  So from being a professional soccer player to making a terrible reckless decision that

  took a man's life back in 2009, which would make me a convict.

  I spent four years and seven months as an inmate of the state in New Jersey.

  It was in that place where the Lord got my undivided attention.

  Long story short, felt the call of God upon my life,

  the compulsion to share the gospel as far and as wide as he would allow.

  And of course, my testimony lends itself to showing the world.

  That is a pretty impressive roster that I know I do not belong on, but I am humbled.

  You have no idea, David, to be considered to share what the Lord has for us.

  Yeah, well, we need to hear your voice, brother, and you're going to have a message to share.
• 4:58
  You might not even know the message yet, but anyway, so before we get into some concerning
• 5:04
  articles on the cult of death, the culture of death in North America, and what's happening.
• 5:10
  Let's talk about James Talleriko, because this is a perspective of as a Christian.
• 5:17
  He's saying some things as a Christian, a professing Christian, but he's not.
• 5:22
  If you define biblically what a Christian is and what the Bible teaches,
• 5:27
  he's going against scripture, but not a lot of people know that because of the declining
• 5:32
  biblical worldview and the biblical illiteracy.
• 5:35
  So slowly walk us through this because some people might not be paying attention
• 5:40
  to what's happening politically.
• 5:44
  Well, I think that's the talk track, because Christians are biblically illiterate.
• 5:50
  They are easily preyed upon when it comes to somebody like James Talleriko,
• 5:55
  who is able to eloquently at that, and gently, I think that's the posture that is deceiving,
• 6:02
  like the serpent of old. It's very serpentine, it's very slippery, it's very slick,
• 6:08
  and he will throw in a Bible verse or two, and he speaks with a confidence.
• 6:13
  So it sounds as if he knows what he's talking about.
• 6:16
  So in the name of love and many other social and secular themes,
• 6:22
  justice and virtue and inclusion, a lot of Christians are following him, and he's involved
• 6:30
  in the political realm as of late. He's from Texas. He's in the House of Representatives there,
• 6:35
  but every time I hear him speak, I hate to say this, but my ears bleed spiritually speaking,
• 6:42
  and I'm able to look at the word of God and see what it says, and then line up what he said,
• 6:47
  and see that there's a gaping hole, a separation between the two, and it's all in the name of
• 6:54
  progressive Christianity, and it's leading so many people astray, David, and it's leading so
• 7:00
  many souls to hell, and that's why it needs to be called out. It's heretical, and at times it's
• 7:05
  blasphemous. So obviously we've talked a lot over the years on this program. I know you have two
• 7:13
  about these virtues, seemingly the highest virtues are affirming and loving and compassion and
• 7:20
  tolerance, but when that gets elevated, when those things get elevated based on emotion or whatever
• 7:26
  propaganda above the word of God, we've got a problem in the church. So are there a few specific
• 7:33
  things that he has said that you can just just show us, okay, that's what he said. This is what
• 7:38
  people are falling for, but this is not biblical. Yes, so one that is damning is that he said,
• 7:46
  God is non-binary, and he uses Genesis chapter one as his case study, because when you read about
• 7:55
  God, he says there are two words that have different gender persuasions to them both apply to God.
• 8:05
  Meanwhile, we know that grammar has gender attached to it, so a word can be either masculine or feminine,
• 8:12
  but grammatical gender is not the same thing as biological gender or personhood gender. So for him to
• 8:20
  apply a grammatical gendered word in the scriptures to God is to say, and this is what he's claiming,
• 8:28
  God is non-binary, and his entire platform is protecting trans children, and he even calls
• 8:36
  Christians who go against what he's trying to propose as harmful. Now mind you, when he says
• 8:42
  something like that, he's saying the Christians that are pushing back against him, they're using God's
• 8:46
  word, they're abusing our children, and then he goes on to make his case by stating, and I'll read it,
• 8:51
  quote, God is both masculine and feminine and everything in between, and again, he makes his case
• 8:57
  using a word that is feminine for spirit, but it's not applicable to say that God himself is a
• 9:04
  feminine. That's why Jesus said, when you pray, you pray like this, our father who was in heaven,
• 9:09
  Jesus was a man, God in the flesh came as the expression of God. He uses Genesis 1 where it says
• 9:17
  that let us make man in our image, he uses the plural hour as you see, God is many, God is
• 9:25
  everything in between. So it's very subtle, and a lot of people might go, that's not a big deal,
• 9:31
  because the goal is for him to enact or support legislation that gives license to minors to
• 9:41
  change their genders. I mean, that's the point. And Jesus himself said, anyone that brings harm or
• 9:47
  causes these little ones to stumble, it would be better for them if they had a millstone hung
• 9:53
  around their necks, and they were thrown into the sea. And I think it's so subtle and it's so
• 9:59
  slippery. And he's using the Bible, he's weaponizing it. And the final statement that he made at
• 10:04
  this one speech was, trans children are God's children, and they are beautiful and perfect the way
• 10:11
  they are. And of course, that sounds good. All of us, including the children, the least of these,
• 10:18
  are created in the image of God that must be protected and must be looked upon differently than
• 10:26
  any other demographic. That's absolute. But for him to say it that way, and obviously as Christians,
• 10:32
  we know all of us are born in sin. We say, we're born this way. I can claim that I'm born this way.
• 10:40
  I'm a sinner, but that's why we are called to be born again. And that includes understanding
• 10:45
  how God has created us as gender specific. And of course, we're rewriting scripture. We are
• 10:52
  defying God's design. And that's going to lead us to so many dark places. And that's why we're seeing
• 10:58
  what we're seeing in the United States of America, which is another topic we'll get to.

  Yes, I want to drill down on this a little bit more, but first I want to mention something
• 11:08
  you put on your Facebook page. James Talleriko's prayer sounded spiritual, compassionate, and
• 11:16
  inclusive. That's what made it so dangerous. And I'm quoting Matthew, but it obscured the identity
• 11:22
  of God and reduced Jesus Christ to one expression among many. But something you said that he said,
• 11:29
  we're all children of God or trans children or children of God. Let's talk about what the Bible
• 11:34
  teaches about this issue. We are, you said correctly, we are all created in the image of God, a mago
• 11:40
  day, every human being, the image of God. But from a spiritual perspective, Pastor Matthew Mayor,
• 11:48
  are all children, all people, children of God? Yeah, the only way to become a child of God is to
• 11:58
  place your faith and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ. That is what grants us the authority or the
• 12:04
  power in John 1 to become a child of God in the first place. All of us are, I say, creations
• 12:12
  of God. But you must have a relationship with his son Jesus to become a child of God. That's
• 12:19
  what constitutes us being born again, a new spirit, a new heart, a new mind. And of course, we begin
• 12:27
  the process of sanctification where we become more like Jesus Christ. So you've already quoted
• 12:33
  something from Facebook. That was actually in reference to a prayer that James Talleriko
• 12:39
  gave. And the way he began was in all your many names, we pray. And again, he begins to touch
• 12:48
  on almost every type of world religion, every type of ideology. He mentions the big bang. He talks
• 12:52
  about love being like this cosmic force. We began in love. We end in love and we love in between.
• 12:58
  He even adds Jesus as you quoted. And he says, in my faith expression, Jesus was a barefoot
• 13:05
  rabbi, a crucified carpenter. So he adds Jesus to be one amongst many, one teacher amongst many,
• 13:11
  one path amongst many. It's very subtle. If you're not listening with the right spiritual ear,
• 13:17
  it sounds good, but it's so far from God. And that's the danger because there are victims
• 13:23
  to the spiritual, heretical, ideological, ideological opinions that he has.
• 13:30
  Yeah, this Jesus is not just a path or one path to God. He is the way, the truth, and the life
• 13:37
  and no one comes to the Father except through him. Yes, that's exclusive. But the good news is he
• 13:42
  invites anyone, whoever will come to him, whoever will believe. So we've got to get this this
• 13:48
  right, friends. This is important. These are important distinctives here when we hear people
• 13:51
  quoting or spewing these things. That's why we need to be discerning. Over at your website,
• 13:58
  truthovertrend.com, I was looking at something you've been doing recently. Maybe you've been doing

  for a long time, but it's called the daily dose. You're just putting your thoughts out for the day.

  Can people subscribe to that or just you're just putting it on your website? Tell us about that

  briefly. Yeah, you know what? I've been doing that for years. Okay. These are very short,

  probably no more than three to five sentences a day, Monday through Friday, on East Coast.

  I put them out on my social media at seven a.m. Eastern time. I have an app actually, David. I

  don't really advertise, but the quickest way to get the daily dose as an app notification is through

  the app itself. It's truthovertrend on any app platform. But people through the years have been

  greatly encouraged by these short, quick, daily doses that jumpstart the day. So there you have it.

  I appreciate any time you point to the content that the Lord is producing through me. Sure.

  He's using your voice. We pray that you're terrible and larger territory. Now, some things that I

  think it's important to talk about. It's not fun to address this, but we've known for the last

  number of years, the population in America has not been replacing itself. In other words,
• 15:18
  we're not having enough children. Didn't God say somewhere be fruitful and multiply? Anyway,
• 15:23
  Christian family should have a lot of children. Now, let's talk about backup, big picture,
• 15:28
  worldview issue. Let's talk about what's happening now with the abortion movement and how many children
• 15:34
  in the womb have been sacrificed and murdered. Let's talk about the LGBTQ transgendarism. They
• 15:42
  are doing surgeries to remove healthy organs, given kids hormones and hysterectomies and all these
• 15:50
  different things. They're not going to have children. Let's talk about the gay and lesbian lifestyle.
• 15:54
  They cannot reproduce. So they have to recruit other children. They cannot, babies. They're
• 16:00
  supposed to procreate as children, as children of God. So now, let's talk about a new issue. It's
• 16:06
  not new, but this euthanasia issue. There's an article over at The New York Post.
• 16:12
  It's about Canada, but the US has mentioned there and we've got to keep an eye out for this
• 16:17
  friend. It's part of this cult of death. Canada is set to surpass 100,000 assisted suicides.
• 16:25
  That's more than the country's World War II death toll. So Matthew, this is disturbing. It's not
• 16:34
  surprising. About 45 a day are being euthanized according to the report in Canada, 45 a day.
• 16:44
  Now, there's a sad story about this young man who I think had diabetes and vision problems
• 16:50
  and was depressed and so he qualified. He looks like he's in his 20s. Yep, 26-year-old.
• 16:58
  It's just really sad in this article talks about him. As of 2024, this was a couple of years ago,
• 17:05
  the deaths in Canada from this MAD medical assistance in dying reached over 76,000,
• 17:14
  and that's nearly twice the Canadians who died in the Battle of World War II according to
• 17:20
  the Canadian War Museum. Now, I'm going to get to America next. Matthew, what are your thoughts when
• 17:26
  you hear this understanding from the big picture? What's going on with population and eliminating
• 17:31
  children? I have so many thoughts bouncing through my brain right now and I want to start with
• 17:39
  an illustration. It's a vice grip from both ends. So when you're talking about devaluing life,
• 17:46
  not understanding that we are created in the image of God with great dignity, the moment that
• 17:50
  you begin to devalue life, of course, what is within the womb is easily terminated. So if the child
• 17:59
  per chance makes it out of the womb, the enemy then tries to reach that child as early as he
• 18:04
  can with indoctrination. He tries to confuse them. He tries to tell them they are not the gender they
• 18:09
  are. Then you have adults in the room that are affirming that and you have medical establishments
• 18:14
  that are helping transition that child and you have medications that are castrating the child.
• 18:21
  And it's like, if the child makes it to a later age, there's everything working against them.
• 18:27
  By the time they become, as you saw on Canada, whatever age, the vice grip from the other end,
• 18:32
  well, if you don't feel like you want to live or there's something, you have a condition where
• 18:37
  it looks like it's fatal, which we all have conditions that are fatal, you can end your life,
• 18:41
  assisted suicide pretty much. The moment a civilization begins to enable the murder and the
• 18:50
  slaughter of its own, that civilization is dead. That civilization has died itself. So you have so
• 18:58
  many different issues that land on death and the enemy is literally doing what his mission
• 19:06
  statement tells him he should do, killing, stealing and destroying. And so many Christians, David,
• 19:11
  are silent and they're unwilling to speak out and put light on that darkness. That's the
• 19:18
  only way to expose the darkness. It gets me amped up as I usually get on your show because
• 19:27
  I'm so passionate about pointing people back to the only antidote, the gospel of Jesus Christ.

  That's what we need for these times. So Thief comes to kill, steal and destroy Jesus said,
• 19:38
  but I have come that they might have life and have it abundantly. Over on the website, death
• 19:45
  with dignity, let's go to America now because New York just recently added its own version of this
• 19:51
  program, medical aid in dying, even religious leaders have called it a societal failing.
• 19:59
  Does your state have this, friends? A lot of people aren't aware of this happening in the US,
• 20:04
  Illinois, New York, Vermont, New Jersey, Delaware, Maine, Montana, Washington, Oregon,
• 20:15
  California, Colorado, and New Mexico, where it is legal, this concept of death with dignity.
• 20:26
  Then there are a lot of states in the yellow there. There are a lot of states that are considering
• 20:29
  it this year. Our state's in there. I see Wisconsin. I see a lot in the Midwest,
• 20:37
  flyover country. Uh oh. So this is not a political issue, friends. This is removing God wanting to
• 20:44
  be your own God and having some sort of authority over who gets to live and who doesn't. Matthew,
• 20:50
  your thoughts. Yeah, it all stems down to the word of the month pride. Pride is man replacing God
• 21:01
  at its core. We want autonomy. We want authority. And of course, if we don't have a higher power,
• 21:10
  defining to us life as it should be live and as it should be protected, what does man do?
• 21:16
  Man is just going to butcher that which he has, whether it's life in the womb, if the baby makes
• 21:22
  it out of the womb, the families aren't having more babies, which is explaining the low birth rate.
• 21:28
  Islam is outproducing us. They're having tons of babies and they are taking over the world,
• 21:33
  but that's a separate topic. If the child grows up, of course, indoctrination kicks in. They wrap
• 21:39
  that child in a rainbow. They confuse his or her identity. If per chance, they make it to their
• 21:45
  teen life. Of course, they might live in a broken home. Mom and dad split up. They divorce.
• 21:51
  It's like every factor in our society is showing us we are sick. And it's because we have pushed
• 21:58
  God out and we pushed him out. And we didn't just push him out. We've actually replaced him
• 22:04
  with things that are altogether opposite of him. And we're wondering why we're reading all these
• 22:10
  devastating statistics. It's all in the scriptures. It tells us exactly where it's all headed,
• 22:15
  whether you want to read of the warnings from Paul to Timothy about the perilous times in that
• 22:19
  long list. Men will be lovers of themselves, where you want to read Romans chapter 1 and see the
• 22:25
  landslide of humanity as it pertains to sin and replacing the creator with creature or creation
• 22:32
  and replacing truth with lies or replacing what is natural with what is unnatural. I mean,
• 22:38
  we are watching it unfold. And I'm not sure how much longer God is going to allow to happen,
• 22:45
  especially when it pertains to taking life so freely. I do want to mention another issue. We don't
• 22:52
  have time to get into this article. But briefly, I want to mention where it is over at not the B.
• 22:57
  The fertility rate is bad. The rate at which younger generations are dying is not going to help.
• 23:02
  Now briefly, here's the gist of this one. The United States faces a prolonged life expectancy stall.
• 23:09
  Recent cohorts born since 1970 exhibit increasingly mortality, increasing mortality in
• 23:17
  cardiovascular disease, cancer and external causes compared to their predecessors, implying
• 23:24
  continuation of poor mortality trends as they age. In layman's terms, this means younger people
• 23:30
  are dying more young than older people. So there are health issues now that it's affecting this
• 23:37
  generation that maybe we or our parents didn't necessarily have. So there's a lot going on here
• 23:43
  that we have to just be mindful of. But I want to go back to now something. I think I mentioned at
• 23:47
  the beginning, are you talked about the first pride parade? Sorry, we didn't leave enough time for
• 23:52
  this Matthew, but you do a whole message on this. It's on truthovertrend.com slash media. The

  original rebellion talked to us briefly about this. Yeah. So the entire premise, and I'll do it as
• 24:04
  quickly as I can, is this the issue of our day is not necessarily just about the LGBTQ community.

  Because we can add a Y O U to that long acronym because it also includes us humbling ourselves
• 24:20
  because the Bible says God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble. So when you look at the
• 24:25
  first pride parade, it actually wasn't on the streets on planet earth. It was in heaven and
• 24:31
  it was Lucifer. And in Isaiah 14, he makes these five I will statements which led to the rebellion
• 24:39
  in heaven and him being cast down. I will ascend. I will arise. I will be like the most high God.
• 24:47
  And it's the opposite of what we're supposed to say. We're supposed to say, not I will. We're
• 24:51
  supposed to say, I will like Jesus prayed a prayer in the Garden of Gethsemanine. He said,
• 24:57
  not my will, your will. And when you begin to see how pride has crept in from the Garden of Eden,
• 25:03
  from Eve being told she could be like God to her being deceived, to Adam willfully eating,
• 25:09
  to mankind being thrusted into brokenness and sin. It's all founded on pride. What follows pride,
• 25:16
  destruction, what follows pride, shame, including think about this. Lucifer had access to the throne.
• 25:24
  He was an angel. The Bible says an anointed cherub. Ezekiel 1 and Revelation 4 tell us the throne
• 25:30
  was wrapped with a rainbow. And the rainbow in heaven represented God's authority and God's
• 25:36
  identity and God's mercy, hence him putting his bow in the sky in Genesis after the flood. So,
• 25:44
  yeah, I can touch pride month and that community. And how using the rainbow that way is mockery.
• 25:51
  But the goal is also to consider how even we as Christians, we use, we might not use a flag
• 25:58
  and mock the rainbow. But we mock the rainbow that God put in the sky every time we don't repent
• 26:04
  from our sinfulness and our pride. So, final statement, Lucifer, he wanted to ascend and yet Jesus,
• 26:12
  he came down. Lucifer wanted a throne and yet Jesus got off his throne and chose across. Lucifer,
• 26:19
  he lost heaven because he exalted himself. Jesus, he made hell lose because he humbled himself.
• 26:26
  That's the gospel. Oh, man, I've got to mention thank you, Matthew. That was really well said.

  And I'm thinking of Philippians chapter two when it talks about that's it. You know, Jesus humbled
• 26:38
  himself and what a blessing that we know we can know and have relationship with Jesus, the name
• 26:45
  of every name he emptied himself and became mere man. The word became flesh. And it says, have
• 26:51
  this attitude in yourselves. This was an attitude of humility. God did not, or Jesus did not consider
• 26:57
  equality with God something to be graphed. But he came, he provided a way for us to be saved. So
• 27:03
  thank you. Good way to end. But I love, I just love the title of that, the first pride parade.
