• 2:06
Speaker 1: So play along at home, get your scorecard.
• 2:11
Speaker 1: I don't like the wheels on this car but I do like the car.
• 2:14
Speaker 1: Got a disclaimer up front Disclaimer 1964 Chevrolet Impala he's a Bala and he's a shot.
• 2:23
  Speaker 1: Kala.
• 2:23
Speaker 1: Okay, driving his Impala.
• 2:29
  Speaker 1: He's a Bala and he's a shot Kala.
• 2:30
  Speaker 1: Driving his Impala.
• 2:31
  Speaker 1: 1964 Chevy Impala two-door hardtop.
• 2:35
Speaker 1: Okay, all right, it's red in color with a white top and it's got a red and white interior.
• 2:39
Speaker 1: I would say that this is a driver.
• 2:42
  Speaker 1: I wouldn't say it's a show car.
• 2:43
Speaker 1: I'm sure that the owner would probably say something different, but I'm telling you right now it's got some ugly wheels on it that I would immediately change, but it sold last week from Hemmingscom, okay, and it looks clean, straight.
• 3:01
Speaker 1: It's got all of the chrome accessories on it that it needs to have.
• 3:05
Speaker 1: What do you think, michael?
• 3:06
  Speaker 3: The 75 Impala 64.
• 3:09
  Speaker 2: Impala.
• 3:09
Speaker 1: You know, there's something about paying attention, that just doesn't make it to the end of the table.
• 3:16
Speaker 3: I'm trying to cheat to get some of our audience over here to help.
• 3:19
Speaker 3: What are you cheating with?
• 3:20
Speaker 3: Well, I'm trying to see if George or somebody got an idea how much that would cost, but I can't type fast enough with my fingers, uh-huh.
• 3:27
  Speaker 1: Well, it's a 64.
• 3:28
  Speaker 1: Chevy Impala, it's not a 77?
• 3:29
  Speaker 1: .
• 3:30
  Speaker 3: Ugly wheel.
• 3:31
  Speaker 1: Two-door hardtop okay.
• 3:33
Speaker 1: Red with a white top and a red and white interior how much would you think?
• 3:38
  Speaker 2: that that's sold for I'm saying $21,000.
• 3:39
Speaker 2: I'd give you more, but it's got ugly wheels oh, no, well, I'm gonna go.
• 3:42
Speaker 1: 28 well, both of you are wrong.
• 3:44
  Speaker 2: It's sold for 33 000 oh, you're closer, I'll give you that.
• 3:48
Speaker 2: Would it be nice today?
• 3:49
  Speaker 2: I don't know if I'd pay 33 000 for it or 21 I'd pay 21 for it would you?
• 3:54
Speaker 1: yeah, but different way.
• 3:56
Speaker 1: You know, when you buy something like this, all I can think of is the amount of trouble that you are buying wrapped in a 1964 cherolet.
• 4:06
  Speaker 1: Impala.
• 4:06
Speaker 1: What are you going to do?
• 4:07
Speaker 1: I thought that this was cool.
• 4:10
Speaker 1: You know, Toyota made an FJ.
• 4:14
Speaker 1: Yes, Remember the FJ.
• 4:16
Speaker 1: I really liked it.
• 4:17
Speaker 1: Matter of fact, Leslie owned one at one time.
• 4:19
Speaker 1: It was built on a modified 4Runner chassis.
• 4:24
Speaker 1: But prior to this, many years ago 1982 to be specific Toyota built an FJ40.
• 4:33
Speaker 1: And it looked like kind of a Jeep Wrangler.
• 4:38
  Speaker 1: Okay, it's an 82.
• 4:45
Speaker 1: I'm going to show you a picture of it.
• 4:47
Speaker 1: Okay, there it is the yellow thing there under the left thumb see yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah okay, you don't see too many of them around.
• 4:56
Speaker 1: no, uh, probably a rust issue, I would imagine 1982.
• 5:02
Speaker 1: Uh, what do you think something like that would sell for in the United States today on the used car market?
• 5:08
Speaker 1: Now is, this is not a show car.
• 5:10
Speaker 1: Okay, this is a driver.
• 5:11
Speaker 2: Is it right-hand drive or left-hand drive?
• 5:13
  Speaker 1: It looks like it's a left-hand drive 82.
• 5:17
Speaker 1: I mean they built stuff for the American market then.
• 5:21
  Speaker 3: Yeah.
• 5:21
Speaker 1: Unlike the 60s where you could get right hand drives.
• 5:23
  Speaker 1: I'm gonna go 16 I'm gonna go 32 6601 dollars.
• 5:29
Speaker 1: You guys missing it.
• 5:31
Speaker 3: Really bad today no, but I mean, I've seen some of those selling, and maybe not for that much money, but they didn't sell for six thousand dollars six thousand six hundred dollars, geez.
• 5:42
Speaker 1: Now I think that there's been some modifications to this.
• 5:45
Speaker 2: A 1967 buick riviera oh yeah, boat tail no 67 newer so there it is, there's, oh, that's, yeah, it's got, that's a restomod there it's a restomod?
• 6:01
Speaker 1: I think so too yeah looks like a restomod.
• 6:04
Speaker 1: It's got a real pretty maroon paint job on it.
• 6:06
Speaker 1: Obviously it's a two-door wheels and again some real ugly wheels on it 41 how much?
• 6:12
  Speaker 2: 41?
• 6:14
Speaker 1: I'm thinking 22, well bars you're close, but no cigar, it's sold for $14,700.
• 6:23
Speaker 1: Really, yeah, I don't know why, because it looks pretty cool except for the wheels.
• 6:28
  Speaker 1: There you go.
• 6:29
Speaker 1: Take a look at that Horse hockey.
• 6:32
Speaker 1: Now let's bump it up a few years and let's talk about a 1985 Buick Riviera.
• 6:40
Speaker 1: It lost the whole Riviera thing To me in 1985, the whole Riviera thing was gone because of the styling.
• 6:52
Speaker 1: This one had that opera roof on it, that quick back roof.
• 6:58
Speaker 1: I'll show it to you.
• 7:00
Speaker 1: There it is upper right-hand corner.
• 7:03
Speaker 1: It's that plain Jane-looking Riviera thing.
• 7:07
Speaker 3: Yeah, it's getting more like a lot of the Buicks it had hints of the Cadillac in that year too.
• 7:11
Speaker 1: Yeah, because the Cadillac had the chopbacks.
• 7:12
Speaker 1: Yeah, that Eldorado thing, yeah, and it might have been the same thing.
• 7:17
Speaker 1: 85 Buick Riviera what do you think that sold 12.
• 7:21
  Speaker 3: 7.
• 7:23
  Speaker 1: $9,350.
• 7:26
Speaker 2: We kind of split the difference on that one.
• 7:29
Speaker 2: But you notice, you did the Invista.
• 7:30
  Speaker 2: I own a Buick.
• 7:31
Speaker 2: He's already talked about two Buicks.
• 7:32
Speaker 2: I think we're winning them over on the Buick.
• 7:34
Speaker 2: I think we are.
• 7:35
Speaker 1: Well, my dad was a big Buick man.
• 7:37
Speaker 2: His dad was a Buick man.
• 7:38
  Speaker 1: There you go.
• 7:39
Speaker 1: Here's one for Bobby at Hot Rod Tour of Texas.
• 7:46
Speaker 1: I think he's got one that's similar to this.
• 7:48
  Speaker 1: This is a 57 Ford F-150.
• 7:51
  Speaker 1: I don't know what year.
• 7:53
Speaker 1: His is Bobby Sparkman.
• 7:55
Speaker 3: I think it's Jeremy's the yellow one, yeah, the yellow one, the.
• 7:58
  Speaker 3: Jeremy's yeah.
• 7:59
Speaker 1: Oh, that's right, Bobby's got the police car, yeah, and.
• 8:01
Speaker 3: I think he just bought something else, el Camino, I think.
• 8:05
Speaker 1: He the police car, yeah, yeah, and I think he just bought something else El Camino, I think he did.
• 8:07
  Speaker 1: I think I saw that.
• 8:07
  Speaker 1: Yeah, 57 Ford.
• 8:07
  Speaker 2: F-150.
• 8:08
  Speaker 2: Black on black.
• 8:08
Speaker 2: I'm going to let you do that for a minute and it looks nice.
• 8:10
  Speaker 1: I don't think it's a show car, I think it's a driver.
• 8:12
Speaker 1: What do you think something like that would sell for?
• 8:14
  Speaker 3: You.
• 8:18
  Speaker 1: They're aftermarket, bettina.
• 8:20
Speaker 1: No no, no, it's been painted.
• 8:22
Speaker 3: Yeah, so somebody's done some work on it.
• 8:24
Speaker 3: I would punch it up around 18.
• 8:28
  Speaker 2: I'll go back to 32.
• 8:30
  Speaker 1: This one's 17, 850.
• 8:32
Speaker 1: And you said 18?
• 8:32
Speaker 1: Yeah, Morris said 18.
• 8:34
Speaker 1: I'll give it to you.
• 8:34
  Speaker 2: There you go.
• 8:35
Speaker 1: They're popular, but if they're driving it, man, I'll tell you, you know I love my corvette.
• 8:47
Speaker 1: I do, but you know, because I have it doesn't mean that it just sits there and does nothing until I drive it, because there's work that has to be done to it all the time, right, and the next big expense is to get that stupid harmonic balancer replaced before it walks itself off of the crank shaft and they're known to do that.
• 9:06
Speaker 1: Yeah, and I don't want to be on the hot rod tour when that thing decides that it's time to let go.
• 9:11
  Speaker 3: Yeah.
• 9:12
Speaker 1: And it's going to be at least $1,000.
• 9:16
Speaker 3: I would think at least.
• 9:17
Speaker 1: Well, they have to take the rack off the front of the steering, rack off of it, right, right.
• 9:21
Speaker 1: But if you've got the right tools and you do, it Got the lift.
• 9:25
  Speaker 3: You've got a lift.
• 9:25
  Speaker 3: You're in a shop.
• 9:26
Speaker 3: You're doing it out in your driveway.
• 9:28
Speaker 1: Yeah, no, it ain't happening out there, but yeah, from what I can tell, most places with the part and the labor it's $1,000.
• 9:38
Speaker 3: I'm not doing it.
• 9:38
  Speaker 3: No, I wouldn't either.
• 9:39
Speaker 3: And not to get Chitek too far.
• 9:41
Speaker 3: You know, I've been looking, I keep hoping one of these days to be able to buy an older Corvette and you find one like yours.
• 9:47
Speaker 3: You can't get in and out of it, Mars, I can, but you can't.
• 9:51
Speaker 3: But to find one like yours that's got low miles, that somebody else's own, you don't know anything about it.
• 9:56
Speaker 3: Well then you start thinking about hoses, harmonic balancers.
• 10:00
Speaker 3: You know, this is a 25, 28 year old car, depending on what year you get, and if it's only got 30,000 miles on it, then I mean there's a lot of things that can just basically dry rock.
• 10:13
  Speaker 4: Pretty much.
• 10:15
Speaker 3: And so that's kind of where I've been kind of struggling, which I can't afford one yet, but I'm looking and I'm kind of like dang it gum, do you want to go that far back?
• 10:22
Speaker 3: But I want to be able to drive it.
• 10:24
Speaker 2: Maybe I don't like the new ones.
• 10:25
Speaker 2: You should go in the opposite direction, start collecting the parts and then find the car.
• 10:30
Speaker 2: Oh God, Neaterville, Neaterville, that's right.
• 10:36
Speaker 1: Hey, you boys got any Corvette?
• 10:38
Speaker 1: What hey Corvette parts over here?
• 10:41
  Speaker 1: What's a Corvette?
• 10:42
  Speaker 1: The?
• 10:43
Speaker 1: Year is a 1991 Chevrolet Astro van.
• 10:50
Speaker 2: I drove one from Houston to Florida on vacation years and years ago.
• 10:54
Speaker 2: It was a cool cool experience.
• 10:59
Speaker 1: You know who used to have one.
• 11:00
Speaker 1: They just sold it recently.
• 11:02
Speaker 1: Bill and Sharon Seitz.
• 11:03
Speaker 1: Oh really yeah, mr Corvette.
• 11:04
Speaker 1: Bill and Sharon Seitz.
• 11:05
Speaker 1: Oh really yeah, mr Corvette.
• 11:06
  Speaker 1: Mr Bill Seitz.
• 11:07
Speaker 2: I didn't know that they had a Chevy Astro van.
• 11:09
Speaker 1: When he told me he sold it I thought you've got to be kidding, I would imagine he had it in good shape.
• 11:14
Speaker 2: I would imagine it would be in pristine shape.
• 11:16
  Speaker 2: Well, I don't know, it's old.
• 11:17
Speaker 2: Well, still seriously, I had an Ast but still seriously took the family out there.
• 11:21
Speaker 3: It was a great, great trip.
• 11:22
Speaker 3: And then, once I got rid of that, I got a GMC Safari van which was just the GMC version of it.
• 11:28
  Speaker 2: Yeah.
• 11:29
Speaker 3: Drove both of them.
• 11:29
Speaker 3: Yeah, I like that.
• 11:32
Speaker 3: I can see that I can see you driving the wheels off of it?
• 11:35
Speaker 1: Yeah, you probably drove it all the way to the cord shows, through the steel bells and then some.
• 11:42
Speaker 3: So the GMC, it was in between wives, I'll put it that way and somebody set me up with a lawyer, a female lawyer, for a date and I went to pick her up in that thing.
• 11:51
Speaker 3: Oh my, that was the end of that.
• 11:53
Speaker 3: Yeah, I was going to say she said no, not no, I'm not going to go with you in one of those conversions.
• 11:59
Speaker 2: In one of those shagging wagons.
• 12:01
Speaker 2: There you go Her expectations, you nasty man.
• 12:04
Speaker 2: Her expectations were different than yours.
• 12:07
Speaker 1: No, they weren't the expectations, because there was no expectation, not with Mars.
• 12:13
Speaker 1: He probably had, you know, things in the back of it like Shovel.
• 12:19
Speaker 3: Wheelbarrow Robe Duct tape.
• 12:22
  Speaker 1: No no.
• 12:22
Speaker 3: It was a conversion van.
• 12:23
Speaker 3: It had the bed and the check van.
• 12:24
Speaker 3: And the carpet on the walls.
• 12:27
Speaker 1: Oh my God, Don't get me started Custom paint.
• 12:29
Speaker 3: Oh man, it was cool.
• 12:31
Speaker 1: Well, how much do you think?
• 12:31
  Speaker 1: A 91 Astro?
• 12:33
  Speaker 3: is Priceless.
• 12:34
Speaker 1: These days Nine grand.
• 12:36
Speaker 1: It looks like it's a conversion.
• 12:38
Speaker 2: Nine grand, nine grand, nine grand Mars, I would go more like six.
• 12:45
  Speaker 2: How about $11,550?
• 12:45
Speaker 2: Oh, I'm taking that one.
• 12:45
  Speaker 2: I got one.
• 12:47
Speaker 1: Here's one for you that I guess I've kind of heard about this, but I'm not too sure A 2015 Backdraft Racing Cobra Backdraft what the hell?
• 12:58
Speaker 1: Backdraft, I guess, was the name of the company that built the body.
• 13:02
Speaker 1: I guess I don't know it's one of those kit cars.
• 13:06
Speaker 3: Oh, okay, yeah, yeah, like a Cobra kit car.
• 13:08
  Speaker 3: Uh-huh Okay okay, I assume.
• 13:10
Speaker 3: Well, I'm thinking Mustangs and.
• 13:12
Speaker 1: No Backdraft Racing Cobra.
• 13:14
Speaker 2: Doesn't that have to do with the motor Configuring Backdraft for the carburetors?
• 13:19
  Speaker 1: I don't know.
• 13:20
Speaker 3: I think there was a fire movie or something about bag draft.
• 13:23
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, there, it is All right.
• 13:25
Speaker 1: So how much do?
• 13:26
  Speaker 3: you think?
• 13:26
  Speaker 1: 41.
• 13:26
  Speaker 1: 41?
• 13:27
  Speaker 1: .
• 13:29
  Speaker 3: I would say 36.
• 13:32
  Speaker 1: $63,000.
• 13:36
Speaker 3: Must be really nice, I guess.
• 13:41
  Speaker 1: They interest me.
• 13:41
Speaker 1: But why would you want to have a go-kart with a V8 engine in it?
• 13:45
Speaker 1: Well, you have one.
• 13:47
Speaker 1: No, no, not like that.
• 13:49
Speaker 2: Not an open-top Cobra.
• 13:50
Speaker 2: Well, you talked about getting in and out of it.
• 13:53
Speaker 1: It's a race car for the street Right right.
• 13:55
Speaker 2: But when I went with him to Jackie's he had to push me out of the car.
• 14:00
  Speaker 3: I couldn't get in.
• 14:02
Speaker 3: So that one though.
• 14:03
Speaker 3: But that's not a street car though, is it?
• 14:05
  Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah.
• 14:06
  Speaker 1: Street car.
• 14:07
  Speaker 3: That one.
• 14:09
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, street legal Okay.
• 14:11
Speaker 2: I don't think Hemmings would sell something.
• 14:12
Speaker 2: They'd have to have some kind of disclaimer.
• 14:14
  Speaker 2: I don't know.
• 14:23
Speaker 3: I mean they have a disclaimer that it's straight legal.
• 14:24
Speaker 3: Heisman said 15,000 on the van.
• 14:25
Speaker 2: How'd you do at home?
• 14:26
Speaker 2: Anybody get it at home.
• 14:27
Speaker 2: What did he say?
• 14:28

• 14:30
Speaker 3: Well, he was close.
• 14:31
  Speaker 3: Yeah, closer than.
• 14:33
  Speaker 1: I was.
• 14:33
  Speaker 1: You know why?

• 14:38
Speaker 1: No, I take that back.
• 14:40
Speaker 1: Well, at least the one that I saw him driving was not an Astro van.
• 14:43
Speaker 1: It was white and was down by the river.
• 14:46
  Speaker 1: It wasn't a van.
• 14:46
