:34Speaker 3: remember my mind would slow down. Now. Now, I was
- 1:18:48Speaker 3: listening to this recording in the early days of learning hypnosis,
- 1:18:58Speaker 3: and long before I ever made any videos or audio
- 1:19:05Speaker 3: recordings myself, because I didn't start doing that till two
- 1:19:10Speaker 3: thousand and six. But I knew, I knew how helpful
- 1:19:28Speaker 3: I found being able to just let go, to have
- 1:19:40Speaker 3: that trust in the person that I'm listening to, knowing
- 1:19:53Speaker 3: that it's going to be just as relaxing, if if
- 1:20:01Speaker 3: not more so. Each time you hear my voice, you
- 1:20:10Speaker 3: may feel the same. Some people have been listening to
- 1:20:22Speaker 3: me for over a decade, maybe not solidly, obviously not
- 1:20:36Speaker 3: twenty four hours a day, but maybe people come back.
- 1:20:44Speaker 3: Some people maybe listen every day. That's something that I
- 1:20:59Speaker 3: do which you may not realize By listening is when
- 1:21:15Speaker 3: I record these recordings. Now. For example, I also am
- 1:21:31Speaker 3: affected by the words that I say. So if I
- 1:21:45Speaker 3: set you focus on your feet, notice your feet relaxing,
- 1:21:56Speaker 3: I will be focusing on my feet. I will be
- 1:22:04Speaker 3: noticing my feet relaxing. If I said, focus on your hands,
- 1:22:25Speaker 3: and maybe notice the difference between each hand, Perhaps notice
- 1:22:34Speaker 3: the air in the room, the temperature of the room.
- 1:22:42Speaker 3: On the backs of your hands. You may start to
- 1:22:53Speaker 3: notice what almost feels like a very light breeze, even
- 1:23:01Speaker 3: though there may not be any type of breeze at
- 1:23:06Speaker 3: all where you are right now. And as you become
- 1:23:19Speaker 3: aware of your hands, I'm also aware of how relaxed
- 1:23:34Speaker 3: my hands our feeling.
- 1:23:41Speaker 12: Now, and when.
- 1:23:57Speaker 3: It comes to partend to be drifting off to sleep,
- 1:24:03Speaker 3: which may be the reason you're listening. I also feel
- 1:24:16Speaker 3: drowsy when I make these recordings. I also notice my
- 1:24:30Speaker 3: mind drifting. In fact, at times I've actually fallen asleep
- 1:24:52Speaker 3: without even noticing, and then I carry I'm talking. It's
- 1:25:07Speaker 3: only when I listen back to do the editing I
- 1:25:16Speaker 3: hear snoring and I think I don't remember snoring. I
- 1:25:25Speaker 3: remember talking. I was snoring. Was a pick turned up,
- 1:25:36Speaker 3: that's why I sound like when I snare and I
- 1:25:43Speaker 3: get really into the whole experience, I don't know how
- 1:25:57Speaker 3: you feel, how relaxed you feel in your feet, how
- 1:26:10Speaker 3: relaxed you feel in your hands. I have noticed more
- 1:26:35Speaker 3: and more that the more relaxed, deeper level of comfort
- 1:26:54Speaker 3: you feel, the easier your breathing becomes. It's almost like
- 1:27:12Speaker 3: that additional muscle relaxation. So this allows you to breathe
- 1:27:30Speaker 3: easier without necessarily focusing on your breath, however, being able
- 1:27:56Speaker 3: to notice the ease in which you breathe so naturally.
- 1:28:40Speaker 3: You breathe so very easily and smoothly. Whenever I imagine my
- 1:29:23Speaker 3: breathing improving, when I've got my eyes closed, I tend
- 1:29:40Speaker 3: to visualize a beautiful field with trees and flowers producing
- 1:30:00Speaker 3: all that life giving oxygen. It feels nice too, if
- 1:30:34Speaker 3: nothing else, just taking some time away from everything, enjoying
- 1:31:11Speaker 3: that feeling of peace serenity with a joyful heart. Time
- 1:32:03Speaker 3: seems to just drip by, so very slowly, relaxed, so
- 1:32:34Speaker 3: deeply peaceful, completely unattached to any thoughts whatsoever in this moment,
- 1:33:30Speaker 3: completely free, noticin that your mind has slowed down, slowed
- 1:34:27Speaker 3: down because nothing really requires your attention. You can enjoy
- 1:35:18Speaker 3: the physical sensations of allowing the stress to rip out
- 1:35:30Speaker 3: of your body, to appear out of every part of
- 1:35:49Speaker 3: your body, being released from your brain in your mind,
- 1:36:33Speaker 3: slowly but surely, the muscles in your legs remass really,
- 1:37:22Speaker 3: so very deeply, so deeply, and feelings, the pleasant feelings
- 1:38:05Speaker 3: in your arms and shoulders, deepening each part of your
- 1:38:29Speaker 3: body further and deeper and deeper. Noticine, the feelings in
- 1:39:11Speaker 3: the back of your neck, the feelings in your wrists,
- 1:40:11Speaker 3: muscles in front of your body. I all say, feeling
- 1:40:41Speaker 3: peaceful deeply, there's a sense of peace spreads through your
- 1:41:17Speaker 3: very core. Even when you focus on your mind, her
- 1:42:07Speaker 3: mind becomes be and slowerven deeper, relaxing, a very slow
- 1:43:38Speaker 3: Your stomach PA's fin's stomach, your back. Notice, Notice how
- 1:44:35Speaker 3: relaxed you'd never feel in the hole of your back.
- 1:45:18Speaker 3: In spy from your brain all the way down the
- 1:45:27Speaker 3: middle of your back, sending and receiving millions of messages
- 1:45:39Speaker 3: every day, decomfort increasing deeply ries.
- 1:46:38Speaker 4: You me.
- 1:47:05Speaker 3: Legs, spreading those signals down a spine or cord into
- 1:47:18Speaker 3: air every part of your body, your shins and your calf, muscles,
- 1:48:05Speaker 3: your elbows, Feelings of peace and tranquility spreading through your body,
- 1:48:40Speaker 3: tips of your toes, to your eyes, your fingers, all
- 1:48:56Speaker 3: the way to your lower back.
- 1:49:09Speaker 4: I think, I re, I think I.
- 1:49:41Speaker 3: Pace drifting mind just wandering away, happy to let go,
- 1:50:27Speaker 3: let go completely, let go, so tranquil the whole body,
- 1:51:33Speaker 3: enjoying a sense of sin guy hep more peace, enjoy
- 1:53:55Speaker 3: the space, this space of peace and safety, so fairy, firy, relaxed,
- 1:55:03Speaker 3: m letting go. Maybe we can just focus on the
- 1:56:34Speaker 3: different parts of your body, just to notice you forelhead
- 1:57:10Speaker 3: and your eyes, you too, said lose, noticing a sense
- 1:58:12Speaker 3: of complete freedom, absolute freedom drifri pea's for energy, pase
- 2:00:20Speaker 3: to breeze much easy loose. You may have or may
- 2:01:35Speaker 3: not have noticed your mind drifted peaceful moly, even more
- 2:02:37Speaker 3: deeply in the direction of total blissful peace, bliss for
- 2:03:01Speaker 3: peace raft total peace. Come so calm, let him go,
- 2:05:29Speaker 3: peace with mind re forty so relax.
- 2:06:14Speaker 4: Relaxed.
- 2:06:39Speaker 3: Your body feels almost.
- 2:06:44Speaker 13: Invisible, so very relaxed, I think, peaceful, so.
- 2:07:20Speaker 3: Peace relax.
- 2:07:44Speaker 6: Like a.
- 2:08:01Speaker 1: Russ.
- 2:08:20Speaker 3: And you could start to notice that you are feeling
- 2:08:27Speaker 3: more relaxed, even though I've not purposely focused your mind
- 2:08:39Speaker 3: upon that sense of physical comfort that is growing within
- 2:08:47Speaker 3: you throughout your body, and your mind starts to slow down,
- 2:09:01Speaker 3: and that could be almost in recognition of I guess
- 2:09:09Speaker 3: my speech not being particularly fast, and things just generally
- 2:09:23Speaker 3: feel calmer. Just by listening to my voice, you give
- 2:09:34Speaker 3: yourself an opportunity to take a break from the day,
- 2:09:43Speaker 3: take a break from your life as it is, and
- 2:09:50Speaker 3: to give yourself a rest, giving yourself permission to take
- 2:09:58Speaker 3: some time off, and to allow your body to relax
- 2:10:06Speaker 3: and allow your mind to slow down, which in turn
- 2:10:16Speaker 3: releases the tension and he stresses that you had in
- 2:10:21Speaker 3: your body. It's almost as if the parts of your
- 2:10:31Speaker 3: body just open up, allowing the negativity out and at
- 2:10:43Speaker 3: the same time replacing that negativity with positive heathing energy,
- 2:10:54Speaker 3: which then fills your body up and your mind to
- 2:11:01Speaker 3: also starts to appreciate those feelings of increasing confidence, an
- 2:11:19Speaker 3: almost uplifting feeling, positive healing, an energy that spreads through
- 2:11:36Speaker 3: your body like a wave of comfort. And all this
- 2:11:47Speaker 3: comes from just allowing yourself a few minutes, maybe half
- 2:12:00Speaker 3: an hour, however long you want it to be, to
- 2:12:04Speaker 3: just rest and allow your mind and your body to
- 2:12:18Speaker 3: almost reset itself to the settings of comfort and relaxation, calmness,
- 2:12:38Speaker 3: which allows more room for feelings of pleasure and happiness
- 2:12:52Speaker 3: to move around your body and into your mind, almost
- 2:13:01Speaker 3: as if your mind and your body are sinking together,
- 2:13:10Speaker 3: almost mirroring each other with that growing positivity and calmness,
- 2:13:25Speaker 3: And it feels nice. It really does feel nice to
- 2:13:33Speaker 3: know that you are the one that has allowed yourself
- 2:13:42Speaker 3: to feel more comfort and to experience more of this
- 2:13:56Speaker 3: deep relaxation spreading throughout your body. And as I focus
- 2:14:12Speaker 3: on each part of your body, you can notice that
- 2:14:18Speaker 3: that part becomes even more relaxed just by focusing on it,
- 2:14:36Speaker 3: becomes even more calm and comfortable just by focusing. And
- 2:14:49Speaker 3: as I move down your body, starting at your head,
- 2:14:58Speaker 3: the parts that you've already focused on will continue to
- 2:15:05Speaker 3: relax deeply, and those parts that we not yet focused
- 2:15:12Speaker 3: on or just automatically release any remaining tension in anticipation
- 2:15:26Speaker 3: of even more comfort about to come. Now, I'm going
- 2:15:39Speaker 3: to start by focusing on your forehead. Just being aware
- 2:15:46Speaker 3: of the feelings of your forehead and any background sounds
- 2:15:57Speaker 3: like mister Herbert the Pigeon, can just allow you to
- 2:16:02Speaker 3: feel even more relaxed. Just means you're in the moment.
- 2:16:12Speaker 3: This isn't this isn't a sterile environment. This is the world.
- 2:16:21Speaker 3: I live in the countryside, so there's lots of nature
- 2:16:27Speaker 3: sounds around. So as you focus on your forehead, just
- 2:16:38Speaker 3: notice how it becomes even more relaxed as you focus
- 2:16:48Speaker 3: only on my voice and that part of your body.
- 2:16:58Speaker 3: Moving down to your eyes, Focusing on your eyes, noticing
- 2:17:09Speaker 3: how your eyelids feel so heavy yet so light at
- 2:17:18Speaker 3: the same time, and all the muscles around your eyes
- 2:17:25Speaker 3: relaxing completely. Moving your focus down to your mouth, your lips,
- 2:17:40Speaker 3: your tongue, your teeth, and your gums, the whole of
- 2:17:47Speaker 3: your mouth relaxing, calm and loose. As you focus now
- 2:18:02Speaker 3: on your jaw, not just the parts of your jaw
- 2:18:09Speaker 3: near your mouth, your chin, but all the way up
- 2:18:15Speaker 3: the size of your face to your ears, a hole
- 2:18:22Speaker 3: of your jaw, feeding more relaxed and calm. Focusing on
- 2:18:49Speaker 3: your neck, the front of your neck and your throat,
- 2:18:56Speaker 3: relaxing and use and calm. The sides of your neck,
- 2:19:09Speaker 3: the right and left side of your neck relax and lease.
- 2:19:22Speaker 11: And calm.
- 2:19:29Speaker 14: And now the back of your neck, focusing on the
- 2:19:36Speaker 14: back of your neck, letting go of any tension that.
- 2:19:47Speaker 3: May have been there before, and enjoying that sense of
- 2:19:57Speaker 3: increasing come foot and release that you can experience in
- 2:20:07Speaker 3: the back of your neck, moving down your back and
- 2:20:19Speaker 3: moving either side of your spine right from the top
- 2:20:24Speaker 3: of your back all the way down to the bottom
- 2:20:30Speaker 3: of your back down to your lower back. And as
- 2:20:47Speaker 3: you move up and down your spine, you can feel
- 2:20:55Speaker 3: the muscles either side of your spine relaxing even more.
- 2:21:10Speaker 3: And as those muscles relax, that sense of comfort starts
- 2:21:17Speaker 3: to spread outwards from your spine into both sides of
- 2:21:27Speaker 3: your back, the top of your back, the middle, and
- 2:21:34Speaker 3: your lower back. And as you scan gently and slowly
- 2:21:45Speaker 3: up and down your back, there's the muscles in the
- 2:21:50Speaker 3: top of your back relax and become looser. The muscles
- 2:22:00Speaker 3: in the middle of your back also seem to just
- 2:22:06Speaker 3: almost divide from each other, separating and almost melting, and
- 2:22:21Speaker 3: in your lower back there seems to be an extra
- 2:22:27Speaker 3: special feeling of comfort. The spreads into your hips, so
- 2:22:43Speaker 3: down your lower back, into your hips, into the area
- 2:22:52Speaker 3: where your cosis are, and into your buttocks, and all
- 2:23:00Speaker 3: these muscles that spread from your lower back into your
- 2:23:10Speaker 3: hip area, start to melt, start to ready, let go,
- 2:23:29Speaker 3: don't even nowhere about to focus on your shoulders. Your
- 2:23:36Speaker 3: back and your spine will continue to let go, continue
- 2:23:48Speaker 3: to relax so calmly. And if you focus on your shoulders,
- 2:24:05Speaker 3: you may notice that they're already feeling really loose. They're
- 2:24:20Speaker 3: already feeding, calm and fearing. Those muscles then move from
- 2:24:47Speaker 3: your neck into your shoulders. Feel so soft and gentle,
- 2:25:06Speaker 3: so smooth.
- 2:25:14Speaker 11: And calm, and.
- 2:25:26Speaker 3: The feeling in your shoulders seems to spread deep into
- 2:25:39Speaker 3: your shoulders, that sense of relaxation, not just traveling deeply
- 2:25:50Speaker 3: into your muscles, but also relaxing the bones and moving
- 2:26:07Speaker 3: all the way to underneath your arms, relaxing a whole
- 2:26:15Speaker 3: area between the tops of your shoulders and underneath your
- 2:26:21Speaker 3: arms healing. You feel so relaxed and comfortable in your shoulders,
- 2:26:44Speaker 3: which sends that deep healing message into your arms. Yes,
- 2:27:06Speaker 3: and you may feel almost as if your arms are
- 2:27:11Speaker 3: not even there, because they're so relaxed, so deeply relaxed,
- 2:27:30Speaker 3: so so calm.
- 2:27:51Speaker 15: So.
- 2:27:57Speaker 3: Pose not feeling spreading all the way down your arms
- 2:28:15Speaker 3: two elbows, including your elbows circumforts spreads or away into wrists,
- 2:28:48Speaker 3: your forearments.
- 2:28:50Speaker 16: And your wrists so heavy, yet at the same time.
- 2:29:13Speaker 3: Sunlight and gentle Fred see now on your hands, my hands,
- 2:30:20Speaker 3: so peaceful in your hands, the sense of real peace.
- 2:31:01Speaker 3: It just seems to I feel so familiar when your
- 2:31:15Speaker 3: hands relax deeply el your thing is a thing is
- 2:32:22Speaker 3: sold less nothing, its tips, moving your attention to refront
- 2:33:26Speaker 3: to your body so comfortable, Moving your focus to your legs.
- 2:35:16Speaker 3: Let my souls in your thighs, your knees so relaxed,
- 2:36:10Speaker 3: a calf, muscles and just shames copuzily four feathing your feet, sir, peaceful,
- 2:38:32Speaker 3: so calm, so peaceful, so calm, so peaceful, cyclm so
- 2:39:31Speaker 3: peace for re sin, peace for scm. Allowing that deep
- 2:40:03Speaker 3: relaxation to spread your chest and your stomach, letting go
- 2:40:25Speaker 3: of everything. So I'm gonna start counting down now, from
- 2:40:44Speaker 3: twenty down to one. You can imagine in a way
- 2:40:53Speaker 3: it's like just walking down some steps and each step
- 2:41:00Speaker 3: twenty steps, and each step represents a level of comfort.
- 2:41:09Speaker 3: Each step represents a deepening of that comfort, and the
- 2:41:25Speaker 3: fervies you walk down those steps to a deeper and
- 2:41:31Speaker 3: more relaxed you feel. So starting with number twenty twenty,
- 2:42:13Speaker 3: nineteen eighteen, seventeen sixteen three four four see too well.
- 2:49:19Speaker 9: F h.
- 2:50:30Speaker 17: F nine eight.
- 2:53:38Speaker 18: Seven us.
- 2:55:01Speaker 19: A six.
- 2:56:31Speaker 20: Five four one.
- 3:02:19Speaker 3: And now and as you focus on your eyes, we're gonna
- 3:02:36Speaker 3: count down from ten douts one, focusing just on your eyes,
- 3:02:52Speaker 3: your eyelids, the muscles around your eyes, your eye walls
- 3:02:59Speaker 3: and cells, our whole area that makes up your eye.
- 3:03:18Speaker 3: And as we count down from ten down to one,
- 3:03:26Speaker 3: whilst focusing on your eyes, you'll become twice is relaxed
- 3:03:42Speaker 3: with each number counting down that you may find the
- 3:03:55Speaker 3: all you want to do is just drift off to sleep.
- 3:04:05Speaker 3: And if that's what you want, then just allow yourself
- 3:04:12Speaker 3: to do that. Now, focus in on your eyes. I'm
- 3:04:26Speaker 3: going to begin counting down from ten down to one
- 3:04:36Speaker 3: right now. Ten nine.
- 3:05:46Speaker 6: Eight seven.
- 3:08:44Speaker 3: Five four.
- 3:10:50Speaker 7: E three two one two. Count down ten to one
- 3:14:01Speaker 7: ten nine eight seven six.
- 3:14:14Speaker 3: Five four three two.
- 3:14:26Speaker 20: One.
- 3:14:33Speaker 3: And maybe that was a bit too quick in order
- 3:14:36Speaker 3: to relax. Maybe it's a bit too fast for you
- 3:14:40Speaker 3: to notice the calming of your body, maybe even a
- 3:14:50Speaker 3: little bit of pressure there, like you're counting down from
- 3:14:54Speaker 3: ten to one. Would you expect me to do? Man?
- 3:14:57Speaker 3: Expect me to stick gold floppy just because you're counting down,
- 3:15:07Speaker 3: I can try again, but this time I go this lower.
- 3:15:14Speaker 3: This time, as you focus on the whole of your
- 3:15:19Speaker 3: body before we focus on your legs. Just notice how
- 3:15:27Speaker 3: your body does start to feel more relaxed with every
- 3:15:41Speaker 3: number that I count down ten nine, eight, seven, six, five,
- 3:16:34Speaker 3: four three two one.
- 3:17:22Speaker 19: Wow.
- 3:17:28Speaker 3: And just notice how how you feel generally, how your
- 3:17:33Speaker 3: body feels. It's not necessarily even about counting down from
- 3:17:48Speaker 3: ten to one. It's that space that you have, that
- 3:17:59Speaker 3: space green being active physically or mentally to just sitting
- 3:18:20Speaker 3: or lying down, just being there, not doing anything, not
- 3:18:25Speaker 3: saying anything, nor deeding to think about anything. So it
- 3:18:32Speaker 3: opens up a space, you know, a bit of a space,
- 3:18:37Speaker 3: a gap. And the more I camped down from ten
- 3:18:47Speaker 3: to one, the bigger that gap becomes. So there's that
- 3:18:54Speaker 3: gap of calmness, of comfort, relax It's a nice feeling,
- 3:19:12Speaker 3: and it moves those stresses or discomforts physically or emotionally,
- 3:19:22Speaker 3: moves them away. Allows you to just slow down. Someone
- 3:19:43Speaker 3: to count again from ten down to one, and notice
- 3:19:47Speaker 3: that gap widening, the gap, And as it widens, it's
- 3:19:56Speaker 3: almost like the stress and attention falls into the gap
- 3:20:16Speaker 3: and gives you that distance, that space. Now ten nine, eight, seven, six,
- 3:21:12Speaker 3: five four three two.
- 3:22:17Speaker 6: One.
- 3:22:29Speaker 3: How does your body feel.
- 3:22:35Speaker 21: Now?
- 3:22:48Speaker 3: Can you notice that? Do you feeling calma, the feeling
- 3:23:03Speaker 3: more relaxed as we now focus on your legs, just
- 3:23:31Speaker 3: your legs. We're just gonna start with focusing on your thighs.
- 3:24:07Speaker 3: Of course, it's not the most exciting thing to be doing,
- 3:24:12Speaker 3: because I'm sure, like most of your body is not
- 3:24:18Speaker 3: a lot going on right now. Just focusing on the
- 3:24:31Speaker 3: whole of your thighs, the tops of your thighs, the
- 3:24:37Speaker 3: sides of your thighs, the bottoms of your thighs, your
- 3:24:44Speaker 3: outer thighs, and your inner thighs. Basically the whole of
- 3:24:49Speaker 3: your thigh that leads into your hip and it goes
- 3:24:58Speaker 3: down to your knee joints. Now, this is a big area.
- 3:25:13Speaker 3: It's a very heavy area. It's very strong, probably the
- 3:25:18Speaker 3: strongest muscles in your body or in your thighs. But
- 3:25:32Speaker 3: I don't think we perhaps give enough attention to our thighs.
- 3:25:47Speaker 3: Perhaps we don't acknowledge how important our thighs are to
- 3:25:58Speaker 3: our lives, how much they actually do for us all
- 3:26:18Speaker 3: for our lives.
- 3:26:26Speaker 6: And it may seem to.
- 3:26:28Speaker 3: Sound really weird. But I think that all of our
- 3:26:33Speaker 3: body parts, especially our thighs, need some TLC, a bit
- 3:26:44Speaker 3: of love shown, a bit of acknowledgement, thank you, gratitude
- 3:27:04Speaker 3: for what our thighs do for us. And I know
- 3:27:13Speaker 3: this may sound a bit strange. Maybe you think, why
- 3:27:19Speaker 3: am I sure? How I should be out in the
- 3:27:22Speaker 3: garden hugging a tree or something. Well, it's hard to
- 3:27:30Speaker 3: set a microphone up on a tree. That's why I'm
- 3:27:33Speaker 3: doing this indoors. Otherwise I would be outside hugging a tree.
- 3:27:38Speaker 3: Now I can't see the television from the tree. If
- 3:27:46Speaker 3: you move down to your knees gain such an important part.
- 3:27:56Speaker 3: And I think we don't necessarily I'll speak for myself here.
- 3:28:04Speaker 3: I don't necessarily appreciate all that my knees do for
- 3:28:09Speaker 3: me until I have a problem with my knee. It's occasionally,
- 3:28:15Speaker 3: if I ever, maybe i'll pash it or it's aching
- 3:28:21Speaker 3: for some reason. It's then that I realize how much
- 3:28:27Speaker 3: it does. You know, the benefit of being able to
- 3:28:32Speaker 3: use my legs without any kind of physical discomfort is
- 3:28:42Speaker 3: a beautiful thing that's possibly not appreciated until it's temporarily removed.
- 3:28:51Speaker 3: You know, that's comfort. But as you focus on your knees,
- 3:29:01Speaker 3: regardless of how your knees feel, you can have that
- 3:29:07Speaker 3: sense of gratitude and love to your knees for all
- 3:29:13Speaker 3: that they do for you, and you can still have
- 3:29:25Speaker 3: that attention on your thighs and maybe notice how your
- 3:29:29Speaker 3: thighs feel. Maybe you've noticed that they are relaxing more
- 3:29:43Speaker 3: deeply as you focus now on the bottoms of your legs,
- 3:29:55Speaker 3: your shins, and your calf muscles and the bones between
- 3:30:01Speaker 3: your knees and your feet, incorporating of course, your ankles
- 3:30:10Speaker 3: so important. You know, anyone that's had even like the
- 3:30:19Speaker 3: slightest sprain of an ankle knows how how much we
- 3:30:26Speaker 3: take our ankles for granted. And it's kind of strange
- 3:30:37Speaker 3: in a way when you think that. You know, logically,
- 3:30:42Speaker 3: our wrists are a lot thinner than the rest of
- 3:30:45Speaker 3: our arms, which is okay, it doesn't I can't see
- 3:30:50Speaker 3: any problem with that because we're just picking stuff up.
- 3:30:55Speaker 3: But our ankles so much thinner than the rest of
- 3:31:01Speaker 3: our legs, and from a physics perspective or logical even
- 3:31:11Speaker 3: it doesn't really make sense that all this weight would
- 3:31:17Speaker 3: ultimately be resting on your ankles then leading to your feet,
- 3:31:29Speaker 3: that thin area, thin bone. Yeah, it does so much
- 3:31:38Speaker 3: great work. Supports us, supports our body for a lifetime,
- 3:31:50Speaker 3: helps us to balance, helps you to get around, be mobile.
- 3:32:07Speaker 3: And there's the calf muscles. Of course, when I was younger,
- 3:32:15Speaker 3: I couldn't see the point in calf muscles. Didn't seem
- 3:32:18Speaker 3: to do anything. Okay, if I walked around on tiptoes,
- 3:32:24Speaker 3: then my calf muscles get some work. But of course
- 3:32:28Speaker 3: that's not true. The calf muscles are being used whenever
- 3:32:32Speaker 3: we use our legs and your shins there to protect
- 3:32:46Speaker 3: your lower legs, shaped in a way, almost as a
- 3:32:55Speaker 3: protector for the bone, leading of course to your ankles
- 3:33:10Speaker 3: and your feet. But we're not going to focus on
- 3:33:17Speaker 3: your feet. We're just going to focus on the legs.
- 3:33:21Speaker 3: I realize that now that I've mentioned your feet, it
- 3:33:26Speaker 3: probably focuses on them anyway, So maybe I should focus
- 3:33:31Speaker 3: on your feet a little bit. You can have them
- 3:33:37Speaker 3: in your awareness, the same as you have your thighs
- 3:33:43Speaker 3: in your awareness. Even though we haven't been focusing on
- 3:33:47Speaker 3: your thighs a few minutes, we've been focusing on your ankles.
- 3:34:00Speaker 3: That sensation of comfort in your thighs in this that
- 3:34:15Speaker 3: movement of energy because the thighs hold lots of different sensations.
- 3:34:27Speaker 3: Of course, there's the muscles, the big straw muscles that
- 3:34:32Speaker 3: we have in our thighs. But the skin on the
- 3:34:45Speaker 3: outside of the thighs, as in the outside of all
- 3:34:50Speaker 3: of our body, can be very sensitive, sensitive to the touch,
- 3:35:02Speaker 3: sensitive to temperature, and inside your thighs the bones, there's
- 3:35:16Speaker 3: the muscle, there's the blood, vessels, the arch trees, all
- 3:35:22Speaker 3: this stuff that's inside your thighs. And I guess sometimes
- 3:35:31Speaker 3: it'd be nice if you could actually put your fingers
- 3:35:34Speaker 3: inside your thighs and a message, so you can message
- 3:35:41Speaker 3: on the outside, of course, but to be able to
- 3:35:44Speaker 3: get deep into the muscles and to be able to
- 3:35:47Speaker 3: just message inside your thighs, message in the bones of
- 3:35:53Speaker 3: your leg, message in the veins, and just gently heathing
- 3:36:05Speaker 3: your thighs and you could move down message and inside
- 3:36:15Speaker 3: your knees, just message in those bones, but with healing fingertips,
- 3:36:23Speaker 3: spreading that healing energy deep into the joints of your knees.
- 3:36:35Speaker 3: Of course, there's the back of your your knee, you know,
- 3:36:39Speaker 3: the inside crease where your knee is. It's a very
- 3:36:45Speaker 3: sensitive area, very it feels very nice when you stroke it.
- 3:36:52Speaker 3: That might be because it's an area that's not really
- 3:36:56Speaker 3: touched very often. It's almost like a hidden part, that
- 3:37:02Speaker 3: crease in your legs. It's almost it's like a part
- 3:37:09Speaker 3: that has a sensitivity, which is a little bit different.
- 3:37:22Speaker 3: Of course, it's protected by your legs, so you can
- 3:37:32Speaker 3: imagine putting your fingers into that crease in your legs,
- 3:37:43Speaker 3: folding between your legs, you can just message with your fingertips.
- 3:37:49Speaker 3: Imagine your fingertips going inside, massage in the muscle tissue.
- 3:38:00Speaker 3: You can of course field the bones of your knees,
- 3:38:06Speaker 3: healing through your fingertips, and then as you go down
- 3:38:19Speaker 3: to your calf muscles, and that's the part I'd like
- 3:38:22Speaker 3: to be able to really put my fingertips deep inside
- 3:38:28Speaker 3: my calf muscles, massage in every single tissue of that muscle,
- 3:38:38Speaker 3: healing every part, and then doing the same for my shins,
- 3:38:51Speaker 3: massage in and gently stroking the bones, gently stroking them,
- 3:38:59Speaker 3: hear in a loving way, because they deserve to be
- 3:39:03Speaker 3: treated as the precious bones that they are, Because our
- 3:39:11Speaker 3: legs are so precious as in all the other parts
- 3:39:14Speaker 3: of our body, and more precious of any chore on
- 3:39:22Speaker 3: the planet. When you start to think about your legs
- 3:39:39Speaker 3: in this way, it can change your perspective. It might
- 3:39:50Speaker 3: sound a bit a bit silly to start with the
- 3:39:57Speaker 3: idea of having love for your legs, show an appreciation
- 3:40:05Speaker 3: for your thighs, wanting to be able to put your
- 3:40:11Speaker 3: hands in your thighs, massage the muscles and the bones,
- 3:40:21Speaker 3: and to get your fingers deep in there, releasing all tension.
- 3:40:29Speaker 3: Just to show how much you care about your legs,
- 3:40:39Speaker 3: how much you care for what your legs do for
- 3:40:43Speaker 3: you regularly, your knees, your calves, your ankles, the strength
- 3:40:56Speaker 3: of your ankles, considering how thin they are compared to
- 3:41:05Speaker 3: the rest of your legs, especially your thighs. Yeah, they're
- 3:41:12Speaker 3: so strong, so flexible, absolutely amazing things. Your ankles are
- 3:41:28Speaker 3: truly a gift because of what they do for you,
- 3:41:38Speaker 3: supporting all that weight, regardless of how what weight you are,
- 3:41:46Speaker 3: even if you're only eight stone, there's still a lot
- 3:41:51Speaker 3: of weight for these little ankles. Now, I'm a lot
- 3:41:58Speaker 3: heavier than eight stone double down, yet my ankles support
- 3:42:08Speaker 3: my body all the time, or though they do give
- 3:42:15Speaker 3: off a sigh of relief when I sit down, as
- 3:42:21Speaker 3: you have, my whole legs do my feet feet also
- 3:42:28Speaker 3: goes my toes Clap're so happy. Your legs really are amazing.
- 3:43:00Speaker 3: And I know that about talking about your legs is
- 3:43:04Speaker 3: probably possibly among the most most boring things I've ever
- 3:43:12Speaker 3: heard anyone say. Possibly or boring or not, everything I
- 3:43:20Speaker 3: said is true. Your legs are amazing. Your legs deserve
- 3:43:37Speaker 3: not just respect, they deserve to relax deeply. They deserve
- 3:43:56Speaker 3: to take some time out of the day to just
- 3:44:01Speaker 3: let go completely. Your legs really can relax. And because
- 3:44:37Speaker 3: the legs are so such a most you know, very
- 3:44:41Speaker 3: important part of your body. When you relax your legs,
- 3:44:47Speaker 3: the rest of your body also naturally follows in that
- 3:44:58Speaker 3: journey of comfort. I can feel it in my hips.
- 3:45:10Speaker 3: My hips feel really loose, and also my lighter back
- 3:45:18Speaker 3: as well. My lower back really feels it feels stretched,
- 3:45:25Speaker 3: even though I'm just sitting in a chair and there's
- 3:45:28Speaker 3: no stretching as far as I'm aware that I'm doing.
- 3:45:35Speaker 3: It's almost as if the muscles are just relaxed so
- 3:45:38Speaker 3: much that there is a natural stretch as the tension
- 3:45:44Speaker 3: has reduced a lot. And I'm now going to count
- 3:46:06Speaker 3: down from ten down to one, and you can continue
- 3:46:15Speaker 3: to fill wonderfully relaxed. Ten nine, eight, seven, six, five
- 3:46:46Speaker 3: four three two relax. So I'm just going to count
- 3:47:15Speaker 3: down from fire down to one. And as a countdown,
- 3:47:21Speaker 3: if you just focus on the numbers, just the numbers
- 3:47:28Speaker 3: counting down, and notice how you feel in this moment
- 3:47:38Speaker 3: as you hear the numbers counting down, knowing that those
- 3:47:43Speaker 3: numbers counting down represent you feeling calmer, not just in
- 3:47:56Speaker 3: your body, but also relaxing your mind. I just notice
- 3:48:04Speaker 3: how you feel. There's nothing to do, there's nothing to say,
- 3:48:11Speaker 3: there's nothing to think about, starting with number five four
- 3:48:38Speaker 3: three two one. And as you notice the gradual letting
- 3:49:14Speaker 3: go that the tension in your body, you may also
- 3:49:23Speaker 3: begin to notice and be aware of how your mind
- 3:49:29Speaker 3: is starting to slow down. This is just a natural
- 3:49:38Speaker 3: thing that happens. It's not really a special procedure. It's
- 3:49:46Speaker 3: just natural because as your body relaxes, your mind also
- 3:49:52Speaker 3: starts to relax. And the more your mind relaxes, the
- 3:49:57Speaker 3: more your body relaxes. It's just a cont hinuous circle
- 3:50:02Speaker 3: of relaxation. And there's that calmness that comes from relative quietness.
- 3:50:17Speaker 3: You know, even even if there's background sounds either your
- 3:50:22Speaker 3: side online is still going to be quite calm. You know,
- 3:50:30Speaker 3: you haven't got the television on, there's no music in
- 3:50:35Speaker 3: the background unless you're listening to the recording. With music,
- 3:50:38Speaker 3: of course, you're very likely not going to be sitting
- 3:50:45Speaker 3: in a room with other people. Of course you might be,
- 3:50:49Speaker 3: but generally it's more ideal if you can do this
- 3:50:53Speaker 3: on your own, so no distractions, and when you stop
- 3:51:04Speaker 3: thinking about stuff, relaxation automatically rises, a sense of comfort
- 3:51:22Speaker 3: starts to grow, and without trying to build it up
- 3:51:31Speaker 3: into something fantastical or something magical, this is just a
- 3:51:42Speaker 3: natural process, something that's easy to accomplish. In fact, it's
- 3:51:55Speaker 3: almost you know, the sense of relaxing completely happens really
- 3:52:02Speaker 3: when you put no effort into it. It's not something
- 3:52:07Speaker 3: that you can really force. It's something that happens naturally.
- 3:52:18Speaker 3: And part of the process of this recording and others
- 3:52:26Speaker 3: is simply two allow you to take advantage of this space,
- 3:52:41Speaker 3: this time, to just let go, to just be here,
- 3:52:55Speaker 3: to be in tune with how you feel, yet with
- 3:53:09Speaker 3: the intention of wanting to relax deeply and maybe even
- 3:53:22Speaker 3: to fall asleep, depending on what it is that you
- 3:53:28Speaker 3: wish for yourself in this moment. As we know, relaxing
- 3:53:43Speaker 3: is the majority of the process of falling asleep. The
- 3:53:51Speaker 3: actual falling asleep part is the tiny bit at the end.
- 3:53:58Speaker 3: The deeper relaxed you become, the easier you find yourself drifting.
- 3:54:22Speaker 3: But you can also if you choose, stay focused on
- 3:54:29Speaker 3: my voice and really enjoy the process of gradually relaxing
- 3:54:57Speaker 3: each muscle in your body effortlessly and just observing the
- 3:55:24Speaker 3: sensation of letting go completely. This time, I'm going to
- 3:55:45Speaker 3: count from six down to one, and you can notice
- 3:55:55Speaker 3: your mind calming down more with each number that you
- 3:56:06Speaker 3: hear me say, naturally, feeling calm and slow and peaceful. Six, five, four, three, two.
- 3:58:54Speaker 22: One, being aware of.
- 3:59:20Speaker 3: How your mind has slowed right down, sinking deeply into relaxation.
- 3:59:50Speaker 3: And as you focus on your mind, you may notice
- 3:59:57Speaker 3: that there's some thoughts still there, maybe some stubborn thoughts
- 4:00:07Speaker 3: that for some reason perhaps need your attention. So what
- 4:00:23Speaker 3: you can do is send love to those thoughts. Sprinkle
- 4:00:35Speaker 3: those thoughts.
- 4:00:41Speaker 6: With love.
- 4:00:43Speaker 3: Like all petals from a flower. Just sprinkle it over them,
- 4:00:49Speaker 3: petals filled with love towards those thoughts, to let those
- 4:00:56Speaker 3: thoughts know that you're not abandon in them. You just
- 4:01:03Speaker 3: need them, You require them to just calm down, slow down,
- 4:01:16Speaker 3: quiet down.
- 4:01:21Speaker 1: For now.
- 4:01:29Speaker 3: So as you focus on those remaining thoughts as we
- 4:01:34Speaker 3: count down this time from seven down to one. With
- 4:01:39Speaker 3: each number, just imagine sprinkling those flower petals of love, kindness,
- 4:01:55Speaker 3: gratitude over those thoughts, which will allow them to just
- 4:02:08Speaker 3: melt away and relax deeply. With every number, those thoughts
- 4:02:23Speaker 3: will become more and more relaxed, starting with number seven, six, five, four,
- 4:03:58Speaker 3: three one. And as you now notice how relaxed you're
- 4:05:19Speaker 3: feeling in your body, we're going to focus on your hands,
- 4:05:45Speaker 3: because the more relaxed your hands are, the more relaxed
- 4:05:51Speaker 3: your body and mind are. And there you focus on
- 4:06:12Speaker 3: your hands and your fingers. There's nothing needed to be done.
- 4:06:24Speaker 3: There's no clenching of fists or dents in the fingers
- 4:06:29Speaker 3: or anything like that. It's just noticing and focusing on
- 4:06:43Speaker 3: your hands, noticing how they feel. Because the more relaxed
- 4:07:11Speaker 3: your hands feel, the calmer your mind feels, and the
- 4:07:21Speaker 3: more comfort you feel throughout your body.
- 4:07:35Speaker 8: And you may have already.
- 4:07:48Speaker 3: Noticed you mind.
- 4:08:01Speaker 6: He is.
- 4:08:04Speaker 3: Starting to drest like since just on your hands and fingers,
- 4:08:36Speaker 3: allowing them to experience a real deepening of that relaxation
- 4:08:52Speaker 3: in your hands and fingers, more and more relaxed. With
- 4:09:10Speaker 3: each number from eight down to one. You can almost
- 4:09:30Speaker 3: feel that healing and relaxing energy spreading into your hands
- 4:09:41Speaker 3: and fingers, becoming year more relaxing with each number ye
- 4:10:06Speaker 3: going down eight down to one, drifting, drifting again starting
- 4:10:27Speaker 3: with number eight, seven, six, five, four, three, just being
- 4:14:28Speaker 3: here now, nothing to think about, nothing to do, nothing
- 4:14:38Speaker 3: to say, and everything just feels calmer. And this is
- 4:14:53Speaker 3: your natural state of being. This is how are you
- 4:15:00Speaker 3: just normally feel when you take away all that other
- 4:15:07Speaker 3: stuff that we add, you know, things like stress and
- 4:15:15Speaker 3: worrying and overthinking and anxiety, tension, just generally thinking about stuff.
- 4:15:33Speaker 3: You take that away, which is what we do. What
- 4:15:37Speaker 3: we do now you're left with a real sense of
- 4:15:50Speaker 3: peacefulness which comes to you very quickly, because ultimately it's
- 4:16:03Speaker 3: just a feeling, a feeling of comfort, almost as if
- 4:16:17Speaker 3: you've gone inside yourself and you've found a special place
- 4:16:22Speaker 3: where everything is peaceful, a place where you can feel
- 4:16:36Speaker 3: relaxed and your natural sense of comfort, a place where
- 4:16:45Speaker 3: you can be you, where you can accept yourself for
- 4:16:55Speaker 3: who you are, a place where you're not trying to
- 4:17:02Speaker 3: please anybody else ever, a place where you can actually
- 4:17:16Speaker 3: not just love yourself, but in some ways more importantly,
- 4:17:22Speaker 3: you can like yourself appreciate who you are. That sense
- 4:17:39Speaker 3: of gratitude is in the air all around you. That's
- 4:17:52Speaker 3: also a place where you can actually feel the healing
- 4:18:01Speaker 3: energy soaking into your body. Healing energy soaking into your body,
- 4:18:21Speaker 3: and that healing energy spreads through your veins, traveling to
- 4:18:31Speaker 3: each and every single part of your body, and you
- 4:18:43Speaker 3: start to realize that actually that healing energy, it's not
- 4:18:50Speaker 3: just entered into your brain, it's become part of your brain,
- 4:19:02Speaker 3: and that spinal fluid is now mixed with healing energy,
- 4:19:14Speaker 3: not just allowing you to feel so much more relaxed
- 4:19:23Speaker 3: and healthy in this moment, but also you start to
- 4:19:35Speaker 3: realize that actually, what's happening now with that healing, relaxing
- 4:19:45Speaker 3: energy spreading through your body, it's actually changing your life.
- 4:19:58Speaker 3: It's actually changing the way you're going to feel not
- 4:20:04Speaker 3: just now, but tomorrow and the next day. As your
- 4:20:11Speaker 3: health improves, not just your physical health but your mental health.
- 4:20:23Speaker 3: Things that used to bother you in the past for
- 4:20:28Speaker 3: some reason, no longer have the effect that they used
- 4:20:35Speaker 3: to because something has changed deep within you. Maybe things
- 4:20:49Speaker 3: that used to cause you to feel anger no longer
- 4:20:59Speaker 3: have that power to control you the way they seem
- 4:21:09Speaker 3: to be able to before. As you realize that you're
- 4:21:18Speaker 3: the one who decides what affects you, you're the one
- 4:21:31Speaker 3: who decides to feel relaxed and calm when you choose
- 4:21:45Speaker 3: to enjoy noticing these natural developments of healing, continuing to
- 4:22:00Speaker 3: grow and improve your life day by day, including of course,
- 4:22:14Speaker 3: your ability to relax so much easier and sleep in.
- 4:22:32Speaker 3: It's the most natural thing in the world to you,
- 4:22:42Speaker 3: because falling asleep is something that you've done so many
- 4:22:49Speaker 3: times in your life, and you know that you were born,
- 4:22:59Speaker 3: as we all were, with the ability to fall asleep naturally.
- 4:23:10Speaker 3: We were born with that ability to just drift off
- 4:23:21Speaker 3: into a deep, healing sleep. Even when we're kids, sometimes
- 4:23:34Speaker 3: will fall asleep and we don't even want to try
- 4:23:39Speaker 3: to take us stay awake. Maybe it's a birthday in
- 4:23:43Speaker 3: the morning, or it's Christmas or holiday or something we
- 4:23:47Speaker 3: look forward to. We don't want to go to sleep.
- 4:23:52Speaker 3: But the more we want to stay awake, the more
- 4:23:57Speaker 3: we just start to drift, and the more you fight drifting.
- 4:24:06Speaker 3: The more you try to stop yourself and drift in
- 4:24:09Speaker 3: a safe the deeper and stronger that drifting becomes. Because
- 4:24:22Speaker 3: we're born not just with the need to relax deeply
- 4:24:29Speaker 3: and to naturally fall asleep, but it's our birthright, it's
- 4:24:39Speaker 3: part of our DNA, and sometimes as we get older
- 4:24:49Speaker 3: in life, perhaps at times we have forgotten that relaxing completely.
- 4:25:05Speaker 3: It's not only a wonderfully pleasant experience, it's also really easy.
- 4:25:29Speaker 3: It's very very easy to let go, because that's all
- 4:25:37Speaker 3: it is. It's just deciding to let go. And when
- 4:25:51Speaker 3: you press the play button on my recordings, you have
- 4:25:59Speaker 3: given permission for my voice to relax you. When you
- 4:26:10Speaker 3: press that play button, you have given me permission for
- 4:26:15Speaker 3: my words to affect you in a positive, only a
- 4:26:30Speaker 3: positive way, opening up your mind. Two useful and healing
- 4:26:53Speaker 3: suggestions that can have such an amazing effect on how
- 4:27:09Speaker 3: you feel right now, as well as those changes that
- 4:27:21Speaker 3: continue long after the recording ends. Those changes within you
- 4:27:34Speaker 3: to continue to flourish and grow, transforming your life in
- 4:27:47Speaker 3: a positive, beautiful way, allowing you to move forward in
- 4:27:59Speaker 3: your life in the direction that you choose for yourself.
- 4:28:15Speaker 3: And this feeling, this feeling that you can experience of safety, comfort,
- 4:28:26Speaker 3: calmness just feels so nice. It's such a healthy place
- 4:28:49Speaker 3: to be, and that positivity grows within you each and
- 4:29:09Speaker 3: every day. Moving forward, you're going to find that you're
- 4:29:22Speaker 3: more relaxed physically and in your mind is more relaxed.
- 4:29:38Speaker 3: And it's not that you're thinking slower. It's just that
- 4:29:43Speaker 3: your mind will be less clogged up with unnecessary negativity
- 4:29:55Speaker 3: because from now on, your mind rejects negativity. From now on,
- 4:30:06Speaker 3: you're going to start noticing when negativity arises and you
- 4:30:17Speaker 3: can just say stop, stop, and that negativity will turn
- 4:30:31Speaker 3: around and leave you alone. Stop and that negativity will disappear.
- 4:30:59Speaker 3: And that you notice that you feel way more relaxed
- 4:31:07Speaker 3: than you probably expected. You can now congratulate yourself because
- 4:31:23Speaker 3: you're the person that has done this. You are the
- 4:31:29Speaker 3: one that has opened your mind up to the simple
- 4:31:34Speaker 3: facts that you can feel more relaxed in your body
- 4:31:43Speaker 3: and in your mind. You've opened your mind up to
- 4:31:55Speaker 3: the birthright of being able to just fall asleep easily
- 4:32:02Speaker 3: when you choose. And that's a nice feeling. Don't you
- 4:32:16Speaker 3: think it feels nice? Doesn't it to feel calm? All
- 4:32:28Speaker 3: that healing energy is spreading through your body and your
- 4:32:33Speaker 3: mind to spend time a special place where negativity can
- 4:32:50Speaker 3: no longer enter. Negativity is bad, and it's bad. It's
- 4:33:03Speaker 3: not allowed Entryue doesn't it doesn't. This doesn't deserve to
- 4:33:10Speaker 3: be here. It doesn't belong here. Negativity has no place
- 4:33:19Speaker 3: in your life, which makes room for more comfort, more heathing,
- 4:33:38Speaker 3: more relaxation, more peace. It feels nice, doesn't it? Just
- 4:34:08Speaker 3: the let go with everything. I'm going to count down
- 4:34:29Speaker 3: now from twenty down to one. You can continue to relax,
- 4:34:39Speaker 3: if you choose, you can drift to sleep with every
- 4:34:51Speaker 3: number you hear me say, can fill twice is relaxed,
- 4:35:06Speaker 3: or if you choose, you can fill twice sleepy now
- 4:35:23Speaker 3: twenty nineteen, eighteen, seventeen, sixteen, fifteen, fourteen, thirteen, twelve, eleven, ten, nine, eight, seven, six,
- 4:37:31Speaker 3: five four on. This is your time to just take
- 4:38:16Speaker 3: a break, your time to relax, to allow your mind
- 4:38:31Speaker 3: to slow down, to give yourself permission to take a
- 4:38:49Speaker 3: break from everything.
- 4:39:00Speaker 1: End.
- 4:39:00Speaker 3: You're the only person that can make that decision. You're
- 4:39:07Speaker 3: the only person that can actually tell your mind to
- 4:39:15Speaker 3: just relax, to just take some time off so that
- 4:39:39Speaker 3: you can focus on your body, getting in touch with
- 4:39:45Speaker 3: how you feel physically, and in the process of this
- 4:40:02Speaker 3: body scan, where you focus on different parts of your body,
- 4:40:13Speaker 3: those parts that you focus on and observe, even though
- 4:40:21Speaker 3: you're not purposely requesting for those parts of your body
- 4:40:29Speaker 3: to relax, it's kind of expected. You expect when you
- 4:40:38Speaker 3: listen to my voice to feel more relaxed naturally, because
- 4:40:51Speaker 3: when you're listening to me, your attention is focused on
- 4:41:01Speaker 3: my words. And as my words guide you to focus
- 4:41:17Speaker 3: on those parts of your body, your focus increases, which
- 4:41:32Speaker 3: actually calms your mind. And when your mind calms down,
- 4:41:53Speaker 3: your body relaxes. And when your body calms down, your
- 4:42:15Speaker 3: mind relaxes. And even though I've not really started the
- 4:42:32Speaker 3: focus on your body, you can already feel that healing
- 4:42:45Speaker 3: energy spreading through your body, pushing out stress and tension
- 4:43:00Speaker 3: and healing All the parts of your body, including your skin,
- 4:43:12Speaker 3: your bones, your blood, all of your organs inside your body,
- 4:43:21Speaker 3: all of the muscles, all of the fat, all of everything,
- 4:43:29Speaker 3: every hair on your body is filled with that healing energy.
- 4:43:43Speaker 3: And when your brain fills with that healing energy, the
- 4:44:00Speaker 3: eating of comfort and relaxation increases deeply increases in a
- 4:44:24Speaker 3: way to your mind starts to feel perhaps bit drowsy
- 4:44:44Speaker 3: because it's not needed, and it may start to drift
- 4:45:03Speaker 3: if that's what's needed. So if you're listening to this
- 4:45:12Speaker 3: and what you need is deep relaxation, that's what you get.
- 4:45:19Speaker 3: If what you need is to fall asleep naturally and
- 4:45:26Speaker 3: easily as your mind drifts, that's also what will happen.
- 4:45:40Speaker 3: Because by pressing that play button on the podcast and
- 4:45:48Speaker 3: listening to me, you give permission for your body and
- 4:45:54Speaker 3: your mind. In fact, you give the command to your
- 4:46:06Speaker 3: body and your mind to relax deeply and to drift
- 4:46:18Speaker 3: off to sleep if that's what you want or need.
- 4:46:34Speaker 3: And as I focus on the different parts of your body,
- 4:46:45Speaker 3: you may start to just drift. And then you come
- 4:46:54Speaker 3: back again and you hear me talk again, and I'm
- 4:46:59Speaker 3: focusing on a different parts of your body, and you
- 4:47:08Speaker 3: may find yourself drifting. You don't realize you're drifting until
- 4:47:19Speaker 3: you stop drifting and you're alert again to my voice.
- 4:47:27Speaker 3: Focusing on a different part of your body starts to
- 4:47:33Speaker 3: relax even deeper, because that drifting is basically you already
- 4:47:46Speaker 3: in the sleep zone. And the more you drift, the
- 4:47:56Speaker 3: longer you drift, and the longer you dreat Eventually that
- 4:48:06Speaker 3: drifting continues into sleep, and that's the last you remember
- 4:48:18Speaker 3: until you wake up in your own time, when you
- 4:48:27Speaker 3: experience the right amount of sleep for you, because when
- 4:48:35Speaker 3: you do and if you do fall asleep, it's extremely pleasant,
- 4:48:47Speaker 3: so relaxing, so deep, healing, sleepy. It feels so nice
- 4:49:11Speaker 3: to relax into your own body and mind as you
- 4:49:21Speaker 3: feel that heathing energy is spreading through it, relaxing news
- 4:49:29Speaker 3: so deeply, relaxing, so so deeply. We start to focus
- 4:49:53Speaker 3: on your eyes, moving down to your chow, down to
- 4:50:16Speaker 3: your neck, your shoulders, arms, hand, fingers, your chest, stoma,
- 4:51:11Speaker 3: you back, your spine, you's, you, legs, your feet, you
- 4:51:55Speaker 3: chose and feeding, heeting, spreading and growing inside your body,
- 4:52:26Speaker 3: feeling you up. Now let's focus again on parts of
- 4:52:38Speaker 3: your body, focusing this time on your forehead. Now on
- 4:52:52Speaker 3: your mouth, your lips, your tongue, the whole of your mouth.
- 4:53:14Speaker 3: Focus in on your fingers. Maybe you could move your
- 4:53:25Speaker 3: fingers a little bit. You can focus on each one individually,
- 4:53:37Speaker 3: both hands, and even though if you focus on both
- 4:53:44Speaker 3: of your hands now they almost seem to just melt
- 4:53:50Speaker 3: into one. Where there is your right hand. Start in
- 4:53:58Speaker 3: your left hand end, almost as if just mixed together. Now,
- 4:54:14Speaker 3: focusing on your knees, just noticing how your knees fell. Now,
- 4:54:42Speaker 3: focusing on your elbows, focusing on both of your elbows,
- 4:54:56Speaker 3: just observing the feet thing elmos. Now focusing absurding the
- 4:55:33Speaker 3: back of your neck, feeding that energy the back of
- 4:55:49Speaker 3: your neck, absurd your ankles, being aware of physical sensations
- 4:56:41Speaker 3: in your ankles, not to say, no, its.
- 4:57:54Speaker 10: Go who you think?
- 4:58:02Speaker 3: Being aware how your taste feel right now, not to then,
- 4:58:58Speaker 3: how are you in time, body feels noticing your mind
- 4:59:24Speaker 3: feels now letting go, letting go, letting go everything, letting go,
- 5:00:28Speaker 3: letting go, letting go everything everything. I'm going to start now,
- 5:01:05Speaker 3: and I'd like you, just, first of all, just to
- 5:01:07Speaker 3: see yourself lying down on that message table, lying on
- 5:01:15Speaker 3: your front. Your head is supported, your arms are supported,
- 5:01:25Speaker 3: and you feel comfortable and breathing is really easy, and
- 5:01:31Speaker 3: you feel you feel confident in how you look as well.
- 5:01:38Speaker 3: So there's none of that issue of body problems or shyness,
- 5:01:44Speaker 3: because I'm a professional and this is a therapy session,
- 5:01:52Speaker 3: so none of that stuff matters whatsoever. This is about you.
- 5:02:03Speaker 3: This is about how you feel and how you can
- 5:02:10Speaker 3: enjoy that sense of comfort and relaxation that comes from
- 5:02:18Speaker 3: letting go and allowing my hands and my fingers to
- 5:02:23Speaker 3: relax you by a message your body. So I want
- 5:02:35Speaker 3: to start off just by placing my hands on the
- 5:02:40Speaker 3: back of your head, just gently, just you can feel
- 5:02:45Speaker 3: what my hands feel like really on you. So you
- 5:02:53Speaker 3: can maybe feel the warmth of my hands on the
- 5:02:56Speaker 3: back of your head. And with my hands to the
- 5:03:01Speaker 3: side of your head, not pressing, but just holding there
- 5:03:05Speaker 3: very gently, maybe over your ears, and a little bit
- 5:03:11Speaker 3: on your face, just so you can feel my hands
- 5:03:18Speaker 3: so you can become accustomed.
- 5:03:21Speaker 18: To them.
- 5:03:30Speaker 3: And now put my hands on the back of your
- 5:03:33Speaker 3: head again and gently let them slide down onto the
- 5:03:40Speaker 3: back of your neck. You can feel my hands gently
- 5:03:57Speaker 3: stroking the back of your neck to start, just so
- 5:04:04Speaker 3: you can get used to the feeling with my hands
- 5:04:09Speaker 3: on your skin, get accustomed to realize that you're safe
- 5:04:18Speaker 3: and it's all good, it's all fine. And I'm going
- 5:04:27Speaker 3: to start gently messaging the muscles in the back of
- 5:04:31Speaker 3: your neck with both hands. Now, this is a very
- 5:04:47Speaker 3: trusting situation really, because our necks are so fragile and
- 5:04:55Speaker 3: to have someone have their hands around your neck in
- 5:04:59Speaker 3: the way can sometimes be problematic for people, which is
- 5:05:05Speaker 3: why massages are quite good because it allows you to
- 5:05:09Speaker 3: relax and to get in touch with trust, to feel
- 5:05:24Speaker 3: peaceful and calm. And there's a massage the sides of
- 5:05:36Speaker 3: your neck gently moving from the bottom of your neck.
- 5:05:46Speaker 3: It would be sort of near where your shoulders start,
- 5:05:48Speaker 3: I guess, all the way up to your jaw, your ears,
- 5:05:56Speaker 3: kind of area that side of your neck. Of course,
- 5:06:01Speaker 3: it's a lot longer than the front of your neck.
- 5:06:17Speaker 3: The message in the back of your neck, especially that
- 5:06:24Speaker 3: area where perhaps we hold tension, and as that area's message,
- 5:06:34Speaker 3: you can actually feel a sense of release in the
- 5:06:38Speaker 3: back of your neck, and maybe you can breathe it
- 5:06:46Speaker 3: out as well. Notice how it feels. Notice how you feel.
- 5:07:02Speaker 3: Then moving down to that area between your neck and
- 5:07:06Speaker 3: your shoulders, that musty area, starting to message that area
- 5:07:16Speaker 3: on both sides. I mean, this would be the area
- 5:07:20Speaker 3: that a lot of people would message if they were
- 5:07:23Speaker 3: going to give you like a shoulder message. Even that's
- 5:07:28Speaker 3: not technically the shoulders, but it's all the muscles that
- 5:07:32Speaker 3: lead to the shoulders from the neck and again that
- 5:07:38Speaker 3: can hold tension and stress, and when massaged sometimes a
- 5:07:45Speaker 3: nice deep message is useful, and you decide how deep
- 5:07:53Speaker 3: that message is, and just allow my knuckles just to
- 5:08:11Speaker 3: dig in to get to those muscles and to reading
- 5:08:19Speaker 3: relaxed all the time being firm yet gentle with you
- 5:08:39Speaker 3: and just stroking down the area to your actual shoulders,
- 5:08:48Speaker 3: moving to the muscles of your shoulders, and maybe initially
- 5:08:58Speaker 3: just pulling up the shoulders a little bit off the
- 5:09:02Speaker 3: table just to give you a little bit of a stretch,
- 5:09:08Speaker 3: but very gently. And you've got the muscles at the
- 5:09:16Speaker 3: front of your shoulders, the sides and the back. Again,
- 5:09:29Speaker 3: this is a part that can really take quite a
- 5:09:32Speaker 3: bit of pressure, quite a bit of needing. If if
- 5:09:41Speaker 3: you wish to really release the tension to really get
- 5:09:49Speaker 3: into those muscles, and you can let your fingers in there.
- 5:09:57Speaker 3: You can feel really nice sometimes just being stroked gently
- 5:10:04Speaker 3: or being massaged quite strongly. It can all be beneficial
- 5:10:14Speaker 3: to the realxation with the muscles in your shoulders. Now
- 5:10:33Speaker 3: to move down your arms, we do one arm at
- 5:10:42Speaker 3: a time, starting with your right arm. Well, I DearS,
- 5:10:53Speaker 3: I just lift your arm up, just hold it to
- 5:10:57Speaker 3: the side of you that would still be attached, and
- 5:11:05Speaker 3: I just message the tops of your arms all the
- 5:11:19Speaker 3: way down to your forearms, into your wrists, gently massaging
- 5:11:44Speaker 3: that part, the softer part, which is the under part
- 5:11:50Speaker 3: of the arm, which leads to the crease in your
- 5:11:56Speaker 3: robo the inside. It's much more sensitive skin. Sometimes just
- 5:12:12Speaker 3: having that stroked, I feel really nice, pleasurable and relaxing.
- 5:12:31Speaker 3: Now moving down to your right hand, just holding your
- 5:12:42Speaker 3: hand in both of my hands, just pressing gently on
- 5:12:55Speaker 3: the back of your hand and stretching your finger is
- 5:13:02Speaker 3: ever slightly at the same time, pressing down a message
- 5:13:11Speaker 3: in each finger and then starting to massage the palms
- 5:13:25Speaker 3: of your hand. Just turning the hand gently, stretching it gently,
- 5:13:43Speaker 3: and actually having your hand held can really be an
- 5:13:48Speaker 3: emotional experience sometimes, even if it is a stranger, so
- 5:13:56Speaker 3: when you don't know very well, like a massage person
- 5:14:00Speaker 3: or a therapist, maybe because it's intimate and you can
- 5:14:13Speaker 3: feel nice, you can feel safe. And as I put
- 5:14:26Speaker 3: that right arm back down where it was, we're gonna
- 5:14:35Speaker 3: do the same with your left arm, exactly the same
- 5:14:46Speaker 3: message in the muscles in your arm, all the way
- 5:14:51Speaker 3: down to your wrist, stroking the inside of your arm,
- 5:15:05Speaker 3: just being gentle or as firm as you require and
- 5:15:18Speaker 3: then massaging your left hand, stretching the fingers, gently massaging
- 5:15:35Speaker 3: the palm of your left hand. You feel so so relaxing,
- 5:16:02Speaker 3: so comforting, and I just rest your left down, back down.
- 5:16:28Speaker 3: Start to massage your back, the biggest part of your body,
- 5:16:39Speaker 3: starting at the top, starting again where we already been,
- 5:16:47Speaker 3: the area at the top in between his shoulders, k
- 5:16:52Speaker 3: near your neck. Going back the message in that area again,
- 5:16:58Speaker 3: but this time moving downwards, taking a downward stroke to
- 5:17:12Speaker 3: the middle of your back, working from the outside inwards.
- 5:17:20Speaker 3: It's a massage in the your back, but the the
- 5:17:26Speaker 3: outsides of your back, the parts where your arms would
- 5:17:37Speaker 3: maybe rest against, almost the path that connects your front
- 5:17:50Speaker 3: to your back. Just messaging down firmly but gently, as
- 5:18:08Speaker 3: firm as you want, moving down and moving across a
- 5:18:16Speaker 3: little bit, and moving all the way down again, being
- 5:18:20Speaker 3: very gentle yet firm as you choose. Eventually we get
- 5:18:33Speaker 3: to the spine. We can message the muscles and either
- 5:18:38Speaker 3: side of your spine from the top of your neck
- 5:18:42Speaker 3: all the way down to your lower back. We can
- 5:18:53Speaker 3: do that a few times. Sometimes people use the knuckle
- 5:19:04Speaker 3: or the you know, two fingers and just go your
- 5:19:08Speaker 3: side of the spine almost just push down, go all
- 5:19:14Speaker 3: the way down to the bottom of the spine, each
- 5:19:18Speaker 3: time releasing tension and opening up the body, stretching your
- 5:19:28Speaker 3: body so that you feel more relaxed but at the
- 5:19:35Speaker 3: same time rejuvenated. And now I'm going to move to
- 5:19:52Speaker 3: one side, to your right side, from the bottom of
- 5:20:00Speaker 3: your ribs to your pelvis. I'm going to massage that
- 5:20:07Speaker 3: area of your back. I'll stretch over the other side
- 5:20:13Speaker 3: and i will pull the muscles gently and massage and
- 5:20:18Speaker 3: push from one end that side or way to my
- 5:20:23Speaker 3: side to the middle of fact to where your spine is.
- 5:20:29Speaker 3: Massaging that side of your spine the opposite side to
- 5:20:35Speaker 3: where I'm standing. It's almost like kneading bread. There's that
- 5:20:43Speaker 3: big area which is firm yet lots there to massage.
- 5:20:55Speaker 3: Potentially one of the most important places to actually have
- 5:21:00Speaker 3: a message because you really feel it. You really feel
- 5:21:08Speaker 3: the release and the pleasure of having your lower back massaged.
- 5:21:16Speaker 3: It releases so much from your body that's not useful,
- 5:21:25Speaker 3: starting a healing process which will continue long after this
- 5:21:31Speaker 3: recording is over. A message in this part of your
- 5:21:43Speaker 3: body not only feels really good for you, it's actually
- 5:21:49Speaker 3: fun to do because it is as I said, like
- 5:21:53Speaker 3: kneading bread, it's a part that you can really get
- 5:21:58Speaker 3: hold of and really message deeply. If that's your choice,
- 5:22:14Speaker 3: then I'm going to move over to the other side
- 5:22:15Speaker 3: of your body and do the same with the opposite
- 5:22:22Speaker 3: part of your lawer back, kneading and messaging from your
- 5:22:32Speaker 3: sides all the way to the middle of your back
- 5:22:39Speaker 3: where your spine is pressing and kneading firm and gentle
- 5:22:53Speaker 3: at the same time. It feels so releasing this mixture
- 5:23:02Speaker 3: of pleasure, comfort, release, calmness, relaxation or mixed together. Plus
- 5:23:18Speaker 3: there's that feeling from your stomach as it's being stretched.
- 5:23:24Speaker 3: Even though you're in your stomach now, you can feel
- 5:23:27Speaker 3: it being stretched because that whole area is connected to
- 5:23:31Speaker 3: your stomach. Now we're going to move or move further
- 5:23:43Speaker 3: up to your top of your body, and I we
- 5:23:48Speaker 3: did the same this time, starting with your upper back.
- 5:23:56Speaker 3: Put my hands forward over and massage in that area
- 5:24:05Speaker 3: up to your spine, from the side of your body
- 5:24:09Speaker 3: up to your spine. So some of that massage area,
- 5:24:14Speaker 3: the muscle tissue or whatever fatty tissue even will be
- 5:24:21Speaker 3: possibly from your chest. There's all connected chest and the
- 5:24:26Speaker 3: back connect together. I'm going to be massaging and just
- 5:24:33Speaker 3: pulling some of that skin from your side up and
- 5:24:40Speaker 3: massaging that area of your upper back all the way
- 5:24:49Speaker 3: to your spine. And then I'll move down a bit and
- 5:24:55Speaker 3: I'll continue with the middle of your back, doing exactly
- 5:24:59Speaker 3: the same thing as gentle, as deep as you choose.
- 5:25:17Speaker 3: Now move or the other side again and do the
- 5:25:21Speaker 3: exact same thing with the top of your back on
- 5:25:25Speaker 3: the other side, from pretty much underneath your arm area
- 5:25:35Speaker 3: really to your spine. I then continue in that all
- 5:25:50Speaker 3: the way down, including your lower your middle of your back.
- 5:26:09Speaker 3: I'm gonna go to your thighs, the backs of your thighs,
- 5:26:16Speaker 3: and the sides of your thighs, starting with your right leg.
- 5:26:26Speaker 3: Massage in the back and the sides of your thighs
- 5:26:36Speaker 3: gently and firmly. There's a lot of muscles there. It's
- 5:26:43Speaker 3: an area that can be very tense at times and
- 5:26:46Speaker 3: maybe needs a little bit more pressure than the rest
- 5:26:49Speaker 3: of the body that's up to you. You can gently
- 5:26:58Speaker 3: stroke the back of your legs where you know, opposite
- 5:27:05Speaker 3: your knee joint or underneath your knee joint, very sensitive,
- 5:27:11Speaker 3: gentle area. And then working down to your calf muscles
- 5:27:26Speaker 3: massage in your calf muscles thoroughly and deeply, if you choose,
- 5:27:36Speaker 3: using both hands and fingers, digging deep to your ankles,
- 5:27:55Speaker 3: in the back of your back of your ankles, just
- 5:28:01Speaker 3: gently message in the area, maybe lifting the leg and
- 5:28:14Speaker 3: stretching a little bit. Moving to the right foot, massaging
- 5:28:40Speaker 3: the bottom of your feet and the size of your
- 5:28:47Speaker 3: feet gently but firm enough so they don't tickle, and
- 5:29:03Speaker 3: just allow the pleasure that you get from having your
- 5:29:09Speaker 3: feet massage to just overtake you as I continue to
- 5:29:18Speaker 3: message your feet, the bottoms of your feet, the sides,
- 5:29:27Speaker 3: your arches, your heel. You can put a lot of
- 5:29:33Speaker 3: pressure into your heel and it feels amazing, yet the
- 5:29:39Speaker 3: arches need to be a bit more gentle. Stretching your
- 5:29:48Speaker 3: toes gently and massage in the bottoms of your toes
- 5:29:55Speaker 3: with my fingers, each one individually. Moving over to the
- 5:30:10Speaker 3: left leg to do exactly the same thing. Starting at
- 5:30:20Speaker 3: the top of the thighs, work in the back of
- 5:30:24Speaker 3: the thighs and the sides, massaging deeply and gently the
- 5:30:32Speaker 3: whole area, working all the way down. And this is
- 5:30:46Speaker 3: an area that maybe you could like to spend more
- 5:30:52Speaker 3: time relaxing and massaging, So perhaps if you wanted like
- 5:31:01Speaker 3: a bigger future recording where spend more time on one
- 5:31:06Speaker 3: particular area. As you move down to your calf muscles,
- 5:31:24Speaker 3: massage in your calf muscles firmly and gently, moving down
- 5:31:40Speaker 3: your ancor into your feet, Massage in the backs of
- 5:31:46Speaker 3: your feet, bottoms of your feet, stretching your toes, and
- 5:31:57Speaker 3: massage in each tone. The picture and the feeling of
- 5:32:04Speaker 3: pleasure and release that you experience when your having your
- 5:32:10Speaker 3: feet messaged feels really good now should turn over in
- 5:32:31Speaker 3: your mind. Laying on your back, I'm just going to
- 5:32:42Speaker 3: start again for your neck area, in your shoulders, just
- 5:32:59Speaker 3: to get back in touch with that area. And as
- 5:33:10Speaker 3: you move up, I can clean my hands, make them
- 5:33:22Speaker 3: more fresh, because now I'm gonna message your face gently,
- 5:33:32Speaker 3: starting off with your forehead. Your eyes are closed and
- 5:33:43Speaker 3: I can just stretch your eyes a little bit, pushing
- 5:33:49Speaker 3: up on your eyebrows, just massaging around just scalp, massaging
- 5:34:06Speaker 3: down your cheeks, around your ears, into your chaw, gently
- 5:34:21Speaker 3: the side of your neck, your chin m hm, and
- 5:34:38Speaker 3: just moving down from your neck down to your chest,
- 5:34:50Speaker 3: starting by massage in the very top of your chest
- 5:34:57Speaker 3: where the collar bone is give a side to the
- 5:35:02Speaker 3: collar bone, and then just message in the hole of
- 5:35:14Speaker 3: the chest, moving the chest around. Because it's quite a
- 5:35:35Speaker 3: large area, you can move from one side to the next,
- 5:35:45Speaker 3: moving my hands underneath pretty much where your arms are
- 5:35:55Speaker 3: stretching up, stretching some of them muscles of your back
- 5:36:01Speaker 3: in the process, moving up over your chest and they're
- 5:36:14Speaker 3: moving down again, and then allowing my hands the just
- 5:36:31Speaker 3: massage gently and slide down towards your stomach, starting in
- 5:36:39Speaker 3: the middle of your chest, and then gradually my hands
- 5:36:46Speaker 3: moving apart and massage in and slide in at the
- 5:36:53Speaker 3: same time, moving down to just below your rib cage,
- 5:37:11Speaker 3: moving down, then messaging up again, giving your chest all
- 5:37:21Speaker 3: the attention that it needs to feel completely relaxed, remembering them.
- 5:37:38Speaker 3: I'm also going to be focusing on your sides as well,
- 5:37:44Speaker 3: an area that really doesn't get much attention but feels
- 5:37:50Speaker 3: really good when it's massaged. Just stroking my hands down
- 5:38:00Speaker 3: the sides of your body, just below your arms, all
- 5:38:08Speaker 3: the way down to your hips. Now move into your
- 5:38:20Speaker 3: stomach area. I'm going to stand one side of you
- 5:38:26Speaker 3: like I did when I did your lower back. We
- 5:38:31Speaker 3: gonna do a similar process of just stretching the muscles
- 5:38:36Speaker 3: from your side, gently massaging from one side to the next,
- 5:38:52Speaker 3: move in a whole area from below your ribs or
- 5:38:59Speaker 3: the way down to blow your belly button, and then
- 5:39:10Speaker 3: move around to the other side of you and repeat
- 5:39:13Speaker 3: that process of relaxing deeply, calmly. You feel loose, you
- 5:39:33Speaker 3: feel free. And it's something about having your stomach message
- 5:39:40Speaker 3: that's different from any other part because we do have
- 5:39:47Speaker 3: a tendency of holding a different kind of stress in
- 5:39:52Speaker 3: our stomachs that we may not be aware of. As
- 5:40:01Speaker 3: I now massage your stomach in front of your stomach,
- 5:40:09Speaker 3: making circles around your belly button, and then go the
- 5:40:20Speaker 3: other way around, there's a gentleness and a freedom that
- 5:40:30Speaker 3: comes from feeling how you're feeling. As I now move
- 5:40:42Speaker 3: down the tops of your thighs the muscles massaging them,
- 5:40:50Speaker 3: and I can do this two legs at the same time,
- 5:40:56Speaker 3: pressing down, massaging deeply those muscles in your thighs at
- 5:41:05Speaker 3: front of your thighs, and moving down to your knees,
- 5:41:15Speaker 3: gently massaging your knees, sliding down your shins, putting pressure
- 5:41:28Speaker 3: on either side of your shin gently softly but firmly,
- 5:41:40Speaker 3: moving down to your ankles, stroking the tops of your feet,
- 5:41:56Speaker 3: and then with each foot in each hand, just gently
- 5:42:01Speaker 3: messaging the whole of the foot, the top, the bottom,
- 5:42:10Speaker 3: your heel, your ankle, your toes, messaging every part of
- 5:42:19Speaker 3: your feet. It feels so good just to let go
- 5:42:28Speaker 3: and enjoy the process, enjoy feeling so deeply relaxed, so
- 5:42:53Speaker 3: much comfort, and so many feelings that come just from
- 5:43:00Speaker 3: touching your skin. And you can just lie there for
- 5:43:16Speaker 3: as long as you choose, enjoying the feeling of deep
- 5:43:26Speaker 3: comfort and being massaged. Bite me, enjoy feeling deeply light.
- 5:44:02Speaker 3: And all we're gonna do is blow out some candles.
- 5:44:11Speaker 3: In your mind, there are going to be a hundred candles,
- 5:44:33Speaker 3: and you're going to blow each one out individually, one
- 5:44:39Speaker 3: by one, starting at one hundred. As I count down
- 5:44:52Speaker 3: all the way down to one, and each time I
- 5:44:59Speaker 3: say a number, you can imagine that candle in front
- 5:45:08Speaker 3: of you, and I'd like you to actually physically gently
- 5:45:19Speaker 3: blow that candle out, just h It's not big blows,
- 5:45:35Speaker 3: just a gentle, and that candle will extinguish. And then
- 5:45:49Speaker 3: I'll say the next number to move down and you
- 5:45:57Speaker 3: can just hkay, blow that one out as well. And
- 5:46:09Speaker 3: as we move down the numbers, you'll find yourself feeling
- 5:46:19Speaker 3: more and more relaxed. If you need to sleep, you'll
- 5:46:28Speaker 3: also find yourself becoming incredibly tired and sleepy. In fact,
- 5:46:40Speaker 3: you may struggle to blow out all one hundred of
- 5:46:50Speaker 3: these candles. As you feel more and more deeply relaxed,
- 5:47:15Speaker 3: more and more deeply tired, And the further you go down,
- 5:47:36Speaker 3: the more your mind starts to drift. You may find
- 5:47:50Speaker 3: that you stop listening to me after a while. And
- 5:48:05Speaker 3: even though there may be background sounds where you are,
- 5:48:14Speaker 3: you'll be aware of those sounds at the moment.
- 5:48:25Speaker 20: Be me.
- 5:48:29Speaker 3: Start to just not even notice them at all, because
- 5:48:44Speaker 3: they're unimportant. Where I am, I've got the sounds of
- 5:48:57Speaker 3: the birds, there's horrors, the pigeon who likes to say
- 5:49:05Speaker 3: hello sometimes, and there's the odd plane that goes by,
- 5:49:14Speaker 3: maybe traffic and trains in the distance. But none of
- 5:49:27Speaker 3: that scene is important whatsoever. More candles you blow out
- 5:49:42Speaker 3: less important. Anything is more candles you blow out. The
- 5:49:59Speaker 3: fair the seemed to move away from sounds and from
- 5:50:15Speaker 3: general date days. Stuff seems to just move away on
- 5:50:29Speaker 3: its own. You feel more calmer with every candle you
- 5:50:46Speaker 3: blow out m guiding you to the next number. Do
- 5:51:05Speaker 3: you hear me say? And then you blow that candle
- 5:51:15Speaker 3: out to So easy, so simple. We're gonna start by
- 5:51:47Speaker 3: introducing the first candle, which is a hundred.
- 5:51:59Speaker 1: Mm.
- 5:52:00Speaker 3: First candles one hundred. When you blow that candle out,
- 5:52:22Speaker 3: you'll find immediately a slight change in how you feel,
- 5:52:39Speaker 3: as well as a real sense of positivity growing within you,
- 5:52:54Speaker 3: relaxation and sleepiness expanding. Starting with one hundred, flow out
- 5:53:24Speaker 3: my candle now ninety nine, candle ninety eight, can do
- 5:54:30Speaker 3: ninety seven, candle ninety six, ten ninety five, hand ninety four,

- 6:25:26Speaker 3: Canto thirty five, candle thirty four, candle thirty three, handle
- 6:27:36Speaker 3: thirty one, chandle thirty and two in ten nine, ten,
- 6:30:30Speaker 3: twenty eight and twenty seven and twenty six, candle twenty five, choin.
- 6:33:43Speaker 4: T f.
- 6:34:18Speaker 3: End twenty thre and two, twin deep two and twenty
- 6:35:42Speaker 3: wane and witi.
- 6:37:01Speaker 21: En end.
- 6:37:29Speaker 3: Ninety, chendle seventeen sixteen, chancel fourteen ten and eleven ten, Yeah, jame.
- 6:44:29Speaker 12: Nine two.
- 6:45:33Speaker 3: Eight s six, can't do, can do woo and do
- 6:48:40Speaker 3: hey seven.
- 6:49:49Speaker 11: Two can't.
- 6:50:53Speaker 3: Let go of all of those thoughts, worries conceit and
- 6:51:00Speaker 3: about the past, thoughts about the future, and even things
- 6:51:07Speaker 3: you've been thinking about today. Just let it all go
- 6:51:15Speaker 3: because none of it is useful in this moment. This
- 6:51:23Speaker 3: is your opportunity to just focus on feeling relaxed, allowing
- 6:51:42Speaker 3: yourself to get in touch with that natural sense of
- 6:51:51Speaker 3: peace that we all have within us. It's available for everyone.
- 6:52:00Speaker 3: It just sometimes takes a little bit of effort to
- 6:52:06Speaker 3: set up the right time and place in order for
- 6:52:12Speaker 3: you to just let go. Because when you do decide
- 6:52:21Speaker 3: to let go and relax, that's what your body starts
- 6:52:26Speaker 3: to do because you've chosen, You've chosen to just allow
- 6:52:37Speaker 3: your body to unwind and your mind starts to slow down.
- 6:52:46Speaker 3: And it's a nice feeling. It's a nice feeling at
- 6:52:50Speaker 3: the beginning, just to know that you have chosen to
- 6:52:56Speaker 3: decide to relax deeply, and because you've made that decision,
- 6:53:07Speaker 3: your body will just follow suit. Because sometimes all the
- 6:53:15Speaker 3: muscles in your body need is just permission from you
- 6:53:20Speaker 3: to relax. Because so often we're busy, we're going from
- 6:53:29Speaker 3: here to there, we're walking around and we're doing stuff,
- 6:53:35Speaker 3: and the body doesn't have any time or space to
- 6:53:42Speaker 3: really relax deeply. So it kind of waits for you
- 6:53:49Speaker 3: to lead the way, waits for your permission. And when
- 6:53:58Speaker 3: you do give your permission, when you give to say so,
- 6:54:05Speaker 3: when you say okay, it's time for your body to
- 6:54:13Speaker 3: let go completely and relax totally, your body just follows.
- 6:54:25Speaker 3: It's like a breath of relief. Ah good, I can
- 6:54:30Speaker 3: now relax. That feeling at the end of a day,
- 6:54:37Speaker 3: of a very physical day that you may experience in
- 6:54:41Speaker 3: the past. But you get home and you just sit
- 6:54:45Speaker 3: down on a chair, maybe you kick your shoes off
- 6:54:49Speaker 3: and not ah, feels so nice. Know that you don't
- 6:54:56Speaker 3: have to get up again for a little while at
- 6:54:59Speaker 3: least if you choose, you can just sit there for
- 6:55:03Speaker 3: maybe an hour to feels blissful. And just by sitting
- 6:55:16Speaker 3: down like that, your body knows that it's time to relax.
- 6:55:23Speaker 3: Your body has been given permission from you because it's
- 6:55:29Speaker 3: a mindset in your mind, you're prepared to let go
- 6:55:39Speaker 3: of everything and just completely allow all the stress of
- 6:55:50Speaker 3: your body to evaporate. Any tensions can just gradually vanish.
- 6:56:08Speaker 3: It's almost like magic, really, because that sense of relaxation
- 6:56:20Speaker 3: in your body is a very natural state. It's not
- 6:56:26Speaker 3: something unusual. It may feel unusual when you first start
- 6:56:31Speaker 3: to relax if you if you haven't really spent a
- 6:56:36Speaker 3: lot of time focusing and giving yourself this space to
- 6:56:40Speaker 3: let go completely and relax, and they seem are most alien,
- 6:56:47Speaker 3: but it isn't. It's actually the most natural thing in
- 6:56:53Speaker 3: the world to let go completely, to relax totally, the
- 6:57:04Speaker 3: most natural thing in the world to allow yourself to
- 6:57:15Speaker 3: feel really calm in your mind. And it is almost
- 6:57:23Speaker 3: like a literal unwinding. It's like you press a button
- 6:57:33Speaker 3: and all the tension just releases, and it's like a wheel,
- 6:57:40Speaker 3: like a cog, like the inside of a clock, just unwinding.
- 6:57:45Speaker 3: And it's almost like you could see the little wind
- 6:57:49Speaker 3: up knob that's used just going the opposite way that
- 6:57:55Speaker 3: you choose to wind it up, and the energy that
- 6:58:01Speaker 3: premetic stress for energy gradually winding down, losing its power,
- 6:58:12Speaker 3: losing its strength. As a sense of relaxation becomes stronger
- 6:58:21Speaker 3: and deeper, and you may find a the more relaxed
- 6:58:32Speaker 3: you feel, that your mind starts to wonder, maybe just
- 6:58:43Speaker 3: seem to stop listening to me for a while. Your
- 6:58:47Speaker 3: mind goes somewhere else. And then you realize you're listening
- 6:58:53Speaker 3: to me again, and that is just your mind drifting
- 6:58:59Speaker 3: to sleep, which is quite natural, because sometimes when we're
- 6:59:11Speaker 3: stressed and tense, we're not may I actually be aware
- 6:59:17Speaker 3: of what we need, what we physically or emotionally need
- 6:59:24Speaker 3: in this moment. But when you allow your body and
- 6:59:32Speaker 3: mind to relax completely and you let go of all thoughts, concerns, worries, ideas,
- 6:59:44Speaker 3: all letting them go allow them to drop onto the floor.
- 6:59:54Speaker 3: When you start to get in touch with the feelings
- 7:00:00Speaker 3: of such relaxation, this feels so nice to be in
- 7:00:12Speaker 3: touch with the calmness of the different body parts as
- 7:00:19Speaker 3: they become looser and looser. Even your breathing seems easier
- 7:00:36Speaker 3: and more natural, effortless, as that cool air enters through
- 7:00:45Speaker 3: your mouth or nose into your lungs, breathing in comforts
- 7:00:54Speaker 3: and relaxation, and then just breathing out any excess remain
- 7:01:03Speaker 3: intentional stress from every part of your body and mind.
- 7:01:15Speaker 3: And as you start to focus on your mind, maybe
- 7:01:20Speaker 3: you notice that things have come to a standstill or
- 7:01:27Speaker 3: maybe just much much lower than before, because your mind
- 7:01:37Speaker 3: is not really needed when listening to my voice, which
- 7:01:47Speaker 3: allows your mind to relax just as deeply as your body,
- 7:01:57Speaker 3: and that's synchronicity between the relaxation of your body and
- 7:02:08Speaker 3: relaxation of your mind. Let you know that feeling completely calm, loose,
- 7:02:22Speaker 3: and relaxed really is a great healing experience fear and
- 7:02:36Speaker 3: has so many positive benefits for your body, mind, and
- 7:02:49Speaker 3: your life. To be able to let go everything and
- 7:02:58Speaker 3: to relax completely in all parts of your body and mind.
- 7:03:10Speaker 3: Even your bones are relaxed, all your muscles are rexed,
- 7:03:26Speaker 3: even the skin that covers your body.
- 7:03:33Speaker 11: Is relaxed.
- 7:03:39Speaker 3: Every hair.
- 7:03:43Speaker 1: That you have.
- 7:03:45Speaker 3: Is also deeply relaxed. And your brain really start to
- 7:04:03Speaker 3: feel the benefit.
- 7:04:07Speaker 10: Of this.
- 7:04:09Speaker 3: Healing relaxation. And then as you focus on the inside
- 7:04:21Speaker 3: of your scalp where your brain is, you can start
- 7:04:27Speaker 3: to realize and notice the benefits of your brain relaxing deeply. Then,
- 7:04:41Speaker 3: as your brain continues to relax sends those messages to
- 7:04:53Speaker 3: the rest of your body and your mind to re
- 7:05:02Speaker 3: relax even more deeply, relaxing more completely, letting go of
- 7:05:24Speaker 3: any remaining force or concense, allowed them just to drop
- 7:05:36Speaker 3: onto the floor because they are no longer necessary in
- 7:05:44Speaker 3: this moment, In this moment of deep relaxation and calmness,
- 7:05:57Speaker 3: filling your brain with deep concentrated heathing, calming, relaxing every
- 7:06:25Speaker 3: part of your brain feething so loose and comfortable, so
- 7:06:43Speaker 3: relaxed and peaceful. Your brain feels so light and so
- 7:06:58Speaker 3: healthy in a sense of deep deep comfort. Really does
- 7:07:11Speaker 3: allow you to enjoy those ever increasing sensations of comfort
- 7:07:27Speaker 3: that are spreading throughout your body, relaxing each and every
- 7:07:40Speaker 3: muscle of your body.
- 7:07:44Speaker 20: E.
- 7:07:46Speaker 3: Deeper and deeper, much more deeper than for.
- 7:08:04Speaker 21: Much more.
- 7:08:07Speaker 3: Comfort spreading through your body in your mind, be so
- 7:08:23Speaker 3: peaceful and calm, so very very peaceful, in avery part
- 7:08:42Speaker 3: of your body, letting go h a everything and everything
- 7:08:57Speaker 3: so peaceful and calm, so relax a very second the
- 7:09:15Speaker 3: passes you feel.
- 7:09:21Speaker 25: Dper, deper relax, dper and deper relax.
- 7:09:43Speaker 3: Came so calm, peace for so very peaceful, from your
- 7:10:02Speaker 3: head down to your tes, such peace and comfort throwing
- 7:10:15Speaker 3: all all the time, such peace and comfort spreading through
- 7:10:29Speaker 3: your body and mind deep and deeper, such comfort spreading
- 7:10:45Speaker 3: and sinking deeper into a muscle of your body. So
- 7:10:57Speaker 3: you feel amazing, so relaxed, so peaceful, sola and peaceful,
- 7:11:25Speaker 3: letting go every I'm gonna do a body scan, focusing
- 7:11:39Speaker 3: on firstly how you feel in your body. Not trying
- 7:11:45Speaker 3: to change how you feel, not trying to relax, not
- 7:11:52Speaker 3: trying to move away from any discomfort or stress or tension.
- 7:11:59Speaker 3: Just accept it. Observing and accepting how you feel in
- 7:12:05Speaker 3: the different parts of your body, just allowing yourself to
- 7:12:12Speaker 3: be exactly as you are, to notice, to get in
- 7:12:19Speaker 3: touch with how you actually feel in this moment. I'm
- 7:12:31Speaker 3: going to start off by focusing on your hands. Just
- 7:12:42Speaker 3: be aware of your hands. I'd like you to move
- 7:12:50Speaker 3: your hands around, just maybe move your fingers a little bit.
- 7:12:58Speaker 3: I've been enclosing your hands very gently, just so that
- 7:13:04Speaker 3: you can get in touch with how your hands and
- 7:13:12Speaker 3: your fingers fell, very very slow movements. Focusing now on
- 7:13:34Speaker 3: your feet, and if you can just do kind of
- 7:13:41Speaker 3: an equivalent with your feet is you've just done with
- 7:13:46Speaker 3: your hands, Maybe turn in your ankles, moving your feet around,
- 7:13:56Speaker 3: moving your toes gently but only very gently and very slowly,
- 7:14:10Speaker 3: noticing how your feet feel in this moment. Focusing now
- 7:14:25Speaker 3: and your eyes, and I like you to just focus
- 7:14:33Speaker 3: on your eyelids. Maybe you can open and close your
- 7:14:38Speaker 3: eyes a couple of times to really get in touch
- 7:14:43Speaker 3: with how you feel when you do close your eyes.
- 7:14:49Speaker 3: The muscle changes in your eyes when you do close them,
- 7:14:58Speaker 3: maybe raising your eye, it stretches the tops of your eyes,
- 7:15:08Speaker 3: perhaps squinting your eyes, scrunching up your eyes, just so
- 7:15:16Speaker 3: you can really again touch with all aspects of how
- 7:15:28Speaker 3: your eyes feel. Right now, now focus in on your thighs,
- 7:15:47Speaker 3: and it just starts you to gently tense your thighs,
- 7:15:53Speaker 3: just very very gently, just enough so you can become
- 7:16:04Speaker 3: more achuned to the physical sensation of your upper legs,
- 7:16:17Speaker 3: the front of your thighs, and the backs of your thighs.
- 7:16:25Speaker 3: Noticing and observing how your thighs fear. Right now, moving
- 7:16:45Speaker 3: your focus to the back of your neck, just noticing
- 7:16:53Speaker 3: the back of your neck the muscles, and of course
- 7:17:00Speaker 3: they lead to the side of your neck. They also
- 7:17:04Speaker 3: lead to the top of your back, which lead to
- 7:17:09Speaker 3: your shoulders. So as your focus on the back of
- 7:17:15Speaker 3: your neck, maybe you can move your head gently upwards
- 7:17:23Speaker 3: as if you're looking up, Maybe moving your head down
- 7:17:31Speaker 3: as if you're looking down. Perhaps moving your head side
- 7:17:37Speaker 3: to side, right to left, but only very slowly and
- 7:17:49Speaker 3: very gently. I'm not trying to force anything. It has
- 7:17:57Speaker 3: to be very very gentle, just so you can.
- 7:18:08Speaker 11: Be more.
- 7:18:11Speaker 3: In touch with the feelings, with the sensations, the physical
- 7:18:22Speaker 3: sensations of how the back of your neck feels. Right now,
- 7:18:39Speaker 3: as we now focus on the tops of your arms,
- 7:18:49Speaker 3: the parts where your biceps and your triceps are between
- 7:18:54Speaker 3: your elbow and your shoulders. Focus on those parts, the
- 7:19:03Speaker 3: tops of your arms. You may like to just tense them,
- 7:19:11Speaker 3: but very very gently and slowly. See you're not straining
- 7:19:22Speaker 3: or put in any pressure whatsoever on your arms. It's
- 7:19:33Speaker 3: just so that you can gain more of a sense
- 7:19:40Speaker 3: of how your upper arms are feeling in this moment,
- 7:19:54Speaker 3: and just noticing as you gently, very gently and slowly
- 7:20:06Speaker 3: tighten the muscles and then let go. Notice how the
- 7:20:18Speaker 3: tops of your arms feel right now. As a now
- 7:20:33Speaker 3: focus on your stomach, the area the lower abdomen area
- 7:20:44Speaker 3: below your belly button, moving all the way down to
- 7:20:52Speaker 3: your hips, just above your grind. Maybe you're able to
- 7:21:05Speaker 3: tense these muscles in the area very very gently and slowly,
- 7:21:23Speaker 3: if that's a difficult thing to do, and maybe you
- 7:21:27Speaker 3: can just move your body, pushing your stomach up, maybe
- 7:21:38Speaker 3: moving a little bit to the side using your hips,
- 7:21:44Speaker 3: just so you can get more in tune with how
- 7:21:52Speaker 3: you're lower aptomen area is to feeling in this moment,
- 7:22:11Speaker 3: just noticing the physical sensations or your lower abdomen as
- 7:22:34Speaker 3: you move your attention to your mouth, notice in your
- 7:22:47Speaker 3: lips and inside your mouth, your teeth, your guns, your tongue,
- 7:23:07Speaker 3: Just noticing how your tongue and your mouth feels. And
- 7:23:16Speaker 3: it may help by moving your tongue around your mouth,
- 7:23:25Speaker 3: moving it to your left, maybe pressing it gently against
- 7:23:32Speaker 3: the side of your mouth, and then to the right,
- 7:23:38Speaker 3: gently to the side of your mouth, perhaps pressing up
- 7:23:46Speaker 3: against the top of your mouth, and then down gently
- 7:23:54Speaker 3: against the bottom of your mouth. Aways very slowly and
- 7:24:05Speaker 3: a very very gentle so that you can be aware
- 7:24:25Speaker 3: of how you feel in your mouth area. Now I'm
- 7:24:47Speaker 3: going to focus on your wrists and I'm going to
- 7:25:03Speaker 3: ask you to maybe just rotate your wrists by moving
- 7:25:12Speaker 3: your hands in a circular motion very gently and slowly,
- 7:25:25Speaker 3: just so that you can feel the sensations that you
- 7:25:43Speaker 3: are currently experiencing in your rests. Perhaps move in your hands.
- 7:26:01Speaker 11: Up and down.
- 7:26:05Speaker 3: Again very very gently and slowly, very gentzl and slow.
- 7:26:46Speaker 3: As we now start to observe, you'll lower it back
- 7:27:02Speaker 3: the bad part is just above of your hips where
- 7:27:12Speaker 3: your coxis are a whole area which also really does
- 7:27:25Speaker 3: include the sides of your body, because those muscles are
- 7:27:32Speaker 3: very much connected as those muscles also move into your
- 7:27:44Speaker 3: hip aia connecting to your buttcks the sides of your hips,
- 7:28:01Speaker 3: and if you're physically able to do so, maybe you
- 7:28:09Speaker 3: can very gently just movebody ever so slightly, very slowly,
- 7:28:26Speaker 3: some side to side, just enough to gauge how you
- 7:28:44Speaker 3: feel in your lower back. Perhaps it cautive even move
- 7:29:02Speaker 3: your lips gently up and down gently slowly, in order to.
- 7:29:21Speaker 12: Be in touch.
- 7:29:25Speaker 3: With the physical sensations of your law back. As we
- 7:29:49Speaker 3: now move.
- 7:29:54Speaker 21: Your attention.
- 7:29:59Speaker 3: To your jaw, that area from your chin all the
- 7:30:07Speaker 3: way up so near where your ears are, the hole
- 7:30:15Speaker 3: of your jaw, you can just if it's okay to
- 7:30:30Speaker 3: do so, gently open your mouth, not wide, no stretching,
- 7:30:42Speaker 3: just very gently and slowly opening your mouth thing closing
- 7:30:55Speaker 3: your mouth very gently and slowly, so you can be
- 7:31:16Speaker 3: in touch with how your jaw feels. Now. Noticing now
- 7:32:01Speaker 3: your chest area, and you don't need to do anything
- 7:32:15Speaker 3: to move your chest because it moves every time you breathe,
- 7:32:27Speaker 3: and it moves very gently and slowly automatically with each
- 7:32:41Speaker 3: breath you take, as you focus on how your chest
- 7:33:01Speaker 3: fiel when you breathe, move in your focus to your forms,
- 7:33:45Speaker 3: your elbows. Maybe you're able to very gently, slowly tense
- 7:34:04Speaker 3: the muscles in your forearms, and when you do that,
- 7:34:12Speaker 3: you can feel your elbows as well. Very gently and slowly,
- 7:34:44Speaker 3: gently and softly obsad your forearms and del bas.
- 7:35:16Speaker 1: No.
- 7:35:24Speaker 3: I think you focus the rest of your back, your
- 7:35:38Speaker 3: upper back in the middle, the middle.
- 7:35:47Speaker 11: Of your back.
- 7:35:59Speaker 3: They gained this part of your body moves. Also every
- 7:36:10Speaker 3: time you breathe. You may not notice that. Usually les
- 7:36:26Speaker 3: you observe your upper back in the middle of your back,
- 7:36:37Speaker 3: you can really feel that gentle and slow movement. Moving
- 7:37:33Speaker 3: your focus into your hip area, your buttees, your brain.
- 7:37:48Speaker 3: There's muscles and those bones in your midsection. Just noticing
- 7:38:26Speaker 3: how your hips feel. Right now, you can very very
- 7:38:47Speaker 3: gently move your hips, maybe side to side, airy gently
- 7:39:02Speaker 3: and slow, very gently, softly and slowly, everything starts to
- 7:39:58Speaker 3: slow down, including the thoughts in your mind and your
- 7:40:10Speaker 3: mind itself just starts to gradually. It doesn't have to
- 7:40:20Speaker 3: be instant, but just gradually starting to It's almost like
- 7:40:28Speaker 3: time is storing chin. It's a slower pace to maybe
- 7:40:39Speaker 3: what you're used to in your day to day life.
- 7:40:48Speaker 3: It's a slower movement of energy, very small movements which
- 7:41:15Speaker 3: make up the larger movements, which is always the case. Now,
- 7:41:23Speaker 3: when you move your hand, it might seem like it's
- 7:41:28Speaker 3: one movement, but it's lots of minute different muscles moving
- 7:41:35Speaker 3: in accordance with each other. And what happens in this
- 7:41:46Speaker 3: space that we're sharing is we move from that big
- 7:42:06Speaker 3: movement into those smaller movements. Starting to focus on how
- 7:42:23Speaker 3: your body feels, not just as a whole, not just oh,
- 7:42:30Speaker 3: i'm feel in this way. I'm feeling stressed or tense,
- 7:42:35Speaker 3: or I'm feeling relaxed and calm. I'm feeling this way,
- 7:42:40Speaker 3: I'm feeling that way. Starting to notice that your body
- 7:42:51Speaker 3: begins to present to you small feelings around your body,
- 7:43:08Speaker 3: small physical sensations in your legs, whether pleasurable or not.
- 7:43:25Speaker 3: Maybe resisting the temptation to label them or to judge
- 7:43:34Speaker 3: them those feelings, just thinking them, thinking about them is
- 7:43:42Speaker 3: just being neutral, just feelings, not being particularly concerned, but
- 7:43:59Speaker 3: just the criticing what your body is telling you, the
- 7:44:14Speaker 3: feelings in your arms, instead of feeling the hole of
- 7:44:20Speaker 3: the arm. Maybe notice those individual feelings for all those
- 7:44:30Speaker 3: different muscles and the skin, the hairs of your arms,
- 7:44:43Speaker 3: all the internal parts of your arms, the veins, the bones,
- 7:45:00Speaker 3: just being aware of maybe your elbow on your right
- 7:45:07Speaker 3: arm has a certain feeling. Maybe your left wrist also
- 7:45:17Speaker 3: has its own individual physical sensation. What about your.
- 7:45:40Speaker 26: Forearm on your right arm, your right forearm, There may
- 7:45:54Speaker 26: not be any.
- 7:45:55Speaker 3: Particular feeling that you could even and give a name to,
- 7:46:06Speaker 3: may not feel like anything other than just a feeling.
- 7:46:11Speaker 3: You know, it's there. The feelings in your shoulders. Perhaps
- 7:46:23Speaker 3: your shoulders when you think about them, kind of almost
- 7:46:27Speaker 3: like they're the same, you know, the same feeling, almost
- 7:46:34Speaker 3: like you both of your shoulders are just one thing.
- 7:46:39Speaker 3: Of course they're not. And when you focus on your
- 7:46:50Speaker 3: left shoulder and then on your right shoulder, maybe find
- 7:46:58Speaker 3: that you move the muscles a little bit, maybe tense
- 7:47:04Speaker 3: the muscles gently, noticing the difference in each shoulder. Your
- 7:47:29Speaker 3: lower back, the left side of your lower back and
- 7:47:46Speaker 3: the right side of your lower back of course that
- 7:47:57Speaker 3: connection to your buttocks into your hips, and also moving
- 7:48:10Speaker 3: up into the middle of your back. And sometimes like
- 7:48:24Speaker 3: right now, actually when I focus on their part. When
- 7:48:29Speaker 3: I focused on my buttocks and then I focused on
- 7:48:35Speaker 3: the middle of my back, I almost felt like the
- 7:48:37Speaker 3: muscles in my lower back were being stretched very gently,
- 7:48:47Speaker 3: just stretched a little bit. Even though I wasn't doing
- 7:48:52Speaker 3: anything to try to stretch lower back, it just seemed
- 7:49:01Speaker 3: to happen. The feeling of very gently stretching your lower
- 7:49:14Speaker 3: back comes along. I have feeling in your chest, just
- 7:49:40Speaker 3: noticing what sensations you are experiencing in your chest right now.
- 7:50:07Speaker 3: And there's so much of the chest. Obviously, there's the
- 7:50:11Speaker 3: collar bone leading to the chest. You've got the chest bone,
- 7:50:18Speaker 3: You've got the muscles in your chest. Of course, if
- 7:50:26Speaker 3: you're female, there's possibly the breasts. If you're male, you've
- 7:50:34Speaker 3: got the different well why not that different these days.
- 7:50:40Speaker 20: But.
- 7:50:43Speaker 3: There may be more muscles at the top of the chest,
- 7:50:51Speaker 3: but at the side underneath it's pretty much the same.
- 7:50:56Speaker 3: Whether you're a man or a woman. There's muscles there, yeah,
- 7:51:01Speaker 3: muscles that stretch out to your back, as well as
- 7:51:06Speaker 3: breast tissue which stretches and moves into your back. To
- 7:51:15Speaker 3: just being aware of your chest, being with whatever feeling
- 7:51:34Speaker 3: there is in your chest. When I noticed that, I
- 7:51:54Speaker 3: focus on my chest I feel it in my back
- 7:52:02Speaker 3: and my upper back. I mean, I guess the obvious
- 7:52:06Speaker 3: reason would be because you know, I'll breathe in in
- 7:52:17Speaker 3: then it stretches my chest and my back at the
- 7:52:20Speaker 3: same time. It feels it feels okay, it doesn't feel
- 7:52:43Speaker 3: I got a little bit of pain in my right chest,
- 7:52:50Speaker 3: a little bit not pain, but a little discomfort, maybe
- 7:52:55Speaker 3: stiffness possibly, I don't know. I notice my shoulders are
- 7:53:03Speaker 3: also wanting to flex for some reason. I think that's
- 7:53:12Speaker 3: probably part of my upper back, that connection between my
- 7:53:20Speaker 3: shoulders my opper back, because I can move my shoulders
- 7:53:25Speaker 3: and stretch the muscles in my back, moving the shoulders
- 7:53:32Speaker 3: backwards or up, which then moves I think it's the
- 7:53:39Speaker 3: scapulous in your back. It feels quite nice. Actually, A
- 7:54:00Speaker 3: good thing about this is you can, if you want to,
- 7:54:04Speaker 3: you can just flex or stimulate the various muscles in
- 7:54:19Speaker 3: your body gently in order to get more of the
- 7:54:25Speaker 3: sense of how they feel. And when you're relaxing. When
- 7:54:40Speaker 3: you do tense and muscle and you let it go
- 7:54:44Speaker 3: and you let it relax, it relaxes way more than
- 7:54:53Speaker 3: it would normally. But you have to to feel that
- 7:55:03Speaker 3: you're able to do that, there's no point doing it
- 7:55:07Speaker 3: if there's an issue with the per part of your body.
- 7:55:16Speaker 3: You need to be gentle with yourself at all times
- 7:55:26Speaker 3: when relaxing deeply. It's important to be kind to yourself
- 7:55:45Speaker 3: as you notice your mind. How much has your mind
- 7:55:53Speaker 3: slowed down since we started this red How came and
- 7:56:21Speaker 3: peaceful is your mind right now? We have nothing to
- 7:56:32Speaker 3: think about and just my voice to listen to, because
- 7:56:42Speaker 3: you know, the intention behind this recording is relaxation. At
- 7:56:53Speaker 3: the very least, for you to feel more relaxed at
- 7:57:00Speaker 3: the end of the recording than you did at the beginning,
- 7:57:08Speaker 3: at the very least, for your mind to slow down
- 7:57:20Speaker 3: because your body continues to relax, because that's.
- 7:57:32Speaker 1: What you.
- 7:57:34Speaker 3: Want to happen. That's what you expect.
- 7:57:47Speaker 19: To happen.
- 7:57:54Speaker 3: For relaxation to fill your body, maybe calm your mind
- 7:58:14Speaker 3: to the point of boredom when you start maybe to
- 7:58:27Speaker 3: drift away. Drifting it's almost as if you're moving further
- 7:59:09Speaker 3: away from your body in your mind, just leaving that there,
- 7:59:25Speaker 3: kind of liking it an escape pod in the spaceship
- 7:59:30Speaker 3: and movie, a space movie. You know, when they get
- 7:59:33Speaker 3: into a little part in it. Since the month far
- 7:59:40Speaker 3: away from the spaceship, safe to dream, continue to relax,
- 8:00:29Speaker 3: drifting so slow.
- 8:01:03Speaker 10: And be so.
- 8:01:20Speaker 3: So and pea so, and focusing on.
- 8:01:57Speaker 1: That feeling.
- 8:02:06Speaker 3: Of those individual parts of your body that are relaxing.
- 8:02:18Speaker 3: One by one.
- 8:02:27Speaker 11: You may.
- 8:02:29Speaker 3: Find that every now and then you realize that you
- 8:02:43Speaker 3: aren't listening to my voice because your mind started to
- 8:02:52Speaker 3: imagine something different, maybe started to almost move into some
- 8:03:07Speaker 3: kind of a dreamy state, and then you become aware
- 8:03:16Speaker 3: of my voice again. And even though you may want
- 8:03:25Speaker 3: to focus on my voice, you may also wish to
- 8:03:33Speaker 3: allow your mind to just drift naturally into that space
- 8:03:44Speaker 3: of comfort and safety. As you feel more comfort spreading
- 8:04:09Speaker 3: through your body like a warm blanket covering you gently,
- 8:04:26Speaker 3: keeping your body at just the perfect temperature, and even
- 8:04:44Speaker 3: if you can hear background sounds, they just don't seem
- 8:04:56Speaker 3: to matter anymore. There's that sense of peace spreads through
- 8:05:13Speaker 3: your mind like a gentle breeze, yet strong enough to
- 8:05:27Speaker 3: blow away all negativity, strong enough to remove from your
- 8:05:43Speaker 3: mind any anxiety or stress.
- 8:05:51Speaker 1: That was there before, and blow away.
- 8:06:02Speaker 3: Any other thoughts or feelings that just don't fit with
- 8:06:17Speaker 3: the sense relaxation that is feeling your body and your mind.
- 8:06:57Speaker 3: Unless you focus on your mind the count down from
- 8:07:03Speaker 3: ten down to one, and with each number you hear,
- 8:07:12Speaker 3: your mind will become slightly more relaxed, just just slightly.
- 8:07:41Speaker 20: So.
- 8:07:41Speaker 3: From ten down to nine, just a slight movement. From
- 8:07:48Speaker 3: nine down to eight, just another small change in how
- 8:08:01Speaker 3: you feel. Eight down to seven, that feeling is a gap,
- 8:08:14Speaker 3: almost like a gap that starts to get wider, the
- 8:08:20Speaker 3: gap between those feelings that you used to have in
- 8:08:29Speaker 3: your mind compared to the feelings you have there growing now,
- 8:08:39Speaker 3: feelings of comfort and security and confidence, and that gap
- 8:08:49Speaker 3: becomes wider. Eight down to seven, seven down to six.
- 8:09:00Speaker 3: You get to five, your mind will start to have
- 8:09:06Speaker 3: a certain physical sensation, almost like there's a magnet outside
- 8:09:20Speaker 3: of your head, sucking detension and the stress and any
- 8:09:26Speaker 3: remaining feelings that you don't want, sucking them out through
- 8:09:34Speaker 3: your skull. And in down to four you can start
- 8:09:44Speaker 3: to really experience that sense of not just emptiness, but space,
- 8:09:59Speaker 3: a place full of fresh air, the place where you
- 8:10:07Speaker 3: can stretch. It's almost as if as you go down
- 8:10:13Speaker 3: to four and three, your mind is expanding, with this
- 8:10:20Speaker 3: sense of peace and tranquility growing as it moves down
- 8:10:33Speaker 3: to When you get to one, your mind just feels
- 8:10:45Speaker 3: exactly how you want to feel. It's almost perfect feeling,
- 8:11:02Speaker 3: maybe a sensation that you'd like to keep a place
- 8:11:13Speaker 3: that's safe, where nothing can affect you at all, and
- 8:11:35Speaker 3: you can stay in that that space of comfort and confidence,
- 8:11:44Speaker 3: confidence in your own ability to create this space and
- 8:11:51Speaker 3: this feeling of comfort within your own mind just by
- 8:11:59Speaker 3: counting from ten down to one. And this is something
- 8:12:09Speaker 3: that you can do yourself when you're on your own,
- 8:12:18Speaker 3: the time when you can maybe sit down, maybe just
- 8:12:22Speaker 3: for a few minutes, close your eyes, just count slowly
- 8:12:34Speaker 3: from ten down to one and re experience these feelings
- 8:12:49Speaker 3: in your mind. And when you feel that way in
- 8:12:58Speaker 3: your mind, your body copies your mind, and that feeling
- 8:13:13Speaker 3: is spread through your spine and your nervous system into
- 8:13:21Speaker 3: every part of your body, travels through your blood stream,
- 8:13:33Speaker 3: healing and relaxing every particle of your existence. And we
- 8:13:53Speaker 3: can we can practice this a few times before the
- 8:14:02Speaker 3: end of the recording, and then you can practice on
- 8:14:07Speaker 3: your own and each time you count for ten about one,
- 8:14:19Speaker 3: the feelings of comfort, calmness, and deep deep relaxation become
- 8:14:31Speaker 3: stronger and deeper, filling your mind and your brain with
- 8:14:47Speaker 3: these positive chemicals that spread throughout your body, relaxing you
- 8:14:58Speaker 3: so quickly, relaxing your whole body and mind so very
- 8:15:09Speaker 3: very easily, just by counting from ten down to one.
- 8:15:26Speaker 3: So we're going to do it now. I'm going to
- 8:15:29Speaker 3: count from ten down to one. I'd like you to
- 8:15:33Speaker 3: repeat the number after me. So when I say ten,
- 8:15:40Speaker 3: you can just repeat to yourself ten. Just notice, be
- 8:15:52Speaker 3: aware of how you feel in your mind and your body.
- 8:16:06Speaker 3: Then when I say nine, you can repeat to yourself
- 8:16:15Speaker 3: nine again, noticing the increase in comfort and calmness in
- 8:16:31Speaker 3: your mind and in your body. The same when I
- 8:16:41Speaker 3: say eight, when I say seven, six, when I say five, four,
- 8:17:00Speaker 3: when I say three, two, and lastly you want to
- 8:17:12Speaker 3: say one, you can repeat that number.
- 8:17:24Speaker 1: Now.
- 8:17:24Speaker 3: Of course, when you do this on your own without
- 8:17:30Speaker 3: listening to me, you can say the numbers or whatever
- 8:17:37Speaker 3: speed that you feel is necessary for you, so you
- 8:17:45Speaker 3: can adapt. So if you feel you want to say
- 8:17:51Speaker 3: the numbers ten down to one faster than I do,
- 8:17:59Speaker 3: then you go ahead and do that. Or if you
- 8:18:02Speaker 3: feel when you do it yourself that you'd like to
- 8:18:06Speaker 3: have more space between the numbers, maybe take a lot
- 8:18:15Speaker 3: longer to get from ten. All the way down to one.
- 8:18:26Speaker 3: That's your choice also to do. So I'm going to
- 8:18:39Speaker 3: count from ten down to one, and when I get
- 8:18:48Speaker 3: to one, that will be the end of this recording, unless,
- 8:18:55Speaker 3: of course, you're listening with music, then the music will continue.
- 8:19:07Speaker 3: Ten nine eight, four f three twenty nineteen, eighteen, seventeen, sixteen, fifteen, fourteen,
- 8:24:14Speaker 3: thirteen twelve eleven, ten nine eight, seven, six, five four three.
- 8:25:10Speaker 11: Two one.
- 8:25:25Speaker 3: Now open your eyes, noticing how you physically feel having
- 8:25:35Speaker 3: counted down from twenty to one, allowing stress and tension
- 8:25:44Speaker 3: to leave through your fingertips and your toes. And as
- 8:25:48Speaker 3: you focus on your fingertips, maybe they feel a little
- 8:25:53Speaker 3: bit tingly, which is I suppose quite an understanding considering
- 8:26:00Speaker 3: the tension has been exiting your body through your fingertips.
- 8:26:11Speaker 3: So now I'm going to count from twenty down to
- 8:26:13Speaker 3: one again. This time you're going to feel relief of
- 8:26:21Speaker 3: tension and stress, any anxiety that you may have leaving
- 8:26:33Speaker 3: through your stomach, just leaving through your stomach, almost as
- 8:26:40Speaker 3: if it's just releasing the whole of your stomach. And
- 8:26:46Speaker 3: you'll navel to just above your chest or below your chest,
- 8:26:51Speaker 3: rather so surrounding your belly button area. The whole area.
- 8:26:58Speaker 3: You can feel the tension of your body where's left,
- 8:27:02Speaker 3: just releasing from that area, and you may notice that
- 8:27:08Speaker 3: your stomach will become very relaxed. As I count down
- 8:27:14Speaker 3: from twenty down to one now twenty nineteen, eighteen, seventeen, sixteen, fifteen, fourteen, thirteen, twelve, eleven, ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four,
- 8:28:42Speaker 3: three two what. You can open your eyes again if
- 8:28:59Speaker 3: you shoes, but you can just keep them closed because
- 8:29:03Speaker 3: it feels relaxing. Just notice how your stomach feels. I
- 8:29:10Speaker 3: notice as your focus, just do a little scan of
- 8:29:14Speaker 3: your body. Just notice how your body feels, focusing on
- 8:29:23Speaker 3: your upper body, your back, chest, stomach, legs, arms, hands, feet,
- 8:29:33Speaker 3: Just noticing, and you know, you may start to feel
- 8:29:43Speaker 3: more of a sense of tiredness, which may be the
- 8:29:46Speaker 3: reason you're listening to this recording because you like to
- 8:29:54Speaker 3: let go completely of everything and rift off into a nice, natural, calm,
- 8:30:07Speaker 3: relaxing sleep. So now we're going to focus on your forehead,
- 8:30:26Speaker 3: and if you choose, you can incorporate your eyes in
- 8:30:29Speaker 3: this focus as well. So your forehead and your eyes,
- 8:30:36Speaker 3: it's that whole area, basically, almost as if you were
- 8:30:40Speaker 3: wearing a mask. You know, like a I don't know,
- 8:30:44Speaker 3: a Batman mask or something, or I'm trying to zorro
- 8:30:51Speaker 3: or something, you know, the kind of mask that covers
- 8:30:53Speaker 3: your eyes but also covers quite a lot of the forehead,
- 8:31:00Speaker 3: and focusing on that area, because that's the area that
- 8:31:03Speaker 3: we're now going to release tension and stress from your mind,
- 8:31:09Speaker 3: from your brain and from your mind, and any tension
- 8:31:13Speaker 3: that you may have remaining in your face, in your neck,
- 8:31:17Speaker 3: and your jaw, in your eyes, your forehead, or your scalp.
- 8:31:25Speaker 3: So basically any tension within your head area, including your
- 8:31:30Speaker 3: mind and your brain, and that's going to be released
- 8:31:39Speaker 3: through your forehead and your eyes. As I count down
- 8:31:46Speaker 3: again from twenty down to one now twenty nineteen, eighteen, seventeen, sixteen, fifteen, fourteen, thirteen, twelve, eleven, ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four, three,
- 8:33:27Speaker 3: two one, noticing and you scan your face, jaw, your eyes,
- 8:33:49Speaker 3: the cheap ones, your ears, the forehead, your scalp, your neck,
- 8:34:00Speaker 3: the back of your neck, in the front of your neck,
- 8:34:03Speaker 3: the side of your neck, and your throat, noticing being
- 8:34:14Speaker 3: aware of the comfort, increased feeling, the relaxation not just
- 8:34:25Speaker 3: in your head and neck and mind, also the rest
- 8:34:31Speaker 3: of your body. Just notice how loose and calm you feel,
- 8:34:42Speaker 3: and how easily it is to just let go completely,
- 8:34:53Speaker 3: let go completely more easily that So, what I'm going
- 8:35:14Speaker 3: to do now is I want to focus on the
- 8:35:17Speaker 3: top of your head, and we're going to allow every
- 8:35:28Speaker 3: last piece of tension or stress that might be lingering
- 8:35:36Speaker 3: or hiding in your body or mind or head.
- 8:35:42Speaker 20: To just.
- 8:35:44Speaker 3: Be sucked out at the top of your head and
- 8:35:50Speaker 3: released into the air. I'm sucked out into the clouds.
- 8:36:01Speaker 3: Imagine a big cloud above your head, almost like a whirlpool,
- 8:36:08Speaker 3: and this can suck that tension.
- 8:36:12Speaker 19: Out the top of your head.
- 8:36:15Speaker 3: And just take it away a good Just focus. Imagine
- 8:36:24Speaker 3: an opening on the top of your head with that
- 8:36:28Speaker 3: tension and stress and any remaining issues may be worries
- 8:36:34Speaker 3: or concerns that are no use to you. Now you
- 8:36:38Speaker 3: can all be sucked down at the top of your
- 8:36:41Speaker 3: head and taken away. As I count down again from
- 8:36:48Speaker 3: twenty down to one now twenty nineteen, eighteen, seventeen, sixteen, fifteen, fourteen, thteen, twelve, eleven, ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four, three,
- 8:38:52Speaker 3: one breathe, Noticing how you feel, how relaxed and calm
- 8:39:21Speaker 3: you physically and mentally feel right now, how peaceful your
- 8:39:36Speaker 3: mind feels. It feels so nice to just let go,
- 8:39:44Speaker 3: to give yourself some space to breathe easily, to think calmly,
- 8:39:58Speaker 3: and just to take your break from all that pointless
- 8:40:03Speaker 3: worry and concerns about things that you don't need to
- 8:40:09Speaker 3: think about right now, because this is your time to
- 8:40:20Speaker 3: let go. This is your space to enjoy feeling deeply relaxed,
- 8:40:31Speaker 3: peaceful in your mind, relaxed in your body. They can
- 8:40:38Speaker 3: feel so good, so nice to just not have to
- 8:40:48Speaker 3: do anything, to be able to really enjoy that serenity
- 8:41:00Speaker 3: that comes with letting go completely, that peacefulness that comes
- 8:41:08Speaker 3: with m being in this peaceful space. And you can
- 8:41:25Speaker 3: keep this sense of calmness for as long as you choose.
- 8:41:39Speaker 3: If you choose to drift off into a deep, healing,
- 8:41:45Speaker 3: natural sleep, then you can do that. It's completely up
- 8:41:54Speaker 3: to you, and you can keep this feeling of calmness
- 8:42:02Speaker 3: physically and in your mind as long as you choose
- 8:42:09Speaker 3: to feel completely relaxed, completely relax And I'd like you
- 8:42:24Speaker 3: to make up your mind that you're going to relax,
- 8:42:39Speaker 3: and I want to explore that with you what it
- 8:42:42Speaker 3: feels like when you actually decide that you're going to relax,
- 8:42:51Speaker 3: not forcing yourself, but giving yourself that. Yes, it is
- 8:42:57Speaker 3: a command, really, isn't it. When you're telling yourself relax
- 8:43:04Speaker 3: in a gentle but firm way, that only you can
- 8:43:10Speaker 3: really tell yourself in that way. You can't really have
- 8:43:15Speaker 3: someone else saying.
- 8:43:16Speaker 1: To you, now it relax, relax, you know, and it needs.
- 8:43:22Speaker 3: To be gentle, But you can't someone else can't really
- 8:43:25Speaker 3: have the same the same kind of influence or power
- 8:43:35Speaker 3: that you have over your own physicality, over how you feel,
- 8:43:48Speaker 3: because when you say it to yourself, it means more.
- 8:43:54Speaker 3: It's personal, and your brain and your unconscious mind and
- 8:44:01Speaker 3: your body listens to what you say. So, for example,
- 8:44:08Speaker 3: we'll test it out. We'll do a little test, a
- 8:44:11Speaker 3: few little tests along the way, and you can get
- 8:44:15Speaker 3: more of an idea of the force, the positive force
- 8:44:21Speaker 3: that you can have in creating a sense of comfort
- 8:44:28Speaker 3: and relaxation in your body and your mind quite quickly
- 8:44:35Speaker 3: just by you telling yourself to relax. So I'm going
- 8:44:46Speaker 3: to start by's focus on your hands. So focus on
- 8:44:53Speaker 3: your hands and just tell your hands to relax. Let's
- 8:44:57Speaker 3: just say relax. As you focus on your hands. You
- 8:45:04Speaker 3: could say my hands are relaxed, or I want my
- 8:45:08Speaker 3: hands to relax. But I think if you actually do
- 8:45:13Speaker 3: it directly by focusing and imagining that your hands can
- 8:45:21Speaker 3: hear what you're saying. You know, they've got little ears,
- 8:45:24Speaker 3: which is a little weird. So talking to your hands
- 8:45:30Speaker 3: and just say relax, noticing how your hands start to relax. Now,
- 8:45:59Speaker 3: focus on your eyes and tell your eyes to relax.
- 8:46:04Speaker 3: You just say in the same word relax and find
- 8:46:08Speaker 3: the right tone for you. You know, I might say relax,
- 8:46:17Speaker 3: but you you might say relax or relax. You know,
- 8:46:25Speaker 3: you might say it differently to yourself, and that's important
- 8:46:32Speaker 3: for you to gauge what feels right for you. To
- 8:46:38Speaker 3: just tell your eyes to relax, whilst focusing on your eyes,
- 8:46:44Speaker 3: your eyelids, the muscles around your eyes, your eyebrows, and
- 8:46:49Speaker 3: just tell your eyes directly relax now. Now, I just
- 8:47:24Speaker 3: did that myself, And sometimes you may feel that you
- 8:47:35Speaker 3: need a bit more time for the different parts to relax,
- 8:47:41Speaker 3: you know, because I start talking again and maybe that
- 8:47:45Speaker 3: part hasn't relaxed fully. But what will happen is that
- 8:47:49Speaker 3: we'll just continue to relax even though I'm talking and
- 8:47:53Speaker 3: that's happened with my eyes. Something else I noticed is
- 8:48:01Speaker 3: when I started focusing on my eyes, that actually almost
- 8:48:05Speaker 3: became they got worse before they got better in a way.
- 8:48:08Speaker 3: So I felt a degree of tension growing in my
- 8:48:11Speaker 3: eyes and then disappearing. So I think what that was
- 8:48:17Speaker 3: really was just me becoming more aware of the tension
- 8:48:24Speaker 3: that was already there that I wasn't. I wasn't focused
- 8:48:28Speaker 3: on it before, so I wasn't really acknowledging it or
- 8:48:35Speaker 3: really conscious to those feelings. Yeah, my eyes are still
- 8:48:50Speaker 3: continuing to relax, as well as my hands. Actually, my
- 8:48:57Speaker 3: hands have got a certain kind of energy, like not buzzing,
- 8:49:03Speaker 3: but I can kind of fuel or degree of energy
- 8:49:08Speaker 3: in my hands. Maybe that's where the tension is being released.
- 8:49:16Speaker 3: Maybe that's causing that. The next part, I think we
- 8:49:26Speaker 3: should focus on the back of the neck. That's a
- 8:49:29Speaker 3: part which is quite often well for me, holds tension.
- 8:49:34Speaker 3: I don't know about for yourself that. I think it's
- 8:49:37Speaker 3: quite a standard place where tension is sometimes held. So,
- 8:49:45Speaker 3: and I'm doing exactly what you're doing as you do
- 8:49:48Speaker 3: it as well, so I'm telling my body parts to
- 8:49:52Speaker 3: relax as well. So if you tell your neck the back.
- 8:49:56Speaker 19: Of your neck.
- 8:49:57Speaker 3: Focus on the back of your neck, and just say
- 8:50:02Speaker 3: relax in your own words, in your own tone, in
- 8:50:06Speaker 3: your own voice. You can say out loud, or you
- 8:50:09Speaker 3: can just say it to yourself internally. But you're focusing,
- 8:50:14Speaker 3: and you're saying it literally to the back of your neck,
- 8:50:19Speaker 3: as if the back of your neck can actually hear
- 8:50:23Speaker 3: what you're saying. So do that now, Just say relax
- 8:50:30Speaker 3: to the back of your neck, and I'll do the same.
- 8:51:12Speaker 1: Now.
- 8:51:12Speaker 3: What I noticed, and you may have had similar thing is,
- 8:51:18Speaker 3: even though I was focusing on the back of my neck,
- 8:51:25Speaker 3: other parts started to, I don't know, show themselves to me,
- 8:51:32Speaker 3: or maybe because they want to be relaxed as well.
- 8:51:35Speaker 3: But I started noticing the feelings in my shoulders, attention
- 8:51:40Speaker 3: in my shoulders and in my upper back. Whether that
- 8:51:46Speaker 3: was because my back of my neck was saying, well,
- 8:51:52Speaker 3: I'm pretty much okay. It's the other parts that need attention,
- 8:52:03Speaker 3: but my low back of my neck is still relaxing.
- 8:52:07Speaker 3: But I just became more aware of other parts that
- 8:52:10Speaker 3: needed attention. Now, this might happen and it's not. It
- 8:52:19Speaker 3: doesn't mean that it's going wrong. It just means you're
- 8:52:22Speaker 3: being notified. Of more places that also want to feel relaxed.
- 8:52:32Speaker 3: So I'm going to focus on my upper back, so
- 8:52:37Speaker 3: you can do the same, even if you don't have
- 8:52:41Speaker 3: any feelings of tension that are obvious in your upper back,
- 8:52:48Speaker 3: if you just focus on your back and the whole
- 8:52:52Speaker 3: area from his shoulder blades down to the middle of
- 8:52:57Speaker 3: your back down his spine and with me, it's more
- 8:53:02Speaker 3: the shoulder blads more. Yeah, that's the parts that really
- 8:53:12Speaker 3: sort of giving me the nod that it needs relax in.
- 8:53:19Speaker 3: The Sound's gonna ask that part to relax, and you
- 8:53:23Speaker 3: can do the same now relaxed up the back. There's
- 8:53:48Speaker 3: something strange happened there, and this often happens. I've been
- 8:53:54Speaker 3: doing this for sixteen years or something, and often I'm
- 8:54:02Speaker 3: I'm surprised, but amazed really that there can be a feeling.
- 8:54:11Speaker 3: So when I was focusing on the back of my neck,
- 8:54:14Speaker 3: my upper back was starting to feel quite stressed and
- 8:54:19Speaker 3: in need of attention. As soon as I started talking
- 8:54:25Speaker 3: to you about my upper back and talking about, you know,
- 8:54:30Speaker 3: getting ready to ask the upper back to relax, my
- 8:54:35Speaker 3: other back already started to relax. It's almost as if
- 8:54:41Speaker 3: it doesn't need to hear the words just needs attention,
- 8:54:51Speaker 3: just needs to be noticed. That is something that often
- 8:55:04Speaker 3: happens in this type of situation is when you start
- 8:55:12Speaker 3: to relax a couple of parts of your body, as
- 8:55:17Speaker 3: we've done with our hands, our eyes and the eyelids,
- 8:55:23Speaker 3: and now back of the neck, top of the back,
- 8:55:32Speaker 3: upper back, the rest of the body seems to just
- 8:55:37Speaker 3: take notice and decide in its own way to start relaxing.
- 8:55:49Speaker 3: Other parts of your body start to just become looser.
- 8:55:59Speaker 3: I suppose it's kind of like a bit of an avalanche,
- 8:56:02Speaker 3: you know, the little ball starts rolling, and before you
- 8:56:07Speaker 3: know it, the whole of your body is completely relaxed
- 8:56:10Speaker 3: and calm. And if you focus on your face, you
- 8:56:27Speaker 3: focus on your eyes, your eyelids, your eyebrows, and the
- 8:56:34Speaker 3: muscles around your eyes, maybe you start to notice that
- 8:56:45Speaker 3: your forehead is more relaxed than it was. Maybe your
- 8:56:50Speaker 3: face is more relaxed. I would say, my entire face
- 8:56:56Speaker 3: is a lot more relaxed than it was. So we're
- 8:57:10Speaker 3: going to focus now on your shoulders again, just like before.
- 8:57:18Speaker 3: Just tell your shoulders. I mean you can do them
- 8:57:22Speaker 3: in the digital. You can do the right shoulder, left shoulder.
- 8:57:26Speaker 3: I just generally do both at the same time, and
- 8:57:30Speaker 3: just tell your shoulders as you focus on them in
- 8:57:34Speaker 3: your mind, focus on how they feel. Maybe you can
- 8:57:40Speaker 3: see them in your mind's eye. Just tell your shoulders
- 8:57:51Speaker 3: to relax as nice as they relax. But I do notice,
- 8:58:44Speaker 3: I mean, especially with my back, is the connection between
- 8:58:51Speaker 3: the different parts the back, the shoulders, the neck being
- 8:59:01Speaker 3: all connected and being such a large part of your body,
- 8:59:09Speaker 3: it's almost hard to separate them from each other. And
- 8:59:18Speaker 3: my lower back has started to relax on its own.
- 8:59:26Speaker 3: Maybe I'm going too slow and that could be an
- 8:59:31Speaker 3: issue because we all go at different speeds. And the
- 8:59:39Speaker 3: idea at the beginning of this recording was for you
- 8:59:42Speaker 3: to be able to just say to yourself, relax without
- 8:59:57Speaker 3: focusing on any particular part to your body. Because when
- 9:00:03Speaker 3: you know that tearing your hands to relax and your
- 9:00:13Speaker 3: hand relax, you tell your eyelids and your eyes, the
- 9:00:22Speaker 3: muscles around your eyes and your eyebrows to relax, and
- 9:00:32Speaker 3: they relax. You tell the back of your neck to
- 9:00:45Speaker 3: relax and it relaxes. Till your upper back to relax
- 9:01:18Speaker 3: and it relaxes. He tell your shoulders to relax and
- 9:01:42Speaker 3: they relax. When you told your hands to relax. They relaxed,
- 9:02:10Speaker 3: and they continued to relax. When you told your eyelids,
- 9:02:23Speaker 3: the muscles around your eyes, your eyebrows, to relax, they
- 9:02:30Speaker 3: relaxed and continue to relax. When you told the back
- 9:02:45Speaker 3: of your neck focus on the back of your neck
- 9:02:52Speaker 3: and told it to relax, they relaxed and continued to relax.
- 9:03:12Speaker 3: When you told your ulper back to relax, be relaxed,
- 9:03:22Speaker 3: he continued to relax. That's with your shoulders. You told
- 9:03:38Speaker 3: your shoulders to relax, in your shoulders relaxed and continued
- 9:03:52Speaker 3: to relax. And it's not just that, it's that the
- 9:04:06Speaker 3: rest of your body has also been listening, and that
- 9:04:13Speaker 3: relaxation has been spreading. So from your eyes, the relaxations
- 9:04:20Speaker 3: spread to your forehead, around your face, into your skin,
- 9:04:28Speaker 3: into your jaw, into the front and sides of your neck,
- 9:04:42Speaker 3: all the way down your chest and stomach. Your relaxed
- 9:04:52Speaker 3: hands and shoulders meet up through your arms, where your forearms,
- 9:05:03Speaker 3: your upper arms, your elbows, your wrists, letting go, the
- 9:05:19Speaker 3: lower back, your hips, buttocks growing or just start to relax,
- 9:05:30Speaker 3: so continue even more comfort spreading through your legs all
- 9:05:43Speaker 3: the way down to your ankles, the tops of your feet,
- 9:05:53Speaker 3: the side of your feet, and the bottoms of your feet,
- 9:06:02Speaker 3: relaxing into your toes, each toe relaxing, calm, loose, And
- 9:06:34Speaker 3: as your body relaxes more, your mind becomes slower, more peaceful,
- 9:06:59Speaker 3: to the point where if you choose to fall asleep,
- 9:07:13Speaker 3: you can easily do that easy drift theay because there's
- 9:07:30Speaker 3: nothing going on in your mind, your brains peaceful, your
- 9:07:46Speaker 3: body continues to rise. And with that connection between your
- 9:08:20Speaker 3: body relaxing and the word that you say to yourself
- 9:08:28Speaker 3: relax means that you don't need to focus on just
- 9:08:39Speaker 3: one part. You can just focus on your entire body,
- 9:08:53Speaker 3: saying the powerful word relax and observe those familiar sensations
- 9:09:19Speaker 3: of comfort spreading throughout your body, loosening and calming.
- 9:09:35Speaker 27: And healing every part of your body, feeding more relaxed.
- 9:10:06Speaker 3: So all you need to do from now on is
- 9:10:10Speaker 3: just tell yourself rats and observe feeding completely comfortable and calm.
- 9:10:46Speaker 3: So starting now with number twenty nineteen, eighteen, seventeen, sixteen, fifteen,
- 9:12:16Speaker 3: fourteen thirty, well.
- 9:15:00Speaker 15: As US.
- 9:16:21Speaker 23: Ye y
- 9:20:05Speaker 1: Two
