- 0:07Speaker 1: Let's get into it today we'll be talking about XRP.
- 0:09Speaker 1: Give you guys some insights on why the market is
- 0:12Speaker 1: adjusting right now, what does it mean for the future.
- 0:14Speaker 1: My name is Pamberre. Welcome back in a tech path.
- 0:16Speaker 1: Let's get into it. I do want to thank our sponsor,
- 0:18Speaker 1: and that is Uphold. If you want to hold XRP,
- 0:20Speaker 1: guess where you can do it?
- 0:21Speaker 2: You can do it over on Uphold.
- 0:23Speaker 1: What I have to do is visit uphold dot com.
- 0:25Speaker 2: Get in there.
- 0:26Speaker 1: They're actually paying some yield on both our l USD
- 0:29Speaker 1: as well as your US dollar balance. So check it
- 0:32Speaker 1: all out. Crypto better. They give you an edge. There's
- 0:35Speaker 1: a lot of cool features too within Uphold that you
- 0:39Speaker 1: want to get into, and some of which actually give
- 0:41Speaker 1: you early access to token. So go over and check
- 0:45Speaker 1: it out. It's very simple to join. Use our link
- 0:48Speaker 1: down below. It's going to get you started on your
- 0:49Speaker 1: Uphold plan. All right, let's go over to a couple
- 0:52Speaker 1: of the topics. Here's Jack the rippler. XRP is moving
- 0:55Speaker 1: against the market. If you think about XRP right now,
- 0:59Speaker 1: with the fact that we've seen so much crypto fud
- 1:03Speaker 1: over the last three days, the fact that XRP is
- 1:07Speaker 1: somewhat sideways is phenomenal, and it's holding right now just
- 1:10Speaker 1: below USDT, which is around one hundred and thirty seven bill.
- 1:15Speaker 1: XARP holding around one thirty six right now, so pretty
- 1:17Speaker 1: phenomenal for the token in general.
- 1:20Speaker 2: I want to go to a clip real quick. This
- 1:22Speaker 2: will give you a little.
- 1:22Speaker 1: Bit more of an inside understanding on where Tradfi is
- 1:27Speaker 1: explaining Ripple and the FUD.
- 1:29Speaker 2: Take a look another one you like is Ripple?
- 1:32Speaker 3: You said it is the coin to be looking at
- 1:34Speaker 3: right now?
- 1:35Speaker 2: Absolutely?
- 1:35Speaker 4: Why?
- 1:36Speaker 3: Okay? So Ripple actually was the second largest coin prior
- 1:40Speaker 3: to the SEC's investigation of them. They did this really
- 1:42Speaker 3: weird lawsuit against them, and basically the Ripple is going
- 1:46Speaker 3: to be the track that everything's going to be running
- 1:48Speaker 3: on in the future. So they created their own stable
- 1:50Speaker 3: coin right now, okay. And Bank of America, like I said,
- 1:52Speaker 3: they were doing one hundred percent of their internal transactions.
- 1:55Speaker 3: They've got eighty three different patents on it, and there's
- 1:58Speaker 3: some incredible stuff that's going to be.
- 2:01Speaker 2: All right.
- 2:02Speaker 1: So that's a big statement coming in from an analyst
- 2:04Speaker 1: right now over there on the broadcast media. And again,
- 2:08Speaker 1: I think some of this is still starting to sync
- 2:11Speaker 1: into where Ripple will go in terms of the potential
- 2:15Speaker 1: for what it could be both XRP, but also just
- 2:18Speaker 1: a lot of the connection of the dots right now,
- 2:21Speaker 1: I think with the current administration, Ripple just put out
- 2:24Speaker 1: I think a big hiring statement. They're trying to get
- 2:26Speaker 1: a policy director going. There's a lot happening right now
- 2:29Speaker 1: from a political standpoint between Ripple and the US government.
- 2:32Speaker 2: So just keep a close eye.
- 2:34Speaker 1: Let's take a look at the chart real quick, and
- 2:36Speaker 1: you can kind of see right here, everything else not
- 2:39Speaker 1: a good look, but Ripple somewhat sideways, actually trending up
- 2:43Speaker 1: right now from where it had dipped to, which was
- 2:46Speaker 1: around a dollar ninety nine. And we had talked about
- 2:48Speaker 1: this toward the end of the year as a close
- 2:51Speaker 1: over the one ninety eight mark, which was the mark
- 2:53Speaker 1: we were looking at. It may never return there again.
- 2:55Speaker 1: This one is a beast that continues to perform. If
- 3:00Speaker 1: you compare that to even one of my favorites. Look
- 3:02Speaker 1: at this cut right here on Avalanche. I mean, this
- 3:05Speaker 1: is a nice little buy right now. Go from the
- 3:07Speaker 1: top of where Avalanche was just here recently down to
- 3:09Speaker 1: where it's holding negative of twenty one percent right there,
- 3:12Speaker 1: and I don't know, this is a goodbye to me.
- 3:14Speaker 1: I would look at thirty six dollars for an Avalanche
- 3:17Speaker 1: token right now. It is trending down key things with Avalanche.
- 3:21Speaker 1: Not an Avalanche video today to really talk about where
- 3:23Speaker 1: they're going. We probably should do an update on Avalanche.
- 3:26Speaker 1: But a lot of interesting things happening over there. We're
- 3:29Speaker 1: anticipating some big news coming up on Avalanche as well.
- 3:32Speaker 2: All right, let's go over to this tweet right here.
- 3:36Speaker 1: US government cleared to sell about seventy thousand bitcoins. This
- 3:40Speaker 1: will be worth about six point five billion. This was
- 3:42Speaker 1: all seased from Silk Road. Now there's a little bit
- 3:45Speaker 1: of backstory to this, but basically, you know, there are
- 3:48Speaker 1: some things that the US government has to do. Update
- 3:51Speaker 1: on the This is Marty Party talking about this on
- 3:53Speaker 1: the DOJ selling ruling was made December thirtieth, so this
- 3:56Speaker 1: is a little bit older.
- 3:58Speaker 2: This is a little appears to be a little.
- 4:01Speaker 1: Bit more fud in the market right now. Other things
- 4:05Speaker 1: you look at Adam Cochrane and since dummies seem to
- 4:08Speaker 1: think this political quicker mind or DG is required to
- 4:11Speaker 1: sell any cleared assets to cash and transfer that cash
- 4:14Speaker 1: to treasury once sold. It's something that is constant ongoing
- 4:19Speaker 1: in the in the process of how this is done
- 4:22Speaker 1: in terms of holding assets like that, other things that
- 4:25Speaker 1: are happening out here. Lark Davis hits on this very
- 4:27Speaker 1: same thing, US government selling six point five bill, but really,
- 4:31Speaker 1: in reality it's only point three five percent of bitcoin's
- 4:34Speaker 1: current market caps, so it's a very small amount.
- 4:36Speaker 2: I think the impact on bitcoin.
- 4:38Speaker 1: Is really driven more from the ETF and I think
- 4:41Speaker 1: that's the one that everybody has to look at. The
- 4:43Speaker 1: other thing you have to compare is the Fear and
- 4:45Speaker 1: Greed Index right now when it comes to the S
- 4:47Speaker 1: and F SMP is pretty heavy right now at thirty two,
- 4:51Speaker 1: but when you look over at crypto, not so much.
- 4:54Speaker 1: It's I mean, the greed is still on right now
- 4:57Speaker 1: on it. Are we at a point where maybe there's
- 4:59Speaker 1: a little bit of I mean, we've been through it
- 5:03Speaker 1: so many times, there's a little bit of desensitization of
- 5:06Speaker 1: where the market currently is. I know, for me, when
- 5:09Speaker 1: I look at the portfolios, it feels that way is
- 5:11Speaker 1: I'm just desensitized so much to these crashes that I
- 5:15Speaker 1: look at it and say, there's too many positive things
- 5:17Speaker 1: that are still flowing into the opportunity for crypto in general.
- 5:21Speaker 1: Spot bitcoin ETF has always one to track, and there's
- 5:25Speaker 1: some interesting things here. And whether you believe this chart
- 5:28Speaker 1: or not, but if you look at these reversals all
- 5:30Speaker 1: the way back into March of last year, and then
- 5:33Speaker 1: these reversal ups on endflows, it pretty much has been
- 5:37Speaker 1: the case almost every time. A handful of that have
- 5:41Speaker 1: not been but usually it's a couple of days on
- 5:45Speaker 1: these outflows and then these blow ups, another couple of
- 5:48Speaker 1: days outflows, another blow up, a couple of days, another
- 5:51Speaker 1: blow up, and then with exception of this little range
- 5:53Speaker 1: right here which was back in December, which is still
- 5:56Speaker 1: I think those are one of the ones that are
- 5:58Speaker 1: a little bit different because of the tax harvesting things
- 6:00Speaker 1: like that. And then here we are again another big
- 6:04Speaker 1: evacuation on the ETF. Are we in for a reversal
- 6:08Speaker 1: on bitcoin with another blow up and possibly another big
- 6:12Speaker 1: all time high in terms of enflows. The market is
- 6:15Speaker 1: definitely being played on a cycle for sure. Other things
- 6:19Speaker 1: I want to hit too is institutional bitcoin accumulation now
- 6:22Speaker 1: continues to despite the low retail demand. I think that's
- 6:25Speaker 1: going to change quite a bit here, but large investors
- 6:27Speaker 1: now accumulating over thirty four thousand bitcoins valued at about
- 6:31Speaker 1: three point two bill And remember this is despite fifteen
- 6:36Speaker 1: percent drop after reaching the all time high. Now I
- 6:38Speaker 1: want to kind of step back from that because there's
- 6:41Speaker 1: a couple of points you have to consider here. Why
- 6:43Speaker 1: is bitcoin still the leverage against the dollar and that
- 6:46Speaker 1: it simply is going to be and we've heard us
- 6:48Speaker 1: talk about this a little bit over the last three
- 6:50Speaker 1: four months. Is that inflation is not going away. It's
- 6:53Speaker 1: very possible we could see an acceleration of inflation. I
- 6:58Speaker 1: know that's a bad thing, but is a good thing
- 7:00Speaker 1: for crypto. I believe it's a good thing for bitcoin.
- 7:03Speaker 1: That will mean a good thing for all coins things
- 7:05Speaker 1: of that nature, just because it will be a flight
- 7:07Speaker 1: to safety versus the dollar if we continue to deflate
- 7:11Speaker 1: the dollars.
- 7:11Speaker 2: So there's a lot of playing.
- 7:12Speaker 1: Here that a lot of people are looking at. The
- 7:15Speaker 1: other thing that I still like is the fact that
- 7:17Speaker 1: we continue to see Wall Street accepting what's happening in
- 7:20Speaker 1: the crypto industry. And this of course is the Crypto
- 7:23Speaker 1: wallet forst crypto wallet to go out on the New
- 7:27Speaker 1: York Stock Exchange, which is exodus. But right out there,
- 7:30Speaker 1: that's the fact that it's becoming mainstream, that we're seeing
- 7:33Speaker 1: more and more of this start to hit Wall Street.
- 7:35Speaker 1: So that in itself again along with regulation, along with
- 7:40Speaker 1: a very crypto friendly bureaucracy now from the SEC and
- 7:44Speaker 1: now soon to be the CFTC, all good stuff going forward.
- 7:51Speaker 1: Here we go, History replates repeats itself January bitcoin dump.
- 7:54Speaker 1: You've seen it already. Election years always start with a
- 7:56Speaker 1: massive correction. Twenty seventeen we saw in negative thirty five one,
- 8:00Speaker 1: a negative thirty six, twenty twenty five so far seven percent.
- 8:04Speaker 1: That's where we are right now. But you can see
- 8:05Speaker 1: these little ranges. Let me zoom in on these.
- 8:07Speaker 2: For you guys.
- 8:08Speaker 1: Right there is a good example of the last selection
- 8:12Speaker 1: and then the adjustment we saw in January. Then you
- 8:16Speaker 1: go over here, same kind of scenario, the adjustment we
- 8:18Speaker 1: saw and then boom. Is that the same kind of
- 8:21Speaker 1: scenario that we're painting out for this January? All of
- 8:24Speaker 1: that could be playing out in real time. Trump inauguration
- 8:28Speaker 1: no longer is a sell the news if that is
- 8:29Speaker 1: in the fact, the case is, it's.
- 8:31Speaker 2: No longer a sell the news event.
- 8:33Speaker 1: But instead a by the dip event.
- 8:35Speaker 2: So are we.
- 8:37Speaker 1: Leaning into a trumpet inauguration where bitcoin and crypto could
- 8:41Speaker 1: be basically coming in underperforming. And then after January twentieth
- 8:46Speaker 1: we see a massive movement going forward, because remember, soon
- 8:49Speaker 1: as January twentieth hits, we are actually going to start
- 8:53Speaker 1: to see policy and we will start to see what
- 8:56Speaker 1: policies are implemented. One that I'm watching right now is
- 8:59Speaker 1: how the TikTok situation folds out, how the stable coin
- 9:04Speaker 1: situation folds out. All of these are going to be
- 9:06Speaker 1: accelerated very quickly. And do we get a lot of
- 9:08Speaker 1: lawsuits dropped immediately. All of that could happen starting January
- 9:13Speaker 1: twenty one, literally first day in office, So be watching
- 9:17Speaker 1: all of that stuff.
- 9:17Speaker 2: This is another one right here.
- 9:19Speaker 1: This is the perfect example of CFTC trying to get
- 9:22Speaker 1: one last dunk in on the industry. CFTC issues a
- 9:25Speaker 1: sub poenut to coinbase over the polymarket investigation. I won't
- 9:29Speaker 1: say much about where that we think that might be coming,
- 9:32Speaker 1: but I think there's some nefarious operators out there. But
- 9:36Speaker 1: the move is amid an ongoing regulatory scrutiny of polymarket,
- 9:40Speaker 1: which has been restricted for US residents. Maybe because you remember,
- 9:44Speaker 1: there is a regulated betting market right out there right now.
- 9:48Speaker 2: It's called CALCI.
- 9:49Speaker 1: Just throw that name out there for a second. And
- 9:51Speaker 1: then the possibility of sharing user data with the CFTC
- 9:54Speaker 1: has raised concerns about the privacy and regulatory implication of
- 9:58Speaker 1: its customers.
- 9:59Speaker 2: How do they get that? Do they know that?
- 10:00Speaker 1: Where's that coming from? It looks to me like it's
- 10:03Speaker 1: just a little bit too convenient, a convenient truth, as
- 10:07Speaker 1: they say. Other things to look at right here, crypto
- 10:11Speaker 1: industry rates, Trump's CFTC chair pick. The one that we're
- 10:15Speaker 1: watching is this guy right here. His name is Brian
- 10:18Speaker 1: Kintets or Contents, and this guy is the global head
- 10:23Speaker 1: of policy over at A sixteen Z You guys know who.
- 10:26Speaker 1: That is one of the biggest vcs out there in
- 10:29Speaker 1: the blockchain space. And he's got ex CFTC commissioner positions available.
- 10:36Speaker 2: So this is the guy.
- 10:36Speaker 1: I think that is the one that walks in on
- 10:39Speaker 1: the CFTC takes over and this will be another pro
- 10:43Speaker 1: position on crypto in one of the biggest areas of
- 10:47Speaker 1: regulatory finance that's out there, and that is of course,
- 10:52Speaker 1: the you know, the CFTC. When it comes to commodities,
- 10:55Speaker 1: and bitcoin being a commodity, so a big one.
- 10:57Speaker 2: I want to go to another clip. This is one
- 10:59Speaker 2: that will wrap it up.
- 10:59Speaker 1: We'll take look at a couple of charts here before
- 11:02Speaker 1: we get out of here, but I want to go
- 11:03Speaker 1: with one, and this, of course is Gary Gensler just
- 11:07Speaker 1: cannot stop.
- 11:08Speaker 2: It's just too juicy. Take a look. You came into
- 11:12Speaker 2: this job.
- 11:13Speaker 1: You gave a big speech in which you analogize the
- 11:15Speaker 1: crypto world to the wild West.
- 11:17Speaker 2: I guess that makes you the sheriff.
- 11:18Speaker 1: So is it less of a wild West than it
- 11:20Speaker 1: was as you leave this office?
- 11:22Speaker 4: The public knows a lot about bitcoin, which is, depending
- 11:26Speaker 4: upon its market value on any given day, is two
- 11:28Speaker 4: thirds to eighty percent of the market value of crypto.
- 11:34Speaker 4: And then there's everything else where some people say bitcoin
- 11:37Speaker 4: and athereum and everything else. These ten or fifteen thousand projects,
- 11:45Speaker 4: they're raising money from the public, and the public's investing,
- 11:49Speaker 4: or they're just the public's investing hoping for a better future.
- 11:55Speaker 4: I've been around finance for over four decades, and everything
- 12:00Speaker 4: in the market's trade on a mixture of fundamentals and
- 12:04Speaker 4: sentiment at any given time. I've never seen a field
- 12:08Speaker 4: that's so much wrapped up in sentiment and not so
- 12:12Speaker 4: much about fundamentals. And these ten to fifteen thousand projects,
- 12:17Speaker 4: many of them will not survive. They're like venture capital investments.
- 12:21Speaker 4: They're not going to survive.
- 12:24Speaker 1: Well, you know, Gary, he's always got that cutting edge
- 12:28Speaker 1: theory there. That is all crap because when you look
- 12:32Speaker 1: at investment, the problem with the investment architecture that's out
- 12:34Speaker 1: there today is they.
- 12:36Speaker 2: Keep the little guy down.
- 12:37Speaker 1: You have to be an a credit investor to be
- 12:38Speaker 1: able to play into that. What this is simply doing
- 12:41Speaker 1: when you look at the crypto market, it is invading
- 12:44Speaker 1: in on the ability to control capital. And that's the
- 12:47Speaker 1: problem that really, when you think about it, the big
- 12:50Speaker 1: investors have with controlling capital. That's why I think the
- 12:53Speaker 1: afetfs are doing so well as they are able to
- 12:56Speaker 1: at least somewhat control what's happening in the bitcoin space.
- 12:59Speaker 1: It's their first real chance at it, and you've seen
- 13:01Speaker 1: us an amazing success. But thank goodness, in just a
- 13:05Speaker 1: few days we will see mister Gensler's last time to
- 13:08Speaker 1: step into the sec building and no longer affect the
- 13:11Speaker 1: crypto market for sure. Taking a look at the markets
- 13:14Speaker 1: real quick Bitcoin of course trading right now at ninety
- 13:16Speaker 1: two nine after three days good soon to be a
- 13:20Speaker 1: three day closed on a red candle and down quite
- 13:23Speaker 1: a bit here, what do we have two percent on
- 13:25Speaker 1: the day others to watch a course, as you guys
- 13:28Speaker 1: have been kind of cluing on, some of these are
- 13:31Speaker 1: some pretty good buys right now?
- 13:33Speaker 2: Eight down? What is that?
- 13:34Speaker 1: Almost twelve percent in three days? That's another one that
- 13:37Speaker 1: might be a goodbye. Are there some areas where you
- 13:40Speaker 1: guys are looking. Let's take a look at Cardono. Cardano
- 13:43Speaker 1: took a nice hit. Let's go from Cardono's position to
- 13:46Speaker 1: where were they got almost twenty five percent for Cardno
- 13:49Speaker 1: in the last three days, so.
- 13:52Speaker 2: Near protocol.
- 13:53Speaker 1: Everybody pretty much down, but some are holding a little
- 13:56Speaker 1: bit more resilient than others. Let me know what you get. Guys,
- 14:00Speaker 1: are moving on right now? If you are d c
- 14:02Speaker 1: A in on certain projects, are you going after you
- 14:05Speaker 1: know some of the memes and AI agents. Are you
- 14:07Speaker 1: taking a look at some of the values in the
- 14:10Speaker 1: top tier? What are you jumping into or are you
- 14:13Speaker 1: or maybe are you just setting back on this dip
- 14:15Speaker 1: and waiting for another one? All right, you guys are
- 14:17Speaker 1: not in the diamond circle right. All you have to
- 14:20Speaker 1: do is just click the link down below. It's very simple,
- 14:23Speaker 1: very easy to do, and of course follow me out
- 14:24Speaker 1: there on X at Paul Baron.
- 14:26Speaker 2: We'll catch you next time. Right here, a tech path
