- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome to the Emotional Mastery Podcast.
- 0:03Speaker 1: I am your host, rochelle.
- 0:04Speaker 1: I'm a holistic human design health coach and this is a space for human design and spiritual journey.
- 0:10Speaker 1: It's not about being a master of your emotions, rather mastering the tools to self-regulate, to awakening yourself and remembering who you are.
- 0:18Speaker 1: Human design changed my life about five years ago and I've been learning and teaching the system ever since.
- 0:24Speaker 1: This podcast is human design meets spirituality, meets astrology.
- 0:27Speaker 1: You don't have to have a belief system to be here, just an open mind and curiosity.
- 0:32Speaker 1: This is a journey of meeting yourself and awakening to your infinite potential.
- 0:36Speaker 1: Now let the magic begin.
- 0:38Speaker 1: Welcome back to the Emotional Mastery Podcast.
- 0:42Speaker 1: Today we're going to talk about your sun sign.
- 0:44Speaker 1: We went through the moon in your emotions on the last little episode and today we're going to dive into your sun and just as a little sort of recap, I guess, of what I've been moving through and what I've been experiencing and feeling.
- 1:00Speaker 1: I last year I started studying herbalism.
- 1:04Speaker 1: I've always found it fascinating the idea of plants and being in nature and I'm a Taurus, sun and Mercury and MC, and MC is the top most point of your chart and this is the area of your career, your public persona.
- 1:19Speaker 1: It's sort of those things that can really once we lean into that MC energy.
- 1:23Speaker 1: Of course we also have to incorporate the IC, which IC, which is the place of your home, right, it's like the roots for everything.
- 1:28Speaker 1: That's the bottom, most part of the chart.
- 1:30Speaker 1: But that MC point, whatever sign, rules that you can really look to the energy of that sign to integrate, to then use in that area, in your public persona, what people perceive or see you as where you can enhance your career or maybe give you an idea of where you would best find your energy, best find your flow in that area.
- 1:53Speaker 1: And so I think, as a Taurus, sun, mercury and MC, I've always been drawn towards all things earthy.
- 2:01Speaker 1: I'm also a Leo rising, which then further enhances the sun because the sun rules Leo.
- 2:06Speaker 1: So then whatever our chart ruler is is a really prominent piece of our chart.
- 2:09Speaker 1: So just like following that thread in your chart.
- 2:12Speaker 1: But I've always yeah, I've just always been drawn to food specifically.
- 2:16Speaker 1: Like I love food, I love to eat, I love the experience of eating, I love the way it tastes, the way it smells, the temperature, the textures, all these things of eating.
- 2:25Speaker 1: I love the way it tastes, the way it smells, the temperature, the textures, all these things.
- 2:27Speaker 1: And so herbalism was sort of like a natural transition.
- 2:29Speaker 1: I've always been really interested in health, I think because of that, because I want to feel good, so that I can enjoy things and have all my senses intact, so that I can, you know, just be intuitive and just feel in my body.
- 2:44Speaker 1: Taurus is very much about the body, right, it's self-worth, it's the body, and so all of these things have always come up for me.
- 2:49Speaker 1: And so when I started sort of diving into it I think it was about a year ago is when I started a little bit of self-study.
- 2:55Speaker 1: I joined a program to learn a little bit more about herbalism, and actually it started before that, I think about two or three years ago.
- 3:03Speaker 1: I started studying Ayurveda because I'm an MG and I'm all over the place all the time.
- 3:08Speaker 1: It's so fascinating.
- 3:08Speaker 1: And the part of Ayurveda that really fascinated me was, of course, the doshas are really interesting, but understanding herbalism and understanding what can support what.
- 3:19Speaker 1: And I started taking Arjuna.
- 3:21Speaker 1: Actually Arjun Arjuna, I think that's what it's called.
- 3:23Speaker 1: It's a root, it's a really potent taste.
- 3:28Speaker 1: It's really interesting.
- 3:29Speaker 1: But I started taking that for my heart and it just sort of opened me up to all these different avenues or all these different interests, I guess, in understanding the power of plants, because most of our medicine is derived from plants.
- 3:46Speaker 1: Right, there are compounds in it and I am of the mind, just like psilocybin, how they're testing it.
- 3:53Speaker 1: They're doing trials, as far as I've understood.
- 3:55Speaker 1: I haven't thoroughly researched it, but things that I've heard here and there, but that they want to take out the psychedelic compound and put that into some sort of pharmaceutical.
- 4:03Speaker 1: And I'm of the mind that the plant itself is the medicine, not one compound over another.
- 4:09Speaker 1: Right, the psychedelic aspect of psilocybin may be helpful, but the actual plant holds consciousness.
- 4:16Speaker 1: The actual plant, I believe, is the medicine and that's an aspect of it.
- 4:21Speaker 1: And so I think when we separate these pieces of it, we're losing a lot of the magic and the medicine of the plant.
- 4:26Speaker 1: And so I started studying that about a year ago and I don't know that I had the bandwidth for it.
- 4:31Speaker 1: It is a lot of information, understanding different parts of the plant and how to use them and when to use them and what to combine them with and what you can't combine them with, and all these different things, and I was maybe like a month or so ago, the Reflector gave me a book on the alchemy of herbalism and it was basically astroherbalism, which is what I started studying about a year ago, because I was fascinated with the idea that plants and astrology can work together Not that I didn't think that it would, because it completely makes sense and you know, harvesting certain plants during certain moon cycles or when certain planets are on certain signs, and it's just a really beautiful concept.
- 5:13Speaker 1: But again, I feel like I always get a little bit frustrated when I'm starting at the bottom, because it's like I want to know everything.
- 5:18Speaker 1: But so I got that book about a month ago and I started reading through it and I was like, oh my gosh, this is amazing and just like reignited my passion for it.
- 5:28Speaker 1: So I've been really experimenting.
- 5:29Speaker 1: I bought a couple more books, I joined a few memberships.
- 5:30Speaker 1: I am going to re-enroll myself in some sort of herbalism school I'm not sure when, but that is definitely on my list of things to do.
- 5:37Speaker 1: But I've been experimenting with myself because I believe that we are our first client, right, especially when it comes to anything like health, whatever, it is right.
- 5:46Speaker 1: We are our first trial, our first client, our first experiment, and so I've just been incorporating a lot more teas tinctures, just learning a lot more as I'm reading every single day something new.
- 6:01Speaker 1: I'm focusing on certain herbs during certain seasons, like right now I've been really.
- 6:04Speaker 1: Fennel is mercury ruled, specifically mercury ruled Virgo, so it's great for Virgo season, and fennel is also a Pisces plant as well, and so we have this full moon of Pisces coming next Monday or, sorry, tuesday.
- 6:17Speaker 1: So I'm just really supporting myself in that way.
- 6:20Speaker 1: And if you follow me on Instagram, I started in the broadcast channel.
- 6:24Speaker 1: I've been starting to talk about it a lot more over there as well, but in the broadcast channel I'm sort of sharing a little bit more with you and I'm gonna be doing tamarind paste, which is really good to decalcify the pineal gland, and the pineal gland is basically your third eye.
- 6:37Speaker 1: It's the point.
- 6:38Speaker 1: It's this little tiny gland like in the middle of your brain, and tamarind paste really helps that.
- 6:43Speaker 1: And so once we can connect with that and be connected to our intuition which, of course, pisces is super spiritual.
- 6:49Speaker 1: I don't know, herbalistically, if that tamarind paste is specific to Pisces, but the fact that it will help us connect with our intuition, connect with our psychic abilities, is very Pisces, and so in the phase between the Pisces full moon and then our Libra new moon, I'm going to be doing tamar paste every single day to just really activate that pineal gland.
- 7:10Speaker 1: So you're welcome to join me.
- 7:12Speaker 1: If you like, just grab an organic tamar and paste.
- 7:14Speaker 1: You can get it on Amazon, you can probably get it at Whole Foods, sprouts any of your health food stores will probably have it and I think it's about like half a teaspoon in water.
- 7:24Speaker 1: It doesn't taste awful.
- 7:25Speaker 1: It's a little bit bitter, but it doesn't taste awful.
- 7:27Speaker 1: So that's the ways I'm doing that and of course, you know, with any change that we make, it's any holistic change.
- 7:33Speaker 1: We'll say it's not just a one thing right, it's not just adding fennel to your diet, it's not just having teas once a day right, it is a holistic change.
- 7:43Speaker 1: So teas once a day right, it is a holistic change.
- 7:47Speaker 1: So my kids and I have been going for walks a little bit more, moving my body in a little bit different of a way, making sure that I'm not eating a lot of sugars, staying away from processed foods, home cooking as much as I can, trying to get sleep, which is a little bit of a struggle lately because of my work schedule.
- 7:59Speaker 1: I am tired, but I'm using then you know these plant medicines and to support me in gaining more energy or like taking naps when I need to take a nap.
- 8:08Speaker 1: So I actually feel a lot more in my feminine flow, which is something that I is a little bit foreign to me, because I feel like I've always sort of operated from the masculine of like, do, do, do and go, and so I've been a little bit more fluid with that.
- 8:19Speaker 1: So, yeah, I just I feel a lot better, my body feels like it's it's operating better and it's just really inspiring me.
- 8:26Speaker 1: And I put on Instagram I'm feeling called.
- 8:31Speaker 1: So my roots have been in health, fitness and health and I five years ago I think it was five or six years ago I became a holistic health practitioner, went through a program, certified, and so I began all of this rooted in that, and I'm really feeling called to open it up more to holistic health coaching program around that, of course, infusing astrology and human design, because I don't think I can do anything without that.
- 8:58Speaker 1: So if you are feeling called or want to learn more, reach out to me my email address is down in the show notes or DM me on Instagram it's at Rochelle Christian R-O-C-H-E-L-L-E, dot C-H-R-I-S-T-I-A-N-E.
- 9:12Speaker 1: I'm really feeling lit up and excited about this path I've been going towards and this summer if you've been listening this summer has been really challenging, and so I've been facing a lot of shadows, a lot of struggles, a lot of lessons, really learning and growing, and I definitely feel like I'm finally coming out the other side of it now and I feel like just like the magic of it and I feel energized, and so it's just been this really beautiful journey that I feel like I've been on and just a reminder that you know it's all cyclical, so it's.
- 9:38Speaker 1: This too shall pass.
- 9:39Speaker 1: And there was something you know, I don't know, maybe it was like a month or so ago something just clicked in my brain that I can't control what I can't control, and I know I've been saying this to myself for years, I've been journaling on it for years, but something about a month ago something clicked and I think I just decided that I wasn't going to let circumstances dictate how I felt, and so, even though I've been going through some intense things lately, I haven't felt really that emotional dip and I have my moon square Pluto, so I'm not going to pretend like it's never going to happen again, but I think that choosing to pause, choosing to meditate, choosing to do something that will support my health and my mindset has felt more empowering than the alternative.
- 10:28Speaker 1: And so, whatever that shift is, I am really appreciating it and finding gratitude in that and just keeping that perspective that what is is and what I can't control right now.
- 10:45Speaker 1: There is no point stressing about it.
- 10:46Speaker 1: So that's sort of been my lessons.
- 10:52Speaker 1: I guess you could say what I've been experiencing, what I've been going through over the last few weeks, and I'm feeling really excited about it.
- 10:58Speaker 1: So we're going to talk about our sun sign today, and our sun is a really important part of our chart.
- 11:05Speaker 1: You know, we talk about our big three.
- 11:06Speaker 1: Every part of our chart is beautiful and important in its own way, and I was reading a book.
- 11:13Speaker 1: I believe it was Stephen Arroyo if I pronounced that last name correctly or not, I apologize, but he was saying that you know, even the smallest planet, even the smallest thing in our universe, right like we're all connected, has massive impact.
- 11:28Speaker 1: And so you can look at your chart and, yes, we talk about the big three a lot.
- 11:32Speaker 1: We talk about sun, moon and rising, but Pluto has massive impact.
- 11:35Speaker 1: And you know, pluto, the outer planets Pluto, uranus, neptune, jupiter these are outer planets.
- 11:42Speaker 1: They're slower moving planets, they're generational planets, more so the first three, but they still have massive impact on our psyche and the way that we perceive ourself.
- 11:50Speaker 1: And it's all this, it's this beautiful holistic model.
- 11:54Speaker 1: When we look at astrology, every single thing has a part of who we are in it, right, and it was Rudolf Steiner that said our soul.
- 12:03Speaker 1: What we see in our astrology chart, is our soul's journey into this physical body.
- 12:08Speaker 1: So our soul went through that path to come in here, and so that's why it's so impactful for us.
- 12:13Speaker 1: But your sun sign represents your ego, it's your core identity, it's your life purpose, it's your essence, right, because our rising sign is sort of the mask we wear.
- 12:23Speaker 1: It's identified with our physical being.
- 12:25Speaker 1: It can be talked about as our ego, but it's more of the mask we wear, it's identified with our physical being.
- 12:30Speaker 1: It can be talked about as our ego, but it's more so.
- 12:32Speaker 1: That mask we wear it's what people meet when they first meet us and then, as they get to know us, they'll meet our sun sign, our moon sign, our Venus, our Mars, all those different things, right.
- 12:35Speaker 1: But our sun, you know it's the brightest thing in the sky.
- 12:37Speaker 1: It's our core essence, it's what is that wants to shine, to be seen.
- 12:49Speaker 1: But so often we find ourselves dimming that light, self-sabotaging, believing, limiting beliefs, right.
- 12:52Speaker 1: And so we're going to dig into how you can use your sun sign to sort of reprogram these old patterns and align with that more authentic core essence of who you are, right.
- 13:01Speaker 1: So again, it's all you know, this is the brightest thing in the sky.
- 13:06Speaker 1: It's.
- 13:07Speaker 1: We focus a lot or I do on our moon, our emotional world, because I think that's a really important part of who we are.
- 13:15Speaker 1: But the sun is what lights you up, you know we talked about, I mean, for me, the MC really aligns with my sun energy because it's in the same sign and so for me that really activates a lot.
- 13:28Speaker 1: But this really is the sun, really is your core identity and it's what you bring to the world.
- 13:34Speaker 1: So a lot of times when we read you know, zodiac, we read horoscopes, we will read for our sun sign.
- 13:40Speaker 1: Those are actually really better to read for your rising, because your rising dictates the house, the houses, right.
- 13:48Speaker 1: And so when we're reading for that rising sign, typically the horoscope that we're reading is talking about each sign, if that makes sense, the sign in each house, right?
- 13:59Speaker 1: So we can tell you know if the sun is in Sagittarius and you have Sagittarius in the fifth house when you're doing a horoscope reading for a Leo rising.
- 14:07Speaker 1: That is going to be more accurate when we talk about the sun transiting through the fifth house than guessing where the fifth house is when you're if you're a Leo sun.
- 14:15Speaker 1: I hope that makes sense.
- 14:19Speaker 1: But you know the difference between, obviously, the difference between the moon and the sun is that you know the moon represents your emotional world, your inner world, right, it's your emotional core and how you feel inside.
- 14:31Speaker 1: The sun is about how you express yourself on the outside, because this is what everybody can see, right, it's that conscious identity, it's the part of you that is, like, identified like.
- 14:41Speaker 1: This is who I am, this is my essence, this is what I'm bringing to the world, this is the light that I'm shining out into the world and, of course, aspects make a difference on how you feel and express that sun's energy.
- 14:52Speaker 1: So, if you have sun square, your moon, this is your emotions and your ego, like battling constantly, right, you can have sun opposite Pluto, and that's going to bring a depth, it's almost going to make whatever your sun energy is sort of like scorpionic in that sense, and so it really impacts.
- 15:14Speaker 1: You know the aspects that you do have, but generally, as a general rule, your sun is that ego part of you, it is the part of you that shines, the part of you that people that you're bringing out into the world right.
- 15:19Speaker 1: So your sun, like we just talked about, it's tied to your ego, which isn't necessarily a bad thing.
- 15:27Speaker 1: I think our ego gets a bad rap, and for reason.
- 15:31Speaker 1: Right, our ego is there to protect us, but it is also essential for personal growth because it drives us to express our inner world.
- 15:39Speaker 1: Right, when limiting beliefs start to come up, right, and we're attaching to that ego identity, right, then that can really hinder our essence, right, the core of who we are.
- 15:53Speaker 1: Expressing that in a healthy way, right, you might start doubting your worth, you know, or fearing what other people think, and that's where the ego can be a little tricky.
- 16:00Speaker 1: I always look at my ego as sort of like my inner child, and it gives me a little bit more compassion.
- 16:05Speaker 1: I noticed so much and you know I'm a Taurus sun, leo, moon, leo, rising.
- 16:10Speaker 1: So so much fixed energy.
- 16:11Speaker 1: I have so much fixed energy in my chart and I really tie.
- 16:15Speaker 1: I see where my ego plays into that, where it's like sometimes I'm just being stubborn, it's like I know I'm wrong but I'm going to stick to it anyway because I don't want you to see that I'm wrong.
- 16:26Speaker 1: Or just I have this like rebellious nature in me, where it's like if you tell me to do something, I'm going to push against it.
- 16:32Speaker 1: And that's really that sort of like ego.
- 16:34Speaker 1: Right, that it is a wounding and your ego is here to keep you safe, but it can be detrimental to your growth and healing.
- 16:42Speaker 1: And so I think that being aware of the ego and when the ego shows up can be really helpful.
- 16:46Speaker 1: And I've become very conscious of when my ego is playing up.
- 16:50Speaker 1: I notice it in the workplace, I notice it in my home, I notice it with friends, with partners, romantic relationships, like I notice it.
- 16:57Speaker 1: Sometimes it wins, right, because I'm human and we're all human.
- 17:00Speaker 1: But having that awareness of like okay, just take a pause, rochelle, this is the ego.
- 17:06Speaker 1: Do we really need to win this battle?
- 17:08Speaker 1: Right?
- 17:08Speaker 1: Like, is this something that's really going to benefit us in the long run, or can we just be vulnerable and admit, take responsibility and admit that we're wrong here, right, and so it's like it's a practice of coming back to that right?
- 17:20Speaker 1: And so you know, with anything we have limiting beliefs, and this is a beautiful part of human design is that we can see, you know, our open centers and where we've taken on conditioning, and those are the places that are most susceptible to these limiting beliefs and conditioning.
- 17:36Speaker 1: So you know, if you have ever felt like you can't fully express yourself, you know, maybe you're afraid of fear or rejection, which is so common, or sorry, you're afraid of being judged, not afraid of fear you could be afraid of fear as well, but afraid of being judged or rejected.
- 17:51Speaker 1: You've held yourself back, right, and I think for me a lot of times, with that mercury in Taurus as well, I noticed that it's always felt like I was just journaling on this the other night too of like where in my body I tend to hold these things and there's always like a pressure on my chest and my throat, like I think back to every moment in life where I did not express myself.
- 18:12Speaker 1: And of course, taurus rules the throat, which also makes sense, but I've always felt this like, oh, like it's, it's.
- 18:15Speaker 1: It almost hurts when I don't express myself, right?
- 18:18Speaker 1: And this is when I know that there's a part of me that is not in alignment.
- 18:21Speaker 1: There's a part of me that a limiting belief has creeped up and I feel like I can't say what I have to say, or I feel unsafe, or I feel like nobody's going to care whatever it is, and I'm holding back who I am because of these beliefs, right?
- 18:33Speaker 1: So these beliefs that sort of hold you back from being creative and shining your light and all those things.
- 18:40Speaker 1: Right?
- 18:41Speaker 1: Those are the shadows of your sun's energy.
- 18:42Speaker 1: So we can look to our sun sign.
- 18:45Speaker 1: Look, you can do a Google search or whatever and look to the shadow and gifts of your sun sign.
- 18:52Speaker 1: Right, there's a higher expression and a lower expression.
- 18:54Speaker 1: So, just because I'm so familiar with Taurus, right, like Taurus, the higher expression is it's the builder, it's the manifester, it's very sensual, it's focused on material food, money, all these things.
- 19:06Speaker 1: And the shadow is it can be really jealous, it can be really possessive, um, you know, taking money to the extreme.
- 19:12Speaker 1: And so these are the higher expression, the lower expressions of it, right?
- 19:17Speaker 1: Um, cancer, you think about cancer.
- 19:19Speaker 1: It's beautiful, it's emotional, it's sensitive, it's nurturing, but then in its lower expression, its shadow, it can push people out.
- 19:26Speaker 1: Think about the crab it has a hard outer shell, so cancers can actually appear really cold.
- 19:30Speaker 1: They do not let people in, right, they will not let people in.
- 19:32Speaker 1: They're protecting themselves.
- 19:33Speaker 1: That shell is just keeping them everything that's vulnerable and soft and nurturing and beautiful inside and keeping everybody out.
- 19:40Speaker 1: Right, leo, dramatic, it is big and bold, it rules the sun, right.
- 19:46Speaker 1: But then the shadow side can be self-absorbed, right, it can have that ego.
- 19:50Speaker 1: It can be very dramatic.
- 19:51Speaker 1: And so every sign has a higher and a lower expression.
- 19:55Speaker 1: So, identifying what that limiting belief is, identifying when it's coming up and how it's expressing itself through your sun's energy.
- 20:02Speaker 1: So, again, when you're feeling creatively blocked, when you're feeling like you can't express yourself, like there's something going on, there's maybe some limiting belief that's coming up that is holding you back, right.
- 20:11Speaker 1: So again, identifying when those are coming up, how you're feeling, where in your body you're feeling it, and being able to move through that can be really helpful.
- 20:22Speaker 1: And it's, you know, it's a matter of rewriting those subconscious beliefs.
- 20:28Speaker 1: It's a matter of rewriting your story.
- 20:29Speaker 1: It's a matter of reiterating or believing your worth and feeling your worth and leaning into that, you know.
- 20:39Speaker 1: So you know, if you're an Aries and you've suppressed your natural assertiveness out of a fear of being too much right, then you're not really fully living in alignment with your true self.
- 20:49Speaker 1: And the thing with our sun is we think that we're born in.
- 20:52Speaker 1: Our sun's energy just shines.
- 20:54Speaker 1: Your sun's energy is actually something that you're growing into right.
- 21:01Speaker 1: So we're sort of operating through the lens of our rising sign and we're growing into the energy of our sun sign.
- 21:05Speaker 1: So sometimes it takes work to really embody that energy.
- 21:09Speaker 1: As a Taurus sun, I wasn't always deeply in tune with my body.
- 21:12Speaker 1: I wasn't always.
- 21:13Speaker 1: You know, I feel like.
- 21:14Speaker 1: You know, I have my moon in the 12th house, which is very Pisces, right, pisces rules the 12th house.
- 21:19Speaker 1: It's in Cancer, but Pisces rules the 12th house, naturally.
- 21:22Speaker 1: So I've always felt this disconnect, this need to numb out and to.
- 21:29Speaker 1: I have a Neptune in my fifth house, which is probably why.
- 21:32Speaker 1: But I have always felt this pull more towards those addictive tendencies, those numbing coping skills.
- 21:44Speaker 1: And so it wasn't really until I really began to change through my fitness journey, through cleaning up my health and my body, that I began to really tune into my body and then I was able to really integrate and access the energy of Taurus that was inside of me.
- 22:02Speaker 1: Right, here's a little rewiring what's the word?
- 22:09Speaker 1: I'm looking for Exercise, I guess so you can rewire your limiting beliefs.
- 22:16Speaker 1: Right, we've talked about that so many times on this podcast, through guests and solos.
- 22:19Speaker 1: You really don't have to stay stuck in these patterns and limiting beliefs.
- 22:23Speaker 1: We can really push through them and it really takes intention.
- 22:28Speaker 1: It takes continuing to show up repetition and emotion.
- 22:29Speaker 1: That's like the key here.
- 22:29Speaker 1: Right, so we can really push through them and it really takes intention.
- 22:30Speaker 1: It takes continuing to show up repetition and emotion.
- 22:31Speaker 1: That's like the key here.
- 22:32Speaker 1: Right, so we can use the strength of your sun sign to reprogram your old beliefs.
- 22:37Speaker 1: So here's a tool that you can use today, right, so identify the key strengths of your sun sign.
- 22:44Speaker 1: So, like I said before, you can do a Google search, youtube, whatever, listen I love to just like learn podcasts, right, just like finding something that talks about your sun sign and identify the key strengths that you value.
- 22:58Speaker 1: Right, because if you don't value it, it doesn't really matter.
- 23:01Speaker 1: The key strengths that you value and that you feel inside of you and sometimes those strengths are things that trigger us, because if we suppressed a part of ourself, when we see it in somebody else, it feels really triggering and we can perceive it as like a negative thing.
- 23:15Speaker 1: But it's really something that we have, that we want to embody, but we had to suppress it in order to actually receive love.
- 23:21Speaker 1: Right, so, identifying your key strengths that you value so, for an example, if you're a Leo, leos are known for confidence and creativity right, so you can visualize yourself embodying these qualities in a situation where you'd normally feel insecure.
- 23:35Speaker 1: Visualization is such a beautiful technique, right?
- 23:37Speaker 1: So this daily visualization can rewire subconscious to believe in your own power.
- 23:41Speaker 1: So, if you do it for like five minutes in the morning, five minutes at night, just once a day, doesn't have to be five minutes, three minutes, whatever works best for you, because I know starting a habit can be a little bit more challenging.
- 23:53Speaker 1: So if you've already got to practice that's amazing.
- 23:55Speaker 1: You can add this in.
- 23:55Speaker 1: Or if you just, you can even record take five minutes.
- 24:00Speaker 1: If you want to pause this, you can take five minutes and write out a visualization, record it on your notes app, listen to it in the car, like something that will have that there during the day that you can do it right.
- 24:09Speaker 1: So after you've done that visualization, you can affirm your worth, your self-worth, right With statements that align with your sun sign.
- 24:15Speaker 1: So another example if you're a Capricorn, your affirmation could be I am worthy of success and my determination is a gift.
- 24:23Speaker 1: So you can speak these affirmations.
- 24:26Speaker 1: After you've done the visualization right, you can speak them to yourself in the mirror, making like literally looking yourself in the eye.
- 24:31Speaker 1: I do that a lot.
- 24:32Speaker 1: When I feel insecure, I will force myself to just like stare at myself in the mirror and I talk to myself.
- 24:37Speaker 1: But you can do that with these affirmations.
- 24:38Speaker 1: You can just tack them on to the end of that recording if you do that, because then it'll show it that you'll be listening to the visualization and the affirmation and listening to the visualization and the affirmation.
- 24:47Speaker 1: And anytime you feel insecure you can just repeat this, like have it on loop in your mind.
- 24:51Speaker 1: And so once you've done that, you know that could be two minutes, three minutes, five minutes, 10 minutes, whatever feels right for you.
- 25:01Speaker 1: You can grab a journal and just ask yourself this question when in my life have I been playing small or dimming my light.
- 25:07Speaker 1: What would it look like to fully express my sun sign strengths in these areas?
- 25:13Speaker 1: And this will really help you identify the beliefs that are keeping you stuck and help you then be able to rewire that and step into your power.
- 25:21Speaker 1: Right?
- 25:21Speaker 1: It's in every revolving journey.
- 25:25Speaker 1: It doesn't end once.
- 25:26Speaker 1: It's not like you're going to do this for 28 days or whatever.
- 25:29Speaker 1: Right, like moon cycles are really beautiful.
- 25:30Speaker 1: I like to work with the moon cycles, but it's not like you're going to be doing that and then, all of a sudden, everything's going to be changed.
- 25:34Speaker 1: It can, depending on how much work you've done, right, but typically it really takes repetition and emotion and consistency and continuing to show up and but through the journey you'll uncover and become more intimate with you, your chart, who you are, what I love to do as well, and sometimes I'll do it, go back and revisit it and just like, go back to it, but I take the energy.
- 26:00Speaker 1: So if we're working with the sun sign, right, I will write down my sun energy and I will just pick through.
- 26:05Speaker 1: I mean, I have tons of resource books, but I will pick through all the things that call out to me, that feel resonant.
- 26:09Speaker 1: I'll write them down.
- 26:10Speaker 1: Then you can look at the aspects.
- 26:11Speaker 1: So say, you have moon, square, pluto.
- 26:13Speaker 1: Do a little research and see what that is, pull out those keywords and phrases and write those down.
- 26:18Speaker 1: Just give you a visual of like all that energy that is held within that sign and those aspects and what you embody, what you want to embody, and that'll really and just sit with that.
- 26:31Speaker 1: Right, like the next solo episode is going to be a week after next, so two weeks from today.
- 26:35Speaker 1: Right, so you can sit with that energy for the next like two weeks, right, and just see how it feels.
- 26:41Speaker 1: It's sort of like you know the gene keys where we contemplate.
- 26:43Speaker 1: It's like going through one gate at a time and really just sitting with it, like listening to it over and over and over again.
- 26:49Speaker 1: Right, if you find a YouTube video on the sun in Leo, right, like maybe listen to it a few times and just see what resonates, see what feels good, see what feels right, again, researching those aspects as well to see how that shows up for you and how it feels.
- 27:01Speaker 1: It'll really help you get deep and more intimate with that aspect of yourself and then you'll have this awareness, as you're walking through your day of that energy and how it manifests, and when you're feeling triggered, when you're disconnected from it and when you're not creating, being creative or embodying that energy, when your ego's like flaring up too much, right, we'll just give you this awareness as you move through your day, and so then you'll have the awareness and then you'll have these reprogramming tools, right, like again, like just recording a visualization and affirmations on your phone that you can listen to whenever, right, nobody else has to hear it, it's just you.
- 27:34Speaker 1: But it'll really help to create that visualization, right, because our mind is so powerful.
- 27:40Speaker 1: Mind is so powerful.
- 27:41Speaker 1: What we believe, what we see in our mind, really can manifest in reality.
- 27:45Speaker 1: And so when we're seeing and integrating and continually telling ourselves these, the highest expression of what we want to embody when it comes to our son's energy, can really help us actually call that in and bring it in to yourself.
- 28:01Speaker 1: So I hope this episode was supportive and I hope that you use the tools.
- 28:07Speaker 1: If you do, let me know how it goes.
