- WEBVTT 00:00:11.300 --> 00:00:13.419 What's up, friends? Welcome into another episode 00:00:13.419 --> 00:00:15.839 of Tables, Tailgates, and Toploaders. So happy 00:00:15.839 --> 00:00:18.820 to have you all aboard for this episode. I am 00:00:18.820 --> 00:00:21.300 your host, TB. Thank you all very much for stopping 00:00:21.300 --> 00:00:24.260 in and checking out another episode of the 3Ts. 00:00:24.359 --> 00:00:26.800 We just keep rolling right along. We have a lot 00:00:26.800 --> 00:00:29.820 to get to, so let's not waste any time. We're 00:00:29.820 --> 00:00:32.509 going to start off with wrestling marks. How 00:00:32.509 --> 00:00:35.649 the heck are we feeling coming off a crazy weekend 00:00:35.649 --> 00:00:38.350 of wrestling? Survivor Series, War Games, Pepco 00:00:38.350 --> 00:00:41.490 Park, San Diego, California. It came at you Saturday 00:00:41.490 --> 00:00:46.570 night right around 7 p .m. And, well, how do 00:00:46.570 --> 00:00:48.509 we feel after coming out of that pay -per -view? 00:00:48.729 --> 00:00:52.229 I think the word I want to use is underwhelming. 00:00:52.719 --> 00:00:55.039 I'm going to go with underwhelming. Now, I had 00:00:55.039 --> 00:00:57.920 done a preview of Survivor Series War Games last 00:00:57.920 --> 00:01:01.259 week. We had broken down each and every one of 00:01:01.259 --> 00:01:04.359 the four matches, and they didn't even add anything 00:01:04.359 --> 00:01:09.069 to this card. Four matches, and it was bookend 00:01:09.069 --> 00:01:11.810 by the Ward Games match. The pay -per -view started 00:01:11.810 --> 00:01:14.310 off with the women's match. Now, a couple things. 00:01:14.530 --> 00:01:16.890 The stadium looked pretty cool. I wonder what 00:01:16.890 --> 00:01:19.590 the sight lines were if you were sitting up top 00:01:19.590 --> 00:01:23.549 in the upper decks of Pepco. I wonder if you 00:01:23.549 --> 00:01:26.450 were able to see, because the set that they built 00:01:26.450 --> 00:01:28.549 around the ring and everything looked kind of 00:01:28.549 --> 00:01:31.329 crazy. I just really wonder when you put these 00:01:31.329 --> 00:01:35.299 events in a baseball stadium. How good are these 00:01:35.299 --> 00:01:37.939 seats actually? Because you never know what the 00:01:37.939 --> 00:01:39.560 heck you're paying for. And these tickets are 00:01:39.560 --> 00:01:42.299 so darn expensive. That's my biggest hang up 00:01:42.299 --> 00:01:45.000 when it comes to going to WrestleMania and shows 00:01:45.000 --> 00:01:47.099 like this. You never really know what you're 00:01:47.099 --> 00:01:49.579 going to get when you pay hundreds and hundreds 00:01:49.579 --> 00:01:51.219 and hundreds of dollars for these seats. But 00:01:51.219 --> 00:01:54.219 visually on TV, it came off looking pretty cool. 00:01:54.379 --> 00:01:57.780 I love the once the sun went down and the fireworks, 00:01:58.120 --> 00:02:00.099 you know, they're shooting fireworks into the 00:02:00.099 --> 00:02:03.879 sky as the sun setting. It just looks sick. Visuals 00:02:03.879 --> 00:02:05.400 are awesome. They always do a really good job 00:02:05.400 --> 00:02:09.000 with that. But for the actual pay -per -view, 00:02:09.139 --> 00:02:12.659 the War Games match, I told you last week I was 00:02:12.659 --> 00:02:16.599 getting nostalgia for the old school Survivor 00:02:16.599 --> 00:02:18.419 Series matches. It's one of my favorite pay -per 00:02:18.419 --> 00:02:20.780 -views. They talked about this on the broadcast, 00:02:20.960 --> 00:02:22.800 how Survivor Series is one of the longest reigning 00:02:22.800 --> 00:02:24.639 pay -per -views ever. I think this was, what, 00:02:24.699 --> 00:02:28.740 year 37? And over the last four or five years, 00:02:28.879 --> 00:02:30.759 I think four years, five years, I can't remember, 00:02:30.860 --> 00:02:32.680 but they had gotten away from the traditional 00:02:32.680 --> 00:02:35.819 Survivor Series matches, which was kind of disappointing. 00:02:36.000 --> 00:02:38.419 And now the focus of this pay -per -view is this 00:02:38.419 --> 00:02:42.719 War Games setup. And to me, I just don't think 00:02:42.719 --> 00:02:46.020 these War Games matches bring anything of substance 00:02:46.020 --> 00:02:48.419 to the show. And I wish that they would get away 00:02:48.419 --> 00:02:51.319 from designing your pay -per -view around a simple 00:02:51.319 --> 00:02:53.919 structure. It just doesn't make any sense to 00:02:53.919 --> 00:02:56.780 me. First of all, the War Games matches, I just 00:02:56.780 --> 00:02:59.419 don't think they're that entertaining. I don't 00:02:59.419 --> 00:03:01.500 think they're that exciting. I just think that 00:03:01.500 --> 00:03:04.639 they are too much without being anything of real 00:03:04.639 --> 00:03:07.800 substance, if that makes sense. So before each 00:03:07.800 --> 00:03:11.379 match, you have to have a... 45 second dissertation 00:03:11.379 --> 00:03:13.860 about what the rules are to the match and they 00:03:13.860 --> 00:03:16.080 did this before the women's match and before 00:03:16.080 --> 00:03:19.159 the men's match and so you have to explain the 00:03:19.159 --> 00:03:21.840 rules over and over again and if you have to 00:03:21.840 --> 00:03:25.439 explain what the rules are to a common maybe 00:03:25.439 --> 00:03:28.560 casual wrestling fan your match is too convoluted 00:03:28.560 --> 00:03:30.979 and it doesn't make sense but the whole point 00:03:30.979 --> 00:03:33.469 of these war games matches is It's supposed to 00:03:33.469 --> 00:03:36.949 be to blow off these long -running, huge feuds. 00:03:37.250 --> 00:03:39.870 It's the blood feud, right? You're pitting one 00:03:39.870 --> 00:03:42.449 team who historically has been together for quite 00:03:42.449 --> 00:03:44.689 some time and no one can dethrone them, and now 00:03:44.689 --> 00:03:47.990 you're putting together another team of super 00:03:47.990 --> 00:03:50.189 friends or whatever you want to call them to 00:03:50.189 --> 00:03:53.250 knock off this long -running threat, right? Well, 00:03:53.389 --> 00:03:56.629 did we really see that Saturday night? in San 00:03:56.629 --> 00:03:59.069 Diego, the women's match, which started, you 00:03:59.069 --> 00:04:02.129 had the heel side. So it was Nia Jax, Lash Legend, 00:04:02.490 --> 00:04:05.189 Becky Lynch, and the Kabuki Warriors. They were 00:04:05.189 --> 00:04:07.129 pieced together, which is what I talked about. 00:04:07.349 --> 00:04:09.729 This team was pieced together two weeks prior 00:04:09.729 --> 00:04:13.169 to the event taking place on Saturday. So you 00:04:13.169 --> 00:04:15.949 want to talk a long running feud. There really 00:04:15.949 --> 00:04:18.870 wasn't a lot there. Yeah, you had some mini feuds 00:04:18.870 --> 00:04:21.870 and you had AJ versus Becky and the Kabuki Warriors 00:04:21.870 --> 00:04:24.829 versus, I don't know, they're fighting with everybody, 00:04:24.889 --> 00:04:27.879 it seems like. No real feud that had kind of 00:04:27.879 --> 00:04:32.699 been woven out amongst the storylines for months 00:04:32.699 --> 00:04:36.259 and months. So I just don't think the match supported 00:04:36.259 --> 00:04:39.759 what the storyline was. And now you are designing 00:04:39.759 --> 00:04:42.060 a pay -per -view just because that's the name 00:04:42.060 --> 00:04:46.560 of your show. And I just, I don't know. I didn't 00:04:46.560 --> 00:04:48.980 see the War Games matches being that impactful. 00:04:49.339 --> 00:04:51.819 The other thing about the War Games matches that 00:04:51.819 --> 00:04:55.000 there's kind of no rules, but you would expect, 00:04:55.579 --> 00:04:58.379 total chaos in these things and I thought for 00:04:58.379 --> 00:05:01.740 as unpredictable and as chaotic as the match 00:05:01.740 --> 00:05:05.040 should be it left a lot to be desired I just 00:05:05.040 --> 00:05:07.699 felt like the cage is a structure that they just 00:05:07.699 --> 00:05:09.860 happen to be wrestling a regular run -of -the 00:05:09.860 --> 00:05:11.939 -mill match and they throw in a couple weapons 00:05:11.939 --> 00:05:15.339 and it's supposed to be you know no holds barred 00:05:15.339 --> 00:05:18.660 and all kinds of stuff, no rules, but literally 00:05:18.660 --> 00:05:20.899 all you saw, you saw a kendo stick, you saw a 00:05:20.899 --> 00:05:23.439 chair, you saw a chain, and you saw a garbage 00:05:23.439 --> 00:05:25.680 can. And you're supposed to think, oh my gosh, 00:05:25.779 --> 00:05:29.110 this is a... This is extreme. And I'm like, there's 00:05:29.110 --> 00:05:31.350 nothing extreme about this match whatsoever. 00:05:31.709 --> 00:05:35.029 Even the cage, it's never really used other than 00:05:35.029 --> 00:05:37.910 somebody at some point is going to climb and 00:05:37.910 --> 00:05:40.149 dive off of at some point. You have the spot 00:05:40.149 --> 00:05:42.189 over and over again where people get thrown into 00:05:42.189 --> 00:05:44.709 the sides of it, but it really is never used 00:05:44.709 --> 00:05:48.870 as a weapon, the cell itself. So I just... Maybe 00:05:48.870 --> 00:05:52.170 it's just me. Maybe I just have a problem visually 00:05:52.170 --> 00:05:54.269 with the way these matches work. And we'll get 00:05:54.269 --> 00:05:56.629 into some of this other stuff later. But it's 00:05:56.629 --> 00:06:00.009 super hard to have cameras covering this type 00:06:00.009 --> 00:06:03.509 of match too because it's twice as big as a normal 00:06:03.509 --> 00:06:06.790 match because you have two rings and your cell 00:06:06.790 --> 00:06:09.050 structure is twice as big. And when you're spreading 00:06:09.050 --> 00:06:12.279 out your wrestlers over the... the space of two 00:06:12.279 --> 00:06:14.660 rings most of your wrestlers aren't even going 00:06:14.660 --> 00:06:17.180 to be in the picture frame it leads to a lot 00:06:17.180 --> 00:06:20.759 of shots of just one -on -ones and people in 00:06:20.759 --> 00:06:22.560 the background that are literally laying there 00:06:22.560 --> 00:06:25.920 dying and it just doesn't make any sense this 00:06:25.920 --> 00:06:29.160 huge violent blow -off match really wasn't that 00:06:29.160 --> 00:06:32.519 violent And I felt like what they were doing 00:06:32.519 --> 00:06:35.439 was setting up the whole match to get to the 00:06:35.439 --> 00:06:38.639 big EOS guy dive off the top of the cage match 00:06:38.639 --> 00:06:42.579 or the top of the cage with the trash can. This 00:06:42.579 --> 00:06:45.620 is something now that is becoming like the Kofi 00:06:45.620 --> 00:06:49.379 Kingston Royal Rumble survival. Like we see this 00:06:49.379 --> 00:06:51.939 every year. How is Kofi going to survive getting 00:06:51.939 --> 00:06:54.480 tossed over the ropes? And what kind of acrobatic 00:06:54.480 --> 00:06:57.259 moveset is he going to do to save himself? And 00:06:57.259 --> 00:07:00.279 now this is becoming the EOS guy highlight of 00:07:00.279 --> 00:07:02.560 the War Games match. What is she going to do? 00:07:02.620 --> 00:07:05.420 How is she going to incorporate a... Trash can 00:07:05.420 --> 00:07:08.279 dive off the top of the cage. And while there 00:07:08.279 --> 00:07:11.319 were some okay one -on -one spots that led up 00:07:11.319 --> 00:07:13.519 to this point, I just felt like there wasn't 00:07:13.519 --> 00:07:17.800 a ton going on in the match. And you had a lot 00:07:17.800 --> 00:07:20.139 of good wrestlers. So in my opinion, just get 00:07:20.139 --> 00:07:22.980 rid of the freaking cage and just do a standard 00:07:22.980 --> 00:07:25.060 Survivor Series match. I think I would have liked 00:07:25.060 --> 00:07:27.959 this match so much better if it was five on five 00:07:27.959 --> 00:07:31.290 and you could have done. whatever you wanted 00:07:31.290 --> 00:07:33.029 on the outside, but just get rid of the cage 00:07:33.029 --> 00:07:35.170 because it really didn't add anything to the 00:07:35.170 --> 00:07:37.970 match. But I think, like I said, the whole match 00:07:37.970 --> 00:07:39.949 was kind of paving the way and leading for this 00:07:39.949 --> 00:07:42.930 Io Sky Swanton off the top of the structure. 00:07:43.310 --> 00:07:46.629 And she put a trash can over herself and did 00:07:46.629 --> 00:07:49.589 the Swanton Bomb. And she takes out everybody 00:07:49.589 --> 00:07:52.490 except Becky Lynch, who, to her credit, was able 00:07:52.490 --> 00:07:55.209 to kind of back off. I don't know. That's the 00:07:55.209 --> 00:07:56.670 problem with the match. There were these specific 00:07:56.670 --> 00:07:59.069 moments and then there was just a lot of nothing. 00:07:59.189 --> 00:08:01.790 So, and I kind of think that this was the same 00:08:01.790 --> 00:08:05.230 thing for both matches. Some high spots and then 00:08:05.230 --> 00:08:07.470 a lot of nothing. And like I said before, the 00:08:07.470 --> 00:08:09.310 camera can only really focus on one person at 00:08:09.310 --> 00:08:11.889 a time and it doesn't really bode well for filming 00:08:11.889 --> 00:08:16.920 the whole dual ring structure. Literally, you're 00:08:16.920 --> 00:08:19.100 looking and you're seeing people in the background 00:08:19.100 --> 00:08:21.019 who are just, as I said before, just kind of 00:08:21.019 --> 00:08:23.220 playing dead. Makes no sense. Anyway, we get 00:08:23.220 --> 00:08:25.319 to the culmination of EO hitting the big swanton. 00:08:25.660 --> 00:08:28.560 Becky Lynch kind of gets out of the way. EO takes 00:08:28.560 --> 00:08:31.100 everybody out. And then as Lynch is trying to 00:08:31.100 --> 00:08:33.659 escape and flee to the opposite side of the cage, 00:08:33.879 --> 00:08:36.659 the good guys, the baby faces, they all kind 00:08:36.659 --> 00:08:39.259 of grab her. Rhea Ripley hits her with the riptide. 00:08:39.320 --> 00:08:41.899 And that's right into the Black Widow that AJ 00:08:41.899 --> 00:08:46.090 Lee puts on Becky Lynch. Becky submits. There's 00:08:46.090 --> 00:08:48.830 your winners. So good guys win. I had picked, 00:08:48.970 --> 00:08:51.590 I think I picked that the good guys were going 00:08:51.590 --> 00:08:54.250 to win this. I had hoped that it was going to 00:08:54.250 --> 00:08:56.820 be the heel team, but whatever. What did I like 00:08:56.820 --> 00:08:58.740 about this? I think Lash Legend, she came out 00:08:58.740 --> 00:09:01.500 last for the heel side. I think she looked like 00:09:01.500 --> 00:09:04.179 a monster. She's still a little green. I think 00:09:04.179 --> 00:09:07.799 she still has some work to do. She needs some 00:09:07.799 --> 00:09:09.980 seasoning, and that's okay. You have to learn 00:09:09.980 --> 00:09:12.179 somewhere, so put her in the ring with these 00:09:12.179 --> 00:09:15.960 awesome, awesome women wrestlers, and it's going 00:09:15.960 --> 00:09:17.899 to elevate her game, but I think she's going 00:09:17.899 --> 00:09:20.789 to be a great heel. I think she... is absolute 00:09:20.789 --> 00:09:23.830 money down the road. She could be a dominant, 00:09:23.870 --> 00:09:26.710 dominant heel champion in the future. AJ Lee, 00:09:26.870 --> 00:09:29.730 was it me or did she barely do anything in this 00:09:29.730 --> 00:09:31.470 match? She came out and as soon as she gets in 00:09:31.470 --> 00:09:34.009 the ring, she has like a two -minute session 00:09:34.009 --> 00:09:36.320 where she's on fire. And then after that... The 00:09:36.320 --> 00:09:39.679 only spot was her trying to get the trash can 00:09:39.679 --> 00:09:41.940 up to Io, who was on top of the cage. And because 00:09:41.940 --> 00:09:44.519 she's so short, she couldn't jump and get it 00:09:44.519 --> 00:09:47.179 to her. So Rhea Ripley put her up on her shoulders 00:09:47.179 --> 00:09:51.419 to assist getting the trash can to Io. And then 00:09:51.419 --> 00:09:54.799 after the move, she hits Lynch with the Black 00:09:54.799 --> 00:09:57.220 Widow, and that's it. But I just felt like she 00:09:57.220 --> 00:09:59.240 didn't really do anything. The MVP of this match, 00:09:59.379 --> 00:10:01.440 Becky Lynch. It's not. In my opinion, it's not 00:10:01.440 --> 00:10:04.940 even close. The way she sold, the way she told 00:10:04.940 --> 00:10:07.940 a story in the midst of this match, her emotion, 00:10:08.080 --> 00:10:10.580 her facial expressions, she's at the top. She 00:10:10.580 --> 00:10:13.659 is at the top, not only of this match, but I 00:10:13.659 --> 00:10:16.539 think she is the top female in the company, if 00:10:16.539 --> 00:10:18.360 not all of wrestling right now for the work she's 00:10:18.360 --> 00:10:20.940 doing. I think she's freaking unbelievable. I'm 00:10:20.940 --> 00:10:23.360 loving everything she's doing. I can't wait to 00:10:23.360 --> 00:10:26.990 see. Where this goes with AJ Lee, I think the 00:10:26.990 --> 00:10:29.110 feud is great. If you follow her social media 00:10:29.110 --> 00:10:30.929 stuff, the stuff she's doing on social media, 00:10:31.029 --> 00:10:32.990 going against the refs and going against the 00:10:32.990 --> 00:10:35.610 general managers and just blasting everyone on 00:10:35.610 --> 00:10:38.669 socials, it's freaking amazing. And it's just 00:10:38.669 --> 00:10:40.970 taking her character to a totally different level. 00:10:41.129 --> 00:10:43.049 She's doing great work. I give her mad props. 00:10:43.230 --> 00:10:45.370 This whole match, the women's match, 41 minutes. 00:10:45.690 --> 00:10:48.570 And just like I said, it's fine. It was fine. 00:10:49.039 --> 00:10:51.159 I didn't hate it, but I didn't like fall in love 00:10:51.159 --> 00:10:52.860 with it either. There's like I said, some good 00:10:52.860 --> 00:10:54.860 spots, some not so great spots. And it was just 00:10:54.860 --> 00:10:57.700 whatever. I was kind of underwhelmed. And then 00:10:57.700 --> 00:11:00.139 we get to the second match of the night. This 00:11:00.139 --> 00:11:02.259 was my favorite match of the night by far. This 00:11:02.259 --> 00:11:05.080 is the last pay -per -view for John Cena. This 00:11:05.080 --> 00:11:07.480 is his second to last match in his retirement 00:11:07.480 --> 00:11:10.440 tour. Cena versus Dirty Dom Mysterio for the 00:11:10.440 --> 00:11:13.440 Intercontinental belt. And this is classic old 00:11:13.440 --> 00:11:17.379 school shenanigans at its best. Now, I will never 00:11:17.379 --> 00:11:20.000 say that this was a five -star classic wrestling 00:11:20.000 --> 00:11:23.220 match. You're not going to see hold after hold 00:11:23.220 --> 00:11:25.100 and move set after move set and all this kind 00:11:25.100 --> 00:11:27.799 of crap. It was just a banger of an entertaining, 00:11:28.120 --> 00:11:32.440 awesome, fun, super quick, a lot going on, don't 00:11:32.440 --> 00:11:34.320 blink, you might miss something kind of match. 00:11:34.460 --> 00:11:38.639 I love this match. You had a fake injury from 00:11:38.639 --> 00:11:42.000 Domisterio. That was a huge key. You had a ref 00:11:42.000 --> 00:11:44.240 bump. You had multiple run -ins with the Judgment 00:11:44.240 --> 00:11:48.659 Day. Who was it? Finn Balor and JD McDonough 00:11:48.659 --> 00:11:52.340 make the run in and Cena manages to do the dual 00:11:52.340 --> 00:11:55.899 attitude adjustment on both of them. It was awesome. 00:11:56.240 --> 00:11:58.379 And then finally, the big payoff with the return 00:11:58.379 --> 00:12:02.639 of the Liv Morgan storyline. She's been out for 00:12:02.639 --> 00:12:04.379 quite some time. She had to get surgery. I believe 00:12:04.379 --> 00:12:07.620 it was her shoulder, but she is back. And that 00:12:07.620 --> 00:12:10.220 was great. It was great. The whole throwback 00:12:10.220 --> 00:12:15.120 to the John Cena turn, heel turn back in. Elimination 00:12:15.120 --> 00:12:17.639 Chamber, when she jumps in his arms and she's 00:12:17.639 --> 00:12:20.200 holding on to him and she had the best facial 00:12:20.200 --> 00:12:23.279 expressions ever. She does the absolute from 00:12:23.279 --> 00:12:26.379 good to evil facial expression change, just like 00:12:26.379 --> 00:12:28.659 Cena did back in Elimination Chamber. It was 00:12:28.659 --> 00:12:32.480 classic. She hops off, kicks him in the nether 00:12:32.480 --> 00:12:36.720 regions. Then Dom throws her the belt. She hits 00:12:36.720 --> 00:12:39.779 him with the belt. Frog splash. One, two, three. 00:12:40.269 --> 00:12:43.129 Dirty Dom, new IC champion in his hometown of 00:12:43.129 --> 00:12:45.389 San Diego. It was just perfect. A lot going on. 00:12:45.509 --> 00:12:47.230 People are going to be like, yeah, it was overbooked. 00:12:47.230 --> 00:12:50.429 No, no, no, no, no. This was so great. So much 00:12:50.429 --> 00:12:53.090 fun. It brought back Liv. It got her back in 00:12:53.090 --> 00:12:56.029 the mix. Instantly back to the top of the card 00:12:56.029 --> 00:12:58.649 there. And it took the belt off Cena, which is 00:12:58.649 --> 00:13:00.990 what we needed going into his last match on December 00:13:00.990 --> 00:13:03.470 13th at Saturday night's main event, which we'll 00:13:03.470 --> 00:13:06.279 get to in a second. I loved this match. This 00:13:06.279 --> 00:13:08.600 match was great. Third match of the night. It's 00:13:08.600 --> 00:13:11.960 hard to follow Cena. So yeah, these two ladies, 00:13:12.100 --> 00:13:14.159 I'm sorry. They did their best, but you really 00:13:14.159 --> 00:13:16.860 had no chance. Stephanie Vakir, the champion 00:13:16.860 --> 00:13:19.440 versus Nikki Bella, who I told you before, she 00:13:19.440 --> 00:13:21.840 had zero chance of winning this match. And that's 00:13:21.840 --> 00:13:24.059 exactly what happened. She did not win. This 00:13:24.059 --> 00:13:26.139 match was fine. It was much better than some 00:13:26.139 --> 00:13:28.759 of her other previous matches. I'm talking about 00:13:28.759 --> 00:13:31.350 Nikki Bella. She's been a little rough. A little 00:13:31.350 --> 00:13:34.529 rusty since coming back, which is to be understood. 00:13:34.929 --> 00:13:37.250 I understand why this match is here. I understand 00:13:37.250 --> 00:13:39.789 what she was brought back for. There was zero 00:13:39.789 --> 00:13:42.570 chance she was going to beat Vakir. And, yeah, 00:13:42.710 --> 00:13:45.370 so Stephanie wins. Her finisher, whatever they 00:13:45.370 --> 00:13:48.690 call that, corkscrew moonsault craziness off 00:13:48.690 --> 00:13:52.370 the top rope onto the fallen victim of Nikki 00:13:52.370 --> 00:13:54.850 Bella. It's just that move, when it hits perfectly, 00:13:55.049 --> 00:13:58.690 it is insane to see. Props to her. That finisher 00:13:58.690 --> 00:14:01.570 is awesome. But, yeah, I mean, whatever. That 00:14:01.570 --> 00:14:03.830 match was just fine. And then we finish. Like 00:14:03.830 --> 00:14:07.350 I said, this is the second War Games match. This 00:14:07.350 --> 00:14:11.009 is the men's match. And this match finishes, 00:14:11.070 --> 00:14:14.149 and everyone, including myself, because I checked 00:14:14.149 --> 00:14:16.970 on reactions and stuff online afterwards, everyone 00:14:16.970 --> 00:14:19.690 was like, what the hell was that? And it was 00:14:19.690 --> 00:14:22.629 just, I don't know. I don't know. The other problem 00:14:22.629 --> 00:14:26.090 with the War Games match is... It takes so long 00:14:26.090 --> 00:14:29.029 for the actual match to start. And then I feel 00:14:29.029 --> 00:14:31.570 like by the time everyone's in the cage after 00:14:31.570 --> 00:14:33.909 coming down and five minutes and three minutes 00:14:33.909 --> 00:14:35.950 and three minutes and alternating and blah, blah, 00:14:35.990 --> 00:14:37.990 blah, blah, blah. By the time the match actually 00:14:37.990 --> 00:14:40.990 starts and they ring the bell, then after that, 00:14:41.090 --> 00:14:43.990 it's like five minutes and the match is over. 00:14:44.129 --> 00:14:47.190 So it just doesn't make too much sense to me. 00:14:47.269 --> 00:14:50.450 But some high spots, Lesnar comes in, goes crazy, 00:14:50.529 --> 00:14:54.029 just. crushes everyone suplex city after suplex 00:14:54.029 --> 00:14:57.450 city f5 after f5 that was cool stuff reigns finally 00:14:57.450 --> 00:14:59.889 comes out he's the last one to come out of the 00:14:59.889 --> 00:15:02.610 back which mind you they made the change this 00:15:02.610 --> 00:15:05.330 year and rumor has it is because of brock lesnar 00:15:05.330 --> 00:15:08.049 but historically in these war match uh games 00:15:08.049 --> 00:15:10.889 as i talked talked about in last week's uh preview 00:15:10.889 --> 00:15:14.409 they would put these shark cages outside the 00:15:14.409 --> 00:15:16.909 ring and they would put the entire team in the 00:15:16.909 --> 00:15:20.169 in the shark cage and then slowly one at a time 00:15:20.169 --> 00:15:23.889 as the clock uh dictated one person would get 00:15:23.889 --> 00:15:26.629 released from the cage and would run down to 00:15:26.629 --> 00:15:29.350 the the war game structure well this year they 00:15:29.350 --> 00:15:31.529 completely got rid of these and so now everyone 00:15:31.529 --> 00:15:34.789 is coming in from backstage and you have no idea 00:15:34.789 --> 00:15:38.049 of the order now you wouldn't know anyway even 00:15:38.049 --> 00:15:40.169 if they were in the shark cage but It was just 00:15:40.169 --> 00:15:43.549 weird not having anyone ringside. And so the 00:15:43.549 --> 00:15:45.210 rumor was, well, there's no way Brock Lesnar 00:15:45.210 --> 00:15:47.470 is going to be locked in this cage with his team. 00:15:48.009 --> 00:15:50.269 And you can insert whatever joke you want there. 00:15:50.370 --> 00:15:53.110 But that was what the rumor was, whether that 00:15:53.110 --> 00:15:55.610 was true or not. I just, I don't know. I kind 00:15:55.610 --> 00:15:57.750 of like the shark cage stuff because it gave 00:15:57.750 --> 00:16:00.070 this tension in the team of who's going to be 00:16:00.070 --> 00:16:03.470 released next, whose ego is going to get. uh 00:16:03.470 --> 00:16:05.730 hurt and all that stuff but anyway reigns finally 00:16:05.730 --> 00:16:08.250 comes out he's last like i said he goes right 00:16:08.250 --> 00:16:10.490 after lesnar he hits him with three superman 00:16:10.490 --> 00:16:13.049 punches and then he goes for a fourth and lesnar 00:16:13.049 --> 00:16:15.230 puts him through in the announce table and that's 00:16:15.230 --> 00:16:18.289 it and i'm like what What happened to Reigns? 00:16:18.309 --> 00:16:20.289 He's now dead on the outside. He gets picked 00:16:20.289 --> 00:16:23.570 up and thrown into the cage. And the match officially 00:16:23.570 --> 00:16:25.850 starts. And then it's just people laying around 00:16:25.850 --> 00:16:29.049 doing nothing. And I was like, this is what I 00:16:29.049 --> 00:16:30.909 talked about in the first one. It's one -on -one 00:16:30.909 --> 00:16:33.649 with eight other people literally sitting there 00:16:33.649 --> 00:16:36.970 gasping for air or acting like they're dead. 00:16:37.230 --> 00:16:40.090 And I don't like it. I just don't like it. There's 00:16:40.090 --> 00:16:42.230 too much laying around doing nothing. Finally, 00:16:42.250 --> 00:16:44.870 at some point, this hooded masked figure comes. 00:16:45.399 --> 00:16:48.059 jumping in through and over and or not through 00:16:48.059 --> 00:16:50.779 but up and over the cage you can't see his face 00:16:50.779 --> 00:16:53.480 you he's completely masked he's completely wearing 00:16:53.480 --> 00:16:56.679 a hoodie and so nothing is distinguishable about 00:16:56.679 --> 00:16:58.899 him at all but he hits a super kick on CM Punk 00:16:58.899 --> 00:17:01.700 then he hits him with the curb stomp so everyone's 00:17:01.700 --> 00:17:04.279 assuming it's Seth Rollins but there's no way 00:17:04.279 --> 00:17:07.119 unless Seth Rollins just destroyed Thanksgiving 00:17:07.119 --> 00:17:11.700 meal and hasn't worked out for a few weeks and 00:17:11.700 --> 00:17:15.440 has already gone after the The Christmas cookies 00:17:15.440 --> 00:17:17.539 a little early. There's no way that was Seth 00:17:17.539 --> 00:17:20.400 Rollins. They try to tell you that because of 00:17:20.400 --> 00:17:23.039 the moveset that it's Seth Rollins. That's not 00:17:23.039 --> 00:17:25.720 the case at all. So he then climbs out the other 00:17:25.720 --> 00:17:27.940 side of the cage and disappears. Braun hits the 00:17:27.940 --> 00:17:30.119 spear on CM Punk, and that's your match. And 00:17:30.119 --> 00:17:32.460 I'm like, what? That's the end of the match? 00:17:32.700 --> 00:17:36.359 It's over immediately, and you're thinking, that's 00:17:36.359 --> 00:17:40.220 it? That's it? So this match was a minute or 00:17:40.220 --> 00:17:42.079 two shorter than the women's match. I think this 00:17:42.079 --> 00:17:44.319 match came in right around 40 minutes. And again, 00:17:44.420 --> 00:17:47.339 like I said, a few cool spots, but... Nothing 00:17:47.339 --> 00:17:49.779 that I'm like, holy cow, I have to rewatch that 00:17:49.779 --> 00:17:52.140 match again. It was just kind of this whole idea 00:17:52.140 --> 00:17:54.740 that this war game structure is this violent 00:17:54.740 --> 00:17:58.519 end to these blood feuds. It's just not what 00:17:58.519 --> 00:18:01.079 they're not using it as it's intended. And I 00:18:01.079 --> 00:18:02.640 just think they need to kind of put it to the 00:18:02.640 --> 00:18:04.519 side. A couple of things that stood out in that 00:18:04.519 --> 00:18:07.559 match, though. There's a nasty spot where Cody 00:18:07.559 --> 00:18:10.490 Rhodes picks up Braun Breaker. on his shoulders, 00:18:10.569 --> 00:18:13.029 and then CM Punk dives off with a clothesline. 00:18:13.150 --> 00:18:15.069 I think it's called the electric chair. Well, 00:18:15.130 --> 00:18:17.569 Braun flips backwards and literally lands on 00:18:17.569 --> 00:18:21.609 the back of his head, and it was a crazy, crazy, 00:18:21.710 --> 00:18:26.230 scary, scary spot. Thank God he is fine, but 00:18:26.230 --> 00:18:29.549 that was nasty. And then the other issue I had, 00:18:29.670 --> 00:18:33.569 this Jey Uso yeeting thing. Look, I've talked 00:18:33.569 --> 00:18:36.450 about this before, but I think we are eight contestants 00:18:36.450 --> 00:18:39.920 into this match, and the good guys, sort of get 00:18:39.920 --> 00:18:42.599 the upper hand at some point. This is right before 00:18:42.599 --> 00:18:45.299 Lesnar and Reigns come into the match. Jimmy, 00:18:45.400 --> 00:18:48.930 or I'm sorry, not Jimmy, Jay. does the hand gesture 00:18:48.930 --> 00:18:51.390 thing where he starts, you know, like, oh, run 00:18:51.390 --> 00:18:53.309 it again. And he starts looking at the camera 00:18:53.309 --> 00:18:56.569 and he starts doing this entrance thing nonsense 00:18:56.569 --> 00:18:59.150 that he does when he comes into the matches. 00:18:59.150 --> 00:19:01.609 And he's like, oh, let's start my music up again. 00:19:01.750 --> 00:19:04.710 And he starts the whole yeet process. And in 00:19:04.710 --> 00:19:08.289 the middle of a War Games match, he starts yeeting. 00:19:08.430 --> 00:19:12.539 And I'm like. What the actual hell are you doing? 00:19:12.660 --> 00:19:15.859 It totally took me out of the match. You want 00:19:15.859 --> 00:19:19.119 to suspend disbelief when you're watching wrestling, 00:19:19.240 --> 00:19:23.119 right? So you're trying to at least imagine that 00:19:23.119 --> 00:19:27.859 these teams are in these such significant feuds 00:19:27.859 --> 00:19:30.220 that they want to literally kill each other in 00:19:30.220 --> 00:19:32.440 these rings. And then, nope, we're going to stop 00:19:32.440 --> 00:19:36.900 and dance before the... big badass that is Brock 00:19:36.900 --> 00:19:39.500 Lesnar comes down. So he's yeeting and then all 00:19:39.500 --> 00:19:42.839 of a sudden Lesnar's music comes in and he runs 00:19:42.839 --> 00:19:45.500 to the ring and just destroys everybody. And 00:19:45.500 --> 00:19:47.740 I'm like, good, because that's what you get for 00:19:47.740 --> 00:19:49.559 yeeting for the last five minutes. It was just 00:19:49.559 --> 00:19:52.180 stupid. It made no sense. And that's the stuff 00:19:52.180 --> 00:19:54.460 that just takes you out of the whole War Games 00:19:54.460 --> 00:19:56.460 experience. I don't know. I want to go back to 00:19:56.460 --> 00:19:58.559 old school Survivor Series. I think you could 00:19:58.559 --> 00:20:00.700 have had the same two men's and women's matches 00:20:00.700 --> 00:20:03.740 without the cage. I think it would have been 00:20:03.740 --> 00:20:07.380 just as good. So I love the Cena match and the 00:20:07.380 --> 00:20:11.119 War Games matches were okay. So out of four turnbuckles, 00:20:11.240 --> 00:20:13.640 I will give Survivor Series War Games from San 00:20:13.640 --> 00:20:17.940 Diego a 2 .5 out of four turnbuckles. What else 00:20:17.940 --> 00:20:19.960 do I want to talk about? Monday Night Raw Fallout. 00:20:20.259 --> 00:20:23.059 This was last night. You were expecting to get 00:20:23.059 --> 00:20:25.660 information about the hooded masked. man feature 00:20:25.660 --> 00:20:28.539 and you got absolutely nothing. What you did 00:20:28.539 --> 00:20:32.640 get is a setup for a month from now, the one 00:20:32.640 --> 00:20:35.799 year anniversary of Raw on Netflix. They announced 00:20:35.799 --> 00:20:38.819 Braun Breaker versus CM Punk. Hey, guess what? 00:20:38.940 --> 00:20:40.980 This is exactly what they set up last night. 00:20:41.339 --> 00:20:43.039 Or I'm sorry, not last night, but at Survivor 00:20:43.039 --> 00:20:45.920 Series with Braun pinning CM Punk. And now he 00:20:45.920 --> 00:20:48.420 has a title shot that will be on Monday Night 00:20:48.420 --> 00:20:51.380 Raw. And then the semifinals of the last time 00:20:51.380 --> 00:20:53.900 is now John Cena tournament to decide who will 00:20:53.900 --> 00:20:56.160 face him at Saturday night's main event. You 00:20:56.160 --> 00:21:00.039 had LA Knight beat Jey Uso. Thank goodness. Can 00:21:00.039 --> 00:21:02.500 you imagine if Jey Uso was in the finals for 00:21:02.500 --> 00:21:05.839 this tournament? It would be... Not good, not 00:21:05.839 --> 00:21:07.779 good. And then you're starting to see a change 00:21:07.779 --> 00:21:09.740 in his mental state, a change in his character. 00:21:09.940 --> 00:21:13.640 Jay loses, thank goodness, and starts wrecking 00:21:13.640 --> 00:21:15.960 shop around the ring. He knocks over the prime 00:21:15.960 --> 00:21:18.980 drink stand, which no one cares about, by the 00:21:18.980 --> 00:21:22.180 way. And then backstage, he's acting all sad 00:21:22.180 --> 00:21:25.279 and downtrodden. whatever. And he tries to be 00:21:25.279 --> 00:21:28.400 interviewed and he kind of just acts like an 00:21:28.400 --> 00:21:30.740 a -hole. I said this before. I want to see Jey 00:21:30.740 --> 00:21:32.779 Uso completely change the character. He needs 00:21:32.779 --> 00:21:34.519 to get away from the yeeting. He needs to go 00:21:34.519 --> 00:21:37.720 back to doing something, anything, be a bad guy. 00:21:37.960 --> 00:21:41.660 This character, I don't know. The whole singles 00:21:41.660 --> 00:21:44.619 run with him as champ, I just thought was bad. 00:21:44.779 --> 00:21:46.599 We shall see where this goes. But the other side 00:21:46.599 --> 00:21:49.500 of the semifinals, Gunther versus Solo Sakoa. 00:21:50.119 --> 00:21:55.359 Holy cow. This match was fire. Solo Sokoa put 00:21:55.359 --> 00:21:57.519 on probably his best match I've ever seen. And 00:21:57.519 --> 00:21:59.740 Gunther, I know there's Gunther haters out there. 00:21:59.799 --> 00:22:02.339 You all are wrong. I'm telling you right now. 00:22:02.519 --> 00:22:05.339 Gunther can wrestle with anyone as seen just 00:22:05.339 --> 00:22:07.559 in the tournament alone since he came back. He 00:22:07.559 --> 00:22:10.900 has wrestled Javon Evans. Match was great. Carmelo 00:22:10.900 --> 00:22:13.559 Hayes, that match was great. And then this match 00:22:13.559 --> 00:22:16.720 against Solo Sokoa was absolute fire. I just 00:22:16.720 --> 00:22:20.839 think Gunther is fantastic. I love his character. 00:22:21.039 --> 00:22:24.099 I love his ability to work All kinds of matches. 00:22:24.220 --> 00:22:26.740 He can work with anyone, big, small. It doesn't 00:22:26.740 --> 00:22:29.839 matter. He has power. He has technique. He can 00:22:29.839 --> 00:22:32.180 wrestle any style of match. You can put him in 00:22:32.180 --> 00:22:34.400 the ring with anyone, and he's going to put a 00:22:34.400 --> 00:22:37.670 great product out there. He has to be at the 00:22:37.670 --> 00:22:41.069 top of the WWE food chain as far as importance 00:22:41.069 --> 00:22:43.230 to this company. I know people don't like him, 00:22:43.289 --> 00:22:45.829 and I just don't get it. They think he's out 00:22:45.829 --> 00:22:47.910 of shape. They think he doesn't look good. But 00:22:47.910 --> 00:22:50.930 this is old school classic villain wrestling 00:22:50.930 --> 00:22:53.769 101. And the fact that he can actually wrestle, 00:22:53.910 --> 00:22:55.269 because if you look at some of the old school 00:22:55.269 --> 00:22:58.450 guys back in the day, like Iron Sheik and Nikolai 00:22:58.450 --> 00:23:01.779 Volkov and some of the old school heels. They 00:23:01.779 --> 00:23:03.579 were just terrible wrestlers. Gunther can actually 00:23:03.579 --> 00:23:06.759 wrestle, and he can go with anyone. So super 00:23:06.759 --> 00:23:10.279 excited for LA Knight, yeah, versus Gunther in 00:23:10.279 --> 00:23:12.960 the finals to decide who is going to go on to 00:23:12.960 --> 00:23:15.019 Saturday night's main event and face John Cena. 00:23:15.220 --> 00:23:18.599 I think it's going to be Gunther, but we shall 00:23:18.599 --> 00:23:21.859 see. I don't, frankly, either one, I think it's 00:23:21.859 --> 00:23:24.339 going to be great. I think either one. is going 00:23:24.339 --> 00:23:26.380 to go on and beat Cena, but we can talk about 00:23:26.380 --> 00:23:29.579 that next week. I think those two matches were 00:23:29.579 --> 00:23:32.099 really good, but the Solo and Gunther match, 00:23:32.299 --> 00:23:35.920 holy cow. That match was awesome. It had a lot 00:23:35.920 --> 00:23:38.500 of reversals. It had a lot of hard -hitting action. 00:23:38.859 --> 00:23:41.420 It was just the crowd was... popped for that 00:23:41.420 --> 00:23:44.619 match it just was fire fire hats off to both 00:23:44.619 --> 00:23:47.259 of them great work and solo way to step it up 00:23:47.259 --> 00:23:50.299 that match like elevated you another step at 00:23:50.299 --> 00:23:52.220 least because that's the best match i've ever 00:23:52.220 --> 00:23:54.619 seen you wrestle great job and then the main 00:23:54.619 --> 00:23:57.019 event of raw you had charlotte and alexa versus 00:23:57.019 --> 00:24:00.740 eo and rhea ripley these two teams were duking 00:24:00.740 --> 00:24:03.619 it out to try to become the number one contender 00:24:03.619 --> 00:24:06.500 for the kabuki warriors tag team belts now this 00:24:06.500 --> 00:24:09.480 was a good match this was the finale of raw It 00:24:09.480 --> 00:24:13.240 ended in a complete schmazzola. Of course, you 00:24:13.240 --> 00:24:15.160 had the Kabuki Warriors run out. They took it 00:24:15.160 --> 00:24:17.799 to all four of the women in the ring. And then 00:24:17.799 --> 00:24:20.440 Bayley and Lyra Valkyria come down to make the 00:24:20.440 --> 00:24:23.000 save. There was some backstage interaction between 00:24:23.000 --> 00:24:25.440 them and Kabuki earlier in the night. And then, 00:24:25.460 --> 00:24:29.039 of course. To finish off this Shmaz Fest, you 00:24:29.039 --> 00:24:31.680 had the Judgment Day with Raquel and Roxanne 00:24:31.680 --> 00:24:34.440 and Liv Morgan. They all came down and kind of 00:24:34.440 --> 00:24:37.200 took everyone out. It was pretty sick. Raquel 00:24:37.200 --> 00:24:40.099 Rodriguez, she is elevating her game. She is 00:24:40.099 --> 00:24:42.640 showing when she sticks to the power stuff, it 00:24:42.640 --> 00:24:44.920 looks great. It looks fire. And then the Pop 00:24:44.920 --> 00:24:47.779 Rocks move that Roxanne Perez does, I love that 00:24:47.779 --> 00:24:50.759 move. That move is sick. It looks great. So the 00:24:50.759 --> 00:24:53.579 end of your show is the three ladies of the Judgment 00:24:53.579 --> 00:24:57.819 Day standing tall. Return of Liv is really setting 00:24:57.819 --> 00:25:00.299 the stage for what's to come. What else happened 00:25:00.299 --> 00:25:02.339 on Raw? One more thing I want to talk about. 00:25:02.480 --> 00:25:05.460 The New Day had a tag team match for the belts 00:25:05.460 --> 00:25:09.240 against Dragon Lee and AJ Styles. If you haven't 00:25:09.240 --> 00:25:11.380 seen this finisher, this finisher is one of the 00:25:11.380 --> 00:25:13.099 craziest things I've ever seen to this match. 00:25:13.460 --> 00:25:16.579 At some point, Kofi Kingston is kind of, I'll 00:25:16.579 --> 00:25:19.240 try to explain this. He is folded over the top 00:25:19.240 --> 00:25:22.960 rope, kind of face down. with his torso on the 00:25:22.960 --> 00:25:26.039 top ring rope dragon lee jumps from the turnbuckle 00:25:26.039 --> 00:25:30.279 onto his back and it kind of springboards Kofi 00:25:30.279 --> 00:25:33.700 in the air right into the waiting arms of AJ 00:25:33.700 --> 00:25:36.500 Styles, who catches him in the perfect position 00:25:36.500 --> 00:25:40.039 to transition right into the Styles Clash, hits 00:25:40.039 --> 00:25:42.900 the Styles Clash finisher, and the match is over. 00:25:43.019 --> 00:25:45.940 My mind was blown that they were able to accomplish 00:25:45.940 --> 00:25:49.259 this move. It was insane. This move is crazy. 00:25:49.400 --> 00:25:51.859 I've never seen a move like this before, and 00:25:51.859 --> 00:25:53.460 I watch a ton of wrestling. The match was fine. 00:25:53.710 --> 00:25:56.589 But the ending alone is worth the price of admission. 00:25:56.730 --> 00:25:59.750 That was insane. I can't say enough good stuff 00:25:59.750 --> 00:26:01.230 about it. If you haven't seen it, go check it 00:26:01.230 --> 00:26:03.250 out. What else do I want to talk about in the 00:26:03.250 --> 00:26:06.049 wrestling world? Y 'all, how are we feeling about 00:26:06.049 --> 00:26:09.250 this transition to the new ESPN platform for 00:26:09.250 --> 00:26:12.190 the PLEs? Oh, it's rough. I got to tell you, 00:26:12.230 --> 00:26:14.450 I am not too happy with the way they have this 00:26:14.450 --> 00:26:18.609 app set up. I miss Peacock. And I was shocked 00:26:18.609 --> 00:26:21.710 to find myself saying that. I was a little late. 00:26:22.089 --> 00:26:24.529 to watch Survivor Series. I couldn't watch it 00:26:24.529 --> 00:26:27.910 Saturday night or I started it real late, real 00:26:27.910 --> 00:26:30.450 late. As we were out, I was down visiting my 00:26:30.450 --> 00:26:32.890 son in Pensacola. We had gone to a hockey game. 00:26:32.990 --> 00:26:35.869 So by the time I went to fire up this show, it 00:26:35.869 --> 00:26:38.549 was probably 11 and I just wanted to start it 00:26:38.549 --> 00:26:40.890 and check out the first match. So I fire up the 00:26:40.890 --> 00:26:45.109 ESPN app and what do I see? Immediately, I'm 00:26:45.109 --> 00:26:48.190 seeing results from the show right on the app. 00:26:48.329 --> 00:26:51.400 Now, historically, what I do, when I have these 00:26:51.400 --> 00:26:54.500 sport apps is there's usually an ability to turn 00:26:54.500 --> 00:26:58.539 off the results for the contest. So whether it's 00:26:58.539 --> 00:27:00.640 a football game, baseball, basketball, whatever, 00:27:00.720 --> 00:27:02.960 what have you, you can go in, you can click a 00:27:02.960 --> 00:27:05.559 button and it will hide the results. So you can 00:27:05.559 --> 00:27:07.940 go in and watch the games later. Well, despite 00:27:07.940 --> 00:27:11.319 doing this on the ESPN app. They think, oh, it's 00:27:11.319 --> 00:27:14.039 not important to hide wrestling results. I literally 00:27:14.039 --> 00:27:16.359 load up the app and the first thing I see is 00:27:16.359 --> 00:27:18.980 Liv Morgan in the arms of Don Mysterio on the 00:27:18.980 --> 00:27:22.180 front page of the ESPN app. I can't find where 00:27:22.180 --> 00:27:24.980 to start the pay -per -view and it instantly 00:27:24.980 --> 00:27:28.880 spoils the John Cena match for me. And I'm like, 00:27:28.960 --> 00:27:32.990 this pisses me off. I have to pay you. $30 a 00:27:32.990 --> 00:27:35.690 month. And just because I can't sit down at seven 00:27:35.690 --> 00:27:37.549 to watch it doesn't mean I don't want to watch 00:27:37.549 --> 00:27:39.869 it. And you've already spoiled one of the main 00:27:39.869 --> 00:27:44.970 things in the entire show for me. I was not happy. 00:27:45.069 --> 00:27:49.089 It's not intuitive. You can't easily get to the 00:27:49.089 --> 00:27:51.470 start. If you're just using the app, you can't 00:27:51.470 --> 00:27:54.490 easily get to the start of the show. You have 00:27:54.490 --> 00:27:56.750 to thumb through all this other crap. And it's 00:27:56.750 --> 00:27:58.930 maddening to me. When I fired up the Peacock 00:27:58.930 --> 00:28:01.859 app, it was right. front and center. It was like, 00:28:01.960 --> 00:28:04.579 oh, this is WrestleMania. Do you want to watch? 00:28:04.759 --> 00:28:06.640 You hit yes. And then it goes, do you want to 00:28:06.640 --> 00:28:08.839 watch live or start from the beginning? And you 00:28:08.839 --> 00:28:11.220 hit start from the beginning. And it's awesome. 00:28:11.539 --> 00:28:13.759 This is trash. And then when you finally get 00:28:13.759 --> 00:28:17.380 to play it, not only is there ads, which whatever, 00:28:17.539 --> 00:28:20.180 everything has ads anymore, but the quality of 00:28:20.180 --> 00:28:23.099 the video is terrible. And you have to wait and 00:28:23.099 --> 00:28:26.039 watch five, four to five minutes of this grainy. 00:28:26.940 --> 00:28:30.599 terrible quality stream before it actually finally 00:28:30.599 --> 00:28:33.559 kicks into high def. And I'm like, this is garbage. 00:28:33.799 --> 00:28:36.599 So ESPN, you better pick your game up. I'm already 00:28:36.599 --> 00:28:38.880 not happy. And we're two pay -per -views into 00:28:38.880 --> 00:28:43.039 this nonsense. That was extremely frustrating 00:28:43.039 --> 00:28:46.700 to be super excited to watch the PLE. And the 00:28:46.700 --> 00:28:48.579 first thing I see is one of the biggest giveaways 00:28:48.579 --> 00:28:51.180 of the whole show. So thanks a lot. You spoiled 00:28:51.180 --> 00:28:54.160 the live return. You spoiled the John Cena match. 00:28:54.559 --> 00:28:57.579 I was not happy with you whatsoever. But I think 00:28:57.579 --> 00:29:00.000 that's going to wrap up the wrestling portion 00:29:00.000 --> 00:29:02.380 of the program. It is time to turn our attention 00:29:02.380 --> 00:29:05.339 to the Buffalo Bills. Bills Mafia. How the heck 00:29:05.339 --> 00:29:10.059 are we feeling? Coming off a 26 -7 beatdown. 00:29:10.160 --> 00:29:12.160 Can I use the word beatdown of the Pittsburgh 00:29:12.160 --> 00:29:15.619 Steelers in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Akershire 00:29:15.619 --> 00:29:17.740 Stadium? Yeah, I'm going to use beatdown because 00:29:17.740 --> 00:29:20.740 after the first half, the Steelers had no chance. 00:29:20.859 --> 00:29:23.960 No chance at all. Now, I will be completely open 00:29:23.960 --> 00:29:25.819 and honest with you. I was watching the first 00:29:25.819 --> 00:29:28.160 half of this game on an airplane. So you want 00:29:28.160 --> 00:29:32.559 to talk about shoddy Wi -Fi. Yeah, it's awesome. 00:29:32.680 --> 00:29:34.599 If you ever tried to watch a sporting event on 00:29:34.599 --> 00:29:37.420 an airplane, you get probably... Three plays 00:29:37.420 --> 00:29:40.279 in a row and then it freezes or pauses and then 00:29:40.279 --> 00:29:42.720 it jumps another two or three plays and it's 00:29:42.720 --> 00:29:45.299 just terrible So I tried to watch the first half 00:29:45.299 --> 00:29:48.279 on the airplane and it was not good Second half 00:29:48.279 --> 00:29:50.680 by the time I made it to the car and we were 00:29:50.680 --> 00:29:52.660 driving back home We managed to get the game 00:29:52.660 --> 00:29:55.180 on the radio and I listened to Probably the end 00:29:55.180 --> 00:29:57.220 of the third quarter and most of the fourth quarter 00:29:57.220 --> 00:29:59.920 driving home Anyway, I had to come back and re 00:29:59.920 --> 00:30:02.799 -watch the whole game later on But yeah, i'm 00:30:02.799 --> 00:30:04.859 going with beat down and I know there's a lot 00:30:04.859 --> 00:30:07.279 of bills fans out there who are complaining and 00:30:07.279 --> 00:30:09.440 pissing and moaning about the way we won but 00:30:09.440 --> 00:30:11.700 at this point in the year i don't care how we 00:30:11.700 --> 00:30:14.339 win i talked about it in my game preview i said 00:30:14.339 --> 00:30:16.180 this was going to be a field goal game matt prater 00:30:16.180 --> 00:30:18.319 we're going to get to you in a second but you 00:30:18.319 --> 00:30:20.019 missed a kick actually we're going to get to 00:30:20.019 --> 00:30:22.000 you right now you missed a kick it's becoming 00:30:22.000 --> 00:30:24.880 inconsistent i i'm not liking where this is going 00:30:24.880 --> 00:30:27.559 i need you to be a little more accurate heading 00:30:27.559 --> 00:30:29.599 into the playoff stretch because we just found 00:30:29.599 --> 00:30:32.480 out that tyler bass had season ending surgery 00:30:32.480 --> 00:30:34.440 and is not going to be a factor for the rest 00:30:34.440 --> 00:30:36.920 of the season so prater I thought you were going 00:30:36.920 --> 00:30:39.339 to be the MVP of the game. You missed a kick. 00:30:39.440 --> 00:30:42.299 I wasn't too happy about it. You got to get your 00:30:42.299 --> 00:30:44.900 stuff together. But anyway. What do we want to 00:30:44.900 --> 00:30:46.720 talk about with this game? This game was kind 00:30:46.720 --> 00:30:48.819 of ugly. The first half, especially the first 00:30:48.819 --> 00:30:51.640 half, was really ugly. It's three to seven was 00:30:51.640 --> 00:30:53.220 the halftime score. We were moving the ball, 00:30:53.299 --> 00:30:56.440 moving the ball like crazy, but we kept shooting 00:30:56.440 --> 00:30:58.619 ourselves in the foot with the turnovers. And 00:30:58.619 --> 00:31:00.519 here we go again. Josh Allen throws a pick. Now 00:31:00.519 --> 00:31:03.500 the defender made a great play, but the James 00:31:03.500 --> 00:31:07.430 Cook fumble off his knee and just. Wow. Wow. 00:31:07.529 --> 00:31:09.970 We were cruising two drives right there that 00:31:09.970 --> 00:31:11.829 didn't amount to any points, and we finished 00:31:11.829 --> 00:31:13.690 the half with three. But the second half, the 00:31:13.690 --> 00:31:16.390 second half, going back and seeing that Bosa 00:31:16.390 --> 00:31:19.289 sack on Aaron Rodgers. First of all, Aaron Rodgers, 00:31:19.390 --> 00:31:22.490 side note. This dude looks like he's 65 years 00:31:22.490 --> 00:31:26.250 old. What is he doing? Shame on the Steelers. 00:31:26.250 --> 00:31:28.089 Shame on the Steelers for thinking this is a 00:31:28.089 --> 00:31:30.369 great idea. We're going to bring in this old 00:31:30.369 --> 00:31:32.369 man, Aaron Rodgers, and he's going to be the 00:31:32.369 --> 00:31:34.170 savior of the Steelers organization. You know 00:31:34.170 --> 00:31:36.309 what? You make a stupid decision like that, and 00:31:36.309 --> 00:31:39.250 you get what you pay for. What did you think 00:31:39.250 --> 00:31:41.289 was going to happen? Did you think he was going 00:31:41.289 --> 00:31:44.630 to be reverted to 30 -year -old Aaron Rodgers, 00:31:44.730 --> 00:31:48.450 35 -year -old Aaron Rodgers? No, he's 42 -some 00:31:48.450 --> 00:31:52.319 years old. He looks like he's 60. He is terrible. 00:31:52.579 --> 00:31:54.799 So shame on you, Mike Tomlin, number one, for 00:31:54.799 --> 00:31:56.480 signing this guy and number two, for playing 00:31:56.480 --> 00:32:00.700 him because he was clearly less than 100 % heading 00:32:00.700 --> 00:32:03.160 into this game. But I love it. I love it because 00:32:03.160 --> 00:32:06.680 he played like crap and Rudolph, the backup, 00:32:06.880 --> 00:32:09.000 well, he probably gave you a better chance to 00:32:09.000 --> 00:32:11.700 win, but I would, who knows? Who knows at this 00:32:11.700 --> 00:32:13.940 point? The second half, the scoop and score of 00:32:13.940 --> 00:32:17.059 Christian Benford after Bosa just levels him. 00:32:17.160 --> 00:32:20.460 I mean, he leveled him. That was an awesome hit. 00:32:20.579 --> 00:32:22.660 Benford picks it up. Scoop and score. Tutty. 00:32:22.680 --> 00:32:25.960 It's all of a sudden 10 -7. And we are never 00:32:25.960 --> 00:32:28.500 looking back. Never looking back. The defense, 00:32:28.720 --> 00:32:30.579 first we'll start with the defense. The Bills 00:32:30.579 --> 00:32:34.359 defense held the Steelers to 58 yards rushing 00:32:34.359 --> 00:32:37.900 and 117 yards passing. You add that up, that's 00:32:37.900 --> 00:32:39.900 less than 200 yards of total offense for the 00:32:39.900 --> 00:32:41.859 Pittsburgh Steelers. Congratulations, Bills defense. 00:32:42.140 --> 00:32:45.839 Y 'all freaking crushed it. You balled out. That 00:32:45.839 --> 00:32:48.220 was amazing. I said that the Steelers, despite 00:32:48.220 --> 00:32:49.839 the fact that they're not that great at running 00:32:49.839 --> 00:32:51.720 the ball, they should have leaned into it. Well, 00:32:51.859 --> 00:32:54.819 the Bills had that on complete lockdown. They 00:32:54.819 --> 00:32:58.720 played great. Great. DK Metcalf. I think you 00:32:58.720 --> 00:33:00.900 hold him in check, and Christian Benford's coming 00:33:00.900 --> 00:33:03.240 on. He's coming on, which is perfect, because 00:33:03.240 --> 00:33:05.720 we are going to need him like nothing else next 00:33:05.720 --> 00:33:08.380 week to go against Jamar Chase. But to hold them 00:33:08.380 --> 00:33:10.940 to under 200 yards rushing, and then on the offensive 00:33:10.940 --> 00:33:13.059 side of the ball, who had this in their bingo 00:33:13.059 --> 00:33:16.000 card? 249 yards rushing for the Buffalo Bills 00:33:16.000 --> 00:33:18.619 offense, breaking the record of the all -time 00:33:18.619 --> 00:33:21.680 rushing record inside Accresure Stadium for a 00:33:21.680 --> 00:33:24.440 visiting team. Good, good, because I had this 00:33:24.440 --> 00:33:27.539 game. marked on our calendar uh for the whole 00:33:27.539 --> 00:33:29.619 year i can't wait i couldn't wait to go into 00:33:29.619 --> 00:33:32.400 pittsburgh and and beat them i didn't think it 00:33:32.400 --> 00:33:34.259 was going to be a beat down like this and this 00:33:34.259 --> 00:33:36.119 is one of those you know i talk about old school 00:33:36.119 --> 00:33:37.880 wrestling this was one of those old school football 00:33:37.880 --> 00:33:40.539 games where the offensive line and this was crazy 00:33:40.539 --> 00:33:42.579 because we had no spencer brown and we had no 00:33:42.579 --> 00:33:45.480 deon dawkins so two backup offensive linemen 00:33:45.480 --> 00:33:47.740 and we go into pittsburgh into their stadium 00:33:47.740 --> 00:33:51.640 and we rush for 250 yards just destroying it 00:33:51.640 --> 00:33:54.490 right down their freaking throats Play after 00:33:54.490 --> 00:33:56.690 play after play after play. What was the byproduct? 00:33:56.869 --> 00:33:59.109 Oh, the Steelers didn't really care for that. 00:33:59.170 --> 00:34:00.890 They started getting a little chippy. People 00:34:00.890 --> 00:34:03.190 started getting mad and all this nonsense with 00:34:03.190 --> 00:34:07.509 Cam Hayward and all his. crying and all this 00:34:07.509 --> 00:34:10.289 crap coming out about, oh, Josh, need me in the 00:34:10.289 --> 00:34:13.769 stomach. Dude, you are 6 '4", 350 pounds, one 00:34:13.769 --> 00:34:15.949 of the biggest guys in football, and you're complaining 00:34:15.949 --> 00:34:18.050 that a quarterback needs you in the stomach? 00:34:18.170 --> 00:34:19.929 Well, because you were laying on top of him? 00:34:20.050 --> 00:34:22.409 I don't know. Just ridiculous. A couple things. 00:34:22.670 --> 00:34:25.969 I give props to Alec Anderson and Ryan Vandermark. 00:34:26.090 --> 00:34:30.190 You guys, way to go. I know there were some offsides 00:34:30.190 --> 00:34:32.929 issues. on passing plays because y 'all were 00:34:32.929 --> 00:34:34.949 trying to anticipate getting out of the break 00:34:34.949 --> 00:34:39.070 and protecting Josh from TJ Watt. Props to the 00:34:39.070 --> 00:34:41.030 offensive line. I mean, y 'all showed up. You 00:34:41.030 --> 00:34:42.530 brought your lunch pails to work and you just 00:34:42.530 --> 00:34:44.690 beat the crap out of this dealer's defensive 00:34:44.690 --> 00:34:46.809 line. And it was awesome. It was awesome to see 00:34:46.809 --> 00:34:49.690 Josh Allen. He scored his 76th rushing touchdown, 00:34:49.809 --> 00:34:51.809 which is the most by a quarterback of all time. 00:34:51.869 --> 00:34:53.849 So congrats. You are number one on the list. 00:34:53.909 --> 00:34:55.130 I don't think that record's ever going to be 00:34:55.130 --> 00:34:57.730 broken because he's going to obviously keep adding 00:34:57.730 --> 00:35:00.030 to it. There's never going to be another quarterback 00:35:00.030 --> 00:35:02.429 like him in the history of football. I'm planting 00:35:02.429 --> 00:35:04.860 my flag right there. He's going to go down as 00:35:04.860 --> 00:35:07.219 the all -time rushing quarterback touchdown leader 00:35:07.219 --> 00:35:09.440 in the history of the NFL. I'm just telling you 00:35:09.440 --> 00:35:11.539 right now. And then like we talked about, most 00:35:11.539 --> 00:35:13.559 rushing yards by a visiting team in Akershire 00:35:13.559 --> 00:35:15.639 Stadium history. That's great. That's great. 00:35:15.820 --> 00:35:18.340 So now the negatives. The negatives are Bills 00:35:18.340 --> 00:35:20.739 Mafia. You all are complaining because we didn't 00:35:20.739 --> 00:35:24.000 win with enough style points. We didn't really 00:35:24.000 --> 00:35:28.320 dive into the aerial attack. We didn't come out 00:35:28.320 --> 00:35:30.340 guns blazing and our passing game still looks 00:35:30.340 --> 00:35:32.440 like crap. Well, you know what? I talked about 00:35:32.440 --> 00:35:34.599 it in my game preview. You have to win at all 00:35:34.599 --> 00:35:36.900 costs. This was a must win for both teams. A 00:35:36.900 --> 00:35:39.139 must win for the Bills. A must win for the Steelers. 00:35:39.320 --> 00:35:42.320 And a dub is a dub. I don't care how we get it. 00:35:42.519 --> 00:35:45.199 So consider this. We were down two offensive 00:35:45.199 --> 00:35:48.059 linemen. We had no Dalton Kincaid. We had no 00:35:48.059 --> 00:35:51.300 Josh Palmer. And Brandon Cooks is literally in 00:35:51.300 --> 00:35:53.179 the building for three or four days. I can't 00:35:53.179 --> 00:35:55.719 remember exactly when he came into the building. 00:35:55.880 --> 00:35:58.840 You went on the road. You're playing in a windy 00:35:58.840 --> 00:36:02.800 stadium. The weather wasn't great. And game script, 00:36:03.019 --> 00:36:05.039 I talk about this all the time. Joe Brady, know 00:36:05.039 --> 00:36:06.900 your game script. Know how the flow of the game 00:36:06.900 --> 00:36:09.300 is going. I actually commend him. I'm not going 00:36:09.300 --> 00:36:12.119 to put him on the negative list today. One play, 00:36:12.300 --> 00:36:14.380 he ran the stupid Shakir screen, which I hate. 00:36:14.460 --> 00:36:15.719 And that was early in the game and I almost got 00:36:15.719 --> 00:36:18.400 picked off. But for the most part, he leaned 00:36:18.400 --> 00:36:20.719 into the run script because he knew that we were 00:36:20.719 --> 00:36:23.500 getting. Chunk play after chunk play on the ground. 00:36:23.619 --> 00:36:26.400 Is it pretty? I don't know. It depends. How do 00:36:26.400 --> 00:36:28.659 you like your football? Do you like to just beat 00:36:28.659 --> 00:36:30.940 the absolute snot of your opponent? Or do you 00:36:30.940 --> 00:36:33.079 like to throw the ball all over the field? Sometimes 00:36:33.079 --> 00:36:35.780 I like a little of both. But it was great to 00:36:35.780 --> 00:36:38.199 watch the Steelers sit there and cry like a bunch 00:36:38.199 --> 00:36:40.659 of babies. And we just manhandled them up and 00:36:40.659 --> 00:36:42.960 down the field to a tune of 250 yards on the 00:36:42.960 --> 00:36:45.599 ground. So I don't know what y 'all want. I don't 00:36:45.599 --> 00:36:48.139 know what y 'all want. This game played itself 00:36:48.139 --> 00:36:51.559 out. In the best possible way. We kept Josh safe. 00:36:52.539 --> 00:36:55.820 We kept players off the field who probably could 00:36:55.820 --> 00:36:58.119 have played. But maybe we were just protecting 00:36:58.119 --> 00:36:59.960 them and getting them ready. I'm telling you 00:36:59.960 --> 00:37:02.360 right now, this Bengals game is going to be a 00:37:02.360 --> 00:37:05.840 huge game. A huge game. I'm still a little upset 00:37:05.840 --> 00:37:07.559 that they moved the game back to 1 o 'clock. 00:37:07.639 --> 00:37:08.840 Because now I'm not going to be able to make 00:37:08.840 --> 00:37:12.699 it. But I digress. But to hold the ball for 42 00:37:12.699 --> 00:37:16.199 minutes on offense. 42 minutes. Think about that. 00:37:16.989 --> 00:37:19.809 The Steelers only had the ball for 18 minutes 00:37:19.809 --> 00:37:22.170 of this game. You don't see that too often. So 00:37:22.170 --> 00:37:24.289 I don't want to hear about, well, the offense, 00:37:24.550 --> 00:37:27.429 the passing game is still broken, blah, blah, 00:37:27.469 --> 00:37:29.969 blah, blah, blah. You could be right. I'm not 00:37:29.969 --> 00:37:32.150 saying you're wrong, but the game script for 00:37:32.150 --> 00:37:34.690 this game dictated that we didn't need to throw 00:37:34.690 --> 00:37:37.309 it. Now that will probably change in the next 00:37:37.309 --> 00:37:40.309 few weeks. But if you are able to run the ball, 00:37:40.409 --> 00:37:42.929 then you run the ball. And we've seen this time 00:37:42.929 --> 00:37:45.340 after time. When we abandon the run and it's 00:37:45.340 --> 00:37:47.059 working, that's when we get ourselves in trouble. 00:37:47.239 --> 00:37:49.980 This is what happened with Houston. We were finding 00:37:49.980 --> 00:37:53.599 success, but we refused to lean into it. At least 00:37:53.599 --> 00:37:55.960 Joe Brady recognized, hey, the running game's 00:37:55.960 --> 00:37:57.579 working. We're going to keep leaning into it. 00:37:57.619 --> 00:37:59.639 And it wasn't just James Cook. It was Ty Johnson. 00:37:59.860 --> 00:38:01.800 It was Ray Davis. Ray Davis was a beast in this 00:38:01.800 --> 00:38:05.079 game. Awesome. He was a beast in this game. So 00:38:05.079 --> 00:38:08.320 it was the trifecta of awesome. And Brady sprinkled 00:38:08.320 --> 00:38:11.119 in a few. A few new looks. You had the offset 00:38:11.119 --> 00:38:14.179 eye formation with Ty Johnson lining up in front 00:38:14.179 --> 00:38:16.980 of James Cook. And we had like a short, I think 00:38:16.980 --> 00:38:18.699 it was a fourth and two. And we do the inside 00:38:18.699 --> 00:38:21.639 handoff to Ty Johnson. I love that play call. 00:38:21.760 --> 00:38:24.460 Love it. Because you're adding some new wrinkles 00:38:24.460 --> 00:38:27.679 to the running game. It's great. And then you 00:38:27.679 --> 00:38:29.199 got guys like TJ Watt, and he's complaining, 00:38:29.360 --> 00:38:30.900 well, the Bills ran the same play over and over 00:38:30.900 --> 00:38:32.940 again. Well, you couldn't stop him. So why are 00:38:32.940 --> 00:38:34.679 you going to show new looks and new things if 00:38:34.679 --> 00:38:37.159 you can't stop the team? So if you can master 00:38:37.159 --> 00:38:40.340 a few plays, and hear my words, if you can master 00:38:40.340 --> 00:38:42.019 a few plays, the plays that we don't master, 00:38:42.079 --> 00:38:44.380 the screen to Shakir and Prey, get that out of 00:38:44.380 --> 00:38:48.599 here. The old end around, which we fumbled on 00:38:48.599 --> 00:38:51.280 twice, get that out of here. But if you can master 00:38:51.280 --> 00:38:54.699 this run game with Cook and a few variations 00:38:54.699 --> 00:38:57.199 off of that, run it all day. If they're not going 00:38:57.199 --> 00:38:58.900 to stop you and they're just going to complain 00:38:58.900 --> 00:39:01.480 about it, run it all day. So yeah, the only concern 00:39:01.480 --> 00:39:03.380 coming out of this game is the Joey Bosa injury. 00:39:03.880 --> 00:39:06.360 The only concern is the Joey Bosa injury. He 00:39:06.360 --> 00:39:09.320 didn't finish the game. Now, he didn't seem like 00:39:09.320 --> 00:39:11.260 it was such a big deal, but he didn't finish 00:39:11.260 --> 00:39:14.460 the game, and it's a hamstring. So we have seen 00:39:14.460 --> 00:39:16.880 historically this season that the Bills really 00:39:16.880 --> 00:39:19.139 play it safe with these soft tissue injuries. 00:39:19.559 --> 00:39:21.539 I mean, KK just missed three straight games. 00:39:21.699 --> 00:39:23.480 Yeah, so I don't know. I don't know. Maybe he 00:39:23.480 --> 00:39:25.800 won't be available for the Bengals game, which 00:39:25.800 --> 00:39:28.079 we're going to kind of lean into here in a minute. 00:39:28.320 --> 00:39:30.059 Other than that, everyone seemed to come out 00:39:30.059 --> 00:39:32.239 of this game healthy. You had the return of Keon 00:39:32.239 --> 00:39:33.900 Coleman. Now he ended up catching a touchdown. 00:39:34.099 --> 00:39:35.760 I think he only had two catches in the game, 00:39:35.840 --> 00:39:38.639 but he made an impact. That play, that throw 00:39:38.639 --> 00:39:41.679 to Keon where Josh fakes on a rollout to his 00:39:41.679 --> 00:39:44.599 left and fakes and then gets the defender up 00:39:44.599 --> 00:39:47.619 in the air and then throws the shot in the corner 00:39:47.619 --> 00:39:50.000 of the end zone to Keon. Great play. Great play. 00:39:50.099 --> 00:39:52.519 Just an awesome play. Awesome play. But yeah, 00:39:52.599 --> 00:39:55.800 I'm happy with the result. Did he throw for 275 00:39:55.800 --> 00:39:58.639 and four touchdowns? No. But we didn't need it. 00:39:58.699 --> 00:40:00.820 So take it easy. That's what I'm talking about. 00:40:00.840 --> 00:40:04.519 Just enjoy the games that we do win. And we win 00:40:04.519 --> 00:40:07.559 pretty handily. Because once Rodgers fumbles 00:40:07.559 --> 00:40:10.360 at the opening of the second half, the game's 00:40:10.360 --> 00:40:12.559 over. I really enjoyed watching that play over 00:40:12.559 --> 00:40:15.019 and over and over again. Anyway, I'm not going 00:40:15.019 --> 00:40:17.599 to be able to get a game preview out for the 00:40:17.599 --> 00:40:20.760 upcoming Bengals game this week. So I'm going 00:40:20.760 --> 00:40:24.059 to kind of try to do some of it now. So normally 00:40:24.059 --> 00:40:25.780 what I do, I start with the power rankings. The 00:40:25.780 --> 00:40:28.460 power rankings are out. They just popped out 00:40:28.460 --> 00:40:31.300 this morning and the Bills moved up slightly 00:40:31.300 --> 00:40:34.539 in some publications and held steady in others. 00:40:34.980 --> 00:40:38.940 So some still have us as low as 11 and others 00:40:38.940 --> 00:40:41.599 have us moved up to the eight or nine spot. So, 00:40:41.599 --> 00:40:43.880 I mean, not much. I don't think people are really 00:40:43.880 --> 00:40:46.840 holding the Steelers in high regard this year, 00:40:46.920 --> 00:40:49.260 which makes sense because I don't think they're 00:40:49.260 --> 00:40:50.900 a very good football team. Yeah, we'll be anywhere 00:40:50.900 --> 00:40:53.630 between eight and 11. And then who's leading 00:40:53.630 --> 00:40:55.289 in some of these? I don't know. I've seen the 00:40:55.289 --> 00:40:58.489 Rams. I've seen the Patriots. It goes back and 00:40:58.489 --> 00:41:00.650 forth. The Broncos are up there. None of these 00:41:00.650 --> 00:41:03.349 teams scare me. The Rams just lost. The Patriots, 00:41:03.349 --> 00:41:05.789 I know they just blew out the Giants last night, 00:41:05.849 --> 00:41:07.730 but we shall see what happens in two weeks when 00:41:07.730 --> 00:41:09.650 we go to Foxborough. I'm looking forward to that. 00:41:10.250 --> 00:41:12.170 Let's turn our attention to injuries coming into 00:41:12.170 --> 00:41:14.719 this Bengals game. This is my concern with the 00:41:14.719 --> 00:41:17.079 Bosa thing. He's dealing with the hammy. I think 00:41:17.079 --> 00:41:19.800 if this was a must -win scenario, I think Dalton 00:41:19.800 --> 00:41:22.280 Kincaid probably would have played in the Steelers 00:41:22.280 --> 00:41:25.280 game. So I'm thinking he's going to be back for 00:41:25.280 --> 00:41:27.840 the Bengals game. I also think, I know McDermott 00:41:27.840 --> 00:41:29.579 had a press conference yesterday afternoon, and 00:41:29.579 --> 00:41:31.159 he said that these guys are all kind of leaning 00:41:31.159 --> 00:41:33.980 in the right direction. So Kincaid, Palmer, I 00:41:33.980 --> 00:41:36.340 bet you they both take the field. Deion Dawkins, 00:41:36.420 --> 00:41:38.280 he's still in concussion protocol. That's going 00:41:38.280 --> 00:41:40.599 to be a huge red flag, a huge question mark. 00:41:41.340 --> 00:41:43.539 Terrell Bernard, can we talk about Terrell Bernard 00:41:43.539 --> 00:41:46.420 for a minute? This is kind of the deal with Taylor 00:41:46.420 --> 00:41:50.119 Rapp, addition by subtraction. When Taylor Rapp 00:41:50.119 --> 00:41:52.659 was brought off the field and we found out he 00:41:52.659 --> 00:41:54.760 had an injury and he had to have surgery, what 00:41:54.760 --> 00:41:57.099 happened? The secondary kind of got better. Well, 00:41:57.139 --> 00:41:58.639 what's happened when Terrell Bernard has been 00:41:58.639 --> 00:42:01.360 off the field? I feel like the defense, the middle 00:42:01.360 --> 00:42:03.519 of the defense has gotten better. Shaq Thompson 00:42:03.519 --> 00:42:07.630 is a beast. So when push cups to shove. I would 00:42:07.630 --> 00:42:10.650 rather see Shaq in there because I feel like 00:42:10.650 --> 00:42:13.869 it allows some of the other guys to play a little 00:42:13.869 --> 00:42:16.369 freer, if you will. Milano is looking a little 00:42:16.369 --> 00:42:18.829 better. I just think the defense is playing better 00:42:18.829 --> 00:42:21.809 without Bernard and without Taylor Rapp. And 00:42:21.809 --> 00:42:24.510 think of that however you want. Those guys were 00:42:24.510 --> 00:42:26.469 having terrible seasons and maybe it's injury 00:42:26.469 --> 00:42:28.510 related. Maybe it's not. Maybe they're just having 00:42:28.510 --> 00:42:30.809 to step back in their career. Shaq Thompson is 00:42:30.809 --> 00:42:33.510 there and he can play. So get him on the field. 00:42:33.630 --> 00:42:35.059 Those things are looking better. But anyway, 00:42:35.139 --> 00:42:36.780 Terrell Bernard, he's still dealing with the 00:42:36.780 --> 00:42:38.780 arm thing. I'm not sure if he's going to be available. 00:42:39.139 --> 00:42:41.099 Spencer Brown still dealing with the shoulder. 00:42:41.260 --> 00:42:44.019 They were considering putting him on IR. I don't 00:42:44.019 --> 00:42:46.500 know what the case is, but I would doubt that 00:42:46.500 --> 00:42:48.659 he's going to be available come Sunday. And then, 00:42:48.679 --> 00:42:51.480 as I talked about before, Tyler Bass had season 00:42:51.480 --> 00:42:54.059 -ending surgery. They found something that was 00:42:54.059 --> 00:42:56.900 upsetting. don't know all the details and they 00:42:56.900 --> 00:42:58.880 elected to have surgery and he is done for the 00:42:58.880 --> 00:43:01.320 year. So Matt Prater, you are on the clock. There 00:43:01.320 --> 00:43:03.139 is no pressure of you losing your job. So don't 00:43:03.139 --> 00:43:05.659 start shanking kicks all over the place. Get 00:43:05.659 --> 00:43:08.039 your stuff together and start making these kicks 00:43:08.039 --> 00:43:12.219 as the 82 year veteran that you are. What else 00:43:12.219 --> 00:43:14.239 we want to talk about? Joe Burrow. He made his 00:43:14.239 --> 00:43:17.360 long awaited return to the Bengals lineup. Did 00:43:17.360 --> 00:43:20.280 you all see this Ravens Bengals game? Yikes. 00:43:20.380 --> 00:43:23.460 I had to get up early on Friday. So I didn't 00:43:23.460 --> 00:43:25.989 watch very much of this game. But I got up on 00:43:25.989 --> 00:43:28.030 Friday, and I looked at this game, and I saw 00:43:28.030 --> 00:43:31.090 the score 32 -14, and I said, what the actual 00:43:31.090 --> 00:43:34.449 heck happened to the Ravens? Joe Burrow's back. 00:43:34.590 --> 00:43:36.550 He returned Thanksgiving night, and they just 00:43:36.550 --> 00:43:39.090 crushed the Ravens. I watched a lot of the highlights. 00:43:39.269 --> 00:43:42.929 He still looks like he is, you know, not 100%. 00:43:42.929 --> 00:43:46.269 I would put him probably at 80%, 85%. He looks 00:43:46.269 --> 00:43:47.829 like he can't really step into some of these 00:43:47.829 --> 00:43:49.710 throws. His arm strength isn't totally back. 00:43:50.650 --> 00:43:52.690 He looks like he's still a little limited with 00:43:52.690 --> 00:43:55.320 his mobility. So we shall see how the toe injury 00:43:55.320 --> 00:43:57.800 affects him going into the rest of the season. 00:43:57.960 --> 00:44:00.380 I mean, with him back, anything's possible. There 00:44:00.380 --> 00:44:03.380 are only two games out of the AFC North and the 00:44:03.380 --> 00:44:04.980 Steelers, the Ravens, the Browns, they're all 00:44:04.980 --> 00:44:07.760 falling apart. So it would not shock me if they 00:44:07.760 --> 00:44:09.980 could go on a run, but I don't want it to start 00:44:09.980 --> 00:44:12.280 Sunday against Buffalo in Orchard Park. The Bengals. 00:44:12.639 --> 00:44:14.519 They are bad against the run. I mean bad. They 00:44:14.519 --> 00:44:17.539 are 31st in the league, giving up 153 yards per 00:44:17.539 --> 00:44:19.760 game. So what do we need to do? It's kind of 00:44:19.760 --> 00:44:21.840 the same game script that we just had against 00:44:21.840 --> 00:44:24.079 the Steelers, if I'm looking at this game right. 00:44:24.619 --> 00:44:27.400 Now the Bengals have a much better aerial attack, 00:44:27.559 --> 00:44:29.360 and you've got a much better quarterback and 00:44:29.360 --> 00:44:32.000 much better wide receivers on this team. So we 00:44:32.000 --> 00:44:34.179 need to control the game. We need to not get 00:44:34.179 --> 00:44:37.159 into a shootout with Joe Burrow and Jamar Chase 00:44:37.159 --> 00:44:39.300 and T. Higgins, who I think is going to be back. 00:44:39.440 --> 00:44:42.050 That's their trifecta, right? Higgins, Chase, 00:44:42.269 --> 00:44:44.949 Burrow. He's just going to bomb it out. So Christian 00:44:44.949 --> 00:44:47.710 Benford, you are up, my friend. This is going 00:44:47.710 --> 00:44:50.250 to be your best chance to prove that you are 00:44:50.250 --> 00:44:53.309 back. You've had two better games after a terrible 00:44:53.309 --> 00:44:54.929 start to the year, and now you're going to be 00:44:54.929 --> 00:44:57.150 matched up with probably arguably one of the 00:44:57.150 --> 00:44:59.349 best two or three receivers in the league with 00:44:59.349 --> 00:45:02.090 Jamar Chase. He has the most catches by a wide 00:45:02.090 --> 00:45:04.130 receiver in the NFL. They're going to be bombs 00:45:04.130 --> 00:45:06.610 away. Bombs away. Because their running game 00:45:06.610 --> 00:45:08.630 kind of is non -existent. And so it's a Trey, 00:45:08.670 --> 00:45:11.820 Trey White, Maxwell Harrison. And Christian Benford 00:45:11.820 --> 00:45:14.400 game. This is the key. You have to be able to 00:45:14.400 --> 00:45:17.340 get pressure on Joe. Like I said, he might not 00:45:17.340 --> 00:45:20.619 be as mobile as he used to be. But if Bosa is 00:45:20.619 --> 00:45:24.500 out, our key pass rusher is down because I could 00:45:24.500 --> 00:45:27.099 see him missing this game. That means, Epinesa, 00:45:27.139 --> 00:45:29.539 you got to step up. No more stupid penalties 00:45:29.539 --> 00:45:31.380 like knocking the ball out of somebody's hands 00:45:31.380 --> 00:45:34.019 for 15 -yard personal foul. Dude, get your head 00:45:34.019 --> 00:45:36.820 out of your rear end and get back to playing 00:45:36.820 --> 00:45:38.139 like you did at the beginning of the season. 00:45:38.300 --> 00:45:41.309 Need him to step up. up. And some of these other 00:45:41.309 --> 00:45:43.489 guys need to step up because especially Bosa's 00:45:43.489 --> 00:45:45.090 out. It's going to be tough to get pressure on 00:45:45.090 --> 00:45:47.269 Joe, but we got to get pressure on Joe and we 00:45:47.269 --> 00:45:49.730 got to allow our cornerbacks a chance against 00:45:49.730 --> 00:45:53.449 Jamar and T Higgins. And then, like I said, establish 00:45:53.449 --> 00:45:55.190 the run, just like Pittsburgh, keep the ball 00:45:55.190 --> 00:45:56.929 out of Joe's hands for as long as possible. If 00:45:56.929 --> 00:45:59.550 we can have the ball for 35 to 40 minutes, we 00:45:59.550 --> 00:46:01.079 should be in a pretty good shape. Get the pass 00:46:01.079 --> 00:46:03.659 rush going, avoid a shootout, and don't turn 00:46:03.659 --> 00:46:06.139 the ball over. For the love of God, what's happened 00:46:06.139 --> 00:46:08.579 to this team? We used to be so locked tight with 00:46:08.579 --> 00:46:11.099 the turnovers, and now every game it seems like 00:46:11.099 --> 00:46:13.460 two to three turnovers. You can't go against 00:46:13.460 --> 00:46:15.139 these better teams, turn the ball over, and expect 00:46:15.139 --> 00:46:16.960 to win. You just can't. Got to lock that up, 00:46:17.059 --> 00:46:19.860 folks. Got to lock it up. But I expect some of 00:46:19.860 --> 00:46:21.519 these guys to come back. I would love to see 00:46:21.519 --> 00:46:24.940 KK come back and at least have a... more of a 00:46:24.940 --> 00:46:27.099 threat of a balanced attack if need be through 00:46:27.099 --> 00:46:29.820 the air and josh palmer so you get cooks and 00:46:29.820 --> 00:46:33.559 josh palmer and kincaid and just shakir and then 00:46:33.559 --> 00:46:37.860 you sprinkle in some keon coleman and and dawson 00:46:37.860 --> 00:46:41.460 knox hey okay let's see what we got let's see 00:46:41.460 --> 00:46:43.880 what we got oh my stress meter my stress meter 00:46:43.880 --> 00:46:45.519 i always forget the stress meter because usually 00:46:45.519 --> 00:46:47.519 it's broken from week to week but the stress 00:46:47.519 --> 00:46:51.559 meter going into this game this is i don't know 00:46:52.639 --> 00:46:56.739 I was worried. I had this game circled on my 00:46:56.739 --> 00:46:59.099 calendar from as soon as the schedule came out. 00:46:59.139 --> 00:47:00.880 I think that this was going to be a key game. 00:47:01.000 --> 00:47:03.460 And I know Joe got hurt. Joe Burrow got hurt. 00:47:03.559 --> 00:47:08.380 The Bengals have had a down year so far. They're 00:47:08.380 --> 00:47:11.099 coming into this game with some momentum because 00:47:11.099 --> 00:47:12.719 Joe's back and I think he's a leader of this 00:47:12.719 --> 00:47:14.679 team. And as they go, the team goes. So I could 00:47:14.679 --> 00:47:18.079 see them being a dark horse and can knock some 00:47:18.079 --> 00:47:20.320 of these other fringe playoff teams completely 00:47:20.320 --> 00:47:22.679 out of contention. So they could play spoiler 00:47:22.679 --> 00:47:24.880 the rest of the year, if not climb back into 00:47:24.880 --> 00:47:26.960 contention themselves. It's a stressful game 00:47:26.960 --> 00:47:30.099 because this offense of the Bengals can put pressure 00:47:30.099 --> 00:47:31.900 on the Bills defense. But I think we are going 00:47:31.900 --> 00:47:34.059 to be okay. I got my stretch meter right around 00:47:34.059 --> 00:47:36.610 a five, right around a five. And I think that's 00:47:36.610 --> 00:47:39.150 because the defense is playing well. But we do 00:47:39.150 --> 00:47:41.090 have a lot of injuries, and I just think the 00:47:41.090 --> 00:47:42.989 Bengals are a better team than the Steelers are 00:47:42.989 --> 00:47:44.710 right now. I know it's hard to say because their 00:47:44.710 --> 00:47:47.170 record doesn't reflect that, but I think you 00:47:47.170 --> 00:47:49.070 add Joe Burrow back to the mix, and I think it 00:47:49.070 --> 00:47:51.610 makes them a better team, especially coming off 00:47:51.610 --> 00:47:53.690 the heels of just demolishing the Ravens. So 00:47:53.690 --> 00:47:55.090 I think this team is going to present a bigger 00:47:55.090 --> 00:47:57.090 problem to the Bills. So, yeah, my stress meter 00:47:57.090 --> 00:47:59.630 is at a 5. But anyway, I don't think it's going 00:47:59.630 --> 00:48:01.469 to change my prediction because here we go, Sunday 00:48:01.469 --> 00:48:03.849 at 1 o 'clock, Highmark Stadium. Bills right 00:48:03.849 --> 00:48:06.750 now are favored at home by six points against 00:48:06.750 --> 00:48:10.030 the incoming Cincinnati Bengals. How do I have 00:48:10.030 --> 00:48:11.650 this one playing out, folks? I have this one 00:48:11.650 --> 00:48:14.019 with the Bills. Covering the spread and winning 00:48:14.019 --> 00:48:17.019 31 -24. I think we keep some positive momentum 00:48:17.019 --> 00:48:19.699 going. I think some incremental changes are happening 00:48:19.699 --> 00:48:21.320 on the defensive side of the ball, which I really 00:48:21.320 --> 00:48:24.099 like. If we could keep playing smart, good, sound 00:48:24.099 --> 00:48:26.380 football. If we could keep making tackles, which 00:48:26.380 --> 00:48:28.360 was huge in the last game. We only had four missed 00:48:28.360 --> 00:48:30.340 tackles, which has been the plague of the defense 00:48:30.340 --> 00:48:34.699 thus far this season. They tackled really well 00:48:34.699 --> 00:48:37.539 last game. If we could tackle well and hold T. 00:48:37.559 --> 00:48:42.780 Higgins and Jamar down to relatively easy, easy 00:48:42.780 --> 00:48:45.559 to manage games i think i think we can end up 00:48:45.559 --> 00:48:47.780 winning this game at home i think the crowd's 00:48:47.780 --> 00:48:51.179 gonna have a huge impact and so yeah 31 24 i 00:48:51.179 --> 00:48:54.000 like this game and as i said the next one on 00:48:54.000 --> 00:48:56.059 the schedule the patriots that's that's the game 00:48:56.059 --> 00:48:57.559 that we're gonna highlight for the rest of the 00:48:57.559 --> 00:49:00.300 year so i think it's gonna wrap it up for the 00:49:00.300 --> 00:49:02.679 bills portion now i want to finish this with 00:49:02.679 --> 00:49:05.860 a quick hobby portion, card enthusiast, hobby 00:49:05.860 --> 00:49:08.019 enthusiast, how are we feeling? I'm going to 00:49:08.019 --> 00:49:10.500 start right off with my If Money Were No Object 00:49:10.500 --> 00:49:12.500 Buy of the Week, and we are going to talk about 00:49:12.500 --> 00:49:17.139 none other than 2425 The Cup NHL. And you might 00:49:17.139 --> 00:49:20.199 say, what? Why are you talking about NHL? I started 00:49:20.199 --> 00:49:22.119 to look into this, and The Cup is like their 00:49:22.119 --> 00:49:25.119 premium product. And I know it says 2425, but 00:49:25.119 --> 00:49:28.489 what they do is this product. is worked on all 00:49:28.489 --> 00:49:31.110 through the last regular season. I know we were 00:49:31.110 --> 00:49:34.269 on 25, 26, but they put this together and they 00:49:34.269 --> 00:49:36.789 work on this throughout the entire last season. 00:49:36.889 --> 00:49:39.349 And then they finally drop it during the current 00:49:39.349 --> 00:49:41.889 season. And this is their biggest product of 00:49:41.889 --> 00:49:44.530 the year. They're their highest end. I don't 00:49:44.530 --> 00:49:46.030 want to say biggest product. It's their highest 00:49:46.030 --> 00:49:50.030 end, highest quality, most expensive release 00:49:50.030 --> 00:49:54.269 that they do. And this is upper deck 24, 25 NHL, 00:49:54.269 --> 00:49:56.780 the cup. It comes out. on tomorrow, actually, 00:49:56.800 --> 00:49:59.239 Wednesday, December 3rd. And I'm looking at these 00:49:59.239 --> 00:50:02.440 cards and some of these cards are just insane. 00:50:02.659 --> 00:50:06.019 There is a Wayne Gretzky exquisite autograph 00:50:06.019 --> 00:50:10.159 patch card, one of one, that has him in his Edmonton 00:50:10.159 --> 00:50:13.619 Oilers uniform. The patch is sick. It has orange, 00:50:13.780 --> 00:50:16.820 white, and blue. It has Wayne Gretzky's auto 00:50:16.820 --> 00:50:19.739 with a 99 inscription on it. And it's a one of 00:50:19.739 --> 00:50:21.360 one. If you haven't seen this card, this card 00:50:21.360 --> 00:50:25.980 is straight fire. But here's the problem. These 00:50:25.980 --> 00:50:28.579 are, like I said, extremely high -end cards, 00:50:28.699 --> 00:50:31.219 and it's one pack per box. You get six cards 00:50:31.219 --> 00:50:33.840 per pack. That's it. So you're getting six cards. 00:50:33.980 --> 00:50:36.980 You get one base card, one rookie patch auto, 00:50:37.179 --> 00:50:41.539 one rookie auto patch card, mem card, book card, 00:50:41.639 --> 00:50:44.500 or printing plate. A little confusion there, 00:50:44.559 --> 00:50:46.639 but I'm trying to actually explain what's in 00:50:46.639 --> 00:50:49.219 this six card pack, which is crazy. Then you 00:50:49.219 --> 00:50:51.599 get two memorabilia cards, which could be base 00:50:51.599 --> 00:50:53.800 insert printing plates or redemption cards. And 00:50:53.800 --> 00:50:55.840 then you get one more additional autograph card. 00:50:55.960 --> 00:51:00.579 So out of this, you're getting one, two, at least 00:51:00.579 --> 00:51:03.900 three autographs out of your six cards. And as 00:51:03.900 --> 00:51:06.219 I said, some of these autographs and the patches 00:51:06.219 --> 00:51:09.719 that come with them are just straight. We're 00:51:09.719 --> 00:51:11.739 used to the napkin patches where you just get 00:51:11.739 --> 00:51:14.539 literally a splotch of white fabric or black 00:51:14.539 --> 00:51:18.760 fabric or whatever color. These are legit patches. 00:51:18.960 --> 00:51:22.940 You get all the stuff that comes from the logos 00:51:22.940 --> 00:51:26.239 on the jerseys. I'm looking at a Conor Bedard. 00:51:27.070 --> 00:51:30.650 card that's called materialist sticks materialistics 00:51:30.650 --> 00:51:33.349 meaning stick of the hockey stick on one half 00:51:33.349 --> 00:51:36.409 of this card you get a patch of the jersey and 00:51:36.409 --> 00:51:38.909 on the other half you have a piece of the hockey 00:51:38.909 --> 00:51:42.150 stick and and that card is autographed at the 00:51:42.150 --> 00:51:45.309 same time so i'm like these cards are ridiculous 00:51:45.309 --> 00:51:50.320 there's a jack eichel card that has a picture 00:51:50.320 --> 00:51:53.719 of him on the side, a golden Knights patch that 00:51:53.719 --> 00:51:56.559 is clearly from like the center of his Jersey. 00:51:56.639 --> 00:51:59.159 And then he autographed that. Um, and that's 00:51:59.159 --> 00:52:01.619 number two, 15 or less. You want to talk straight 00:52:01.619 --> 00:52:04.340 fire. The problem with this is the cost because 00:52:04.340 --> 00:52:07.079 right now, right now you can get these for the 00:52:07.079 --> 00:52:09.940 low, low price of you ready? Six cards, $1 ,500. 00:52:13.809 --> 00:52:17.829 $1 ,500. So I'm not sure how many of you are 00:52:17.829 --> 00:52:21.210 going to run out and buy a pack of these to rip, 00:52:21.289 --> 00:52:23.690 but that's why I have the, if money were no object 00:52:23.690 --> 00:52:26.809 by the week, because I would absolutely love 00:52:26.809 --> 00:52:30.170 to try my luck at one of these autos, one of 00:52:30.170 --> 00:52:32.949 these patches, because they are straight fire, 00:52:33.150 --> 00:52:37.389 straight fire. There's a booklet. that has a 00:52:37.389 --> 00:52:41.530 puck in it on each side of the booklet. If you 00:52:41.530 --> 00:52:43.670 get a chance, just go look these up. These are 00:52:43.670 --> 00:52:46.869 great. Absolutely great. Some great rookies, 00:52:46.889 --> 00:52:49.469 some great classics, some great Hall of Famers 00:52:49.469 --> 00:52:52.550 are in this set. So 1 ,500, six cards. What do 00:52:52.550 --> 00:52:54.809 y 'all think? Should I get two? Money or no objects? 00:52:54.909 --> 00:52:57.409 Should I get two? I don't know. It looks pretty 00:52:57.409 --> 00:52:59.530 sick. What else do I want to talk about? Black 00:52:59.530 --> 00:53:01.820 Friday came and went. And people were going nuts 00:53:01.820 --> 00:53:07.059 over Topps NBA, the Black Friday special edition 00:53:07.059 --> 00:53:10.320 that came out in Targets. People were going absolutely 00:53:10.320 --> 00:53:14.000 nuts about over these. I have to say that I did 00:53:14.000 --> 00:53:19.269 buy a box of these. and they are $34 .99, and 00:53:19.269 --> 00:53:21.530 they were a ton of fun. They have these awesome 00:53:21.530 --> 00:53:24.909 variations called Blackout Parallels, hence the 00:53:24.909 --> 00:53:27.309 name, you know, Blackout with Black Friday. But 00:53:27.309 --> 00:53:29.710 these cards are really cool. I don't think they're 00:53:29.710 --> 00:53:31.389 going to be worth nothing, but I love the look 00:53:31.389 --> 00:53:34.409 of them. Almost in line with the Sepia cards, 00:53:34.630 --> 00:53:37.230 but the straight black and white, and they look 00:53:37.230 --> 00:53:41.530 great. But 132 cards in the box, you get 11 packs, 00:53:41.730 --> 00:53:44.650 12 cards per pack. And these were going for $34 00:53:44.650 --> 00:53:48.289 .99. So I didn't pull anything crazy. No patches, 00:53:48.429 --> 00:53:50.289 no autos, no nothing like that. I don't even 00:53:50.289 --> 00:53:52.610 think I got a numbered card, but it was just 00:53:52.610 --> 00:53:55.190 still a lot of fun. I'm still having fun with 00:53:55.190 --> 00:53:57.389 the Topps product. I am. I'm still having fun, 00:53:57.510 --> 00:53:59.489 but starting to slow down a little bit. So what 00:53:59.489 --> 00:54:02.369 am I actually collecting right now as we kind 00:54:02.369 --> 00:54:04.289 of get into the holidays? It's tough because 00:54:04.289 --> 00:54:06.590 I talked about all the releases that Topps is 00:54:06.590 --> 00:54:08.699 coming out with. You know, when you have the 00:54:08.699 --> 00:54:10.179 holidays and you got people you're trying to 00:54:10.179 --> 00:54:12.579 buy gifts for, it's really hard to justify dropping 00:54:12.579 --> 00:54:17.780 two to $600 on HobbyBox or buying multiple different 00:54:17.780 --> 00:54:20.739 releases. And so I just don't know why they're 00:54:20.739 --> 00:54:24.260 releasing all their products in this small section 00:54:24.260 --> 00:54:26.599 of their calendar. It just doesn't make any sense 00:54:26.599 --> 00:54:29.219 to me. So what am I collecting? I think now is 00:54:29.219 --> 00:54:32.059 the time to really hit up some of the off -season. 00:54:33.349 --> 00:54:36.010 sports. So baseball, I'm really trying to pick 00:54:36.010 --> 00:54:38.469 up singles through eBay or whatever other sites 00:54:38.469 --> 00:54:42.170 of players that I like to PC and collect. I've 00:54:42.170 --> 00:54:43.690 talked about that before in some of the earlier 00:54:43.690 --> 00:54:45.489 podcasts, some of the guys I'm trying to collect, 00:54:45.550 --> 00:54:47.510 some of the guys I'm trying to PC. Royce Lewis 00:54:47.510 --> 00:54:49.610 of the Twins, I'm trying to find some of his 00:54:49.610 --> 00:54:51.369 stuff. Now, right now, I'm trying to pick up 00:54:51.369 --> 00:54:55.690 stuff that's graded. So either PSA or SGC. Stuff 00:54:55.690 --> 00:54:57.469 that I just want from my personal collection, 00:54:57.610 --> 00:55:00.150 stuff like either, I'm trying to get 10s right 00:55:00.150 --> 00:55:02.409 now because it's off season of baseball. Not 00:55:02.409 --> 00:55:03.789 a lot of people are buying and selling baseball 00:55:03.789 --> 00:55:05.989 and you can get kind of better deals. So Royce 00:55:05.989 --> 00:55:08.130 Lewis, Corbin Carroll, I bought a couple singles 00:55:08.130 --> 00:55:10.289 of Corbin Carroll. I thought the prices were 00:55:10.289 --> 00:55:13.170 pretty decent. A couple of the rookies that had 00:55:13.170 --> 00:55:15.289 pretty good stuff, pretty good years with the 00:55:15.289 --> 00:55:18.869 Nats, James Wood, Dylan Cruz. I'm really working 00:55:18.869 --> 00:55:21.550 on my Dylan Cruz. PC right now I know he was 00:55:21.550 --> 00:55:22.949 injured for most of the year but I think good 00:55:22.949 --> 00:55:25.210 things are ahead for that duo in Washington and 00:55:25.210 --> 00:55:28.710 then Outside of the major sports, I am really 00:55:28.710 --> 00:55:31.829 trying to work on my Becky Lynch personal collection. 00:55:31.929 --> 00:55:36.269 I am constantly looking for stuff for her, whether 00:55:36.269 --> 00:55:39.590 it's autos or numbered stuff. I'm really trying 00:55:39.590 --> 00:55:42.929 to work on specific wrestlers that I like in 00:55:42.929 --> 00:55:45.469 the WWE. Old school stuff, get some new stuff. 00:55:46.369 --> 00:55:48.829 They were supposed to release a new WWE product. 00:55:48.929 --> 00:55:51.829 That was supposed to come out, and that kind 00:55:51.829 --> 00:55:55.070 of just went away. Who knows what's going to 00:55:55.070 --> 00:55:57.130 happen on the horizon, but yeah, that's kind 00:55:57.130 --> 00:55:59.769 of what I'm working on for my own collection. 00:56:00.469 --> 00:56:02.429 I got to take a little bit of a break from buying 00:56:02.429 --> 00:56:05.610 the big products because it's not the right time 00:56:05.610 --> 00:56:07.210 of year, and I wish they would spread this stuff 00:56:07.210 --> 00:56:10.579 out more. But anyway, I think that's going to 00:56:10.579 --> 00:56:14.219 wrap it up for this episode of the 3Ts podcast. 00:56:14.539 --> 00:56:16.659 So if you have enjoyed this episode or any of 00:56:16.659 --> 00:56:19.119 the episodes of the 3Ts podcast, do me a favor. 00:56:19.179 --> 00:56:20.500 Share it with someone you know, whether they 00:56:20.500 --> 00:56:23.739 are a fellow Bills Mafia member, a avid card 00:56:23.739 --> 00:56:25.920 collector, or someone who loves professional 00:56:25.920 --> 00:56:28.260 wrestling. It doesn't matter. I'm trying to grow 00:56:28.260 --> 00:56:30.039 this thing one episode at a time. Hit that follow. 00:56:30.119 --> 00:56:31.679 Hit that like. Leave me a quick review. Help 00:56:31.679 --> 00:56:33.440 me build this thing together. And as always, 00:56:33.539 --> 00:56:39.760 I appreciate you all very, very much. So until 00:56:39.760 --> 00:56:42.320 next time, whether it's ripping packs, breaking 00:56:42.320 --> 00:56:45.280 tables, or dropping elbows, keep doing what you 00:56:45.280 --> 00:56:47.599 love. And as always, Go Bills!
